Starting point is 00:03:35 DKNG.com slash promos for deposit wagering and eligibility restrictions terms and responsible gaming resources Most mobile is now legit nationwide 5G network. So I have to take a break from all the jokes here for just a second and put my serious voice on because I would never ever joke about a 5G network that has invested billions in building 5G towers across the country. Not even once, not even if Mr. Boost Mobile himself
Starting point is 00:04:00 asked me to. There's nothing funny about it. Boost Mobile is now a legit nationwide 5G network and also provides coverage across 99% of America. Seriously, visit BoostMobile.com or your nearest Boost Mobile store location to learn more. Boost Mobile Network together with our roaming partners covers 99% of the US population. 5G speed not available in all areas. What's up? Okay. No, he hasn't gone to the bathroom. No, he ain't late this time. He late?
Starting point is 00:04:50 No, he ain't late this time. Oh. All right, joining us on the nightcap set is Adam Pacman Joe. You go by Adam or you go by Pac? I go by Pac. You ain't never called me Adam? But we were told, like, when I was doing this on television, they said he don't want to be called Pacman anymore. I said, Pac. You ain't never called me Adam?
Starting point is 00:05:05 But we were told, like, when I was doing this on television, they say he don't want to be called Pac-Man anymore, and he wants to be called Adam. I say, since when I just saw this end in the barbershop, I'm supposed to go, and everybody was calling him Pac. Ain't nobody ever called him Adam. I don't know what Coach Marvin was thinking about when
Starting point is 00:05:21 he said that to the media. I think that was a sum with him. Had nothing to do do with me. Alright, Pac, you're down here in the Super Bowl. You know the two teams that are in the Super Bowl, the Chiefs and the Eagles. How do you see this matchup playing out? Um, I just, I can't, two teams are competitive, but Andy Reid having two weeks to prepare for this game, it's gonna be hard to beat Andy Reid. Andy Reid having a motherfucker to prepare for this game. It's gonna be hard to be Andy Reid Andy Reid have a motherfucker wide open. I mean the other week when he had they was in the trips formation Yeah to the right single back. I mean single receiver to the
Starting point is 00:05:56 Left side he sent the two over in motion just to see what they was in man And then he ran to look play with the pick out the back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back back out the back. Back, back, back. I don't know how the linebacker gonna make that play. He can't. There's no way. He's not gonna make it. What's up man, you late. No, just fucking. And they sat on this play for the entirety of the game.
Starting point is 00:06:15 They did. Not very, look, and we talked, and I talked about this. There are not very many coaches in that situation is gonna throw the ball because you're gonna stop the clock. If that clock stops, now you give them an opportunity to get the ball back with a chance to go down and tie you or beat you. He says, Patrick, and we saw this last year against the Baltimore Ravens, he said, even Valdez Scanlon, who had dropped
Starting point is 00:06:37 several passes during the regular season, he threw the ball on third down, 30 plus yards down the field. That's the kind of confidence that Andy has in one five. And confidence is well placed. Yes it is. And man, you can look at them last week and look at them four weeks ago when they didn't have Worthy, they didn't have Chukko. Now they all healthy, man.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Worthy is, man. He got better, better. He's fine, bro. Like he is, that's one of the guys that ain't nobody talking about that can be MVP. That's why I told you, remember I told you earlier, you never know who day it's gonna be. When you watch the Chiefs all season long,
Starting point is 00:07:12 every time they play, it's always somebody else day. Like you watch the Bengals play, you know it's gonna be Chase. Half the time, 90% of the time. You watch the Chiefs play, ain't no telling who day it's gonna be. One day it's Worthy, one day it's Kelsey, one day it's Noah Gray. So is Worthy, one day is Kelsey, one day is Noah Gray.
Starting point is 00:07:25 So depending what the Eagles do this game, well, it's gonna be exciting. Yeah, it is. Well, Andy Reid done played him already. He done beat him already one time. So, I don't know, man. I just, I cannot see Andy Reid. Cause if the Chiefs lose, it's Andy Reid's fault.
Starting point is 00:07:43 That's how I'm looking at it. But Andy Reid don't lose again. But Pac, if you Chiefs lose, it's Andy Reid's fault. That's what I'm looking at. Andy Reid don't lose again. But Pac, if you look at it, this defense is different than what they brought to the Sioux Bowl. They got Jaylen Carter. They got, I think Davis was there, yeah he was there the last time they played. But if you look at Zach Braun, who's playing unbelievable. Keeon Mitchell. Yeah Mitchell. There he's playing. Unbelievable. Keeon Mitchell. Yeah, Mitchell. Darius Clay. You got Cooper DeJong.
Starting point is 00:08:05 And it's that two-six. The all-world running back that they have now that can hit his head on the goalpost. And we've seen it from anywhere on the field pack. This is a unique package that the Eagles didn't have last time when they came to the Super Bowl to face the Chiefs than what they have now. Yeah, of course it is. Starting with Saquon, like I see him last night. Like he's definitely the MVP, man. Well, you could run full speed and turn around and jump back with Oak or somebody, bro.
Starting point is 00:08:34 Like that's a holiday. Whoever that, I forget who it was, but you're going to be on that lot. You'll always be seen. Forever. And that offensive line they got is by far the best offensive line that we've seen as a group together. I just don't know if they get down, can they come from behind? Jess, you right Carter, he's unblockable. Coming out of Georgia, everybody was talking about he wouldn't do this, he wouldn't do that, where he should be drafted at. They showed you, he showed you why he should have been drafted the way he got drafted at. He's unblockable but I think with the play action, with the motion and getting Patrick out
Starting point is 00:09:11 on the perimeter, it'll slow down Carter from just peeling his head back and going straight. Yeah. What are you doing here, Puff? What you selling? I ain't selling that. No more out here making my... I ain't selling that. Making your rounds. Making my rounds. Making your rounds. Doing, talking about the Pac-Man Jones show. Different things that I got coming up.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Let me ask you, you played the DB position. Who's the best DB in the NFL right now? Patrick Sir Tony Jr. Oh, who's second? You answered that real fast. Second? Gonzalez? Gonzalez is like three on my list.
Starting point is 00:09:44 You like Ramsey? I like Ramsey. Ramsey's still up there. Like Horn? Horn. J.C. Horn. Oh Gary, Gary, hold on. He's getting a lot of fun. What about Stingley? Stingley is good. Stingley is real good. Yeah. I like the kid from Green Bay. Oh, Yaladimu. Yaladimu. No, no, no. Alexander. Alexander, no. Jair, Jair, Jair. Jair, yeah. Yeah, yeah. I like him.
Starting point is 00:10:08 Man, when you talk about Sir Tan, he is, Man, he just don't, he don't never get sloppy, bruh. His technique is always on point. If he's supposed to be seven yards, he is seven yards, already set. If he press, he already press, like, I watched him probably every play that he played in the last six weeks.
Starting point is 00:10:24 And I had a conversation with VJ. Vijay was my defensive back coach. He was defensive coordinator. And he's like bro, he's just so disciplined. And it's hard to beat if you're real disciplined. I think the last person we seen like that was Revis. But see, that's another reason why he don't get a lot of picks because he's so disciplined. He's gonna be where he's supposed to be.. They get a lot of pigs. Yeah, they normally Chances they gonna gamble they go. Hey, they'll give up a place. Yeah, it's like T buck people You guys T bus a T buck what he said he got more slants than they got go They run the sluggo, they got me.
Starting point is 00:11:05 But I'm thinking of that situation right there, they're gonna run the slant. Yeah. I was greedy too though. I was greedy. Yeah, you were. I was greedy. I was trying to get everything. I was greedy.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Pat, let me ask you this. We see a lot of these guys, and I think the NFL should really bring you in to talk to some of these guys because you have some hardships coming up in the league. What would you tell some of these guys? How do you keep these guys with so much pack? These guys making money that you could buy a franchise for. How do you say guys look I'm not going to tell you not to have fun but guys just be careful. I think the main thing now like when my situation I forgot that this shit was business. Like, you know what I mean? Being young and getting a lot of money at 21,
Starting point is 00:11:49 you forget like, hey, this is a business. And so for the younger guys, I would tell them, hey bro, treat this shit like a business and treat it like you're not getting another contract. And if you kind of treat it like that, it'll help you get to the next contract. I think that's the reason why I played a long time. Like, I never thought like, this is gonna be my last contract. Like, that's how I went into every contract. Like,
Starting point is 00:12:09 this is gonna be my last contract. I got to figure out a way to make these motherfuckers give me a new contract. You get what I'm saying? And nobody never had a problem with me at work. You know, my problem was leaving Magic City at 430 and we playing at 2 p.m. Don't call that thing hungover, but I'm still handling my job though, you know what I mean? Let me ask you a question. If you could go back, if Pac-Man could go back, do it all over again,
Starting point is 00:12:34 what are some of the things Pac would do different? I would've probably had an all-house party. I would've never went out as much because I made myself a little bit too vulnerable. And being vulnerable is not good. probably had an all-house part. I would have never went out as much because I made myself a little bit too vulnerable and being vulnerable is not good. So I would just I would change a lot of things. But the main thing I wouldn't be as vulnerable as I was or accessible as I was to people. I think that that hurt me a lot.
Starting point is 00:13:05 And some of the dumbass decisions I made. I ain't say I didn't make no dumb decisions. Couple of decisions was dumb. But the wings be good. The wings be good though. The wings be good. The magic don't even go. I'm still, I thought it was gonna go. Well, next time you in Atlanta, call Pat.
Starting point is 00:13:18 I'm an error. I don't like to go out nowhere. Hey, I don't got. I'm outside, I'm the people's, I'm the voice of the street. I am the voice of the street. I am the voice of the street. What they say, this ain't that. It's that.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Yeah, it is. It's that. Man, Pac, thanks for joining us, bro. We appreciate that, man. Congratulations on all your success. You in the podcast world, you doing your thing. I check you out from time to time, man. All right.
Starting point is 00:13:40 You doing your thing, bro. Yeah, you doing your thing too. You stay away from them blue pills, though. Yeah, I had to throw that one in there. You got to throw thing, bro. Yeah, you're doing your thing, too. You stay away from them blue pills, though. Yeah. I had to throw that one in there. You got to throw it in there. Scrap. Boy, stay scrap, boy.
Starting point is 00:13:51 Ooh, let me see it. Let me see it. You can't have it. Let me see it. Whoa, whoa, let me get that. Let me see it. Let me see if it works. Let me see it.
Starting point is 00:13:58 It worked. That's right. It worked. It worked. It definitely works. What do they call the end? Roe Sparks. Go to Roe.com slash Micap.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Roe.co. Why you can't give me none? I been there, hold on. You can't get none before me. I been asking for a whole year. Come on, man. All that money you got, you can't get a blue. You can't.
Starting point is 00:14:20 But here's the thing. You can't get one of them? They only work on me. Oh my God. You have to call in and send your information. You're not supposed to take everybody else medicine. You know that Oh that prescribed. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah You're just right the right. Yeah, I might need to go call Nick Pack man Jones ladies gentlemen, thank you for joining us. I appreciate y'all for having me. Oh Joe. I'm gonna catch it in the end We said a pack Thank you for joining us. Appreciate y'all for having me. Appreciate you. Oh Joe, hold on. I'm gonna catch you in a minute, big bro. Appreciate it, Pat.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Now joining us, he was NFL Rookie of the Year. He was a former All-Pro and Pro Bowl player, played years with the San Diego Chargers, and he played one season, if I'm not mistaken, with the Buffalo Bills. Here he is Sean Lights Out Merryman. What up bro? What's up little man? What's up little man? What's up little man? There you go I'm just getting up here. Hey that bear knuckles. I was going to beat his ass years ago. See, this what happened. I promise you.
Starting point is 00:15:26 He said this what happened. I didn't know he was playing around. I didn't know he was playing around. Long time ago. Right. And he said he was going to be biassed. Right. So I stopped.
Starting point is 00:15:35 I was in the charge facility. I walked out. I did a video. They said I was going to choke him when I seen him. Right. But I didn't know Chad there. I thought he was serious. I thought he was serious.
Starting point is 00:15:45 And we were playing them coming up. I said, when we see them, I'm going to do something real bad. Real bad when I catch them. And we ain't caught them. I never caught them. Yeah. It was a fun day. Man, how you doing, Sean? I'm good, man. Doing well. Good. Let me ask you this, man. You see this matchup, obviously, Patrick Mahomes going for the three pete.
Starting point is 00:16:02 The Eagles, Saquon, Jalen Hurts jaylin hertz aj debonte then you go to the defense side of football led by jaylon carter they have zac bron in the middle you got slade you got uh uh mitchell on the outside how do you see this matchup playing out you know it's it's funny because everybody's talking about the obvious right seyquan talking about pat we know what they're gonna do i think man this game really gonna come down to the trenches. Yeah, I think it really gonna come down to Jalen Carter, Chris Jones. I think it's gonna be that kind of matchup because that's really gonna dictate the tempo of the game.
Starting point is 00:16:33 You know, they gonna get there. Seguin's gonna rush for whatever he gonna rush for. I don't think this, back in the old, let anybody rush for 100 yards this year. I don't think so. Yes, but again, so now he got a real obstacle on his hands dealing with that, man. I just think it's gonna be an unsung hero, and they ain't gonna be. Yes, but again, so now he got a real a real obstacle on his hands deal with that man I just think it's gonna be an unsung hero and they're gonna be patching my homes
Starting point is 00:16:48 And they're gonna be it's gonna be somebody like a slay. Mm-hmm, right to step up, you know getting pressures You know in a ball force and I think it's gonna be an unsung hero in this game Do we just we really not talking about I? Want to know about the fight me? Yeah I asked that's what I tell tell know about the fight league. Yeah. I asked, tell the people about what you have going with the fight league, because I'm thinking about joining,
Starting point is 00:17:11 you know, getting the hands wet a little bit. But it's MMA. So, listen, I can kick too. Yeah. Whatever you're going to do. So look, back in the mid 2000s, I wanted to start, I was working with Jay Glazer, I was in his gym. Right.
Starting point is 00:17:24 So I grew up, my family, my uncle's a, right? So I grew up my family had my uncle's professional boxers So I grew up just boxing in PG County Washington DC area anyway, right sugar a Linux Jim was right up the street So I grew up around boxes anyway, and so I was hitting a gym hitting up hitting a miss one day a gym and Jay Glazer Hey look, I see you see you can box if you were tried in a may it'll help you out in football with the hands coming Out the end. So he took me to gym one day and Jay Glaer's here and Randy Couture is sitting on my left. But I'm looking at Jake, I said I'm not fighting Randy
Starting point is 00:17:49 Couture today. That's not happening. But what I saw, man, I started training with these guys, you know, every off season, Chuck Liddell, T.D. Ortiz, all these guys I got a chance to just be around and train with. And I fell in love with the sport. So I ended up launching Lights Out Extreme Fighting, which we looked at, man, as one of the feeders to UFC. We sent six guys to the UFC last year. So basically, your minor league system to the UFC. Yeah. And I think that the word minor league, nobody's going to be bigger than the UFC. Right. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:18:16 There's going to be people that are going to cry. They got too much of a head start. They got too much of a head start. And when you think of MMA, you already think of the UFC no matter where you at. But what you can do is do some things that they may not be looking at. We got a bunch of, we got chips in the gloves that can measure speed, power, punch, impact, all that's like a lot of tech, a lot of AI.
Starting point is 00:18:33 And now to just launch my streaming service, Lights Out Sports TV, that we carry a lot of combat sports. We got a big fight in LA this Friday, in Long Beach for Lights Out Extreme fight. So what you can do, man, because we're able to pivot pivot we can do some stuff and if they like it, right? It's if they like it they adopted and that's that's the whole goal of that. We don't we don't try to compete We're just trying to create let me ask you this you hear miles Garrett says look, I appreciate everything Cleveland They made my dream come true first overall draft pick
Starting point is 00:19:03 Defensive player of the year all pro pro bowl. I believe I've done all I possibly can, but at the end of the day I want to compete for a championship. And I don't believe I can do that in Cleveland. What do you, do you have a problem with him? Like I want to go compete for a title. No, and the Browns organization got to respect it. He's giving you everything he possibly can from his standpoint. He's done everything he can. Now you get to a point as an organization that they're not doing what's best in your interest now.
Starting point is 00:19:31 Because after you make enough money, you already know what's the best in your position. You already got the Pro Bowls, all pros, you already got the accolades. The only thing now to do is get a championship. And if you don't have somebody out there working with you to put you in the best situation, say, hey, man, we got to get this. We got to get this. The biggest regret I have my career is, is not winning a ring. That's, that's the biggest one.
Starting point is 00:19:54 In all the teams we had, we should at least got one. We should have got one. And so, you know, I'm sitting up in, I'm, you know, I remember going to NFL Network, going to NFL Network, and I'm sitting up there on the panel, got Marshall, everybody was up there, and they got these rings on it. And I'm sitting there, my heart beating through my chest. Because you've missed that part, so I don't blame Miles Garrett at all for wanting to get out of an organization that hasn't put him in the best situation to be a champion. I like it. What's next? The year just started.
Starting point is 00:20:25 We only in February. We only in February. What's next for Sean Merriman in 2025? We got this big fight. We had the East West Shrine. Congratulations too, bro. Appreciate it. Yeah, congratulations to the East West Shrine.
Starting point is 00:20:37 So NFL Network had the game for the East West Shrine Bowl. Lights Out Sports, if you buy Network, we had the practices. There was the first time they ever did the practices. You know, we want to get more college conferences. That's coming down the pipeline. We're gonna announce this soon. But also too, man, bringing some of these guys
Starting point is 00:20:52 and trying to get more former guys into come and fight. You know, some of these guys have been playing three, four years, pissed off, they got cut a few times, you know, been in a bad situation. Man, that bad, hey man, Lights Out, bro. Man, you look here. If they had been fighting hey man, life's not a problem. Man, you look here. If they ain't been fighting, man, it's hard to all of a sudden just get into fighting when you ain't been fighting.
Starting point is 00:21:10 No it ain't. It's pretty easy. Nah, but one thing I'll say, you know, we don't walk in with two left feet, right? Automatically. Well, Greg Hardy, help Greg Hardy. No, he need more to help than that. He need a lot of, yeah, it's too late to help. It's too late.
Starting point is 00:21:23 Yeah. Hit you. Hey, y'all wrong, man. It's too late. Yeah. Hit you. Hey, y'all wrong, man. That's y'all wrong. I wasn't going to say, yeah, it's too late. I was just going to leave it at that. But see, that's what, you know, fighting. Right.
Starting point is 00:21:36 That's a different type of fight. Because street fight, you know, okay, I'm just worried about a guy punching me. In the ring, guy can punch you, elbow you, knee you, kick you, all that. It's actually, believe it or not, man, better for us because we can, we got explosion. Yeah. A lot of these guys don't got that just naturally being able to explode and do some of these things. And people talk about Greg Hardy had a nice little run. He had a night and then he fell off. I think the next champ is going to be one of these guys who played three, four years. Right. You know, built tall, six, three, six, four, or six, like Adesanya.
Starting point is 00:22:08 Like, yes. Yes. Johnny. Johnny Jones. Johnny Jones. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. We had a guy that was built like him. He just played for the Chargers, played for a couple of teams.
Starting point is 00:22:16 I think the next champion going to come from a guy that's played three, four years, didn't make all the money he wanted to, didn't get his shot, got a chip on his shoulder, and it's going to be the next champ. That's why things don't happen. I like it. What type of mindset do you have to have?
Starting point is 00:22:31 Because look, if you go back and like the boxers, most of the boxers way back when, they came from poverty. I ain't talking about, you know, I'm talking about poverty. I'm talking about they were barely, and they had to do things. And they're like, what's up? You want me to beat somebody else?
Starting point is 00:22:47 And I don't go to jail for sign me up. Right. And so what type of mindset does a person have to have to get into the MMX? I think she she said we're so used to running in other people football. People think about the same way. Yes. And we do. You got to have a different. Like I tell people, I say, you got to be sick to run that way. And that way, you gotta have a different... Like, I tell people, I say, you gotta be sick to run that way and that way, and two people collide at full speed. And then do it 50 times.
Starting point is 00:23:09 Yes. Get up the next day, get your ice cold toe, and then take a day off and then do it again. And then most people, so you're talking like that, but there's people out there that look at us the same way that we look at them. There's people out there, man, like these fighters that come, you know, guys that come from NFL or NBA or whatever it is, they got that mindset, they can do it.
Starting point is 00:23:31 They just haven't, they don't know the path. Okay. You know what I'm saying? Like, Chad, when there's celebrity stuff, there's stuff you can go and promote, but if you really go trying to do, you gotta find the right gym, right? The right coaches, the right team.
Starting point is 00:23:43 And a lot of guys are doing it, and that's what we've been doing over the Lights Out Extreme fight. We had three guys that were kind of transitioning into this world to go out. I think it's going to be the next champs. Is it expensive to get into MMA? Not really, not really, but it's expensive if you get with the wrong people. Because they around trying to snatch you. That's one thing about this big combat sports now.
Starting point is 00:24:01 You got a bunch of bad people in the business. But for the most part, man that I think the next heavyweight or light heavyweight champ can come from the NFL or former NFL. Sean lightside Merriman bro thanks for stopping by with us. Thank y'all man appreciate it. That man the commentary on the game who you got winning the game? I'm not going against the Chiefs ever again. I think the whole think the whole, I think 90% of the country grew for the, for the Eagles. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:27 I'm not going against the Chiefs ever again. You're not betting against my homies. I'm not betting against him and another people that's on the field like the 12th man. Right. I mean. Oh, the 12th man? I ain't talking about the Seahawks, see.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. I'm not cheating. I like it. All right, brother. Appreciate y'all man. Thanks man. All right.

Starting point is 00:28:09 football today on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts and you will be glad you did. Hope you could join us for the post season run. Oh Joe, Chip Kelly signed to be the OC of the Oakland Raiders. He becomes the highest paid offensive coordinator in NFL here. Whoa, whoa, whoa, when did that happen? Three weeks ago. Chip will make six million per year. Will Chip be able to jumpstart the Raiders offense?
Starting point is 00:28:48 Jumpstart the Raiders offense with what quarterback? Let's start there. They might go and try to get Marcus Mariota. That's who he had, remember he had the Oregon. Ah. And he pulled Heisman Trophy. He was the backup. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:59 In Washington. Okay. Now, listen, I like the Raiders receiving corps. I like where they have a receiver. Now, if you go get Mariota, who's shown he can lead a team, you know, he has a good arm, he's a dual threat quarterback, he can run the ball as well. And I got cursed out not long ago. Matt Crosby, I know you're probably going to see this.
Starting point is 00:29:17 And right now, I'm on your side. Depending on who you get at the quarterback position, you guys might have a chance. Matt Crosby sent me a DM. He was mad. About what? I heard everything you said about us not having a quarterback that we're not going to be able to do anything. Max, I'm on your side now.
Starting point is 00:29:31 I love you. Depending on who you get at quarterback, having Chip Kelly, it's going to be a great thing for you guys. I love you and I don't want to fight and I don't want no problem. What was he upset about? They're not going to do anything with a quarterback. Without one? No. I mean, I think he tried to argue the fact
Starting point is 00:29:46 that they could do something without having to one. You had 112, 113 catches. What'd that get you? Four wins. See, I didn't even bring up stats. No, I'm just saying. So yeah, you get in the v- Yes. We've seen a lot of players play with bad quarterbacks
Starting point is 00:29:59 get numbers. Right. But at the end of the day, OK, what are those numbers leading to something? Right, right. You're right. You're right. You're right. So Max, Unx said it. So you want to get mad this time, send it to Unx. There's nothing to get mad about. We're just stating facts. Facts. Right. I mean, a bunch of numbers, they need to be something. They need to be like social security number. They need to be password. Numbers are numbers.
Starting point is 00:30:20 What do those numbers lead to? Right. What are they getting out of those numbers? And so you're right. they need a quarterback. They need a couple of other things also. But I definitely think a quarterback, but do you like this hire? I like to hire, yes. Chip Kelly, his creativity and what he's been able to do throughout his entire,
Starting point is 00:30:36 he's had some bad reps in places he's been, but I know what he can do offensively from an offensive standpoint, if you get a quarterback. That's the key. That's the deciding factor on their success. Well, the thing is that he worked really well last year. He's offensively coordinated Ohio State Buckeyes. They won the national championship.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Maybe he's better suited in this role as opposed to being a head coach. Right. Because, you know, he wants to, now he just has to worry about getting the offense ready to play. Right. He's not in charge of scheduling. He's not charged with conditioning. He's not really in charge of anything except the X's and O's and getting the
Starting point is 00:31:07 offense to perform at an extremely high level. So I like this move also. Obviously with Pete Carroll being there, no problem with Pete going back. People are surprised that, well, Pete going back, why didn't he get Coach Belichick? Nah, Belichick ain't going there. Why not? Who the quarterback? Hell, who the quarterback in North Carolina? I think Belichick took that job in North Carolina to show the GMs and the coaches that I can be a leader of young men too, despite what y'all may think about my old ways, my old coaching ways. Let me show you I can resonate with the young folk as well and coach at the collegiate level and then bring it on out Well, he gonna get he gonna get a job if six Super Bowls and nine ten Super Bowl appearances ain't enough No, I don't know what it is. Yeah
Starting point is 00:31:55 You know how it is What have you done for me lately? Yeah Oh Joe Cooper Cup to be traded by the Rams. Rams are willing to eat some of the contract to facilitate a trade. Where will he land? You know what? There's so many good places where Cooper Cup can go. He can do so many things. So many teams can benefit from having a receiver like Cooper Cup. He can play in the slot. He can play on the outside. He's an elite route runner still to this day. Obviously the opportunities decreased tremendously once Pukin Nakua got there.
Starting point is 00:32:26 So I'm not sure where he can go, but I hope the place he does go, he's able to continue to contribute and get the opportunities he deserves as a receiver that he is. So he still has those wheels, you know, they're not flat just yet. So I'm not sure where he can go.
Starting point is 00:32:41 You look at the landscape of the NFL and who could use half number one, number two receiver like Cooper Cup. What happens with T Higgins if he doesn't stay, you know, bringing a Cooper Cup who can who can? No, no, no, I don't. I don't like that because Cooper Cup would take some to catch away from from from Chase because they kind of do the same things. Yeah, I kind of like I kind of he needs to be, he's 49ers.
Starting point is 00:33:06 He's more of a slot. 49ers. But they just got Pierce all. Ah. What do you think? I just think, I, me personally, I think he needs to go somewhere where they look, can he play outside the numbers? Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:33:19 He's more efficient, effective inside. Inside the numbers. So he needs to go somewhere that has a similar situation. I'm trying to let him. Carolina? Carolina? Who was the West Coast system? Oh.
Starting point is 00:33:33 Green Bay runs it, but they got, they got you. Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. You good? I'm just making sure you good. You sure? What really going on? I'm making sure he good. I'm good, man.
Starting point is 00:33:51 I've been good. Okay. What we talking about? What you want to talk about? Whatever you want to talk about. Let's talk about where you been? Where I been? Why haven't I seen you on IG lately?
Starting point is 00:34:00 You just coming back. You was off IG for a while. All right, so this, look, I ain't going to lie to you. This is what happened. Scared? You got shadow bands? No, I ain't get shadow bands. They banned your ass for real? I got fat.
Starting point is 00:34:13 I was like 308. For real? What the hell you was doing? Depressed. Depressed about what? My knee was messed up, so I was six weeks, I couldn't move, I was just sitting there eating. Just eating. So I went to go tie my shoe, when I knew I was messed up, so I was six weeks. I couldn't move. I was just sitting there eating. Just eating.
Starting point is 00:34:28 So I went to go tie my shoe when I knew I was real fat. My son called me fat already. Yeah. But, you know, he a hater anyway, so, you know, he's my oldest, so he a hater anyway. So when I knew I was real fat is when I went to bend over to tie my shoe and my stomach got in the way and I had to move my leg to the side to get down there. Yeah. Yeah. Because I was like, well damn. I would say, but maybe because I remember you had
Starting point is 00:34:50 mentioned that your knee was bothering you. Yeah. I said, well maybe he had surgery. Yeah, I did. He was just out of commission. Okay, boom. But I was like, well damn. Hold on. Don't take nobody no three, four months to recover from those knee surgeries. Yeah, dude, man. I had meniscus repair. So I was six weeks non-weight bearing. I couldn't put nothing on it. So I'm like, I'm about six, six, seven months out now. Okay. So how you, how you did that? Old injuries?
Starting point is 00:35:13 No. So what happened was the gym equipment that I was using at the gym, it failed. On you? So I was, I had a band around my waist. Yeah. And instead of using the band, I had a band around my waist. And instead of using a band, I used a Velcro belt that they had there, a cheap Velcro belt to hook to the band. A belt squat?
Starting point is 00:35:31 No. I was doing banded RDFs. So you put the band- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Okay, okay. So I'm doing like 3'15", and I'm doing the banded, and then the thing snapped. So to stop from falling on my face, I had to drop the weight and jump over, and I'm doing the bandit and then the thing snap. Ah! So to stop from falling on my face,
Starting point is 00:35:46 I had to drop the weight and jump over and I landed straight like this on this knee. Pop, yeah. You fell through when you did. Oh yeah, I went that day, got MRI and was in surgery the next day. Yeah. Bam!
Starting point is 00:36:00 You gotta stop doing that heavy thing. No, no, that was, that was heavy. That's funny, we were, I mean, that ain't heavy. Already at 315? That ain't heavy. That ain't heavy. You added, you added, but now you got tension throughout the entire movement,
Starting point is 00:36:11 which I know that's what you looking for. Yeah, you gotta have that push. Yeah. You know. Bro, you get, nah, you're not close. Let's see, you what, 45? Age ain't got nothing to do with strength if you got the right technique, huh?
Starting point is 00:36:25 You're supposed to know that. Why are we talking about strength with a man that's 175? Why you talking, listen, I'm 205 right now. Listen. 205, what? I'm talking to you, don't make me come man, don't make me come about this jacket, man.
Starting point is 00:36:35 Please. But listen, listen, we talk about strength. You talk about a man that's 175, but you know, I've always been very, very strong. You just said you was 205. No, I'm saying, he's saying I was 175. I'm just listening to what he's talking about, but I've always been very, very strong. You just said you was 205. No, I'm saying, he's saying I was 175. I'm just listening to what he's talking about. But I've always been very, very strong.
Starting point is 00:36:49 So you talk about you doing 315 RDL. I'm 315 on the bench. I just did that workout this morning with... Man told me he do 225, 25 times. 27. I did 225 27 times. When? When I was training. It was about two months ago. Hey man, you say stuff so well that I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:37:09 I'm serious, I'm serious. I wouldn't believe it. You had people, you had people obviously, listen, you had, talk to Chip. Chip was our Australian street fighter. I know Chip, yeah. To ask Chip how it was in there. I did my workouts for the defense alignment
Starting point is 00:37:21 and the offense alignment. I didn't even work out with the receivers. Just cause you working out with them, that don't mean you doing their weight. No, I have to do their weight. You know people are like, hey, I work out with the defense alignment and the office alignment. I didn't even work out with the receivers. Just because you working out with them, that don't mean you doing their weight. No, I have to do their weight. You know people are like, hey, I work out with Shavyn Sharp. You have to do their weight. I have to do their weight, because I'd be in the weight.
Starting point is 00:37:31 I'd be in the weight. I can't be in the weight. So I would always go first and say, ask Andrew Whitworth. Who? Ask Whitworth. I don't believe you, Shavyn. Listen. Listen, I'll lie for you before I lie to you.
Starting point is 00:37:44 Listen, you're going to have to show me I mean Your Steelers what they gonna do with the quarterback you won't you want to see Ross or you see Justin Fields? Which one do I want to see yes, um I Don't know what does it matter? I I don't really think it matters too much Which one do I want to see yes? um, I Don't know what doesn't matter. I don't really think it matters too much. I would I guess I would go with Justin because he's young But Yeah, I don't I don't think it matters I think they got to find another option at quarterback I believe so, okay Okay. Okay. If that's okay. How about this?
Starting point is 00:38:26 My boy, George Pickens, do they extend them or do you let them go? Just from what I'm seeing, what I'm hearing. Um, I don't know if it was me. I would, I would try and, uh, I would try and trading. It's something for him. Too good. What you saying? That behavior, it's just hard to win behavior like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:53 That's just me, I mean. I mean, you see it, you know, it happens with, you know, it seems to just be happening a lot of time, but you know, with the receivers, I don't know if it's just. That are really, really, really, really good. Yes. Let me ask you a question yes sir you think George Pickens is the equivalent player of Luka Doncic in football terms no no because he doesn't get the opportunities the Luka does he is not the Luka Doncic what and what you're not going to do is sit here and
Starting point is 00:39:21 discredit George Pickens and how good he is because in comparing him to goddamn Luka Luka. For one, you don't get the opportunities and that type of opportunity. If you gave him the opportunities, would he be the third or fourth best player in the NFL? Boy, he'd be the third, third or fourth. What you talking about? So he'd be over... Hold on, hold on, hold on. Stay right there. Oh, I like you just said that. You put you give...
Starting point is 00:39:41 Total player. Period. Yes. No, I can't go there. That's what I'm asking. Listen to me. Okay. I've seen his skill set. I know what he can do. Stay with me real quick. If he got the opportunity that Jamar Chase got and it's still his offense, what do you think his numbers would be?
Starting point is 00:39:55 I'm not saying no. Wait, let me finish. Let me finish. But the comparison with Luke, I mean, Luke always has the goddamn ball in his hands. Let me finish. Okay. If George Pickens got the opportunity Justin Jefferson got with Minnesota, what you think his numbers would be? Number would be outstanding, but he still would be the third best player in the NFL. So that means you'd have to put him in front of the...
Starting point is 00:40:13 Oh, no, no, no, no. I'm talking about receivers. You know, I didn't even receive total... He said player. That's why I split out. That's why I went, I dropped back. I'm talking about receiver. Receiver. Oh, yeah, absolutely. He has that kind of talent now. Don't do me like that. No, but I'm saying... So I'm saying about receiver. Receiver. Oh yeah, absolutely. He has that kind of talent. Now don't do me like that. No, but I'm saying. So I'm saying the negative behavior. Oh yeah, now that I don't like. And we didn't talk. We didn't have that conversation.
Starting point is 00:40:32 I guarantee you won't have no problems with that anymore. How can you get to that? I didn't have that conversation with you. I guarantee you, and I don't want to sit here and talk about what we talking about. I understand what you're saying. Listen, that window of opportunity, well that be shrink real fast, man. They shrink real fast.
Starting point is 00:40:47 It don't matter how good you are. Yep. And I use your line. They'll tolerate you. Until they replace you. Until they can replace you. Now, they ain't, they ain't. That's what Mike, Mike, Mike would say that all the time.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Oh, yeah, but there's no replacement for him right now, which is why I think he might get a little grace. So don't be surprised if he does come back. Okay, but I think he's gonna want a deal. He's not gonna come back without a deal. You know what I'm saying? So I don't see with his current and past behavior me as the organization taking a chance of saying,
Starting point is 00:41:15 hey, I'm gonna give you this. I guarantee you, and I can stand on that right now, you won't have no more problems out of George Pickett. That goes, Mike, Tom, you're gonna see this. You know, the Rooney's, y'all gonna see this. I guarantee you won't have no more problems out of George Pickett. That goes Mike Tomlin, you're gonna see this. You know, the, you know, all these y'all gonna see this. I guarantee you won't have no problems no more. This ain't for NFL stands, not for long, man. You're not really, it looks like for me,
Starting point is 00:41:34 from the city, looking at you, you don't really take that risk. No, I ain't gonna lie, man, I couldn't. I mean, fantastic, we see him, dude. I'm not gonna lie to you, but, you know, like you said, the conversations you had, things I know, I just couldn't take that chance, but you know, like you said, the conversations you had, things I know, I just couldn't take that chance. I just know what he can do.
Starting point is 00:41:49 I understand the value that he brings to an offense when he's utilized the right way. Hit his head off the goalpost any day. It's only a few receiving in the NFL can take a hit and take a slam and take an 80. Only a handful. Jefferson Chase. I mean all those ones, go halfway on a play too. Oh no no no no no. Ain't too many. Halfway? You can go halfway on a play and not give all your effort. Oh that part. Okay okay. I see you going. I see you going. Let me answer this. What about
Starting point is 00:42:18 Coach Tomlin? He ain't going nowhere. What you mean? I mean, he's going to be there. What he got? Three more years left? Thanks, sir. It's a nice piece of money. Yeah, there was some speculation about him being traded. No, dude. They're not going to trade him. You got a coach that... The good things. You got a coach that can win, can keep you above, you know, 500. He hasn't been below five, what? Almost 20 years, whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:42:47 Do I go and get rid of that in hopes of getting something better? I don't know. It's six in one hand, half a dozen in the other. Also, the other thing is, you're at the Steelers organization. Being above 500, that's not the standard that they that's not the standard that they need to be. No, and that's my arm.
Starting point is 00:43:08 The standard is Lombardi's. The Lombardi's. You know what I'm saying? That's the standard. Yeah. And you know, when it comes down to it, you know, you got to sit back and you got to look at it like, yo, you know, we ain't won a playoff game since 2016. Oof. You know, that's a hard thing, you know, to look at. You're talking about an eight year drought there. But like I said, that's the negative things. But since it's still three years left,
Starting point is 00:43:35 me, I'm going to have to let it ride out because, you know, the devil that I know is better than the devil that I don't know. So I think I got to write that down. I think that's the thing, though, Jane, is that when you look at it and you're like, oh, he hadn't know. Mm-hmm. So I think I gotta write that down I think that's the thing though. Oh Jane is that we look at it and you're like, oh he had been But the standard you're not paying that kind of money to be nine and eight You're not paying that money to be ten and seven when the standard has always been super both Yes playing for winning competing for super both I don't think anybody goes into the beginning of the season said man Steelers are still is gonna be in contention. They're gonna be right there at the end. They're not
Starting point is 00:44:09 They get hot and then they fall. I don't know what I don't know what this what's happening Is that they get hot for like nine ten games and then you just step up a cliff Yeah, I can't you know, I can't uh, I can't give you an explanation of that. Uh why that happens? but um I can't give you an explanation of that, why that happens. But, you know, when it comes down to it, you know, everything has to go back to the head coach. And it's not like you've got a head coach that's been there for three, four years. You've got a guy that's been there almost 20 years.
Starting point is 00:44:37 So the lack of a quarterback, the lack of, you know, offense, defense, whatever that is, it falls back on the head coach. Because you had plenty of time to have years to be like, all right, I need to get into... I need to draft this position because this person is coming up and they won't be able to continue to play. And you have to get your next heir apparent at that position.
Starting point is 00:45:01 And, you know, when you look at it, man... James said, when you look at it, man, to be honest with you, I'm saying you didn't get somebody to get ready to replace him. So similar to like an Aaron Rodgers Jordan Love situation. Yes. Well, you don't want to piss your quarterback off. Could you see what happened when they drafted Jordan Love? You got Aaron Rodgers pissed and they had to fuck over somebody. They pissed off Brett Farms too. But we didn't. It ended up getting a Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:45:30 And that's the same thing. Now, until you find that guy in the Bastille should know firsthand because they didn't do the proper job with Terry Bradshaw. So it wasn't they had those long years of mediocrity until they got a quarterback in Big Ben, which was in 2004. But think about when Terry retired. So you had 20 years of mediocrity until they got a quarterback in Big Ben, which was in 2004. But think about when Terry retired. So you had 20 years of just. It's playing around.
Starting point is 00:45:50 Yeah, and that's what and similarly, that's what that's what they are right now. Because unless you got a quarterback in this league now, yes, you forgot to leave, run the football, run the play defense. You can have a marginal quarterback and you can win. Well, yeah, I mean, you got you got to look at when Ben first came in, you know, that's what we did. We ran the ball, you know, and run run, he hit him over the top, you know, and let him get the time to learn the game and figure out where the ball should go, where it shouldn't go over that course of time.
Starting point is 00:46:18 And you know, his biggest plays were okay, it's a scramble and he's, you know, he's tossing it 20, 30 yards down the field, somebody's taking off. So, you know, running the ball is something, I ain't gonna lie, man. I really want to see you get back into it because it's just a physical aspect of enforcing your, you know, your will on somebody else. They just cannot stop you. That's the great, you know what I'm saying? Now you put an eight, nine in a box and now it's time to go to the top of the head. I like it. You like it. I like it. You want to coach? Do I want to coach? I do not want to coach unless it's my kids. I would be willing to do that if it was my kids but to put
Starting point is 00:46:55 actual time. You understand the time that goes into it. Yes. A lot of time. It's a lot of time that goes into it. Like for me as a player I put a lot of time into it. Yes. A lot of time. It's a lot of time that goes into it. Like for me as a player, I put a lot of time into it. But as a coach, you're putting even more time into it, you know. And that's not something that I'm willing to do. My love for the game is not that great. Especially, you know, if I'm playing it, I'm going to give you everything I got. I'm going to be there from dusk to dawn.
Starting point is 00:47:21 You know, I'm going to do everything I need to do to take care of my body. But just, you know, coaching it, I don't have that love for it. And then you know what it took to be great. And then you coach and you see guys ruling juggling around. Listen, that's something that I would have a hard time with. Especially when you're looking at what they could be if they put in the know the time the effort
Starting point is 00:47:46 you know and that's not just you know on the field it's in the weight room it's in it's in the offseason you know you know especially now where you don't have much practice and all that yeah you know you got a lot of guys with all these soft tissue injuries you know they want to they want to point to the field the turf and all that what you need to point to is guys aren't training like they understood you aren't putting those forces on your body in the off season or you're not getting it leading up into the season.
Starting point is 00:48:11 You only got three games. Guys play, you know, 20 snaps for the whole preseason. And then, you know, week one come and you're like, hey, give me 100 miles an hour, 65 plays. And you wonder why dudes are tearing and getting all these soft tissue injuries. It's because they're not preparing their body to go out and play a season. When I trained, my hardest thing was the off season.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Like I put in more work. I put in more strain on my body than I did in any practice. But that's the thing though, because when you look at it, it's still Chad. You know what I mean? He's still chattin'. He always go talk crazy. That ain't gonna... Listen, there's one thing about talking but you know I'm gonna get in there and... You're trying? I'm trying.
Starting point is 00:48:53 It's gonna be a try. It's gonna be a try. I'm playing on you. You're hunting what? How much you want? 205 right now. Maybe go pick that little shit up with one hand. You're gonna pick it up.
Starting point is 00:49:01 Cause he gonna pick that shit up with one hand. Bro! I think I'm gonna treat that little boy... You don't pick up no money? Fuck wrong with this nigga man? He just breaks off his ass! Oh bro! You gon' break?
Starting point is 00:49:09 This ain't no car nigga! You lose! I think I'm gonna break this ain't no car nigga! You lose! Alright, alright. What we gon' do? Alright. We gon' get advertised as sponsors.
Starting point is 00:49:17 What the hell like? I know he don't! No! I know he don't! I know he don't! No! I know he don't! This one I'm more worried about.
Starting point is 00:49:26 I'm more worried about he might eat that little shit you throw at him. No, forget what I told you. He ain't conditioned like I am. He gonna be tired in two seconds. He gonna try to throw a punch. He gonna try to throw a weight back. You said in the manny. He's grabbing me. Stop saying that before I hit you in your mouth. Don't say that no more. How the hell I get on this? I was walking by and I'm about to get hit in your mouth. Don't say that no more.
Starting point is 00:49:45 How the hell I get on this? I was walking by, and I'm about to get hit in my mouth. Boy, God damn. Because y'all disrespect me. Y'all think they can live a piece of that? Hey, make your AFC the, hey, Peezy, you know I AFC North Hill. They living so helpful.
Starting point is 00:49:57 I don't like that people look at size, and they determine wins and losses based off size. You saw David and Goliath. Remember that story, right? Man, that was the Bible. Remember that story? Remember what happened when I... You in there. Huh?
Starting point is 00:50:08 Yeah, don't do that. Don't paint yourself up to be David. You read the Bible? Yeah, I read... But you ain't... Do you read the Bible? I'm one of Mrs. David and Goliath. Do you read the Bible? Yes, these are one of Mrs. David and Goliath.
Starting point is 00:50:18 Start reading. Start reading, because you're gonna need that later. Boy, you good. I ain't gonna need them. You're good. I thought you was good back in... You know what? You know what's up with you? No, man, man, man you gonna need it. Boy, you good. I ain't gonna need it. You're good. I thought you was good back then. I thought you was good back then. You know what?
Starting point is 00:50:26 You know what's up? No. Hey, man, what are you gonna make? Hey, Chad. Chad, listen to me. Chad, Chad, listen. You heard me? Hey, Chad, listen.
Starting point is 00:50:34 No. Listen, let me talk to you. She ain't saying she got to talk to you. You didn't get good. Listen. Hey, I'm putting up my no deep on him. I'll take my life for a joke. My life ain't no joke.
Starting point is 00:50:43 All my kids, I'm gonna fuck you up. I just need you. You all right? I don't need you. All right, all right. I'll take my life for a joke. My life ain't no joke. All my kids, I'm gonna fuck you up. You know what? I don't need it. All right. All right. All that crazy. I'm gonna bust you in your mouth. I'm like, oh, what's going on?
Starting point is 00:50:54 What? I put that up on my kids. You know I don't play by my kids. I got 200 of them. I got you. But you good. Boy, you good. I'm going to show you I'm good.
Starting point is 00:51:02 And I'm going to show you I'm good. You ain't. Oh my god. What you got to do? And I'm gonna show you I'm good. Hold on, hold on. Oh my God. What you got to do, man? You got something to say? Listen, man, I accepted my law and savior in August of this past year, man.
Starting point is 00:51:14 I was baptized. You were? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, my hand off. I can't even start with it. What you about to make me do is go totally outside what I said I was gonna do. Of your character, right?
Starting point is 00:51:24 No. Listen, man what I said I was going to do. Of your character, right? No. Listen, man. I think I might... I've been trying to hold this thing inside of me for a long time. Because ever since I got fined by Roger Goodell for $75,000, I've been wanting to kill somebody. I think you might be the person. That's fine.
Starting point is 00:51:39 I think I done brought you here. That's fine. That's fine. That's fine. Whatever you want to do. You know? Matter of fact, if you beat me, I'll add a $75,000 to your purse if you beat me. How about that? So you get your money back. That's how serious I am.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Oh. You gonna give me that? I give it back. You might as well just write that right now. You got me fucked up, man. You might as well write that. How can I get involved in this? Y'all talking about making some money. Shay, where's my part?

Starting point is 00:52:45 And the heart's a little pink. It felt like I told you I loved you. I'm gonna be honest, it was a little pink. There was something sentimental when you sent it. Listen, I'm trying to tell you. He's that pit bull that, he's, sit up, you get close enough, you gonna grab your ass. What? You should have pulled you down, right?

Starting point is 00:56:59 I'm not playing. You're playing. You're playing. You're playing. You're playing. You're playing. You're playing. You're what? I pulled you down for a reason. Hey, we gotta say you a plan. Niggas fat. I'm not playing.
Starting point is 00:57:10 He's a dead ass. Oh, yeah, I was saying that. Hey, we got this. We got this. Oh, we're gonna make some. Talk about he's serious. What you think of him? Playing.
Starting point is 00:57:19 No, I ain't playing. Did I play with you on Sundays? Yeah. He come to me for that and he's acting like we're about to fight before the game. I said, no, man, they're going to throw me out for real. I didn't get time to match you, DJ. Like, I'm a B. He pull up with his shirt on.
Starting point is 00:57:33 Come on, man. I said, no, man, they're going to throw me out for real. And you go get the play. But it's the thing. This ain't football no more. This is real life. And you tested my manhood, and you're disrespecting me. Are you going to? No. OK, we'll see. Yeah, I look like, you tested my manhood, now you disrespecting me. Are you gonna, are you, no.
Starting point is 00:57:46 Okay, we'll see. Yeah, I'll tell you, man. We'll see. How much time you need to get the knee right? Oh, I don't want no excuses. That's gonna be his first excuse when he lose. Oh, my knee was messed up. Oh, my knee was.
Starting point is 00:57:58 I had a minute. I'm getting tomorrow. Y'all bring me back. I'm heading to tomorrow. I'm gonna go run and do my thing. Oh, my knee. Hit me back. Oh, I need some more of this, man. me back. I'm here till tomorrow. I'm gonna go run and do my thing. Oh, my knee. Hit me back. Oh. I need some more of this, man. I need to get my conscience up.

You might want to give him some weight. I don't need to gain no weight. I don't need to gain no weight. I think six months would be good enough. And can you be ready in six months?
Starting point is 00:58:23 I can be ready tomorrow, man. No, we need time. We gotta sell it. Well, shit. Now you quiet. Now you quiet. Be quiet. Soft ass.
Starting point is 00:58:34 Soft ass. Okay. Soft ass, you soft, boy. I see through all that shit. I see through all that muscle. Shit ain't about nothing, boy. You got the right one. I'm, boy. You got the right one. I'm going to.
Starting point is 00:58:46 You got the right one, baby. What they say? I'm gonna try to see what they say in the chat. I beat the chat ass, too. See, man, listen. We gonna ask, listen. I'm tired, I'm not listening. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:04 I'm Helen Keller, Don't talk to me. You're trying to make me laugh. I'm trying to hear. Laugh for what? Because whatever you smile, we're gonna be missing. I don't bust your ass too bad. Okay. All right, bet. Nah, nah, you gotta get it. Bet. You got to get it. Hey, he asked for this. He asked for this. Oh, I'm gonna get you everything you looking for. March, April, May, June, July, August. I think August would be about the right amount of time.
Starting point is 00:59:24 I don't need no. I'm good now. You better talk to him. Hey, Ryan, I'm going to fuck him up. Lies. All right. I got Debo chat. That's fine. I know I want you to get it because my teachers in high school said the same thing. They didn't believe in me. And look what I became.
Starting point is 00:59:39 You did. Look where I come. Ass, who you got? Debo. OK. Aaron, who you got? Debo. Okay. Aaron, who you got? Debo. Thank you, thank you. Somebody that believe in me. That's Ocho's producer, Aaron.
Starting point is 00:59:54 So, unfortunately, put all your money on him too. James Harrison, ladies and gentlemen, thanks for joining us D-BoB. Hey, get right, get the knee right. All right, you got this. Listen, get right. Yeah, I know, I know. I'm not lying, man.
Starting point is 01:00:11 It's going to be easy. I thought playing football was easy. Okay. That's going to be the easiest money you ever made. Okay. Ever made. We'll see. You know the money right.
Starting point is 01:00:19 Yeah, we'll see. The money okay, right? The money. We'll see. Yes. That's how I know he's going to get his ass whoop because he worried about the money right. Yeah, we'll see. Is the money okay? Right, some money. We'll see. But it is. That's how I know he gonna get his ass whoop cause he worried about the money.
Starting point is 01:00:27 No. I'm going in for business. You going in for business? I'm going in for business. What you doing after the show? Huh? What you doing after the show? I'm gonna go to the French Quarter
Starting point is 01:00:37 and smoke a cigar. You wanna go? Tell me where you going? I'll meet you there. Okay, bet. We can take care of it then. I just told you, I just told you. I'm gonna be in the French Quarter
Starting point is 01:00:44 and I'm gonna be in the French Quarter smoking a cigar. Okay.. We can take care of it then. I just told you, I just told you. I'm gonna be in the French court, I'm gonna be in the French court of smoke with a cigar. Okay. So whatever you want to do. Yeah. Right. We got our next guest coming to the stage, Ocho. Hey. I ain't even shaking your hand. Go ahead, yo. I don't need to shake your hand. It's time to take these off. All right bet. Bet I see you. Hey, I got Devo All right, thanks over to the gate is the San Francisco 49ers all world. Oh Yeah, we'll be good we don't boy go to put stage right now is the San Francisco 49ers all pro linebacker. One of the best defensive players in all of football.
Starting point is 01:01:34 Red Warner. What's up? What's up? How you doing? It's not for that all pro linebacker on behalf of Experian, which can help improve your financial health and keep more money in your pocket. You may have seen Fred and his wife sitting in commercials highlighting how people can save money and time with Experian by canceling unwanted subscription, negotiating your bills for lower rates and more. In fact, according to Experian, 93% of Americans said it's more important for them to save money as a couple and Experian is making that easier to do.
Starting point is 01:02:09 So whether you're single or in a new relationship or happily married, download the free Experian app to learn how you can take control of your money, finances, and save time and money. See, boy, hey, you said it all right there. You didn't even let me say it. Did you hear everything you just said? Everything about Experian. So one first thing you said was all right there. You didn't even let me say it. Did you hear everything you just said? Everything about experience. One first thing you said was
Starting point is 01:02:26 wife, couple, girlfriend. Like, that just triggered me based on the situation I'm in right now. Being in the dog house and things are in limbo. Because this is something that me and that other person that we can get into. Right. So, then download the experience out today, man. It's going to take care of all that for you. All right, listen, I know you are,
Starting point is 01:02:47 you're probably watching right now. I know we on bad terms, but download the Experience app and see what it can do for us. Maybe it can mend things, okay? Cause God has favor, he does. And Fred Warner and his woman, they're an example of what can be when two people come together.
Starting point is 01:03:03 That's it. You hear me? I don't know what type of foundation we own right now, but theirs is solid So, how do you get him? How do you get involved with experience? Yeah, man experience They're so amazing. First of all, they're there. I mean, I want to save my time save my money just like everybody Yeah, right and that's what they're all about. They're trying to save you time and money So for example, you get a Peloton, right? You want that Peloton, you got to get, download the membership. Then two, two, three weeks later, you're like, man, you know what?
Starting point is 01:03:32 The Peloton just ain't working for me. Right. But I forgot about the membership. That all them subscriptions that you accumulate over time, man, it all add up, they're no 399ers. Those are the ones that get you. Cause guess what? They kind of slide under the radar.
Starting point is 01:03:42 You don't, you don't realize you got them. You download the Experian app. They take care of all that for you They get rid of all the unwanted subscriptions that you don't use or don't need Save you time and money. I like you get your former defensive coordinator back I was solid come back the last time you guys went to the soup bowl be coming back, right? What happened this year? Because you guys were in the soup y'all you guys were in this situation just last year. This year some injuries, what happened? What does the 49ers need to do to get back in this position?
Starting point is 01:04:08 And what happened, Dijon? Yeah, I mean, everybody talks about the injuries, right? I think it just, when you go through the whole year, things just unraveled at the exact wrong time, I think you could just call it, right? We thought we had a chance to really get back on track. Mid-season, we get Christian back, right? You know, we win a big game on the road against the Buccaneers.
Starting point is 01:04:28 Buffalo, we think we can come bounce back after a bad game against Green Bay. He gets hurt. We lose guys on the D-line. We lose Trent. We lose B.A. Like, all these injuries kind of just happened at the wrong time. And we just weren't able to continue to compete at a high level. So we got to get back, man. We got to get back on track this off-season, get guys healthy, and get that dog back in us. Now, when you think about the off season, right,
Starting point is 01:04:49 are there any pieces, any acquisitions that you see fit that can help and bolster the defensive side of the ball, the offensive side? Or are you happy with the core guys you guys have? I mean, I see Miles Garrett asking for a trade. Yeah. I'm like, hey, hey. Hey, we're looking. We jumping it up at the Pro Bowl.
Starting point is 01:05:07 Yeah, it's on my, what it's on, man. I love my team. I love who we have, right? You always looking for more, more pieces, you know, more improvement. Of course, you know, we need improvement going into next season. Of course, based on the season we had, but I love everybody that we got in our locker room. It's going to take everybody just taking a look in the mirror and just taking
Starting point is 01:05:25 that next step going to the next season. What is Red Warner? Obviously you've been a multi-time all pro player. You've gone to pro bowl, you've gone to super bowl. What's left? What do you want to accomplish? Say the next four or five years of your career? Four or five super bowls.
Starting point is 01:05:42 Four or five super bowls. Man, that's, that's honestly the only thing I'm chasing at this point, right? When I wake up in the morning, it's no longer of like, all right, I'm trying to just be the best in the game, right? I wanna be the best of all time. And what does that require?
Starting point is 01:05:53 Not only playing at the best, the highest level, but having the championships, right? That's the ultimate team award is a Super Bowl ring. And so what do you have to do? You gotta go outside yourself. You gotta get uncomfortable now now where you going you you're getting after your teammates like hey, man Come train with me come train in the Bay like let's get let's get after let's get to it So we making sure that we're training together We're doing things the right way to when ultimately the season comes boom now
Starting point is 01:06:17 We'd even that more locked in the chemistry there the camaraderie. We got to build that up to start getting getting these rings going What about a DP or why? Absolutely We got to build that up to start getting these rings going. What about a DPOY? Absolutely. Because, you know, you look at the great linebackers from Slingo Terry to Buccos, Ray Lewis, Erlacher, or Keakley. All those guys are able to accomplish that in the middle linebacker position. And I think you're in that category. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:06:40 But you're going to need to get one of those. Yeah, I'll take it a step further. Why not MVP? Okay. Well, you gotta be the ALT. Come on, man. There's been two of those LT I figure it let I want to shoot for MVP and if I fall down on dp. Oh, why hey, that's good That's the mindset though. Yeah. Yeah, i'm trying to think it's early. I've asked everybody that's been on here this it's early It's february right now. I'm not sure how much time you take off from Uh your season before you start back training.
Starting point is 01:07:09 What do you do in the off season? What does that look like before you get back into business? Before getting back into it? I mean, all that time in season when I'm dedicating that to just strictly football, like I want to give some time back to my family, right? My wife, my son, I got a 10 month old boy at home who needs his daddy. You know what I'm saying? So it's kind of using that time to take some trips, spend some more time with them. Unfortunately, I got to come do stuff like this because I'm not playing in the Super Bowl, but it is a pleasure
Starting point is 01:07:34 obviously being amongst the greats and do stuff like this. But yeah man, just spending time with family. That's dope. Yeah, that's dope. Yeah, I mentioned Robert Salas coming back. What does he add to the defense that maybe was missing? Because a lot of the pieces were there. I mean, obviously you got you and Bolsa and Floyd was there. A couple of DBs missed some time with injuries. But what what is his voice being you hearing his voice in your headset? What does that do for you?
Starting point is 01:08:02 And what does that do for this defense? I mean, it just adds another layer of stability, right? Having a guy that's proven that's been there and done it and with our team, not only just in this league, but with our team, you know, he's the one that brought me in as a 49er. He knew exactly what he wanted at the position at each position, right? And so we're looking at a really young secondary coming back this year. A defensive line who obviously it was a little banged up but getting those guys back going you know we don't know what
Starting point is 01:08:28 the second level gonna look like yet I want I want my boy Dre Greenlaw back with me but having him as the ultimate teacher to get to right the ship and get us back to playing dominant defense we're gonna need it. This is what I want to ask you here is the situation. Mm-hmm. Dre comes back Andre Campbell was in he was playing you play was playing well. But Drake Greenlaw, you and him, y'all got Kimmich, and they inserted him back into the starting lineup. And Campbell's like, nah, this ain't for me. Did you know he had did what he had done on the field or did you learn about it once you got into the locker room?
Starting point is 01:09:01 Yeah, no, I didn't know it was unfolding in real time. I found out later on. I truly wish Devonjay would have handled it a different way because obviously now that's a horrible way to go out. But yeah, man, it's just unfortunate that he had to, you know, make that decision. As a competitor, as a competitor, as great as you are at your position, do you understand where he was coming from? Even though he handled it the wrong way. Do you understand where he was coming from? Even though he handled it the wrong way. Do you do you understand that? No, no, no, there's there's, you know, there's obviously got to look at it from both
Starting point is 01:09:31 lenses, right? You got to look at it from obviously our team perspective. Right. You don't you don't sell you don't sell the team. You can't do it. No. But from his perspective, obviously, he wants to be on the field. He wants to make sure he treated, you know, with respect and what not, which he obviously felt like he was disrespected. So you can look at it from both angles but at the end of the day you can't handle like that yeah okay yeah it's just tough for me because you look you understood why you was there you was
Starting point is 01:09:55 there because Greenlaw wasn't available had Greenlaw been available you weren't been there it wasn't like a whole lot of people beat down your door I think they were there along the way there it had to be some sort of miscommunication. Be nice, be nice, huh? I didn't even have that conversation with him because now obviously he up and left and the ties have been cut there,
Starting point is 01:10:11 but you never know. And we had this conversation, we just had this conversation with Michael Pittman Jr. but when his quarterback tapped his head, said he was tired of eating bloke. What did he say? I'm curious, I wanna know what he said. They had a conversation, they had a team meeting to know what was expected of him and what was going to be accepted of
Starting point is 01:10:30 him. But the one thing, like you said, we're a team. When you're a team, the one thing we don't leave anybody behind. We go down. Let's handle it after the game. After the game over, we will handle this. Yeah. I mean, I get it.
Starting point is 01:10:41 I mean, I don't think there's ever a time. I mean, you suited up. You should have said, look, if I don't start coaching, coach, I'm going to be a player. I'm going to be a coach. I'm going to be a coach. I'm going to be a coach. I'm going and I get it. I mean, I don't think there's ever a time. I mean, you suited up. You should have said, look, if I don't start, Coach, if I don't start, I don't feel comfortable in place. You can't wait till they need you.
Starting point is 01:10:53 No, no, no. That's the part that I got a problem with. He waited until they needed him the most in the pool of this. Yes. It was all handled the wrong way. Obviously, I'm sure he wishes he could have handled it differently, but it is what it is now. Yeah. What do you guys what do you team need to do? I mean, you guys, you mentioned you have some injuries,
Starting point is 01:11:12 offense played well, uh, party's going to get a big contract. You know, when you quarterback get those big contracts, you know, some people, sometimes a lot of times, Fred, they have to go contracts, you know, get restructured or some teams. You got gotta cut some really, really good players. So really, really tough decisions that John Lynch, the GM, and Kyle Shanahan, the head coach, they're gonna have to make. And a lot of the guys that were on that roster
Starting point is 01:11:35 for that final game, they're not gonna be back, right? Right, I mean, but that's every year. Regardless of the party situation. Like you can go look at Philadelphia, for example. Like they paid Jalen Hurst now. They paid him a good back. But their team is loaded. And why is that? They've been able to hit in the draft and develop young talent. Where they're now thinking like everybody's looking at their team like, oh my gosh, how is the Heart of the Eagles so loaded? Guess what?
Starting point is 01:11:56 They found a guy in Zach Bond who was an edge rusher over with the Saints, who's now an all-pro off the ball linebacker. Like you're hitting in the right areas. You've got obviously Jalen Carter in the draft, who's an all-pro at D-Tackle. You sign a guy like Saquon Barkley, who was one of the big-time hits that you had. And then everybody else who you already have on your roster is playing at a high level. So it's about just doing these little things that you're hitting on and everything coming together all at once to then ultimately give yourself the best chance to win at the end. Yeah, you definitely,
Starting point is 01:12:26 Howard Roseman has done an unbelievable job in the draft. You look at Kubrick Dejaune, you look at the other corner, Mitchell. You mentioned they lose Jason Kelsey and they get the guy to replace him. He goes right- And he a pro bowler. He goes to the pro bowler.
Starting point is 01:12:38 You know, you had those big guns outside. You had Lane, you had Mylotta, you had Dickson, Dickson in there. And you're right, they've done a great job in the draft and they've added some few pieces that go out, make the trade for AJ Brown. Yeah, huge. And when you hit it like that, it's like you don't know it. I mean, AJ Brown was phenomenal with the times, but I mean, he took another step,
Starting point is 01:12:59 another level with Philly and found another level over here. So it's like, you never know, but they're doing it right over there. And the funny thing about it, when it comes to the Eagles and the way they're running things up there is they keep, not only are they hitting, they keep on hitting. Every time it always makes sense. It's like they playing chess,
Starting point is 01:13:16 but they making every move with the white men. Yeah, the thing too, the thing with you guys what hurt you guys is that you're going so far in the playoff that you're not picking 10. You're not picking, you're picking 30 of me. Yeah, so Well, that's why now it's a unique situation right now we got 11 in the first round we got pick 11 so obviously, you know, they're gonna use that however they see fit and Let's let's roll like let's let's use it to our advantage. Well, what would have helped had you not gave up all those picks for?
Starting point is 01:13:45 Trey Lance That that really sent y'all back pretty. You gave a first round of that. I love my pay grade. Fred Warner, All Pro Linebacker representing Experian. Make sure you go download the app, learn how to save money, take control of your finances, and you can save time. Fred, thanks for joining us. Appreciate you bro. If y'all need some extra legs down in the bay, let me know man. Hey, hey, come on. Talk to me. You miles, we, we, he's done. I'm never done. He don't believe in me. Listen, I'm, I'm, I'm from the fight Devo, right? I'm from the fight. I'm from the James. You're from the fight Devo. I'm for the beat his ass. I'm for the, I'm gonna do it here. You gonna fight D-Bow? I'm gonna beat his ass. Oh yeah. I'm gonna beat his ass. Y'all fight, where y'all box?
Starting point is 01:14:26 No, get MMA. Frick, so you don't believe in me either? You seen D-Bow? That, see, we always look at people's sides and think that means something. No, no, no. Y'all don't mean nothing. I'm talking about MMA though, like on the ground.
Starting point is 01:14:38 How is he gonna, how is he gonna touch me, Frick? As quick and fast as I still am. You gonna keep the jab, you gonna keep the distance. Man, I'm gonna beat the dog shit out of his ass. All right, hey, listen, you know I'm team D-Bow now. That something? It ain't D-Bow, like, he literally, he D-Bow. But I'm Ocho.
Starting point is 01:14:53 What happened to D-Bow on Friday? Oh, you gotta slow. All right, there we go. Thanks, Kills. That's it. All right, good to see you. Appreciate you, you too. Appreciate you, y'all, man.
Starting point is 01:15:02 Good to see you, boss. Good to see you, too. All-Pro live backer Fred Warner. In a recent interview, Packers running back Josh Jacobs was asked if he believes the team should add pizza to the soft season. Jacobs candidly responded, I think we need like three. fellow teammates Don Vontana, I forget, Wicks replied in this interview, thumbs down. We called out Packers fans, tweeting out a lot of Packers fans. F you, man. If the old player ain't crazy, the Packers look to bolster their wide receiving corps, Ocho, this off season. Wait, they want to bolster their wide receiving
Starting point is 01:15:35 corps when there's nothing wrong with their wide receiving corps? Listen, you have a young corps of guys, maybe bringing a veteran presence. I'm thinking, is there a veteran presence that can come in and help that they can learn from? Cooper Cup comes to mind. Cooper Cup comes to mind. But again, the young receivers have done a phenomenal job though. They've done a great job.
Starting point is 01:15:54 I don't know if you wanna mess up that chemistry and continuity that he has with Jordan Love and those guys. I mean, Josh Jacob asked, he said we need to bring in three pieces. He didn't say they need to be wire receivers. But the wire receivers, I guess the wire receivers. They heard you. I'm sure.
Starting point is 01:16:07 And you ask the offensive player that, then they think it's coming from an offensive perspective on what they need to bring in. So I kind of understand. Bad. That's funny. He said, Jayden Reed called out Packer fans tweeting out, a lot of y'all Packer fans,
Starting point is 01:16:21 so F you, F'd up man. Bash your own players. It's crazy. I mean he just, I mean I think the thing is, look, it's never easy when a teammate says, yeah I think we, because who brings, who brings back the status quo? The exact same roster and expect you're going to improve. You have to make tweaks somewhere, right Joe? But also wait a minute, let's say, let's say not making any tweaks. Sometimes bringing back the same thing, the continuity in the chemistry that they do have might be better than it was last year because now you have another year under your belt. But I think you still got to bring some pieces in. Look, you're going to lose some, you're going to add some.
Starting point is 01:16:58 You just hope the pieces that you add are in the right area because you're going to lose some pieces. Nobody's staying the exact same. Tampa tried that after they won the Super Bowl, brought all their guys back in. That didn't work out quite well. And so I don't think it, why would you ever, if you didn't win the championship, bring all the pieces stay exactly the same when you didn't capture your ultimate goal. Right. But with that being said, he was like, I guess he felt that a teammate, excuse me, a teammate shouldn't say what he said, but he didn't say a position, he didn't say a specific position,
Starting point is 01:17:29 you just said maybe three pieces, he didn't say what those three pieces should be. You know, you got a puzzle, three pieces to the three pieces to the puzzle is pretty large, it can go anywhere, anywhere. But I think sometimes, Ocho, when it's always a family member, we can take criticism from outside, but if it's family, if it's from inside. And when you look at the structure of a team, we look at us as being family. So anytime a family criticizes what we're going to do. Right.

We'll have plenty of folks join us, current players, some of my former teammates, Hall of Famers, and wait to see some of the connections that Julie has. She has quite the Rolodex. Okay, we'll lean into Nate's playing experience and tap into our interests away from hockey
Starting point is 01:21:06 and try to do what energy lines are supposed to do, provide an emotional boost. How do you feel about all that, Nate? I'm vibing, Julie, I'm ready to roll. Listen to Energy Line with Nate and JSB on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Starting point is 01:21:42 What? What? What's up, bro? How you doing, man? Good to see you. What's up, bro? How you doing, man? What's up, bro? You doing? Have a seat tell us tell us what brings you up to see the bounty the quicker picker Oh, hold on click the bounty wingman The bounty wingman today. Okay, you can't have football without wings You cannot you cannot have and you can't have wings without batting. You cannot can't have football without wings. You cannot. You cannot have wings without batting. You cannot.
Starting point is 01:22:06 So is this a two-ply, the quicker picker-upper, right? Oh, this is the good stuff. Good stuff, really good stuff. This is the diesel. OK. I like it. We might as well be in Cincinnati right now. There we go.
Starting point is 01:22:18 How's your experience so far been at Subo? Just kind of just coming straight to Radio Row. You know, I've been to New Orleans a few times. I love this town. You like it? Yeah. How has it been so far? It's been good.
Starting point is 01:22:35 I had some beignets last night. But it's been good, man. Just hanging out here. Okay. Okay. Tell us about the season. Obviously, you guys didn't make the playoffs and haven't been to the Super Bowl. You know what that's like.
Starting point is 01:22:46 So what, what are the bingles? What do you guys need to do to make sure that next year in San Francisco that you guys are not able to come to Radio Rope? Yeah, I mean, you can't throw away games, right? Like if you look at our early season, we had too many games that we just threw away like game four or five games. We should have won and we didn't make the play. And when you do that, it's, it's tough to dig yourself out of of a hole even if you want to run at the end there. That Patriots game really hurts huh because you look back at it and see where they finished and look where that one game what if you like and that's what it comes down to during the season it's look we can there's
Starting point is 01:23:17 game here game there but you're like hold on we lost to that team they're gonna be picking bird in the draft and we lost to that team and they potentially kept us out of the play-offs. Yeah, no, I think that's officially something that's that's on our back as a program is to Get these early wins in the season and not not play from a two three game deficit against Kansas City, Buffalo Baltimore and and you know just be in the pack because it's going to be tight regardless Yes, but we can't draft three to start and expect to do anything in the pack because it's going to be tight regardless. Yes. But we can't drag three to start and expect to do anything in the end. But you know how close those games are even between teams that win a lot of games and teams that don't.
Starting point is 01:23:50 If you don't play well, you're going to lose those games. It's that simple. You look at Kansas City, one score game, they don't lose one score games. You lose a couple of those games, not all of a sudden. It works out different. Some teams, one score game, they might be two and eight. Another team in one score game, they might be eight and two another team in one score game they might be eight and two that's the difference between a team making the playoffs and a team that doesn't make the
Starting point is 01:24:09 playoffs what do you guys look you lose your defensive coordinator you bring it uh i think al i think golden comes back in he was a bb uh live backer climber end up going to nortadame becoming the dc he comes back what are some of the things that you think you guys need to do in order to improve this overall team to make sure you guys guys just in the soup bowl about four years ago? How do you get back? So I think it just starts with preparation. We got to come out of camp healthy and ready to go prepared healthy ready to go for week one week two and put ourselves in a great position in our division and in our confidence. You know, I'm excited for Scott Peters, our new alligned coach. I think he's gonna bring a great,
Starting point is 01:24:49 refreshing new energy to our rooms. I've talked to Dave Andrews up in New England, and you know, he speaks very highly of him. So I'm excited to get to work with him. Yeah, and it's not wholesale changes. Like, I mean, every game is gonna be close the whole year. So it's making those plays. It comes down to execution.
Starting point is 01:25:05 And, uh, if you execute those close games, that's the difference. Better get them right. Get them right. Also, you know, also I want to point out also watching us, I'm saying us, even though I'm not on the team right now, watching us throughout the years, we always have a problem issue with starting slow, we always start slow where we have to find our way, pick ourselves out the hole. You know, what do you think we can do from an offensive and even the standpoint to where we can get a, get a, get a season finally, where we start fast for a change.
Starting point is 01:25:37 It is not so hard to climb back into contention later on in the season. I think we're probably going to, it's probably going to be a little bit different of a spring program right and and obviously camp too and you know I think that Zach wanted to play us more in this preseason I think we'll probably have a bigger volume in the preseason coming up. You just talked about that. Yes because I'm from the old school. Yeah. I used to play the first preseason game that's four preseason games obviously if you went overseas or you played the Hall of Fame game you played five but we used to play the first preseason game this for preseason game Obviously if you went overseas or you played the Hall of Fame game you played five But we played template the person preseason game play ten plays and then we play 20 the third preseason game with dress
Starting point is 01:26:12 I dress for her so we're playing three quarters and Then the fourth game we were out now a lot of these guys that y'all you guys don't even play the preseason How difficult and did not you ask? Well, you don't play the entire preseason All right, we're gonna turn it up. We want you to go all out 60 plays That's asking an awful lot guys. Yeah, we still see see teams do it like I think the Rams when they won the Super Bowl they didn't play it all in the preseason, so I Don't know. I mean it's doable. I don't like to look at that It's like I have an excuse like I really think it comes down to executing plays like like why did we lose those games? I don't think it's cuz we didn't play in the preseason because we didn't play well
Starting point is 01:26:46 You know what I mean like I was just kind of pointing to something that we could change To just change up the the mojo right yeah, but at the start of the season This is really the first season that Joe has been completely healthy I don't know how much he played cuz he's nursing a calf injury So he didn't participate a lot doing training camp Yeah But this is really the first season that he hasn't been helped that he was healthy and you guys did make the playoff But normally when he's healthy you guys make a deep run AFC Championship game or Super Bowl
Starting point is 01:27:15 How important is to make sure that he's healthy he's upright cuz we he's upright. He's as good as we have in the league Yes Yeah I mean that shows that it's a team game because he was playing as good as he could play. And when we all didn't play well enough around him. But obviously our jobs to take care of him and he's best in the world. I mean, what about your question? Because I was always interested. Like when your guy beats you for a time outside and you go like, hey, I hope Joe didn't know that was my guy.
Starting point is 01:27:42 He'll know soon enough. Put it right on the right off the street. You got to get out in front of that. That's all me, brother. That's all me. That's know soon enough. They put it right on the, right off the street. You gotta get out in front of it. That's all me, bro. That's all me. That's all me. My bad, my bad. So guys, you're representing Bounty.
Starting point is 01:27:52 So what are you guys doing for Bounty? We're wingmen, dude. Wingmen stick together. Wingmen are there for each other, and so we're just representing wingmen. You know, Bounty, they say there's billions of wings eating Super Bowl week or something like that bounty of keeping clean But it's rare. It's a rare very rare that office of lineman get an opportunity to pitch products Oh, yeah, normally is skill play of the clear back We're back wire receivers DBs linebackers now you two guys are actually pitching product or the dynamic job
Starting point is 01:28:21 I mean, I like you see this guy eat wings, then you would understand. He's a wing kind of scorer. All flats. All flats. No drums? Never. I like that. I'm a flat guy. I'm a flat guy, but don't act like you're too good to eat a drum.
Starting point is 01:28:34 We can all eat a drum. Come on. Yeah, I was about to ask, flats or drums? So if we get a 50 platter, how many flats, how many drumming? I go 30, 20, 30 flats. I'm going 50. 50 flats? 50 flats is better than people. That's why. You can fry them better, you can grill them better, they're better sauced up, it's a better dip. It's not as like uh you know sometimes in the drum you get like that sinewy tissue. Right yeah that is true. Pure meat. Okay yeah I like that. I have one question I want to I want to I want to take it
Starting point is 01:29:03 back to football real quick especially during the all season with some some some things that are gonna have to happen. We're gonna have to pay Jamar chicks We're gonna have to pay T Higgins do you think it's possible to be able to fit everybody under that umbrella and Being able to pay what they deserve based on their play thus far. There's always a way I mean you look at teams that manipulate the Catholic crazy. There's always a way you don't even need to manipulate it this year. It's going to 275 But you have to understand you talk about team being able to manipulate the cat But teams also don't have a tee Higgins team don't also have a Joe burrow and a Jamar chase So it's a new team don't have a Mike Brown as an owner
Starting point is 01:29:38 It's not to let you know don't talk about don't talk about my owner. Well, we'll defend Let him know, Ocho. That's the biggest thing. The teams that manipulate the cap, those are the teams that really want that really spend money and they'll worry about the cans. On the back end. Sometimes you gotta sell out for a couple years
Starting point is 01:29:58 to see what happens. You mentioned the Rams. That's what they did. They make the thing with Matthew Stafford. And they got the trade, make the trade for Vaughn Miller And you got AD and you got Leonard Floyd and you make a trade for Odell Beckham. You get Jay Fox did it too. We did it in Tampa too. And now they're still winning even though like some of that Tom Cap, they had to carry over stuff like that But they found a way to win. And the thing is that you bring that mindset in there once guys get a taste that kind of winning. Oh, yeah
Starting point is 01:30:26 It sticks. Well, that's I think why? Patrick Mahomes is so dynamic. He knows how to win that organization I mean they're winning games 19 to 11, you know 15 to 10. It's like guys are weird games, but somehow they're winning Yeah, it doesn't even seem like they're playing that good and then they come out and win the game Yeah, that's all that matters too in this league. That really is all that matter. Thank you guys Ted. Karen's Alex Capper Thank you guys for joining us in bounty wings. They say did a wing man's check it out. Thank you God can't have wings without bounty About it cuz somebody's got to clean up that mess. Well, thanks for having us. Thanks. God. I'll see you
Starting point is 01:31:06 Well, yeah I'll see you. We out? Yes. Thanks, fellas. Thank you, guys. Appreciate it. Good luck. We're taking. Appreciate it. Good to see you, baby.
Starting point is 01:31:14 All right, y'all? I got you. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. What's up, bro? Coming to the stage. What they do baby? Fuck, are you good?
Starting point is 01:31:27 You got it? Cleveland Brown's all world cornerback Denzel Ward. My guy. D you up Ocho? D who up? You? You might be talking about Madden. You?
Starting point is 01:31:37 You ain't talking about him. I really ain't mad at him. I done studied him to a T. I can tell him about his whole game. What he gonna do? Down the distance? D'you up? Man, Nathaniel. The great, hey listen,
Starting point is 01:31:50 one of the greatest technicians, are you gonna be seeing the tweets where I talk about? Yeah, yeah, I see all of them. No, I studied. No, I appreciate that. I ain't even playing the game. You can't. Boy.
Starting point is 01:32:01 They said he can't. The real deal. Hold on, I got one. I'm a latest technician. Hold on, I got one. I'm a technician. Denzel Ward, number one. That goddamn stingly. Now everybody can play cone, but it's different.
Starting point is 01:32:13 I'm talking about that. Remember the play? You just saying PS2. No, hold on. I'm talking about technical. Like, it's different. The skill set, you know, watching somebody six two do it and watching somebody, how tall are you? Six foot.
Starting point is 01:32:29 Yeah, it's different. Oh, he's so fucking fluid, but he has the footwork. Number one. When I ran the deep, the... Higgins, oh Higgins. You see that was Higgins? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm mad.
Starting point is 01:32:38 Right, y'all take it. Oh, dog. No, that's... Dindy, thanks for joining us. Obviously the other day you know about it. I don't know how soon you heard about it, but Miles Garrett sent a letter to the Cleveland Browns. He's asking for a trade.
Starting point is 01:32:53 Care to comment anything you want to say? Oh, man, like I said earlier in the season, I feel me and Miles, we like Shaq and Kobe. So I've been saying that. So I want to play with Miles Garrett. You know, I don't want him to leave but shoot. If he leave what's up you asking him to? I don't know just check the details under the trade I might be in there but nah I don't
Starting point is 01:33:13 know man like I want to always say I love Cleo I'm a hometown kid in Cleveland and shoot I mean I want to stay home when Miles is saying we got to get the same rolling but you never know that's the NFL we'll see what happens. You also have to understand we look at the landscape of the NFL to get the same rolling, but we never know. That's NFL. We'll see what happens. You also have to understand, we look at the landscape at the NFL, you get the teams that win consistently year in and year out. There's one position that allows you to contend for a Lombardi trophy, and that's the quarterback position. Now the Browns haven't been able to find a quarterback adequate enough to make sure they're always in contention year in and year out. So at some point you do understand where Miles Garrett is coming from about his wish and hopes to contend for L'Avario
Starting point is 01:33:46 Yeah, no doubt. I mean, that's the main thing like I mean just last year we had the number one defense Yeah, so I mean we got things kind of settled off a lot of that in so like I said earlier We need to solidify the quarterback position like quarterback been hurt and we just been rotating guys in and out And it's hard to win like that in the NFL Do you feel you best DB in the league? No doubt. Like you said, I feel I'm a technician. I feel I'm the number one technician in the league, corner. I feel I'm a playmaker too. I make play. I'm the most playmaking corner out there in the game or whatever. It's the funny thing when you talk about DBs, right? 95% of DBs play not to get
Starting point is 01:34:20 beat. You got 5% play to make a play. There's a difference. There's a complete difference. You don't understand. I can see and talk about DB Play. I like DB Play as opposed to Receiver more. Who you think? I want you to be honest with yourself. Do you think at any point in your career, right now, when you came in, when you was in college, that you could cover me? I feel that's a rhetorical question. I just want to know if you really feel you can do that. Yes! Like, serious?
Starting point is 01:34:48 Serious. You think you can get over it? And you're prime. I can get over your ass right now. I'll tell you what, one click you got a hand up and I'm back. I'll tell you what, for one I ain't having no clicks. I really couldn't
Starting point is 01:35:04 dig up out of it like I wanted to. When he stabbed I cleats. I ain't see it. I ain't see it. I just seen it. I really couldn't dig about it like I wanted to. When he stabbed, I was just going to go up under it. I couldn't get up under it because I had no grip. Yeah. I'm going to say the old Ocho, he would have got around that. Yeah, yeah. That's the old Ocho. I'm 57.
Starting point is 01:35:15 Now he's just an old Ocho. Not old Ocho, the old Ocho. But let me ask you this. When you look at Jerry Judy, he came to Cleveland after some years in Denver. And the quarterback play had a lot to do with that. Now, he was technical. Now you talk about I can imagine those were those one on one because he's technical. Yeah, he can get in and out of breaks. He got great movement. What did you see? What what do you think the biggest difference was between him in Cleveland and him in Denver?
Starting point is 01:35:44 I think it could have just been opportunities for real opportunities but like you say he's a smooth raw runner. He go get in and out them breaks like that like and practice we going at it every time so we getting each other better for the games but yeah I think it's just opportunities getting the opportunity to get the ball more and being that number one guy he the number one guy for us and he been making it happen and shit. How was it having Jamus in the locker room? We see the clip of Jameis being dubbed, giving those sermons. No, I love Jameis, man. Jameis is a great quarterback.
Starting point is 01:36:12 I feel like he is giving us the best chance to win. He's going to throw that ball when he gets out there. But just a great team guy in the locker room. What you see on film and the clips, viral clips, that's really who he is. That's him. So you got to like that's really who he is. That's him, so you gotta appreciate that and love who he is. Listen, since you've been in the league right now and you understand the landscape of the receivers,
Starting point is 01:36:33 who do you think the best receiver in the game is? Or just give me your top three based on those you played against. For those you played against. Like since I've been in the NFL, they're like right now. Oh, right now, that's right now. Right now. I'm going to put Jamar up there.
Starting point is 01:36:47 Just being having to see him two times a year. That's always going to be a battle. So Chase, Devontae, when I went against him, Adams, Jefferson. Yes, okay. What you said, three or five? What you said? I mean, your top three is good. Yeah, I'm good with that. Is there five? What you said? I mean, your top three is good. Y'all can go with that.
Starting point is 01:37:05 Is there someone that gives you trouble? Like when I talk about DVs, obviously during my playing day, and I think of someone that gave me trouble, it was only one. And that was Rivas. Rivas, yeah. It was only one, you know? Regardless of where it was in my career,
Starting point is 01:37:17 it was technically Sal. He was patient. N***a had patience like Sallie Mae. Well, you know, people ain't finna pay Sallie Mae. Kinda patiently had to go to the lines. So nothing I did would really work. He was armbar, he was always in position, and then his ball skills.
Starting point is 01:37:31 He had the balls, you have the same ball skills. You and Derrick Stingley might be the only two I know that have the lead ball skills that don't get impatient. They don't panic when the ball is in the air. That's the biggest thing. Nice and calm. But he had that same thing.
Starting point is 01:37:44 What receiver gives you trouble? If there was one, it's okay to be honest. Yeah, I'm gonna be honest. Like, it's a lot of great receivers, but I don't feel no one just give me like, oh, it's just crazy trouble. No, but when I first came into the league, Antonio Brown though, going against him as a rookie,
Starting point is 01:38:00 I feel like, okay, you know, this is really a matchup. Like, he put pressure on me. Right, right. I mean, it's a lot like Chase, like, that is really a matchup. Like he put pressure on me. Right. I mean, it's a lot like Chase, like that's a tough matchup and stuff like that. But I don't think guys and it's too many guys is really just, I feel working. Yeah, I ain't working out. Right. Okay.
Starting point is 01:38:14 I got you. I got you. I would look at it looking at your size. I would say they're not really the big receivers. You know, like T.O. was a big receiver. Julio was a big receiver. Guys that play through contact. I would think a smaller guy that's your size like, oh yeah, right, right. It's those big guys that they use their physicality.
Starting point is 01:38:32 They want you to try to put your hands on them so they can play through that contact. How do you adjust that? How do you adjust to that? Do you prefer playing against bigger receivers knowing that you can transition better than them? Knowing that it takes them a while to get out there breaking. I didn't see you, but you're twitching your leg now. What you prefer? That's a good question. That's a tougher part too, going against a bigger receiver. Like, let's say Mike Evans.
Starting point is 01:38:52 I think it depends on where you at on the field too. Like, we in a red zone, okay then, they might get a little tired. They trying to throw a jump ball. But I feel when we in a big field, I don't really have no issue where they big receiver, short receiver, or whatever, just using my quickness and and technique I feel that's what put me in position. Yeah. How do you stop because I think the hardest ball to stop the hardest for to stop is the back shoulder. I knew it. How do you stop that back shoulder because if you are
Starting point is 01:39:13 if you behind him he's gonna throw the goal ball if you if you if you're in front of him he's gonna back shoulder you. How do you how do you defend that? Really you trying to dictate the route so I'm gonna take away the nine the deep ball first and force him to cause I mean that's a tough throw you got to dictate the route so I'm gonna take away the nine the deep ball first and then force them though Cuz I mean, that's a tough throw You got to really be on time and like the only guys are really seen on great time is Aaron Rodgers and Devontae And that's green Bay and Green Bay is when they were able to hit that back shoulder like that So the back shoulder, I don't think that's go beat you or in a game like you want to take away that nine ball first That's why I'm taking away and then I'm just gonna compete back on the back shoulder All right, that's what's up
Starting point is 01:39:46 Denzel Ward Cleveland Browns all-world DB says hey, then miles Garrett might be a package deal No, he didn't say that without Garrett the man who prayed he wants to play with miles Garrett Hopefully it's in Cleveland, but it doesn't seem like miles wants to finish his career in Cleveland And don't come on. Come on down to Cincinnati. Nah, he don't want to. But like you said, and you want to win also. I want to win.
Starting point is 01:40:10 That's why you play this game. Yeah, you can make a lot of money. All the wars, the all pros and the provos, that's nice. But you want to be at this game and not doing what we're doing here today. So good luck down the road. Thanks for stopping by night cap We appreciate it. You can tell appreciate y'all. I sure sure you can't come from you though. Yes
Starting point is 01:40:29 Yeah, I know that you know, I can't yeah. Yeah. I know you be him up. I ain't That's it oh We done we're Debo at We're Debo at a check. He goes to a check. Yeah, I just want Where D-Bo at? Where D-Bo at? Hey, Chad. He gonna see you in August. Chad, I just want y'all to know how serious this is. It's not a game.
Starting point is 01:40:49 I'm finna start training right now. Six months, I got six months. I'm gonna holla at Adesanya, cause Adesanya, we probably had the same skillset, same height. I'm finna beat his motherfucking ass. I promise you, that's on my kids. And I just want-
Starting point is 01:41:01 You got the same skillset. As Adesanya. Height, you know, just, you know, I'm, I'm slender. Or maybe that's the only thing y'all got. Y'all, y'all slim. Okay. So I, I, that my fight style needs to be just like his. I can't, I can't talk. McGregor's too short. That's not really my, I'm not running. They, I'm not running nowhere, man. Anyway, Chad, I love y'all. I appreciate you. Uh, it's coming. It's coming. Just know.
Starting point is 01:41:26 I'm going to put this out there. I'm looking for a co-host. Around August. August, you can take Ocho's seat like probably around mid-August to September. So I'm looking for a co-host. It's going to be Unken, uh, somebody else. Unken whoever. Gus. He's going to be put out of commission.
