called against them finishing with 11 penalties for 78 yards. Eight of those infractions came on the offense. The Broncos are the second most penalized offense in the league, having been called for 52 penalties, including declined penalties. Good job, Broncos and all the doctors that worked on. MLB announced today that some of the prominent U.S. sports books will be introducing a maximum wager of $200 on bets focused on individual pitch outcomes.

Those bets will also be prohibited from being included in parlay wagers, which comes on the heels of a federal indictment in which Guardians pitcher Luis Ortiz in Emmanuel Claise for their involvement in sports betting scheme. The two pitches are alleged to have accepted payments related to individual pitch market, specifically whether individual pitches would be resolved in strikes or balls, as well as the velocity of those pitches. According to the indictment, betters won as much as $450,000 by wagering on the outcome of individual pitches in a scheme. But MLB is hoping to curb such manipulation by limiting the amounts that can be wagered on those types of bets. Claude and Ortiz were charged with wild frog conspiracy, honest services, and wild fraud conspiracy, conspiracy to influence sports contests by bribery, and money laundering conspiracy and connection to the scheme to rig individual pitches.

Both could face north of 60 years in prison. God, dope. Hey, um, get that to me again and give me a better understanding. They would tell the guys, say, look, on this pitch is going to, I'm going to throw, oh, such and such, when I get to this number, I'm going to throw a ball. So to start of the inning, I'm going to throw a ball. This pitch, I'm going to throw it at, it's going to be less than 95. So they would go and say, bet, I bet his fifth pitch won't be at least 95.

I bet, I bet this first pitch be a ball. Well, the guys already didn't tell him what he's going to do. And so when they win, they kick them a couple of dollars back. Maybe give them $5,000, $7,000. Hey, it's so crazy when I think about it in the length time of a baseball game, you know, in the middle of a game, having to throw certain pitches. Remember when to throw those pitches.
