Starting point is 00:03:14 This episode of Nightcap is brought to you by KolaGuard, a non-invasive colon cancer screening test. Currently, colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer related deaths in the U.S. And it's on the rise in people under the age of 50. But when caught at early stages, colon cancer is survivable in 90% of the people, so screening and early detection are key to reducing overall colon cancer deaths. And a great one-of-a-kind way to feel more in control of your colon cancer screening
Starting point is 00:03:40 is through the colar guard test, a prescription-based test with none of the prep that's required for a colonoscopy. The ColiGuard test is the only FDA approved non-invasive option that looks for both altered DNA and blood in your stool, which can indicate the presence of abnormal cells. This test offers convenience and ease of use and the kit is delivered right to your door. Once you complete the kit, it is returned to the lab and results are available within two weeks. Plus, it's affordable, most insured patients pay zero dollars. And if you do need a colonoscopy, as a follow-up, most insurance plans cover that as well.
Starting point is 00:04:17 So if you're 45 or older and at average risk, ask your healthcare provider about screening for colon cancer with the ColiGuard test. You can request a ColiGuard prescription today at coliguard.com slash podcast. The ColiGuard test is intended to screen adults 45 and older at average risk for colorectal cancer. Do not use the ColiGuard test if you've had adenomas, have inflammatory biodisease, or certain hereditary syndromes, or personal or family history of colorectal cancer. The ColiGuard test is not a replacement for colonoscopy in high-risk patients.
Starting point is 00:04:50 ColiGuard test performs in adults aged 45 to 49, it's estimated, and based on a large clinical study of patients 50 and older. False positives and false negatives can occur. ColiGuard is available by prescription only. On show, the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to sign free agent Sam Darnold to a three-year deal, $100.5 million. Seattle is giving Donald, Donald 55 million in guarantees. You like this move for Seattle. I like the move because I don't like the move for Seattle.
Starting point is 00:05:35 I like the move for Sam Donald though. I like the move for Sam Donald. We saw a small sample size of Sam Donald in New York. Okay. He didn't really have nothing to ride in. We saw a small sample size of Sam Donnell in Carolina. He didn't really have nothing to ride in. Boy, you put goddamn Sam Donnell over there on the Minnesota Vikings. Boy, he look like Joe Montana. Boy, he look like Joe Montana. You hear me? He ain't got that in Seattle though. Can I
Starting point is 00:06:02 tell you why he look like that though? They got a young bull over there named, last name Hawkinson. Huh? Yeah. They got a young bull over there, probably the best receiver in NFL outside of Jamal Chase and Justin Jefferson. They got Addison, young bull, crazy, giving you crazy work.
Starting point is 00:06:21 So that's how he was able to get paid like that. So now he get that money down now. Now you got to come and show up. You have certain, you've got certain quarterbacks that elevate the receivers around them. Do you have certain quarterbacks that need the receivers around them to elevate the quarterback play? So now you got to come in and show out. Right now, all they have right now is JSN. I like JSN. I like him. You know, they got to get something else over there.
Starting point is 00:06:53 You know, let Tyler Lockett go. You know, let DK Metcalf go. I'm not sure what kind of rebuilding stage they in, but they playing with Legos. They done started over from scratch. For me, I don't think that Sam Donald is better than Gino Now maybe you didn't want to give Gino an extension Gino's gonna make 31 million this year He probably go look for something north of 40 you get the Sam Donald for about 33 million
Starting point is 00:07:15 I'll go back and look the last two to three years Gino has outplayed Hmm Gino has outplayed it. Mmm. Now maybe, hey, you want to move on? We let Lockett go. We letting DK go. Hey, we're gonna start fresh. We're gonna get all that up. All that Pete Carroll, we're gonna get that up out of here. Right. But I don't think Sam Darnold is better than Gino. Well, you know he's is better than Gino.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Well, you know he's not better than Gino, huh? You know he's not better than Gino. But I'm just saying we have to understand why Sam Darnold was able to do what he did in Minnesota. I always say a quarterback is only as good as his opponent cast. There are very few quarterbacks in the NFL right now that can go to any team in regards to what's around them they can excel regardless of who's around them Lamar Jackson is one of them Josh Allen is another one who did who did more with less
Starting point is 00:08:16 there's a few others I'm not gonna say no names and there's a few others they can go on any team I don't care what you put around me I'm gonna get the job no matter what I don't care what you put around me, I'm gonna get the job done no matter what. I don't care how much talent, how much skill I got around. It's because of the onus and what I can do and that's why I'm special. Hell, that's why Josh Allen just got the deal he got. Six for 330. That's why he got the deal he just got. That's why the quarterbacks like Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow make the big money. Some people say well Joe Burrows only do what he's doing because he had Jamar Chase. Put him anywhere. Put him anywhere. The skill set doesn't change.
Starting point is 00:08:58 You being able to throw the ball doesn't change. All you need is the players around you to get the job done. Somebody said in the chat they offered Gino the same contract they offered Donald. Why would I take, why would I, so you mean to tell me I played the way I played I'm going to Pro Bowls and you gonna give me a two million dollar raise? Child please. Screw you. Child please. I mean I wish I might.
Starting point is 00:09:21 I like that for Gino too. Yeah. I like that for Gino. Oh Miami, that's a lot. I like that for Gino. Oh Miami, Miami's one of Miami's finest, you know, Smith. Sam Darnold ranked 14th in QBR, the seventh which was seven spots ahead of Smith in route to the Pro Bowl. But Darnold also had 11 sack debacle
Starting point is 00:09:39 in their wild card playoff loss to the Rams. If you look at it, the last two games, I think they played Detroit and they played the Rams. Yeah They play they play Detroit Yeah, they played Detroit cuz they had that come from behind win Then they played Detroit and the short mopped him and then they went to the playoffs in the Rams trust him. Mm-hmm. So he is His play is very, very receiver eccentric,
Starting point is 00:10:06 which means he really need quality players around him to elevate him. I don't believe he can elevate, they need to elevate him. And that's what you got with Jeddah. That's what you got with Hawkinson. That's what you got with an Aaron Jones. That's what you got with an Addison. Now it's gonna be very interesting to see
Starting point is 00:10:21 what they put around him. He only have Jackson Smith and Jigba that's still there. Or they have Noah Fant who's still there. But what are the other receivers that you're gonna pull it? No DK, no Tyler Lockett. So what are you gonna surround him with in order to, and hope you get the production this year that he gave Minnesota last year?
Starting point is 00:10:44 I mean, listen, I'm not sure who the owners are in Seattle, but I think they understand. They've been watching football long. It's Paul Allen's sister. Mr. Paul Allen? His sister. His sister. Paul Allen, yeah, he passed away
Starting point is 00:10:59 and left everything to his sister. They have enough scouts and people in place to understand why he played as well as he did. You know why. You know, I understand it's a business. I understand you have to pay him his money, but if you want to see him be as productive as he was, you need to get the same type of pizzas you won't get. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:11:21 You ain't going to get it just at Jefferson. You ain't going to find that. But there are some quality ribos you can get. The Puddy Rodham, the Puddy, the Pud, with J.S. in. They got a nice running back. And Kenneth Walker, Kenneth Walker the third, right? Kenneth Walker, yeah, and Charbonneau. They nice.
Starting point is 00:11:38 Well, they nice. They nice. So, I think they gonna be all right. But that's just, that's just very questionable about some of the moves they made with, for one, Lockett. I don't know, how you let the preacher go? I call Lockett the preacher's wife.
Starting point is 00:11:56 You can't let the preacher's wife go. You know? That goes against everything God's stand for. Now DK, he wanted his deal. They weren't gonna pay. Now, I understood that move, but, hey man. Hey, the business, the NFL is crazy. Sometimes they make you sit there and scratch your head.
Starting point is 00:12:15 But it's the nature of the business. You've been around it for so long, you play it, and you see how they operate, nothing should surprise you. Oh, Joe, I love what Jamar posted on IG. Know your worth, then add tax. Oh yeah, he don't play. But when he posted on there, Ocho. Yeah, I saw it, I saw it.
Starting point is 00:12:34 He don't play. Oh, you don't, man, you're not listening to me. Give me me, give me, give me, give me me. They played with you last year. There's certain players that love the game and you know you can play with them, right? You can play with them. You know, when the NFL knows you love the game so much that you're coming to play, they take advantage of you.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Now, you got somebody like this who showed you, all right, man, I'm gonna sit out. I ain't cut no deals. At all. Now you played with me last year, this year, nah, yesterday's price ain't today's price. Nah. I need all that.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Today's price is two years from now price. I'm charging. I know the economy. I know we wiped out a lot of games over the last couple of days, the Dow, and the NASDAQ is down, but I need that back. I need all that. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:38 Oh yeah. For what y'all did to me? Uh-huh. I cut nothing. I'm charging. I remember when I was growing up and my grandfather would take me and my brother, we'd go clothes, get Easter shopping. We'd buy one of them, you know, buy two suits, you'd get two suits for $99. They'd throw the tie in the pocket square for free. Right.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Jamar say I'm charging everything a la carte. It's 15 million for I let the league and receiving yards. It's 15 million I let the league and touchdown. It's 15 million I let the league and catches. We're about 45. Make it right. Make the money right. Tobey, you and Mike Brown, make the money right. Hold on. Hold on. And if it ain't what it should be, I ain't touching the field. Oh no. I'm not touching the field? I'm not touching the field.
Starting point is 00:14:25 I'm not touching the field until week eight, because I want to make sure I get my credit this season. That plan that I will do that over. And then y'all can pay me every I'm not cutting. Hey, T, I will really love you. But I ain't gonna save no money now. I'm just letting you know, I ain't saving no money. They're going to be no scraps.
Starting point is 00:14:43 Mm hmm. Oh, that's funny, man. You know, I ain't saving no money. Ain't gonna be no scraps. Mm-hmm. Oh, that's funny, man. That's funny. They don't never cut, they don't cut these networks, no slides. They don't cut them no breaks. They can make a big top dollar. So, I need that. They ain't got no choice.
Starting point is 00:15:01 I need that. Oh, and plus you already told me you were gonna make me the highest paid. Yeah, you gotta be careful. Hey, Ojo, you better have say, we're just staying together, and you don't promise your girl, or I'm gonna, hey.
Starting point is 00:15:12 Well, hold on, hold on. Don't forget, they done lied to me once already now. Yeah! They said it, but they told me they were gonna pay me last year. Don't worry about it. So now you're worried, now you're worried I really can't stand on your word,
Starting point is 00:15:24 because you told me one thing last year, and then you bumped the system on me. Mm-hmm. You bumped me. So I don't know what to believe now. So now you get a post like that. Now it's strictly business. Oh, that's all it's ever been. Because y'all told me y'all were going to take care of me. Now I look at y'all and you say your promises like pie crust,
Starting point is 00:15:45 thin and easily broken. I can't believe nothing you tell me. Well, that's a good one. Yeah, I can't believe nothing you tell me, Ocho. I wrote that one down before, I remember that one. That's a good one. Yeah. So I need all that. I want everything I would promise yesterday
Starting point is 00:15:59 and everything y'all took in today. You remember Hall of Night, we used to say we'd shake the bank. Hall of Night, yeah. That dude, Snaggertooth, Snagg in today. Yeah. You remember all the night, we say we shake the bank. All the night, yeah. That dude snaggertooth, snaggertooth. Yeah. Mama need a dress, baby need new heels. And you need teeth, now roll the dice, both folks.
Starting point is 00:16:15 I don't roll them, I don't roll them. I told you kids give me bad luck. He's a hit that kid out of here. But then the rest of them, hold on, what? That's like, great. This my place, this my place. Kid ain't going nowhere. Kid mobbing nobody.
Starting point is 00:16:32 Ain't nobody here. Because I'm gonna stick you, and I'm definitely gonna stick you. And I'm gonna stick that Snow Walker grandma boy's leg. That's it. That's it. That's it, he crapped out. And he was hot. Hold on, bro. Had you won we the page you know, I paid a man on by the day and I ain't selling punk But uh, you're my chase won't that bread on Joe. Yeah, I need that get your money chase get your money
Starting point is 00:17:03 Chase was oh Joe check, check this out. Last year he was open to a deal, averaged around 36 million, if structured right. Bingoes couldn't get it done. Now, triple crown. Triple crown, triple the price. Crazy. Money, money, yeah, yeah. Money, money, yeah, yeah. Money, money, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:26 Get them Chase. Ooh, the highest paid non-quarterback is 40 million. Chase said, I need, give me, give me, hey, I need 41. I need my five years. And then when they got, you see, hey, the first three years, I need a five years. And then when they got, you see, hey, the first three years, I need a hundred piece. Make it a hundred and five.
Starting point is 00:17:52 A hundred piece. Make it a hundred and five. Just a good measure. As a matter of fact, you know what? I had to take out a laws of London policy. Just in case I get hurt, As a matter of fact, you know what? I had to take out a laws of London policy just in case I get hurt that can replace the value that I was gonna lose.
Starting point is 00:18:10 I need that money back too, so throw that in there. Throw that in there. Absolutely, absolutely. Hey, it's been a good time, it's been a good time. It's been a good day for that. For me, NFL. Had they, this is what the Bengals, because they waited till the last minutes, they could have had Jesse Bates for 12 million. They didn't do it. He leaves, gets 15, 16 from the Falcons. T. Higgins. They could have had T. Higgins for about 23 mill a year.
Starting point is 00:18:43 Not even have to pay him north of 30. Jamar Chase, you could have had T. Higgins for about 23 mill a year. Now you're gonna have to pay him north of 30. Jamar Chase, you could have had it for 35, 36, say 36, now you're gonna have to play him 40 plus. Trey Hendrickson, could have had it for 25. Now you gotta pay him, now you're gonna have to be, Sandwiching Men somewhere between 30, he wants north of 30. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Two back to back season with 17 and a half sacks. I can't say I disagree with it. Yeah. And I look at, I look at what Philly's been able to do with Devontae Smith, with AJ Brown, obviously Saquon, Jena Hurts, and being able to play, pay everybody. Do you think they were able to do it because they paid early? Yes. They struck before it got hot, which was great understanding what would happen if they waited too long. Bro, you see these guys practice every day.
Starting point is 00:19:34 You see how these guys meet. You see them play. They don't get in trouble. What are you waiting for? The longer you wait, it's almost like you're betting against them. Yeah, basically. They're gonna have a down year. They going to get injured, decrease the value.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Well, there's a chance that happens, but what happens when it doesn't? Doesn't, right. I never looked at it like that, you know? Betting against your own players by not paying. Yes! Yeah, when you franchise tag me, that's basically what you put a song like that. You're betting.
Starting point is 00:20:10 I'm betting against you. That's crazy. I've never heard it said like that. I just saw it as I don't value you long term. I didn't even think about the concept of, you know what, I'm betting against you because I don't think you can do it again. So you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna tag you.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Right. Now show me. I ain't gonna give you the long term. I'm gonna make you prove it again. And guess what, T. Higgins? I believe that was a fluke the last three years. I'm gonna tag you again. That's heavy.
Starting point is 00:20:40 That's heavy work. Man, where's my chapstick? Man, my lips lips dry as hell. Damn. The Denver Broncos were busy today. They reached a three-year deal with Hefanga. Hefanga, the deal is worth $45 million, includes $20 million in guaranteed money. Hefanga has played his entire four-year career with the 49ers and was named All-Pro in 2022. Hours later, news broke that his non-former and 49ers teammate, Dre Greenlaw,
Starting point is 00:21:13 will be joining him. Greenlaw will sign a three-year, $35 million deal. The addition of Greenlaw and Hufanga, Denver Booster, are already already stout defend Broncos defense that ranked third in points allow and Features defensive player of the year Patsy or tan the second I Like it yeah, yeah, I found the absolutely He's come off a co right is that him? With a long hair yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I call him look Paula Marlow Who that? Dre?
Starting point is 00:21:41 With the long hair. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I call him little Polly Marlow. Yeah, I think he went to USC too. Yeah, and Green Law, Green Law coming off of um. Achilles. Coming off of Achilles. Mary Turin, Achilles in the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Super Bowl, yeah. Running on the field. And he obviously, when he came back, young Bull got upset and walked off the field. So I'm glad to see him come back and you know, go get paid and that's always a dope thing to see players get hurt and you understand how ownership really feels about you. After injury like that, that magnitude,
Starting point is 00:22:17 but to see him come back and get his money is a good thing. Yeah, I'm so glad that Greenlaw's back, but Greenlaw has an injury history. I don't think he's played but one season in this totality. What? Yeah, he's been Nick pretty much his entire career. Jeez. So the Broncos boasters their defense.
Starting point is 00:22:36 They got a run stuffing linebacker, a range safety to pair him with a PS2. The Broncos, they, talking to Sean Payton briefly, say, give us a little time, we gonna be okay. They making moves. You can tell who's serious. You can tell who's serious about winning. Cool.
Starting point is 00:23:00 What was that? Yeah, I see, what was 22? What was that? What? Yeah, I see. What was 22? He only played two games in 24. I mean, he played 21 and 22. It seems to. So it's kind of here to miss.
Starting point is 00:23:27 Hopefully he's healthy. Yeah. Cause he can play. Oh, he could go now. He came from Houston, didn't he? Oh, was he always, was he a 49ers drafted him? Okay. Oh, uh, I sure the one that went to the Texans, was started out at the 49ers. He's the one, okay, okay, okay. But hopefully, hopefully he can stay healthy and him and Hufanga can have some depth and some leadership and the Broncos, the Bronco country gonna be in good hands. ["Dreams of a New World"] country, you're going to be in good hands.
Starting point is 00:24:12 The commanders are not messing around with quarterback, Jane Daniels, rookie contract, apparently not satisfied with Brandon Coleman as their left tackle. The commanders swung for one of the league's most established tackles in Laramie Tunsil. In the trade, the commanders get Laramie Tunsell and the 2025 fourth round pick. The Texans get 2025 third round pick, a 2025 seventh round pick, a 2026 second round pick, and a 2026 fourth round pick. Tunsell is coming off a season in which he graded 93%
Starting point is 00:24:41 has block win rate, which is 10th best, and a 75% run block win rate, which was 39. Obviously he's a better passer, pass protector than a run blocker, but hey, Jane Daniels gets some help at the left tackle position and you see Ocho, they're going for it. Yeah. Well, listen, that's what you call going all in. You think about it, Larry McTunzel, right? Why would you let one of your better tackles, obviously, you let him go?
Starting point is 00:25:16 Coach O, do you remember how many times, what you called that sack last year? Last year, man, why would I just finna say that? I would just finna say, look how many times, see they strive for sack. So when I look at the numbers that we're talking about, And why would I just say that? I would just say, look how many times C.D.S. Ryle was sacked. So when I look at the numbers that we're talking about with him being better when it comes to path protection, I mean, what do the commanders do most of the time anyway?
Starting point is 00:25:38 Pass the ball. I think I like the move. I think it's a good pick, a good pickup. I'm not sure if, hey, listen, I wouldn't have no problem going from Houston to the Chocolate City either. So going from one franchise that's headed in the right direction to another franchise that's headed in the right direction, I ain't got no issues or problems with that. He gonna miss the no state income tax but he'll be okay. Okay yeah yeah yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:12 Because you remember I told you, I mean in Miami he goes from Miami to Houston. Yeah. Because wasn't he in Miami? I think Miami drafted him because he failed. He got drafted. That ball. Yeah. With the mask. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But I like, I look, I'm confused by what, now maybe, maybe the Texans are going to take
Starting point is 00:26:32 a tackle in the draft. I don't know. I don't, you know, mainly I look at the skill position and, and, uh, corners and linebacker things of that nature. So I'm not really too familiar with the offensive line. I'm confused by what the Texans are doing, considering. CJ, one of the most sacked quarterbacks in the NFL, and his best protector, you're moving on.
Starting point is 00:26:53 Okay, maybe it was a deal that was too good to pass up because you get a, let me see, you get a 20-20, you get a 20-25 third round pick, and a 20-25 seventh round pick, and 26 you get a second round pick, and a 20-20, you get a 20-25 third round pick, and a 20-25 seventh round pick, and 26 you get a second round pick, and a 20-26. Now maybe you're gonna package that, and there's something in the draft that you wanna get. Don't know.
Starting point is 00:27:13 But I love what the commanders are doing. We got two more years with Jayden Daniels on this rookie contract. Rookie contract. You gotta take advantage of it. You seen where the money going? 60 million is the highest paid. So what's that number gonna be in two years?
Starting point is 00:27:35 65, 68, 70, where we going? That's crazy. Crazy work. Hell yeah. Crazy. Crazy work. Yeah. So you, I'm taking you, you like to move. Let me ask you this. Yeah. What do you think that, what do you think the command, what do you think the commander's ceiling are now given there's in the same division, they're in the same division as the Eagles.
Starting point is 00:27:49 You got the Rams. Who has made the playoffs last year? Who made the playoffs at the Eagles? The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles.
Starting point is 00:27:57 The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. The Eagles. You got the Rams. Who has made the playoffs last year? Who made the playoffs?
Starting point is 00:28:09 Oh, Detroit. Do you see a bounce back season for the 49ers if they get some of their playoffs back healthy? I'm not sure about a bounce back season for the 49ers because they have too many too many pieces missing. They're a depot going to the commanders now. Brandon Naika is coming off an ACL injury. Then you got Ricky Purcell. I think I said his name right there. He showed flashes of what he could do. Brandon Jennings, who is also really, really,
Starting point is 00:28:39 really good player, very good player. So I'm not sure what they're gonna look like with those two. They're not proven as of yet. Hey, the Commandos, they ain't playing. You got you got Terry McLaurin, you got Devo Samuels, they went to the NFC Championship last year. Laren Tucker wasn't there. You add that to your offensive line. The boast everything up. You got Bryan Robinson in the backfield. I mean, shoot, everything's on up and up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:10 I mean, to me, to be able to compete with the Eagles, the only team in the NFC West, NFCE, excuse me, that's not doing that, is the goddamn John's Cowboys. Now John's ain't do too much. They ain't made one move yet. Well, look, the Cowboys don't believe in free agency, Ocho. They haven't paid big money for a free agency since Greg Hardy. Remember they got Greg Hardy, Ocho?
Starting point is 00:29:32 Yeah. Man, they trippin', dude. Oh, my bad. What happened? And let's check it out on the divisional rivals, the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones and Knott made a splash today first He resigned long snapper Trent Seek. Okay. There we go. There we go. That's a story three-year extension That's the start the long then it's not a Williams one year three million dollars
Starting point is 00:29:57 Javante stats 139 carries that was time for 35th 513 yards time for 42nd for was tied for 35th. 513 yards, tied for 42nd. Four touchdown, tied for 40th. 3.7 yard average. Ha ha ha ha ha. That man signed a long snapper, two or three year extension.
Starting point is 00:30:25 And like, yeah, we got better today. It's a start, huh? It's a start. Listen, you got to crawl before you walk in anything that you do. Well, damn, you must be a snake because you don't do no butt crawl. When you going to start walking? The Cowboys have not signed a free agent over $6 million since Greg Hardy in 2015. That was 11 years ago.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Oh, so they have, oh yeah, ain't nothing changing. Ain't nothing changing. It's not gonna change. Back to the 49ers, Ward went to Indy. He gone to Indy, him and- Who Funga, the Broncos. He gone to Indy. He and um. Whofanga, the Broncos. Broncos. Green law. Broncos.
Starting point is 00:31:08 They just released Kyle Yustchek. Damn, for real? Deebo got traded. Yeah. It almost seemed like they had a, look. But they had to let everybody go cause they getting ready to pay, they getting ready to pay, whatchamacallit.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Ocho, you keep going for it. And so if you pay it off, it's okay because you keep kicking the can down the road. It's like during the recession when they had this thing called interest only loans. Now interest only loans, you're going to have a balloon payment that's going to come due. Now, hopefully you don't hit it big or you find somebody else to take that house over, but if you don't you gotta let it go. Okay? They kept spending and spending and spending. They kept getting close, but they couldn't close the deal. So now I got to blow it up and start all over again.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Yeah. Because I got to pay the quarterback. And see they went for it long as they had that quarterback on that rookie contract. Now he's no longer on that rookie contract. He's gonna want 35, $40 million. But if I'm them, hey bro, you gonna get this Baker Mayfield Sam Donald. 100 mil, three years for 100 mil. If you don't want it, listen,
Starting point is 00:32:20 if you don't want that, I don't know what to tell you. Yeah, I mean, um, if it's bad out there, Ocho, it's bad. It's hard to find a quarterback, huh? It's hard to find a quarterback. If you find a good one, if you find a good one that's a rookie, you know you got a three year window. You got a three year window to do as much as you can offensively and defensively, putting the pieces around them to see if you can make it run. Mm-hmm. Hey, but Jayden almost did it in his first year.
Starting point is 00:32:51 Almost. You was one game away. One game. Man, man, please. Oh, Joe, the Cardinals are signing past rusher, Josh Sweatt, to a four-year deal worth 76.4 million dollars sweat is reunited with former Eagles defensive coordinator and current Cardinals head coach Jonathan Galen in the desert if this decide the Eagles are drafting a DN or trading for specific DN in Dallas
Starting point is 00:33:20 because remember oh Joe what's Williams Williams just went to, oh, he went to New England. Did he tackle? Yeah, see, he's in New England. Yeah. So now they still have Carter, they still have Jordan Davis. They still have, what's the other guy? I think Brandon Graham's gonna retire.
Starting point is 00:33:42 He retore his tricep. What's the other guy? He had another guy. Oh, they have Nolan Smith III, excuse me, Junior. But look, clearly, everybody thought they had a chance to get Miles Garrett. That's not happening. So now we gotta redirect that focus and then,
Starting point is 00:34:06 hey, if we gotta go in the draft, we go in the draft. That's what we normally do. That's how we got Jalen Carter. That's how we got Jordan Davis. That's how we got Nolan Smith Jr. That's how we got all the players that we got. We drafted them. How I say, hey, trust me in how we are trust.
Starting point is 00:34:22 So, yeah, Hunt, that's his name Hunt. He had a big game in the Super Bowl. Hell, what D lineman didn't have a big game in the Super Bowl. They went hunting. They were taking turns. But you know, Ocho, you know how this is. Bro, they're gonna come rob your chicken house and get to go. They're gonna get to find the chicken that's low in the best days. You're taking two premier pass rushes. Hey, we're gonna take them, take them up off you. You couldn't hold on to Slay because, you know,
Starting point is 00:34:51 his contract was kind of cost prohibited. Right. But we feel, hey, we thought we drafted your replacement last year, Cooper DeGene. The nation of Venice, baby. It is, that's absolutely correct. Zach Wilson signs a one year deal with Miami. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:11 You buying Zach Wilson to the, you getting a Zach Wilson jersey? What you talking about man? I'm going to get me a Zach Wilson jersey. Listen, you saw me, I wore two jerseys on this show. I got every soccer jersey you can think of. I wore a Jamar Chay jersey, and what's the other jersey I wore on the show? Wear it out.
Starting point is 00:35:32 You got, how many, how many Zach Wilson jerseys you got? That one green one I had on that time on the show? Wear it out. When you get back to your car, you'll have four more. They found somebody like Zach Wilson, so they's like, hey. Hey, listen, don't don't talk about my dog. Listen, you know, we had a better season in New York than Aaron Rodgers. Zach.
Starting point is 00:35:55 Zach Wilson. You know, they say, hey, Zach, I know you're gonna see this, baby, I love you. I'm glad to have you in the city. I'm like, if you need someone to show you around, I'm the perfect tour guide. You know, I don't go out, I'm in bed by nine o'clock, but we gotta go, we gotta go hit tootsies.
Starting point is 00:36:12 Zach, we gotta hit tootsies. I'm sure you're probably married, you have a wife, but it's okay, I just wanna talk football. I wanna talk football, they got chicken wings, seafood rice and lobster tail, they got chocolate cake, and we can use our peripheral vision to make sure we focus, but still see what's around us. You hear me?
Starting point is 00:36:29 You gotta be aware of your surroundings. So I'll let you boy, Zach, my number's still the same. You said they got chocolate tail. What you say they got? Chocolate cake, uh. I be talking fast. Oh, yeah, I know you chocolate cake. I know the cake, you talking about chocolate.
Starting point is 00:36:41 Yeah, OK. Let you tell it. Oh, no, no, not like that. Not like that. I'm really, I'm really talking about food. Oh, if you've never been to Tussies, you gotta go to Tussies for the food. You have, I know it. Listen, try the food. Okay. Shrimp Alfredo, chicken and shrimp. I'm allergic to shellfish.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Oh, my bad, my bad. So you can't eat seafood, right? You can't eat lobster either, huh? No. Damn. Oh, they call it Mari. Hey, you can't eat salmon? Oh, that's a fish.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Yeah, damn, you can't eat nothing. Shellfish, mullets, oyster, scallop, lobster, crab. None of that? No. Jesus! Anything that has iodine in it. Can I ask you a question? I can't do betadine on my skin.
Starting point is 00:37:34 Anything that has betadine in it will burn my skin. Burn? You mean like itch, itching? No, it'll burn the skin. I can't put betadine on my skin. It instantly discolors my skin So I have to use like father clean or something like that. Okay. Okay. Hey, how do you find some out? Like how do you find something like that out when they put it on my black ass of my skin discolored?
Starting point is 00:37:58 The same way you found out that you put bleach in your washing machine when you get colors and they spot it That's how I found out. I didn't know. Well, I knew I was allergic to shellfish, but it didn't really dawn on me that okay, Betadine has iodine in it. Right. Right. After trying. He told me a couple of times, I'm like, damn, why my hair? Oh, so you did it multiple times? Yeah. I was like, why my skin discoloring? Right.
Starting point is 00:38:26 You're like, was Sharpie? And then, you know, went to was like, why my skin discoloring? Right. You're like, well Sharpie? And then you know, went to that like, well, it has iodine. If you're allergic to shellfish, you're probably allergic to iodine because that's the, what people, what they've said, what they told me is that that's probably the common ingredient because there's iodine in shellfish, there's iodine in Betadine. So we recommend that you obviously clearly don't eat shellfish, there's iodine and Betadine, so we recommend that you obviously clearly don't eat shellfish, but stay away from Betadine and find another cleansing solution. Right.
Starting point is 00:38:51 I mean, that's what I did. The Panthers, cornerback J.C. Horne agreed to a four-year $100 million extension worth 70 million guaranteed, making him the highest paid DB in NFL history. I Like it. I like it. Listen, I'm a huge fan I'm a huge fan of DB play those of you in the chat that have watched the Carolina Panthers play Those you in the chat that are fans of defensive cornerbacks I know JC Horn is one that you like pass certain might be the best one who doesn't get the credit
Starting point is 00:39:24 He deserves based on his play whether it be man to man Know JC Horn is one that you like pass or tame might be the best one who doesn't get the credit He deserves based on his play whether it be man-to-man whether it be man-to-man bump and run or off in JC Horn I think he's one of the few that allows his defensive coordinator to do much more That they want to do defensively because of how well he can play man-to-man. I love JC Horn He's technically sound doesn't get the credit he deserves, is not showcased because of where he plays football at. There's a reason why they paid him what he did. There's a reason why they paid him what he did. I've been watching him. I've been watching him all these years and he's the
Starting point is 00:39:57 real deal. He's the real deal. He just didn't get the credit he deserves because of where he's playing at. He don't talk much either. He ain't gonna talk much but he gonna go out there and play. He gonna walk it every time. He real nice and the fact that he hurt his foot I forgot I think was maybe last year, year before last, he hurt his foot. Ocho, the Rams are going to release Cooper Cup if they cannot find a trade partner. What is the best landing spot for Cooper Cup? Oh, hey, that's a good one right there, boy.
Starting point is 00:40:29 I like that. That's a good question. A good landing spot for Cooper Cup. Pittsburgh? Oh, that's not fair. DK Metcalf, George Pickens, and Cooper Cup? Mm-hmm. I like that, huh? Mm like that huh? Hey you cooking. That's a good one. Listen I'm not I'm not about improving teams in AFC North unless it has to do
Starting point is 00:40:54 with the Bengals but the just the thought of that is nice. I like that. How about a veteran presence over in Green Bay? Another route runner. Yeah I can can see that as a slot. I like it. Yeah, for sure. You know, he can play on the outside, he can play on the inside, they can move around, he can play multiple positions.
Starting point is 00:41:13 Why not? I like that, a similar offense to what he just left. Hold on, Devo is gone. Why not Cuba Cupp? Right down the road to San Francisco. You ain't even gotta go that far. How much is gone. Why not Kubrick up right down the road to San Francisco? You ain't even go you ain't even got to go that far. How much is gonna cost us considering they're trying to it seemed like they're going to a cost-cutting move in Green Bay. They let Yuscek go. They traded Devo. They let Green Law. They let Hufanga.
Starting point is 00:41:40 You need you need a dog. Yeah, I get dog. Don't leave your quarterback out there to dry. Now Josh Allen is one of the few who can do it. I don't have no superstars around me. I got a Mari Cooper, but we're not using the Mari Cooper the way he should be used. Mari's a friend of yours. When he was in his prime. You hear me? They got Khalil Shakir. They got Coleman. What did you call him? and went to went to New England
Starting point is 00:42:06 Max what's his name? Max Hollins. He just signed two years. I just saw that. But I'm talking about that boy Every quarterback needs that boy Unless you're a quarterback that can elevate your team without one of them boys like a Josh Allen, you know, like a Lamar Jackson You need you need your number one, you know, like Lamar Jackson. You need your number one, you know, where if you tell me to hike the ball and I got, and I'm blindfolded, and there's a receiver that I can count on,
Starting point is 00:42:32 it's Cooper Cupp. Let me get that over here with Brock Perjury so we have something that he can count on every single down if there's somewhere I need to go with the ball. Are you willing, are you gonna, what about Houston Texans? Ooh, that's a good one
Starting point is 00:42:47 Nico Collins wait, no, they don't take deals probably gonna miss the decision. They just sign somebody No, he's not gonna be able to come back. Did the Texas just sign the receiver? I Don't know did I could have swore they just decided somebody or maybe I'm trippin Chat talk to me chat. Then the Texas just signed somebody or maybe I'm tripping. Chat, talk to me, chat. Then the Texas just signed somebody. Braxton Barrios. Braxton Barrios? That fan, the fan's guy that he was in. Yeah, he was in the Jets.
Starting point is 00:43:16 He was at the Patriots too, right? Listen, that's a good pickup, but I do like the Cooper Cup move. Also, the bolster that offers a receiving room. I like that. Actually, honestly, I like the 49 is better though. Yeah, Christian Kirk is gonna be available if he's not already available
Starting point is 00:43:39 because there are reports that he's gonna get released. He's kinda been nicked the last couple years. And so that contract is called Proherited. Yeah, he can run too, boy. Oh yeah, Kirk can run. He'll be nice over there in Houston. It's all about fitting, understanding the type of offense
Starting point is 00:43:56 you put these players into. Oh, he was traded to the Texans, okay. But the A, Ojo, that's shit, that team, they don't really think much about you. They trade you to a division opponent? Oh yeah, yeah. Most teams, they're like, look, I'm not trading you in the division,
Starting point is 00:44:13 I'm really trying to get you out of the AFC. Well, it depends on the player, you gotta be that boy, you have to be a difference maker. They're not trading difference makers in the division. That's what I tried to tell you. Difference makers, yeah. That shows you what Jacksonville thinks of him. They traded to a division. Damn the AFC, they traded him to within the division.
Starting point is 00:44:33 Right. Steph Curry has accepted a role with his alma mater, Davidson College, as an assistant general manager for basketball program. Steph becomes the first active player in the US, major professional sports, to take an administrative job with the NCAA team. When asked about Steph's new job,
Starting point is 00:44:53 Steve Kerr had some jokes. Well, if he asked to leave the game to go scout college, I'll probably say no, but it is Steph Kerr, so I'll probably say yes. I just hope he doesn't ask. Yeah. I like it. I mean, it's cool.
Starting point is 00:45:20 What did that make you General Manager of Oregon State? What did they make you General Manager of Oregon State? That would be nice. Uh-huh, no. What did they make you General Manager of FAMU? Okay, now we cooking. Now we cooking. Hey, now we talking. You hear me?
Starting point is 00:45:41 You make me anything having to do with family, I'm going. I'm going. I'm out. I'm out. Also, so I gotta have to find me a new partner, huh? No, no, no. I could do the show from Tallahassee. You ain't gotta find nothing.
Starting point is 00:45:55 And the Wi-Fi work just do Wi-Fi work just fine in Tallahassee. Ain't nothing wrong with it. Huh? Nah. Yeah. Hey, hey, hey, nothing wrong with it. Huh? Come on, man. Yeah. Listen, I will pick up and relocate to Tallahassee right now.
Starting point is 00:46:11 If the president called me, anybody of the governing body that has anything to do with family, you want me in Tallahassee to be anything. I don't care what it is. I'm packing up and I'm leaving right now Man, please
Starting point is 00:46:34 Damn what? Guess you uh, guess you want to be general manager fam you Listen you mean tell me I get to put on a suit and tie? Hey, you don't have to wear no suit and tie. But from the general manager, boy, I'm finna be, ooh, ooh. What general manager you don't wear a suit and tie? How many general managers? This one.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Every time you see me step out, I'ma be in a suit and tie. I'ma have an orange suit. I'ma have a green suit. I'm gonna have a green suit, I'm gonna have a Rattler pin, a Femur pin. That green suit, you gonna be looking like the Grinch. Who? Hey, one thing about it, when it come to fashion,
Starting point is 00:47:18 I don't play. So if I have on a suit, I'm gonna look sharp. I'm gonna be sharper than the number two pencil. I'm gonna be cleaner than the board of health. I'm gonna be on a suit, I'm gonna look sharp. I'm gonna be sharpening the number two pencil. I'm gonna be cleaning the board of health. I'm gonna be casket sharp. That's what I like. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Woo hoo!
Starting point is 00:47:34 Hey! And you got me excited with that idea too, man. Guy Lee! Hey, just the thought of that, you know, being able to address the governing body, that family, the students, the faculty. Man, you ain't dread auditioning for no job. Now it's time for our final segment of the evening.
Starting point is 00:48:01 It's time for Q&A. You auditioned for a job on the job. He sent out his resume on my job. Chat, y'all see this fool? Y'all auditioned for a job. He had the job, sent out his resume on my computer. I'm just trying to diversify my portfolio, baby. My bad. Man, I hear Audition is sending out his resume on my company computer.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Oh, okay. That was funny. That was funny. Hippin' on Wood Jr. My question is, why did the Steelers have to choose Wilson over Fields? I would have gone with Fields over Wilson. I would have too, because look at where you are now.
Starting point is 00:48:53 You're about to be your third, fourth quarterback in the last four years. Yeah. I do believe Wilson could have done, excuse me, Fields could have done some of those things. And I thought that was your future. Why'd you trade for him only for a year? Well, you only got two, three games out of him.
Starting point is 00:49:14 Because like when Russ got healthy, he went to the back up and Russ went to the starting lineup. So I don't know if you really gave Wilson an opportunity to show you what he can do. What'd you think? Honestly, if I was Mike Town, I would have gone with a veteran presence as well. Simply because of what they had done in the past. Super Bowl champion, knows what it takes to win.
Starting point is 00:49:44 And that's not taking anything away from Fields. Fields was good when he was in, until Russell Wilson was healthy. He took the Steelers to a 4-2 record, played extremely well, extremely well. That's why I'm excited to see what he's gonna do in New York as well, because if he can get a jump start out,
Starting point is 00:50:00 get a jump start like that in New York, once the season does start, I think things are gonna be very, very, very good for him. And that two year deal, they can tear it up real quick, depending on how well. They'll tear it up next year. Oh yeah. Man, listen. I'm excited for him.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Ryan Gordon, what are your thoughts on Pittsburgh Steelers choices so far? Well, I mean, I like the DK. The only did done. They've done with DK. They got in DK I mean what is what else have they done to that with that? Oh, they signed slate. You gotta get a quarterback I don't care. They've had good defense. They've had skilled positions all that before without a quarterback. You ain't going nowhere Yeah at all, especially not in that division Not in that division hell the in that division. Hell, the Steelers and the Browns. Big Blue, why are you guys including Jameer Gibbs in the top five backs?
Starting point is 00:50:54 He is, we just overlooked it, bro. You do realize we're going off the top of our dome. Bro, we got no seal. Like, okay, guys, let me explain how Ocho and I work. Like, okay, we have the list of the rundown, but when you hear me start naming our players, that's not on there. That's just off the top of my head.
Starting point is 00:51:11 That's off the top of Ocho's head. We have a rundown in which the topics we're gonna talk about. I know y'all was talking about, well, hey, Ash is probably feeding him information because I was going back and I was telling you, we was talking about the Yankees, and I was giving you different errors in which the players played. They were like, well, he recalls, oh, he got it. No, I don't, because I was telling you we've talked about the Yankees and I was giving you different errors in which the players played
Starting point is 00:51:25 They like what he recall. Oh, he got no I don't because we I didn't even know we were gonna talk about that Until you brought up the Yankees right and what made them special and then okay, we go into this field Okay, we talked NASCAR. I have no idea We're gonna talk NASCAR and then I just because I was a natural if you're from the south, which I was NASCAR's in you, you watched it. You watched all of them because NASCAR is not like it was. I think NASCAR used to come on CBS, if I'm not mistaken. And you know, Darrell Earnhardt Jr.
Starting point is 00:51:58 used to drive the number two Wrangler car before he got the black Monte Carlo, the three, and had the Gago Shades. And Darrell Waltrip drove the Tide 88 before he got the 11 car. And you have Buddy Baker, you had Bobby and Donny Allison, all those guys, Buddy Baker, all those guys. You know, I watched them, Harry Gant, the Skoll Bandit,
Starting point is 00:52:21 Neil Bonnet, Austin Bill from Dawsonville. This was before Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. and all these guys. That was before them. So that's why, you know, and I remember I used to sit there, what else you gonna watch? You had three channels, on, off, and don't mess with me.
Starting point is 00:52:40 So it wasn't like you just like it is now or you got 500 channels to choose from. Man, please. But no, we do not have every back. So it wasn't like you just like it or not, or you got 500 channels to choose from. Please. But no, we do not have every back. No, I didn't even know what he was gonna talk about this. But the backs came up and don't you like that? So we just rattle names off the top of our head. Right.
Starting point is 00:52:57 It's an honest mistake. It's not like we know what Jemere gives is. It's special sensation, he can run and catch. Well, you buy the closest thing we done seen to Chris Johnson, boy. Dr. Frank L. Bellaby says, fast break, pump fake, big mistake. No Lakers in five. Doc! Hey, what you say today had me dying, boy.
Starting point is 00:53:22 SGA, PGA? USA. USA. Lakers in five. I said that they had me dying, boy. S-E-A, P-G-A. U-S-A. U-S-A. Bigger than pie. Well, I was in tears. That was funny. Kevin Brooke, cluckin' Ocho. Build a starting offense and defense using NFL football
Starting point is 00:53:35 players that are in the media or used to be in the media. Well, hell, that's easy. Me, straight hand, grog, Brady, Moss. It's easy. Me, straight hand, Gra, Brady, Moss, Ocho, Moss, Fred Taylor, Ryan Clark. Whoa. Sorry, Dio, you ain't made the cut. You ain't made the cut.
Starting point is 00:54:08 First of all, you not beat not Brady or Troy. And because of the money, we're limited to only two quarterbacks on the roster. So I'm sorry. Who else? Let me try to fake. Hold on. Who else? Who else am I missing? Oh, Charles Woodson. See what? What, what, what, what? Yeah, Woody. What, what, what?
Starting point is 00:54:33 Uh. Who else come on there? I guess we gotta put a, what you call him on there? Who that? Damien Woodie. We need somebody to block. Oh, Woodie, yeah, yeah, yeah. We need somebody to block Ocho.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Oh, JJ Y. I mean, hey, Dio don't feel bad. Matt Ryan didn't make it either. So. So. So. So. So. Now, huh?
Starting point is 00:55:10 Yeah, Kelsey, playmaker. Mm-hmm. Playmaker. They aren't in the media. They're a football coach. Does Fitzgerald, does Fitzgerald do anything for the... I guess you take Shurm, Smitty.
Starting point is 00:55:33 Oh, the Shurm, right, by Shurm, yeah. Jason Whitworth, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Big Whit, Big Whit. Yeah, Saturday. Greg Olson, Gonzo. Hey. Yeah, I'm just saying, how many titles we playing, we ain't got but two,
Starting point is 00:55:58 I know I'm gonna be one of the titles. I don't know who else gonna be one, but I'm gonna be one. Well, you already said, Gromp, so you gotta go between Gromp and, whatchamacallit? Gromp and Gonzo. Okay, I'm sorry but I'm gonna be one. Well, you already said gromp So you got to go between grunk and all what you call it Okay, I'm sorry. I'm sorry great Whoa, there's a good one. Oh. Yeah. Shannon Ocho, who wins? Brady, Unc, and the 85 Bears, Ocho, my homeboy, Ray Lewis, and the Ravens defense.
Starting point is 00:56:31 Shit, Ravens defense? I ain't even gotta think about that. I ain't even gotta listen. I ain't even gotta think about that twice. I don't think people understand how good that Ravens defense was, man. Man, that's not even fair. Not even, not even fair.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Not even, not even fair. Not even, not even fair. Not even, not even fair. I think we will get y'all a little chill. I got Brady. J213 said, hey, Unk and Ocho, two questions. Unk, do you have any plans to come to Boston for signing? Also, which NFL team do you think one day want a free agency? Whoever one day want a free agency, gonna be some crap this year. So do you think one day won a free agency? Whoever one day won a free agency gonna be some crap this year.
Starting point is 00:57:07 So whoever you think won, say please don't let it be that we think we won day one a free agency. Cause everybody that wins day one of signing for agency don't be nothing and come to regular season. Yes, I don't know if I'm coming to Boston, but we do have distribution in Massachusetts. So I will be coming to a store. I'm not sure in what area of Boston, but I will be coming. Aaron Owen says, the bingles make me want to pull my damn hair out. Well, at least I got the calves.
Starting point is 00:57:41 True? Yeah. Listen, at some point we're gonna make moves. I'm not sure when. I'm curious to see how long they're gonna take. We're not the type of team that really waits to the last minute to do things. If they're gonna do it, they get it done. When it came to Joe Burrow, they didn't play no games. They didn't play no games.
Starting point is 00:57:58 So I'm assuming, you know, when it comes to Chase and T, if we're going to sign T, it needs to be done now. There's no need in waiting. There's no point in waiting. I understand're going to sign T, it needs to be done now. There's no need in waiting, there's no point in waiting. I understand what they have to do, they have to think about the future in the books, the way the money's spread out, they gotta do all that stuff first,
Starting point is 00:58:15 but let's get it done at adequate time so we can have the gang back together if it's gonna be possible. Pretty much it. Isaiah Lancaster, what's good, Uncle No, two questions, do you feel you and Steven, If it's gonna be possible Pretty much it Isaiah Lancaster was good uncle no chill two questions Oh, do you feel you and Steven they have the best chemistry out of previous colleagues you work with and who are your five? Quarterbacks with the best arm talent are they talking about is he talking about currently or best arm talent ever ever Marino, Rogers.
Starting point is 00:58:46 Elway. Elway. My homeboy. Brett. Brett Favre. I mean, Mike Vick. I'm talking about arm talent. Man, you know how Vick flick, Vick don't even step into the ball and flick it 70
Starting point is 00:59:06 true from to our flick it I'm like man what the I think the thing is that what you have to understand is that First take for me is different than was undisputed Undisputed was basically Shannon versus skill the topics were what we talked about and this was not on purpose, but he was a Jordan, I was LeBron. He was Brady, I was Mahomes. He was this, I was that. So it set up perfect. He liked the Cowboys, I didn't. I mean, just being honest, he didn't think Luca was good. I did.
Starting point is 00:59:47 He didn't think look a Yoki's with that good. I did. It was actually a debate, a debate format. If you look at today, what we, how we do on first date is more of a conversation. So I had to adapt because I'm used to coming out there. This was a prize fight and I'm trying to win I'm trying to win all two hours and 30 minutes in which I'm on the air. So it's different. Um Skipping out we were unbelievable
Starting point is 01:00:17 And It's not easy to do that every single day because I was the energy. I always had to be on. Yeah. It wasn't no, you know, easing into it because I only got, I only got a small amount of time, Ocho, to grab someone's attention and hold it. And hold it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:37 So I'm coming out. I'm Usain Bolt. I'm coming out the blocks and I'm running hard as I possibly can for as long as I can. So it's just different. I think the thing is that now I'm starting to get like, hey, and Steven A.G., I mean, Steven A. has always told me,
Starting point is 01:00:56 hey, just be you. Okay. So I didn't wanna come and right out the gate dump all of the undisputed Shannon on the desk. Right. Build up, you know, I'm starting to get back, you know, have the Lakers and five and things like that, the one-liners and things of that nature,
Starting point is 01:01:12 and dating this and that. So I think Steve and A, but you got to realize, I mean, skipping out, we started boom, boom, boom, and slowly build. And this is, this is on the Steve and A line, we only been together a year. Skipping out with together seven years. We gonna get it.
