You've got to be able to make a play on the ball to dislodge the ball. Like, I don't understand what the NFL is doing. I understand you have to protect your players.

You do, but you also have to allow them and give them a chance to make a play on the ball so it's not a touchdown. Quarterback got to protect the player. My job, and my job as a defensive player is not to protect an offensive player. Ocho, I mean, for somebody that didn't think that much of Micah, he doesn't play to run. Why would you train to the Eagles? Listen, you know, Jerry ain't a fool. You're in a fool. You understand what you have. You just didn't want to pay the product on what.

And I can't say nothing about my team. And what Mr. Kraft did? Took a back seat. Yes. Yes. Listen, they both. Come on, Coach. You also have to understand with Robert Crud, you know,

he's been taking shots at Bill. So Bill, you know, he feels some type of way, uh, he feels some type of way. You got to understand what Bill has been through, you know. I think Bill might have been, he, Bill was forced out to toe now. you know you got you got rappers got beef right now you got no bill and robin have beefing everybody beefing right now mr craft said this week that when coach bellichick retires from coaching the patrons would give him a statue alongside tom brady well just put up honoring when the great 20 year era ended. It was always my intention to commission a statue for both Tommy and Bill when their respective careers were over playing and coaching. When

Bill's career, coaching career ends, we look forward to sitting down with him and having a statue made right next to Tommy. I like that. He's not petty. Now think about it. How long did Jerry Jones wait to put Jimmy in the ring

I don't I don't believe Mr. Kraft lied I don't believe I'm not like I haven't heard I haven't been privy to every conversation but I do believe that when coach Belichick coaching careers over be it college or NFL Mr. Kraft will commission a statute it's the greatest it's the greatest run and and in football. And then at the end, coach, Mr. Kraft sided with Bill Belichick and got Tom L. Bonner. And this man sided with you when Tom. Tommy had years left. I'm not saying that he would have won another Super Bowl in New England because the Cubbers was bare.

Edelman was on his last leg. They had let Amandola go, Gronk. They wanted to trade Gronk. Gronk. He was like, I don't want to practice like this. He was beating down. So I'm not saying that Tom would have won another Super Bowl in New England because the coverage were bare.

And he was right by going because he proved once and for all who was the reason behind this dynasty you have to give one to the majority of the credit even if you give him 51 to 49 he gets more credit because we saw him leave and go somewhere else and with another one and we saw what happened once he left it's really that simple you're right you're right it's hard to argue with that it's hard to argue with that but i still deserve a statue but go ahead I don't know what, Ocho, y'all might have got one if y'all could have won one.

There's nothing. I can't control that. The cars I was dealt, the timing when I came here, we were bad, we was bad. Yeah, y'all was good and terrible. Ryan Clark says that Tom Brady was not a generational talent at quarterback. He says, I think John Elway was a generational talent. I think Patrick Mahomes is a generational talent. I don't think Tom Brady.

I don't think Drew Breed. I don't even think Peyton Manning is a generational talent. I think Andrew Luck ended up being a generational talent. I think there are tons of them out there. I think, right, what he's trying to say is that he's looking at it from a purely thing where I can see. I can see the big arm. I can see the size. I can see the mobility.

When you look at Tom, he doesn't have a big arm. It's because, see, the generational talent that Tom has, that Breeze has, that Manning has, you can't see it. It's right here. Okay. I look at John L. Elway's arm. I look at John Elway's scrambling ability. That's generational. I look at physical tools, Cam Newton. We had never seen a guy cams size that could throw the ball and could run the ball. So Ryan is really looking at it from just a physical standpoint of the

generation, the talent that he can see. He'll sit as well. Yes. Okay. All right. Arm strength, size, speed, that. So when you when you put it like that and you give better content, on what Ryan means and you put it in that perspective, then I see what he's saying. And you can agree because if you look at a Tom Brady, if you look at a Peyton Manning, they're not the fastest.

At the best arm talent, you know, too. Generational Aaron Rogers would be in that conversation as well. We're talking about John Brady said it his goddamn self. Because you can see because when you watch him spin the ball and you see the talent,

the arm talent, and he had, had legs, he could throw on the move. Brady didn't really throw on the move. Go back, Maddie didn't really throw in the move. Breeze didn't really throw in the move. Rogers was pinpoint. It didn't matter. You can flush, flush him left.

If you flush him right, you get him away from his dominant hands, he could still roll left, open his hips, and throw the ball on target. You flush him out of the pocket to his dominant arm, he can throw the ball on time on point. You keep him in the pocket. He could change arms. slots. He can go over the top. He can go side. He can go three quarters. It didn't matter.

So I think, and like I said, this is Ryan's saying. I believe those because I believe Ryan is speaking purely from a standpoint of physical things that I can see. I can't see. I mean, arms, arm, they don't need. Neither one of those three, neither. Those three didn't have no strong arm. They weren't the most mobile. They couldn't run fast. They look at Josh Allen as generational. He's six foot five. He could run. He's got an arm. He can throw it through a hurricane. They look at him as generational because he has physical traits that you can see.

What breath, what breeds and Brady and Manning possessed, you can't see it, don't you? So that's, I think that's the thing. And people are like, hold on. He said they're not generational.

You're talking about maybe two are going to be a ain't getting out of the top five. Two of those two of those guys that you mentioned, not getting out of the top five. Brady's going to be one and man is going to be somewhere between two and five. It all depends. You got him in front of Montana. You got them behind Montana. You got them in front of my home. You got them behind my home.

But that's it. So I think for me, like I said, I mean, we heard the conversation. Chad would be interesting to see what you guys think. But it's interesting that he's like, they're not generational. Actually, Brady and Manning would be what you call transcendence. It's like when you're. look at like people look at yokech they're like what he can't jump he ain't got no muscle tall you look at lebron he's generational you see a guy six foot nine can jump out the gym could do all

this stuff physically that i can see ocho shack generational seven one can run dominate pull the backboard down muscular so i i think and i'm i don't want to speak for him but i say i think ryan is from a physically what I can see. I don't see great arm. I don't see outstanding arm talent like Mahomes, like Josh Allen, like John Elway. I don't see legs like Lamar Jackson,

Jailer Hertz, or Randall Cunningham, or one of those guys that were mobile. I don't see that. I don't see a guy that can try to change arms slots. I don't see a guy that's just as effective in the pocket as he is out of the pocket like I see Aaron Rogers.

So that's my two cents. That was his take on it. I think those guys are, I think, like I said, for me, Brady and Manning was transcendent. They're not generation, because the generation is 25 years. These guys are transcendent. So that's what I think about that. Andrew Luck. Wait, Andrew Luck, no, no.

Because they heard the thing. Let me ask you a question. When you, when people looked at Tom Brady at Michigan, nobody said he was transcended. Nobody said he was, he was generational. People thought Tom, uh, taught Peyton Manning's going to be generational. They talked about him since he was, he got enrolled in school. They talked about him being the number one pick. The same thing with Andrew Luck.

The same thing with Trevor Lawrence. Think about when Trevor Lawrence set foot on Clemson, they say when he comes out, he's going to be the number one overall. draft pick. I've been damn. The same thing they said about look, the same thing they said about Elway. To this day, I think Mel

Kiper still say John Elway is the highest rated quarterback that he's ever graded. He's received the highest grade. But John had things you could see. You saw the arm. You saw the legs. Things that you can see.

Right. You can't cut their head open and look at their brain. you just know they're picking your ass apart. Yeah. Yeah, I totally understand what Ryan was saying, especially when you put it in the better context like that, you know, with the comparison of Aaron Rogers

and the other players that he views as generational talents. Right. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, they stand alone in the class for their own. For sure. There's some other quarterbacks up there with him, but generational and i right because when you look at joe montanaugh look at joe he had he had he had no cam body he had no mahomes arm he didn't have Lamar legs that that joke was

mentally babe with that on three steps the ball's go five steps the ball's gone hey this mad jones i'm drew franklin and this is nfl cover zero we think NFL coverage should be informative and entertaining. That's the only way to look at it. Even come up with that, but, with, um, what's saying that? It has to be what you can see. It has to be that it's factor that makes something generational. It's based on the visual. That's it. That's the only way to

gauge it. Right. So, but I think to say that now, after all, that they've accomplished they're at bare minimum generational. At bare minimum after you see what they're accomplished. Now, if you wanted to, Ocho, if you had not knowing what you know now, if you just see those guys in college, I might could agree with you. I'm not looking at you reads as generational. Bro, he's not even, he's barely six foot tall.

He ain't got no big time arm. He's not that mobile. So I'm not looking at him and thinking that. I look at Cam Newton. Six foot five, 250, running four or five, can throw the ball 70 yards, can run like a fullback. He's a defensive lineman tied in and a quarterback's body. I'm looking at Josh Allen.

I'm looking at the physical traits. And he's like physically, he's generational. We didn't see anything like this. Who hadn't we ever seen like Cam? Who have we seen like Josh Allen that size with those types of arms? Yeah. They don't come around often. I know that.

And sometimes, like, when we look at generation, we're looking at for things that we haven't seen before. You see what I'm saying? We're looking for things that we haven't seen. Have we ever seen anything like Cam? And we might not ever see it again. I thought, unless you're taking Josh Allen. I thought we'd see it with our young boy down there in Indiana. I thought we'd see it again.

Oh, oh, Josh Richardson. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. so that's it i mean uh hey amari cooper has informed the los vegas raiders just days before the team opened the 2025 season at new england raiders o c chip kelly called say cooper called coach p carroll in the morning to say he was done playing it's unfortunate because he's a heck of a football player he knows in his heart what he wants to do

So I wish him the best. Hey, what happened, man? I think that always, Ocho, to be honest, you ask this question. I think that always rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. They sell the physical talent, but they didn't see the burning passion. That's what you heard about. You heard about that in Las Vegas the first time. That's why they traded him.

You heard about that at the Cowboys. That's why they did what they did. Admitsly, rock runner extraordinaire. Great run after the catch, but a burning desire. I don't think that was it, though. I think he was coming in to be where I was he was number one. And things weren't how they probably made it seem they would be once he got there. And he realized, okay, this is not.

They're the Raiders. You're not going to the Eagles. You're not going to Kansas City. Who called him? Look at the team that called you. Shouldn't that tell you something? Yeah, something ain't right. Then you got, you got, Gene.

I'm, I know I'm right. I know I'm, I'm asking. I'm going to ask him. I'm asking. You know, you know, I'm already from the career, right? You're from Miami. Yeah, I'm going to ask him. I mean, just, it's a great situation.

Gino Smith, Ascenti. I'm assuming you would be why I'm receiving. Rock Bowers. I mean, that's a great situation to be in. That's, I mean, to me, Los Vegas. I mean, shh, man. I think also, look, if your heart ain't in it, it's hard to fake this game, won't you?

It is. It's hard to roll your ass up out of bed because, hey, these legs hurt. And you got to, you got a, it's got to be a desire. You got to jump out of bed. Because that's why people have success when they enjoy doing what they're doing. When you jump up out of bed, when you look forward to it,

there was never a day that I didn't look forward to getting my ass up going to go into practice or going to the game. I have a question, huh? Yes. Did he even have a chance to practice with him? Did he have a chance to practice? Yeah, he practiced, yeah. I get, you know what?

and that ballot reiterated, the coach don't plan to trade Richardson. No. Hold on. I'm trying to let it was constructive, but let feelings be known. You got, Ocho, if Richardson had taken care of his business,

would we even be here? Absolutely not. So we're going to put, we're going to shift all the blame and all the owners on the coats. So what is the culpability of the player? We can't say, Ocho, they didn't give him no weapons.

Huh? Well, he got three good ones over there. now he got a he got a he got a he got a pro bowl all pro running back he got a solid offensive line three no actually four good receivers I'm trying to figure out so so they're talking about uh to let feelings be known your feeling should be hurt you should be disappointed that he allowed himself to be in this situation coach you knew he was a project you said that and you said it's going to take time yet you threw his ass out there you didn't have a vet to compete with him and you threw him out there opening week so you're just as responsible he is yeah he can only do what he can do he only can do what he knows you said he was a project when you took him well if he's a project you let him develop you don't feed him to the you don't feed him to the you don't Don't feed him to the wolves.

But he's got no patience, huh? Not these days. Well, you can't make him a project then. You got to take a proven commodity. Or as close to a proven commodity as you can get, also. So many of them. It's only so many of them. You got to understand.

Unk, finding a good quarterback, not a great one, finding a good quarterback that you can beat around. It ain't like picking apples off the goddamn tree in the summer. It ain't that easy, which is why it's so difficult for teams to find someone they can build a franchise around for a decade. It's hard to find your next Lamar Jackson and your Josh Shalden. Hell, you joke, the bans have been pretty good when it comes to quarterback and receivers. Everybody can't be Green Bay.

We've only had three quarterbacks in the goddamn past 30 years. It's difficult. Here's the problem. Normally, people take projects like they did Lamar. They said Lamar was going to be a project. They took them with a 30 second pick. You don't take them with the third pick like they did in San Francisco like they did in Indy.

You take a project with the third pick in the draft, with the fourth pick in the draft. I have a question. Every scout, every GM, every owner that looked at Lamar Jackson at Louisville and said, this is a project, had no position, has no business being in whatever position they in. There's no way you saw Lamar Jackson play at Louisville and thought him coming to the NFL. He's a project at the quarterback position. Well, I can see why they saw that because even though he threw the ball,

he's like, could he eventually throw the ball from the pocket? And he's shown. I was a guy with like, look, I was like, look, he could have got to play quarterback. If he can't hack it at quarterback, then move. But I'm not, I'm going to play that role first. And if I don't succeed at that, Ocho, whatever y'all want me to play. Y'all want to play wide receiver.

Y'all want to play D.B. Y'all want to play running back. I'll do that. But I'm going to get a crack at this quarterback first. Because y'all let Tebow play quarterback. So I'm damn sure going to play quarterback. I think I could throw the ball better than him. With that being said,

who does San Francisco trade all those picks for? Trey Lans. And say, well, he'll probably. Ocho, you move heaven and earth. for a project? Oh, hell no. You moved that for a Joe Burrow. You moved that for a Trevor Lawrence.

You moved that for no, a guy that started 16 games. And then side out the next, oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. And so that's my problem, my problem with the Colts is that you knew what you was drafted. And then you was like, okay, go. this guy is like the heir apparent of a company he's going to be CEO one day or do get on the job you make him CEO tomorrow no and then you wonder why he didn't succeed bro you said you're going to let him grow into the road you say you're going to let him transition into the road you didn't put you don't put him in the role to meet role immediately you have to understand when you take players as high as they took anthony richardson people jobs on the line people jobs on the line so they have no choice but the put them out there and see what you can get am i going to get a return on my investment because i got to put my investment out there right now i don't have the patience i need i want to win right now

look what green bay did did they put er ron rogers out there right away no they didn't have to look what they did they did they did they put lawrence uh uh uh uh uh love that's also my point is is that you do is that now you get him out there now you find out that like straight last really he's not a friend he's not going to be a franchise quarterback how do you get that taste out your mouth is a toss up is it now you've seen two years of work for richardser i know they're saying publicly but do you actually think they think he just got going to be a franchise quarterback coach no Damn.

Damn. Think about it. Patrick Mahomes. They broke back. They changed Patrick Mahomes. A lot of his mechanics. Now look at it. Didn't start.

Then the next year he goes, rents a MVP. He wasn't crazy, boy. That's not an accident on, Joe. an accident, Ocho. It's not. Wow. Tim Tebow and Anthony Richardson

have identical starts to their careers. Anthony Richardson is 8 and 7. Tim Tebow, 8 and 6. Tim Tebow has 23 passing in Russian touchdowns. Richardson has 21. Tebow has 15

turnovers. Richardson has 17. Rush and past yards, Tim Tebow has 3,123. Anthony Richardson have 3,026. Completion percentage, 47.4 for Tebow, 50.6 for Richardson. Hey, I have a question. Yes. Are those numbers good?

No, they're awful. they are you have to say it like that i just like you're supposed to ease your way into answering that no but they're not they're not good and nobody thought tibo was going to be a franchise quarterback you whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa you didn't think tibbo would be a franchise quarterback coming out of florida after that season he had his senior year okay okay okay okay okay even after even after that game he had against Cincinnati where he threw for 400 yards no

you got to be able to throw the football consistently and accurately to beat that in NFL and if you can't you're not going to run your way to a championship those days are over that is true yeah I mean

Tebow did win a playoff game yeah I remember DeMere's Tomlin Tim Tebow wanted to he wanted the division that it was that defense though huh that defense is really good the defense was really good so damn richardson need to get with uh find him a george whitfield or tom house work with some mechanics and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and put time in the film room i don't i don't you know but he has to want study film watch film try

would give you a first round no question what type of draft pick you think somebody give you for Anthony Richardson right now no third or fourth and the highest you know what they would hang up the phone you hang up the phone but they would they would give you for him but still they're not going to let him go for the symbol of In fact, there's no answer if Daniel Jones starts playing bad. There's nothing to go to. So we have to have someone to fall back on if things don't go right. Ocho, you know Powerball 1.7 billion.
