Alavi said he contemplated retirement from football last season after sustaining several concussions.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Alavi missed the final eight games of 2024 season after he was transported back to Bank of America Stadium on the backboard following a hit to the head against the Panthers that put him on concussion protocol for the second time in three weeks. It was the fourth known concussion of his NFL career. Alavi said it was a tough time last year. I'm only 24 years of old, 24 years of age, and contemplating retirement, especially with my head injuries. But I prayed about it. My fam, my close fam, was around me. They stuck by my side, and I give it another try, another chance, and it's been a great year. Alavi has 1,04 receiving yards through 15 games this season.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Hey, is, what are you going to say? No, I was, I was saying, oh, yeah, it's tough, man, you did. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Listen, those concussions, they can do something to you now. It can do something to you because you want to be out there, you want to be out there playing. You want to be at their performing, you know? But obviously today is what we know what Chris Oliva could do.
Starting point is 00:03:59 He did it at Ohio State. So for me, it feels good to see him, have a game like today because I know we can do it. And when you have games like this, Uncle does some to your confidence. It has you hungry for more and you start believing in yourself. Well, hell, okay, I can do it. Have concussion after concussion. I'm injured. I'm missing time.
Starting point is 00:04:21 But when you go out there and you put together a performance like this, damn i had 10 catches damn i had two touchdowns damn i had 148 yards well maybe i can do it well we saw what he did his rookie year ojo yeah mm-hmm so we we know he can do it but that's look i i was close to somebody my brother had to was forced to retire 29 yes yes a catch 18 touchdown in the season and at 29 and never stepped foot on the field again yeah that's tough uh you know i was dealing with ankle injuries and i asked like damn because man, injury sucks.
Starting point is 00:04:59 It's hard to go out there and play Ocho and I'm having to shoot up. I can't practice. And you have an off-season surgery so you rehabbing just to give yourself a chance and it's like, man, come on, man. I know I didn't work all my life to get in this position and now I was like, oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:05:15 I can just imagine because the ankles are nothing compared to concussion because we know what that could potentially lead to, especially now later on in life. Man, I'm so glad this young man was able to, I pray that he's able to continue to
Starting point is 00:05:34 play at the level in which he's playing at. Yes, sir. Ocho, Tyler Shook, been dealing. A. 32 or 49, 308, a touchdown. Crystal Lobby had 10 for a buck, 48, and 2. Juan Johnson had 8 for 89. Taysam Hill had 4 for 46.
Starting point is 00:05:52 He dealing. Yeah, he did you all. He dealing. Like, hey, he was up there shuck and jiving the first time they put it in here. Yeah. But, hey, they might have found their guy. You think so? They might have found their guy.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Hey, I promise you, they're not taking another quarterback. Because the thing is, once they, look, they like, they had Spencer Rattler. Yes, sir. They took, I think they took shook in the second round, right? I think they took him in the second round on, Joe. okay based on the way he's played right especially these last think about Ocho come from behind where to beat Carolina you saw what he did today he's showing you yeah let him get all the reps let him take all the reps let's give him a couple of more yeah let's see if we
Starting point is 00:06:43 could add some some pieces around him let's improve the offensive line man they sack man And they sacked a cook eight times yesterday. Cam George, man, Cam Jordan still playing. He had two sacks, three times of a loss. Oh, Cam. Chase Young had a sack. Chase Young has filed a new life. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:07:08 But now, Tyler Shook has played, he's played phenomenal, man. He's playing well. He's playing really well. Mm-hmm. But listen, he's playing well. I'm not sure if Saints fans would really consider him as the quarterback of the future. I just I don't I don't think so you think they're going to take a quarterback this year yeah listen I mean he played well sparingly in games I just don't think he's the answer
Starting point is 00:07:33 for them a long term oh Joe boy you you keep on thinking everybody go go for out of Patrick ball oh well listen I mean are you trying to compete or not I mean are you trying to compete or not you know having to having a string of two or three games ain't enough to say, okay, this is our guy. And it's just not. I'm curious. Look, I think he comes, I think, I think, if he finishes out this, you're strong.
Starting point is 00:08:06 If they take a quarterback, maybe they take one round five or six. Right. I don't think they take one early. I think they're now, they look for put pieces around him. Oh, sure, they need a running back. They need a running back. what's called on our avicamara yeah so i think they look for a running back i i see i approved the offensive line maybe they go get a corner um uh because the d i'd be you know
Starting point is 00:08:36 what you call them is still playing at a cam jordan is still cam jordan how many sacks cam jordan got said cam jorne probably going to make the pro bowl chase young has found life in new orleans Mm-hmm. I just knew, I just, Chase Young is what I, Miles Garrett is what I thought Chase Young was going to be also. When he, when he came out, remember, remember he got hurt, that injury, that they,
Starting point is 00:09:06 that, yeah, he tore his ACL, I think his second year. Yeah, that, that is just, that is the most demoralizing injury, and it changes everything. It changes everything for you. how many chase uh yeah you know but also when you young like that now he had that thing 30s but he was probably like 22 yeah he was a baby you know also man you know you know you know you bounce you bounce back different so damn quick you like a damn ball yeah
Starting point is 00:09:39 wasn't them super ball you remember the oh jo you remember them hard balls they used to have that you bounce you're throwing on the thing and that thing damn to touch this guy What are you talking about What kind of ball was that? Yeah Nah Yeah, y'all remember those balls I don't know whether the Super Bowl
Starting point is 00:09:58 But they were They were about this big round And it was, man, you throw that thing on the ground Man, that thing bounced so damn high It'd be out of sight Yeah Was it called a super ball Rubble ball? What was it called?
Starting point is 00:10:12 Might have been a bouncy ball I'm gonna have to look it up Dang. But congratulations, Chris O'Blobby for bouncing back after a very, very tough season, contemplating retirement. But this is the way to, hey, this is the way to let you know you made the right decision. 10 for a buck 48, two touchdowns, and now you're over 1,000 yards in the regular season. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:35 The Jets are the first team in NFL history to not have an interception in 15 consecutive games, Ocho, two more games, and they could possibly go an entire season. With no interception. Has that ever happened before? Also, if they don't get an interception, the next two games, they'll be the first time in the history. Of the NFL? That nobody's got, they haven't gotten interception all season long?
Starting point is 00:11:04 Not one. Not one. Hey, hey, hey, y'all, hey, hey, gee, you skate go to McGa. Who that? Who that? They fired Steve Will. Oh, Steve, oh, Mr. Wilkes. You trade his two best players, and you're surprised that you get to hell beat out you
Starting point is 00:11:20 at last week in Jacksonville. Right. You see Jacksonville just put 34 points on a defense that's really, really good on the road. Yeah. And then you go, and then you, I mean, and then you go, you're scoring sick. I mean, come on now. Yeah, you're right. So you trade Quinny and you trade sauce, your two best players on defense,
Starting point is 00:11:39 and you expect to get better how. Yeah, after, hey, hey, hey. and you can you can hear that uh-uh man new kids running crazy man it's 1 30 in the morning so i think i think at worst case scenario tyler shook bought him another he bought himself another year absolutely absolutely and obviously obviously the saints fan they're going to believe in him because he's playing well um me as a receiver looking at the quarterback
Starting point is 00:12:14 looking at knowing what it should look like having a franchise quarterback for the next decade and you said it right it's not not your Joe Burrow it's not your Josh Ali's not your Patrick Mahomes but maybe he is just good enough where they can build around them and have success mm-hmm JJ McCarthy gets injured again
Starting point is 00:12:36 Ocho but the Vikings hand to jazz their ninth loss in a row Minnesota wins 1613 McCarthy exit the game before halftime and back up Max Brosmer helped the Vikings win their third game in a row. I mean, didn't Jay McArthur get hurt in college? He missed his entire rookie season. He's been in and out of the lineup this year. I was surprised that they took him that high
Starting point is 00:13:07 because he was a guy that didn't really run the foot. They didn't really throw the football when he's in college. They ran the football. They were running team. Yeah, Michigan run the ball. right down your throat um damn on y'all
Starting point is 00:13:23 jackson dart was seven or 13 for 33 yards yeah you didn't know that I was able to I was able to watch this one I was just I was trying to make sure Jay JJJ got what why y'all still up Superball I thought so yeah
Starting point is 00:13:44 Hi. How you doing? What? Y'all supposed to be in the bed. Santa Claus is going to bypass y'all. Last time, last time, we, um, we sit up to 3 a.m. yesterday. Yeah, Santa Claus, Santa Claus, he can't come by. He can't let y'all see it.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Y'all stand up until 3 o'clock. Santa Claus like, nah, I'm going to bypass this house. You ready to go to bed? No, he's not tired. No. Who'd you playing Roblox? Okay, say hi to the chat. Say hi, Chad.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Hi, Chad. Hi, Chad. How y'all doing? Yeah. All right. Stop jumping. Who are, whoever, they're jumping. Stop jumping.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Yeah. French Frye. Stop jumping up and down. Boy? Boy? Hey, what's up, everybody? Daniel Jeremiah here. And I'm Bucky Brooks.

We kick things off with Brian Baudinger, breaking down, but really went down on Sunday. It is as good a timing rhythm offense as there is in the league right now.
Starting point is 00:15:05 Then Rhett Lewis joins us for our rookie draft and coordinator of the week, where we highlight the rising stars and the masterminds calling the shots. DJ talked me into a Ronde Gadsden Jr. He had a monster game. A monster game. And you hear from the voices who actually build the game. GMs, coaches, and players who give you insight you won't get anywhere else. High standards and high care. That's the right combination. Starting point is 00:16:59 right now? Everything's going to be okay on the other side, you know, just push through it. And, you know, ironically, the root of the word spirit is breath. Wow. Which is why one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as peoples just breathe. Next to the wound is their gifts.
Starting point is 00:17:18 You can't even find your gifts unless you go through the wound. That's the hard thing. You think, well, I'm going to get my gifts. I don't want to go through all that. You've got to go through the wounds you're laughing. Listening to other people's near-death experiences, and it's all they say.
Starting point is 00:17:29 In conclusion, love is the answer. Listen to Sacred Lessons as part of the My Coutura Podcast Network, available on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, y'all, it's me, your man, M.G. Starting point is 00:17:58 We break down every matchup, give you our analysis and advice so you know who to start, sit, drop, to bring that championship trophy home. I just want to remind everyone how good Rishie Rice was last season. And there's three healthy games. He was the wide receiver 2 in fantasy. I think Rishie Ryshe goes off this week. The Chiefs come on a flip pass to Rice. Near side, touchdown!
Starting point is 00:18:20 Remandre Stevens is my sleeper this week. This is a matchout where I think I can slide in Stevenson into my flex position and he could deliver double-digit points this week. Drake takes the snap, hands it off. Remodry running it right and running into the end zone. Touchdown! It's never too late. to turn your fantasy season around.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Subscribe to the NFL fantasy football podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Boy, I know if a certain quarterback played an entire game and had a Selma 13 for 33 yards. Right. You know they're going to give him grace though, huh?
Starting point is 00:18:56 You know they're going to give him grace because he's a rookie. What the hell you're facing? Oh, I ain't even call his name. we're going to leave that alone leave along uh oh man they sacked them five times they picked them off once mm-hmm it was a bad day it was a bad day for him over there jonathan allen had oh jonathan allen who was former uh washington commander had a sack levi drake warriguez had a sack van ginkle had a sack wilson had a sack
Starting point is 00:19:29 Redmond had a sack. Van Grinkle. Were they rent, look. They don't have to figure this thing out. Minnesota needs a lot, look. Because as a right now, I don't know how we can count on, I don't know how we can count on J.J.
Starting point is 00:19:48 McCarthy. He missed an entire year and he's been ending in and out of the lineup in the second year. Hey, it's hard to build a team. It's hard to build a team. Hey, it's hard to build a team around a quarterback.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Right. You don't know when and if he's going to play. That's tough. That's tough. Injuries happen. Burrow, Lamar, I think, but now Pat, I mean, had Josh Allen, had Josh Allen never been hurt? He's always available, huh?
Starting point is 00:20:25 Yeah, yeah. And he plays a little reckless too now. Yeah. But he's built different, though. He's a big dude, he's a big dude, man, 245, 250. Yeah, he's a big dude. I mean, because think about it, Ocho,
Starting point is 00:20:39 Cam didn't miss no games. He did. Be camp, Cam missed that one game when he flipped his damn truck. Oh, that's right. Yeah, did the day we keep played. That's right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:53 So it wasn't until, I mean, early in his career, it wasn't until later in the career right that he missed him game I mean I don't know what the Giants they got to look um they completed seven passes
Starting point is 00:21:09 in a game mocho seven passes and Juan Dale Robinson had three the longest completion the lead receiver had 19 yards damn I want to see I I mean, I forget what somebody just went crazy for the Giants not long ago.
Starting point is 00:21:33 We had on, didn't we have them on the show? Oh, Waddell Robinson. Yeah. Well, he went, and he went snap ass off. And that's what I don't like. When you have a receiver, have a game like that, you go back to the well. If you need water, you go back to the same well you did before. But wasn't it, wasn't it, uh, uh, Jameson that he went crazy with?
Starting point is 00:21:55 I mean, excuse me. James, wasn't it, James the quarterback that he went crazy with? Damn, that's a good one. I'm not sure. Yeah, Jackson Dart might have been out. You know, I think I don't remember. Seven for 13?
Starting point is 00:22:17 I guess, when you watch it like seven, eight games, and you know, you try to like, okay, what games are we going to, what games should I be focusing on? Yeah. And you look up and you're like, well, damn, and complete again. Okay, Giants punt in the ball. Y'all got your work cut out for you, Giants.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Oh, yeah. Fixing that. Hold on, not only fixing that, they still need a head coach. What coaches want to go, wants to go into that job, understanding all the issues that need to be fixed? I want to be a head coach.
Starting point is 00:22:49 No matter what? Yep. And even knowing you probably got two, three years, you might be fired again? Texas extended winning streak to seven thanks to a 2321 victory over the Raiders C.J. C.J. Stroud threw a touchdown pass. Derek Stingley returned an interception for a score
Starting point is 00:23:11 and the Texans beat the Vegas Raiders and set them to a ninth straight loss. Hey. Anybody had the Raiders on their schedule this year? You might as well, it's the W. Now, listen, if it was week one, it's different. Teams aren't into their own yet. Anything after week, week two, week three and on,
Starting point is 00:23:38 you got the ratings on your schedule. It's a win. Yeah. Gino made some plays. Yeah, yeah. Brock Bowers. Brock Mason plays. Gino was 16 or 23, 201, two touchdowns.
Starting point is 00:23:52 We're going to say, Ashton Genty ran the H out of the ball. 24 for a buck 28 one touchdown long of 51 and then he had a pass one catch 60 yards touchdown yeah he was wrong powers had another touchdown um they were putting they were putting points up today CJ missed some easy throws Nico Collins had four for 49 59 Christian Kirk had three for 37 Shultz had five for 35 but it's that defense man they they they they get out of And Will Anderson, Jr. and Barnett, they can get after you. And then you got that back end with Petrie and Stingley Jr. and Lasseter.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Mm-hmm. And that back end is really good. Really? Really good. Really good. Bullock. But look, the Raiders, hey, they made it closer than what I thought. But I think now, hey, everybody trying to get the number of,
Starting point is 00:24:55 pick it seems like uh uh you know reading the thing that everybody seemed to want mendoza the quarterback out of i ucho so hey it seemed like everybody tried to position themselves to get that number mendoza that's what it seems that's what it seems to be eh uh the raiders got two wins how many wins did the giants have four am i right or am i wrong so so who's in the running for the number one pick overall. The Giants and who? Excuse me, the Raiders and who? The Giants and Raiders have two wins.
Starting point is 00:25:33 The Koreans and Brown and East Jacks have three. Yeah, I ain't winning no more. I thought it was four. Oh, Joe, I ain't winning no more. No. Nope. Well, hold on.
Starting point is 00:25:46 As a player, I'm trying to win. I'm, hey, that ain't got nothing to do with me. Guess what? Ain't no guarantee that I'm going to be here when we get good. So I'm trying to win right now. I'm trying to increase my value. So, hey, if I'm not here, somebody goes like, okay, there's value in Shannon. So as a front office, as a front office, I'm telling you how they're thinking.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Right. I'm trying to get the best. I'm trying to get as high draft pick as I possibly can because I'm trying to, you know, I'm trying to win for the future. This year's lost. Right. this year's gone now when you talk about that draft pick then now there are two teams that have that have two wins and there are three teams that have three wins hold on four teams that have
Starting point is 00:26:29 three wins so the giants are not taking a quarterback no so is there any chance that the raiders take a quarterback yes okay okay do you think there's a quarterback in the draft that's going to make a difference that can do better than what they already have right now i think they look i'm just asking they believe mendoza is the guy i'm just telling you though what okay all right i like it i think the car look i think the cardinals will take a quarterback calimer is not coming back yeah you know that i know that i know that yeah We understand that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Tennessee's not taking a quarterback. They have their quarterback. Oh, wow. They got mock draft. They got the Arvo Reese, linebacker Ohio State. First overall, the Raiders taking Mendoza. Second, overall.
Starting point is 00:27:38 The Brown's taking Dante Moore. Third overall. Jets taking safety Caleb Downs. Fourth overall. Spencer Fano. All tackle, Utah, Cardinals, Ruben Bain Jr., Eds, Russia, Miami, Tennessee. He's nice. Jordan Tyson, wide receiver, Arizona State, Washington, the commanders.
Starting point is 00:27:59 Jeremiah Love, running back, Notre Dame, Saints, Francis Muwaga, Mauga, Maui, that's Maui. Yeah, that's Mausa. Magawa. O.T. from the University of Miami, Ocho, the Bengals. Carnell Tate, wide receiver, Ohio State. Where? The guppies. The Miami?
Starting point is 00:28:26 Okay. So, as the way it's written up now, the Raiders and the Browns taking a quarterback. Mendoza to the, Mendoza to the Raiders and Dante Moore to the, The Ducks. Hey, what's up everybody? Daniel Jeremiah here.
Starting point is 00:28:59 And I'm Bucky Brooks. If you love breaking down football from every angle, you're in the right place. Every week on Move the Six, Bucky Brooks and I dive deep into the game from the X's and O's to the front office moves shaping the league. Which is why one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as peoples just breathe. Next to the wound is their gifts.
Starting point is 00:31:33 You can't even find your gifts unless you go through the wound. That's the hard thing you think, well, I'm going to get my gifts. I don't want to go through all that. You've got to go through the wounds you're laughing. Listening to other people's near-death experiences, and that's all they say. In conclusion, love is the answer. Starting point is 00:32:22 I just want to remind everyone how good Rishie Rice was last season. And there's three healthy games. He was the wide receiver 2 in fantasy. I think Rishie Rice just goes off this week. The Chiefs come on a flip pass to Rice. This side, touchdown! Remandre Stevens is my sleeper this week. This is a matchout where I think I can slide in Stevenson
Starting point is 00:32:40 into my flex position, and he could deliver double-digit points this week. Drake takes the snap, hands it off, Romero, running it right, and running into the end zone. Touchdown! It's never too late to turn your fantasy season around. Subscribe to the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. So, B. John Robinson led the Falcons to a second straight win
Starting point is 00:33:03 with a 2619 victory over the Cardinals. Five and six and nine with the second straight week, both coming on the road. They won three of the last five bouncing back after a five-game losing streak derailed their season. Cargles Falcons. Bejard was toting it. Hey, he's special, boy. That's another one. It's about two or three, two or three, you know, in that Christian McCaffrey, Sequin,
Starting point is 00:33:36 Bijon. Yeah, Gives is in there too. James Cook can do it a little bit. Oh, yeah. You know, well, you're such a, you're so valuable offensively because you can do so much more than just run the ball.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Yes, yes. So valuable. I just want to get it to you. Yeah. I know good things will happen if I get you the ball. Yeah. Not only get it to you,
Starting point is 00:33:57 but get it to you in space as well. Boy, makes all, makes, makes call and play so much easier. Oh, yeah, when you got special guys, it absolutely does. Mm-hmm. God damn, and I know the Cardinals lost, but every goddamn game they do. Moe, Noah.
Starting point is 00:34:17 People say, somebody say, that's how you said. Mowie Noah. Hey, Poe, get in there. Mowie Noah. But Bejohn, A. What do you have? Cousins was 21 to 35, 197, two touchdowns. Al Jare had 16 carries for 79.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Bijon had 16 for 76, 37 Russians 152. Bejohn had seven, seven catches for 92 yards, had a long of 41. Kyle Pitt, Sr. had another nice day, seven for 57 of the touchdown. Jacoby Broussett had 60, was 16 of 31. 21, 203, one touchdown, one of the deception. Michael Carter had 11 for 65.
Starting point is 00:35:12 Man, I don't know how Michael Wilson caught this ball. Did you see that catch he made? Nah. Man, Ocho, he made a call, they called it, they called it incomplete. They reviewed it. Touchdown. Hold on, was it more difficult than the one game, games, Gainesville court? Yes, because they thought he hit the ground.
Starting point is 00:35:33 He, he, he did a somersault and everything. And the ball, you remember that one that Tyreek had against the Broncos, but they said incomplete and Andy Reid asked Tyreek, did he catch it? Carreik said no, but the replay showed that he did catch it. It was just like that. Oh, yeah, 32 yards. It was unbelievable. It was unbelievable catch, unbelievable concentration. Um, but Bijan was special today and he was supposed to have 136 yards.
Starting point is 00:36:02 He had a 168 yard. I'm trying to think who's going to be in the so Gibbs and Bijan yeah that's thus far the running back you think they take you think Seinquine going to the Pro Bowl because Gibbs and Bijan Bijon are locked oh no
Starting point is 00:36:25 Sequine ain't going Christian McCaffrey Christian McCaffrey being quiet you think you're NFC no James Cook Jonathan Taylor and probably what you call him Derek Henry for the AFC
Starting point is 00:36:41 Christopher about to go a thousand thousand oh cho oh yeah oh he is he yeah he don't how many catches this he on pace yeah
Starting point is 00:36:51 yeah He has 820 Russian receiving how many Russian he got 922 Russian how many catches he got like 80 catches doesn't he? Oh that's crazy as a running back man. 80 plays tomorrow. Also he got 86 catches who they play the coast tomorrow? Yes. Hey, I can't wait to see old Philip Rivers, man. I'm listening to Isch out of Phillip Rivers.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Yeah, make him uncomfortable, huh? Yeah, yeah. Shoot, but you gotta be, you gotta be careful now. Now, you know, you know, feel. Oh, I was gonna be close. Sequine's already over 1,000. Sequine got a thousand 72. Jumeer Gibbs is a lot.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Automatically. He's a lock. Okay, how many yards does Bejohn have? because Bejohn is more like he's more in the line of that Christian McCaffrey yeah Bejohn has 1250 so he's going so now it's probably going to come down to Sequin and uh and Kristen McCaffrey
Starting point is 00:38:14 you know most of the time it's a popular it's a popularity contest too on you know that Christian McCaffrey had the fan vote you know when the votes came out yeah But Bejohn, he looked good today. Well, he looked good all the time, but he just today. And the thing that's working in Gibbs' favors, Gibbs got yards and touchdowns.
Starting point is 00:38:45 He'll score machine. Ocho, Titans not garnered you out of the game. End 11 game home skid, beating the Chiefs 26 to 9. The Titans approved to 3 and 12. 1 in 7 at home this season, ending the skid that matched the franchise worth since moving to Tennessee in 1997.
Starting point is 00:39:01 they lost 11 straight in 2014 and 15 a stretch that also featured coach fired early in the second season and finished with an intern Sunday was the first home win since November 3rd of 2024 reports are early indication is that Minchu toward his ACL as well well god damn yeah man that sucks man like that's horrible that's that's that's horrible luck that this horrible luck man i'm i'm i'm really frustrated man all these players keep getting hurt man i'm i mean there's no there's nothing i can do i mean i'm just saying it's not just anybody i mean it's some of the better players not that i'm saying other players are not as important but just just to see some of the some of the players that that we all look for the tuning in to see
Starting point is 00:39:50 get hurt man it is it's sickening dude and i and i hate that for them i hate it for the teams i hate it for the fans for the people you know it's just dog man that's crazy man yeah it's going to be uh it's going to be this team kansas city is going to look really really different next year ojo who hold on i forget next year who the hell is going to be the quarterback now uh i'm sure they're going to try to find somebody. Ola DeCon filled in. He was 11 to 16 for 11 11 11 yards. He got sacked.
Starting point is 00:40:33 What did you call him? Got him for safety. Jeffrey Simons. Yeah, Big Jeff. Yep. Yeah, Big Jeff. Big Jeff say he want to come on down in Cincinnati, too, right? No, he didn't say that.
Starting point is 00:40:43 Yeah, he didn't. I'm saying it for him. Hey, big, hey. I don't let they go give him up on Joe. Oh, they ain't got, they ain't going to have no choice. They ain't going to have a choice. If anybody know Jeffrey Simmons, send him this message, man,
Starting point is 00:40:58 you know, a clip, I don't know, I don't know what they call it, clip this, Jeffrey Simmons, come on down to Cincinnati in the off season.
Starting point is 00:41:06 I don't know who your agent is. But come on down here, man. I know you want to, you want to join the winning side. If you decline and choose not to join and don't respond to me, I just had to beat you up. And I don't think you really want that.
Starting point is 00:41:22 All right, we're going to get out of here on this one. It's time for our final segment. The evening is time for Q and A. Gold standard Ravens playing like non-gold LeBron did in the finals against the Mavericks. Damn. They're looking real bad right now, bro. Vonte, the King, Unk, why are you talking? You can't say foot.
Starting point is 00:41:48 ball, game, or exhibition. Say you saw athletes on TV. Nothing at all. You're going to put some respect on my team. Hashtag Jags, hashtag BTA, bra hashtag Bronco pack. All right, Bonte. All right now.
Starting point is 00:42:04 Remember this. Remember this. El Prade 98. Hey, Ocho, I was listening to some oldies today. It's an oldie today groups like the Independence, Paradise. And my question for you guys is, What's your favorite old school singers from those times? Hmm.
Starting point is 00:42:28 I'm Manhattan's. I like the stylistics. What would you know about? Tavares. OJ. Yeah. You know, the 70s was the era of 70s and in the early 80s was the era of the big bands. The shot lights.
Starting point is 00:42:43 Yeah, you had the Ohio players. You had Earth, Red and Fire. You had the barcades. You had Lakeside, you had a heat wave. Cooling the grain. Cooling the grain. You had a Casey in the Sunshine band. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:57 You said Atlantic Star yet? Atlantic Star, yes, yes. Ooh, that's a, that's some good music, boy. Oh, yeah. But that, I'm talking about and still resonates today. That's what, that's real music. And then that's no disrespect to the music that's being made today. But that is what we call time.
Starting point is 00:43:18 music. Yeah, the whispers, the spinners, the Isley brothers. Man, let's just kiss and say goodbye. Ah, man, let's go on. Come on, go to him. Don't do it to him. Don't do it to him. King O'Vang.
Starting point is 00:43:35 Why they didn't play Henry on that final drive before New England scored. I just don't get it. Henry scored and you don't play it. Make it make sense. I wish I could tell you, bro. I wish I could tell you. Uh, Christine Noriega, Pittsburgh Steelers, here we go.
Starting point is 00:43:55 I see, y'all looking good, man. I know one thing, that defense looked like the highest paid defense in the goddamn league tonight, today. Mm-hmm. Yes, they did. Uh, uh, LeVar four, Ocho, I know you have a thousand jobs already, but could you please add being Ravens receiver coach next year to your resume? Zay, God, no, Raven, dang it.
Starting point is 00:44:17 But y'all don't need no, y'all don't need me as a receiver coach. You just need the players that play receiver to know when the journey is over. That's it. It's really simple. Just make a business decision. I know you want to make plays. I know you, you know, you got that, you know, you got them feet and you just, hey, live the play another down. Sometimes you got to do that, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:44:41 Mr. Jet Live 27, oh, you really got people that wake up every Sunday just to comment something negative in your chat. You definitely made it. Appreciate that, Mr. Met. Dr. Frank L. Bellamy. Oh, Dach said, when y'all come over to watch the Super Bowl with us, don't forget the chili and three bags of ice. Love y'all.
Starting point is 00:45:00 Doc, hello. I thought y'all was the boys. Hey, you remember Doc? I was about to go on this run. Oh, Doc was feeling real good. Oh, yeah. Damn, Doc, now you want me to bring, you want me to bring ice, you want me to bring cups, you want me to bring chips.
Starting point is 00:45:15 Damn. If we're going to watch the Super, I thought we were going to be at the stadium. We could have ordered that for the suite. We could have gotten that to the suite. You'd be saying we're going to be watching it from home? Damn. London, D.R. I know we still pulled it out,
Starting point is 00:45:35 but can you please talk about the egregious that no call on the passing offense with three minutes left? Which game? Which game? That's what I'm saying. I don't know. Uh, 1988, uh, love you, but I need you to admit my Jags put foots in you. Y'all got us, man, damn, I said that.
Starting point is 00:46:01 Hey, he mad, he man, he man, he man, whoa, whoa, whoa, don't, don't, don't, hey, calm down. Calm down. It's, it's gonna be all right. Bro, y'all won five games. who the bingos well they got it that don't got nothing to do with tonight we it's not about what we won we won today we all got y'all last year to get the win total we got right now that's fine we'll beat y'all right now with a healthy team no y'all won't you don't want to get Joe we're not going to look i don't want to get Joe hurt again having me look listen listen listen
Starting point is 00:46:39 stop trying to deflect y'all lost today that's all that matters you lost we lost oh you lost oh chope lost your guppy's lost too that's fine cincinnati won so it all balance out and you know hey home hey both your team's lost you're talking you're talking with a little bit a little bit too much confidence you got too much in your chest for both of your teams that would be losing the night yeah y'all had me drinking a night man i was on this i was on this leportier
Starting point is 00:47:08 Mr. M.J. 70, LaSault, I'm starting to believe it. Lamar ain't it. Look at y'all. He got to get healthy. He ain't healthy right now because he can't run. And he still has to put fear in people with his legs. And right now he can't do that because they know he can't run. That hamstring is not all the way healthy.
Starting point is 00:47:35 Red Hood, 63.78. It's been, it's been time. Mike should have been the Ravens head coach. Harbaugh needs to go. Lamar asked out either way something has to change. It does. It does. Something's got to change.
Starting point is 00:47:57 Mr. Jet Life said the real problem is the same problem as the Eagles have. They thought the league was going to just let their running back run for 2000 again. Lazy offense. I trust an umbrella in a hurricane. before I trust 77 to block. I agree, bro. It is, ooh. I don't think he did that bad today, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:48:24 Hey, they got the hiding, monk. Yeah. They got the hiding. True and infamous, Cowboys' offense in the second half went flat faster than the tie and the defense couldn't stop incentives with a period. embarrassing. They did.
Starting point is 00:48:40 They did. But the defense's been bad all year. You win a couple of games and, you know, hey. Everybody thought everything was fixing. It's just hard to overcome when one side of the ball is that bad. Be an offense or defense, it's just hard for you to overcome that inept level of play. Dutch from the down, Dutch from down the way, Ocho Elgado. And what's up up?
Starting point is 00:49:04 Let me ask you a question, your voice. all I want to know who my Patriots playing on my birthday which is Super Bowl Sunday. Who do you like in the NFC, Ocho? You like Seattle? You like the Niners? You like the Rams? I like the Rams.
Starting point is 00:49:28 I like staff to get his second on. Yeah, I do too. I like staff to get his second. Make me pick. I'm going to have to go that one also. Eric Jordan Scott, unless Lamar is paralyzed, why isn't he in the game with the season on the line?
Starting point is 00:49:44 He's too soft for me. Two years in a row, the Raven season end on a Zay flowers fumble, and they bench Henry on the final two drives. I guess they are in that situation, Ocho, they had their receiving backs in, you know, Keon Mitchell and I forget the other guy's name. And so they want guys that can catch the ball
Starting point is 00:50:08 or get out of the back building things of that nature. So that's my only guess. Chris Evans, a massive win for the Patriots. It's been rough these last few weeks, but we're back in the playoffs, and I think our biggest weakness is our run defense. We've got to get that fixed. Offensively, we're okay, but need to be better.
Starting point is 00:50:27 I mean, I'm trying to think who can, like, really run the football that can cause you some problems, Buffalo, James Cook, if Indy get in, maybe Jonathan Taylor, but ain't nobody really got no running game like that. The charges can run the ball a little bit.
Starting point is 00:50:44 Yeah, a little bit, a little bit. Steelers, Steelers been getting to be up being a little better. Jalen Warren and Gamewell, they kind of been teaming up and been doubling that thing up. But James Cook could definitely get going with it. James, nice. It's Maddie.
Starting point is 00:51:00 And Elgado, El Gacho, is it safe to compare Bejillo? John does to a prime LT. Also, Mason met in his MVP vote with this game. Stafford stats don't matter. Yeah, unfortunately, they do matter. Yeah, they do matter.
Starting point is 00:51:16 And I don't like the LT comparison. Because he don't score like LT. You don't realize, I mean, you got to think about, go back and look at LT stats his first five years. LT had damn than 70 touchdowns. I think, I mean, stylistically, he's more reminiscent of LaShawn McCoy. McCoy.
Starting point is 00:51:35 L.T. Yes, that's who we remind you more like Mr. McCoy. I agree. I agree with that. Brandon Freed, got to give Trevor Love. That guy's been crucified for five seasons. That fortitude for real.
Starting point is 00:51:51 Yes. He's played well this year, and he's played well when he needed to play well. Right. I mean, you know, we saw him in London against the Rams, and he was awful. He was God awful. But if you look at him in a game,
Starting point is 00:52:05 against Kansas City. You look at him today against the Broncos. You look at him against the charges. You look at him against the 49ers. He's been phenomenal. This is why you took the guy with the first number one overall pick because you believe he's franchise altering. And when he plays like he played today, he's franchise altering.
Starting point is 00:52:23 If he continues, the Jags can do some things. They can do some damage. The show underscore show, Ocho. Who do you have coming out of the AOC and L.C. Super Bowl, go pass. Let's see who gets home field. Yeah, NFC, I got the Rams. Home field, no home field, baseball field.
Starting point is 00:52:48 I don't get what it is. AFC, I got, I got, I got, I got the bills. Bucket Geller Jr. If I'm David Montgomery, I'm requesting a trade. Why are you requesting the trade? because they don't get the bulk of the carries like Jemir Gibbs that's the only thing I can think of
Starting point is 00:53:09 I mean where are you going to go where you're going to be the starter yeah and most teams run the ball by committee even the Ravens Derek Henry they still you see
Starting point is 00:53:23 Mitchell and you see the other guy coming in there Gibbs Montgomery Bejohn Robinson and Aljir I mean nobody is just like just a bail cowback like what you used to see right yeah ain't no no bus no Peyton hillis no Jamal Lewis mm-mm-mm-hmm Tee Miller 68 the Packers wore out the Broncos last week they looked tired and unprepared this week now they just faced a team that played better than they did today that's what happens they won 11 straight a lot of those was
Starting point is 00:54:02 come from behind. Today they dug themselves too much of a hole and the, the Jags were just a better team. Jags, I played them. Popcorn butter, unpopular opinion. Drake May will go down as the best quarterback. Wait, what do you say?
Starting point is 00:54:20 Finish it, finish it, finish it. Drink May will go down as the best quarterback in Patriot history. Hey, that's like saying somebody, that's like saying somebody going to come in and go down as the best player in Bulls here. They're the basketball player that's going to go to Chicago and become the best basketball player in Bulls history. Honestly, honestly, Ash and I don't know who can hear this. That's a blockable offense. Yes, that's why I ain't want to read it.
Starting point is 00:54:53 That's why I didn't want to finish it. Hey, that's a blockable offense. Corne, I don't, I don't know. I don't know what you on. You must be on that flocker. It's Maddie 2215. Is it, is it, is it just me or what's going on with all these knee injuries this year? First my goat, Pat, then the greatest player in Washington State University.
Starting point is 00:55:19 Yeah, we've seen it. We've seen an uptick and non-contact. And I didn't see, I didn't see the injury. I just looked up and I saw the quarterback, the new quarterback was in there. But it's not, think about it, it's not just ACL, it's Achilles chair. also yeah it's been a lot of non-contact injuries maybe and maybe the non-contact acels are down but because of the names we're kind of focusing in on it more but I don't know what's going on judge 8714 lifelong bills fans what's up with colman why they why they run him
Starting point is 00:55:54 in the slot guess what another healthy scratch oh cho yeah he was he was he was a day he's healthy scratch i'm not sure i'm not sure why i mean maybe maybe he wasn't a part of the game playing based on who they were playing i mean i have no idea maybe didn't have a good week of practice a guy in the second ocho here's a guy that was a second round draft pick and you trying to tell me you tell me a time a second round draft pick you like you know what this this guy don't match up with who we play it yeah i listen i i've never heard it before i think there there been some inconsistencies with him when it comes to his play and it's a man it's so
Starting point is 00:56:35 damn d d dd 74 hey uncan ocho what's your current favorite Christmas movie growing up my the Grinch uh... l-ol much love nightcap family that's easy
Starting point is 00:56:45 a Christmas story yeah a Christmas story you're gonna shoot your eye out we wanted the BB gun Frosty the snowman nah come on man
Starting point is 00:56:57 nah I like Frosty hey the Christmas story is the best the best movie. But that wasn't no movie. That was a TV show. You know what? I don't even know how this got to be a Christmas movie, but you know what I like? The first die hard.
Starting point is 00:57:11 Oh, that was a good one. I don't even know if that's a Christmas movie. Yeah. Home alone, got to be up there. Who? Home alone. Yeah, yeah, that's a good one. I think, honestly, I think the Grinch, and Jim Carrey's Grinch
Starting point is 00:57:27 takes it all. Like that, that, that, that, that, that, hey, that acting. he did in the Grinch. Oh, my God. He killed that role. That's up there. That, hey, that, that, when, when Jim Carrey did the Grinch, that role in acting is up there with Heath Ledger and the Joker.
Starting point is 00:57:46 I know it's two different, two different characters altogether, but I'm just saying, though, he, though, that, he killed that. Oh, yeah. What's the, yeah, bad Santa. Bad sound, he stayed drunk. The one he had the little, the little one to win it. Hey, that was Billy Bob Thornton. Billy Bob Thornton. Yeah, Billy Bob.
Starting point is 00:58:09 Billy Bob best movie he was in was Slingblade. Nah, Munster's ball. Sling blade. I got, I got to see that. I got to see that. I never heard of that. Sling ball? Sling blade.

Starting point is 00:58:43 Broncos. Ocho don't want that to happen. What? You better not ever let, as long as we got nightcap, you better not ever let my teams win the Super Bowl. Man, if your team winning a Super Bowl, you must be playing Madden because that's about the only way it's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:59:02 I play no bad. Okay. Oh, Joe. They chat to about Friday after next with a clip to ass Santa. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And Magic Mike. Hey, that, hey, that was a good one.
Starting point is 00:59:13 That was a good one. Man, Rigginsmiley stole that stuff and hit that prime on them. Man, they beat the hell out of Riggins'biley with that Christmas trip. Oh, yeah, yeah, hey, beat him to death. Thank God, I'm black. Your Broncos don't need the number one seed.
Starting point is 00:59:33 It's too hard to win in Denver with the playoffs. Y'all play on the moon. We're going to get back on the track. Who we got next week? I know we got, I know we got, uh, we got charges last week. Oh, we got, oh, yeah, we got the Chiefs on Christmas. Got Chiefs on Crimma.
Starting point is 00:59:55 We got them. Hey, that's so unfair. That's a win. 86 boxing TV chad you should be able to give jake paul that work let go hey for 92 million i get in there hey uh don't don't do it to yourself for 92 million you're getting there for real absolutely i get in the ring with uh uh with uh Joshua

Starting point is 01:00:54 Slick underscore his butter. What's the Lachadocho? Just wanted to know if y'all say, the draft would y'all pick for the Broncos or Ocho for the Bengals in Miami. What we need, what we need, what we need. What each team need? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:18 Well, here, we need a quarterback. The office do. Yeah. Quarterback. Now, y'all do it. I would say Broncos maybe a, no, they got a Fonga.
Starting point is 01:01:37 Probably going to need some defensive line something. I need Dre, man. They'd be getting Dre matched up on tight ends and running backs and those crosses. And that isn't forte. At all. You got, you get this. It's all about knowing your players.
