Did you know, colon cancer is considered one of the most preventable, yet least prevented cancers? When caught in the early stages, colon cancer has a survival rate of 90 percent, so screening and early detection are key to reducing overall colon cancer deaths.
Starting point is 00:05:23 That's why the American Cancer Society recommends that if you're at average risk, you begin screening for colon cancer at age 45. And a convenient way to do that is with colar guard tests. The colar guard tests allow you to be in control of your colon cancer screening through prescription-based tests delivered to your door with none of the prep that's required for a colonoscopy. No liquid prep, no days off, no invasive procedures. Plus, ColiGuard test is affordable. Most insured patients pay zero dollars and a follow-up colonoscopy is needed after a
Starting point is 00:05:54 positive ColiGuard test. This is usually covered by insurance also. So, if you're 45 years of older and at average risk, you can ask your healthcare provider about screening for colon cancer with the Coligar Test. You can also request a Coligar prescription today at coligar.com slash podcast. The Coligar Test is intended to screen adults 45 and older at average risk for colorectal cancer. Do not use Coligar Test if you have had adhenomas, have inflammatory bowel disease, and certain
Starting point is 00:06:21 hereditary syndromes or personal or family history of colorectal cancer. The Coligar Test is not a replacement for colonoscopies. High-risk patients, Cologuard tests in adults 45 to 49, estimated based on a large clinical study of patients 50 and older, false positive and false negatives can occur. Cologuard is available by prescription only. James Cook is in the final year of his rookie contract and wants a lucrative extension. With the two sides far apart, bills have taken a step back from negotiations leaving Cook nothing to do but post cryptic emojis on social media. Now Cook appears to have escalated things by putting his Orchard Park home on the market this week.
Starting point is 00:07:07 The three-bedroom, two full bath, two and a half bath home, which is located five minutes from Highmark Stadium, is listed at $710,000. Oh, man. You think that's a sign that maybe he's moving to a new place? Maybe he's downsizing? You never know.
Starting point is 00:07:26 I would've got, my first year I would've got the department anyway. Instead of getting the house? Yup. I don't know, I think they would get it done. He's too much of a important part of that offense. Yeah. From a production standpoint.
Starting point is 00:07:43 I agree. To be important. I mean look, 710 is not a lot of standpoint. I really important. 710 is not a lot of money. I mean, he was a second round. I think it James Cook was a second round pick. Oh Joe. So that's not a lot. That's let me say, that's not a lot of money for NFL player. Oh Joe, that's a lot of money for the average American.
Starting point is 00:07:59 You know, that's trying to put a, put food on the table, the roof over the head, 710,000, a lot of money. So I should, let me take that back. That's not a lot of money for an NFL player. That's a reasonably priced home. And it's very close. Because you want to live as close as you can. I mean, look, I ain't trying to have to drive 30, 40 minutes
Starting point is 00:08:19 to get to work. To work, yeah. Especially a place like that, Ocho. It's cold, it's snowing out, man. I'm trying to get there fast as possible. Yep. I don't want to be shoveling all day. Man, I'll pay somebody to do that.
Starting point is 00:08:33 Yeah. And look, I ain't gonna pay nobody because I'm going out of the garage. So I'll give it to them if there's no, this high on the sidewalk. It ain't got nothing to do with me. I ain't going out the front door anyway. Anybody coming to see me,
Starting point is 00:08:44 I ain't coming around to the back. Mm-hmm. coming to see me, I come around to the back. Mm-hmm. Yeah, but look, I think that's the thing. Like I put my house on the market. So somebody bought a house, what that mean? He relocating? Nah. Exactly, exactly, exactly, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:08:58 Things have gotten spicy between Chad's Ocho Cinco Johnson Bengals and Trey Hendrickson. First, executive VP, Katie Blackburn said this on yesterday. It is on him to be happy at some point, and that's what he thinks. He should be happy at a certain point, rates that maybe he doesn't think he'd be happy at. Hendrickson told Backpacker Feed today he thought it was a for fools at. Hendrickson told Backpacker Feeds today,
Starting point is 00:09:25 he thought it was a for fools joke. Hendrickson called the comments confusion because he'd been talking to the team about a long-term deal for the last few years. And it was communicated to him that there's something would get done this off season. There's a little disappointing because communication has been poor
Starting point is 00:09:41 over the last couple of months. That's something I hold high regard. They have not communicated with my agent directly. It's been something that's been a little bit frustrating. As you said, he does not have any desires to be the highest paid or the first in line. And he's been patient, it's possible, but made it clear that he's looking for incentives
Starting point is 00:10:03 that will be out of my control or a short term, a short term deal given his stated desire for a long term contract that includes guaranteed money. 35 sacks the last two years Ocho, are you the first team all pro? He led the league in sacks last year with 17 and a half. In this year. That's tough. That's tough. That's tough. Huh?
Starting point is 00:10:28 I think the Bengals in a tough spot. Trey Henderson is in a tough spot. Bangle fans in a tough spot. The organization is in a tough spot. You know, how you pay, you know, your quarterback 55, you pay your wide receiver, you pay your privacy with 1B. 30. 30, whatever it may be. And now you have Trey Henderson,
Starting point is 00:10:49 who deserves to be paid within the top three, top five at his position. How do you pay him as well? I don't know. I don't know. Rob Peter to pay Paul. Well, what if money. Well, first of all, Peter and Paul already robbed you.
Starting point is 00:11:04 Yeah. And then, you know, we're, what am I? Well, first of all, Peter and Paul already robbed you. Yeah. And then, you know, you listen to the comments that he says about, no, not wanting to be the highest paid. Well, the comments that Katie made as well, Katie says, well, you need to be happy. Was that my doorbell? Right. Oh, oh well. Yeah, maybe Katie's saying that maybe you need to be happy with the rate that we're offering, you know, and the deal that that that has been set or given to you.
Starting point is 00:11:36 But again, you understand that when it comes to the business side of things, which is why agent is needed, they always lowball you, you know, and that's when negotiations have to happen. So listen, I hope both sides get something done if Trey Henderson isn't able to play with the Bengals he's had one hell of a career here he's been a tremendous player not just on the field but in the communities as well so I really wanted to get what he deserves even if it's not not with us I don't think so too, Ocho. You know, the problem that I have is that the contract is only binding when you wanna renegotiate or break it.
Starting point is 00:12:17 When they cut you because you haven't performed, there ain't no contract. Ain't no issues, and the fans don't come to your defense either. No, but we know that. Ain't no issues and the fans don't come to your defense either. No. The fans don't come to your defense either. But let you ask for more money, let you hold out, let you have gripes and situations about what you think you deserve based on your value and the work you've put in.
Starting point is 00:12:37 Oh, well you all type of selfish and devoted and disgruntled at. But that's always been the nature of the business for some reason I'm not sure how it happened or what fans have always thought because their heart and their loyalty is to the team And I'm not sure how owners have fooled the fans into believing That the players are the bad ones. They do I'm not sure how they've done it But they they pulled the frame and we're doing everything we possibly can. You know, the salary cap is what it is and what we try to do, we pay everybody a quarterly. I know y'all got a check for 400 million.
Starting point is 00:13:13 What's the salary cap on, Joe? Now, I'm saying, when you do what ESPN and Fox and Amazon and what Netflix gave you and what CBS gave you. Okay. I know what those corporate sponsors are paying you. Now that's just from the national side. Right. You got your own TV deal. Local.
Starting point is 00:13:37 You got your own radio deal. Locally. You have your own local advertising deals. Locally. You have concession. You have merchandise. Merch, yeah. Don't get me started.
Starting point is 00:13:48 There's so many different avenues of revenue that teams are bringing, and it's something that people don't even know about. Yeah, like when you get in the term, oh, they say buckets. They use the term buckets. There's so many buckets. There's the network bucket, which is CBS and ESPN, Fox,
Starting point is 00:14:10 Amazon, NBC, that's a bucket. And then you get Nike deal, that's a bucket. You got Bose headset, that's a bucket. Hold on, what about the stadium naming rights? Yes, yes, yes. What is AT&T? Ford Field, Highmark, yeah. Mercedes Benz.
Starting point is 00:14:38 Mercedes Benz, yes, yes. So, that's the only thing I don't like about it. I got a problem and my thing is, okay, I'll sign a contract and I'll honor it. Won't you honor it too? Yeah. Won't we both honor it? Oh Joe, the NBA is looking into John Morant
Starting point is 00:15:00 using the finger gun motion towards the Warriors bench last night according to Shams. Video has emerged of Buddy Hill doing the finger gun motion towards the Warriors bench last night according to Shams Video has emerged a buddy Hill doing the finger gun at job first. What do you make of this situation? Does he'll doing it first excuse job despite all the history of job with guns Now that's a tough one on that's a tough one I probably I. I probably know your take on it and understanding that based on your history and what you've done in the past or what the situations that have occurred in the past is something that you shouldn't do. I think in the heat of the moment, you know, with Buddy
Starting point is 00:15:35 Hill doing it first and him just, you know, emulating what Buddy did to him. I understand probably how it's seen. Oh, you should know better based on what you've done in the past But I think it's in this situation is harmless If you've already learned your lesson and just answering back to Buddy Hill in the same manner in which he directed it directed it at you Now you you might see a different than I do. I'm just giving John's history. You think he would be smarter than that? Yeah, I knew that's we are and I lost some games. I'm like, be smarter than that? Yeah, I knew that's what he are. I know you but. I lost some games, I'm like, you know what buddy? First of all, that's Buddy Hill, come on now.
Starting point is 00:16:08 I'm gonna let you have that. You gonna let him have it? That's you buddy, come on buddy, for real? Yeah. Yeah, I got you, I got you. I mean, come on, your name Buddy. Come on, buddy. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:16:22 That's how I'm looking at it, on your for real though. Right, right, right, right, right, right. Now, Steph, if Steph do it all, I gotta get you back, Steph. Oh, yeah, buddy. You know, that's how I'm looking at it on your freedom. Right, right, right, right If step do it all I gotta get you back because you step curry All right, let you do I have to let you come do to my house and let you do all that I got the head at yeah, give me that back Uh, the grinses are oh and three in the uh post taylor jenkins era. I was surprised Uh, they were in the fifth spot job missed some time this year
Starting point is 00:16:45 Jaws missed a lot of times the last couple years. Remember, I think he hurt his shoulder last year, and he missed damn near the whole season. The year before that, he had the incident with the guns, the situation got suspended. And he hasn't been on the court, but when he's playing, he's sensational. Lights out. I mean, I think he had what, 36, 38 last night
Starting point is 00:17:04 against Golden State. Now, Steph with Haywar and had 52 on him. Excuse me. 12 or 20 from the three point line. But y'all just got to be smarter. I get it, he's young, Ocho, but bro, they done took some money for y'all. I ain't trying to give y'all no more money. I'm just like, y'all ain't finna get no more of my money.
Starting point is 00:17:23 None of it. Nothing. Y'all ain't trying to get y'all no more money. I'm sorry. Y'all didn't get no more of my money. None of it. Nothing. Yeah. Y'all not, y'all not fitting to get any more of my money. I don't give you, I've given you too much as it is. Yeah. And so I just think the thing is like, look, I mean, you hear talking at one point in time, they thought he could be the face of the
Starting point is 00:17:42 league and now they talking about, uh, can they win with, with can they win with John is he better as a second option or they gonna move John? Second who? Second option? Second come of the Christ? Man stop playing man. Let's not let's not be let's not be fooled. Let's not get carried away with it on Joe.
Starting point is 00:17:54 They get a little carried away man. They say I don't understand the game of basketball like that to the extent of you and George Adorno and Doris Burke but I know god damn well he ain't no second option to nothing unless you talk about Christ. But I don't understand the game of basketball like that to the extent of you and George Adorno and Doris Burke but I know god damn well he ain't no that to the extent of you and George Sedano and Doris Burke, but I know goddamn Well, he no second option to nothing unless you talk about Christ Wow
Starting point is 00:18:15 Joyland B would undergo orthoscopic surgery on his left knee next week and be rule out the for the season in late February as the Sixers met with doctors to determine the best treatment to alleviate the knee issues was surgery. Ocho, here's a wild stat. The games played since the start of the 2014-15 season. The year Joel Embiid entered the draft, Carmelo Anthony, 12th year. Carmelo Anthony has played what? More games? Is this why I'm reading this correctly ash more games than Joellen B
Starting point is 00:18:49 And Mello has been retired for three years And he still played more games than Joellen B. Is that correct for 70 to 452? She shams is reporting that Carmelo got to call that he's going to the probe to the basketball Hall of Fame I thought I thought basketball was five years, but I guess they reduced it to three years or you're a great player like Who's that Wayne Gretzky? He retired they put him in the hall of fame Like what the hell we waiting for like certain guys like why you wait Tom Brady? Why you make Tom Brady wait? Why do you make Peyton Manning wait? Why you make like a L? Come on now. What are you waiting for?
Starting point is 00:19:25 There's no point. Yeah, there's no point. We took our players at a Mount Rushmore at that position What about respective craft in general? Yeah, I mean some things use like I mean, why would you make LeBron wait a minute? Oh, bro, you retired. Okay, we got a ceremony next week make you Are you retiring? Okay, we got a ceremony next week. Make sure you're here. I mean, for real though, check with me when we do it. And I don't think LeBron is one of those guys that he's gonna come back and, you know,
Starting point is 00:19:54 oh, I wanna play like Jordan did, you know, Magic. Because it had been really cool, had Magic, because Magic came back and played, and when Bird was gonna go in, Magic was like I want to go in and David Stern would let that happen but that would be really cool because I really think those two guys should have gone in. If any two guys like Russell and Chamberlain, Magic and Bird, some of those guys should just like just go in together. They should go in together.
Starting point is 00:20:24 They really should. My name is Brendan Patrick Hughes, host of Divine Intervention. This is a story about radical nuns in combat boots and wild haired priests trading blows with J. Edgar Hoover in a hell bent effort to sabotage a war. J. Edgar Hoover was furious. Somebody violated the FBI and he wanted
Starting point is 00:20:47 to bring the Catholic left to its knees. The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century, and the god-damn-est love story you've ever heard. I picked up the phone and my thought was this is the most important phone call I'll ever make in my life. I couldn't believe it. I mean, Brendan, it was divine intervention. Listen to Divine Intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Camila Ramon, Peloton's first Spanish speaking cycling and tread instructor. I'm an athlete, entrepreneur, and almost most importantly, a perreo enthusiast.
Starting point is 00:21:36 And I'm Liz Ortiz, former pro soccer player and Olympian and like Cami, a perreo enthusiast. Come on, who is it? Our podcast, Hasta Bajo, is where sports, music, and fitness collide. And we cover it all, de arriba hasta abajo. Sit down with real game changers in the sports world, like Miami Dolphins CMO Priscilla Shumate, who is redefining what it means to be a Latina leader.
Starting point is 00:22:00 It all changed when I had this guy come to me. He said to me, you know, you're not Latina. First of all, what is that? I'm out in the light open. Yeah. History makers like the Sucar family who became the first Peruvians to win a Grammy. It was a very special moment for us. It's been 15 years for me in this career.
Starting point is 00:22:20 Finally, things are starting to shift into a different level. Listen to Hasta Bajo on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports. It's Julie Stewart Banks. I'm doing a new podcast from iHeart Podcasts and the National Hockey League. And I'm paired up with one of my favorite players, the always quotable Nate Thompson. I wore nine NHL sweaters and I have story after story to share. And believe it or not, I have plenty to say and not just about hockey.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Believe me, he does. Energy Line with Nate and JSB is the name of the podcast and it's going to be, well, it's going to be quite the ride. We're officially line mates, Nate. We're the Energy Line. We'll have plenty of folks join us, current players, some of my former teammates, Hall of Famers, and wait to see some of the connections that Julie has.
Starting point is 00:23:10 She has quite the Rolodex. Okay, we'll lean into Nate's playing experience and tap into our interests away from hockey and try to do what Energy Lines are supposed to do, provide an emotional boost. How do you feel about all that, Nate? I'm vibing Julie I'm ready to roll. Listen to Energy Line with Nate and
Starting point is 00:23:28 JSB on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Israel Gutierrez and I'm hosting a new podcast Dub Dynasty the story of how the Golden State Warriors have dominated the NBA for over a decade. The Golden State Warriors once again are NBA champions. From the building of the core that included Clay Thompson and Draymond Green to one of the boldest coaching decisions in the history of the sport. I just felt like the biggest thing was to earn the trust of the players and let the players know that we were here to try to help them take the next step, not tear anything down.
Starting point is 00:24:05 Today, the Warriors dynasty remains alive, in large part because of a scrawny six foot two hooper who everyone seems to love. For what Steph has done for the game, he's certainly on that Mount Russmore for guys that have changed it. Come revisit this magical Warriors ride. This is Dubb dynasty.
Starting point is 00:24:22 The Dubb's dynasty is still very much alive. Listen to Dubb Dynasty starting April 8th on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Tyler Hansbrough says Lou Will used to bring his two girlfriends to every game and they sought next to each other every time. Ojo? Hey, I like that. Speaking of Lou, I just seen Lou in Spain yesterday. Matter of fact, I'm still here.
Starting point is 00:25:00 I'm in San Diego right now, but I was in LA. I went somewhere to see a friend of mine I got a chance to see a KG. I Saw Kevin Garner and Paul Pierce and then upstairs upstairs was Lou Williams and spanked during a par. It was real dope Spank you were Charlie Parson Yes, spams my spank comedians spank be with all. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah So I saw all them yesterday. Yeah. But go ahead, go ahead, by Lou.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Both his girlfriends sat next to each other. Yes, sir. During the game. Oh yeah, that's live. That's live, I like it. You're doing that, you sitting two together? Oh, I mean, I would, I would, you know. I would, if I was in my day, you know, and if I was still playing like that, you know, I would, I would, you know, I would. I mean, if I was in my day, you know,
Starting point is 00:25:46 and if I was still playing like that, you know, I would. All it is is conversation and being honest and telling the truth, because when you're bringing that kind of money as an NBA player, you know, you will have those that will play like that and have a great understanding. Now being that I'm over the hill now, you know, and I'm working and I'm in a structured environment,
Starting point is 00:26:04 you know, I can't move like that no more. But as I see fit during that time, would I be able to do it? Absolutely. Would I have two women that would be willing to do it? Absolutely. You know, and then you, you add, you add, you factor in the NBA revenue and salary that you're bringing in. How many women would decline that not very many.
Starting point is 00:26:28 And he, he just had just nobody sitting next to each other on these. Ain't just no scragglers now. We talk about, Hey, we talk about tens. Yeah. Can you pull it off? No, I can't pull it off. No. No. I ain't never been that bold.
Starting point is 00:26:53 No. I've never been no Fabio Lozario. I've never been one of those guys that could do that. Wait, hold on. Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, guys that could do that. Wait, hold on. Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, time out, time out. Now you don't play the field for a long time. I don't mean to get in your personal business.
Starting point is 00:27:11 Now if you can have two women sit courtside. Now I understand you wouldn't do it publicly. So I don't mean to be your personal business. Yes, I'm nosy. Starting point is 00:38:28 you've done some things that you just don't understand how you were able to do. And especially, you think about it at the age we're at now, I couldn't pull it off. I don't have the energy. No! Or the attention span to be able to make sure no one is left out.
Starting point is 00:38:44 You know, so I was, back y'all back in them days, you know, back when my younger day, I was like an octopus, you hear me? Yeah. Yeah, and I make sure I don't leave anybody out. I make sure everybody is in tune and I'm sharp and detailed and all that I'm doing that everyone feels like they're a part.
Starting point is 00:38:58 I mean, unison is all about becoming one. I can't even lie. I'm trying to even hold you. I can't do it. I ain't got it in me. I know, I feel you, I feel you. I feel you. But I was different, you know? I know you was here when you was well. I was here when I was a... that one called hell. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:14 That one? I worked the double on them. I did a double on them. I did a double. I did the double that don't you? Like by the Jackson say sundown through midnight. You gotta be working day and night It's bad. I don't know. I always say you work the double owner. Yeah, I put a double owner I put it over time. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah I'm a day myself. I don't know they I only know they still in existence I don't know if they still exist, but back then, Lakinta was about $35. What do you mean by Lakinta? LAQUINTA. Yeah, yeah, they still got them.
Starting point is 00:39:53 Yeah, Lakinta, yeah. Especially when you're on the road. Hey, hey, hey. Oh, bro, you know, I had a little paper back then. You know, a little 35 cent in dollars. Get you two nights, a little tax, eight and a half, two nights. I go by that thing, get in that room, I turn that AC on because I might be giving it too much.
Starting point is 00:40:13 I'm a sweater. I sweat. Yeah. Because the room got to be icy cold. OK, OK. It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing because, you know, I'm just like, man, she ain't going to never want to see me. But hey, I'm in that thing like a Baptist minister. I'm just like, man, she ain't gonna never wanna see me. Hey, I'm in that thing like a Baptist minister.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Damn, how many, oh, I look. Oh, man, boy, I did something. Woo! Yeah, yeah, back in the day, Ocho Yula. Hey, with old boy, oh shit, what they say, oh shit, well hell, Woody was well. Yeah.

Listen Man the stories man Sometimes I like the same room I like the same room too cuz I feel if it's something about that room If I get you know, I'll get you know, get a four ball or a five ball. You know what I'm saying? No joke. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:41:09 I think it was the room. It was the room. Hey, let me get that room. Let me get that same. Is the room I had last week available? Uh, Mr. Sharp, it won't be available until tomorrow. I said, well, I'll come back tomorrow, but let me get it.
Starting point is 00:41:26 I'll be back tomorrow. Let me get it. There was something about that bed. I don't know what it was. But boy. Hey. Hold on. Oh, John, but it ain't got to tell you what I have thought about. I said, now, what about old Shay at 18, 19, 20 on the sparks?
Starting point is 00:41:42 No, I don't do that. No, I don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do that. Hey, hey, I had to put, I had to put somebody's legs back together. 18, 19, 20 on the sparks. Yeah. Hey, matter of fact, the body is already producing its own spark in general, especially at that age.
Starting point is 00:42:08 Can you imagine, Ocho? Can you add something to that? Man, please. Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm. Boy, I'm bored of some days, boy. I sure hope you were at the Bible study that week. I'm bored of some days, boy. What a time, what a time.
Starting point is 00:42:17 I'm bored of some days, boy. I'm bored of some days, boy. I'm bored of some days, boy. I'm bored of some days, boy. I'm bored of some days, boy. I'm bored of some days, boy. I'm bored of some days, boy. I'm bored of some days, boy. I'm bored of some days, boy. I'm bored of some days, boy. I'm bored of some days,. Boy, that was some day hype, boy.
Starting point is 00:42:28 What a time, what a time. Ojo Aisha Howard has addressed the rumor alleging Anthony Edwards requested to pay 18 years of child support up front amid their court battle. She said, where do these lies be coming from? You ever heard a rumor about yourself and actually wanted to hear more like, no way, what did I do next? There are no court documents, motions or proceedings that have occurred nor have I been offered
Starting point is 00:42:56 or agreed to such terms. Would it actually be smart just to pay the whole 18 18 years one payment of only 1.8 million. Yes Yeah, I mean, uh, this is um, I wouldn't it's tough. Okay. It's tough. Yeah tough It's tough because it and we're just speculating. I don't know I I don't know Ant-Man like that. Have I met him before? Yes. It's tough because he young, it's reported that he didn't want the kid. Now he forced to, you know, want to be with the kid.
Starting point is 00:43:40 So I just think the thing is I would say this, take some time, cool down. Yes, sir. You're upset right now because you didn't want to be with her, you were just having a good time. Yes, sir. And sometimes when you're late, you got to pay. Yeah. And that's the only advice I would give him.
Starting point is 00:44:03 I say, son, that child didn't have to come. It didn't. It was two grown folks. I mean, you practice long enough, you're gonna get good at it. Yeah. You're right. I mean, listen, this is unfortunate circumstance.
Starting point is 00:44:21 I know Ant very well,, good friend of mine, and the situation of the fortunate. Now we're all different in how we operate. Now I can only put myself in his shoes if I was in his shoes. Now you know me, I didn't do things the traditional way. No. I didn't do things the traditional way. You know, there was an understanding between those and I that I have kids from where I am extremely active in all of mine's life and always have been.
Starting point is 00:44:50 That's something that I would be proud of, whether the individual and I weren't together. You know, oh, you what? Man, you bull-driving. Is mine? Oh, bet. Let's go. I got this. And I'm starting to pre-play everything ahead of time. What we having? A girl, a boy. When I think about gym clap, gymnastics and football, that's how I operate because I'm the one who enjoys having kids.
Starting point is 00:45:13 I enjoy it. I'm active. I'm hands-on and all that I do especially when it comes to that. But his situation is different. Obviously he didn't want the child. But obviously you do have to take responsibility. Yeah and it's different now Ocho because see the problem that I have now is that they have this thing called internet. Yeah. When something gets put on internet it's up there for perpetuity.
Starting point is 00:45:36 Yes sir. And to know that one day and this could not be true but for a child to read that to say the father didn't want anything to do it or didn't want to be a part of his life, that's hurtful. Yeah, that's tough. He's also speaking from anger, huh? Of course! He's also speaking from anger about the situation and her understanding that you know, you know
Starting point is 00:46:00 this is something that I don't want now. And then, you know, the other flip side of that is, well, if you didn't want a and then you know the the other flip side that is well If you didn't want a child you shouldn't work. You shouldn't work protection. Yeah, you can't put raw meat on them Yeah, so I mean listen it's tough. I mean that I don't know Her side, you know a I think when cool I think when I think we pull ahead for bail, he gonna be able to, he gonna be alright. And he, he's going to be active father. The reports that are coming out.
Starting point is 00:46:32 I think it's great. I think it'll be straight. And if they, I, um, I love, let me, I got, let me take my glass off. I love kids. Love it. Love off. I love kids. Love it. Love it. I love being a father. If I wouldn't mind having them all.
Starting point is 00:46:54 I wouldn't mind having them all. Matter of fact, you know what? I'm finna have twins. Yeah, that's what I'm finna do. I'm finna have, yeah, that's what I'm done. I'm gonna go get a- The only twins I want is Range Rovers or Bentley's. Matter of fact, I'm gonna get two of them too.

The kids before they born I want to make sure I can provide So as long as I got that 15 50 200, I'm gonna be able to provide I'm just going I'm just gonna go and take it. Well, hold on, man. They suing OnlyFans because they're not talking to the person they thought they were talking to? Yeah, they were employees of the agency. Starting point is 00:51:16 they, they, they, but the money that women can make on only fans, they will never ever have to work a nine to five ever again. That's if the numbers are actually true. Sometimes the numbers are staggering. Yeah, so they're making four million dollars a month. And that ain't, no, I know that's not true, but I think they make well into, into six figures, sometimes low sevens. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:42 I agree. Edgar Hoover was furious somebody violated the FBI and he wanted to bring the Catholic left to its knees. The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century, and the God-damnedest love story you've ever heard. I picked up the phone and my thought was,
Starting point is 00:52:40 this is the most important phone call I'll ever make in my life. I couldn't believe it. I mean, Brendan, it was divine intervention. Listen to Divine Intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Camila Ramon, Peloton's first Spanish-speaking cycling and tread instructor. I'm an athlete, entrepreneur, and almost most importantly, a perreo enthusiast. And I'm Liz Ortiz, former pro soccer player and Olympian and like Cami, a perreo enthusiast. Come on, who is it?
Starting point is 00:53:19 Our podcast Hasta Abajo is where sports, music, and fitness collide. And we cover it all. De arriba hasta abajo. Sit down with real game changers in the sports world, like Miami Dolphins CMO Priscilla Shumate, who is redefining what it means to be a Latina leader. It all changed when I had this guy come to me. He said to me, you know, you're not Latina. First of all, what does that mean? My mouth is wide open.
Starting point is 00:53:44 Yeah. History makers like the Sukar family, who became the first Peruvians to win a Grammy. You know, you're not Latina. First of all, what does that mean? My mouth is wide open. Yeah. History makers like the Sukar family who became the first Peruvians to win a Grammy. It was a very special moment for us. It's been 15 years for me in this career. Finally, things are starting to shift into a different level. Listen to Hasta Lajo on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports.
Starting point is 00:54:09 It's Julie Stewart Banks. I'm doing a new podcast from iHeart Podcasts and the National Hockey League, and I'm paired up with one of my favorite players, the always quotable Nate Thompson. I wore nine NHL sweaters, and I have story after story to share. And believe it or not, I have plenty to say and not just about hockey.
Starting point is 00:54:27 Believe me, he does. Energy Line with Nate and JSB is the name of the podcast and it's gonna be, well, it's gonna be quite the ride. We're officially line mates, Nate. We're the Energy Line. We'll have plenty of folks join us, current players, some of my former teammates, Hall of Famers, and wait to see some of the connections that Julie has. She has quite the Rolodex. Okay, we'll lean into Nate's playing experience and tap into our interests away from hockey
Starting point is 00:54:53 and try to do what Energy Lines are supposed to do, provide an emotional boost. How do you feel about all that, Nate? I'm vibing, Julie. I'm ready to roll. Listen to Energy Line with Nate and JSB on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Israel Gutierrez, and I'm hosting a new podcast, Dub Dynasty, the story of how the Golden State Warriors have dominated the NBA for over a decade. The Golden State Warriors once again are NBA champions.
Starting point is 00:55:24 From the building of the core that included Clay Thompson and Draymond Green to one of the boldest coaching decisions in the history of the sport. I just felt like the biggest thing was to earn the trust of the players and let the players know that we were here to try to help them take the next step, not tear anything down. Today, the Warriors dynasty remains alive,
Starting point is 00:55:43 in large part because of a scrawny 6'2 hooper who everyone seems to love. For what Steph has done for the game, he's certainly on that Mount Rushmore for guys that have changed it. Come revisit this magical Warriors ride. This is Dubb Dynasty. The Dubb's dynasty is still very much alive. Listen to Dubb Dynasty starting April 8th on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
Starting point is 00:56:07 you get your podcasts. Oh Joe fan fan yell excuse me Nico fired Nico to Nico Harrison's face speaks out the Dallas fan who screamed fire Nico and Nico Harrison's face on Monday night says his phone was taken and thrown to the ground shortly after the incident he tells TMZ he's planning to file a police report does Dallas not have a PR team how do they keep making this absolutely worse than what it already is? Listen, as a fan, you got to conduct yourself in the right manner. You know that you can scream at the owner, but you can't be screaming in the owner's face. If you're going to scream, had him scream from far away. It's okay. Disclosure pleasure with the decisions that he's made on the on the Davis and Luca trade but but come on man but come on but also on the other side management y'all they making it no better yeah why you're taking the man fall and throw it
Starting point is 00:57:15 to the ground come on now that's what you wanted oh he was waiting on your reaction of course wait on your back now What's the next thing? Why they try to sue? Oh, they're gonna sue you go follow for your course You know, i'm gonna try to sue all of this easy payday They don't pay they don't they gonna hush him pay him under the table give him to be quiet and going away Going about your business All right, oh Joe it's time for our final segment of the evening it's time for q Yeah, we're about to be Yeah, we about to be.
Starting point is 00:57:45 I was talking tonight, but I felt good tonight. Dang it. Mike, Mike, what's up, Uncle Ocho? Love the show. Question is, if both of you guys came out of retirement and played right now, who wins? With the Broncos and Ocho with the Bengals. Well, listen.
Starting point is 00:58:01 Can't come out of retirement. I got two artificial hips and bone on bone in my left knee. Uncle can't do nothing with standing on the sideline. Yeah, but let me tell you something. Well, that lets you know who would win because I can come out of retirement right now and play. Hypothetically speaking, if the opportunity presented itself, I had no injuries. I'm fine. If I got the call right now to come in and be the third receiver, boom, I'm ready to go. And yes, we'll beat the Broncos because the Broncos lost us last year.
Starting point is 00:58:29 What do you think would happen? Yeah. Yeah. Me, T and Shane. We went to the playoffs. Daniel Cummings said NFLPA needs work with players to build a savings and a strike fund. Shut this ish down until reasonable pay and healthcare is obtained for For vested players and retirees NFLPA no more backdoor deals Well, that's that's what I thought they were gonna do special in 2011 when they had when they had Especially coming out after they did this last deal. So it was up and they didn't do that. So It's it's hard. It's hard because
Starting point is 00:59:04 Guys, a lot of guys live paycheck to paycheck, Ocho. Remember, most of the time you want to get that money from September to January. That's it. And that money's got to last you February, March, April, May, June, July. Next month after that. Yeah. You got to make it your right. Now everybody doesn't make the same amount of money to be able to say, you know what,
Starting point is 00:59:21 okay, we're going to lock out. Okay, we're going to fight this thing. We need you all to save your money. Everybody's not able to say, you know what, okay, we gonna lock out. Okay, we gonna fight this thing. We need y'all to save you money. Everybody's not able to do that. Everybody's not make the same amount of money to do that. Correct. Aaron Owen says, how hard is it to adjust from your college playbook to your first pro playbook
Starting point is 00:59:40 when you got to the league? It was hard because all that verbiage, man, weage, man, we had a number system. It was quick. Yeah, I had a number system. Yeah, it wasn't no verbiage, Ocho. Yeah, it was 628-28-18-393. Yeah! It was easy. So now I'm hearing all this verbiage, 52 double slam in special.
Starting point is 01:00:02 52 double slam in special See wiggle see wag arm, man Man It was very hard for me King of acid What do you guys think the NBA NFL leaving MVP voting up the fans? SG has been playing phenomenal, but yokich is the player right now and it's not even close. OKC being number one seed is why SGA may win. Yeah, two things can be true. Yeah. No, I don't want the fans to vote because it's a popularity contest.
Starting point is 01:00:37 Because I've seen you guys vote guys into the Pro Vogue, vote guys into the All-Star game, vote guys into whatever. No, exactly. Look, guys into the All-Star game both guys and whatever no exactly look SGA should he's earned the right to win the MVP this year Nikola Jokic is the best player in the NBA two things can be true yeah SGA should win the MVP Nikola Jokic is the best player yeah Yeah. XXA, Capsanity, Braves, Waves, Jackson, Hayes, Dodgers and five. They look good.
Starting point is 01:01:16 Dewan Hyas, have you ever listened to a former coach or gym and thought, this is why you're a former coach or gym and not a current? Yeah, absolutely. Yes. When I hear some of them talk about the trades they would make, I say, that's why you sitting up here right next to me. Mike Tenenbaum? Yeah, that's why you sitting up here next to me. Lil' man, Ocho, go double or nothing on the 5200.
Starting point is 01:01:35 If he beats James Harrison, it wipes out the slate clean. But if he loses, he gotta pay post-fight. Man, you know good will, will ain't losing, man. I might be willing. Go in the Bible, read the story of David and Goliath. That's all it's gonna be like. Mm-hmm. Same, same outcome.
Starting point is 01:01:55 Hehehehehe. Retired Deputy Sheriff said, what's something women think men want in a relationship that men actually don't care about? Ocho? Oh, that's a good one. And that varies depending on the man you ask, too. Yes, yes.
Starting point is 01:02:14 That's a great, that's a, hey, that's a great question. And I can only speak on behalf of myself. Um... I like women think being dolled up being dolled up I love I love women think that oh depending on the individual that you're seeing that you have to be dolled up and dressed in press hair makeup lashes and I don't care about all that man I'm simple put on put on your sweats and your flip flops and you know a tank top and I'm good. I'm good. Seeing you in your natural state is enough. You know being dolled up is one thing but that's a version of yourself that I'm not going to wake up to every day.
Starting point is 01:02:57 Just not. It's cool that I know you can do it but I just love a woman in her natural state. Was something women think men want in a relationship, marriage? Cupcake Bobba said, as men, do you feel like you've ever had the space to be vulnerable in love? Yes. Oh, oh, Chuck. Hey, you know, I get you burned so many times, huh? Yeah, cause I'm like, if I open up and then you throw it in my face. So I just keep it to myself. Yeah and then you throw it in my face.
Starting point is 01:03:46 So I just keep it to myself. Yeah, that's what I got a therapist for. Or my sister, my sister's my therapist. Vulnerability is one of the best, one of the best things, one of the best feelings when you're able to do it with the right person. One of the best things when I're able to do it with the right person. One of the best things when I, when I think of that word love, most of the time in certain situations, especially at a certain level, when you reach a certain status, that it's not really love and just what you're able to provide and it being stability, convenience and opportunity.
Starting point is 01:04:20 Love. Love and loyalty is nothing but a word in the dictionary between opportunity and convenience. That's it. Loyalty and love in the dictionary when you reach a certain level of status is nothing but a word in the dictionary between opportunity and convenience. That's it. And we've shown time and time and time again. Every time. Coolass N said, uh, didn't warn us about Rose Sparks and La Portea mix. Oh, you mixed it?
Starting point is 01:05:00 Nobody mixed it. Well, golly! He had that- he had that little wood and that spark would combine Well, he like the economy right now I'm just trying to figure out a Watch over you have to go nowhere. Can I all do I? Bad, please you need stay home. Get you a ice bag. They said, hey, can you wish my grandmother Irene
Starting point is 01:05:36 and my mother, Shell, happy birthday? Both of them are this week. We absolutely can. Happy grandma, Irene, mother Mother Shell, happy early birthday. Hopefully you guys got something planned. I'm sure since it's your birthday. Birthdays are close. You guys gonna probably go out,
Starting point is 01:05:52 have your good time, get something to eat. Get you a one and one good old buffet. Hey, you know what? Ace, take them to Ruth's Chris. Take them to a nice steak dinner. Let them let their hair down. Let them have something good. Courtesy of you, Ace.
Starting point is 01:06:07 Grandma and mom, they deserve that. They earned that. Dr. Frank L. Bellamy, we've seen your checklist. You want no burps, passing gas, fresh breath, like peppermint, gum in a snowstorm. But now it's your turn. Please answer yay or nay. Are you looking for a teammate or a house plant?
Starting point is 01:06:26 Oh, oh. I don't see for me, Ocho. I don't think. I think I was the other one. Ocho, that's like a woman said, I want somebody six foot tall. I want somebody to make X amount of money. Right.
Starting point is 01:06:40 I want somebody that's well versed. I want somebody to like to travel. So women get to have stipulations Well, Shannon can't have nothing. I see you going with it. I See I see you cooking right now. Go ahead. She was about people's like well, that's a natural function Well, why don't you just go out in public just pull you the pants down the table dunk on the sidewalk Come on that the natural function. Come on. You cooking that I'm saying I'm confused. Y'all making seem I'm asking y'all to go rob a bank. All I'm saying, bro, I mean for somebody that feels that comfortable to just be walking
Starting point is 01:07:16 around the house as a woman, to just do that. I like it. I like it. Because that's vulnerability, Uncle. I don't want you to have... No, that's nastability. No like it. Because that's vulnerability, Unc. I don't want you to hide. No, that's nastability. No, it's vulnerable. Being vulnerable, especially being vulnerable around somebody that you love, somebody that you're dealing with. You know, it's a sense of peace of not having a,
Starting point is 01:07:34 oh Lord, every time I gotta use the bathroom, I gotta go hide and hide away from Unc. Or every time I have to pass gas, I gotta go in the other room and hide from Unc. Like that's draining. You ain't gotta hide from me. Just go, look. And people are like, oh, you're, listen, I'm not telling you what.
Starting point is 01:07:49 Ask anybody. When you see my brother, if you see my sister, ask them. Bernie and Mary Porter did not play that. Now it was different. We had to go to the woods. So we didn't have to worry by hearing him be hitting the toilet or somebody's poop with the door open. You took your butt in the woods, found you a tree to hide behind, and that was it. But Barney and Mary Porter did not play that.
Starting point is 01:08:15 We didn't talk at the dinner table. Ask my brother what... If you wanted to talk at the dinner table, you ate your food and you got up and you wouldn't talk. Only grown folks talked at the dinner table. Okay. Okay. Now I don't know how y'all did it. Now how y'all did things and maybe y'all came to a situation and y'all mom let y'all pass gas and just, just blow it up in the house.
Starting point is 01:08:39 Okay. That's fine. But I'm telling you, that's not going to work with Shannon. Okay. I'm not everybody's cup of tea and I'm okay with that. Right. I'm letting you know what it is when you go in. So it's not like, oh, oh, before this you used to, no, no, that's never gonna be cool with me. It's never. Anybody that I've ever been with, who y'all think I've been with, ask them. If somebody tell you, oh, y'all used to pass gas around the shed and say, no, you ain't been with who y'all think I've been with ask him if somebody tell you oh yeah you should pass gas around just say now you ain't been with shadow sharp
Starting point is 01:09:07 mm-hmm anybody anybody they'll tell you I'm the side been the same that's that's not gonna fly with me I don't think I'm asking too much I don't have a whole lot of rules yeah you what you want before what I don't know Joe but for a woman to thank you It's okay to just just just blow it up. Just one. Oh Hey, oh no Mm-hmm Not even daddy won't work with me, but I mean to each his own I mean I'll just say he cool with that. Okay, y'all need to find somebody like, Oh, that's that's a round of old, like
Starting point is 01:09:45 Ocho that's cool with y'all passing gas in front of them, perfect and all that kind of stuff. Listen, why would you want to leave the bathroom door open when you go into the bathroom? There's a reason why the door is on it. No, that's not though. If me, I'm gonna tell you again, and you missing out on some quality time
Starting point is 01:10:08 and great conversations, some of the best conversations I had when you're in a relaxed state, she in the use of the bathroom, or you in the use of the bathroom, and you're going back and forth and conversing. I don't know what the fuck it may be. Ain't nobody conversing, we ain't got nothing to talk about.
Starting point is 01:10:21 Cause everything we can talk about, we can talk about once I'm done or she's done. There will be no conversating. You don't understand, you don't know what to talk about because everything we can talk about we can talk about what I'm done or she's done There will be no conversation. You don't understand. You don't understand It's hard to explain because you ain't been there yet unless you've been there It's hard for you to get get it to resonate with you because it's something that you don't see fit doing I'm not I'm not and don't go into a you need to go into don't hey Can you bring me some toilet paper toilet paper? No, I can't bring you nothing I'm gonna leave the house you go ahead and walk your neck and stink booty tail up out of the bathroom
Starting point is 01:10:51 Then go get it cuz I'm not I'm not gonna open the door and hand you a roll of toilet paper That ain't happening Come on, you trippin man Mm-hmm. We at least we gonna get you right though. We gonna get you right Hey, hey, do like I do when ain't nobody there and I need toilet paper. I hop Go get the toilet paper. That's what you need to do cuz I ain't that it will happen So you trippin nah, they trippin Oh, I told y'all bro, I broke up with a girl one time for doing that.
Starting point is 01:11:27 Damn, pass and get, come on. You think that's cool? Okay, don't worry about it. I got a trick for you. Boy, I changed that number so quick. Then you changed the number? Changed it. and never talked again for one person That's disrespectful
Starting point is 01:11:53 All right Hold on. You think you fit a lamp in my bed? Yeah Excuse me, okay Excuse me, okay. Boy, I said, Lord, I said, woo Lord. The night could not, boy, hell, I thought I was in Alaska, that long ass summer night. Babbies, I don't play like that, man. So did y'all, did y'all,
Starting point is 01:12:20 did you shake, did you shake the sheets or nah? Oh, y'all was done. And the best thing to happen, we had already done what we needed to do. Right, right, right, right, right. This is how you know I'm done. When I get that couple and I hit this number. Oh, you turned your back on them?
Starting point is 01:12:38 Did I? Damn, just because she farted. Boy, you know the Japanese tradition when you disarm one of them, they turn their back on you? Right. Oh. Boy, I gotta up out of there?
Starting point is 01:12:52 Yeah. I change, look here. I changed that number so quick. Oh, you changed your phone number for one person? Sure did. Cuz she farted? In the bed. No, that's. The bathroom right it. In the bed.
Starting point is 01:13:06 No that's. The bathroom was right there. The bathroom, the bathroom was right there. Well you run your leg shit like it's the green mile boy. Hey. Boy you cool, boy you a piece of work boy. I don't play, I don't, I don't know. Like I said, ask anybody that have dealt with me,
Starting point is 01:13:27 I don't play them games like that. I don't play like that. I've never played like that. And people say, oh, you set in your ways. I was like this when I was 17, I was like this when I was 22, I was like this when I was 28, in my 30s and my 40s.
Starting point is 01:13:40 I don't play like that. I don't play them kind of games. I got you. I understand. I'm a little bit more lenient in those areas. I ain't lenient than that. I'll tell you straight up. I'd rather you take $25 from me. I'd rather have $25 in my drawer and you take it than do that nasty. Man, thank you guys for joining us for another episode of Nightcap.
