Brought to you by Novartis, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports Network. All right, Johnny, we're going to get you out of here
Starting point is 00:02:58 on this one. Colorado Big 12 struggles continued tonight. The Buffalo's lost the TCU. 3521 fell to two and four on the season. Caden Salter was inconsistent again. 18 or 29, 217, two touchdowns, but three costly interceptions
Starting point is 00:03:14 in the first half and then they had a very, very costly fumble late in the ball game that gave them a short they gave a TCU a short field. They capitalized on that. They threw a touchdown on fourth down with like 19 seconds to go. So but man that quarterback he killing him mocho he killing him you got you got in order in order to
Starting point is 00:03:36 compete in order to contend to in order to have success in order to even have a chance of winning at any level on whether you're in high school whether you're in college whether it's the NFL we see it all the time especially it's a little bit more prevalent in the NFL and how important the quarterback position is you got to have quarterback play not only quarterback play but quarterback play that's somewhat consistent. Yep. You just got to be somewhat consistent, and you can't turn the ball over.
Starting point is 00:04:03 You can't turn the ball over with playing against opponents that are better than you, and if you're going to have a chance at all, you want to minimize it as much as possible, as much as possible. Now, for Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes, if you had some type of running game,
Starting point is 00:04:20 you wouldn't have to put the onus of games when it comes to wins and losses on the quarterback, if you had a better run a game. You could take some of the pressure off of them. We don't have to put it in the air as much. But the running game is a little bit stagnant. It's not as consistent as you'd like it to be. Therefore, you've got to throw the ball as much as you do.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Here's the thing that I like about Prime so much, just knowing who he is and how he is as a person. This adversity and what they're going through right now, he does not shy away from it. He goes back into the office on a Monday and goes back to the drawing board, and he's going to do as long as he is there, everything in his power to try and write this ship, make it respectable, and build on
Starting point is 00:04:59 what they need to do to be a good program. But right now, you guys are both absolutely 100% correct. You're not getting enough out of the run game to make it easier on your quarterback. And when it is time for the quarterback to step up, you're not getting enough from that position to make it easy on everywhere else. That is a tough recipe to be able to come out and have success.
Starting point is 00:05:20 The mere fact that you tied into half and you throw on three picks, is amazing. I thought the defense played really well tonight. They did. I mean, think about it. They stopped, because normally the cops, the buffs can't stop the run. Well, they held TCU, 35 carries 94 yards.
Starting point is 00:05:36 I can live with that. Now, Hoover, 23 or 33, 275 and four touchdowns, you probably can't live with that. They did get, what, two sacks? They had two sacks, six tackle for losses. But you, your quarterback. He's just, he's wildly inconsistent. The one thing, too, and this is something when I first got to the NFL and Kyle Shanahan came into one of the first meetings.
Starting point is 00:06:03 And if you lose the turnover battle, four turnovers to nothing, your percentage chance throughout the history of all football games to actually win is like 8%. It's so bad. So if you're going to lose a minus four in a turnover battle, you're smoked. You have to play so good in every area. It doesn't matter that your defense held up okay. It does not matter that your running game may have been better than it has been in the past.
Starting point is 00:06:34 It is so hard to overcome that. And there's two things that you look at when I go to team stats every week. What are your penalties? How many times you shoot yourself in the foot? And did you win the turnover battle? And tonight, four to zero in turnovers is tough. six of 43 on the penalties is whatever you can live with that you can live with that
Starting point is 00:06:56 long as you're not double digits yep minus four in the turnover battle you're smoke you lose it that and they were oh cho see you was up 14 nothing yeah so i'm just so i just did for people to know they were up 14 nothing and then all of a sudden saw to like you know what i want to make y'all hey you know i don't want people to lose interest in this game so let me make it interested here here you go listen i mean he was throwing pigs like open was giving our cards you get a peek you get a peek you get a pick like bro what the hell are you doing i i don't know what it is obviously it's hard watching from the tv copy whose fault it is sometimes with some of those throws it could be the receivers fault them not being in the right place it could be
Starting point is 00:07:38 the quarterback's fault you really can't tell especially watching from tv then you see the replay you still actually don't know you know what the scheme of the concepts were and it just he got to play better the quarterback well i mean if the if you if the defender is between uh the ball's going to have to go through the defender to get to your guy is the quarterback's fault yeah because even if he ran the wrong route as brian billy used to tell our quarterbacks don't don't exacerbate a situation he ran the wrong route why the hell you want to throw it to him anyway you reward negative behavior i'm like bro what are you doing yeah i mean it's just i mean me he just like to school for school it's like
Starting point is 00:08:19 Every time he want to throw it side arm, he want to charge to change arm slots. He's trying to do too much, man. He'd be, man, man, he, he, he, he, man. If I didn't pay for the TD, probably if I was an Airbnb, I probably, you know what, Ocho. I probably to throw a shoe, and somebody broke in eyes and threw a shoe through the TV.
Starting point is 00:08:37 But this is my issue. And you know what? I need to go catch some TVs on sale, Locho. You know, go to a, what they, an estate sale, or you used to call a rummy, yard sales, or rumy sale, and get me some TVs, that way I can just, hey, just throw a shoe through them when I get mad. Because, well, he had me, he had me 357 hot today.
Starting point is 00:08:59 They really, they really missin Shador right now. Yes. Yeah. They really missing consistent quarterback play like that. And look, I think for me and having the relationship I have a prime and wanting him to be successful, it is hard to sit here and see their struggles and what they're going through right now. If anybody writes a ship, I believe it can be
Starting point is 00:09:22 him. But he goes back to the thing that we were saying a couple weeks ago. This new NIL landscape. It's tough to get a dude to Boulder, man. It's tough if you don't have the juice. You ain't got no beach.
Starting point is 00:09:38 You ain't got no water. You ain't got no hose. It is cold. So, uh, Ocho, come on, I need scenery. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I need scenery. Most of the time, especially, it depends.
Starting point is 00:09:54 You need scenery or you're locked in and focused on trying to get to that next level. It's all on what you want. Yeah, but guess what? I can go to Alabama and get focused on that next level. I can go to Ohio State and get focused on that next level. You got to realize, see, you ain't one of these top 10, top 15 programs that people just lining up to come to. Right. So I need something to lure them down there, what I got.
Starting point is 00:10:16 And most of the guys that we need, they ain't. trying to be ski as i understand aspen and bail and wrecking ridge i get all that yeah but that ain't going to get them down there hey well i tell you what though if you want to be picky if you're in a position where you don't want to choose choose colorado and you're and you have the skill set to show up and pop out on tape at the alabamas the ls u's and the other power five schools more power to you but it's only a handful of them young bulls that's out there that's built like that if you know what i mean that can actually go there and actually make a difference where you can pick and choose and say, well, I don't want to go to goddamn Colorado
Starting point is 00:10:52 because I need some goddamn scenery. I think the thing they can do the best is you go look at the Alabama's and the guys who are sitting there stuck on the two that can't get on the field, the Isaiah Bond we were talking about who transfers to a Texas or something like that, they're going to have to live and die by the portal and going and grabbing some guys who can't get on the field at these big schools and have the allure prime, have the allure of being of a playing for coach who knows what it takes what he did molding Travis Hunter into getting him into a Heisman into a first round draft pick and doing that because yeah you may not have it all
Starting point is 00:11:28 to offer in the world but Travis Hunter decommitted from everywhere else in the whole world to say I'm going to Jackson State and be with prime so there is that allure and there is that special human being of a person and as a coach that would be like go if I rock with him that much I'm going to go help him lead me into what I want to be as a man and as a player So that is something that they have going for them and something that he's going to have to go and snag when guys aren't getting there most of their opportunities somewhere else. That's the way I view it. But here's the thing, Ocho, if a guy that's at Ohio State, if he's at Alabama and he's at one of these big portals, that means he can go to one of those other big people. A guy in Alabama can go to Ohio State.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Right. He can go to Florida State. He can go to Michigan. He can go to those other schools. He ain't looking guys like that. Unfortunately, Ocho and Johnny, you and I, both know they're not looking at color they're not looking at see because they don't now once upon a time see you used to be a factory yeah especially for linebackers mcgenevas
Starting point is 00:12:27 mcgee uh uh chad brown uh uh alfred williams they they had a they had some guys a ted johnson they had dbs they had wire receivers they had a program it's it's been it's been dormant for a long period of time it's been like the seven 17th year locals. They only come every 17 years, Locho. So that program has been dormant for a long period of time. It is going to take a while for it to get, but they're going to have to win.
Starting point is 00:12:57 Now, they needed to follow up what they did last year. They needed to follow up with another season like that. Because that's how Alabama started getting them back. Coach Saban got there. I think he went eight and four and then guess what? He went 10 and two and 11 and 1, and then 12 and 0, and then 11 and 1, and then
Starting point is 00:13:13 12 and 0, and then they'll come. You can't go 8 and 4 and turn around and go four and eight and think guys are going to come because they're not it's a waste of a year it's that year it ain't even happened eight and four didn't mean nothing first of all it's not good enough to really grab your attention but because of the publicity and what prime is and store and what they had and Travis hunter you got the Heisman guy the highlights you're able to build on that a little bit but once you go four and seven or four and eight or whatever it may be all that goes away and you're back to the drawing board of that they're a struggling program but
Starting point is 00:13:47 I don't know how to get out of this. They ain't got NIL money. They can't put no $20 million, no $25 million in there, say, okay, go get me, go get me a quarterback, go get me a receiver, a couple of DBs and some D-LIMA. I got it. I got it, I got it. They got the power ball in Colorado, too.
Starting point is 00:14:05 They can go get that. They do. They do. Man, Johnny, thanks for joining us tonight. Make sure y'all go subscribe and check out this podcast on YouTube, Glory Days with Johnny Manzell. Johnny, thanks for joining us tonight. Stay safe out there because I know you're getting ready to hear it out right now,
Starting point is 00:14:22 but stay safe out there, bro, and we'll holl at you next week. Thank you, boys. Gigam Aggieggies, let's go. Yeah, buddy. Ocho, 73-year-old coach Bill Belichick is the oldest coach in college football. Clearly has no answer for what else the program that had made six bowl appearances in a row under former head coach Mack Brown. The Tar Hills have played three, power, four,
Starting point is 00:14:45 this season, none which have been ranked. They've lost by 34, 25, and 28. UNC's general manager, Mike Lombardi wrote a newsletter to the program supporters stating to trust the process compared the teams' rebuild to the Sixers. I don't know if I'd use that one. And pointing out the early struggles from Legends, Nick Saban and Jim Harbaugh. Ocho? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:11 If you're a UNC booster, do you really trust the process with Coach Bell? a check. Absolutely. And if you're a UNC booster, you need to open up your pocketbook. You know what it takes. You understand the landscape and the dynamic and the way things work now in today's era when it comes to college ball and winning games. You got to pay to play. You've got to pay to win. You know, and that's what it takes. And you have to trust the process because you had the right man for the job. All you need now is the backing. And the backing has to come from the sponsors. It has to come from those with the big pockets that are on the outside, that graduated, that that they do know. And I would trust the process, especially with a coach like Billiichick, who has success at the highest level, who's trying to show NFL teams that he can also coach at the younger level with the kids
Starting point is 00:15:59 and be a little bit more lenient and showing that I can do it on both ends of the spectrum. And I think he's going to have success. Obviously, it's somewhat of a, I wouldn't use the word rebuild. I wouldn't use the word rebuild. But it's a rebeel. Okay, well, rebuild. it's the first start for him.
Starting point is 00:16:17 And listen, as great as Bill Belichick is, there's only so much coaching he can do without the talent, without the players to be able to execute whatever it is you want to do offensively. They're not good. They're not good, Ocho. Yeah. I wish I could dress it up for the chat and say,
Starting point is 00:16:38 oh, you know, chat, they get this. They're not good. Yeah. And it's going to take a while for them to get good. this is not an overnight this is not a it can be an overnight success now it can be overnight
Starting point is 00:16:52 it depends on who pocket we're talking about we can flip this thing around in one year if you tell me they got Texas A&M or they got Texas they got money like that okay I'll listen to it wait wait whoa whoa whoa tell me who's the richest man
Starting point is 00:17:08 who's the richest person right now that went to the University of North Carolina don't start me the line. Oh, I could tell you that. arguably the greatest basketball player ever. Oh, Jordan. You think, hold on, hold on.
Starting point is 00:17:22 You said, what, what, what sport did he play? Basketball. Okay, what is North Carolina loan for? Hold on, hold on. Let me finish. I'm talking about, I'm talking about people with money that have long money that can help with that NIL situation. People with long money, they like to invest in things that they like. What is Michael Jordan like?
Starting point is 00:17:39 Basketball. In golf. What is North Carolina known for? Basketball. Okay. What is the University, what is Alabama known for? Football. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Yeah. What is Ohio State known for? Football. What is University of Texas known for? Football. Yeah. Yeah. So you're trying to win, you're trying to win at a program that's known for what.
Starting point is 00:18:03 That's like Kentucky. What is Kentucky known for? What is Kansas known for? Yeah. But the funny thing about it too long, I'm thinking about it. We talk about wanting a change of program around and you have someone that is a part of the alma mater that can do that like that, that had disposable income. Yeah. That's disposable income.
Starting point is 00:18:24 They ain't got no Larry Ellison. They ain't got no Larry Ellison that what he did for Michigan. That's different. That's different. Hey, now that's a different ball game. See, you're talking about somebody and Michael Jordan, he got, hey, he got more money than you and I'll ever see. He's three and a half, four billion dollars. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:18:40 But we're talking about a guy that got $350 billion. $370 billion And it's going up So that's a whole That's a whole different animal Oh, Joe Hey, what do you think? You think we'll still be doing the show
Starting point is 00:18:55 If we had Larry Ellison money Do what show? Bad, please. Well, no. I mean, I like, I like talking and I feel I still have a lot to offer for the hell to the no 375 billion i mean no oh cho no i'm going to kick my heels up somewhere i don't even lie to you i ain't been to hold you i'm going i'm going to kick my heels up
Starting point is 00:19:23 somewhere look you got too much to offer to the people to have that kind of money and not want to share the knowledge and the stories that you do have huh well hey hey listen don't let the money change you oh cho i'll come back and i give you one day a week but i'm gonna be hey jordan i go Hey, Joy, we go, we're going to be in the Maldives. I don't know what the internet service is like over there, but that's where I be. All the places that I ate, Maldives, the Amalfi Coast.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Yeah. You know, I want to go a lot of places, Ocho. I'm going to get a head start on it. You're going to be going on, huh? What? I don't worry. I run the show by myself. Don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Hey, that's funny, boy. I'm going to let you. Welcome to the Ocho show. man what happened to Unk? Unk pieced him out. Look, and plus the fact that
Starting point is 00:20:19 Coach Belichick has had so it's been a long time. Coach Bello has had so much success. Think about doing that 20-year stretch that he had in New England. Yeah. He had what, three losing season. His first season and then
Starting point is 00:20:31 there's two last seasons there. Yeah. So 17 years of prosperity. He won the division 16, 17 times. He went to 10 Super Bowls. Nine, excuse me, nine Super Bowls. Oh, that's crazy, man. All those NFC championship games, man.
Starting point is 00:20:51 I don't think people understand what Bill and Tom did for such a long time. Well, we know, we understand it, though, Cho, for the simple fact, we played that sport. Yeah, man. And we know how hard it is to win. To win that consistency, excuse me, that consistently at that level, at that level, And to the degree in which they won? Yeah. Okay, look, winning eight, nine, ten game, or having a, like, the Cowboys,
Starting point is 00:21:19 they went 20 straight years and never had a losing season. So eight and eight is winning. Okay, like Mike Tomlin, he's never had a losing season. That ain't nothing to compare to what they did for 20 years. Yeah. They winning divisions. They're making deep playoff runs. They go into Super Bowl, nine Super Bowl appearances in 20 seasons.
Starting point is 00:21:39 now mind you had it not been for Peyton Peyton beat him three times in the AFC championship game so that's 12 AFC championship games in 20 seasons
Starting point is 00:21:51 Eli beat him twice in the Super Bowl so that man could have easily gone to 12 Super Bowls and have what nine wins nine rings Nick Bowles got him too
Starting point is 00:22:05 that's right so the man yes so to win at that level you have a great like anybody that does something like I'm sure doctors feel this way Ocho when somebody does a unique neurosurgeoning and they do something or they put something back together it's a it's an unbelievable it's an unbelievable feeling right to keep a life in these hands skill now a lot of stuff now is machines you know push button and machine does all that but to to do
Starting point is 00:22:38 be able to do. I'm sure surgeons feel that way when they see another surgeon do something. In the heat of battle, your squad relies on you. Don't let them down. Unlock elite gaming tech at Lenovo.com. Dominate every match with next

Spain on the iHeart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts presented by capital one
Starting point is 00:26:43 founding partner of i heart women's sports man you you appreciate it and coach this hard on coach bellichick yeah man losing it losing get hard when you get when you used to winning yeah and you get older but you also understand what you're getting yourself into before he took the job he understood what he was getting yourself into Ocho, we got a story to report. Mark Sanchez was arrested by the Indianapolis Metro Police Department on Saturday facing three misdemeanor charges in relation to a relation to an incident where he was stabbed and taken to the hospital. The Indiana Metro PD said San Trades was arrested at the hospital on suspicion of battery with injury,
Starting point is 00:27:31 unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication. An ended reporter reported the following. We can now report what is stated in the police narrative from last night stabbing involving former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez. According to the police narrative, we received from sources Sanchez was not cooperative with police when they first arrived on the scene. Another man listed as the victim in the police report told police he was delivering food when Sanchez told him he needed to move and couldn't park where he was. The man told police Sanchez started threatening him and following him and then attacked him. The man said he first tried to pepper spray Sanchez and it didn't work. He said it was at that time he defeated himself with a knife.
Starting point is 00:28:17 Police noted the man had a significant injury to his face. Sanchez was taken to the hospital in critical condition and underwent surgery. It is important to note Sanchez has not been interviewed yet. So as the police, as the gentleman, I think he's like 63 Ocho, as he's telling the story, he's delivering DoorDash. Yeah. He's parked in an area. Okay. This is what he said.
Starting point is 00:28:45 So all we can go about is what's being reported. Right, right. That Sanchez told him he couldn't park there. Right. And then I guess at some point, Sanchez tried to get into the gentleman's car. Oh. Um, it happened around 12.30 a.m. So maybe probably there's a high probability or likelihood that alcohol was involved.
Starting point is 00:29:15 I was just going to ask you a very, a very unfortunate situation. Yeah. Um, that he, he could have lost his life. He's very fortunate. Um, he probably got stabbed maybe in the chest, the abdomen. Did they say where he got stabbed? They didn't, they were important. But if he had to go through surgery, it had to be,
Starting point is 00:29:34 it had to be somewhere where it could have been. The abdomen or the chest or something, yes. But he's fortunate to be alive. I hate, I hate this for him and his family. You know, and Fox reached out and said they, you know,
Starting point is 00:29:49 they're doing their due diligence, but as for privacy for him and his family. But it's a very, very, very, very sad for a situation. 63-year-old man trying to, trying to make an honest, I mean, I promise you, he delivering DoorDash-Ocho. He ain't got $63 billion, you know, nothing. Right.
Starting point is 00:30:09 He's trying to make ends meet. Mm-hmm. Most definitely. And that's probably not his only job. Mm-hmm. Not at all. Listen, for one, I mean, first off, I mean, based off what I know so far about the situation, I would also like to hear what Mark Sanchez has to say about it, but based on what we
Starting point is 00:30:24 have so far, for one, I want to just say, I'm glad Mark is okay. I'm glad he's going to pull through. But obviously, I think alcohol plays a huge part, plays a huge part in this situation. And obviously, this is going to be a learning lesson for Mark. It's going to be a learning lesson for others as well that consume alcohol. And most of the time, you want to consume just enough, just enough where you're still able to function in your right state of mind. And you're able to make the right decisions even when you're intoxicated. And I think obviously having too much alcohol, it skews, you know, some decision-making.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Yeah, you don't make the best decisions. No, you don't, you don't. And for one, for me, I'm really not the one to be talking for someone who's never had alcohol before. I'm really not the person to be saying, which you shouldn't, shouldn't be doing when it comes to drinking alcohol. But I hope this situation gets rectified soon. I hope Mark pulls through and um he's able to have been stabbed multiple times oh cho yeah i mean you know you could because you got to understand that man fighting for his life he doesn't know we probably didn't even know who that was yeah of course and and you jump on me you
Starting point is 00:31:38 threatened me i ain't taking time to foot let me go to google because he kind of looked like mark said yeah let me see if that's him yeah that's you people ain't doing that man man look man i just let just leave people alone yeah that's why i ain't going about my business, Joe. Hey, hey, how you doing, man, boom. And one thing about to think about it too, DoorDash, let's say he did park in the spot. All they doing.
Starting point is 00:32:02 You're not the police. Even that. All you're doing is dropping food off. You're going to be there was three minutes, if that, two, three minutes, go ahead and do what you've got to do. I ain't, that ain't, that ain't none of my business. If the police said you can't park here, bro, look here, I don't care about nothing.
Starting point is 00:32:18 I ain't, I ain't trying to be no police. Somebody stealing something. I ain't intervening. Because it ain't my stuff. They're going to replace that stuff. He's stealing the purse. You stealing stuff out of some store. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:32:32 It's not mine. Right. And I'm not putting my. Hey, I tell you about the story, Ocho. Yeah. There was this shop across the bar from where I go get my hair cut. And you know, they had these little graphic teas and stuff like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:45 You ran up in there. Later, holl and everything. And the guys came out to barbershop trying to chase, oh boy. Uh-oh. Boy pulled that tool up. It's not your stuff. You're right, my man. You're right.
Starting point is 00:32:58 They turned around and went on back to the barbershop. You started cutting hair. That's not your stuff. I am not about to lose my life for something that's replaceable. That's not mine. Right. Take my stuff. Hey, it's gone.
Starting point is 00:33:12 It's insured. That's what insurance is for. I don't want to have to use it, but I insured it just because that's what insurance you have health insurance. I don't want to use it, oh, Joe. but if I got to use it, I have to use it. I am not. I don't care. He could have parked there overnight.
Starting point is 00:33:30 Man, DoorDash, man, that man been, I don't care. Not my parking spot. Hey, as long as you don't block my driveway so I can get my ass up in there. Now, I have when I stayed in LA, Ocho, there was this big Jewish center. And, you know, holidays, there are a lot of Jewish holidays. And so they're like, do you, ma'am, I don't care. I said, as long as you don't block me in, I don't care where you park.
Starting point is 00:33:56 You can park on top of the damn house, fall, I care. As long as I can get into that my house and I can go about my business, y'all take off. I ain't doing that. And so like I said, I'm glad to hear that Mark is doing OK. I'm sure his family's wife and kids are in ending out with him in the hospital.
Starting point is 00:34:16 But guys, y'all, let's just leave people alone, man. We ain't got to be policemen. Somebody parked illegally. legally. I don't care. I don't. Somebody part in the handicapped zone. Yeah, I feel bad, my man, bro. That's a handicapped. Somebody really needs that parking space, especially if you got a placard, I don't care. I don't care. If he got a placard in his window, I don't care. Right. He got it for some reason. I don't care how he got it. I ain't bother nobody, Ocho. I go about my business. I don't do that. The man was 69. Oh, yeah. He bought that. Oh, he got that stick on him. Oh, yeah. Oh, see, I grew up in to Earl Ocho, would they put that blade on you? Oh, yeah. I grew up to you, and if you're from the South, I don't know how they do it anywhere else. I'm just speaking about what I grew up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:00 Men and women would put that blade on you. Wait, you know what? You got a thing, this is society today is completely different. The weapon of choice back then was always a knife. Ocho, Fox 59 and CBS 4 are reporting that Sanchez told the driver he was upset that the truck was blocking a nearby alley. The source also indicated that Sanchez was acting erratically and had started doing wind sprints in the alley before the stabbing occurred. Alcohol?
Starting point is 00:35:34 I mean, hey, man, look, that was, if you, like I said, if you my age, if you my age, let's just say from the ages of probably 45 to on up, you grew up in a time where people put that blade on you. Now, I know, hey, women used to walk. walk around with them razor blazing the hand and slap five from you. And now you got that on your cheek. Hold on you. You saw a west side story, right?
Starting point is 00:35:59 No. You didn't see west side story? Mm-mm. Come on. Hey, when it was time to get out, you had one weapon of choice. And you're holding your left hand. You're holding your right hand. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:12 Somebody going to get stuck. Oh, yeah. They put that buck 50 on you. They take 150 stitches to close it up on Joe. They, hey, they let you have it, man. That's why, that's why, Ocho, I've always been a guy. I never went for bad. I stayed to myself because I already know.
Starting point is 00:36:31 You never know. You never know what somebody, somebody might have, somebody might not even be their nature. Somebody just might have had a bad day that day. Yeah. Funny how they work. Just that, just that day. Funny how they work.
Starting point is 00:36:46 Yeah. just I just man like I said I'm I'm glad he's okay I'm glad he's okay hopefully you know everything gets gets resolved it looks like they're not going to file charges
Starting point is 00:37:01 against the 69 year old gentleman they send it self-defense and you have you do have the right to defend yourself and stand your ground but man like I said people everybody don't play like y'all play y'all play these get pranks and everything y'all want to get captured on TikTok and y'all want to capture these videos
Starting point is 00:37:19 and you calling people all like yeah I'm talking to you B and I'm talking about all that man people don't play man I'm telling you you catch the wrong person you catch the right person on the wrong day uh-oh ain't going to help you just leave people alone man
Starting point is 00:37:33 you get ugly yeah but I hope like I said he was stabbed in the chest so it multiple times right what wounds so multiple So, glad he's okay. Looks like he's going to pull it through.
Starting point is 00:37:50 I'm sure he's with his family, his wife, kids, and everything's going to work out okay. But, man, please, man. Y'all just lead people alone. But I'm glad to hear he's okay. Starting point is 00:41:56 Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. Ocho, got another story. The attorney for LSU Y receiver, Karen Lacey. You remember, Karen Lacey was the LSU receiver that allegedly was in an accident, and it was reported that he was the cause of the accident. and the police were going to charge him. But this is what the attorney for Lacey said has revealed information that caused into questions Lacey's involvement in the fatal car crash in December of last year.
Starting point is 00:42:25 A video shared by attorney Matt Ory, which is from the security footage of the accident shows that Lacey was about 73 yards away from the collision at the time of impact. We know from the data that Lacey did in fact pass four cars, There's no disputing that. Further north, Lacey passed four cars, already said. However, he was in back of the lane traveling 92, like almost 100 yards away behind Mr. Hall at the time of impact. He's 73 yards behind vehicles at the time of impact. Key words, behind vehicles. This is not how the story was ever painted.
Starting point is 00:43:08 Never. In the January, police charged Lacey with negligent homicide. felony hit and run and reckless operation of a vehicle. Lacey died by suicide in April of this year. One day before he was supposed to appear in front of a grand jury,
Starting point is 00:43:24 he was 24 years of age. Oh, Joe. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. That's crazy. Obviously, everybody needs to be held accountable. Everybody that is a part of that police department needs to be held accountable. The witness who was
Starting point is 00:43:41 not bribe, but was tempted to tell a story that wasn't true need jail time for sure the officer who created a story to say that it was kairn lacy's fault he needs to be jail time to Lacey's family I hope they sue not only the city but that police department and get everything everything they deserve because their son is now gone It is. It's tough. Their son is now gone based on something completely false that was made up by those that are supposed to protect us.
Starting point is 00:44:23 But see, and the way it was portrayed, Ocho, it was portrayed that he passed the four cars and then caused the impact that cost a man his life. It's reported, it's being, through the security camera, it's like, yeah, he passed away back there, but had no, he was not a part of the accident. I have a question. Yes. I have another question. When everything happened, when everything happened, their cameras everywhere, huh?
Starting point is 00:44:50 Yes. The cameras everywhere. So this situation wouldn't even got to the light of day. Brother Lacey wouldn't have had any issues and they would have known the officer was lying. They would have known the witness was lying. Why didn't we use the camera footage ahead of time? Why are they just coming out now? All of this could have been prevented.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Obviously, I'm not, I don't understand the judicial system. I don't understand how that stuff works. And why the footage has, it's just coming out just now. Just not coming out. I mean, those that are watching, I don't know how that stuff works. It's a very sad story. Yeah, it's a horrible story. It's a horrible story, man.
Starting point is 00:45:26 It's the guilt that this man had to be, possibly faced that, like, man, they say I did this. They say I took someone's life that I was responsible with it. And Ocho, remember, he was uninvited to the draft. Yeah, because of it. Yes. But see, that goes to, Ocho, you see how, you see it, the role that media plays, how they can write a story, how they can report a story? Right, listen, if I'm, if I'm, if I'm, if I'm the Lacey family,
Starting point is 00:46:06 well, I'm from the second line to get every time. I'm from the second line. and get every dime. And I'm saying that in a respectful way because I can't get my son back. I can't get my son back. And y'all lied. You lied.
Starting point is 00:46:22 And there was nothing anybody could tell him because everything I worked for, everything I worked for has now going down the drain. Yep. Which resulted in him taking his life. He's his own life. man damn it's it's it's tough this young man it's parents grandparents family friends loved ones gone far too soon far too soon like you said all this
Starting point is 00:47:01 footage I mean everything's on video outside you can't do anything I mean they got at every traffic light they got a thing to get the place going through and send you the thing in the mail, send you the ticket in the mail, Ocho. They don't even come get you now, Ocho. They just send you the ticket in the mail. Yeah. You know, I feel sorry for the young man.
Starting point is 00:47:25 I feel sorry for its family. It's just so sad, so sad, 24 years of age. Why is it just coming out now? I don't understand. Why is it just coming out now? I mean, in the era we're in, in the technology, in the technological error that we're in, as advanced as we become, this could have been resolved and solved so long ago. If Kyra knew, man, that's not what happened. Check the cameras.
Starting point is 00:48:01 But they, but they ain't trying to hear that. Oh, Cho, you know they believe everybody says I didn't do it. In actuality, he didn't. And the thing is on show, look, I want, I won't all, I want crimes to be solved. Yeah. But don't put this on somebody to, man. I mean, I know one thing, the Lacey family need to get justice. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:23 Fulke need to get justice. I'm telling you, you can't allow them to get away with something like this, a blatant lie like that. And that blatant lie not only ruin a childhood dream, but making that child take his life because it's something that he couldn't handle, knowing I have nothing to do with this and the media has painted a picture as if
Starting point is 00:48:44 I'm this monster when I'm totally innocent. Yep. And I think the general was in the 70s. All we need to see was the footage. Yeah. All we need to see was the footage and we wait until my young brother's gone. Come on. Yeah. Because this was in April.
Starting point is 00:49:02 He, uh, I mean, so you mean to tell me they just got that footage, all this footage, probably been it happened in December right so we're coming up we're coming up on a year Ocho
Starting point is 00:49:16 come on that come on that they got all that footage it's hard for me to believe that ain't nobody looking at the camera ain't nobody ain't nobody
Starting point is 00:49:23 looking at that footage until now the funny thing about it is they probably had no choice but to release it they had somebody covering a you know what yeah they could only have it for so long
Starting point is 00:49:34 they could only had it for so long before somebody started sneaking and poking and finding the holes in the stories and saying well hold on now hold on man I feel so bad for your family it's cameras everywhere especially now on
Starting point is 00:49:50 the satellite excuse me them them satellites that sit all the way up there that see everything come on now stop playing they turned off the body camp
Starting point is 00:50:04 you know what I'm listen I'm not I'm not a detective this ain't first 48 so I'm not going to act like I know what I'm talking about just based on the facts that I what I've saw and witnessed so far that family they deserve justice
Starting point is 00:50:17 they do that that's it they do I don't know if there's a justice that you would get when a loved one is not coming back the likelihood somebody's serving time for that maybe you can get you hopefully you get a
Starting point is 00:50:36 monetary settlement I don't think anybody's going to probably serve jail time much, Joe. They never do. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, of a blatant lie, the officer, the officer and the witness that made up the story? Oh, no, you got to serve something. Oh, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:50:54 Look, you know, you want to stop this kind of behavior. See, like, when monetary settlements are done for, like, cities and counties, it need to come out of the police fund. not taxpayers well that's going to hurt boy that's going to hurt yep and they're going to have to make an example out of somebody yep they're going to make an example of somebody because not only is the city or the police department will have to pay that officer the officer is going to have to pay as
Starting point is 00:51:25 well he'll go down and what you call him he'll he'll he'll go down the street and get another job at another district another county that's all they do kick the can down the road. Yeah. Oh, I can't get no job in Las Vegas. I go down to Reno. Oh, by bad, I go to Carson City. Yes, up.
Starting point is 00:51:49 But thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends and loved ones, all those that knew Kyron Lacey. Hopefully, man, God give you strength, comfort, and understanding because I'm sure there's still a grieving process. Damn. You don't get over something like this. you just get better at dealing with it. But now this opens it all up again,
Starting point is 00:52:09 Ocho. Because, you know, they're thinking, my baby, my baby gone, and they didn't have to be. I said. The major knee injuries suffered by Malik neighbors have reignited discussions about the turf playing surface in MetLife Stadium. One executive from opposing team said this week
Starting point is 00:52:28 that due to the field turf playing surface, his players are petrified of playing at MetLife. The executive added for players, If a player is nursing an injury, he might be less apt to play through it for a game at MetLife. NFLPA interim director, David White, was in Newark, New Jersey on Monday and raised the issue of MetLife turf field and its ongoing history of season-ending lower extremities injuries. Uh, Ocho. Yes, sir. Look, two things can be true.
Starting point is 00:52:59 Yeah. Uh, the surface field might be, you know, hey. but I'm a firm believer guys you know guys don't practice like they used to they don't get conditioned to play to go be in those car wrecks Ocho I mean at some point time I mean you got to drive around the track right Ocho yeah yeah most definitely most definitely yeah I just I mean and it doesn't you know it's not going to do Malik neighbors any good it's not going to do him any good right now Ocho because he out for the year. This is a year I can't even get back.
Starting point is 00:53:36 Man, y'all saw what I did. I was looking to tear it up my sophomore year. I know more now. I'm better than I was my rookie. I ain't really know what to expect. Now I know what to expect. I know how to meet. I know how to practice.
Starting point is 00:53:47 I know how to study film. Or I know how to prepare. I got a routine now. Oh, man, I'm about to get crazy. Man, I'm about to be stupid on y'all. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know what the answer is.
Starting point is 00:54:00 I just know, you know, it's hard for me to believe that you can drive a car 50 miles of, you know, 25 miles an hour and then ask it to say, you know what, I want you to go out there and I want you to go 100 for the next two and a half hours. I just, you got to put it through the test, Ocho. That's all. The only way, the only way you got to put your body
Starting point is 00:54:22 through the test. I ain't saying they drive and take it to the ground on play, but, Ocho, we went full speed, we thought it. We know what those collisions were going to be like. They're going to be a little fast. They're going to be a little bit more impactful because they take you all the way to the ground. You know, a shot over the middle, you're probably going to,
Starting point is 00:54:39 hey, they're going to probably look to clean your clock. Yeah. I don't know what they got going on. But hopefully they get this thing figured out because guys, guys are like that, you know, that executive said they ain't going to play. If I got an injury, no, I'm good. I'm going to hold it. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:55:03 I'll catch y'all next week. I catch y'all guys next week. Oh, y'all, we're back with our newest segment, play or fade, presented by prize picks. This is how it worked. Nightcalf staff has made a lineup of their picks, and either you play the lineup that they selected or you make changes choosing more or less. Here's the lineup ahead of tomorrow's slate. Daniel Jones has more than 230.5 passing.
Starting point is 00:55:29 yards against the Raiders. I know you see the, you see this thumb up. Okay, okay, okay, Ocho say, oh, Jose, go. More, more, more, more. Jake Ferguson, more than 45.5 receiving yards against the Jets. Well, considering that Darren Waller,
Starting point is 00:55:54 how many yards that Darren Waller had last week? That really likes throwing the ball to Jake Ferguson. Mm-hmm. There I had two touchdowns probably on had like 12 yards. Yeah, he didn't have many, very yards. He was on the goal line. Oh, I'm gonna go low. I'm gonna go under.
Starting point is 00:56:18 I'm gonna go less there. I'm gonna go less there. Emeka, Ibuka, more than 61. Oh yeah. Oh, what's got what a, what a spoon is out, isn't he? Isn't spoon out? Even if he wasn't out, and Megabookas is the number one target.
Starting point is 00:56:35 Mike Evans is not playing. I'm going more. I'm going more than 61 yards. 61.5. So he's going to have at least 62. James Cook, more than 676.5 yards rushing. James Cook has been running now. Hey, he got like eight touchdowns.
Starting point is 00:56:56 Damn, already? Yeah. How many touchdown James Cook got? He got like six or seven touchdowns, don't you? And that boy would be totally. And he catching that thing out of the backfield and getting jiggy too. He got 401 yards, so he's averaging 100 yards a game. Who, hey, who Buffalo?
Starting point is 00:57:18 What does the Patriots give up rush yards? Because Brable prized himself on being able to start to run. Right. Oh, Alex Pereira won the night. He beat Uncle I? First round, first round. Knocked him out? Hey, I'm assuming so.
Starting point is 00:57:36 I just see it in the chat. Yeah, we had to be because it's, uh, uh, uh, uh, for light, light heavy weight, you got to weigh 205 or less. Right. Pereer weighed in at 204. He weighed in this morning, 232,8. So he gained all his weight back. Ugh.
Starting point is 00:57:56 I'm going under. Why? I'm going under for James Cook. They only give up 77 yards of game. Oh, okay. Oh, the Patriots, the defense. Yeah. Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:58:13 Download the app today. Use Coach Shannon to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. It's good to be right. Oh, Cho, Austin Rees says his grandma threatened to confront JJ Reddick. My grandma was so mad at him one day
Starting point is 00:58:29 and she was like, if he yelled at you like that one more time, man, I was like, me, mom. Hey. It's okay. Your daughter has yelled at me way worse. She's, ah, they ain't got nothing to do. That ain't got nothing to do with that. If he yell at you one more time.
Starting point is 00:58:43 Yeah. Man, them grandma, man. My grandma's like, you know what, I told you, I told my grandma one time I came home and I said, granted, the coach pulled my grab my face, man. You know what she's talking about what you do? Oh, yeah. Damn, granted.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Who fired you want? But they're going to ask that for, that's my grandma, too. They're going to ask, you had to do something for them to get that kind of reaction. What did you do first? All the reasons, hey, don't worry about it, ma. Hey, everything okay. But that was back in the day, Ocho. Them coaches kick you in the butt,
Starting point is 00:59:24 grab your face mask. Hey, it was crazy, boy. Pick you, pick you, especially if you play Pop Water, you small, they pick you up. Yeah. Get your narrow behind over there. Back then it was the definition of it takes a village. And that village, they're going to handle their business.
Starting point is 00:59:41 And then your parents get home, they're going to handle it again. Whatever you did wrong, you're going to get double with. me because everybody knew everybody and it wasn't no don't put your hands on my son yeah it was a situation and you aren't you are Mary and Barney a grand boy yes ma'am okay don't be don't be don't a you talk they know you talk like that no ma'am okay don't make me tell them yes ma'am because everything hey if it's a person with all of you everything was yes ma'am no ma'am yes or no sir understood yeah and you had the utmost respect for those
Starting point is 01:00:24 people it wasn't a you don't tell me what to do you're not my mama you not my daddy oh no please what did they talk back then it was it was such a level of respect yeah for elder people for older people elderly people back then i mean they didn't have to be 70 i mean because back then you think they was like 70 but they were only in their 40s There was all in their 40s, though, Joe, because, you know, I'm six, seven, eight years old. So, you know, maybe in their 50s, but you had a level of respect. I could, like, some of the way these kids talk to their parents, talk to their grandparents, man, I could never. I could never.
Starting point is 01:01:04 It was never, it was never, it was never none of this. It was never, none of that sucking your teeth. What? Hey, listen, you not cut your eyes. You're not rolling your eyes and everything is, yes, sir, no, sir. Yes, ma'am. No, ma'am. Everybody was like that.
Starting point is 01:01:19 Ocho, you know, hey, and stomping your feet, you know, they walk, boom, boom, boom, walking away like you mad? Yeah. Hold on, what about slamming the door? What about slamming your door? Slammed a door in who house? What? Man, please.
Starting point is 01:01:32 Because you, you mess right first of all, you slam a door, it might come off the hinges. Who's going to pay for that? Man, please, boy, Bart and Mary wasn't playing that. They weren't playing, hey, not even, wouldn't even think about it. I ain't even never think about slamming no door in the house. I slammed my door by accident one time, one time. Man, my granddaddy went in got that goddamn screwdriver and took the door off the hinges.
Starting point is 01:01:56 I ain't had, man. Okay. Boy, boy, you're talking about a whip it, man. Oh, Joe, I ran. I was running away from getting the whip it. Yeah. And I meant to push the door, but I hit the screen. And I pushed the screen out.
Starting point is 01:02:11 I knew you fell right through, yeah. No, I just, so, you know, uh, So, you know, like the screen door, you know, you have the screen and then you have the frame around it. Right. I pushed the screen out, so now there's a big old gap in there. Oh, so just the frame stayed there. And you had the, in the hallway, at my grandma house back in the days, we had the plastic. Oh, it wasn't a hallway, bro.
Starting point is 01:02:36 We had a thousand square foot. Oh, my bad, my bad, my bad. It wasn't a hallway. Oh, you mean had the beads, you had the beads that hanged through the hall. You know, the beads from back to the days? Yeah, yeah, yeah, but I've been to people's house where you have the bees and like going to somebody's bedroom or go down the hallway, absolutely. My grandma had them bees and had that plastic on the couch. When you sit on the plastic, if you mess around and fall asleep and you wake up and you be stuck to the couch.
Starting point is 01:03:00 Yep, that plastic. Oh, man. No, Ocho, I can be in the living room and talk to everybody in the house. Yeah, it was, but you know what, Ocho, as I love, look back on it I wouldn't change it if I go back and do it it it gave you it shaped you it made you appreciate it because I don't know if kids really appreciate it I think a lot of times people feel entitled yeah and you appreciate it because you know hey they ain't have no money like that and so you
Starting point is 01:03:34 got something hold on to it it's so funny they didn't have money like that but they always found a way on they found a way they always found a what I don't know a half them gift. Now look, I know my mom, she worked and she got us whatever we could. You know, I was first have a, you used to have football games, handheld football games. I got that. I had a Waltman. You know, we had, you know, I had Eric Jordans.
Starting point is 01:03:58 My mom worked at Nabisco, later became R.J.R. Nabisco. Man, talking about cookies, Big Newton's, Chips Ahoy, Oreos, Ritz Crackers. man Hey I don't even meet chips oroy no more I don't even meet risk crackers no more I made in big news I had so much of them growing up Let me tell you something about the brisk crackers
Starting point is 01:04:24 You sit there and try to eat one before you know it You don't went through the whole and a sleeve They call them a sleeve that way And you go through the whole sleeve What a thing's so good, boy Mm-hmm Uh Bad up woo big Newton's
Starting point is 01:04:41 Yeah, fig news was good But I ain't had no fig news It's a long time, Orcham. I ain't had no Chips O'Roy. You know, Chip, uh, uh, I don't. They still, yeah, I think where they got different. Chips, Hoy, they ain't Oreos. Yep.
Starting point is 01:04:55 I eat the lemon Oreos. I ain't had the regular ones. The lemon? Nah, I'm like, yeah. Like when my sister comes, when my sister come, Ocho, everything, because she like, she liked deli me, and she like bread, and she like Oreos and Chip.
Starting point is 01:05:08 My sister take all that stuff back to her to Georgia. My sister said, you ain't going to do nothing, but throw it out. I'm going to take my food back with me. We go to Maastroles or we go to a restaurant. Yeah. My sister's taking that food back. Oh, she took, you take the go place? Going back to Georgia.
Starting point is 01:05:25 It's going back to the house, but it's going back to Georgia. She's going to come in, put it in the freezer. She's going to wrap it up in plastic, and she's going to take that right back in her carry-on, right back to it, back to Glenville. Oh, I can't. Bread and everything. I can't ask them.
Starting point is 01:05:43 Ask them can they give you some more bread. Huh? Yeah, I can eat no leftovers, man. Babe. Man, I'm supposed to. You don't feel the same. My son's supposed to take it at my age. Man, I had to cook out, don't you?
Starting point is 01:05:55 And I bought some shrimp. You know, my sister was eating shrimp for like 10, 12 years? Tell me, ain't nothing wrong with it. I said, yeah, better you to me. Something, I ain't eating nothing to 12 years, oh, Joe? No, I'm good. All right, don't you guys. We're going to get us out of here on this one.
Starting point is 01:06:16 It's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q and A. I'm ready for this game tomorrow, 4 o'clock. Let's go, banners. Let's go, let's go, let's go, Lions. Hey, Unk, I was with all the Lions fans today, Unk. Listen, those Lions fans, man, they treated me with such respect. Obviously, they all watch the show.
Starting point is 01:06:42 They all told me to tell you, hello. Hey, what's about, they all drove, four-hour drive. I was about fellas now. Yeah, it's not that. Yeah, it's not that. Hey, I'm talking, our age group, your head group, they, they 12, 13, 14D at the cigar bar. Man, I'm in there talking cold trash, huh? Hey, I'm talking cold trash.
Starting point is 01:07:01 You know, you know how I am. I'm for the letter rip. No matter what the outcome is, it was a mutual respect. You know, they showed love, man. That's all right. I really enjoyed the show. You know what, Ocho, I'm going to come down to Miami. We're going to go out.
Starting point is 01:07:14 I ain't been out. I ain't met out. I'm going to go out. That's what I'm talking about. So wait a minute, wait a minute. Now did you say you're coming down to Miami. So the NBA Young Boy concert on the 13th. That'd be the perfect time.
Starting point is 01:07:25 You know, unfortunately, I got something. We got something playing on the 13th. I get, listen, I was looking forward to getting your 5,900 that night. Oh, you're going to be 5900? I will be right there in cash. Yeah. So you might want to think about coming. Yeah, you know, I might think about that.
Starting point is 01:07:45 Think about that. Jay just said FSU wasn't supposed to score. This was a terrible win. No, it wasn't. Kristen Fields said, Johnny put A&M on the map. Man, please, they're still undiscovered territory. Texas and Missouri have at least played in the SEC championship. Which one of those teams got a Hosman trophy winner?
Starting point is 01:08:06 Uh-oh. Uh-oh. I tell you what. named they know johnny mansale who you know from play to missouri the field is called the house that johnny built did you realize they expanded that stadium is one of the largest stadiums in the country i think it might be the largest outside of tennessee in the whole cc they see it like johnny did that what player for missouri or texas has done that for their university would they say 100,000 plus yeah I think yeah I think it's a hundred and two
Starting point is 01:08:46 isn't it god damn I wouldn't I wouldn't with that environment like man on a Saturday man yeah 1002733 uh I think Tennessee's over 100,000 too Texas over 100 but I mean but that's the South I mean ain't nothing to do Georgia I mean Alabama got like 80 Georgia got like 80 Tennessee got Tennessee's over 100 only Vanderbilt got like 50,000 and that's crazy
Starting point is 01:09:20 that they stadium is bigger than NFL stadiums 1 10 yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Starting point is 01:09:28 yeah yeah yeah they're yeah they play football hey they play football in that area
Starting point is 01:09:37 of the country Adam Smith said Meady was talking about Arch Manning being the first overall pick and he's been hard garbage. I knew something was up when he couldn't beat out when he couldn't be that kid Quinn Ewers. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:51 True. That should have been a tell tell. And plus you got expectations, Ocho. I mean, Texas, the number one team in the country. He has that last name. He wouldn't have these kind of expectation if his last name wasn't Manning. If Peyton and Eli is not his uncle,
Starting point is 01:10:06 his grandfather is an archie yeah well hold on Paul Feinbaum said Arch Manning was the greatest quarterback he's ever seen outside of Tebow I can't even believe Paul would say that he better than Cam Newton stuff like that which is yes the hyperbole
Starting point is 01:10:26 it's okay say he's good for a young man but he ain't he wasn't better than Cam he wasn't better he wasn't better than Joe Burrow his last year come on man stop that it's okay listen right now you can't say that archmaney is better than Stets and Bennett Cam it's hard to say based on what Cam had to work with offensively Cam might be the greatest quarterback ever played you look at what he had to work with and what he did with that team when they say a one man show yeah he was Prince
Starting point is 01:11:04 he played the guitar he played the drums he played the piano he did he singing he dancing he doing all of that cam newton to auburn is what prince was he did it all and there's been some fabulous quarterbacks yeah in the cc i grew up in georgian so to say somebody better than cam newton based on what he had. Yeah. Nah. Mm-mm. Mm-mm.
Starting point is 01:11:35 Tim's bid said, I had two Cincinnati bingles, I had two Cincinnati tickets, bingles tickets in my car while I was at work. Somebody broke the window and left two more tickets. Damn, old joke! Hey, y'all got jokes. Y'all got jokes.
Starting point is 01:11:51 Now listen, now, listen, man. I, listen, tomorrow, tomorrow, I don't know what's going to happen. I do. We've seen it many of times where teams have been favored to win. And when it comes to the NFL, it's any given Sunday. Now, I know how great Detroit is. I love Detroit.
Starting point is 01:12:12 I love the fans, especially after today's interaction with them boys. And I've seen y'all with the Cardiades, too. All them boys had Cardiades too long. But I got to have faith in my team. I got to believe in my team. I got to believe in my team. I got to believe in Zach Taylor. I got to believe in my offense.
Starting point is 01:12:29 I got no choice but to believe in Jack Browning. Jake Browning, excuse me. Yeah, see, you got it right. Yep, because he's been jacking off these games. And he's about to get another one. Oh, and three. Y'all started two and oh, about to be two and three. You're going to be all right.
Starting point is 01:12:45 I'm telling you. Tyrant said if you're an FSU fan, you shouldn't be able to say foot or ball. All about the U. Lonnie Jansen said the U is back. Jay said, yo, Unk, remember what you said of a team schedule, you for homecoming,
Starting point is 01:13:01 it means that the team see you at some slow. Well, my SSC bulldogs put something on your SSU target today at our homecoming. You may need to go be the office coordinator, Unk, they need you. Hold on.
Starting point is 01:13:16 The first week of October is homecoming. Oh, come on, man. Already? Yeah, that, hey, I remember, I remember, the first time I noticed that we played who we played for homecoming we played out of the state my freshman year man they beat the brakes off of I said no I say I tell you what I said I'm gonna put a stop with this put us on
Starting point is 01:13:42 homecoming if you want to I got something for y'all last right hey I had something for them after that I bet you they I bet you we weren't nobody else homecoming yeah I bet you that especially about you Oh, Fort Valley made that mistake. They put us as homecoming. My, my, that was my senior year. They did it my, my senior year. Hey, if, if, if BCU homecomings that started,
Starting point is 01:14:08 I wonder if I could make it down the family homecoming. Boy, he doesn't like homecoming. I think every, I think every, every college student should have to go experience an HBCU homecoming. Go in the student center and feel the buzz. It starts that Monday and feel the buzz as you walk into the student center. As you walk in the park, as you walk the halls, you've got to feel that. Ain't nothing like it.
Starting point is 01:14:38 Hey, listen, nothing to get no PWI. Ain't nothing like an HBC. It's not the same. Ain't nothing like an HBC you homecoming. Not the same. Nothing. Nothing. My brother's coming out and said, my brother's coming out and like, man.
Starting point is 01:14:54 and y'all be having a good time absolutely hey when i had the opportunity experience my daughter cross nova as an a k and they probate that's one thing but when i'm back for privy a and him home coming on and everybody that purple a goal all alumni hey um i like you know what i got the experiences at fam i got to go and every ain't nothing like it every year when family home come and come around working. I'm not talking about us, but I'm just saying I'm happy to be somewhere else. Yeah, you know what, Ocho? Hoping this shit, I could go.
Starting point is 01:15:31 Unfortunately, a series of unfortunate events prevents me from being at homecoming. So you have a good time, okay? You're not going? No, you know, I just, you know. Okay, okay. You're chilling, huh? Yeah, yeah. Jason said, I got a serious question, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:15:50 What stinks more? Your bingles are all you know, or all that you know eat all the time. Hey, let me tell you something. Like, everybody's taking shots at us right now, rightfully so, you know, it says more about you that you would kick a team while a team is down knowing that the best quarterback in the game is out with a toe injury who just had surgery and won't be back until December.
Starting point is 01:16:16 It won't be back this year. Because why are you bringing it back? Y'all going to be out of the playoffs? Why bring it back? Who's going to be out of the playoffs? y'all but we might still win the division man don't do that hey in four more weeks it'll be y'all season over yeah it's it's start it's start tomorrow it's start tomorrow for us our season start tomorrow y'all season ended when joe burrow when that when joe burrow put his arms over
Starting point is 01:16:40 those guys shoulders y'all season ended right then hey zeldor said hey ocho your bingo's not even the best team in cincinnati the bearcats are better and he is okay All right, I don't, listen, simmer down, whoever that is. King loose baby said, oh, oh, Cho, me and my brother are having a debate. Who was better overall quarterback? James Winston or Marcus Mariotta? Ooh. James.
Starting point is 01:17:10 James, yeah. Kevin Hayward is the quarterback for Western Carolina, Terran Dickens. he was 46 or 46 passing at one point and finished 53 of 56 3708 yards and three touchdowns what the hell he was throwing checkdowns and jam break screens how the hell you go 46 or 46 I saw that that's in one game or over the stretch of games that was one game I wonder who they was playing I saw when it went across the ticker hell I must have been linebacker you must have been a corner But like, I wouldn't pick something off now. That's what I do. Jason Zeldorf said, have you ever watched the movie Glory Road? If so, did you enjoy it? If you have it, you need to watch it.
Starting point is 01:18:03 I have not. I haven't either. Peggy Hager said, ease up. They lost six to seven key players. This group is harder to coach. Pray for coach. He announced he may have more blood clots. To you mean people in the chat, Coach Prime said,
Starting point is 01:18:19 don't argue with you guys. Damn, I didn't know that. I did notice he had a white shoe on his left foot and a black shoe on his right foot. I did notice that. Because at first I thought he was out there. I was like, I know damn well. Time ain't out there with a sock on one foot
Starting point is 01:18:36 and just a regular shoe on the other foot. But as I took a closer look, but time, you know, we're praying for you, bro. We hope everything, hey, it's been a tough stretch over the last three or four years for you, bro. You had the blood clots, ended up losing a couple of toes, and then you just had your bladder replaced the cancer. And so, bro, you know, I know you a man of faith,
Starting point is 01:18:58 and I know you believe. But the nightcap family, we're definitely praying for you. And hopefully everything works out. You go to the doctor and everything checks out. But, man, we're praying for your time. Kippinaw with you, he said, hey, Ocho, your bingers are going to have to get quarterback if y'all want to win because Browning is not the answer.
Starting point is 01:19:18 He's not. He never was. Listen, I'll tell you what, I'll tell you what, as much as Zach Taylor says in the media this past Wednesday, how much he believes in Browning, I think if for some Godforsaken reason we happen to lose and lose to the Lions, I think they will go out and get quarterback this week to somewhat salvage the season
Starting point is 01:19:39 to see what we can do. I really think they're going to make that move. That's just like trying to salvage the 1972 Pinto. It's over. We're two and two. It's over. We're two and two. It's over.
Starting point is 01:19:52 Let's step, but we're two and going to be all right. PJ, PJ, P11, say, do you think teams are overdoing it with going for it on fourth down, especially when there's an opportunity to get points? Well, that's when you don't have trust in your defense and you don't believe kick and field goals will win you the game. So you have to understand your team. You have to understand situation. And you have to understand the pulse of how the game is being played at that particular time.
Starting point is 01:20:16 So I'm sure they go in with the course of the week. Okay, if we're close, if it's fourth and one, if it's fourth and two, and with this area of the field, we're going for it. Because kicking field goals is not going to win us games against that team and we don't have the type of defense that'll be able to hold up. So no. Field to make nasty, your uncano, thanks for their advice on fear being nerds. I want a goal in my local jihitsu tournament question.
Starting point is 01:20:42 Where do you get your hero villain shirt? also if we auction Ocho's award that will cover the debt you know what you're right I don't know my sister be finding these these superheroes I'm running out now I mean I've brought like 50 of them

Starting point is 01:21:18 Shonnell, Shondale, happy 30th birthday. Happy 30th, man. Hey, the 20 is behind you now. The big 3-0, bro, enjoy. Life is just beginning. You enter in your prime now, bro. Happy birthday, happy 30th birthday. Man, I remember not turning 30, oh, Joe.
Starting point is 01:21:37 Yeah, I'm still 30. Hey, like Drake say, what a time. to be alive. Hey. Hey, let me tell you something. You're going to be saying that when we had that concert. No, Ocho, Ocho, Ocho, I'm going to probate, Ocho, 26. My probation officer said, Mr. Sharp, with good behavior,
Starting point is 01:22:00 if with good behavior, you'll start a clean slate in 26. I'm going to be on my best behavior. So you're not really understanding why I'm trying to get you to go. I'm trying to get us, you and I as one, to go back to our roots. see that that was that ain't never been my roots man we was young young and having fun and just enjoying life and enjoying ourselves and just i think getting back in touch with our roots will help us long term in seeing where we need to go to the other side so uh unfortunately i'll have to let you do it by yourself taro wallace said please help me wish my son either a happy night
Starting point is 01:22:43 birthday also wish his team, the Dolphins, good look on his big day. Ethan, happy night's birthday, and good luck in the game. Make sure you celebrate. Yeah. Talk shit. Nine, man. I remember that was nine, too. That wasn't yesterday or the day before.
Starting point is 01:23:02 Man, I got my family. Man, damn, well, y'all won't let me live. Man, George, man, damn. I can't live. I can't remember nothing. I can't have me a good time. Man, I remember 1977? Man, I got some haters amongst us.
Starting point is 01:23:19 Let me hear him and wrap this stuff. I got to get y'all up out of here. DeWan Hyne says, who they, who they, who they think they're going to beat them lines? Nah, the bingoes. Hey. That ain't happened, no, Cho. That ain't happening. Tell you.
