And after nine hours, you come out with seven pages and then you're, you're moving on.

Starting point is 00:03:37 See dkng.com slash promos for deposit, wagering and eligibility restrictions, terms and responsible gaming resources. According to Adam Schefter, several teams have expressed interest in trading for Bryce Young. You're never gonna get what you gave up to get him. Despite the fact Dave Canales said Carolina Panthers did not intend to trade the former number one overall pick, so you were gonna bench him either. According to Schefter, although the Panthers have said they don't plan to trade Young at this time, sources around the league believe it's only a matter of time before Carolina actually does complete a deal. I'd like to see him. I'd like to see a
Starting point is 00:04:21 change of scenery. I'd like to see a change of scenery. I like to see a change of scenery where he goes is very important. I'm not sure if he'll be a starter, but maybe due to injury based on where he goes, if a starting quarterback goes down and he's able to get in there with the adequate offense with a good supporting cast, then we can get to see the Bryce Young that we're used to seeing when he was at Alabama. And it's unfortunate that it came to this. And I think the benching is so early and only a second year because of the
Starting point is 00:04:50 impatience of Dave, of Mr. Tepper and Dave Kanellis knows that, knows that very well, you know, the fire, Frank Wright, Frank Wright, 11 games in the season because things weren't going well. Mr. Kanellis knows that as well. He knows his leashes short if they don't continue with and he just felt that they couldn't win Bryce Young at the time.
Starting point is 00:05:11 And he's gonna learn. He's gonna learn. I don't think much is gonna change with Andy Dalton at the helm too. You already, again, Andy Dalton, if Andy Dalton is the answer, I need to know the question you're asking. Second of all, Mojo, do you realize how far you would have set
Starting point is 00:05:25 this organization back? Because if you miss that, you miss on that guy. Yeah. Now, you're probably not going to be in a position to draft another one. And if you do, then what? If you don't surround, if you draft another quarterback and you don't surround it with anything, the same thing is going to happen to that quarterback that happened to this one. Right to square one and it's probably going to keep happening until they draft right. And I'm not gonna look the way he treated Steve Wilkes after he turned that program around with Matt Ruhl and you didn't even give him a I don't wish bad. I'm just like my grandma used to say boy I don't wish bad on nobody, but I sure don't wish good on either So I'm not saying I wish bad, but I don't wait. I don't wish prosperity either
Starting point is 00:06:13 Yeah, I just think he's handled some situations very poorly I think Steve will deserve an opportunity to get that job and hopefully another opportunity presents himself for Steve. But that was a very, that was a very, I mean, he doesn't have patience. I don't know how he thought he was going to be a great owner without patience because you got to have that old Joe. You got to have it. That's rule number one. That's rule number one in business in general. Forget owning a team, being an entrepreneur, running a business.
Starting point is 00:06:46 And now we talk about the NFL. Like you can't use money and buy your way into winning. It takes time. It takes time. And then, you know, they showing the situation. I think his ex is dating Tyrese Maxx. I think they like that's on his mind. You see what I said, Ocho?
Starting point is 00:07:04 You see? You think so? If you keep so if you keep if you keep your stuff private if you keep your stuff private You can break up in private Yeah, if you date publicly you gonna have to break up publicly and get everybody go start speculating. That's why you play in bad That may or may not know the case but I see they have no girlfriend to play like crap. Guys be married and play terrible. I mean, we got to stop automatically soon because somebody's playing bad. There's something going on in their lives that's leading them to play bad. That's not always the case.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Now that can be the case. Have I seen it? Yes. Yeah, yeah, it can be a distraction. It can be a distraction. So, but I don't think that played a factor. I'm assuming they've probably been, uh, they haven't been together for a while, especially for her to be moving on like that in public. I mean, you know what I'm trying to say? I know what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:08:00 I know what you're saying. Yeah, it's been done. We just catching wind up because they she just going in public now She's not yours it just your turn I mean that's the thing I mean is there a time limit on joke You break up you break up with some you break up with somebody if there's a time limit in which you could go public with another person No, no, I don't think it's a time limit, but I think for those that know- Nah, you need problems.
Starting point is 00:08:28 I need to know you hurt, because if you right away, you ain't love me anyway. Oh, listen, listen, forget about love. Forget about love. If she moves on right away, she was already talking to that individual, you know, planting that seed while y'all were still together.
Starting point is 00:08:41 You think so, don't you? That's why the transition, that's why the transition you're moving on was so easy because she for once, she was already mentally checked out anyway. And she moves on and moving on fast. That person was already in play anyway. And if he's smart, you have a better understanding anyway,
Starting point is 00:08:56 if she's willing to deal with you while you with me, at some point as time goes on, then you gonna get the same treatment too. So it's a cycle. The cycle never ends. Hey, my grandpa used to say, boy, if they cheat with you, they'll cheat on you. Don't let that go over your head, chat.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Listen. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh I've said it before myself. I've said it before myself. Whatever they're willing to do with you when they're not yours, they will do to you when they belong to you. And the cycle will continue to repeat itself over and over and over and over, no matter what. Hey, you say they do what they do for you, and you know they knew. Cause you say all of a sudden,
Starting point is 00:09:44 woman start working out. Rap on say, boys, you get ready for somebody else to see her naked. That's when you just slumped out of that trip like real. Yeah. And that's the wonderful thing of what we call life. And one thing about human nature, one thing about human nature, human nature is undefeated. It is.
Starting point is 00:10:10 It is. Undefeated. Undefeated. You can post as many quotes as you want. You can say anything you want. That would be killing me with that, Ocho. And don't live by name. They quit.
Starting point is 00:10:24 They quit. God. God of by name. They quit God. God in my life. God child. Don't. What? And don't live by name bit of it. Yeah. They got a hand on the Bible dude beating her back in. But she God child. Okay. Yeah, okay. Jaden Daniels is Matthew mark Luke and John he's the gospel He's him H period I period here. Yeah, he's here. Well, yeah, he is he is 21 of 23 254 yards to touchdowns zero turnovers yards, two touchdowns, zero turnovers, 91% completion percentage.
Starting point is 00:11:10 He goes on the road and a hostile environment against the area. And they, we know the bingo, the crowd is going to be raucous. They're O and two. They don't want to go down. Oh, and three. It's very, very hard to make the playoffs going down. Oh, to three, because guess what? In order for you to get back to 500, you gotta win your next three games. That gets you back at 500.
Starting point is 00:11:28 You have a slip up, you could easily be one in five or two in five. Matter of fact, not to make matters worse, ask Ash, I'm not even gonna say it, ask Ash who we play next. Watch this. Ask Ash who the Bangles play next. Don't y'all got Baltimore?
Starting point is 00:11:44 No, Baltimore, who do you got next? I'm going to go to the game. Back to this game. Listen, Jayden Daniels was phenomenal. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player.
Starting point is 00:11:52 He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player.
Starting point is 00:12:00 He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. He was a great player. got? Panthers circled y'all on a schedule. Listen, I'm going to that game. Back to this game. Listen, Jaden Daniels was phenomenal. Jaden Daniels at the quarterback position played phenomenal tonight. Listen, the franchise, the commander franchise, they got them one. They got them a 10-12 year franchise quarterback.
Starting point is 00:12:25 And we got a small sample size of it at LSU. I didn't expect them to come in this early as a rookie. And this is the question I'm gonna ask you, as a rookie and look this good this early. And my question to you, Anki, is what you might have a better way of answering, why is it that some rookies can come in their rookie year and look the par to look like they've been before the CJ Shrouds, the Jaden
Starting point is 00:12:53 Daniels. And then you have other rookies that don't look the par. They struggle. They don't do well. That's within any position. Some wide receivers come in and you get a Randy Moss or you get a Pooka Nakua or you get a Justin Jefferson. And then sometimes guys it takes a little longer. Everybody doesn't mature some people reach maturity at 18. Some people it takes them 21. Some people take some 25 some people never damn mature. But you do it all depends on look the one thing we know
Starting point is 00:13:23 about Cliff Kingsbury. He can go some quarterbacks Yeah, yeah He and Lincoln Riley can coach quarterbacks now we can you can say what you want to say about them as head coaches but it when it comes to running an offense when it comes to putting a quarterback and taking what he does really well and Accentuating that and putting him in the most positive position so you he can have success. It's hard to say somebody is better than those two. Now, Sarkeesian might have something to say about that because we know what he's done with quarterbacks in his tenure as an OC and a head coach. But that's the one thing, Cliff Kingsbury, Lincoln Riley can do. They can coach the quarterback
Starting point is 00:14:00 position and he has a quarterback, processes information very well. He sees the field very well. He had Terry McLaurin earlier on a seven route and he threw it out of bounds. A hundred percent of the balls that land out of bounds, they're incomplete. But you say what he did on that next one, he put it up under the wrist, gave McLaurin an opportunity,
Starting point is 00:14:22 keep him in bounds. In the bread bag. And McLaurin did a great job of holding on to it Oh, did this young man? I mean the moment is not too big. You saw what he did at LSU last year He won the Heisman Trophy. He was sensational do a threat quarterback, but the thing that I love most about him He's not relying on his legs. He will only run if it's absolutely necessary. This was supposed to be marquee year for the Dolphins. So far it's turned into a nightmare. As it stands, Tua will not be able to practice and play until week eight at the earliest. And even that might be a hopeful timeline. While the schedule is extremely favorable until that time, they get the Titans, Patriots, Colts and Cardinals. It's tough to favor Miami and any of them based on their quarterback situation.
Starting point is 00:15:11 Listen, brother Skyler Thompson is hurt. Tyler Huntley is stepping in. Tyler Huntley has played some good football. Winning with the Ravens. Like I think he can bring a little bit of excitement. It's a different bit of excitement. It's a different type of offense though. That was a run based offense. And you know what? This is a pass based offense. You know what I think from a passer standpoint? I think he'll be a little bit better than
Starting point is 00:15:33 Skyler Thompson. Would you betcha? And being able to get that god damn ball to waddle. Being able to get that ball to cheese up. Being able to get that ball to, yeah, I think we gonna be all right now. Got a nice little quarterback. He pull it down and run with it when he need to take this out. It might not be as bad as you think if he can if he can if he can get in the boys about maybe the two and two. What
Starting point is 00:15:57 is bad. So you you don't believe in Tyler. It's bad. Right. You say it's not as bad as I think. No, it's not as bad as you may think it is. I think it's worse. I'm not saying that we bringing in Lamar Jackson. Okay. I ain't calling Lamar Jackson,
Starting point is 00:16:14 but man he can play some ball. You know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know? You know, Huntley was a free agent at one time, right? A free agent, which means any other 32 other teams
Starting point is 00:16:26 that any other team could have signed in. Oh, it just stopped. Not as you a quarterback. They might do that to some other positions, not that position, because it's too valuable. It's too valuable a plot of land. I'm gonna say something, but I ain't gonna say it. I don't even feel like being controversial.
Starting point is 00:16:46 But don't worry about it. I'm gonna let that one go. I think the thing is that look there are Ryan Tannehill is available. Cam Newton is available. I don't know if Cam really wants to play or if he's in shape to play football. Des's been ridder, whoo, possible trade targets. Bryce Young, Russell Wilson, Carson wins. To Miami. Bryce Young and two on the same team? I wonder why they, I mean, what other quarterbacks out there that are familiar with that offense?
Starting point is 00:17:23 I mean, what other quarterbacks out there that are familiar with that offense? I like Tani Hill. Tani Hill would have been nice. Carson Wentz. Carson Wentz ran a variance of it under Doug Peterson. Doug Peterson learned under Andy Reed. Got the West Coast system from Coach Parcell, Mike Hongren. So it's an offshoot of it. It's not like Kyle Shanahan and Sean LeVay and Mike McDaniel, all those guys really.
Starting point is 00:17:59 But it's an offshoot of it. Or they could tank and get the number one pick. Hey, I mean, you know how difficult it is to tell me. And you might get and you might get Travis Hunter. Oh, okay. Wait, Jacksonville. Oh, no, Miami. Oh, no, I'm thinking about the quarterback situation because I'm thinking about uh being a bus I'm thinking about being a bust. I hate using that word. I hate using that word for that position.
Starting point is 00:18:30 Especially when you go as high as number one. It took Miami, Chidor. Man, that's, no, that's impossible. You just paid two, that's impossible. You just paid to her, that's impossible. Damn, man. I mean, sometimes people build a new house and sell it. No, not really. Sometimes people build a new house and sell it.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Not really, I've never heard of that one. If you build something, you're gonna to be that longer than three or five years. Oh yeah. Are you trying? No, I'm looking to flip. That's a good one. Hey, it's Bobby Bones. Join me and former NFL quarterback, Matt Castle every Wednesday for our new podcast, Lots to Say with Bobby
Starting point is 00:19:26 Bones and Matt Castle. Between us, we have over 17,500 passing yards, multiple New York Times bestsellers, and one mirror ball trophy from Dancing with the Stars. So where else are you going to find a show with that much athleticism and football insight? Based in Nashville, we're more than just your basic NFL show. We talk sports, but we talk pop culture and music and a little bit everything, cause we got lots to say. I texted you and you texted me back.
Starting point is 00:19:50 Now, I don't know if you have the update, but like all the little thumbs up and heart and stuff, like it's all colored. They changed it. And the heart's a little pink. It felt like I told you I loved you. I'm gonna be honest, it was a little pink. There was something sentimental when you sent it.
Starting point is 00:20:04 It was like, do I send the heart now? I don't like the color edition. It's extremely pink. Let's have a lots to say with Bobby Bones and Matt Castle on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm so sick of hearing men talk about women's basketball. If only there were a professional WNBA player with her own podcast I could listen to. Hey, this is Lexi Brown, WNBA player and professional yapper.

Starting point is 00:23:12 You can find us on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Elf Beauty, founding partner of iHeart Women's sports. Maybe they go back. Now that now that's a good move. You talk about you want to you want to add a spark to your offense and not miss a beat or a step. You go get your Joe Flacco.
Starting point is 00:23:38 But. Yeah, you do. You push it down the field. Now he got an arm. He ain't gonna move now. The Statue of Liberty has moved more than Joe Flacco in the last 175 years. Yeah, I got you. Okay, one thing. But anyway, you get where I'm going. Derrick Henry, 209 total yards, a buck 99 on the ground.
Starting point is 00:24:00 He caught a touchdown pass. The Ravens look very, very good tonight. And all three phases of the game, offense, defense, special teams, the special team didn't really, the kicking game really didn't come into play because when they got the ball down there, they got the ball into the end zone.
Starting point is 00:24:15 The Baltimore Ravens are starting to look like the Baltimore Ravens. We expected them to look like Lamar Jackson. Again, outstanding performance. What was he? 13 of 18, 15 156 two touchdowns no turnovers Derek Henry 24 for 199 uh I wanted him to get that man he wanted that thing bad he wanted that two bills two if I'm about to build it one 99 I gotta get you the word like I have a
Starting point is 00:24:39 staff man they tell like last last week just yesterday, they came and told me, hey, Travis need 10 more yards to go for another 100 for this like six consecutive game. Right. So we was getting ready to try to get him a quick slam or something to get him his 10 more yards because we're aware of that stuff. But the game, it played out differently and I didn't want to be insulting to throw him a ball when we're up, you know, right by margin. So the staff tells you that they should have gotten that one more yard, man. Right. Yeah. Well, he needed, he needed six.
Starting point is 00:25:11 No, he needed four because he had 196. He came in. He got to he got upset because on the last, the last possession, they tossed it to him and he wanted a straight handoff. He wanted to hand it to him. Let the he didn't want to toss cause he know the defense is going to be flowing because if you know you need that many yards, guess who else know you need that many yards?
Starting point is 00:25:31 The defense. But all these big plays came from the toss switch though. That, that, that, that's probably why they did that. All these big runs he broke came from the toss switch. And the, and the fullback, but I didn't, I didn't like it because what they did is they had the fullback, they had the fullback in the offset. So I liked him straight up in the they did is they had the fullback they had the fullback in the offset
Starting point is 00:25:45 So I like him straight up in the eye But when you watch this game, oh Joe, what did you like about what you saw from the Ravens? Listen? They look completely different than what they look the previous what week week one What is that being able to run the ball? I kind of feel sorry for the receivers. I feel sorry for Zay a little bit I feel sorry for Aguilar Mark Andrews unlikely because they're not getting the touches I think they should because the running game is so efficient,
Starting point is 00:26:11 especially tonight. The play action worked a little bit better because the running game was so efficient. Derrick Henry doing what Derrick Henry does. We saw the Derrick Henry of old that we saw when he was with Tennessee somewhat in his prime. Obviously being able to hit his head off the goal post and I'm not sure how old Derek Henry is,
Starting point is 00:26:28 but what he went 97, 95 and nobody- They couldn't catch him. 87, first time. Nobody can catch him? They, uh uh, couldn't catch him. He had great wins, he had great wins. Yeah, it- There you go, there you go, I see.
Starting point is 00:26:40 What, what, don't you mean? I just said he had great wins. Chad, what was I saying on that? Bam. To get loose to the Broncos, Aaron Rodgers annoyed at Salah's comments on offensive cadence. That's not good. Head coach quarterback Orte.
Starting point is 00:26:55 I mean, head coach saying one thing, star player saying something different. That wasn't me, because I'd be on the cross like this. Who's the boy? Sinberrabus. They'd be on the Sinberrabus. I'd be on the cross like this. Cruiserboy, send them the Rebbers. They'd be on the send the Rebbers. I'd be on the cross. That was me.
Starting point is 00:27:09 Hey man. Lord, that was all you were coming on that. They need to be on the same page. When? Hold on, Ocho. When has Rodgers ever been on the same page? He marched to the beat of his own drum. Y'all know that.
Starting point is 00:27:22 You can't do your coast like that. You can't throw your coast like that. You can't throw your coach like that. He's always done that. He's always done that. He's always done it. When has he not done it? You see, that's what happens when you're great like that. You got MVP's, you won a Superbowl.
Starting point is 00:27:39 Ain't nobody gonna say anything. Hold on, let's get this straight, big fella. Everybody on this thing was great now. We ain't liking greatness on this call. No, no, but I'm saying, but you know, the time you know how, when it comes to the quarterbacks, the more, the more, the more hardware you have, the greater you are, the greater people are willing
Starting point is 00:28:00 to sweep what you say, what you do under the car. Wait, there's another, there's another. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Starting point is 00:28:12 no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I'm gonna leave that down for my point. But when does it stop? When does it stop? Never. Never. No, no, no. One thing about it, everybody in this game has a shot clock. Oh yeah, oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:34 Everybody in the game has a shot clock. Guess what happens? It happens to everybody. They'll tolerate you. That's right. They can replace you. That's right. Did you not see what happened in Green Bay? With the quarterback before Aaron Rodgers? Did you not see what happened in Green Bay with the quarterback before Aaron Rodgers? Did you not see what happened to Aaron Rodgers?
Starting point is 00:28:49 They will tolerate you. Go back and look. AB situation in Pittsburgh. They will tolerate you until they can replace you. And when they replace you, they done. It happens. AB Shannon ain't talking about you because you know AB is shooting back Shannon. They talking about you because you know,
Starting point is 00:29:05 a B issue back to you. I just want to say you a B, a B relentless on this one. I love you. Don't know. Shana Shana Shana. So he saw him. He ain't ain't ain't talking about you. Leave alone time.
Starting point is 00:29:19 The one thing the one thing I've learned about you, what you told me is a block that noise out. You know who you are. That's right. Somebody somebody saying this about you, what you told me is that, hey, block that noise out. You know who you are. That's right. Somebody saying this about you or calling you this, you know that's not who you are. So why does somebody that you don't even have no dealings with saying something about you, bother you?
Starting point is 00:29:38 That's right. Be like, bro. It's the attraction. It's the attraction. Most people are attracted to hate. I'm attracted to love. Show me you love me, I got you. I'm attracted to love too to hate. I'm attracted to love. Show me you love me, I got you. Listen, I'm attracted to love too,
Starting point is 00:29:48 but I need a little bit of hate. Prime, I need a little bit of hate. I need a little balance. Like on Twitter, like on Instagram. See, you probably got ping pong pedals on your bed, and you ain't got no ping pong tape. You probably wanna be spanking all that dog. I got a whole dungeon.
Starting point is 00:30:02 I got a whole dungeon, bet you won't. Yeah, see, I don't wanna hear that. I got a whole dungeon. You got your room. Yeah. See, I don't want to hear that. I'm just telling you about me. You got a swing set. You want to see it? I got a swing set right here. No, I do not want to see it.
Starting point is 00:30:15 You know what, Chet? For those of you saw the movie 50 Shades of Grey, that was my script. They took the field. I sent in footage. I was supposed to be Christian Grey. I was supposed to be Christian Gray. I was supposed to play that part. They took my script and the footage. I sent in visual reference to show them what I could,
Starting point is 00:30:34 you know, what I had and what I could do and what I do at home in my little dungeon. And then when they made a movie out of it, I sued and all. I won. It's sad thing about it. Sad thing about it. It's a little truth of what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:30:44 See, that's the thing that they don't understand. It's a little, so every good joke, it's a little truth to it. Yeah, I'm clueless. It's a truth to it. My last name in heart and I don't tell no jokes. I lie for you before I lie to you. Well, y'all, hey, I'm clean, I'm clean as they come.
Starting point is 00:31:01 Ty, you know me, I'm clean as they come, Ty. Yes, sir. clean as they come. I'm time. You know me. I'm clean as they come time. Oh Joe and Tony O'Pierce, head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, like the Nike post speculating that Devontae Adams might have played his last snap with the Raiders. Don't be sports Illustrated wrote. Don't be surprised if Dev Devonte Adams has already played his last night with the Raiders, Michael Fabinio. How do you say the last name? Michael Fabiano.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Liked by Antonio. You have to understand when you see, when you hear things like that or when media has speculations like that, it comes from somewhere. It ain't it ain't coming out. It ain't coming out the air. It ain't coming out the air. It ain't coming out the air. So the fact that we're in the social media area, Antonio Pierce and many other coaches have social media as well. And the fact that him liking it, what did Antonio Pierce say in his...
Starting point is 00:32:00 He says, I have some guys out there making business decisions. We will make business decisions. Now, if Devontae Adams happens to end up with the New York Jets, I say it first. If Devontae Adams happens to end up, there was one more team that was a needed receiver. If Devontae Adams happened to end up in Kansas City, I say it first. Okay. If it ain't Devontae Adams in the city, it will be a Mario Cooper. I you can you can you can book that.
Starting point is 00:32:34 Or what you call it, or I I'm sure I'm sure what you got to go to Dihau. But I. Because I was surprised that he didn't get D hop when he was available. They weren't getting enough money. Remember? I thought that would be a good they would cut me short on the cash. Right. Yeah. Throw me the bag. You know what I could do. But here's the thing,
Starting point is 00:33:01 Ocho is that what you gave up to get Devante, you're not going to nobody's gonna give you two horse round of these take to get a wide receiver. Cause I guess what? I know you want to get rid of it. See Tyreke got what he wanted because they called everybody off guard. Nobody that, Hey, what? Nothing. There was no, there was no speculation.
Starting point is 00:33:27 As a matter of fact, they had just, did they lose the Superbowl? They had just lost the Superbowl. I think they lost. They lost to Tampa. Yeah. I'm not mistaken. No, they know. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:33:42 They lost to Cincinnati in the championship game. That was Tyree's last game. Because remember, they ended up picking a path. He threw a deep pass and they end up getting picked off the Tyree. Nobody knew that Tyree wasn't available. Drew wanted to do a deal. Tyree wanted to be a high pay. The one thing is, hey, they're not gonna let you
Starting point is 00:34:05 force the hand. And they says, okay, hey, you can go shop yourself. So it's like, hold on, we need to tell you we can get Tyreek, knowing that there are some teams out there, Ocho, they really need a receiver. You talking about one of the top three, one of the top, he one of the top one. He probably go get past three.
Starting point is 00:34:27 So you got one of the top three receivers available. Whatever you whatever you want. What are you going to take to get it? Whatever you want. But listen, you got to understand that them Candice D. Cheese are in dire need. Of a playmaker. I mean, I don't think they give up.
Starting point is 00:34:43 I don't think they would be two first rounders at this point. Okay. No, that's my point. You're not going to get in return what you, you know how it is. You buy a car, the likelihood of you buying, you go buy a car right off the lot. Keep it for three weeks. Absolutely not. I think the cheats understand it.
Starting point is 00:35:01 I think the Raiders understand that. But why would you continuously keep a player that's not happy around that? That is let it be known that he's not happy and he wants to be out. He's not vocal about it, but look at his body language. Look at his mannerisms. Right. You know, they're gonna make it happen. I'm telling you the positive.
Starting point is 00:35:20 This is not what he signed up for. He thought that when he came there, he was going to play with his college teammate. That's what he thought. And after one year, his college teammate was gone. And so now he played, he played with Aiden O'Connor. He's like, bro, who's going to give me the ball? Because y'all got, y'all got people out here thinking I'm, I'm losing a step. I'm stopping, stepping off a cliff and y'all not paying attention.
Starting point is 00:35:47 Who's throwing me the ball? I had Aaron Rogers. I come, I get Derek Carr. And guess what? I still go for fifteen hundred. Make first team all pro my first year with a new team. They trade quarterbacks. And we got these quarterbacks that throw me the ball. And y'all expect me to make, you know.
Starting point is 00:36:04 Wine out of what? Y'all at least if y'all gave me water and grapes, I could make wine. Y'all gave me vinegar. It's a go make wine. What is the one person turn board in the wine, man? But they say what the bondage say, well, that's what y'all want me to do. Just give me some, give me some grapes. I get the stomping water sugar. I could make some happen out of that. But you gave me vinegar. It's going to be better.
Starting point is 00:36:32 You're going to be all right. They don't listen. Antonio Pierce, they're going to make some business decisions. They're going to make it. I'm telling you, if you end up with the Jets. Or if you end up with the teams. I said, yeah. Yeah, because that's 2829 million. Yeah, 20.
Starting point is 00:36:49 Hello, I'll tell them. Ask your question. And this is what I tell people all the time when they need to pay him. I say, what are they finishing the division? Let me last. Well, they can finish that without it. I mean, oh, Joe, you can finish last division. That's not fair. Got 29, 30, 40, 50 million dollars.
Starting point is 00:37:07 I mean, if I'm paying that kind of money, shouldn't I be first? I mean, on the cusp of being first? Now they had a huge come from behind win, down 10 points again to Cleveland. They came back, beat Baltimore down 10 points. So they have resiliency. They have resolve.
Starting point is 00:37:23 Remember, you remember, in order to be in order to to to be efficient, you know, offensive, you got to have you got to have some dogs now. You got to have some dogs now. Yes. And you think you're going to all of you, you think you. I just think you think you're going to walk out there. I think the bar was. Go ahead. And you know, you won't be able to dance with it with the rockwilders.
Starting point is 00:37:47 That ain't going to happen. You got to have some dogs out there to be able to compete. You do. I just think Devontae at this point would be happier elsewhere. He won't say he won't say it, but I say it for him. Gideon's. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, he's like, I'm warming up my welcome here.
Starting point is 00:38:16 I can only do so much. I play a very dependent position and the people that I'm depending on, I can't or I shouldn't be. There ain't nothing worse to being, Oh Joe, you know how you like, you need a ride and need somebody to take you somewhere. And you already know, Hey bro, I need to be here by X time. And you are the worst thing you need to do in anything. Need a ride, being a relationship where you're dependent on that person.
Starting point is 00:38:46 You know, because you get dependent on a person, they treat you like any kind of high. Think about it. Somebody making the money, they expect you to take whatever they whatever they dish it out. Where you gonna go? Who will treat you like me? Well, I can go anywhere and get treated just like this here. I might not have the means, but at the end of the day, you treat me like a star front. That's a lot of folks in situations like that. Now you preaching that. It is. It is.
Starting point is 00:39:20 But it's like my grandfather, and I tell this all the time. I remember my grandfather very vividly telling my aunt's cuz they had gotten grown they were still at the house and they wanted to come You know, they wanted to come in one two o'clock in the morning. My grandfather say don't grumble and stay Grumbling leave he said tell me what tell me what a sob I am at your place, but you ain't gonna tell me what I am in mine Because you're not coming in here at the time that you want to Grow folks have their own place Whole bunch of grown folks don't stay with other grown folks and then tell them how to run their house
Starting point is 00:39:54 I like roommates on that ain't having it at Barney Porter's house So guess what happened? Mm-hmm. They got this stuff in there Don't grumble and stay grumble and leave. Tell me what about before I am at your place. Right. Man, I can't stand that mofo. He make me sick. But you at your place saying that you're not going to say that here. You know, you know, and that
Starting point is 00:40:20 bad looking boy, I don't know, man. Look here. You talk about hurricane Paulie, Paula. Look here, Barney Porter, they played the drums. Amen. He did not play with his kids or nobody kids. It was, he was matter of. Right. Imagine what I am magnified times 10.
Starting point is 00:40:44 Imagine what I am magnified times 10. When that joke is saying I'm going to be at your house a certain amount of time, you better be sitting on that porch. When he's saying I'm coming to pick them kids up to go to Bible study or go to Sunday school, and I'm going to be there X time, it what? No. Hold on, Mr. Right there. And I will be there X time. It what? No, hold on Mr. Barney. You better be ready. Oh no. What?
Starting point is 00:41:14 What do you think we got there from Ocho? He did not play that. When that man say we leaving for church at this time. Lord have mercy. I should have had my brother tell you asking. Yeah. That joke didn't play at all. He was quick to say, look here, all that joke and the kiki kid, he's a great grown man. Don't play like that. All that kiki key.
Starting point is 00:41:41 That's where I get that kiki key from. Oh no. But I'll tell you what, what chat y'all see my brother asking say a sailor sterling man I heard your brother talking about your grandfather. Tell us what he was like See what he say Hey, it's Bobby bones join me and former NFL quarterback Matt Castle every Wednesday I don't know what to say about Deshaun, bro. ball trophy from Dancing with the Stars. Starting point is 00:42:42 They changed it. And the heart's a little pink. It felt like I told you I loved you. I'm gonna be honest, it was a little pink. There was something sentimental when you sent it. It was like, do I send the heart now? I don't like the color edition. It's extremely pink. Listen to lots to say with Bobby Bones and Matt Castle

Starting point is 00:46:04 Presented by Elf Beauty, founding partner of iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Elf Beauty, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports. I'm running out of words, Ocho. At some point in time, Ocho, just gotta stop now. Cleveland has a top more than 18 points in the game this season. The Browns in a week five with the worst third down offense in the NFL.
Starting point is 00:46:27 And they failed. They failed to convert all 12 of their third down attempts today. With Deshawn in the game. I got a question. At some point time, Ocho. What? What's the issue? What's the issue?
Starting point is 00:46:46 Is it mental? Is it the play calling? I mean, what do you think it is? And I'm confused. I've been watching football for a long time, for a very long time. And the nose dive that I've seen from a personal standpoint of R to be maybe a top
Starting point is 00:47:06 three quarterback when he was with with the Texans to what the version of the Sean Jackson I'm sorry the version of the Sean Watson I'm seeing now that's how in such a short amount of himself such a short time how barring Barring an injury, the only time, the only time Ocho, I can say I've seen this kind of drop off from any kind of player, hold on, is through injury. Injury, if you have a significant injury, that would explain it.
Starting point is 00:47:41 I could offer you, Ocho, man, you know the man tore his patella tendon. Ocho, you know, the man towards Achilles. He had back to back ACL surgery. Ocho, he almost had his shoulder ripped off the bone. So that would explain the cataclysmic drop in his plate. But I don't see an injury that would cause it. It's mental. It's mental. This is up here. Listen, do you know how hard that is to get back?
Starting point is 00:48:06 Especially at that position, at the quarterback position, the court, Hey, listen, yes, because you messed up mentally here. And at the quarterback position, you got the ball in your hands every time. So your judgment and your mind, it already got to be clear because if you judgment in your mind and you're not healthy as well on top of that. You'll never be you'll never be able to play well.
Starting point is 00:48:29 You'll never be able to excel with that position. Like I was thinking about it. I'm looking at I'm thinking about early. Well, God damn, I'm looking at what they're in the Browns, got a Mark Cooper. You got Nick Chubb,, you got Nick coming back soon. Maybe I think maybe two years, maybe one more. And Joku and Joku, you. The lies and you bought him a young bull.
Starting point is 00:48:58 And I'm going blank right now. You got the board, I'm a young boy, Jerry, Judy, you know, I'm like, OK, we good. Yeah, I'm like, well, okay, we good. Yeah, we good. We I'm talking about we good. I'm just saying from as a fan as a as a fan of the Sean Watson as a fan of some of these young bulls over there, man, that I enjoy watching. I'm like, okay, they don't compete.
Starting point is 00:49:18 They don't compete. They don't have a chance, you know, in the FC North. And it just is not what I envision based on what I've seen in the past. And I really can't put, I can't put my hands on it on why they look the way they don't even move the same. Oh Joe, he don't even move the same. You don't look the same in the pocket. And, and, and, and, and I think, you know, look, I'm not here to try to rehash and rethink anything,
Starting point is 00:49:47 but I think that, yeah, that, that weighed a lot on his mind. I think a way to hell of a lot on his mind. And he, what he's, he hasn't been the same. And I think everybody knows that I'm not breaking. Oh, Joe, you and I are not breaking news. Everybody knows they saw, I saw the guy, he led the league his last year starting in, in, in Houston, he led the NFL and passing yards. He did that. I'm not so sure. Deshaun,
Starting point is 00:50:21 he's a 28, 29, 30, 31st, 32nd. He's a bottom five quarterback currently. Look at Joe Flacco in Indy. Look at what Joe Flacco did in Cleveland. Joe Flacco is, if I'm not mistaken, I think I read this, is eight days younger than Anthony Richardson. Mom, hey, Joe, Joe, Joe, that. Oh, yes, yes. It's because I think sometimes, oh, Joe, when you have. Yeah. An image.
Starting point is 00:51:04 And. And then all of a sudden that image is not what was being portrayed. And people started like, you start to think, how do they look at me now? How do they perceive me? And that plays with you. Cause you're out in the public. It's if somebody, I would have bet so I would have lost a lot of money, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:51:34 If somebody would have said, Shannon, he's never going to be the same again. I said, man, you out your mind. I said, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I said, hold on. Is he going to have, Shannon, he's not going to have I'm like, hold on. Is he gonna have, Sheldon, he's not gonna have a career threatening injury. He's not gonna have anything. Nope, he's just not gonna be saying.
Starting point is 00:51:50 I would've bet it on the, I would've bet it with the quickness too. I know, I know it. I know what I've seen from him. I know what I've seen. And I've just never seen performance decline in such a fast rate, especially when you have a better supporting cast and what you had Houston.
Starting point is 00:52:14 And he's young. And also, it wasn't like he's 30. The Sean is 30. He can't because he came up. He's 29. I got a better question for came up. He's 29. I got a better question for you. He just turned 29, oh Joe. How do we get him back to the old Deshaun?
Starting point is 00:52:30 How do we fix the problem? How do we fix the issues? Let me ask you a question. In professional sports, when have you seen a guy have this kind of precipitous drop and bounce back up? Name the sport. Football, basketball, baseball. Ain't never happen huh?
Starting point is 00:52:59 Yeah man. It's hard Ocho because so much of sports is physical. Yes, we've seen guys that had talent, but if you're weak-minded mentally, that's where you have to be the strongest. What do they say? The best athletes have what? The strongest mentality. You gotta be.
Starting point is 00:53:20 Cause that's everything. You have to have a self-belief that I'm the baddest mofo on this field. This court, this diamond, this whatever the case, whatever your avenue, this court, what Serena, whatever your arena is, you have the mindset that I'm the baddest mofo here. Dang it. Cause a lot. Oh, Tom Brady had the most talented quarterback. Not even close. He might not be in the top one as far as talent.
Starting point is 00:53:56 I'm talking about physical talent. You know what I'm saying? I'm talking about the ability to run, jump, arm strength. That's what they beat you at. That's what they beat you at, hitman pain. That's a joke of mine. Drew Brees, that's where they beat you at, huh? They beat you upstairs. All that coach speak to Tom, oh man, that's a great,
Starting point is 00:54:18 Tom listen, and I tend to tell people, how do you know? I said, I'm telling you how they think. Let me tell you, we did a lot of this too. They gonna tell you what a great team that is, and they're really, really tough. They're really disciplined, they're really well coached. But in that closed door behind that meeting, Belichick is telling them we're gonna kick their ass.
Starting point is 00:54:36 And Tom Brady is in that meeting telling them at Brighton, we're gonna kick their ass. They don't deserve to be on the field, but we're gonna keep hyping them up. He actually believed that. And what great leaders can do, they can convince others around them to believe just like they are. They believe just what Tom was so great and so believable. Guys, we're going to do this. We're gonna do this. Man, you hear what Tom said?
Starting point is 00:55:07 Man, we down 14. Tom said we're coming back. Yeah, we coming back. Yeah, we coming back. That's how it works. I don't think the Sean, I don't think is what happened. Same thing. Look at Ben Simmons.
Starting point is 00:55:23 Oh, look at Ben Simmons in basketball. Lucho all defensive, all star, all NBA rookie of the year. Yeah, he got hurt. But a mentality was is that what happened in Philly y'all remember? I said, I said, he never gonna be the same. His coach criticized him and the best player on the team criticized him. But stuff like that shouldn't break you.
Starting point is 00:55:51 That's motivated right there. That's motivated. I ain't what I am. Coach, you have to understand. You don't think I'm cool? Oh, okay bet. Let me ask you a question. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:04 Yeah. It's the, it's the, it's four to five. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Let me ask you a question. OK, yeah, it's the it's the it's all the way. They call a place for you. Hold on. You say, hey, what that what down it is? OK, OK, I'm lined up. It's forced and fine. Oh, we're not. I know we're in the hotel. No, they call the place. They say, oh. Uh huh. Let's say we will call 200 J.
Starting point is 00:56:24 Excellent. That's you. You to ask. They say, oh, let's say we go call 200 J X land. That's you, you the X. No, no, but this what you do. You done lost your confidence so bad. You like Carlson. Oh hell nah. So TJ the ball. Hey you got hell nah, you got me fuck.
Starting point is 00:56:36 Boy, what fourth and five? And you know it's four down and they finna play man to man? Man, stop playing that. And you know, it's for that and they finna play man to man man Stop saying that You remember that game when they played Atlanta they pass Ben Simmons the ball Oh, hey when he when he when he had the layup and he passed it off I remember the play exactly See that I remember that you see that
Starting point is 00:57:00 You see what I'm talking about Dave Canales through Bryce Young back in the game with 415 remaining and Bryce took his first half in the game since being benched after 0-2. Oh, so you mean to tell me the quarterback situation that don't change anything, huh? Huh? On the first play he brought time and Scrabble found Miles Sanders open for a 27 yard game.
Starting point is 00:57:21 Canales brought, did a fantastic job with saying Andy Dogg will remain the starter for next week against the Falcons after the game Bryce young Ask if the current situation lit a fire put it here. Come on. What'd you think go Joe? political politically correct He's saying he's saying he's saying all the right things, but maybe that is just him though You can tell from his you know his manner from his manner, the way he carries himself. That's just him. That's his personality, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:57:48 Yeah, I see. I can see. That's his personality. I can see. Cool dude, real soft spoken. Real soft spoken. It just, you know, I think he gonna get the opportunity again. I just hope his confidence is that
Starting point is 00:58:04 whenever that opportunity presents itself, that he's ready mentally, you know? And I think it probably, it might be with the Panthers or if it's elsewhere, I hope he's ready. Well, until they get some weapons, they're like, don't put me back in there because I ain't gonna look no better because they ended up look look at any look at any dog numbers with those weapons and everybody oh oh and it don't look at any
Starting point is 00:58:33 dog we got a large enough sample size to know what any dog meals large enough plenty large I don't care who quarterback ain't nobody look you better be paid manning or Tom Brady and make this be received. They got they got some nice they got I mean they got they got some boys over there now once they get dealing once they get Adam Thielin back they got your leg it they got mingo you know they got some boy they got the aunt they listen they got the aunt they Johnson he had one target one kid they got some you know, some nice little pieces. They just got to put that shit together.
Starting point is 00:59:08 They got to put it together. And then when you have question marks at a quarterback position, that means the receiver position and the tight ends have to be that much better than the quarterback. They got to be. They got to be. And that's why he doesn't stand a chance
Starting point is 00:59:26 because they're not, they're not that much better. He ain't throwing, he ain't throwing the Kelsey and LaPorta and Kittle and guys like that. He's not throwing the Justin Jefferson and Chase and guys like that. Even if you want to go, even if you take those top 10 guys out and go to the next 10, what, what guy, if I give give you how many receivers you're gonna go to before you take Deontay Johnson? You leg it I get it
Starting point is 00:59:51 He's a rookie but how many receivers and tight ends are you gonna go through before you pick one off the Carolina roster? a bunch That's room Is the truth though. Rookies. Look at what CJ was throwing to. He had Nico Tankdale, Noah Brownswell. He had Dalton Schultz. He had Night's Peak. Which one of those guys are better than any of the guys that I named?
Starting point is 01:00:26 On the Panthers? Yeah. Which one of those guys is better than Nico Collins? Better than Tank Dale? Better than Dalton Schultz? Better than hell, Noah Brown? Comparison is the thief of joy. Yeah. And they stealing all the joy from Bryce Young because they ain't do it ish. I'm glad you brought that up. Hey, it's Bobby Bones.
