We're going to transition to more upbeat and positive news, even though this isn't positive Ocho. T Higgins appears to be unlikely to play against the Chiefs with a hamstring injury that popped
Starting point is 00:04:33 up last Thursday in practice. Bingo's offense was a mess Sunday and a loss to the Patriots. It was a brutal loss for the Bengals who were only muster 164 passing yards. It's also a brutal development for Higgins whose 2023 season was marred by injuries before getting hit with the franchise tag. His stock continues to fall hard potentially as he hits unrestricted free agency. Will the Bengals ever see a healthy Jamar Chase and T Higgins on the field together? Yeah, yeah, I think so. And it's funny that, you know, you mentioned T. I talked to T last week and I just gave him some advice on what he could do
Starting point is 00:05:11 to get himself healthy as far as him sitting out this game. He was he was in good spirits. He was in good spirits. And he said, man, I can tell you all shit chat. We family, we family. And I don't think T would have an issue with that because what we talked about was positive. I mean, it was positive. And he's going to do all he can to make sure he's out chat, we family, we family. And I don't think T would have an issue with that because what we talked about was positive. I mean, it was positive and he's gonna do all he can
Starting point is 00:05:28 to make sure he's out there, you know, for the Kansas City game. And I told him to be careful. I told him to be careful because there's some of you don't wanna play with. Soft tissue injuries, hamstring, groin, calf. What else soft tissue? You just can't-
Starting point is 00:05:44 Quads, any base soft tissue, calves, ham, groins, adductors. Yeah, I told him, you see what you don't want to do is don't go out there too early. Don't go out there too early. See how it feels in practice. You know, I say take a Wednesday off, take Thursday off. Don't even practice this week. Practice Friday if you got to and then open up and see how you feel. If you feel like you can open up and you how you feel if you feel like you can open up
Starting point is 00:06:08 And you don't feel a little pinch or no or no pull no tug Yeah, no no tug. Well, you good to go you good to go So I think I think us for us the Bengals in general obviously anti I think we don't we gonna be alright for some reason you have to think we were two and six Under Zach Taylor we two and six in week one. The last ten games, two or six week one. So I'm used to us always having a slow start offensively. We always start slow. I think we're going to be all right.
Starting point is 00:06:36 And I bet with us emotionally against New England. Yeah, you did. You did. You got a motion. So so right now, based on what I saw from the Pats, I think the I mean the Pats, I'm talking about what based on what I saw from the Chiefs. Yes. I think the Chiefs might win this one. As much as I love my bangles, I think the Chiefs might win with with might win with
Starting point is 00:06:57 might win this one. If we have Chase plan and we got T plan, all right, that changes everything. That changes the dynamic. Yeah, it's and that's the thing with with because the suddenness in which you need to move, you need to be able to start stop transition, get in and out of that break and get a little pulling on you too huh? Yeah, you were pulling on me too. That was the only thing I say guys look, I don't mind you if I if I if I break free from you, don't tell me. Right. Because I'm pulling the harder.
Starting point is 00:07:28 You make me hurt. You make me tweak my hamstring. And then I'm going to turn around and swing on you. So I go like, so don't don't don't don't don't. That was that was my only rule, Ocho. I look, OK, guys, hold me, try to get off the line to get it, because I know they're gonna come back there and they held the shit out you, oh, excuse me, they held the crap out of you.
Starting point is 00:07:49 What? Back in the 90s, man, they ain't call nothing on your man, it was literally a fight out there. But don't tug my jersey once I break away from you, don't do that, because you know, a lot of times, it's to call what we call like a slingshot move. I did it to a lot of D linimit like they get in front of me. I grab them and then pull myself out,
Starting point is 00:08:08 launch myself in front of them. And now I'm in a position where I could block them. And that's what DBs do. They would tug you. And the next thing you know, they in front of you to lock the ball now. So that was my only thing. And it's tough. And.
Starting point is 00:08:22 I went through something very similar to what T is going through. Signed a contract in 96. It was a three year deal. Maybe the highest paid told me that, hey, Shannon, you know, you play like you play. We're going to tear this contract up. You'll never get to the third year. We will. We're going to extend it. Right. So 97, I come in on Joe 97.
Starting point is 00:08:44 I come in first team,, 97 I come in, first team all pro, 1100 yards, lead the team in receiver. 98, go in, lead the team in touchdowns. First team all pro again. No contract, no, they're not even talking about contract. Come in, I tweak my adductor, probably about 10 days before we got a report, Ocho. Man, that thing wouldn't get healthy for nothing.
Starting point is 00:09:15 And so I deal with that all training camp and I managed to get through it and I was able to get massages, got it worked on and it started to feel better. Get off to a great start, Ocho. I think I got like in the first three or four games, I got like 24, 23, 24 catches. Cookin'
Starting point is 00:09:35 In that fourth game, Ocho, Darion Gordon, who's ex teammate of mine, did what we call teacups. So he catch me like this, I'm running shallow and he tackled pin my arm. Yeah. Broke my collarbone. Oh you hit the ground. He put all that pressure on you too huh? All that. It don't take much pressure to break the collarbone. Right. And I knew it instantly. I knew it instantly. I remember sitting up. I motioned to Greek to come get come Greek. I remember sitting up, Greek, I motioned the Greek to come get, come Greek. I said, Greek is my collarbone. He said, what you think happened Sharpie? I said, Greek,
Starting point is 00:10:10 I broke it. He said, you think so? So he put his, he put his hands up on, up under my pants. Right. Yeah Sharpie, you're like, oh Joe. Yeah. Man, miss the rest of the year. End up in Baltimore. Oh Joe, your guy, Puka Nakua is headed to Ender Desert with a frame PCL. He'll miss at least four games.
Starting point is 00:10:45 He's coming off a record setting rookie campaign in which he caught 105 passes, 1486 yards, established a new NFL rookie record, and he made the Pro Bowl. See the problem? You see the problem we talked about earlier? Puka, last year he had 105 catches, 1400 some yards. One of the greatest rookie seasons for a receiver.
Starting point is 00:11:10 You know, he did that, you know what he ate and did all that? He had McDonald's. I'm not, I'm dead serious. He lived and ate McDonald's last year and had that type of production. Now this year he changed his routine in all seasons. years. He lived in eight McDonald's last year and had that type of production. Now this year he changes routine in all
Starting point is 00:11:32 seasons, started eating healthy, you know, doing all this yoga shit, eating berries and fruits and green stuff. Not not see what happens. You have a historic season last year on my diet. Something that I I swear by. And then you change everything in the off season. Now you're coming to this. I'm not saying that's why you got hurt.
Starting point is 00:11:58 I'm saying it's a goddamn coincidence, but who will be all right when it, whenever you get back, he's going to be all right. That's my guy. Yep. Gerard Mayo spoke about Jacobi Brissette today. He said he actually made some plays with his leg, which is surprising because he's probably, ain't no probably, is, it's a race between him and Jameis
Starting point is 00:12:15 as the slowest black quarterback in the NFL. Well damn. You said that? Is he head coach? You really said that? In the head to head coach. You really said that? Jron Mayo said Jacoby Brissett is probably the slowest black quarterback in the league. Either him or J? Well we know who, it's Lamar and Justin Fields. So in a race in the 40s, who you got? Justin Fields or Lamar? Lamar.
Starting point is 00:12:42 Okay so Lamar first, Justin Fields second Lamar? Oh, Lamar. Easy. So Lamar first, Justin Fields second. Who third? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Well, you saw Geno Smith the other day? Lamar first. Shit. Shit. Justin Fields second.
Starting point is 00:12:55 OK, you want to put Geno third? Yeah, I'll put Geno third. I mean, ain't no other black quarterbacks, huh? That can run? Katelyn, Mahomes, Russ, Bryce Young, it's a bunch of them. He's not fast either. We have 15 of them starting day one so damn they'll have to leave starting the black quarterback. Yeah. So Jane Daniels got a little speed on him. Jane Daniels, yeah. I think he's faster than Gino. Oh yeah yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:23 I think he faster than Gino. Oh yeah yeah. Well one and two we ain't got no doubt about. We got Lamar one, we got Justin Fields two, we got Jaden Daniels three, you got Gino four? Yeah I got Gino four. Everybody else is more pocket passes, they got foot speed, they ain't got that kind of foot speed. They ain't gonna be able to scare you. No hell no. They definitely don't do that.
Starting point is 00:13:48 What you got? Oh no. Malik Willis might get somebody now. Yeah. Jordan love. Okay. And hurts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:58 George Jorga. J J Jalen Jalen kind of slow to that. Jalen is a strident. Oh yeah. You forgot what your old Joe you forgot one. Oh, the man tolin kind of slow to that. Jaylin is a strident. Oh, yeah. You forgot one, Ocho, you forgot one. Oh. The man to take, take 17,000 steps in a hundred yards. Goddamn Kyle Murray.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Kyle Murray. Goddamn Kyle Murray. Hold on, well, Kyle Murray is three then. Jayden Danes got to go down to four. Because Kyle Murray is faster than Jayden. So Lamar, Justin Fields, Kyle Murray, Jay Daniels, Gino. Yeah. All right, there we go.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Anthony Richardson say, I don't know how y'all left me out there. I'm going to take Anthony Richardson. Oh, shoot. I forgot about Ann. Gino got knocked off. Yeah, Gino, Gino. I mean, Gino out of there. Oh, Joe, check this out.
Starting point is 00:14:47 There's a rumor that started earlier that Coach Prime ordered the band not to play the fight song after his son Shadour scored the touchdown. Instead, he allegedly wants Shadour rap song Perfect Timing to be played over the speakers at Folsom Field. CU spokesman, Curtis Snyder, called it cap. Wow, called it cap, Ocho. He said, Yeah. Nobody's ever asked the band to refrain from playing the fight song. After touchdown, the band plays Glory Glory Colorado.
Starting point is 00:15:17 After touchdown, the band plays Fight CU. Has been standard practice for years. When Shadour Sanders scores, the band will wait a moment for a small snippet of Shador's song to play before immediately kicking into Glory Glory, Colorado. This is exactly what happened during the game against North Dakota State. This practice is not unique for Shador. The band will wait a minute after successful field goal
Starting point is 00:15:39 play Alejandro Matas' song before playing Fight CU. Oh Joe, what's going on here? I don't know. That's my first time hearing that. I mean, they I mean, they said it was cat. Is it true? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know much about it, you know, especially something like that
Starting point is 00:15:57 happening. I. That's a little much, huh? You think? Well, there are people out there that dislike time so much that they'll say anything. Just make it shit up, huh? To try to undermine the man. Yes, sir, yes, sir. I mean, that's unnecessary.
Starting point is 00:16:18 That really is. Look. Talking to times, like I said, I know him, I know him very, very well. He's not. This is not new to him. There were people that didn't like him when he played. They thought he was arrogant. They thought he was ostentatious. They thought he was flamboyant. They thought all the things that you think of, but they've always thought that. I mean, they thought Jack Johnson was that. They thought Muhammad Ali was that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:46 For the longest time, you know how we were supposed to be, oh, Joe, just be happy. Be thankful, be glad, be seen, not heard. Yeah. Well, time like, nah, you're going to see me and you're going to hear me. Muhammad Ali say you're going to see me and you hear me. I am the greatest.
Starting point is 00:17:01 Jack Johnson took them all down. So when a black. Successful and talk and you know, Floyd is before it may was the same way. I don't make stuff up. If you, you can, if you want to say, look, he told us the program is going to be turned around and we was going to do X, Y, and Z. And it really hasn't happened. If you want to do that, if you want to talk about the success or lack thereof on the field, by all means. You know, coach, that's fair game.
Starting point is 00:17:34 But y'all, they got to make up stuff to try to make people dislike it. Yeah. That's my only thing. I think if sometimes people can hear that story, you can hear the, you can hear a story like that and just be like, come on now. You really think we can believe that?
Starting point is 00:17:50 Like some people gotta know, sometimes you gotta know better. When certain things are written, you just gotta know. That's one of those things you read and say to yourself, now you know this in bulljive. Oh Joe, that's why they print it. Didn't I just tell you that's why politicians win? They people like being lied to.
Starting point is 00:18:07 They do. Yeah. It's easy perception of the person's reality. And it might not be the truth. Whoa. I'm gonna bring that back man. Yes, I've been waiting on one of these. And it might not be the truth. Whoa. I'm gonna bring that back, man. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:18:28 I've been waiting on one of these. Perception is a person's reality. And it might not be the truth. Because and people a lot of times people don't want it because their reality that's the truth though Joe. If I if. And I'm looking at and I'm thinking like, that's why people lie. Because people believe it, right?
Starting point is 00:18:54 I'm going to say all the time and people say it now, but my grandma said when I was a kid, a lot of care who tell it. Yes, sir. People will repeat a lie and think it makes it the truth. But you know what happened, Ocho? If you tell a lie enough now, somebody's starting to tell that lie for you. Yeah. You won't even have to tell it no more. Yeah. That's why I don't play.
Starting point is 00:19:20 That's why you got to be careful, because people put stuff out there and people like, man man you I heard you bro Now all of a sudden a guy that's as private as I am nothing Now everybody knows what I like to eat where I go what I do who I'm sleeping with where I've been all the Vacation spot a guy that's been private damn near his whole life. Right. Now everybody knows so much about Shannon Sharp. Not from Shannon Sharp, not from Shera Sharp, not from Sterling Sharp,
Starting point is 00:19:55 not from Darrell McCormick, not from Burns, not from anybody. Oh, they had this story about my daughter that, oh, he makes me feel uncomfortable. Now, y'all can say a lot of things about my kids But I wouldn't y'all didn't get nothing out of her right. I know that one that one Ain't happening right nothing Killing tell people she that's not smart You ask a sharp sharp are you any related to that related to that shadow sharp that fell on TV?
Starting point is 00:20:25 Why would you ask that? I didn't ask you who your parents were. She gonna get smart with you. Yeah. So that's the thing, Ocho. People lie because they... Somebody gonna believe it, Ocho. Mm-hmm. Somebody gonna believe it.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Always. Especially if they don't like you. They can't wait. Sometimes people can't wait to hear something negative about you. That's what a term. A sucker born every second. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:20:54 PT Barnum, they had a white elephant. People didn't believe the elephant was white. So guess what they did, Ocho? They went and got a regular elephant and put paint on it. A white elephant. When they had the Elbino elephant, didn't nobody believe it.
Starting point is 00:21:08 Just went and got some house paint and painted it on gray with white. Did y'all see that white elephant? Yeah. Can't get enough football? It was December 2019 when the story blew up. In Green Bay, Wisconsin, former Packers star Kabir Vajabiamila caught up in a bizarre situation. Hey, GB, explaining what he believes led to the arrest of his friends at a children's Christmas play. A family man, former NFL player, devout Christian, now cut off from his family and connected
Starting point is 00:22:30 to a strange arrest. I am going to share my journey of how I went from Christianity to now a Hebrew Israelite. I got swept up in Kabir's journey, but this was only the beginning in a story about faith and football, the search for meaning away from the gridiron and the consequences for everyone involved. You mix homesteading with guns and church and a little bit of the spice of conspiracy theories that we liked, voila, you got straight away.
Starting point is 00:22:58 I felt like I was living in North Korea, but worse if that's possible. Listen to Spiral'd on the iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Listen on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. That's why people lie, because people don't believe it. Ocho, Ocho, Nicki Minaj and other artists have similarly called out Jay-Z, who's the co-producer of the Super Bowl Halftime Show, for selecting Kendrick Lamar as the performer in Super Bowl, what is that, 59? 59 over New Orleans native Lil Wayne blaming rap views as a reason for the supposed snub.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Nicky tweeted, denying a young black man for what is rightfully put him into his game, this game, for no other reason but your ego. Your hatred for Birdman, Drake and Nicky got you punishing Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne the Goat, no, the what's good. Eminem stood firm on having 50 Cent come out. A white man, ish, sad. House, mmm, and Tings, Ninja Things, dang what she said things but I but it's good f them
Starting point is 00:27:12 no loyalty well these ends will keep sunning you I don't know a DTLR gag city DC and laugh my city, DC, and left my G, uh, uh, uh, what else? God F them G you are God D F them. Hey, I know one thing I didn't understand. I didn't understand the position that Jay Z held as far as having something to do with who's picked the perform in the Superbowl. I ain't even know that. Then I heard Niggie say, you know, about the feud. Like now I got to do my homework because I don't really be in the music business of the drama. Is the feud between Jay-Z and Birdman or I don't know if the feud is between Jay-Z and Birdman, not J, not Hov and Weezy.
Starting point is 00:28:05 I know, but really, if that's the case, that mean we shouldn't affect anybody else. It shouldn't affect anybody else. So I don't understand what's going on. So now I got to do my homework and catch up the speed so I have a better understanding to what's going on. So I'm hearing people talk, but I don't know cause I'm on the outside looking in and I got the fear.
Starting point is 00:28:24 It's like having a donut. I need, I need the cream filling. I need the cream filling. So I can understand why Nicky's mad. I need the cream filling. So I can understand why Birdman said I'm going to make them respect me. And that's on Gladys. Now, if you know anything about Birdman, you know, anytime you put someone, Ms. Gladys, Oh, he mean business. Yeah. Like, you know, he don't play when he, boy, oh, he mean business. Yeah, you know, he don't play when he word listen. He might say a whole lot.
Starting point is 00:28:47 But when you put someone misgladens, yeah, you put that on my mama. Yeah, it is up. So take this out, Ocho. Yeah, this is what this what was tweeted. The selection process began with a panel, which includes officials such as NFL director of entertainment, both from NFL production company and the halftime shows director and producer. After long detailed process, the shortlist is handed over to the Superbowl hosting city for a final decision.
Starting point is 00:29:17 Basically, they're putting this at the feet of New Orleans. So it had nothing to do with Jay-Z then? Is that what you're saying? They said, I repeat, the selection process begins with a panel, which includes officials such as NFL director of entertainment, folks from the NFL production company and the halftime shows director and producer.
Starting point is 00:29:42 After a long and detailed process, the shortlist is handed over to the Superbowl's hosting city or final decision. Ah, so the final decision of New Orleans has the final decision. That's what that's what's being reported. Okay. I don't know. I'm not in that meeting. Oh yeah. And most of the time things like this can be reported Also, my I don't I don't understand that. I don't know what's going on
Starting point is 00:30:11 But things like this can be can be reported as smoking mirrors as well now Come on Now this could be smoking mirrors now, you know how they play, you know, okay, you know what? We got to get the heat off him him. Some people figured it out. Some people that's in the industry, they know what's going on. They get it. So they let they let off shots and all of a sudden the report comes out. I can't see it.
Starting point is 00:30:33 It's kind of confusing to me. I can't say you're wrong if you're right now. Come on now. Listen, I love them all. I support them all. I love Nikki. I love Nick. I love Drake. I love Drake. I like, I like, I like uh K-Dot. You know, I like Jay-Z. You know, I don't, I don't have no, I don't have no horse in the race. No. I want everybody to win. Yeah, hell, I'm surprised that they bring uh uh Brandon and Wynton Marcellus and uh what's the, what's the white guy name? What's the uh?
Starting point is 00:31:02 Who? In New Orleans. Everybody know the white guy, Harry Connick Jr. What you know about Harry Connick Jr. Man, I didn't see Harry Connick and got them in our concert. So I'm surprised they didn't have, I mean, cause the, or, uh, uh, tell it like it is Aaron Neville, the Neville brothers, you know, by Aaron Neville, the Neville brothers. You know about Aaron Neville, man? Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:31:31 Yeah, look, I hope Wayne has some part. Look, that's- You heard what I said. You know what? Don't show. You remember Atlanta Super Bowl? We in Atlanta. Ain't got no Gladys Knight, ain't got no Luda,
Starting point is 00:31:44 ain't got no Tia. All that that we got there, ain't got no Gladys Mike ain't got no Luda ain't got no TI all that that we got there ain't got no babyface they got Maroon 5 out there. Well you don't like Maroon 5? Not for Atlanta. got Killer Mike, they got TI, they got Luda. Ain't no way in hell the city of Atlanta chose to go down to room five over that group. Let's come back a little bit. Let's come back a little bit. Super Bowl is in New Orleans, right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Lil Wayne would be the perfect fit for us when we think about someone representing the city of New Orleans at the Super Bowl on one of the biggest stages with a hundred million people watching. Right? Can I ask you a question? Yeah. Who are the people that are attending the Super Bowl? Who are the people that are able to afford the tickets to actually even go to the game to watch the goddamn halftime show? True. Are the true fans of whatever two teams make it, are there true authentic fans that have supported them
Starting point is 00:32:51 throughout the entirety of the season? Are they the ones there? Man, hold on. First of all, them people paying 10, 15,000, $25 ticket. They ain't listening to Kade Kendrick Lamar either. Let's be real. Them sweets going for a million, two, and $3 billion. Let's be real. Them suites going for a million, two and three billion dollars. Let's be all the way real. I love Kendrick Lamar. I think he's unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:33:12 I'm not trying to discredit him, but I'm just saying them people paying that kind of money. Come on now. Let's be real. The cheapest ticket to get in the stadium is probably like three, probably about 4,000. It's a corporate event. The Super Bowl is a floor. It's been a corporate event. And when the big wigs. Have a fucking dick swing contest, who got the most money? And who can what do you call it when when you when you invite people
Starting point is 00:33:41 to show them like, I don't know how to say it, I'm trying to figure out how to say it the right way big companies corporations yeah people put them in sweets get a little next please gotta have a sweet Amazon YouTube yeah and has a bush do you know how much money they're playing to be the official sponsor of the NFL oh yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, I think Crown and Crown. I think Crown Royal hit one of them. They got sweet. Hold on. Who's the Marriott, the official hotel of the NFL? Marriott?
Starting point is 00:34:19 Yeah, you know, they get next amount of they get next amount of teeth. That's who get that. I got I got some Mario points, too Yeah, I'm just saying that's that's how this thing work. See what the NFL did. Oh Joe. Okay The tickets used to be that they were always high but they were reasonable Reasonably found out is that hold on they scalping these tickets and people pay a four thousand five thousand ten thousand Well, if you'll pay that on the black market, you'll play that on the front and the ticket counter.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Yeah. So that's why they jack the prices up. Yeah. I just don't like the fact that I'm thinking Bengals win the Super Bowl, you know, to play the Rams. Yeah. So Bengals fans that went to games from September, October, November, sat in the cold in December, and we make it to the Zubo, they are priced out and can't even go to LA.
Starting point is 00:35:16 No. Get a hotel for a few days, enjoy the festivities. You can't afford it. Cause you know why? You got a four night minimum. Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday night. You know how much those hotels cost? Man, look, boy, they jack the prices up.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Oh, hold on, forget hotel. Have you seen the flight prices when it's time for Superbowl going to that particular city? Hell yeah. I brought my team out here for the Superbowl. Boy. Ash Jordan, makeup. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Hell yeah, I know how much it cost. And guess what? Think about what we got to take down to New Orleans to undertake, to do this tour. How much it's gonna cost? How much them hotels? You saw all the people that we had at the tour. Hold on now. Wait a minute.
Starting point is 00:36:06 By the time we get to New Orleans, by the time we get to February, you got to understand how God. You heard me. Oh, yeah. You know, we in September, right? Yeah. And so by the time we get to February, yeah, and we have to do the tour. Yeah. You think about how much stuff we have to cost, but you don't understand how God
Starting point is 00:36:28 work. God is a loving God. Yeah. God love is a cheerful God. He's a giving God. So by the time we get to February at the rate we go on, we probably won't have to pay for nothing. Well, I hope you like what I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:36:43 I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not telling you what I heard. I'm telling you what I know. I sure hope so. I know what they. Well, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what venue. I don't know what venue we're going to be at. When
Starting point is 00:37:04 I tell you, I don't know what venue I don't know what venue we gonna be at when I tell you that goddamn live show in New Orleans for the beat. Oh we gonna be drunk. Cause we understand the cadence we've got four shows up on that belt. Man listen. We got the cadence we understand the beats of it. We gonna be straight on Joe. Man listen.
Starting point is 00:37:26 Got that, chat, listen to me, chat. Live tour New Orleans, think about it. Now listen to me. We come out, coming to the stage, Unk and Ocho, and we come out to the smoke, right? And the pyrotechnics with the fireworks coming out, and then confetti falls from the ceiling. And then the second line start playing.
Starting point is 00:37:48 Me and uncle by that thing joking. And the whole. We gonna have a band, we gonna have Southern band have that thing crunk. What? They have Southern band coming down the aisles right. Yeah, we covered down right behind them. Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah I am the whole cry everybody up jamming and getting right. We just boy.
Starting point is 00:38:09 What? Yeah. Who else we can put we can put OK, it's gonna be threes a company. Joy go be Jack. It read that. Yeah, he's confident. guy was a good show, but what? Oh, Joe. Yeah, we go get no machine. No, no.
Starting point is 00:38:36 Why we're having they were 18000 for a machine. My smoke machine, it was it was $30. The rate, the one that makes real smoke I'm trying to get some people to come and smoke. I'm trying to get some people to come and smoke. I'm trying to get some people to come and smoke. I'm trying to get some people to come and smoke. I'm trying to get some people to come and
Starting point is 00:38:57 smoke. I'm trying to get some people to come and smoke. I'm trying to get some people to come and smoke. I'm trying to get some people to come and smoke. I'm trying to get some And they'll blow. They'll blow smoke on you, you pass by. We definitely we definitely we definitely spend a little $50,000 on drives. I would do that to do that. We could we could we could probably use some dry ice.
Starting point is 00:39:18 That was $50,000. Oh, you got to put it in some sort of it. It'll make the smoke. I got a homeboy right now. I got a homeboy right now. I got a homeboy right now in New Orleans named Pork Chop and I guarantee you can get that same machine that Ash looked up that cost 15 18000 he can get it to his 4000. I got a homeboy that can go get one for free. I get it on Canal Street.
Starting point is 00:39:39 I got one I got a homeboy that can go get it for free. Just tell him where it's at. Why you bulljacking? La, hey, you name it, that you'll get perfume, watches, cell phones, you know back in the day, the cell phone? Yeah. Oh, lawn, but you'll come back, bro.
Starting point is 00:40:00 Hey, hey, check this out, sharp, I got something for you. I got you a pressure washer. Bro, what I need with a pressure washer? What the, I this out, sharp. I got something for you. I got you a pressure washer. But what I need with a pressure washer, a couple of pressure wash. You know, got edges, you don't got weed eaters. I like, bro, you need to take this to somebody that got a business, a landscape. I ain't doing none of that. Yeah. Hey, man, can you help me out? bro? Why am I gonna buy a weed? Why am I gonna buy a pressure washer? Why am I buying a weed eater?
Starting point is 00:40:32 And I ain't got no grass I'm not using it Come on man. Yeah, no, oh Joe There's a girl that underwent plastic surgery to make her vert to make her a virgin again She wants to restart her body count. Let's take a listen Ocho. I just got a surgery to be a virgin again What does that mean? How's that possible? You got a new hymen? Yeah, and now you're a virgin again. It's been seven days What's the plan? I want to restart my body count to zero. I want to find the right guy.
Starting point is 00:41:09 You will take my virginity. That's the most wholesome thing I've ever heard. It don't work like that though. No! It don't work like that. It don't work like that. So if I got a car, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:24 And I got a car and I dry that thing and put 20,000 miles on it, right? Yeah. And I go to the tire shop and change the motherfucking rims. Them miles still on there. Yeah. Regardless of the tune up, regardless of the oil change, regardless of the new set of tires, regardless of wood I do, even I get a tune up. Yeah, it's still on there. I don't even know why she did that. I want you know, me, I like my women seasoned. No, I don't want you as I don't want.
Starting point is 00:41:56 I want you with a little work done to you. Yeah. You hear me? Not know what I was. Oh, I was. Huh? She's a bit right across coals. You got that? What she tried to do, Ocho, what the, people in the chat, y'all know what I'm talking about. What she tried to do is that you put a bunch of miles on your car and you turn the speedometer back.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Right, you can't do that. No odometer. Yeah, that's the least. Even though you turned it back, you done put 200,000 miles. That thing got four miles on a 70 pickup. You don't try to roll it back. That's because still got to I don't care if you roll it back to zero.
Starting point is 00:42:31 You got 200,000 miles on your ass. Yeah, that car facts don't like that. I mean, people need to stop. Yeah, listen, listen, if you do it, sometimes you make it, you make your bed. You got to lie in it. There will always be someone that is willing. Yeah, there would be, if you do it, sometime you make your bed, you gotta lie in it. There will always be someone that is willing. Yeah. There will always be a man that is willing,
Starting point is 00:42:49 regardless of your past. Yeah, I mean, do we got a little grip to it on Cho? I don't know, I don't know. She might, she might, she might. I mean, I can't put a vine or sausage in a hoagie roll. I mean, but damn, I'd be glad if I could work with it. Yeah, you probably couldn't. Now, I'm assuming she probably heard it
Starting point is 00:43:08 from multiple people at that point where she can't even feel anything at that point. So she felt the surgery or the procedures was necessary. Well, look here, I'll tell you what, Ocho. If I can put my hands in there and clap, she good. Right. I'll take her, you know what I'm saying, Ocho? I'm just saying I'm trying to
Starting point is 00:43:28 take that good enough for me. That's good. That's enough. That's enough grip for your boy. That's it. If I put my hand in. You say if you can put your hand like like think about that chat if you put your hands in there and clap. Yeah, I'm good though. Oh, Joe. She go.
Starting point is 00:43:50 She go talk about. What I'm supposed to do with this right here. What am I doing with this? Hello. Hello. Hello. Anybody home? Hey, man, you richy day. You pulling that bracelet. Somebody got a 1980s class ring in there. I can't do nothing with that.
Starting point is 00:44:08 I can't do nothing with that. No, no, no, I'm good. No, baby. You good. You good. Hold on. What year was the class ring in there? 1986. You find all kinds of things up in there, man. Come on, man. Nah, man. Uh-uh. Uh-uh, dude, dude. Hell, dog. Nah, she wanted it more.
Starting point is 00:44:34 I mean, you run into one like that a couple times, don't you? Every move. Every move. I'm talking about, listen, I'm talking about. Let me get that fadix. Let me get that box open. I'm talking about way back. I'm talking about way back.
Starting point is 00:44:44 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm talking about way back. I don't want to get myself in trouble now. But I'm just about way back. I'm talking about way back. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I took a way back I don't want to get myself in trouble now, but I'm just saying way back. Yeah, I really shouldn't be talking about my past but you know Everyone's why you running the one? Yeah, you gotta put this on you so you don't fall in You know, I'm saying because you fall after you got all this back I ain't lying to you. Oh, well, I'm ready to work like that. Oh to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go.
Starting point is 00:45:24 I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I'm gonna drink all the damn. Hey, all you gotta do, one of those sparks, the red pill. Don't choose the blue one, choose the red one. You right. Oh damn, that was good. Hell, man. Oh hell nah. I'm out of breath. I'm out of breath. I'm out of breath.
Starting point is 00:45:48 It was December 2019 when the story blew up. In Green Bay, Wisconsin, former Packer star Kabir Vajabiamila caught up in a bizarre situation. Hey GB, explaining what he believes led to the arrest of his friends at a children's Christmas play. A family man, former NFL player, devout Christian, now cut off from his family and connected to a strange arrest. I am going to share my journey of how I went from Christianity to now a Hebrew Israelite. I got swept up in Kabir's journey, but this was only the beginning in a story about faith and football, the search for meaning away from the gridiron, and the consequences for everyone involved. You mix homesteading with guns and church and a little bit of the spice of conspiracy

Now it's time for our last segment of the night and it's Q& A.
Starting point is 00:51:11 And Adan, young Corey, what's up guys? Ocho, my wife, kid and myself are in your city for a few days and wanted to pick you up from the airport, but the guy beat me to it. Ocho would have gladly accepted that ride. He'd have moved the car seat over and hopped right in the back. Listen, I would, the fact that y'all here in Miami, I would love and I'd probably invite you to lunch tomorrow. We could do a little dinner, but unfortunately I have to fly to Philly in the morning. If you're here when I get, well shoot, I fly from Philly to Chicago.
Starting point is 00:51:46 I'm back to Chicago again this week. So I'm sorry I miss you guys. I appreciate it. It would have been, it would have been, it would have been dope. It would have been a great experience, a story you would have been able to talk about for years to come.
Starting point is 00:51:57 I'm gonna catch you next time though. Caleb Dennis, imagine having tech issues while reading Nicky Tweet, especially at the end. God damn it. Man, when she be writing all that slang on your iPhone, I have to decipher that. I need time. Ashley gave me this earlier so I can like what she tried, what she actually saying. Yeah, it's just, I don't, I don't, I don't, it's, you got, you got to be a Barb.
Starting point is 00:52:21 You got to be a barb. You got to be a barb to understand that Air underscore Rico if the officer hers him say god damn it. They would been on their best behavior. Oh, I need a Need that of the tea on the T shirt. I'm sure it's coming. I can also be running back. Jordan Mason had five point three yards per carry, one hundred and forty seven yards, 28 rushing attempt and one Russian touchdown tonight. Will Coach Shanahan use Mason and McCaffrey as a two headed monster or give the workload back to see my see my C-Mac is going to get the book. I mean, Kyle does not have a, he doesn't think about it.
Starting point is 00:53:09 They had Mostert, they had Braida, they had all those guys. Jeff, I think Jeff Wilson was there. Mike, I mean Kyle is just like his dad. He doesn't have a problem. It's a nice luxury to have, but we had other running backs. TD getting that work. TD go get that work. Now Mike's not gonna, I mean, and I don't think C-Mac will have a problem when he get blowed. He's more apt to want to come out of the game,
Starting point is 00:53:34 but no, Kyle gonna give C-Mac that work because he's, I mean, look, all the guys you got to be able to catch the ball, and obviously you got to be able to run it, Ocho. And you got to be able to blitz pickup. And obviously you got to be able to run it on your own. And you got to be able to be a blitz pickup. You can't play in that system as you can't because he's not going to let Mike. Mike wouldn't let you play because he's not going to let you get the quarterback hitting the back of the head.
Starting point is 00:53:55 And a lot of times you got to check. You got the rim route or you got, you know, you got the Texas route, which is a little angle or you got to, you know, flat. So you got to be able to do those things. But no, see, uh, see, Michael get that work. Kevin Northwood junior, uh, first of all, RP to the voice, James Earl Jones. My question is who is the player on any team, uh, that would have the
Starting point is 00:54:19 most interceptions this season? Yeah. Who's going to have the most interceptions? Shoot, I'm going to have to go with Trayvon Diggs. Yeah, I do. He'll be left off at. Listen, Trayvon Diggs is damn near like a Sandy Samuels. They gamble at the right time and they always in a position to make a play.
Starting point is 00:54:44 90, chat, chat, there is so many DBS in NFL. Ninety seven percent of DBS played the game not to get beat. Mm hmm. The other small percentage played to make a play. Yeah. They I tell you no lie. Everybody has like here. Yeah, guys like guys like digs and the Santa Samuels. You guys are the game off with a double move. Yeah, because I got to plant that seed that I do it to you.
Starting point is 00:55:12 Yeah, they jump it early. Everything they listen. They looking at alignments. They looking at down in distance. They're looking at your tendencies based on the down in distance and based on we line up. And they know, okay, he two yards outside, outside of numbers. Oh, he had a slant coming. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:29 But if you don't got a slant, he got the curve. It's two by two. Man, man, don't get me started. I talk about that all day. Oh, also, and I got to have had a former teammate that passed last night, Ocho. So my thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and loved ones.
Starting point is 00:55:41 Alan Aldrich, who was a linebacker on our first championship team in 1997. Um, he passed tragically last night. Um, he had a heart attack, uh, rest in peace. Uh, Roscoe, that's what we call it. We call it Roscoe named after the character on Martin. Um, man, it was, man, we had so much fun. The guys I talked to a couple of my teammates earlier today before we got got on the show. But man, whoo, it's tough, man. He younger than me.
Starting point is 00:56:06 He just if I'm not mistaken, just turned 52 was coaching in Houston. Man, it's the sad man. It's sad to see your teammates. See teammates go like that, man. But Roscoe, we gonna hold it down for you, bro. But thoughts and prayers again to his family friends and loved ones Alan Aldrich Gone far far too soon. Hey, I'll just want to tell you my coach and one of your former Bronco teammates passed away Alan Aldrich, he was a great man great high school coach
Starting point is 00:56:35 You could do a shout out just did that didn't even see that know that was coming But I just felt it was the right time we was talking about James Earl Jones Who's the voice of Mufasa, was in probably 100, 200 movies over the course of his long, long story career. One of the great actors of his time or anytime, James Earl Jones passed earlier at the age of 93. Tevin Roberts, hey, you said, understood that Elway calls you T,
Starting point is 00:57:01 but refused to go into detail. Treat us to the story. I've been curious for some years. No. If Kevin, honestly, it's really a long story. You know what? I'm gonna write a book. I should write a book, you know, Joe.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, yeah. I said, no, no, no, no, I should not write no book. Man, look here, my sister just told me, my brother like, hey, you know what? Yeah, that's a good idea.
Starting point is 00:57:29 You should write a book. My sister, everything ain't to be told. Everything shouldn't be said. Some things you take to your grade. Like I said, I will take some of them, but some of them I put in the book. When I don't take to my grave, I put in the book. I share.
Starting point is 00:57:49 But you know what? One day I am gonna share, I'm gonna share that story. Man, tonight was loaded fun, man. This is, now we're getting back to the original nightcap. This is, you know, look, the Olympic, look, that's a is this is, you know, look, the Olympic. Look, that's a little bit more, you know, we got to be a little bit more buttoned up. You know, we're probably on one of the few podcasts that's doing Olympic heavy stuff.
Starting point is 00:58:17 We did a great job. I appreciate the athletes that came on. We're going to try to get some of the swimmers here in the next month or so. But, man, it's been But man, it was great. But football season, football season is where we make our hey-o-cho. This is how we came to be Nightcap. This is how we came to be what we become.
Starting point is 00:58:38 And the people follow us, subscribe to us, listen to us, watch us watch us talk about us This is how this is tonight is Is it is just uh is just what it's about? Yes, sir absolutely, oh Shazam says how was it to work with Martin on the oikos commercial many people online talking about seems lower less energetic We all get older. Even he's even on tour.
Starting point is 00:59:07 I think he's okay. Yeah, he was fine. I mean, it's funny. I don't know if people, how you've been around actors or actresses is like, they could be one way, one moment and the minute it's time to like go, it's go time. Yeah, completely different. It's like some players, some players, they laugh and I was a guy. Oh, I'm joking around up until about 10
Starting point is 00:59:32 minutes before the game. And then because we got, you know, we're gonna go out in the field probably about two or five to kick off to a five, something like that. Two o'clock, Michael called us up. He don't give a thing. We'll say a prayer. Then we go let them horse at the stable. One fifty. Like a blank. Oh, that would be all to be all the bull jive is done with. Right.
Starting point is 01:00:02 It's time to go. Boss lady. Bougie in honor of the very modest. Is that Bougie? Bougie? Who Bougie? Bougie in honor of the very modest, very curtsy, very demure. What are the two personal pleasures you pamper you pamper you with? My two favorites are massages and getting dolled up for a nice meal and for y'all man. Oh Joe, I used to get massages twice. I got massages twice a week or probably 25 years.
Starting point is 01:00:41 25 years. I know I don't spend I don't spend a couple hundred thousand dollars on massages. I know how I know what happened though. So I don't don't get no ideas. No strictly professional even though because the lady that used to work on me on days she would come she would fly she would fly to LA and work on me. Stay in the house. Everything you know, we never had no, I don't do that. I have a very simple rule, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:01:12 Grandfather said, boy, never put your dick in your wallet. It's a good one. And people are like, what, what that mean? When you work at a place, there's probably how many people work at that place? Now go out in the city. How many people, there are more people that's out in the city that work at whatever business you working at because guess what happens when it goes sideways and there's a 90% chance
Starting point is 01:01:40 it's going to go sideways. Right. Then what? Who leaving? Who leaving? I like that one. That's why you got to be careful with gym robances because when it goes sideways and a large part of the wheel, who leaving the gym? I ain't going nowhere. This is my sanctuary. This is my haven. So who going?
Starting point is 01:02:01 going. That's a good one. So. Jesus loves Kobe. I can also thank you all for being consistent. My car broke down the other day. I just want to thank God for your joy and always giving us a laugh when we need one.
Starting point is 01:02:18 Has there ever been a moment when your attitude cost you the game? The game. when your attitude cost you the game. The game. No, hell no. Shit, not the game.
Starting point is 01:02:35 Because look, I want to win. Trust me, guys, I want to y'all know how you see how I'm wired. Winning is everything to me. And as long as we win now, yeah, I would get upset because if I didn't catch a lot of passes and I think I could have helped, but I never went to the coaches and say, that's your job. You say, let coaches coach, players play. Unless you do your job. You ain't gonna have it long if you don't throw me the ball though. I'm gonna keep it real with you. You ain't gonna have it long. Y''t throw me the bottle. Yeah, I'm going to keep it. I'm going to keep it real with you. You have it long.
Starting point is 01:03:07 Y'all know what I can do. Now, I always kept a great attitude because I wanted to see my guys. I like seeing my guys succeed. I like Rod and I like Ed. I wanted them to win. I won when I went to Baltimore to see Codrie and to see Jermaine Lewis and see Patrick Johnson
Starting point is 01:03:24 and all those guys. Now I want, I want, I want to win. And yeah, I want to catch passes too. I want to catch touchdown. I want to get the ball in the end zone because I worked hard, but nah, nah, I ain't never had no bad attitude, no game. I ain't, I ain't wired like that. Hell no.
Starting point is 01:03:41 And I bet, I bet nobody on my team, but I have no bad attitude either. hell no. And I bet nobody on my team better have no bad attitude either. Mason filled in for CMAC and he did quite well. 28 carries, a buck 47 in the touchdown.
