Nothing's off limits. We talk tanking. I might get in trouble for this answer, but I think it's, like, definitely happening in the WBA. We talk about our mistakes, too. They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man, we got a call last night, man.
Starting point is 00:00:57 You can't be rolling around the city like this tonight before games. Starting point is 00:01:14 And we have been joined at the hips since high school. Absolutely. A redacted amount of years later, we're still joined at the hip. Just a little bit bigger hips. This is a podcast. We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey. With all the snacks and drinks. Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer?
Starting point is 00:01:32 Oh, they hit a bogo. Well, then you got it. Listen to soccer moms on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. How much you wait, Wanda? Right now, about 1.30. I'm at 183. We should race. No, I want to leave here with my original hips. On the podcast, the matchup with Alia, I pair prominent female athletes with unexpected guests.
Starting point is 00:01:51 On a recent episode, I sat down with undisputed boxing champ, Clarissa Shields, and comedian Wanda Wanda Sykes, to talk about Wanda's new movie, Undercard, the art of trash talk and what it really means to be ladylike. Open your free IHeartRadio app. Search the matchup with Alia and listen now. Brought to you by Novartis, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports Network. This is Julian Edelman, host of games
Starting point is 00:02:11 with names. On our latest episode, we got comedian Blake Anderson from workaholics and the hilarious This is important podcast. Let's go! We did beat them in improv. You had an improv against the team? Yes. We would pull up their schools would be there with signs for us.
Starting point is 00:02:27 It's competition. What you would win is a bottle of gold slover. James Fester threw it out of a van because he didn't want us drinking it. For more games with names, visit the Iheart Radio app or wherever you get your podcast. Steph Curry was one of the three Golden State Warriors who will be on a minute's restriction
Starting point is 00:02:45 in the team playing game against the Clippers in Los Angeles tomorrow. Steve Kerr said that Steph Curry, Christopperzingis, and Al Horford will all play fewer than 40 minutes and it must win game. Well, damn, I hope so. they would play fewer than 40 minutes yeah hold on let me see something today
Starting point is 00:03:03 that's a must win game why he gonna why he gonna dictate how many minutes they're playing already I guess he said uh because I got the clippers won in that game you don't believe you don't believe in them boys over there in the bay on
Starting point is 00:03:19 I said I got the clippers now me and you can continue to bed if you won't talk with you oh no no I ain't got no horse in that race I mean, if you think about it, the Charlotte Hornets and Miami, they went to overtime. And Miles Bridges with overtime played 43 minutes. Lamello Ball played 40 minutes.
Starting point is 00:03:40 They played the most. And then you got Miami, Andrew Wiggins had 42, Kalil Ware had 42, Davy on Mitchell had 48, and Harmon Hawkins had 41. So I hope in a regulation game, if it doesn't go overtime,
Starting point is 00:03:56 they play fewer times. than 40 minutes. Yeah. I mean, Steph don't normally play that many minutes. He don't play, though. Steph has really never played no,
Starting point is 00:04:02 like, major minutes because they were so concerned about his ankles, Joe. Right. Obviously, come postseason time, all bets are off. But I guess they're saying, look,
Starting point is 00:04:10 coming out of the knee injury and dealing with what he's dealing with, when he's getting on up there and they, they say, you know what, we're not going to even chance it. Right. Because Steve Kerr knows the intensity that those guys going to have to play with tomorrow to even win the game.
Starting point is 00:04:24 He didn't know how physical that game going to be. Right. You know what I mean? And with Steph just coming back, you don't want them to reagravate nothing, but at the same time, hell, if you want to continue to keep playing, you're going to need that man on the floor. For sure. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Even just his presence on the court open things up for other players. There you go. There you go. I don't know if you got much choice, Steve. It ain't like you got, you know, prime clay and KD out there so you can really dictate that Steph is only going to play 30 minutes. You ain't got them hostess that can run. like that anymore.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Yeah. Nah, they're going to have to, they're going to have to get some great contribution for some of them other guys, you know, who've been playing pretty, you know, pretty, well. Yeah. Yeah. Paz's going to have to play really well. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:14 But the thing is, you know, they traded comminga. Moses, Moody's hurt. I mean, maybe they got to get some production from, they got another guy, a guy from Brazil that's been shooting the, but come out of the ball. I know. I don't be knowing none of them guy neither. I ain't going to like to. He's going to have, he's going to have to play.
Starting point is 00:05:30 he's going to have to play really well for him. He'll have to play well. LeBron spoke about finally avoiding the playing tournament this year. Let's take a listen to what Braun had to say. We have them playing. Yeah, I mean, it's going to be great. I am happy because being a participant of the fucking playing for some years that I get to sit back on my couch with my wine,
Starting point is 00:05:55 knowing I don't have to play until the weekend. Are you not entertained? And just sit there and just like enjoy. I'll have one iPad with golf on and the other one with the playing. Yeah, I'll just be so excited. You get a week to repair and watch them. It's good games.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Yeah, watch and just like enjoy basketball. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, look, I know he'll appreciate this because y'all remember when they first came over this playing thing, you know, he hated it. Yeah, Brian hated it.
Starting point is 00:06:26 He wasn't with that. Yeah. And so for the past. But he realized that had, without the play at hell, I wouldn't even been in the tournament. So listen. What happened of a dislike turned into a blessing? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Yeah, because the past three, four years, they've been in the play in. And, yeah, I'm sure, look, I'm sure he's happy. He'd get a chance to kind of sit back. But I think he does understand the challenges that's ahead of him, you know, and playing his Rocket team without Luca and AR. You know what I mean? Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:01 I've heard him talk on numerous occasions, obviously talking, talking about it's going back to like 2018 on where he kind of basically got to carry this team. I think he knows and I understand that. So I expect to see aggressive LeBron especially game one. I know
Starting point is 00:07:17 normally he typically kind of feels people out, feels teams out, but he ain't got time to be doing that on because they're at home. They can't squander no games away. And if he had one of them subpar games or where he scored 12, 13, 14, 14 points, they're going to get beat by 30.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Yeah, they're going to be. intro. Plus the thing is, Joe, yeah, and we talked about that the other day, about 2018, but he was 33 then. Yeah. Yeah. It's a big ass different in professional sports from 33 to 40 everyone. Yeah. I think, yeah, it's a big difference, but if it's anybody who could do it, I think we would all agree that LeBron could do it. I think given the fact that I know he's 41, but his body is in great shape, uh, this week of race. I definitely think it's going to help him. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:08:06 Because he's going to have to play big minutes too. He's probably going to be at 40 minutes tonight. Easy. Yeah. He's definitely more than the 34 minutes that he probably average. I think he'll probably average the fewest minutes that he's played in his NBA career. Yeah. So, yeah, he's going to be somewhere north of, I think he has to be north of 37, 38 minutes.
Starting point is 00:08:25 Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. No question. No question. So hopefully they can keep that dang afloat when he's not in the game. but for the most part. Yes. I think the biggest difference between a young great player,
Starting point is 00:08:40 because when you're great, they don't compare you against other great players, they compare you against your younger self. You see what we did, don't you, Joe? We didn't say anything. We said LeBron 2018. We didn't say nothing about any other great player. Well, he needs to be like Jaylen Brown.
Starting point is 00:08:55 He needs to be like Yolich. He need to be like Shay. We compared him to a younger self. Yeah. And that's what the greats get compared. They don't get to compare it to the greats playing now. You compare them to a younger version of themselves. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:10 When you're a younger version of yourself, you know what you can do? When you're younger version of yourself, what you're 20? You give you to them 12 back to back to back. To you, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Now, you hit him a lick on a promise. I'll get you a dick today. I promise I'm gonna get you next though. I'm gonna get you tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:09:27 That's what I got for you. I ain't got what I used to have. Hey, you might not even get that, boy. I got a spade hand, Joe. I got two of the possible. And this might get cut off the real. If you doing everything that you told me, you're going to do, it's cut.
Starting point is 00:09:44 I ain't got to. Right, right, right. It's what it is. And so that's what LeBron, that's what LeBron. Can LeBron's go 30? Yes. Did you see what he did when he was, when he was young? And he gave him 28 straight. He gave me, he scored 28 and 29.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Oh, you saw what he did? What was that? 20, what year was that, 2018, when he had that game against Gold and State, he 51. 51 the first game. Yeah, and he, like, he couldn't do anything. It just gets hard to sustain.
Starting point is 00:10:19 That's the thing. Joe, as you know, when you were in your, you're 25, 27, Joe, bounce back like that. Wabop, yeah. A snapback. Man, you get 35, 37. Oh, dang.
Starting point is 00:10:35 Hey, look, that's when you started talking about shit. I got to start eating right. I got to start, you know, all that come into play. You can't be messing around. Hey, damn. Anybody else, y'all helping? Y'all, anybody else going to do anything? Damn.
Starting point is 00:10:49 They got about here by my damn self. Please. But, hey, like you said, Joe, if anybody can have that type of game, but the mere fact, we're having this conversation, we're asking a 41-year-old to turn back the hands of time. Hey, if we didn't think he could do it, Uncle, we wouldn't be, you know, putting this on his shoulders. I know he's capable, for sure.
Starting point is 00:11:13 But the thing you're going to ask him to do it potentially seven times. Yeah. Yeah. I understand that part, but I think this role that he's in right now, this is the role he's most comfortable in. Okay, Ocho, to where he's the facilitator, you know, can score when whenever he wants to.
Starting point is 00:11:40 But, you know, him finding guys, getting guys wide open shots, making sure guys in the right spot, this is the LeBron that I think that he enjoys being that magic-esque kind of guy, but a guy who can really put up big numbers offensively. And I think he likes being the underdog, too. Ain't nobody really giving them a chance. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:02 No question. You go back and look at the series, they play Toronto. And you look up and look at the series when they play, the hogs or when they play the Celtics got the man ain't doing nothing y'all y'all y'all y'all y'all y'all ain't been to do nothing and here he goes
Starting point is 00:12:16 LeBron also said he wants the Lakers versus Celtics finals finals that would be crazy I had a lot of Celtic series when I was in the east they don't quite like me either damn bray hey for him to be talking about the finals well yeah he got some jugger nights
Starting point is 00:12:32 over here in the West and coverage here no I mean for him to get to the final they need a, they need a, a 28-year-old Kareem or a 27-year-old shack and bring along a rest of his soul who passed on Kobe. Him by himself, they're not coming at these. Hey, man. You hear what he said. The man said what he said.
Starting point is 00:12:57 He wouldn't mind saying the Lakers and Celtics. Me either. It sound like he got something up his sleeve. Yeah. That's all I'm saying. Whatever up the sleeve. I wouldn't mind having my. the hips that God gave me.
Starting point is 00:13:09 But you know what? I ain't got them. And so I take what I got. He gets that Lake of Celtics match if he played NBA 2K. He got, you get it. Yeah. Hey, this is what he need.
Starting point is 00:13:19 He need doubt like this. He need people to doubt him. Yeah, to get him going. This is what bro I need right now. I'm Luke Wilson. Join me each week for Film Never Lies. Since retiring from the NFL, I've had a lot of my mind,
Starting point is 00:13:32 and now got my own show. So if you're tired of lazy takes, If you want honest conversations, join us each week. I watched every game, and I fell in love. On our new podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international. football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup.
Starting point is 00:14:08 For us, soccer, football, is a story we've shared for over 30 years since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team. Very debatable. And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan. I love this game. I love its history, its hope, its heartbreak, and above all, it's beauty. Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important. Listen to the Away End with Daniel Alarcon and John Green on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:14:45 What's up? I'm Miles Turner. And I'm Brianna Stewart. And our podcast, Game Recognized Game has never been done before. Two active players giving you a real look at our lives and what we actually think, on and off the court. Nothing's off limits. We talk trade requests. What's the vibe of that when it's like your star player is like, well, I want to leave? And then actually now I'm going to stay. We talk tanking.
Starting point is 00:15:09 I mean, honestly, like, I might get in trouble for this answer, but I think it's, like, definitely happening in the WBA. And, yeah, we talk about our mistakes, too. They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man, we got a call last night, man, you can't be rolling around the city like this tonight before games, no, you know, doing this, doing whatever. And of course, family stories. And we're like, Mommy, why did you miss that?
Starting point is 00:15:32 Mommy, do you play basketball? Check out game recognition. nice game with Stulian Miles on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Will Ferrell's Big Money Players and IHeart Podcasts presents soccer moms. So I'm Leanne. This is my best friend Janet. Hey.
Starting point is 00:15:51 And we have been joined at the hips since high school. Absolutely. Now a redacted amount of years later, we're still joined at the hip. Just a little bit bigger hips. Wider. This is a podcast. We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey. With all the snacks and.
Starting point is 00:16:07 drink. Sidebar. Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer? They had a bogo. Well, then you got it. Do you want a white collar or something here? Just take it. Oh, what are y'all doing? Microphones? Are you making a rap album? Oh, I would. Come on.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Can you pull? I would buy it. Cuts through the defense like a hot knife through sponge cake. That sounds delicious. Oh, you're lucky. I'm not a drug addict. You're lucky. I'm not an alcoholic. You are. I'm not a killer. I love this team, and I'm really trying to be a figure in their lives that they can rely on. Oh.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Listen to soccer moms on the Iheart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is Julian Edelman, host of games with names. On our latest episode, we got comedian Blake Anderson from Workaholics and The Hilarious This Is Important Podcast. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:16:59 We did beat them in improv. You had an improv against the team? Yes. We would pull up their schools would be there with signs for us. It's competition. What you would win is a bottle of Goldschlaugger. James Fester threw it out of a van because he didn't want us drinking it. For more games with names, visit the Iheart Radio app or wherever you get your podcast. Ah, Pelicans, Executive Joe Dumas says Pelicans have no intentions on trading Zion Williamson.
Starting point is 00:17:26 Let's take a listen to what he had to say. And even when you say no to people, like, no, we're not moving Zion. Within two hours, it's out that, you know, you've had conversations about trading for Zion. And so, listen, we have no intentions of doing that. You know, we're going into the offseason, looking forward to Zion coming back next year and playing great again next year. But, yeah, you know, these phone calls come in and, you know, people ask about a player and you say no.
Starting point is 00:17:58 And then two hours later, it's like, yeah, they had a conversation about playing. And I'm going, you know, that's true. But you left out maybe the most important part, which is we said no, you know. He also later said Zion and Derek Queen need time to jail together like Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum did. You can't let, first off, I don't even know if they got any draft picks. I know the Hawks got they picked this year. The Hawks got the Pelicans picked this year. So if it's a top four top pick, the Hawks got there.
Starting point is 00:18:31 So maybe they don't have no picks. But you can't let Zion leave New Orleans. Oh, Cho, hell. You know ain't no free agents coming. Ain't no free agents coming there, no top ones anyway. So you got to keep that star in place and hopefully, you know, y'all figure it out here sooner or later. You don't think they're moving?
Starting point is 00:18:55 Yeah, I think they will. Anything coming from GMs or owners, you know, you take that with a grain of salt, especially when it comes to business. But they're not going to, what are they going to get that's going to be comfortable to him? I have no idea, Joe. But holding on to somebody,
Starting point is 00:19:11 that, I mean, I have no idea. Joe, you wouldn't know better than me, but I'm just saying when it comes to things like this, especially with players, where obviously star player, he has an injury bug, he hasn't been available, you know, for a lot of his career, issues off the court at times, you know, here and there. I don't know, is it worth it at this point? Still, still great when he's healthy.
Starting point is 00:19:40 he's one of the best by easily but what we expected him to be coming out of college he hasn't lived up to the hype no well i think when when he does play he gives you he gives you great production oh yeah but it's just yeah sometimes you don't know when he's going to play but when he's on the floor you get great production from you know he's strong joe i think i think he can be I think he can be way better than what he's showing, actually. I just think there's another level to, you know, his regimen that he has to add, which is, you know, obviously training harder, eating better, you know. Because if he come in into some real shape, like Ocho, you got to think,
Starting point is 00:20:29 can't nobody guard this man already as it is right now. No. If that man made his mind up that he wanted to be a top five player in his league, top ten, I think he can easily do that. It takes to work, but I think he can easily do that. I think the biggest thing I'm disappointed is that I thought he'd be a better, he should be a double-double guy. There ain't no way he shouldn't be a 20-10 guy.
Starting point is 00:20:51 I agree. No way. No way in hell. He shouldn't be a 20-10 guy. Right. Too athletic. Too much talent. He, Joe, he is a more athletic, Charles Barkley.
Starting point is 00:21:06 If Charles Barkley could be a 20-and-10 guy, if Charles Barkley could lead the league and rebuck, and rebounding to the shortest guy to ever lead the league in the rebounding at 6'4. Ain't no way it helps I.O. Williamson can't get 10 to rebound the game. Oh, no. That's at the minimum.
Starting point is 00:21:20 Yeah. Oh, no, no. I think he can definitely do that. I think the most underrated part of his game to me, Ocho, is his ball handling ability. Did he get to have a ball? Oh, man, the way he handles the ball, like can't nobody his size or taller. They can't stay in front of him.
Starting point is 00:21:35 They can't guard him. That's why I say he's like a cheat code. And if he ever make his mind up that he wanted to be one of the best to ever play this game, bro. It's a bit scary sight. I agree. But you, you said something,
Starting point is 00:21:47 but you heard what he said, Ocho? Yeah. If he makes his mind up. Yeah. Not us wanting him to make his mind up. He has to do it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:56 He wants him for him. He got the one of himself. I'd have been had me a chef. Man. I'd have me a chef. I'm in Norway. This is what I need to eat. I weigh this much.
Starting point is 00:22:10 Hey, make it taste good. But I need you, I need, hey, cooking every meal. I mean, I spend, I mean, as a professional athlete making that kind of money, you should be willing to spend a million and $2 million on your body. Yeah. Yeah. Did y'all have a chef? Did you have a chef?
Starting point is 00:22:29 Did y'all have a chef? When y'all was playing, did y'all have a chef? Show did. Right at Waffle House. Show did. Oh, you had a chef? No, I had somebody. I had, when I was home, when at Atlanta, I had this company that would prepare my food.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Oh, yeah. And then, you know, my lady would cook. I'm simple. I, yo, I don't, like I said, give me chicken breasts, brown rice, some green beans. Man, it's bland, okay? Yeah. See, the difference between, see, this is why I know no one could train like I could. Because I know they're eating, they eating for a pleasure.
Starting point is 00:23:05 I eat for survival. There you go. That's why you can't beat me. You can't. That's a bar. They're eating for pleasure. You're eating for survival. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:15 Yes. I like that. So that's where I was. That's where I was at. That's what my mind said. So they're not, that's why I know they're not, they're not going to do that.
Starting point is 00:23:27 They're not going to eat. They're not going to eat the same thing every, every day for 90 days. Right. That's hard. They not. Yeah. They not.
Starting point is 00:23:39 You're not going to go, you're not going to go, you're not going to go to, three days without eating food. You're not going to go a day and a half without drinking water. I ain't telling what I could do. I'm telling you what I did do. There you go. So that's what I say.
Starting point is 00:23:51 They be talking. You can't. Because I already know you're not going to push yourself like that. You're not going to go to see, I'll go to a place that's uncomfortable. Pull up a chair and get comfortable. Yeah. See, I know what it's like to get into that hurt locker. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:09 They're not getting that hurt locker, oh, Joe. They were talking. They ain't going to get not hurt, Locker. I'll be here for a while. See, a man that's been to hell, he don't care about going back. That's when you know. That's when you know
Starting point is 00:24:33 when you start to question yourself, when you ask yourself, why am I doing this? What am I doing this for? How much longer do I have? Where the hell of I'm going? When is this over? Right.
Starting point is 00:24:48 Ask yourself, So when you train, ask yourself those five questions. If you don't ask yourself those five questions, you ain't training. You working out. There's a difference between the two. I'm training because I want to be able to call on my body and know that it's been there and a go again. See, hey, if you haven't put your body through that,
Starting point is 00:25:10 how do you know what it will do? Right. But you go work out. You go do your little fad. You look good. But see, I'm training because when I call on my body, see, you're calling your body in the first quarter. Boy, I feel good.
Starting point is 00:25:23 Yeah. When you call it in the fourth quarter. You still feel the same way? Got nothing in the time. Mm-hmm. When you running on fumes. Boy, that's the difference.
Starting point is 00:25:38 That's a mindset. That's why I know the guys couldn't train. That's why they couldn't beat me when I played. Because I know they weren't doing what I was doing. It's the same thing now, Ocho, what asked you? Man, that's all you do. That's all you do at work. Man, when are you going to get some time off?
Starting point is 00:25:57 But you want, you want your, man, man, man, man, And I tell people, when they ask, they ask me all the time, Joe and Ocho. Man, pardon, man, you know, you got your thing with nightcap, and you got your thing with club Shay, Shea, Blase, Y, Z. So how do I, I said, okay, tell me what you're trying to do. Well, I kind of want to set up like what you and Ocho got, especially when I'm doing nightcap. But I want to set up like this.
Starting point is 00:26:19 I want a three-cableness system. I said, well, this is my camera. That's your camera. This is the slide that's going back and forth. X, Y, Z. I said, boom, bloom, boom. I said, look, everybody, everything is different. I said, now for nightcap, I have people that only work on nightcap.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Club Shay, she, people. Man, you got, yeah. Yes, but that's what it takes. I said, after I'm done with you, I'm going to go get on nightcap with Ocho and Joe. And then I'm going to come back tomorrow and I'm going to tape somebody else. And then I'm going to go get on the nightcap with your, just got a, hey, just tape the game today. Tape yesterday. Take the day before.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Guess what? I'm going to get my black ass on a plane. I'm going to get to Vegas. going to land. I'm going to go in my garage, do cardio, and guess what? I'm going to get on nightcap with you guys. And then guess what I'm going to do on Thursday? Guess what we're going to do Thursday, don't you? We're going to get on a damn podcast, and we're going to do WWE. Oh, yeah. And we're going to do it again on Friday. And guess what? Yeah. Basically it's work. That's life. That's it. Yeah. It ain't no secret. It ain't no secret.
Starting point is 00:27:23 It's hard day of work to be good at something. It's even harder to be great at it. Everybody wants to go to heaven, but don't nobody want to die. I don't say how one's possible without the other. But we ain't going to do that. We ain't going to get to the Bible. We ain't going to get to the scripture to that guy. I'm Luke Wilson. Join me each week for Film Never Lies.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Since retiring from the NFL, I've had a lot of my mind, and now got my own show. If you're tired of lazy takes, if you want honest conversations, join us each week. Film Never Lies, available on all TSN platforms in the IHeart Radio app. I'm John Green. You may know me as the author of The Fault in Our Stars, and now I guess also as the co-host of The Away End, a brand new world soccer podcast. I'm Daniel Alarcon, a writer and journalist, and John and I have known each other since we were kids. My first World Cup was Mexico 86. I was nine years old. I watched every game, and I fell in love. On our new podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup.
Starting point is 00:28:33 For us, soccer, football, is a story we've shared for over 30 years. since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team. Very debatable. And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan. I love this game. I love its history, it's hope, it's heartbreak, and above all, it's beauty. Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things,
Starting point is 00:28:57 football, soccer, is the most important. Listen to the away end with Daniel Auerkone and John Green on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Will Ferrell's Big Money Players and IHeart Podcast presents soccer moms. So I'm Leanne. This is my best friend Janet. And we have been joined at the hips since high school.
Starting point is 00:29:18 Absolutely. Now a redacted amount of years later, we're still joined at the hip. Just a little bit bigger hips, wider. This is a podcast we're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey. With all the snacks and drinks. Sidebar. Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer? Oh, they had a bogo.
Starting point is 00:29:36 Well, then you got it. Do you want a white collar or something here? What are y'all doing? Microphones? Are you making a rap album? Oh, I would. Come on. I would buy it.
Starting point is 00:29:46 Cuts through the defense like a hot knife through sponge cake. That sounds delicious. Oh, you're lucky. I'm not a drug addict. You're lucky I'm not an alcoholic. You are. I'm not a killer. I love this team, and I'm really trying to be a figure in their lives that they can rely on.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Oh. Listen to soccer moms on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up? I'm Miles Turner. And I'm Brianna Stewart. And our podcast, Game Recognized Game, has never been done before. Two active players giving you a real look at our lives and what we actually think, on and off the board.
Starting point is 00:30:27 Nothing's off limits. We talk trade requests. What's the vibe of that when it's like your star player is like, well, I want to leave? And then actually now I'm going to stay. We talk tanking. I mean, honestly, like, I might get in trouble for this answer, but I think it's, like, definitely happening in the WBA. And yeah, we talk about our mistakes, too. They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man, we got a call last night,
Starting point is 00:30:51 man, you can't be rolling around the city like this tonight before games, no, you know, doing this, doing whatever. And of course, family stories. They'll be like, Mommy, why did you miss that? Mommy, do you play basketball? Check out Game Recognized game with Stuy and Miles on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast. This is Julian Edelman, host of Games with Names.
Starting point is 00:31:16 On our latest episode, we got comedian Blake Anderson from Workaholics and The Hilarious. This is Important Podcast. Let's go. We did beat them in improv. You had an improv against the team? Yes. We would pull up their schools would be there with signs for us. It's competition.
Starting point is 00:31:32 What you would win is a bottle of gold shlogger. James Fester threw it out of a van because he didn't want us drinking it. For more games with names, visit the IHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcast. Nick Wright revealed his 10 best guards of all time. He got Michael Jordan in the number one slide. He got Magic Johnson in the number two slot. And then he got Kobe Bryant, Jerry West, Isaiah Thomas, Oscar Robinson, Dwayne Wade, Shea Gildjus, Chris Paul, Bob Cousy.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Joe, do you believe those are the 10 best guards of all times? and do you like the order? Would you rearrange some things? Oh, this, this, oh, it's in order, huh? Yes, that's the order he has them. This is a, this is a pretty great list, pretty good list, fellas. So one's and two. Yep, you got Pete, you got points and two guards.
Starting point is 00:32:37 Damn, you ain't got no AI? Huh? You got no AI, he ain't got Harding. Ain't no stealth courage. see i but you left step off i'm done i'm done with this list i'm saying who you're taking out you're taking out one of them old school hell i'm taking up damn there but except the top three
Starting point is 00:32:56 step a two-time league MVP a finals MVP a four-time champion and he ain't even a top ten guy even if you just put it even if you just for the sake of argument and that's what we do sometimes we argue we call it debate we call it sparring or whatever you want to call it The mere fact that Steph Curry isn't on this list. Yeah. Yeah. That's a tough.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Come on, that's what we doing. Ain't no James Hart? I mean, they're, there. Ain't no J. Kid? I don't know. Like I said, without Steph Curry, I don't even want to, hey, hey, and everybody, hey, congratulations to everybody that made it. We know Jordan, Magic and Kobe.
Starting point is 00:33:46 I don't really thank you. I mean, hey, step Kerr says, hey, hell, if I ain't a top four, if I had a top three, who the hell is? But the mere fact, this man didn't even make the list. Hey, Nick,
Starting point is 00:34:03 come on now. Come on now. Come on now. Come on now. Hey, look, I'm going to tell you something. No, Shay going to be stamped in here, though.
Starting point is 00:34:15 Yeah. He's going to stamp himself in there for sure. Long as he stay healthy, he's going to be all right. Bro, who changed the game more than one Stefan Wardell Curry. Hadn't been many.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Hadn't been many, fellas. They shoot the three because everybody shooting the three. Kids used to be kids who wanted to dunk and had the tongue hanging out like Michael Jordan. Now a little-ass kid can barely throw the, they take it the ball with one hand trying to shoot a damn three.
Starting point is 00:34:42 Because they're too big, they're too small to shoot it like a normal person. They're just chunking the ball. Yeah, yeah. I wonder what Nick used to come up with his list. Or is it just, is it just what? Is it personal?
Starting point is 00:34:56 Moonshine. Flokka. And he don't know nothing about no moonshine on. Okay. Well, Flaka. Walker? You're talking about Walker? Flaka.
Starting point is 00:35:06 No, flocker. What's there, huh? Google it. Flokker. F-L-A-K-K-A. Flaka. Hey, the man entitled to his own opinion, no opinion.
Starting point is 00:35:19 No, you can't even get no opinion with that step on there. Now, if you want to, if you, look, I would give you that. I would concede that, Joe, if you said, you know what, Steph number eight. I said that's his opinion. But to lead a man off,
Starting point is 00:35:33 the entirely? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I agree with Joe in this one. I agree with Joe. What do you say, Ocho? He said FL double C or double K, um? Double K.
Starting point is 00:35:54 Lock I. The bassox. You know what bad sauce are? Yeah, I heard it by them. I remember that some dude took bad salt here in Miami and ate the man face. You remember that?
Starting point is 00:36:11 Mm-hmm. What? Yeah, you remember that, Joe? Yeah. It was a while ago on South Beach. Yeah. Yeah. Well, that what that flogger had you doing,
Starting point is 00:36:20 until you ask. You say what do you use to get this list, Joe? That's it. Like, yeah. Highly addictive synthetic stimulant. Okay, okay. Oh, no. Damn.
Starting point is 00:36:33 They got so much crazy stuff over here. And I don't get people to benefit of that for their list. That's because that's their opinion. But that's their opinion. for you not to have Steph Curry on one of the top he didn't say one or two he said 10. So in other words
Starting point is 00:36:49 he found 10 guards better than Steph Curry. Let that sink in, chat. 10 guards better than Steph Curry. That's tough. 10. Not three. Not three.
Starting point is 00:37:06 If you want to say, you know what, for Magic, Colby and Jordan, I just couldn't put him on there. Okay, I don't agree. But okay, I will get, I'm just just saying, Ocho and Joe, I give you that. But you found seven other guys
Starting point is 00:37:23 to keep stuff off. That's like, you're like, okay, Ocho, I'm going to name 10 quarterbacks, but Patrick Mahomes ain't in the top 10. And the devil is alive. That's what I'm saying. Man, look, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:37:53 I'm sorry. How do you keep a four-time champion? A two-time league MVP and a finals MVP. And he ain't no arguing. Ain't no debating. He's the greatest shooter we've ever seen. He forgot. He forgot.
Starting point is 00:38:10 Oh, he forgot. Okay. Yeah, he forgot. What about the editor? Whoever, like, A, bro. You need to put free. Are you sure you want to post this? Yeah, bad, please.
Starting point is 00:38:25 And a lot of our takes, me and Nick, we kind of see things a lot the same. But Nick, you're wrong on. You're on your own on this one, Jack. No, sir. Chat, y'all agree with that? Y'all think, y'all think Steph
Starting point is 00:38:40 and not a top 10 guard? No, he should have been on there. He should have been on there for sure. I know Chad ain't going for that. Yeah, I was, who. All right, it's time to play or fade presented by prize picks. The first one is
Starting point is 00:39:10 Paolo Banquetto, 13 and a half rebounds and assists. So you can buy it as rebounds and assists, he'll have more than 13 and a half. Damn. Paulo be tripping sometime, bro. Yeah, yeah, Paulo was on one this year. But he's gonna,
Starting point is 00:39:27 this do or die. I'm gonna get Paulo the benefit of I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say, yeah, he gonna, I'm gonna say he'd be over. Rebounds and assists, I think he'll be over. What you got, Ocho, you say, are you going to be over? Yes, sir. I mean, for the moment for the game, the light day, the light zone, the light on tomorrow. He ain't got no choice.
Starting point is 00:39:54 Tyrese Maxie. More. 1.5, 3 point field goals. More. So you'll have at least two. Yeah, yeah. And B, they ain't playing neither. That boy be out there like AI when Embed it ain't playing.
Starting point is 00:40:07 All right. All right. We're going more. We're going more with Tyree's Maxey. In the Clippers Golden State game, Bitterick, Mathern, at least he'll have more than 11 points. I like Mathern, too, bro.
Starting point is 00:40:22 I like him too. I say he'll have more. I say more. Yeah, because he's coming in gunning now. Yeah. He comes in looking to get his shot. All right. the guy that we just mentioned
Starting point is 00:40:34 that we thought he should be a top 10 guard in NBA history but Stefan Wardell Curry will have at least 26 and a half points more or less than 26 and a half Joe Hey is he still coming off the bench or he's starting now. He backstarted.
Starting point is 00:40:50 Yeah, they better start that man. Shoot, even if you were coming on to bed, Joe, he's getting 26. You think so, Joe? Well, he got to get to it, Joe. They don't have a chance to win the game. Without him getting at least 30, they're not winning, Joe. You got to. Because somebody got a match, somebody got to match Kauai.
Starting point is 00:41:12 They ain't got no answer for Kauai. Yeah, okay. All right, I guess we're going more with Wardell. Yep, we're in unison. $25 to win $125. Download the after day. Use coach Shannon to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Prize picks. It's good to be right. All right, our final segment of the evening It's time for Q and A. All right, before we get to our Super Chats, we've got six video voicemails from our Discord. Let's take a listen to the first one. Oh, what's up?
Starting point is 00:42:00 Oh, Cho, ISO, and still. Ocho. Yeah. You see it, bro. Got them trash heat up out of here. Hey. All right, so what I need you to do is. is I need you to go ahead and make sure Ocho don't score nothing.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Tide to all this capping he'd be doing. And then make sure you beat the brakes off of him, you know, he still got to do the show. So not too bad. And then after that, make sure you put that crowd back on, baby. Let's go. Hello, hello. Hey, I got you. Hey, I got you, partner.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Don't you worry about it. I'm going to hold it down. Yeah. One thing about it. Boy, he asks you to do a whole lot of things. You ain't got the chance to do. Hey, he ain't asking me to do nothing that ain't possible. Huh?
Starting point is 00:42:48 The hell he ain't. It don't even sit right on you, bro. You false claiming too out here. Nah, listen. I wear my crown like Tia. I wear his hats. Don't worry about it. That's not caught to the side, huh?
Starting point is 00:43:03 Talk to the side, huh? Oh, we can't let that man can't be false claiming like that. But don't wear it. But don't wear it. For me and you play, I'm taking that crown. You can't never wear it again, partner. Hey, I already told you. What's going to happen to you, Joe?
Starting point is 00:43:15 Hey, Joe. Joe, Joe, he was saying you a false prophet out here. Hey, Joe. Hey, Uncle, I don't study the, I don't study the film. You don't study any. I don't study them. I know, I know every move. I know what they're gonna do when the ball in his left hand.
Starting point is 00:43:27 I know what they're gonna do when the ball in his right hand. I'm not even tripping. All right, let's take a listen to the second one. Man, what's up, Uncan Ocho? And still, King Isso. My bad. Randy here again, aka Buggy from Oklahoma, man. My bad, I'm here again, man.
Starting point is 00:43:44 But, yo, let anybody from Oklahoma tell it, man. Katie could have went anywhere else. He could have went anywhere else, man. Just not the team get you lose to, man. Like, come on, dog. Like, what? That's just like how Paul Pierce was talking about Ray Allen when they lost to Miami and he go join them,
Starting point is 00:44:07 they go, he go join Miami. Like, not that team, dog. Not that team, dog. Not that team, man. And if you let anybody else tell it, man, from Oklahoma, Katie a cupcake for leaving, bro. And it's not even that he just left, bro. It's just, bro, not them, bro.
Starting point is 00:44:24 Not them. Yeah, I think that's the biggest problem that a lot of people had. I agree. The fact that Katie and the Thunder had them boys down, had them down, well, they had them down, 3-1, 3-1. And they came back in one, and then you went and joined them. That's the most disheartening thing. And I think that you get from the fans and guys like himself talking.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Here's our third one. Let's take a listen to what he had to say. Man, what going on y'all, boy? I ain't going to lie, man. You gotta talk to your partner, Stephen A. Smith, about how he's talking about my heart, man. Like, he's true. He got the whole city hot.
Starting point is 00:45:07 He got the whole city hot. So get what? We're going to put it like this. We need to stand nothing he's talking out. We're going to put it like this. Knicks Twix Twix.
Starting point is 00:45:17 Them boys sweeter than a pixie stick Hots and five You know, that's your team you got the Hawks winning the series Yeah, yeah, I got the House winning the series
Starting point is 00:45:28 I got the House winning the series I think it's I think it's gonna be a great test for him I'm glad that we start on the road in Madison Square that way we can kind of gauge the intensity of this matchup and this series
Starting point is 00:45:45 and how it's going to be played. Because when you get home, when you get back here in Atlanta, we're going to be waiting. And we can't squander no games away here at home. We got to win all these games here in Atlanta. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:45:55 Yes. So if we're going to have a mishap, let it be on the road. Let it be game one or game two. But for the most part, I think the squad ready. We ready. I like that.
Starting point is 00:46:08 I like that belief, Joe. Yeah. Y'all already bet on this game. He got to, got the hog you got the nigs right ocho yeah yeah absolutely we're going we've been game by game huh oh yeah uh here's our fourth one let's take a listen what he had to say what's up um ocho jo this is my second attempt um i'm daring from late charles and currently and work delivering for target but um i watch y'all i watch every episode of nightcap and club shay
Starting point is 00:46:37 i love both shows y'all are my main source of athletic athlete news athletic news because obviously all have backgrounds of sports. I love football and basketball. But I just wanted to ask, how do y'all feel about how things are shaping up in the Lankham-Kiffin era at LSU? And Ocho, Ho-Day Nation, baby, and which are-you-is-on.
Starting point is 00:47:03 Yeah, who-day? Who-A-D-A-W-A-W-A? Ah, look, they gave him a King's ransom. They paid them big-time, they paid in big-time money, guys. they gave him, what, $20 plus million dollar budget, they bring in guys, you know,
Starting point is 00:47:20 they get the number one tackle in the portal from Colorado. The one thing we know about Lane Kiffin, he can coach offense. You can say whatever you want to say about him, he jumps around, blah, blah, blah, you know, I get all that stuff. And there's some validity to a lot of it because think about it, Ward is welcome to USC, Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:47:40 He'd a bit of damn near every school in the SEC. see. But can he coach? 1,000% 1,000% he got old men, let me look, Ole Miss got to the college football players. Ain't nobody saw that coming. Yeah. Ain't nobody saw that coming. Now, they did win games
Starting point is 00:47:58 without him, but he was phenomenal. He's phenomenal. And I think they're going to be phenomenal. Think about what he built Ole Miss into. LSU get way better talent, guys. No way. We didn't finish in here and say, oh, Ole Miss get the same level of talent.
Starting point is 00:48:17 No, they don't. And guess what? When guys jump in the portal, when he sees the way that he called off, if you're an offensive guy, quarterback, wire receiver, running back,
Starting point is 00:48:28 why would you not want to go play for lame keeping if you, you know, you unhappy with where you are? Right. Knowing how he called up plays. Mm-hmm. Man, please.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Hey, that's wire receiver you over there, ain't it? Yeah. I mean, you, look at what he'd look at, uh, for Coop. I mean, what do Coop have? Like 117, 119 catches?
Starting point is 00:48:50 1,700 yards? Yeah. They're going to be nasty, boy. Here's our fifth one. Let's take a listen. Hey, family, it's Dahlia coming live from the bathroom. Now, Unk, don't get mad. I ain't just use it. I know how you
Starting point is 00:49:05 feel about people using the bathroom and your house in the same room and all that stuff. But, Unk, you and Joe have birthdays coming up. And it's right after Juneteenth. So we know that Juneteenth is the celebration of freedom that was granted postpartum, post-post-revolution, post. It was given after everybody else had freedom.
Starting point is 00:49:32 But freedom never should have been taken away. But that's another story. So y'all having a birthday party. Y'all planning, but y'all ain't trying to invite Ocho and the rest of the family. So I'm six. That's what Brother Ocho called me. So I want to know how me and Ocho can come to this party because we like the party. We like food.
Starting point is 00:49:51 We're a good time. So we want to know why you excluding us. Bring me in and I can be your live correspondent. Thank you. Lingo. There it is. Hey, your behavior got to be right. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:50:04 You got to be behaving. You got to be on your best behavior. Hey, in matter of fact, hey, Uncle Joe, I think I should come to the party anyway because Joe, I didn't pay my debt. I paid you before to get. game we even played and boom. And you up on it. No, but I tell you, that's janking, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:50:21 That's janking it. I don't know why you would do why would you do such a thing like that. Just to show you, I pay my debts. Now, you know, me and Uckmore reasonable. You know what I mean? Like, you're like a wild child. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:50:34 Like, we got to keep an eye on you, man. You know what I mean? What's wrong with being a wild child? We got to keep an eye on you. That's why you need me there at the party. Well, what we're going to do, Ocho, is that we're going to give y'all the information, kind of like Juneteenth. Because what happened, the slaves were already free. Right, right, right.
Starting point is 00:50:56 But when they got the real dudes, it was three years later. So when you and since found out about this party, it's going to be much later. Yeah, that's messed up, man. Hey, man, listen, you had first deals, bro. You kind of messed that up. So now you're on like fourth dib. So like by the time we tell you, probably probably been the started already, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:51:21 Yeah, all right, all right. Well, I tell you what. Hey, we'll probably be about two, three parties here. Hey, listen, I tell you what, I tell you what? That's up. Now y'all, y'all have a party and don't invite me. I'm telling you, well, y'all, y'all, y'all, I'm going to put that shysty on now.
Starting point is 00:51:36 You ain't what you want now. Huh? Hey. Hey. Okay. Here's our fifth, here's number five. Let's take a listen. Unk, Ocho, King Iso.
Starting point is 00:51:49 What's up? I wanted to show you all much love from Toronto, Canada. And our reason I wanted to send this video in is a few episodes back. You all were talking about running marathons, that sort of thing. So I'm actually a marathon running myself. This is from the last marathon I did in Philadelphia. And the reason I'm sending this video in is because this year, Chicago Marathon, I'm going to be running that marathon, but I'm doing it to support a charity called Girls in the Game.
Starting point is 00:52:12 to get young children, young girls that is, involved in sports, helps them teach life skills, helps them build their confidence, all that sort of thing. So I wanted to issue a challenge to my man Ocho, because I know he got wheels on him. I know he fast. I know we got a daughter to run track, and a little French frashy going to grow up to be an athlete,
Starting point is 00:52:29 so we've got to support these women, support these children early. So I want to issue a challenge of ISO to come out, run Chicago Marathon with me. But if you can't run it, hey, I'll take a donation. 5,900, that sound good to you? much love to my boys and you have tap in with me. Let's get this running.
Starting point is 00:52:45 Come on now. Yeah, he must be talking to y'all because ain't no running for me. My running day is over. Man, listen. Hey, hey, hold up, though. I got marathon runners who come to my yoga studio
Starting point is 00:52:57 and that's how we talk about is running marathons. I said I was going to run one this year. But as soon as I get right, when he said the marathon was? He's running Chicago, man. He said he's running in Chicago. Yep.
Starting point is 00:53:13 Yeah, he said in Chicago. I don't know what he running in Chicago. They block off them streets. Yeah, he's going to have to catch me out here in the A somewhere. Yeah, you got to catch, hey, Joe, how about you stick to what you call them? You stick to the Peacht Roadway. You do that. Yeah, yeah, something like.
Starting point is 00:53:30 Yeah. Give me like a 5K in, give me like a look. Yeah, that's a piece tree of 10K, 6.2 miles. I can do that. I can do that. And you know what I like, too? I've been seeing a lot of, especially on Instagrams. A lot of people are part of run clubs.
Starting point is 00:53:44 Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Run clubs in their cities. Yeah, I love that. Oh, you see in the hills, ATL, you see them boys, and you see what they be doing out here? The hills and ATL? What you do about, like, for the marathon,
Starting point is 00:53:57 for the, for the, for the, the, uh, the street road race? No, I'm talking about it. It's a group, it's a group out here in Atlanta called the Hills, ATI. I think they'd be doing a running, uh, MP money, if I ain't mistaken. But they, they run the hills. in the park,
Starting point is 00:54:12 doing steps and all that. Oh, yeah, it must be in the P-Bub. We used to do that. Yeah, hey, it'd be packed. Oh, you try to get out there? You try to do something, Joe? Man, I got a couple people who'd be out there. I said I won't go out there and mess with them boys, man.
Starting point is 00:54:24 You know, I got to get this old leg right. Yeah, go ahead and get it right. Let's focus on what's important. As soon as you healthy. This is our sixth and final one, guys. Let's take a listen. That was the last one? Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:41 All right, she un-posed, 5125, excuse me, 5125. Usher and Chris Brown just released a tour date and sites. Big three, are you going to the concert and can your significant other go on stage and get with them and get fed cherries? Hell now. Yeah, she absolutely can go. I don't know what, Ocho can go, but mine is going to do. Oh, you're not listening. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:03 That's her decision. She can go, and when she go, you know what I'm going to be at? Yeah, but, my. Hey, I'm on the way out of the dojo. On the way out of the dough, baby. You said she walked up on that stage. You're going to be here, though. Listen, you shouldn't have to say nothing.
Starting point is 00:55:20 You hear me? You shouldn't even have to say nothing. Hey, but I do want to go, though. I do want to go. They got two shows that Mercedes-Benzhengeo. Yeah, I got to go check that out. Hey, Joe, you want to go? We could double date.
Starting point is 00:55:33 We get, what we're going to do? Rent a suite, get a suite or something. No, whoa, whoa, whoa. See, there you go. There you go, Joe. I'm no. No, no sweet. No, hell no.
Starting point is 00:55:44 I'm on the flow. You on the flow? We're going to keep, we're going to make this a personal thing. Everybody going to bring their date. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, let me talk about it, Joe. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:56:01 I was thinking about it. I was like, man, this is going to be a nice day tomorrow. Great day for traveling. I don't want to go no way. Oh, Joe. Hold on. They come into Miami. What?
Starting point is 00:56:13 You think somebody go, oh, hold on. Why am I going, they got two shows in Vegas. They got two shows in Atlanta. Why the hell would I come way to Miami? They'd hang out with us. You don't want to hang out with us?
Starting point is 00:56:26 They spend money? Huh? The tickets are already going to be high as draft, hoo-ha. Why the hell are I going to spend money? Listen, I know us and Chris. We'll get tickets for free. Don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:56:37 They got, they got me. I know Breezy, too. But I wouldn't even want the tickets for free. So you just want to pay just to be paying because you got. Man, that man running a business, man. That's the problem too many times. Man, look here. Go to a, uh, uh,
Starting point is 00:56:52 uh, get free tickets from Justin Timberlake or Sam Smith or somebody like that. Pay these brothers. That thing, hey, y'all know that thing ain't going to be a zoo too. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:07 It's going to be nice. Hell yeah. Huh? I got to go see that. Okay, old Joe. Yeah, Joe, I go with you since I don't want to hang with us, man. Should I come on down there last? Man, I know Joe ain't going to die.
Starting point is 00:57:23 Oh, no. Hey, Joe. What's up, bro? You can introduce me to all your famous friends, man. You know, we could chill. Yeah, I ain't got no, ain't got no favorite for you, oh, Joe. No, I ain't put, man. Look, no.
Starting point is 00:57:39 I'll pay. I mean, look, I pay for Beyond. say tickets? They were high. We were, uh, three rows, we were three, four rows back. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:56 And, but the way she, they way they had it is that, like, she had the runway, like, she could just, like, walk down through, but we're three rows back. I mean, right, I'm talking about right smack down. And I guarantee you, there was not a person in the rows in front of us that were over the age of 15. They were, they were going crazy, though.
Starting point is 00:58:14 crazy. I'm like, and I know what I play for the tickets. So I know your ticket costs more than my tickets. They say it up for them tickets, boy. Hey, I already, my daddy gave them them tickets. I already know, I'm waiting on that text.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Did the tickets went on sale already? I think they just released a tour date to date. Oh, Joe, I don't know if that tickets on sale yet. Hey, Joe, I know, I know my oldest. I'm waiting on that text message to come through because I know it's coming. He's trying to get him some tickets Any man
Starting point is 00:58:45 My kids? Oh, you know, man My daughters? My oldest daughters? Oh, yeah, I forgot my daughter Go water, man. I might have to take, I might have to take Kayla to that.
Starting point is 00:58:56 No, damn. Oh, yeah, and I know, I know it's coming. I guess I got to start saving, like them old people say, I got to start saving my penis, Joe. You know what old people thought this? Yeah, yeah. I got to start saving my penis.

Starting point is 00:59:53 Yeah, yeah, it is. It's hard to find good help. Hey. It's hard, man. It's all depending on who you hired now. Man. But I'm saying to keep them. It's hard to find good help.
Starting point is 01:00:09 Yeah. Hey. That's true. Yeah. Hey, I'm bro. I hope you got Chris. I hope you got something lined up, bro. What do you know, you know?
Starting point is 01:00:25 It's tough out here. It's tough out here, man. Ooh. Same thing, boy, you get you a night of little job. Boy, you won't hold on to it. Yeah, yeah. That's how we grew up. Boy, you couldn't leave no job.
Starting point is 01:00:38 I think about, you got something lined up. No, well, you better stay there. You better stay on that job. They call it a piece of job. It ain't much, but it says, be hell out of nothing. Deshaunette Allen, what's up guys my question is
Starting point is 01:00:57 do you think long distance relationship last longer than your local relationship? They can. They can, yes. It gets hard to look. At this shit gets hard when you used to being by yourself. Yeah. If you get used to be
Starting point is 01:01:13 about yourself, a lot of things that your partner company do go get on your damn nerves. Yeah, I think it kind of depends because you know absence make the heart grow fonder. Yeah, yeah. It's because it's different like if you got somebody with you every day versus if you only seeing them maybe
Starting point is 01:01:31 once a week, once every two weeks. Yeah, yeah. Hey, when you only see them every two weeks, once every week, boy, it go down. You hear me? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, it go down, yeah. Hey, Joe, you're from the country,
Starting point is 01:01:47 oh, Joe, don't know nothing about this, but you know from the country, you get that old rock, and you beat the dust out of it. Yeah, yeah. You had to put that rug on the field. Hey, that rug up. There you go.
Starting point is 01:01:59 Dusts fly everywhere. That's what you get when you see somebody once every two weeks. Thanks, thanks. But, yeah, I think it all depends. It all depends. Man, I was seeing this girl one time, guys, and I'm talking about it. She's like, okay, I see. And she wouldn't call.
Starting point is 01:02:23 She literally, like you, you said, say, okay, I see you Saturday, she would not call. And she's like, well, I already say, I'm going to see you what we need to talk for. She got you. That one did you? Yeah. Because I had never, I had never been in a situation like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:41 But I'm thinking like, you know, we talk doing it. You know, I ain't say we got to talk every day. But I'm not like, hey, how you doing? What's up? But you're like, no, I don't want to talk. I just see you on Saturday. I just thought that was like, nah, this ain't going to work for me. It ain't work for me, man.
Starting point is 01:02:58 I'm like, well, damn. I had to ask, is that normal? It's like, no, I mean, but, you know, hey. Make you wonder, huh? Yeah. Yeah. But, look, dating is different now. I mean, Joe, I think we all grew up at a time
Starting point is 01:03:14 where we used to go pick the date up. Yeah. You go pick her up, go out to eat, go to the movie, to go where you're going to a concert, bring her back home. Yeah. Now it's Uber. Oh, they get a little black car.
Starting point is 01:03:30 Everybody get a, everybody get a black car this day. Yeah. Everybody get a what? A black car? The black truck, black truck. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He got a little cameraman. Like, where the hell is y'all going?
Starting point is 01:03:44 Everything is a moment. It's a lot different, boy. It is. But, yeah, it can work if that's what you, do you want it to work? There you go. want the long distance relationship to work, it'll work. If you don't, if you don't want to short distance the relationship to work, it won't work either. Hey, with that long-distance boy, you got to have some mean communication skills, though.
Starting point is 01:04:09 Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yes. But anything takes work. You got to work to stay together now. It's too easy to get separated. It's too many things to occupy both of you guys as time.
Starting point is 01:04:24 and mind. So this day, all this notion, oh, I'm gonna make her weight. I'm gonna make him wait. Okay. Yeah. Okay, make somebody wait. Somebody else gonna be blowing the doors.
Starting point is 01:04:40 Guess what? Somebody else won't make him or her weight. Just saying. Zaday Phenom. Phenis got served at Dennis tonight. He was doing everything. waiting tables, busting the tables, cooking the food, seating gas, everything. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:02 Danny was, he was cooking tonight. Man. Hey, show me some. Show me. Daniel Wells, Ocho said his Bengals lost the 05 playoff game because Carson got hurt. But really, that defense was just as bad being as it is now. And he still don't understand. That was still the best Bengals team outside of the 2021 Bengals.
Starting point is 01:05:26 So the defense had nothing to do with it. T.S. Carwise detail service. Oh, my grandpa lived till he was 90. Used to tell me I'm about as useless as a screen door on a submarine. Damn. You don't believe fat be greasy. Don't worry about the mule going blind. Just load the wagon.
Starting point is 01:05:48 Hey, that's a good one. That's a good thing. Hey, that's an idea. Hey, don't worry about the mule going blind. You just load the wagon. If you're running the ditch, don't worry. the ditch. Don't worry about that. The wagon loaded, though. Right. You worried about that.
Starting point is 01:06:00 Hey, hey. Man of old people, that's how they talk though. I was going to say, speaking of a submarine. Hey, Joe, Uncle Joe. Yeah. What do you call a dog in a submarine? What do you call a dog in a submarine? A dog and a submarine.
Starting point is 01:06:28 Well, he won't come if you call him, but. Nope. Joe, what you got? What is a dog in a submarine? Dog and a submarine. is it a, I don't know, what? Joe, a dog in the submarine, it's a sub-wolfor. A sub-wulfur. Heavenly Warfield, how do you feel about developmental players being added to the WNBA?
Starting point is 01:07:08 I think it's a great chance for players to develop without affecting salaries. I like it. Yeah, me too. I think it's, I guess it's similar to the G-League, probably not as advanced, you know, me, you know, but, hey, look, the women's game is in, is in a great space and place. Yeah, I love to see, I love to see these women sign these multi-year deals. Yeah, yeah, get that money.
Starting point is 01:07:38 Yeah, there are girls who I think could potentially play in the WMBA that may not be quite as ready right now, but with the developmental, I agree, process, they'll be all right, for sure. I like that. I like it. Which position do the Cowboys need to fill most if you were the GM? And who would you take with the 12th and 20th pick? Ooh.
Starting point is 01:08:04 The question is, can you get that D.N? What is it? Blaney? No. From Miami? No, no. He's from Texas Tech. What?
Starting point is 01:08:14 Oh, style. The style, he won't be there, huh? No. No, not at 12 or 20. I would package him. I'll try to go get that D-N from Texas Tech. Oh, so you'll package them two picks and move up, huh? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:32 Yeah, we got to get somebody on that defense side, bro. I wouldn't move up, um. You wouldn't? No, I, I, at 12 and 20, but I go defense on both picks, though. But they're going to be some good players from quality players. David Bailey. David Bailey. He did.
Starting point is 01:08:54 Yeah, low. The edge, Ocho. Yeah. He calls a hell over that, uh-huh. Yep, he had 14 and a half sacks, three-fourth fumble, former recovery. Hold on, that was this past year? Yep.
Starting point is 01:09:10 Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, we need some heat coming out of that cone. Uh, he ran a 45, at 251 pounds, Joe. He ran a 4-540 with a 35-inch vertical 10-foot 9 standing brawl jump. Damn. That's a big boy. One, two, one, six, two. 10-yard split.
Starting point is 01:09:34 Man, how don't boy be moving like that, man, be that big? Hey. Boy, it's moving. I ain't mind. Hey, you see that, the guy that went to the HBCU, you see that, that,
Starting point is 01:09:48 he from Cameroon or Nigeria Ocho, 6 foot 4-306, they ran 4-6. Oh, with the big quads? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I saw, I saw. I saw him. I MBA goats in no order
Starting point is 01:10:02 LeBron, Kobe, MJ, Bam out of bail. Brandon Crowe, what's your advice when you have a heartbreak from the past so hard that you don't want to give anyone else a chance no more. It feels tough to find someone to start a family with even though I'm 22.
Starting point is 01:10:23 Ooh. Twenty-old family. It's about to be scary. I thought you, boy, I thought you was about to say you 42 or something, you've been mad. You been bad, you got the boys, you know, bad, Lord. This man talking about 22. Hey, he's going to lie. That first love, that puppy love would be hard, though, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:10:48 Come on. You do. That public, that, old you, I'm telling you now. Hey, hey, hey, to stay away from and leave it along. Yeah, man. Joe, man, you ain't, he ain't even jumped all the front porch yet. He's talking about family. in marriage.
Starting point is 01:11:03 Come on, man. Hey, man, you don't know what that man has done. Yeah, man, I hit up Michael Sterling on him. All I need is one more chance. Don't take off my ass. I'll do what you ask. Live your life a little bit. Enjoy, enjoy yourself, man.
Starting point is 01:11:18 Enjoy yourself a little bit, man. See, the thing is, see, I'm getting an impression. The ultra will have been hurt so much. He's none to it. I have no point of point of point. Hey, Uncle, Joe. What's up?
Starting point is 01:11:33 But I... Hey, no, no, come on. Hey, come on, man. Hey, Joe. What's up? I ain't never been hurt, Joe. I always use common sense and logic. Oh, Joe.
Starting point is 01:11:48 Always use common sense and logic, bro. You can use common sense and logic, and it's... Joe, it ain't never your, Joe. It's just your turn, Joe. I get all that. Oh, Joe. No, you don't get it, Joe. I'm saying when you're a puppy and you
Starting point is 01:12:02 just getting involved, Ocho. I ain't no, man. My granddad ain't letting me do all that, Joe, no. No, Ocho, you're not been to convince me. You ain't never been hurt with no relationship. I haven't. It ain't possible. By who?
Starting point is 01:12:15 It ain't possible. Well, I don't know about who. Because I just know you like a little bit of a kid. I'm waiting to y'all to tell me by who because I walk out the door quick. Yeah. No hesitation. Hey. And don't look back.
Starting point is 01:12:28 Hey, it's even when you walk out the door, The reason why you walked out of the door was why. You don't put invested that time. You invested some money. You invested something. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:43 It hurt. Listen, no, it doesn't hurt my ass. Next. Okay. Next. Hey,
Starting point is 01:12:49 I'm six foot. Wait, 246. I got the Gucci main belly. Can you guys give me dietary plan? Uh, the workout plan. Thanks.
Starting point is 01:12:58 Congrats on two million subs. Yeah. You got a back six foot 246. Bro, you got a back to back. up from the table. I mean, back up from the table, bro.
Starting point is 01:13:07 Back up from the what? The table. No, you got, I mean, look, you got to get out there, you got to work out. I mean, I don't know how old you are,
Starting point is 01:13:16 trail, but man, get out there and work out. You got to back up, bro. I mean, it ain't the workout. Come on down here,
Starting point is 01:13:25 eat with me. Bodies are made in the kitchen. There you go. That's what bodies are made. It ain't made in the weight room. Just got, hey, you got to stay away from them zoosos?
Starting point is 01:13:36 a wind-wam now. You saw that, Joe? I said that little pebble you got over. You heard what Uncle said, huh? Bodies are made in the wait room, Joe. No, I didn't say nobody made the weight room. Underground cake, Chad, did you ever think about leaving Cincinnati in your pride? Oh, yeah, oh, yeah, I tried that.
Starting point is 01:13:55 Yeah, I tried that. Yeah, that ain't worked. They pissed you all? No, they just, the media started saying, I was the reason we was losing. All right, well, shoot, let me get a body here then. Yeah, that ain't work. Um, Mu, MW music, Oh, Cho, what days are y'all doing nightcap at WrestleMania?
Starting point is 01:14:15 I'm trying to holl at y'all, retired Navy. I got my Leportier special edition box. Uh, Thursday, Friday. Thursday, Friday. Who is the most disrespectful player in the NFL? Excuse me. Who's the most disrespectful player in the NFL history? Why? Who do you think, Ocho?
Starting point is 01:14:41 Damn, the most disrespected? Yes. Ooh, that's a great question. Disrespectful, disrespectful, not giving a love that they deserve. I think, look, as right now recently, probably Brother Hertz, Jalen, probably Lamar. In history? No, I'm talking about right now. History-wise, I mean, shoot.
Starting point is 01:15:16 I mean, I'll let you do history. I'm just trying to think those that get a bad rap right now. History. Ooh, we. And it's mostly the quarterbacks, though, too. Yeah, for sure. I mean, because they're judged a little different than everybody else. I think when it's all said done,
Starting point is 01:15:41 I think A.B. going to be the most disrespect to play in history. Antonio Brown? Yep. You know he's up for the hall this year, Coach. Yeah. He's going to get into, though, ain't it? there's going to be some years. I'm saying because of our course and because of all field stuff,
Starting point is 01:16:05 I'm going to say, I know his numbers. Oh, his numbers are superb. His numbers are superb. He was so special. Mm. Beyond special. He had a stretch. He had a four or five year stretch.
Starting point is 01:16:26 Six. That was as good if not, how many? Six. That was as good, if not better than any receiver in the history of the game. I agree. That was a monster. Crazy work. Sam LeGrad, 89.
Starting point is 01:16:41 Isso tried to save Nick from engaging in malpractice. There's no way he forgot stealth for what a guy probably did. For a guy, he probably didn't even see play. No, he didn't see big old play. He damn sure didn't hear to see Bob Coosie play because I'm older than Nick and I didn't see Bob Coosie. And big old play. Hell, I didn't even see big old play when he went to Cincinnati.
Starting point is 01:17:07 And that was after he played all those years in Cincinnati. No. Hell, I don't even know how much you saw about Isaiah played. How old is Nick? He probably caught a little bit of Isaiah. He probably, I know he ain't seen no Bob Cousie. No, and he ain't seen no Oscar Robinson either. Nah, no.
Starting point is 01:17:30 I seen Oscar play at University of Cincinnati. Man, you ain't seen no Oscar Robinson play. Man, I was there. Well, I said front row and watched Oscar play, man. Stop playing, man. He was at UC. Nick's 41. So Nick's 41.
Starting point is 01:17:47 That means he was born at, what, 1980? No, yeah. No, no. He's 41, so he's born in, he's born in 85. Yeah. Azale retired like 92. Azale was like third to fourth pick in 81. He won the championship with Indiana in 81.
Starting point is 01:18:15 He got drafted. He got drafted that junior, whatever they have. the draft. He's born in 85. Isaiah won his first championship in 89 and 99. No, 89, no, 99, no, 99, no, 89, no, 89, because Jordan won 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98. Yeah, he ain't seen him. So he was four with Isaiah with his first championship.
Starting point is 01:18:49 Five when he won his second championship. Nah, man. Yeah, I don't know what he was thinking. He'll probably say, you know, he thought about it and he just, and it happened. You know, completely drew a blank. It happens. LMG, say, out any chance y'all discussed the NFL draft soon. Y'all should do a mock top 10 draft challenge.
Starting point is 01:19:27 Whoever gets the most right gets the crowd, 2 million. We'll look into that. We'll look into that. Eber R to go. I've been trying to show something on the FC, Ocho. What's going on? You've been ducking me?
Starting point is 01:19:48 He's probably half. You've probably been ducking you. What's the FC? I don't know. I guess I'm I guess he's trying to, I guess he's soccer or something to do with soccer probably.
Starting point is 01:20:00 Oh, you won't work, what? I'm easy to find. You're normal. You know, but don't do that. Man, don't play at me. Don't play. You ducking you. Now, he definitely ducking because everybody

Starting point is 01:21:38 and the Philadelphia 76. as the lamello ball had a game winning layup late in the ball game after Kobe White's game time three forces overtime.
