Oh, Cho.
Joe Burrow made some noise this week by indicating he'll play a role in helping
push the Bengals to resign T. Higgins. The franchise tag wide receiver who has been viewed
as a like is likely to leave in 2025. Yeah. Has said he would like to stay, but did not
offer much confidence. He resigned. Jamar Chase chimed in and said T deserves to be here.
He wants to be here.
It's all about how they want to play it.
Yeah.
T has parted ways with his agent, David Mugaleta.
Yeah.
I don't know who he's signed with, Ocho.
Um, you know, Joe had a situation where after the, uh, during the game, his
home was invaded, um, Joe is someone that's been through that.
Yes.
You feel like your privacy has been invaded by the worst way.
Somebody came into your home uninvited, went through, rambled through.
I don't know if they took anything.
And like you said, Joe, you know, you know, you play,
you asked to be a professional athlete to be in this role,
but it doesn't make it easier. Yeah.
And it seems to be something that's reoccurring.
Oh, Joe, that and they sent us a gang that came up from South America
and they're targeting athletes while they're playing.
If you play, you clearly you're not home. Right.
And the likelihood of somebody being there because, hey, family, friends
and loved ones, they're going to be at the game watching you.
So this is the best time.
And, you know, it's a it's a coordinated attack. Yeah. But.
I don't wish bad on nobody, but I'm gonna tell you like my grandma used to say,
but I don't wish bad on nobody,
but I don't wish good on them either.
So if, and I saw two of the day at his press conference
saying he's had armed security.
Right.
Say, y'all might need to think,
y'all might need to think twice.
Joe Burrow issued a statement addressing the burglary
that occurred at his Cincinnati area home
while the Bengals were on the road to face the Cowboys.
I feel like my privacy has been violated
in more ways than one.
And it's already out there and I would want out there
and that's more than I care to share.
We live a public life.
One of the least favorite parts of that
is the lack of privacy. I agree.
And that's been difficult for me to deal with my entire career.
Tua announced that he has hired armed security to guard his house.
Just let it be known, they are armed.
And I hope if you decide to go to my house, you think twice.
Oh man, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's crazy, huh?
It's crazy, huh?
It's crazy.
We are in different times.
We're in different times as people.
We're in different times economically.
And people are doing what's necessary to...
I don't even know the way to put it.
They're taking chances.
They're taking a life altering chances to take from others and their hard work, you know,
and they willing to do whatever. Mm-hmm. And I'm willing to do whatever to
protect. Hey, listen, eye for eye. Mm-hmm. You know, but man that's unfortunate. And
back to the situation with um
Obviously contractually from a business standpoint
It's impossible. I
Love the words that all the players are saying about t1 to stay and I'm sure we have a lot of bangle fans in the chat I think it would be unfair to t it would be unfair to Jamar Chase, who is due a hefty deal.
You know?
Oh yeah.
And I think it's also knowing from a business standpoint, it's
impossible to pay Chase and T.
It's impossible to pay Chase what he's worth and pay T what he is
worth as well and still have them the same.
At some point, the person that would be getting the shit
into the stick is T. Higgins. I think T. Higgins deserves to go to a team where
he can be the number one guy, it could be his show, and he can get the money that he
deserves as a number one receiver, which I see him as. I love the thought of T. still
being there, but the way the business works, you can't afford both of them. You just can't.
I know Joe, Joe Burrow is saying all the right things, and I you can't afford both of them. You just can't. I know Joe Burrow is saying all the right things
and I would love to see both of them stay there,
but it's just impossible.
It's just impossible because of the type of receiver
that T. Higgins is.
You don't take a hometown discount.
You don't take a pay cut
because you only get so many chances.
You're on this-
Not the first contract.
Not the first contract.
Bro, not the first one.
You don't take no pay cuts. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Now, if you wanna take one down the road, youcho, not the first contract. You don't take no play cards.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Now if you want to take one down the road, Ocho, you done stack some chips.
Yeah. And we want to try to keep this thing together with the championship. Yeah. But not the first one. No.
The first one. No. I'm trying to get every dime I possibly can. You got to. You got to.
Because you, listen, with this game, with this game of football, you need your security.
And you're getting older. You don't get younger. It's not going backwards. So you listen, as much as I love the
thought of T staying there, like he deserves his money, the right money, not
just anything. Now we just gonna throw you this and see if you're gonna be happy.
Nah, you can't do him like that. You can't do him like that. You can't do him like that. Nah.
Hey, so, and Joe's like, hey, my privacy been invaded, hey, because I think LaShawty wanted to call the police.
Joe didn't want y'all to know about that shawty.
Oh, we had a LaShawty over there?
Yeah, you know, I had a little something over there,
you know, he's a little bit of a couple of them, you know.
Okay, okay, okay.
Okay, you know.
But then I'm home.
Yeah, you know, Joe gonna hang me something Joe go hang my knife
I'll blame it, but he don't want people to know right right privacy. That's the problem bingo cuz guess what?
They sports illustrated or somebody model right call the police. Oh, I dare to put that just say somebody called a poll right right
Oh, they did it. I'll have to do what they did. Oh, then you know, you got to leave your name now
You know when you call nine-one-one you got to think who am I who am I speaking to?
Your big-necked mammy, yeah
Hey that that's how I got out but let's that's the light that's like to live man
That's like to live the price is the price you pay for fame and being who you are
Yeah
for fame and being who you are. Yeah.
Doug Henry dropped the dreads for Braids.
Twitter said he was like Omar on the wire.
Fans are saying he lost all his aura.
What you think, Ocho?
I mean, we going to see.
We going to see if he lost his aura come Sunday.
We are going to see.
You don't see the man, Samson?
Yeah, I was just going to say, is he like Samson?
We going to find out. I highly doubt gonna say, is he like Sampson?
We gon' find out. I highly doubt it.
I don't think him running the ball and being as good as he is has anything to do with him dress.
It might be a good thing. He might be lighter.
Yeah.
Ain't gotta worry about nobody tackling.
Hey, cuz you know guys tackle you, cuz it used to be devil's appeal if you tackle somebody now
If it's hanging if it's hanging out you got them him it's part of uniform you could pull it yeah, I
Know that's painful. You running one way if somebody
Know you just want to fight what you want to do, bro. That's you. I grab oh Joe, you jump on water fight. What you want me to do, bro?
That's you.
I grab your jersey.
I was trying to grab your jersey.
Yeah.
But I don't know how them guys, I mean, some of that stuff,
oh Joe, they, they, they, they're, they're hair covered in name.
Yeah.
I think that, that, that, you know, most of the time,
I think the, the, it's a larger percentage of players
with dreads that's covering their name,
that play on the defensive side of the ball. Oh, yeah
Yes, is it? Yeah
I like I like I think somebody tackled Troy Pallamalu by his name. I remember that you on the interception
He got an interception or picked up a fumble or something. They pulled his hair. Yeah, I remember that
Yeah, so
Quinn Ewers is reportedly debating on returning to college football and foregoing the NFL
draft yet again.
However, Texas is reportedly ready to move on to archery next season, which would want
Ewers to enter the transfer portal.
Many NFL scouts reportedly believe Ewers could benefit from another year of college.
Ewers has one more year of eligibility left on it.
Most likely it will be spent on another top 10 team.
The Longhorns quarterback has a decision to make.
Yeah.
Oh, they're moving on.
He's gonna go to the portal.
He know good and well he might as well go on to the portal
because Texas is Arch Manning team from now on.
Though I'm not sure where he can go.
There'll be many, many suitors for him,
especially with the NIL money, where he
can come and try to help lead them to a national championship.
But you gotta be careful now.
You got, you gotta be careful.
If you go to Ohio state, you have to understand who the
quarterbacks are that already there.
Are you able to beat them out?
Are you better than what they already have at Ohio state?
You know, isn't Dylan Gabriel, isn't he a senior? Oh, go to Oregon? Yeah, go to Oregon. Take your ass to Oregon.
They put it in there. But you gotta be, you gotta make sure. You gotta make
sure you can beat out whoever's already there. If you can't, well you're gonna be
stuck. Well, he ain't gonna be stuck, he ain't gonna be stuck at, what you call him, in
Texas. No, no, no. Because they're going to Orange. Yeah, I mean he knows that.
It might be a situation where they encourage him
to enter the portal.
Yeah, I think he can read the room.
He can read the room.
Yeah.
Oh Joe, Travis Hunter is the Associate AP
College Football Player of the Year.
Rightfully so.
He received 26 or 43 votes on a panel of AP top 25 voters.
Hunter kept piling up the hardware.
He also won the Walter Kemp Player of the Year award,
along with the Chuck McNerrick award as top receiver,
and the Balitnikov award.
Yeah.
No, the Chuck McNerrick as the top defensive player, and the Balitnikov award. Yeah. No, the Chuck McNerric as the top defensive player
and the Balitnikov award as the top receiver.
And he should have won the Thorpe award.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Matter of fact.
Because if he'd have won that, nobody else,
I don't believe another player would have ever won these awards.
Right.
Well, that's not the only one.
He got one more coming too now.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
He got one more. He got one more coming too now. Oh, yeah. Yeah Yeah, you got one more. He got one more coming. Yeah, that's some that's some good hardware to before the draft
That's a real good hardware. Oh Joe. Does the Thorpe understand how that looks?
I'm not saying let's just say for the sake of argument right Joe
He doesn't win the award, but do you know how that looks when you don't have him as a finalist?
Yeah, and he just won the Chuck McNerrick as the top defensive player.
Is DB not on the defensive side of the football at Choke?
Listen, they don't know what they're doing.
They don't know what they're doing.
Okay, we can't give them everything.
We can't give them everything.
Why you can't?
I mean, because they didn't.
You know how they are.
You know how the people are.
The people that are in positions of power,
you know, we gonna find a way we don't find a way around it
We don't find some type of excuse and I would love I would love to hear the reasoning
Behind whoever makes the decision or whether he wins it or not. Why wouldn't you give it to him?
What's the gripe? Did you watch him play?
Do you actually understand the game of football and what he was able to do this season as a defensive back?
No, oh, come on now
It's always personal
It's always personal
He had a phenomenal season he had a phenomenal season, uh
An ohio politician has seen enough of flag planting by visiting sports teams.
Republican state Josh Williams said Wednesday on social media he's introducing a bill to
make flag planting in sports a felony in the state.
His proposal comes after November 30th fight at the Michigan Ohio State rivalry football game when the Wolverines beat the Buckeyes
13-10 and then attempted to plant the flag at midfield.
Guys, I don't know, would this be considered like a snowflake?
I'm just kidding, so, hey, chat, y'all help me out.
What would this be considered?
Snowflakism?
That's a good one. That's a good one.
That's a good one.
I'm just curious.
I mean, oh, Joe, now we don't do politics here.
No.
But I'm just trying to figure out, I mean,
you gonna introduce a bill.
A bill.
That if a visiting player were to plant their team flag
on your logo at midfield. It is a felony. Yeah
Yeah, they folk a listen they focus on the wrong stuff game and it won't play in it. Yeah, it's simple
It's simple
Simple
And they they make they make a rule they make a rules about the wrong kind of stuff
And they making rules about the wrong kind of stuff.
Man, they better be glad I wasn't doing that when I was there. I'm about to pull my pants off and plant some seeds myself.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh.
Wait, hey, you see how-
I won't plant no flag.
I'm planting something else, Focho.
You see how fast they created a bill
for something that really has no meaning.
It ain't harming nobody,
but don't wanna create a bill for, nevermind.
Nevermind, I'ma leave that alone.
I'm not in the policy, I'm not a politician.
But I'm just saying.
I should be in politics.
You see how fast they move?
You see how fast they move, huh?
It depends on where it is.
I'm telling you, What are you gonna do?
I work for a certain group of people.
Y'all put me in office, that's who I'm working for.
Because everybody ain't putting me in office.
Right. Right.
So put me in office, I'm gonna do exactly what I say.
What about the budget? What about it?
What are you looking at? Hey, I look at everything is unlimited. Right. Yeah. Yeah. We're
worried about it down the road. We kick the can down the road.
Shit, it's the way. Yes, it's the way to operate anyway. Thank you. It's the way to
operate anyway. Oh, Joe. Bronnie James celebrated a G League road debut by
setting a new career high in points.
Bronny led the South Bay Lakers with 30 points
in a 106-100 loss to the Valley Suns on Thursday night
in Tempe.
Bronny had 30 points, 13 of 23 field goal attempts,
three made threes, three rebounds, two assists.
His first G League road game for the South Bay Lakers.
He was ballin' though, Joe.
I ain't gonna lie to you, I watched it.
He was ballin'.
Yeah, he was.
Yeah, he was.
All you gotta do is keep stackin' him.
Keep stackin' him and buildin' that confidence.
Keep stackin' him and buildin' that confidence
that's at some point, I'm not sure when it's gonna happen,
at what point, you know, you playin' a G League,
you playin' a G League like this,
you build your confidence up, you get confidence in your shot, you know, you're playing a GD like this, you build your confidence up, you get confidence
in your shot, you know, doing whatever it is that you need to do and transition to the
bigger stage.
That's how it all starts.
That's how it all starts.
I'm happy for him.
I'm happy for him, especially for all the naysayers.
He can't play, he don't belong here.
Okay, he gonna pull you wrong.
He gonna pull you wrong.
And it all start with the words that big.
Yeah.
And we'll never run out of money, Ocho.
I just, we just print more.
I saw that during the pandemic.
Oh yeah.
We ain't got no money and they just started printing more.
They just, the printing presses just started rolling.
They don't have money depending on who's asking and depending on what they need to spend it on. Don't
ask me because I spent all my money. Oh it's always money baby. KD is back
arguing on the internet. I like that. He finished his Twitter thumbs this morning
saying I've accepted that most people would die haters. Yeah, I like that. I saw that I saw that
Can somebody
Can somebody tell me what I mean what we said? I didn't I didn't see this
Oh Oh lord have mercy.
It wasn't that bad.
It wasn't that bad.
But I like the fact that KD engages with the fans.
Someone that polarizing a figure of that magnitude, one of the best in the world that's ever played,
probably the greatest score of all time, sits there and he fucking interacts with us regular
folk.
He does.
Yeah, I like that. And I think more players should be acceptable
and show that they're also human as well
and have fun with us,
whether it be negative or positive, you know?
Whether it be negative or positive.
But Ocho, but Ocho, but it's like,
if I'm having, if I, let's just say,
I'm feeding the homeless,
and I feed 1,000, 1,500 people homeless,
and then a couple of people show up,
this is what you feed us?
You see, he get on the internet trying to have a good time
having interaction.
And then somebody come in and always got to be disrespectful.
Everybody, and that's what I'm just like, I mean, ooh,
sometimes I be wanting to light people up.
I still got it in me now.
I still got it in me.
But God say, hey, he say, I'm going to give you patience, but I'm gonna put you in a situation
that requires it.
I'm gonna see how you gonna handle it.
And I've been doing good.
I've been doing really good.
Cause you know me.
Yeah.
I like it though.
That's what makes the platform to me so much fun.
That's why I think the X app or the Twitter app, whatever you want to call it, is the
best thing.
Because everybody has an opinion.
Everybody's not going to agree with you.
The difference in opinion and the negativity
and the positivity, it what makes it so fun
because you control what you want to respond to.
I like the negative stuff.
I like the positive stuff.
I respond to the positive as well as the negative
to keep a healthy balance on my timeline.
I like going back and forth with people.
But you also say F you too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I be saying.
Oh yeah, okay, dude, just making sure it's on there.
That's why I say I like to respond to the negative.
I like it, I thoroughly enjoy it
and it's the way I've always been.
So people are used to it, especially coming from me.
I'm a curtain, you say something to me
or I'm firing back at you.
I'm firing back at you. Are you? Yeah, yeah. I'm done with that on you. I'm done, I'm letting curtain you say something to me or I'm fine back at you
No, I'll respond but I'm not I'm not gonna I'm not gonna be I'm not gonna be quick at the lip I'm gonna let I'm gonna let him have a moment. No, cuz I realized now Oh Joe a lot of people just want to rise out of you
That's fun. That's what makes it so fun. Huh?
Gotta fire back some time. Well, listen, I'll fire back for you then.
Nah, go ahead. You can.
I'm not firing back at them.
I'm gonna let them have it.
I'm gonna let them have it.
I'm gonna have my moments.
You know, it's time to, you know...
I gotta be big. I got...
I got responsibilities now.
Yeah, I understand you have a responsibility,
but it ain't nothing wrong with
firing back every blue moon.
Every, you ain't gotta do it all the time.
Just every so often somebody say,
thumbs slick of the lip, you just hit him real quick.
Just hit him real quick, you know?
Oh Joe, I used to be like this before I became a CEO.
Right, right, right, right.
See, you know, when I was the CEO,
you know I could do something like that.
Now, I'm gonna let him have a moment.

Oh Joe, Beyonce and Mariah Carey both will perform at NFL Christmas Day games.
Mariah's performance on Christmas Game Day will air ahead of the live games.
Beyonce will perform in her hometown of Houston during the Ravens Texans game.
Hey, that's going to be live.
That's going to be live. What platform is this on?
Do you know Netflix? It's on Netflix?
Whoa, wait a minute now now listen
I wonder are the servers gonna be able to handle the amount of people that are going to be watching because obviously when
There's a Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight. There was some issues
With what this with the service because if they're gonna lose their damn mind if them servers don't handle it. I'm telling you
Yeah, you know how to hear the feelings about that. Oh, if them servers don't handle it. I'm telling you. Yeah. You know how the NFL is about that problem.
Oh yeah, they don't play. So obviously whatever problem there was, there were when Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fought,
where it was kind of buffering over, it was kind of messed up a little bit.
I'm sure those have been rectified.
Understanding that you have Mariah Carey and God damn Beyonce coming, you know, for the Texas Ravens game.
So I'm assuming those issues are going to be fixed, but that's gonna be dope
That's gonna be dope cuz a lot of people that ain't even tuning in to watch no goddamn football. I'm gonna be I'm gonna be tuned in
Yeah, they're gonna be tuned in cuz I'm gonna be tuned in yeah, they want to see uh you know game on Christmas. Yeah
And they obviously want to see Beyonce mm- the field. Man, leave Beyonce alone.
Let that woman have a break.
Yeah.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But listen, that's what you need, huh?
That's what you need.
And B is the real deal, that's all she does.
I told you, remember I told you I was a backup dancer on the tour, right?
Yeah, one of the girls, one of the backup dancers, the male dudes, tore his Achilles.
He tore, and I filled in for the back half of the tour.
It was a great experience.
Beyonce was cool as hell, and she treated it as well.
I was hoping to work with her again,
but now I got too many damn jobs now.
Yeah, but look, I mean, I guess the best part
about having Jay-Z in Z in the fold is, uh, you know, you get access to Beyonce and it's kind of hard like, baby, I need you to do me this solid.
Yeah.
Because normally when they ask, she doesn't tell them no.
Oh yeah. Oh yeah. But Mariah and Beyonce will be performing at Christmas Day game.
Mariah will perform, her performance will air ahead
of the game and then Beyonce will perform at the halftime
of the Ravens Texans game.
All right, Ocho, now it's time for Q and A.
Q and A.
Hey, damn, we got a Q and A too fast.
I'm feeling good tonight, boy.
And we can stay on another two hours.
That took me a nap.
Ocho, before we get started,
we got a shout out at SenseiKid19.
Check this out, Ocho.
At SenseiKid19, he's watched 13,623 minutes
of the Night Cal podcast this year.
Yeah, he on the night?
You think he on the night? Yeah. year. Yeah, he only on the night you think you own the night
Yeah, hey, what's up? What's up since he kid? I'm assuming he's from Cincinnati, right?
I mean
Probably I mean he could theoretically. I mean he could be from Pittsburgh, but really I don't know if the city kid
Then again, it might be Jordan
Hey since the kid if you watch tonight it tonight, man, I salute you.
I salute you. I appreciate the support, homie. Uh, if you are from Cincinnati,
um, you already know what it is. Yeah. Yeah. I appreciate it, man.
That's love, man. That's love.
It absolutely is. We appreciate your support, man.
Appreciate you always tuning in and checking us out.
The sensei kid has watched the grand total of 13,623 minutes.
Cissy Kid 19, we salute you bro.
Terrence G said, Hey guys, another poor season for my Bears.
What do you think about hiring Brian Flores?
I love him.
I love it because the only thing that matters to him is winning.
I think he was going to get another opportunity.
Um, I think most coaches it's going to get another opportunity. I think most
coaches, it's the sicker time around now, every once in a while you get coaches
that figured out the first time. But if you look at a lot of times the
first coaches, Coach Billich, I mean Coach Belichick. First time
Cleveland, okay but not so well. Mike Shanahan, his first job in
Oakland, Denver, figured it out.
Yeah. You look at Pete Carroll, Pete Carroll had two stops.
People don't realize before he went to Seattle, he was at the
Jets and the Patriots. Not so much.
Yeah. Now you look at Bill Parcells, look at the success
he had first stop.
Boom. Jimmy Johnson first up.
Boom. But a lot of times guys it takes a couple of stops
At least one stop before they figured out and I think he learned by some of the things that he did
Well, some of the things that at the end of the day you got to be you
Yeah, y'all got to stop trying to be coach Belichick. Yeah
And that's what I think that's why a lot of his disciples guys that came from coach Belichick
Mm-hmm. They tried too hard to be like him Ocho and they don't be themselves.
There's only one Coach Belichick.
Yeah.
And you know what else is important too?
For these coaches that get these stops, may they be one, two, three, now how many stops
it is?
But normally it's all about situation and where you go.
Because if you go to the right team with the right personnel and the right players, that,
it can be one stop.
It can be one stop, depending on where you go.
So we think about Brian Flores getting another opportunity.
Hell, he can go any goddamn way.
If you take the same personality gap with the goddamn Vikings, you take the Viking
defense with you.
But you go to another team that doesn't have the same type of players or the same type
of skill set at certain positions that allow you to do some of the things you do.
In Minnesota, it's gonna be a problem.
You're right.
Murderland88 asks Dan, oh, next time first take,
why are Rams played so poorly,
even though they're more healthy than the 49ers?
It rained.
Hey, I wanna ask you,
Brock Purdy still you know still a top
five quarterback? Still elite? They said he was. That was DLC every time. They
said he was. But normally you know when you're a top five quarterback right
despite the injuries despite the players that are out you know what they
continue to do uplift their what? I'm just saying now I could be wrong I just been watching the game of football for 20-25 years but I'm just saying. Now I could be wrong. I just been watching the
game of football for 20-25 years, but I'm just saying if you're a top five
quarterback, once you're in that category, in that tier, regardless of who's hurt or
who's around you, you continue to uplift. What has Josh Allen done?
Okay, I'm just curious. I'm just curious. Okay, I'm gonna let that go.
Cause I don't really like talking about people too much.
I didn't got a little better at it, but you get the point.
Odie Poke too.
Hey, Uncle Nojo, as a Seahawks fan,
do you think we have any chance to win these next game
and win the division?
You got damn right.
Love y'all, be safe. Yeah, for sure. What you talking about, man. We got Gino Smith what you know, you know Smith from wait from the 305
Anytime you got somebody with that type of background based on where they from and what he's done
You know a Gino Smith been through to get to the point where man don't get me started man. Y'all good
You got it. You got opportunity and listen that goddamn that damn comp that conference that NFC that's up for grabs
They NFC NFC West right? Yes. That's up for grabs. What you talking about?
And if there's anybody that's gonna do it, it's gonna be goddamn Gino
The frog agree. I like them. I like them
Red hood said oh Joe. Oh Joe you and Vic got to retire from man. Just cause y'all embassies don't make y'all good.
Y'all owe into.
Hold on, time out, time out, time out,
time out young boy, time out young boy.
Listen, for one, I'm the best player in Madden in the world.
The problem is, is the fact that I haven't been able
to play Madden the way I used to,
because I got 57, 11,000 goddamn jobs,
so I haven't been able to be on Madden as much as I like to,
which is why you saw me lose tonight to sketch.
That's it.
Well get your ass off there.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
I haven't had the time.
I haven't had the adequate time to put the time in like I used to.
I used to win the Madden Bowls.
I used to win the Madden Bowls.
That's how great I was.
But the fact that the past five, six years, like I've been stacking job after job and
I ain't really had time to focus on gaming the way I used to. Okay, well stay off it because you've been stacking
L after L. Just like you stacking jobs, you stacking L's now. Right, right. You see,
you see, that's what happens. And because of my job, that is also, it is also ruined
my romantic interests as well.
You see?
I've had a thing, I prayed on stuff like this.
I prayed on opportunities like this
and just everything seemed to be falling by the wayside
because God has given me what I prayed for.
Yeah, a bunch of A's.
4K T-Tuck, I'll get it here.
You ever heard of the story?
Junior Bridgeman, former Bugs player, 70s and 80s,
made 2.95, a little less than $3 million,
play, brought winners in Chili's franchises after his career.
I absolutely have.
Turned those into, he's just American success story.
One of the first African-American players
to take the small money that he made, invested off time.
He learned the business, invested, and now he's worth seven, eight hundred million dollars.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
And he's one of the few too.
Think about all the horror stories with that small amount of money that he took a chance
with.
Think about all the horror stories that people have had that had more money than that.
They've done investment after investment after investment and they failed.
I think a lot of people always hear the good stories about people investing their money
and every time you hear somebody about getting a lump sum of money the first thing they say,
oh I'm going to invest it.
Not realizing nine times out of ten you're going to lose before you hit.
So you have to have the money to continue to keep investing because you're going to
take loss after loss after loss.
Every time you invest in something it ain't
Gonna hit. Nope. You're absolutely right. And so that's what you have to like, you know, hey
Hey, I'm gonna take these singles because you know everybody everybody gonna be able to hit no Google
The ride share and all that other stuff everybody gonna be able to hit it out the park with that
You got it. I'm gonna take these little singles right here at Ocho
and just keep my little six, seven percent.
Yeah, I would love to have a couple that hit 25, 30, 10 Xs.
It's hard, huh?
It's hard.
At this point in time now, I'm gonna lose.
It's hard.
Cause I can't, to lose, I'll never make it up.
No, you can't.
I mean, not at this point in our life, though.
Nope.
Adrian Massito, Ocho, the Riverdance,
the top five celebration of all times,
what made you do it?
Riverdance.
Saturday, the Lord of the something, Lord of the Dance.
The commercial came on, we were playing Chicago,
it was 2005, I'll never forget,
and this is how the celebration came about. The Lord of the Dance was in Chicago at the time and the
commercial came on in the hotel room and I was like, you know what, that is cool,
it's funny, so I practiced in the hotel room and I had no choice but to score and
so obviously when I did score against the Bears, I tried to do what I saw the
previous night in the hotel room and that's where most of my
celebrations came from. When I did the Tiger night in the hotel room. And that's where most of my celebrations came from.
When I did the Tiger Woods putt,
Tiger just won a major and he did the fist pump.
And that's why I grabbed the pylon and I just copied that.
When I did the marriage proposal
to the cheerleader on the sideline,
my homeboy had just got married.
I said, you know what, boy, I got one for you.
And I told the cheerleaders,
I don't know who's gonna be near me once I said, you know what, boy, I got one for you. You know, and I told the cheerleaders, I don't know who's
going to be near me once I score. But when I come to you,
just react as if I'm really proposing. Yeah, every
everything was a spur of the moment.
The last the underscore last underscore philosopher said if
Dreya text y'all, hey, at 12am, what y'all doing? He texted me
I ain't got she ain't got my number.
Dre who?
She got some, she has someone.
I'm happy for her, I'm happy for him.
Look.
Who and Dre who?
How many Dre's you know, Ocho?
I don't even like that hypothetical.
But I'm just saying, me, first of all, let me tell you how I am.
I done got too old, and I never ask more than I'm willing to give.
So you know what?
I ain't gonna call you at 12 a.m. and you damn sure better not call me because I ain't
coming, I ain't gonna ask you to come.
I done got too old.
I ain't getting up and unlocking no door, and's like a Michael angle baby. Go back to sleep
I'm not gonna interrupt my sleep pattern
And if you call me my phone is sent to a special ring it better be it better be Kayla
Kiara a poo it better be my brother's sister or my mom. Yeah, other than that
Yeah
No, don't call don't call me.
Because I already know you also bulljab.
No, no, I don't I don't I don't do that.
I don't do that. No, hell no.
We get somebody else about which what you do with.
That's what I did about it.
What the hell you think I do?
You know what I was doing? I was cutting the grass.
And here you think, you know what? I was changing. I was changing my alternate
What do you think people be doing at 1 30 the morning? Oh Joe
I'm trying to figure out who called who phone that time of night anyway, cuz you know, we're gonna answer mine
Man, please man. I wish I man I wish
Look, will you y'all go Joe? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I wish I, man, I wish. Look, were you, were you young, old Joe?
You think, hey, get on it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I don't, I think people watch, people watching,
you know, these hypothetical,
they forget how old he is, huh?
Yeah!
I'm asleep by nine o'clock if I'm not doing the show.
I'm thinking, I am not, boy, anybody that knows Shannon,
they know Shannon do not like to be waking up, woken up.
Right, right, right, right, right.
And I definitely don't be woken up by no bull or giant.
Matter of fact, just for you saying that,
I'm gonna call you every day when we off
at two in the morning.
See?
I'm gonna call you, I'm gonna have to have to,
what you call, I'm gonna have to have to call the police
that someone pranked, swatting me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Ah, man, don't be calling nobody.
Look, to each his own.
I mean, if that's the type of relationship
people wanna have, I ain't got no problem with it,
don't you?
I just ain't one of those.
Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, never that.
Cause you ain't coming over here until 12 o'clock.
If you calling me at 12 o'clock anyway,
like that's disrespectful to me.
Why wouldn't you call me at a decent hour? So you really you really you really like honestly you trying me like I'm just a piece of ass
No, hey, and I'm thinking that you know what I'm thinking. Oh, what somebody else done told you no, it's so now I'm your second
Oh, yeah
Now you ain't gonna play with me cuz it cuz he ain't want you, what make you think I do?
Now if you'd call me about three, four hours earlier.
Yeah, yeah.
Hey, I would let you get a little soft.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'd let you get a little soft.
No, no, no, no, hell no.
12 o'clock.
That's too late, I ain't get no.
Wait a minute, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
You gotta think about it now.
12 o'clock at night, most of the time,
women that are intoxicated and have consumed alcohol
No, I don't do that. But that listen they always call who they love first. I don't care. Don't you call me?
Don't call me. I don't I don't first of all
First of all, I'm gonna pick up so that's the I but I don't do I don't I don't I don't do that
I don't do the drunk call and the drunk text. No
No, I would know I don't drink. drunk calling, the drunk texting. No. No, hell no. I wouldn't know.
I don't drink.
I'm just saying.
I just heard.
I heard.
I would hate, I hate, look, I would hate being out
when I would go out with the guys
and somebody been slurring.
No, no, that's trouble.
Yeah.
That's all that is, that's trouble.
Yeah, they never remember what happened the night before.
I'm nothing, cause I wasn't a part of it.
Gregory, Vini said, can I get a shout out,
feel like I got married today, love your show,
keep up the great work.
Hey, Greg, appreciate that.
Man, you should be shade.
I'll just send this one tomorrow and hopefully it'll be read on Sunday.
Uh, because I'm shaking the covers.
Hold on, he got married today?
Today!
And he ain't send nobody no invite?
Because I'm gonna shake the covers before the wedding, and after.
Shit.
You gonna shake the covers before you walk down the aisle, with your older son? You gonna have the white lady playing you were coming on the cup? You gonna shake the cup before you walk down the aisle to the
sand? You gonna have the white lady playing you were coming on the horse?
Who? Me? Yeah.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I'm uh, yeah.
You're stupid.
Hey, listen, I ain't play boy. She gonna hit every corner, every corner, every corner.
Before the wed?
Yeah, what? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Every corner. Yeah, you every corner. Before the wedding? Yeah, what?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Every corner, yeah.
Yeah, you got to.
Yeah, stop playing with me.
Sometimes you gotta stab this dominant
just to get him a better understanding
of what you're getting yourself into.
Yeah, it gonna be like this for the next 20.
Yeah, yeah, shit, make it 30.
I mean, it be a little long for you.
I'm thinking I'm somewhere around 20-something.
Right, right, right.
But they just see it. Right. Because I ain't gonna quit till little long for you. I'm thinking I'm somewhere around 20 something. But they just see it.
Cause I ain't gonna quit till they quit.
Yeah.
And low and he go, Mark's on me.
Yeah, you good?
Hold on, hold on.
You told me you had your eyes on something.
What that's looking like?
It look good, promising.
I feel like I'm an executive.
I got a promising lead on you.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hey, you're feeling like Columbo.
You got one more question.
Yeah, yeah, I got a promising lead.
Yeah, so I think this is the one right here.
Whoa, this the one?
Yeah.
Yeah?
OK, OK, OK.
What's the letter of her first name?
You start with M
Hey, I don't even know a name now that you mentioned it she ain't he told me
See if they do you ever think about that? Uh, do you ever think about the idea of soulmates from past lives?
Have you ever considered the possibility of meeting someone you knew in a past life?
No.
Absolutely not.
Great question, but absolutely not.
I mean, I ain't a liar.
I ain't thought about those.
I ain't never thought about spending a block, none of that.
Yeah, shoot.
I don't even know how to U-turn.
He he he he he he he.
Nah, nah, you didn't want me there, don't want me now.
And normally, you know, when they spin the block,
it's because whatever they thought was the better option,
it ain't work out, it ain't work out.
Oh, now you wanna come back?
Uh-uh, I'm good. Stay over there
Nah, nah, I'm good. Hey, you know, hey, you know that man put all the miles on that car
Yeah, that car. Hey, uh-uh at least when it was me. Okay, baby. It was two owners, right?
Right, I got my cellmate owners now. Oh, dude. Oh absolutely not bitch. That's a wrap. Bye
girl, girl, fuck you.
We think, you know what, on show,
we think alike with that.
Yeah.
And I ain't, mm-mm, nah, you can't put,
you can't sit me down and then go off
and do what you wanna do.
Right.
And then it don't work out with them over there.
And then you wanna, and you gonna come.
You think you can come back and pick me up?
Yeah, man, shh.
What?
This ain't the Bright Line, this ain't the Metro rail,
this ain't the Metro bus.
What you thought?
Boy, you listen, you get your ass off this goddamn train,
that bitch gonna keep going forward.
Now you fuck around and do the same,
you do the wrong motherfucking shit
while this bitch going forward
and then you gonna jump back on?
Yeah, all right.
You're okay.
A fool.
Yeah. To eat your zone though, hey, I ain't got no problem with it. That's what you want to do.
To each his own, have your thing, do your thing.
I mean, some people, hey, they can leave and then, hey, three, four years apart, they get
back together.
That ain't me.
Three, four, who?
Three, four years.
Boy, let's see, you got about three, four months.
Now, by hitting two months is it getting real sketchy?
J to 13 say hey, okay don't show thanks for the words yesterday. We found out we're having a baby girl
My question is what failure do you experience ended up being your greatest lesson?
They know failure bro, yeah, yeah, yeah, ain't no failure.
He's talking about, specifically about being a father. Just life, I think you're just talking
about life. Oh, life in general? Oh, okay, okay, okay. Yeah, something that didn't go the way you expected,
but it turned out being a great lesson. See, that's life in general, huh? Yeah, bro, you gotta take
them bumps and bruises. Yeah, everything's gonna be up, it's gonna be ups and downs.
Life, this is the greatest thing in life because you never know what to expect. And always expect the unexpected.
I think life would be perfect if this motherfucker came with a goddamn instruction booklet.
But it doesn't.
No.
And that's what makes life in general so great.
Damn.
That's a good question.
I like that. Hey there, it's Michael Lewis, author of Going Infinite, Moneyball, The Blind Side,

Danny said, Oh Joe concerning your now single, do you have any stories that you can share
with the fam that have otherwise maybe gotten you in trouble
a few months ago?
Love you, bro.
No, Ocho's working.
Ocho is, listen, now let me get this.
Let me get this.
Ocho is currently in therapy.
He's going to therapy once a week.
He's making great progress.
I can report that Ocho is a different person now
And so I'm happy that he's chosen this path
sometimes
You have to go blind in order for you to see
And so now I'm happy that uh
That New Orleans is to be off the chain.
You know, you're going to come out there, you know, we're going to have,
Ray will come out there for like 10, 15 minutes.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Let's reel it back in a little bit.
We got to have the Rayll report on Joe.
Wait a minute. Wait a minute.
Let's sit down and have a conversation because I got to have a conversation. Because I'm in a healing stage.
Now what I don't need us to do is while I'm in a healing stage,
is bring that back in the fold while I'm healing.
Because I can't put a bandaid on a gas and expect it to be healed by the time we get to February 6th.
Okay.
Okay.
So let me finish these therapy sessions and if I can withstand the visuals of that individual
being in my circumference and I'm comfortable because my anxiety bad.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

and I'd be like kind of stuttering
because I can't get the words out

The Rams got four field goals, but that was enough to beat the 49ers, 12 to 6, in a very
sloppy game. But the news out of the game was, uh, the bond rate Campbell told the team.
He did not want to play anymore.
And he left the game in the third quarter of tonight's game.
Kyle Shanahan said.
Travarious ward who the teammate spoke about the bond rate Campbell, leaving
the team in the middle of the game.
He's probably going to get cut.
Kyle Shanahan, RIP Campbell leaving the team in the middle of the game, he's probably gonna get cut. Kyle Shatterhead ripped Campbell after the 9ers lost. That's somebody who doesn't
want to play the game, plain and simple. Not a good look. I wish the young man all the
best, but that was a horrible, horrible decision that he made. Thank you guys for joining us.
I'm Unk, he's Ocho. Remember, we're off Saturday. Damn!
