I'm Simone Boys, host of the Brightside podcast,
and on this week's episode, I'm talking to Olympian, World Cup champion,
and podcast host, Ashlyn Harris.
My worth is not wrapped up in how many things I've won.
Because what I came to realize is I valued winning so much that once it was over, I got the blues and I was like, this is it.
For me, it's the pursuit of greatness.
It's the journey.
It's the people.
It's the failures.
It's the heartache.

Hey, this is Matt Jones.
Now, I'm Drew Franklin.
And this is NFL Cover Zero.
We're just here to try to give you an NFL perspective a little bit different.
Did you see the Colts Pretzel?
That was my other big takeaway from that game.
What was that?
Oh, my.
We think NFL coverage should be informative and entertaining.
And twice a week, that is exactly what you're going to get.
Listen to NFL Cover Zero with Matt Jones and Drew Franklin on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Ocho, during the Cowboys Jets game,
Jerry Jones had no problem letting Jets fans know how he really felt.
Check out this video, Ocho.
Let me see.
What Jerry talk about?
Can you see?
Yeah, I see it.
I see it.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Stop playing with me, yo.
Stop playing with me.
A middle finger make...
Hey, I might be the owner.
Yeah, I like that.
The middle finger might cost Jerry a little money.
2009 Tennessee Titans
former owner, rest in peace,
Bud Adams will find $250,000
for a similar incident
for a series of gestures made
in the direction of Buffalo Bills fan.
The league fined Carolina Panthers owner
David Tapper $300,000
for throwing a drink in the direction of the
Jacksonville Jags fan.
Ocho, do you think a six-figure
fine is enough or
enough of the deterrent or a
punishment for a guy
that has a franchise value that
12 billion who has a net worth of probably 15 billion.
I mean, Jerry ain't tripping.
Jerry's not tripping.
Tapper wasn't tripping.
And a young bull that did it before that wasn't tripping.
Obviously, fans probably heckling.
You know how people feel about the Cowboys.
You know how people feel about Jerry Jones.
They don't like him.
A lot of people don't like him.
And he just wanted to let those people know, listen, I don't like y'all either.
And here, take this with you.
And he's wanted.
He was waving that Cowboy fan that did hit the mother.
that that's for you yeah yeah i mean listen yeah they probably they gonna probably have
oh they're gonna find him yeah they're gonna find him at least a quarter they're gonna let him
know listen jerry you know you can't do that you can't do that you know his 500,000 go
ahead and do what you want with that you know what you will and just just well here's a million
because i'm gonna get somebody else too i'm just let you know i'm gonna get somebody else i'm
gonna be in somebody else and we go win and they're gonna be heckler me and i'm gonna show
on them too so but yeah uh jerry look jerry knows yeah he'll probably i'm surprised he didn't
mention it he didn't mention on his radio show today um but he was like yeah i know i can't do that
jerry's gonna say all the right things but he's like yeah absolutely and that that's the funny
thing when it comes to players when it comes the owners when it comes to quarterbacks they always
say the right thing they always say the politically correct thing and that's what i told you we talked
about i think last year and you said cam ward can't say stuff like that
because you're facing the franchise you can do that when you're representing an organization
whatever it may be but i would love i would love if we got back to a place
where you just say exactly how you feel and how it really is right now at that moment
but it's just something you can't but i just love i would love that raw authenticity
from players and owners when it comes to to being real for that matter be careful i don't know
if you notice we're getting back to a place that where it was previously i don't know if you
notice they're paying attention, I don't want it to go back like that.
Hey, I don't miss nothing.
You hear me?
Okay.
I don't miss nothing.
I can see it little, little by little.
As a matter of fact, let me tell you how much I pay attention.
I pay attention to all the distractions that they continue to have going on to make sure
we ain't paying attention to the things that are changing behind closed doors.
You see it?
I see it all.
Yeah.
I may play a fool on camera, but I ain't one off.
Nope.
I think the biggest thing.
is Roger Goodell
Commish probably called Jerry like Jerry
Come on Jerry
And Jerry's going to say out
He was having a little fun
He was having a little fun
Because Jerry likes to have fun
He really is
I mean look
Having the little bit that I've been around him
He really is a great guy
He'll go into if you're out
If you ever see Jerry out
And you're somewhere
He's going to send you a drink
Thank you Jerry I don't drink
Well here here's a soda
I'm trying to think
Oh it's Houston
when uh uh uh the the comeback the patriots and i saw he dropped i don't think maybe the next year when did jerry
go into the hall of fame but anyway it might have been then because he was on the bus he had his
bus he got a big old tour bus and he got like the man crew and he got the cowboy big cowboy logo
okay right so uh so the next year and uh and he yeah that was 20 yeah so yeah so yeah
27 yeah so he got elected so uh i was because i signed with i was with fox and so it was a
2016 season 2017 so that's what you're you're absolutely right and so man i went on jerry
bus man man his wife we love you but you got to lay off the cowboy the great the grand kid was
on there steven all over it was it was but if you if you ever around him he really i mean
He's really charming.
He's really personalable.
So it's easy.
He easy to like.
I'm just telling you he's really easy to like because he is so charming.
He is so personable.
And his family is the same way.
But it was great, but Jerry, no, he can't do this.
He's the owner.
They don't want the players to do that.
You damn should have won't.
I mean, probably the de facto owner of all owners.
all the sports he's probably the most recognizable the most visible he's yeah he's the
he's the biggest owner probably since mr. strionbrunner mm-hmm oh yeah hey matter
fact a shout out to my boy can't bite him I know you probably gonna see this I
appreciate the jersey it finally came it finally came in the male uncle I remember I've got
what so it was when I was yeah when he when he scored it he had interception he done
crazy celebration I said obviously right now you probably went
of my favorite players, boom, they reached out to me.
They got me a jersey.
He signed it, too.
I'm not supposed to be wearing it.
I'm supposed to frame it.
Yeah, my dog.
Is that a cold jersey?
I can't, yeah, buying them.
Just, yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Cam, I appreciate that, boy.
Hey, you see how big I got?
Golly, bro.
No.
I'm slow.
Hey, you know, I got an email, too, um?
From who?
Hey, when I was in Vegas for the fight?
When I was Vegas for the fight, I went down and tried to audition for the Chippendales.
They finally emailed me back.
They say they're not hiring.
No, they say they're hiring.
They just had a spot open up.
They had to fire some dude.
Yeah, so I'm thinking about relocating out there when the season over.
No, I want you out here.
I'm going to have a residency, a Chippendale residency.
You move out here.
I'm moving to Miami.
okay that's fine that's fine matter of fact hey you know what's funny is you ain't even know
you just got back in town huh yeah you did do me a favor right
look around look around real quick and see what you see missing out of your room
all i know is that uh you know what i told as what you called man said ocho this
trouble hold on hold on you don't you don't see nothing missing out of your room I told you
I told y'all I'm going to come to Vegas when you wasn't in town and when you, hey, listen, when you walk in your house, it's a portrait to the right and a dog bowl to the left.
Why do you get my trophies?
I told you, I told you, I'm going to come out there and get my stuff, you hear me?
Huh?
I told you, hey, I brought my trophy back.
Hey, hey, you need me, you got to, you know, also, you need to work on your security system.
All I did, all I did, I cut, you, you got to get ADT.
Because that system you got, that definitely ain't in.
Hey, check your cameras.
Check your cameras two days ago at 702.
I'm going to get, 7.02 p.m.
I got, I got, I got, I appreciate that.
I got, I got a new one.
I'm about to get Glock and Sig Sauer, my new security.
Hey, hey, I appreciate, I appreciate the trophies, though.
I appreciate that's love.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Hey, the fact that it had to come break in just to get my stuff, shoot.
you ain't getting no more though thank you though you ain't getting no more oh I know how to get in
now I'm just wait to you out of town hey that's all right y'all see hey he broke hey I'm glad
because I got we taping this so uh I'm just going to turn this over to the uh Las Vegas
police department but they're not going to be able to they're not going to be able to identify
me because I was coming up but you tell it you tell it right now yourself but we're taping this
I mean, I could just tell them I was lying.
There's really no evidence.
He ain't lying.
He's telling the truth because I'm missing two trophies.
I appreciate that.
It was good doing business.
I missed two trophies.
So you know what?
Don't worry about it.
Don't worry about the chat.
Y'all saw that right, chat?
Y'all saw the man broke in the house now.
Now, he doesn't got his trophy.
Now send me my money.
I had to come and get my trophies.
I had to come and get him.
That's a five-hour flight from Miami.
Five-hour flight on Spirit.
I had to find where you lived at.
Then I had to go through the goddamn,
the house plans to know exactly where to enter and where to come out.
Man, you do.
I had to cut the wires.
I had to get the trophies.
I had to rewire everything back together and then leave.
That was a headache for me.
Can I get my $59 now?
I got you.
Now you know what?
Now you can get it.
You can get it now.
Thank you.
I appreciate that.
Man,
that came in my house and Ash and Joy was in on it.
Because they know the code to the gate to get in.
First of all,
you've got to get through the gate.
Hold on.
For one, gates,
I jumped them.
I jumped them.
Because if the code,
they'll be able to tell that somebody was there at that certain time,
I don't need anything logged in.
I don't need none logged in.
I jumped that.
That ain't nothing.
Yeah, that's okay.
I got something for it.
Chat, but y'all see that.
He told you, hey, you are, uh, uh, he told y'all what he did.
So, so with something bad happened, I ain't responsible.
When they say, hey, don't man, uh, can't have to do that.
There ain't nothing but a little trophy.
They have of them here's anyway.
I don't want to hear that.
I'm good.
God on my side.
God got me.
Yeah.
That's all right.
I will get you.
I will get my money back.
Now I want my money.
Yeah, you got. You good. I got you. Nope. Nope. He doesn't broken my house, chat, and took two of my trophies.
I'm Dan. He's Ty. Hello.

Oh, my.
So that was my other big cult's takeaway.
They sold that?
Yes.
Might want to go back to the...
At the Colts Stadium.
Yeah, I might want to go back to the drawing board on that.
Yeah.
I thought the shape we had with pretzels was working pretty well.
It's worked for generations.
We're just here trying to enjoy it.
We hope you all will join us throughout the year.

Greatness doesn't just show up.
It's built.
One shot, one choice, one moment at a time.
NBA champion, Stefan Curry, comes Shot Ready,
a powerful never-before-seen look at the mindset that changed the game.
I fell in love with the grind.
You have to find joy in the work you do when no one else is around.
Success is not an accident.
I'm passing the ball to you.
Let's go.
Steph Curry redefined basketball.
Now he's rewriting what it means to succeed.
Shot Ready isn't just a memoir.
It's a playbook for anyone chasing their potential.
Discover stories, strategies, and over 100 never-year-old.
before seen photos order shot ready now at stephen curry book dot com don't miss stephen curry's
new york times bestseller shot ready available now uh mike mcdaniel says dolphins owner steve ross is
really frustrated macdaniel he's really frustrated just like i was we talked about the challenge
ahead to get ready for the charges and that was really the extent of it miami's one and four start
is its worse since 2019.
The team's previous two coaches,
Brian Flores and Adam Gates,
were fired at the end of their third season.
Ross dismissed Joe Philbin
after a 1-3 start in its fourth season.
Tony Spirano after a 4-9 start in his fourth year in 2011.
Ocho is Mike McDaniel officially on the hot seat.
He's on that last year.
Absolutely, he's on the hot seat.
Listen, you know, personally, I love Mike McDaniel.
I love Mike McDaniel.
And as we always say, players get coached.
Absolutely.
They're not playing well.
They're not playing well.
The better the players you have on the field,
the easy it is for you to win and have success.
Right now, obviously, with Tyreek going offensively,
even when Tyreek was there, they weren't playing.
Correct.
Things, yeah, their thing for the Dolphins just aren't going well as they were two years ago
when they were on fire offensively.
And it just is not good.
I think they are in somewhat of a rebuild.
I'm not even going to say somewhat.
They're going to have to rebuild.
They're going to have to tear down and start all over.
They're going to tear down and start all over.
And I'm hoping, I'm hoping that Mike McDaniel can make it through the season,
but it's all going to be based on the players.
He ain't making it.
It's all going to be based on the players and whether they show up
and show out on Sundays for their coach.
If they don't, he might not make it the week eight on.
He ain't going to make it.
He might not make it the week.
He ain't going to make it on, Joe.
I mean, like I'm saying, this is last year in Miami.
is it
um yeah
no reek
even when they were
I mean even when reek was there last year
they weren't playing very well
yeah
um
they had a 17 nothing lead
against Carolina
and Carolina
and walk them down
yeah
it's over
yeah
um
and I don't know what the reports are
about guys being late
and this and that and stuff
being overlooked I don't know what's true
but right
there's probably some truth
there's even truth
there's a little truth even in a lot
but I understand and for him to publicly speak
because this is the first time that I heard
I mean that he and the owners spoke
they speak after after every game I didn't know that
yeah you did I think most coaches talk to the owners after games
especially when they aren't going well there's nothing to talk about
when you win them ask your question but if we keep losing
okay now I got the answer to the head man I got to answer the head boss
because not only my investment that I'm putting in you,
but why are we not, based on what I'm investing,
why am I not getting a goddamn return on that?
I need a return on that money.
But it's the fact that he mentioned that they, okay,
let's just say for the sake of argument,
that's commonplace.
Coaches don't normally mention about the conversation
that transpired between the two.
Okay, okay.
That's what, okay, maybe I phrased it wrong.
I'm not surprised that they meet.
I'm surprised that he divulged some of the things that they talked about in said meeting.
You talk about right.
Right.
Yeah.
But, yeah, I just, you know, and the history is Ross, you know.
Hey, you got short pace.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I don't know if he got short patience.
Look, Joe Philbin lasted four seasons.
Tony, Tony Sparano lasted four seasons.
Uh, uh, Brian Flores and Adam Gays, that lasted three seasons.
So what year is this for Mike McDaniel?
Three, coming up on four?
This is his fourth season.
Two, three, four, five.
It's fourth season.
Yeah, he good.
Okay.
And they probably got,
they probably gave him a contract distinction after he won,
took the team to the playoff.
So he probably got a contract extension.
He's good.
He's straight.
Yeah.
Well, what you mean he straight?
Straight is he not going to where?
straight to about money's his money. Oh, no, no, he's going, he's going to leave. I don't
advocate anybody being getting fired, but back to back seasons like this with the money that
he's fit into, the money that he, and the draft picks that he traded and those high, you know,
they pay the king's ransom to get Jalen Rathen. Now, they did trade him and brought back
Mika Fitzpatrick, but you know, they spent a lot of money for Jailant's, uh, for Bradley
Chubb. They played a lot of money in Phillips. They just, they spent a lot of money. And the return is
just not there on the investment.
Yeah, man.
Yeah, that, that sucks.
That sucks.
I'm curious where they're going to go,
especially coaching-wise.
I think Tua,
they just paid Tua last year,
so Tua probably has about maybe another three.
Maybe three.
They're going to let Tua keep playing like this.
He ain't going to be there three years.
He's going to have to pick it up.
He's going to have to play better.
You have to play better.
Right.
And.
Dang.
That's just the way it is.
Right, right.
That's a scary thing to, that's a scary thing,
especially as a player you think you're safe,
you think you've gotten paid.
But obviously, if you're not playing as well as you should be,
especially when you're making a certain amount of money,
especially at the most important position on the field,
you know, as a quarterback, your team go.
Right.
Your team go, if you're playing well,
then everything flows really smooth
because they do everything through you.
If the quarterback ain't playing well,
shit, you got damn defense better be all world.
They better be top one, top two.
If they're not,
boys, it's going to be real hard to win games.
Extremely difficult.
And they're not really,
they're not anything special on either side of the ball.
So when you're not special on either side of the ball,
this is what you're going to get.
You're going to get one and four.
And it's going to be a struggle because we see New England is pretty good this year.
We see Buffalo, Buffalo is Buffalo.
So there are no, what's Miami's next five?
games it's not a hey matter of fact you said new england is good yeah why is new
why is new wingling good you know because of who they got the charges next browns
falcons ravens bills they might i mean they can they can they can you know if lamar's not back
they can beat the ravens it ain't looking good charges no charges go get charges just
Chargers just coming off, coming off a loss too.
They definitely looking for somebody to.
Take their frustrations out on.
Yeah.
They're that, hey, right now people looking at the Dolphins like, okay,
play the Dolphins and call me tomorrow.
Like the doctors, they take two hours and, uh.
Hey, the Dolphins basically the homecoming game.
Who we want to schedule for homecoming?
Dolphins.
It's all good.
Yeah, but we're going to be all right.
Everybody laughed now.
When we bounce back?
Boy, y'all ain't bouncing back.
Going to be back?
All right.
Yeah.
When, when that going to happen?
Give it, give it through.
Oh, we got to rebuild now.
We got to rebuild.
Is it going to happen in the 20th or the 30s?
I'm Dan.
He's Ty.

My worth is not wrapped up in how many things I've won because what I came to realize is I valued winning so much that once it was over, I got the blues and I was like, this is it.
For me, it's the pursuit of greatness. It's the journey. It's the people. It's the failures. It's the heartache.

All right, got
Ocho, we got a very, very special guest
joining us. Massa! We got the gold
medal winning 100-meter hurdle
specialist woman.
She has the American record of 1217.
She's chasing that Toby Almondson's record,
the Nigerian of 1212, and I think she's going to get it.
Maasai, thank you for joining us.
Thank you for having me.
How are you guys?
We're doing amazing.
What up, Twinn?
Nothing much.
The world championships did not go as playing.
I mean, you had been running up until that, running really well.
You go 12, 17, you're ending the 20s, low 20s, the entire season.
and for whatever reason you weren't able to put it together
in the finals of the world championships.
If you don't mind, explain what do you think went wrong?
I think a lot went wrong.
Of course, everyone knows I was, like you said,
running all these crazy times throughout the year,
but I'm not the type to make any excuse
as in to why I didn't get the job done.
I think the main thing was just not the best planning going into the meet.
And me and my coach kind of talked about that,
And I can assure you that those things won't happen again
and a lot of different things went into, like,
a lot of things had a reason as into why I didn't do what I needed to do.
But like I said, I'm not in the business.
I'm making up excuses.
I'm young.
That was my second global final.
The first one I won.
The second one didn't go as plan.
But I can assure you that it won't happen again.
That's what we like to hear.
Messiah, when you, look, I got kids older than you.
But I know women hurtless.
So I go back.
I know Gail Deavers and Joanna Hayes and Don Harper and Lolo Jones.
Yes.
And Breonna Rawlins, when we swept in Kenny Harrison,
when she set the world record, Yadonka Donkava,
I was around when Yadonka Donkava set the world record in 88 of 1221.
She also won the Olympics in Seoul that year.
So I know the women I follow.
I love Tracking Field.
I don't know if you can tell,
but I love track and field.
It is my favorite.
I was a professional football player,
but the sport that I love to watch
that I really enjoy,
it is the only sport that I watch
with the sound on.
All the other sports I watch,
there is no sound.
I love to hear Otto Bolton.
I love to hear Sonia Richards Ross.
Carol Lewis used to be on the call
as the lady that called the track and field.
But I say that to say this.
How soon can we expect you to challenge that
world record.
Hey man, I feel like whenever it's meant to happen, it's going to happen.
I got another meet this weekend.
But, Appalo's.
Yes, shout out to Aflos.
They're giving us another opportunity, another platform, all we missed meet to do our thing.
But, you know, I don't know when it's going to happen.
And I feel like, for me personally, I'm not like on a timeline to like, when am I going to
break the work, when am I going to break through a record?
You know, I know when I run my fastest times, I'm not thinking about what I'm going to do.
it just kind of happens.
And I feel like when you're like reaching and searching
and trying to like break the record
or run a fast time, it never happened.
So for me,
whenever it's going to happen, it's going to happen.
Just like when I ran at 1217 and at 1219,
it didn't feel like it.
It just happened.
So, you know, at the end of the day,
whenever it's meant to be, it's going to be.
You got your cash out ready?
I got it ready.
They said they swapped that car.
They had, hey, what's your,
they put that thing in right up immediately.
no i'm ready i got it ready i already got the app downloaded i didn't sit the wire transfer
the banking number route a number i got everything go ahead ojo
hey what what what what what part what part when do you get a break when you get to relax
when do you have downtime to do some of the things you love to do outside of track so i think
i run at 720 the break starts at 721 so i would be sure
Killing. After that, I'm chilling for like two months. I don't want to hear. I don't want to smell. I don't want to think of a track. So I'm actually going to Miami as my vacation. So I'll be in your city.
Okay, okay, okay. I want to know what's in the water at Bullis. I'm trying to figure out how to hell Quincy Wilson yourself. All these people come out of this one school. What is going to what? What is the track program? I'm trying to figure out what y'all got going on.
it's low-key like a college program but it's just in a high school setting you know I just think it's the coaches I think the coaches just have like really maximize like wanting to be a good program and um yeah I just think that they've done the research they want to be the best you know somebody got to be the best somebody has to do it somebody has to put the work and I think those coaches over there just they understood what they wanted to do and you know every year ever since I was a junior and senior they've been killed.
it ever since so for a program to just like continue to produce like world like i mean honestly
world-class talent like me i mean people most of people at wendy won quincey wilson got a gold
medal last year i got a gold medal so you know i feel like the proof is in the put in and if you
won right fast you already know where to go what made you go to i'm i'm i'm i'm trying to figure this
out um sid sid mclaughlin lebrone she goes to kentucky you go to kentucky now at the time
Kentucky was not that program, I forget the other sprinter, the 100 meter specialist.
She ran the 100, she ran the 400, Abby Steiner.
She went to Kentucky.
But when I look at programs, LSU, Texas, Arkansas, USC, and I'm like, when did Kentucky?
I know Edric, he's now the head coach at maybe he was your coach, but I think now he's at the University of Texas.
Was he your coach in Kentucky?
No, so I was a year late, right when he left, I came in.
So then Rolando Green became the head coach there.
He's been the head coach.
He's my coach, and he's been who's been coaching me ever since, like, I was, like, first step foot on the campus,
and then now I'm still my professional coach.
But I don't know.
I don't know what's in the Kentucky border.
I know it's, like, hurdle you.
And I think that we're, like, doing our big one in terms of that because it's me, Jasmine
Camacho, Quinn, Kenny Harrison.
Yes.
Like, it's just like every single year.
Like, it's a hurdle or doing their thing.
So, yeah, I mean, I don't know.
I just think it's, I don't know.
It's just one of them programs that, like, I think have had a lot of just a lot of good luck and success and some hardworking people in the hurdles.
And then even just like outside of the hurdles, but definitely the most stacked in the hurdles.
Yeah.
Yes.
You know, it was funny, too, is I'm thinking about in high school, you know, I was a track runner.
I was very fast, you know, in a hundred.
I was 9, 9, no, 10, 10 flat, and I ran the two.
100 yard, dash.
Oh, okay, 100 yard, not meter.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
No, 100 meter.
Hey, Uncle, I would 9, I would 9, 8, 9 to high school now.
I just, yeah, so I'm thinking about, you know, my daughters that can take.
Obviously, you know, my daughter's on the track team at Kentucky, too.
So I'm thinking I still got some eligibility.
So I'm thinking about enrolling and running to seeing if I could, I could probably no duel us.
You're going to come to Kentucky?
You're going to come to be teammates away a baby shot?
Yeah, I'm going to be.
Yeah, yeah.
That's never been done.
Aside, with his grades, he couldn't get in prison.
You ain't got that to worry about, baby.
He's straight.
He's good.
He good.
So you just.
Yeah.
Besides, we had Melissa Jefferson on.
And we was talking to her.
And this was before she actually ran.
And I said, you know what?
I said, watching you run.
I said, there have been very few women only in, and recently.
back up 106
with another 106
so you could tell
she was in tip top form
I say you have the people
in the world championship
when you look at
who's around and you look at
you had Toulouse Smith
and you had Shikari
and you had
Julian Alfred
and you had Dina Asher Smith
you had all these women in there
so you had the people
that can push you
you had the condition
even on a rainy track
and she ran what she ran
I said if you get a favorable
with win
I think you can go sub 105
I mean, sub 106, she said in her mind,
she thought she could run low 10.5.
I say that to ask you, you get the ideal conditions.
You get, you get a Starks, you get Atea Jones,
you get an Amundsen and you get kombucha in that race
and you get perfect condition.
You say you don't think about it,
but you know you're gonna probably need to run low
in order to be first to the tape.
Yeah, absolutely.
I mean, that's always the mindset,
lying up against the women's hurdles.
I mean, we're definitely the most competitive event across the board.
And that's the thing.
If you're not showing up as your best, like, it's going to be tough to bring a win.
Like, it ain't ever going to be an easy win in the women's hurdles.
But I know for me personally, the way that I view myself and the way that I am
and the way that my work ethic is, it's just like I know when I'm at my best and when I'm
mentally locked in and physically locked in, it's not a lot of people that can
humbly compete with me.
And I feel like I've showed that, like, I don't have the world record.
But I'm the only woman to ever run 12 once twice in the same year.
So even though, you know, Tokyo didn't go as planned, everything always happens for a reason.
So like I said, that's going to be the first and last time that you'll ever see that happen.
And, yeah, I mean, I know, like, I'm a game-time competitor.
I'm a big-time competitor.
So at the end of the day, like, I'm going to show up when it counts.
You're not the world.
You don't have the world record yet.
Yet.
Yeah.
Matter of fact, you know, I have a question, too.
As a former hurdler with much experience,
obviously there are different phases
and strengths and weaknesses when it comes to when we do run.
When it comes to you, when it's time to run the hurdles,
what do you think the strongest part of your race is?
Is it the beginning?
Is it the middle or the...
All right, this is going to sound kind of gucky, but...
Go ahead. Talk your shit.
I know you don't care.
I know you don't care.
But, like, you can't, like, running, being a 12th.
one hurdle there's not like a bad part of your race but um i think my what i'm most known for is
definitely the back end and that's what like separates me from most but you know i think what changed
this year is that i got like the start mixed with the finish so like you said perfect conditions
perfect setting even when i ran the 12-1 at grand slam like it was a great track perfect win
perfect temperature um yeah i mean it was just it was just a great day and then when i ran my
12-1 in Poland it was like fast track good energy good vibes like I felt good so you know like
I said at the end of the day when it's going to happen it's going to happen I'm like getting closer
and closer so it's I'm definitely feeling for it and it's going to happen when it's closing
hey are you are you superstitious or do you do the same routine before every race do you have
the same meal I like cut back because I mean I definitely for well when I was like a high school
and honestly in college I don't know what I was thinking about before I competed I'm like
I just was like, I feel like I was like a little baby just out there competing.
But then when I went pro, like before the Olympics, like my mind, my whole mindset just
completely changed.
So I think that now I definitely have a routine, but I try not to like be so picture perfect
because it's like at the end of the day, it ain't never going to be the same.
It's never going to be like you can't replicate it.
So you can do certain things that are the same, but you just got to show up and run.
Like at the end of the day, I tell myself I'm fast.
So that's all it is.
Like if I'm fast, I'm fast.
matter what the weather is, what the time is, how it is. It just, it is what it is. So just
believe in that and just be true to that and you're going to run fast. So I try not to like
get too caught up. We had a court. Go ahead, don't you. One more thing. I have a question.
When it comes to diet, are you one that it is free when it comes to what you consume or do you
are you strictly on, okay, I always got to eat healthy. Everything always has to be good for my
body or do you have a healthy balance of okay i'm going to eat McDonald's like ohcho but also on
another hand i'm going to make sure i eat yeah so i feel like in the off season i go kind of
kind of crazy um but like in season i just try to stay away from the fried foods just because like
i've learned a little more about like nutrition and how it processes in the body so now you know
when i was in high school you know i'll be doing a chick filet for breakfast lunch and dinner like you
and all, but I just try to eat, just clean, like, not even just, like, as an athlete,
just, like, as a human.
Right.
And we run, like, the way my coach trains, we get around the track.
So if you're not fuel in the right way, you're going to feel terrible.
Right.
So for me, like, I just stay away from, like, the fried foods, but I love a good sweet.
I can't lie.
Like, I'm always going to get a little sweet every now and then.
Yeah, see?
You still eat McDonald's?
Yeah, that's why you think I look like that?
I can't believe you still eat McDonald's.
You and Chielle, y'all, y'all got to stop.
Yeah.
He's not, he's not going to stop, though.
I am.
You eat McDonald's?
No.
That's why he's so small.
No, no, I eat, I have, I eat, I, I try to eat, I eat healthy.
I probably, I eat, try to eat three to four times a day, so that's 28 meals.
20 at least 25 um will be tremendous rice broccoli carrots chicken ground turkey lean cuts
of pro lean cuts of beef stuff like that and then you know i might have you know i might have
a sausage biscuits or something like that but the majority of the time but yeah yeah oh yeah i yeah
i'm talking both oh cho no no no vestibles well you ain't never had a big mac with lettuce
What you mean?
You're like a festival.
They come with tomatoes, too.
Man, they don't put no tomatoes on no Big Mac.
I get, I get tomatoes on my Big Mac.
What you're talking about?
You see, you see what I'm saying?
He's not going to go to class.
He had one class all day.
He was in the same classroom the whole day, Maasai.
He's not going back to school.
That's why.
I got to keep an eye on him.
When we go places, I do.
I got a leash.
He locked on my arms because he'll wand off.
See, listen.
I didn't want to tell you about
I was trying to save it
I didn't want to let nobody know
but obviously University of Kentucky
offered me a one year scholarship
they offered me a one year scholarship
I sent in my film in
I sent the footage in
they saw me run a hundred
Oh who recruited to was it Coach Green?
No
yeah Coach Green he said he said
Listen I'm thinking about
give you a scholarship
Can you come in and run a one and the two
Bro why are you like this
I don't know
I promise they saw it running
They saw him leaving the mall.
They said, yeah, he might can run the 100.
Right.
Hey, y'all don't believe in me.
Y'all, y'all too acting like my high school teachers, man.
They told me about going to mount the shit.
I'm telling you.
I'm going to prove you wrong.
I can't wait to see it.
Maasai, thank you for joining us.
Congratulations on winning gold in the Paris Olympics.
Look, things didn't work out.
Sometimes you have, hey, you fall, everything was feeling great,
and I know you wanted to back up, you know,
consolidate the globals with a goal in Tokyo,
but it didn't happen hey you get a chance Saturday enjoy your time off and come back next
you uh what is the ultimate championships the next year right ultimate championships are in
september next year okay so let me before we get you out of here so now you're going to take a
month or two off chill relax you know eat you know eat some you know i don't know do you like
breakfast you like pancakes you like yes yes breakfast is my favorite meal breakfast is my favorite
meal also so so so so how soon before you get back and start you know doing a little
light jogging, do a little passive stretching,
get back in the weight room.
How, what, November,
December, first of the year?
For the November,
it sounded a little too close, but.
December sounded a little too close, too.
So the first of the year, huh?
I'm pushing more towards the first of the year.
I probably started getting moving a little bit
like in December just so I get my feedback under myself.
But I want to be showing up for actual training
with my coach,
to the first of the year, yeah.
So I'm-
What do you train, if you don't mind me asking?
I train it still at the University of Kentucky.
Okay, so, okay, so you live in Kentucky.
Okay.
Yes.
Well, congratulations, continue success.
Stay healthy.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
I just thought about something.
60 meter hurdles.
If we race, you think you'll beat me?
Wait, if we both did the hurdles,
if you run a flat 60 and I'm going over hurdles.
No, I'm going over her.
I'm a hurdle runner.
What?
Be you in the 60, Ocho.
Hold on, hold on.
Maasai, I didn't be Grand Holloway in practice.
I trained with grand.
Then you got your answer.
Then you beating me.
You smoking me.
Okay.
I just want to know.
I got massage against you in a straight 60.
Period.
What?
Like, with no hurdles.
I got Maasai against you.
Pull up to Kikit, Tucky.
You already know where I stay.
I got my side against you straight up.
60 meters.
Okay.
Bet.
Bet.
You already know where I'm going to be at.
Bet, okay, bet, bet.
Matter of fact, I beat you and my daughter.
You know, as a matter of fact, and guess what?
When it happened,
Messiah, March around March or April, when you're back in shape,
we're going to come down there and we're going to put it.
We're going to put the money on the ground.
Put the money on the flow.
Put it on the flow.
Put it on the flow.
Hey, and when you run by, I want you to pick it up
and you cross the line first.
You go ahead and grab it.
You go ahead and grab it.
Because money out of sight calls a fight.
Maasai, thank you for joining us.
Congratulations on all your success.
Continue success.
Hey, come back and join us sometime soon.
Thank you guys so much.
I appreciate y'all.
All right.
Thank you.
Maasai Russell, American Olympic champion, 100 meter hurdles.
And she's the American record holder with a 1217.
She's the only woman to have two sub 1220 hurdles.
races. Congratulations. We'll see you down the road. Bye y'all. Bye. Ocho. Bingoes coach Zach Taylor isn't
relinquishing one of his team's most important duties. Taylor confirmed today he will
retain his role as teams offensive play caller after the Bengals suffered their third
straight loss 3724 home defeat to the Lions. Cincinnati mustered just three
points through the first three quarters for the third consecutive week. Taylor
said he'll continue his dual capacity he's held since taking over the team's head coach
in 2019 yeah he don't need to relinquish nothing i know what they need to do can i tell you
what they need to do now that's my team and i love him i love him to death but boy i don't care
if you had jesus and the 12 disciples that quarterback they're going to be running for their life
But Jake Browning, he get the ball
Before he could even turn the ball around
And grab the laces to look down the field
To see what he wanted to throw the ball
Boy, he's running for his life, you hear me?
Stop calling all that scat protection then.
Hey, but let me tell you something.
Zach Taylor, what do we need to do?
If you understand there's a weakness at the officer line,
what do we do?
Okay, we got Jake Brown and shotgun.
Let's go quick game.
Dense the goddamn splits, run crosses, run whips, run the stick routes,
allow him to get in the rhythm to get the ball out of his hand fast.
You know, there are ways to manipulate the play calling
because there's a certain weakness up front.
You can do that.
Right.
You can do that.
Two seconds?
This NFL, if them boys can't block for two seconds to allow him to get the ball out
and shotgun, they don't need to be on the goddamn team.
I saw a lab with my own eyes on the safety on the safety he took yeah I saw that that loop around what are we doing it was one second one second it's one-on-one no disrespect to the guard you can't do that at this level how do you whiff he didn't even make a good move he stepped he stepped to the right and he went to the left and you whiff completely
Completely.
You did.
That's the NFL.
Come on, man.
Well,
he about to lose both of those duties
at the end of the season,
unfortunately, Ocho.
Yeah.
Oh, another thing, I'm glad you said it.
Chase, Chase,
I love you to death.
I don't care if they know what we're running.
I don't care if they know every plate.
Boy, you're the best in the league.
We pay you $40 million.
If the ball in the vicinity, you get jiggy with it like you did the other day.
I don't care if they know the plays.
Every time it come your way, you make magic, boy.
Make magic.
No excuses.
None.
You wear number one for a reason.
For a reason.
You're the best in the game for a reason.
Every time you come out of the huddle, boy, you've got to get in sixth year.
Well, I don't care what the players come to me.
Double team, triple team, four people on me.
Just throw it, put it in the area.
You know, I heard Chase say that.
They know, they know what we doing.
They know the player that's coming.
Man, uh, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh.
Boy, you were one for a reason.
We pay you $40 million for a reason.
I don't care if they, I don't care if they got the playbook.
Oh, Joe.
get jiggy.
Oh, Cho, you might catch some passes,
but they know what you're doing.
You're not going to win a whole lot of games.
You know that, right?
I know.
Okay, I'm with you with you right on.
Hey, listen, I'm getting a little emotional.
I'm getting a little emotional.
And, man, you got me, you got me losing my boys.
No, you've been sick.
Hey, chat, this man been sick for three weeks.
Hold on.
I'm not sick.
That man been sick for three weeks, chat, and y'all know it.
You look, oh, my goodness.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, uh, guess who was our leading tackler in the game?
Chase?
Yep.
And matter of fact, because Jamar Chase was the leading tackler and he led us in the receiving yards,
we need to pay him so more money.
Because he's playing both sides of the ball.
He's doing the job.
He's not asked to do.
What's you doing?
Man, you, everybody heard you call.
I don't know what that is.
Not because I'd be smoking.
Delays.
That's all.
Hey, maybe I need,
and you think I need to take an off day?
Man, look here.
I don't know what you got going on, Ocho,
but you got to cut that out.
I mean, three weeks?
Man, it just happened.
No, no, no, that thing has been going on for chat.
Chat, how long Ocho been sick?
When I was on my,
when I was on a flight on the spirit flight from Vegas.
The fight was last week.
Man, that fight had been three weeks ago.
No.
Hey, you know, I smoke about three, four sticks a day.
That don't make it no better.
You keep on carbon like that.
They ain't going to let you in London.
Oh, they ain't got no choice.
Yeah, they do.
Hey, hey, I'm going to, I need, what's in the name?
Information.
You know, I go to New York.
I'm in New York, Tuesday and Wednesday.
And I fly, um, Havoc.
Shoot, I want to meet, I wanted to meet Foxy and look Kim.
I need an autograph.
Well, I ain't got it.
the hell I know I know I'm just seeing I fly I fly to London on Thursday so matter
fact you know I get to sit I get to sit with Goodell at the Broncos game huh having
your wake Juan want to know if you want to come by rehearsal yeah man what's up I get I get
to New York tell him I get to New York tomorrow at one o'clock I have her I have a rental
where we go wherever they watch he's sick yeah
Hey, hey, hey, hey, half.
Matter of fact, y'all can put me on the track.
Put me on the track.
I can rap.
Yeah.
I'm one to, I'm...
Put them on the eight track.
Something of they ain't ever coming out.
And I'm...
Nah, no, no.
Hey, uh, you know, hey, listen, my penmanship is cold, uh, you hear me?
Man, you just told the man.
Hey, I can write with the best of them.
Now, sometimes the delivery ain't what it should be, but I would Jay Z before Jay Z.
Ocho.
You hear me?
Ocho, can you write in cursive?
Who with me?
Oh, you, Ocho.
I asked Ocho.
Yeah. Can I write, can I write in cursive?
I can talk in cursive.
Yeah, I think you could write crazy.
I could talk, I could talk in cursive.
But that joke, hey, that joke of 55 years only still printing.
Who?
You, hey, this is what I do, huh.
Hey, this is what I do, huh.
Oh, no, I got some of the prettiest handwriting in the world.
You hear me?
I used to write love letters to all my girls.
Oh, my goodness.
Yeah, during the day, I used to write love letters.
Matter of fact, Unk, matter of fact,
Hey, chat, if you got a girlfriend,
when the last time, you use your pen
to tell your girl how you feel about her.
Have you ever been able to express yourself on paper like me?
That's what I do, Unk.
I write letters.
I write letters. That's how I get them.
You got to think, if I don't spend no money,
how do I always end up
with some of the most beautiful women in the world?
You know why? Because my pen is phenomenal.
I don't spend no money.
It's a lot of phenomenal.
Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness.
I've never had anyone write me a love letter before.
This is so thoughtful.
Let me give you a chance.
They say, they say, they know why you end up with some of the most beautiful women in the world of the chat.
Say they know.
Why, what it is?
It ain't got nothing to do with me.
Ain't none of my business.
I don't even know why I brought it.
I don't even know why I brought it up.
They ain't done of my business.
So I ain't got that to say.
Hey, hey.
Hey, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,
You know, my, uh, my representation, you know, it, uh, it, it, it, it is, it is, it is, it is, it is, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's to call me in high school, huh?
You didn't go to high school. You went to the trailers behind the high school. Yeah, but I'm, what they call you, Ocho.
I'm trying to, what they call you? They used to call me the plumber. Oh, Lord of mercy.
yeah they used to call me the plumber at high school
ate them some good days on and the fact that it's carried over for so long
I'm in my 50s and they still call me the plumber
now I I it's hard for me to hold on to something for a long time
yeah you hear me yeah yeah it's hard but you know I do what I do in the time
yeah you do I that's what they say
Lord Albert's this man here.
North Carolina Tar Hills have started Bill Belichick era with a two and three record.
And three losses were blowouts against TCU, UCF, and Clemson.
Discontent is building around the program according to a report by Pat Welter, W-R-A-L-News.
It's all starting at the top.
And these boys are being affected, a parent of a current UNC player told Welter,
I don't fault the players.
I fault the leadership.
That created the toxic environment.
There is an individualistic mindset.
The boys are young and they're feeding into it.
It's an unconstructed mess.
There's no culture, no organization.
It's a complete disaster.
According to the report, the players who were recruited by Belichick
and the transfer portal have been given preferential treatment.
Parents have questioned the lack of communication from the coaching staff
and hiring decisions Belichick made in his coaching staff,
including bringing aboard two of his sons
and the son of general manager Mike Lombardi
are being viewed by some players as nepotism.
The lack of experience the coaches have is ridiculous.
A source told Welter.
They've always done that.
Somehow they've convinced us, and it's a lot of us,
because when LeBron James do it, that's all y'all throw.
But y'all see, he got two of his son,
and he brought another son.
Yeah.
So we're the only ones that look at nepotism as a bad thing.
We get in a position to help a family member or a friend.
We won't do it because us look like us,
say, oh, man, that's nepotism.
He shouldn't have get that job, but they do it all the time.
It was reported, if I'm not mistaken, wasn't it reported,
that if he leaves his son would get the job, Steve would get the head coaching job.
Let's look that up.
Right.
they're doing our time coach and waiting i mean that's been going on for a very long time i'm not
sure why they're surprised now i'm not sure why they reports about it now that's the way it's
always been it's been like yes coached look at look at jerry look at jerry's who he got his
daughter he got his son he got all his kids
working for it yeah yeah most coaches hire coaches there's kids and family yeah
yeah that's because he left the job he's the dc at what did the dc at washington
steve i think he was the dc at washington
nepotism is everybody else can do nepotism it's we we look at it as a bad thing
right i like i said my kids don't
don't want to be in the profession that I mean okay fine do your own thing I never
pushed them in any direction I just say would you go to the direction hey I'm
gonna give you a shove just be the best you can possibly be do no time what's the
problem now it seems to be that they're looking at like the people that's in
position they're not qualified to be in said position
qualification only matters to us right that too I wait a
Now, when it comes to the coaches, the people in those traditions have a background in football.
They all have the background.
They've been doing it for a very long time.
Actually, they were doing it at the highest level.
But here's the thing.
So coming down to the, coming down to the collegiate level, they had the experience in being able to coach and teach.
Yes, I don't got no problem with that.
Okay.
Right.
But they started at the top.
They didn't start in coach college or high school and worked their way up.
They got put on the staff because my daddy was the head coach.
Or they got put in position because my dad was the general.
or my dad was the owner.
So it wasn't a working your way up.
And I don't got no problem with that.
I don't have a problem with it.
Just like I don't have a problem.
If LeBron helped his son get on the Lakers or get to their bed, so what?
They do it all the time.
But Coach Belichick got a problem with his hands.
Now, I don't know if this is true.
I'm willing to give the man a couple of years, oh, because it's different now.
Guys come and they go.
You got the transfer point.
and you got this and that.
And it's different.
And because you got this NIL
and you got this collective
and you got all of that,
you got these kids now,
it ain't just about no sneakers.
Hey, you need to break these kids off.
They need to see it.
Yeah, that's it.
That's it.
You got this, you got to play.
Ain't no more waiting three, four years,
don't you get paid.
You know, I can, I prepare your son
for the NFL.
I know what it takes.
I coached at an elite level.
I've won championship.
This is okay.
But in the meantime, if you think I'm going to come to your university and I'm going to wait four years to make money, you're wasting your time.
That ain't happen.
No.
I mean, if I, I ain't going to be, I ain't going to lie.
Hell, if I was, if I was a kid, you come to, you come sitting in the mayor and Porterhouse.
What do you talk about?
Why do you even come here?
You see how I'm living?
You think my grandma going to live like this for another three years?
Man, you watch your damn mind.
Oh, hell no.
I don't know what's true.
Look, this is a report,
and I'm sure it has a lot to do with,
because people,
I'm sure there are some that thought Coach Belichick
was going to pick right up where he left off
in New England, in the heyday.
It takes time.
These are young kids.
They're going to make mistakes.
Even, even, you know, professionals make mistakes.
These kids are going to make mistakes.
But it's different.
We look at them different now, Ocho, you know why?
Because we used to say, Ocho, before,
man they ain't getting paid when you get paid you get looked at at a different level
i don't care how old you are you're making money now yeah 18 19 year old jeremiah smith got
four million dollars uh the williams kid in alabama 1.8 you see uh cars and bet got four
million arch manning making six no no no no no no bro you getting paid you basically
professional and the funny thing about is everybody you just named they're playing
their wage. You got to.
They're playing up to their
wage. They have to.
They have to. You know?
And all it is, all it is, I
call it's a starter pack. It's
a starter pack that what it's going to be like when you get to the
next level. Because the
purse is going to be much bigger than what it
is now. And so are the expectations.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
So are the expectations.
LeBron James said the internet
into a tizzy on Monday when he
posted a cryptic tease for his
second decision on social media.
Ocho, do you have any guesses what this is about?
Tickets that were normally to get in $85 are now $485 for his last home game
for the Lakers.
The last home game, the Lakers played in the regular season in 2026.
Those tickets are going for the cheapest tickets are $485.
Damn.
He put a tease.
I guess, you know, some people say it's a,
It's a business venture.
He has something with Amazon coming out.
Is it retirement?
I don't know.
Yeah, I mean, obviously, I mean,
I don't think he would be discussing
or talking about retirement
or putting out a cryptic tweet
about anything when it comes to retirement
before the season starts.
Whatever it is, I'm sure it's probably business-related.
And you never know when it comes to LeBron.
He has so many things going on.
He has some surprises.
So you probably really don't know.
No, you don't.
You really don't know.
But the internet is going crazy.
it doesn't strike me
or something that he would do
like he's going to let you know
LeBron plays everything close to the vest
he didn't let anybody know
that he was going to leave Cleveland
until he left
he didn't let anybody know
he was going to leave Miami
until he left
he didn't let anybody know
he was leaving
Cleveland again
until he left.
Right.
So this is
very uncharacteristic of him
if it was a
basketball decision.
let's say that keep it basketball related now he could ask that you know he could say like
i got this new company or i'm entering into this agreement with amazon or google or who
microsoft or whatever the case may be that's one thing but business related lebron james
has played it very very close to the best for 20 plus years absolutely absolutely
I got to find me another player
I got to find me another guy to root for
I don't know who it's going to be
who y'all think I should be who
should I get behind
uh to root for
basketball wise
no
that ain't happening
it'll where be
I'm trying to think
who I really like
I like Yokic
I got low
I got a pick between
yoke
Luca and Ant-Man.
Ant-Man.
Ant-Man from the crib.
Damn.
But I've been on Luca.
I've been with Luca for the jump.
And Yoke.
Guess I'm going to have me three.
Oh, yeah.
But everybody's going crazy wanting to know what,
LeBron is going to do.
It's a 10-7 is when he's going to announce it, right?
Tomorrow.
Oh, the day of the 7th.
Oh, tomorrow's the 7th.
Shit.
Man, these days be going so fast.
I don't know what the hell be going on.
Huh?
Yeah, yeah, I'll just count that whole lot.
I'll just see November, December.
I got about, about 85, about 85 more days in 25.
And then your boy, like a scout on a new route.
He out.
Yeah, it is.
There it is.
You save boat.
Come on.
Hey, let me say.
Let me come on, come on back home.
Get a, get a people what they want.
All right, guys, it's time for our final segment of the evening.
It's time for Q and A.
Uh, Triple X, Copsanity said, Ocho broke in, but didn't leave your 5,900.
He didn't.
The least he could have did it.
I mean, I read this story with somebody broke into this lady, broke into this guy's house,
and clean the house.
Wash the clothes, clean the kitchen, wash the dishes and everything.
You broke into my house, steal my merchandise, and they leave my money.
Well, actually, I went in your house and got my merchandise that you refused to send to me.
There's a difference.
And when you break into someone's house, you're wearing all black.
The one thing I don't want is money in my pocket.
All right.
It ain't supposed to be in your pocket.
It's supposed to be in my pocket.
You want to hear my speech?
No, I don't want to hear your speech.
I would hear my money.
Shakura said,
you're not going to see nothing on them cameras,
but teeth and chains.
There it is.
That's how I knew it was him.
Tyler the Great 27 said,
it's hard to get Travis and Bobbed on offense
the game when you use him to guard the number
one receiver worthy and Kelsey on defense.
Well, that's a part of it.
Bishop Bonnet said,
Duvall.
Duvall.
Dent Street said Bengals beat them Jags.
They'd be 5 and 0 if they were to beat the Bengals.
They lost to Jake Browning and the Bengals defense,
two and three.
Who they?
Y'all play Jags?
Yeah, week two.
Oh, y'all beat them, yeah.
Yeah, I think it was week, a week, too long.
Kimberly Norwood, Jr., five intercession through five weeks is unacceptable for a QB.
Yeah, because if he's throwing five, that means he's going to have 17 at the end of the season,
and that's really high.
With the fact, Bengals are better than the Chiefs by default because Browning beat Trevor
Lawrence between, it goes towards Ocho dead.
No.
Joy Lopez says, can we talk about?
about the terrible calls by the reps.
I did think Hollywood Brown on a shot up the sideline,
I thought he got interfered with.
But other than that, I thought the game was, you know,
fairly called okay.
I thought they called one that kept a drive alive.
I thought the receiver from the Jags, Ocho, I thought he slipped.
I didn't think I put him down.
But look, we can go back and dissect and look at calls.
They're not going to get every call right.
They're going to miss some.
They're going to get some.
but it was a great game.
Congratulations to the Jag.
They earned this victory tonight.
Yeah.
Little Ninja 24 said,
what's up,
Unc and Ocho.
Hey,
Ocho,
the sooner you come to terms
with the Bengals being trash,
the better you'll feel about the season.
L.
OL, love y'all.
Hold on.
Hold on.
I feel good regardless.
I don't know what for us.
Because I understand.
I understand why we're not playing well.
I get that.
Because y'all terrible?
So therefore.
Could y'all terrible?
I mean,
share me because I quarter.
You ain't say that by Baltimore yesterday.
Baltimore.
You didn't say that by them.
That's not my team.
Okay.
My Broncos did that thing, did they, oh, Joe.
Okay.
All right.
Here we go.
Okay.
Johnny Depp said Bingel should pick up Milton from the Cowboys
or Mills from the Texas.
Texans for a new backup QB.
I don't think Dallas is moving away on Milton.
They like him.
I can see them, me and the situation.
a hell Mary um at the 60 at the 40 yard line and they bring him in just to throw the hell
Mary because he have that kind of arm talent lady race a big controversy in the chat tonight
the correct ones are calling it a shopping cart or a cart not a horse and buggy from a little
house in the prayer yeah it's a shopping cart what i mean shopping cart i don't know did i
Oh, well, my grandma called it a buggy probably.
Don't put nothing in this buggy.
Man, them old people, they, they ain't pronounced nothing right.
But you knew exactly what they was talking about.
Exactly, yeah.
Fuzzlight year 12 said, oh, oh, chow, can y'all do me a favor?
Invite Yankee players, coaches, and trainers on.
I need that nightcap effect for this parlay.
Boy, they need to do something, man.
giving up i mean they got beat what like 10 nothing 10 one and then they got beat 13 to seven
other night yeah that's what i said erin jones don't worry we'll make macdaniels in philly
as o c he's meant he's not meant to be a head coach come up north we got you yeah
might be on something tino davis casey plays the lions in kc what chance you give kc
a great chance i mean it's from week to week man i mean you're
You never know.
I mean, look how Detroit looked week one against Green Bay.
Look how they looked different since.
Shakur said NFL want to expand and go global, move Bengals to London,
so we never got to watch them and play.
We play when we sleep right through that.
True.
We got jokes, okay, okay.
Lamar Mill says, I noticed you all talk top tier running backs and never mentioned
Alvin Camaro.
What tier is he?
well it just so happened that he on a bad team so it's hard to get the recognition that you deserve
when you're on a bad team even though we know how good you are yeah um jamaugh the singer
when i was eight called my aunt fat she backhand slapped me cut me under my eye i'll be 34 next year
I still got that scar.
Yeah.
People didn't play back then, man.
Drew Brown said,
Yo, Ocanocho,
can y'all build a dream offense?
You both started.
Yeah.
Larry Allen at Guard.
I'm going to take
Jonathan Dogden at one tackle,
Gary Zimmerman at another tackle.
I'm going to put,
who will be my other guard?
I put Zach Martin at one guard
Quentin Nelson at center
you'll put Quentin Nelson at center
I would rest your soul
Mike Webster be my center
quarterback
I'm gonna take seven
I'm a tie in
I'll do Jerry Tio Randy
as my wide receiver
and I'll put Barry as my running back
I like that
Who you got?
Who your team?
Shoot.
I want the same team you just said.
But my receivers is me.
My running back is Walter Payton.
And they got Tio and Randy as my other two receivers.
Okay.
All right.
That concludes this episode of Nightcap,
the Jacksonville Jaguars,
come back late.
They score 21 unanswered.
then get the go-ahead touchdown with 30 seconds remaining
and they clip the Kansas City Chiefs 31 to 28.
Trevor Lawrence was 18 to 25, 221,
one touchdown, one interception, and a fumble.
But he played well when he needed to play well.
The defense of the Jags got a big time interception,
returns at 99 yards,
and they win the ball game on a Monday night
and look very impressive in doing so.
