Don't when I get there, you on the sideline somewhere looking in on what we doing. Make sure you get ready to rap. I approach this game like I'm playing football, man. Starting point is 00:12:39 You ain't going to do nothing else. You got the right job. Right there. You're going to talk. That's what I've been doing. Hey, I'm from, you're from Harlem, right? Yeah. I used to be in Harlem back in the day, back in 83.
Starting point is 00:12:53 I was working with Frank Lucas. I was a runner. I was a runner. Yeah, that's how I started talking back then. So my mouth had to be slick when I ran numbers. Nah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I ran numbers. Nah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I ran numbers.
Starting point is 00:13:09 I wasn't doing the other stuff. Y'all were running numbers. The real numbers. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right, right. He run the number three. A one, a zero, a nine, a five, a six. He didn't run no numbers. He didn't run no three, five, four, though. Right, huh? Right. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:13:25 Boy, it's love, man. It's a pleasure, man. It's a pleasure. I ain't had a chance to meet you yet, but you finna get this work, boy. You finna get this work. It's the only thing that work. I can't wait to see you.
Starting point is 00:13:36 And I'm going to wear a suit, too. Yeah. Yeah. I'm locked in. Yeah, I know. I'm locked in. Yeah, I know. I'm locked in. I'm wearing a suit too.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Somebody's going to be somebody's funeral. Yo, you got to show that one, Ojo. You got to show that one. So, yeah. Hey, we're going to be in touch with you. We're going to be in touch
Starting point is 00:14:02 with everybody. We're going to get this thing off. But we're coming through and we're going to have a nightcap you. We're going to be in touch with everybody. We're going to get this thing off. But we're coming through, and we're going to have a nightcap on the battle rappers. I appreciate that. Nah, that's dope. That's dope. I appreciate y'all, man.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Definitely, man, for showing love to the culture. I appreciate that, bro. Thanks for stopping by tonight. We appreciate that, bro. Always, always love. Y'all keep doing y'all thing, man. Love sport. Ah.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Y'all know who it is. That's what we do. We come through. We're going to make it happen. We're going right, love. Y'all know who it is. That's what we do. We come through. We gonna make it happen. We gonna swing through. We gonna put it down. We gonna get them guys together, and we gonna let them go at it right here on Nightcap.
Starting point is 00:14:33 So I'm excited. I'm sure they're gonna be excited. Oh, yeah. Because we gonna give them a lot more attention. We gonna give them what they deserve. We gonna give them their night, their moment. Yeah, and one thing about it, you know what? Like that kind of energy.
Starting point is 00:14:49 I'm sorry if we get a little rowdy. I apologize. No, we good. But that's the space I like to be in. I like that. That competitive energy, you know, that penmanship, that artistic form, you know, speaking expression, just going. Oh, well, you ain't never seen. All right.
Starting point is 00:15:04 And I know they watching. Y'all better be practicing. Y'all better get your pen right. Get your pen together. Get your pen together because I'm going to embarrass you. I'm like that, huh? I'm like that. My word play is phenomenal, baby. Okay, we're going to find out.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Yeah, I know we're going to find out. Here's one thing about it. There's nobody on planet Earth right now that can out-talk me. Now, all it comes to, if it's somebody in my face, it's about putting it into artistic form. And that's something I do very well. All right, we will see. Starting point is 00:16:28 immediately be smarter and funnier than your friends. And who doesn't want that? Listen now on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's time for our last segment of the day and it's called Q and A. Q and A. Oh, with the people? It's time for our last segment of the day and it's called Q&A
Starting point is 00:16:45 Q&A Oh, with the people? Okay, Ocho My first question is Haley Thompson said Nightcap, I took your advice last night and I broke up with him After six years together
Starting point is 00:17:02 all he wanted was money How do I get over the hurt and heartbreak? Thank you for your advice and opening my eyes. Go ahead, Ocho. Haley, Haley, Haley, there's no reason to be hurt. How are you hurt? And that's one less expense. Help me understand that. That's one less expense for you. So think about the money you're saving. The hurt should be gone. They they have toys they got a rose and they got a dildo so you good that's for free there's no headache that comes with that so how you hurt forget the individual that was using you come on now get it together baby tighten up
Starting point is 00:17:38 here here the thing is oh joe look i it is when you when you've been with someone even when you don't even when you think they're not right for you it still hurts because a part of you is attached to that person you've grown attached to that person and i kind of explain it like this yeah and you know my grandfather would say, he said, boy, people don't need you, but they'll damn sure use you. See, you got to be careful. See, I don't mind being used. I just don't want to be misused. You see,
Starting point is 00:18:14 you see, and what Haley, you had to, what, you had to open your eyes because it was standing right there because sometimes you're so close to an object you can't see it. If you step back, take a step or two back, your vision will become crystallized.
Starting point is 00:18:33 You see, the thing is, Ocho, if I'm in a relationship, we both got to be getting something out of that. I just need to know, Haley, what were you getting out of that relationship? You said he didn't want to be intimate with you. He always came up with an excuse. But he never came up with an excuse when you said you...
Starting point is 00:18:51 What was the excuse? He never didn't have an excuse when he didn't need money. Come on, preacher. So, look. I understand because when you become six years or something, I don't give a damn what it is, you become attached to it. You do something, anything for six years, you become attached. Listen to me. Let's think reasonably.
Starting point is 00:19:16 Let's think logically. Let's use common sense. Let's erase and knock emotion out of it. How about we tell Haley, Haley, baby, listen to me, honey. Think about six years, right? Yes. Think about all the money you wasted.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Think about all that. Think about the bad things, not the good things, because what good has come from it? What good has come from it? Right. When the end goal and everything that's happened
Starting point is 00:19:42 is just him using you. Right. To me, even if it was six years, but goddamn, I look back and I've just wasted six years. That's time. That's time that you can't get back. For somebody that you're providing for financially
Starting point is 00:19:55 that tells you when you want to be intimate, oh, I don't feel like it. Oh, I don't want to. That in itself is enough to say, fuck them six years. I get to save my money and that's one less expense. That's one less bill in this economy. You think I'm going to be sad?
Starting point is 00:20:16 Shit. Yeah, but I think it's easy for you to say that because you remove from the situation when you care for someone. And she clearly cared for this guy or she wouldn't have been there as long as she was there. But when you care for someone, it's not that easy to just detach yourself. You know you've been in a situation though, Cho.
Starting point is 00:20:35 It ain't that easy. Who? You. Who? I ain't never. I ain't never. Even when I knew I ain't never I ain't never Even when I knew I knew in my heart of hearts
Starting point is 00:20:50 It was time I feel a part of me did not want to let go Right, right There was a time And I can tell you Because we family We family There was a time
Starting point is 00:21:02 With Rail and I And you know things things were a little rocky. This was by year two. And I was in my minivan and we got into an argument and she was leaving. Wait, let me take my glass off so you understand I'm not playing. She was leaving. I kid you not, right-handed God on my mama, rest in peace. Now you know I'm not playing. So I went to Starbucks real quick. It was early in the morning. I went to Starbucks. And I asked her, I said, Bray, you want something from Starbucks? I'm getting ready to shoot there real quick. We got into a disagreement the night before we went to bed. And I think she must've been fed up. We went to bed angry.
Starting point is 00:21:44 The night before we went to bed and I think she must have been fed up. We went to bed angry And as I was I went to Starbucks, I'm pulling back up and I see at the corner of my eye I'm like, I'm I pull up like I look like She walked into a car And she got a little bag with I'm like, what damn you ain't even text me and say you was finna clear it Man, I'm she didn't call the uber was even text me and say you was from the clear. Man, I'm shooting the car, the Uber was from the shoot, ain't clear, then go back home. Man, I put the car in reverse, man, whooped out and pulled right in front of the Uber. I said, man, what we doing? What we doing?
Starting point is 00:22:14 Where you going? I'm headed to the airport. That feeling that Haley talking about right now? Mm-hmm. Ooh, bitch. Mm-hmm., bitch Mm-hmm But shit was rough Cause that's that
Starting point is 00:22:27 That's that back against the wall Like, but damn Oh, I'm I'm tired I'm sick of this shit Wait, what you sick of? We didn't get a chance at all Well, shit's been cleared
Starting point is 00:22:37 So, again I'ma start I'ma start playing tough I'ma start playing tough I know I know how she feeling I know how she feeling So, I had to reel it back in I had to reel it back in and i had to make some adjustments you know and
Starting point is 00:22:49 get right in life yeah because i almost got left and i'm sick of getting left i'm tired of that because i've been left i'm 56 years old i've been left for 42 other than 56. uh other than 56? Shit. Haley, pray. God got you. Yeah. You made the right decision.
Starting point is 00:23:14 J-Ass, Funkin' Ocho, when you pee in the shower, do you get a new towel every time? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What we doing? Yeah, who pee in the shower? You pee before you get out of the shower, man. What are you talking about? You pee who peed in the shower? You pee before you get out of the shower, man. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:23:28 You pee before you get in the shower. That's what I said, right? Yeah. No, you say you pee after you get in. But okay, I get what you're saying. Yeah. My bad. My bad.
Starting point is 00:23:38 And if he said the pool, now that's a different story. I ain't peeing in the pool, man. Y'all nasty. That's why I stopped going to the pool. Nasty. Stay with me now. Congrats on the award uh nah man i don't i don't i don't pee in the shower man hey you got it no it's i mean i man so that's why see i go over some of y'all house i'm gonna wear shower shoes who some of them jokers houses in the chat. Oh, talking about peeing
Starting point is 00:24:06 in the shower? Yeah, I'm wearing shower shoes. That's something, listen, I think women are more inclined to do it as opposed to men, but when you gotta go, you gotta go. And most of the time, you aim at the drain. You aim at the drain, I think it does no harm or no foul because you are taking a shower.
Starting point is 00:24:22 So, I don't know. It's something that I don't do frequently and I haven't done in a while. And I said pee in the pool. I'm speaking of, obviously when I was a kid, Charles Hadley Park, you know, you're young, eight, nine years old. You ain't getting out of no goddamn pool to go pee. You just
Starting point is 00:24:37 do it in there. Some of y'all, that's about... I used to put boots on to come in y'all house. Nicole Scott said, Uncle Nocho, have y'all ever been attracted to a female bodybuilder? Bodybuilders? I mean, it depends on the man's preference. Because some look decent. Obviously, you have to be in that world of competing to understand what it is and the goals that you're trying to reach and attain.
Starting point is 00:25:04 The NPC, they came out with a new division. They call it wellness. The women are not... They're still kind of somewhat... But they're not like figure and they're not like female bodybuilders. But the wellness is kind of...
Starting point is 00:25:20 They got the rounded glutes, the diamond shaped calves. I mean, they got the aesthetics glutes uh the diamond shade calves i mean they got the aesthetics the the caps on the delts uh more of that but i did i know that i know female i was in that scene for a minute i used to go to all the shows the arnold the olympia the mpc the chicago pro show i was all over yeah i don't i don't i don't have i don't have a problem with it i don't have a problem with it. I don't have a problem with it because I can see them.
Starting point is 00:25:47 I can see the aesthetics. I can understand what it is they're trying to do. And I know those that do bodybuild are some of the most disciplined people in the world. Because you're very, very disciplined. So I respect what they do. Very, very good friend of mine, a friend of the show actually that watches,
Starting point is 00:26:03 Phil Heath. Phil, I know you're probably watching. I know you're watching. I love you, baby. Other than that, man, I mean, it's nothing wrong with it. It's just, it's all on preference based on what men like. I think women that bodybuild, most of the time, they date guys that do the exact same
Starting point is 00:26:18 thing that they do. So I think they've never had a problem actually getting men. To some, the casual person, it'd be like, ugh, what is that? But it's what they do for a problem actually getting men and so to some the casual person it'd be like oh what is that but it's what they do for a living it's what they do like Ocho is kind of like movie stars more times than not movie star marry other movie stars because the other know what it's like to live that life to be that dedicated to the craft to jump in and out of character so normally you get somebody that understands your life.
Starting point is 00:26:46 Well, in that community, you probably need somebody that understands your life. There's going to be a lot of mood swings on both sides if she does it and he does it. Because there's going to be a lot of denying yourself. There's going to be a lot of
Starting point is 00:27:02 carb depletion. There's going to be a lot of water deplet depletion there's gonna be a lot of water depletion and you're gonna be irritable so you need somebody to understand what that life is like right because if they don't they're gonna like man later for you f this i'm gonna buy the hill but uh you know you got the wellness and you got the bikini you got the figure you know you got the bikini, you got the figure, you know, you got the, you know, so it just, it's just to each his own. But I love, I love looking at a female body, an N-shaped female body. There's nothing like it. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:33 And I'm not saying, you know, I'm not saying they have to be in competition. I'm talking about just a nice, you know, a woman that like works out and take care of herself. Yeah, keeps herself up. Yeah, man. Ain't nothing wrong with that. I don't think people understand the discipline it takes to get up four or five times a week
Starting point is 00:27:51 and actually have the structure to go and train even on the days you don't feel like doing it. You know, sometimes you have them days you just don't feel like
Starting point is 00:28:01 going to practice. You don't feel like practicing but you just have no choice but to get in there and do it because you set yourself a goal and you want to reach that end goal and you want to look a certain way by a certain amount of time.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Yeah. In a certain amount of time. Yeah, for sure. That's how I was when I played. I mean, there was no off days for me. No matter how bad I felt, no matter what was going on, raining,
Starting point is 00:28:21 I would give them the treadmill. I got one of those woodway treadmills that would have an incline of 20 degrees. It would go 18 miles an hour. So I would get on that. But there was no off days for me. Now, man, it's raining hot. It ain't raining in the gym,
Starting point is 00:28:42 but it's good rain. When's the last time you've been in the gym? I went Sunday. Sunday before I came to Austin. But, you know, you got to be consecutive. You know, you missed three days in the gym. It should change up on you real quick. It should get heavy now.
Starting point is 00:28:55 Well, the thing is with me is I got to get back to cardio. But I got my trainer. I'm bringing him out. Wait, wait. Cardio? Yeah. I thought you said you came wrong. You could only walk briskly. No, I got a roll machine and I got an assault bike.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Okay. I got other ways to get the cardio in. So I'm bringing him out. He's going to be with me for a couple of days. Take him to the gym. Let him see the kind of equipment that I have. Build a program to what equipment that I have. Take a look at my home gym. He's going to meet my chef.
Starting point is 00:29:25 He's going to meet Kat. See what she's prepared. He needs more of this. He needs less of that. He needs this added. So I'm about to do a whole, I'm about to do a whole complete makeover. So by the time I hit 56,
Starting point is 00:29:37 y'all saw what I'm like. Go back and look at my picture when I was 54. I'm about to be that again at 56. Okay, okay, okay. I think I should get back into body again at 56. Okay, okay, okay. But they don't love old shit. I think I should get back into bodybuilding too, because at one point I had
Starting point is 00:29:50 almost... I thought about it. You know what's funny? I'm not sure if y'all can find this, but whoever does our edits is phenomenal. I'll probably send it to you. There was a point where I was about 205, almost 210. You remember those pictures, huh?
Starting point is 00:30:06 I saw you shoulder to me that time. Man, I was so got dog. And one of the problems I had, I was working out with a trainer of mine, Jared. I don't know if you're watching, named Jared Jenkins. He competes as well. And he had me on, there was no McDonald's. He had me eating salmon, rice, sweet plant, had me eating vegetables. It took me four months.
Starting point is 00:30:30 It took me four months to look like something I never looked like before. I looked like a goddamn safety linebacker. And I would love to get back to that because I feel my clothes in a little better. My neck was big and my face you know, my face was filled in and I just felt better about myself. Now, I look like goddamn olive oil. You got a little skeletal frame. Yeah, yeah, I do right now.
Starting point is 00:30:54 But listen, it don't take me number three months. Three months. Oh, yeah. That's what I ate. That's what I ate. By my side, I'm looking right. Mm-hmm. You're going to be wrong.
Starting point is 00:31:04 You know what? Let me know when you start and you serious until about every day. When youhmm. You're going to be rocked up. You know what? Let me know when you start and you serious until about every day. When you start, I'm going to start too. All right. Done. Say no more. DJ Realist, do an episode, y'all.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Do an episode where y'all howl at edibles and drink instead of cognac, smoking chad cigars. Get messy one time. Nah, that ain't what we do. You said get messy? Yeah, we don't get messy.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Because I think, Ocho, for me personally, I think we can deliver great content without getting messy. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Most definitely, most definitely, most definitely. Now, what we can do is we can talk about the mess without being messy. We can do that. Which is what we do anyway. Obviously, stuff
Starting point is 00:31:44 happens going on in the world, and we like to give our two cents and what that is. Yeah, but we don't get involved in that. Being messy in general, nah, never that, never that. Lady Ray said, what's a perfect day off look like
Starting point is 00:32:00 for the two of you, if you ever get one? Day off? Shit, I'm going to be tired then i'm i could start i could start obviously sunday monday and thursdays i wake up happy as hell because i know i got motherfucking nightcap but in the morning my day started 5 a.m i'm up at 5 a.m every morning regardless no alarm clock six o'clock i'm hitting mcdonald's six o'clock i'm hitting mcdonald's same thing every morning. Hotcakes with sausage,
Starting point is 00:32:25 sausage-able muffin, large orange juice. After I finish that, which I normally do right there in the driveway, excuse me, I hit Starbucks. I go to Starbucks. Somebody got on me earlier today
Starting point is 00:32:36 about going to Starbucks on Twitter. That's another story. But tall caramel macchiato hot. That, I pair with my cigar. Boom, first cigar in the morning. After that, I go back home. And that's my whole goddamn day. Now, this is during the off season.
Starting point is 00:32:51 This is what I'm doing right now because I had nothing going on. Now, the days are different during football season because I'm working and I'm traveling. I'm going all over the place. Man. Man, I'm shooting somewhere between seven and ten shows a week. Shit. So, and then I'm working on it. I got to take meetings for advertisers, take meetings for sponsors,
Starting point is 00:33:13 or I'm traveling for Chez Balaportier. I'm having meetings with my agency. It's just hard for me to get up. I mean, like, what I don't have to, like, I'm always going to have to do something because Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, I get, I normally, like, I don't really have it, but I'm normally shooting Club Shea Shea
Starting point is 00:33:37 on Thursday and Friday. Sometimes I'll do as many as three shows in a week. I'll do a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. And then the only day I'll get off is a Saturday. And then I'll just, you know, but days that I'm off and I don't have to do first date, I'll just get up probably six o'clock, take the dog for a walk, walk him around the block, come back, eat, sit around, get the dogs up, them out let them be then I'll
Starting point is 00:34:07 feed them around nine I'll go upstairs shower go to the gym you got the dogs on a schedule when they eat
Starting point is 00:34:16 oh yeah wait a minute so you don't just put the food in the bowl and just leave man what the hell what the hell you got going on over there, man?
Starting point is 00:34:26 Everything is scheduled in my life. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Why the dog got to suffer because you want to have structure in other areas of your life? Just put all the food in the bowl and let him eat at will. No, no.
Starting point is 00:34:39 I don't let him because I need him on schedule. They go out at a certain time. They know when I get up in the morning, first thing they do, they go outside to handle their business. They go out at a certain time. They know when I get up in the morning, first thing they do, they go outside to handle their business. They understand that. They got to go to the bathroom.
Starting point is 00:34:51 They go to the back door. I let them out. They go do their business before they go to bed at night. Now, the baby is 14, so he can't hold it like he once could. So I'll take him out probably twice. I'll take him out at 8, and then I'll take him out again at about 10. He's good for the rest of the night. Damn.
Starting point is 00:35:12 No, I love schedule. I love structure. I don't function well without structure, Coach. No, but these dogs, you know, dogs, they like to be free, free will, free ability to roam. I let them outside, you take off. I take them out, let them free ability to roam and take off right not take them out let them in the backyard
Starting point is 00:35:27 just take off but I would talk about the food you know sometimes like if you have them on if you have them on a certain structure
Starting point is 00:35:34 or plan but what happens if they hungry what if they want to eat you know sometimes you feed your kid and they come back two minutes later could you eat
Starting point is 00:35:43 whenever you wanted to you was on the schedule when you was younger your mom made You eat whenever you wanted to. You was on the schedule when you was younger than me. Your mama made you eat whenever you wanted to. Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, we ain't had no... Shit, we ain't had much to eat, so we wasn't on the schedule to have. Exactly. We don't got damn schedule to have.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Yeah, no, but they on the schedule, Ocho. Yeah, I got you. I got you. I like that, though. Oh, Rio. Hey, Ocho, go ahead. Nah, I was going to say, boy, when it come to life, boy, you got that bitch like that, though. Real. No, I was going to say, when it comes to life, well, you got that bitch figured out, boy. You got it figured out. Wake up with football every morning

My question is, what was the time you had to tell a friend or family, no, that hurt you? Oh, shit. They ain't never hurt me, bud oh shit ain't never hurt me but no ain't never hurt me
Starting point is 00:37:26 because people like um hit me with that saying one more time about takers come on come on hit me with the saying because i got it i got it in my notes give us gotta put they gotta put a limit on what they give because takers will never put a limit on what they take listen now before i even knew that saying i had to understand and knowing before I made it, who was here, and after I made it, who was there. Thank you. Now, one thing, even when it came to immediate family, immediate family, I'm willing to help. Willing to help. Anything outrageous or just crazy numbers, you already know not to ask me that because I'm not giving it because I don't even spend like that my damn self.
Starting point is 00:38:01 Even with my mama, even with my grandma. You know? Don't take advantage of the situation. I got you when you need me, but don't take advantage of the situation. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:13 That's what you got to be. I mean, for the most part. I've been very fortunate. Look, I don't come from a large family. I got a brother and a sister. My mom,
Starting point is 00:38:24 obviously, you know, my mom had gotten remarried. And so, you know, anytime my mom went somewhere, he went somewhere. You know, I flew them first class, you know, and they came out so forth and so on. So but now. No, nothing, nothing crazy, but I do, I do my look. But I do. I do. Look, I do help. I do help. A lot of times my sister gave me the sad story and I'm like, look. You have that, but that's the other thing. But yeah, for me, Ocho, like you said, like who was there. Yeah. I remember. Yeah. Uh, but hell,
Starting point is 00:39:08 I mean, nobody really could be there. Cause everybody was just as poor as we were. They're like, they can borrow. What were they going to give that they didn't have? We couldn't give them anything, but it was just like my sister, like my sister would always like whatever she could.
Starting point is 00:39:21 She, her boyfriend would like give me money. He would come to school, drop me off $50. So. You know what's so funny when I think about it? And I think about we talk about family and people that would need. I have a very small group, a very small nucleus of friends that have been around for 20 plus years.
Starting point is 00:39:41 I got friends in Cincinnati. If they ever need anything, Maine, Los, Locke, Rico, Ryan. I might be missing somebody. I have a small nucleus of friends here in Miami. If they ever need anything, Rep, Hound, Bobo,
Starting point is 00:39:58 Bo, Doink, Rashad. That's it. And that's where the buck stops. That's it. And that's, that's what a buck stops. That's what a buck stops. I mean, that's,
Starting point is 00:40:09 that's five and five. I got five in Cincinnati, five here in Miami. Been here since day one, huh? Been since day one. And obviously, obviously my mom,
Starting point is 00:40:17 grandma, they, they passed. They've transitioned on now. My brother, you have anything? He know he good. You know,
Starting point is 00:40:22 he has my other brother, Sam, you have anything? He know he good. And they never, they never other brother, Sam, you ever need anything? He know he good. And they never, they never, they never ask. It's not like that. I've never been surrounded by people that are always taking, taking, taking, taking, taking.
Starting point is 00:40:33 Where I ever been in a situation like, God damn, nigga. No, enough is enough. Oh yeah, yeah. Enough is enough. Small, small group. And the same group that was there before is the same group that was there after,
Starting point is 00:40:46 from the start and the end. Nothing has changed. And anybody that tried to come in, you know, while it was hot? Nah, it's just, come on, man. Nah. If I don't rob what you paid, I told this one somebody, female, if you ever need
Starting point is 00:41:02 anything, don't call me. The answer, no. Wait, but you say you're very gracious, especially when it comes to dealing with women. I am. I am. Okay. But I have told them no. For real? Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Because they'll take advantage of you, huh? Yeah, yeah. It's not that. It's when you do F stuff. What you mean? Look, if I rock with you, we go our separate ways. If I could do anything that's not extraordinary. Extraordinary?
Starting point is 00:41:36 Okay, okay. I got you. Wait, hold on, hold on. If you and a woman go your separate ways, do they still have the nerve and audacity to ask you for things that are extraordinary
Starting point is 00:41:44 even after the fact? For sure, they have. Oh, hell no. Yeah. For sure. You serious? Yeah. How is a woman even comfortable
Starting point is 00:41:55 even asking for something extraordinary that a partner is supposed to do if y'all know y'all going y'all separate ways? Man, I... I mean, I say, hey, you sleep with old boy? Oh, let him do it.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Have him break bread. He breaking your back? You said. Let him break bread. Nah, nah, nah. But that sounds a little too much like prostitution but I understand hey nah nah I'm cool look yeah yeah yeah I know what you mean
Starting point is 00:42:32 if you cool it look things happen people change people evolve you want to go your way I want to go mine but as long as number one thing you got one job, protect the brand.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Yeah. Because with no brand, all this goes away. Yeah. Yeah. I thought about that too when you talked about it last night about how cautious you are in public.
Starting point is 00:43:00 Yeah, for sure. Elevators, hotel rooms. I thought about that a lot. I mean, I think about the brand, your brand is completely different than mine. Obviously you have to protect yours, but mine has always been the outgoing, loving, hey, what's up?
Starting point is 00:43:15 Bring it in, hug, shake, talk, converse, be funny. And you are like the complete opposite, complete opposite. I think that's why this shit works, this shit works so goddamn well. Man, that outro man, they cut the room, they got that table. They're like, yeah, I'll take it. They're like, you sure we can... I'm good.
Starting point is 00:43:34 Uncle, you don't even let him in the room, huh? Oh, no. Hell nah. Now, that fool said, my four-year year old told me Nightcap, nightcap, nightcap Mommy always watching nightcap In the car, at home, at work, at school
Starting point is 00:43:49 Her name is Brooklyn Can you shout out please Hey Brooklyn Tell mommy to keep watching nightcap Appreciate the love Hey Brooklyn how are you Thank you mommy Thank you mommy for listening
Starting point is 00:44:03 For watching We greatly greatly appreciate that Oh, yeah Oh, Terry Thompson said, oh, Wicked Tuna has a new season out, two episodes so far, huge fish being caught I love you, Ocho, have a great show, I turned 59 today, happy birthday, Terry
Starting point is 00:44:22 Happy birthday, Terry The thing is man To go catch them tuna man You gotta go way out there Ocho Well you know how strong You gotta be to pull Them motherfuckers in Yes
Starting point is 00:44:31 You know how many hours It take to pull A goddamn bluefin tuna in Yeah I ain't I ain't got that kind of patience What The thing is now Ocho
Starting point is 00:44:39 They'll back the boat down to you They'll back the boat down to you Yeah Yeah But it's still It's still Listen Unc Boy you put That You catch that tuna in that hook back the boat down to you. They back the boat down to you. Yeah, yeah. But it's still, it's still. Listen,
Starting point is 00:44:46 Unc, you put that, you catch that tuna and that hook and that motherfucker get to running? What you supposed to do? He know he hooked. All of a sudden,
Starting point is 00:44:54 you think about Ocho, you going free, Ocho, you walking and then somebody snatch you by your back. Yeah. You gonna fight like hell to get away.
Starting point is 00:45:01 You sure will. Listen, you know what I would love to do? I'm sitting here talking. I know the terminology, but I don't even fish. I live in Florida, but I know the terminology. If I am to go out there, it got to be something really dope. I got to be going fishing for marlin, goliath groupers.
Starting point is 00:45:21 It got to be something that I can come back to. You got to turn the Goliath grouper the way you can't keep them. You can't? No, hell no. Wait, that's a new rule? You know, I don't know nothing about... I don't know nothing about fish...
Starting point is 00:45:34 That size grouper, you got to let back. Now, can you catch grouper? Yeah, people eat... Yeah, of course, of course. Black, yeah, for sure. But I mean, the tuna, a yellowfin,
Starting point is 00:45:45 obviously they don't get as big as the blue sure. But I mean, the tuna, a yellowfin, obviously they don't get as big as the bluefin. Right. Dolphins. But I mean, you catch snapper. What about the dolphins? Not dolphin dolphin. I'm talking about the dolphin,
Starting point is 00:45:52 the fish that they serve at restaurants. They big. They like green, like green and yellow. You never seen them? Yeah. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:46:02 What was that called? They look like a flat. They look like a... Mm-hmm. It's called a dolphin. I know I'm not saying the name wrong. Probably. You think so? Dolphin. I think it is called a dolphin. I mean, it all depends on what you're trying to catch. Right. Trout.
Starting point is 00:46:19 You don't got to go out to catch no damn trout. I mean, most people go, I mean, when you watch the Bass series, you know, Kevin Van Dam, Mike Iaconelli, E. Smith, guys like that. You know, I grew up watching Bill Dance, Roland Martin, Ernest Hensley, guys like that fishing. And you know about fishing. You know about fishing. Because you're watching a 30-minute show. I'm like, well, damn. Man, all they do is catch fish.
Starting point is 00:46:42 I didn't realize it took them days. Days. To do all that. That's before I knew anything about fish. I didn't realize it took them days to do all that. That's before I knew anything about TV. Because I'm just thinking like, man, they got to be the luckiest mofos in the world because as soon as they throw out there, they catch a fish. I've been sitting here for five hours and they call the man back. Oh, you're talking
Starting point is 00:47:00 about Mahi Mahi. Is that what it is? Mahi Mahi? Mm-hmm. Okay. But it get big, though, now. Yeah, mahi-mahi get huge. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. That's it. That's it. That's it. You like mahi-mahi? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:15 I done ate mahi-mahi before. I ain't crazy about it. I like sea bass. I was in Hawaii one time. I went to Kona. I had a... I was in Hawaii one time. I went to Kona. I had a... I caught a couple swordfish. But...
Starting point is 00:47:31 Whoa, whoa, whoa. You just said that like it's just nothing. You caught a swordfish? A couple of them. And reeled them in? Yeah. We let them go. They're probably like 180 pounds.
Starting point is 00:47:42 They wasn't no 500 pounders. Oh, okay, okay. I'm thinking you're talking about one of them big boys, man. No, no. We didn't go out far enough to catch one of those. But the thing is, you got to worry about the dolphins and the porpoises. Like, eating, because, you know, they smart. They steal everything off you.
Starting point is 00:47:58 Yeah, man. Yeah. Yeah. Bro, y'all take y'all bad ass home. Ocho said, Ocho, love you, dog But can you wrap sandwiches at Checkers? Much less a battle rap Good luck, though
Starting point is 00:48:11 Loaded Locke Was cooking you like stir fry Bro Man, listen See what This is what happened I know Loaded Locke sounded good I know you probably like what he had to say
Starting point is 00:48:23 But this is what he did wrong You already showed your hand You never show your hand That's how I know he don't sounded good I know you probably like what he had to say But this is what he did wrong You already showed your hand You never showed your hand That's how I know he don't know how to play poker He ain't got the poker face You don't know how to play poker either Who don't? I know I don't But just stay with me, man
Starting point is 00:48:35 I'm trying to state my case, man But listen My penmanship is phenomenal And when the time comes And we do this battle Lux and I'm sure there are going to be Five other battle rappers That I respect and love I'm sure there are going to be five other battle rappers that I respect and love dearly,
Starting point is 00:48:47 but we're going to get this culture back where it belongs, and that's at the motherfucking top. Almost done with my first deployment. Can you shout out
Starting point is 00:48:55 my wife and tell her I'll be home soon? Love. The show, always been watching. AJ, Mom, AJ is about to come up. Excuse me.
Starting point is 00:49:03 That's his wife. I think that's what he said. Yeah, it's his wife. So we're going to call you Mom. Mom, AJ, hey. He wanted about to come up. Excuse me. That's his wife. I think that's what he said. Yeah, it's his wife. So we're going to call you Mom. Mom, AJ, hey, he wanted us to shout you out. He said he'll be home soon. And make sure you have him somewhere, you know. Have him right.
Starting point is 00:49:15 Have him right. Look at him. That good cooking. Good cooking. You have to have that French grease ready for him. I ain't talking about no Crisco either. You know what I'm talking about. Harry Double Zero said,
Starting point is 00:49:30 do you think Chris Jones is a Hall of Famer? How many Pro Bowls CJ got? Shoot, I'm not sure. Wait, was it Kansas City Chris Jones? Yeah. Hell yeah, he's a Hall of Famer. And if he's not, he will be. Yeah, for sure. I think he's got about five or six Pro Bowls. And if he's not, he will be. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:49:45 I think he's got about five or six Pro Bowls. I think he's a three-time first-team All-Pro. Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I think he's going to be because, you know, he's the preeminent face of that defense that's won three Super Bowls. he's the preeminent face of that defense that's won three Super Bowls.
Starting point is 00:50:04 So he's a five-time pro bowler, a two-time first-team All-Pro. Real deal. And you got to think, you got to think he's going to continue to make All-Pros. He's going to continue to make Pro Bowls. Yeah, I think he gets too... Look,
Starting point is 00:50:25 the thing what he wants to do, I think CJ wants to be that. He wants to be that Warren Sapp. He wants to be that Joe Green. Those guys at the first ballot that come up there and you, hey, ain't no question. Case closed, yeah. Aaron Donald.
Starting point is 00:50:42 Yeah. He's in that tier with Aaron Donald as well. Obviously, he's always been regarded as the second best D tackle in the game. And you got Jeffrey Simmons right behind him as the third best. Yeah. So, I believe when it's all said and done, he's going to be a Hall of Famer. Patrick Rendon said, now that Joe Mixon is a free agent, should the Cowboys go after him?
Starting point is 00:51:05 I mean, there's a stable of backs out there. It all depends on what the Cowboys want. What type of back are you looking for? Obviously, with Pollard going to Tennessee? Yes. Yeah, with Pollard going to Tennessee, it depends
Starting point is 00:51:21 on what you want. Joe would be a great fit. Joe would be a great fit there. Kemper Norwood Jr. said, which team retires LeBron Jersey's first? Cleveland. That's easy. That's easy. Cleveland, most definitely.
Starting point is 00:51:37 I think right behind that, when he's done playing, I think the Heat follow suit as well. I don't know. Him and Pat Riley, ain't big. You don't think so? Yeah, we'll see.
Starting point is 00:51:54 Even if there's something personal going on with him, just based on what he was able to do for that organization and what he's done for the NBA in general over the years, especially when he was a Heat player, I think they do retire it as a Heat player as well. Juan Garcia said, Uncle, LSA, Stephen A. Smith,
Starting point is 00:52:13 we done with the 90s. We seen tape. Jordan A. left them, boy. A. playing no D. Goat debate is between Kobe, Braun. Kobe and Braun. LJ is greater than MJ. I can't even sit here and augur the fact about that.
Starting point is 00:52:32 I can't even augur. I mean, look. Aesthetically, pleasing to the eye just to watch. MJ, different skill set. Yeah. Different skill set. It's hard. MJ, different skill set. Yeah. Different skill set. What's so hard about it is that once you've seen it,
Starting point is 00:52:53 you compare everything to it. To it, yeah. And so that's the hard stuff because MJ was doing things we had never seen before. Right. Now it's routine that we see guys do up and under, come one side, and we see what Dr. J was doing. We see guys, you know, shooting the ball from three.
Starting point is 00:53:13 I mean, now we see a lot of guys shoot the ball from three like Steph Curry. But we ain't never seen nobody do it before him, so now everybody go get prepared and step. And nobody's as efficient as Steph. Not the volume. The volume in which he's shooting. He's going to have to sit it out there because
Starting point is 00:53:31 everybody is coming in shooting the three ball now. You got guys like Buddy Hill that's ahead of Steph Pace at the same time in their career. Is he going to keep it going? Is he going to play as long as Steph? He's not getting the minutes that Steph, so that's going
Starting point is 00:53:47 to cut into the possibility of somebody breaking Steph's record. I can see a scenario where Steph have 4,500, maybe even 5,000 threes. Hmm. Yeah. Double O Tucko, me and my son, Aiden's birthday is the 19th.
Starting point is 00:54:03 My 26th, he is this... Hold on. Oh, he's 19th. He's the 19iden's birthday is the 19th. My 26th, here's this, hold on. Oh, he's 19th. He's the 19th. Mine is the 26th. His second,
Starting point is 00:54:11 too early for, oh, oh, is it too early for the script? Yeah. Hell yeah, man. Don't let him see that.
Starting point is 00:54:17 Don't let him see that. Don't let him see that. Wait, how old? I think he said, uh, me and my son, Aiden's birthday is the 19th. Here's the 26th.
Starting point is 00:54:34 Aiden is the second. His second birthday. Oh, here's my... You got to stop this abbreviating, boy. You're terrible with this tonight. Me and my son, Aiden's birthday is the 19th of March. Mine is the 26th. Oh, Ash said, don't talk about me.
Starting point is 00:54:56 I just copy and paste. Too early for the strip club. A birthday shout out would mean a lot, Ocho. I got you number two tomorrow, Scooter. Happy birthday, boy. Happy birthday. Have a day. Have a day.
