We got the graphic okay we got a graphic we're gonna put the graphic up so you can see you can only pick two pills and you see what they are the red one be rich oh blood blue bring someone back from the dead green read minds yellow minds. Yellow, never feel pain. Black, never catch a disease. They got this capsule. They got these little pellets in it. You got five plus
Starting point is 00:03:12 inches. Hey! I already know what I'm picking. Go ahead, what you got on, Joe? Well, let me see. I'm going to go through a process of elimination. Now, I was one when I was born. Well, let me see. I'm going to go through a process of elimination. Now, I was one when I was born.
Starting point is 00:03:28 I wasn't always blessed. So I don't need the blue pill because I went and saw Dr. Miami and got that procedure done. So I'm good in that area. Oh, you already got it. You got it. Okay, okay, okay. I see. Yeah, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:03:40 I picked up what you put down real quick. Yeah, you picking up what I'm putting down? Yeah, so I'm good in that area. I don't really want to read minds because I can just read body language and tell how someone acts based on whether the chemistry or anything is right. You don't want to read her mind because she be thinking about somebody else
Starting point is 00:03:56 while she with you. Exactly. I ain't got time for this. I ain't got time. I'd be hurt. I don't need the red pill because I'm kind of set. I'm kind of set in that area.
Starting point is 00:04:02 be hurt. I don't need the red pill because I'm kind of set. I'm kind of set in that area. Never catch a disease. You know what? I went to the doctor two months ago, so I'm okay. I'm okay in that area. But never any disease. I ain't just talking about gonorrhea and syphilis
Starting point is 00:04:20 or AIDS. I'm talking about cancer. I'm talking about diabetes. Yeah. You know what? You new cancer. I'm talking about diabetes Yeah, you know what now, you know you right, you know, I will let nature take its course So whatever's gonna happen is gonna happen. I'm gonna leave that in God's hands because this peel right here is the peel that I'm gonna take I'm taking that blue pill Bring somebody around. I'm taking that blue pill. I'm taking a blue pill I'm taking a blue pill cuz I would do the middle of the solid blue pill in the middle taking the blue pill. I'm taking the blue pill because I would do it.
Starting point is 00:04:45 The solid blue pill in the middle of the top row or the bottom right? Hold on, let me see. No, the first one on the top row. Okay, okay, I'm just checking. Because I thought you were talking about you trying to get that Okay, just so we clear. I'm looking at it in my notes. Okay. In my notes, I don't have a diagram
Starting point is 00:05:04 but I definitely, I would love, would love, I haven't had an opportunity to hear her voice in a very long time. I would love to have Hurricane Paula back.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Okay. I would love that. I would love, I just want to, I just want to say hello to my mama. Just one more time. Just curse me out
Starting point is 00:05:23 one more time. Oh, you got me one more time. Hmm. Ooh, you got me about to cry. Shit. Damn it. Hoo-wee. It's easy for me. Oh, yeah. I know that's tough for you, bro.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Ooh. Come on, get right, boy. I thank Ocho because of the relationship that you and your mom had early and what the relationship that you were able to repair towards the end and where you came to. That's what you like, man, because I think in the back of your mind, you think about all the years that you guys missed out on. Mm hmm. A lot of it. And so now you're like, well,
Starting point is 00:06:07 if I could just go back and get the years that we had at the end in the beginning. Yeah. Now. So I know, so I know what it feels like
Starting point is 00:06:19 to have a mother. Mm-hmm. I never had that feeling. My grandma raised me. Mm-hmm. I never had that feeling. My grandma raised me. Mm-hmm. I want you there when I was four, when I was five, when I was six,
Starting point is 00:06:30 when I was seven, when I was in high school. No, I didn't get to you until I got to Santa Monica Junior College. Hell, I'm already goddamn grown now. You grown, right. So I done missed all the good years on what it's like to have my mama.
Starting point is 00:06:44 Oh, shit. But here's like to have my mama. Oh, shit. But here's the thing, Ocho. Sometimes the best decisions doesn't involve her. The best decision was your grandma did what she did. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:59 We don't realize it because when we miss out on something, all we think about is what we missed out on but think about what you gained from your granny would i be the same person i am today without her no no because i believe it i believe grandparents love their grands more than they love their own kids. Right. Ain't no question. Ain't no question Mary Porter loved her three grand. She loved all her grands.
Starting point is 00:07:30 My granny had nine kids and she had a bunch of grandkids. But it's hard for me to believe that she loved any of the grands more than she loved those three. Because we were there every single day. My sister was there from 1970 until
Starting point is 00:07:43 2011. So my sister was there from 1907 until 2011. So my sister was there for 40-something years. I was there from 1907 until 86, until when I went to Savannah State, but I was there throughout. My brother the same until he went to school.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Right. And what she did for us, ain't no question in my mind that Granny loved us more than she loved her own kids. No question. You can't convince me otherwise. Because a lot of times, Ocho,
Starting point is 00:08:11 some of the mistakes that they made from raising their own kids, they can get to correct when they're raising their grands. So I know it's tough. I'm very fortunate my mom still alive, still has a great mind I talk to her, text my mom mainly texts
Starting point is 00:08:29 if I keep out of the casino playing the slots laughs laughs laughs that's what she used to do when she'd come to Denver Sharon my friend who rest her soul would take my mom up to the
Starting point is 00:08:44 tell Sharon I want mom up to the... Tell Sharon I want to go to the Slots. Yep, I already told her. Ooh, Ocho, so you taking the blue one? What's the other one you taking? You don't want to be rich. You don't want to read mine. You had the surgery. Yeah. You had the surgery.
Starting point is 00:09:01 So I can take two of them? You ain't got the baby arm. You got the baby leg. Okay, go ahead. Yeah, yeah, I'm good now. Probably I'd take I can take two up you ain't got the baby arm you got the baby leg okay go ahead yeah yeah I'm good now probably I'd take the yellow paint never feel no pain never feel no pain I'm going
Starting point is 00:09:15 I'm going blue I'm going the two middles I'm going blue and I'm going black so never catch disease yep okay okay
Starting point is 00:09:24 okay oh I see where you going with it okay I see you going you just finna go So, never catch disease? Yep. Okay, okay, okay. Oh, I see where you're going with it. Okay, I see where you're going. You just finna go, ha, ha, ha. No, no, no, no. You go, I said,
Starting point is 00:09:35 I just told you the two, I just told you the two, I just told you the two middle pills. You said black. Black pill is never catching disease. Yes. Yeah, I told you You finna get that diamond And go crazy
Starting point is 00:09:47 No no I don't I ain't gonna have no heart No cancer No kidney disease No none of them Okay okay Yeah I get no disease
Starting point is 00:09:54 I see you You want You want to give me The politically correct answer On why you picking a blue pill Yeah But I know I know
Starting point is 00:10:00 Hey listen I know what you're on there Hold on I picked the same blue pill you pick. Oh, yeah. You want to bring somebody back? I was talking about that black pill. But go ahead.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Now, I'm going to bring somebody back from the black pill and never catch a disease. OK. OK. OK. You know, well, you bring it back. I'm good. I'm good. The baby.
Starting point is 00:10:23 I got the baby. But I'm good. You know what I'm good with the baby arm I ain't got no baby name but I'm good you know what I'm saying who you bringing back though oh man oh my my dad cause my dad never saw me and my brother
Starting point is 00:10:39 play anything my granddad oh granny I thought you could only bring one person back oh someone damn oh granny I'm sorry I'm sorry Ochoa I've been bringing I've been bringing back the whole
Starting point is 00:10:54 you bringing back the whole family yeah granny oh yeah yeah yeah oh granny damn Yeah, yeah. Oh. Mm-mm. Great. Damn. Woo. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Hey, I'll bring back a whole bunch of people. Better than brought back the whole family. Look, friend of you, but you caught me off guard on that one. But that was a good one. I like that. That was a good one. Ocho, I don't know if you saw it last night. I attended
Starting point is 00:11:25 the Lakers game, and you see me, I'm standing outside. Twitter had all the jokes saying, I'm looking around to make sure Bron doesn't catch me. You got, are you standing with them underarmor shoes? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:40 On the table right there. Where they at? Right there. Let they at? Where they at? Right there. Let me get them. Nope. Okay. How about this?
Starting point is 00:11:50 Hey, these are the birthday joints too. I think me and Steph might be the same size. Hold on. What size that is? 13. Me and Steph the same size. Hey. You going to wear them?
Starting point is 00:11:58 No. You ain't going to wear them? I'm going to put them in a case. I'm going to put them in a case. I'm going to put them in a case. I'm going to put them in a case. I'm going to put them in a case. I'm going to put them in a case. I'm going to put them in a case. I'm going to put them in a case. I'm going to put them in a case. I'm going to the same side. Hey. You gonna wear them? No.
Starting point is 00:12:07 You ain't gonna wear them? I'm gonna put them in a case. I'll tell you about this. How about this? How about this? You send me that. You send me those. And I give you the, I give you LeBron ball where he scored 40,000 points.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Hey, you know I got that. I got your phone code too. Put that phone code in. Put that phone. See, you ain't even got, you ain't see, you don't even care about it. You supposed to have me
Starting point is 00:12:29 in the background. You ain't even put me up. Look at that. Look at Ocho, y'all. You got the shades over the nose. I got a, got a,
Starting point is 00:12:38 got a, what you call them? You got a microphone that's a soccer ball. You got a cheeseburger. He got a cheeseburger. He got a cheeseburger on. He got a little beanie. Actually,
Starting point is 00:12:51 it's like my first time ever meeting Steph. And you might know. Hey, what's good? Had a conversation. I said,
Starting point is 00:13:01 hey, bro, I appreciate that. I just wanted to see you. I said, I've been, I've been, it's like not for res bro, I appreciate that. I just wanted to see you. I said, I've been... It's like, not for resale. Look at that.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Inside, you can see it, not for resale. I don't know if y'all can see that. That's his actual shoe, right off his... So, these are good right there. Obviously, they're not for... They would never be sold. They're going in a container. You don't want to make that switch?
Starting point is 00:13:29 For what? I seen you, the game ball where LeBron hit 40,000 points for the shoes. No. You do realize I can hit LeBron up and just have him sign a ball and have him put 40,000 points. There's a difference. You just getting any ball, and I got the ball where he made the layup, 40,000 points.
Starting point is 00:13:48 I got his sign. There's a difference. Man, and I was at the game last night, Ocho. I was like, man, I wanted the Lakers to win so bad. LeBron went crazy, had 40. I mean, he was doing it. And then, man. When 80 went out, it kind of hurt him, huh?
Starting point is 00:14:03 Well, the thing was is that the Lakers was getting ready to blow the game open, and they brought Klay in. And Klay had like 17 in the first quarter. From three? No, he had 17. Well, he hit his first couple from three. And then you had Steph, because Steph had zero points in the first quarter. And then you look up, you're like, damn, Steph got 17 too.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Out of nowhere. You look up again like, damn, we got 25. Yeah. And then Kameka. Quiet. Quiet. That young fella, man. He nice.
Starting point is 00:14:38 Yeah. And see, I don't like to think LeBron hit a three. And 45 seconds passed. And they say, we have an announcement to make. The LeBron James three does not count. He was out of bounds. I'm like, man, 45 seconds done passed.
Starting point is 00:14:54 It kind of, like, took the whole air out of the building, and then, like, the last two minutes of the ball game took, like, 15, 20 minutes because the clock, the shot clock wouldn't start. So it was just like, oh, everybody like, here we go again. Here we go again.
Starting point is 00:15:09 They lost all the momentum if they did have any momentum. No, he didn't step up. LeBron hit that three. I was like, but he had it going last night. I was at the game. I was at the game that he broke the record. He had it going like that. He had it going too. They ended up losing. I was like, damn. But he had it going last night, up losing like damn but he had it going
Starting point is 00:15:25 last night man i mean it was it was great to see but steph clay cominga lebron i mean lebron draymond was in control of the game he looked like young draymond third i think he had 12 13 rebounds 12 13 assists he only had like two or four four two or four points but he could tell like he was just the pass that he was hitting Steph with. It sure would have been nice to get an invite to a Laker game. I invited you. You said you had something else to do Saturday. Oh yeah, I was at my
Starting point is 00:15:56 daughter's track meet. She ran a USL. She did very well. Shout out to Kentucky Wildcats track team. Salute y'all. Now it's track season outside so i'll be i'll be traveling a little bit more on the road i'm excited to watch the rest of track season yeah so that was that was good to see like i hadn't been to a lakers game because i was i was working you know i'd be working i don't i don't i understand like look i'll be wanting to go i missed the uh yannis game i missed uh uh uh the yokich game uh who else i missed
Starting point is 00:16:34 yokich and i hadn't seen dave play i wouldn't see dave i called the first game uh kd that's my first time no i had saw kd play I saw KD play in the finals in 20 in both years. Yeah. I saw him in Golden State and then we went on the road to Cleveland. So I'd seen KD. So I just wanted to see like the top guys play. But, hey,
Starting point is 00:16:58 I got to work. Work calls. Yeah, I got you. You're right. You're right. All right, Ocho. It's time for another favorite of ours. Our next segment is called Spell-O-Single. Are we spelling?
Starting point is 00:17:13 Spelling, spelling. Hey! I like that. Okay. Ocho, are you ready? Yeah. Now, there's two ways to pronounce this. Some people say Caribbean and some people say...
Starting point is 00:17:33 Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Huh? Is it going to have a silent letter? There's two words, two ways to say this word. Some people say Caribbean and some people say caribbean and some people say caribbean spell caribbean c-a-r-R-B. Wait, C-A-R. You said Caribbean.
Starting point is 00:18:10 Yes. C. What do you mean? C-A-R-I-B-B. I just said that. No, you did not say that. First of all, you said double R, and then you said double B, but you left the A out. That's why I'm messing up. No, you are messing up.
Starting point is 00:18:23 You got that wrong. Okay. No, you didn't even let me finish. We don't need to finish. You do realize once you spell it wrong, they don't let you go back and... Wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:18:32 No, you didn't even let me say the word. You have to let me say the word and then use it in a sentence. Then I'm done. C-A-R-I-B-B-E-N. No. C-A-R-I-B-B-E-N. You missed that one.
Starting point is 00:18:44 Okay. Okay, we're going to go to one. Okay. You cheating, man. We're going to go to the next word. Connecticut. Oh. C-O-N-N- E-T-I-C-U-T-T. That is right. C-O-N-N-E-T-I-C-U-T.
Starting point is 00:19:06 C-U-T. Thank you. That's what I said. No, you didn't. Okay, here's an easy one for you. This is a very easy word. Hey, y'all, y'all, chat, he cheating, man.

Starting point is 00:25:08 As we give you questions, the guy got one more chance. Okay. Go ahead. All right, here we go. Here we go. Hey, that was funny. Hey, them hard-ass words.
Starting point is 00:25:20 I ain't won the spelling bee since 1987. Yeah. We can tell. Okay, here we go. Dunk on Unk Trivia. Come on, chat. Y'all ready? Which team is the
Starting point is 00:25:36 only franchise to never ever have a 4,000 yard passer? Ever. Wow. Oh, my goodness. That's a good one. Ooh-wee.
Starting point is 00:25:58 He was the first one to have a 4,000-yard passer. I almost said that. Oh. I don't know. I was going to go with the Bears. Oh, you've been talking bullshit, man. You cheat.
Starting point is 00:26:13 I said, no. Don't you cheat, though. Hey, Chad. Hey, Chad. Come on, man. You do the same thing every time, acting like you don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:24 Then all of a sudden, you pop out with the right answer. But here's the thing. I almost went with the Jets, but the Jets had the first 4,000-yard passer, which was Joe Naiman. He was the first one to pass for 4,000. But if you go back and look at the Bears quarterbacks, who in the hell you think would have ever threw for 4,000 yards?
Starting point is 00:26:44 Jim McMahon. They ran the football. Okay, hold on. The answer's not complete. It is the Bears, but I need the quarterback's name. If you don't know the quarterback's name, then it's wrong. You told me that you say name the team
Starting point is 00:27:00 that's never had a 4,000... You have to know the quarterback as well, because you can't give me an incomplete answer. The Bears has never had a 4,000-yard passer. All right, who's the quarterback that's never had a 4,000? Yeah, and you have to know the quarterback as well because you can't give me an incomplete answer. The Bears has never had a 4,000-yard passer. All right, who's the quarterback that's had the most? He got the closest to 4,000. He actually had 3,838 yards. That wasn't a question, but I'll go Jay Cutler.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Wrong. Wrong. So you got the answer completely wrong. You can't, hold on. You added a, you can't add an addendum. You said who was the only team that's never had a quarterback throw can't, hold on. You added a dim, you can't add a dim you said who was the only team that's never had a quarterback throw for 4,000 yards. I said the Bears. Then you asked up to try
Starting point is 00:27:32 to stump me. I already got it. Okay, no, I'm not trying to stump you but you have, it's the Bears but you also have to add the quarterback for context for the people that are listening. See, no you said what's the only team that's never had a 4,000-yard passer?
Starting point is 00:27:47 I said the Bears. The question is done after that point. You said, well, who the hell is the passer? You got to answer the question. Nobody has ever thrown
Starting point is 00:27:55 for 4,000 yards for the Bears. So the answer is the only team in NFL history without a 4,000-yard passer is the Bears. And the point is to answer the question completely and tell us who's the person that got
Starting point is 00:28:07 the closest to it. No, ain't no closest. Well, you get a 50-50. Okay, can we... Come on, I gotta get another one. I gotta try to get another one. Here we go. Between Anthony Munoz, Will Shields, and Larry Allen, which Hall of Fame offense alignment has been selected to the
Starting point is 00:28:23 most Pro Bowls? Ah, Will Shields. Yeah, and it's close too. Yeah. Will Shields has been selected to the Pro Bowl 12 times. Munoz and Larry Allen have both been selected 11 times. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:40 That was... It's all good I mean listen I knew that one I knew that one Go ahead Okay Number three
Starting point is 00:28:51 The most points ever scored In a regular season game By a team Is 606 What? Which is an average of 37.9 points per game Name the team
Starting point is 00:29:04 The Broncos did that I'm. Name the team. The Broncos did that with Peyton Manning. I'm going to give you a hint. The Broncos. Peyton Manning and Marius Thomas, those guys, the year they lost to what you call they lost to Seattle in the Super Bowl. When he threw 55 touchdowns that season. Yeah. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:29:21 See, I got them hard-ass goddamn spelling bee right. Who they give. See you. I got them hard ass. Got them spelling. Spelling bee questions. Oh, Joe. Well, they broke. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:30 You want me to tell you who record they broke? They broke the Patriots record of 2007. And you know who the Patriots record they broke? They broke the 83 risk of Washington football. They were the, you know, the derogatory term, but they broke their record.
Starting point is 00:29:42 Right. Okay. Okay. All right. Mark month, Aaron Garrett, you know, the fun bunch. Go ahead. All right. Number four.
Starting point is 00:29:49 Only five teams in NFL history. Has there been a team with a trio of one, damn, a trio? A trio of 1,000-yard receivers. The last time it happened was in 2008. What team was it and who were the three receivers? They had three 1,000 yard receivers. Receivers, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Yeah. It's only happened five times, too, in NFL history. And it happened in 2008. It's a good one. Oh, I was about to say something. You know what? I'm going to go on a little. I'm going to say something. You know what? I'm going to go on a limb. I'm going to say the Colts with Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, and Gonzalez.
Starting point is 00:30:32 Gonzalez or Stokely? Was Stokely still there? No, he wasn't there. No, but you are wrong anyway. The answer is the 2008 Arizona Cardinals. Larry Fitzgerald had 1431. Anquan Bolden had 1038. And Steve Breston had 1006 yards. Yeah, hell, I never got that one.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Mm. Okay, number five. The Colts had it in 04. That's when Stokely was there. Oh, yeah. Stokely did have it, but not in 2008. Right. True or false?
Starting point is 00:31:06 Russell Wilson has more career rushing yards than Cam Newton. Ooh. True or false? Russell Wilson has more career rushing yards than Cam Newton. Don't forget, Russell had them legs, boy. Back in the
Starting point is 00:31:24 days now. Be careful. I'm going to say false. I'm going to say false. Man, you just throwing that answer out there, man. But you are right. Russell Wilson has 5,307 rushing yards. The Cam Newton's 5,628 yards. Okay, you got one right.
Starting point is 00:31:44 You got one right. I was three out of four. Nah, some of them, some of those questions. Some of those questions weren't difficult enough because if you look at the questions you asked me to spell, like, ain't no way in hell. Think about all the teams. Only one
Starting point is 00:32:00 team has not had a 4,000-yard passer. You thought that was easy? No. Yes, it was easy because you could just break it down based on quarterbacks that have had success in the passing game. It's pretty easy. And you already knew the answer. Someone let
Starting point is 00:32:16 you know what questions were going to be asked because you'd be thinking about it. Ash put this together and there was one thing, one catch, between Odell Beckham and somebody else. You think she won't be the win? Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:32:30 I don't know. And then you always play like, oh, man. Oh, man. I don't know this. And he'd be like, well, the Bears. And then you always got the answer right. Hold up. First of all, is your producer that's writing dunk on Unk?
Starting point is 00:32:47 All right. Right. Right. Hold up. First of all, is your producer that's writing Dunk on Unk? Alright. Right. Don't worry about it. Let me get one more spelling question. Let me get one more spelling question. We got something for you tomorrow. Okay, okay, okay. Ash don't even see the question.
Starting point is 00:33:01 Alright. It's time for our last segment of the day, and it's a Q&A. Q&A, baby. Ask me anything. Ask me anything. Isaac Lopez says, hello, Unc and Ocho. I saw you, Unc, in the Jumbotron at the Lakers game last night. It was my second ever NBA game.
Starting point is 00:33:24 LeBron and Steph were cooking. What a game. Fortunate to see them play. That's absolutely correct. LeBron was sensational. Steph was sensational. Klay came in, and like I said, they were on the verge of blowing this game open.
Starting point is 00:33:37 And Darvin Hamm, you see what Steve Kerr did? Klay Thompson came in and started cooking. He don't normally play like that. He doesn't normally play those minutes, but he saw him hot and he left him in the game. Duh, that's probably what you should do with Austin Reeves and Rui. When they get it going, I know you got like, you know what, I only want these guys to play like the first six, seven minutes of the game, but when they get it going like that, leave them in the game. But you're right, Isaac, that was a great game to see. Witness up close and personal.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Two all-time greats going at it. Kemper Norwood Jr. says, my question is, who do you think has a better backup? Russell Wilson with Justin Fields or Trevor Lawrence with Matt Jones? That's easy. Who you got? Hey, Russell
Starting point is 00:34:24 Wilson and goddamn Justin Fields. You got to think about that. Yeah, because it might be closer than you think. Ah. When you say they're better than Justin Fields, are you just looking at talent or are you looking at play? I'm looking at
Starting point is 00:34:48 them being able to extend plays. I'm looking from a talent, talent perspective as well. What Justin Fields was able to do in spurts, what Russell Wilson is capable of doing, and I'm looking at supporting cast. You do make y'all let a team to the playoffs his rookie year, right?
Starting point is 00:35:02 What has he done since then? Justin Fields never let a team to a playoffs his rookie year, right? What has he done since then? Justin Fields never led a team to a playoff. Again, I'm going with Justin Fields. Okay. And with their supporting cast, too. Their supporting cast over in Pittsburgh is much better than that.
Starting point is 00:35:18 I mean, I'm trying to understand how the guy can... Yeah, well, yeah. I mean, they lost Ridley. I mean, Ridley, I mean, youley, I mean, you know, now they still got Christian Kirk. That's special. They still got Evan Ingram. What's Jones?
Starting point is 00:35:32 Zay Jones. Zay Jones ain't there, is he? Yeah, did he leave? Okay, Zay is still there. Yeah. ATN. Ooh, he nice. Mm-hmm. I think, you know what ocho it's closer than you think but i would go with fields okay if you give me a choice to take one of the other i'll take fields right
Starting point is 00:35:56 but i ain't gonna give you a whole lot for either one of them no further say oh looking back, how do you feel about your comments on Mahomes after he was drafted? You said he would be the least successful between Watson and Trubisky. I thought Watson hadn't
Starting point is 00:36:15 disappointed. When Watson was in Clemson? No, at Houston. Oh, Houston, yeah. He was sensational. Oh, yeah. Trubisky, I didn't think Trubisky. I couldn't understand how somebody let Watson go after Trubisky. I was basically looking at guys that have come out of that system, the system that Mahomes cut his teeth in.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Nobody's ever been successful. So I'm just basing it on I've never seen anybody play in that air raid system have success in the NFL. He got with Andy. Andy saw something because they zoomed up. But as I say this, I was wrong in my assessment. But if Andy thought Patrick Mahomes would have been this, he'd have zoomed all the way up to number one to take it.
Starting point is 00:37:03 Oh, yeah. But he's been, whew. I knew he was special and he could be really good. The last game of the season, they played the Broncos his rookie year. It was a very cold game. They rested a lot of their starters. They didn't let Alex Smith play. And he goes out and throws, I think he threw three touchdowns.
Starting point is 00:37:26 I said, Alex Smith is not coming back next year. No, I'm serious. I was like, he's not coming back. He's better than advertised. I mean, like I said, I mean, his first three, I mean, his first six years, seven years I've been in the league, nobody
Starting point is 00:37:41 can compare to this. I know Brady has the same number of Super Bowls, but he got two MVPs, three Super Bowl MVPs. It's crazy. I was wrong with that one. I didn't see this one, but I was just basing it on the system that he came out of because there have been a lot of guys in that system
Starting point is 00:38:00 throw for umpteenth yards. I mean, I think he threw for like 700 yards against Oklahoma. He threw for 700 yards in the game. He threw the ball 88 times, Ocho. He went no goddamn defense that day. Baker Mayfield threw for like five-something. Baker Mayfield had like 20-something completions
Starting point is 00:38:17 and 500 yards. Stephanie Warfield thank you both for all the laughs and lessons name your Mount Rushmore NFL Hall of Fame speeches also do you have any NBA Hall of Fame speeches man I ain't never watched the speeches
Starting point is 00:38:37 I don't really watch the NBA either not the Hall of Fame speeches honestly I really couldn't tell you anybody but the guys that that were all that that i was up there with i mean for me ocho that's my speech had kind of been writing itself for like 30 40 years because i just everything was just getting a sequence and how i wanted to start i know you know once i once i got the I got the nod that I was going to be in, I kind of knew the people that I wanted to thank.
Starting point is 00:39:13 Right. Now it's the sequence in which I want to put them in. Because I couldn't thank everybody because now I'm devaluing the people that I really, really want to thank. Right. Yeah, there are a lot of people. I could have thanked my pop, want to coach, this coach. And that's not a shot on anybody that thanked those people.
Starting point is 00:39:29 But I wanted the people that I thanked, I want them to feel special, special. Because I don't believe I could have made it here without you. Without them. Yeah. So that was my thought process was. Obviously, I knew my grandmother was going to be last. Kind of knew what I wanted to say. I think, you know, obviously, family members, it's easy. You know, you want you know what you want to say about your brother. You want to say about your sister, Miss Kiels, who was my remedial reading teacher. She was also my Spanish teacher.
Starting point is 00:40:06 I know people laugh when she told me I should take Spanish and it would help my reading. I said, no, you're going to help me repeat my sophomore year. That's what you're going to help me do. That's the only thing you're about to help me with. And Coach Hall,
Starting point is 00:40:20 because Coach Hall had been knowing my family, he drove the bus for my mom. My mom graduated high school in 1960. He drove the bus. He taught my mom then. So here he is teaching my brother and everybody that came through my family. Right. So obviously Coach Reed for drafting me and believing in me.
Starting point is 00:40:43 But like I said, Ocho, I really couldn't tell you a whole lot of Hall of Fame speeches. Yeah, I've never really watched the Hall of Fame speeches. I know who goes in. Most of the time, if it's someone that I know personally, I send them that text. Congratulating, and that's it. As far as watching, I've never watched the ceremony. David Bell said, what's up, Uncle Nocho?
Starting point is 00:41:07 Two-part question for both. One of the boxing matches you wish you could have seen in person besides Floyd. Actually, watch Floyd fight. Who's the best fighter in boxing right now? Keep up the great work.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Oh, I like this one. A boxing question. That's right up my alley. Now, one of the fighters that I wish I could have watched when he was fighting is Emmanuel Augustus. I wish I could have watched Emmanuel Augustus, the drunken master, fight at any point in time simply because of the entertainment value that he brought. Prince Nassim. I, obviously, if you watch me play football,
Starting point is 00:41:45 you know I am flashy, flamboyant, and I like anyone in another sport that brings that same type of entertainment value to the table, and that's what those two did. Very, very flashy. Prince Nassim and Emmanuel Augustus for me. And the best fighter in the game today, right now?
Starting point is 00:42:02 Oh, shit. Probably got to go weight classes. That's tough. Because, you know, I love Bud. Yeah, yeah, Bud is at 147 right now, right? Or did he go up to 154? He ain't gone up yet.
Starting point is 00:42:19 But, you know, you got Benavidez. Benavidez is not at 154. No, what I'm saying, Bud, as a fighter right now. You know, I got Benavidez. Benavidez is not at 154, 165. No, what I'm saying, as a fighter right now, you know, I got a chance to see Tyson fight. Oh, yeah. I got a chance to see Holyfield fight. I saw Floyd fight.
Starting point is 00:42:35 I saw Day La Jolla fight. In person. Probably Roy Jones Jr. Woo-wee! Boy, it was a real deal, boy. Obviously, if you could have saw those 80s fights with Hagler Hearns, Sugar Ray Hearns. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:53 Sugar Ray Hearns. Mm-hmm. Roberto Duran. Yeah. What about, remember Mickey Ward and... Arturo Gatti. Arturo Gatti? Arturo Gatti. The trilogy, yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Them was wars. Yes. Them was some wars. Yep. I'm trying to think. At best, honestly, at 147, I'm going to say excluding Bud. Let's say Bud is at 154. I like Boots.
Starting point is 00:43:19 Boots Ennis. I like Boots Ennis. And then Boots brings that entertainment value, which is why I mentioned in Boots Ennis and then and Boots brings that entertainment value which is why I mentioned in Boots he brings that same Prince Nassim type you know
Starting point is 00:43:30 Emmanuel Augustus type later on in the later rounds he'll start getting flashy and tricky and doing some of the stuff that like
Starting point is 00:43:39 is entertaining to me yeah the guy that I don't know if he's the offensive fighter but he was every bit as good a defensive fighter as Sweet Pea Whitaker.
Starting point is 00:43:48 Oh, Sweet Pea Whitaker. Nice, yeah, man. His defense was his offense, shit. His defense was his offense. See, the thing with Floyd, until Floyd's hands got rid of Floyd was knocking people out. People don't realize that Floyd was knocking people out at one point. Early in his career.
Starting point is 00:44:03 He was willing to engage more during that time. But his hands, the last thing you want to do is break your hand in the first and second round, third round, and then you got to go because now all of a sudden, but man, Floyd was so good with it, man.
Starting point is 00:44:21 But those guys back then, like in the 80s when they had, cause think about it. They had Duran. You had Hagler, you had Hearns and you had sugar rate. And then on the outside, you had Iran Barkley who many considered the fifth horseman.
Starting point is 00:44:38 Those guys were called the four horse. Right. But you had the fifth horseman, which was Iran Barkley. Eighties were loaded and they fought. Barkley, the 80s were loaded. And they fought. You know what the funny thing is? I think we're loaded today. We're loaded today with immense talent, but the problem is getting the fighters to
Starting point is 00:44:54 fight each other the way they did in the 80s. Oh, they fight. You had to. I mean, you couldn't, like I said, you couldn't duck. You had to fight. I mean, they demanded. Hearns had to fight Sugar Ray right Sugar Ray but actually Sugar Ray came back and fought Marvin Hagler at 160 not at 147 he fought him at 160
Starting point is 00:45:15 damn because Hagler was a middleweight. Now, super middleweight is 168. Roy started at 54, went to 60, went to 168. Middleweight, went to light heavy, won the heavyweight title. Yeah. You know, what's funny, I thought I might have saw it. I don't know if the Flyer or the little... I saw Canelo, not Canelo, Charlo, Charlo and Plant. I thought, I don't know if it was real or not,
Starting point is 00:45:48 but for July or June... I haven't seen it. Yeah, a friend of mine sent it to me. They're supposed to fight in June. I don't know if it's real. You know how people just be making flyers and just putting a date on there. But that's going to be a good one.
Starting point is 00:46:03 That's going to be a good one if they do, if they do have that coming up. People say they wanted to see Sugar Ray and Floyd. Man, that was a good one. Yeah. Starting point is 00:49:12 That should be big Mac. Oh, they want, they want you. That's all your last name. It real. They don't realize that real last name is Rosado. Rosado.
Starting point is 00:49:24 You really J cast. Oh, Denver native. Uh, they don't realize that real last name is Rosado. Rosado. Jcast, Denver native. Here, what was the better food spot? Denver Diner or Columbine State. I never ate at any of those places, so I wouldn't tell you. My place to eat at was Black Eyed Peas. That was my favorite restaurant. Soul food?
Starting point is 00:49:42 No. Black Eyed Peas is not soul food? No. It's home cooking, but it ain't soul food. But, you know, they had, like, they had, like, mac and cheese and black eyed peas and green beans. They had dressing.
Starting point is 00:49:56 But it ain't like we do it. Okay, okay, okay. I see what you mean. I see what you mean. I didn't eat at any of those places. I'm trying to think. Black Eyed Peas. What did we...
Starting point is 00:50:08 Man, I couldn't even tell you. I ate at Bruce's up in Greeley. Anybody know about Bruce's? Home of the world famous mountain oysters. Oysters? Yeah, mountain oysters. Bull testicles You eat those
Starting point is 00:50:27 I ate them And they had some turkey ones up there too I tried those But uncle you boy You boy you'll eat anything But when it comes to Whoa whoa whoa Uh uh
Starting point is 00:50:43 You know the May team Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, don't want to eat no ass, you don't want to suck no toes. Okay, Aaron Edwards of you know what to do. My bad. You're not going to be doing that, though, Cho? My bad, my bad, my bad. Let me use the restroom real quick. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:51:16 Man, he always try to get somebody to do some more crazy stuff. Yep, Black Eyed Peas off of Havana. Is it still open? Yep, Black Eyed Peas off of Havana. Is it still open? And there was also one off of... Where is that Black Eyed Peas off of? Arapaho.
Starting point is 00:51:38 If I'm not mistaken, there was a Black Eyed Peas off of Arapaho. Yeah, but that was the old one of the days. The old one of the days. Whew! I wish I had me a good old black IP right here in L.A.
Starting point is 00:51:55 It probably wouldn't be in this area, but I wouldn't mind taking a little drive out there. Man, Ocho, man. I don't know what Ocho be on. I don't know where the deal is, man.
Starting point is 00:52:08 I really don't. What happened? Nothing. What happened? What? Hey. Huh? You know who Jersey this is?
Starting point is 00:52:20 Some Nigerian. Nope. Okay, I'm going to give you a hint. And the chat probably don't know either. The greatest Brazilian soccer player that ever touched the pitch. Pele. Ah, there you go.
Starting point is 00:52:33 There you go. Okay, you learning. You learning. You learning. You learning. You learning. I like it. I like it.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Like it. Aaron always asks, what's your top favorite phrases from your grandpa? Because he had bars. You know what I'm going to do? Actually, Aaron, I'm going to put, not all of them, but I'm going to put some of his sayings on shirts. But I think my favorite, I think you guys have heard me say it, never mistake, you know, habit for hard work.
Starting point is 00:53:02 That's my favorite. Because people think because they do something over and over, they're working hard. But the majority of the time, they're doing it out of habit. Lanny Ray asks, Shannon, you said your goal is to see the top current athletes live in person. Who is next on your list to see live?
Starting point is 00:53:22 Ocho, do you have an athlete that you want to see? Well, hopefully, if the Lord spare my life, I'm going to be at the Olympics in 28 because they're going to be here in L.A. Who would I want to see live? Man, you know what, Ocho? It's not so many, like, the basketball players, but I like events.
Starting point is 00:53:41 Like, I've been to a World Series. I've been to an NBA Finals. Obviously, I've been to a Super Bowl. I've been to an NBA Finals. Obviously, I've been to a Super Bowl. I want to do Wimbledon. I want to do Daytona 500. I've done Wimbledon. I've done Daytona.
Starting point is 00:53:56 Maybe the... I've been to the Derby. Been to the Kentucky Derby. Got an opportunity to meet Bob Baffert. And we've been cool ever since who would I like to meet I met well I ain't seeing
Starting point is 00:54:18 Mookie wasn't on was Mookie on that team nah hell nah he wasn't on that team he's with Boston at the time but I met Mookie on that team? Nah. Hell nah. He wasn't on that team. He's with the, he's with Boston at the time. But I met Mookie Betts a couple of months ago.
Starting point is 00:54:33 It's funny. It's funny when you meet people and they call you Uncle. They don't nobody call, man, don't nobody call, don't nobody call me, don't nobody call me
Starting point is 00:54:43 my name in the ball show. Right. Everybody, everybody call me Uncle. They call me Shea't nobody call me my name right everybody everybody called me uncle they called me shea i was like well damn i guess i guess that's i guess that's stuck that's all and shea stuck that's all people call me man yeah uh i was in the rest i was uh having a meeting today and uh some some l.a's like hey Shay, I said, who told you that my name's like? We watch your show all the time. We watch you in Nightcap with Ocho, and we watch Club Shay Shay, so we
Starting point is 00:55:12 know who you are. Thanks for your support. Renato said, Uncle Ocho, much love, Uncle. You're really on American Dad. How do you get to that? Ocho, what do you think of the new National Mexican team jersey? They reached out to me.
Starting point is 00:55:28 They asked me would I do a voiceover on American Dad. Yeah. And I'm like, ah. Because if I didn't do it, they were going to have J.B. Smoove do it. But I thought I was like, man, that'd be really cool. One day, you know, my kids or my grandkids like to see a cartoon and their dad, grandkids will actually see a cartoon, and their dad, granddad, is actually the voice.
Starting point is 00:55:50 So, man, I jumped on that thing with both feet. And, hell, I would like to do more of it. But, you know, you just go in the box, and, hey, you read your lines, and they're like, okay, can you give us a little bit more animation? Not so high, you know, till you get it right. Sometimes they'll call you back to do something, but for the most part,
Starting point is 00:56:11 it was easy. Jay Man said, Uncle Nocho, I'm debating on if my fiance and I should go to Vegas or Louisiana for our three-year anniversary for the casino experience. She'll turn 21 a few days before our anniversary. Bro, if you want a casino experience, you got turn... Oh, okay. She'll turn 21 a few days before our anniversary.
Starting point is 00:56:27 Bro, if you want a casino experience, you got to go to Vegas. Can't go to Louisiana for no casino experience. I mean, New Orleans has some casinos too now.
Starting point is 00:56:37 If I'm not mistaken because I remember seeing them when we played the Saints. Most, a lot of states have casinos but it ain't Vegas. It's just like
Starting point is 00:56:44 if you go to a fight, where you want to see the fight at, Ocho? MGM? Exactly. Vegas. It used to be Caesars. Caesars used to be the spot that they fought at. But Vegas, that's where Hearns, that's where Hearns and
Starting point is 00:56:58 Hearns and Sugar Ray, I think they fought there. You remember when the guy flew into the ring with Riddick Bowe and Holyfield was fighting? Yeah, he parachuted. Yeah, that was at Caesars. Okay. But go to Vegas. Gabrielle Morales said, you guys are inspiring being a minority of Asian and Hispanic who's studying sports media.
Starting point is 00:57:22 Who is a current team in this sport you guys would want to cover full-time? Love y'all. My birthday is April 5th. No one. Full-time for me, that's easy. Napoli. Obviously, mine would be soccer because of my love.
Starting point is 00:57:37 I would love to cover... You ain't trying to cover them every day? Yeah, I wouldn't have a problem. I would not have a problem. Listen, I'd move to Naples. If the opportunity presented itself to move to Naples in Italy and cover Naples every day,
Starting point is 00:57:50 I absolutely would. I got an opportunity to do nightcap every day. Huh? Yes, that's what I thought. Reeve says, Ocho, would you be open to coach my finances? I'm not good with money and spend a lot of my money on debt.
Starting point is 00:58:08 You older people, you got to pay what you pay. Ocho can't help you with that. I want to make myself more financially successful for me and my family. Bro, how did you incur the debt? Hey, you got, once you out of debt,
Starting point is 00:58:24 holler at your boy. When you get out of debt, holler at your boy. When you get out of debt, holler at your boy. I get you right. We're going to start slow. We're going to start with a three-month plan. If you can stick to that three-month plan, we're going to take that three-month plan from three to six months. I'm telling you, I get you right, man. Here's the question, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:58:40 We're going to knock out some of your wants, and we're going to focus on your necessities. That's how we start. But let me ask him this. How did you get in debt? Did you buy a house? Was it medical expenses? Or are you wearing your debt?
Starting point is 00:58:55 That's a good one. I just, that's it. Because if you're wearing your debt, I don't know what to tell you. Take that inch back. Now, if you got a house, you're in debt, or you't know what to tell you. Take that inch back. Now, if you got a house you're in debt or you had unforeseen medical expenses, got no problem with that, bro. Things come up.
Starting point is 00:59:12 But things you went in debt from some stuff that you didn't need? Right. Ocho can't help you. Isabel Correa, Ocho, give me a shout out to my boy Jose Garcia and the Denver Broncos
Starting point is 00:59:29 love thanks God bless you uh Garcia Jose Isabel said she wanted us to give you a shout out so we give you a shout out bro appreciate your support appreciate you watching us we really really appreciate it
Starting point is 00:59:44 Jose hola como esta Shout out, bro. Appreciate your support. Appreciate you watching us. We really, really appreciate it. Jose, hola, como esta? I'm going to go. Unknown E says, Uncle Nocho, I'm 25. I've struggled getting over a relationship, live together, et cetera. Wasn't my choice to end. Any advice on how to get back myself and gain confidence again and start over? Wait, she left you? Hey, bro, listen, I know how you feel.
Starting point is 01:00:08 I know how you feel. Everybody I've ever dated all my life, bro, they left me. So I'm with you in the same instance. For me, my outlet and my sense of peace when women left me is gaming. Gaming helped me get through. Because you got to think, for me, gaming takes up eight hours of the day. So those are eight hours. I'm not thinking about that individual. And that helped me tremendously. And I'm not sitting here playing around because when someone leaves you, that hurts because they've been a part of your life. They've been a part of your team for
Starting point is 01:00:39 a very, very long time. I know I play a lot, but that shit hurt, boy. That shit hurt, boy. That first month and you're used to that individual being around and then the thought of, damn, they're not here. What are they doing? What did I do wrong? You start talking about all the good times. How can I get them back? And then you're like, you know
Starting point is 01:01:00 the longer you apart, the harder it is to get a link back because you're probably going to start seeing somebody. You might see somebody. Oh, man, it's tough. It is tough. It's not an easy process. And the longer you've been with that person, the harder it is to get over.
Starting point is 01:01:16 Yeah. Nobody likes rejection. But. We've all either rejected somebody or been rejected yeah that's how i know it's easier doing the rejecting than getting over the rejection yeah but sometimes you just it's time to move on and the loneliest place and then my grandmother told me this boy the loneliest place you'll ever be is to be a place where you're not wanted. Ain't nothing worse than that.
Starting point is 01:01:50 Nothing. And then the funny thing about it is most of the time when you're not wanted, you ain't even paying attention to the goddamn contact clues that they don't even want you there. For sure. At one time. You blind as hell. Oblivious. Because you done gotten to a routine.
Starting point is 01:02:05 Get up. Hello. Eat. Do whatever you doing. And all the while, they dropping them bread crumbs. And you ain't picking them up. Not one. Not one.
Starting point is 01:02:19 But, uh, Unownee. Bro, you 25. You ain't really lived no life yet. Not nearly. Not nearly. Yeah, you'll get better. You'll get better each day. You'll get stronger.
Starting point is 01:02:35 That which doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. And you'll grow from this. You'll learn. You'll learn from the mistakes that you made in this relationship. There are some things that she did that you tolerated that you're like, you know what? I ain't putting up with that anymore. And so just grow from it, bro. Just stand.
Starting point is 01:02:53 Hey, just pray. And you'll be just fine. Ocho, you know, we almost had 30K in the chat tonight. For real? For real, bro. Where they came from? I don't know, but I wish they'd sign up. Hey, y'all do us a favor.
