Right now, about 1.30. I'm at 183. We should race. No, I want to leave here with my original hips. On the podcast, The Matchup with Alia, I pair prominent female athletes with unexpected guests. On a recent episode, I sat down with undisputed boxing champ, Clarissa Shields, and comedian Wanda Sykes, to talk about Wanda's new movie Undercard, The Art of Trash Talk, and what it really means to be ladylike.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Open your free IHeart Radio app. Search the Matchup with Alia and listen now. brought to you by Novartis, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports Network. I'm Daniel Jeremiah. And I am Greg Rosenthal. I know that, Greg. We're teaming up on 40s and free agents, the podcast that owns the NFL offseason. This is where teams are built.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Free agency, combine, pro days, trades. Every move matters. From my draft boards and mock drafts to my vaunted top 101 free agents and how rosters come together. Quarterback movement. Surprise signings. We'll tell you what it means. and who really wins.
Starting point is 00:02:34 Open your free IHeart radio app. Search 40s and free agents and listen now. Luca Donchich is out indefinitely due to a left hamstring injury. He'll miss the remainder of the regular season, and his status is uncertain beyond that. Austin Reeves is also expected to miss the next four to six weeks due to a grade two oblique injury. Jesus.
Starting point is 00:02:54 Damn. Both expected to be sidelined to begin the playoffs. Lucas is expected to be out, excuse me, Reeves at least through the first route if the Lakers were to get past the first route. Wow. Maybe he'll come back, but they're saying four to six weeks. And that's going to put, hey, they put a lot on Brumbrun, don't it, man?
Starting point is 00:03:14 Yeah. He had to by himself. Brumbrun going to take it back. Hey, take it back to Cleveland. He's going to take it back to 16, 17, 18. Well, he's acting a food. Get up 25, 30 shots. He's going to have to do that.
Starting point is 00:03:26 He's going to have to do that for them just to even compete, just even be around. Yeah. I'm sure he knows that, though. He knows that, though. And they got what they got, I think they got OKC. They got OKC again. And they only want, like one, one game, two games.
Starting point is 00:03:40 They one game, I think, in front of the Nuggets, maybe two games in front of the Rockets. Yeah. They might get, they ain't going to lie. They might get caught. If they get caught, that mean they don't want that four spot. Hell now. Who they got to play if they got this four spot?
Starting point is 00:03:53 Well, then they'll probably have to play Denver or Houston when they are. They'll play Denver or Houston. But hell, it ain't even there. Hey, you get out of that round, you're going to have to play O KC in the next round. Hey, so if Reeves and Lucas is out, right? What's the starting five going to look like now? What do you think?
Starting point is 00:04:11 Probably Kinnard. Okay. Probably Braun Kinnard. Whistle boy name? DA. Maybe Marcus Smart. Mark is he? Marcus.
Starting point is 00:04:29 I was hurt. Marcus hurt. He got a ankle injury, I think. They're going to have to rely on one of them young boys. Oh, La Ravia? Oh, yeah, yeah. La Ravia, he's been playing all right. He's been playing a good ball.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Damn. This is, ooh. I mean, guys have to be healthy all year, and it's the worst time. Sometimes sports is so over-giving. And that's why they say time and there's everything, bro. Like, you got to be playing great basketball at the right time Not only that, you've got to be healthy.
Starting point is 00:05:09 And injury free. Gotta be healthy. But that's all right. LeBron's going to show y'all, even at 40. Watch he average these next five game, average about 35. He's going to have two on. 35? Yeah, he'll have to shoot 25 times.
Starting point is 00:05:38 I mean, he's going to have to change because he's like, he's like, let me put this thing in autopilot. Good, them 13. I'm only going to take 10 to 15 shots. I'm the third option. I'm going to get, hey, ain't no more go standing that damn corner. He's about to be on the ball. Yeah, he's back on the ball.
Starting point is 00:05:52 Okay. He about to be back on the ball, Joe. Oh, yeah. He's going to rack up some assists. He's going to have to get you at least 30 plus a night. For sure. Yeah. Luca averaging 33, 32 a game.
Starting point is 00:06:09 A.R. averaging 25. I mean, come on, man. A video went viral of Austin Reeves interacting with an OKC fan after Luca went down. Take a look at this video, guys. It's the most good That his ass a That his ass a is there Yeah
Starting point is 00:07:14 Oh Some people are just so rude, bro Yeah They don't care And you gotta be ugly sometime Okay, I won't you know what I mean? You do, bro. You do.
Starting point is 00:07:27 Like, even when you don't really want to, like, you got to be ugly. Just, you know, damn, man, we got our star player hurt. And you hollering out these, man, come on, bro. Hey, you know, them fans feel invincible, Joe? And they be off their alcohol, too? Oh, I would just going to say. But they get the alcohol in their system. They're feeling to say whatever.
Starting point is 00:07:49 You already do it. They do. I like, I like the turban back and forward, though. I like that you are. Like, man, bro. The man hurt. You up there Kiki-ki-ki-in.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Ain't nothing funny. Yeah, you know the fan don't kidding about that, especially if they're not Laker fans. Exactly. How many times we don't seen somebody get hurt in the opposing crowd cheer? Chearing, yeah. You basically expect it.
Starting point is 00:08:17 You're at war. You basically... I'm Luke Wilson. Join me each week for Film Never Lies. Since retiring from the NFL, I've had a lot of my mind, and now got my own show. So if you're tired of lazy takes, if you want honest conversations, join us each week. Film Never Lies, available on all TSN platforms in the IHeartRadio app.

Michael Schumacher is also a Capricorn Sun, Cancer Moon. The story of the sports most consequential driver strike. We have one man who, upon hearing that he was going to be fired, freaked out, and apparently
Starting point is 00:09:05 climbed out the window of the bathroom. And was Daniel Ricardo's illustrious F1 career, a success story, a cautionary tale, or some combination of both? He started getting all this attention, and he maybe started to think, I'm bigger than this, I'm better, and plenty of other mishap scandals and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent gumster fire for more than 75 years. Listen to No Grip on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm John Green. And I'm Brianna Stewart. And our podcast, Game Recognized Game, has never been done before. Two active players giving you a real look at our lives and what we actually think, on and off the court.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Nothing's off limits. We talk trade requests. What's the vibe of that when it's like your star players, like, well, I don't. want to leave and then actually now I'm going to stick. We talk tanking. I mean, honestly, like, I might get in trouble for this answer, but I think it's like definitely happening
Starting point is 00:11:07 in the WBA. And yeah, we talk about our mistakes too. They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man, we got a call last night, man, you can't be rolling around the city like this tonight before games, no, you know, doing this, doing whatever. And of course, family stories. They'll be like,
Starting point is 00:11:24 Mommy, why did you miss that? Mind my do you play basketball? Check out Game Recognized game with Stoian Miles on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Daniel Jeremiah. And I'm Greg Rosenthal. And this is 40s and free agents. The games may be over, but the NFL never stopped.
Starting point is 00:11:48 This is my favorite part of the calendar. Yeah, mine too, Greg. Free agency, the combine. The NFL draft Pro Days, trades. This is where teams reshape their future. This is where Daniel Jeremiah makes his money. On 40s and free agents, we break down every move that actually matters. From my draft evaluations, mock drafts, and team fits, to my top 101 free agents and how real

Yeah, absolutely. It's hope season. We'll tell you what's real, what's noise, and what it means for your favorite team. Smart analysis.
Starting point is 00:12:26 real conversations every week. I'm not about the smart, but definitely analysis. Listen to 40s and free agents on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Expect it. All right, guys, it's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q. Damn, I thought we just started.
Starting point is 00:12:46 It feels like, don't it? We've been on here a little minute, Joe. Almost two. Before we get started in our super chat, we got some videos from my Discord. Let's take a list. Let's take a listen to what they had to say. Nightcap Big Three, what's good with y'all, man?
Starting point is 00:13:03 My name's Isaiah calling from Northern California. Man, I just want to give y'all, y'all flowers, you know, two million subscribers. I'd have made a lot of burner accounts over the last month, but, hey, we did it. I'm willing to serve whatever suspension YouTube throws my way. I did wrong so Nightcap can, you know, be right. You know, but, hey, Victor Webanyama,
Starting point is 00:13:23 defensive player of the year is a lock. Stefan Castle, first team all defense is a lock. I don't want to sound like a greedy Spurs fan, but can y'all see Kelton Johnson maybe winning sixth man, maybe Julian Champany making that second team, all defensive team? Let me know something. Win VP, win VP, win VP, and go Spurs, go.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Now, Wimby may win defensive player a year, but that Alexander, Nicholas Alexander for the Atlanta Hawks, he would be a big man of the year, bro. Okay. He's gonna, no, he started. He winning most improved. Yeah. Yeah, he winning most improved.
Starting point is 00:14:01 I thought Pratton Pritchie could win six men a year, but they say he probably started too many games. Oh, because he did start a couple games, huh? Yeah. Yeah. But Castle definitely should be on the first team all defensive. Yeah, he's going to be on the first team. Hey, he can't Pennington ain't.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Hey, Castle, the one with the dread, huh? Yeah. He's nice. Yeah. He was all, he was rookie of the year last year. Yeah. I ain't gonna lie, though. They all, they all, all them do.
Starting point is 00:14:28 defend, though. All of a dig-in. They all defend. They all play at a high level. And when you got win me back there. Six men. They said Kelton Johnson does have the best odds to win. Who's he in front of?
Starting point is 00:14:44 Hawkeads, Jr. Reed Sheppard. Also, Peyton Pritchie. Payton Pritchin ain't in it. Nope. He wasn't started too many games. And what Kelvin Johnson averaging? Probably about 15.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Because it's him, the best odds, is him, Hawkes, and Reed Shepherd from Houston. Yeah, he'll probably win it then. Keldon probably winner. They playing great ball, too. You get rewarded for winning, too. You do. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:16 And you should. You should. Absolutely. Here's our second one. Let's take a listen. What's up? What's up, Ocho? What's up, Ice O.
Starting point is 00:15:26 First of all, ICE, O. One of the greatest basketball players I've seen, Ocho, best feeding the game. game should be in the Hall of Fame. Oh, you are the greatest tight-in ever play the game. I know you like to defer to, oh, Grunk and Kelsey out of the time, but you revolutionized the game, my boy. You made the tight-in position exciting to watch. And I only watch the devil broadcasts because you, because you see where I'm at. But anyway, congratulations on two million, and I'll be here with three million. And once again, oh, you are the go. You are the
Starting point is 00:15:59 greatest. Go ahead on. embrace it and let the world know that you are the goat. That's what's up. I appreciate that, bad. That's awesome. Two million. I mean, they were excited that we were to get two million, man. You know, people are, you know, two million and organically.
Starting point is 00:16:15 And we really appreciate that because none of this is what we've been able to do as possible without you guys. So thank you guys again. And here's our third and final one. Let's take a listen. What's up, Nightcap family, Javonne Brooks here? Want to give a question to Joe. Man, Joe, around 2,000. the 7th, 2008 used to always do a charity event in the city of Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:16:35 And one year you did a charity event at the Bowman Alley. Not sure if you remember, but you did it for all the members in the Boys and Girls Club. And I was one of those members, right? And I want to know what made you do that? Because when you threw that event, you didn't have no cameras, no media, no security. It was literally just you, bro. You just showed the most love ever. And you didn't know this, but by you doing that event, bro, that inspired me to do the
Starting point is 00:17:01 same thing in my community, bro. So I want to just say thank you. But again, what made you want to do that, bro? Because you didn't have to do that. And Ocho, shout out to you, brother. You already know a time with it. But yeah, peace up. For me, man, I grew up in a boys and girls club. My mother, my mother worked at the Boys and Girls Club. So I was in there all day, okay, Ocho, from the time we opened up to the time it closed, thrash Boys and Girls Club in Little Rock, Arkansas. Man, that's where I learned how to play. That's where I learned how to compete.
Starting point is 00:17:36 I mean, that was everything for me. So when I got a chance to really pay it back, yeah, I always want the Boys and Girls Club to come out and I always want to do an event like that. So, yeah, I should do an event every year, man. We should have a lot of fun with it. Might even bring it back. That's dope.
Starting point is 00:17:57 Yeah. It's always great when you give back. Man. I'll pay it forward. Uh, Desmond Williams, uh, Arizona couldn't buy a shot if Bricks counted his currency. They definitely struggle. They definitely struggle to shoot the ball night. Hell, you got to get Michigan credit though. Like, you know, they, they, they're, hey, them dudes playing hard. They were bowling, boy.
Starting point is 00:18:16 Just in all these shots. You know, they weren't giving them dudes nothing easy. Nah, no. No. Alpha bodies, Ocho got that princess peach crown on. Man, stop. What do you say about my crown? They ain't rolling. That's what he said. They said they ain't rolling. No, that's one person.
Starting point is 00:18:36 That's one person. They said they ain't rolling, Ocho. No, listen, that's one person, Joe. We can't be worried about one person. Hey, as of right now, King Ocho, and still. What can you talk about? It ain't got the same ring. It ain't got the same.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Come on. You know it ain't got the same ring. Chat, know they got the same ring. Nah, no, I'm trying to get the chat in it. A, hey, a metaphor. In fact, you know what? It's 134, too. It's 134. A, chat. I hate to do this. Uncle Joe. I just want a quick moment of silence for a very good friend of mine. A Chinese man who invented the camera lens. He passed away. So rest and peace, to zoom in. See what I'm saying? Hey, Joe, you get it? Zoom in? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:32 I already know you got some up your sleeve. I already knew we were on some bulljacking. Here we go. Ron, for me, nightcap crew. Come to a live show in Memphis. I'll put up 10K and we'll work out the deal. I get y'all some good barbecue. Let's make it happen.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Damn, you know, Memphis close to home, but they ain't nothing but a hop in the skip. You hear me? Yeah. Yeah, they got some good barbecue. I've got some of the old dry rub from Charlie Veros. Oh. What did you know about that dry rub?
Starting point is 00:20:04 Man. I love, hey, I love some dry rub now. Man. I always want to, I just want to try some Memphis barbecue, you know.
Starting point is 00:20:13 They got some, Texas, does have South Carolina, doesn't have, you know, obviously Georgia, Kansas City. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:19 I never had no North Carolina barbecue, but, you know, you got to have some Memphis. I got to get Memphis. Boy, Dallas got some good barbecue. Do they? Oh. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:28 The only time I've been to Memphis, I flew in the Memphis. Memphis. I flew to Memphis twice. Flew into Memphis and I drove down to Bahaley, Mississippi. Pick up a puppy. Oh, did you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Yeah. Y'all have been every damn well, man. I don't think I haven't been to Memphis, Joe. You ain't never been? I don't think so. Nah. Yeah, Memphis ain't bad, bro. It's not. Hey, listen, I, you know, I, I just ain't never been, you know.
Starting point is 00:20:59 Yeah. Yeah. T.S. Carwide Detail Service. Iso got that Richard Pryor pro. Jokic for MVP, easy. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I thought SGA was winning it. I mean, that's who he believes should win it easily. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:21:24 But I think, I don't think Yokie's going to win it. I think he's going to get some votes. I think it's going to be close. Yeah. Yeah, he's going to be close. He's definitely going to get some votes, but I think Shay will. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Yeah, man, hey, back in the day, I got Ocho, boy, I used to have one of them big curly fro. You know what I'm talking about? Why he said one of them big curly froe back in the day? Yeah. Well, you said curly, you had like, like a Jerry curl? Yeah, like the activator and all that. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:54 Yeah, my mama had it right. Hey, Joe, you should activate that thing again for the show one time. Joe, you had the bruising bears up in there? Well, what? Well, my mama didn't play. Oh. Hey, hey, hey, hold up, though. I was tenderheaded as I don't know what.
Starting point is 00:22:05 You hear me? I'm talking about she used to brave my hair, but she had to do it while I'm asleep because I couldn't take it. I couldn't take it. So you had to spray that water thing because of the baby pop it. Boy, hey, hey. She had it right, boy.
Starting point is 00:22:21 Yeah. She used to have me right. It's Maddie. Prince, up, just the Ocho. Never going to be our king with a Tibu crown. And still, King Iso, what's your top three favorite movies ever?
Starting point is 00:22:39 Oh, that's easy. Shit, for me, Boomerang. Come on. Well, hey, I love me some Boomerang now. Yeah. Hey, boomerang, hey, boy, boomerang, one of my favorite movies. It's so many, bro. I could go.
Starting point is 00:22:54 It is. Oh, my God. I could go life. I could go house party. I could go. I'm ready for this. I could go Love Jones. like poetic justice.
Starting point is 00:23:06 I mean, I can keep you know about that love Jones. They say I'm hopeless. Like a pity with a hole in it. Dionne Ferris. Yes. Michelle O'Degosella rush over her and Marcus Miller. Yeah. Hey, I like this question.
Starting point is 00:23:24 I like this question because I'm a movie head, right? So I'm going to give you my three favorite movies, but I'm going to give it to you in three sets of three different sets of genres of different types of movies. Life coming to America and Harlem Knights, right? Oh, okay. That's one set of comedy. I want to laugh.
Starting point is 00:23:42 It doesn't matter where I catch it on the TV. I'm watching it every single time. Then my grandma introduced me to my favorite three, stormy weather, cabin in the sky, and green pastures. I'm not sure what the age group is. Are some of the people in here? Some of you might know those movies. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:00 Three more. Yeah, you 75 and up. Yeah, hey, three more. That's about love, love. Anytime I catch it on TV, I don't care where it is in the movie. I'm watching. Troy, Braveheart, and Gladiator. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Man, listen. Man, listen, boy. You got on. If we're doing comedy, I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go live Harlem nights and Friday. The OG Friday. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's all. Then I'm gonna go, Silas of the Lambs.
Starting point is 00:24:34 A few good men. Yeah. And Malcolm X. NZL killed that boy. Yeah. I like anything. I like anything with with Jack Nicholson in it.
Starting point is 00:24:56 He cold. He cold with it. And y'all ever seen the movie The Goonies? Yeah. What you know about the Goonies? My love the Goonies, boy. Hey, hey, you guys. Hey, Chuck, Chuck.
Starting point is 00:25:10 That's one of my favorite movies. Oh, yeah. Goonis was nice, boy. I used to, I bet I love them. I mean, but ever since, um, COVID, I ain't really, it's hard for me to get back into the movies, man. I know, no. I used to go, man, I love the joke.
Starting point is 00:25:28 When I say I used to love the movies. I mean, I saw six movies in one day. That's how I love the movies. Yeah. Two was nothing. Yeah. I ain't got a patient, I couldn't sit down there. My knees, my back.
Starting point is 00:25:40 everything they have to move me up out of it now but they actually love the movies the popcorn get the popcorn twizzlers and a coke I'm straight one nothing like it ain't nothing like it man I like them I like them I'm doing that oh you're gonna slap those that strawberry iceing huh yeah oh you don't mix them Joe you don't mix them I'm like I might put a little raspberry and that little raspberry and what I had it right with ice again I like I like it I like it When you go to the movie theaters, it's like a dining in. They got them big, them big. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:15 Like Centa Bistro. You remember Senna Bistro? Yeah, we got Senna Bistro here. Yeah. Yeah. They got, uh, they got I pick. They got I pick. A lot of, a lot of places have gone to that dining.
Starting point is 00:26:27 You could order food and stuff like that. So that's kind of the, the approach that they're taking you order wine. Yes, uh, well, hey. They're like a good movie. That was, ooh. Them with the days, man. Man, you know. And look at, look at how they did your boy, Joe Orcho.
Starting point is 00:26:45 Hey, that's you and Gino? That's what I got in LA. Because you know the sweater, you know ain't. Yeah, yeah. We get riding with the sweater on. He's about to get into Memphis Gris. I do. It's retired.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Yeah, you retired at all. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just by luck, something pop off again. Oh, man. Yeah, I still got this sweater. People like, hey, the dude that made that sweater, Greg Lauren said, man, he got an influx. Like everybody, say he was just like,

Starting point is 00:29:19 and that's about it that's about it you haven't seen CB live Chris Brown no yeah I've seen him live the kids have but I know what I get when you go see CB it would be no different than going to see Beyonce it'd be no different than going to see Bruno Mars
Starting point is 00:29:38 you know what you get when you go to see those type of individuals that had that kind of stage presence and command the crowd at all time I know what I'm getting. Hey, listen, I've seen CB, I've seen Drake. I'm going to tell you all somebody else I've seen who put on a show. That dang on R. Kelly, man.

If you want to go to a concert and just sit down and just have a good time, take your lady to see O'Dale, Joe. Adele? Yeah. I don't know what she going to be performing again, but Lord have mercy.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Hey, what about Leon Thomas? Hey, he nice. Oh, yeah. Leon Thomas in a concert, but he's, oh, yeah. It's one more. They had that same type of neon. I see what you call it, like 10 times. Maxwell.
Starting point is 00:32:24 Oh, yeah. Yeah, Maxwell nice. And I see John Legend. John Legend got a nice one. John Nice. Because John and Adele is kind of telling you, they're kind of giving you where they were, what they were thinking when they wrote this song,
Starting point is 00:32:39 what the song means. So they give you the backdrop of the story of the song. So I really like that. You know what? You know what? You know who I want to go see? Man. My girl Cardi B.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Hey. I'm going to see Cardi B. I'm going to see Cardi B. I ain't heard nothing about a show. I'm sure she put on a mean show. I heard that. I mean, everybody said that thing been really nice. Yeah.

Starting point is 00:33:16 Hey guys, what's your Prince, Mount Rushmore, slow songs. Is Purple Rain? Purple Rain would be considered a slow song, huh? It would be considered a slow song. Hey, um, uh, went to an HBCU, Joe. Yeah. You got to hear Southern University play Purple Rain. It's like that.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Man, listen, man. I'm sure every HBCU band can play Purple Rain. But when Southern play Purple Rain, Joe, and I heard it when they played it in the fifth quarter when they played Alcorn State. I forgot the year it was. I mean, for those in the chat that are watching, you go back and listen to the fifth quarter
Starting point is 00:34:00 of Southern versus Alcorn State. It was a while ago, but once you, oh, Joe, Joe, you know, I'm a music head. Yeah. Joe, it damn they brought tears to my eyes, man. It was like that. Oh, man, Joe. I mean, you have to appreciate music for you to get that kind of feeling because, you know, I love the band.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Yeah. I love music in general. So, man, Purple Rain would be my top, my cream of the crop when it comes to slow songs when it comes to Prince. Yeah. What did you got? I don't know, you probably got three off the dome, right now. Ah, no, man, Addoin would be my first one. A door.
Starting point is 00:34:37 That's a good one. Oh, my goodness. Man, that joke got his catalog. Woo! He got too many. Too many hits. Adore? Lord, how much,
Starting point is 00:34:53 I can't think her off the top of my head. Because I'd be like it. I like when doves cry, I like erotic city. Yeah. Under the Cherry Moon. Kiss. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:09 Sometimes it slows in April, but it's sad. Yeah. Ooh, man. I'm a huge, huge. Prince, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:22 I'm trying to think has Prince ever made a bad song from pop life to sign of the time? Let's go crazy. Controversy. International lover. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Pop life. Hey, what you know about Let's go crazy, boy? That'll get you hype now. Uh, do you lie? Yeah, ain't nothing like that purple rain, though.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. And to me, Purple Rain is up there, Joe, with Lenny Williams because I love you. Oh, but you know, a big lady. Hey. You don't know a big lady?
Starting point is 00:36:07 But who? Well, you know, he listened to the song until the TV went off. Back of the day when you was growing up, the TV went dark after midnight. At the minute. Yeah. The TV would go dark so it wasn't nothing but just, just static, just blacked. Yeah. And listen, he cried.
Starting point is 00:36:23 Oh, he cried. Hmm. Oh, oh, oh, oh. God, come on, Lenny. Hey, you know exactly when my arms and their broke up, because they put that lady on. Oh, uh, uh, uh, uh, oh, oh. And I would just get ready to say that.
Starting point is 00:36:36 And I listen, I could be vulnerable with y'all. I never forget when a young lady left me one time, I was a little younger. I wasn't seasoned yet. You know, I didn't have an understanding that, you know, she's not mine and just my turn at the time. Uh-huh. Two songs I listened to when I got left.
Starting point is 00:36:55 That goddamn Lenny Williams, because I love you, And Jasmine Sullivan. Look what a Joe? Oh, Joe, look what a Joe on? I'm just getting a little portier. Hey, hey, hey, Joe get right. Oh, Lord, have mercy. Hey, this nightcap, I had to, I got to get me a little swig for our, you know what?
Starting point is 00:37:10 Hold on, hold on. Hey, Joe, you're supposed to start that at the beginning of the show, Joe. No, no, no, no, no, I might get to talking too much. Hey, hey, hey, eh, eh, eh, eh, uh, and Joe, that second song after a breakup, like when she leave you. Yeah. Play that goddamn Jasmine Sevelling in love with another. man. You get a better understanding on, get a better understanding on why
Starting point is 00:37:31 she left. Yeah, that's your therapy right there. Yeah, Lenny Williams, Lenny Williams song, because I love you. Atlantic Star sent for me. Oh, what you know about that? Love train. Hey. When you said, warm nights, can't sleep.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Two hurt, two weeks. Hey, I bet. Hey, I bet take you out and some karaoke. That what we need, we need some good karaoke. All right. We do karaoke. I bet. This is my chance you just let me home,

Starting point is 00:38:16 like the person that sing the song. Yeah. When it kind of performing in stage presence? Yeah. I got you beat. Hey, Joe, you know, you got to remember, Joe. I was a theater major now.
Starting point is 00:38:28 But see, when you listen to a song, you don't listen to the backdrop of the story or how the song came to beat. Like the song Love Train. Yeah. Two guys was dating the same girl. Ooh. They were in the same music group,
Starting point is 00:38:44 and that's what he said he want to call over. He want to come over. But he couldn't because he was already over there. Bandmate was already over there. Damn. Go back and look into the backdrop of the story. What song is that? Love Train.
Starting point is 00:39:01 Hold on. Who sing Love Train? Who, uh... Hold on. Let me tell you. I'm gonna tell you. I gotta find that. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:39:12 I'm gonna find it. I'm gonna find it right now. No. Oh, the OJ's, huh? No, not that one. No, no, no, no. Hold on. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:39:26 Hell, not that one. He said, sugar. Uh-huh. And then stop to leave this. Oh, you were. Hey, Confunction, yeah. Confunction? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:43 That's a jam. Hey, I never knew that, huh? And if I chance, you just let me hold ya. Hey. I'm not on my knees. Hey, boy, I'm a mofo on their karaoke. I thought I had a couple shots hit me, okay, Ocho. Yeah.

Starting point is 00:53:49 You know. I got us no chill. Cut one, cut one. Uh-oh. Two. Okay, cut. I guess keep. Uh, I guess, hold on.
Starting point is 00:54:02 He said, you got keep, cut one, keep one, trade one is supposed to be, right? Cut one, keep one. Okay, okay, you got a belt, you got a switch, you got the extension cord. The extension cord gone. Yeah, that more got the done. That one gone. That's his own. He's gone and not doing anything else.
Starting point is 00:54:22 I'm taking that. I'm taking that belt over that switch. Yeah. Yeah, I'm taking that belt. I ain't want no part of that extension cord. That bang don't break. Man, I'm telling you y'all, listen. Man, my little ass got teeth and can chew it like a dog.
Starting point is 00:54:37 I don't want no part of that. I'll tell you. Listen, my auntie, Sherry, boy, that's how she used was a switch. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:47 This is your cord. Yeah. You put fear in your heart, boy. I don't want to be part of that. Hey, that lamp don't work no more. Hey,
Starting point is 00:54:56 they cut the cord. I'm like, hey, throw the whole bag away. What you cut the cord off? Yeah. Walking around the house with it round their shoulder like this him.
Starting point is 00:55:02 Yeah. Hey, should have had a heavyweight belt. Number one ass. They're going on all time. Hey. Hey, shit. Hey, boy, she.
Starting point is 00:55:13 Uh, Ace Wade 17. A whipping fresh out of the shower is the worst whipping you can get. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Damn. I ain't never had one now. I don't know about it out of the shower.
Starting point is 00:55:25 I know about out to sleep because they tell you to do something before you go to bed and you forget to do it and they come home and they beat you out of sleep. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. My grandma was notorious for that. Yeah. You know what I hope, Joe?
Starting point is 00:55:40 My grandma would beat me and my brother and then get on the phone and tell everybody. Or when they come on for a Sunday, you know I had to tell that boy ass up. There ain't nobody ask you that. I mean, talk about church. You just got on church and told him to tell him you had to tell the boy ass. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:54 He was sleeping. I shut down on his ass. You're proud of that. You had like you, I mean, you just won a thousand dollars. Grand & Dale. That's how it went back in the day, boy. They called everybody. Yeah, he's out here being managed.
Starting point is 00:56:10 Oh, Lord, how much. People ain't even ask you none of that, granted. Ain't nobody asks you nothing about no whipping. Ain't nobody ask you nothing. I don't even know why you brought that up. Yeah, yeah. But of old people, they have no chill. They tell everything.
Starting point is 00:56:25 Hey, don't you be speaking. Hey, my grandma saying was, don't speak, hey, stop speaking behind people, which means don't repeat what you heard somebody say. Keeping it. Why are you telling you? Why are you taking it out of this house? I should have cut that boy ass.
Starting point is 00:56:41 He up there telling what happened in this house. You do it all the time. I should cut your ass there. Yeah, hey. That shit was different back then, boy. Oh, yeah. They wait till you get that shirt off. Man, my grab my shirt down on you with that.
Starting point is 00:56:59 Woo! Ah! Boy, hey, you grabbed up, let it go. Yeah. No. Boy, look, just, you know, I ain't gonna be to do that great. I'm gonna hold on a little while longer.
Starting point is 00:57:14 We all scar behind the man's woman, boy. Yeah, hey, boy. I don't know if my grandma would have been the number one seed, but, hey, she wasn't getting out of that top five. Boy. Nehaar, tall and brown skin. Hey, big head.
Starting point is 00:57:34 That would, that would it be said, that would be saying, Joe. Man, you are, hey, you are already, You know what? You already know when you ain't talked to them in a while, huh? They hit you, they slide in your DMs or seen you a text. Hey, big head. All right, no. Come on, yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:48 I ain't heard for you in a while. You told me not to call you no more. I mean, Joe, what you expect? You tell somebody not to call you no more. They didn't talk about I ain't hurt for you in a while. You know, I ain't really mean it. How am I supposed to know that? Yeah, you know them, girl.
Starting point is 00:58:04 You know they want to chase. They want us to chase them. They want us to chase them. I know how it go, man. I said, Lord, have mercy. Coach Rogge, oh, geez, hope all is well, thankful for another 24 above the ground. Y'all gave my pops a shout out a while back,
Starting point is 00:58:21 much appreciated it. What play from y'all's career do you wish y'all could get back? Play? Yeah, oh, I remember like yesterday. The AFC championship? Nope. Mm-mm.
Starting point is 00:58:36 It was a play. We lost the regular season. It was a regular season game. We'd have home field. If we win the game, and we end up losing by like three points. We win the game. I dropped the touchdown to side fair zone
Starting point is 00:58:46 against the Raiders. We win the game. We get home field. We ended up having to go to Buffalo for the AFC championship game and we lost 10-7. Damn. Now, I remember like yesterday.
Starting point is 00:58:58 Happened just like they drew it up. Start in tight, motion out, linebacker, Robinson, from UCLA number 57. I forget his first name. Oh, man. For me, my first year in Brooklyn, when I got traded to Brooklyn, we played the Bulls and the playoffs. First round.
Starting point is 00:59:19 I had a pretty good series, but the game seven, at home in Brooklyn. Okay, Ocho, I went to hot yoga at like 2 o'clock in the evening. Normally I go at like five in the morning, so I give myself time to recover. Yeah, get some fluids back in you. Man, I went at 2 o'clock in the evening. I had to go straight to the arena. When I left there, I'm talking about I was depleted. You hear me?
Starting point is 00:59:39 I'm talking about it. It's like I couldn't get out of first gear. Man, I finished the game with four porn. And we lost. We lost. I would ask trans. If I could get that game back, boy. Why you go that late?
Starting point is 00:59:51 Because, man, I had my lady in town. She had her friend. You know, it's playoffs. I'm trying to. And so I got up late. So I'm like, man, I'm going to catch this 2 o'clock. I'll be all right. Right.
Starting point is 01:00:02 Why got in the game? I felt like I was stuck in first gear. I couldn't even move. And, Ocho, what the coach does always tell us? After Friday practice, get off your feet. Get off your feet. Yep, right away. What about your stomach on your back?
Starting point is 01:00:18 I'm going to be on something. I ain't going to be over feet, but I'm going to be on something now. He didn't think of about that. M. Z. Robertson, Ocho, just pay Unkey's money. You technically owe him 12K on the college football playoff when Indiana beat Miami. It was double when you put $5,900 on that game. Damn, man, I forgot about it.
Starting point is 01:00:38 about that. We ain't, we ain't, we didn't bet that? Yeah, we did. Y'all came. Hey, who was that? Man, they y'all some snitches. Well, I got to stay where I got to stay from around y'all, man. They're snitching. Now, he's a fed. Vegas resident going out solo. I'm single. So you got three, uh, you get three got advice on non-creeper approach to going up to a woman. Three non-creper advice. So you don't want to You don't even need three. I give you one. What you got?
Starting point is 01:01:19 Use confidence. That's it. Be confidence. If you think you're attractive, there ain't nothing you can say that makes you sound like a creep. It's just only when she don't find you attractive or interesting. It's a problem. Anything that you say sound creepy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:34 Yeah. You're like, hey, baby, I got 50 grand for you. Oh, are you the creep? Get away from me. Right, right. You think you look good? Oh, that's a great. How are you doing?
Starting point is 01:01:44 Hey, even if you don't look good, confidence will always win. You got to be confident. Got to be. No stuttering. Hey, how you doing? Listen, I couldn't help but notice from across the way. I don't mean to interrupt and being your personal sleep. Oh, you're staring your creep?
Starting point is 01:02:02 Oh, my gosh. What are you doing? Hey, hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. Hey, one thing about it, boy, I got to give a gab. Boy, I can talk. You hear me? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:10 Hey, man, listen, man. I can talk. They're already to heard. Huh? Hey, best mouth in town. Yeah, hey. Hey, you know what I said? They said the word out of the street.
Starting point is 01:02:22 Hey. It's like word, get around on the other side. Yeah. Hey, one thing about it, Joe. You hear me? What's that? Hey, word and a mouth travel past. And everybody wants that experience, huh?
Starting point is 01:02:32 Okay. All right. Yeah. Yeah. And that man, hey, we ought to, hey, come over to the house. We go have a cookout. Boy, you think I drank out of that joke of a glass on you? I did on Joe.
Starting point is 01:02:44 Hey, I got red solo. I'll bring my own solo cook. No, I got solo cup. You know, I thought I wait once I use them. No. Hey, what's wrong with it? Hey, Joe. I mean, I'm just.
Starting point is 01:02:58 Hey, I'd rather eat out the garbage can and drink after that joker. Hey, hey, Joe, I'm just living, man. I'm just. Nah, you ain't, no. No, that ain't living. Hey, hey. That boy, don't mind tossing the salad. Do it.
Starting point is 01:03:11 That's who. I mean, you want to toss a salad? You want to eat them? Which one? I just came with you, Ocho. I'm just asking, I'm asking a question. This man, need help. Chad, I mean, he'll lost, so, he'll lost call.
Starting point is 01:03:29 Hey, I ain't never been lost. I got GPS. Yeah. Where are you going? Huh? Where are you going? We already know where you're going. Heaven.
Starting point is 01:03:37 Heaven. Don't never go to the front, though. I always go to the back. Hey, yeah. Hey. Hey. Hey. I always been a.
Starting point is 01:03:48 Rebel, just because, hey, hey. Come on now. Samuel LeGrand. What he got upset about was a lie anyway. Tried to say she ain't shake his hand when it clearly did. Just take the Ellie move on.
Starting point is 01:04:02 That's what it was, bro. That's really that simple. Gino expected to win. He felt he had the better team. He was the odds of betting favorite. He was the defending champ. He expected to win. And when he didn't win,
Starting point is 01:04:15 this is what we got. He wasn't about no damn no shaking hand talking about you waited three minutes that woman shook your hand and they walked back to her bench she did she did so i don't know what gina was thinking i mean and like i said an apology you need to need it got to include you can apologize to south carolina you can apologize to the staff but it took to for it to hit it needs to be personal accountability who did i offend who did i say and do two. Mr.

Starting point is 01:05:07 I don't know. I mean, what are 11-year-old? Ocho, you got 11-year-old? What you go, what you take? Happy birthday to you. Huh? Would you say, Unk? You got 11-year-old.
Starting point is 01:05:16 Where do you take 11-year-old young lady? My 11-year-old, their birthday. We went to a horseback riding. We went to the Jump in Place. We went to Extreme Action Park. I let them ride go cards, video games, Warner Stadium. And we did a little bit of everything.
Starting point is 01:05:31 Joe, you have been to Andredis in Atlanta? I did a, I should do an event up there. What's you talking about? I'd be on them go cards going crazy up there. Yeah, bad. Andretti's? Yeah, Andretti. They got go cards.
Starting point is 01:05:46 Oh, really? They got the fans go carts, Ocho. Ain't none of this play, play. Yeah. Yeah. So if you ever want some smoke, call me. I, you know, I don't, I don't dust it many people.
Starting point is 01:05:54 You can't drive, man. Joe, come on, Joe. Can't see. Because he can't see. Joe, don't do that. Ocho, I'm serious, bro. Joe, there's nothing you can beat me in competitive. Ocho, everybody doesn't see this on a nightcap outside. What do you mean?
Starting point is 01:06:08 You still talk about that show from three months ago? I can only go out what we didn't done. Well, I just beat, I just beat you in March Mad. Yeah, you did. No, you didn't win. That little weak head. 97 G-G-6. How would it go if a player tried to get out of a contract like what Shistie did to Gucci?
Starting point is 01:06:28 Allegedly, now the DOJ did bring charges, said Shisty, allegedly, reportedly to get out of his contract, pulled a pistol on Gucci, man. Yeah, hey. Wait, Gucci, Gucci? Yeah, Guwop. Guwaw. The boys in Memphis ain't playing, man. They came down there by business.
Starting point is 01:06:49 I guess they came from Memphis to Dallas because the meeting was set up in allegedly Ocho Joe we got to use allegedly and reportedly is that people left from Memphis went down, there was a meeting scheduled in Dallas and when he got there it's like look this is what needs to happen
Starting point is 01:07:10 Yeah I don't know much about this situation I don't get bro you just did you just what a nickel or three a Nick I don't know what you, but you got out and you make it money and to potentially put yourself back in harm's weight Man, them dudes on them dudes
Starting point is 01:07:29 gonna be thinking like that. Hey, they, they're going for respect, homie. They're like, hey, if you done me foul or done somebody in my family wrong, them dude coming for respect, bro. Oh, that's the number one currency. Yeah, yeah, they're not, they're not, they're not playing.
Starting point is 01:07:42 They ain't even thinking about going back to the fed. He's like, man, damn this. You're going to sign these paper. Give me out this contract. Hey, that music business, boy, it's dirty, boy. All this is dirty. Damn. It is.
Starting point is 01:08:03 I just. He came out and ran it up, too, boy. Pool Shicey came out, ran it up with their first day out. Yeah. I ain't going to be able to get my interview now. You'll be able to get it. Might be a little while. I've been a little while, but you be able to be again.
Starting point is 01:08:24 John Washington, what's up, fellas, question? What is something you wish you could go back in time and do again, but you can't say your sports career? I can go back in time and do again. I'd be able to go back and do it again and again. You know what I'm saying, Joe? Get it and again again. I run it up.
Starting point is 01:08:47 Oh, man. What could I go back in time? do again. You know what? I think for me, it took care of my business in high school the right way so I could have went to a four-year institution. Ocho, you
Starting point is 01:09:10 know I was mature enough to handle that situation. Being around you, you being around me, we went exactly where we were supposed to be. Yeah, yeah, but I mean, hypothetically speaking. It probably, it probably would have been I know mine.
Starting point is 01:09:43 Oh, boy, I had some situation. I had a situation, well, man. I probably should have been mad, man. Damn. We probably all of them passed up a few. Oh, yes. Yeah, yeah. But you know what?
Starting point is 01:09:59 The good is like a parking spot in the mall. Just drive around. Another one to open up. You know, you get even closer. You know what I'm saying? Oh, Joe. You know what I was like, yeah, I'm thinking of that pile. Man, I missed it.
Starting point is 01:10:08 You drove around. There was one right there. Just got out of car and walk right in the ball. Yeah. What you got, Joe? For me, I ain't going to lie to y'all, okay, Ocho. It would be, you know, not having kids with multiple women, bro. I ain't, I'm going to keep it real.
Starting point is 01:10:26 They ain't, they ain't worried. I feel you, Joe. That ain't worried. Like, I sit and talk to my son. He's 19, Ocho. And, you know, that testosterone jumping out of his chest. You hear me? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:37 Yeah. Yeah. He, I said, man, that shit just ain't. It just ain't that cool to me. I ain't, it ain't cool to me, bro. Because you have to deal with... I definitely would not have done it like that. I agree with you, Joe.
Starting point is 01:10:48 Yeah, yeah, because you got to deal with too many different personalities, attitudes, and it's just like, damn, like, I, you know, I kind of pinch myself sometime. Like, damn. Like, I could have been better in that aspect. Mm-hmm. I'm just keeping 100. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:11:06 I agree, Joe. I think the thing is that my co-parent did a great job. I think they did a great job, explaining to the child, your dad ain't like me. Some of the things that I let slide, your daddy gonna bust hell out you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:23 And so there's a level, I've always had a level, you know, kids I've explained to them. I say our dynamic, our relationship will never change. The dynamic of our relationship will ever change. Right. They're looking at me like, Daddy, what you mean?
Starting point is 01:11:35 I say, I'm always going to be the day and you'll always be the child. Yeah. We're never going to be here. Yeah. So don't talk. or behave in a matter where you think you're here. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:47 As they got older, I treated them more and more like adults. Yeah. And I didn't, you know, I was like, okay, we would have a conversation as opposed to when they were child. I told them what to do. But as they got older, I was like, I started showing them a little, and they did not, that I disrespected them as a child,
Starting point is 01:12:04 but I didn't reason with a child. Yeah. I said, this is what we're gonna do. This is what we're gonna do. If I say we're gonna eat, I'm gonna eat here, this is where we're going to eat. If I say, this is what we're gonna eat tonight. This is what we're gonna eat tonight.
Starting point is 01:12:13 Right. As they started to get older, I started to compromise more. But, but let's stay in our prospective places. Yeah, yeah. Never got down to their level because, hey, let a public lick you long enough in the mouth if you think he'll stand up until you invite you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:33 I don't, like, I'm with you on that, uncle. I don't do, like, I'm cool with my kids. Like, we have a good time, but I ain't one of your friends, bro. I'm not one of your friends. I ain't even trying to act like one of your friends. I'm just keeping one or not. Like the way I was raised,
Starting point is 01:12:49 that just wasn't, that was a no-go. Like, your parents, your elders, they didn't play that. You know what I mean? So I don't,
Starting point is 01:12:57 I don't play that. So it's like, for instance, me and my son, we go play pickup, Anken Ocho, he got a potty mouth. I'm talking about he just out there
Starting point is 01:13:06 cussing like, I'm one of his home boys or something. I'm like, oh, no. I had to pull him to the side, I stopped the game. Hey, hey, hey, man,
Starting point is 01:13:12 watch your damn mouth out here, man, I ain't want to say. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. I know, I know what to do to you now. I know what to do to you now. And in the heat about I get it, we compete and we play and pick up, you know, things
Starting point is 01:13:24 may not be going your way. Man, I stop playing. I ain't, man. I can't play with you, bro. I'm being about you out here. Like, I, that's, hey, Joe, I remember the first time I went up with the kids, they're grown. We go out to eat.
Starting point is 01:13:40 Like, what would you like to drink? They order an alcohol. I said, what y'all doing? They're like, Dad, we grown. Oh, Lord, have mercy. Hey, them older kids, boy. You can't tell you, Mojo? Huh?
Starting point is 01:14:00 I mean, my older girls? Yeah. Them three that's, we took about 20 and up. Oh, yeah. Oh, they drinking. Yes. Well, yeah, they drinking. I like, what you get that from?
Starting point is 01:14:13 I know they went to college Ocho and Joe, I know they drink. Yeah, yeah. I mean, but just not around me. That's all I'm saying, bro. But I was just like, I got, I got to let it, I'm like, ooh. Yeah. Ooh, but then, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:14:26 All that, but all that, all that cussing, that mo, ooh. I mean, hey, I let, hey, damn and hell and I let that slip, right. Yeah. But you thought, Mofo and, whoa, whoa, what the hell? Mm-mm, now, come on now. Me and my, my, my oldest son, they ain't played pickup in by three years. pick up in about three years man I'm serious because of that we go play pick up I'm talking about dude just cussing like I'm just one of his partners out here yeah
Starting point is 01:14:53 hey hey you like me okay I don't know what if you Joe I think something I think that's the thing be raised up in the South and raised up in that environment because my my uncles and aunts had kids of their own it wouldn't curse in front of my grade yeah that's what I'm saying I don't ever curse in front of my mom or my grandma no no no no I mean, we might say, I remember the time I said, ass in front of my grandma. My grandma said, what you say?
Starting point is 01:15:19 I said, ass in the Bible. She said, not in that context today. He said, he rolled one into the city. He's talking about it. But I'm like, oh, no, whoa, whoa, hold on now. Come on now. Yeah. I get, I understand you grown.
Starting point is 01:15:38 You know, you grown. I get that. Let's, hey, yeah, yeah, I'm still dead now. Yeah, there we go. we go. Kee in 1953 John Ocho, have you noticed big punchers
Starting point is 01:15:52 have suspect chance? For example, Tommy Hurons, Klishko, hit the canvas multiple times. Boy, they were fighting some folks though. Them they ain't just fight those. Yeah. Yeah. They were fighting some dogs, man. Yeah. You know, I mean,
Starting point is 01:16:08 the boy, look here. And you know, back there in the 80s, it wasn't nobody ducking. No, sir. Uh, Hurns and Hagler and Leonard and Duran, Iran, I ran Barclay, uh, you know, man, you had to fight. Don't boy, one of the audience. Nah, you couldn't get, you didn't get an opportunity to pick and choose. Well, I want to.
Starting point is 01:16:25 Right. No, no, no, no, no. Right. No, no, no. No. No. Uh, Mike, Mike, what up, big three for wilder next fight? Excuse me.
Starting point is 01:16:36 How about him and Jake Paul? No. No. No. Nah, no. Nah, cause I don't know if he go, he'll play a ride with him like a, uh, uh, like Joshua did. Yeah, no, I don't want to see that.
Starting point is 01:16:49 I watch him fight Joshua. Yeah, I would too. I watched that. Rayquine Howard, hey, Uncle Ocho, King, Isso, and still, hello. One only, Uncle Cho, do you believe Herman Moore should be in the Hall of Fame? Isso, did you ever match up against Flip Murray in the lead? Yeah, yeah, I matched with Flip.
Starting point is 01:17:11 Flip with my teammate at one point here in Atlanta. But I played against Flip when he was Flip when he was playing in Seattle when he, Ray Allen got hurt. This was 2004, 5. Ray Allen got hurt. Flip stepped in and, man, averaging about 24, 26 a game.
Starting point is 01:17:30 Damn. Y'all, he would get into that chicken. Ray, he was getting to that chicken. He wasn't playing Flip. Flip got game. He could play. He's from Philly. He got some game.
Starting point is 01:17:40 Ojo, you believe Herman Moore should be in the hall? Um, I don't do you remember her? Did you, you remember her? They played with Detroit with Johnny Morton. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, Scott Mitchell buried the backfield. Yeah. Brett Perriman also.
Starting point is 01:17:54 Yeah, Scott Mitchell was the quarterback. Yeah. Scott Mitchell came to you guys, didn't he? Yeah, he showed it. Yep, before Carson got there with Scott Mitchell and John Kidnam. Yeah, I think you should. Yeah. Tomorrow is my first family Easter dinner after losing my mama last June.
Starting point is 01:18:12 Any advice since I know you guys have dealt with something similar? Keep up the good work, fellas. I don't have any advice. Because since my grandmother passed, we ain't had it done. My grandmother passed in 2015, and we hadn't been together since. And there's a great chance we're not going to get together again. Hey, it ain't the same. Not, not obviously if there's, you know, funeral or something like that.
Starting point is 01:18:36 But just get together like how we used to get together. Don't happen no more. No. that's over. And I'm sad, but it is what it is. But I knew that. I knew once Granny passed
Starting point is 01:18:49 because the connection, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Because they're coming, okay, grand, grand, you know, and everybody's coming together, but there's really,
Starting point is 01:19:04 everybody's been away so long, Spanky's been away for so long. Yeah. It's kind of high. Yeah. It's just different. I mean, we used to get together all the time
Starting point is 01:19:15 before Sunday. Everybody would come over to Pocker. Papa's, you know. Eat, no. Come back. Yeah. Yeah, man. It ain't the same.
