Starting point is 00:06:10 On April 18th, sinners are coming. From Oscar-nominated filmmaker Ryan Coogler, director of Black Panther and Creed, starring Michael B. Jordan, return to their hometown for a fresh start, only to discover that an unspeakable evil is waiting to welcome them back. Don't miss the genre-bending thrill ride shot
Starting point is 00:06:35 with IMAX film cameras. Sinners arrive only in theaters on April 18th, rated R, under 17, not admitted without parent. Luca says the Lakers have the team to make a title run. Ojo, do you believe it? Absolutely, absolutely. He's supposed to say that huh? Listen, if it was, you say a Luka right? Let me make sure I get my bearings right. Yeah, Luka said that. Listen, if Luka said it for a reason, he already did it with Dallas. He already did it with Dallas and then he has the greatest player of all time, you know, playing alongside of him. If you
Starting point is 00:07:22 get everybody else to contribute and the bench shows up when they need to show up, there's a possibility it can be done. Now, I think one of the issues that we're gonna run into, like I'm talking about we. Listen, I'm a Heat fan. I'm just saying we for continuity based on talking about the Lakers and what Luka had to say.
Starting point is 00:07:39 If the bench shows up, I think the only issue we will have is the fact that they don't have a big, huh? And depending on who they play. Styles and matchups are very important in the seven game series. Very important. They don't have a big, Minnesota doesn't have a big that you can like, Rudy Gobert is not gonna hurt you because we don't have to run plays. Now you're gonna have to keep him off the glass. Yeah. Because he can rebound and give you a second chance opportunity. It is. That might be a problem because we don't have to run plays. Now you're gonna have to keep him off the glass. Yeah. Cause he can rebound and give you second chance opportunities. It is.
Starting point is 00:08:06 That might be a problem. Cause we don't have nobody, who do we? Why do I keep saying we? God damn it. Who do we have that can do that though? Jackson Hayes you'll be able to keep him. To prevent them from having second chance, second shot chances.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Jackson Hayes. That's my dude. Hey, you know that's coach Hayes son, huh? Who are coach Hayes? My tight end coach for the Bengals. Oh, is it? Yes. You know that? Jonathan Hayes.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Yes. That's his son. I didn't know that. Yeah. I played in the league. I was with, he was, if I'm not mistaken, I think he was at Kansas City when I was in the league. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Yeah. Yeah. I didn't know that. Matter of fact, I got the picture picture where I got a picture with uh What what look with uh, La Hayes, right? He was back. He was yay high. I'm talking about short Mm-hmm. I didn't know that Ocho. Yeah. Yeah Yeah Matter of fact, I only knew because the same night when um Was it the Lakers played Philly when um, yeah when uh, god damn Pat Beverly was there
Starting point is 00:09:05 Pat there was coming over to talk to me and in Jackson Hayes came up first and it pissed Pat off So Pat walked off and I look I'm like, wait a minute Why would you you and I know you was an NBA? He's like, yeah, I asked him how pop is doing good I was like man, that's crazy. He's still he's still in Cincinnati. He's not coaching Cincinnati. No, no, man, that's crazy. Is he still at Cincinnati? He not coaching Cincinnati. No, no, no, he not in Cincinnati. No, Zach Taylor, that means a completely different staff. Completely different. Top to bottom.
Starting point is 00:09:34 Yeah. But I think it's gonna be a break. I think it's, look, Luca, LeBron, and A.R., that should be plenty of offense. Guys just gotta play their role. You need a Fannie Smith, you need Vando when they come in, they need to do a job. Hey, Ant-Man gonna get his point,
Starting point is 00:09:55 but you just gotta make it difficult. You gotta make him exert himself as much as you possibly can. On the defensive end. On the defensive end. So that's gonna be on Luca, that's gonna be on AR. You gotta make him work, you gotta make him exhaust himself on one end of the court.
Starting point is 00:10:10 You can't let him rest. He not gonna play LeBron, LeBron's too big. So somebody gotta guard Luka. And so if I'm looking at the, pull back up, oh let me see here. Pull this up. Oh, let me see here. Pulling something right quick. Suga, they possibly put on Luca. Oh, Monscore.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Trying to figure who they gonna put on Luca. Nah, not that. or trying to figure who they gonna put on Luca. Nah, not that. They don't want that game. Oh, here it is right here. So what they can put on Luca, uh, Jane, Jane McDaniels. Well, he can only guard one. Right. Julius Randall will probably take LeBron. Jade McDaniels is going to have to guard, uh, Luca or he's going to have to guard AR. And that means what's it
Starting point is 00:11:23 called? Ant-Man going to have to guard AR. And that means, what's it called? Ant-Man gonna have to guard the other one. I'm excited, man. I'm excited. Listen, just sitting here talking about it, man, with you back and forth, man, you got to wanna actually be there in person, man. Cause I think the chat would enjoy that. The chat would enjoy it, just you and I at the game.
Starting point is 00:11:41 God, just, I, ah, man, I'm excited. I got chills talking about it, man. Ah, I at the game. God, just, no, I, oh man, I'm excited. I got chills talking about it, man. Ah, I can't wait. Oh, it's gonna be a great one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's gonna be a great series. I'm hoping for a great series.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Hopefully everybody stays healthy and you get the job done. But I don't think you can really, I think this is a great matchup. You got LeBron, Luca, and you got Ant-Man. Yes, sir. You can't ask for anything more than that. Then you got a young star, you got LeBron, we know what he is in the playoffs,
Starting point is 00:12:15 all the records for the most part. 10 NBA finals, four championships, four MVPs, first in point scores, second in assists, you know, up there, rebounds, up there in block shots and all that. So this is a great matchup. I can't wait to see it. Probably not gonna get kicked off before Sunday of next week.
Starting point is 00:12:38 I can say maybe Saturday, maybe Saturday, but I'm thinking Sunday. Huh? Actually, I don't know, we haven't seen it yet. Maybe Saturday, but I'm thinking Sunday Huh As I don't know we ever we haven't seen it yet. So Oh Joe Matt Eberfluss handling of the infamous Hail Mary's loss annoyed Blake or Bears players Caleb William reveal how Eberfluss handled it all at the time for that game was I think one of the things that throughout the locker room people talked about and were annoyed by. I know it.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Evil Flues had him, hold on. What about the DB that was joshing around with the fans? The fans. What about the accountability of the players? If he was where he was supposed to be, that's what annoys me about these millennial DGNZ, is that they want to absolve themselves of responsibility. Yes, sir. Accountability.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Yes, sir. Now, we see the guy. He's over there doing this. The play is going on. He's making fun of the people and the fans who have no impact on the game. Game at all, right. And then the quarterback blames the head coach? Listen, hey, you know how it is in situations like that? We go over all that on Fridays, don't we?
Starting point is 00:14:01 Yes! We go over every scenario possible on Friday just in case it happens. So let me ask you this. Do what you do in practice. And the one thing that we didn't do is that when we run those flows and we practice, the guys on the defensive side, they're not messing with the people in the first-sand. Absolutely not. So, Caleb Weave, you don't mind me asking, so what responsibility, what was that? Was his last name Stevenson? Who's that DV number 29? So I just want to know, I just want to hear him say what Tyreek Stevenson, Caleb Williams, as a guy, two guys that played in the NFL, what responsibility, what role did Tyreek Stevenson
Starting point is 00:14:43 play in that? I know you said there was things Curie throughout the locker room that even fools when you lost that game I just want to hear you say what role you believe played right in that Now Was it said recently by Caleb Williams? We not miss kill we not miss quoting anything. He said right? This is... How Eber Fluss handled it at the time with that game, I think was one of the things that throughout the locker room people talked about
Starting point is 00:15:13 and were annoyed by. Okay, okay. I mean, and listen, I'm not sure how that's on the coach at all, because I'm sure when it's done in Friday's practice, whether it be walkthrough or whether it be full speed, I'm sure you're not messing around with the fans in the stands.
Starting point is 00:15:33 That's it, Ocho, if he's where he's supposed to be. It might, the outcome might be different. The outcome might be different. Now there have been times where people have done the right way and it just so happened, they got lucky and they caught it You can live with that But I can't live with this no Absolutely, not and that's what I'm saying and see what I tell people hard work doesn't guarantee you anything
Starting point is 00:15:56 But I believe it with I believe without it. You don't have a chance I'm on the whole show if I go about something and I work as hard as I possibly can and it doesn't happen Yeah, it didn't happen. But when people have regret if I didn't stay out so late If I didn't drink and I'm taking it more serious, I'm on that You can have lifetime you can have a lifetime of discipline you could have a lifetime of regret Jews wisely Hold on we'll put my pen and pad at now? God damn it. Don't do that. What am I pinning pad at? Don't do that.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Baby! I can't, I can't. Wait, say, give me, give me, come on, listen, give me that one more time. You can have a lifetime of what? Discipline or a lifetime of regret. For you to blame the coach when this guy, when you see the guy joshing around, the play is going on and then he's running as hard as he possibly can to try and then he's late. He's the one that tipped the ball and let Brown catch it, no Brown catch it.
Starting point is 00:17:01 Yeah. He's supposed to knock the ball down. Whatever you do. Rule number one, knock the ball down. Damn. Damn. Yeah, I just, that's what I don't get. I just, look, it's over with, just move on. He came out better saying, hey, look guys that was that was last year
Starting point is 00:17:27 Hopefully we're better in those situations this year. We got a new coaching staff guys are excited I get a that's my rookie year has some ups has some dow there's some things I can do better We will get better. We've improved in a lot of areas. We revamped offensive line guys understand me I understand them. Hey, I'm very excited about this season. But to talk about that play, without mentioning a player that should have been in position, I don't get down like that.
Starting point is 00:17:55 Yeah, most definitely. Hey, and one thing about them bears, I can tell you this. Now, just to finish on something positive, that goddamn Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson, boy, the magic that they finna have and the chemistry they finna have. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:11 Man, they create- They got Roman Dunez, they got DJ Moore. Yeah. They improved that offensive line by Leaps and Brown, Joe Tooney. They signed a couple of guys. They got three guys in free agency. Listen, the offensive creativity alone itself,
Starting point is 00:18:30 the Bears are going to be must watch. They're going to be must watch. I'm excited. Yeah, I'm excited for them. I'm excited. They don't have a choice. Because Detroit's in that division. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:41 The Packers are in that division. Right. Minnesota's in that division. Yeah. What choice do you have if you don't get better? Guess what? You'll finish it last again like you finished for the last several years. Hold on. Let me use the bathroom real quick. Hold on. Go ahead. What's up everyone? It's Greg Rosenthal and I'm teaming up with the king of spring, Daniel Jeremiah. He requires me to say that. We're gonna be bringing you 40s and free agents,

I'm doing a new podcast from iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's Julie Stewart Banks. I'm doing a new podcast from iHeart Podcasts and the National
Starting point is 00:19:30 Hockey League. And I'm paired up with one of my favorite players, the always quotable Nate Thompson. I wore nine NHL sweaters and I have story after story to share. And believe it or not, I have plenty to say and not just about hockey. Believe me, he does. Energy Line with Nate and JSB is the name of the podcast, and it's going to be, well, it's going to be quite the ride. We're officially line mates, Nate.
Starting point is 00:19:53 We're the Energy Line. We'll have plenty of folks join us, current players, some of my former teammates, Hall of Famers, and wait to see some of the connections that Julie has. She has quite the Rolodex. Okay. We'll lean into Nate's playing experience and tap into our interests away from hockey and try to do what Energy Lines are supposed to do, provide an emotional boost. How do you feel about all that, Nate?
Starting point is 00:20:16 I'm vibing, Julie. I'm ready to roll. Listen to Energy Line with Nate and JSB on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Israel Gutierrez, and I'm hosting a new podcast, Dub Dynasty, the story of how the Golden State Warriors have dominated the NBA for over a decade. The Golden State Warriors once again are NBA champions.
Starting point is 00:20:41 From the building of the core that included Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, to one of the boldest coaching decisions in the building of the core that included Clay Thompson and Draymond Green, to one of the boldest coaching decisions in the history of the sport. I just felt like the biggest thing was to earn the trust of the players and let the players know that we were here to try to help them take the next step, not tear anything down. Today, the Warriors dynasty remains alive, in large part because of a scrawny 6'2
Starting point is 00:21:03 Hooper who everyone seems to love. For what Steph has done for the game, he's certainly on that like Mount Rushmore for guys that have changed it. Come revisit this magical Warriors ride. This is Dubb Dynasty. The Dubb's Dynasty is still very much alive. Listen to Dubb Dynasty on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. My name is Brendan Patrick Hughes, host of Divine Intervention. This is a story about radical nuns in combat boots and wild haired priests trading blows with J. Edgar Hoover in a hell-bent effort to sabotage a war. J. Edgar Hoover was furious somebody violated the FBI,
Starting point is 00:21:50 and he wanted to bring the Catholic left to its knees. The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century, and the God-damnedest love story you've ever heard. I picked up the phone and my thought was, this is the most important phone call I'll ever make in my life.
Starting point is 00:22:12 I couldn't believe it. I mean, Brendan, it was divine intervention. Listen to Divine Intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, champ, we got a very funny guy joining us tonight to talk about all things of sports and whatever else he wants to talk about. I'm in New York Oh, okay. How much you said it is a month? 20 20 what that 20,000? I mean we just it comes with our furniture and stuff. Oh Okay, that's a bad job. That's probably green screen. No, it ain't no green screen. Can I ask you a question? Yeah Hey, get up and walk back to get up there walk back. I don't walk around in my apartment like that Oh, yeah, I thought it's green. I don't know if somebody's breaking my house and you gon' like you feel me? I just How you mean somebody's gonna break in your house if you paying $20,000 a month for a place in New York
Starting point is 00:23:51 They got guards. They got all the door man. I'm sorry, but I got two of them so it's $10,000 a month. So I'm just saying 20. I'll just sum it up. Okay, okay What you mean you got two what a month? No, my mama live next door What's funny hey Can I what a hundred all that you owe me man, what's up? Oh, so What's up? Starting point is 00:24:28 Why you gonna say that? Why you never asked him that? Why you calling him uncle? Why you ignoring me? Where's the hundred dollars you owe me bruh? You don't need it? Marco I don't wanna down listen. I don't have to put no hands on you, but man, let me get that hundred dollars Please I'm gonna do is call Harrison. Yeah, and you just sit there and let him watch. You wouldn't do nothing. You were smiling the whole time. You ain't good. You knew you wasn't.
Starting point is 00:24:54 I'm the promoter. No, but I'm saying you did. You seen he was scared and you just watched it go back and forth. No, O-Tri ain't scared. You seen who was scared? No, you was scared of him. You're a big dude. Scared? I don't care about nobody being big, man. Listen, you'll see... Hold on, stay with me real quick. You'll see when we fight Super Bowl week, we'll see who's scared.
Starting point is 00:25:13 I know, but you ain't be scared to get beat up. Who get beat up? No, you scared to lose? I mean, I wouldn't fight him. Why? What you scared of? I mean, I protect myself. You see where I live, I live in good environments. I work hard for myself. I mean, I work hard too, but you can't just let people because they big. You're not supposed to be scared of them. You gotta stand up for yourself. You ain't cussing nothing, do you? Yeah, but you're staring.
Starting point is 00:25:38 What you gonna say? You staring as hell? Nah, I was just saying, you know, I don't do that cussing shit. It's cool Man, Mark, let me ask you this. Were you funny growing up or did you stumble in the comedy? Were you a class clown or did you prank people? How did you stumble? How did you come into this role that you are now? Well, in school, well, I'm just less kid. So Wait, you what? You what? This lesky. I'm a struggle. You got a weird word like Ocho.
Starting point is 00:26:26 What's funny? Hey, you can spell that. No. My bad, my bad. Okay, so you was dyslexic. My bad. And then what happened? I was just struggling in school and just,
Starting point is 00:26:46 you know, once people pick on you for not being able to read a spell, you gotta find your way to get out of it. So I used to just trot upon in humor. You know, have y'all ever heard of popcorn reading? Uh-uh. Popcorn reading is where you like read and somebody pick you to read.
Starting point is 00:27:03 So like, they used to give me to read. So like they used to give me to read. So like a lot of people used to pick on me and pick me. So did you get a diploma? Did you get a certificate, participation award? So what happened? Yeah, it was what? It was five students in a classroom and a dog, two teachers, Miss Collins.
Starting point is 00:27:22 Well, we on here to speak our truth or what? Yeah, for sure. I know it was- Wait, my bad, my bad. So speak our truth for what? Yeah, for sure. I know it was- My bad, my bad. I'm just saying, what school did you, did y'all graduate? Did y'all all go to like school? How many people was in your classroom? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:35 I mean, I was in a full class, a class of 42. What's a full class? 42, 42 students. But I changed class for every period. How do your teachers focus on you with 42 students? I mean, it's a professor. That's what happened at the university. 42 students. But I changed class for every period. How do your teachers focus on you with 42 students? I mean, it's a professor.
Starting point is 00:27:49 That's what happened at the university. No, but we have four students in our classroom because we can get the teachers' focus on the main people. Did you stay in that same classroom the whole day or did you change classes at any point in time during the day? I stayed in the same classroom. We had two teachers.
Starting point is 00:28:04 So they wrote. Interesting. classes at any point in time during the day. I stayed in the same classroom. We had two teachers. Interesting. Why you say that? Well, I mean, normally, I mean, most, most what do you mean by that? Cause like, normally most students, they change classes, unless, you know, there are some deficiencies. What does that mean? I don't know what that word mean.
Starting point is 00:28:24 That means that, you know, you're deficient in certain things in certain things and they don't want you to get lost between changing classes They just keep they just keep you Let me ask you a question Did the teacher meet you will let the school bus pull up? Did the teacher meet you there and walk you to class and then walk you back to the school bus? Or did they just let you off in your wheelchair? I was the only one that rode my bus. I stayed in Clubberleaf Apartments in Kansas City.
Starting point is 00:28:57 And that's because I lived in a project. So I got selected to go to that school. That's what my mama told me. How many recesses and how many lunches did you have in a project. So I was, I got selected to go to that school. That's what my mama told me. How many recesses and how many lunches did you have in a day? We had one and then we had a dog walk. Dog walk is where you get to walk the dog. Oh, okay. No, at home, not in, not in school.
Starting point is 00:29:22 What was your favorite subject? Lunch, nap time. I mean, I mean, you know, school was this, you know, it was fine. I graduated. You did? Yeah. With a diploma or certificate? It was both.
Starting point is 00:29:58 It was in a plastic. It was a plastic. It was, what's that called? Lemonade, It was lemonade. Oh. Okay. But you know you have to have it laminated. They don't hand it to you laminated. No, they hand it laminated with us and you open it up and they say congratulations, Marco Summers. You have completed high school diploma. Oh, that's dope. Oh, you ain't go to college, huh? I know I ain't go. College ain't for everybody.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Right. You know what that's a fact. Seems like a good one for everybody either. I know y'all only went to college because y'all was good at sports. Everybody on here, let's be real, everybody on here ain't that smart. Well hold on, wait, that's a fact. Listen, sports was my plan B. I am good at reading.
Starting point is 00:30:39 I can read, one thing especially I got, I can read a Harry Potter book in a day. So that's one thing that I am good at. A Harry Potter book? In a day. So that's one thing a lot of people I am good at reading. Okay, okay. Oh, okay. I have a question. How did you go from trolling in Walmart to interviewing rappers and celebrities on couches? Like that's tremendous. For someone that didn't go to college, for someone that didn't graduate from college. Okay, okay, okay. You ain't gotta add all that.
Starting point is 00:31:04 Okay, my bad, my bad. Okay, I'm just, how did you go from? I mean, I believe, because at COVID time, it was like the city was shut down. So I was out and I got, you know, I was interviewing people on the streets, right? You know, and I was like, always paid them for their advice. Like, how did they feel about COVID? So I was the only one working during COVID, like Tom's still doing, you know. So that was one big thing. So, and then, you know, with me being able to talk to like people out on the streets, it was just like opening the door that I was good at communication. So, and then, you know, just getting a chance to talk to a few underground rappers
Starting point is 00:31:44 and then it started going up and up You know see I like that. I like that. I'm in a condo right now in New York $20,000 a month this condo I regard for it. Mm-hmm at what moment at what moment or what celebrity was your breakthrough? Where it was like you know what what I have going on and what I'm doing right now Just might be bigger than just internet funny where it's where it's taken off to the point where you can afford a $20,000 a month condo in New York. Yeah the one I'm in right now right? Yeah. Yeah. All right well talking and getting to sit down with Nicki Minaj that kind of like opened. Oh that took that blew you up. Yeah it was it was scared you know like she was good
Starting point is 00:32:22 part I was just scared you know talking, talking to her. But right. Hold up, Nicki Minaj sat down with you and she won't sit down with me? Shana, you know how you are. It's kind of hard sitting down with you. You know how you are when you sit down. Because you, Shana, you you warm people up and then you just like you, you you hit them with it like indeed like, oh, oh, I already know it. So like one thing that I don't know, but you really good at manipulating
Starting point is 00:32:44 the situation, which you really good at manipulating the situation Which you're great at what you do right because everybody loved before everybody watch your interviews But you're really good at willing somebody here. You can be a detective on the show Yeah, I like 50 Cent is watching this he need to put you on fire as a cop. It will be really good Right that I like that. Hey, listen, bro Yo interviews like your live interviews. That real Gucci that you got on? What's that you wearing? That is Louis Vuitton.
Starting point is 00:33:09 Is it real? Yeah, it's real. What is it supposed to be? I'm saying let me see the tag. I know where you got that from. No, yeah. Louis Vuitton and Bell Harbor. What about you? Nah. yeah. Louis Vuitton and Bell Harbor. What about you? Nah, nah. But you say money though. It ain't even, it's not because you cheap. Listen, I don't think you understand. It's 2025 and I'm in the season of Ocho this year.
Starting point is 00:33:36 I'm spending all year long. Okay. All year long. All your money then? Why you ain't paying my $100? Yeah, that's a good question. Hold on, hold on. Cause I'm gonna tell you, you owe him $5,000. Why you ain't pay all kids money then. Why you ain't pay me my $100? Yeah that's a good question. Why you ain't pay my, hold on hold on hold on. Cause I'm gonna tell you, you owe him $5,000, why you ain't pay him? But you owe me a hundred, let me get my hundred.
Starting point is 00:33:50 Okay well we ain't talking, that's little money. It ain't little money, it's the principal. $100 is $100. You need to go ahead and get your money, so that's what we need to talk about. Okay how about we do this, when you pay me my hundred I'll pay all kids money, how about that? Don't put me in a mess of that fire Yeah, I mean, I really have anything to do with it though So one should not have anything to do with the other listen the fact that I didn't even know he was coming on here
Starting point is 00:34:13 The vet but he owed me money and I ain't seen him since I let him hold that hearted You know what? I've never seen a ball-headed homeless person. Y'all do really good for your community Who homeless no, I'm just saying, no, I said I never say like all baldhead men do really good. We can't. Yeah. Shana, have you ever seen a baldhead dude black, like, going black? Oh, okay. I see what you mean. Okay. That was the con case.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Every baldhead dude, Michael Jordan, everybody that's baldheaded is always like they good. Yeah, Steve Harvey. Okay, yeah, you were, okay, I thought you were trying to make a legit joke. DMX, DMX, you know, like I'm just saying everybody that's bald headed, they ain't got shit to worry about. They just straight out their hair. The Wayans Brothers, yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:53 You're right. Hey, are you married? Uh, no, you know, I want to get married, but I see like, it just seems like there's a lot of papers to read and stuff. I'm not really a reading type of dude. Yeah. But, but, but, hold on, didn't you just have a little one? Yeah, I did, yeah. But V, that was a, you know, you know how that goes, you know. Wait. No, tell me. You had a baby? Yeah, but you know how that goes. You're not a virgin? I'm not, I ain't a virgin. Why they, why they
Starting point is 00:35:21 say that? I'm in shit, cause I don't be speaking on shit, you know? Okay, I mean, they did, they did, I mean... Probably I need to go live so they know I be doing my thing, you know? There you go, there you go, Barker. See, that was uncalled for. That was a low blow, bro. Well, I'm just saying, no, it ain't nothing to do with you. I'm talking to you.
Starting point is 00:35:38 No, you talking about me? I mean, if it's just you, fate, nowhere. Hey, congratulations though. You got a little girl a little boy I'm Both oh you got two nice, you know, I just genders you can't just let I'm gonna let her decide or him Whatever. I'm let them decide Hey, I want to interview Bobby can you make that happen? I definitely can, but don't start no shit. You feel me? What? Why am I gonna start?
Starting point is 00:36:08 I'm just saying you know what you do. Look at your shirt. The Joker. Like you know who you are. You wear your, like, it's all in your face. Hey, who is Bobby? Bobby Autel. Oh. Yes. Ain't you and Bobby dating, huh? No, no. No, don't do that. I'm just saying, I saw the chemistry.
Starting point is 00:36:26 The chemistry you all had together. No, no, no. Yeah, no, we're dating. That's a friend. She's a friend of mine. I saw the chemistry. I know a friend, Nene. What kind of friend? What are we talking about? I mean, look who's talking. Because are you in a relationship or not? Me? Yes.
Starting point is 00:36:42 Yeah, my girl right here. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, my girl right here. Oh, okay. Yeah. We'll respect. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't know. I'm trying to figure out what you getting at, talking about I'm like a detective.
Starting point is 00:36:52 Say I ask a question and I'll be surprised. I don't know what they're going to say. You'll be surprised, like when you interview people, are you not surprised at some of the answers that they say? But the Quick Bank, I feel like people, you're really good at throwing somebody missed into it like you just add some shit about somebody that has nothing to do with you like you I'm saying this problem is that you just like I was about to say something but it is not something I can clip it and it's not something if I'm asking let's just say for the sake of argument let's just say I'm sitting down and I'm talking to
Starting point is 00:37:22 Michael Jordan okay look can I give you Jordan. Okay, let's say it. Can I give you an example? All right, let's call Fat Joe in there. Let's hypothetically, hypothetically speaking, right? Yes. We use the Fat Joe, which is, this is off of not real. You, like, when you're sitting down talking to Lil' Kim, you be like, so what do you think about Fat Joe herpes? Do you feel like he should do something about it?
Starting point is 00:37:42 And then Fat Joe caught us stray. You're giving people strays And then it'll get clipped Fat Joe's herpes get talked about And then Fat Joe's like what's going on? Why am I getting tagged in this? No, I ask I say hey look Kim. What is Fat Joe like? What was it like to be in the studio with Fat Joe? What was it like to be around a Puffy or Biggie rest his soul? around Puffy or Biggie rest his soul. No, no, no, no, that's one, no you don't do that. You have a specific topic which you're good with. That's why you have a very successful podcast because you know how to clip people. You talk about Fat Joe Herpes. Can you say
Starting point is 00:38:16 Fat Joe Herpes real quick? No, Fat Joe was good. Fat Joe was good. Fat Joe was unbelievable. Yeah. I mean, he talked, I asked Fat Joe questions, he answered the questions, he talked about his son, his special needs son. Yeah, but I'm just saying, no, we're not talking on that interview, I just threw a name up there, right? No, but I'm saying, but see, that last part that you said was gonna get clicks, that Shadow Shark said this about Fat Joe.
Starting point is 00:38:41 And I would say that about Fat Joe. That you said what you said about Fat Joe. I don't know what I said. Can you say it? What people try to get, what people say is that I ask a question. Yes, I ask the questions, but I don't know the answers to the questions. That's why I'm asking. I ask questions that I think that people, if my fans that are watching or listening,
Starting point is 00:38:59 if they were in those shoes, they would ask those very questions. No, no, nothing necessary. Mr. Chad, do you agree? I mean, I kind of agree. The point of having certain interviews or to ask the questions that people want to know the answers to and probably if they were in unk shoes, those are the questions that they would ask
Starting point is 00:39:16 knowing that that's what the people want to hear. Which, no, they're not bad questions. They're good questions because they're very successful. But some people feel like they call it a strength. So for instance, if somebody somebody trying to get out of that situation you'll bring it back up like them that's what it is so that's what some people like damn he brought it back up so that's where things can get like so you know you know what about you break what's about you sharing DMs you
Starting point is 00:39:38 bringing that up somebody caught us straight somebody takes you something to confidentiality Somebody called him straight. Somebody text you something in confidentiality and you showing that. What about that? What'd that say? Who was that? What? That DM right there.
Starting point is 00:39:54 Hold on, I'm reading the chat. It says, why is Marco the 60th person on this live? Thank you. No, no, no. That's not what that DM say. Who is that from? Why is funny Marco so good looking? Thank you.
Starting point is 00:40:04 I'm reading the comments. Marco is so beautiful. Hey, chat, who is the DM from? Yeah is funny Marco so good-looking? Thank you. I'm reading the comments Marco is so beautiful Hey chat, who is the DM from? Yeah, read that DM Marco. I'm asking a question though if honestly we all went out publicly when we was all single Do y'all feel like we take the money and fame away who look better on here? Let's be real I mean like honestly like for real Scale of 1 to 10 scale of 1 to 10 what you rate yourself scale of 1 to 10 be honest I got me don't play around be honest. I'm gonna give my 9.8. You a 9.8 on what scale? a 20
Starting point is 00:40:31 No, 1 through 10, right? Oh No, I was about to scale 1 to 10 Marco. I just got big muscles like let's take away the muscles Alright, well damn. We did I mean you will put me on a zippin All right, what do you do? I mean you put me on a zippin Hey, no, I'm Margo scale of one to ten which you rate yourself. I'm just I'm just that honestly I mean honestly, okay. All right, seven point five except seven point five I mean before it would a haircut after haircut. I mean, you know, I'm not Who's asking you? No, I Like is all about confidence. I just want to make sure your confidence is what you need.
Starting point is 00:41:06 I'm just saying you're not my type. Let's get that out the way. What are you trying to say? I just, you're not my type. I mean, I mean, I wouldn't. But here's the thing, if we all win out, everybody knows who each of us are. Let's take away the fame. Let's take it away.
Starting point is 00:41:14 Like. What's up, everyone? It's Greg Rosenthal, and I'm teaming up with the King of Spring. of us are. Let's take away the fame. Let's take it away. Like what's up everyone? It's Greg Rosenthal and I'm teaming up with the king of spring, Daniel Jeremiah. He requires me to say that we're going to be bringing you 40s and free agents. The only podcast you'll need this NFL draft season from DJ's mock drafts to my top one to one free agents will have it covered for you with all new episodes every Thursday, keeping you up to date as we head to the NFL draft
Starting point is 00:41:47 Listen to 40s and free agents on the I heart radio app Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts I'm Israel Gutierrez, and I'm hosting a new podcast dub dynasty the story of how the Golden State Warriors Have dominated the NBA for over a decade the Golden State Warriors once dominated the NBA for over a decade. The Golden State Warriors once again are NBA champions. From the building of the core that included Clay Thompson and Draymond Green to one of the boldest coaching decisions in the history of the sport. I just felt like the biggest thing was to earn the trust of the players and let the players know that we were here to try to help them take the next step, not tear anything down.
Starting point is 00:42:25 Today, the Warriors dynasty remains alive, in large part because of a scrawny 6'2 hooper who everyone seems to love. For what Steph has done for the game, he's certainly on that Mount Russmore for guys that have changed it. Come revisit this magical Warriors ride. This is Dubb Dynasty. The Dubb's dynasty is still very much alive. Listen to dub dynasty on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:42:58 It's Julie Stewart Banks. I'm doing a new podcast from iHeart podcasts and the National Hockey League, and I'm paired up with one of my favorite players, the always quotable Nate Thompson. I wore nine NHL sweaters and I have story after story to share. And believe it or not, I have plenty to say and not just about hockey. Believe me, he does. Energy Line with Nate and JSB is the name of the podcast and it's gonna be, well, it's gonna be quite the ride. We're officially line mates, Nate. We're the energy line. We'll have plenty of folks join us, current
Starting point is 00:43:29 players, some of my former teammates, Hall of Famers, and wait to see some of the connections that Julie has. She has quite the Rolodex. Okay, we'll lean into Nate's playing experience and tap into our interests away from hockey and try to do what energy lines are supposed to do, provide an emotional boost. How do you feel about all that, Nate? I'm vibing, Julie. I'm ready to roll.
Starting point is 00:43:51 Listen to Energy Line with Nate and JSB on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. My name is Brendan Patrick Hughes, host of Divine Intervention. This is a story about radical nuns in combat boots and wild-haired priests trading blows with J. Edgar Hoover in a hell-bent effort to sabotage a war. J. Edgar Hoover was furious somebody violated the FBI and he wanted to bring the Catholic
Starting point is 00:44:21 left to its knees. The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century, and the god-damnedest love story you've ever heard. I picked up the phone and my thought was, this is the most important phone call I'll ever make in my life. I couldn't believe it. I mean, Brendan, it was divine intervention.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Listen to Divine Intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hold on. Hold on. Let me get this right. If we're going to take away the fame. Right. And we're going to walk the streets, we're going to walk the streets.
Starting point is 00:44:59 We're going to walk the streets. We're going to walk the streets. We're going to walk the streets. We're going to walk the streets. We're going to walk the streets. We're going to walk the streets. We're going to walk the streets. We're going to walk the streets. We're going to walk the streets. We're going to walk the streets. Hold on, hold on, let me get this right. We're going to take away the fame and we're going to walk down the street as is. I'm as muscular as I am now.
Starting point is 00:45:13 My personality is the same. The only thing you take away is the fame. But your people skills are not good. Man, please. You just said, I get people to open up. Okay, you do, but it's because people are scared of you. You are aggressive. Look at that.
Starting point is 00:45:28 You see, you talk about you are aggressive. Like I will be scared. Like see, now the only thing that saves you, you have a beautiful smile. Let's talk about it. But if you didn't have that, you are aggressive. Like people- What the hell?
Starting point is 00:45:38 What else you wanna think of when you were cut my head off too? No, it ain't that. What they have no arms. Like you can look at us. And Chad, okay Chad ball headed. Some women like ball headed people. All women, all women, all women. And listen, my personality wins nine times out of ten.
Starting point is 00:45:53 But you just look like you know how to tell women what they want to hear. So people are going to begin as a cat person. Again, you just have, you know how to work out, you know how to talk. Yeah, I'm innocent. I got to get you guys. Well, you got a kid so you know how to do something. I mean, yeah, but again, I just know how to talk. You know how to communicate. Listen, listen, I got to get you guys. Well, you got a kid, so you know how to do something. I mean, yeah, but again, I just know how to DM. And you be posting it.
Starting point is 00:46:10 People be catching straight. They talking to you in confidentiality. You posting a DM. Who is the DM? I still don't know. Who is the DM, huh? I still don't know. All right, we gonna talk about it.
Starting point is 00:46:19 No, we gonna talk about it. Oh, sure. Okay, okay. Hey, I want to ask you something too. You've had Offset, G Herbo, Boosie, I mean stars like La La on the couch. Who's your dream- Shout out to La La, shout out to La La.
Starting point is 00:46:32 Hey, who's your dream interview that you've yet to do? I say, and I think Chris Tucker will be dope. They should be. That's a good one. Okay, you got Chris Tucker? I have. He's a good one. Okay, you got Chris Tucker? I have. He's one of my first ones. But I knew Tuck, so.
Starting point is 00:46:50 What about Dave Chappelle? Why you ain't got Dave Chappelle yet? Cause he don't wanna catch us straight? Nah, I'm gonna have him on the show. Eventually, I will. That's a good one. Hey, would you ever- I got a list of people,
Starting point is 00:47:02 I got like five people that I think in 2025. Let me ask you a question. If you could interview Michael Jackson, what was something that you can ask them right now? Like live, what would you ask Michael Jackson? Yet as I asked Michael as a good one there boy Probably why wasn't Thriller enough? Break that down. Because he drove himself crazy trying to replicate Thriller. Because Thriller, you have to understand that was Haley's Comet.
Starting point is 00:47:39 Most people only see one Haley's Comet. He had Thriller. A hundred, you know, at the time, 35 million hard copies sold. But everything that came after that, even though it was doing Diamond, which is 10, how many artists now, you know the music industry, how many artists now would kill to have a Diamond album? Hard copies.
Starting point is 00:48:00 He had it. Bad was the Diamond. Dangerous. But it was a diamond. Dangerous. But it was a thriller. And so he made himself, you know, it's like a picture throwing a perfect game. And then he's like, he has one hitter, he has two hitters, he has the ERA, but he's like, it's not a perfect game. He still might. have the ERA, but he's like, it's not a perfect game. He still might.
Starting point is 00:48:26 Just because he didn't replicate Thriller again, did anybody think less of him? I mean, Prince, do you think less of Prince because he didn't? Can we compare this to football as in, like, let's say, let's take this in football terms. Like, get muscle ball ring. Like, let's say, I hit bombs. It's Michael Jackson.
Starting point is 00:48:44 He wants more. Yes. But here's the thing. No, you have to take it. You have to take it as an individual. So let's just say for the sake of argument, he goes to the sumo. He wins and he throws for 300 yards. Now, the next two sumo, he throws 450. He's like, oh, my God. Right.
Starting point is 00:49:03 But he's still one great performances. Right. But he still won. Those are great performances. They're in the biggest stage. So I'm, look, I knew, you know, Off the Wall, I think, you know, as far as like musically, me personally, I like Off the Wall better than, not commercially. Thriller is the biggest album commercially. But you go back and look at Michael's Off the Wall.
Starting point is 00:49:23 Right. It's a masterpiece. Yeah. But that's not what he thought. Yeah. I like it. So another thing, I feel like you're the only person that can get 50 Cent and John Ruby sit down.
Starting point is 00:49:33 Could you make that happen? No, I'm just saying, I really feel like you can sit them two down and also bow out and load a Romeo. Cause people feel like it was beef between them two. If you can get them two to sit down, that would be you Romeo because people feel like it was beef between them two if you can get them to sit down that would be you I don't I don't think there was beef between I think the thing is look there's the natural comparison they were young teenage guys we need to get them talk but that's the thing because you get them to down and talk to them so we get
Starting point is 00:49:58 the history behind that I can try I'm working on I'm working on another beef that I'm trying to patch up. Which one? I ain't tellin'. Hey Marco, if you had the opportunity to host something like SNL, would you do it? Oh you gotta read a trailer prompter and reading is not mine. A fundamental. And that's a strong suit? You know, don't do that. Oh, don't do that. I didn't do nothing.
Starting point is 00:50:34 You can't read? No, I can read. I told you I could read a Harry Potter book in a day. So it's just, I read what I want to read. You feel me? What I'm into. So you can't read a teleprompter? They just got slower now
Starting point is 00:50:47 How slowly talking You need this as in skill is in school No, I mean how slow does the teleprompter need to do for you to be able to be on SNL? Oh Probably about like 3.5 I just made that up. Yeah Cuz normally it's like 28 30 33 something like that. Yeah Well, you feel like do you feel like you'll be able to host would you take the BET Awards if they told you to host it?
Starting point is 00:51:21 Maybe what you mean, maybe Maybe. What you mean maybe? See a lot of times, Ocho, I look at stuff as lifelong goals for me. That's never, being a host of something like that, SNL, BET, that ain't never been my thing. No, no, no, we talking about BET. BET said we went to the Hosties, the Hip Hop Awards. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on, hold on. Me, Unc and Ocho the hosts the Hip Hop Awards. Yes. No, no, no, I'm not, whoa, hold on, hold on. Me, Unc, and Ocho the host to Hip-hop awards, yes.
Starting point is 00:51:45 No, no, no, I'm not, no, not you, Unc. What you, what you, what you, what you, what you. Oh, come on, man. If they ask you, if they ask you to host the BT awards, Hip-hop awards, do you feel like that's something that you do or, it's kind of like some jobs ain't for everybody. Yeah, but I'm not, I'm not like Hip-hop though.
Starting point is 00:51:59 That's what I'm saying, so you feel like you have to be like understand everything, you know? Yeah. That's why, that's why we would do it together. It would be perfect But you're not here hip-hop either. We're not hip-hop I'm not hip-hop. You're not here. But like you wouldn't consider it like as an NFL hip-hop player. Let's talk about it. I am You weren't even born when I was playing but But Chad, you're not a hip hop type of person. You don't like, you're not hip hop.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Don't nobody think of hip hop and think of Chad. Like, oh Chad, you're not hip hop. Hold on, hold on. When you think of me as a football player, what do you think then? I'm just curious. I could like some, you know what I'm saying? Like salsa, dancing.
Starting point is 00:52:40 Like I could see you just more relaxed. Like you wanna be Scarface, smoke the cigar, like more calm. Like you're a calm more relaxed like you want to be Scarface smoke the cigar like more calm like you're a comp But like you act like you're not you're not with you. I'm saying Listen when I when I think of when I think of hip-hop right when I think of our culture like I was I Was future before future Does that make sense? Now I'm just old. I'm just older now and my ways about-
Starting point is 00:53:05 Let's say this, okay. All right, when you think hip-hop, name three artists, hip-hop, this overall, this party hip-hop, go ahead. Like Drake, Kendrick? No, no, no, no, we talking about Joe Tom. What's the name of you, what? Oh, that's how, Tupac.
Starting point is 00:53:19 Are you 72? 72, right? He's 16. Okay. You know, I came up in the era, I came up, uh Rock Him, KRS-1, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, I came up in that era. Exactly. Okay so Chad, name hip hop, three artists when you say hip hop. My uh, my times right? See that's what I'm saying, it's not in you. I'm saying my times, right?
Starting point is 00:53:46 During my time. I'm saying why are you, I'm saying you knew what I asked you, why did you uh, like you know you're not hip-hop. What time, what era, yo. I'm saying what is hip-hop, what introduced you as a kid going through middle school? What is hip-hop to you? Who is like introduced you to hip-hop? Trick Daddy. See that's what I'm saying. Man let me finish man. Okay I'll show you. Trick Daddy, I'm from Miami. Trick Daddy, Trina and Ross. You just said my, do you see it on Kyle? You went through it like he went through. He went from New York to here. You just said when I was in middle school. I just told you when I was in middle school But that's it. It's more than that. I get it. You talking about where you're from like hip-hop is worldwide again Like he said he went middle school. Hold on. Hold on. When you was in middle school, you were listening to hip-hop worldwide Yes, I was listening to Snow Dog. Let's say Snow Dog introduced like I grew up on him, right? Yeah Y'all know Pat Pat. Yeah, who?
Starting point is 00:54:41 I grew up on him, right? Yeah. Y'all know Pat Pat? Yeah. Who? Pat Pat. Actually, it was Sugarhill Gang in 1979, and that really kind of jumped it off. And then you had Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. You had KR as one.
Starting point is 00:54:55 You had Rock Him. And then you had the NWA. You had the Public Enemies. You had LL Cool J made it cool. LL Cool J was a cool rapper. He could talk about getting the ladies and seducing the ladies. And he wasn't always talking about smashing
Starting point is 00:55:08 and smoking weed and dragging lean. LL made it cool. LL was a cool rapper. He made it fun. Right. So yeah, but let me tell you what, the S-piece. Oh, Shanna, okay, if EFE and A.S.P. reached out and asked you about now, now you're talking about something that Uncle can get his teeth into.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Hold on, now when you talk about them calling you, now you're gonna suggest I do it with you or you gonna do it by yourself? Hehehehe. Oh, Joe, I was just playing what Marco was saying. Are you gonna do it by yourself or with him? Like, the world is watching. What are you gonna do? Yeah, what you gonna do? Like the world is watching. What are you gonna do? Yeah, what you gonna do? I'm not look that that guys see those things interest you oh chill. Oh don't interest me We speak a hypothetically
Starting point is 00:55:58 Yeah, we Me I really only do things that I'm passionate about Marco if anybody anybody that knows Shannon That's why I'm normally successful at the things that I do right because I'm really passionate about doing it And if I'm not passionate about I don't do it. I don't have a whole lot of hobbies Can you get a whole lot of things? I'm passionate about can you get em and am on your podcast? So you talk to him like that will be big Can you get Eminem on your podcast? So you talk to him like that would be big A lot of people I can talk to will be big. Hey Marco. I want you to interview me. Oh me
Starting point is 00:56:36 I don't know artist me I don't know who me is. I've never heard that artist. Can you interview Chad Johnson? I What is it? You know, I like you cool, dude. Well you're not, I don't, you're not my type. I don't know, you know what I'm saying? I don't want to sit down and talk to you. No? I'm saying we good, like you're a great person. You don't think, you don't think that would be funny? Because I'm funny. It's not about funny. Man, give me Bobby. You doing all this talking, tell Bobby I want to sit down with Bobby. Let me call Bobby right now while we live. Hold on Hey, and why you call you know what this is?
Starting point is 00:57:10 Yeah You know what that is? Oh, that's that thing that be on tick tock the tick tock shop No, yeah, you you ever took one of these? No, I haven't I really don't need that. I ain't that old She only messes your call, oh. Oh yeah you know shit be happening. How long y'all been together? No that but what do that pill do for you? You sure that y'all really be taking them pills? What Roast Bars? Yeah! What you never took this? What you mean what it do? You know you know what it do. What you needed to do? No I'm saying what it I'm saying do it like stand up.
Starting point is 00:57:46 Have you ever taken an energy drink? Have you ever drank energy drink? I drunk, yeah, 28 black, I had. Okay, so it give you a little boost, right? Yeah. Okay, there you go. Hey, listen. But what if she don't want the boost? This ain't for her, it's for you.
Starting point is 00:58:04 And she gonna like it. She gonna like, oh, but here's the thing Marco, you will always, because if you don't do it all the time, she gonna say, hey, I want you to bring that pee pee you had the first time we got together. But then that's where you become addicted and now I gotta pop pills every time. That's exactly what I'm giving her, what you just saying. Hey, Marco, but I'm saying why don't you you give us somebody your agent you don't need to pop them Wow, what we gonna do go to the dog to visit together? Tell I was my age for you right you're right
Starting point is 00:58:33 And you just take them like this right put them on your tongue And you let it sit there With all the bus on here though, huh? Why you pop? Yeah, he might got something in the wings Marco. Damn listen. I'm talking about Leo. I'm popping an act of the show I'm a listen. Hey, I'm a person. Well, I'm party full of dudes and you pop it like this I guess this number guys in here like no you ain't gonna do that right now. I know with him I'm at home. I'm going upstairs and going to bed. I'm I don't know what don't you got going on I'm gonna do me. I'm not I just saying, but you ain't gotta be, yeah, like,
Starting point is 00:59:05 I don't even. Hey, hey, tell us about your facial journey. You've been posting that on TikTok. You've been telling about your journey. Oh yeah, it's just, when you, I feel like being in the industry, sometimes when you accept yourself, sometimes people find things to pull away from you,
Starting point is 00:59:20 and that's what brings out insecurity of people. But once you know you're dealing with something, you gotta, and you know it's a problem you can work on it yourself but sometimes I feel like when you get in here people pick on you and call it out and it can make people like feel insecure and they don't know what to do but once you accept it and you be okay with it like I know this is what I'm dealing with just it becomes a journey but sometimes people add it because people pick on you about it so that's one thing that nobody ever you know tell you how to do it because
Starting point is 00:59:48 nobody knows that you're gonna be who you are like we don't just pick like you didn't know you'll be like like to probably the 58th best tight end in the road you don't know that but what up but what up but here's the thing let me let me ask you a question so when you were growing up obviously kids can be very very. They made fun of your skin. Right. But didn't they? So at this age, now you finally decided, okay, you got some money, you can go get it treated, so did they tell you that they're gonna be able to treat it and you'll be able to smooth your skin out and you won't know that you have this,
Starting point is 01:00:22 I think it's, what do you have, acne? It's like, have acne acne and so it's all that you know yeah cuz my you know my mama was burnt and she had me so I came out of that so that's what acne came that ain't got nothing to do with it okay that's not a genetic trait okay well I don't know that's what my brother told me but okay so more importantly what I was trying to say is just something become a journey when you don't hide it. And I feel like being an entertainer, some people, you can use makeup all the time. I mean, you can use filters, but you know, you just got to be true to yourself and also show people. Because people can look up to you, ain't they?
Starting point is 01:00:59 Mm-hmm. The same route. So sometimes never hide your journey. That's what I learned. Just let it be that, you know? Yeah, listen, man. Same route. So sometimes never had your journey. That's what I learned. Just let it be that you know, yeah So how many how many treatments did they tell you that it's gonna take or is it gonna be an ongoing process? Yes, I'm going down. It's gonna it's gonna be a while But you know and also eating I didn't know by growing up on food stamps and stuff We got a lot of snacks and my mama never really took us to the doctors. All we did was just eat snacks all day But some people don't know they child everybody Everybody can't eat the same, so the stuff
Starting point is 01:01:26 I was eating making me weak. You're making it worse. Yeah. Yeah. So again, we just from the hood. And when you from that, sometimes you got to learn a lot of stuff. I was on a podcast and I recently said, like a woman showed me how to love myself more because when you grow up without a daddy and your mom is just like working all the time nobody there to show you that. So with that being said, I said a woman showed me how to like properly take a shower. People are like, oh you don't know how to take a shower? I'm like, no it's not that but nobody was never there. My mom would just wash your ass and get out and my daddy wasn't there but when you get with somebody and they show you properly how to do it this way, it starts to
Starting point is 01:02:04 show you to a man. That's why I say women are the best thing that you can introduce to your life. Or whatever your partner is, whatever you love. You know what I'm saying? Wherever they come from, they can show you a new step. So that's why it's always good to date somebody that's, you know, on another level that can improve you. Not just with money, not just with what they got, but... But teach you how to take a shower. Okay. I like that. Now we're gonna get clicked. No, I'm just saying. I'm just saying you didn't have to say that again. No, I'm just saying that that's dope. I know, yeah, yeah, I know.
Starting point is 01:02:29 Yeah, like, it's, we get, like, listen. So before you became Fernie Marco, you was Dirty Marco. I mean, not necessarily dirty, it was just like, you know, I was just, I was rough. Funky Marco. No, I was just rough. Like Shannon, let's be real, who told you how to take a bath?
Starting point is 01:02:42 Was your daddy and mama there? No, my sister, she's eight years older than me. She don't know how to wash like a man. So you was funky, too That's no bro. No, bro. Look I grew up I grew up in a different situation I didn't have a shower so I grew up taking a bath in a tub But you know she told me how to you know Laugh it up and right right here and right right here and go around your neck get all that up on here You use two rags or one rag? Back in the day I only had one rag.
Starting point is 01:03:07 That's not cool. So you used two rags? Yeah. Why? You wouldn't, we barely, look bro, I was happy to have a tub to be able to take a shower when we had to deal well water. So bro, slow down.
Starting point is 01:03:21 I'm okay. Hold on, why you use two rags? What the other one for? Yo ass. Oh so you you use a different rag okay. You don't do that's what I'm saying we gotta do that so tonight use two rags. Yeah we I use two I mean I sometimes I use a like a luff I got one of those uh, things, you know, not a loofah. What do they call them? A loofah. Yeah, the little smutty thing. That's a loofah. Yeah, I got one of those. I got one of those little like cloths that I use for my body. Then I use that thing for my face.
Starting point is 01:04:00 Well, can I ask you a question? What's a proper way, and it's like talking to men out there that's dealing with it, a proper way for a guy to leave a woman that's in love with him? Because I feel like guys don't know how to break up with women. Yeah, that ain't no proper way. The proper way to leave? Yeah. I mean, it's pretty easy. What you mean the proper way? No, it's not. When a woman loves you, it's hard. It's different from a man to leave a woman a break. Because they leave us in the quickness, right?
Starting point is 01:04:26 Yes How you know it's easier for the person that wants to break up is my cause they're invested See if you if somebody won't if you if you're not ready to get an outro now we talk about this a lot buddy mark Marco is that when Somebody wants the relationship and somebody wants out the person that doesn't want out is the one somebody wants the relationship and somebody wants out, the person that doesn't want out is the one that hurts the most. Even though the person that wants out hurts a little, but it's not the same as that person
Starting point is 01:04:53 that really don't want you to go. So it's hard, the more you're invested in something, the harder it is to let it go. Who you trying to leave? No, it's not me. I just wanna speak for the man that's out there that's listening, you know? Oh, okay. So that was that.
Starting point is 01:05:08 It was a chat. It was a chat question. Okay. What's up, everyone? It's Greg Rosenthal and I'm teaming up with the king of spring, Daniel Jeremiah. He requires me to say that we're going to be bringing you 40s and free agents. The only podcast you'll need this NFL draft season from DJ's mock drafts to my top one-on-one free agents. I'm Israel Gutierrez and I'm hosting a new podcast, Dub Dynasty, the story of how the Golden State Warriors have dominated the NBA for over a decade. The Golden State Warriors once again are NBA champions. From the building of the core that included Klay Thompson and Draymond Green,
Starting point is 01:06:01 to one of the boldest coaching decisions in the history of the sport. I just felt like the biggest thing was to earn the trust of the players and let the players know that we were here to try to help them take the next step, not tear anything down. Today, the Warriors dynasty remains alive, in large part because of a scrawny 6'2 Hooper who everyone seems to love. For what Steph has done for the game, he's certainly on that Mount Rushmore for guys
Starting point is 01:06:25 that have changed it. Come revisit this magical Warriors ride. This is Dubb Dynasty. The Dubb's dynasty is still very much alive. Listen to Dubb Dynasty on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. It's Julie Stewart banks. I'm doing a new podcast from I heart podcasts and the national hockey league.
Starting point is 01:06:53 And I'm paired up with one of my favorite players, the always quotable Nate Thompson. I wore nine NHL sweaters and I have story after story to share. Energy line with Nate and JSB is the name of the podcast and it's gonna be, well, it's gonna be quite the ride. We're officially line mates, Nate. We're the Energy Line.
Starting point is 01:07:15 We'll have plenty of folks join us, current players, some of my former teammates, Hall of Famers, and wait to see some of the connections that Julie has. She has quite the Rolodex. Okay, we'll lean into Nate's playing experience and tap into our interests and wait till you see some of the connections that Julie has. She has quite the Rolodex. Okay, we'll lean into Nate's playing experience and tap into our interests away from hockey and try to do what energy lines are supposed to do, provide an emotional boost.
Starting point is 01:07:35 How do you feel about all that, Nate? I'm vibing, Julie. I'm ready to roll. Listen to Energy Line with Nate and JSB on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 01:08:09 left to its knees. The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century, and the god-damnedest love story you've ever heard. I picked up the phone and my thought was, this is the most important phone call I'll ever make in my life.
Starting point is 01:08:28 I couldn't believe it. I mean, Brendan, it was divine intervention. Listen to Divine Intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. wherever you get your podcasts. So you try to leave somebody. I don't know. You know, you know, I got nobody left you. I know I got a relationship with God. We are still in there. We're doing good.

Thanks for you know, what a little time Hey, hey boy, you shut up so deep they have one have a woman ever made fun of your skin Oh, yeah, I'll be I mean the worst comment I got as a kid telling me look like somebody stepped on my face with cleats. That was a war. All right, how we exit Oh
Starting point is 01:09:35 Well women like to like the mess Dr. Pimple popper they like to press mash blackheads. What's going on with this? Anybody ever tell you look like miss Natter? They do sometimes. It used to bother me, but guess what? It don't stop them checks from coming in. It don't stop them young ones from opening up. It sure don't. So let me... As a matter of fact, you look more like Ms. Lettter to me with that skin, that acting attitude brought it up. You should have left that alone. You look, put some glasses on. I tell you what, chat, let's put glasses on, put glasses on him, put glasses on me,
Starting point is 01:10:08 and let's turn to the side and let's see who looks like Miss Ness. It ain't about the acme. Yes, it is. I'm glad you brought that up. But since you took it there, let's go there now. See, there we go with this. Put some glasses on.
Starting point is 01:10:20 That would be getting aggressive, but I'm really scared right now. I can sue you right now because I'm on your show, and now I feel embarrassed. This is a lawsuit. What your sorry for? I'm really scared Embarrassed this is a lawsuit I can you get a cease and desist where you that you went to the doctor? And it's 20,000 people watching I'm a little afraid and I lost a whole Show yeah, he the one that went to the doctor to try not to look like Ms. Nettle. I haven't done nothing to my skin.
Starting point is 01:10:48 I am saying this is a lawsuit. What a lawsuit? Why y'all arguing? No, because look, when you come on somebody's show, I feel ambushed. Like, why am I getting attacked? I ain't ambushed. Why didn't you say ambush? I'm telling you, this is a lawsuit.
Starting point is 01:11:00 This is live. You can't stop what I want to cook up. You said ambush. You said ambush. How am I amb telling you, this is live. You can't stop what I want to cook up. You said ambush. You said ambush. How are you ambushing? My hands are up because I'm afraid. No, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, I'm not going to let you try to empty the clip on me
Starting point is 01:11:16 and then hold your hand up. I'm going to fire back at your ass. Whose show was this? This is y'all show, right? I'm a guest. Let's all get Ocho. You're supposed to make guests feel comfortable. I ain't uncomfortable. Hey, no. I'm a guest. Let's all get Ocho. You're supposed to make guests feel comfortable. I ain't uncomfortable.
Starting point is 01:11:25 Hey, no, I'm mad because Ocho ain't firing back at you. I'm trying to imp to the club. He not funny than me, so he won't say no jokes my way. It ain't about funny, it's actually about being real. Okay, my bad. But funny, Marco, if you turn to the side and look at your skin, really? Is that really what we gonna do?
Starting point is 01:11:44 But I don't show people my side portfolio. Bro, look straight on. I'm about to turn sideways. Look straight on. It's the skin, bro. It's the skin. Hey, you said he looked like Ms. Netta first though. No, I read a comment. This is y'all show. These are y'all guests. I'm not talking about... But Marco, I mean, truth be told now, I mean, the chat being real. I mean, if you look at the skin.
Starting point is 01:12:11 All right, but if you went one-on-one to get girls, guess who walking out with them? Boy, stop it. Boy, stop. You don't do that. Who walking out with them? Like, you know what I'm saying, just personality skills and just what like. Nah, bro. You're not gonna bring money into me. I'm gonna bring money. That's the first of all, I'm past that stage. If you'd have called me in my 20s, you called me my 20s or early 30s. I could have made the competition.
Starting point is 01:12:36 Chad, who looks better between me and him? I'm a grandfather, bro. I'm a grandfather. It doesn't matter. I can get what I get. Who looks better between me and him? Really, dude? What? He the only one in here. Oh, Lord have mercy. Oh, bro.
Starting point is 01:12:52 Marco. I'm just a granddad. I'm about to be 57. And you don't look like it. I know. I ain't trying to get no girls. I'm trying to find somebody to settle down. I'm just saying I have a great appearance. I have a nice sex appeal.
Starting point is 01:13:08 And I'm letting you know in this room if it came down. Did you leave it at home? I'm at home right now. Oh, damn. I just told you I'm in New York. Bro, you not in New York, that's a green screen. No, it's not no green screen. What is going on with you?
Starting point is 01:13:26 I work hard for this shit. I get all you gotta do is get up and walk. Get up and walk to the back. I'm not about to walk off on your show. I'm not doing that. I'm not rude. Yes. Bro, do you understand that Ocho and I be in TV
Starting point is 01:13:44 and we understand how green screen work Wait, okay. What's great? It's night outside. What do y'all with me? See it? What do y'all fucking want to see now? I'm in a grill. I'm at my house exactly. You're the green screen No, I'm at the green room And you say you live in New York, right? Yes, I do. And that's the Hudson River behind you, right? I don't know what's back there, Bartner. How the man go get put?
Starting point is 01:14:12 What's the name of your building? I'm gonna, that's what I'm called for. I'm just asking, what's the name of your building? I don't have to speak on where I live because that's part of my safety protocols. Well, it's pretty easy to tell based on the building behind you you can know it's not because it's not that pretty easy These are $20,000 a month partner Okay Anyway, where you live? What's your apartment? Where's your address me? Yeah, what's your address?
Starting point is 01:14:40 I mean, I'm exactly you see and you don't just give that out. No, I'm saying I'm out here I'm'm out here I'm out here. Let's talk about this interview you had with G Herbo that got uncomfortable. Okay okay. This is why people don't come on that damn show. Yeah. Now tell us about that interview. That was what the chairman asked me the whole night. About that interview now for the check About that interview what happened? All right, so all right first off Let's say this why we talking by you know what all right, I was about to you know, I gotta realize What do you where you want to start? I? Mean, how did he get I mean it wasn't it wasn. It was more of like, they were on a level of trolling and it was just matching it.
Starting point is 01:15:28 Chicago got a nice way of trolling. So you know what I'm saying with them too, they was just enjoying themselves. And you know, as a man, I could have just, you know, enjoyed it back. So it was just more of me trying to read the room. But as I'm reading it, the shit is real happening in real time.
Starting point is 01:15:40 So they didn't mean nothing personal. They just really like trolling. You know what I'm saying? I just didn't match the troll I wouldn't know my feet at the time. What'd you say? What'd you scared? Now I was here because they know I would night I was scared because it wasn't like, you know, we're not dark You know saying and like, you know in my fight around 17 and oh, so besides that It's cool. My school I went to but
Starting point is 01:16:00 It's a water move yet. How you got steel water behind you? What are you talking about? I ain't seen no boat. I ain't seen no boat guys I see the water move Yeah, because it's nighttime Water move at night time. It just because of what's also both don't know about her. What a fairy at I don't see no fairy I'm in New York. No plane ain't no bird flew by Furnished or nothing. I just moved there. I just got a computer You told us you told us it cost $20,000 a month because it was furnished it fully furnished
Starting point is 01:16:37 That's what I gotta pick the furniture out. No, if a pop if it's furnished it already comes with furniture. You just move in No, but I gotta pick a certain type of furniture. No, you don't. Back, okay. A furnished apartment, you don't pick the furniture. But if I get, see, you see me scoop? Yeah, I saw, yeah, I see, come on back. You come on back, yeah, well.
Starting point is 01:17:00 Chank. Yeah, well You see that's how you know you see what happened Exactly. That's all I wanted him to do on Joe. Hey move and show the chat that that was a green screen That was a day. That was a great way to end that goddamn interview. That was that was perfect Hey, that was I'll go check it by Freddie Marco, you can check him out on IG. You can check him out on X. And he has a tour coming up that he didn't get an opportunity to tell us about, but we'll
Starting point is 01:17:34 bring his ass back and get him over here to tell us about the tour. Hey, that'm sorry, Chad. Hey, that was classic. Ojo, Tennessee is moving on from Nico LaMalava, Malavia. He's the starting quarterback. He was scheduled to make $2.4 million in NIL and collective money. He saw the quarterback from Georgia bet, leave leave, and go get four million from Miami. He stopped coming to practice.
Starting point is 01:18:09 I guess he missed some meetings and so forth and so on. And until they bumped it up to four million, he blah, blah, whatever the case. I'm going by what I read, Chad. I don't know if this is true or not. I'm just saying that's what's being reported. Right. Ocho, you and I talk a lot about this.
Starting point is 01:18:26 Yes, sir. Based on your value on what someone else is making. Come on that. 2.4 million. And maybe he's looking at it like, Hey, maybe I'm, I should get this. I should get that. Right. But this is the way I look at it, Ocho, and I think I've had this
Starting point is 01:18:46 conversation with you. If you did something special and nobody told you that it was special, would you still feel special? So if Carson Beck doesn't leave Georgia and go get four million dollars, is 2.4 still enough? Mm, come on now. Me, I could tell you I did this, I did that, but that's not why you do things. I feel even if nobody knows I did something special, because I did it out of the kindness of my heart, I still feel special.
Starting point is 01:19:22 The young man is gonna have to understand, never base your value on what someone else has gotten. The young man is going to have to understand. Never base your value on what someone else has gotten. Comparison is a thief of joy. Every time. Can I ask you a question? Yes. Who won the national championship last year?
Starting point is 01:19:39 Ohio State. Who did Ohio State play? Notre Dame. Tennessee's quarterback. When it comes to ranking of quarterbacks last year, Chador Sanders, Beck, Cam Ward, what would he rank in that group? Jackson, Dart from Ole Miss. No, I don't think anybody had him up there.
Starting point is 01:20:06 Okay. Okay. I'm just asking. I understand NIL is important. It's a good thing. But if you are what you think you are, then it wouldn't have no problem paying Yes, but you think it worth. Yes, we have no problem. Yes They wouldn't they've seen what Carson Beck is done at Georgia So he was able to get what he wants in Miami If you want to pay raise then what you do Up on the field It's pretty easy Especially now that they allow the play players in college. If your play is that spectacular,
Starting point is 01:20:50 where you feel you need a bump from 2.4 to 4, then your play would show exactly why you need that bump. He didn't come to practice, he didn't show up, and they moved on from. What does that tell you? Yes. What does that tell you?
Starting point is 01:21:08 Hey, hey, hey, hey, if you're what you say you are, if you're playing that way, hey, there are people in Knoxville, there are other things that you probably would have had an opportunity. Listen, I'm just being realistic. If I want to raise, Ocho, if I want to raise, I can't just not show up from ESPN like, you know what, I'm supposed to come on Monday to Tuesday like, nah. I'm supposed to be out on assignment or nah. What?
Starting point is 01:21:32 Honk, it's really easy. It's really easy. If you won four million, you get the money by what you do on the field. If you only make it two and a half, you only make it two and a half for a reason. You only make it two and a half for a reason. You only make it two and a half for a reason. Ocho, how much you make it right now though? Well, he probably gonna go somewhere else. I'm not sure if somewhere else. But here's the thing, the way I look at it Ocho,
Starting point is 01:21:55 he's one of these people that quit a job before he has another one lined up. Now maybe he has one already lined up. Maybe he's talked to a program that can give him four million dollars right maybe that's the case whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa slow down slow down slow down real quick the programs that can pay that kind of money for a quarterback a power five schools you do know all five schools right now have a starting quarterback already right I believe so come on that come on that guess we're gonna find out oh Joe Hopefully it works out for the young man. One, it's all about competing. So now you put yourself in a predicament where you gotta go somewhere else and beat somebody else out. Yeah. Because the schools that have the kind of money to pay you four million dollars
Starting point is 01:22:37 are the big boys and all the big boys have started quarterbacks. Hortobacks. Ocho, we got a bit of sad news. Former LSU wire receiver passed away in an apparent suicide in his car last night. Following Lacy's passing, his lawyer issued a statement that I'm going to read. Tyron was scheduled to have his matter heard before a grand jury tomorrow, where we were very confident the evidence, after being fully collected and reviewed, would lead to a declination of charges. From the very beginning, this so-called investigation took on the appearance of an overzealous targeted effort.
Starting point is 01:23:15 What can only be described as a witch hunt, fueled by who Kyron was and the public profile he carried, the decision by the investigating agency to charge him at all, in our view, was not only unjustified, it was disturbing. Imperative to understand that the Lafarouche, a parish district attorney, to this day has not formally charged Kyron. Kyron was a young man with immense promise and he was crushed under the weight of the irresponsible and prejudice process. The negative barrage on social media, the circulation of his mugshot by nearly every news outlet rather than the standard photo, the recent civil lawsuit filed against him, and that name of a defendant who mysteriously wasn't charged with a crime, only him and the overall tone of the coverage
Starting point is 01:24:05 painted a deeply biased picture before he ever had his chance to defend himself. There was never a presumption of innocence, which is exemplified by the NFL pulling his draft card over the mere accusation without affording him the slightest chance to defend himself. The pressure and the perception likely became unbearable. Let us be absolutely clear. This is far from over. We will be demanding a full review and transparent review
Starting point is 01:24:34 of how this investigation was conducted and why those responsible for this gross miscarriage of justice must and will be held accountable. this gross miscarriage of justice must and will be held accountable. But it's sad, man. That's sad. I don't want to get into details of everything going on, but you know, young bull, young bull taking his life with having so much to live for. It's sad.
Starting point is 01:25:02 I wish he understood. And had to let the process played out, Ocho. But like his attorney said, that the weight and the pressure. We talked about this, Ocho. And people tried to beat me up. And I said, I didn't want to beat the young man up too bad. What he did was wrong. And if he's wrong, he gets go to cry.
Starting point is 01:25:25 But now Ocho, it's no longer innocent until proven guilty. You're guilty until proven innocent. Right. The reason why I didn't beat him up for the speeding and this is what I said. I said, guys, I've gotten stopped. I got stopped twice. I was going 108 in a 55.
Starting point is 01:25:40 I was going 92. I got two tickets in a matter of three minutes. I said, I understand. Nothing happened. But I say as an athlete, we sometimes believe that we're immune to something bad happen until it happens. I promise you, the young man when he was driving that night, he did not expect, he did not intend, he didn't think that something like this could go wrong And we never do until it does oh Joe. Yeah, nobody gets in I don't believe people get into their vehicle and speed 70 and now if he's trying to evade the cops People to try to pay the cops. Yes, but I think you know you get into a car you travel at a high rate of speed
Starting point is 01:26:22 We're not thinking that front tire or the back tire could blow out. We don't think like that. We don't think somebody could all of a sudden pull out in front of us or somebody switch lanes. We don't think that. We think we are impervious to anything that could possibly happen. But I said,
Starting point is 01:26:40 what happened? A man tragically lost his life. And the person that was responsible is going to have to have their day in court and they're going to have to be held accountable. To whatever that may be. If he goes through the process, and this is why I can't get upset, Ocho. If somebody goes to, in today's time, somebody goes through the process and 12 men and women, 12 men and women find him not guilty or he has a, a, a judge verdict. Right.
Starting point is 01:27:08 I mean, what, what am I supposed to do? I think sometimes people take what we say and they don't listen to the interpret or what I'm, what we're trying to say, Ocho. I said him driving at a high rate of speed, him not stopping. Sometimes, I mean, they get you when you fail to render aid. Yeah. Sometimes if you to just stop, help the man out, call 911 yourself, as opposed to leaving the scene.
Starting point is 01:27:36 Leaving the scene of an accident, failure to render aid, traveling, so forth and so on. We don't need to get into the technicalities of it. But this young man is gone. Gone. And although he didn't think it was a way out, Ocho, because sometimes people just want to end up, get out of the pain. But what he felt, what he did is he left more pain
Starting point is 01:27:59 because he left his mom and his dad and his siblings, if he has those uncles and aunts. Imagine the pain that they're in. He's trying to relieve his pain and he caused so much more pain on so many more people. Yeah. I, I, I, my heart breaks for the, for the, for the gentleman that lost his life months ago, my heart breaks.
Starting point is 01:28:25 My heart breaks for this young man's family because they're answered, they're never going to be able to get answered to their questions. And it's sad on both sides. I don't know what's going to come. Maybe they could, I don't know, Ocho. I just know this is, there's two tragedies now.
Starting point is 01:28:53 Cause five, six months ago, a gentleman lost his life. And last night, a young man lost his life. So now we have two tragedies, two families dealing with loss, unexpectedly, tragically. I pray for both families that God somehow gives them the strength, the courage and the understanding to deal with this. Because it's not easy. Death is never easy. Never, never easy. Never ever easy. And the younger the individual, the harder it is to deal with. Because when we growing up, we thought only old people die.
Starting point is 01:29:34 I didn't see a whole lot of young people die. We thought old people. You get to be 70, 80, 90 years old. But now we see that's not the case. But now we see that's not the case. That's why you can't be upset about it because the deaf does not discriminate. He'll knock on the young, he'll knock on the rich, he'll knock on the poor. And when he has that appointment, it's the one appointment
Starting point is 01:30:00 that you will never be able to reschedule. You gotta take that appointment when it's your time. And the thing is, we don't know when it is our time. Kyra and Lacey gone at the age of 24. My heart breaks for both families. It really, really does. Kyra and Lacey's father wrote, Kenny Lacey, young parents, start talking to your kids at a very
Starting point is 01:30:26 early age and make sure they are confident and comfortable confiding in you. Don't be cool with I'm all right or I'm good when you know deep down something isn't right. Mental health is real and for the most part, it's invisible. Don't ignore the signs even if they may seem small Just seeing your thoughts and prayers out to both families impacted by this If you have somebody in your life make sure you tell them you love them Check on your fear and tickle family friends and ones. And like Kenny Lacey said, I'm all right. Something seems off. Go check them out. Life is so precious, but it's so fragile.
Starting point is 01:31:19 What's up everyone? It's Greg Rosenthal and I'm teaming up with the king of spring, Daniel Jeremiah. He requires me to say that we're going to be bringing you 40s and free agents. The only podcast you'll need this NFL draft season from DJs mock drafts to my top one on one free agents will have it covered for you with all new episodes every Thursday, keeping you up to date as we head to the NFL draft. Listen to 40s and free agents on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's Julie Stewart Banks. I'm doing a new podcast from iHeart Podcasts and the National
Starting point is 01:31:52 Hockey League. And I'm paired up with one of my favorite players, the always quotable Nate Thompson. I wore nine NHL sweaters and I have story after story to share. And believe it or not, I have plenty to say and not just about hockey. Believe me he does. Energy Line with Nate and JSB is the name of the podcast and it's gonna be well it's gonna be quite the ride. We're officially line mates Nate. We're the Energy Line. We'll have plenty of folks join us, current players, some of my former teammates, Hall of Famers and wait to see some of the connections that Julie has.
Starting point is 01:32:25 She has quite the Rolodex. Okay, we'll lean into Nate's playing experience and tap into our interests away from hockey and try to do what Energy Lines are supposed to do, provide an emotional boost. How do you feel about all that, Nate? I'm vibing, Julie. I'm ready to roll. Listen to Energy Line with Nate and JSB
Starting point is 01:32:43 on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Israel Gutierrez, and I'm hosting a new podcast, Dub Dynasty, the story of how the Golden State Warriors have dominated the NBA for over a decade. The Golden State Warriors once again are NBA champions. From the building of the core that included Clay Thompson and Draymond Green, to one of the boldest coaching decisions in the history of the sport. I just felt like the biggest thing was to earn the trust of the players and let the players know that we were here to try to help them take the next step, not tear anything
Starting point is 01:33:19 down. Today, the Warriors dynasty remains alive, in large part because of a scrawny six foot two hooper who everyone seems to love. For what Steph has done for the game, he's certainly on that Mount Russmore for guys that have changed it. Come revisit this magical Warriors ride. This is Dubb Dynasty.
Starting point is 01:33:37 The Dubb's dynasty is still very much alive. Listen to Dubb Dynasty on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. My name is Brendan Patrick Hughes, host of Divine Intervention. This is a story about radical nuns in combat boots and wild haired priests trading blows with J. Edgar Hoover in a hell-bent effort to sabotage a war. J. Edgar Hoover was furious somebody violated the FBI and he wanted to bring the Catholic left to its knees.
Starting point is 01:34:16 The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century, and the god damnest love story you've ever heard. I picked up the phone and my thought was this is the most important phone call I'll ever make in my life. I couldn't believe it.
Starting point is 01:34:36 I mean, Brendan, it was divine intervention. Listen to Divine Intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Now it's time for our last segment of the evening. It's time for Q&A. Now it's time for our last segment of the evening. It's time for Q&A. Dr. Frank L. Bellamy said, Ocho, I don't understand how you got 50, 11 jobs, but can't come up with $5,200. Make it make sense.
Starting point is 01:35:15 Love y'all. I agree, doc. What happened? Even if he, oh, he got 50, 11 jobs, all he gotta do is put like $100 with each job. There it is. There's my money Listen I'm gonna get it to you. I told you I need to finish some things and now let me finish the pool I promise you when I finish the pool
Starting point is 01:35:35 I'm gonna see your money. I promise you Let me let me finish the pool Let me finish building the pool and I'm gonna give you money now. Now, if we don't do that, if I give you the money, right? The Laker tickets. Let the Laker tickets take a place of the 5,200. This man says, let him buy a $700,000 car. Let him get a new crib, furnish it, let him take my money and build a pool. Now what you have to understand is the 5,200 I set that aside.
Starting point is 01:36:13 So the money I'm using for these things that I, that I've worked hard for, that I deserve what I'm in, I'm in my winning season right now. Like this had nothing to do with your money. I'm spending the money. I want to win. I can't win. You, you just bought a dog for ten thousand dollars a new one But that's my money on chope, but that's how I know you win it
Starting point is 01:36:34 We we both we you've been winning you've been winning for years. I've listened. I've been cheap for 30 some years Let me have one year. Let me have one year where I can live up and turn up for myself. My was my 5200. You could have another 30 years of winning, but I want to win. I want to continue to win with my 5200. You just told me to take you to a Laker game. Make up your mind. You want the 5200 or you want to go to the Laker game? Which one? I want you to take me to a Laker game, but I want to spend 5200 on an outfit. 5200 on an outfit?
Starting point is 01:37:03 Mm-hmm. You know I know how much that shirt cost, right? OK, thank you. Desi Jones said, hello. Hey, uncle, hey, uncle. Uncle said he's not giving up $5,200 of his hard-earned money so you can take a young tinderoni out. Uncle, what should be a nice budget
Starting point is 01:37:23 for Uncle to take a woman out? 200. 80, 200. 200? $200. Listen, anything over $200, that's not the one. That's not the one. I'm telling you, that ain't the one. That ain't the one.
Starting point is 01:37:38 I'm telling you now. Well, let me get the figure 200, then I can decide how much I wanna spend, because right now I can't take nobody out because my money jump funny. I'll tell you, I'll send you 200. I'll send you 200 and I owe you five. Because I know you want the money because you want to take somebody out. So you think you slick.
Starting point is 01:37:55 Because this is like the second or third time you mentioned about taking somebody out and need the money to take somebody out. No, we ain't doing that. Yeah, you ain't getting that F5,200 to take nobody out. $5,200 to take nobody out. This man gonna tell me I can't take somebody out with my money. I'm trying to help you save.
Starting point is 01:38:11 I'm sure whoever it is, $200 will be just fine. If you need more than that to take out, she's not the one. This man just spent almost a million dollars between a car, a house, furniture, and he crying about me taking somebody out with 5,200. Hey, this is for me to live in and drive comfort. You talk about spending money on someone, investing in something where you get nothing in return.
Starting point is 01:38:37 I'm not for to let you go out like that. How you know that might be my wife. I'm not letting you go out like that. That might be the one. That might be the one. The one what? That I take out. Nah, she ain't the one. It could be the one. The one what? That I take out. Nah, she ain't the one.
Starting point is 01:38:47 If you gotta spend that kind of money, she definitely not. If you gotta spend that kind of money, she's not the one. No, we ain't letting you go down that path. Who said that? I'm just saying. If you need that kind of money to take a woman out, you don't need to eat that. That ain't that. That ain't that. That ain't that. Snake James says, I may be country.
Starting point is 01:39:06 I want my money. 5,200. Legos and five. Hey, A1D said, oh, paper boy, pastor Troy, McElroy. Legos and five. Macaroy. Legos and five. Golf is cool, but listen, you can have Rory Macaroy wearing cutleroy or eating Almond Joy.
Starting point is 01:39:36 Legos and five. Moe 21 said Ant-Man, Batman, Superman. Legos and five. 21 said Ant-Man, Batman, Superman. Lakers and five. Junior said Ant-Man, Aquaman, Batman, Superman. It don't matter. I agree. Junior.
Starting point is 01:39:56 They go to five. Justin, feel free to use these or go bear welfare way fair. Lakers and five Naz read pumpkin seeds not even game seven Willis read. Lakers and five. Oh my god. J.J. McCarver said they hang like we scared to see the Warriors. They could have had stealth Kansas City Chiefs, Rebs, or promised to pay off Ocho's debt.
Starting point is 01:40:26 Y'all know what it is. Legos are fine. Tyron said, what's up Uncle Ocho? Can you see the Boston Celtics repeating as champions? It's hard to see if they play their best, everybody else plays their best. Everybody's gonna have to play above their best to beat the Celtics in seven games.
Starting point is 01:40:45 Now, we're finding out that Jalen Browns is dealing with a knee issue. He's got an injection in that knee. He's rested the last couple of games. So that's gonna be very interesting. But if they play to their best, they're almost, in seven games, it's gonna be very difficult for somebody to beat them.
Starting point is 01:41:05 Dexter Jones, hold on. This game is gonna be very difficult for somebody to beat him. Dexter Jones, hold on. Don't call out Jimmy Buckets for one rebound when your goat had zero rebounds the other day. It cost me a nightcap ticket to New York. I tag you your old show that did it again the next game. Dexter, I'm sorry, I didn't see that. When our goat had zero rebounds. You know the man, 40 man, give him a break. Damn. Dom Noach said, Yogi is by far the most valuable player in the league. You were stumbling reading off of
Starting point is 01:41:39 accomplishments in season 11 there. As the Mavs fans, I got gotta say the Lakers fans are for a treat playoff Lucas on another level Oh, no, we know we seen it Slam guys that uncle no Joe if Philly or the Spurs somehow get the top three pick Would you add a package to the take for Zion? No, no, I'm good damn Nah, I'm good. Damn. Lady been married four times. She cheated on every last one of her husband.
Starting point is 01:42:12 You gonna marry her? I'm gonna let him figure it out over there first. Let him get a year up on his belt, play 65, 70 games. Then we could talk in 27.
