Ocho, we had this conversation and I said that's why I believe he's leaving. Coach Saban confirmed a lot of what we were talking about earlier. When it first came out, they didn't even retire. Nick Saban says NIL money and transfer portal influenced his retirement. Saban says, I thought we could have a hell of a team next year.
Starting point is 00:02:00 And then maybe 70%, 80% of the players you talk talk to and all they want to know are two things what's the insurance do i have that i'm going to play because they're thinking about transferring and how much money are you going to pay me saving question whether the new goal for college football players might be to make as much money in college as possible and said that wasn't necessarily wrong i'm not saying it's a bad i'm not saying that's bad but it wasn't what propelled his team to success over the years. The way he sees it, the driver has always been personal development, academic achievement, and preparing for the NFL. Right. I mean, I told you when it first came out, when he said he was going to retire, there were rumblings of him going to retire.
Starting point is 00:02:41 He can't compete. Now it evens the playing field now that NIL has come into play. Let's say there was NIL before, just nobody talked about it. Yeah. Nobody said it. Everything was done under the table.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Yeah. Wouldn't everybody want to go play? Everybody want to go play at Alabama. Because you're going to challenge your charge out the deal not guys driving lambos and ferraris hey so again what comes into play now for me coach saving i believe in your coaching i believe in your system you should believe in your players don't walk away from the game now now that the the playing field is even why do that don't do that because at the
Starting point is 00:03:24 nfl at the nfl level everybody gets a check each week don't they right but you still got to coach them up and get them born prepared to play every saturday it's the same thing but you see it's different now oh because you're not getting the best players see that the problem but see here's the thing in college you always the coach always had the authority because the college coach way made double made way more well the players weren't supposed to be making anything but they're making money see in the nfl you can't talk to a player in the nfl like you can a 17 18 year old kid that's a grown-ass man right a lot of times he's married with kids so you can't mofo him like you can a college kid right you see a college kid is trying to get to where that nfl player already is
Starting point is 00:04:12 so what you're gonna do threaten him he already in nfl what you're gonna say bad things about him i'm already here see college kids they're like man he might say something bad about me he might the scouts come he might say i'm i'm difficult to work, the scouts come, he might say I'm difficult to work with. Right. And see, that's the label. I get that. You know what I'm saying? The thing on me, Shannon's difficult to work with.
Starting point is 00:04:31 And I had a meeting today. I'm not going to get too much in it. I said, you know what? If I say I'm worth $100 and somebody tried to pay me 20, you damn right I'm difficult to work with because I ain't taking that bull job. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:04:43 So that's, see, that's the way they turn it. I say, well, I think I'm worth this. Well, we'll pay you this. Nah, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Well, he's kind of difficult to work with. Oh, really? Because I won't take your low ball off. I'm difficult to work with. Right. You see how they put that?
Starting point is 00:04:58 You see how they can spin it and make you look bad. Damn. Well, damn, I ain't really heard nobody else. And you don't put, they don't put too much thought into that. Well, damn, ain ain't really heard nobody else. And you don't put, if they don't put too much thought into that, well, damn,
Starting point is 00:05:07 ain't nobody else ever said Shannon was difficult to work with. I ain't never, you know, he played 14 years in the league in Baltimore and never, never said anything. His old job at CBS never said anything.
Starting point is 00:05:17 I've never heard anybody say anything bad about Shannon. Right, right, right, right. Oh. You know, they always gonna lowball you now. But the college coaches, who you think they always gonna lowball you now but the college coaches right who you think they gonna ask
Starting point is 00:05:28 they gonna come out hey oh you a college coach okay coach Johnson what's what's a sharp like I mean he's a good player now yeah he he's not the hardest worker you know if I make sure I keep him
Starting point is 00:05:43 keep him eligible you see see, all the time. Come on, damn. When scouts would come, hey, Bill, what's that sharp boy? I'd be sitting in the office because I worked in Coach Davis' office. They didn't know that was me they was asking about. What's that sharp fella like? Coach Davis said, tape's on the desk. Hell, you ain't going to believe anything I tell you anyway.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Right. That's how they do it. So the players now, okay, what you got for your boy? Mm-hmm. It ain't good enough, Ocho. It ain't good enough now. Right. To give me 55,000.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Can you build Mama a house? Because see, back in the day, Ocho, when things were really bad, they told a story one time of what Chip Banks, the great linebacker out of Augusta, Georgia, he ended up playing at USC. They told a story. I don't know if it's true or not.
Starting point is 00:06:44 They said that his mom needed a refrigerator and a washing dryer. Right. But the school that brought the refrigerator and the washing dryer, he didn't go there. They said, well, why didn't he go to the school that brought his mom a washing dryer and a refrigerator? He said the other school built a house around it. So now NIL, that's probably fabrication. But you see, Ocho, somebody going to give me a million dollars. You're going to give me $200,000.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Where do you think I'm going, bro? My family ain't got bread like that. Right. And we talk about Alabama, right? We talk about Alabama. No, we talk about Alabama, right? We talk about Alabama. Alabama has the system, the boosters, and the money to continue to compete even with TIL going on.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Not like Texas. Not like USC. Texas got all money. Right. Okay. I see you going with that. They can't compete like that. But here's the thing, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:07:44 Okay, you can compete. But you're going to give me 350. He's going to give me 750. Where you going, Ocho? You're a 17, 18-year-old kid. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. It makes sense.
Starting point is 00:08:03 Yeah. I know. If I was a five star coming out and I got a choice, yeah, I'm going to the hospital because I'm getting my grandma. I'm getting my family out of this bull job situation.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Right. Ain't no more spam. Ain't no more deli meat. Ain't no more buying the sausages. Ain't no more sandwiches. No, hell no. Ain't no more wish sandwiches. Got two pieces of bread.
Starting point is 00:08:22 Damn, I wish I had some meat in here and close them up oh hell nah no no we about to eat good hey Grady ain't no more cleaning no houses yeah but I just I mean I just just running running from
Starting point is 00:08:38 it running from it like that and just quitting and folding one of the greatest coaches of all time he the greatest college coach the greatest One of the greatest coaches of all time. He the greatest college coach? The greatest college coach of all time. Think about it, Ocho. The two greatest college coaches of all time both coached at the same school. Coach
Starting point is 00:08:53 Bryan and Coach Saban. They got 13 championships. Well, they got 12 between the two of them. Coach Saban won one at LSU. But they got 12 national championships just between two coaches. Man, that's crazy. Coach Saban lost in a title game twice
Starting point is 00:09:09 and he lost in the college football playoffs another two or three times. So theoretically, a man could have 10, 11 championships. Easy. I mean, he lost one on the final second. Deshaun beat him on the final play of the game. Mm-hmm. Damn.
Starting point is 00:09:24 I mean, I understand him. He don't want to compete with game. Damn. I mean, I understand him. He don't want to compete with the NIL. But again, you still are the greatest coach of all time. I would have rolled it out. I would have rolled it out. I'm going to show y'all why I'm the greatest coach of all time. Because even with the NILs in place,
Starting point is 00:09:40 even with players choosing to go to other schools, we still going to get the motherfucking job done. Because god it bitch roll tide yeah but the thing is ocho you could only keep losing so many guys think about how many guys them guy ain't nobody stand to this senior year them red shirt sophomores and them juniors they gone right the calvin reelys the julios the jared judy the rugs the waddles they gone right. Right, right. Look at the running back. And the thing was, Ocho, you got to get on because ain't no guarantee you
Starting point is 00:10:09 gonna have that job because them young boys hungry. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Them young boys hungry. You got to get up out of there because I stay another year. God beat me out there. It's my opportunity. Them DTs that he was rolling with,
Starting point is 00:10:25 the Quinny Williams and the Allens. Yeah. They gone. Them DBs gone. The funny thing, it used to be when all them boys left, it was something coming up right behind them too. Yes! Every time.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Yes. Every time. It was always something coming up right behind him. I want, you know what? But here's the thing to Ocho. Coach Saban can say the one I can guarantee you three things.
Starting point is 00:10:53 You're going to play for an SEC title. You're going to play for a national. You're going to play. You're going to win. You're going to play for the SEC title.
Starting point is 00:11:01 You're going to play for a national championship. I'm going to guarantee you those and I get you those and I'm going to get you to the league they say now that ain't good enough I need you to guarantee me one to two million dollars and can we still play for that because it's like
Starting point is 00:11:20 if I go to school the way I looked at it when I went to Savannah State hell if I'm here for four years I might as well graduate get my degree they say okay if I got to come here and I, if I go to school, the way I looked at it when I went to Savannah State, hell, if I'm here for four years, I might as well graduate, get my degree. They say, OK, if I got to come here and I'm going to go to the NFL, I might as well make as much money as I can while I'm here. Right. So what's the problem, Ocho? If I got to stay three years, I go and make me three, four million dollars to get up out of here. That's good money.
Starting point is 00:11:40 Mama straight. I don't know what's going to happen in the NFL. Right. But I know I already got three, four million. I ain't mad at the kids. Get that money. Is it funny? Everybody think about how many kids, how many... Man, college has been running a racket for the longest time.
Starting point is 00:11:56 See, college, the difference between all, you know what college is? It's the farm system for the NFL. That's all it is. See, the minor league is the baseball farm system for the NFL. That's all it is. See, the minor league is the baseball farm system. That's the baseball farm system. College
Starting point is 00:12:11 is football and basketball farm system. I get to look at you, Joe. You're looking for three, four years. Against the best competition, depending on where you go to school. I got to get this. four years. Right. Against the best competition, depending on where you go to school. Yeah. So now he's playing.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Now he's got like, oh, no, I got to get this. And he can, and he can pay three, four, five,
Starting point is 00:12:33 six, $5 million. Yeah. $5 million for 18 year old. Everybody, everybody, not all of them. Now being in order to command that top dollar,
Starting point is 00:12:42 you got to be that boy. You got to be that boy. We talk about coming in, coming into a college. If you ain't that top dollar, you got to be that boy. You got to be that boy. We talk about coming into a college and changing. Ocho, these kids transferring, they're already getting $150,000 to $200,000. Think about you 17, 18 years old, what Ocho would have did with $150,000 to $200,000.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Man, we was happy to get $30,000. I was happy my grandma sent me $5 to $20. Can you imagine $150,000? Hey, times are different. I was happy my grandma sent me $520. Yeah. Can you imagine $150,000? Yeah. Hey, times are different. I kept me by four or five of them things.
Starting point is 00:13:13 I kept me four or five of them. Ah, yeah, baby. Man, please. Ocho Mike Tyson is set to fight Jake Paul in a boxing match at AT&T Stadium in July. The main event card will take place July 20th on Netflix. Jake Paul has a professional record of 9-1, which includes six knockouts. His most recent fight was a first-round TKO of Ryan Borland last Saturday in Puerto Rico. Ryan Borland, last Saturday in Puerto Rico. Tyson, who turned 58 in June,
Starting point is 00:13:46 will turn 58 in June, won 50 total fights in his career, 44 coming via knockout. He last fought in the exhibition against Roy Jones in 2020, which ended in a draw. Who you taking? What you mean who I'm taking? You got J. Carl or Tyson. Who you taking? What you mean who I'm taking? You got Jake or Tyson.
Starting point is 00:14:08 Who you got? I asked you. I know I want to know who you got. Oh, your man, who you got? You got Jake Paul. Say that. I'm just, I got Mike. Who you got?
Starting point is 00:14:24 You think it's going to go the distance? I don't know. They're probably doing eight rounds, right? No, I think they better. I don't think Mike will. I don't think Mike will. Mike, he's going to be like, what you call him? He's going to be like him and Roy. Mike ain't going to turn up.
Starting point is 00:14:40 No, hell no. You can't turn up. Listen, even at, have you seen Mike hit the mitts there's footage right there's footage from last year or maybe when he was 57 it don't matter how old it was i've seen mike hit the mitts yeah the power ain't went nowhere the power ain't went nowhere no no no no i don't think he will i don't think he's going to turn up. No, he can't. Because of the ring experience that Mike Tyson has, if he was to turn up and approach the fight as if it's one of his fights when he was in his 20s, his 30s, even his 40s,
Starting point is 00:15:14 that can be very, very overwhelming for someone that's even been doing it as long as Jake Paul has, who's taking this shit really serious. What he's done for the sport of boxing, to me, is commendable. Many might laugh about it. Many might say it's a shame What he's done for the sport of boxing to me is commendable. Many might laugh about it. Many might say it's a shame what he's done. He's done a good thing for the sport of boxing. He has. He's made it exciting. He's made it for those that actually like
Starting point is 00:15:35 it because it's hard for those in the actual boxing world for us to get the fights that we want to see. It's hard. Let me ask you a question, Ocho. Yes, sir. If you could make $ ask you a question, Ocho. Yes, sir. If you could make 25 million fighting somebody you can know you could beat. Right. Would you rather take fight for a championship title and make 10 million or
Starting point is 00:15:56 take 25 million and know somebody you could beat? 25. Of course. Thank you. That's what they do. I'll come down to some of the best, some of the best fighters are not able to get the fights that we want to see because it's low is high risk, low reward. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:16:11 High risk, low reward is from on the from the money in. But again, listen, I'm a dangerous guy. You want me to find a dangerous guy? Oh, very, very dangerous. Very dangerous. That's why some of the guys here that I feel i i i feel very comfortable and i'm gonna fight anything can happen but i feel if i make my best that night i got a 90 chance of winning yeah oh i'm taking that 25 million i ain't fighting them i like i like i like what jake has done he's been in the ring with some some some competition but none to
Starting point is 00:16:39 the likes of what mike has been nothing like he's a professional a professional. He's retired, but he still got skills. Listen, even at 57, even at 58, if you watch Mike train, you already know that's hell to deal with. Even for a younger Jake, even for a young Jake who is very polished now
Starting point is 00:16:59 and he's been doing it for a long time and taking it extremely serious. That body shot. Mike is going to hit you with that uppercut and hit you like a long time and taking it extremely serious. I, I can, that body shot, man. He's going to hit you, man. That's your mic. I'm going to hit you with the uppercut and hit you like rock and soccer robot.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Rock and soccer robot. Yeah. You know what the scary part is? The scary part is for me, but Jake, Jake has to be able to fight on the inside because where Mike don't fight going on the inside. You watch your damn mind.
Starting point is 00:17:23 You don't have a choice. Mike fights. Mike don't fight from a distance.'t going on the inside. You watch your damn mind. You don't have a choice. Yes, I do. Mike fights. Mike don't fight from a distance. Mike fights on the inside. Oh, you going to jab him the whole time? I got to keep him up off me. And what's the one thing Mike already do?
Starting point is 00:17:36 Hands right here and coming in. Oh, he coming in. Coming in, coming in. And you know he going to do one thing. He going to double tap. That goddamn hook. That goddamn hook. The hook to the body. Oh, and coming he going to do one thing. He going to double tap. That goddamn hook. That goddamn hook. The hook to the body.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Oh, and coming up to, man, listen. All right, listen. But I'm going to double tap. Listen, I love Jake. You just got to be able to keep your distance, keep that jab out there. And if Mike, I know, I guarantee you, I don't think Mike is going to do it. I don't think Mike is going to apply pressure. If he applies pressure
Starting point is 00:18:05 and he approaches this fight like he's in his 20s or his 30s, it can be overwhelming. He ain't going to do that. It could be overwhelming. I'm excited. I'm excited for Jake, man. I'm excited for Jake. Hell shit! Matter of fact, this would be
Starting point is 00:18:22 perfect. This would be a perfect opportunity for me to get back in the ring too man me and andre ward man i've been calling out war for about a year now man man look here what you think you call him on the phone and say you sorry man knock your ass out i need you for next year nah i'm just knock who out man andre war hit you catch you one time and next day you know we at Super Bowl 60. Nah, I'm good. I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready.
Starting point is 00:18:50 I'm ready, man. Who says you don't? That's a professional. I'm a professional. What the fuck you talking about, man? You're a professional bull jabber. Nah, I ain't bull jabbering. There's one thing you can't play and that's boxing. Alright, no, you can't, you know, you can't play a contact sport no no no no no you can't
Starting point is 00:19:06 I respect them boys I love them you can't play fighting no ain't none of that this is my official call out Andre if you want this smoke let me know we can get on that undercard huh
Starting point is 00:19:22 like Fred Sampo used to say. You gonna be with the undertaker? Huh? You gonna be with the undertaker? That's fine. I'm gonna get in there and do what other people don't want to do.
Starting point is 00:19:34 I'm gonna actually fight. Don't nobody want to fight. I want to fight. I'm gonna get in there. You do realize the throw punches, you open yourself up and take shots, right?
Starting point is 00:19:43 That's fine. That's fine that's fine you ever see somebody punch like this hey I'm long as I'ma keep the phone right here
Starting point is 00:19:50 that's all that matter okay I'ma stay on the phone I'ma stay on the phone every time I'ma let go you gotta tuck the damn elbows in
Starting point is 00:19:58 you gotta tuck the elbow in cause you gonna make your ass pee on yourself it's tucked in I gotta protect my ribs now exactly I gotta protect my ribs now. Exactly. I got to protect my ribs.
Starting point is 00:20:07 Yeah. I'm ready. I'm ready. Matter of fact, it's probably going to happen. Me versus War, you're going to be ringside. You're going to be ringside. Matter of fact, my trunk's going to say nightcap. And you know what I'm going to do?
Starting point is 00:20:22 I'm going to have me a big ass white beach towel because I got a feeling I'm going to have to throw that big old fuck in. Trust me. Trust me, you're not. Trust me, you're not old fuck in. Trust me. Trust me, you not. Trust me, you not. Oh, Lord have mercy. Trust me, you not. Dre, let's get this work, baby. Dre.
Starting point is 00:20:31 Dre, I know you're going to see this. Dre, let's get in that thing and thump, what? Get the people what they want. No, we don't want that. We don't want to see you get hurt. I ain't going to get hurt. I need you, Ojo.
Starting point is 00:20:41 I ain't going to get hurt. I got this, man. You got to believe in me, man. You talk about get hurt. I'm doing, Ocho. I ain't going to get hurt. I got this, man. You got to believe in me, man. You talk about get hurt. I'm doing this for life. Rock here, 10 from limp and metal. No, man. I got him.
Starting point is 00:20:59 It ought to be fun. Dre, I know you're going to see this. Dre, I love you, baby. Ocho, all I ask, if you go back in the ring, don't end up like Nate Robinson. That's all. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Shit, listen, I got knocked down my last fight and got right back up.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Nah, nah, he got knocked down and stayed down. Ain't no problem getting knocked down and getting up. But you can't get planted. You can't get face planted. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. And then you know what's bad? You know it's bad about our last fight. Well, actually, it's not bad. It's good.
Starting point is 00:21:28 I went in there on two weeks of training. You got a good punch there, though, Joe. You got it. You knocked him down. Hey, hey, listen. Man, I was in that thing, throwing them things, boy. You heard me? I was in that throwing them thing.
Starting point is 00:21:39 I got tired that fourth round. Oh, yeah, for sure. Hey, it ain't no timeout. Ain't no nothing. Them arms get heavy. But who you telling? Why you think my arms are by my side? Two weeks.
Starting point is 00:21:53 That's it. I jumped in there two weeks. Imagine if I get three months of training in there, huh? Mm-hmm. Shit. Well, your boy's special now. Wake up with football every morning and listen to my new podcast, NFL daily with Greg Rosenthal,

Starting point is 00:23:22 Kevin Durant um as well Kevin Durant was in there playing with Kevin Durant as well. Kevin Durant was in there, I think, maybe three or four seasons ago. I used to run with Kevin Durant, but the goddamn skin, he too goddamn tall. I was the easy target on Call of Duty. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:23:38 I want to be in Grand Theft Auto. Okay, I don't play Grand Theft Auto, but Grand Theft Auto was good. I sit there when I Theft Auto, but Grand Theft Auto was good. You know, I sit there when I stream, I always watch Sauce. Sauce Gardner and Chase.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Yeah. All the boy, they be playing Grand Theft Auto. I don't understand what's the concept of Grand Theft Auto. Hey, I just want to be the bad guy. Pick up me a couple of girls
Starting point is 00:23:59 and have the shootout. That's all I do. I just feel one time where the dude picked up the chick, picked up the prostitute, had to shoot out with the cop.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Yeah. Hey, sign your boy up. That's all I want to do. I better learn how to start playing. See, I never understood
Starting point is 00:24:18 Grand Theft Auto. I just see people driving around. All the times I done watched Jason, watched Jamar Jason and Sauce play, I ain't seen one shootout.
Starting point is 00:24:27 They always going to buy something or they all sitting in a group talking. Hell no. I want to shoot out. I want to get into it. I want to get out there talking. There ain't no talking. I'm coming out. Y'all already know. I'm coming to steal something. Robbing a bank. I'm robbing something. I'm like, I'm robbing something. Oh, man. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:24:45 I'm leaving with something. Hey, I ain't going to wait. I ain't going to wait if they had it. So, nah, hell nah.
Starting point is 00:24:53 That's what I want to be. Grand Theft. Grand Theft Auto. Hey, I would love that. What that? That GTA 6 now? I don't even know
Starting point is 00:25:01 which one. I don't even know which one they own. 6, Grand Theft 6. They on fire. 6 coming out next year, put your boy in that thing yeah I need, I want a EASC
Starting point is 00:25:13 if I could be on it, it gotta be in the soccer game alright and you know speaking of college duty, you know Nicki Minaj on there is she? yeah, Nicki Minaj got her skin, she's all pink with the pink hair um what's the name i don't understand so so so i didn't call it cod so let me ask you a question so what's the objective and cod yeah it depends on what you play they have different games you can play
Starting point is 00:25:39 i do you play quads you can play you can be four people. And obviously, you know, you, you, you land out the plane, you run, you, you, when you land, you get as much guns and stuff you need. You team up with people. You can buy UAVs to find out what people are. You have scared,
Starting point is 00:25:54 you can scavengers. You have, um, you have bounties. Okay. There's so many different things you could do. Okay. And you got to eliminate the other teams until,
Starting point is 00:26:01 and the map shrinks. It shrinks little by little. And you want to be the last teams until and the map shrinks it shrinks little by little and you want to be the last man standing basically well if you're a team how dare you gonna be last man you want your team to be last your team be the last man standing i say last man standing because i always play solos okay yeah it's fun it's fun have you ever won i've won a few i've won a few i i play rank so it's a little difficult when i play rank but i've won a few i've won a few i i play rank so it's a little difficult when i play rank but i've won a few why are you why are they difficult if you like that because yeah but there are some pros and some people that have been doing this since they were four years
Starting point is 00:26:35 old when you play ranked and they they are they good now i'm not gonna say a lot now fifa now we talk about eafc i'm the best in the world i I'm the greatest. I'm the greatest EFC player in the world. And that's a fact. And I go for anybody in the chat, anybody in the chat that plays EFC, want they ask what? Let me know. Nelly says his era of music was the toughest era of hip hop ever. He claimed it was much harder to sell records of a rapper back then when he was first coming out than at all other times in a genre's history. My music era was the toughest in the hip-hop.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Well, when I put out songs, I had to go against DMX, Jay-Z, Eminem, Lil Wayne, 50, Luda, all of us fighting for one spot. That's a fact. That's a fact that's a fact yeah i'm too man listen then you throw kanye in that mix kanye 50 cent jay-z oh yeah mdmx little way hold on remember when dmx had the concert i think was in africa you remember that he got on the red
Starting point is 00:27:46 overalls yeah yeah it looked like it looked like the whole goddamn world was out there yeah man during that era was very difficult to sell it was very difficult to sell but i think the good thing for nelly is is his sound yeah the sound of his music was its own. So I think that's why he was able to succeed during that time. Man, who ran that era, you think? 50 Cent might have ran that era, huh? 50 and Jay? Oh, man. M wasn't nothing to play with.
Starting point is 00:28:15 Yeah, M wasn't nothing to play with. Listen, 50 had a run, though, man. Oh, yeah, 50 was right. 50 had a run back then, man. had to run though man oh yeah he had to run back then man i mean dmx was like the 90s bled into the 2000 into the yeah m corner of the market m corner of the market in 2000 yeah yeah so you know his music i don't even think today eminem's music from back then he would get canceled but some of the things he rapped about yeah yeah yeah oh yeah you have to obviously you have to like today i mean even ja rule was in there yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah ja ja ja has
Starting point is 00:28:56 some hits i had some hits yeah oh yeah obviously everything oh joe all the stuff if you go back go back and look at sitcoms man arch, Archie Bunker, they saying the N-word. The gentleman, they saying the N-word. The E-R, not no A-G-G-A. E-R. Big time. Yeah. They saying all kind of stuff back there.
Starting point is 00:29:17 Man, you say that one time on TV, now you gone. That show ain't coming on no more. Listen, I think people need to go back and chat if you if i chat i need you to do me a favor speaking of that go back and watch all in the family yeah go back and watch all in the family but a specific episode a specific episode when sammy davis jr was on there and i want you to see how tv was back then yeah i don't have to see. I'll live through it. Man, listen. Well, you'd be like,
Starting point is 00:29:46 what the hell? They used to let this air today? Yes. Talk about cancel? The Jefferson, George Jefferson said, whatever came, whatever came up,
Starting point is 00:29:55 came out. Uh-huh. Oh, listen. And the funny thing about it is TV, I hate to say this, but it was very, it was very interesting.
Starting point is 00:30:04 It was very entertaining back then. Yeah. Yeah. It was very, it was very interesting. It was very entertaining back then. Yeah. Yeah. It was very, very entertaining back then. Very entertaining. Uh, Oh, Joe, what, which is the best piece of the brownie? There's a picture going viral of people selecting their desired brownie brownie piece. Now it depends. It depends on who cooked the goddamn brownie. Because depending on who cooked it, whoever cooked the brownie,
Starting point is 00:30:30 as long as they don't burn the ends or the corners, the corners in the middle is the best. See, I didn't do anything. The corners in the middle is the best. That's what... Now, I'm not... I've probably eaten...
Starting point is 00:30:42 I've probably eaten in the last 15, 20 years, probably two brownies. I've had one in the last seven months. I'm not a brownies guy. Brownie and cupcake. Yeah. I mean, when I was in middle school, in elementary, middle school, mainly elementary school. Right.
Starting point is 00:30:59 Such and such brought some brownies. I don't know damn brownies. Right. Right. Real slice of cake. Listen, the middle. Brownies, I don't know damn brownies. Right. Brave meal slice of cake. Boy, listen. The middle, if someone that knows how to bake and they don't burn the edges and the edges aren't hard, man, the corner in the middle is to die for. I'm the middle guy.
Starting point is 00:31:17 I just heard you say cupcakes. I don't know. Well, you in LA, so I know y'all have Ralph's. But here in Miami, we have Publix. Publix has the best cupcakes. I don't know what they put in them goddamn cupcakes. They so goddamn good. No, Publix got that fried chicken. You ever had Publix fried chicken?
Starting point is 00:31:33 What you know about Publix fried chicken? Man, I go get them four wings and that mac and cheese. What you know about Publix chicken, man? You know I'm from the South, right? Hey, listen. Something about the chicken from the South, right? Hey, listen. Something about the chicken from Publix and they got these cupcakes.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Hey, I don't know what they... Now, I don't know what they find that chicken in. Y'all know... Hey, if y'all from... They got Publix out here? I think Publix might be a South thing. Y'all got Vons and Ralphs. Yeah. And Gelson's. Who? Gelson's. That must be something new. Yeah. And Gelson's. Who? Gelson's. That must be
Starting point is 00:32:05 something new. No. But that public chicken? Yeah. Them wings? Yeah. Hey, and I want them things hot. How long? And they say, well, we just dropped the bat, so it's going to take about Don't worry about it. I'm right here.
Starting point is 00:32:22 I just go walk. I mosey around the aisles and stuff. gonna wait you gonna wait huh I want them coming out I want them coming out the grease they take that machine that thing bring them up out of that thing they bring them up and sit that thing over the top let that grease trip up out of it I don't let too much I'm gonna put them in that styrofoam plate
Starting point is 00:32:38 four wings oh that's classic so I'm like I said if I were to eat brownies and I'm not a brownies guy I want the middle yeah the middle is good man but them goddamn corners them corners
Starting point is 00:32:56 for someone that knows how to bake the right way them corners special special yeah but oh yeah yeah man a woman that can cook... Get all my little bit of money. The funny thing about it is cooking is really not a prerequisite
Starting point is 00:33:16 of mine. I could care less. It ain't a prerequisite of mine. But man, I didn't know she cooked. Just being able to do it is cool. I was asleep. I'm like, damn. She didn't even tell you she was going to cook?
Starting point is 00:33:31 No. Okay. I come downstairs. You making pancakes and waffles and bacon and eggs? Come on, man. Yeah. She better have me around here, bohawk fat. Man, I said, nah, you gotta
Starting point is 00:33:51 cook some oatmeal. She's like, I'm not getting no effing oatmeal. Oh, Joe, check this out. Now it's time for the fan favorite. This is called Nightcap After Dark. Oh, for the fan favorite. This is called Nightcap at the Dark. Ooh! Hello.
Starting point is 00:34:15 Study says Americans are having sex to save on heating bills amid the surging utility costs. Wait a minute. Nah, y'all just nasty. Y'all just doing that. That ain't because no bills. Bring that to me again. Americans are having more sex to save on
Starting point is 00:34:32 heating bills amid surging utility costs. So are they saying you're having sex so you don't have to turn the heat on? Yeah, so you turn the heat. That don't make no sense, huh. Yeah, so you turn the heat. That don't make no sense, huh?
Starting point is 00:34:47 Yeah, you brought me this friction. That friction, you making heat. Oh, Joe, damn. Yeah, but, shoot, sex don't even last that long. Now, two, three minutes, ain't nothing going to be hot. Hey, just imagine you turn up the RPM. Oh, okay. So you're saying, like, sex at 90 miles an hour. Okay, okay, okay. Oh, okay. So you're saying like sex at 90 miles an hour. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Now we're talking. Now you're making a little sense to me. We in Miami, huh? It's already hot. It's already hot, so I'm assuming maybe... Yeah, this might be for the states where it's cold. It must be. It don't matter to me.
Starting point is 00:35:26 I'll turn up RPM, but yeah. I'm still trying to wrap my head around. I've been thinking about Ocho. If you run Ocho, you ain't got to run a mile. You can run in place and break a sweat. Right. Right. Shit.
Starting point is 00:35:41 I don't know about that, bro. Yeah, man. I don't know. I can't do no running. Most hills won't let me run like I used to know about that, boy. I can't do no run and Moe Hill's gonna let me run like I used to, Ocho. Yeah. I hadn't run probably my 15 years, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Wait, can you, if you had to run, let's say you out somewhere and you know when you see one black person run, we don't ask no questions, we all start running i'm gonna be able to get out of the way i will walk briskly so you don't even know if you could run for real i try to avoid places where i might potentially have to run right i probably could
Starting point is 00:36:25 Ochoa I got a bad my knee bad because you know my left leg you know I'm bowlegged in that leg so my knee
Starting point is 00:36:31 I'm kind of like bone on bone in that knee ah I got that from my grandma my grandma was like my grandma was like that same leg and everything
Starting point is 00:36:39 does it bother you does it bother you the bone on bone when it's cold nah it just like if I sit for a long period of time,
Starting point is 00:36:47 like being in a car, for a long... Because most of the time, I'll be the driver. I'm in the back, on the right, because they let me seat. Because one thing, it's already in my file. Mr. Sharp gets in.
Starting point is 00:37:01 He doesn't really like to talk. Please turn the radio off. He don't want like to talk. Please turn the radio off. He don't want to listen to anything. Have the seat all the way to the front. Right, so you can stretch out. So that's in my file. What about on flights? You always got to have, obviously,
Starting point is 00:37:16 I want the aisle seat. And no bulkhead? No bulkhead, correct. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Oh, man, let me tell you this, Ocho. I was on a flight. We coming from Dallas, right? And the flight. Correct. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Oh, man, let me tell you this, Ocho. I was on a flight. Jordan, we coming from Dallas, right? And the flight attendant, Ocho, man,
Starting point is 00:37:30 you know, we didn't fly Delta. Man, and I couldn't win. And Jordan, I don't know what Jordan was doing. But anyway, she ended up letting me use her Wi-Fi on my phone. Oh, hotspot? No, ain't no hotspot. She put her code in. Let me use her Wi-Fi on my phone. Oh, hotspot? No, ain't no hotspot. She put a code in.
Starting point is 00:37:48 Let me use it. Okay. And let me have internet service for a while. Wait, you was on a flight that didn't have Wi-Fi? It had Wi-Fi, but I didn't have the connect. I didn't have a, like I said, I see like Delta. I got a thing already. Boom.
Starting point is 00:38:04 Go to my server. I open, put the thing in, it's gone. Right. didn't have a pay like i said i see like delta i got a thing already pumped in boom go right right go to uh my server i open put the thing in a gun right i was on another i was on the airline that didn't have it like that and i was like she's fumbling around i was like she's like well what's going on i said well i can't i can't i can't get a wi-fi okay that's no problem so she gave you her phone or she gave you the code to use her wi-fi yeah i use her code on my phone so i mean what happened after that because i know i know nothing happened after that i used up i was on the internet browsing the internet that's what happened y'all didn't see you see what what happened? Every time somebody does something for you, nice. Everybody ain't trying to get in the bed with you.
Starting point is 00:38:51 I ain't saying nothing about bed. I'm asking, did you leave it at that? Did you get a phone number that day? No, I did not get a phone number. I left it at that. You want to catch up? She did a nice gesture, and I greatly appreciated that. Well, you should return the gesture with an offer to dinner.
Starting point is 00:39:06 I tell you what I did. I did a video. I did a video for it. I told her she could post it. That's what I did. A video? Yes. No goddamn video.
Starting point is 00:39:18 The lady lets you use your Wi-Fi for four hours. You could have at least took the lady to dinner, man. Ocho, everybody. Lord have mercy mercy is that what we are oh joe i remember the time people used to do stuff out of the kindness of their heart now y'all now y'all want to quit we don't we don't we don't we don't have time to be in kind we trying to find you a we trying to find your wife we trying to find you a significant other when you have people that are perp are blatantly letting you know hey i, I'd like to talk to you, but I'm going to
Starting point is 00:39:45 take initiative since you don't by giving you my Wi-Fi. What do you think she's telling you? She's telling me that she's really nice. She recognizes who I was. She likes what I do on Nightcap with you. She loves Club Shea Shea. She mentioned the cat, the Monique. I just love
Starting point is 00:40:01 your platform. I love what you're doing. That's what she's doing it for so obviously you just so everything just went right over your head huh yeah it went right over my head yeah that's what I do yeah you missed it you missed it I ain't missed nothing well I tell you bro I tell you bro
Starting point is 00:40:18 man what kind of video I told him I man I ain't fooling with y'all man come on man man y'all see i'm glad i ain't growing up but you see man i remember and i i'm i'm i look i've i've stopped um i'm not as friendly i mean i get i get i mean i know some people like when women sit next to me and they try to carry on a conversation. That's the reason why I don't have a whole lot of conversation, because I don't want anything to ever get misconstrued.
Starting point is 00:40:52 Hey, how you doing? Can you do this? Sign an autograph for my son. Say sign an autograph for my husband. OK, fine. I'm done. I don't really do no talking. Right. Because I don't want you to say, well, no no no no no no no and i know it's bad ocho that is like that but society has made me like this you know what you got you got your
Starting point is 00:41:12 freedom on you heard me you got your freedom too listen you got your freedom and i want i want to free you from the shackles of the imprisonment in the way you live in. You got to free yourself. It's okay. If a young lady blatantly is letting you know, listen, I watched all your stuff. You're not even taking a hint. I watched all your stuff
Starting point is 00:41:34 and you didn't even take initiative in understanding what she's trying to do and what she's saying. What she was trying to do, she was nice and I really appreciate that. I said, thank you very much.
Starting point is 00:41:46 I got to send you to one of my classes. You ain't got to see me nothing. You're going to see me. Hey, look here. I said, Ocho. I'm telling, see, that's the Ocho. People don't realize, like, how I'm from point A to point B. She's hitting on you, Unc.
Starting point is 00:42:02 That's okay. She's hitting on you. That's fine. And I appreciate it. That's awful nice of us that she thought I was nice. Hold okay. She's hitting on you. That's fine. And I appreciate it. That's awful nice of us that she thought I was nice. Hold on, hold on, hold on. She thought I was a respectable young man.
Starting point is 00:42:09 You know what? I forgot one thing. Something very important. How she look? One to ten. I wouldn't... Man, look here, man. Ocho.
Starting point is 00:42:18 I don't look at... Is something wrong with your eyes? You wear glasses, don't you? You got glasses on? Ocho. Ocho. Ocho. I'm not trying to meet nobody, bro. I... Cause I'm afraid... is something wrong with your eyes you wear glasses don't you you got glasses on ocho ocho i'm not trying to meet nobody bro i because i'm afraid listen ocho i honestly i'm afraid like i mean i mean you got the damn to say well shannon i'm trying i'm really trying to get at
Starting point is 00:42:39 you in that aspect oh me to approach you so approach you. So you need somebody aggressive. I'm telling you, you got to... No. Hey, ladies, if you're interested in Unc, please slide in the video. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:42:53 I'm good. Ladies, ladies, Unc good. Be aggressive and assertive. No, I'm good. Be aggressive and assertive. Do I like aggressive? Yes. But Unc is good.
Starting point is 00:43:02 Unc is good. Unc ain't... Unc ain't try to... Unc in a good spot. And so my antenna is super, super I'm good. I'm good. I'm trying to get a good spot. And so my antenna is super, super alert right now. So I'm taking honestly, for the most part. No, I'm good. Yeah. Good.
Starting point is 00:43:21 I'm sad. Don't be sad. Oh, Joe. Just can't. I just I just I just can't in the spot that i'm in right now ocho i just can't have any slip-ups i don't want anybody i don't want like i told you ocho if without when like in the last six years seven eight years when somebody tell me don't call me i'm done if you ever tell me don't call you i I'm done. If you ever tell me, don't call you. I'm not only am I not going to call you again. I'm going to erase your number out of my phone.
Starting point is 00:43:51 And I'm going to block that number. Can I ask you a question? Yes. What woman in her right mind would tell you? I mean, women get mad and I know women get mad and they say, I don't care. You tell me, don't call you because you're never going to say Shannon Sharp harassed me. Shannon Sharp ain't harassed. Nothing.
Starting point is 00:44:10 Shannon Sharp deleted you out of his phone and blocked that number. And if you call me from a number I don't recognize, I'm not answering. I can't take a chance, Ocho. I can't. I just stay to myself. I just want to be left alone. I don't bother nobody. I don't talk about nobody stay to myself. I just want to be left alone. I don't bother nobody. I don't talk about nobody.
Starting point is 00:44:26 I mind my business. That's what I want. Are you truly happy living this way? I love it. It's the only thing. It's what I've known. When I was in the league, I spent most of my time by myself. Holidays, a lot of times I spent by myself.
Starting point is 00:44:41 Thanksgiving, Christmas, I didn't go to teammates' house. I'd go to the 7-Eleven. I would get one of those sandwiches. I'd warm it up in the microwave. I'd get it, bring, Christmas, I didn't go to teammates' house. I'd go to the 7-Eleven. I would get one of those sandwiches. I'd warm it up in the microwave. I'd get it, bring it home, warm it up, and that's what I did. I'm okay by myself. I don't want to bother nobody, and I don't want nobody effing with me. That's why I get upset because I don't understand.
Starting point is 00:45:00 A guy that you don't see out on the set, a guy that don't bother nobody, that doesn't talk about nobody right but everybody got so much to say about me but now i understand and i'm cool with that i realized that i got more love and supporters than i got haters but i can't take a chance old show especially with women ain't no coming back from that it ain't no coming back from that. It ain't no coming back from that, Ocho. Yeah. So I would just rather err on the side of caution because what I've learned in today's society, just the mention,
Starting point is 00:45:33 just the mention of impropriety is enough to sway public opinion against you. I don't want to take a chance. I'm good. Damn. I order room service, O Damn. I look through, I order room service, don't you?
Starting point is 00:45:47 I look through that peephole. If it's a female, I take the tray at the door. A woman will not come in my room alone. Not a chance. Zero chance. When they come to do turndown service,
Starting point is 00:46:00 I don't do turndown service. I said, I'm getting ready to leave. Hey, I'll be back at such and such a time. Hey, here's 50 bucks. They'll normally leave. Whatever they're doing.
Starting point is 00:46:10 Come turn down my room. Or if I'm in the room and they say you like turndown service, I'll go sit in the hall. Dang. Elevator come. It's a single woman. No, you can get off. No, ma'am. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:46:26 Mm-mm. I'm good. Well, you ain't bullshit, boy. I go from point A to point B. That's it. Hey, does that tell you? Hey, you better keep up. Ashley, she be jogging. Like, damn damn where you going i mean i i mean like because she's a big joy to carry all the bags so she
Starting point is 00:46:52 i i you know i i understand obviously because the times that we're in is very very difficult but like just i mean just i'm sitting here thinking like the way you have to live because of the times that we're in and that just that makes me sad no don't be sad for me that you can't you can't enjoy yourself i mean you consider it you say you're enjoying yourself but not being able i'm a social butterfly just the fact that you can't enjoy conversation and just, it just engaging with, with just randoms. Like, like I just, I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:47:28 Cause I, I never, I never know what someone is thinking. Damn. So I just, I just, I just read the air on the side of caution. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:40 I, I, I can't now. I can't think about Shannon. I think about sister, brother, kids, mom. I think about that. Then I think about, OK, as Jordan, people that I'm responsible for financially and making sure they stay employed. So I don't think about I'm the last person I think about. I think about everybody else first. That's just that's just the way my grandmother brought me raised me that i think
Starting point is 00:48:06 about other people first i don't really think about i mean i do more for for other people i i mean i buy a watch here or there but if i bought my brought me something you best believe my kids my family have gotten more than what i spent on myself. That's just the way I am. Right. But you have, I just can't, Elcho, I just can't take a chance. I cannot. I cannot. I try to avoid conflict. I'm not arguing with you. I'm not doing it. No.
Starting point is 00:48:36 No. Don't come to my house arguing and all that foolishness because you got to go. But we good, Elcho. You know, me and you, me and you, me and you, we in Vegas. all that foolishness because you got to go. But we good, don't you? You know, me and you, me and you, me and you, we in Vegas. I mean, you ain't want to hang out with your boy,
Starting point is 00:48:52 but it's all good. Yeah, I don't hang out. You know, I don't go out. You don't talk about me. You don't go out. I just, there's nothing. But one, going out is an expense. It's an expense I'm willing that I'm not going to pay because out costs. At home, it don't cost me nothing. But one, going out is an expense. It's an expense I'm willing that I'm not going to pay. Because out costs.
Starting point is 00:49:07 At home, it don't cost me nothing. No, it don't cost me nothing. But sometimes I like to go and let my hair down. I ain't got no hair to let down. No, hell no. Oh, God damn. I don't see how you live like that, man. Shit.
Starting point is 00:49:22 I mean, but I've been like this for so long. Like when i played if if i didn't go if i didn't go out with with burns i didn't go out right when he left i ain't go out i went out one time and i was like man this ain't for me yeah he came back it was life again right when i came like atlanta i used to come up there like my homeboy Bucket come up we go out like I said I haven't been to a strip club since 2007 that's the last time I've been to a strip club
Starting point is 00:49:52 shoot I just I'm just a homebody I just rather be at home like when I go to Atlanta Ocho I don't even cut the TV on unless it's like a Wednesday and I got to watch a game or something and Gil's not going to talk.
Starting point is 00:50:08 Other than that, I just go in my room and I just sit. Just lay down. Well, shoot, we both boring if that's the case because you know I don't want to go out. I don't want to go out past 9pm. And if I'm home, you already know what I'm doing. I'm on that goddamn game. Yeah. No, I just call my daughter and say,
Starting point is 00:50:24 hey, daddy. Why you didn't call? I say, look, I'm doing I'm on that goddamn game yeah no I just I call my daughter say that is my daddy why are you they call I say look I'm in town now you want to go do something you want to go out okay I'm like when I come like my son I got to give obviously I got to give him advance notice because he's married with with my with my grandson but for the most part I just chill I just I just I like being alone I really do do. And I think that's why it's hard because I've been alone for so long. It's just been, for the most part,
Starting point is 00:50:56 me and the dogs for such a long, long time. But it's all good, Ocho. Check this out. A question that has been going viral. If a man proposes to his girlfriend and she says no, is the relationship over? Well, why wouldn't it be over? Isn't the point
Starting point is 00:51:13 of being together to reach an angle? Marriage? Exactly. What are we doing? I ask your hand in marriage and you tell me no. But what are we doing? Shoot, going through the motions? Hey. Going through the motions or the fact that you just want to be able to say, oh, I have somebody, but I really don't see no future with you?
Starting point is 00:51:35 I asked your hand in marriage. You tell me no. Shit. Bye. Yeah. Bye. Next. Next. Oh, he put this on camera? camera oh and she said no on camera was it on camera
Starting point is 00:51:50 because you know sometimes you know how they do it at the game you're trying to be yeah sporting events in the female yeah hold on hold on she said no in public no i guess i guess he uh uh i guess that was just a question that was asked oh oh oh boy wow finna say man come on now come on but again it all comes down to understanding and knowing who you're dealing with understanding and knowing who you're dealing with you already know because but one if you're in a relationship you always ask in the beginning what's your angle yeah what's your angle what are you trying in a relationship, you always ask in the beginning, what's your end goal? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:26 What's your end goal? What are you trying to do? What are you trying to accomplish? What do you see us three, four, five, seven years from now? So you already know what you're dealing with. So he kind of set himself up. If she did say no, based on the question in general, you got to know who you're dealing with. Yeah, but you mess up a good thing. Man, you know what they say,
Starting point is 00:52:46 the number one killer of a woman's sex drive, you know what it is, Ocho? What? Wedding cake. They say that'll kill a woman's sex drive quicker than anything. Yeah, they say wedding cake. Why you say that? You serious? I don't give a damn, man.
Starting point is 00:53:04 Yeah, they say that's the number one killer of sex drive for a woman wedding cake so wait a minute now come on now you got me you got me okay so we just didn't have we ain't gonna have no cake okay because i'm saying i don't know how you gonna pull that one off because that's that's a dream i'm gonna have that gown on have that big old cake have a six tier seven tier cake that's what they say they say we're in cake killer sex drive well listen you just told me about statistics and analytics ain't that we'll be using the nfl now analytics and statistics well i'm gonna use it too and we ain't having no cake.

Starting point is 01:01:21 Right, right, right. Right there, right there. Yeah. See, I can't, I can't, I can't. Yeah, see, I can't share my old war stories. It ain't gonna sit too well now. Nah, nah, you ain't gotta share

It's going to be crazy. Man, man. I got to get out, man. Ochoa, I need to get out. Shoot, if you leave, if you go, I'm going to go too.
Starting point is 01:05:11 Because I don't frequent Houston much. Nah, don't you go. Don't you go. Don't do it, Ochoa. My daughter out there now. Remember my daughter at Prairie View A&M. She at Prairie View? Yeah my daughter at Prairie View A&M? Is she at Prairie View? Yeah, she at Prairie View. And my lad, the only time
Starting point is 01:05:27 I go to Houston is when I work with the Charlo twins. Oh, man. When I'm boxing, that's it. Faye said, hey, Shannon, Ocho, hypothetical question. Jerry Jones wants to adopt you and give you 20% of his wealth, but you have to move to Texas, wear Dallas Cowboys jersey every Sunday and cheer for the Cowboys
Starting point is 01:05:46 all year. Would you accept whose jersey would you pick and ask him for deadbeat dad? I ain't going. Oh yeah, I'm going because guess what? 20% Jerry probably worth about 13 billion. So 20% of that is going to be
Starting point is 01:06:01 10% to be 2. Nah 1.3, 2.6. So 2.6 billion. Do you know what I can do with 2.6 billion as far as the HBCUs and empower my community? You damn right. As a matter of fact, I would decorate, I'm going to buy,
Starting point is 01:06:17 I'm going to pay my car, Cowboys blue and silver. I'm going to wear a Cowboy jersey, not just on Sunday, every damn day. Nah. What you got, Ocho? I ain't going. Now, can we change the team
Starting point is 01:06:33 to the Bengals? Nah, man. Can we change to the Dolphins? Ocho, first of all, ain't nobody, y'all was bad, Ocho. Ain't nobody want to change
Starting point is 01:06:43 helmets and stuff with y'all. Y'all was terrible. Ain't nobody want them Bengal helmets and stuff with y'all. Y'all was terrible. Ain't nobody want them Bengal helmets. They wanted my helmet. I took Carl Pickens on just because I said, bro, I'll take it off your hand. But they wanted my helmet. Everybody wanted my helmet. Everybody wanted my jersey.
Starting point is 01:06:55 Everybody wanted, you know, they wanted the Cowboys and the Raiders were always the first to go. And everybody wanted that star and that Raider. You're not understanding, though. Everybody wanted my helmet and that Raiders. You're not understanding though. Everybody wanted my helmet and my jersey. Yeah. That boy. Yeah. 2.6 billion. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:14 I mean. Yeah, I'm selling out. 2.6 billion, I'm selling out. You know what I can do? You know what I can do for this community? You know what I can do for HBCUs? Yeah. Man, please.
Starting point is 01:07:29 Lanny Ray said to my favorite podcast goat, what song would you choose to be the theme song for your life right now? Good God almighty. Oh, mine is easy. What's yours? The same way I played in the NFL. I did everything my way.
Starting point is 01:07:48 Well, it's my theme for uh not for uh club shea shea nancy hustle grinding all my life grinding all your life grinding on my name yeah okay that's a good one that's a good one yeah my frank sinatra my way my way that's like that just it resonates with everything i've everything about me i've done everything my way i like that uh lady ray you up you up real late because you uh i guess we came on an hour earlier tonight to what we did last night we'll land back no we came on three hours two because we came on yeah we came on three uh dylan paris said how did you you get that uh that intro from nip hold up from nip for nip for club shea shea we paid for it and when are you and ash going to going on camera ash man she done bribed jordan we may have to do a spin-off dating show out of our head. If you're interested in the idea, I am, Ash. Ash, you want to go on a date?
Starting point is 01:08:47 She over here shaking her head. Yeah, she said yeah. No, hell no. Oh, I was going to say, let me know. I can hook Ash up. Since you don't want to listen, I can play matchmaker. No. 4KT said,
Starting point is 01:09:01 do y'all feel disrespected if people only know y'all from nightcap and not football? Hell nah. How they not gonna... You know how young you would have to be to not know us from football and only nightcap? A lot of people know.
Starting point is 01:09:16 I mean, a lot of people. Ocho, for the most part, obviously when they do an introduction, if I'm going somewhere and they do an introduction, they'll mention my stuff. But most of the time, all people talk to me about is club Shea shea and nightcap okay i understand you know do you know how good you have to be in your second career
Starting point is 01:09:33 where people don't even talk about your first career and you were what you were in your first career do you know how good you have to be and what you're currently doing. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Take it as a compliment. Okay, you're right. I like it. I like it that way. I like it that way. Joseph Merlo. Hey, Uncle Nocho. Funko Pop Joe here still waiting
Starting point is 01:09:57 for them Funkos. Question. Who win a push-up contest between you two? Don't matter. I will, both of you man man i've been i ain't gonna lie i ain't gonna lie joseph your boy been slacking your boy been slacking i've been man i haven't mr man stop taking your head jordan shut the hell up uh but i i i just you know look i understand what I have to do in order to, to, to, to grow LaPorte.
Starting point is 01:10:31 I have, you know, and when I, when I get on the phone, when I get on zoom calls and when I go in front of the meetings, this is what I promised to distribute. This is what I promised to sell people. I'm going to show up. If you do this, I'll do that. I give you my word. I'm going to, I'm going to show up. If you do this, I'll do that. I give you my word. I'm going to, I'm going to work harder than what you're going to work, but I expect you to work hard. And so I understand that right now, this is a part of what I've got to do and I've got to make
Starting point is 01:10:57 sacrifices. Right. And I'm willing to sacrifice maybe working out one, two days a week to make sure this thing grows. Because I want to leave something. I don't want my kids and kids. I want to go to three and four generations. I want my grandson, kids, kids to be straight. I won't. If something were to happen to me, I want my sister, my brother and I'm not to have to worry. My mom, not to have to worry. My mom, not to have to worry. My kids, not to have to worry.
Starting point is 01:11:27 Now, I know I got hopefully if they're there and I'm going to have a conversation with all three of my kids in the coming weeks about what I expect. If something were to happen to me, I think this is the time, you know, I got to be realistic. I'm not a I'm not afraid to have conversations like that. I already know how my daughters are going to handle that. I think my son will be a little stronger, but I need to have a conversation of what I expect, even if I'm not around. I need you to represent my last name and that name that I gave you to the highest. You'll always be a representation of me. And I want you to know I have expectations
Starting point is 01:12:10 even when I'm not here. So that's what I do. That's what I do this for. I mean, the will, I'm not even worried about the will. The will of the state is already done. I just alter it every several years because as I accumulate more money, more money gets dispersed.
Starting point is 01:12:33 I've seen people that we thought had it all together, didn't have it together. I made sure that's back together. I just updated every couple of years to make sure who's handling certain things and money's going certain places. ER said, has probably been asked before, but Ocho, I grew up playing NFL Street 3, and you became one of my favorite players as a kid, seeing you on the cover of it. Can you give some insight on how you got chosen to be on the cover? Yeah, and that's a good question.
Starting point is 01:13:03 I forgot what year that game did come out. Because I was on the first cover. Me, Ricky Williams. For real? Yeah, I was on the first cover, yeah. Listen, that was so long ago. I don't remember how it even came about. Obviously, I'm assuming they got in touch with my agent.
Starting point is 01:13:20 I'm assuming that's how it happens. In order for it to happen, and they asked if I wanted to be on the cover.'m assuming and that's a no-brainer i'm not saying no to that and and that that's that that's how it went and funny thing that you bring that up they need to bring nfl street back they need to revamp it again and bring it back because that was a very very fun game very very fun game man that was fun my Sean Hunter as fucking Ocho have you ever burst your dorsal vein during sex Oh Joe that vein is in your penis just in case you didn't know nah nah sir I don't know I just get really red I'm talking about firing your rear. Mm-mm.
Starting point is 01:14:06 That never happened. I'm glad it hasn't. No, Joe, you know, I be chill. I be chill. I be chill. J. Dunn from Akron said, please wish my stepson a happy... Oh, is that the guy? Huh? Oh, oh, my bad, Dale.
Starting point is 01:14:31 My bad, my bad. We, uh... Nah, man. I mean, you might need to get that checked out. You doing all that. I mean, you doing that kind of hunting. Man, please. J-Dub Akron said please wish my stepson Kobe a happy
Starting point is 01:14:50 21st birthday he's finishing up his junior year at Ohio State go Bucks also whatever happened to your boy Leo from SSU keep up the A1 work happy birthday Kobe happy birthday Kobe
Starting point is 01:15:04 21 big 2-1 at ohio state congratulations bro keep working hard keep grinding everybody's proud of you man i don't know what happened to leo um leo didn't come back for my sophomore year and uh i don't know what happened to him um i used to see one of his partners, High C, but I lost touch with him. I hadn't been back to Savannah in any length of time and stayed any length of time. I'm normally in and out. But it's going to be interesting. I'm
Starting point is 01:15:34 going to find him. I'll find him and let y'all know when we get y'all update, we'll have it a little. Upgrade King said, at night, Cavanoccio, success and nothing less. Harder I work, the luckier I get. Are you doing a bottle siding in California? Yes, eventually we are. Um, right now, um, the total wines in California and in Texas and a few other states ask, uh, we got to make sure we can supply them. and so that probably won't happen until like May when we get another bigger shipment coming in but absolutely
Starting point is 01:16:08 absolutely Marcus Blair said I'm a father of five beautiful girls I was shot in the back four times left me paralyzed from waist down I have nights I don't sleep cause of chronic nerve pain I just want to thank y'all for getting me through so many nights
Starting point is 01:16:24 Marcus bro congratulations on the beautiful daughter sleep cause of chronic nerve pain. I just want to thank y'all for getting me through so many nights. Marcus, bro, congratulations on the beautiful daughter. You have a very positive attitude, man, for you to get here. Thank you for getting on here and sharing your story with us. I'm so sorry about what transpired, but just keep
Starting point is 01:16:40 praying to the man above. He's going to watch over you and those beautiful girls and God bless and thanks for watching us, bro. We appreciate all the support that our loving and supportive fans have given us since September since we brought this thing to air. And you guys have never, never left us. So we
Starting point is 01:16:56 greatly appreciate that. Marcus, all the best, bro. D Love said, if you and Ocho were to go to the casino, who would come out winning the most money at what game? Poker, Blackjack, slots, or something else? Man, I ain't playing no slots. I'm either
Starting point is 01:17:11 going to play Blackjack or I'm going to roll a dice. That's all I play. Blackjack is the one where you got to beat the dealer, right? Yeah. That's the only one I know about. You don't know how to play. See how you talking? I can tell you don't know how to play. You you talking i can tell you don't know how to play you're gonna be here no 16 and doing all kind of crazy stuff actually from from my understanding the people that you're playing with they actually
Starting point is 01:17:32 take up for you and they actually help you because they want you to win not at all first of all what what position are you playing you playing first base second base or you playing third base and i don't know man you know i don't gamble well i i'll tell you what i'm gonna come out with the most winning because i'm damn sure not gonna be at his table because he's gonna be taking the dealer's bus card or he's gonna be taking or he's gonna pass and let the dealer bust us to hit us over the head that's see i mean they gotta ask a question that where something i actually know and do i don don't gamble, so I don't know about that stuff. Oh, you don't get so.
Starting point is 01:18:08 So, you know, you don't replay crap when you go. So what you play, what you play when you go to casino. Well, she gamble. I don't gamble. I don't know how to play that shit. Oh, damn. Oh, sure. Yeah, I can't go to casino with you.
