See dkng.com slash promos for deposit, wagering and eligibility restrictions, terms and responsible gaming resources robert craft said the patriots did not lose out on calvin ridley because of finances he said it was made clear his girlfriend wanted to be in the south
Starting point is 00:03:02 man listen listen calvin really didn't want to go to the South. Man, listen. Listen. Calvin really didn't want to go to the Patriots. I love the Patriots. I love Robert Kraft. I love Gerard Mayo. There is no quarterback there. Hell, I don't believe they got one in Tennessee either. There is no quarterback.
Starting point is 00:03:16 They ain't got one in Tennessee either. Shit me. Let me ask you a question. Listen, if you see Will Levis throw, you will understand they have a quarterback that might not be suitable, comparable to the top three that's in the NFL. But you know someone, you got somebody there that can deliver that goddamn ball. And Calvin really knew that. Yeah, I think I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:03:40 I'm not arguing about that. I know what you mean, though. It's hard for me to believe that if Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes or one of these, even if it wasn't one of those guys, let's just say a quarterback somewhere between 12 and 15. It's hard for me to see a scenario, but he knows Bailey Zappi. He knows the people that were there.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Because at the end of the day, yes, I got X amount of dollars coming, but don't you know, I want to catch the ball. I don't want people to say I'm a buzz because my quarterback can't get me the ball. No, I ain't a buzz. I just don't have a guy that can get me the rock. And again, and also going to the Patriots,
Starting point is 00:04:16 you don't understand or know what type of offense that's coming up, what kind of offense they're going to run. And then the fact on top of that, there's no consistent quarterback play at the helm then i mean you already know what do you do from there so but no no no there's no disrespect to the patrons you know great organization great organization yeah i think he's from he's from some part of calum really from alabama and so alabama might not be that far from a drive from Nashville. I don't know what part of Alabama he's from,
Starting point is 00:04:48 but I'm assuming he is from Alabama. And Mr. Craft might have been making a joke. He might have been making a joke. He ain't Mr. Craft. I don't know if you bet. I'm sure you, I mean, you played this, so you know, he ain't a joke. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:03 I got you. He's from, oh type. Okay, okay. I got you. He's from... Oh, he's from Fort Lauderdale. Oh, he's from the crib. Is he? Oh, I'm tripping, man. Calvary, he's from the crib. I thought he was from Alabama. Now, that young boy from the crib, that's why he run them goddamn routes like that.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Oh, that's one thing. Them Alabama boys can run some routes. Them Alabama boys... Matter of routes. Them Alabama boys. Matter of fact, when you think about it, not as you just said it, when you think about it, Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Amari Cooper, Jerry Judy.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Talk to me. Who else? Who else? Oh, Devontae Smith. Devontae. Boy, route runners. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And boy, put him up and put him down, man. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:49 That's one thing they can do. They can run a route. Deontay Johnson joined the list of wide receivers to lead Pittsburgh after tumultuous season. The Steelers traded Deontay Johnson to the Panthers in exchange for quarterback Dante Jackson. Not every Steelers fan was ready to just let bygones be bygones. However, Johnson addressed the Steelers fans directly after continuing to receive negative comments on social media.
Starting point is 00:06:13 I love Pittsburgh, regardless of what happened. Y'all fans delusional. And I swear everything I tweet be about them. Y'all need y'all need to get a life. They finally got to me. they finally got to him they finally got to him you you know how a fan base can do you know how a fan base can do they can jump on you they can pile on you when you want to go to tweet your whole your whole timeline be just nothing but Steelers fans and at times it could be overwhelming and it can get to you so I understand I understand his frustrations.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I understand what he means, but I'm glad he said, I love Pittsburgh first. And at times fan can be delusional thinking my tweets or about them or where I just left from. Right. I, you know what I've been,
Starting point is 00:06:58 I've been really, I've been really, really blessed. I mean, I think the Cincinnati fans, they, they love you. They adore you.
Starting point is 00:07:04 They appreciate what you were able to do for them. I know I get think the Cincinnati fans, they love you. They adore you. They appreciate what you were able to do for them. I know I get that same love and adulation from the Broncos fans here. I mean, being in the city, all they want to ask about Shannon, we're going to win. Shannon, hey, Shannon, can you like it? Hey, Shannon can't come back and do nothing.
Starting point is 00:07:20 Y'all going to lose more with me out there than you losing right now. Matter of fact, I'm just curious, hypothetically speaking, what happens if things don't work out with Sean Payton and GM Mr. Lynch asks you to come be the head coach? No, George Patton is the GM for the Broncos. Okay. What if he asks you to come be the head coach?
Starting point is 00:07:42 The Walton-Penner family owns the Broncos. I don't want to be no coach. So you would turn down the job? Hell yeah. I've had the opportunity to be a... I mean, Mr. Bowling wanted me to come work for the Broncos. I don't want to work in no football capacity like that. No? Okay.
Starting point is 00:07:58 I'm just asking. I'm just asking. Okay. Now, back on the topic about this love thing. Obviously, the Broncos fan base loving you, Cincinnati. You know what I might be, I think, and I can honestly say this and, and, and speak truth to it. I meet might be one of the few players that is loved by all my division rival fans, including all the other teams in NFL. all the other teams in nfl yeah you i i can guarantee you that no i'm seriously like a a true genuine authentic love and appreciation for stealer fans brown fans who's the other team damn tripping pittsburgh ravens ravens oh the ravens fans love me ra me Ravens fans love me Hand down Because for one
Starting point is 00:08:45 I've never been disrespectful Ever I've always shown love And it was time to play I was strictly entertaining Strictly entertaining And I gave you Your money's worth
Starting point is 00:08:54 Especially if it was Playing at your home Yeah Rest of the league All fan bases love me I think everybody In the chat can agree with me They love me
Starting point is 00:09:01 If you know anybody That doesn't like me Let me know And we can have a face-to-face. They love me because I'll give them that work. They need to hate me. I want them to boo.
Starting point is 00:09:08 I want to say, Shannon, you suck. Don't worry about it. You won't be saying that after the game. Let's see if you still feel that way. Man, OJ, I remember when we played
Starting point is 00:09:17 the Patriots. Hey, and you know, we ran out of the field. The receivers group ran on the field and it was like, 85, you suck. You too sharp.
Starting point is 00:09:30 I said, okay. I want you to remember that. I want you to remember those words. I think Baltimore has a love-hate relationship. Maybe a lot of the younger fans don't realize that I played in Baltimore, and I had a great two years there. I loved every day of my time in Baltimore. I think Baltimore fans get mad at me when I say Lamar didn't play well.
Starting point is 00:09:55 And they want me to say that no matter what, no matter what Lamar does, Lamar can throw four interceptions. And the first day they say, hey, he was waiting for that to happen. You do realize I don't make a dime more
Starting point is 00:10:10 whether Lamar throws four interceptions or ten touchdowns. I don't get paid by the word. I get paid to do my job. And if Lamar plays well, I'm going to say Lamar plays well. And then it's like,
Starting point is 00:10:24 if I say Lamar plays well, I'm going to say Lamar plays well. And then it's like, you hate it. Oh, Joe, it's like, if I say Lamar played well, he don't mean it. He don't mean it. He don't mean it. Yeah. Hey, listen, you can't win for losing. You can't win for losing. So people got mad.
Starting point is 00:10:37 I said, okay, you guys have all I heard going into the championship game. And I picked Baltimore because I thought Baltimore, top to bottom, had the better roster, especially offensively. Okay, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs won. I said, Lamar didn't play well. It's okay, Ocho, to say Lamar Jackson in the championship game didn't play well. Right. Oh, that's all you've been on the
Starting point is 00:11:07 I said, hold on. When I said told a man, I don't believe he should change positions. I believe he should be a quarterback. All the good things that I said about Lamar because I don't say every single word out of my mouth. When Patrick Mahomes played bad this year,
Starting point is 00:11:23 you remember Ocho, I said Patrick Mahomes played bad this year you remember Ocho I said Patrick Mahomes is a part of the problem but they disregard that because you see Ocho and I get it they's like hold on Shannon there's only like six or seven black quarterback you gotta pick you gotta prop them up no matter what I say but how in good conscience do I keep my credibility people watch and see. Man, he ain't play well. And they're caping for the man. No, if he didn't play well, he didn't play well.
Starting point is 00:11:52 You got to say it. You got to say it. And speaking of, I got really good at doing that towards the end of the season. It pained me to do it, but I got much better at it so when football season come around this time
Starting point is 00:12:07 I got you I'm going to be listen I ain't even playing with them I'm on they ass excuse me they A double S the reason why Ocho you have credibility
Starting point is 00:12:23 those that can do those that can't talk about those that can't you did it you were a pro bowl player you were an all pro player so you know who's playing well who isn't that's all and see that was for the and I don't get it because here's the problem that I have with players players always say well you never played the game okay you and I both played the game you weren't any good
Starting point is 00:12:56 you and I were both good I was great but go ahead I say I was good I live with being good. Check the resume. Check the tape. What did you win?
Starting point is 00:13:09 Same thing. Right. You really want to ask me that question? Right, right. Damn, what if they ask me that? What am I going to say? I say I got that Hager jacket. And they've given out less than 500 of those Hager jackets.
Starting point is 00:13:23 Right, right. So now a player, because before, it was just when an analyst, a guy that never played, he's talking about a game. Well, you don't never play. You didn't never play. You don't understand. Not only did I play, I played an extremely long time. I played at a high level. I won at a high level.
Starting point is 00:13:44 I accomplished a lot. If I can't critique, if I can't talk about a player that's playing this game of football, who the hell can? Come on now. Put your dislike aside. Check my resume.
Starting point is 00:13:59 If I can't talk about a player that's playing in today's NFL, if Shannon shark can, where are we at? Where are we at? What are we doing? I like it. Shit.
Starting point is 00:14:13 I'm fine. I'm going to use that too. This week. I mean, this week I'm talking about football season. Check my resume. Check, check the tape.
Starting point is 00:14:21 Hey, I might not got no jacket. I made my own jacket. I ain't got no Superbowl. And I ain't, I ain't trying to hit none of that. Check the tape. I might not got no jacket. I made my own jacket. I ain't got no Super Bowl. And I ain't trying to hear none of that. Check the tape. I'm going to talk about you.
Starting point is 00:14:32 I'm going to tell you when you're wrong, you're wrong. Yeah, I'm ready. I'm ready. Resume complete. I'm ready. Devontae Adams may have made his preference clear when it comes to team option in the first round of the 2024 draft in an Instagram story, Adam shared a photo of LSU quarterback, Jane Daniels with an accompanying quote from the Heisman trophy winner saying my resume speaks for itself.
Starting point is 00:14:55 As it does. The Raiders are sitting at the, on the number 13th pick a point. They're not getting him at the 13th pick. So if you're trying to land one of those top quarterbacks, uh, uh, Jane Daniels, Caleb Williams, Drake made JJ McCartney. him as the 13th pick so if you're trying to land one of those top quarterbacks uh jane daniels caleb williams drake may jj mccarthy mccarthy might be there although we're going to talk about him a little later uh but the espn is reporting that the raiders have been strongly
Starting point is 00:15:17 linked to a big jump up the draft boards devontae adams look he came to the Raiders because his former college quarterback, Derek Carr. Derek Carr. Also, not was he just his quarterback, he was a best friend. Yeah. Yeah. In college.
Starting point is 00:15:35 He started at Fresno State now. Yes. And no matter what you thought about Derek Carr, his first season, Devontae Adams' first season with the Raiders, he was the first team all pro. He had 1,500 yards per season. his first season, Devontae Adams' first season with the Raiders, he was the first team all pro. He had 1,500 yards per season.
Starting point is 00:15:54 Devontae Adams also knows that his success is predicated on the quarterback. I play a dependent position. So it doesn't do me any good to run the best routes, and I'm as good a route runner as we have in the league if the quarterback doesn't get me the ball. I run the route, beat my man, he skipped the ball to me. I run my route, beat the man, he sailed the ball over my head. I run
Starting point is 00:16:14 my route and he doesn't find me. So he's saying, bro, y'all got to get me somebody here. Y'all got to age. And I think it's possible and i think it's i think i think we never know what's going to happen on draft day there's all these these all there's all these mock drafts but you never know because certain teams can come up and screw up
Starting point is 00:16:37 everything they can screw up everything there might be a player you want and a trade might happen and it messes up your plan and you got to have a plan b true but the raiders do need a quarterback and if they're able to get from 13 to 2 you know i mean you just you just never know you just never definitely gonna have to go up you're gonna have to you're gonna have to mortgage you're gonna have to mortgage your future oh a lot because if you do jump that high, you are saying, okay, Jalen Daniels is the quarterback
Starting point is 00:17:09 for the future for the next decade. Think about what the 49ers gave up. You swap positions and you give up two first-round picks. That's what they gave up for Lance. Trey Lance. I think they went from 12 to 3 right so you're talking about 13 to 2 you're gonna have to give up at least that
Starting point is 00:17:34 ash if you can pull up we'll see what the uh 49ers gave up to get to zoom up the draft board to uh select trey Trey Lance at three. But I know Devontae got some years in it. He's not slowing down. He just needs somebody to get him the ball. That's what he needs. Man, can you imagine Devontae and Green Bay with Jordan Love and those receivers? That'd be nice.
Starting point is 00:18:08 That would be nice. But I like the way the situation is right now, you know, with Devontae being in Las Vegas. I almost said Oakland. Being in Las Vegas because what Jordan Love has with those young receivers over there is something special. Them boys are something special, man. They something special.
Starting point is 00:18:30 And they going to be even better next year. Okay. Ocho, they gave up. Okay. The 49ers acquired the third pick in exchange to the Dolphins. So they went from 12 to 3, which I thought. In the first round, so they gave up. They swapped positions.
Starting point is 00:18:48 So they gave up first and the third in 22 and the first round in 23. So you're going to have to give up at least that. Yeah, I mean, they will. And it's not a problem. Because think about if anybody, if anybody complaining about what Kansas City gave Buffalo to get Mahone Boy, ain't nobody going to ever say a word. Because there's not a number, there's not a price that's too high.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Kansas City would have been willing to give up five first-round picks to get Mahone Boy. If they knew he was going to turn out like that, yeah. Especially if you know. Sometimes you never don't but the way it turned out you don't you don't know because if they'd have thought my homeboys would have been like that they'd have gave up even more to move up to number one pick and take him number one overall bring her here so all right yeah so uh uh that'll be very interesting and uh davante i, I want Devontae to get him a quarterback out there in Oakland, in Las Vegas. Jim Harbaugh has been pumping up J.J. McCarthy's stock
Starting point is 00:19:54 to boost the Chargers draft pick. Harbaugh's been out of the professional game for a long time, but he's not stupid. He understands that his name and his opinion holds a lot of influence in many football circles. And the Chargers don't need a new quarterback. They have Justin Herbert. It will be a big
Starting point is 00:20:12 break for the Chargers because the Chargers pick fifth overall if somebody you know, if J.J. McCarthy went four. Why would the Cardinals take J.J.arthy at four when you got all that money tied up in calum murray yeah yeah that makes that that makes that makes no sense
Starting point is 00:20:32 but oh you know what i have i find puzzling to me how guys stop rise when they don't play right jj mccarthy has not played a game in two and a half months so what has he done from that time that he hasn't played through his the draft comp to the draft process that causes because i didn't hear anybody say that he was a top five pick at no point during the season right i mean i think it's more so male kuiper I think it's more so Mel Kiper. I think it's more so the experts that continue to talk about him. The people that have
Starting point is 00:21:09 seen him throw. He did throw at... He threw at his pro day. He threw at his pro day at Michigan. He threw at the combine is what I was trying to say. I think seeing him
Starting point is 00:21:19 throw at the combine, even though it's in shorts and shirts and it really gives you no really intel on how good he really is but the resume the resume the college film it does speak for itself it speaks for itself they they were they were more of a running team at michigan so i'm i'm i'm curious as to how it would translate to the nfl being that we are a pass happy yes super pass
Starting point is 00:21:47 happy league but i mean from what i see from with the naked eye he looks like he can throw the ball but you never know how that's going to work or transition into the nfl because it's a whole different ball that's what i'm saying that's what i'm saying i'm like i just didn't see enough. And I'm not saying that he can't be good, but I just didn't see enough throws. Right. To convince me that he's a top four pick. A top five. You know who did look good? That goddamn Mike Penix Jr.
Starting point is 00:22:20 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Woo! Yeah. Young boy. And he ran that fo-fo was he was accurate with the ball but they might hold his age against him because i think he's like 24 25 he's bad or good uh oh joe you know what an old age in any sport is bad hold on hold on you know when it when it comes to the quarterback position now you can play damn near to your 50 with these rules they got today. It just got a little easier, too. Oh, yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:22:47 Yeah. Did he play baseball first? He played baseball first? When will he be 24, Ash? He's going to be 24 May 8th. Okay. Let me see. 10 years, maybe 34.
Starting point is 00:23:04 I mean, that ain't bad that ain't bad I don't think did he play baseball he a baseball player he started out in Indiana and he got hurt he had some injuries
Starting point is 00:23:11 that's right shoulders okay okay okay he'd be 24 he'd be 24 wake up with football every morning and listen to my new podcast

I think I just genuinely loved what I did. and other women's sports are growing and changing, and what the future holds. I think I just genuinely loved what I did.
Starting point is 00:25:31 I loved this waking up, putting on my sports gear. I still believe it was so rewarding. Maybe you can relate to it as well. As a woman, I think it's a very powerful feeling to have a job at which you're able to see improvements in real time. Starting point is 00:25:57 Listen to the Renee Stubbs Tennis Podcast every Monday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports. Dan Campbell is glad Justin Fields has left the division. The Bears traded quarterback Justin Fields and the coach of Chicago's top rivals is happy to see Fields leave. I'm not going to lie. It's nice to have Fields out of that division. Well, Campbell might not be thrilled
Starting point is 00:26:29 with his replacement. Well, if you're happy, if you're happy, Justin Fields is gone and then you got Caleb Williams coming into town who was probably going to... I'm going to ask,
Starting point is 00:26:42 what was Dan Campbell's record against the bear because sometimes people just say stuff like that oh you know i'm saying yes just to be saying now watch you watch you probably got what you got like a a five in one record against justin fields well he would he what he that was his third year right no uh yeah yeah i think he's heading into his fourth year yeah he's heading into his fourth year but I thought Justin Fields would have been unbelievable
Starting point is 00:27:14 in Atlanta and I still don't understand Atlanta Atlanta didn't want a 26 year old Lamar Jackson for $260 million, but you give $200-plus million to a guy coming off an Achilles injury that's 10 years older. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:35 You know what's funny? I think Kirk Cousins might be 24. It may be 34. Yeah. When we were talking about Lamar and people not wanting him and all that stuff I think that was all smoke and mirrors honestly I think it was all smoke and mirrors until they got the job done behind
Starting point is 00:27:53 closed doors with Baltimore because when you think about Baltimore the first thing you think about is Lamar Jackson Lamar Jackson is Baltimore Lamar Jackson is the offense so there was no way they were starting over and letting him walk or go anywhere all you gotta do is put those two first rounders
Starting point is 00:28:10 on the table and make them make a choice see now nobody put those two first rounders on the table Baltimore get to sit in the catbird seat because maybe they felt like man ain't nobody gonna pay Lamar ain't nobody gonna give up two first rounders which is this year and next year and and pay him what he's going to want to get paid.
Starting point is 00:28:30 And for a free agent, Ocho, I like to get my free agents. I ain't got to give up no draft capital. I just got to give up capital, but not draft capital. So now I got to give up draft capital and I got to compensate it. So now I got to give up draft capital and I got to compensate it. Now it would have been well worth it because I don't care what they do.
Starting point is 00:28:51 Cousins is not a better quarterback than Lamar Jackson at any price. I think he's good. But he ain't Lamar. So some of the things Campbell is 3-3 against Justin Fields. See like some of the stuff campbell is three and three against uh justin field see like some of the stuff doesn't make sense to me like tennessee you wouldn't pay aj brown who's probably if he's not if i'm not mistaken i think he's younger than calvin ridley you wouldn't pay him wait but you pay calvin rid who's older. Make it make sense
Starting point is 00:29:26 Ocho. I think there might have been some personal issues going on inside that we just didn't know about where he asked to be let go or just. Nah, I think he said he thought you know, he wanted this and but okay, you know, maybe they say, well, we didn't have to give up anything.
Starting point is 00:29:41 We got Calvin Ridley. We just had to pay him. So I'm glad Calvin Ridley. We just had to pay him. So I'm glad Calvin Ridley was able to land on his feet. He went to Jacksonville, got traded to Jacksonville from Atlanta, had the one year in Atlanta. I think he'll be even better this year after being away from the game.
Starting point is 00:29:57 Because he was really away from the game for two years. Because remember Ocho, he missed his high and took away the entire season to deal with some mental issues. And then he went to Jacksonville. No, he missed his high and took away the entire season to deal with some mental issues. And then he went to Jacksonville. No, he got suspended. He got suspended in Atlanta and got traded. But I think he missed like two years.
Starting point is 00:30:16 Or at least a year and a half. I think the season was already in. I'm not sure how early in the season he got suspended with the betting stuff. But he missed the whole season with that. Yeah, he did. But he came back and hit the ground running like he missed a beat. So, I mean, coming back this year, he's going to be even better.
Starting point is 00:30:34 Ocho, Ocho, this might be one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard. Uh-oh. 7-Eleven is reportedly releasing a hot dog flavored water. Hey, I wonder if anybody in the chat
Starting point is 00:30:53 actually knows what hot dog flavored water tastes like. Now, I know what it looks like. I know what it smells like. But I've never tasted the hot dog water after eating the glizzy. Never ever. Oh, Joe. Growing up,
Starting point is 00:31:10 I just, who's coming up with these creative concoctions is what I want to know. Who drinks the hot dog water in the first place? I'm thinking. Now, you know,
Starting point is 00:31:21 they pay a lot of money for R&D, research and development. Who's sitting in there and say, you know, they pay a lot of money for R&D, research and development. Sitting in there and say, you know what? Guys, I got an idea. There's a market that's untapped. It is untapped. We can be the first into it.
Starting point is 00:31:37 We can be the first into it. What is it? What is it? What is it, Stingy? Hot dog flavored water. Oh, boy, that's a good one. Oh, I don't know. And I think it was only
Starting point is 00:31:51 it's the shock value of it in itself is probably going to sell because of the shock value of it being hot dog flavored water. You know how many people are going to try to create content just to taste hot dog flavored water for content purposes how many people are going to try to create content just to taste hot dog flavored water? No.
Starting point is 00:32:07 For content purposes? No. No. What about bologna flavored ice cream? Exactly. You see what you just did? You see what you just did?
Starting point is 00:32:19 Yeah. You see what you just did? Not even knowing it. I'm with you. I'm knowing it. I'm with you. I'm with you. I'm with you. Come on, Ocho. Something needs to be left
Starting point is 00:32:30 in its original form. Yeah. Yeah. But again, stuff like this, when it comes to R&D, things that are untapped, you know how we are as a society.
Starting point is 00:32:44 I got to be first to do this because there's something new. Oh, I got to create content. Let me put this on TikTok. Don't somebody got a a hoo-ha perfume? A perfume that smell like the hoo-ha? Smell like the hoo-ha in a in a bottle and be able to sell it
Starting point is 00:33:12 the same way you get you get a hot dog flavor water yeah but that ain't i don't know dang i need i need that that's not authentic somebody was selling somebody somebody was smelling body uh i don't know was it er I need, that's not authentic. Somebody was selling somebody, somebody was smelling body, I don't know, was it Erykah Badu? Who, somebody, I know somebody, somebody famous
Starting point is 00:33:31 was selling something. Either it was a, maybe it was a candle. Ash, look that up. I know I, I know I, oh Joe, I know I ain't losing my mind.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Somebody was selling a scented candle that smelled like their body odor. There's something. Really? Damn, I ain't heard about that one. Ocho, actually, people have been balling their farts
Starting point is 00:33:56 and selling them. You busting it? You dropping bombs around everybody? Why not? Nah, I don't want that. Selling their bath water? Man, people freaky. Man, people freaky.
Starting point is 00:34:14 I didn't realize how freaky people was, but people weird. Is it really freaky? Because we are. We are. We are humans. Selling dirty underwear. Dirty.
Starting point is 00:34:29 Dirty. They say they want them. They want people be buying period panties. For real? Don't nobody want to know. Give my drawers. Don't they? Don't you try to get into the market. Let the my draws. So don't, don't, don't, don't you try to get into the market?
Starting point is 00:34:46 Let the women out. I mean, no, I use baby wipes. I ain't got them. Hey, what, what celeb was selling their body odor as a candle or something?
Starting point is 00:34:56 Maybe it was, maybe it was Gwyneth Paltrow. Maybe it was, but it was somebody. Gwyneth, Gwyneth Paltrow. Huh? Then what were they selling?
Starting point is 00:35:12 Somebody said it was, was it Erykah Badu? Gwyneth Paltrow was selling, or sending, somebody was selling candles with body odor with their body scent or something.
Starting point is 00:35:22 Somebody said it was Erykah Badu. Gwyneth Paltrow sold a vagina candle. Oh, a vagina candle. It smelled like a hoo-ha, right? Well, why would her... Well, that don't make no sense
Starting point is 00:35:37 because why would her hoo-ha actually have a scent? It smelled good or bad. It smelled something. You know? You know, I like... Hey, you know what I'm saying, Ocho? I tell people all the time, who I like to fear.
Starting point is 00:35:49 It get bigger and better every year. That's what I'm looking for, Ocho. That's all I've been trying to tell me, now. I'm just saying, it's the fear. It get bigger and better every year. Hey, I got Hey Hey somebody in the chat
Starting point is 00:36:07 Send me See if they can get me That candle man So I can see what it smell like Erykah Badu So incense That said Badu
Starting point is 00:36:17 Hoo ha And I said Hoo ha And so When that thing burn That thing all get out of hand Yeah I like that I don't I. Yeah, I like that. I don't like incense.
Starting point is 00:36:27 That's weird, but that's dope. That's a good idea, especially for her. That fits her whole spiel, her whole machine. I mean, yeah, but who would have come into the house and God, can't make this man smell like... You know what?
Starting point is 00:36:44 It's hard to talk about it unless you actually smell it to try it so i i really tried to walk in no house and it smelled like hoo-ha well it depends on how the man is hoo-ha now as long as i look i ain't saying you know she's been working out like she's been doing three hours on the bike right right right like that i. It smelled like bunions. You know what I'm saying, Ocho? Yeah, I know what you mean, but I'm sure it's... Yeah, I know what you mean.
Starting point is 00:37:11 Yeah, baby. Listen, if you're selling it, I'm sure it's a delightful smell. How about that? When a palthouse sold a vagina candle, yes, it smelled like a hoo-ha. I'm not saying it smelled like her hoo-ha, but that's what the scent was supposed to be.
Starting point is 00:37:30 Well, if her name is on it, then it would have to be comparable. She said, this smells like my vagina. Okay. Okay. Chat, I need you to do me a favor.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Yeah, somebody send me one. I just want one. Okay, okay. Chat, I need you to do me a favor. Buy it. Yeah, somebody send me one. I just want one. Now, see? Just one. Now, see? Now, you die. Now, real.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Gonna say, you know, now you're gonna have to wear glasses on nightcap for real. No, I mean, I'm just curious because I've never come into these type of products before. No. I've never seen these type of products. So, I think it's just interesting.
Starting point is 00:38:07 I ain't going to lie to you. I'm not curious. Just for research purposes. I ain't trying to research it. All right. I got you. I got you. Something, you know.
Starting point is 00:38:18 I got you. Oh, Joe, everything, you know, everything is not, shouldn't be brought to the market. Right. But if, well, hell, we got hot dog water. Again, that shouldn't be brought to the market right but if well hell we got hot dog water ain't again that shouldn't be brought to the market it's probably gonna sell well too like so simply because of what it is all right don't show you gotta keep talking hold hold the chat all right chat um i'm not sure what you guys want to talk about. Um, I'm leaving town tomorrow. I'm flying into Houston. If anybody is in a chat from Houston, if you'd like to tweet me some, um,
Starting point is 00:38:51 some places I can, I can go eat. Um, that would be, that would be nice. Um, anybody in the chat that is from Houston that would like to hang out and, you know, have dinner with me tomorrow. My treat. Uh, we, we can all go or have a good time. We could talk about the show. Um,
Starting point is 00:39:12 we could discuss life, uh, anything else going on. I'd be more than happy. I could be a therapist. I could be a counselor at the time. And I think that'd be pretty cool to meet some of you that are in houston that are in the chat and that's pretty much it i'm going to i'm going to sneak up on my daughter i know she's not watching i know she's asleep because she has
Starting point is 00:39:34 class tomorrow she goes to prayer view a&m okay so that's pretty much it we get that next segment uh yesterday at uh at an event at one of the liquor stores that I was making an appearance at doing some bottle signing I saw a dude Ocho I probably whenever he was in training camp
Starting point is 00:39:51 I think it was about 11 we used to train we used to go to training camp up in Greeley Ocho his mom would drop him off at like 8.30
Starting point is 00:40:04 he would watch the practice you know and I went over there one day would drop him off at like 8.30. He would watch the practice. And I went over there one day, I was signing cards. And every day, Ocho, he have a card. I told him, I said, I ain't signing another card until you bring me a card. So for every card that I sign for you, you've got to bring me a card. So every card
Starting point is 00:40:21 that I got, and I don't have them all obviously but he brought them to me but i saw him yesterday but his mom used to drop him off at training camp he watched practice you know i let him come in the locker room i bring him in the locker room bring him into the meeting rooms we go eat he walked he walked me to the cafeteria. He would go do what he do, probably go get something to eat. We come back out to go back to practice. He's out there. He's out there. I bring him back
Starting point is 00:40:52 into the locker room. We had the cold tub. He's just standing around. We go in the weight room. I'm working out. He's standing there. He's still there now. We go eat. We got probably an hour, hour and a half. Then we go to meetings.
Starting point is 00:41:07 He walked me to the meeting room talking. 9.30, we come out of meetings. He's still there. He's still there. He's like 11, 12. He did this. But he did this from like 93. I mean, obviously, he grew.
Starting point is 00:41:24 I mean, he's grown now. He grew up. I mean, he grown. They got kids of his own. And he had his son there and he was telling him. And he was just he was just like the coolest kid, man. He was just like it was just, you know, and I know his friends was jealous. You know, he was like he tell the story. They didn't believe it. He's like, hey, he's like, tell him, tell him me.
Starting point is 00:41:42 You mean you could. Yeah, that's my boy. Come on. Man, it was great to see him. Let's laugh. Let's do it. Ocho, now it's time for your favorite, favorite, favorite segment. And it's called
Starting point is 00:41:56 Spello Cinco. Ocho. Oh, Joe. Oh, yeah. The first word is very easy. This is probably going to be the easiest word that you have to spell. And it's when someone has difficulty breathing or they can have exercise-induced asthma. Your word is asthma. Well, asthma is easy.
Starting point is 00:42:33 A-S-T-H-M-A. A-S-T-H-M-A. A-S-T... Now, try... Ocho, there you go. Now, we can see you typing because I can see it in the back. Yes, yes, Ocho, I'm looking.
Starting point is 00:42:46 I'm looking at you. I can see it. You're looking at my computer system through my glasses. You type in the word Ocho. I can see it in your glasses. Yes. Can you see?
Starting point is 00:42:56 Yes, we can. That's not my... Hold on, let me turn my computer around because you're going to tell me what I'm doing. Hold on, hold on. Hold on. It's my PC set up. You can see it through my glasses right now.
Starting point is 00:43:08 Look. Look through my glasses. Look through my glasses. We see you type it on your phone. You type it on your phone, Ocho. Oh, now you blaming my phone. I can see it in your glasses. The chat can see it.
Starting point is 00:43:23 You are looking at my PC. I'll tell you what the chat said. Now, they're lying. Chat. Well, how the chat gonna tell me I'm looking on my phone? I'm looking right at the damn computer. Hold on. You gonna listen to the chat instead of me? Yeah. Chat, what you think,

Starting point is 00:44:52 But I think you spelled it right. I didn't quite hear it, but... I know I spelled it right. And you can't see... And I purposely stared in the camera so nobody can see nothing. There we go. Now we can see your eyes. No, no, no, no. We want to see your eyes we go. Now we can see your eyes.
Starting point is 00:45:06 No, no, no, no. We want to see your eyes. No, we want to see your eyes. Your eyes. Just for this last word. The last word. The lights are too bright. The last word is conscientious. Conscientious. C-O-N

Starting point is 00:46:20 Was a Pharaoh. Oh, spell Pharaoh. Let my people go. Hey, you know what? Pharaoh is a tricky word to. Now that I think about it. I'm just, I'm going to wing this one.
Starting point is 00:46:47 Pharaoh. P-H-A R-O-A-H. Nope. How bad was I off? You missed it. You put the A and the O in the wrong spot. P-H-A-R-A-O-H. Well, I mean, man, can I get some credit at least?
Starting point is 00:47:10 I just flipped two letters. You spelled it wrong. That means you spelled it wrong. How about this here? Okay, here's this one. This was easy. Okay, now stop saying it easy. Stop saying it easy.
Starting point is 00:47:24 It should be easy for a Spelling Bee champ. No, for the catch. Yeah, I was... Listen, I was a Spelling Bee champ back in 1987. You know, things... Okay, how about this here? Silhouette. S-I-L-O-H-O-U-E-T-T-E.

Starting point is 00:48:21 What? Troubadour. Troubadour. True. Troubadour. Troubadour. True. Troubadour. T-U-T- I'm going to just spell it how it sounds. I know there's probably some silent letter in there somewhere. Troubadour.
Starting point is 00:48:36 T-R-U-B-I-D-O-R. Close. Damn! No, you weren't. T-R-O-U-B-A-D-d-o-u-r now you come on now you knew i won't all right come on man come on okay okay here's this uh you knew i wasn't gonna get that how about this year about this here? Starting point is 00:52:59 All right, Ocho. We're not going to count the bonus questions. You were three for two. You got three right, Ocho. We're not going to count the bonus questions. You were three for two. You got three right, missed two. Now is your time to ask me these hard-ass questions. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, I hope you ain't had no preparation or nothing. So I really, I wasn't that bad tonight on the show.
Starting point is 00:53:22 No, you weren't. You weren't that bad tonight, Ocho. Yeah. And I hope the chat ain't laughing because y'all ain't know them damn words either. OK, here we go. Here we go. Here we go. Chat, we're going to get on tonight, baby. We're going to open five over five. Question number one. Only one. Quarterback NFL history has started their career
Starting point is 00:53:45 with three straight 4,000-yard seasons. Name that quarterback. If you need a hint, let me know. If you struggle, I'll give you a hint. Only one quarterback in NFL history has started their career with three straight 4,000-yard seasons. If you struggle with this,
Starting point is 00:54:04 I'm going to give you a hint. I'm going to say... I see you playing the drums in the air. Look, I want to say this, but I think he came up short one year. Oh, man. I'm going... Hey, Chad,
Starting point is 00:54:24 he doing it again. Justin Herbert. Oh, shit! No'm going... Hey, Chad, he doing it again. Justin Herbert. Oh, shit! You be kidding me with that shit. Hey! I got it! I got it! I got it! He wanted me to say Patrick Mahomes so bad.
Starting point is 00:54:39 You wanted me to say Mahomes so bad. Man, listen. You do that every time acting like you don't know and just all of a sudden, you just be knowing the answer every time. But here's the thing. The reason why I went with Justin Herbert and not Patrick Mahomes
Starting point is 00:54:54 is you remember there was a stretch that Patrick Mahomes hurt his knee and he missed like three games. So that's why I was like, Herbert. Nah, I ain't buying that cause Patrick Mahomes could throw for 4,000 on one leg but alright
Starting point is 00:55:10 question number two after we were cheated chat on the first one which HBCU has had the most players selected in the NFL draft Savannah State no has had the most players selected in the NFL draft?
Starting point is 00:55:29 Savannah State. No. It's one of these two schools. Both of them is Louisiana. I'm going to go Grambling. Fuck, man. You got that correct. That is correct.
Starting point is 00:55:48 Grambling State has 133 players into the draft. And the HBCU that is second is Tennessee State with 122 players. I thought it would have been Southern. Yep. Tennessee State.
Starting point is 00:56:03 Okay. Okay. You two... You two for 2-0 right now. Last season, Miles Garrett set an NFL record for most sacks before their 28th birthday with 82. Their previous record was 80, held by which Hall of Famer
Starting point is 00:56:20 who is currently top five all-time in sacks? Oh, my goodness. Yep. The previous record was 80. It's either one or two guys. By a Hall of Famer who is currently top five all time in sex.
Starting point is 00:56:42 Reggie White. Reggie White. All right. Hey, man. Like your question is so easy and my spelling question. Oh, Joe, you the spelling bee champ. I am. All right, here we go Shit Number four
Starting point is 00:57:09 Who are the Giants' all-time leading receiver in yards? Oh my goodness I have no idea I'm just gonna go out on a limb I'm gonna say Amani Toomer Oh, see I'm right, Ocho Ocho, you're. Oh, I see. I'm right on, too. Oh, you're not right.
Starting point is 00:57:28 Hey, see, you done got briefed. You done got briefed on these questions, man, because there ain't no way in hell. Oh, Joe, first of all, I just got to my room. Why you think we had to start late? I just got back to my hotel room at 745.
Starting point is 00:57:44 I had to shower, tried to grab a bite to eat. Nah, I ain't buying, I ain't buying, I ain't buying. That what I looking for. All right, here we go. Guess the player. I'm top 20 in rushing yards. I played on two teams. I played at the University of Washington. I played at the University of Washington.
Starting point is 00:58:09 If you need a hint, he once held the record for most rushing yards in a game with 278. Oh, Corey Dillon. Hey, that's not my man. That is correct. Corey Dillon who has he broke actually he broke Walter Payne's record
Starting point is 00:58:29 Walter Payne had the record of 275 I think he did that like on either Christmas or Thanksgiving Day that is correct you went 5 for 5 tonight Corey Dillon has 11,241 rushing yards yeah some yeah we got him yeah I'm up Corey Dillon has 11,241 rushing yards. Yeah, we got him.
Starting point is 00:58:49 Yeah, I'm up. Ocho, you do realize that somebody would feed me the answer. You could hear them also, right? Nah, nah, nah. They probably got like a little race board back there. They just hold it up back there and give you the answer. Something ain't right. I went perfect five for Ocho. I'm the perfect
Starting point is 00:59:07 to go five for five. I feel good. I feel vindicated. It's cool. It's cool. It's cool. The people in the chat, I know y'all know something's up in that chat. Who? Yours? Check this out. Ocho
Starting point is 00:59:23 is time for our last segment of the night I stayed on here a lot longer because I got a week I got a car picking me up at 4 15 q and a all right Stephanie Warfield said hey Shannon O. We already had no sugar on grist debate. How about cornbread? Sweet, unsweetened or a little touch of sugar homemade or from the box? Listen, hot water cornbread. It has a little sugar in it. You have to make it. You have to. Yeah, you can't have no you can't have no cornbread without sugar being in there at some point. You got to make it like that. I mean, I like my cornbread with actual pieces of corn in it. You know what I'm saying, Ocho? Yeah, I know what you're talking about.
Starting point is 01:00:14 And I love the blueberry cornbread. That's good like that. I prefer no corn in there, but I will eat it, but I prefer without it. What about blueberry cornbread? No, sir. No, sir. I mean, I I will eat it, but I prefer it without it. What about blueberry cornbread? No, sir. No, sir. I mean, I've never tried it. I'm just being honest. I never tried it. Starting point is 01:00:51 Stephanie Warfield also said, we have imposters in the chat posing as Lainey and Faith. Has anyone ever tried to pose as you? Have you ever worn a disguise to hide from the public? No. I don't. I. I don't. I just, I don't use my, I don't use my name normally when I'm checking in a hotel. I've never had to disguise. Don't nobody know me no way when I'm in public.
Starting point is 01:01:16 No. Lanny Ray, what's your guilty pleasure song or band that you don't want anyone else to know you listen to? My two are Huey Lewis in the News and Rick Ansley. I wouldn't say it's... I wouldn't want people to know I listen to them, but I like Hooverstank.
Starting point is 01:01:37 Who? Hooverstank. Okay, I heard of them, but... Hooverstank, Maroon 5. Those are some two bands. I love their music. Hooverstank and Maroon 5. I probably throw Kid Rock in there too.

Starting point is 01:07:18 Where the bar at? I'm picking Pac-Man. I'm picking Pac-Man. Yeah, me and Pac-Man. Me and Pac-Man. I'm picking Pac-Man. Yeah, me and Pac-Man. Me and Pac-Man going to walk through that thing. We're going to molly-wop everybody, boy. I like that.
Starting point is 01:07:33 Yeah, me and Pac. I'm going with Burns. I mean, I got a couple of homeboys, Bucket. I got a couple of homeboys I can trust, Foots. But, hey, I'm going to ride with Burns. I need to know where the bar is, though. Where the bar? Burns.
Starting point is 01:07:54 Where Burns at? Tennessee State, coaching with Eddie. Yeah. Okay, T, say, y'all ever experienced racism playing against the Patriots? I haven't. Shoot, I can't. I can't. I haven't.

Starting point is 01:08:30 Was it Fulham? Farmington? Farmington. Did you stay in Farmington? No. That's not the name of it. I know the name when I hear it, but it was close. Very close. I didn't even go down to Boston. I don't... That's a long drive.
Starting point is 01:08:45 William Watson says, what's your favorite pregame meal after a big loss? Are you still shaking the covers? Yeah, I'm going to win something tonight. You know what I'm saying? I might have lost earlier today, but I'm going to win tonight.
Starting point is 01:08:59 What's my favorite pregame meal? I ate the same thing. I ate French toast with bananas cut, no syrup, egg whites, oatmeal, glass of orange juice, and two glasses of water.
Starting point is 01:09:17 Listen, my pregame meal is documented on YouTube, McDonald's, hotcakes with sausage, sausage egg with muffin. How you got that on the road? McDonald's. McDonald's is everywhere we travel to. No, you had somebody get it.
Starting point is 01:09:39 No, in the morning, you know you can leave your hotel, right? And I'm just going to get my breakfast and prepare myself and get ready for my game. Wasn't a problem. And back then, oh my God, back then when I was playing, that's when McDonald's had the cinnamon rolls. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:55 I know you remember. I'm sure, Chad, y'all remember them cinnamon rolls? I'm not talking about the cinnamon melt, not the cinnamon. Hey, will you be in Florida for your bottle signing? Yeah, will you be in? Absolutely. Once we get activated in Florida, we're trying to activate Texas, Florida,
Starting point is 01:10:38 Louisiana, Virginia, New York, California. What's the other state? Well, shoot, I'm glad you activating in Florida. I'm coming to. Yeah, for sure. I'll be your security.
Starting point is 01:10:54 Gabriel Morales said a friend of mine falling for another girl. She's married and falling for my friend. And he's a he's in a four year relationship. How should he handle the situation? He needs advice from the love doctors. Hold on, let me hear how I'm sharing this with you. A friend of mine is falling for another girl. She's married and falling for my friend
Starting point is 01:11:17 and he's in a four-year relationship. Wow, that sounds like a lifetime. Yeah. Hold on. A friend of mine is falling for another girl. And the girl happens to be married. She's married. She's married and falling for my friend.
Starting point is 01:11:41 And he's in a four-year relationship. So, are we talking about, is this three people here? Because he says he has a friend that's falling for another girl. The chick that he's falling for is married. And he already got a girlfriend of four years.
Starting point is 01:12:02 And my friend, he's in a four-year relationship. Oh, I get it now. He's falling for a chick that's married, and he's already in a relationship. Hmm. So that means... How do you get that?
Starting point is 01:12:17 Hold on. First of all, and to get to the point where you can fall for somebody, because you can't fall for somebody unless, you know what I'm saying, Ocho? They had to trip your ass. Yeah, yeah. Or you begin tripped at home.
Starting point is 01:12:31 It's easy to fall when you're getting tripped at home. So, how should he have the situation? Man, listen here, man. If he falling, the situation sounds like if he falling, the situation...
Starting point is 01:12:46 She's married, Ocho. And he's in a four-year relationship. See, TJ Holmes was married too. Both of them was married. Amy Robach was married too. Well, it's the same situation. Yeah. Basically.
Starting point is 01:13:01 Both of them were married, yes. Well, this is damn near the same scenario. So they should just be together and forget their spouses? Because you know it's been reported that the spouses, TJ Holmes and Amy Robach's spouses are linked together now.
Starting point is 01:13:19 Right. I don't want that. I don't do that. No. This is out of my area of expertise. Yeah, bro. It's out of my area of expertise. The way I look at it, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:13:35 That's too much confusion. As a matter of fact, what he should do, what they should do, is be together. Always be with the second one. Because if you love the first one, there wouldn't be a second one. I'm going to move on. I'm going to move on.
Starting point is 01:13:49 No, no, no. Ocho, I'm moving on, Ocho. I'm moving on. I'm moving on. That was a good one. Stephen Shabir said, hey, Ocho, asking for prayer from everyone. My father is fighting for his life in the hospital. Stephen, thank you for watching us.
Starting point is 01:14:03 We will send a prayer out to your father. Wish you and your family all the best. Stay prayed up, and all the best come to you, bro. I'm sorry for what you're fighting through, but keep on fighting, bro. And hopefully all your prayers, all our prayers will be answered.

Starting point is 01:14:34 to any and everybody it's enough coming in I ain't got any no I'm good I'm good I'm good when the time is right now I say when the time is right, those opportunities will present themselves, but the people that I shout out are people that
Starting point is 01:14:49 have been around for years and years and years and years. Quentin Scott said, Unc, it's great to meet you tonight. It was great to meet you tonight. I'm the guy who missed you by 10 minutes yesterday, but still bought three bottles. Question. Are the aspects of your childhood
Starting point is 01:15:06 that humble you that you had to heal in your adulthood? Yeah, I think we're all shaped by our past. Some things are easier to overcome than others.
Starting point is 01:15:30 Hmm. some things are easier to overcome than others. I read somewhere when people say that when you date someone, you're not dating that person, you're dating their past. You're dating their childhood. And if they have issues in their childhood that goes unresolved, that comes with them into adulthood. And that's what you're up against. Oh, that's a good one. Don't you tell real that. Yeah, I'm going to use that in the next argument, boy.
Starting point is 01:16:00 I'm going to use that in the next argument. I'm going to use that in the next argument. DeMarcus Stevenson said, Uncle Ocho, love the show.
