NFL chains the rules this year to drive a limiting team to eight months. minutes between first round pick, it used to be 10. At one point, it was 15, if I'm not mistaken, right?

It went from 15 to 10, 9s down to 8. What y'all on the clock for? Y'all had down the five, y'all had a whole year to evaluate these players. You had the senior bowl, you had the pre, you had the combine, you have all this stuff. You don't need all that time. You're wasting time. And you know what? The first three teams, they don't even need it.

You're right. They don't need eight minutes because they already know who you're picking, especially the first team. The Raiders know they pick in Mendoza. There's no need to waste a whole eight minutes. But what? For theatrics? Yeah.

The first, hey, as a matter of fact, get the first pick of the draft, you get five. Because you already know if you want to trade, you're already going to talk tonight. Ain't nobody gets all of a sudden just jumped on the damn plots if you want to trade.
