Miami Dolphins have a new head coach on show to Green Bay Packers' defensive coordinator,
Jeff Hathley, as their next head coach.
Dolphins signed Hapley to a five-year contract.
He joins new general manager John Eric Sullivan,
whom the Dolphins hired to replace longtime GM.
Chris Greer this month.
Sullivan and Hapley overlap for the past two seasons together in Green Bay.
The Dolphins have not won a playoff game in 25 seasons.
The longest such drought in the NFL,
the Miami Dolphins last won a playoff game, December 30th,
2000 against the Indianapolis coach.
Hapley was a senior at Siena.
Before his two years at the D.C. in Green Bay,
Haftley was head coach at Boston College,
where he went 22 and 26.
and four seasons.
Happley is the eighth straight head coach hired by the Dolphins
who had no previous NFL head coaching experience.
The last dip Dolphins head coach with previous head coaching experience
was Dave Wanstatt in 2000.
Hey, I remember Dave, huh?
I remember Dave.
He was a DC hit Dallas, no championship team for the long year.
Hey, but listen, Mr. Happley, boy, he got his work cut out for him, huh?
He got his work cut off him.
For one, you have no head coaching experience.
Now, you do have experience in general being around the atmosphere and being in coaching.
You call plays on the defensive side, and I'm sure that's what he told Mr. Ross that I'm going to call plays on the defensive side.
Go ahead, though.
But let's call him calling plays on the defensive side is not the problem.
What you're going to do on the offense?
Who's going to be the quarterback?
Who's going to be a leader at the helm?
That's the issue right now.
You look at the goddamn AFCs.
You got Drake May playing.
playing all world out his mind you got jash allen he's not going to where no time soon now
the jets is probably a team you don't have to worry about as of right now because hell they've got
no goddamn quarterback either no so at some point somebody pulling up the real who is going to be
is either going to be the dolphins or going to be the jas until we find a quarterback just
just somebody going to be coming in the last place that's pulling up the real huh you're you sure
Well, if you're pulling up the rear, that means you're in the back.
Am I saying something wrong?
Oh, you don't like the way of sound.
Yeah, yeah, that just sound, you know.
Oh, my bad, my bad.
My bad.
Okay, my bad.
I got you.
My bad.
But you're right.
If you don't have a quarterback,
I don't give a damn what division you're in.
You ain't competing.
You're not competing, no joke.
You're not.
He got two years, uh, you hear me?
He has, uh, or happily.
Yeah, man, he got two years, boy.
Uh, maybe, yeah, maybe not even that, you know,
it depends on how much thing.
Well, he signed the five-year deal.
What do that mean?
They just, didn't they just sign McDaniel to an extension?
Exactly.
That's why I said.
What'd that mean?
He just signed a five year, dear.
What'd that mean?
Well, these owners want instant gratification.
They want instant success.
because the same way they run their businesses,
when they want their businesses to work
and they want to see,
they want to see return on investment really fast,
they just pour my money into it.
That's not the way the game of football works.
You can't pour money.
Well, actually, you can pour money into it,
but there's a thing called a salary cap
which doesn't allow you to do like the Dodgers do.
You can't be like the goddamn Los Angeles Dodgers.
Yeah.
And if you could, who, the top teams,
they win every goddamn year.
I don't know.
You like Malik Willis to the,
The Dolphins?
You like to the world?
Now we're talking.
Now we're talking some business.
We're making some sense.
I had to get up out my seat, man.
Malik Willis to the Dolphins.
I saw enough.
I saw enough of him when Jordan Love went down with the goddamn Packers.
Now, the problem is you have to understand the support and cast that was around him as well now.
Right.
Now, he doesn't have that same support.
There is no Watson.
Now, we got a Jalen Waddle.
Got Waddle.
You know, we got Washington.
You know, I'm assuming
Darren Waller would be back.
But, God, then, he was loaded with receivers over there.
Let me ask you this.
Would you rather have Malik Willis or Kylea Murray?
Oh, hold on.
Let me, let me go to my thoughts.
Okay.
Hey, you know what?
That's a good one right down.
That's a good one.
Now, you got me stumped right there.
You got, matter of fact, I'm a, I'm a revert to the goddamn chat, chat.
Even if you're not a dolphin fan, who would you like better as a quarterback?
We saw a small sample side of Malik Willis, obviously in Tennessee.
That doesn't count.
But you saw what he did when Joe Love got hurt with the Packers.
He looked goddamn phenomenal.
We've seen Kylie Murray.
We know what Kyle Murray can do.
We've seen a bigger sample size of him, even though things didn't work out in Arizona.
Now, the dolphins, we are in dire need of someone at the quarterback position.
Yes.
No disrespect.
The Quinn Eres or Tua, but I'm just saying.
I think Tua's gone.
I think you need to start thinking about someone else other than Tua.
Right.
Because the reports are that the quarterback did not have to be married to Tua,
which means there's a,
also you don't bench a quarterback the last three games with the anticipate.
Now, look, this is a different coaching staff.
Right.
So they might come in and have a different philosophy
or a different thought process on Tua.
That could be case.
I don't think so.
I don't even.
I don't think so.
I'm just trying to look at it from.
Yeah.
I know.
I understand you're trying to be gracious.
But when a new coach of staff comes in,
they're going to want,
they want to want a fresh start.
They're going to want their guys.
Yeah, they're going to want their guy.
Hey, somebody making fun of what I'm wearing.
Y'all so rude.
Why y'all being so mean to me?
Like, I got feelings.
Yeah.
I'm wearing a sporting Lisbon.
For those who, you know, watch soccer,
sporting there's my jacket,
and I got some,
some cheetah pants I bought off Shine.
Are you shop on Shine?
I don't.
No.
No, I don't.
You like my pants?
I,
I mean, I like them on you.
I would, I mean, that's not me.
I couldn't wear something like that.
Oh, okay.
They were $20 on Sheen or Shine.
I don't even know how to pronounce it.
I don't know if they could give them.
They couldn't get them to me, but.
No.
You know, it's 40 degrees in Miami, right?
I believe it
I don't know what the hell was going on today
I didn't have this on all day
it's cold as hell outside
yeah
shine
no you know
it is it is shine
S-H-E-I-N
it's like it's like an affordable site
like
like
not forever 21
what's the one for men
T-Moo?
No not T-Mu
the other one like they have a man's line
and a woman's line
damn
H&M?
No, no.
You know,
Ross,
Marshals?
No, they own like,
fashion over.
Fashion over,
fashion over,
okay, yeah,
yeah.
So I,
I think Shine is like in,
in that realm of,
like,
you can get good pieces.
If you know how to dress,
if you know how to dress,
it's not about buying expensive stuff
and just knowing how to put stuff together
to make it look like it costs money.
Yeah,
but I mean,
I mean,
I,
uh,
you want me get you a pet ease?
No.
Mm-mm.
No 57-year-old should be in no leopard
print unless you're Mick Jagger.
Unk, you stylish, man.
You're an icon.
Mick Jagger.
It's the only one that you be wearing leopard print.
Nah, a print.
Print is a part of print in fashion in general.
It's not for me.
It's an expression of yourself.
I choose to express myself in other ways.
Okay.
I got you.
I don't got no problem with a man or a young man or wearing leopard print.
each his own.
That's just not for me.
Yeah.
I look good at it though.
You know,
I can kind of get a-
Maybe a jacket.
Yeah, could I wear a jacket?
Yeah, I wouldn't live and bring jacket.
Okay.
Okay.
I ain't wearing no pants.
I got you.
My bad.
My bad.
I mean, I just.
Oh, now they calling me Ashy, man.
Damn.
What would I have on lotion in the house?
Who wears lotion in the house?
I ain't got nobody in the press.
No.
But that's the new thing, man.
I mean, look, I didn't know.
Uh-huh.
I didn't know that so many men watch what other men wear.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It'd be on that heavy.
I was like, well, damn.
Yeah, it'd be on that heavy.
If I was trying to impress you, you would have a legitimate case,
but I buy clothes for me.
Right.
Same.
I buy what I like.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And you really have to be a wolf, aunt.
Really not to care what nobody else think when most of everybody else is, you know,
Did you see my picture I tweeted today?
Yeah, with the kids.
With the kids asleep.
Yes.
I like that, I like that pitching in the back, boy.
Oh, my, yeah.
Yeah.
I had an ex that brought me that for my birthday.
Boy, that was nice boy.
That's one of the nicest birthday gift I've ever received
from anybody.
Yeah.
And that ain't, they ain't got nothing to do with money either.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
I had no idea.
I'm like, what the hell is this, man?
This is man, when I saw that.
Yeah.
I bet you was crying.
I almost teared up.
I did.
Yeah, that's a good gift there, boy.
Because that's what we had,
Barry and my grandma in that pink hat and everything.
So, man, it was, yeah, my boys were asleep.
When I come home, Mocho, they, that's it.
Except Thanos.
He was running, he was.
He'd be all over the place?
Yeah.
But that was, that was two weeks ago, like last week,
when I came home.
And then, man, who took that picture?
That must have been Michelle.
That must have been, like, damn.
Everybody else take a picture,
oh, so everybody take a picture
and don't nobody get asked.
When Jay-Z and Beyonce take a picture,
ain't nobody else, who took that picture?
Right.
Home, take a picture and who took that picture?
I'm like, what, damn?
You know, they'd be wanting to know, man.
You know, they'd be wanting to know,
you know, you know.
Hey, it might have been cookie for all y'all know.
Who was cookie, huh?
Don't worry about it.
Oh, from the old stories?
Yeah, it was not cookie.
You found them?
No, I haven't seen cookie in 30 years.
You might want to read.
Hey, I don't.
You know, and you won't preheat that oven, huh?
You know what happened when you put a cookie in the oven and you preheat it, huh?
I don't eat cookies.
Cookie or cookies.
God damn.
I just want to make sure I want to throw that out there because you, hey, I know that you didn't say nothing about no cookie singular.
Right.
but you might eat cookie.
I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know where you going.
I know you.
No, I won't do that.
Yeah, you will.
You'll sleep, you're real slick with your mind.
I wouldn't even think it like that, huh?
Yeah, you was.
I wasn't thinking like that.
You were.
I promise you I would.
No, I got to stay, I got to stay on mine
because I already know you always on some bulljad.
You always.
Run that back one more time.
Run that back one more time.
Would you say that?
No, no.
The updated NFL coaching landscape,
Titans, Robert Sala,
Giants, John Harbaugh,
Falcons, Kevin Stefansky,
Dolphins, Jeff Hatley,
the bills, Steelers,
Ravens, Browns, Cardinals, Raiders.
Now, there was 10 openings,
now there are only six left.
And the best of the six left is the bills, aren't?
Absolutely.
The best that's left is,
the coaches should be scrambling and fighting for that job.
You think the bill's better than the Ravens?
Oh.
Okay, that's 50-50.
That's 50-50.
It's only 50-50 simply because of the quarterback situation.
Okay.
The quarterback gives you your best chance to win right now.
Yes.
Now, it's up to you as a coach that filling all the missing pieces to make your team competitive.
How can we get the Baltimore Ravens back to playing like a raven?
Um, running back, James Cook, Derek Henry.
Yeah.
James Cook led to league in rushing.
Derrick Henry second.
Yeah.
Uh, the wire receiver position might go to Baltimore because of, uh, uh,
Zay Flowers is better than any wire receiver that they have, but the tight end position.
What about secure?
You know, like, you're like, Shakir?
You think secure better than, uh, Zay?
No, I mean, not better, but they, they, they, they're very similar in style and what they do.
I think there's a little bit
Hey there, this is Dr. Jesse Mills,
director of the men's clinic at UCLA Health
and host of the Mailroom podcast.
Each January guys everywhere make the same resolutions.
Get stronger, work harder, fix, what's broken.
But what if the real work isn't physical at all?
To kick off the new year, I sat down with Dr. Steve Polter,
a psychologist with over 30 years' experience,
helping men unpack shame, anxiety,
and emotional pain they were never taught the name.
In a powerful two-part conversation, we discuss why men aren't emotionally bulletproof,
why shame hides in plain sight, and how real strength comes from listening to yourself and to others.
Guys who are toxic, they're immature, or they've got something they just haven't resolved.
Once that gets resolved, then there comes empathy and compassion.
If you want this to be the year you stop powering through pain and start understanding what's underneath,

What if this year is about giving ourselves permission
to feel what we've been holding
and knowing that it's okay to ask for help?

This is your boy, Nav Green, from the Broken Play Podcast.
Look, it's the end of the season, the playoffs are here.
But guess what?
It ain't the end of your season.
You can always tune in with Broken Play Podcasts with Nav Green on the Black Effect Podcast Network.
Not a team who ain't going to the playoffs.
They're cheese.
What's a rap?
It's time to rebid.
Who's your MVP right now, then?
Drake May up there, Josh Allen up there still.
Oh, my boy, Matthew Stafford.
Where did his Bull Knicks at?
He ain't too far behind.
He did all this talk about.
What Matthew Stafford is doing statistically, bro, is crazy.
Bro, you know I ain't no Josh Allen fan,
but Matthew Stafford got better weapon.
Caleb Williams.
Hey, he should be in that conversation.
In what conversation?
He should be in it.

a podcast or whatever you get your podcast more.
Zay spends a little bit more time outside.
Shakira mainly is mainly a slot receipt.
Yeah.
The tight ends.
You got Knox Kincaid versus likely is gone.
He's gone.
You think so?
He's gone.
Because they just gave Andrews three years, $40 million.
He gone.
Damn.
At least, at least, Andrew.
I think the offensive line, I might get a slight offensive line to Buffalo.
Buffalo, which means slight.
As long as they got that right guard there.
What's the name, huh?
Valeli?
Filet.
Filet.
Hey.
Hey, boy.
Somebody put a compilation to him and like just hitting nobody, man, for like a,
there's a video for about a minute, two minutes long.
Yeah.
Man, I was in, no, I was, talk about I was in tears.
Oh, man, that joke was that.
He will, hey, blocking nobody.
I was in tears rolling, man.
Now you're sticking his hand out here, and both guys ran by it.
I'm like, bro, what are you doing?
What is that?
Who's that up there?
What he got?
Oh, man.
According to Ian O'Connor, the contract holdup between John Harbaugh and the Giants
sent around reporting structure.
Harbaugh needed in writing that he would report directly to owner John Mara, not GM,
Joe Schein.
A Harbaugh reported directly to ownership in Baltimore, but that has not been the structure
with the Giants.
Shone recused himself from negotiations
over the last couple of days.
Look, he had that set up in Baltimore.
Right.
It's hard, Ocho.
Once you've been in a position
and this is what you're used to
for you to go any other way.
That's why I think it'll be hard for Coach Belichick.
Coach Belichick had total autonomy.
The only person he reported to
was Mr. Kraft.
And Mr. Kraft, for the most,
part there's only one decision that Mr.
Kraft says okay and that was to keep Bel to keep Brady and get rid of Garoppolo.
Other than that he sided with Coach Belichick on everything.
Even when the rubber needed to meet the road at the end of 20 years, he said,
okay Billy.
And so I think it'd be cool.
I think it'd be very hard.
I'm not saying it's impossible, but it'll be hard that you got to report to a
general manager, you not in charge of the 53, you're not in charge of the draft, you
not in Toronto free agency.
Oh,
should that be extremely,
when you've had that kind of control for 20 years?
Yeah.
And listen,
now I told you,
I told you,
see,
now that this is going on
and they're,
they're having some tug of war
in the language that's in the contract.
Now,
what's the chance of him pulling out of that
and going over to Buffalo?
But I think they got it done now.
I said,
I think that was a problem,
but I think,
I think that language did get into the contract.
Okay, okay, okay.
Uh, Sean, uh, Sean, uh, uh, shan, he recused himself.
So I think the contract's done now, Ocho.
Okay.
Um, but you, you see what he did, Ocho?
Mm-hmm.
Get it in writing.
I ain't taking your word for nothing because you see, oh yeah, that'll be no problem.
And then all of a sudden, no, you got to go through it.
No, see.
Yeah.
Get it in writing.
Yeah, they'll play with you now.
Yeah.
There's been speculation that the Ravens and the,
the Ravens and Raiders are discussing,
or could end up discussing the trade
that would send Lamar Jackson to Las Vegas.
There's a feeling out there that the Raiders
are going to make a play for Lamar.
That's a big splash.
If the Raiders,
you'd give up all these pieces for Lamar
over drafting Mendoza
with the first overall pick.
Man, stop playing with my dog like that.
This makes no sense to me.
Whoever even came up with that report
talking about making a splash
and making a play for Lamar,
man, stop playing, man.
Stop playing.
The quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders
will be Fernando Mendoza
with the number one overall pick.
Okay?
Fernando Mendoza's receiver
on the right of the left,
his ex would probably be
George W.B. Pickens.
Okay?
Mm-hmm.
And that's pretty much it.
They're going to revamp everything
over there in Las Vegas,
and that's pretty much it.
They definitely need to do something, don't you?
I don't know what?
All they're going to do,
but they need to do something.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
The quarterback would definitely help,
but I still think there's just so many pieces away, man.
They don't really have the wide receivers.
Now, if they get George Pickings all that,
I mean, you got Brock Bowers,
but when I say wire receivers,
we don't, Brock Bowers,
when you list Brock Bowers,
they have T.E.
by the end of his name.
Right.
When you mentioned all the McBride,
they have T.E.
So when we say wire receivers,
we're not talking about the tight end.
We're talking about the guys that are wide receivers.
They don't have any.
Their best one they traded to Jacksonville,
I think, for a third or a fourth round pick.
So they got a pick coming back.
Right.
I don't know if they have any compensatory picks.
But with that being said, they're still a long ways away.
Yeah.
They're in the back.
They're in the back of the class for a minute.
Because everybody got substantial quarterbacks.
You got Mahomes in that division.
You got Herbert in that division.
And you got Boe Nixon that division.
Woo!
Now, maybe, maybe, I don't think Max Crowth would be upset if you were to trade him.
It all depends on where you're going to trade him.
Yeah, and what you can get for him.
Oh, you go get a first round pick for it.
Yeah, what you can get for him and help you build that team and get some pieces.
Because, I mean, with him, you lost, so without him you can lose too.
So why not?
while he's extremely valuable
if you trade him
get what you can
yeah
get what you can
yeah
I can't wait to see
pickings in that goddamn
black and silver boy
huh
hey call it
uncle call it call it
what you want
blue 17
blue 17
see it
huh
hey uncle
well I'm still quick as hell
boy
yeah I see that
y'all damn
and my knees still hurt
ooh I feel like
I can play boy
I could play.
You can, man.
No, I'm talking about,
hey, Unk, right now, right now at 58,
Unk, I'm telling you I can give you four quarters.
Third downs.
Yeah, change for a dollar.
The only four quarter, you do it.
Nah, no, no, no, I'm telling you.
Put me out, put me out, get, put,
now you know how competitive I am.
Yes.
Man, man, I wish they.
We all still competitive in our very own minds.
Yeah, give me, give me opportunity to get on that field right now.
Man, I have softly, love you.
young dudes up, man.
They don't understand.
It's different here, boy.
I'm built.
First time you go full out,
you're going to pull a half string.
I'll tell your half strength.
Smooth out the bone.
I play soccer every weekend full out.
Oh, Cho, you ain't running no full speed to try to hit no ball.
You have to, it's 11b 11.
It's not the little field.
I don't care about that.
I'm ready, boy.
Stay out the field.
Hey,
hey,
you're talking about,
man,
too about poor or something.
Look,
hey, my knee's good,
but.
But,
man,
you need a half,
Hootio. Hey there, this is Dr. Jesse Mills, director of the men's clinic at UCLA Health and host of the mailroom podcast. Each January, guys everywhere make the same resolutions. What's up, man?
This is your boy, Nav Green, from the Broken Play Podcast.
Look, it's the end of the season, the playoffs are here.
But guess what?
It ain't the end of your season.
You can always tune in with Broken Play Podcasts
with Nav Green on the Black Effect Podcast Network.
Not a team who ain't going to the playoffs.
They're cheese.
Oh, it's a rap.
It's time to rebuild.
Who your MVP right now then?
Drake May up there, Josh Allen,
they're still.
Oh, my boy, Matthew Stafford.
Where did he's both Knicks at?
He ain't too far behind.
He did all this talk.
What Matthew Stafford is doing statistically, bro,
it's crazy.
Bro, you know, I ain't no Josh Allen fan,
but Matthew Stafford got better weapon.
Caleb Williams.
Hey, he should be in that conversation.
In what conversation?
He should be in it.
Listen to Broken Play with Nav Green
from the Black Effect Podcast Network
on the IHeart Radio app.
Apple Podcast or whatever you get your podcast.
Hey.
I'm flexible too.
Look at that joke, stiffen in the fence post.
Huh?
That joke's stiffing in the fence post.
Oh, man, look at it.
Nah, you better stay on the sideline would be, man.
Stare on the sideline would be.
Ocho, Joe Burrow hasn't treated in two years.
This is what he treated today.
The amount of people that don't understand
what a catchier is in the rule book flabbergats me,
and it's not the official.
The two plays yesterday were not difficult cause.
They got them both right.
Yeah, listen, you was right.
You was right.
They're talking about the Hutchison play.
The Hutchinson play, do y'all realized that he caught the ball,
took off running, his knee touch, and then Gonzales popped it out?
As opposed to a guy that just drops to the ground,
and in the process, J. Mack,
I mean, y'all thought, do those plays look the same to you?
One guy was a runner, his knee goes down.
Hutch was a runner.
Where?
Which game, which game, what's game with these tweets referring to, huh?
He's talking about the play in Denver and the play in, and, uh, Houston.
Oh, okay, okay, okay, probably popped it out of Hutch.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hutch ran, Ocho.
Yeah, he was running.
Mm-hmm.
And in the process of getting ready to go down, his knee hits.
That's different than you catching the ball and going straight down.
Yeah.
Because the question is, let me ask you this.
If he catches that ball and he goes straight down
and it pops out, what is it?
Fumbo.
It's incomplete.
Incomplete?
Unless you make a football move.
You got to make a ball move.
Just keep saying, well, what about likely?
Likely is in the end zone.
In order for it to be rude to catch,
they got three steps.
If you go look before that first step hit down,
the guy ripped it out.
Mm-hmm.
Just go look.
You can see they slowed it down.
Even a, what's that a son?
Sunday night game. Yes, no Sunday night game.
You can see he goes one, two, and the third is about the Pittsburgh guy pulled it out.
As a matter of thinking, it was JP2.
He pulled it out.
Yeah.
They're totally different plays.
Brandon Cooks didn't take a, he goes straight down.
And I knew what happened.
He showed him the ball, no show.
He said he showed me the ball.
Yeah, once he turned around.
And I know if he showed me the ball, he got to break it down.
Ain't no way he going to catch hold it up here.
So in the process of bringing it down, trying to put it to his body.
Took it right out of there.
You go see his hand.
This is the ball, Ocho, his hands are right there.
Mm-hmm.
Bring it to me.
He brought it right to him.
Devonte ran.
And is he hit?
We're moving on.
Your team lost.
If you were for Buffalo, your team lost.
If used for Chicago, your team lost.
Now, go argue with us.
Go argue in the echo chamber.
And who?
echo chamber today domico rinds was asked to provide a big picture assessment of c j stroud's play during the
2025 season i'm not going to let bad plays there in uh in that game against the patriots dictate to me
who cj is i know who cj is i know what he's capable of doing we just got to keep got to keep
looking to get better no one feels worse about the situation than cj he feels bad for the team he feels
like he let the team down.
So where does Rhines want to see CJ improve for 2026?
I talked to CJ today and my message is the same.
Right now it's just about him flushing out this one.
It's going to get a lot of negative talk, a lot of attention on him.
He can't listen to it all.
He just has to get back to work in the offseason going back to the basics.
The fundamentals of playing the quarterback position and playing it really well,
understanding how we need to play the game to win the game.
He understands that already.
I just told him, don't listen to anything.
Put your phone away.
Don't listen to anything because it's going to be a lot of negativity.
Talk out there about you.
Specifically, I just told him get away, clear his mind,
because right now at this moment, I know there's going to be a lot of attention on him,
a lot of negative media, and today a lot of questions about him.
Oh, Joe, I only have to do.
And this, with that defense, you don't need to be Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrell.
They don't have those defenses.
You need to be Trent Dilfer.
You need to be Brad Johnson.
You need to be Jim McMahon.
That's good enough with that defense.
Oh, that pick six, I still don't know what he was trying to do on that pick six.
Do you know what he's trying to do?
No, no, sir, I don't.
I don't.
And, you know, for C.D. Stroud, he has no reason to be down on himself.
Now, for us, for us, for yourself and you, we were critical of him because of his play.
Yes.
It was poor.
It was poor.
He played like Mr. Henke off South Park in that game.
There was no reason to have that many turnovers.
You're not even giving your team a chance to even win the game.
As great as that defense is, you put in the defense in harm's way.
causing them to play in overdrive in a sense.
And you don't have Nico Collins,
so you need to be at your best as often as you can.
Most of the time when it comes to the playoff, the team that makes least mistakes.
Win.
Win.
When's the game.
And you made multiple of those mistakes and still almost had an opportunity to keep your team in the game
and have a chance to win it.
Obviously, you didn't win it.
But for C.D. Stroud, why I said he doesn't need to keep his head down is
because I want you to understand where the Houston, Texas were before you got there.
And how because of you, once you did get there, how things turned around, how things changed as far as the record and concern.
C.J. Stroud, they was bad before you got there, boy.
You are the answer.
You are the future.
You just have to be better in the right moments.
Now as a rookie in your third year, there are opportunities and there are situations that you've been in, that now that you've been in them already, you can't make those mistakes again.
That's how you get better.
I can name five quarterbacks that could have won that game yesterday.
And I bet the five you name of some of the best of the game.
And I ain't talking about Josh Allen.
I'm not talking about Lamar Jackson.
I'm talking about Mahomes.
I'm not talking about Malik Willis wins that game yesterday.
All they had to do not turn the ball over.
Yeah.
All he had to do is not turn the ball over.
Okay, Ocho, you got one.
Just don't turn it over four times.
Right.
Because guess what?
How many times did your defense bailed you out by taking the ball right back?
Back, yeah, back again.
Yeah.
And you would have thought,
and you know what, man, damn,
I could have, I mean,
if Pittsburgh had any resemblance
of an offense,
but a pick six,
a scoop and score,
we got 14 points.
Right.
We only score 30.
So really,
offensively,
we only scored six.
And I'm looking,
I'm like,
bro,
do you understand?
Because I think sometimes,
Ocho,
sometimes,
is that when you play with somebody,
and it's hard,
because you see what Jay,
Daniels and you see Caleb Williams and you see all these quarterbacks that's very
similar to your age and you see them making these spectacular plays but they don't have
your defense. It's required of them to make spectacular plays right or they don't win.
You don't you can be mundane. You can be pedestrian with that defense. You still have a
chance. Man, with Hunter and Anderson and they good at and two or two oh and and and and and
and uh as year and you look at stinging lathar and petrie bro you got hunter you got rankings
you got settled you got uh uh uh uh uh mario edwin jrrrrr was junior great but you're
you're loaded yeah just don't put the ball in harm's way and we good he gonna you know he
you know he's gonna learn from it you're gonna learn from it you're gonna learn from it you
will get this taste at your mouth you need this to continue the growth you know and then and i'm
I'm hoping, you know, you take the time you need, take your time off, reset mentally,
get away from the game of football right now, disconnect from it, and come back and ready
to work.
But we in January on?
Yes.
January, February.
Take about six weeks off.
Yeah, about March.
When March hit, slowly, gradually get yourself back into it.
And stay off, do not, you don't need to do any podcast.
Anybody ask you about anything?
I don't want to talk.
You don't got nothing to say.
You can't express itself on?
No.
Do you really want to express yourself after this performance?
Yeah, I want to talk about how bad I play.
I want to face the music.
No, you ain't going to talk about that.
I want to face the music.
I played bad.
I let my teammates down.
I let myself down.
I am my own biggest critic,
no matter what anyone else has said about me on any platform.
I played it.
I'm going to fix the situation,
and I'm here to tell y'all,
Don't tell us about it.
Show us.
Okay.
I'm from Missouri.
You know I was born in Missouri, Ocho?
For real?
To show me state.
Show me.
Oh, oh, you got me.
You got me.
Hey, don't be up.
Don't talk about it.
Be about it.
Okay, I got you.
I got you.
Let me ask you a question.
Uh-huh.
Mahomes second year.
MVP, did he go on anybody to tell you how great he was?
No.
You ever hear Manning?
You ever hear Brady.
They downplay it.
Now behind closed door,
if CJ wants to boot to do his own horn behind
those doors, have that it.
But as a quarterback,
because this game will humble your ass quick.
Oh yeah, it will, it will, it will.
What I don't want him to do,
I don't want him to lose his confidence though.
I don't want to, I want him to have that,
that, that, that, that, that I'm him.
I still want him to have that, but I think he went a little,
little wrong by saying it, yeah, you know,
as a quarterback, you can't do that.
Now receivers, I get it, you know, DBEs, I get it,
you know, we, we can do that.
But, you know, the quarterback position is a little different.
You have to carry yourself a certain way.
You've got to talk a certain way.
You've got to be politically correct, which I don't like.
It's frowned upon to be anything but that, especially with the face of a franchise.
So listen, listen, growing pains, growing pace.
I think he's going to be a right because he's a tremendous talent.
He's a tremendous talent.
Yeah, no doubt.
Yeah, I think they'll, they and he will get things fixed.
So he's better for the Texans.
I hope so
because I hate that you wasted
such a historic defense this year
they could fly around
man this was good
this is this is old fashioned defense
defense that I'm used to seeing
guys can pressure your quarterback
they're physical
they do a great job of tackling
but you can't turn that ball over
no you can't overcome
those mistakes
Look at the teams this weekend, Ocho, that lost a turnover battle.
All of them are going on.
All of them.
That's not an accident.
It's not.
No.
Football playoff has always been about who can take it away and who can take care of it.
Oh, yeah.
I think we had what?
Man, I think in the postseason, I think we had one turnover in Baltimore in 2000.
That's it?
Through a pick and ending.
excuse me, against the Raiders.
We didn't turn it over against Denver.
We didn't turn it over against Tennessee.
Had one turnover, but we took it away a bunch.
Dang.
So.
Hey, you know, and you notice something tonight?
What's that?
Notice my camera went off.
Yeah, what happened?
And the quality is good.
Yes.
Um, it got so many damn settings buttons on it.
Okay.
Someone told me to put it on auto.
Then I went to the menu and went to something, I went to streaming output and I put it on USB.
Yes.
And they told me to do something else with the settings and not is working perfectly.
Well, I'm glad, Ocho.
I'm glad you figured out.
I'm happy.
I don't know why these cameras come with all these goddamn buttons anyway.
I don't know why they come with them either, Ocho, but I'm glad.
Hey, on and off.
That's all I need.
And they come with like 37,000 buttons and in the menu, you go on the menu.
and it's like three different layers of, man, what is a...
Man, come on, I just want to turn my camera on.
I just want to film, man.
That's it.
Well, I sure hope it stays like this.
That's real nice.
I got good quality.
I think you can see me in 4K too, but...
Yeah, you look...
I need a little haircut, but I look good.
I sent you that thing about that guy got his hair tattooed in his head.
Who got a tattoo in the hair?
I got tattooed.
I said, yeah, oh, this is right here for Ocho.
I sent it to you.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hold on.
I think for the live show, right?
Yeah.
When I do the live show, I'm a thing I'm going to come out there with a new look.
You're coming there with that unit?
Yeah, I think I'm going to get the unit.
Like, you know.
Oh, I thought you were going to get the beer unit.
Okay, I'm going to get the beer unit so we can match.
Yeah.
I'm going to get the beer unit.
Or you have gray in it too?
No, I ain't going to do the gray because I ain't, I ain't, no, I ain't going to do the grade.
I ain't, I don't look good with that.
I don't think I look good with that salt and pepper, huh?
Yeah, but I mean, Ocho, you do realize this is a part of Asian unless you
Pakistani or Indian.
Oh, you know, I got a little Cherokee in me.
I got a little Cherokee.
No, no, I got a little Cherokee in me.
You know, I did my DNA, my ancestry treat.
Boy, you ain't got nothing Indian in you.
Yeah.
Hey, um.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I guess so you were the chief, huh?
You was a chief, huh?
No, no, no, my uncle, my uncle, my Uncle Tutu.
Mm-hmm.
My Uncle Tutu was a Native American.
He was with a Cherokee tribe.
Oh.
Yeah.
I'll tell you no lie.
So he was a Cherokee, not a Chickasaw, not a chalk towel.
No, no, he was a Cherokee.
He was Cherokee.
Listen, that's what the ancestry told me.
Okay.
Now, if it's a, if it's a lie, the ancestry, they, they told it, not me.
That's, you know, if I let my hair grow, that's what you're going.
So if you, so you might, so you might be like, be a chief or something, huh?
I don't, I don't think I'm no chief.
I'm not sure.
I'm not sure what his ranking was, you know, when he had his time.
You know, but I don't think I was even no chief.
So I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I guess you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you putter, you got some Puerto Rican in you?
Nah, I ain't got no Puerto Rican in me, though.
I got a little Haitian.
So, you know, I'm, I'm like Cherokee Haitian and, that's a hell of a combo.
I don't know how that all got there.
Hey, I, I, listen, that, that, that, that, that, that, you need to do your ancestry tree, aunt, so you can see where you from and what all you, what all you got?
I'm from Ninjaville.
That's where I'm from
Yeah they told me
They say what
They say I was mixed with end and moen
Okay
Okay
This man, this man talking about
He's some Cherokee
No, only 5% huh?
It's really not that much
And you know how I know
It's probably right
Because when I let my hair grow
The texture of my hair is soft
And they curl up
that's why that's one of the reasons why i keep it i keep it cut ball because of the humidity in
miami it shit it's shit mess me up i tell you no lie that's what i try to tell it they
wasn't no cherokee the cherokee was not in that in that area right so they was they was
over here by the emiglibs seminole yeah Cherokee seminole they was in the everglaze
cherokee and siminotorekia simon not the same thing i know they're not the same thing they used to
all the time though.
I think the Cherokee,
what area was the Cherokee in?
Like if you said the Shawnee or the Seminole,
or the Chickasaw, Chalktown,
something like that,
I could,
I probably could have got with you,
the Lumby.
No, the Cherokees in the goddamn,
in the Seminoe,
they used to fight all the time
in Everglades.
Oh, Cho, you'll be,
yeah, they wasn't.
No, they,
they was out here,
I'm telling you, man.
I'm telling you about my,
my,
great, great, great uncle, uncle cousin.
If you're from Georgia, like Kentucky, like a little bit of Alabama or something like that.
But wasn't it, the Seminole?
Was it the Seminole?
Down in Florida?
Yeah, the Seminole's down here.
Because I think the Chonk Tall, the Chickasaw was like Oakland started moving west.
The Lumby was like in North Carolina.
You know, they was everywhere.
You know they tried to erase our history now.
No, they be trying to play with our history now.
Listen to here, Chief Steakfoot.
You don't got no history down there.
Hey.
Hey, you know, no, you know, you know, you know,
he's, you know, he's calling me, right?
Chief Steakfoot.
Nah, nah, I was, little blackfoot.
That was my name, a little black foot.
Yeah, because when I was, when I was little,
my feet was like real, real black.
So he called me a little blackfoot.
This man here.
I promise you.
That man said he was, he was Puerto Rican.
Nah, I say I'm, I'm no, I'm Cherokee and Haitian.
Yeah, I don't know, but I don't know.
I, I, I've never heard anybody with that combination.
I've heard some, some combinations.
Yeah.
But I ain't never heard Native American and Haitian.
Yeah.
Y'all never heard of that combination?
I mean, they don't, they don't really know.
I mean, like I said, I like I see, you know, you get a little this, a little dad.
You get a little European and you get a little, you know, South Africa.
and this and, you know, you get me, you get some.
But damn.
Yeah.
I mean, I said the same thing when I saw.
When the results came up, I said, what?
Cherokee and Haitian?
Yeah.
And obviously a little African American, so, you know, I mean, it is what it is.
I'm proud of my heritage, though.
Yeah.
I've been out like a little history major, so I kind of, I was like, hold on.
What, no, I think the Muscogee.
Who?
But like I said, I.
But who?
Muskogee.
No, Muskogee.
They were, they was more on the east.
I know by the Musco guy, I had two homie from the Muskogee's.
Who?
Yeah.
But that's what I'm saying.
There's no Cherokee died there in Florida.
Now, they die down here.
I'm telling you.
I know.
They used to go at it.
They used to hunt, they used to hunt buffalo.
And Gator.
I don't know if Buffalo roamed that far.
They did.
Back then they did.
No, I think it was kind of, I think they kind of cut it off in like the mid, like Oklahoma and Texas.
The buffalo came towards Miami during the winter with the birds.
When the birds flew south, the buffalo came to.
Colorado, Wyoming.
I'm telling you, man, see, that's why I say, that's why the people, the man, they tried to erase the history.
People don't even know that the buffalo was down here at the crib, too.
So when the birds flew south in the winter, when it got cold, the buffalo followed them.
Okay, I'll take your word for it, Ocho.
Yeah, man, you got to know your history.
Ocho, Seattle Seahawks running back,
Zach Sharmano.
So for the season ending knee injury,
that will require surgery,
Seahawks head coach, Mac McDonald's said
on Seattle sports.
McDonald called it a significant knee injury,
unfortunately, breaks your heart.
He's going to need surgery,
so he's got a good long road to come back.
Damn.
That's messed up, man.
It is.
You know, yeah, obviously, listen,
This football, man.
It's a very barbic.
It's a brutal game.
Yeah, it is.
And he was playing really well, boy.
He was.
Oh, man, he was playing really well.
But listen, Kenneth Walker the third.
Oh, yeah.
Very well capable.
Yeah.
He'd be toting that thing.
He'd be toting that thing.
So they're going to be all right.
Excuse me, offensively.
I'm not sure who the third back is going to be,
who now steps up into the number two slot.
Yeah.
But they're going to be all right.
The chiefs.
Chiefs are expecting to bring back a familiar face in Eric B.
enemy as the offensive coordinator, according to Tom Pelliserra reported today.
With the Chief's offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, contract expiring,
and him taking a head coach job interviews,
Chiefs are ready to turn back to E.B.
Ocho, people were confused when Eric Banymy left Kansas City
for a lateral O.C. move in Washington because he wanted credit as a play caller.
After bouncing around the league, could you see him come back
to help fix the struggling chief's offense
and finally rewrite a narrative
that was, you know,
he didn't really have a whole lot to do with the offense.
I mean, I hate that,
that he had to leave.
Obviously, he wanted success.
He wanted to get credit for the success
similar to the Kyrie situation in Cleveland.
When LeBron was there,
he wanted to have his own team
and show that he can also lead in his own way.
And the same thing with,
with Be enemy, you know, going to Washington.
Obviously, you didn't have the same pieces.
I obviously didn't have the goddamn quarterback, you know,
to be able to have the success you would have liked to,
even though you are a great play caller.
Going back to the Chiefs after them having a down season,
maybe Andy Reed release themselves to the calling the plays
and allows you to do what you've done best.
You think Andy going to give a play caller?
Oof, maybe, maybe not.
I mean, I'm sure he's had some input on it before, you know.
I think the thing is what EB is there,
E.B. is the guy that holds everybody accountable.
If you listen to guys talk,
he's a guy that's going to mophore and curse people out
and make everybody knows their responsibility
and do your effing job.
You remember, you see the clip where he's getting on
A, L, A, A, A, A, A, A, Pterson.
He's like, did you do what you're supposed to do?
But he said, no, what did you do?
Mm-hmm.
What were you supposed to do?
So, E.B. going to hold people accountable now.
That's one thing.
He's going to hold your ass accountable.
It don't matter who you are.
and maybe that's what they need.
Maybe they had gotten away from that.
All right, Ocho.
Ocho, it's time for O'Cay.
O'Shea.
Sitting bull.
Chief Steakfoot, Little Blackfoot.
Yeah, Little Blackfoot.
That's me.
They call me Little Blackfoot.
Now it's time for our final segment of the evening.
It's time for Q and A.
Ninth Cloud, Life.
This is exactly.
Exactly why Georgia didn't want Beck back.
Bro, they lost the national championship game.
He played well.
He threw a pick.
But what about the game that he played last week,
two weeks ago, to get him in this position?
Are we just going to forget about that?
Or what about the game that he played when he went to the A&M?
Are we going to forget about that?
Boy, they're hard.
Hey, tough.
McRodders and Ocho.
What, oh, his money, that 59, you owe it?
Oh, it's double now.
You're right.
It is.
We're going on three years.
I mean, come on now.
He ain't been no three years, man.
It's going on three years.
It's been by six months, if that.
It's going on three years, oh, Joe.
Going on three years, man.
You know, times it's tough, man, and it's economy, man.
So if they're tough for you,
I mean, what you think about me with a missing $5,900?
Not, I mean, you're in a better situation.
Almighty James, why does Indiana play so much zone coverage?
Why not?
You play to win the game.
I ain't trying to impress you by playing, man.
It worked.
Yeah, I mean, why question what covers their plan?
I mean, that's what they've done all year.
Based on who they're playing, based on the other team personnel,
what do we do, what do we run where we can have the most success and get home?
Zone it is.
I'm sure Buffalo did roam in Florida.
I don't know if they roamed in Miami,
maybe Jacksonville,
the North Florida.
Oh, no, we had never know, huh?
We had never know.
This was so long ago, this was so long ago.
We had never know.
I don't know exactly where they were.
I know what they are now.
I know they're in Colorado.
I know they're in Oklahoma.
Yeah.
I know they're in Wyoming.
Yeah, they up there.
In that area of the Midwest.
I know that for certain.
Yeah, they up there.
Yeah, you just got to think about long ago this was, man.
Stephanie, you finally back,
Stephanie Warfield, happy birthday, Vanessa Smith.
Hope you enjoyed your special day.
Yes, happy birthday, Vanessa.
Cal Simpson, Uncle Ocho, number 80 for Indiana,
Charlie Becker can catch a greasy barbecue BB in the dark
with both hands ties behind his back.
That boy, Fitzgerald.
He made some plays tonight.
Yeah, he did.
You remember he made that play Ocho in the Big Ten championship game?
Mm-hmm.
On the third down, when they put it up, he high-pointed it,
came down with it.
Yeah, that was a great catch by him over there on that side, boy.
He had a couple of back shoulders.
That back shoulder put on the third down.
Killer, killing him.
De Woods for, Ocho, what do you think about if Mac Jones was to join the Steelers
at their future QB?
They would have to trade for him.
Yeah, you would have to trade for him.
You got to protect him.
He's not the most mobile guy.
He's had some athleticism.
He can get out of harm's way.
I like Mac.
I think the West Coast system is.
It's best suited for him.
But hey, but listening at the Rooney's talk,
they're open to having Aaron Rogers come back.
So we'll see.
Aaron Jones, Fernando Mendoza was born in Boston.
They grew up in Miami.
He lived his entire life in the U.S.
The reason he spoke Spanish is to congratulate his grandparents.
Why people got a problem with that?
Everybody ain't got to speak just because you're in America.
First of all, you do realize people speak other languages in America.
Yeah, like it.
Like it's the only language you can speak if you're in America.
Yeah, I speak Spanish.
And I speak English.
So if, if, oh, Joe, I've never seen somebody speaking Spanish or Japanese or Chinese or Chinese or Vietnamese or whatever the case may be, whatever they're, you know, Russian, Belarusian, whatever.
Right.
I ain't never say speak English.
I don't care.
They're not talking to me.
Right.
And if they are talking to me, I don't know what they're saying,
so I don't pay no attention anyway.
I mean, I see people, I see two Asians,
I see Asians speaking to each other all the time.
I mean, people that clean my house, they speak,
they're not talking to me.
Right.
Because guess what?
When they want to ask me something,
they say, excuse me, Mr. Shad or Mr. Sharp.
But when they're talking, it's just in their language to each other,
I don't care.
I don't.
We got to just, oh,
speak this. You are to you? So and? Oh, you want to speak English?
F you,
mophon.
You, you, you, you understand that?
Loud and clear. Yeah, the man, I mean, his grandparents, I guess, don't speak
English or don't understand English, whatever case it may be. Yeah.
Whatever, he spoke to him.
Hands off to you, Fernando. Congratulations. And I know your grandparents are
extremely, extremely.
proud of their grandson and what you were able to accomplish.
Congratulations to the Mendoza family.
True and infamous, from worst team in college football
to going 16 and winning the Big Ten,
Rose Bowl, Peach Bowl, and now the national championship.
Congratulations, Indiana.
Absolutely.
This is amazing story.
They're going to do a documentary.
They're going to do a story on this.
We got to.
This better than Rudy.
This better than Rudy, Ocho.
Yeah.
Rudy got a couple of plays.
and they're carrying about the field.
This here's better than Rudy.
Absolutely.
Mark McDonald,
what's up on?
Oh, lost my great granted this morning.
Been watching previously video to cope.
Any advice moving forward to love the show.
Mark,
we're so sorry about the loss of a loved one.
My condoluses.
Deepest thoughts and prayers
go out to you and your family
and all loved ones that impacted by this.
Only time,
you're never going to really get over.
You just get better at coping with it.
It gets,
it's because she's always,
going to be there. And for you to tell us about it, and obviously it means that you lost someone
very, very close and personal to you. And when you lose that person, I think the best thing to do
is remember all the great times. Yeah. And not this most tragic instance in which, you know,
she transitioned over. And that's how you have to do it. Just take one day at a time.
That's what she would, I would like, always thought what my granny want me to do? And, you know,
She, you know, her famous quote today, boy,
we all got to do it.
Mm-hmm.
We all got to do it.
We all.
We got that appointment, Ocho.
You know a lot of times we reschedule it.
We changed our flights.
We got a doctor's appointment.
It's on a Tuesday.
We ask, can we change it to a Wednesday or we change it the next week?
Yeah.
It's the one appointment.
You got to schedule.
Everybody has that appointment.
Can't change this one.
That you cannot reschedule.
The thing is, you just don't know when your appointment is.
Damn.
And you know what?
I got a question too, huh?
Yes.
And this is for the chat, too, the chat,
y'all could answer in the chat.
About that appointment, you can't reschedule when it's time to leave this certain.
It's time to transition.
Mm-hmm.
Would you like to know when it's time to go?
Or would you rather just, when it's time, whatever's supposed to happen, it just happens.
Or would you like to know when it's actually your time?
You can't.
Because then now you're going to try to circumvent.
now all of a sudden, see, you're supposed to live your life right.
If you know it's going to come, guess what?
You're going to be a jerk and be a heathen and do all these things and then try to get
right.
Well, my time tomorrow, Lord, you know, hey, I want you to forgive me for all my done and all.
Now, I said, nah, that's why you're supposed to live your life, your life in a just and
righteous way.
Yeah.
Because you don't know.
You're going to have to ask for all this.
The old saying, don't you're going to have to ask for all this.
The old saying, don't you're going to.
have to answer for this on this side or the other but you're going to have to
hey you're going to have to give an account oh yeah oh yeah yeah listen I try my
best to do right but man look here man it ain't easy no bear gang the Hoosiers and
Shay by Laporteur both one tonight ohcho got to order nah he just got to order he just
got to order a case but he's still owe me 59 hundi I got I got I got I got the
Okay, hold on.
I didn't get the case, but I got the case.
What she say?
She knocked that.
Oh.
Steve Swift, Ogunocho, y'all doing a nightcap show overseas.
We love you guys to come to the UK more life.
We don't have that on the schedule, Steve.
We do not have that on the schedule,
but we do have a summer tour on the schedule.
Or we're trying to put that together.
So hopefully if you visit the states,
We'll be in an area, an era, area, excuse me, that's close to you and you can stop in to see us.
But we really appreciate you, Steve, supporting us from the UK.
We got fans all over the world, so we want to thank you.
Oh, yeah.
Ron for me, Ocho, what's your top five Colognes?
You thought about doing a Q&A on Club Shethe like Nightcap.
Queen Latifah would be a great guest on Club Shethe by the way.
That's a good one.
Ocho, what's your top five Colognes?
You know what's funny?
Hey, Unk, I don't really know nothing by no colognes, Unk.
I got, I got, I got two bottles.
What you got?
I'm really, I'm really bad at that.
Piss and Musk.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
And matter of fact, I'm glad, I'm glad whoever asked you that, asked that question tonight.
I'm glad you did ask that question because I literally only have two bottles of cologne.
I'll go in sacks and I ask them, what are the top two sellers right now?
I really don't know the names.
I'm not really, really that, that, that fond.
I'm not a cologne enthusiast.
Yes.
If someone could give me their top five or what's the best smelling,
whether it's-
Probably Creed, got to be one of them because I see people buy it a lot of creed.
Creed got a million different flavors, aren't.
They got too many flavors, man.
Like everything can't smell good.
Everything can't smell good.
So if somebody needs-
You do wear that your car?
You remember that your car in that black bottle, that black bottle, Ocho?
Your car?
Yeah.
Okay, I remember that.
I remember that.
Obsession by Calvin Clark.
Okay, I remember Dior Savage, that everybody killed.
I used to wear that brute.
Brute?
A brute, that's for the old folk, huh?
Look here, man.
My granddad was old.
What, you thought he was going to buy some cologne?
Okay.
I put on what old spice.
I used to wear old spice.
Yeah, and you tap that thing on that like this?
Yeah.
Hey.
I had more, I had more cologne since probably 86, 87.
What you were, oils?
I don't wear nothing.
No.
It's just me.
Okay, okay, I like that.
But listen.
I tell you, I smell like toothpaste because all I do is brush my teeth.
Hey, I would like chat.
If y'all know the top five colognes, whether you male or female,
females, things that you like to smell.
If I were to start wearing colognes now, Ocho,
somebody going to be looking to be rich.
I say, hold on, wait a minute.
You ain't wore no cologne in 40 years.
Yeah, now you got it on.
I can show, I can show,
Just like it, Ocho.
Your girl don't work out.
I don't do no working out.
Let's just say you dating somebody and they don't work out.
All of a sudden, they start working out.
Yeah, they're working out for somebody else, bud.
To see them naked.
Yeah, who you tell you?
But you got to tell me twice.
Yeah.
I just say it.
But now, I have a warm cologne.
I'm trying to think.
Where did I go?
Somebody gave me one of those big old,
I gave me the bucket.
A ball with Tom.
for about that clone like seven hundred dollars seven hundred dollars mm-hmm
man a time for man man you know Tom for it expensive the hell I mean some
colon will be a thousand dollars yeah I'm good if Versace used to make a car but
all those all those fashion designers that all them fashion designers and you know
valentine all used to make clones mm-hmm but you know when I was growing up I
think like in high school your car
I did buy Calvin-Klellan obsession.
Everybody would, man, that Calvin Clown obsession for him.
Woo!
That was it, huh?
Hey, you could catch no fish with that bait.
There's something wrong with you?
You ain't no fisherman.
Yeah.
Yeah, man.
That Calvin, because they had those farm, their pheromones in it.
Right.
That was back of the day, Ocho, back of the day.
Long time ago.
Yeah.
Now, I just saw, I'm a body watch type of guy.
Okay.
I used to use some level 3,000
ivory
zest
I'm trying to think of the name of that damn cologne.
I think I got a screenshot.
You know, you wear it?
Yeah, every time I leave, I spray
but I don't even look at the damn bottle.
Noah Garcia, love the show, guys,
keep it up.
Ocho, pay that man.
This ain't your year again.
We good.
good.
Juicy,
1976,
Unc and Ocho,
when Marshall Arneillan passed away,
you said you had a story
and would share it later date and time,
and I will.
Bulldo TV,
85,
forget about that quick bet,
that bet quick.
He ain't forgot.
Ocho know he owed me money, man.
I'm just saying,
now talking about each about the other bet,
you're talking about for the game tonight.
Because you said when you use the word case,
I would think of something else.
But I'm good.
Yeah, me about to catch one.
Yo, Kay, love how you hold player.
You love how you hold player accountable.
I don't understand why some people can't hold guys like Allen accountable.
When he plays bad, wanting to give him all these excuses.
Then give him all the credit when he wins.
And that's how it is.
That's how, look, if you get the lion's share of the credit,
the quarterback gets the lion's share of the credit.
90% of the credit goes to the quarterback.
So when, when they win, he gets,
that's 90% of the credit.
But when they lose, we just want to make it.
No, no, no, we got to hold them accountable,
especially when he turns the ball over.
It doesn't matter who or what the circumstances.
You can't say, well, he had no help.
Well, how did he get to this?
How did he get this far?
Yeah, with help.
Exactly.
You can do it by itself.
Electra, Ocho confirmed to me you used to go to David's Cafe all the time
on London Road, Lincoln Road.
with that wild truck.
Yeah, I never forget,
Davis Cafe on 17th and Meridian, to be exact.
It was where I spent every day,
damn near every day.
If it wasn't the one on 17th and Meridian,
it was the one on 11th and Collins,
or yeah, right between Collins and Ocean.
And, oh, man, I miss,
I wonder how Adrian is doing.
Adrian was the owner back then.
And obviously, I think due to COVID
and when everything,
shut down. I think, you know, things didn't work out, but I thought I miss, well, I miss
Davis Cafe, boy, that was some good, that was some good Cuban food, boy.
Yeah, we got to get some Cuban food when I come down there. Yeah, I got a perfect place for us.
Right here down here at Havana's. I mean, I want that Cuban sandwich. Oh, yeah, well, we got
that right here. That what I'm going to get. No, no pickles, though. I don't want no pickles.
Yeah, we'll take care of you. We'll take care of you. Hey, when you come and down here,
yeah, I do the mustard. No pickle, though. You heard me?
Huh?
When you're coming down here?
I'll let you know.
I've been out of coming down there.
You know, and I'll probably come down there like March or April.
Okay, okay.
And you know, we got to pay a little visitor, you know,
a little tussies, little booby trap.
Nah, I don't want to go to them places, Ocho.
I'm trying to show you some.
Ocho, I'll be reading my daily bread.
I read the Bible now.
Your daily who?
Daily bread.
What you, you're a Jehovah's Witness now?
Mm-mm.
Don't think.
What?
I'm trying to do right.
I mean, it's okay to do right, but you still got to live.
I can live without that.
Man, please.
No, Unk, don't do no coffee now.
Dr. Frank L. Bellamy, uh, you sound and look a little better tonight.
Glad you got a chance to get some rest.
I needed it, Doc.
I need it.
Started out.
I've been fasting.
I've been doing cardio.
I'm going to get up early in the morning.
I got to catch a flight early in the morning,
but I'm going to get up about five.
o'clock and do 45 minutes a cardio okay I'm gonna get right I'm gonna get myself
about three months because I don't want to hurt myself because I got a problem
have like overdo it end up hurting myself so I'm gonna give myself like April
by my 58 birthday yeah are you a young you gonna have a party no I ain't got no
money
Yeah, I'm trying to, I'm trying to grab a bite to eat.
Okay, okay.
A food, a food, Cuban sandwiches, stuff like that.
Sam, food.
Hey, matter of fact, you want you to go get no ideas.
Not just saying, if you're in Miami, you might be eating something else.
See, there you go.
I knew it.
I'm not, no, I'm saying, I'm saying something else, like seafood, I mean, you know,
I'm allergic to shellfish.
Okay, my bad, my bad.
Yeah, that's your bad.
You try to be asleep.
You think you slick.
No, you're in Miami.
There's so many different.
We only got room for one eater.
I nominated you.
That's me.
That's me.
Brian M.
If Munkin gets the brown head coaching job,
who would you both hire as Giants OC?
I mean,
I mean,
Harba has had a lot of great relationships
over the years.
I don't.
I have no idea.
Bruce Bush Jr.,
what's up,
Unc and Ocho.
So much love from shy.
Today is my 28th birthday.
Besides your former teams,
where would y'all want to play
in both college and the NFL?
Oh, where would we want to play?
Shoot, if I could have it written like a Cinderella story,
like the perfect ending,
would I play for Famu
and play for the Dolphins.
My favorite college team growing up was Nebraska.
Tommy Fraser?
No, that was, no.
Way before they're up.
Turner Gill, Mike Rozier, Dean Stein,
cool of those guys.
Damn.
NFL, Steelers.
I love Steelers growing up.
DeShahn underscore Uncle Ocho,
who's your early national champ for next year?
Damn, we didn't even let them boy get,
it ain't been 24 hours yet.
Damn, Joe, hey.
You know what's funny.
Hey, when I think about it,
Like Indiana, we keep saying Indiana beat Miami.
Yes.
But really, Indiana is just a bunch of kids from Miami.
So Miami really just beat Miami, even though they play for Indiana.
But those kids are, look, those kids are like 22, 23 years old.
Those are that's old.
They're not the 18, 19 year old.
And that's what, that's what, you know, that's where the thing is headed.
That's where they're headed.
DJ my night.
Ocho, I know a Levin who's angry and can fit
in Buffalo or Baltimore, Trubisky Bills,
or Stout Ravens would give up their jersey, L.O.L.
There we go.
What he was trying to say.
He knew an 11 in Philly that would fit perfect in Buffalo.
He got confused and put it backwards.
I know 11 in Philly that'll look great in Buffalo.
And then he was like, I'm like, okay.
I said Chicago by accident, remember?
No, I know.
But what you should have said
is that the 11 is in Philly
that's available.
Oh, no, what I was trying to say,
but I did the purpose to make you think a little bit.
The jersey number 11 is available in Buffalo.
Yes.
So you're supposed to get your senses like,
well, who do hell wears number 11 that play receiver?
Oh, he talked about AJ.
But that was all.
Oh, I mean, since we say they need a receiver,
I was thinking about, okay,
I know a number 11 in Philly that's available,
or I know a number 11 that's available.
Not a number 11 in Buffalo that's available.
Because he's not available in Buffalo.
Now, listen, the Jersey number 11 is available.
Yes.
Yes.
It's supposed to make you think a little.
bit. That's all. Yeah, the chat was thinking, like, who is in Chicago? Who's in Buffalo? That's 11.
Yeah, see that. My bad. My bad. Or we could have got Michael Pittman. Isn't Michael
Pittman Jr. number 11? No, he wears a single digit. What's Michael Pittman Jr.'s number?
You think eight or nine, if I'm not mistaken.
11. He is 11? Yes. My bad.
Got it with a K. Ocho, are you suiting up to help us win the World Cup?
USA?
Man, please, bro.
We need, well, you're going to need more than me, boy.
You're going to need more than me.
You see Bearer.
Who do you think is the best option to coach the Raiders?
Shoot.
Jesus?
KV.
in court, man, Lamar better stay with us.
F all that other ish.
Man, Lamar ain't going nowhere, man.
Look, I think Steve made it barely clear.
I want Lamar if Lamar wants to be here.
He said it.
He said, we want to do something by March.
I mean, he laid it out today.
Hey, me and Erica fly down there, X, Y, Z, whatever we need.
That's what you want.
If not, we'll play this cap number and then go from there.
Ever Shavez-Ocho looking like Jerome from Martin.
Francisco Garcia-U-U-C-U-C-R-Garcyl.
Keithley finally get a fair shot to the hall.
He has the resume.
Longevity is missing, but the rest, he's the top two linebacker during his tenure.
I'd absolutely agree.
You're talking about a guy that was rookie of the year, a guy that's a defensive player
of the year within his first two years.
What, five-time first-time, five-a-six-time first-team all-pro, seven-time, eight-time,
pro-b bowler.
I definitely think Luke Keekley is more than worthy.
of getting there.
Marlon Mox,
Ocho is set to play Little Bill
in the new feature film.
Little Bill goes to Miami,
Eric, on Peacock, February the 25th.
I know that with my nickname
growing up too, man.
What, Lil' Bill?
He used to call me Lil' Bill.
He used to call me Lil Bill
or they called me Kill Bill.
Mm, what they call you, huh?
Yeah, Lil' Kill, yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, but, you know, I got away from that,
you know, that...
Yeah, you got out of that life.
Yeah, yeah, I got right.
I got right.
I'm King Real.
Ocho, now I told you, whenever you're ready,
I'm looking up football field,
and you're going to have to pay that money,
Patriots to the Super Bowl, Lakers and Five.
Uh, Miss, Miss Patrice, Shannon is funny.
Max ain't getting traded.
Raiders have the second highest cap space,
and we have 10 picks in the draft.
We're going to be fine.
Miss Patrice, you're not.
You're not going to be fine.
And you need to hit all of them.
those picks to even have a chance.
Brian M. Stedham can be the next Hostetler.
He got the defense, just like the 1990s.
I'm taking the underdog.
But you guys do realize
Hosteller just didn't start the playoffs.
He had started.
Phil Sims had got hurt.
He was starting.
Phil came back.
Coach Parcell stuck with him.
Y'all said Tom Brady did it.
Tom Brady had started like 12 games
and in the playoffs.
Y'all said Nick Foles.
Nick Foles had been a starter.
He had started, I think, the last three games
and the two games in the postseason.
And then he's the Super Bowl.
This is not the same scenario.
No.
None of those guys just started the NFC or the AFC championship game.
Sean Payton believes in him.
Sean said this guy could be a starter for another team.
So we're going to find out.
We're going to find out.
Brandon Crowe.
What team do you see
Jeremiah Smith making the biggest impact
when he gets drafted in 27?
You got to realize
who's up there.
Who's up there that needs a receiver?
They're going to take him.
He still got another year, huh?
Yeah.
Yeah, they're saying in 27.
Yeah, ain't, you know, depending.
We don't know who's going to be, you know,
the bottom three.
Hell, he might be.
He might be a first pick.
Yeah, I was just getting ready to say that.
He might be one.
Remedy, Unk, please remind Ocho that Pinkin's not going anywhere.
Jerry loves him and can afford him.
He'll get franchise tag at minimum.
No.
Just enjoy it, Ocho.
He can't afford him.
He can afford him at a goddamn lower price.
God, you, y'all fans so selfish, man.
Let the man go get his bread and get his...
Come on, man.
What's wrong with y'all, man?
Ghali.
Be more cow.
Do you believe Brian Flores will ever get a...
another head coaching job in the NFL.
I do.
Michael Alans,
do you think bills will be making a change,
swing for their next head coach,
maybe someone under contract
with a year left on a deal?
Coaches don't really normally,
it doesn't normally work like that with coaches.
I mean, we did see Coach Belichick go for a trade.
We saw,
I think, who else got traded?
John Gruden.
I think Hermel was two.
Did her men?
I think Herman was, didn't herm levels get traded?
Herm.
Yeah.
Mr. Jack, Yacomo, you guys are awesome.
Thanks, Jack.
Appreciate you watching.
Mike and Mike, what's up, Unco?
Ocho, Ocho, are you going to send Kurt a gift from the purchase you made today from,
from, uh-huh.
Kurt, who, who you owe?
I don't know.
Besides me.
I don't own nobody, boy, I don't bet with nobody.
Spicy wife for life.
Miami homegrown, South Miami,
Grey Ghost, Fernando,
Uteam, love Uncan Ocho.
Thank you.
Appreciate that.
Appreciate that.
Oh, you were so right about Tomlin,
Harbaugh, McDermott.
I know a little something, but hey.
Thank you guys for joining us

They finished the season, 16 and all.
They won the Peach Bowl, run the Rose Bowl,
won the National Championship,
won the Big Ten Championship.
They got the Heisman Trophy winner.
Didn't Signetti win coach of the year?
I don't think so.
But they won a lot.
Indiana is the football capital of the country right now.
Thanks to a 2721 victory,
their Hoosiers take down the Miami Hurricanes
and cap a perfect season.

Hoosiers sit atop of college football, thanks to a 27, 21 victory.
They cap the most improbable run to a national championship that we've seen.
I don't know if we've ever seen a run like this from a team like this.
16 and O, Heisman trophy winner, quarterback, Big Ten champs, and now national champ.
Congratulations to the Indiana Hoosiers.
And thank you guys for joining us for another episode of Nightcap.
I'm Unp, he's Ocho.
We're off tomorrow.
We'll see you with it.
Peace.
