Starting point is 00:02:56 NFL week one is here and a new season mean new ways to get in on the action that DraftKings Sportsbook, an official sports betting partner of the NFL. Fans have spoken. New DraftKings customers bet $5 to get 250 in bonus bets instantly plus one month of NFL Plus Premium on us. DraftKings Sportsbook app, use code Shanna. That's code Shanna for new customers
Starting point is 00:03:27 to get 250 in bonus bets when you bet just five bucks and get one month of NFL Plus premium on us. Offer ends 9.19, only on DraftKings. The crown is yours. The Bengals have reportedly banned reports of the NFL Plus premium on us. The Bengals have reportedly banned reporters from filming players crossing the street to the practice facility. This comes after fans were making fun of the team online yesterday. Ocho, did you see this? Why are professional athletes having to cross the street to get
Starting point is 00:04:02 to practice? I mean, why are professional athletes having to ride bicycles to get to practice in training camp in Green Bay? I mean, what are we talking about here? I mean, most of the time, Ocho, people don't have to cross the street. You just go this, you know. It's not that far of a walk. It ain't that bad. I took it. Normally people just walk out of the field and the practice field is right there. I mean, and the practice field is still right there. It's not that bad. I took it. I mean, normally people just walk out for the field and the practice field is right there. I mean, it's in the practice field is still right there. It's not that far. No, it ain't. No, it ain't. Y'all right up under the bridge. You can go to overpass. Hey, people in Cincinnati, y'all want to watch the
Starting point is 00:04:36 Bingham practice drive right over that, park your car and look right over the overpass. There they go. It's not that bad. The walk is not that bad. I just asked you a question. Could they do that? Yes or no. What you mean, could they do what? The fans, could they park their car on the highway,
Starting point is 00:04:52 the overpass and watch you guys practice? It's a yes or no. Yeah, they used to come watch me all the time. Cause I was entertaining. That's not normal. No other team can you do that. Well, we have a bubble too now. That's when it's not normal. No other team can you do that. Well, we have a bubble too now. That's when it's cold outside.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Y'all practice the majority of the time outside. Well, what's wrong with that? You still can't stop us. You can watch all you want. You still ain't gonna stop us on Sunday. Man, y'all was terrible for like 100 years, Ocho. Who? The Bengals.
Starting point is 00:05:22 We talk about now. You can go up there and watch your good film practice all you want. You still not gonna stop T. I bet you don't let nobody film practice. Even if you do, you still not gonna stop our players. You not gonna stop T. Higgins. You not gonna stop Jermaine Burton.
Starting point is 00:05:34 Yes you can. You ain't gonna stop Joe Burrow. I mean, what you talking about? If that was the case, why they stop filming? Why they don't let y'all film no more from the situation like Coach Belichick used to do, Spygate. Why they stop that? I don't know. You do though.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Oh, I don't know. But you can you can spy on me. I'm a still I'm a still rout your ass up. There there there's a reason why they huddle. There's a reason why. It doesn't matter, though, Joe. There's a reason why. I mean, yeah, listen, it matters.
Starting point is 00:06:02 It matters to some to some some that's gonna get it out in the mud no matter what, whether you know it or not. You finna get this work. I'm telling you what I'm getting ready to do and I'm gonna go out there and do it anyway. Now that's how I think. Now, unfortunately to the masses and those that, you know, it matters much more too,
Starting point is 00:06:22 they want an advantage as much as possible in not knowing what's going to happen. I felt good. I felt good to get that off my chest. Yeah, y'all was. Y'all was. I mean, back in the day, you're like, y'all was bad. Like, OK, I'm a senior Cincinnati or I'm a senior to New England. I'm a senior to Indy.
Starting point is 00:06:41 But, oh, man, damn. Listen, would nobody have a problem to come into Cincinnati right now? I'm just telling what I play. I play it right now. Oh, I'm just telling what we used to talk about back then. We talk about the past. Yeah. Oh, well, I mean, that's that's long gone. It's this and Mike Brown, the Blackburns, the family, Duke Tobin, they have turned the culture in that city around.
Starting point is 00:07:07 That franchise, they turned it around and it all started with one quarterback. It's amazing what a quarterback can do for you. His name is Joe. His name is Joe Blonde Burrow. Well, you see what, what'd you call them? Peyton, they got a new stadium in Indy, Peyton Manning. We see what Tom Brady, he caught Drupal to worth the value of the Patriots.
Starting point is 00:07:27 You see what Kansas City did with Mahone boy? Yeah, oh yeah. Hey man, listen, boy. Yeah, you damn right. You damn right a quarterback can change your fortune. Just like a great, you see what LeBron did in Cleveland? You see what Steph did in the Bay? In the Bay, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely, helping Luke Lee. Shoot, see what Ocho did in Cincinnati? My bad, my bad. Yeah. Yeah. Ah. Ah.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Yeah. Yeah. Thinking with Cincinnati, Jamar Chase is reportedly tracking towards playing on Sunday against New England. Cincinnati continues negotiation with Chase side to get a contract extension done. He practiced today and yesterday with Cincinnati getting more sessions tomorrow. What do you think will happen here, Ocho? Will we see Jamar on the field on Sunday?
Starting point is 00:08:25 Listen, this is, it's tough. It's tough on Jamar. It's tough on me as a fan of Jamar. It's tough on me as a fan of the Bengals offense. It's tough on me as a fan of the Bengals in general, because I understand the importance of Jamar and understand the importance of Jamar being a part of our offense for us to have
Starting point is 00:08:51 consistent success and have a different outcome at the beginning of the season. We normally start the season slow. You know, we always start out the gate, 0-1-1, 0-2, and I think for us, I think we need to hit the ground running with a little different approach this year and probably try to start the season fast
Starting point is 00:09:11 and get a few wins under our belt, as opposed to trying to dig ourselves out a hole. I think it'd be imperative that a deal gets done for Chase, but I think he doesn't touch the field unless it is done. It would be foolish for him to play now, Ocho. He's a... Now, you know, back in the day, if you held out, the team could forgive those fines. The team can't forgive those now. Yeah, the rookie... Under the current CBA, on your rookie contract, if the time that you do miss in season they can you get
Starting point is 00:09:45 you you're forgiven for those fines if I'm not I don't think so Ocho I don't think fines can be forgiven now I think that was the new rule in the CBA nah look it up Ash can fines be forgiven? Listen listen can I can I say something real quick yeah go ahead Jamar Chase right now is top three receiver in NFL. Justin Jefferson has gotten paid. C.D. Lamb has gotten paid. A.J. Brown, Devontae Smith, Jaylen Watto, Tyree Keel.
Starting point is 00:10:12 He is a tier one receiver. And out of the tier one receivers, he's the only one that's gotten paid. So just listen to me real quick, chat. Rookie's king? Yeah, he's a rookie. Yeah. So listen to me.
Starting point is 00:10:24 You want him to come back. Everybody saying, oh, he has two years on his deal. Okay. You want him to come back. He's playing as a top three player, but you want to pay him on a re contract, but you want the production that he's going to provide you to be that of a tier one receiver. Sure. For sure.
Starting point is 00:10:42 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I know that's not the way business works That's not the way business works. Now. I'm all about doing things in good faith Because if you're paying someone as a top player, but they're not performing at the top level What's the first thing they do to you on? Oh, we already know it's one-sided They gonna get your ass up out of there. They gonna get you up out of there Are they gonna call you to the office say you know what your production is not what it once was We need you to take a pay cut
Starting point is 00:11:06 Yeah, but here's the thing. Oh Joe in the process of taking that pay cut now. We're gonna take your money We're gonna take 50 60 percent of your money, but we still need you to make those plays like when we gave you the contract shit child, please Pay me rookie fines can be forgiven, Ocho. See? Told you. I told you. I told you.
Starting point is 00:11:28 But listen, I'm hoping. I'm hoping, Uncle. They waited to the last minute with Joe Burrow. I'm hoping. I'm hoping for the sake of my sanity. For my sanity, I hope a deal gets done. If it doesn't get done, I believe, I believe in T Higgins. T Higgins, I've been saying this since day one. T Higgins is a number one receiver,
Starting point is 00:11:53 which is why when he hits the market next year, he finna get a bag. But here's the thing, Ocho, you need both of your number ones because it doesn't do you any good to just have one. Yeah, but listen, we have great depth now. We have great depth. We have nobody. Ain't nobody. Ain't nobody chase as great as he is. He ain't chase. They're completely there to completely different. He ain't chased. He could be completely different, but he ain't chased. Hold on. I don't like the way you talk about my dog man. I Would you put him in top five who
Starting point is 00:12:36 Higgins top man, he can tell you he top ten what you talk about top five. Oh, no They're mathematically you spelling is hard He taught me top ten though. He that boy now don't don't do that. He taught teen you got damn, right? He top 10 though. He that boy now. Don't don't do that. He top 10. You got damn right What you want to do what you want to do? Let's let's let's run it right now. Don't play don't play Okay, let's see. Let's see. Wait, let's see where it right. Let's go. Okay, let's go chase Is he chasing? No order i'm just saying no do the top do the top five. We know the top five, right? Chase justin jefferson cd lamb tyreek uh Let's say uh aj brown. Okay, that's fine, right? Okay, that the top five, right? Chase, Justin Jefferson, CD Lamb, Tyreek, let's say AJ Brown.
Starting point is 00:13:07 OK, that's five, right? OK, that's top five. Now let's go after that. Come on, talk to me, man. You put Tyreek in your top five? I just did. OK, what about Devontae? OK, Devontae, that's six.
Starting point is 00:13:19 I'm not taking him over. Hold on. I'm not taking him over, hold on. I'm not taking him over, Cooper Cup? What? You taking, man? Oh, just stop. See, that's why I ain't even doing no more. I don't even wanna play no more.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Stop playing, man. Listen, man, don't ever, don't ever. Hey, do me a favor. Don't do me a favor. Do me a favor, do me a favor. Man, don't ever disrespect T Higgins like that, man. You saying T Higg he better than Cooper Cup. Hey Like we've been we've been friend for 37 years I don't want that friendship to end but you talk about tea higgins like that
Starting point is 00:13:54 Oh, I didn't say to him bad, but he ain't better than Cooper Cup To completely different type of receivers Oh, oh all the guys are different type of receiver, right? receivers. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
Starting point is 00:14:12 oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, AJ, Devante, St. Brown. Hey, I'm on Rob. He nice to. Uh, I'm on Ross. You got here or you got digs? I just want to hear you say it.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Could you say digs with your guy. You say, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Dig, dig, dig. That's my dog. Hey, matter of fact, a step on. I know step on. I'm going to see this step on. I'm telling you, homie, like you my guy, right? If I don't get a pair of them basics that you got to look clad with.
Starting point is 00:15:03 It's on site. Oh, good. So we got. So right now, oh, Joe, we got left. If I don't get a pair of them Asics that you got to collab with, it's on site. Pooka. So we got, so right now, Ocho, we got left. We got Pooka, we got Ayuk. Oh. We got your guy, George Pickens. We got-
Starting point is 00:15:18 Hey, I don't, I don't, you know what? I don't like what you're doing right now. I just, Ocho, I'm just giving you some names. I know, but you, listen, listen, you put me in a tough spot. You put me in a tough spot right now? I just, Ocho, I'm just giving you some names. I know, but you, listen, listen, you put me in a tough spot. You put me in a tough spot right now. Now listen, I'm telling you T Higgins is top T, top 10. And you gonna understand that
Starting point is 00:15:33 after you gonna understand that during this season. I'm not saying what he's not gonna be after the season. I'm saying right now. I'm not saying what he is right now. I'm telling you what he is. He's been that since Clipsy. No. All right. Listen, telling you what he is. He's been that since Clipsy. No. All right.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Listen, we can agree to disagree. What about your boy, Terry McLaurin? Oh, that's my dog. That's my dog. That's my dog. Hey, that's my dog. Scary Terry, boy. What you talking about, Commanders, baby?
Starting point is 00:16:02 That's that boy. Hey, you had, you made me stand up on that one. So we still got Waddle, we got Devontae Smith. So I think somewhere like top 15, but I don't know if he cracking the top 10, Ocho. I don't, honestly. Like you know what? This is why I don't like numbers. I don't like anything having to do with the number system and ranking players when they all good in their own right. Now you have the tier one, you got them tier one dudes that are special that can go to any team. Oh, oh I got one. Let me finish.
Starting point is 00:16:39 Okay, what about Mike Evans? What are we gonna do with Mike Evans? Oh boy, hey, hey Mike Evans. Gary Wilson, what are we gonna do with Gary Wilson? Oh, hey. What about Am Evans? What are we going to do with Mike Evans? Oh, boy. Hey, hey, Mike. Wilson, what are we going to do with Gary Wilson? Oh, hey, what about a Barry Cooper? Chris, a lot of this is a big bad. You better stop on top. I'm at 15 right now. I ain't never know. I ain't playing. I ain't playing with no more.
Starting point is 00:16:58 Hey, listen, hey, you see, you see, you see how you just did that. Each name you call, I got excited. I got excited because I understand what the boys do. The receiver pool is deep. It's deep. But T. Higgins, that's Cinco, he top 10. He top 10. Hey.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Well, we've just looked up pro football focus, got him at 32, but we ain't gonna talk about it. We gonna move on. Pro football focus? Nah, listen, I know what I like pro football focus, so I ain't gonna say nothing bad about them. I ain't gonna say nothing bad about them. But everybody has a difference of where you go.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Oh, where you going? I was just over here. All right, go ahead. Oh, oh, where you going? I was just over here looking. All right, go ahead. Hey, anyway, anyway, chat, listen, that's a tough conversation. Obviously it all comes down to preference at times. Some people like, what's that?
Starting point is 00:17:58 Why you got the Eagles helmet? Provo, Urban Fry. Hey, Urban Fry, he still preaching? I couldn't tell you. My Ravens hell man. Hey, you know what's bad, can I tell you something when it comes to memorabilia? What? I don't have none of my, I don't have no memorabilia outside of these three jerseys. I got three jerseys, I got frame, Cincinnati, I got a Patriots one, and I got three jerseys. I got frame Cincinnati. I got a, a, a Patriots one and I got a Dolphins one.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Even though I was there for three days, I still got a Dolphins was sitting up there. Cause I'm from Miami and I don't have no, no memorabilia. Chat people that are in the chat. If anybody can find where my hall of fame jacket is that I wore against the Ravens that night, If anybody can find where my Hall of Fame jacket is that I wore against the Ravens that night, we played them on Monday or Thursday night that I wore over my shoulder pads.
Starting point is 00:18:51 If anybody can find that, I'm willing to pay ungodly amounts of money to get that jacket back so I can frame it. Please, if you guys can get the message out there, anyone that knows anyone that has that jacket, I would love to have it back. I'll pay whatever needs to be paid. That's a one of one.
Starting point is 00:19:11 That's a one of one. And I really like that back, please. You didn't trade helmets at the Pro Bowl? I did. I don't know where they at. I don't know where they at. And I hate that people that have traded with me, people that have traded jerseys with me, if you happen to see this, I just want to apologize.
Starting point is 00:19:32 I don't know where nothing is at. I don't. I got something for you, Ocho. What's that? How much would you pay me for this? What's that? A Gator! Hey I can go out and kill myself!
Starting point is 00:19:51 Hold on I can go down the street and get one of them! Yeah! Kill myself old choc! But he's still alive you ain't kill that! Kill myself! 22 right to the top! No you didn't! You're a hater man!
Starting point is 00:20:02 I told you I killed a gator myself! No you ain't killed You're a hater man. I told you I killed a gator myself. No you didn't kill no gator by yourself. Show me the footage. Show me the footage. That was a long time before it was camera phones. Okay then you lying in. And I am the gator. I ain't here no more. Nah I need to see the footage because I know I know they had VKG had camcorders back then. But'll tell you what we can't do. We can go, uh, we go to the soup, but we can go down there. We go, uh, what you call them? What? Go catch one in the swamps in the body. I can go to the swamps right here. Everglades ain't right
Starting point is 00:20:35 down the street. Huh? No, they ain't no fun. I want to go down to the bayou. What the, what the swamp people, we got to say, we got the same thing here, but we got, we got alligators right here in the open locker canal I know they be crossing the street no I want them I want to go down there get the boat I want to go big liars get me one oh we got the air boats right here man in the Everglades we could do that here no we got we got um we got gator farms, crocodile farms. Nah, it ain't no fun.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Yeah, you can wrestle with them. You can't even wrestle with them in the bayou. Let me ask you a question. Why would I wanna go shoot fish in a barrel? I wanna go in this habitat. I wanna go where he at. That's why I said the Everglades. You don't know about the Florida Everglades?
Starting point is 00:21:22 Ocho, we gonna be in New Orleans for the Super Bowl. No, see the gate is in New Orleans, they soft. The real gate is out here. No, the little baby gate is out there. I'm talking about 15, 18 foot crocodiles. They ain't got no crocodiles, crocodiles don't live in. Alligators, we got crocodiles, they're alligators. You got alligators.
Starting point is 00:21:43 We got crocodiles too. No, you got no crocodiles, a crocodile crocodile to live here. How you gonna tell me, huh? Cuz I'm telling you I write bit That's time for our new segment money moves sponsored by draft King guess what we got animation too Hey We got animation too. Hey, hey. Uh, in much in his much anticipated return charges head coach, Jim Harbaugh starts the seasons with high expectation. Harbaugh is co-favorite and plus eight 50 to win NFL coach of the year at
Starting point is 00:22:21 Draft King that's tied with Chicago bears head coach, Matt Iberfluse, for the best odds to win the award. Coming off a national title at Michigan, odds makers are clearly buying what Jim Harbaugh is selling. Ocho, what's your expectation for the Chargers this season? I think the Chargers are gonna look completely different than they did last year. I think they're going to look completely different than they did last year. I think they're going to look completely different than they did last year.
Starting point is 00:22:46 My only issue is a concerned are the weaponry. That the quarterback has at his disposal. Quinn Johnson, I know you might see this, but I need you to show up and show out inconsistencies that I've seen on film from training camp. You know, the drops, I mean, all that, all that is fixable. I just need you brother to brother come out there and show out. They let Keenan Island walk. They let Mike Williams walk because you're next in line.
Starting point is 00:23:16 You're next up. The organization is telling you, you are the man that's next in line to take over as the number one receiver. I need you to play like a week one from that point on. That's it. But as far as as far as hardball is concerned. Everything he touched turns the goal when it comes from a coaching standpoint and the teams that he coaches, it turns the goal.
Starting point is 00:23:40 So I expect the same thing to happen there. And I think they're gonna be fine. And normally it happens quick. You look at San Diego, you look at when he went to Stanford, when he went to Michigan. Now he's back, I mean when he charges, you look at normally the first year there's a drastic turnaround when Jim Harbaugh takes over the program and so I don't expect anything he has a quarterback that can make every throw he's a lot more athletic than you give him credit for that's gonna be interesting to see how they rather you know they lost Eckler he went to the commanders he was the guy that could do it everything he could run the ball well caught the ball extremely
Starting point is 00:24:22 well out of the backfield around the the goal line, he was a lot tougher runner than people gave him credit for. They got some people, I think, the question is, their defense, I'm disappointed in their defense. When you look at what they got defensively. Superstars. They got Boats. Derwin James. He broke his hand,
Starting point is 00:24:42 so he's gonna be out. They got Derwin James. They got Khalil Mack. Khalil Mack. You know. So he's going to be out. They got Derwin James. They got a Khalil Mack Mac that, you know, they got a Santa Sam. You think they got talent at the yin. Yeah. Oh yeah. Y'all give it up. Plays like that. So I do think Harbaugh is going to turn this team around. They're the. Look, Kansas City is in that division. We know right now, starting off his favorite, they're the favorite
Starting point is 00:25:08 to win the division again. What's there? What? Six, seven times. I mean, maybe they wanted, I think they wanted the last two years with, uh, Alex Smith and you know, they wanted every year since Patrick Holmes has been there starting quarterback. So, but do I do, I think the expectations, what do you think?
Starting point is 00:25:24 Nine and seven, 10, no, excuse me. 10 and seven, nine and eight. What do you think the record could be? I like 10 and seven more. I'll go north in the direction of 10 and seven. Okay. Simply because they have a quarterback. Simply because they have a quarterback.
Starting point is 00:25:44 And anytime you have a quarterback, Simply because they have a quarterback. And anytime you have a quarterback, you have a chance at winning. Starting point is 00:30:35 You could also find it on the talking baseball YouTube channel and new episodes drop every Tuesday. Speaking of Michigan, Sharon Moore is in his first full season as head coach of Michigan. And somehow, Ocho, he's still working on a contract. On Thursday, Michigan Athletic Director confirmed that Moore and the university are still working on a deal. Several of his assistant coaches are also without contracts.
Starting point is 00:31:12 What did you do that at? I mean, they don't do it anywhere, but the fact that, you know, because of the entity that you are working for, it ain't going to be no post-dated checks. So, you know, when that, when that check does come, it's going to clear. Just we talk about Michigan now. It was some other small. It was some other small company I can't trust. Now, you know, you know, your money coming when it come to Michigan.
Starting point is 00:31:39 Oh, that check gone clear. So you so you work so you so you work you working for free. I mean, you're not working for free, but you're gonna get paid for the work you put in. There's a difference now. But let me know that, because we talk about Michigan now. Did Harbar work without a contract? So how long did Harbar work without a contract?
Starting point is 00:31:57 What about Coach Saban? What about Dabo? What about Kirby? Oh, they working on Mr. Moore numbers. The man had the job for six months. So Joe, what you mean you working on his number? Who takes a job and you still trying to figure it out six months later, how much I'm gonna pay you?
Starting point is 00:32:17 I don't know. I'm just telling you, I'm just telling you if I was- Chad, am I out of line here? I'm trying to figure this out. So hold on. When did Harbaugh get the job? What did Harbaugh get the job at? At said at the charges.
Starting point is 00:32:35 Because maybe it's me, maybe it's maybe it's me, maybe it's me, maybe it's me, guys. Because, you know, sometimes I have a have a sometimes I have a propensity. Right. You got to have I got a job, Jay, where 24. have a propensity. Right. He got, Harbaugh got a job January 24th. When was Sherone Moore named head coach at Michigan? He was named head coach January 26th. So February 26th. March, April, May, June, July, August. Here we are September.
Starting point is 00:33:07 So we've had eight months. Okay. You know who else doesn't have a contract that is deserving for the work he's put in and going to put in? Jamar Chase. Jamar Chase has a contract. Oh Joe, not two years left on the contract. He signed that not comparable.
Starting point is 00:33:29 It's not enough. No, but you said he doesn't have a contract. He actually does have a contract. He has two years left on the contract that he signed on his rookie deal. Sharon Moore does not have a contract. At all. At all, period. No contract. All right, that was a- They're trying to work out terms.
Starting point is 00:33:50 They're trying to come to an agreement. So the man was an intern. How many games did Harbaugh miss? Three, four? So he missed three games. So you saw him intern. He kept the ship afloat. He was your OC.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Called a national championship game. You won that game. You name him head coach on January the 26th. And you didn't work out a deal in February, March, April, May, June, July, August. And here we are in September. Yeah. They would do that. They didn't know what they did.
Starting point is 00:34:20 They've never done that. Right. You think something else is going on that we don't know about? I don't know what's going on, but I just know the other guy. I know I know other coaches don't get have to go through that. Right. Worth. OK. I don't I don't want to make any speculations. Maybe it's me. Maybe it's maybe maybe maybe maybe it's me. Maybe it's me. Maybe it's me. Maybe I, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, who's it? You know who the athletic director is at Michigan?
Starting point is 00:34:46 Because we could always send them a little message. I just I just thought someone starts a job. Right. You have the agreement. OK, here it is thing. Oh, it's already it's already in place. Yes. Who takes a job? And like, OK, here we are. I mean, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, this ain't just any job now. So let's try this.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Put yourself in Mr. Morris shoes. Yeah. If you were in his shoes, are you not taking the Michigan job because a contract has not been fulfilled yet? The contract, Ocho, the contract is worked out before you take the job. That's why you take it.
Starting point is 00:35:21 Okay, but this one hasn't been worked out. Are you gonna say, no, I don't wanna coach for Michigan because the contract hasn't been worked out. Are you going to say, no, I don't want to coach for Michigan because the contract hasn't been worked out? I'm just, I'm just, I just want to see. Oh, I'm just, I'm just asking. Are you not going to take the job because the contract hasn't done yet?
Starting point is 00:35:36 The contract would have been done. There is, first of all, the contract is going to be done before you take the job. Who takes the job with no contract? Oh, Joe. So you're saying you wouldn't take it. Oh, Joe, the contract would have been done before you signed. If I'm just, I'm hypothetically speaking, if you were in his shoes with the opportunity that is presenting itself to coach the Michigan Wolverines and it
Starting point is 00:36:04 wasn't in place. Would you take it or not? You would say, no, my agent would never let me take a job in which the contract would not contract was done. Oh, Joe. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:36:18 That'd be like, that'd be like you said, you know what? I'm gonna get mad with no pre-nut worked out. We gonna work on it at a later date and time. You doing that. Me? You talking to me? Yeah. You talking to me? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:44 Well, but see my situation when you, when it comes to that, using, I mean, for better context, we have, okay, okay, we go get mad. We go work out the contract. We go work out the pre enough. You like, okay, real, we can work out the pre enough at a later date and time. Whatever we go do, we don't work out that a later date and time. Whatever we go do, we're going to work out that a later date and time. And here we are eight months. So you y'all been dating three and a half, four years.
Starting point is 00:37:10 And so now because Ron Morris been there for a minute. He's been the old seat. Right. And so now eight, eight months until your marriage, yeah. Ain't nothing been signed. Ain't nothing been settled. Yeah. That, that, that's me doing that.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Cause I'm going to make sure if she tried to leave me, I'm going, I'm leaving with half. I ain't nothing been settled. Yeah. That's me doing that. Because I'm going to make sure if she try to leave me, I'm going to leave him with half. I ain't signing shit. That's what we, but I'm saying, like I said, I get what you're saying. I get what you're saying. Listen, this ain't no regular program. This ain't just no regular job.
Starting point is 00:37:41 That makes it more egregious. That's the University of Michigan. That's, and that's why, you know what, you know what I think is gonna happen? I think the fact that we're talking about it, I'm sure other people are talking about it as well. When the numbers do come across, we're gonna be like, oh, now we see why it took so long.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Now, they gonna take care of it. He ain't finna get dabble money. He not finna get, he not finna get, he not finna get no, Ocho, ain't no first year coach bout to get no 12 million, stop. Let's bet. Oh Lord.
Starting point is 00:38:09 I bet he get, I bet he hit double digits though. I bet he don't. Bet $100. I bet you 100. Bet $100, okay, bet $100, okay bet, bet. And that, what college, Michigan played already, right? They played last week. Yes.
Starting point is 00:38:26 And they play again. I guarantee you have a contract in place. And I guarantee it is north of 9 million before week three. Oh, first of all, you said it was gonna be double digit. Last I checked nine is not double digits, but okay. I said north, what is north of 9 million? You said double digits. Okay, North of nine million is 10.
Starting point is 00:38:53 But the fact of the matter is that this is a blue blood program. Like you said, it's not some small school. Right, right. This is a preeminent program that probably spend a hundred million, 200 million, have a hundred plus million dollar athletic budget. And you mean to tell me you've had this man working,
Starting point is 00:39:14 recruiting, and he doesn't have a contract? Yeah, you're right. You're right. I guess, listen, I mean, I see it from your point of view. I also see it from another point of view with the opportunity that presents itself at hand, working for this historic prestigious university, knowing they're going to take care of me at some point,
Starting point is 00:39:35 they don't have me present. How do I know that? Why haven't they taken care of me? Because, what do you mean, how do you know that? Cause this ain't 7-Eleven, this ain thing H&M, this is this is the universe. It's up here by now and I know they finna cut that check. Oh Joe, yes, sir. You understand, I totally understand what you mean, though.
Starting point is 00:39:56 I totally do. I promise you I do. I don't know why it's going on. I don't know what they waiting on, but I'm just saying if the opportunity presented itself, if I was Mr. Moore with great understanding that it might not be done now, but I know they're going to make sure. Shoot.
Starting point is 00:40:13 Listen, you think eight months long? I may ask you a question. You think eight months long? How long you think I made? How long? Just not to put my personal business out there. You know, I may Rhea wait nine months before she even could get some. But you think that's long? But how long?
Starting point is 00:40:30 There's no difference. She had to work for that. But what if Rhea had to pay you for sex and say, well, Ocho, I will pay you in eight months. Exactly, you see how you look at me? Yeah, exactly. You're right. Right, now when you put it like that from a contact, because I don't, I don't, I don't lay down for free. You right by there.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Yeah, that's my only thing to outro. I'm like, okay, normally when you like, okay, you come in for a job interview. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Well, how much does the job pay? Okay. What are you? What are my expectations on the job? Yeah. How much does the job pay? Okay, what are you, what are my expectations on the job? What's the job hours? What's the whole, what's the work schedule? Overtime, is that, okay, do I get health benefits? Okay, do I get, you know, PTO? I'll come in with a job, I need CTO.
Starting point is 00:41:18 Choice time off, you know what I'm saying? Don't tell me, hey, don't, hey, time off. I choose to take off. So all those things I'm working out. Okay, Mr. Sharp, you got the me. Hey, don't. Hey, time off. I choose to take off. So all those things I'm working out. Okay, Mr. Sharp, you got the job. Okay, thank you. Well, oh, whoa, I got a job. How much does a job pay?
Starting point is 00:41:34 I understand sometimes like medical, it could take 30 to 60 days before you get medical. I get that. But that ain't taking no damn eight months for me to get no paycheck. Yeah, you right. I don't, I listen. I taking no damn eight months for me to get no paycheck. Yeah, you right. I don't, I listen, I don't, I don't, I'm not familiar with these types of situations
Starting point is 00:41:49 being that I've never been in a position to be a coach or work at a university like Michigan. So I don't know what's going on. I have no idea. Maybe if I was Paul Feinbaum, I'd have a better answer for you, but I don't know. I don't know. But I do think he gonna get paid
Starting point is 00:42:07 and it's gonna be north of 10 million. They're not gonna play with him, especially waiting this goddamn long. Or north of nine million, my bad. Yeah, that's what Harbaugh was making. Nah, Harbaugh was making about 13, 14. Coach Saban was the highest paid. I think Kirby is the highest paid, nine at 12. Who's the highest paid. I think Kirby is the highest paid now at 12.
Starting point is 00:42:26 Who's the highest paid college coach? I think Kirby at 12. Because I think Dab will make like 10, 11. Kirby is at 13. What is the guy in Alabama? He got about 10, right? You got 10. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:57 All right. Oh Joe, Caleb Williams hasn't made his mark in the NFL just yet, but his college legacy is submitted forever. USC announced he's getting his number 13 retired. In his two years at the program, he completed 599 passes, 8,170 yards, 72 touchdowns. It is a tradition for Southern Cal to retire the digits of all Heisman winners. Yeah, Heisman winners.
Starting point is 00:43:23 My former colleague at Fox, Reggie Bush, who recently had his husband reinstated and returned is getting his number five enshrined as well. Congrats Reggie. Well-deserved as exciting of a running back as we've ever seen in college football. Oh yeah. Uh, the NCA did the right thing. They reinstated it, returned his trophy and USC did the right thing. They reinstated it, returned his trophy.
Starting point is 00:43:49 And USC did the right thing. What they do for all their Heisman winners. Yeah. Are their journey. Yeah, that's dope. That's, that's really live. But what happens if you continue to have so many Heisman winners, when you run out of numbers? Hey, Hey, you won't get that number. You ain't getting five. You ain't getting 13. 13. You ain't getting 11. Wait a minute. You're not getting three. You're not getting 33. You're not getting 32.
Starting point is 00:44:10 Carson Ward 3. Did Mike Garrett win the Heisman? Carson Ward 3, right? Carson Ward 3. Carson won the Heisman. Charles White, number 12. You ain't getting that. You ain't getting 11. That's Matt Liner. You ain't getting 32. That's Marcus. 33 is OJ. Well, shit, they ain't had no goddamn numbers left for the damn
Starting point is 00:44:31 players to play in. Shit. Yeah. Huh? Hey, USC had a run. Hey, that was running back you for real. Oh, yeah. Because they were OJ, they were Mike Garrett, they were Charles White, they were Marcus Allen. I mean, like at a 10 year span. Yeah. 11 year span they had four housing trophy winning running backs. And then you get Carson and then you got Matt Liner and then you had Reggie.
Starting point is 00:44:57 Now you got Caleb. Yeah, that's dope. That's live. That's live. I just know one thing. They are running out of jerseys. I think certain players, certain people will go there and want to continue on a tradition of wearing their number from high school and college. I mean, USC wouldn't be a choice to go, especially with some of those single digit numbers
Starting point is 00:45:16 that players like to wear. You can ask the university and the university will ask the players. Clemson retired, Steve Fuller had the number four. Right. Deshaun wanted that. Deshaun asked Steve Fuller had the number four. Sean wanted that. The Sean asked Steve Fuller. He said, I would be honored for you to wear the jersey. Oh, that's dope.
Starting point is 00:45:30 That's dope that you can do that. Now that, now that's a man. He did the same thing when he got to Denver. I think Frank Chapuka wore number eight or 18. They took it down. So somebody want to wear that to a Savannah state? The answer is no. Damn. you're going to tell them no? No. No.
Starting point is 00:45:55 No. That is a joint between Savannah State and Shannon Sharp. Okay. We both have to be at a grids. Okay. But why would you even want that pressure? I mean, if you that boy, listen, a lot of players are picking single digit numbers. And most of the time when I was growing up, if you were a single digit number, you were like that.
Starting point is 00:46:18 You are him. So if anybody trying to do it now in today's game, and I see, especially in college, I see players with single digit numbers and you not him, and you not showing up the way you should be with that single digit on, I'm like, what are we doing? Even before, oh Joe, that number number two, even before they officially retired it, Coach Davis wouldn't even give it out.
Starting point is 00:46:41 They didn't even order the jersey. Right. They wouldn't even order it. Mackie, who was the equipment manager, said, you actually think somebody gonna be worried they're wearing that jersey? He said, long as I'm here, there'll never be a number two.
Starting point is 00:46:54 I think the year after I left, somebody took a picture in it. And Mackie's like, how the hell you get that jersey? He ain't never, so there's only one picture with somebody in number two after after 1989, I was from 86 to 89. After that, out of circulation. And then when they retired it.
Starting point is 00:47:14 Yeah. Oh, no. As it. No, I don't even. Well, first of all, my son would have never, you know, he didn't want he wouldn't he wouldn't even want to wear that. He wanted his own number. he want his own identity. Right.
Starting point is 00:47:27 And I understand that, but no. But it's like I said, a lot of teams, like I said, Deshawn, when he went to Clemson, that number was retired. Steve Fuller, that number was retired. He asked him, he said, yes. Peyton asked the Chabuca family, they said yes. But he got to be somebody- And the Chabuca family, they said, yes. We got to be somebody. He said, no, yeah, is it got to be somebody special coming,
Starting point is 00:47:50 coming out of high school to want to wear a single digit number, to want to wear Caleb's number, to want to wear Reggie Bush's number as a running back or maybe a receiver of some sort, you got to be really, really good coming out to be able to ask and get that permission from them. Whether you're not. they'll probably say no. Ocho, check a look at this. Okay. A dad through a fit saying this generation doesn't care about families when a woman refused to switch seats with him on the plane. Ocho, let's watch the video. Uh oh.
Starting point is 00:48:20 A woman who paid $40 extra for her specific seat on a flight had a dad try to guilt trip her into switching seats. So this woman, named Riley, says she always pays extra to have a specific seat. On this flight, she'd upgraded to a window seat near the front of the plane. While she was settling in, she saw a couple walk over with two kids that were between about the ages of 5 and 10 years old. She felt someone grab her shoulder, and it was the dad in the family. He had learned that no one was sitting in the middle seat of the row
Starting point is 00:48:46 behind Riley. That dad then demanded that Riley moved to the middle seat in the row behind her so that the family could all sit together. But her real concern was that she didn't want to sit between two people, especially after she'd paid extra for the right not to. Because he had the audacity, this made the dad even more upset and he went on a rant about how this generation just doesn't care about families. Riley tuned him out and refused to move. I can see both parts. Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Starting point is 00:49:12 Stay with me. Stay with me now. I can see both parts about wanting to sit with your family. I understand that. I understand that. Now, depending on who you ask, depending on how you ask the individual, especially a father that wanted to sit with his kids, I get that. I understand that. Now, depending on who you ask, depending on how you ask the individual, especially a father that wanted to sit with his kids, I get it. I get that part.
Starting point is 00:49:30 Now, there's certain people that would move even if there were certain people that would move just so someone could sit with their family, because I've done it before. I've done it before. That's why I'm asking you questions. Have you moved to a worse seat? She got a window seat and got to go sit between two people. Well, if you wanted to sit with your family so bad, book the ticket in advance and buy the road.
Starting point is 00:49:50 Yeah, now that I don't like his approach, I don't like his approach to the way he asked. And I'm sure he probably didn't ask in a manner and what she would have thought, you know what? Let me move, even though I have to sit between two people, because he's with his kids. I'm sure it was probably wrong. So you want me to be uncomfortable for the length of the flight so I can accommodate a family.
Starting point is 00:50:18 Hey, you know, listen, some, some people with it, some people ain't. I kind of, I kind of, I kind of't. I kinda see both sides. Okay, Ocho, check this out. I kinda see both sides though, because I've moved on a few flights for families before. But I tell you what, you, okay, a man sitting with his, a man sitting, his wife is in first class.
Starting point is 00:50:39 Yes, sir. He's in coach. He comes, you sitting by his wife in first class, he say, Ocho, this is my wife. You mind if I sit here? I'm in 24. He wants to sit with his family. Hold on. Are you tripping? You do realize that fly on Spirit.
Starting point is 00:50:53 I always sit down. I sit in the extra. Oh, Joe, stop because I booked some flights. OK, so for me, anyway, yes. So anyway, as I was saying, that's that's different. I was no, no, that's not what you saying. People want to sit with their family. I'm asking you, a guy, his coach, you in first class,
Starting point is 00:51:12 his wife is sitting next to you. He says he wants to sit with his wife. You giving up your first class ticket to go back and coach, yes or no? Yeah, I probably would. Man, stop it. I would. I mean, that's just that's just me.
Starting point is 00:51:29 I'm just saying I would, especially if you got a window seat. I don't care. I would let the man sit with his wife. He should have bought that seat if he wanted to sit with his wife. Well, you know, nobody knows. Chat, chat, let me ask you this. How many people purchased a first class ticket, go be willing to give that ticket up to go sit in coach
Starting point is 00:51:52 so somebody in coach can come sit by a family member? Really? I mean, based on the scenario you just gave me, send the next you want to sit with his wife. Yeah, I probably probably move. That day,'s just me. Once I got my earphones and I got my phone and the wifi connected, I don't give a fuck where I'm sitting at, huh?
Starting point is 00:52:13 I'm not giving, listen, the protocol, the normal rule of thumb, in order to get somebody to move, you need to give them a comparable seat or a better seat. You don't ask someone to move from a window or out to a middle seat. Right. Right. Right. You don't ask someone to move first class to coach. Right. Now, I'm not saying if that's what they want to do, but to say, yeah, I know you paid. I know what y'all know what first class tickets cost.
Starting point is 00:52:44 Oh, hey, can you I want to sit next to my wife. Well, you should have bought the ticket, but I bought this one and I ain't moving. That's rude, man. You see how you just said that you see, you see how you just like, I will say it just like that. If you think I'm about to get my black ass up and I know what I paid for first class ticket, if you think I'm about to get my black ass up and give up my first class seat to go sit and coach, bro, do you know how long it's been?
Starting point is 00:53:09 I have missed a flight because the flight, they're like, Mr. Sharp, we have no more first class, but we can get you on this flight and coach. I said, what time the next flight leave? Says leaving in two hours. I said, I'll be right over here in the corner. I'll be right over here in the corner. I'm not doing it. Oh, I wish I'd
Starting point is 00:53:28 buy their first class tickets be $2,000 and $3,000 from here to New York. If you think I'm about to give up that seat. I book us every time I get I look, I want to I want I want to out because I didn't look McKinney's Bay. Right. I got to go to the bathroom. And I don't want to be stepping on people. I want to I want I want to out because I didn't look. McKinney's back. So I got to go to the bathroom and I don't want to be stepping on people. I don't want to put my ass in nobody's face. And I want to put my other private part of nobody's face. Excuse me. Excuse me.
Starting point is 00:53:53 I'm knocking juice down the water. You know, they're folding the table up. I don't want to do that. So I just get my black ass up and go to the bathroom because I got a window seat. I don't do bulkhead. Right. Yeah. You, you didn't get no leg room. Hell no. Yeah. But when I think about it,
Starting point is 00:54:11 and I mean, you, you know me personally, and if you're in the chat, if you follow me throughout the year, just in general, you know how I am. You know, I've, I live a very, very simplistic lifestyle. I don't, I don't really, really care much about it, especially, especially in this, in this scenario, in this case, you know, I,'t really, really care much about, especially, especially in this, in this scenario, in this case, you know, I honestly, all bullshit aside, knowing me,
Starting point is 00:54:30 I would probably move just knowing me, especially on the scenario that you just gave me, not the one we talked about originally on why we talking about the topic, not about the wife and dude sitting in coke. Listen, when I'm on a flight, if I got, if I got wifi and my phone working, I got my headphones, I'm good. Nah, give me, hey, give me what I paid for this seat. I brought this seat to seat with 3000, break brand. Damn, 3000.
Starting point is 00:54:58 Go look up a first class flight on Delta from LA to New York. Look it up, Google it, and see what it costs. It is high, it must have been a holiday. Go look it up and see what it costs. So that's what he gonna have him come out of his pocket with right there, and I still ain't moving. He knew when he got his ass on that flight,
Starting point is 00:55:24 he wasn't sitting next to his wife. They're gonna try to guilt trip you. Hey, excuse me, buddy. You know, my wife is up there. Okay, and I'm gonna keep a company for you. What's her name? Betty? Hey, Betty, how you doing?
Starting point is 00:55:37 Say I'm back there. Hey, I'll tell you what. Oh, so how about this here? How about Betty get her ass up and go sit back? That's a good that's a good that's a good scenario that's a good That's a good scenario Now no, I ain't doing it Now, no, I ain't doing it.
Starting point is 00:56:07 Y'all know good and well y'all wasn't saying, hey, they knew good and well they wasn't sitting together with their goddads on the plane. Yeah, I mean, listen, maybe they bought the tickets in a way where it wasn't as expensive. They found a way to finagle the system. Yeah, and then they're gonna try to finagle me. Yeah. Ain't gonna happen.
Starting point is 00:56:23 Yeah, that's probably what they did. And so is I. I want all my snacks. Cause when they come around with the hot food, Betty, she gonna be yawing, she gonna be getting my plate. Oh no. I ordered a ravioli, ordered breakfast, whatever.
Starting point is 00:56:38 Whatever Shelly D was necessary. I want all that. I want the unlimited snacks too. Cause they come, they keep coming around with all those snacks I get chill Biscoff I get gummies Yeah, yeah, I get the Sun chips and the sea salt chips. No, I ain't giving that up You got oh, hey, I get normally somebody else
Starting point is 00:57:02 They'd be back there and everybody be looking at though them how you get how you get to play the shrimp as be eating as be eating shrimp in front of the people cuz I have I have a flight attendant to take my stuff back yeah and she eat it in front of the people and I wish somebody would be eating a plate of shrimp back there in front of me. I'm gonna knock all that shit down. You gonna eat what I be eating. You gonna get one of those boxes, one of those cheese boxes with salami.
Starting point is 00:57:35 Yeah. Damn. That's what you gonna be eating though. Ash be eating it, don't even care. I'm pretty sure she ain't offering nobody nothing. Cause that's one thing about ash the one thing I tell you about ash appetite yeah she ain't never lost her we the same we go anywhere yeah ash go ash you want some of this? I'll try it. You did more than try, Ash. You ate damn good health, hey. Try it like you take a bite or you get one. You eat half of it or eat four

Starting point is 01:03:18 Hey, you remember Mikey? That's Ash. Let's give it to Ash. Hey, for the series commercial. She'll try it. She'll eat anything. Yeah, that was a good commercial, man. Lil' Mikey.
Starting point is 01:03:29 Man, alright Ocho, now it's time for Q&A. Already? Already. What time, what time, what time is it over there? Almost 11. Oh, oh shit, it's going on two o'clock. Oh, I like this. Hey, see, I'm good though.
Starting point is 01:03:49 See, I took a nap today. So I'm wild. I'm good too. I sent a little video to somebody, so I feel good today. I sent a video to somebody. I was in the other room. He bust out laughing.
Starting point is 01:04:03 I said, man, what you laughing at? What's funny? Ray K out laughing. I said, man, what you laughing at? What's funny? Rick on how I said That's that was totally worth the wait for the first game of the season. Love y'all. I'll shout out to all night Capris Yes, that game was unbelievable. Like I said, if the regular season is anything like the first game Yeah, it came it was very suspenseful Suspenseful came down to the final play of the game. I just read it that Lamar said he thinks that was a touchdown.
Starting point is 01:04:30 The Marta wouldn't touch down, bro. It's for you without his foot was out of bounds. It was out of my I get it. You get that close, but no, it's put without bounds. But Rick, why, man, thank you for the support. Thanks for watching. How many people had to chat? I mean, I think we had support. Thanks for watching. How many people we had in the chat? I mean, I think we had like,
Starting point is 01:04:48 we almost got 40,000. Thank you guys for coming back. Hey good people, congratulations on success of Nightcap. You're approaching the one year anniversary. Anything, any plans to celebrate? We'll there be commemorative 84 merch. I hope liberation is involved in your celebration, blessings and more success.
Starting point is 01:05:06 Yeah, what are we going to do? When is our one year anniversary? October 8th is when we started the channel. So we might come out with some merch. Yeah, sure. Huh? Yeah, we have some confetti. And you know, it might be some giveaways from the old rubies. Uh huh. Yeah, we have some or the drill team, drilling D. You have to be really big like this. Hey, work hard. I'm a nothing like when you like you do something and you work like a plane. Oh, yeah. You know, you work on the plane all week.
Starting point is 01:06:01 You call it a game and that mofo work. Yeah. And that's a great feeling. But you know, like them rubies, they work. Yeah, they work. That's a great feeling. Bad. And it's going to be perfect. It's going to be perfect.
Starting point is 01:06:13 Cause I'm on the road. I'm on the road now to the end of the month. I'm on the road to the end of the month. So when I come back at the end of that road, like boys and men, I need to try. I need to try with them Sparks now. Woo. You got any neighbors?
Starting point is 01:06:31 Nah, nah, they can't, they ain't. They ain't with me, okay. Nah, they ain't with you. Man, they the real deal, they the real deal, Lojo. They the real, they the real. We gonna see what the hype about now. Boy, they ain't. Boy, they get butter from a duck. They get butter from a duck, you know, hey.
Starting point is 01:06:50 Yeah, man. Zach, Ian, say, Uncle Ocho, y'all keep it real. So let's talk about this. Rashid Rice playing the game that called Baltimore non-calls for Kansas City by the ref. The illegal timeout that the Chief DC, is it not obvious the fix were in for Kansas City Big what fix
Starting point is 01:07:14 Fix right now, but I think the thing But only thing I like I mean just I'm gonna get it get it off. I understand Understand what he talking about. There was no fix. There is no goddamn fix. I'm not what I didn't like at the beginning of the game. The refs making it about them. Now, you you gave me a better explanation of why you felt the tackles being set back
Starting point is 01:07:36 a little bit further was an advantage for them. OK, I understand that now. I thought, you know, being a little closer would would be better for them. But you with your explanation, it lets me know that it wasn't. Now that got that irritated me a lot, a lot. It really irritated me because it felt like the rest of making the game about them. Now outside of that, it was a good game, you know, just nitpicking at all the other stuff and timeouts and all this other stuff.
Starting point is 01:08:00 Yes, that's but we'll go ahead and make your point. Yeah. You know what? We're going to come out with a Nightcap starter pack Two sparks grip socks chapstick I like that. You know how they don't joke especially a especially them grip. Well, we listen if we get some nightcap grip socks Boy, that's gonna be funny. Whoo Whoo, that's gonna be funny. Woo, woo. That's gonna be funny.
Starting point is 01:08:29 But them grip socks, but you understand. Hey, we came out with some nightcap boxers. Briefs of boxes. You a brief? But I ain You wear briefs. But I ain't got no choice. Well, we used to call, I don't know what they used to call, but we used to call them jockey shorts. Well, briefs is that's the same thing. Jockey shorts. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:57 Yeah. Right. But I. I wear like I wear like I wear like I wear like compressions. I wear like compressions. That's what I'm talking about. When I think boxes, I think like, I wear like compression. I wear like compressions. That's what I'm talking about. When I think boxes, I think of like the plaid boxes we used to get back in the days from the, from the gas station. Oh, the kind I got on right now.
Starting point is 01:09:15 Yeah, them days over, man. We used to, we used to wear a pair of shorts under your jeans and go to school. Yeah. Man, I had a teammate used had a team that used to play. He used to play in Fruit of the Loons. The draw. Yeah, we go get that we get that night count starter.
Starting point is 01:09:41 Emmanuel of Gunnabay feeling the officiating tonight. I felt there were too many illegal formation calls against the Ravens and too little against the Chiefs. Look, I think normally the first game is really penalized because the teams are trying to figure out what they can get away with. So now what we would do is like, when I tackle the backup, that means I had to back up
Starting point is 01:10:04 because we didn't want it to look so obvious. Because see, Ocho, I like the crowd to bumble. Yeah. I'm trying to crowd it. Tackle it, try to back up. As much as you can. Yes. So I get it.
Starting point is 01:10:19 I think, you know, you go back to the drawing board, whatever the offense, whatever the case may be, you said, OK. Let's back, let's let's back it up a little bit. Hey, why receivers, tidy and help us out. Maybe you all don't cry so much. So it doesn't become so obvious that tackle it so far back. So you just you just play with it because you look. I don't want to get penalized, but I want to see how far I can push the envelope.
Starting point is 01:10:52 Because I'm trying to gain a competitive advantage because of the defensive player, what they try to do, they try to crowd the ball. Yeah. So my job is to like, I'm going to try to look. It doesn't do me no good to crowd the ball and get a kick when they gonna call it back for illegal formation. Every time. I would rather be a little step and slow off the ball
Starting point is 01:11:14 and somebody catch it and we get the play to go as opposed to crowding it. And then we get an illegal formation and it is coming back. Illegal shield, illegal. No, no. So, Emo said, hey, congratulations on everything. You'll know what you're doing. My question is on the Ravens Chief game tonight.
Starting point is 01:11:34 Should Zayev have stopped in the end zone when Lamar threw it, seems like miscommunication. What do you think? Because he doesn't know if the safety is coming. See, the safety was supposed to come. He stopped. He gotta keep going. But Zay doesn't know if the safety is coming. See, the safety was supposed to come. He stopped. He gotta keep going. But Zay doesn't know that, Zay doesn't know,
Starting point is 01:11:49 oh, he stops and let me stop. No, he's trying to, I'm running free. I'd never assume that the guy stopped. Yeah. So no, no, he didn't. Zay did the right thing. Lamar just looked. They'll do a better job of communicating.
Starting point is 01:12:07 But that's what happens. I mean, it's a game is full speed. He doesn't know the guy is he's going to sit down the zone because he's sick. You see him, he stopped. He just stopped. Just stop. And I don't know why he stopped because the guy crossed his face. You got to run through that. Yeah. And I know, I don't think I don't think he should have stopped. because the guy crossed his face, you gotta run through that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:25 And that's, that was, that was. No, no, I don't think, I don't think he should have stopped. Uh-uh. The Dre Maxx show said, is the Chiefs defense legit? Yes. Yeah. They're very good. Still nice. They're very good.
Starting point is 01:12:39 Still nice. Everybody gonna be able to do like Lamar now. First of all, how many quarterbacks can go run, get 15, 16 carries and run for a buck 22? How many quarterbacks gonna be able to do like Lamar now. First of all, how many quarterbacks can go run, get 15, 16 carries and run for a buck 22? How many quarterbacks gonna be able to make the throw that he made the likely, make the throw that he made the basement up the sideline? They very many quarterbacks that make that.
Starting point is 01:12:56 Hell yeah, they good. Very good. It's tough to play a guy like Lamar Ocho, obviously, Ocho, because the thing is, is that your instinct says, go get the quarterback. But if you run past him, he gonna jump out the window. And you see, even the second time, Chris Jones, he bulled the running back, but he went up the edge,
Starting point is 01:13:21 should have bulled straight through him. Cause the last thing I wanna do is give Lamar, Lamar crease. Yeah. Me on that last play, I'm a blessing. Cause the last thing I want him to do is to buy time. Make him make a decision instantaneous. Yeah. Make him.
Starting point is 01:13:38 I got to. Yeah. Yeah. Because you see what happens when you let him buy time. He gonna buy time. He's gonna somebody gonna run around. The guy gonna keep running around and boom. Almost had a chance to score touchdown and get a two point conversion.
Starting point is 01:13:51 But no, the Chiefs defense are legit. Matthew Coughlin says Chief Sahalek was using money he robbed to bet on games. I'm a KC fan and live in KC. Follow the news quite a bit. He was betting on the game. I guess he was traveling probably traveling to the games also old Joe see told you I told you one spending no money on nothing crazy They were gonna be something simple Betting a simple Joe. I mean, you know what I mean when other when most people steal money from banks They go do wild luxurious stuff like yeah, you know, you know, I'm trying to say
Starting point is 01:14:24 you would know You would know, I'm trying to say, you wouldn't know. You wouldn't know what would you have done with the money? If I, if I was, if I was a bank robber, yeah, shoot, I keep living the same life I'm living right now, but there will be signs. Yeah. But what the hell you robbing the bank for? If you go keep living the same lifestyle. I mean, well, I was making millions and millions of dollars
Starting point is 01:14:47 and still living the same lifestyle. I never changed still to this point. Yeah. I mean, they're still small size. You ain't living in Liberty City. Miami ain't Liberty City. You don't live in Liberty City. No, I don't.
Starting point is 01:14:58 I ain't too far. Yeah, you far. You far. That's a whole side of town. Yeah. You know, it's funny when you think about it, though, when you think about the word Liberty City, I think it's a whole different side of town. Everything is gentrified now, man.
Starting point is 01:15:15 Oh, yeah. Everything is gentrified. Yeah. It ain't the same. Charge your arm and leg to get that property. They probably bought the whole house over there for like three. They probably gave them people like three, $400,000 and now them houses, they ain't gonna charge people two, $3 million for those same houses.
Starting point is 01:15:31 Yeah, it's different, man. It's like that everywhere too. Kemper Norwood Jr. asks, who will lead the league in rushing in 2024, 2025 season? Ocho, who you got? C-Mac. You think so? Yeah, yeah, most definitely, most definitely.
Starting point is 01:15:53 I think because Derek Henry and Lamar are gonna be splitting, I hate using this word, saying splitting the carries, but I'm just saying, this is just the build of the offense. I think C-Mac will have more opportunities and have Yeah, see back I mean I would say say I say qualm would be a good choice as well Take some of that pressure off Jalen hurts Yeah, they call me and in say Kwan is special man. I still don't understand how the damn Giants let him go.
Starting point is 01:16:26 That's, that, that, that was weird. What about, what's the guy in, in Indy? Oh, Jonathan Taylor. Yeah. That's a good, that's a good choice. Well, hell, if that's the case, then Breece Hall is a good choice too. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:42 Good Jonathan Taylor and Breece Hall can hit their head off the goalpost from anywhere on the field. Right. But see, I think the thing is that you still have a young quarterback, so he's gonna probably get a little more carries than Bruce Hawkins. Ah, that's right.
Starting point is 01:16:53 But I do understand and I like the direction that you were heading in. Yeah, to get the ball out of his hands. That's a good one. Go ahead. Nah, I was just saying to get the ball out of Anthony Richards' hands. Kevin Roberts, hey, Ugg and Ocho, not all players have legacies.
Starting point is 01:17:07 What accomplishments are required to be considered a legacy player? Who are some of the fringe legacy players playing now? Is Ocho, is Sterling, much love? That's a you question. I mean it definitely helps if you won. If you're a good player on a championship team, they'll never forget you. They'll never forget you, Ocho. Even though our offense wasn't that great in Baltimore, we won a Super Bowl. That we
Starting point is 01:18:01 still gonna be special. Especially the guys that they know. I mean, obviously they're going to make Joe, J-O because J-O is in the hall of fame. He's one of the greatest left tackles and one of the greatest offensive linemen to ever play. But guys like myself and Jamal and Trent, Codrigy, Jermaine, guys that they like recognize. But then you go to that defense
Starting point is 01:18:24 and everybody on the defense is over there. They, they know everybody. They know everybody. Goose is Sam and Rob and McCrary and Pete and Shug and Jamie, sugar. I mean, uh, uh, Woody, McAllister. They, they, I mean, when you dealAllister, Ben Bate. I mean, when you deal with it, it's kind of like the steel curtain. You know everybody on the steel curtain. You know everybody on Legion of Boom. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:53 You know it, Ocho. The greatest show on tour. You know Warner. You know Oz, Oz the King, Isaac Bruce. And Tory Holt, and Revanite. Marshall. Yeah, I think it varies for team to team, player to player. But when you play well in a city that breeds the live, sleep football like I did in Denver.
Starting point is 01:19:32 Avalanche of one Stanley Cubs, the Nuggets have not won. It's a bronco country. For reason. Now, it'd be tough in Boston because you got the Red Sox, for a reason. Now it'd be tough in Boston, because you got the Red Sox, you got the Bruins, you got the Celtics.
