Sinners arrive only in theaters on April 18th, rated R. Under 17, not admitted without parent. ["The Big Story Theme"] K-Mart The Big Story this week, John Moran. Spencer Haywood told TMZ that John's ruining his career.
Starting point is 00:04:04 He said, the people that are around him are not advising him right. He's ruining his career. He's ruining his family's life and his team most importantly. He's letting all of them down. So I'm just disappointed in John. K-Mart, you're an elder statesman. You were the boss of Reason a lot of times. Sometimes you unreasonably lock a room. But if you have a young guy like John immensely talented and he keeps doing this kind of stuff what would you say to him Kmart? Yeah that's the honest conversation man like you gotta the one you gotta have a rapport with him outside of basketball right?
Starting point is 00:04:41 Oh yeah. That's first and foremost you You got to be able to relate to him on some level. So once you have that, you establish that. Yes, it's. It's being honest with him, man. But at some point, words, words are not enough. And in this situation, unfortunately, I'm starting to see that words and certain things don't matter, no matter who's in his locker room.
Starting point is 00:05:12 I think that's why they call Marcus Smart in, right? Initially, to try to be there. Marcus Smart has had some hiccups, he's been feisty, he's been mad and is in the NBA to try to be there. been that and is an NBA to try to be that. But when, when your immediate surroundings and immediate family are not helping the situation, there's nothing that me as a vet can say to you because we all can do it. So I only have you for a certain amount of time during the day. Right. I'm not going to follow you home. I'm not going to hold your hand. We don't really together, you know?
Starting point is 00:05:49 So we're not living the same complex. We're not doing these things. So I can do everything in my power. But once you leave and once you're around your guys and your family. Sometimes those people have more influence than the guys who you should be looking up to. You should be for that influence. And unfortunately, in this situation, that's what it is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Hey, you know, Kay, and when it comes to players like this, players of this magnitude, players that are this good, players like this that have a certain type of individuals around them, so most of the time we call them, we call them yes men. I'm gonna just say what it is. You got a bunch of dudes around you that are not gonna tell you what you wanna hear. And nobody wanna get their water cut off, as I call it. So I think somebody has to be an elder statesman
Starting point is 00:06:40 that's part of the NBA, that conducted themselves somewhat in a similar manner that John looks up to when he When he was younger That played now, maybe they could get get through to him and get him that get him to understand No, the NBA is not against you No, there's certain things that you got in trouble for in the past So the third certain things you can't do it you can't get away with based on past behaviors. That's all.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Yes, other players at NBA might be doing the little gestures or whatever, but they also haven't had issues with doing anything or brandishing weaponry outside of the game of basketball. So it's different. So you held to a different standard. You got to understand that. Who the OG in the streets?
Starting point is 00:07:27 This way this would need to happen The real og in the streets No, John said John cut this bill. I'm somebody in these streets because we have to be you pretending This read that what we do this real over here. Oh, but I'm trying who is he trying to impress? Because me personally, I don't think John Hood. I don't think job out that life that looks good. He's I mean he waited that that looked good. I mean the people are all man john john not like that I know people that are like that that'll lay it down like that, but he ain't him. You work your whole, K-Mart, you say you from Old Cliff,
Starting point is 00:08:11 you worked your whole life to get out of that environment. Why would you get out of that environment and then try to prove that you still down? No, I'm not down, that ain't me. We're not, no, I'm not down. No, no. I left all the aid. The Lord blessed me beyond blessed. He helped me get out of that situation. And then I'm still going to pretend I said, you can't have no, no firearm to protect yourself. But it's the people that is the people that you don't think got the fire that assess. It's one thing of having is one thing that's willing to use.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Two totally separate conversation. Right. And the city that he lives in, they bought that man. They bought it. Yeah, we all know this man. So, and I put this, so I've, I sat this on Gills and Reno bad. And I spoken to say a person who I'm about to mention
Starting point is 00:09:11 right now sets the opposite. I put a lot of this on T Moran. I put a lot of this behavior on him. The first, okay, you want to let your child grow up. Cool. He's a professional athlete now. Cool. You want to let your child grow up cool. He's a professional athlete. Now cool. You want to give him a little leeway, a little rope to be him to find himself to do all these things. Yes, absolutely. But when it's become detrimental to his career and his brand or who he is, we got to reevaluate some things son. We got to go back to the drawing boy son. We can't
Starting point is 00:09:42 do these things son. I can't be at the game behaving this way son. I got to go back to the drawing boy son. We can't do these things son I can't be at the game behaving this way son I got a new gift with son so we could do so all of these things they have to do collectively to change people images on Job the family and Grizzlies all of it. It has to be a collective Effort because if not, we all know the only thing we respect as athletes is playing time and money. Yeah. And these little snap on the wrist and this and the third like I tell people all the time man and God rest David Stern's soul. If this was David Stern's NBA, none of them, he make an example out of it. You're not going to make a mockery of this logo.
Starting point is 00:10:28 You're not going to continue to make a mockery of this. We want. Even as great as he is? David Stern didn't care. He don't care nothing about that. You're not bigger than that logo, man. You're not, as y'all say, the shield, right? No one is bigger than y'all shield, right?
Starting point is 00:10:44 Yes, sir. David Stern carried that NBA logo the same as the NFL shield. You're not bigger than that. He would have made an example out of John. This man told me the words out of his, David Stern's mouth to my ears, son, if you want to continue to be a part of this NBA, you will change your ways. And this for me fighting on the floor. This had nothing about firearms, me getting in trouble. This this for me fighting on the floor. This had nothing about firearms, me getting in trouble. This just for me fighting on the floor
Starting point is 00:11:10 and giving me this warning. So what you think the message would have been for this situation with these kids? I don't care. I don't care about your kind of- K. Y. youth. K. Y. youth in the league, when everybody had,
Starting point is 00:11:23 if you remember everybody used to wear the baggy pants and had the tall T's, and David Star said, y'all gonna clean this issue up. Kay, you was in the league when everybody had, if you remember everybody used to wear the baggy pants and had the tall tees, and David started saying, y'all gonna clean this issue up. He said, we got too much money at stake, sponsors, advertisers, this is over. Nah, this man put in a dress code, dawg. Cause dudes was coming to the game to throw back jerseys
Starting point is 00:11:39 and then wearing throwback jerseys stuff on the bench. He put in a dress code. Hey Kay, but I got about 70 of those. Come on, man. We got, no, it's, it's, it's lessons need to be learned in this current situation we do just recently. The whole gun thing, they find you 75 and you come back and you post pew pew. Like, it ain't, it ain't enough.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Like you gotta, somebody got to step in. It ain't enough. Somebody got to step in. I hope, I hope he, I hope he, John figures it out because he, he doesn't realize how much money he's like actually costing himself with this. I mean, you know, Hey, yeah, he has the Nike deal, but Nike is not only brand that pays money. They have so many other brands that he's missing out on so many more, so many opportunities.
Starting point is 00:12:27 You know, he, he, a lot of times, a lot of people thought he could be the face of the NBA, the charismatic, the way he can play the game, he's, he's, he's a small guy and the NBA loves small guys. They love guards and he has it. And I just don't know why he wants to perpetuate this type of behavior But they eat his own. Kmart thanks for joining us. Hey guys everybody do us a favor go follow Kmart on IG Kmart what's your IG number? And everything is Kenyon Marti Sr. man. You know what I'm saying? That's Kenyon Marti Sr. everything IG

Starting point is 00:13:46 That's the jacket. I want that. Nah. Hey, I'm scared. Hey, hey, I'm looking for it. That's one on one. I can't find it. I want that.

Starting point is 00:14:28 but I did get it. But yes, I did. Appreciate that. Absolutely. All right. I appreciate it, man. Thanks for joining us, Kay Martin. We'll see you down the road. All right, Kay Martin. That's your boy. Salute. Kay Martin, Kenyon Martin, the last senior to be
Starting point is 00:14:44 drafted number one overall in the 2000 draft, taken number one overall by the New Jersey Nets. When he was there, they went to back to back NBA finals. They lost to Shaq and Kobe. They lost to the great Tim Duncan and that squad. But Kenyon Martin was a hell of a player, a tremendous defensive player. Um, but he was also the last of the true enforcers. They don't make them like that anymore.
Starting point is 00:15:07 But Kenya couldn't fight like he could back then because they take all his money. And I know he don't want to get that up. So thank you for joining us. Oh Joe, they've been a big discourse was created over the weekend when draft expert tweeted Lots of double taps and hitches from should do it today NFL defenders closed windows quickly. This was a concerning workout Andre Cisco said boy better stop patting that ball. We breaking all that early But Darius Slayton jumped in and said, I promise you can pat the ball just fine if a DB was so good at breaking on the ball and pass they'd have eight plus picks a year. Same guys that follow the two-man dagger concept
Starting point is 00:15:53 and give up digs in the third and long every season. All season long talking about boy pat the ball what a joke. I said the exact same thing. I said the exact same thing. Right. All the experts the DB's told. I said the exact same thing. Right. All that, all that, all the, all the expert, the DBS, all that Pat, no matter, they go drive on that. Man, listen, they not driving on nothing. Man, stop playing. This is a timing game. It's always been a timing game.
Starting point is 00:16:16 It always has been. Quarterbacks have been patting the ball since the beginning of time. It just, it's a part, it's a part of rhythm. It's a part of rhythm throwing as well. Sometimes you hit, sometimes you don't. Sometimes you hit, sometimes you don't. Sometimes you pat, sometimes you don't. Sometimes the pat is for the timing of the actual throw. Waiting for the receiver to get open.
Starting point is 00:16:33 It's a part of the rhythm when you plan. Ash, how many chip picks does Cisco have? Hey, when you throw, when John Elway throw that skinny route, right? Yeah. He hit that seven. When you hit that seven step, the ball is gone. Yes. Now play like that.
Starting point is 00:16:50 There's no hitching. There's no pack cause the ball's coming out on time. Right. You got a dig route. You got a curve route. There's a pat on the ball. If you get to that fifth step, if you're not at your break yet, it just is on the step if you're not at your break yet. It just is. On the corner route, the deep ball, when you hit that seven step, you got play. You're taking five with a hitch. My point exactly. Whoever that was,
Starting point is 00:17:19 for one, we talk about in shorts and we talk it on air. Turn on the goddamn film. Watch all 32 NFL quarterbacks on drop back passes. You'll see all of them take hitches. You'll see all of them pat the ball. It's a part of the game and always has been. That's called nitpicking, trying to find something wrong to say, and then you loud and wrong. You loud and wrong.
Starting point is 00:17:46 You loud and wrong. Well, hopefully everybody go get their chance to see. But Ocho, at this point in juncture, everybody's trying to find fault. You know, he's drunk. Always. You know, he's getting his head around too quick before the break. D.B. gonna take key on that.
Starting point is 00:18:04 He's not dropping his hips or he's doing this. He's tilting the route, he's leaning into the route. As DB, you know, I get it. I get it, I get it. Just for me, you hope like, oh, chill, the way I look at it, game film is the most important. Now, if I'm looking at a game,
Starting point is 00:18:23 if I'm looking at a guy's game tape, I'm watching. Now, if he looks fast, when he goes to the compound, I hope he runs fast. I hope he's quick. I hope he jumps high. So now that cooperates what I've seen on tape. Now, if there's something that I see on tape that I don't see when he tests,
Starting point is 00:18:41 I got to go back and evaluate, okay, did I miss something on show he tests, I got to go back and evaluate. Okay, did I miss something, Ocho? What am I missing? Then, because at the end of the day, I still believe tape is the most important. And I give you a prime example. Ozzy, he took Terrell Suggs. Terrell Suggs ran four eight with track spikes and a jock.
Starting point is 00:19:04 I say, Ozzy, how you take this man with a top 10 pick eight with tracks, bikes and a jock. I say, Ozzy, how you take this man with a top 10 pick and he ran four eight and he looked me damn by somebody got them 24 sacks. Somebody got the 24 sack. He's a son. You watch him bend the edge. That's it. Okay. You understand quickly. I said, son, you watch him bend the edge. That's what I said, okay. You understand quickly.
Starting point is 00:19:25 I said, okay. Yeah. Okay, okay, okay. And look, why am I arguing with Ozzy? Look at the Hall of Famers he's got. Ray Lewis, Jonathan Ogden, Ed Reed, Suggs gonna be a Hall of Famer. Lamar Jackson's gonna be a Hall of Famer.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Marsha Yande's gonna be a Hall of Famer. Lamar Jackson is gonna be a Hall of Famer. Mm-hmm. Marsha Yande is gonna be a Hall of Famer. So, I mean, what are we doing here? Yeah. At the end of the day, watch the tape. Do you see? What do you see on tape? Everybody has things that are correct. Y'all make it seem like Peyton and Tom and everybody. There's something you can get better at. But to say a guy is flawless is just not true.
Starting point is 00:20:09 No, not at all. Not at all. You can, listen, you can break down people's tape right now. You can break down people's tape right now that are in the league that are some of the best at their positions right now. And you can find flaws in their games. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:20:23 You can find, all you have to do is nitpick you can nip it you can nick pick on any and everybody There was always something to continue to work on. Yeah matter how long you been playing this game because you'll never be perfect No matter how much you strive for you strive for perfection You will always fall short because you're human and it will always be human error in everything that you do So I listen I understand what the guy was saying with the scout, whoever tweeted that out. I don't think they really understand that the game of football in general
Starting point is 00:20:52 before making that general statement, when all quarterbacks do this, they all do based on the play, based on the length of the route. I mean, it made no sense. It was so funny to see Micah going back and forth and Darrius Slayton talking trash. That was funny. And most of the time the quarterback, they have the ball. How many times you see the quarterback bring the ball over one hand and throw it? They bring the ball up here like this here on choke. Exactly. And then that rhythm throw,
Starting point is 00:21:21 it's a pack and let it go. Yes. A pack and let it go. Just to keep the timing and continuity of the play going. Like, you know, smoke route, a slant, quick out, you can't hit you like that. Cause then you're going the other way. It's coming out. It's coming out right away. And listen, it better be early and outside too.
Starting point is 00:21:40 Yes. Yes. You're absolutely right. Because when you throw it one two three that ball gotta go I'm getting that they drive it on back now Yeah And the funny and the funny thing about it think about it we talk about the good DB's and NFL The first three them first three steps and they not even looking at the receiver. They're looking at the quarterback exactly
Starting point is 00:22:00 They look at the quarterback So once once that arm is gone the bus why the best one ball placement is so important because the good DBs are not even looking at the receiver Until after that fourth or fifth step. That's how you that's how we get them on the sluggo. So you do this Oh, yeah, yeah And now they throw it over top of your head Or they get the stuff the stunner go cuz you went to he drop his heel and uh-huh and the quarterback does that Yeah, but listen eight as a DB when they double move you you better have hell of a hips and transition Oh, yeah, nah, you're gonna have some beautiful hips and we have a transition just tackle it
Starting point is 00:22:40 Because because what he's gonna because what he's gonna do is that he knows once you know he's beat you start to come up, he's gonna get outside. He's gonna get outside your room. So you might as well just say, interfere with him. I'm not giving up anything cheap or deep. But I don't really take anything from anybody throwing the ball in shorts and saying because that's not how you play the game of football. Right. What did the guy, when you watch the guy in shorts, no, is he Lamar Jackson as far as athleticism? No. Does he have a Patrick Mahomes arm? No. But he has an arm that's plenty good enough. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Are you telling me that Tom Brady, are you telling me Peyton Manning, are you telling me Philip Reilly? Are you telling me Drew Reese are more athletic than should do it? No, they're not No, no, and they got it done. I'm not saying he's gonna be any of those guys, but we're talking about just athleticism I mean there ain't no guy. I mean with this. I mean Is he accurate? Because I've seen a lot of guys. can't. He's not just accurate. He's insanely accurate. Insanely. Can throw every ball.
Starting point is 00:23:52 And every ball he throws is catchable. They got some receivers. They got some quarterbacks out there. Throughout the years now, they've thrown a very difficult ball to catch. I agree. A la number four, who your brother played for. You know, tearing people hands up, splitting the web with their fingers. You know that, I mean he was a gunslinger. That's
Starting point is 00:24:13 what he was known for. But Shidori is extremely accurate. He does a great job of throwing, has great anticipatory skills. He does a great job of throwing guys open. That's the difference between college and the NFL. The pros. Right. Even when you think the guy isn't open, you throw him open. Guys ain't gonna be running or having no five and ten and three yard separation in the NFL. No, not a league. Unless there's a blown coverage the guy falls down or something.
Starting point is 00:24:39 But most of the time, you're gonna have to fit a ball into a tight window. Most of the time, you're gonna have to fit a ball into a tight window. Something unexpected happened after Jeremy Scott confessed to killing Michelle Schofield in Bone Valley Season 1. I just knew him as a kid. Long, silent voices from his past came forward. And he was just staring at me. And they had secrets of their own to share. Um, Gilbert King. I'm the son of Jeremy Lynn Scott. I was no longer just telling the story.
Starting point is 00:25:14 I was part of it. Every time I hear about my dad, it's, oh, he's a killer. He's just straight evil. I was becoming the bridge between a killer and the son he'd never known. If the cops and everything would have done their job properly, my dad would have been in jail. I would have never existed.
Starting point is 00:25:29 I never expected to find myself in this place. Now, I need to tell you how I got here. At the end of the day, I'm literally a son of a killer. Bone Valley Season 2. Jeremy Jeremy, I want to tell you something. Listen to new episodes of Bone Valley Season 2 starting April 9th on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And to hear the entire new season, ad free with exclusive content starting April 9th. Subscribe to Lava for Good Plus on Apple podcasts.
Starting point is 00:26:12 And also something he doesn't get credit for. We always bring up him not being a dual threat, not being able to run, but his pocket presence. Yes. His pocket, he has great pocket presence in his ability and short area quickness to be able to extend plays, not get away from people like Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen, but extend plays to make throws downfield. He's been, he's very good at that, especially if you watch, obviously we watched Colorado all last year and we understand that despite all the sacks he took because, listen, we know one of the issues obviously with them was their own line. His offensive line wasn't very good.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Yeah. Ain't no, ain't no way around it, Ochoa's offensive line wasn't very good. It's not like we're breaking news. You watch the game and there's a time that he's going to have to throw the ball away. You just throw the ball away. You live to see another day. You don't want to take that unnecessary punishment and you don't want to take your team out of field goal range or you don't want to make it third and long or second and long.
Starting point is 00:27:05 Hey, throw the ball away, live to see another day. And that comes with maturity. I mean, the guy's only, what, 21, 22 years of age. So it takes time, and he'll get better. The Peyton Manning that you saw, the great quarterback that you saw in the rookie season, they weren't that the midway through and at the tail end of their career.
Starting point is 00:27:23 They were better. You get better. You learn they were better you get better You learn more once you come to the nfl you start studying tape You start watching you pick up things and you you self-evaluate yourself That's what the really great ones do they'll value they self-evaluate themselves like hey That's what mofo covered me. Damn. I tipped off this route But but think about think about the names that you just said, the Tom Brady's, the Peyton Manning's, when they first started, where their years weren't
Starting point is 00:27:49 exceptional as opposed to how they ended up. Yeah. But who's to say Shadour doesn't go somewhere, right? Right. You see how he talked in that press where he said, whoever's serious about me and wanting to franchise change the quarterback, that's who needs to sign me. Who says he doesn't come in and have a season like CJ Shroud did, depending on where he goes? Who's saying I come and have a season like Jaden Daniels did with the Commanders, depending on where, you know, depending on where he goes. But what if he has that belief where his presence alone hides everything else around him? Who the hell knew Jaden Daniels wouldn't go to the Commanders and turn the franchise around just like that in six months
Starting point is 00:28:27 The great quarterbacks. Yeah, go to Houston and Turn the the Texas around in six months. Yeah Come on, man I'm gonna tell him ain't no telling what's gonna happen But hey, let's just give him an opportunity. Let's see where he goes. Hopefully go someplace and has a good offensive coordinator, good head coach, have great talent around him. Because if you go back and look, Ocho,
Starting point is 00:28:58 what did CJ have around him? Nico Collins, Tank Dale, had Dalton Shopes, nice tight end. Look at Jay Daniels, had nice, hey they had Zach Erds, they had Terry, scary Terry McLaurin. Uh-huh. Well listen, I like that you just broke that down. Now look at the places that he had the chance to go to. We got the Browns, right? Mm-hmm. Got Njoku, we got my young, we got Jerry Judy, we got Mariah. I'm not sure who the number two is. Who's the number two?
Starting point is 00:29:29 I forget the guy I know you talking about. He was okay, but you know, once they moved on from Amari, I forget the guy's name, Ochoa. He took over, I can't remember, I can't remember myself. But then, okay, let's say it's not Cleveland. Let's say the Giants You got Malik Nablus. Yep And Darryl, I think Slayton is still there too, right? Didn't they retire Slayton? We got Slayton who was just arguing with Michael Parsons. Yep. You know, come on, come on now
Starting point is 00:30:00 Come on now We can work with that I just think the thing is that sometimes we have false perceptions that we think the guy coming in should be a finished product and that's the best he's going to be. And they don't realize that these guys have an opportunity to get better. That's not the best, that shouldn't be the best that they are. They should incrementally get better. And you work at it, you study, you put the time in, good things normally happen.
Starting point is 00:30:30 So, what, Elijah Moore? Oh, Elijah Moore, hey, Elijah Moore. I think they got him. They got him from. Elijah Moore from Clemson. He could run some routes now. He got some feet on him. He came from the Carls.
Starting point is 00:30:45 Huh? Huh? It's something to go without. Cedric Tillman. Where did Cedric Tillman come from? Cedric Tillman. I played with a guy named Cedric Tillman. We went to Alcorn State.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Hey, I know Elijah Moore is, boy, he can run some routes, boy. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, he's a smaller guy, good in the slot. But you know, he can run some routes, bro. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's small a guy good You got some routes, but you know Jerry Judy is tremendous in that slot Jerry Judy. I was happy for Jerry Yeah, the hell of a season because look he wasn't getting the opportunities. They didn't have the quarterback. He go frustrated I think the thing is like when you it's easy when you're young receiver Oh to get down cuz a fan start booing you It's easy when you're a young receiver, I want you to get down. Got fans start booing you, coaches will pull you, playing time all of a sudden.
Starting point is 00:31:27 You normally play a 45 plays, you play a 20. Well how the hell do you expect me to show you something in 20 plays when at least five of those, the quarterback's gonna get flushed. Another five, I'm not the number one option. I might not even be the second option, I might be third option and second and two of those gonna be screened. He gonna get sacked on another three. So how the hell you expect me to do something with 20 plays that I'm really only involved in about seven of them?
Starting point is 00:31:53 Hey, I'm excited man. I can't wait for football. Elijah Moore, come on. I can't wait. I'm gonna draft. The draft next week, huh? Yeah, he was there. He was there last year. Elijah Moore, he's not there anymore, Ocho. He was there last football. I can't wait. The draft the draft next week. Yeah. Yeah, he was there. He was there last year Elijah
Starting point is 00:32:06 More he thought there anymore. Oh, you know Because I remember him catching a catch of the pair a couple of passes against the Broncos. That's what a name but Okay, say Jerry Judy Cedric Tillman and some guy named Michael Woods obviously in joke who's there Yeah, what? Okay. What hell we could work with that too Jerry Judy, Cedric Tillman, and some guy named Michael Woods, obviously, and Joe Coo's there. Yeah. What? Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:26 Well, hell, we could work with that too. We good. We good. We could work with that. Shoo. Coach Prime confronts the NFL scout, DFCU pro day. He walked up and said, do what y'all do, telling his kids to ignore the NFL scouts. I like that.
Starting point is 00:32:45 I think what it was is that the 40 time, he said, look, whatever you guys have been practicing, do that. You do that. Yeah. Don't listen to those scouts coming in and telling people how, how to do something that they've been training for all this time. And here you go coming in, changing up what they've been doing. Whatever they, whatever the continuity is, whatever the rhythm, whatever they've been training,
Starting point is 00:33:06 you come and tell them to do it this way. Man, if you don't get out of the way, what are you talking about? Hey, crowd hug the line, get as close to the line as you possibly can, whatever the lean that your guys are talking about, because you gotta come to a stop, you know, cause the thing is that, you know,
Starting point is 00:33:21 you're trying to get as much lean as you possibly can. Right. Hey, whatever you've been practicing for the last six to eight weeks, do that. That's what you do. Keep doing it. Hey, I ain't mean scout, man. I hate when they do that, man. They, you know, get a little power,
Starting point is 00:33:36 come in there, try to abuse it. Hey, I want you to do it to know. No, I'm not gonna listen to you. I just met you. And I've been training all this time, doing it a certain way. Right. Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:33:51 I'm feeling good tonight, bro. What else you got? Man, y'all know how prime is with about them kids now. Oh yeah, you don't play. You don't play. Don't come in that mess. Listen, for one, you're already in a pressing situation. Yes. You're already in a pressing situation where you got to perform. Now don't, we don't
Starting point is 00:34:09 we don't need the scout coming in trying to conduct and have players do everything the exact same way. Go about your business. Oh Joe, Peyton Manning had a bold plan to get Joe Thomas off the browns. Joe Thomas revealed on a recent episode of Tom and Hawk football show that the legendary quarterback once called him with a plan to get him cut loose from the organization. He's like, all right, here's the game plan.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Go into your GM's office when he's not there, pull your pants down and take a dump on his desk. Then they can't do anything but trade you.. Then they can't do anything but trade you. Or then they can't do anything but trade you. And then you come with me, play with a football. Peyton, I appreciate your humor as always. I appreciate that you want me. That really gives me a lot of warm fuzzies, but I'm not going to be able to poop on my GM's desk.
Starting point is 00:35:00 Hey, that's funny. That's funny. You know where I got that story from? There was a player that actually did something very similar to that. Wait, somebody really did that in a movie? I ain't going to put it out there. Nope. Hold on, in real life? Yeah, it's out there.
Starting point is 00:35:15 Come on, man. In real life? Yep. Okay, listen, I'm not going to ask for no names. I'm not going to ask for what team. I just want to know what year. That's what team. I just wanna know what year. That's all, I just wanna know the year. Cause it couldn't have been anything in the 2000s. It definitely could have been nothing in the 90s.
Starting point is 00:35:31 It was in the 90s. Early 90s. Yep. Okay, okay, I get it. Cause back then in the early 90s, y'all boys was wild. They was. Y'all boys was wild. And it kinda, it's different now where the owners and the owners more so have more control
Starting point is 00:35:51 because the money's a little different. Back then, I could see, it didn't look like the, to me, the players controlled the league back then. They didn't. What's it called? Well, it's called, Tagliabue. He came in when I came in, he left when I left 14 years. That was it.
Starting point is 00:36:09 And then Roger took over. He took him for Pete Roselle, Pete Roselle, uh, Tagliabue tags with a little bit more player friendly. Right. Um, but yeah, that would have definitely got, that definitely would've got you a cut, you're all traded Joe, if you had done that. Like I said. It actually happened.
Starting point is 00:36:31 I can't picture nobody doing that, honestly. Can you imagine today's game, a player being that upset and wanting to be traded, and you go upstairs to your GM office and you take a poo-poo on his desk, nobody even has the you-know-what to pull that off. Oh, Joe, former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones, one of the best players in franchise history, announced his retirement from the NFL. Jones, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, a two-time first team All-Pro selection during his 13 NFL seasons. He twice led the NFL in receiving yards 2015-2018 and he's the Falcons all-time leader in receptions
Starting point is 00:37:14 848 receiving yards 12,896 his 60 receiving touchdowns mark second in Falcons history behind Roddy White. How will you Ocho remember Julio? as Mark Second in Falcons history behind Roddy White. How will you, Ocho, remember Julio? Well, Julio Jones, one of the best to ever play this game, man. We talk about top five, we talk about top, listen, might be top five.
Starting point is 00:37:37 Honestly, to come out of Alabama, man, one of the greatest ever. I enjoy watching Julio play. Somebody, it's so funny, right? Watching Julio Jones play, there's a young fella down in Ohio State that's from Miami. Who looks something just like him. Jeremiah Smith. Oh yeah, Jeremiah Smith who might be the second coming
Starting point is 00:37:56 of Julio Jones. But man, Julio Julio was awesome to watch, man, throughout his entire career. Some of the things he could do on the field. That 300-year-old game he had against the Carolina Panthers was unbelievable. man throughout his entire career. Some of the things he could do on the field. That 300-yard game he had against the Carolina Panthers was unbelievable. When he snatched that goddamn ball off the top
Starting point is 00:38:11 of Luke Kinkley here at that time. When he snapped that ball away from Malcolm Butler in the end zone for that man. There are some great highlights of Julio Jones. Julio, I know you're gonna see this, boy. I've always been a fan of yours. I've always showed you your love and gave you your flowers while you was actually still playing.
Starting point is 00:38:27 I'm still a fan to this day. You gonna get you that gold jacket because you definitely a Hall of Famer. Oh for sure. And you top five in my book. You know I would have to shuffle the five around a little bit, but you belong in it. I salute you on a great career.
Starting point is 00:38:43 And that's it Amazing career nice Cosmic Pro had a great career. I wish you could have finished his career in Atlanta comes, you know Bouncing around no joke. He went to where he went to I think he went to he went to Tennessee After he left that right? I think he went to Tennessee. He went to Tampa and he went to New England. No, Philly. Yeah. But man, he had a Man if only if only they could have closed out that Super Bowl. That 283 game? And he had an amazing catch that had him in field goal range. And Mike Ryan took a sack. On the sideline, right? On the sideline.
Starting point is 00:39:25 Yep. Woo hoo. Hey. Woo. Oh Joe, Alexander Ovechkin. Ovi. Ovi, he passed Wayne Gretzky. He passed, he broke Rain Gretzky's record.
Starting point is 00:39:42 Gretzky had a mark of 894 goals that had stood since he retired from hockey in 1999. Obedskin scored his record-setting 895th goal in the second period against the New York Islanders in the same game. 894 came in 1487 games for Gretzky. 1487 games, 895 came from Ovi. The matchup was immediately paused, and the ceremony with Gretzky on site took place, and he commemorate the moment. Me personally, I didn't think anybody could break this record.
Starting point is 00:40:20 Right. Didn't. And it seems like he's gonna, I mean, he's going to be well into 900s because I don't think he's going to retire. I mean, you look at the guys that are close now, I mean, I don't think C is going to play enough games. C Crosby can't catch him. I mean, maybe maybe some of these, what's this guy at the Edmonton Orleans?
Starting point is 00:40:41 What's his guy name? Maybe he or the guy at Colorado, but. McKinnon, McKinnon? Yeah, McKinnon, yeah. McKinnon or, God, dog it. I don't know, it's slipping my mind. You know, I watch hockey too. I don't know why it's slipping my mind like this.
Starting point is 00:40:59 I know, he played with the Edmonton Orleans. He's, he's. McDavid, Conor McDavid. Conor McDavid. Conor McDavid. Conor McDavid, yes. Yeah. Hey them boys good. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:11 McDavid and McKinnon, McKinnon and McDavid is like Jamar Chastain and Justin Jefferson. I mean, that's the only comparison I can think of in football terms. But Ovi now has the record. And I think he's only, he did one franchise. He's only been with the Capitals, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:33 Cause Gretzky was in Edmonton and then he went to the Kings. But he brought hockey to Southern California. Hey, speaking of hockey, you ever been, you ever, no, I went to the- I went to one, Boomer Sasa. Boomer told me to tell you what's up. For real? Yeah, I saw him Saturday. Yeah, I went to a couple of Rangers games.
Starting point is 00:41:59 Okay, okay, okay. I was just making a show. You've been able to sit up close to the glass and understand- Oh yeah, we were right there on ice. Yeah I yeah listen how special the game of hockey is now It doesn't get the love it deserves because there's so many other sports that we have to choose from and watch But man a hockey game of clothes. It's about first dates Now I said I said taking a woman to go watch NASCAR because it's different as some she's probably haven't done before But watch NASCAR outside is a good date, but hockey and you get some tickets on the glass Man listen and wear a jacket too. Could I be cold as hell in there? Oh, yeah
Starting point is 00:42:31 You know, that's the whole point. Huh? You take us a hockey game And she what there you go, she want to cuddle with you, huh? And you get smashed into it is See that's why I can't take you anything. Can't take you nowhere Ash. Only Ash will put a beer on the wall and have him slash into it and get everybody sprayed with beer.
Starting point is 00:42:56 Oh Joe, Mariah Carey's 13 year old son gets embarrassed when she walked into his room and ended up on his Twitch stream. Let's take a look. Too late, bro. No, you can't say hi. Mom, stop. Why are you doing this? Hey, hey, that's funny.
Starting point is 00:43:54 I got to understand it. Listen, I don't think he understands that actually helps his Twitch stream. That man don't care nothing about that. You know? No, hell no. You're like, come on, mom. Come on now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:07 And can you imagine your mom and Mariah Carey you on Twitch and she coming to Beyonce and the- Yeah, and anybody can be Beyonce or Adele, whoever. Can you imagine? And I don't care about that, yes. And could you imagine Blue Ivy stream playing video games and stuff and Beyonce happened to walk in the back or Jay happened to walk in the back and come in the stream
Starting point is 00:44:26 Man, that's a that'll be a that that'd be dope Like that'd be dope because but you have to realize or Joe kids don't view their parents like the outside world You're right. You're just mom. You just dead Right, you're all that on the fan fair to come along with it. I't care nothing about that. Don't care nothing about it. Right. Nothing. So. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:44:48 You ever embarrass your kids, Ocho? You know, at this point, my kids, they're so much older now. Now what I will do to embarrass them, graduations or stuff like that, dance recitals, cheerleading recitals, track meet. I'll be extra, extra loud on purpose in certain moments. In certain moments, just to have a little fun.
Starting point is 00:45:15 But I try not to put any attention on me, especially when I go to things that they're doing. I try to make sure it's all about them. So I do that very, very, very, very seldom, very seldom. Titus, what's up? What? Titus, look at me. He said, I'm getting my ears scratched right now.
Starting point is 00:45:32 He said, dad been out of town. I haven't been able to get my shine. Titus, what's up, twin? He said, I'm gonna get me a profile. He said, I'm trying to develop me a profile, little chump. There you go, there you go. He said, I'm trying to give me a profile. How tall are you?
Starting point is 00:45:46 On my high legs, I'm about two and a half. Okay, maybe almost three. I said, I just got a bath. I smell good. I say, what did you have today? Tell them what you had today. What did you eat today? Did you eat daddy chicken?
Starting point is 00:46:03 He said, yeah, I had chicken Say I love oxtails Yep, I love pig ears. Say if you go to the butcher mark get some pig ears. I like them, too Wait, you eat all that or you just name and stuff? No, he eat all that. Oh He eat all that hey, don't do my just name and stuff. Nah, he eat all that What happened our farmers? He eat farmers dog too, those are treats. I mean, he don't eat big. That's not a meal.
Starting point is 00:46:30 Oh, I thought, oh, this, you know, I don't have no animal. I thought, I thought. He eat farmers dog. But sometimes when I don't want to be bothered and I want to watch the game in peace, I'll give him something to let him go outside. OK, OK, OK, OK. Yeah, I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it.
Starting point is 00:46:47 I like it. Something unexpected happened after Jeremy Scott confessed to killing Michelle Schofield in Bone Valley Season One. I just knew him as a kid. Long silent voices from his past came forward. And he was just staring at me. And they had secrets of their own to share. Um, Gilbert King? I'm the son of Jeremy Lynn Scott. I was no longer just telling the story. I was part of it.
Starting point is 00:47:19 Every time I hear about my dad, it's, oh, he's a killer. He's just straight evil. I was becoming the bridge between a killer and the son he'd never known. If the cops and everything would have done their job properly, my dad would have been in jail. I would have never existed. I never expected to find myself in this place.
Starting point is 00:47:37 Now, I need to tell you how I got here. At the end of the day, I'm literally a son of a killer. Bone Valley, season two. Jeremy. Jeremy, I'm literally a son of a killer. Bone Valley Season Two. Jeremy, Jeremy, I want to tell you something. Listen to new episodes of Bone Valley Season Two starting April 9th on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Starting point is 00:48:07 These are the likes to walk to. Oh Joe, a 45 year old man filed for divorce after his wife let Usher seduce her and kiss her on stage. Hold on. Husband claimed she never kissed him in public after his wife let Usher seduce her and kiss her on stage. Hold on. Husband claimed she never kissed him in public and was shocked she would kiss a complete stranger in front of 20,000 people.
Starting point is 00:48:34 Ocho, in this situation, what you gonna do, Ocho? What you mean? Ocho, it's entertainment. Wait, it ain't no entertainment? You ain't got no respect for me. What you talking about? You ain't got no respect for me, you already know what time it is. But one, if us even come up to your lady anyway and she engaged in that type of activity, knowing what time it is, you know she'll go.
Starting point is 00:48:54 Honestly, to tell you the truth, 98% of women in this situation, if there wasn't 20,000 people watching, she's a green light. That's just, that's life, that's reality. You didn't hear me just now, did you? I heard you. If she'll go, if she, if you married, and she'll do this in front of 20,000 people, imagine what she'll do if it wasn't nobody watching.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Oh man, you already know, I already would've thought. Oh lord. Oh, come on, hey, don't throw up. I'm just trying to give it to you. I'm trying to be brutally honest. There are certain situations, listen to me, people in the chat, you know, I mean, it's hard for some people to understand
Starting point is 00:49:37 because most women really won't be in that situation based on who you are and based on the type of crowd that you're around. I say it all the time. There are certain men in this world. I don't care who your woman is. I don't care how loyal or faithful you think she is. There are certain situations that can come about opportunities and circumstance that she will go depending on who it is.
Starting point is 00:50:07 I'm telling you, listen to me. They can talk about that, hi almighty, oh my morality, I can't do this, and I believe in this and I believe in that, and I'm faithful, man, piss please. Excuse my language. Excuse my language. Based on opportunity and circumstance, depending on who it is trying to holler,
Starting point is 00:50:28 you're going to go. Damn, Ocho. I seen it happen too many times, Unc. You hear me? I seen it happen too many times. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've seen it happen too, Ocho. Yeah, you ain't got to tell me.
Starting point is 00:50:43 Well, you ain't got to tell me. But hey. Listen, the greatest in life is experience, Oc. The greatest teacher in life is experience. Hey, I'm one of them ones that look here, I said, look here, man. While you trying to get in here, we're going to be gone tomorrow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:59 Don't mess that up. Yeah. I said, look, I don't know how long y'all been together. Come on now. Don't mess this up. Come on. I said, we here for a night. We here for two nights, Ops.
Starting point is 00:51:11 Come on now. This man gonna be here. Don't. Oh, he gonna be all right. All right, come on. Yeah, I heard, I heard. Hey, come on. You all right, you'll be all right.
Starting point is 00:51:23 I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. I did what I did hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. said what I said, but there is a small percentage. Mm-hmm. There's a very small percentage, you know, based on belief, based on religion, the way they were raised, their moral compass, that, you know, they won't, but 98%. Yeah. Now there's a very, very, very large percentage. Yeah. You know? Definitely.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Listen, let me tell you something. I know people in the chat, they never listen to me. The one percent is in the world. The one percent is they're going to go now. I'm going to lie to you. And then you and then you got that that next that next upper echelon. You know, you got you got to be in there. You know, they they take they they take they pick it.
Starting point is 00:52:22 And they keep on taking. Yeah. And too many and too many people tellin' them no. I just think the thing is, Ochoa, look, I just, I be honest with him. I'm saying look. Yeah. Hey, I mean, I don't know your situation. I don't. Right. But I'm saying y'all came together,
Starting point is 00:52:41 I saw y'all, you hugged up, and somehow you made it over here now look We come on now, you know who we are Hey, you know who we are. We don't know you and the likelihood we probably ain't coming back here ever again Right. Don't leave don't do your man like that. Don't leave him. Yeah, but after she said don't worry about it what I supposed to do Ocho? Oh yeah. At that point time, hey slide over bro. Yeah hey you just said you just said forget it huh? Ocho I'll answer to my friend I'm gonna tell you I'll be honest. Right. Ocho why you you come steal my shine?
Starting point is 00:53:28 What you gonna go to Ocho? I will send you to Ocho. Come on. I sent him on over here. Send him over here. He said, Hey, he's out of a chick magnet. He said, it's a kid. I paid him. No. Yeah. Unless you got a dog, unless you got a female dog with you, you can't hit me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:44 Yeah. He said, dog. He said, you ain't got no female dog with you you can't hit me yeah yeah he said dog he said you ain't got no female dog with you nah then you got a male dog we fightin but what you think you going I love you too buddy it's all with your bed time yeah yeah yeah oh yeah I like this what I see you Yeah Hey You're Ocha you want to go for there with Ocho? Yeah, city most anymore down here with your boy man. Hey, Tim. Oh dad. He was what Ocho
Starting point is 00:54:20 You want to go don't you? Huh You want to go over there and chill? Huh? Hey, go get on your spot. Go get on your spot. Go. Spot. I'm almost done. Spot. Hey, but that happens on so many occasions.
Starting point is 00:54:42 It does! So many occasions. It does. So many occasions. At times, women not normally thinking things through and they're willing, I look at it with- Hey, don't throw this away. Don't throw this away. But, Ocho, I tell you what I did. I don't say no name, but I have a situation, I have a homeboy.
Starting point is 00:55:06 We was in Vegas, it was me, one, two, three, it was four of us. We all hung together. Take your time, man. So we go, we're in Vegas, and I forget where we were. And these young ladies come in, they sit down, they start talking. Don't nobody know nobody. We talking. Homeboy Alino to me.
Starting point is 00:55:30 I'ma marry that girl. What? Just like that? Ten minutes into the conversation, I'ma marry her. I look at it. Other two look at it like to look at it like you play it so you know we go out but you know when you go to Vegas doing a little tag alone hey man no she can't come three months later they were married. What?
Starting point is 00:56:05 Hold on, hold on, hold on. Bring that to me one more time. Hold on. As a matter of fact, it's been about 22004. Right. They say they can't hear me. Can you guys hear me now? Is this better? Huh?
Starting point is 00:56:31 Okay. Uh, good. Um, and so, Ocho, we go to Vegas. It's four guys, me and three of my partners. We had this, we had, uh, one of these casinos, I forget it was maybe it was MGM or the Bellagia. Okay. Okay. Okay Might have been a Venetian. But anyway, these ladies come up
Starting point is 00:56:55 Start talking. They're nice looking ladies. I mean, hey, I will say don't do It wasn't no Houston talent. I'm saying, but you know, it's you know, okay So we talking yeah, you know what you do. I mean, such a sad blah, blah, blah. He leaned in. I'm a man here. But it is right down right down the spot. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:57:16 I said, you know, hey. Yeah, you know who you are. Hey, oh, Joe, you know how it is when you try to, you know, you try to make a move. You laugh about a thing that you don't really mean. Right. Hey, hey, oh Joe, you know how it is when you try to, you know, you try to make a move. You laugh at all. Say a lot of things that you don't really mean. Right. Hey, hey, you know, hey, we going to Boar Boar,
Starting point is 00:57:31 or we going to, you know, Malfi Coach, you know, you say some anything. So I'm thinking, I'm thinking, he just said, you know, to try to make a play. Right. But he tell by other partners. Yeah, I'm a man of her. I see. So. What did. So what did she do?
Starting point is 00:57:47 I don't know what she did. We just met him. But she was a nice looking chick. But anyway, on Joe's soul, she was a no, she can't go. She can't tag along with us, you know. But anyway, he's like, he hang with us for like a couple of months. Then he three months later, they married damn
Starting point is 00:58:09 You see I Love a young fella like that. That's see that's what I call being intentional See when I move right I move with intent I know exactly what I want. I say what I'm gonna do and I execute said plan right now What did I tell you was gonna happen in 2026? I'm getting what? I thought I was supposed to be somewhere in February 25. Well, you know what? I bought a ticket. I want a refund. Well, you can get your refund and you get your 5200. Now, that didn't work out for February. But I tell you what's gonna work out though.
Starting point is 00:58:42 You need to spend the block. God had different plans. Huh? You need to spin the block. I, shit, spin who? Hey the car, hey the car, hey, hold on, can you hear me real quick? Can you hear me? I hear you. The car I got, it only goes straight. It don't go left or right and it don't turn around. I got a singular focus and it's headed that way. You hear me? 2026. I think you're making a mistake.
Starting point is 00:59:12 I think I'm not. You hear me? I think I'm not. In 2026, I'm walking down that aisle. Period. Oh Lord have mercy. I'm just telling you. No worry about it it Chad. I'm gonna get to it. I'm gonna talk to it. I'm gonna talk to it. Now you know because sometimes Ocho can be irrational. No no no no no no no no no no no no no no. One thing I'm not is I'm not irrational. Everything I do is start out very well. I'm very strategic in all that I do. I'm very methodical in the way that I plan things Okay, you hear me? Yes, everything I do it it takes careful thought and I think it out
Starting point is 00:59:51 I don't think short-term I think long-term but before I execute that plan long-term I think about the short-term goals in the way I'm going to execute and make things work. Okay You hear me? I know I play around a lot. I know I laugh a lot. But I'm very strategic, huh? You hear me? Yeah. I'm very intentional in all that I do. Okay. Yeah, yeah. And I mean well. That's why I don't feel bad about some of the things I do, because everything I do is with good intention. From the heart. With love. Why you laughing at me?
Starting point is 01:00:36 Everybody say everything I do is with good intention. For you or for everybody involved. No, no, no, no, no. The funny thing about it is everything I do I put I put I put every everyone else before me. Let's start there. I Put everybody else before me And then and then and I work through that no No, they're not still married that is she lattice to the year a year. Yeah damn married that is the latest of the year. A year? Yeah. Damn. Yeah. Wait he ain't
Starting point is 01:01:08 okay well well it's all good. Bad looking bad. You know what I should write a book to tell some of the stories. Hey that'd be going but you can't you got to change the names. Oh yeah. Change the stories. Hey, that'd be a go, but you can't, you gotta change the names. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like you did in the best man. Oh yeah. Change the names. I definitely gotta change the names.
Starting point is 01:01:30 Listen, I still wanna know who, I wanna know who shitted on the GM table. Ha ha ha ha ha. Ha ha ha ha. I love you, Charlie. Hey. Ha ha ha ha. I'm for real, I wanna know.
Starting point is 01:01:43 Ha ha ha ha. Listen, there's only a few players in the history of the game that can pull that off, where there's really no, there's really nothing the gym can say because they are the main focal point of said team. So I don't know. It had to be somebody. And you know what? It got to be a defensive player too. Yeah. But, nah, you know, something little, like I said, my casket, you gonna need a forklift to carry my casket because I'm taking a lot of secrets to my grave so my casket gonna be really heavy. Yeah. Something, Uncle, something you just die with. Yeah. You just say, you just take that. Nah. Right. For me, it ain't even worth it.
Starting point is 01:02:24 It's not even worth it. It's not even worth it. There's not a amount of money. Okay, you give me two, three million dollars, make it as New York Times. It will be a New York Times bestseller, but. Absolutely. It ain't worth it.
Starting point is 01:02:36 It's not even worth it. I mean, the stories that are from the place that we been and something. Yeah. There's some good, hey, Uncle Boy, there's some good ones, you. Yeah. There's some good, hey, Uncle Boy, there's some good ones, you hear me? There's some good ones. Whoo!
Starting point is 01:02:51 All that, all that, all that, just, hey, listen, I just, God just lay a hand on me, that's all. Cause I'm a changed man. I'm a changed man. I done got baptized again cause the last one was wearing off. I'm walking with faith. One foot in front of the other. I got my head high so I can see where I'm going.
Starting point is 01:03:11 Yeah, I mean, she wrong for that. I mean, you married and you out there doing a situation like that, you know you can't kiss no man. You married. You can't even, I mean, when you married, you have to move a certain weight. Move a certain weight. Cause I move a certain way. I don't, I don't do all the, you married, all that flirtation stuff. I don't get down like that. Cause I don't want you to, because look, and this is what I tell people is that, look, oh, I say, you have to understand. I'm just not some willy nilly guy. Say, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa say it again matter of fact, whatever you say right now say it slow. I
Starting point is 01:03:50 Tell people that before we get in Varsity you did well I used to I say look Can you do me a favor do not mention me? Oh, why I said because I'm not some willy-nilly guy Come on that he's gonna feel some type of way He's gonna think I'm trying to big-time him or he's gonna think you were seeing me while you were seeing him And I don't need that Cuz it wasn't that When when you free from him We can talk yeah, but I don't I don't I don't, I don't, I don't come out.
Starting point is 01:04:26 I don't, I don't want to get down like that. Oh Joe. Listen, they, they, they, listen, they, they played, they, they, they played this game on, they, they, they played this game. So whatever she was doing, whatever she did with the opportunity, again, this is the opportunity, right? Based on circumstance, you see how the opportunity presented itself and the circumstances was I have a chance to engage with Usher at a concert. And what
Starting point is 01:04:49 does she do with that opportunity? She took the chance. So now you ruin a marriage and you already know. So you're conducting yourself. And you're not putting the man Usher because he already married. Listen, back bingo. She about to pull trying to pull a, he about to be, you think she about to pull a David Ruffin. Man, please. Listen, you're supposed to move the same way. When you're single, the same way you move as a wife. There's no switch.
Starting point is 01:05:20 There's no switch that you hit on, and all of a sudden you put a ring on your finger or you walk down the aisle and then all of a sudden you different. However you move when you're single is how you're going to move when you're married or when you're in a relationship. If a certain opportunity presents itself, you're still going to do the same exact thing you would do if you were single. Nothing changes. It's not all of a sudden, uh,
Starting point is 01:05:46 your human morale kicks in and you're just this different person. It just doesn't. Hey, Ocho, I saw a thing from Ruby Rose today. She said that she'd tell a guy that she's getting her hair done and he doesn't ask how much it costs. It ain't gonna last long.
Starting point is 01:06:03 Wait, hold on. This the same Ruby Rose that said her dude have to make five million dollars a year? Yes. Listen, listen, you hopefully when the tooth fair, when your tooth come out, hopefully, you hope the tooth fairy leaves a doll under your pillow. Hopefully. Now women can hope, women can have beliefs.
Starting point is 01:06:22 Women can have prerequisites and they can have wants. The chance of actually getting some of them that you say is slim to none. Because when you go into that pool of, stay with me real quick, man. Stay with me, man. Chat, y'all stay with me real quick. When you go into that pool of wanting men that make $5 million or more, you got to understand your chances. You have to look at yourself and you have to look at the pool of women you got to deal with to be the main one to be able to get taken care of, to be a part of that rotation of a man
Starting point is 01:06:51 that makes $5 million or more. You get where I'm going with it? I don't want to break it all the way down. Yeah, but I know there's- I just want delusion. I want you to lose delusion. There's a- Lose that part. Once a guy gets to a level financially, there is more of you than there are of him.
Starting point is 01:07:15 So his selection pool is greater than yours. Now what you need to do, what you're not going do on this good Sunday is listen I'm not saying you a DJ but you need to you need to bring that back. But I think if you... Hold on, hold on you need to bring that back. Yes. You need to let me give him a pen and pad. What? What are you cooking? Come on chef. It is. Bring that back one more time. Once you get to a certain level of financially, and women know this, women know that there are more of them than they are of you. Because the likelihood of you fighting me, look, I mean, you want to reach a certain level of financial use. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:06 You hit a million, you hit five, you hit 10, you hit 15, 20. They don't a lot of people making five, 10, 15, 20 million. Oh, it's very small. How many beautiful women you think they are. Let's just take a state like California where there's 40 million people, or you take a state like Texas, they got 27, 28 million people. Or you take Florida or you take New York or you take Georgia. There is more beautiful, there is more beautiful women in the state of Texas alone.
Starting point is 01:08:39 Then people that make $20 million a year. And then you got two things working against you women. The two, I call them the two ends. You need it and you're nasty. Hmm. You want stuff, but you want to talk to somebody. I ain't going for the good. Oh, Joe, I ain't going to do this tonight.
Starting point is 01:08:58 Come on. Don't stop preaching. You're good. But listen, if Ruby Rose want to do that big more than five billion, if she want to get her hair done and she has a guy that will fund her getting her hair, that's fine. But you know the funny thing about it? This is what I love about women. This is what I love about women, regardless of ethnicity, regardless of prerequisites,
Starting point is 01:09:18 regardless of what they want, whatever they demand or whatever they say they want out of a guy, there will always be a dude willing to do it They'll always be a sucker Give me and I mean that not a disrespectful way and not a disrespectful manner But whatever they want are there will always be a sucker willing to do it But what happened let's just say for the sake of argument Ocho. Okay, she meets that guy that he makes five million What happens to the next what happened when the guy that comes along that makes 10 or 15 million? Oh, she gonna go.
Starting point is 01:09:47 She gonna go. She gonna go. Unc, that's the game. That's always been the game, unc. What's the first thing women say when they leave one guy and they go to the next one? Oh, I got a dude with a bigger bag. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:10:02 Oh, I got a, he got more money than you. And guess what? Well, yeah. And guess what, Ocho? The guy with a bigger bag. Mm-hmm. Oh, I got it. He got more money than you. And guess what? Well, yeah. And guess what, Ocho? The guy with the bigger bag, he got a bigger roster too. Are you a starter or are you coming off the bench? Coming off the bench. You might be in the G-League.
Starting point is 01:10:17 That ain't got nothing to do with it. Coming off the bench. That ain't even go there, Ocho. Let's just. Hold on. A bigger bag. Say, wait one more time. Bring it back for me one more time now.
Starting point is 01:10:26 You went to the deal with the bigger bag, but are you on the bench or you're what? Yeah, you might be in the G league. Damn the bitch. He might have, he might call you up when one of the players that he got on the roster, when they really not performing. So she might be a two way player.
Starting point is 01:10:44 Hey, but they love the boasting and they love the boasts and brag I Got the one with I'm so glad I'm at the game. I'm glad I'm off the market man I got to deal with these games no more. You know, I ain't got to deal with these games. I'm oh Y'all have fun. I just I enjoy talk about it, you just through, through experience and in my time, you know, in the field, I'm out the playing field. I'm waving the white, I ain't even got no white flag. I'm waving my white flag. Something unexpected happened after Jeremy Scott confessed to killing Michelle Schofield in Bone Valley Season 1. I just knew him as a kid. Long silent voices from his past came forward.
Starting point is 01:11:29 And he was just staring at me. And they had secrets of their own to share. Gilbert King, I'm the son of Jeremy Lynn Scott. I was no longer just telling the story. I was part of it. Every time I hear about my dad, it's, oh, he's a killer. He's just straight evil. I was becoming the bridge between a killer and the son he'd never known. If the cops and everything would have done their job properly, my dad would have been in jail. I would have never existed.
Starting point is 01:11:58 I never expected to find myself in this place. Now, I need to tell you how I got here. At the end of the day, I'm literally a son of a killer. Bone Valley Season 2. Jeremy. Jeremy, I want to tell you something. Listen to new episodes of Bone Valley Season 2 starting April 9th on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. and to hear the entire new season ad free with exclusive content starting April 9th Subscribe to lava for good plus on Apple podcasts All right, oh Joe it's time for our final segment of the evening we leaving already no we got night we got
Starting point is 01:12:46 Q&A hey this shit was good evening. Wait, where we going? We leaving already? No, we got night, we got Q&A. Hey, this shit was good at night. Boy, this was a good one, boy. Shout out, Happy Birthday, Big Bro Sterling. And to me, number 44, Ocho, I saw clips on IG today playing tennis. Are you good enough to go against Serena or Roger Federer? Yes, today is my brother's. He turned 60 today. Hey, happy birthday. I called him earlier this morning, he was up. So happy birthday, big bro.
Starting point is 01:13:11 You know I love you to the moon and back, stars and back, infinity and beyond. I really appreciate everything that you've done for me and my life, the way you've done, represented this family extremely well. So thank you very, very much. And happy birthday to you, Tyra. Happy 44th. And hopefully you have many more to come.
Starting point is 01:13:30 Ocho, could you beat Serena or Federer? Absolutely not. Listen, even Serena. Chad, did y'all hear that? This is the first time Ocho has actually said he couldn't be the pro at their chosen profession. Yeah, I'm not gonna play around as good as I am at tennis. This time I'm gonna sit this one out and be realistic.
Starting point is 01:13:52 Even Serena, matter of fact, there's some women right now on tour that I probably couldn't be right now, even as athletic and as good as I am at tennis, I definitely ain't beating none of the men. Oh no, you're not gonna return, they serve. Why would I just get ready to say that? The hand-eye coordination that I would need and being able to recognize the ball at that speed,
Starting point is 01:14:13 that starts from four years old, just years and years. I wouldn't be able to do it. I wouldn't be able to do it. And I can hit back and forth with them at a good speed and a good rate, but the consistency to be able to do it at their level, I just wouldn't be able to do it. And I'm being honest. I'm being honest. Triple X, Cup Saturday said, OKC, can see, Ocho can see, we all can see.
Starting point is 01:14:38 Lakers in five. RS Brandon, Olesheek R.S. GPS CVS. Lagos and five. Man, Ocho at the airport in DC. Man, the Ocho, the whole airport was saying Lagos and five. For real? I'm talking about the entire airport.
Starting point is 01:15:05 I'm signing, man, Ocho, I'm signing. I'm at this car, this memorabilia show. Ocho, I'm signing. Sergiu Barker, Chewbacca, Wacca Flop, Lakers in Five. People actually got me signing memorabilia with Lakers in Five on it. Hey, that's funny. Carbo starters. I got one on SGA ABA Morris Day. My question if you could play on any team in this era Where y'all going? Ocho, who you gonna play with? I'm going to Cincinnati.
Starting point is 01:15:37 Listen with these relaxed rules, with the divas of rules where they can't touch you the way they can now rules with the with the defensive rules where they can't touch you the way they can now you take me that oh five that that that Oh four oh five oh six oh seven oh eight. Oh, yeah in today's era With the way they play defense and they can't hit you man. Just stop playing boy I'll be out here going dummy and hockey I'm going my homeboy Hey travel, we gonna be a lot of double tight ends set. I go, I'm going with my homeboy. Op underscore J said, oh, please write down for tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:16:14 Okay, see fruit punch, high C, John Cena, only man I can't see. Legos in five. Casey Taylor said Duncan on SGA, facing the Tigers in the PGA, Tackler Herschel at UGA. Lakers and five, we need number 18, Lama mentality. We do. Kaverius Doris said, hey, uh, when you was on Undisputed during time when Russell Westbrook was on the Lakers,
Starting point is 01:16:40 whose idea was it to do those blooper reels showcasing this turnover than any bad shot. But I ain't confident bro. I didn't call. I don't really call for no highlights. Right. Y'all saw y'all watch the game. So what I need to call for the highlights for Santa bronze said, I
Starting point is 01:17:00 think commissioner Adam Silver should look to move Memphis Grizzlies out of Memphis. Why they sell out. I think commissioner Adam Silver should look to move Memphis Grizzlies out of Memphis. Why? They sell out. You know, you do realize the Grizzlies came from Vancouver. So they moved to Memphis, Memphis put up the money. I mean, I don't think they should move it. I think the Grizzlies fans, I think they support their team.
Starting point is 01:17:24 They're kind of, excuse me, they've kind of fallen on hard times. Uh, excuse me, you know, last couple of games they haven't played well, but John hit a, excuse me, a game when he shot the other night against, uh, the Pelicans, right? Now who did he hit that shot against? The Heat, the Heat hit that shot against the Heat. But John just needs to be able to stay healthy. That little floater, that little floater was nice, boy. That step back. John just needs to stay healthy to stay healthy. That little floater was nice, boy.
Starting point is 01:17:45 That step back. Jar just needs to stay healthy. They got a nice little squad. I think they need another piece. I don't think they can win a championship with that core group. I'm right here. No.
Starting point is 01:17:59 Sir Kate, what's up guys? I see a lot of potential in Shiloh in this game, but his name is not standing out when it comes to top defenders in the draft. Where do you see him landing? What is his ceiling and what can he improve? I mean, you don't know where anybody's ceiling is gonna be, especially going to the draft.
Starting point is 01:18:17 You know, it's one thing going to the draft, regardless of where you go, it's what you do once you get there and being able to improve on your game once you do get there. Where you go matters a lot. I think I think for a defender, I think for a defender, not as much as the offensive player, you know, I always looked at it like, I
Starting point is 01:18:33 don't care where the hell I'm going. I'm going to make whoever in job, whoever, whoever my coach may be. I'm going to make your job as easy as possible because I'm going to make sure I'm on my shit. Someone is going to keep their job a lot longer because they're gonna ask who the scout that found Shannon Sharp? Who recommended, who pitched Dan Reed that they should sign Shannon Sharp? Come on, Dan. All I wanted, I remember, I told you I remember it like yesterday because back then the draft
Starting point is 01:19:03 used to come on Sundays. They had the first two rounds on Sunday, and then they had the rest of the draft, because it was 12 rounds, was on Monday. Hey, I don't know to tell them, don't you? I remember my brother coming into my room, say, hey bro, we gonna be okay, hey, you know I got hold of down.
Starting point is 01:19:23 I say, Spank, all I wanted somebody to give me give me a chance I said all I want somebody to do is give me a helmet a pair of shoulder pads that's all I ask right they give me that I'll take care of the rest it's an opera we don't even worry about that hey get you a good night's sleep that's all right with the bed that night welcome that morning say man bro let's go get us a workout here I woke up that morning and said, man, bro, let's go get us some work out here. Lo and behold, phone rang, shark, telephone. Wait, who the hell know I'm here? Dan Reed, hey, we took you in the seventh round?
Starting point is 01:19:55 Yeah. You happy to be abroad? I say, coach, you won't regret it. You say, hey, hey, had the plane ticket at the airport went out there I'm looking around she wrote man please I don't know what y'all thinking I ain't going back you know we get out there cuz you know back there you go right away you have a little you know little medic you know guys going, Hey, they come in, they going out. Man, you going?
Starting point is 01:20:27 No. I say, bro, Mary point didn't send me to come party. I'm coming to make this damn team. That's it. I'm coming to make this team, bro. That's it. Spencer, seven, seven round? Seven.
Starting point is 01:20:40 One. Hey, that ain't promising that. I know they try to use me as a cow body No, I told my brother all I wanted the helmet and pair of shoulder pads Hell, I brought my own cleats from Savannah State. Just give me the helmet and shoulder pads So I take care of the mother like the other more focus Boy take care to rest. That's all I needed. Yeah boy. Look here Hey, that's what I would playing with the folks, Ocho. And I knew once I made it, my rookie year.
Starting point is 01:21:11 It was a wrap. I got the grasp of how I needed to train during the season, what I needed to do, how attentive I needed to be. Once I got it down and I understood Like if I'm an egg if I'm the you know, why tight end what tight end with X back there? If I'm here or from the you know the move tight end Boy Yeah, it was over the worst thing you could do is let somebody with my Godiven athletic ability know what the hell he's supposed to do. It was over. Dr. Frank L. Bellamy said, I hope everyone voted for Unkin Club, Shasha, and Nightcap are nominated for
Starting point is 01:21:56 multiple Webby Awards. Please go vote. Thank you, Doc. Unk, if there was a fire and you could only say one pair, which sneakers are you grabbing with no hesitation or are you sprinting out of the house barefoot, do-rag, row at a plate of ribs? What pair of shoes am I grabbing? Huh? Oh yeah, yo, yeah, but that's a no-brainer. Sneakers, I don't love the sneakers like that no more. I don't really beat ass down, so I beat ass down.
Starting point is 01:22:34 Yes, uh-huh. I sleep, this is what I normally sleep in like this, so I ain't got no robe. I might grab my 84 robe, but I don't want that to burn up. Nah, I'm not gonna leave that. I'm trying to think what else I'm gonna grab. Oh well, I'm probably gonna grab... Oh well, me title teddy bear we standing outside. Yeah, I Ain't gonna get no damn shoes damn them shoes. Oh I'm like what if I start now?
Starting point is 01:23:23 Yeah, that's gonna determine what I did. That's gonna determine what you can get? Yeah. That's fine. Bro, I was saying, we gonna stand outside. I didn't tell you to come back in here. Come on. Yes, I'm gonna save you. Yes, yes, yes, yes. I'm gonna save this big old boy. He gonna be the first thing I, well I'm gonna grab Teddy Bear.
Starting point is 01:23:50 You will follow me out the house. Teddy Bear might go try to get a toy. Yeah, Ochoa, your house, count on what you gonna save, Ochoa, what you gonna get? In the house? Oh, I'm grabbing a picture. I'm grabbing my grandma picture off the wall. Me and my brother and my grandma. I'm grabbing that.
Starting point is 01:24:11 Damn the rest of the stuff. Damn these watches, this jewelry. I don't care. I'm grabbing that picture. And I got a picture in my range, Ocho, over my visor. Is her? Actually, we buried her in that outfit. Pink hat on, I'm getting that picture.
Starting point is 01:24:29 As a matter of fact, I ain't saving nothing else. I'm gonna close the garage. Yeah. I, you know what's funny? I ain't really got nothing here. Cause you know, I'm at the little apartment. Yeah. And um.
Starting point is 01:24:45 Well, I guess you have to run in there and say, you know who? But that's okay. We ain't gonna talk about that. Pat Dove... Pat Dove say, do you remember all the breeds of dogs you ever had? Would you ever consider having a Japanese tosa? I do. having a Japanese, a Japanese Tulsa. I do.
Starting point is 01:25:10 We had, my grandmother had a Beagle. Come on, so much. Had a German Shepherd. We had a mutt. I've owned two Rottweilers. I've had an Akita. I've had, palms, three palms, two bull masters, and now a boar bull. My uncle and my grandfather had hunting dogs. Had a blue tick, a red bone, a black and tan coon dogs. So they had hunting dogs.
