Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an iHeart radio app. Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Jake Hofer and this is Back 40, a limited series show on Wired to Hunt, part of Meat Eaters podcast network. Each episode I'll be asking eight wide tail hunting pros a focused, thought provoking question about hunting and land management.
Starting point is 00:00:45 How do I hunt the best part of the farm with less than ideal access? Should you? That's what the real question is. Stand without good access is not a good stand. Listen to Back 40 on iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Check out Behind the Flow, a podcast documentary series following the launch of San Diego Football Club. San Diego coming to MLS is going to be a game changer because this region has been hungry for a men's
Starting point is 00:01:15 professional soccer team. We need to embrace this community. Listen to San Diego FC Behind the Flow on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Get fired up y'all. Season two of Good Game with Sarah Spain is underway. We just welcomed one of my favorite people and incomparable soccer icon, Megan Rapinoe
Starting point is 00:01:41 to the show and we had a blast. Take a listen. Sue and I were like riding the Lime bikes the other day and we're like, weeeeee. People ride bikes because it's fun. We got more incredible guests like Megan in store plus news of the day and more. So make sure you listen to Good Game with Sarah Spain on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Brought to you by Novartis, founding partner of I Heart Women's Sports Network. Bill's running back James Cook did not practice today.
Starting point is 00:02:10 Cook is seeking a contract extension but was present at mandatory mini camp, reported to training camp and had participated thus far. Kevin Short would ask why he sat out. Business, he said, would ask if he would practice Monday. Business! Why he sat out, business, he said, would ask if he would practice Monday, business. Will James Cook be in full pads for Buffalo Bill's week one against the Ravens?
Starting point is 00:02:32 If being reported, I don't know if it's true. We gotta provide context for everything now, Ocho, is that he will ask for a deal similar to what the Eagles gave Saquon. James, I don't think you're gonna get that, bro. I'm just gonna be honest with you. I think you're a fabulous young running back, but you're not finna get something comparable to Saquon.
Starting point is 00:02:58 I don't think you're gonna get something comparable to Mack, C Mack. I don't think you're gonna get nothing comparable to D Henry. What does Derek Henry make Ash? 16? Ooh, that's tough. They just, we got to think about Ocho,
Starting point is 00:03:16 they just started paying running back the last two years. They just tough. And listen, they started paying the running backs the last two years and they plan the tier one running backs. Right? You know, I see James Cook as, as, as, as, as, to write to you, to write.
Starting point is 00:03:30 He's he right there. You know, he, he was an intricate part of that office last year. He was an intricate part of that office last year and had very, very, very many plays. Very, very many plays. Cubs. He fits very well in that system along with Josh.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Saquon. That's one. Okay. D. Henry. Okay. C. Mack. Let me ask you a question, okay? So we're gonna put Josh Jacobs. You like him next. Jonathan Taylor.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Oh, I forgot about JT. He's in that class though. He's in that. You know who we don't talk about enough to since we're on the topic of running backs? Kyron Williams over there with the Rams. Oh Kyron Williams over there with the Rams. Okay, we've Yeah, yeah. Excuse me, Joe Mason had a nice year.
Starting point is 00:04:31 I whoo. I mean, 20 another 20 million. I just don't see it. Now. I'm not saying look, deserve earn. I don't I don't see them paying that bad-assin' price. Saquon is at 20 million. Christian McCaffrey is at 19 million.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Derrick Henry is at 15 million. Jonathan Taylor is at 14 million. Alvin Camaro is at 12, 250. Josh Jacobs, 12. Josh Jacobs, 12. Aaron Jones, 10. James Connor, nine. David Montgomery, nine point, well, James Connor is 9.5.
Starting point is 00:05:13 David Montgomery, 9.125. And Ramondre Stevenson is at nine million. So you see, 10 is at nine million, 20 is at 20 million. So he gonna have to fit somewhere in there. I don't see him leapfrogging Taylor, Henry McCaffrey. He said he wants something comparable to Saquon. Saquon's at the top of the food chain at 20.6.
Starting point is 00:05:43 And he just came off of 2000. He just came off offensive player of the year and he ran his team to the Super Bowl. That's tough. That's tough. I love cook. Derek Henry just had 1921 yards, led the league in rushing touchdowns.
Starting point is 00:05:57 We know Christian McCaffrey the year before. He was offensive player of the year. We know what he is when he was healthy. Jonathan Taylor, because Saquon and Dee Henry had such unbelievable seasons, we forget he had an unbelievable season also. But because those two guys were battling out for 2000 and Saquon got it and Henry was like 79 yards short, we kind of forgot about him. And we know Josh Jacobs, what he'd, Ocho. Really?
Starting point is 00:06:28 Brother Cook, how old is J.N. Cook? Man, one home team gotta get his money though, man. He gotta get his money. He can't be more than, he can't be more than 25, Ocho. Oh, so listen, if he not more than 25, right? If he's not more than 25, there's no reason why he can't be slaughtered at right about 12, 12 or 13. 12 or 13 is fair. Even if at 25, you still got a lifespan of maybe another seven years,
Starting point is 00:06:55 especially in that offense over there in Buffalo. In that Pacific offense, you can still, I don't think there are that many running backs you can go find right now that can do with James Cook does I don't think people let's not be fooled he'll be 26 on he'll be playing give me 13 he's young it's not that many running back they can do what he does we too are coming out the backfield landing up. Yeah, I agree. But see, oh, Joe. But see, you see how you being realistic? You say somewhere between maybe money, bro, bro, he said he want to do
Starting point is 00:07:34 a comparable to fake one 20. And say, think about it, oh, Joe, say, one signed a free agent deal. Saquon played so good, they tore the deal up and made him the highest pay, even after signing a free agent deal. Derrick Henry played so well last year, even after signing a free agent deal, they tore it up and gave him a new deal. Damn, man.
Starting point is 00:08:03 I want my daughter to get paid too man. That's how I'm team man. That's how I'm team. Damn. But I think the thing is Ocho we got to be realistic. They just started paying running backs the last year and a half. They paying the special ones though. They can
Starting point is 00:08:18 any and everybody they paying the special and James makes true. He does like he ain't a muffin, he ain't no slouch. Now he's an important part of that offense. He makes that offense go. Now we know Josh Allen, we know what Josh Allen is. He's important. Josh Allen is over there with no superstars,
Starting point is 00:08:35 no true number one running backs, but I mean wide receivers, but you do have another weapon in goddamn James Cook. You got Shakir, nice, solid, just got paid an off season if I'm not mistaken. Keon Coleman out, an up and coming young bull. Don't they got the kid from San Diego? Didn't they sign him in Fresno?
Starting point is 00:09:00 San Diego, the Chargers? Yeah, obviously San Diego, the LA Char charges. Yeah, didn't they sign Palmer Josh Palmer is over there. If it's Josh, Josh Palmer, right? I think his first name Josh, if I'm not mistaken. Hey, God damn, but that's a tough one. Listen, honestly, I
Starting point is 00:09:22 wouldn't want I wouldn't want to be owner. I wouldn't want to be him. Yeah, I don't want to be a gym. 26 tough one. Listen, honestly, I wouldn't wanna be an owner. I wouldn't wanna be a GM. I don't wanna be a GM when it comes to- You're about to be 26, it's your birthday, Josh, move on. Yeah, yeah. I wouldn't wanna be a GM when it comes to fringe situations like this, where we can go either way.
Starting point is 00:09:39 I wanna be a GM where it comes to no brainers. Oh, that's easy. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, but no, no, no. You gotta that's easy. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. But no, no, no, you gotta make tough decisions. I don't like the tough decisions like this. Because you can't keep everybody, you gotta decide, okay, do I get off this guy? And then one time you get off somebody,
Starting point is 00:09:56 like you let somebody go and then they go gangbusters, kind of like what Derrick Henry did. They're like, what the hell are you thinking about? You let Derrick Henry go to bro. But also listen. Giants, Giants, what are you thinking about? You let Derek Henry go to bro. But also listen. Giants, Giants, what are you thinking about? You let Saquon go? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:08 Hey Tennessee, what the hell are you thinking? You let AJ Brown go? This is the thing, you have to think about it. The timing and the places where these individuals went was very important, very important. Saquon left a disgruntled, a not so good offense in New York and went to the Philadelphia Eagles with the best offensive line.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Tennessee, I'm not sure what you were thinking or what you were looking at, but Derek, Derek, hear me, Derek, hear me, Derek, hear me, gonna be Derek, hear me, wherever he go. Okay. So, that's tough. Yeah, we wish you to, I.
Starting point is 00:10:46 Cook, get your money, baby. Do what you got to do, baby. Maybe 13, 14, 15, maybe in that range, but that 19, 20. 13, five, 13, 13, five. He only 25. He only 25. Hey, Josh Allen. Josh Allen, man, you need to interfere, intervene.
Starting point is 00:11:05 Intervene, please. Intervene. Listen, you know how much power Josh got? Do you understand? I don't think people understand. Do you know how much power the quarterback has in situations like this? Man, Josh can go up there right now, man.
Starting point is 00:11:17 What's the owner name? I forgot his name. I met him, very cool. Pugula. Pugula, yeah, his daughter's really good at tennis, huh? He's really good at tennis. You know, Mr. Pagula, man, Josh, go out the mat, listen, Mr. Pagula, I don't want any more distractions.
Starting point is 00:11:34 I don't want any more distractions. Brother Cook, Brother Cook is a very important part of our offense. He takes some of the pressure off me, some of the pressure off my shoulders. Let's let's let's find a way to get this. It's not bro. I gave you 330 million. I need to put more pressure on your shoulder. So, get out of my office. Nah. Hell nah. As a matter of fact, I'm finna trade it.
Starting point is 00:12:10 For 330 million what I pay you and 250 million guaranteed, Ocho. Nah bro, I ain't trying to take no pressure off your shoulders. Unfortunately, I'm not gonna be able to do that, Josh. Hey, that's a good one. Hey, that's a good one. Hey, that's a good one. I forgot he paid Josh all that goddamn money.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Oh, shoot. The Browns were off today. Here's how the four quarterbacks have performed through nine training camp practices. Kenny Pickett has not done team drills since last week due to hamstring injury. Shadour Sanders missed one practice team rep with arms soreness but Joe Flacco is 54 of 92, three touchdowns no interceptions. Sanders Shadour 49 of 70, six touchdowns no interceptions.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Dylan Gabriel 62 of 113, four touchdowns, two picks. Kenny Pickett, 23 of 34, three touchdowns, one interception. Yeah. Shadour reported that, man I got some arms for this. That little rotator cup, that little rotator cup. I mean, you throw it a lot, you know. For him to say that and not just eat it
Starting point is 00:13:27 because he is in a stiff competition battle, that tells you that it's bothering him. It's bothering him. Because a lot of times when you're in a stiff competition, because, oh, Joe, look, me, I was a low-rider draft pick. You have this, you're a second round pick. But I have a little Nick, nah, bro, I'm in a competition. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:13:47 You eat, you sit on things, knee sore, you know, ankle sore, shoulder sore, something sore, you know, you just, you know, you got a thigh bruise or something on your, you just eat that. Listen, the body will tell you when it shut down. The body will tell you when it shut down. The body will tell you when it shut down. And listen, the quarterback tracker, that's cool. That's all fine and dandy.
Starting point is 00:14:10 To me, it doesn't mean much. It doesn't mean much to me. I don't care how much you complete. I don't care how many touchdowns you've thrown in practice against a team that sees you every day, against a team, against a defense where everything is scripted. The defensive players, the defensive coaches,
Starting point is 00:14:28 everything is scripted perfectly. So the quarterback makes the right decision on where to go with the ball based on what's the cross from you. I don't want it to look like on me. I want to get a look. I want to get a look against a certain coverage. So I dial up that coverage.
Starting point is 00:14:43 I call up this play against that coverage cause I want to see what this play looks like against cover two, a cover six, a quarters, a cover one, a cover three, seven, cloud, 25, whatever the case may be. Same thing in the defense. I want to see this defense against this formation. So you call this defense and you tell the office
Starting point is 00:15:01 to give you this formation. Yep, that's why I, listen, I take that with a grain of salt. And also another thing, the fact that when it comes to the interceptions or even the completions or the touchdowns, when you're playing against your own team, right? And the defense has seen it over and over and over. They know the raw concepts, they know the formations, they know what's coming.
Starting point is 00:15:20 So what do, what do defenders and DBs tend to do? They tend to cheat a little bit. They tend to, they tend to sit on routes. Listen, I want to see what you look like in the preseason when they don't know what you're running, when the bullets were flying for real. When it's like really go time and you get practiced a hundred times, you get in the game, it's completely different. The speed of the game is five times faster than what it is in practice. And you don't realize it until you get out there on a Sunday.
Starting point is 00:15:46 That's when I wanna see Shadour. That's when I'm gonna see Dylan Gabriel and Kenny Pickett whenever he gets healthy. We already know who gonna be the starter. The starter is gonna be the veteran. The starter is gonna be the veteran who's been around for a very long time. That's neither here nor there.
Starting point is 00:16:02 But coming down to the preseason and how they perform in the preseason is going to tell who's gonna be second string. That's it. You know how you used to heard Ocho? What you just talked about. DB be cheating. And then getting it and getting the game.
Starting point is 00:16:16 And the first thing I say, I guess he didn't tip that rod off on. You jumping everything in practice. You looking like time in practice. You knocking out everything. You tipped that one off. I mean, I guess he ain't tipped that one off. No, you looked at the card, you saw the formation, you saw where the ball was going, and you
Starting point is 00:16:38 knocked it down. You can't play that on Sunday. But come game time, you ain't knock nothing down. You only knock the man down. Somebody else gotta make the tackle. That's different. That's what make me mad. Bro, I never looked at, okay, they got this defense.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Hey, when I was scout team, I'm going out there, hey. Oh, he getting the ball? Hey man, let me get that right there. I'm following the ball. Hey man, let me get that right there. I'm following the ball. They gonna go look where the ball going. They knocked the ball down. Bro, stop. You ain't knocked the ball down all year.
Starting point is 00:17:19 Now all of a sudden you wanna be tied. Yeah man, listen, when them lights on, that's gonna tell you all you need to know going to tell you all you need to know. It'll tell you all you need to know. Cause you're going to get somebody that's fighting for his life, that's as scared, if not more scared than you. I got it.
Starting point is 00:17:36 So yeah, that's what I want to see. But you know, look, okay, you know, sometimes, you know, sometimes making a team come down to injuries. Oh, sure. You know, sometimes, you know, sometimes, uh, making a team come down to injuries. I've seen, I've seen guys be in a commanding position and get Nick and that opportunity goes to somebody else and somebody else gets an opportunity to shine. I hate this for Shador because like you said, but he isn't a quarterback battle. Hopefully you
Starting point is 00:18:05 know with some rest, some ice, stem, he's able to go out there and perform at a high level but you know he's throwing. That's why a lot of times you know they bring extra quarterbacks in because the quarterback arm does get thrown because he's throwing a lot more than what he threw in the offseason. And the last thing you want, you don't want a sore arm, but you don't want a dead arm either. So there's a balance, there's a fine line between making sure I get enough throws in, but I'm not throwing too much,
Starting point is 00:18:38 but I'm not throwing too little either. But Ocho says he doesn't care about Flacco being 54-92 with three touchdowns. Shador 49 of 70, six touchdowns, zero picks. Dylan Gabriel 62 of 113, four touchdowns, two interceptions. Kenny Pickett hadn't played a whole lot. Tweaked that hamstring or he has a strain in his hammy and kind of been sidelined. So, but he's, he has the fewest attempts, but he's 23 or 34, three touchdowns, one interception.
Starting point is 00:19:11 That don't mean nothing. Numbers and stats, that don't mean nothing. What you gonna look like with a lighting stone, baby? Hey, you, hey, they don't mean nothing to us, but when I was getting them tubbed, they meant something to me. Hey, hard joke, man, when I Would I get a bad? Let me catch a touchdown or get a 20 yard 15
Starting point is 00:19:29 yard game against the no one deep game against no more defense. I got enough, huh? I got you, I feel you. Hey bro, just to start with this. These guys is going to be playing on Sunday and me is on when the
Starting point is 00:19:44 Browns first preseason game? It's this week, isn't it? Everybody open everybody this week because the Hall of Fame game. So everybody going to start playing Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Yeah, this is what it's all about. So we're going to And I'm sure he'll get some time because they don't they don't
Starting point is 00:20:02 they play Friday. Actually, they're playing Friday. Okay, and they play in the Actually, they're playing Friday. Okay and they play in the Panthers and here and the thing is oh Joe is that I Don't even know who to start is but we know starters don't really play in the preseason And if they do they get a drive or something like that and then they they go hit it hit the ground running on On Sunday, wait a minute. It's the it's preseason. so it's gonna be the Dylan Gabriel and she Dora Sanders show. Right, but that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:20:31 Cause the starters are not gonna play, so they're gonna get an opportunity. Yeah, absolutely. Oh yeah, oh yeah. I'm gonna be tuned in too. I'm gonna be tuned in cause I know, I know hell, should Dylan Gabriel too, cause he's played and he's played under the lights and he showed out
Starting point is 00:20:47 Yours played under the lights and he showed out In ball game an affair, baby The whole it's a whole different ballgame. You got to be able to process that information very fast All I know I don't know how they do, but I looked at everybody was trying to take food off my table. Everybody was trying to steal my car. Everybody was trying to put granny back in that one house.
Starting point is 00:21:16 I don't know what their focus is and how they make sure they get themselves ready to go do what they need to do. But that's what I thought. Everybody has something that gets them into the place where they can do what they need to do, Ocho. Whatever that may be. I got kids, I got a wife, kids need to go to private school. Like, hey, whatever. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:46 Something, whatever, whatever, whatever gets you there. Whatever it is, do that. The Nate said, I really never tried to prove anybody. I just tried to prove me right. Cause if I proved me right, you'll be wrong. You will. And then everybody was like, I knew, oh, I knew it. Cause I saw him, no you didn't.
Starting point is 00:22:07 I heard what you said. That's not what you said. I know what you said now. Man, man, I knew, I knew he was going to go to the hall of fame. What, really? I didn't even know that. I was hoping I could just,
Starting point is 00:22:20 I was hoping I could just begin a season in, the way it started off for me. You know how the people just be talking. They do. Lie, Ocho, people lie to your face. I told such and such, no you didn't. Man, I knew, man, I saw Ocho in high school. Man, I knew Ocho was going to the NFL.
Starting point is 00:22:42 Really? You knew that, huh? As that man bounced around the country, trying to find a school to take him, you knew he was gonna go to the NFL. Okay. In high school, I wasn't, I was okay. There's a way, hey, boy, high school down here?
Starting point is 00:22:58 Back in the 90s? Boy, hey, huh, Miami Northwestern back then in 96. Carol City, North, St. Thomas, St. Thomas has always been good. You know what, I didn't know much about St. Thomas back, I only knew about the inner city schools, Norlin, Jackson, man. So I like, yeah, but I'm like you.
Starting point is 00:23:33 Hopefully, like I said, Shidur is able to go and get an opportunity to say, see what he can do. I'm ready. I remember my first time in high school you know when I was that quarterback blue 80. Blue 80 alert alert alert alert alert. Boy wasn't nobody saying no alert back then you just ran to play. But you know I was a quarterback at Beach High, man.
Starting point is 00:24:05 I was a quarterback at Miami Beach. I was trying to follow in Samari footstep. Hey, you know, I was on the same team with Samari, Dwayne Starks, Terry Covey. Yeah, I played with him. I was the baby. I was the first. I think Samari ended up going to Baltimore too,
Starting point is 00:24:20 because Samari, I played against Samari when he was in Tennessee. Yeah, Samari covered me in Tennessee and Baltimore. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. against Samari when he was in Tennessee. Yeah, Samari covered me in Tennessee and Baltimore. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's funny, we was all on the same team. I was the... And y'all didn't win nothing. Nah, it was just us, man.
Starting point is 00:24:34 It was just us. It was just us. That's more than enough. D. Starks was the quarterback, Samari was the receiver. Then D. Starks left, went to UM. Then Samari was his senior year, He was a quarterback. I was a receiver There was Samari left. I wanted then I went to the quarterback. I Should oh Joe we have breaking we are breaking news Adam Shepter is reporting David White has been selected at the NFL PA
Starting point is 00:24:59 executive director The statement read out of the J Rees-Mabin, on behalf of the NFLPA Board of Players representatives, I'm proud to share what David White has been elected to serve as our interim executive director. This decision is a result of comprehensive, player-led process. We understand the urgency to fill the role,
Starting point is 00:25:23 and we did our due diligence to identify the right person to lead our union in this moment. We have full faith in David to take the union forward and operate in the best interest of our membership. David has spent much of his career fighting for collectively bargained rights and labor movement and is committed to putting players first in all union does. We are confident that he will inspire solidarity and provide the necessary stability during this period of transition. Soon we will commence a thorough search process for a permanent executive director. This process will continue to be player led as the strength of our union has and will always lie with our membership. Hey, listen, congratulations. Congratulations, brother David White.
Starting point is 00:26:14 You're in a great position, obviously to represent us. You got a tall task ahead of you, baby. You got a tall task ahead of you. I wish you nothing but success and getting things done the right way. And that's pretty much it. If you guys are looking for an executive director, I am here.
Starting point is 00:26:36 I can submit my resume. It speaks for itself on and off the field. So I look forward to hearing from you, everyone over at the NFLPA. You know, there's two sides of me. There's a Johnson, there's an Ocho, you know, business. Well, we got something we want you to expand on, here it is.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Ocho, this Gilly Cam beef is expanding. First Cam, again, responded to Gilly, and then let's listen to Cam. Damn, Cam responded again, huh? They still going at it. Get fired up, y'all.
Starting point is 00:29:34 Season two of Good Game with Sarah Spain is underway. We just welcomed one of my favorite people and an incomparable soccer icon, Megan Rapinoe, to the show, and we had a blast. We talked about her recent 40th birthday celebrations, co-hosting a podcast with her fiance, Sue Bird, watching former teammates retire and more. Never a dull moment with Pino.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Take a listen. What do you miss the most about being a pro athlete? The final, the final, and the locker room. I really, really, like you just, you can't replicate, you can't get back. Showing up to the locker room every morning just to talk. We've got more incredible guests
Starting point is 00:30:13 like the legendary Candice Parker and college superstar, AZ Fudd. I mean, seriously, y'all, the guest list is absolutely stacked for season two. And you know, we're always gonna keep you up to speed on all the news and happenings around the women's sports world as well. So make sure you listen to Good Game with Sarah Spain on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports. I told him to chill, right? I told him to chill. They're not gonna listen to me, but you know what? I like it, you hear me? You hear me, I like it. Gilly, I know you're gonna see this. Boy, I love you, you hear me? Cam, I know you're gonna see this.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Boy, I love you, you hear me? Y'all keep having at it. Keep having fun. Keep jigging. You know, it's a good thing. Sometimes- Can we advance the ball? know, it's a good thing. Sometimes. Can we advance the ball? Okay, everybody's made their point. The points haven't been made, but they have to, you have to keep going. When somebody
Starting point is 00:31:35 talk about you, you talk about them and you keep going back and forth until you be like, you know what, okay, you done? Are you finished? Is you cool? Until until somebody stopped until somebody waited white flag. It's okay. You know why it's okay. It's entertainment. Why you know what it does for both of their platforms. It continues to bring eyes, views, regardless of what other people may feel. It's entertainment at the end of the day. All this because all this because cam said he doesn't that's what I'm saying. All That's fine. I like the jigging back and forth. It's okay. Listen, you're a prime example of Jones and back in the day. This is just another type of Jones and another type of
Starting point is 00:32:31 jabbing going back and forth. And it's fun. And you know why I like it? You know, I really like it because it's going to always stay on the mic. It's not going anywhere past. It's always there. No different than rap Beef. No different than 50 and Rick Ross. No different than Kendrick and Drake. I'm not saying it's that big to that magnitude, but just still, it's going to stay on the mic. That's what makes it fun is entertainment. You know, so Cam, I love you.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Gilly, y'all boys, man. You know? When did Cam win with this today? Because I thought it was over. I think that's from a few days ago. From a few days ago, yeah. Okay. You know? When did Cam win with this today? Cause I thought it was over. A few days ago. From a few days ago, yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Cause I think Cam had said something about, about his rap career, you know, he didn't have no hits or something like that. And then Gilly responded. Yeah. So. I like it. I like it, man.
Starting point is 00:33:22 You know, let's have some fun. You know, it's all fun, it's all entertainment. You talk about me, I'm gonna talk about you. You go low, I'm gonna go lower. I like it, and I'm loving it and I'm encouraging it, Unc, simply because it's staying on the mic, that's it. It ain't on the web half that. And I like it, it's fun.
Starting point is 00:33:44 And how creative can you get? That's it. It ain't going nowhere past that. And I like it. It's fun. And how creative can you get? Well, okay. Gilly did not play football. Okay. Gilly did not have maybe the rap career that he wanted. He's been able to transition very well. Cam, what do you
Starting point is 00:34:06 say about Cam? The guy was a five-star. He went to the University of Florida like I ain't gonna get no playing time behind Tim Tebow. Goes to Blinn Junior College, wins the National Championship. He comes back and go back and look at Cam. That one year he played at Auburn. He wins the national championship, they're 15 and old, he wins the Heisman. His career, college career, boom. Chef's kiss. Yeah. NFL career, rookie of the year, he's an MVP,
Starting point is 00:34:36 leads the team to a Super Bowl. But me for me, Cam is not a one play guy. Everybody wants to reduce Kam to that one play in which he didn't jump on the football. Kam is more than that. You don't play a decade in this league and only be that. He's not that.
Starting point is 00:34:59 Okay, if you say that's his worst moment, his best moment is winning the MVP. Okay, so somewhere in the middle is what he is. We're treated like gymnastics. We're gonna take out the high score, we're gonna take out low score, we're gonna combine the middle, we're gonna move on. Matter of fact, I heard Cam say something. What Cam say? Cam told Gilly, you will never be able to beat me at nothing.
Starting point is 00:35:24 And he named different sports that Gilly wouldn't be able to beat him in. But I think there might be one that I'd pay. Basketball. I'd pay good money to see basketball. Can't go try to man. Listen, I don't care. I don't care. I'm gonna play basketball. Can't buy me. I got two months about what Gilly can hoop. What Camp can play basketball. Camp might be done got two muscle-bounds. Hey, Gilly can hoop, boy. Gilly can hoop. I know Camp can hoop, too.
Starting point is 00:35:48 I would pay whatever to have a fourth and one in a million dollars worth of game one-on-one. Now, I'm talking, hey, fellas, listen to me. I know y'all having your verbal sparring match right now. Listen to what I just said. One on one. Fourth and one versus a million dollars worth of game one
Starting point is 00:36:12 on one. I'm giving you ideas because we need to keep making doing one thing. Stay with me now, I'm telling you, man, am getting to me. Keep having fun. But keep the main thing the main thing.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Yeah, man. Yeah. Yeah. Ocho. And then Gilly kind of responded. Yeah, birthday party. Damn. I responded. Yeah get a trophy. Hey, that's a Super Bowl trophy. Uh Big Don brought it down to 24th birthday party. Hey, that's that's dope. They love, they
Starting point is 00:37:23 love Gilly. They do. They do. They love Gilly. Man, Gilly be in the locker room, Gilly be coming out there, hey. Gilly be having them hype. I think I'm gonna do that with the Bengals, man. I'm gonna do that. First of all, you know Gilly born and raised in Philly. He's been a Philly fan his whole life. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:42 You a Dolphins fan. You didn't do that for the Dolphins. I could be like, I could be. You grew up with a Dolphins fan. You didn't do that for the Dolphins. I could I could be like I could you grew up with the Dolphins. So, I could be like um I got too many jobs. You will get a Dolphin suit. I got too many jobs. I don't have time. I ain't got time. Good. Hey,
Starting point is 00:37:59 but hey, hey, hey, I like that. I like I love the verbal back and forth between them but. Well, you gonna love this. Johnny Manziel verbal back and forth between them, but. Well, you're gonna love this. Johnny Manziel saw that and tweeted, Yo, Gilly the Kid, you may be the biggest effing loser on the planet. Talking like you've been, like you effing doing,
Starting point is 00:38:16 done anything on a football field. If I see you, just know I'm going to slap the F out of you. Trust. What, when did all this happen? I'm going to slap the **** out Damn! All them jobs you got. What, how did Johnny got into it? How Johnny and Gilly, where they going? Cam, Johnny's a Heisman Trophy winner.
Starting point is 00:38:52 Cam's a Heisman Trophy winner. Okay, okay, okay, okay. So, you know, same thing, Cam like, bro, you talking like you was out there catching touchdown passes and running the football. I get it, I get it. Johnny's like, bro, hold on, you ain't do nothing to contribute to that.
Starting point is 00:39:09 So it did have, bad as it gonna be a double in the bow. This is gonna be the hundred year war. Ella, and I think, hello. Gilly. Wait, he responded. Didn't like that. Gilly didn't like what Johnny had to say, and this is what he posted. Wait.
Starting point is 00:39:42 Wait You mean doughnuts don't Who's that not a doughnut okay Hey, I thought I thought I thought of eating donuts. I thought it was powdered donuts and he we were eating but okay I see I'm I'm I'm old man. I'm oh I ain't know. So obviously taking a shot at Johnny because I guess he has some type of whatever. The bad thing you want to slap the thing, he gonna slap the man on the side. I don't think he, I don't think, I don't think he meant that. But Gilly responded, Gilly says, look,
Starting point is 00:40:49 Gilly said some other stuff, responded to what Johnny said, but we ain't going there. Y'all want to find out what Gilly response was, outside of that, y'all have at it. But this is as far as we going with it. So Johnny, Johnny and, hey, boom, here it is far as we go with it. So Johnny Johnny and uh hey boom here it is here we go again we got a money making opportunity again Gilly in the ring Gilly you know you know how to you got that Philly shell on you that Philly shell huh you know think about what Philly shell you
Starting point is 00:41:20 talking about what you mean Gilly Gilly Gilly could box too now? I know Gilly can box. Gilly and Johnny settle their differences in the ring. Head gear, 16 ounce gloves, four rounds, three minute rounds. You know, oh, you're gonna slap me when you see me? Now's your opportunity. Boom. Get the sponsors behind it. Keep the main thing the main thing
Starting point is 00:41:48 Come on man, come on man Gilly Cam and we know this. Oh keep it going You make you've made your point. We got a lot of other stuff to talk about We got football season right around the corner. We got training camp. We got a lot of other stuff to talk about. We got football season right around the corner. We got training camp. We got a lot of stuff we can talk about. You made your point. Everybody made their point.
Starting point is 00:42:09 We get it. I get it. Yeah. Forget what I'm talking about, baby. Let's make this money. You hear me? I be Don King. You ain't got no hair.
Starting point is 00:42:21 It's coming though. Wave check. And this man over there talking about man, what those powdered donuts he eating powder. I thought he was eating powdered donuts. I'm like, what's he doing sitting there eating them goddamn powdered donuts, man, with the stuff all over his face.
Starting point is 00:42:35 So now I get it now. I get it now. I knew you would get it then. My bad, my bad. Man, he don't, you know. Lord have mercy. You don't know nothing about that stuff, man. You don't know nothing about that stuff, man. I don't know nothing about that stuff, man.
Starting point is 00:42:52 So we moving on, Ocho. What you going? Gile and Cam ain't gonna be doing this no more. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. What you mean, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah? Like some Cardi B, remember Cardi B, right? When we beef, we beef forever. I think she's the one that had that quote.
Starting point is 00:43:13 And them two is gonna go on forever. You don't have to. You don't have to, but I think it should. Cause it could be beneficial for both sides. I like it. I think both could be beneficial for both sides. I like it. I think both guys can make content. Million dollar worth of gabbing at this gilly wild. Wild.
Starting point is 00:43:34 What is he crazy? You heard what you just said, they can make content, right? But when you do this type of content, you know, with the- People get tired of hearing you bicker back and forth. The verbal jabbing, you look at the numbers of the verbal jabbing content the verbal jabbing content and your regular content
Starting point is 00:43:50 guess which one is going to have the most views and the most notes Yeah, it will but after but even, guess what I mean people like looking at like looking at the window when it's raining but after a while they get tired of doing that
Starting point is 00:44:05 and want to find some good stuff. It ain't been long enough, it's only been a week. It's only been a week, they've been going at it for a week. They good, that's plenty, that's plenty. That's more than enough time. I think everybody's made some great points, it's funny, it's entertaining, but I think now it's time for us to move on.
Starting point is 00:44:21 I love them boys, man. Y'all keep having fun. Yeah, of course. Y'all keep having fun. Yeah, of course. Yeah, I'm looking forward to doing it with the game. You going on now? Yeah, that's gonna be live. That's gonna be live. That's gonna be live.
Starting point is 00:44:39 Cause I sat down with both of those guys individually. You know, because I think because both of them have very interesting stories and I didn't want it to, I didn't want it to like, I wanted Gillie to have his time. I wanted Wallo to have his time because I think they have very interesting stories outside of one another. Now we can intertwine and we can talk about
Starting point is 00:45:01 how do you guys come together and come up with me and all of the game and yada, yada, yada. But I want to hear each of you individual stories. And then, you know, we can all tie it together in a nice, in a nice boat. But, oh yeah, yeah, we, we, that's definitely, that's a must, that's a must. Oh Joe, we got to talk about the USA Track and Field
Starting point is 00:45:19 Championship. Oh, you seen, you seen Kenny and Noah. Noah, Lous, Edge, Kenny, but N McNerrick and a spicy 200 meter fighter that concluded with Ben Narek shoving louse in the back after the race conclusion tension between the pair carried over to the post race interview We can't show you that interview, but we can show what care uh McNerrick later said courtesy of Riley reporter Serenity Douglas Let's take a listen to what he had to say, Kenny McNary that is. It's the biggest party of the summer. WWE SummerSlam is here and wrestling with Freddie is all over it. We're talking wild matches, big surprises and our boldest predictions yet.
Starting point is 00:46:01 From celebrity showdowns to the chaos inside a steel cage, we're breaking down every match and calling who we think walks out on top. This card is loaded. From Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Rhea Ripley, and Tiffy, just to name a few, this lineup is ready to tear down the house. We'll give you our unfiltered takes, honest debates,
Starting point is 00:46:20 and you already know a ton of laughs along the way. We're covering the upsets, the wild returns, and the championship moments nobody expects. We'll get into the matches that steal the show, the storylines that explode, and those, oh my God, did that just happen moments that make SummerSlam legendary. Don't miss it.
Starting point is 00:46:36 Listen to Wrestling with Freddie as part of the My Kultura podcast network. Find us on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Jake Hofer, and this is Back 40, a limited series show on Wired to Hunt, part of Meat Eaters podcast network. Each episode I'll be asking eight wide tail hunting pros
Starting point is 00:46:53 a focused, thought provoking question about hunting and land management. How do I hunt the best part of the farm with less than ideal access? Should you, that's what the real question is. Stand without good access is not a good stand. Listen to Back 40 on iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:47:15 Check out Behind the Flow, a podcast documentary series following the launch of San Diego Football Club. We go behind the scenes and explore the stories of those involved. San Diego coming to MLS is gonna be a game changer because this region has been hungry for a men's professional soccer team. We need veteran players and we need young players.
Starting point is 00:47:36 Like you're building a team from scratch and so the succession plan of long-term success needs to be defined. We need to embrace this community. When I was 13, my uncle took me to a qualifier and we watched Paraguay against Chile pouring rain. Just watching the fans jumping up and down. I think that was definitely a watershed moment for me.
Starting point is 00:47:58 Not only was that going to be my game, but it was going to be my life. Listen to San Diego FC Behind the Flow. Now on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Get fired up, y'all. Season two of Good Game with Sarah Spain is underway. We just welcomed one of my favorite people and an incomparable soccer icon, Megan Rapinoe,
Starting point is 00:48:24 to the show and we had a blast. We talked about her recent 40th birthday celebrations, co-hosting a podcast with her fiance Sue Bird, watching former teammates retire and more. Never a dull moment with Pino. Take a listen. What do you miss the most about being a pro athlete? The final. The final. And the locker room. I really, really like you just you can't replicate, you can't get back. Showing final and the locker room. I really, really like you just, you can't replicate. You can't get back. Showing up to the locker room every morning just to talk.
Starting point is 00:48:52 We've got more incredible guests like the legendary Candice Parker and college superstar AZ Fudd. I mean, seriously y'all, the guest list is absolutely stacked for season two. And you know, we're always gonna keep you up to speed on all the news and happenings around the women's sports world as well.
Starting point is 00:49:07 So make sure you listen to Good Game with Sarah Spain on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports. Okay. I like it. A little healthy competition. No disrespect. He stared you down. It's sport. Emotions.
Starting point is 00:50:03 I'm happy. Last time he raced, you beat me. Okay. He was fresh. So it's used for losing is well, I wasn't fresh. That's not excuse. That's true. You run rounds. There's a reason why it's hard. Everybody we've seen guys, you've seen guys, Ocho, like you got to run rounds. There's difference between running rounds and running one race That's why you got a that's why I respect so much the world record that you say both said because he said it doing rounds Just imagine the time that he could have run if he just won one race
Starting point is 00:50:42 He got fresh legs not not rounds, fresh legs. Now look, I'm a firm believer. You don't like somebody doing something if I'm in a sporting event. I don't like the guy, hey, taking his time running around the base. Well, I ain't gonna throw you no ball that you can hit over the fence.
Starting point is 00:50:58 If you don't like me dancing, I tell people all the time, man, Tio doing too much. Keep his ass out the end zone, he won't dance. You don't want him to dance, keep him out the end zone. You don't want no allows to stare you down and do all those antics. Don't let him cross the finish line before you. That's what the Tobogo did.
Starting point is 00:51:17 And then Limpics, he ain't wanna see all this. So he beat him. Hey, I mean, listen, I like. I ain't got no problem like it's good. We don't have this. Track is always all goddamn kumbaya, oh, respect me. No, no, no, no, no, it's not. No, they don't get along like that.
Starting point is 00:51:36 Listen, I know they don't, but this is okay. Showing emotion, I won, I stared you down. Okay, boom, you lost. Kenny put his hands on Noah? You know because of the state You know, they did exchange some Bro, you all in my lane now we have now we have a nice rivalry I'm not sure when the next time they get to meet up but guess where everybody's gonna be tuned in At the World Championship, yes, we're gonna be tuned in
Starting point is 00:52:01 The World Championships waiting on them to race. And they all gonna have to go through the rounds. So it won't be any. Yes. I'm excited now. This is good. This is good for the sport. Yeah, cause.
Starting point is 00:52:14 This is good for the sport. Yeah, cause you know what, Ocho? Cause I think, I think, it Noah, yeah. Noah is the 100 meter champ at the world. So he's all automatic. He got automatic qualifier So that's why he pulled out and says, okay, I'm just gonna do that's why okay. Okay. Okay I'm excited. Listen kitty Kenny ran a good race a very very good race nor ran Yeah, every right 970 right he
Starting point is 00:52:41 PR he personal best in and 100, at 979, which is also, which happens to be the fastest in the world leading time this year. He comes back, follows it up, runs the rounds, and runs 1967, which is probably one of his what? Second fastest time he's ever run, after running rounds. So he can't, like you said, feel that he's fresh, he can't be too mad.
Starting point is 00:53:08 Yeah, he gonna be all right. He gonna be all right. Both of them gonna be all right. I know one thing, they've made watching the sport of track that much more exciting because we have something to look forward to. We have something to look forward to. A lot of people is frowned upon in the track world
Starting point is 00:53:24 and in that track community, but now you got people who don't even watch track now. Okay, you know what? Oh, Noah and Kenny, they got into it. Well, what happened? Okay, I watched it. Oh, I saw what Kenny said. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:35 I heard what Noah said. I saw you push Kenny. You know what? Fuck all that. I want to tune out. I want to see what happens when they race next. This is bringing eyes and viewers to a sport that many watch that are part of the track world. Now we're going to have eyes and viewers of people that don't even watch track because
Starting point is 00:53:50 they want to see what's gonna happen when Kenny and goddamn no allows race. Well, it's hard to get involved because your premier event just imagine if you only had to sue both once every four years. That's difficult. Understandable. You only had the World Series once every four years you had the NBA championship once every four years. Yeah, that's difficult. That's difficult. Understandable. You only had the World Series once every four years. You had the NBA championship once every four years. The biggest event is once every four years.
Starting point is 00:54:10 And they race a lot of times, it's delayed. Or you gotta get up in the wheelhouse in the morning. Based on where they are. Right. I think probably you at LA will probably be highest cause guess what? It's specific time. It ain't the six hours, the nine hours,
Starting point is 00:54:32 the 10 to 11 hour difference in time. So now, hey, you can watch it at a decent time. You can, you know, a lot of these things. But think about it. Ocho, the 100 meter dash is the signature event. That thing happened so early, that was yesterday. Let that sink in. That just goes to show you how the luster
Starting point is 00:54:57 of the 100 meter dash, the man's 100 meter dash, that used to close the shut down. You think they let Usain Bolt run on the day that they gonna close the Olympics down, the trials? Come on, man, that's Usain. Look, like I said, Kenny, if you don't want the man to showboat, you gotta cross the line before he does. Because if he crosses the line before you,
Starting point is 00:55:24 he did the same thing to Arian Knighton when he called him off the turn and he pulled up and flipped him. That's, hey, you ain't want T.O. doing all y'all dances and signing footballs? Keep my dance on. Don't be telling my man he ain't gotta, that's your job.
Starting point is 00:55:45 His job's to dance, your job is keeping him dancing. I don't have a problem, like I said, I think the bigger problem was is that when they come up the thing is that he got like in his lane. Cause I ain't got no choice. Cause if he's in his lane, how can I, if I'm in my lane, Ocho, and you in your lane, how can I push you in your back?
Starting point is 00:56:06 Once you start to hit that curve, after you pass the finish line, people run straight. They don't run in the lane around the curve. What don't run in my lane? Look at you, you catch his elbow, direct to the small of the bag. Then you'd have had him too, I'd have touched him. Hey, hey, it ain't what it is.
Starting point is 00:56:28 It ain't what it is. Nah, but look, Usain had some, you know, Usain did his lightning bolts and you know, he's. Yeah, he had his, he had his. You know, he, and you know, look, Noah's trying to get the crowd involved. He's trying to, you know,
Starting point is 00:56:45 hey, he's trying to bring excitement. Today was really good. There was some, there was some great, the kid from Texas, the kid is 16. He ran 142.27 in 800 meters, which is, if I'm not mistaken, like the fifth fastest time. I think, yes, it might be the fifth fastest time for an American. That's crazy. We see Melissa Jefferson go 1065, which is one of the fastest times ever tracked for a woman, and then she backs it up with 2184. We see Sid, Sid's like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:57:21 I've been so dominant, I will let somebody else win. Cause y'all know y'all can't see me in the hurdles Nobody I understand femca can run all the time She won't ain't nobody past present or I am the greatest 400 meter women's hurdler in the history of the sport And if y'all keep talking But I don't do it because she's already said In post race interviews, Sydney announces
Starting point is 00:57:46 she will complete, compete solely in the 400 meter flat and not the hurdles. Well, she had no choice. Cause Paulino and Al-Sawwee ain't bulljiving. They not bulljiving. And Sydney is phenomenal, but 48.90 ain't gonna win it. I done seen Paulino go 48.11. I done seen Go mid 48.
Starting point is 00:58:17 She gonna have to go low. She gonna have to go low. You also have to think about it. When it comes to track and it comes to some of the times right now, it takes running against the best to pull it up out of you. Well they're gonna pull it up out of you because Paulina can go out, NASA can go out, they can push the pace, they can push the pace. Now I want to see it, I want to see it to go sub 50 and the hurdles and put that record out there so it'd be like Flo Joe's. You see a lot of it. You see a lot of it. Hey, that
Starting point is 00:58:54 2133 and that 1049. I'm almost remember when she said that she went that 2133 and sold. And she went to, if I'm not mistaken, the 1049 is what she ran in Indy. I think the trials were in Indy that year. There was a lot of talk about the gauges and all that stuff. But all I know, hey, it's documented down. But that 2133, who was that? Jackson got closed, you know, Elaine Thompson. Bro, until someone get below 21-4, then y'all talk to me.
Starting point is 00:59:36 Then y'all talk to me. Like until somebody like, oh, oh, oh, they gonna get you say, bro, until I see somebody go low, until I see somebody go 965, then I'm like, hmm. But until somebody go 965, ain't no man been not other than, who was that? Tyson Gay? And what's the guy, the Jamaican?
Starting point is 01:00:07 What's the other Jamaican ran 969 but ain't no with the last time somebody ran that red 971 oh Joe When last time somebody read 972 and y'all talk about breaking 95 having no time not anytime soon Do y'all realize that? But hey, there was some racing going on today, Ocho. There was some racing going on today. Hey, that 800 meters. For Donovan Brazier to come back and have the injuries that he had,
Starting point is 01:00:39 and he came back with a 143, and then he comes back today and he wins the trial at 142, 16. Johan, Johan Blake, yeah. So he and Tyson Gaye, they tied with 969. But you saying they ran 963, 958, 968? Boy, man. He got three fast times to run. Boy, moving. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:05 I still believe that he would have ran sub 955 and he not celebrated in Beijing. If you go back and look at what he's doing, the last 10 meters of the race, he's sideways pounding his chest and he's clear of the field. But we gonna be geeked up. We're gonna be covered. We're gonna be covered. Hey that 400 meters. Somebody might look. That American record of I think Sonia Richards Ross,
Starting point is 01:01:45 it's 4870, I think that's the American record. 4760, the world record, Madarita Cope. And then you got Krachalova. So you've only got two women that's ever go sub 48, two, 4799 and 4760. Pushing it with Nasser, Paulino and see it. You might get a low sub for you might get a low 48. You might get sub.
Starting point is 01:02:13 You had no choice. Right conditions, right track, right competitors. Hey, special things happen when the best of the best are racing each other. Yep. Yep. You might. Melissa, oh Melissa Jefferson and Julian Alfrey, the St. Lucian. Hey, I got to see this. Because Melissa Jefferson, I'm telling you, you can't spot her. But Julian Alfrey, she powerful. She is. Cause Melissa Jefferson get out. I'm tell, hey, you can't spot her. That Julia D'Alfred, hey, she powerful.
Starting point is 01:02:47 She is a powerful woman. But boy, Melissa Jefferson can scan. Boy, she can scan. Oh, Ocho, she can scan. She can scan. Yeah. But that's gonna be the right, that's gonna be, hey, look. T. Shane Thompson, you got Noah, you got Bignarek,
Starting point is 01:03:06 you got Obelix Seville, I mean, you got some guys. So we gonna have some interesting races. 200, you got Noah. Kenny says, okay, hey, we gonna put some rounds, you have some rounds on you, I'm gonna have some rounds on me. Tobogo isn't quite in shape in the 200 So we're gonna see how that pans out
Starting point is 01:03:30 But boy that they Julian now to miss my and Melissa Jefferson The thing that they got to get they might get it right and she said and Paulino and Nasser in 400 and Nassar and 400. Ooh. Come on with it. Come on with it, come on. Don't play with it now.
Starting point is 01:03:52 And I just hope the American can get the baton around the track. That four by one? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, we talked about Melissa Jefferson Wooden. I'll make sure I put her name, sorry. Melissa Jefferson Wooden. Fifth fastest time ever covered put her name, sorry, Melissa Jefferson Wooden, fifth fastest time ever covered by a woman
Starting point is 01:04:07 on her way to a second national championship in the 100 meters, 1065. Dalila Muhammad won the hurdle, she retired at the end of the championship, she came out of retirement, ran a few, hey, see it was not in this, it was a Trojan sweep. Dalila Muhammad won the gold, I was out in this, it was a Trojan sweep. The little Mohamed got one to go.
Starting point is 01:04:30 What's the lady name? She got a brother played with the Bucks. You mean the Jaguars? No, he played with the Bucks. He played with the championship with the Bucks. And I think Anna Jones, I played with the Bucks. He played the one a championship with the Bucks And and and I think Anna Jones I played against Anna Jones dad is Henry Jones Played safety for the bills Anna Cockrell. That's the name Anna Cockrell So it was a it was a sweep for the the lady the lady Trojans
Starting point is 01:04:57 In the 400 hurdles, but the little Muhammad she wins Cockrell's got the silver and Jones got the bronze. But, they were hyped this up. I wanted, what's it called? Because you know, Femke gonna go over there and be like, oh Femke, she, oh, she do, she can't see it. Unless she got a rock and a shoe. That's the way.
Starting point is 01:05:25 Gabby Thomas takes third place to make the US team in the 200 and a photo finish by.001. The reigning Olympic champ barely, barely made it. But Melissa Jefferson, she put this race away immediately. Immediately, she's like, man, I ain't bull driving with y'all. Y'all play too much. But I ain't, hey, play with your kids.
Starting point is 01:05:56 And I ain't one of them. Melissa Jefferson, she read 2184. Battle, 2213. Gabby Thomas, 222084. Battle, 2213. Gabby Thomas, 2220. Brittany Brown, 2220. Mackenzie Long, 2220. Deja Stevenson, 2251. Madison White, 2256.
Starting point is 01:06:16 Kayla White, 2271. And Jameesa Ford, the South Carolina Gamecock, ran 2288. Blistering Tires but boy, Melissa Jefferson Man, I mean look at you got three 22 20s Woo, look how close that was on show By a by a foot a spike it looked like. Richardson misses the world, Sha'Carri. She missed, she, you know, she got to get right. She got some stuff going on, but I think she's the reigning
Starting point is 01:07:04 100 meter champ at the world. So we can see her reaction time. She got to get better reaction. She's powerful. She's explosive, but you can't spot these women. Oh Joe, 4'2 not catching 4'2. These people are too, they too, they too, they too. They too fast.
Starting point is 01:07:23 You run 10-7. You not finna spot somebody that run 10.7. You not finna spot somebody that run 10.7 and run them down. She's she's giving up too much ground. I mean her um her three phases of racing is similar to Noah Lowes. Noah Lowes. Noah Lowes finish crazy. Cuz he got 200 meters exactly and I Mean 200 meter endurance and She could carry the same way but the back end of her race
Starting point is 01:07:52 strong as hell She giving up too much ground the old Joe You can't give up you can't give up and that's what you saying realize you saying say man Look here as long as I can just, if I can just stay in striking distance, because what, once I get out of my drive phase and I stand up, you coming to get you. And it, it looks like, it looks like he's catching everybody,
Starting point is 01:08:16 but he's just maintaining his speed. Yeah. He just, he just decelerating. It takes him longer to decelerate. Maintain your speed. That's all it is. And everybody else is just decelerating. That's dope. That's dope. Ocho Texas High School track star Cooper Lukenhouse breaks the under 18 world qualified record at a championship. year though, for context, that would be the equivalent of him running 1975, 4388, a 345 mile or 1246 5k, which is 3.1 mile. He ran 142.27. He's 16, Ocho. Now check this out.
Starting point is 01:09:07 You can't, I, you can't come back to school. What'd you, what'd they go do with him in high school? Ocho? He had the record at 145. He took three seconds off it. So who gonna beat him in high school? So you lined up and he's like, well, well I guess I get a second coach. Oh coach, you know, my stomach hurting today. I don't wanna race against him. Nothing. Nothing.
Starting point is 01:09:36 The man, the man 16 running in the world championships. And I ain't talking about as no alternate. I'm talking about he got second. 142. That's crazy. I knew they was running the time because they went through that line at 49. Radija went through the line at 49. When he ran 140, Kip Keeter had the record, 141.1. And when Radija went through the line in 2012 at 49, I was like, oh my God, he got a chance at this. He really got a chance at this. And then he goes 140.90. I'm like, oh my goodness.
Starting point is 01:10:14 That's crazy. And y'all know we gonna be on this track thing now. So y'all, hey, if y'all looking for that track coverage, hey, my guy, Ry, congrats nephew. 40, what did he run, 46, 89, 46, 86? But like he said, 46, 86 ain't gonna win you nothing. Not when you got Dos Santos, not when you got Warhol. Samba, samba, he's been kinda hit or miss. Kyra McMaster, I don't know if he can get down to,
Starting point is 01:10:48 but Warholme and Dos Santos, you're gonna probably need to be sub, I'm gonna say you're gonna probably need to be sub 46.5. And it's kind of like, you know what it reminds you of is like the big three in tennis. The doll Federer Jokovic. Because you got Dos Santos reigning world champ, you got the reigning Olympic champ, and you got a world champ, Olympic champ, and the world record holder.
Starting point is 01:11:25 And they're basically all in their prime. Dos Santos is the youngest. I think Dos Santos is like 25. He's the youngest. But they're all in the absolute. Ry looked good today. I liked that he didn't panic when the young man took it out.
Starting point is 01:11:40 Cause normally Ry would like, okay, let me go track him down. Nah, I see you. I see you. I see you. So he read, he ran his race, but I'm, I'm excited. So, Hey, we will be providing full coverage of the world's mid September nightcap would be your track.
Starting point is 01:11:59 It's track and field. Hey, that's what we do. And you know, what we try to do, we go try to get somebody, some somebody somebody young men and women to come on and talk to us like we did last year and so I'm very excited about that September 13th through September 21st so Melissa Jefferson favorite been a long time oh it, been a long time since we, you know, we swept, the women swept it. We looking to sweep it. Now they swept it last year.
Starting point is 01:12:30 Well, I'm talking about the same lady. I don't know about us, and I don't know Ocho. Man, because Shane Thompson, he explosive. He can get out. Oblique, Seville, man, the Jamaicans, man, they ticked off. They ticked off, Ocho, about that limit off. They ticked off Ocho about that Olympics though. They mad about that.
Starting point is 01:12:46 They gonna have to show us. Yeah. We need to, the men need to show that we can get the baton around the track. That's what we need to show. Damn. They trying to drop the damn baton. Ah, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:13:04 Indianapolis coach running back, Sal Salvan Ahmed was taken to the hospital for x-rays after suffering what was reported as severe leg injury during practice. Ahmed was taken down. What's it called? Was this his teammate, Ash? Or were they in a joint practice? Our man was reported taking down with a hip drop tackle, a move that was banned from the NFL ahead of the 2024 season resulting in significant injury. The tackle was made by undrafted free agent, Trey Washington, who head coach Shane Steichen acknowledged afterwards was shaken up by the incident.
Starting point is 01:13:42 Ocho, a teammate. was shaken up by the incident. Ocho, a teammate. Live tackling drills. That's unfortunate. Undragged. The play occurred during the developmental period where drills involved third string players. Play was live, meaning tackling was permitted
Starting point is 01:14:00 in that part of the practice. But you can't hip drop. That's why they could't, oh Joe, I'm surprised it took them this long. Because Roy Williams, how many people got, T.O., that's how T.O. broke his head. That's more horse collar, you know hip, that hip drop.
Starting point is 01:14:16 The horse collar, but then guys started dropping their weight down. Yeah, they, listen, if you take the wrong angle, most of the time the hip drop tackle, it saves you if you can't catch the person. Now, you ain't gonna be able to do it. You ain't gonna be able to do it now. So whoever running most of the time as a running back,
Starting point is 01:14:37 they getting all them extra yards because you can't drop your weight on them no more. No, I messed up my ankle like that. That ankle get pinned up underneath the body. Ain't nothing you can do. But that's 180, 190, 200, whatever the power weight, man. All that weight down on you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:01 Ain't nothing you can do. Not at all. Knee, you blow out a knee, patella, break an ankle, break a leg. The best thing you can do, as fast as you can, I know it's kind of hard to do, when you feel that them putting that weight on you, just let your body go.
Starting point is 01:15:18 Your body has to be in a relaxed state. When you try to fight it or you stiffen, then some got to give and you got them your body you got to give your body up right away as soon as you feel that we don't that way don't you like that Anthony Richards cuts out skittles he says I need to be more of a pro with my eating oh Joe and it has no bearing and means nothing which would you would you consume, what you intake, it means nothing. Marsha-
Starting point is 01:15:50 It does, stop saying that. Marsha and Lynch, Skittles in the middle of the game. Me, McDonald's before the game. It means nothing. Either you know how to play or you can't. Either you got it or you don't. What you put in your goddamn system is not gonna change nothing.
Starting point is 01:16:07 Now you're mentally fucking yourself. But maybe if I stop eating this, then this will help with this. No, it's not. It will. It won't. It won't. It will, Ochoa. Hold on, hold on.
Starting point is 01:16:19 Keep that thought. Let me get you some bathroom. You think, well, I'm glad Tom Brady ate whatever he wanted. I don't think he did. Look, we're gonna go back and forth. Y'all know Ocho said in his ways, Ocho believe you can do it, but I just believe as an elite athlete, that's what you're trying to do. If you know better, you do better. And it's a situation where you get out what you put in. Put in optimal food, you get an optimal performance.
Starting point is 01:16:59 Now, Ocho like to take isolated incidences and work with that. I disagree. I seriously disagree. I vehemently disagree. I don't. You want to know why injuries are continuing to increase? All these soft tissue injuries? Because these goddamn fools keep listening to all these experts and all these damn scientists eating like goddamn rabbits eating all this green s**t. Ocho, Ocho let's not demonetize us tonight. What did I do? I cursed? I did. Yeah yeah like 14 times in like 15 words.
Starting point is 01:17:40 My bad you know I get real passionate when we talk when we talk. Yes I know. My bad. You know, I get real passionate when we talk. Yes, I don't. I don't. But I'm just saying. Okay. Yes. But I do think there's a correlation between
Starting point is 01:18:01 and I'm not saying that you know, you have to eat all one way but to eat like you did before. And I'm not saying that you know, you have to eat all one way, but to eat like you did before, I just don't, I don't see it. You put premium gas in your car, right? Why don't you just put regular gas in your new car? I don't.
Starting point is 01:18:23 No, you don't. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, You don't,'m, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I don't like the comparison. Yeah, I do. Because we play a barbaric sport. You have to eat. You have to eat. You have to eat. Not that healthy stuff. That's why everybody's falling apart. You're falling apart because you eat like a goddamn infant. Eat food. No. You have to eat. They eat food. You gotta build up a callus in the body. That's why everybody falling apart. Everybody getting hurt. Everybody, uh, nobody touching you.
Starting point is 01:19:08 They falling apart like a Barbie doll. When you remember the Barbie doll back in the days. Oh, oh, oh. Derrick Henry healthy. Derrick Henry healthy. What? No, he don't. Derrick Henry.
Starting point is 01:19:20 Yes, he does. He don't. Okay, listen, Derrick Henry healthy. LeBron James healthy. Okay, Tom Brady is healthy. That's three people. Out of how many? Out of how many?
Starting point is 01:19:28 We talk about the special greats. Hey, all time greats. Oh, so you mean, so you think that people eat like them? You think they'll be all time? No. Oh, they're not. You're not. You're not.
Starting point is 01:19:36 You think people eat like, oh, sure, they're going to go to the NFL? No, they're not. They're not. They're not. They're not. They're not. They're not. They're not. You're not. You're not. You think you think people eat like ultra they gonna go to the NFL? No, there's no. Okay, okay. I'm just just checking.
Starting point is 01:19:58 Listen, at some point, people go listen to me. People gonna listen. Everybody, everybody on that healthy kick. And everybody-duh-duh, I hope they don't. Everybody on that healthy kick, and everybody keep getting hurt. That's all I'm gonna say. I ain't gonna say nothing else. Y'all keep letting people fool you and selling you a product just to make some damn money. Talk about, oh, it's gonna keep you, this and that.
Starting point is 01:20:20 Oh, Derrick Henry, gluten-free. Derrick Henry avoids all gluten-free. Dairy-free, he eliminates dairy products from his diet. No fried food. Derek Henry avoids all fried food. No artificial sugar. Intermittent fasting. Henry often practices intermittent fasting,
Starting point is 01:20:38 consuming the first half of his meal later in the day. Sample meal plans. Pre-practice, kale, avocado, or banana. Post-practice, chicken breast, rice, broccoli. Second meal, gluten-free pancakes, scrambled eggs. Additional notes, Henry consumes large amounts of protein, typically around 200 grams a day. He uses a personal chef to prepare his meal. He spends around $250,000 per year on his diet and body maintenance. His diet is tailored to individual needs and may be depending on the season.
Starting point is 01:21:09 What did Michael Jordan, what did Michael Jordan eat before games? McDonald's. What did Usain Bolt eat before races? McDonald's, case closed. Case closed. Probably. Well, if Jordan Mata got 20 years, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
Starting point is 01:21:25 hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, mean, I'm not, you know, I'm not, I'm not a, I'm just, you know, okay. Hey, when you come, you know, don't eat all that bull job,
Starting point is 01:21:51 man. Y'all don't listen to me. Go out there, eat healthy. Maybe one day you'll be Tom Brady and Derek Henry and LeBron James. And yeah, good luck with that. Okay. That's what's gonna happen. The bond between Bajon Robinson and Kristen McCaffrey is strong. Bijon has been training recovering with CMAC all June and July in LA. Ocho, we know Iron Sharp is Iron. What should we expect from Bijon in Atlanta this year? Listen, we should expect what we saw last year, but more of.
Starting point is 01:22:24 Obviously, high usage of him in the offense, he's really, really good. He's really good. But obviously, with him being somewhat of a, what's the word I'm gonna look for? The security blanket. I don't wanna be the security blanket for Michael Penning Jr.
Starting point is 01:22:39 I want Kyle Pitts to be a security blanket. I want that offense to run through him. Obviously, B. John is a special, very, very special talent. He will be the feature back, obviously, in that offense. But, you know, we talked to Brother Kyle and I'm looking for Kyle to have a bounce back season and get back to what he did his rookie year because this is money year.
Starting point is 01:22:58 This is money year for him. But, listen. I agree. I definitely agree. And look, it all comes down to health. And a of times Oh Joe you start to doubt yourself because when you injured a bunch You're like damn It's just bad luck. You started like damn here. Here we go again. It starts the psych. It starts the process or the cycle mentally
Starting point is 01:23:21 He just got to stay healthy Basically the best his best season was his rookie season. He was healthy and he hasn't really been put, been able to string together a healthy season since. True. You heard what Saquon said about B'Jahann, huh? Oh yeah. Oh yeah. To get that kind of praise from Mr. Barkley, you already know you're special. Who's your favorite teammate or competitor to train with
Starting point is 01:23:47 during the off season? It was a group of us though. And it wasn't, I mean, it wasn't an actual teammate with the Bengals, but it was me, Andre Johnson, Santana, Antonio Brown. I'm missing somebody. Santana, Andre Johnson, Antonio Brown. I'm missing somebody. It was one more with us. Santana, Andre Johnson, Antonio Brown. I'm missing somebody.
Starting point is 01:24:06 It was one more with us. Santana Moss. Yeah, so us four, we trained during the off season together. Now that was fun. Yeah, that was fun. Those were some fun days. You see, coming in and getting some of that running, so y'all ain't putting that running in.
Starting point is 01:24:24 All you doing is wanna run rocks. But I did, to understand it, I had all the running that was going to happen in training camp. My running, my conditioning was boxing. Not fighting for real, but just the boxing, the footwork, and the hand-eye court, yeah. The bag, hitting the mess and stuff? Yes, yes. Man, they got that, man, that man, that man Thurier, it's a long time. and the bag is hitting the mess and stuff.
Starting point is 01:24:45 Man, they got that man. That man through it's a long time. That type of condition was, man, it was tremendous because when we had to report to camp and had to do that conditioning test and they trying to figure out why the hell you still running. Yeah, so the body was already ready, already acclimated.
Starting point is 01:25:05 Yeah, so the body was already ready, already acclimated. All right, Ocho, final segment of the evening. It's time for Q and A. Woo! Aaron Jones, Cole Hawker is a low known name. Actually he's not. He won the Olympic gold medal in the 1500 last year. So, okay, but okay, I get what you're saying. But his final lap is almost perfect.
Starting point is 01:25:39 He won the 5K this year. He only seems to be improving. Well, the thing is, if you make it that type of race, you gotta, if you know you got a kicker, you gotta take the pace out, you gotta take the kick out of it. If you let it come down to a kick race, kickers will out-kick you.
Starting point is 01:25:58 You got to take that zap, you gotta take the sting out of those legs, push the pace. For a number of years, that's what the Kenyans did to El Guroosh. He was the greatest. But they would push the pace and they would take turns pushing the pace. They would zap him.
Starting point is 01:26:20 Then he got smart. Run my race. And then I think it was Sydney, he won the what? The 5K and the 1500, finally. He's the greatest 1500 meter, I mean, and there've been some great 1500 meter runners. You know, Nordean Musali, Saeeda Weeda, you know,
Starting point is 01:26:43 Sebastian Coe, they're not him. John Walker, no. Kano, mm-mm. That Moroccan, he could do it. Until somebody get that 326, holler at your boy. Holler at your boy. Then we can talk. But like I said, for him to take down
Starting point is 01:27:10 Nordine Museli's record, like I said, no. But Cole Hawker, distance running. I mean, look, we like to glamour. We like speed. We like speed. Nobody like to see people, oh my God, round and round and round and round. Nah bro, hey, the best I can give you,
Starting point is 01:27:34 I give you 800. I give you that. But mainly 400 down, 4200. Hurdles, that's what I got for you. No, but Cole Harker, they left for the kick race and that's what happened. Cameron Norwood Jr., I honestly don't think Michael would leave the doubt for another team
Starting point is 01:27:56 if he doesn't get money he wants. Where would he play next year? Tell Jerry to trade him, you'll see. I tell you what, tell Jerry don't put that tag on him and see if he'll go play for somebody next year. He absolutely would. And somebody would make him the highest paid, go 45 million a year.
Starting point is 01:28:15 Yes, yes. No, Jerry's not gonna trade him, Jerry's not gonna be foolish enough to trade him and Jerry's not gonna let him back him into a corner like that either. But oh yeah, Michael definitely would go play for somebody else. Dr. Frank L Bellamy said hey fam, yesterday we celebrated two unforgettable moments Sterling induction to the Hall of Fame and my mom's
Starting point is 01:28:33 birthday and you know I ordered my bottle. Love y'all. Doc thank you very much we appreciate that so much. Happy birthday mom. Hopefully you enjoyed it. Hope y'all had some steaks on the grill, some ribs, whatever, mac and cheese, baked beans. But this was very joyous celebration for the Sharp household this weekend, one that we will not soon forget. Erin Orin says,
Starting point is 01:28:56 Drew Brees is the first ballot next year. Do you think they double up and put Eli in too, or is he going to have to wait a little longer? Drew Brees obviously is the first battle Hall of Famer. I mean, all those 5,000 yard seasons, he was a Super Bowl MVP, he's an offensive player of the year, he had the records until Tom broke them. Yeah, he's the first battle Hall of Famer.
Starting point is 01:29:20 Eli situation, look, I'll let y'all debate that. All I know is the sharp brothers Mary Alice Dixon got two boys her two sons of the first so Eli JJ And TJ Travis and Jason No uno Thank you. No uno. Robert Dredden says, salute 84 and 88, you feel of a killing
Starting point is 01:29:49 and congrats to your brother, Shanna and Chad. You're up next in the Hall of Fame. Yeah, boy, you trippin', bro. I got my own jacket. Can't find that, can't find that joker. I think that guy got it, Ocho. You need to tell him you want it back and tell him you get too pity.
Starting point is 01:30:10 T-Double said, I've watched every night Captain Club Shayshake interview from start in the gym. I love what you do. Do the analytics top two in both minutes stats. Thank you, bro. I appreciate that, man. I really appreciate that support. That means a lot.
Starting point is 01:30:24 Ocho and I, we try to do the best job we possibly can, try to get topics that you guys, we think you guys will be interested in. And some things that, you know, we can go have a healthy discussion about. Some things we agree on, some things we don't. That's just the way it is. That's just the way television works. We don't script anything. The only thing is that we try to come up with topics that you think you'll, that we think you'll be interested in and we can have a healthy discussion one way or another whether we agree or disagree about said topic. That's how we do it.
Starting point is 01:30:55 And Club Shay Shay, I try to find the most interesting guests and I try to ask questions that I think you, if you were in my chair, I try to ask questions that I think you would ask if you were sitting in my chair. Nothing more, nothing less. People like, oh, you being messy. I'm just trying to, I still haven't figured out how it was messy.
Starting point is 01:31:12 I asked Flau'jae a question. Now, Brittany Grindle started this. Brittany Grindle said she could beat Boogie Cousins. This was before Boogie, Taurus, Mattella, AC, other stuff. Yeah, yes. Brittany Grindle said she could beat Boogie, Taurus, Mattella, AC, other stuff. Boogie Boogie? Yeah, yes. Brittany Griner said she could beat Boogie one-on-one. Asia Wilson, I think she was on Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson podcast,
Starting point is 01:31:36 and they asked her, maybe tongue in cheek, if she played Josh Hart. She said she could beat Josh Hart, played one-on-one. So I asked Flage, I said, you know, Asia said, she said Asia to go, gave her props, three-time league MVP, defensive player of the year, finals MVP. You make a case right now she's a top 5W NBA player all time. Got no problem with that. You being messy. She said she could beat an NBA player one-on-one. Britney Grinders said it. Hey, they mean it too, huh? They not just, they wholeheartedly believe they could win.
Starting point is 01:32:16 That's part of their competitive spirit. That's part of their competitive nature. Realistic people. But they can't. You know why? Because when it becomes physical, this is why they If that was if they could do it we wouldn't be complaining about
Starting point is 01:32:31 Transgender competing there's a difference in testosterone levels You can't you just not Shikari is be Melissa Jefferson can run But she's not beating the top high school track guy. Those guys running too, the guy just ran 992. Marcus Leighton from here in Georgia, he ran 992 because it's physical. And when it comes to physical men and women, that's why they shouldn't compete.
Starting point is 01:33:00 That's why they don't compete. That's why they got women leagues. They got men's leagues. Yeah. Ta-da! It's okay. And I like, I like watching it. But if we be a truthful old show,
Starting point is 01:33:17 if we be an all the way 1000, everybody knows it. But listen, that's the confidence that they supposed to have. They supposed to think like that. Even though to us us, realistically, if the game becomes fit. You confident.
Starting point is 01:33:29 You think at any point in time in your career, as confident as you are, you could outrun Usain Bolt? Hell nah. But I talk some shit. Why you not confident? So you don't think you're not confident? Like I can. I'm going to talk trash like I can, knowing damn well I can.
Starting point is 01:33:41 He ain't going to hear you, because he's going to be finished. You're going to be halfway through. So when you get to the finish line. Listen, I'm the one, I'm the wrong one to ask when it comes to being confident about doing anything. You know you, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a. Yes, but you, but look, I get it. But like, I don't, I'm like,
Starting point is 01:33:57 and I thought Flage answered it, she's like, hey man, hey, he's a goat. But, I mean, 6'8 them guys were in 230, 240, just from a physical standpoint, Ocho. Yeah, yeah, no. Lil' Ninja said, what's up, Uncle Ocho? Ocho, stop camping, be a best man player. You've been ducking Cam forever.
Starting point is 01:34:19 Who the hell motherfucking made Cam this great player where he's like the pinnacle of all Madden players. Man, Cam ain't good, man. Cam can't beat me in nothing, man, let alone Madden can't beat me in tennis either. There's nothing Cam Newton can beat me in. Nothing. Madden tennis, racquetball, ping pong, nothing. Tennis, racquetball, ping pong, nothing.
Starting point is 01:34:51 Mr. Nod said, Oh, Joe, you guys think adding Keening Allen would upgrade charges wide receiver room. Absolutely. Yes. A viable target. Now, I'm not sure where he's going to go because lad McConkey, he dominates the middle of the field. Hey, put Keen on the other side. So we got two slot guys. One of, hey, both can win.
Starting point is 01:35:08 Consistently. Both can win. And I think Keenan wanted to be back in LA, his family's here. I like it, I like this move. Earl to the rain said, I was mostly disturbed over Sterling not being the last speaker.
Starting point is 01:35:29 First two brothers, he wasn't disturbed. Hell, he actually he wanted to be first. Get it out the way, huh? Yeah, man, yeah, yeah. He, like I said, he didn't write a speech. I had no idea he was going, knowing him, I kind of had the direct, kind of, you know, felt the direction that he was going to kind of go in.
Starting point is 01:35:56 I knew he wasn't going to, he wasn't going to be as long as I was because he felt Shannon had already covered that. You know, if you notice, he ain't spent a whole lot of time talking about granny, he didn't spend a whole lot of time talking about papa, talked about Libby, talked about my mom, how he appreciated her giving him a name that stood out.
Starting point is 01:36:18 Talked about why he did certain things and X, Y, and Z, but he's different. Once you get him to open up, you can't get him to shut up. But the hard part is getting him to open up because he's very guarded, very. Mayhem Matthew, reaction to Brock Lesnar returning. You glad he returned it? Me? Yeah. I think he, hold on, they had something go, they had something tonight, right? Because I saw uh John Cena. There was an ending. They had Okay, Summer Slam. Okay. Yeah. I mean, look, he's a, he's a very talented guy.
Starting point is 01:37:11 I mean, all American wrestler did UFC. He can wrestle, WWE. Why not? I like it. I just don't like what you call him being, I don't like John Cena being a heel. Yeah, I don't like John Cena being a heel. But hey, anybody can turn heel, John can do it.
