Welcome to this show.
Hey, she probably, are you on mute?
Can you hear?
Oh, okay.
We got the ultimate champion, double gold medal
with a winning time of 1062 and 100 meters,
2147 into 200 meters into a negative 0.6 headwind.
Yeah.
If you flip that around, get the 6, the 0.06 out of back,
that's 21 low 23s.
21, I don't know, we might be talking about,
to wear a record, MJ.
What's going on?
Welcome to the show.
How's it going?
I'm doing great.
How surprised were you
that you ran that?
I don't think you're really shocked
that you won the race,
but I'm thinking you was shocked
with how fast you ran the race.
No, definitely.
I was like, once I crossed the line
and I saw that time,
I was like, oh, wow.
Did not think that was going to happen
that day.
But it's seen, look,
And we talked about this last year at the World Championship,
when you ran that 1061.
And you keep, look, you keep getting the right people in the race,
but you keep getting the wrong conditions for the damn race.
At some point in time,
we're going to have to get a plus tail win to give us a little boost
because there's no question of my mind.
I think it was negative six last time you ran the 1061.
You get a plus 06.
That's 1050.
That might be even 10.
Who knows?
World record.
Because we talked about this, MJ.
I said, if you get,
the St. Lucian, you get Julian Afra, you get Chikari, you get Clayton, who has a great start
that's going to pull you out of the blocks with her. And you got Julian Afford, who that last 50
meters, she's a beast, she's coming. You know she's coming. Everybody else knows she's coming.
We got world record potential. What's going on with the conditions? Why we can't get favorable
conditions? No, I don't know. Maybe it's being set up for like the right, at the right time or
something. I don't know.
But.
Because,
because you look at, uh, what was a couple
of, uh, what was that in Brussels?
That Messiah ran the twin, when, ran the,
the 12-0-9. And Zerick. Yeah.
And heralds.
Heralds. Okay. Yeah.
And I was like, man,
Malice, I ain't going to lie, Melissa.
I, I, I, I, cause you hadn't lost a
hundred meter race in over a year.
And then, uh, and then, uh, and then, uh,
Julian nipped you at the line.
And I was thinking to myself, I said, I don't believe Julia could be
a game.
I said, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know,
what happened because normally once you get out the block i've never seen you get chased down now
you've having some slow starts but now you're you're you're a good enough so you're a great
started you're teah tia clayton up she on another level i'm like damn if somebody pulling out of the
blocks or what's going on with that yeah no is there it was like it was one of those where you kind
of look at it and it's like okay i needed to lose the race in a sense because not that i was
getting comfortable or anything but you know it really just explode
It exposed some things that I needed to clean up within my own race.
So it was like better it happened now in Zurich where there's not a lot on the line versus it happened in like two weeks later in Budapest.
So, you know, that was probably the first race that I had that I had not came in first.
And I actually had a big smile across my face after the race was over because it was like, when you really look at it, I didn't lose by, I lost by like a couple thousandths of a second.
So I'm like, oh, correct.
Don't even worry about it.
Oh, you're like, you know, she's happy, she celebrated.
I got something fun.
We're not 150,000 on the line.
Yeah.
You're not going to be, because you're looking at it like 10 yards past the finish line.
There's a check for $150,000.
And it got Melissa Jefferson Wood.
It got my name on it.
Hello.
Ain't nobody going to be in that check.
You know what, MJ, I also think about when you cross the line,
when you run these times.
and you cross the line and it surprises you once you see what the time is.
Do you think you're surprised because of the field that you're running against and you run those times?
Or do you think your training regiment was a little different leading up to those races where you ran those excellent times?
I think it's a little bit of both because like all of the races that I'm in, right, they all high caliber, right?
I can't be in any of these races and not be either close to 100% or 100% because at,
at any given day it could be anybody's race.
So the fact that I, you know, come away from these races and, you know, I'm winning or I'm
finishing second place or whatever the case may be, like, that says a lot to the, you know,
the work that I'm putting in and, like, discipline and focus that I have towards each of
these races.
So I feel like it's kind of something that goes hand in hand because then also, too, like,
looking after Zurich, I decided not to run Diamond League Final.
And I took that whole week.
to Diamond League final, but I wasn't running.
I was just out there training.
Like, everybody else was getting ready to run away set weekend.
And I was just out there just, you know, enjoying myself, getting in good training.
Like, I knew exactly what I needed to work on going into Budapest.
So it was like a time for me to just sit back and, like, really examine everything.
And then be like, okay, when we get to Budapest, we know exactly what we need to do.
Hey, after winning 100 meters, how did you mentally reset and prepare, you know, to come back the very next day and dominate the 200?
How did you mentally?
Yeah.
So when I got out there, all I told myself was I just need to get through the semifinal.
So, you know, which that was a whole thing in itself.
Like everybody was like, oh, my gosh.
So this year with the ultimate championship, the 200 meter women and men, we got to pick.
our semifinal, yeah, and pick our lane.
So that's unheard of in track and field.
We don't get to do that.
It's normally like our agents doing that.
So when they had the lane draft, the day of the red carpet or whatever,
I picked second and I picked after Gabby Thomas and I went in the same heat as her.
So everybody was like, oh, my gosh, like she wants to smoke right now.
I'm like, oh, what is she doing?
Yeah, so I'll say this.
It didn't matter if, like, if Gabby would have picked first.
And so essentially how it happened, I was always going to pick heat one.
Whether she was in the first heat or not, like, I was always going to pick heat,
pick heat one because I had ran the day before.
And I was like, I just need more rest.
So when I came out there that Sunday, it was kind of like, okay, I just need to get through the semifinal,
you know, execute the first half of the race, back off, chill out,
and you let it rip when the final is time to come.
So that's what I did.
That's exactly what you do.
Go ahead, Ocho.
What do you want to ask?
You heard what she just said?
I'm going to back off and save something for the next race.
How do you balance?
How do you pick and choose when to turn it on and when to turn it off?
How do you do it depending on, you know, when you go through the rounds,
you go through the different heats?
How do you know when to tail off and when to go?
Well, it's really like just looking bigger picture, right?
You know, at the end of the day, if you want to be ultimate champion
and not only the 100 and 200, like you've got to be smart.
You got to be able to gain, right?
But essentially it's chestnut checkers, right?
So I could have easily gone out there and, you know, try to push all the way.
I could have easily done that.
But it's like in the grand scheme of things, that would have done nothing but hurt me.
Because I already had two extra rounds in my legs, whereas the women in the 200 necessarily didn't.
Right.
So it was like, okay, which one's more important?
The final, obviously.
So, you know, I did enough to make sure I was going to get a good lane.
And it was like, okay, cool.
And then I got a good, I got a good lane.
And with that, everybody was in front of me, too, so I could see everybody that I needed to see in that race.
So it was like, okay, bet.
Yeah, because I think the thing is, in the 200, you're like, okay, Dennis is probably telling you,
let's get out to like 150, see where we are, and then we can shut it down.
The 100 meters, you're like, look, I know, look, ain't nobody going to really see me.
I feel really good.
Like you said, it's all about preserving.
Because a lot of times we've seen, I've seen it, so.
many times, MJ, is that people get out and they run faster in the semifinals than they do in the
finals. Yeah.
Boy, you don't, you don't blew your wand. You blew your load in the semifinals. The objective is to
win. It is. And a lot of people don't, a lot of people don't understand that. But I think
they're getting a better understanding that now, you see guys, your top level guys that run,
and they're like, okay, I'm going to get out the first, if say you're running the 400, I'm going to get
out the first 300, look around, see where I am, and then I'm going to jog at home. But I just,
It's just baffling to me that I'm watching,
and I'm just hoping,
me and my brother was talking about this after you run
because he called me on the phone.
He said, man, you see a Jefferson one?
I said, yeah, I saw that.
He said, man, you think she can hold it till 28?
I said, look, this was supposed to be an off year.
And she ran the time that she ran an off year.
She's probably going to try to challenge
for the world record in 27
because they got the real world championships
and 27 leads into 28.
So normally 26 is an even number year
It's an off year for tracking field
That's why you don't see a lot of the big dolls necessarily compete
But for $300,000 she said man
I'm gonna get all this money
Now, thanks I'm like okay
I came on my first race of the year
Which crazy enough this is the latest I've ever started
I started in June
I had my first race in June
I lost to Julian in the 200
But it was my fastest
this 200 meter opener ever, right?
So it was like I was out here doing things I had never done before.
I never started that late.
But I also never ran that fast for it to be my first race of the year.
And so like what I kept telling myself throughout the year is like, okay, yeah, like you
think this isn't off here, but it ain't.
These folks is out here running.
So you got to be ready to run too.
But the one thing that I am really happy for is like going to your question about, you know,
am I going to be able to hold it until
2008 is that I didn't run only but
12 races this year.
So, you know, as far as, you know,
putting like a lot of, what's the word I'm looking for?
Yeah, wear and tear on my body.
There isn't really a lot of that.
And so then obviously going into 2027 and 2028,
like the thing is going to be like you're probably going to see me do it a lot
is how I race or when I race,
whatever the case may be like i'm going to be very strategic and when i do that because at the end of
day like the goal all of this isn't for nothing right and so you know the hype of it is like yeah
you want to go to china and defend your title and things like that but everybody's looking
towards 28 right so finding a way to you know still do the things that i need to do in the year
that's coming up but then also looking bigger picture too down the line of like what i do and what
i don't need to do like i've already been thinking gear's been spinning
Yeah.
Because the last time the Olympics were held on American soil in 1984, we swept it.
The men and the women swept the hundred and two hundred.
Flojo and Carl Lewis.
That's with Flojo.
No, Flojo was sold.
My bad.
It was, who was 84?
84 was Valerie Briscoe Hooks won the 200.
And I think Evelyn Ashbert.
84.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But not in.
I think Evelyn.
Yes, it was Evelyn.
Because Flojo, Flojo is in sole.
where she broke the world record 200 at 2134.
That was sold and she also won the 100.
But I know Carl, Carl swept it.
And then we swept, I think we swept, what you call it?
We swept, we swept, we got one, two, three into 200 and the million.
I know Valerie because Valerie did what Michael Johnson did in 96,
won the 200 and the 400.
She was the first to do it.
And then Marie-Jose-Paret did it.
she did it in
did she do it in 96?
I think she did it in 96 too.
Or was it 2000?
I think, well, in the 100
I know
Gail won, Gail Dever's won
in 96.
Gail won in 92.
Oh, 92 and 92.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Because remember, she stumbled
in the hurdles.
She should have won both of them
and she clipped the last hurdle.
And so that was in
92 was in Barcelona.
So I remember that.
Limp for Christie won the 192.
Yeah.
Yeah, he did.
Yeah, he did.
For the men.
But I'm just,
so when you say you're going to be very strategic
about how you plan out 27 and 28.
So are you going to be doing like choose one?
Like, okay, I run the 100 this time.
I run the 200 next time.
Or you're not going to be looking to,
I mean, because they don't really have the,
you're not going to be looking to double in very many races.
No, not really, not a lot.
And so, like, one thing that we have talked about, too, so, like, if you're the
Rainier World Champion, you get the automatic buy to the next.
You get an automatic.
Yeah, so, like, one thing that I've talked about doing is, you know, maybe, because at USA
championships, you just have to show fitness in one of the races to be able to, you know,
use your buy or whatever the case may be.
So, like, I've thought about as far as, like, maybe running around of each two, of each
the 100 and 200 and then just doing that
like not even trying to like compete for
a title or anything but just
you know to get that in my legs to get the feeling
of it and then go back on but
really just still looking just being smart
because the turnaround time
I'm going to have from world championships to
when we're going to have to start training
again for
the Olympic year is going to be
really really short because
the world championships
is normally in September whereas
Olympic trials in 28 is
going to be in June. So we've gotten on this track of being used to having our trials in like
August or July. And so now it's going to shoot all the way back up to June. So that's going to
change a lot of things too. Go ahead, Ocho. I'm looking up something right quick.

Here's what you missed.
And the argument is, do you want to win?
If you don't win, you have no power.
Real. Those are the very people who I always say vote against their own economic interests,
and they complain about the very thing they're receiving. It's raw. I knew that the issue of transgender
athletes was not going well with a lot of black men. Roland Martin unfiltered. I went off,
I said, this is exactly what I'm talking about. Y'all going to scream at Chanel, but you don't want

Yeah, Evelyn Nashua did win the 100 meters in 1984.
I thought she did.
I know Valerie Briscoll who doubled.
That was the first time a woman had ever doubled, and then Marie-Jose-Perec.
has also done it.
So now what do we do?
We go back to South Carolina.
We get some oxtails, some rice.
I mean, what we do with this thing?
I got a couple of, I got a couple of soul food spots now.
I'm going back to South Carolina.
Next weekend, I'm going to this, to the Rams versus Giants game on Monday.
It's going to be fun.
And then I'm going to go and do kids clinic back home in my hometown.
And then I'm going to take a couple weeks before I get to,
to the start of the launch of my nonprofit,
the Village Initiative Incorporated.
So we're going to have the launch coming up in October.
And yeah, I'm excited.
Busy, busy off season, but all good stuff.
So how soon will you start preparing?
Because you're not going to do the indoor season, right?
No.
Okay.
So now how soon before you're, so you're done until January?
I mean, what you're going to do, do a little couple of 400s,
just jog to keep your legs loose.
So how, so what do we do now?
It's your off season.
you're not going to do the indoor season
and what, I mean, what April,
April is when the outdoor seasons
to keep up? So what do you do between nine and then?
We'll start, because I don't do indoor, like,
and our coach, shout out to Dennis.
He does a really good job of, like,
giving our body actually a good amount of time
to actually, like, rest and recover.
So we won't start back fall training
until November sometime,
anywhere between the beginning to the middle
or to the
like the week of Thanksgiving
is when we'll start back training
and things like that but yeah
and then won't touch a
because we always start off in the grass
with all training so we won't touch a track
for sure probably until like new years
wow
the prize money
because that's always been the thing like man
you know track and field athletes
you know the money is not like it is
in other sports and it's an individual sports
it's a very very lonely sport
Yeah, you have teammates, but it's you versus the clock.
And it's not a whole lot of prize money, you know, a $10,000 or $20,000 to the winner when you put all that training in.
Because you're professional.
You don't have another job.
It's not like I work at home.
I got, you know, $150,000 of your job at Home Depot or Lowe's or anything like that.
You win, you make money.
You don't win.
You don't make money.
It's not that complicated.
No, not that complicated and very, very,
very simple very cutthroat at times this is kind of like well that's and that's the other thing with it
too right it's like the more you win the the more opportunities you have so like there are there are
times in this sport where if you're not running fast you you have either your agent um asking people
to let you in the meets whereas if you're running really fast or whatever the case may be like
you have meets that are actually inviting you to come and run at their meets and things like that so
So, yeah, and pay.
So, like, literally essentially getting paid to show up.
So, like, having a meet like this, like the ultimate championship where, you know, essentially
you run two rounds of one event and you get the chance to win $150,000.
And then, so, like, for me, I doubled, right?
Which is like, okay, if I'm doubling, I'm going to business and go home.
Like, what are you?
Yeah.
It's a day, by well.
Yes.
I say, hey, you should have jumped in the phone running.
Say, hey, let me try to get COVID.
I understand Paulino, Madderley, Palino,
you've been running and Nasser, I get all that.
But I'm trying to get out all this,
but I'm trying to get out of this.
And then that was a good thing about it, too,
like even down to, because they take the top 16
world ranked out of each event.
So even if you came 16, you still got a little bit of something.
So you didn't leave empty handed.
But, you know, I'll say how long.
the time, like, it's a step in the good, it's a good step in the right direction. Obviously, like,
our sports still have a lot of leaps and bounds that they need to make in order to be considered,
um, like, truly professional. And it's so crazy because, like, when you look at it, a lot of
times, like, our sport is still considered an amateur sport, right? And especially when it's looked at
towards, um, the Olympic Games and things like that, which is just because, like you said,
we put in so much work. We run these fast times. We, you know, try to get, um, you know,
try to etch our name and history in some sense and run all of these fast times and sometimes
it's still not seen as enough or it just seems as like you know you're supposed to do that
and oh well you'll just continue to do the same things over and over again but it's like no you know
eventually we should get to the point to where you know we're kind of sick and tired of things being
the same and so I feel like some people in our sport are starting to get that feel of like you know
the athletes really aren't going for that anymore or
whatever the case may be.
And so, like, when there are new things that come about, you know, like, I'm open to it and things like that, as long as it makes sense, as long as it's something that, you know, is not only going to benefit me, but benefit the sport as a whole.
And, you know, the other thing that sucks about our sport, too, is that our community is so small, right?
So any little thing, and you have these people who have, sometimes you have people who've been in the sport for so long.
so they don't want to necessarily see a change or, you know,
they're holding on to what things used to be like and things like that.
So you have this like tug and pull of, you know,
where the sport should be going versus where it is.
So, you know, hopefully, hopefully I can be a part of that, you know,
change and, you know, getting it to where it needs to be a little bit piece by piece,
but getting there.
A few more questions, MJ.
When you look at Jacobi Tharps 1,12, 75, and the man's 110,
you see Massai Russell go
1209
You see Kevin Chenippy
Go 439
And you see O'Gazi
Go 43 38
You see two world record
Broken I think somebody broke
The mile
I think Josh Kerr broke
The mild world record
He says he's going to challenge
The 1500 meter
World Record
held by Hockamel Gerooch
When you see all these world records
Falling you're like
Hmm
Let me see
What do I have up my sleeve
Listen
So
when I was when I was in college me and my husband at the time well we will always do this thing to
where like we'll say crazy things like oh you know maybe if you just you know run 10 7 or you know run 10 6 or
something and then we'll just laugh it off right so now we've gotten to the point to where he'd be like
you know if you just go out there and run 1037 or something like that you know and I'm like yeah
maybe maybe so maybe I might try to do that or something like that but you know like you said like
hearing all of those things and knowing that it is possible, like records that are, that have
been out there for years, um, that have now fallen. I was at the race, or I was at the meet where,
um, Maasai broke the 100 meter hurdle record and then Alison Dos Santos, he broke the 400
meter world record in the same meet. And, you know, I know both of them on a personal level and I
know how hard they work. So, you know, to see them do that, it just does nothing but excite me,
be not only for them, but, you know, just to see, like,
like our sport still has a lot of good things that can come out of it.
Like, our sport isn't dying the way that it may feel like sometimes
or whatever the case may be.
But, like, seeing all of those things fall, like, I'm like, I really do hope.
I hope and pray that I'm one of the ones to do it next.
Right, right.
I'm not going to lie.
I didn't think in my lifetime I would see somebody get close to a flojo,
But we've seen Elaine Thompson.
We've seen her go 1054.
The 1049 is the record in 100 meters.
We saw Sharika Jackson.
What she go, 2141.
And the record is 2133, 2134.
So you're close.
Now, I don't know if this might be too far in advance.
But in 2029, the world championships is Nairobi.
Altitude, 6,000.
We know the world records that were broken in Mexico,
city in 1968, people were leaping out of the pit, Bob Beam and go to 22.
The legendary Kip Kino, what's the guy's name, to run the 400 meter hurdles?
Lee Evans, Sr.
Set the world record in the, I mean, are you trying to win that long?
You say, nah, I'm trying to get 27.
I'm trying to get me a world record.
Listen, I'm trying to just, I'm trying to just get it done and over with that.
I feel like that way is like, I mean, if it happens, if it happens twice, so be it.
But, you know, it's so crazy because, like, I'd be seeing some of the comments and stuff
on Twitter and now and I'm back on there.
So when they announced that it was going to be in Nairobi, somebody was like, this is going
be MJW coming through the line at 1039 at altitude, whatever the case may be.
And I'm like, you know, it just makes me smile to know that some people out there really think,
you know, that I can achieve it or whatever the case may be.
But it's also just a testament of, you know, the hard work that I'm going to.
putting in it and it's actually starting to show.
So, you know, makes me know that I'm doing something right.
There's not been very many women, MJ that's run 1061, followed up with a
win legal sent 1062 into negative headwinds and you run, you know, 2147.
There haven't been very many women to be it to say I've done that.
You've done that and you started the season because man, my brother was talking.
He's like, bro, she's starting the season running 1079.
What the hell she goes from here?
You don't start the season with 1070.
You start the season with 1090.
You don't start the season with the times that you started the season with.
You're one of the greats.
Your career is far from over.
We hope you got another at bare minimum, another three years because I would love to see you running.
Thank you.
But where would you rank yourself now as far as women, you know, great women American sprinters?
Where would you put yourself?
Well, I mean, right now, like, see me too.
I'm also like a stats person, and I don't give myself as much credit as I do most of the time.
But I would say that, you know, where I am right now, like I'm sitting right behind,
I'm sitting right behind Shelly when it comes to the 100.
Because obviously, too, like she still had that, she had that season where she went 10-6 all year.
Every race that she ran, she went 10-6, like that.
That is something that's like nobody's ever done, right?
And so, you know, I've had some of my own success in that way and in a different way.
Like, I went undefeated all of last year or whatever the case may be.
And, you know, I've, I think I'm the only person other than Shelley now who's ran 10-6 in back-to-back seasons.
So, you know, like when you start to put those types of things into perspective, I think I'm getting there.
I think the only thing now that it'll kind of like make me want to push myself above a Shelley or a
lane um at this point would be Olympic gold right you know getting getting that i think i think right now
that's the that's the big goal on the list you know because the one thing about it is too is like
i've never been one to really really really focus on time you know i'm all about how i execute my
race and you know i feel like or i know that if i execute my race the way that i need to then the
time will will come so um yeah i feel like right now i'm about i'm behind shabre i'm
Yeah, I was about to say, I think she's the greatest woman sprint of all times based on the Olympic gold medal.
She's won back to back in four and eight.
I think, you know, you look at Elaine Thompson, she's right there.
But when you look at, when you look at Shelly Ann and you look at what she was able to do, the big global meets, the Mommy Rocket showed up.
The world championships.
There was a big meet.
In big meets, the global meets, the world championship in the Olympics, Shelly and had shared them.
Shirley and Fraser Price did not disarm.
Absolutely. And I think that's the greatest thing you can say about an athlete is that when the
money was shoved to the middle of the table, she came up big time. And such a long career,
she was still, I mean, at her age, she was still running 10-7. Yes. And that was the other thing,
too. It's like she ran 10-6. That was on the back end of her career. And after she had a,
after she had a child, like insane, mind-boggling. Are you getting some ideas?
Are you trying to give some ideas, MJ?
What you're trying to say?
No, no.
However, the studies have shown, though,
once women have babies, they get superpowers.
So, you know.
Wow.
I ain't going to say something, but there was, there was, there was,
I'll talk about that with you guys after you get up there
because I don't want, I don't want you to get involved up with what Ocho and Joe and I
are going to be talking about.
But I, but I've heard, I've heard, I've heard, I've heard.
Man, MJ, thank you so much for joining us.
we really, really appreciate.
You know, we love having you on the show.
You are you one of our favorites.
Thank you for having me.
Thank you for having me.
Oh, yeah.
Thank you.
I appreciate that.
Enjoy your off-season and congratulations.
I will.
Thank you guys.
Congrats.
Congrats.
All righty.
Man, that's Melissa Jefferson Wooden.

Here's what you missed.
And the argument is,
do you want to win?
If you don't win,
you have no power.
It's real. Those are the very people who I
always say vote against their own economic
interest and they complain about the very
thing to receive. It's raw. I knew
that the issue of transgender
athletes
was not going well
with a lot of black men.

off, I said, this is exactly what I'm talking about.

And we're the hosts of the Stuff to Blow Your Mind podcast.
This week on the show, it's Star Trek.
So we're going to be talking about the Borg all week long.
Are you ready to get some probes put in your flesh?
That's right.
Tune in. Resistance is futile.
We're going to talk science, the culture of the Borg, various interpretations,
and we're going to talk about Star Trek First Contact on Weird House Cinema on Friday.

I don't know if it was the, it was reported.
I don't know if it, I think it was the East Germans that the women were getting.
getting pregnant and then they would abort the child.
I mean, you have to go back and read the studies.
Well, because they say after women have the kid,
they become stronger.
Wow.
That's what I'm just saying, if you go back and read the report.
I don't know if it was the East Germans
or I know if it was the Russian,
but allegedly that's what they were doing
because they had this big doping thing.
Because the East Germans and the Russian,
they were just blowing it away.
I mean, look at the time.
Look at the time.
Look who got the records.
Matarina coat, 4760.
Nobody had even come close to that until sitting in the World Championship last year ran 4778.
Look at Crutchapelowa.
That 153, that would look how long she's been there.
Prior to that, there's not going to be two women ever go under 48.
Yeah.
And that was back in the 80s.
These ladies weren't even born then.
Look at the time that they were running.
Look at the shot point.
Ain't nobody going to break that woman's shot, but record.
I'll be looking at the record than women sitting.
What they was running.
Man, they need to get out of here with this.
He didn't get out of it with this.
But no, you need to, guys read that report.
You know, I mean, it's probably not something that really interests y'all,
but I was interested in, I love track and field.
You can tell how excited I get when I talk track and field
and talk to those athletes because that's my favorite sport.
That's the only sport that I'll listen to with sound.
No other sport that I listen to with sound.
I don't give it down with board riding, football, basketball, tennis.
I don't care about none of that.
Damn, hey.
Track and field.
I could tell.
Hell, I don't think me and Ocho got a damn question in.
I had a few questions.
I wanted to ask a couple questions.
Damn, I ain't get one question in, Melissa.
You got the question.
You asked a question.
Hey, Joe.
What's up?
I got my question in early.
I know I'm going to get it when it come to track.
You see how you do when it comes to track?
Yeah, yeah.
That's Ocho and soccer.
Hey, soccer.
When we talk soccer, we talk boxing.
Yeah.
Hey, Joe, I'm going to take over, Joe.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I get excited.
I wish we can get Renardo and Messi on here.
Oh, man.
All right, now, boy, you're talking something different now.
Hey, that's a...
Hey, listen, we get Ronald from Messia on here.
We might, what did you say?
10 million, 10 million subscribers get you, get you what?
Diamond.
We'll be diamond the next day if they come on here.
We'll be diamond that night.
It might crash the site.
They crashed the site.
What they?
Hey, we've got breaking news. Coach Prime is 10 toes down again.
Take a look at what Coach Prime had to say.
So your toes are in here.
I'll let you open them up for you.
Well, I'm excited.
You get the first look, the first peek.
You got to wrap them up like that gift.
It is.
Oh my God.
That's a nice toenail.
We had the old video.
That's nice.
This is hilarious.
Shallow would be screaming right now.
Shalowl this to you.
I like that.
All right, now we got to learn how to put it on.
Wow.
Now I got to get those straight now.
That's crazy.
I'm 10 toes down again.
He's banging a game.
What a song.
We'll straighten those up.
Wow.
That's a surgery though.
Okay, I see you, Prime.
A, Prime, when you see this, now you got tent toes.
Now we can line it up.
Huh?
We can line it up.
I like that man.
Congratulations on that man.
Hey, that's dope.
That's dope.
Boy, can't they do, look at medicine.
Look at what the God is, God is put these dogs in,
got his foot looking just like it was.
He got a whole, he got, he got 10 toes.
I mean, think about that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey, listen.
Hey, we can get to the moon, but we can do anything.
Oh, for sure.
For sure.
Man, that was a, uh,
He got 10 toes down again.
We can't, we can't join, Coach, no, Bo.
You got 10 toes for real.
Now, he locked back in.
He back in.
Hey, listen, he line up, man.
I get that little, I get that little thing fall right off.
Now he'd be back at eight.
Oh, man, come on.
Chill, chill, chill, you got a chill.
Hey, now Coach can enter our ass kicking contest before he couldn't enter no ass kicking
contests.
Now it's time to play a fade presented by prize picks.
Oh, we're about to get this money.
It's easy money.
Josh Allen, 250.5 yards, more or less, Joe.
What are you playing here, though?
They play Detroit.
In Detroit.
They play in Buffalo, open up their new stadium.
Oh, they're playing in Buffalo.
Why?
Yep.
Okay.
Yeah, more.
I'm going more, too.
Hell, if Tyler shook threw for 410,
he should have at least 300.
Josh Allen, fantasy score.
He'll have more than 23 points.
23 fantasy points, more or less than 23 fantasy points.
More, more.
I agree.
Josh Allen, point five touchdowns.
He'll have more or less than 0.5 touchdowns.
Come on, man.
You know that man going to have more.
Jared Gough, 36 or more pass attempts.
More or less than 36 pass attempts.
That's a lot of pass attempts, ain't it?
That is a lot of pass attempts.
You got to answer this one.
I don't know.
They threw me forward.
I think I'm going to go more for the simple fact.
I think they're going to be behind.
Oh, no, he's going to have to, he's going to have to throw him.
Okay, okay.
Jamir Gibbs, 0.5 touchdowns.
He'll have more than less than 0.5 touchdowns.
Yeah, he'll have at least a touchdown.
That boy, that boy, that boy, yeah.

It's time for our final segment of evening.
It's time for Q.
And A.
Dr. Frankie L. Bellamy says,
Oh, you see how nice I was when the Broncos lost?
I didn't say a word.
I expect the same courtesy with my Cowboys play again.
Just play.
I love y'all.
Doc, you know that happened.
You probably was going to bed, Doc.
I was glad you was going to bed.
But y'all better win this week.
Y'all better win this week.
Say less.
Say less.
I saw a real brother the way he hopped up with Ocho got scoop.
That joke was just there sitting there waiting on bud to slap him and 50,900 to fall out
his pocket.
And you know, hey, you know, you know, Un can't get up too fast, nah.
Hell, nah.
I can't get up too fast.
Joe, you were dead, Joe.
Hey, hey, hey, could get what?
You know why I was that?
Because I was thinking to myself, I'm the only one who can do Ocho ass like that.
I ain't going to let nobody else do you like that.
Right, right.
Right, right.
You ain't going to let nobody else do you like that.
Yeah.
Yeah, I appreciate that.
What you said about your co-host on Stephen A. Smith show show you with 100.
You discussed loyalty over money and appreciation from the boast of the co-host.
Absolutely.
I mean, look, we joke a lot, but we sincerely get along with each other.
Yeah.
We're a lot more similar than not.
I had to keep you more old-schooled in Ocho.
Yeah.
But no, we get along great.
I mean, it's a great, and I think hopefully the chemistry comes through.
You got an opportunity to see how we are we interact with one another.
We genuinely like hanging out with each other sometimes.
Ocho will hang out all the time.
You know, hey, Ocho be wanting to party and you got to tell him no.
Big three, what's up?
With everything going on, MacLamore, Azisha here,
and Cap with these books release pro-slebs,
how do you feel obligated to speak on issues
when it could hurt your pockets?
Well, that's a very fine line.
Yeah.
And certain things, Ocho and I,
we've just come to the conclusion that we agreed
that we weren't going to talk about it.
We got into a little trouble last year.
We spoke about some issues,
and we don't want to call no names,
but that's why sometimes we're not able to get
some of the athletes that we would like to have
because their agents won't allow them to come on.
So it is what it is.
But everybody got two eyes.
Everybody can see what's going on.
If you say something, they'll shut you out.
Yep.
All right.
So we've been hearing you hit the melodies in the black church.
If you can sing, they call it you up.
They called you up.
What song would they make you sing or what song did you sing?
Did you sing?
Uh, man, they wouldn't call me up to do like a solo.
My grandma knows she knew better than that now.
She ain't gonna call me up with no solo.
But listen, when we're up in that choir, my lips better be moving.
I better be singing.
She better hear something come out.
You know what I'm saying?
That's, it was like that, bro, because I come, you know, she was the lead singing
the choir, Uncle Ocho.
So you got to think, bro, anybody under that, I mean, my grandma,
Grandpa was a deacon, he in the pool pit, he'll usher, you know what I'm saying?
Like, we locked it.
Boy, you got to do something.
You definitely got to get up there and say that Easter speech.
I don't know what happened.
You got to get up there and say that.
Oh, yeah, it was different, bro.
It was different.
But now, I ain't had no solos, but I was up there.
I was up there singing, hold my own, bro.
Yeah, you had to lead devotional service,
said the Easter speech.
You had to pray every night and then.
You had to be an usher.
You had to be, me and my brother with junior deacons.
I was a good deacon, too.
Yeah.
Del Toro 428.
I, be careful.
Your criticism might rub DeShan the wrong way.
I see what you did there.
You see what he did there?
Talk about rub the Sean the wrong way.
Del Tori, thank you slick.
He slick.
He slick.
Hey, Ocho, we with you.
We are, we with you real man.
He isn't afraid to get a little blood on the sword.
If you know, you know.
But Sunday, your ass, the bingles.
taking that L.
Hey, let me tell you something.
I mean no disrespect.
I'm sure we got a lot of Texans fans that send the chat.
I had nothing but respect for y'all as fans.
That's your team.
And I'm coming here with respect.
I'm a knock on your dough.
I'm a knock on your dough.
And when you let me in,
I'm going to be cordial long as you show me some hospitality.
Huh?
But we're going home with that W.
You hear me?
Okay.
All right.
Oh, Joe, it's just hard for me to bleed.
They're going to start the season 0 and 2 with both games at home.
George is hard finding out and two A of C losses.
I don't see it.
Let me tell you,
it ain't hard to believe.
It ain't hard to believe.
And if it's hard to believe,
we're going to make a believe out of you.
Okay, okay.
Huh?
All right.
Okay.
I don't,
don't piss me off.
All right.
Sam LeGray at 89 said,
if you ain't ready to run through a brick wall
after the way Uncle was preaching right now,
that's that real cold shab.
Hello.
Hello.
Jeff George never showed emotion on the feet.
Man, Philly talked with PA.
That's why Jalen Hurts is QB1, even killed through highs and lows.
He absolutely is.
Yeah.
Yep.
Brandon Bartydez 56-57.
Oh, talking like if the Broncos ain't gonna go 0 and 6.
Man, we ain't going to 0 and 6.
We're about to get off the snide this week.
Who y'all got, huh?
The Jags.
Ooh.
I don't know.
I don't know, bro.
I don't know.
You just worry about,
I bet you won't start Trevor Lawrence over that.
Who we played?
The commanders at home, no, I am not.
Okay, I appreciate that.
Orchua ain't lied.
They call it CSI in Miami-Dade County.
Yeah.
Damn.
If no playoffs is Herbert or head coach on the hot seat,
what happened to Jamar?
Lines or bills and why?
What do the Cowboys need to do with fix ASAP,
Lamar, MB3?
No, I don't, I don't, I personally do not think,
Harbaugh would be on the hot seat.
I don't think Herbert is on the hot seat.
That's just me.
Bills, Lions of Bills, I'm taking the Bills at home.
New stadiums, it's going to be going crazy.
Josh Allen is going to be Josh Allen.
I don't know, man, it could go both,
it could go either way, though.
Who!
The Bills?
All right.
Joe, why you got that kid?
What the Cowboys need to do, Joe?
What the Cowboys need to do?
Damn, man, our defense got to be better, guys.
Our defense got to be better on, Ocho.
I mean, you can't now, but it's different, bro.
You can't let no one damn play go down.
You go right down the field and scope, bro.
And in a pivotal moment, like, come on, man.
We had so many turning points in that game that could have got us to ball back on offense defensively.
We just, we got to be better.
Got to be better.
Filt and Magnasty question.
Ocho said, don't sleep on the Jets.
Is there another team we should not be sleeping on?
Much love.
Who y'all like?
Who should we be sleeping on?
I mean, I only got the Jets so far.
I mean, the Panthers and the Bears
are going to pick up where they left off last year.
I just got the Jets just doing something
that a lot of people wouldn't think because it's the Jets.
I think for me, I think personally,
I'm not going to be surprised if the Jags win that division this year.
They just fell apart last year.
Remember the jazz got out to a great start.
Really good start.
And they just kind of fell apart.
Yeah.
Girls who love sport.
Iso and Iso and Ocho.
Those legs were looking nice in Vegas.
My eyes were glued to the TV.
That don't make me no bad sister.
L.O.L. Oh, your turn.
Love y'all.
I so don't trip.
We steal the boys.
Man, I had on shorts,
when I was talking to Jocelyn Hernandez,
Ocho, Joe.
What happened, man?
Man, she's out of trade.
Wait, you talk about, Jocelyn, you're talking about the one from Miami?
Yeah.
Yes.
Oh, wait, hey, what, Josh, boy?
It was different, oh, Cho.
Hey, she's a trip.
She a trip, boy.
Huh?
Is she a trip?
Ooh, Lord.
Hey, I.
She cut up?
Did she?
Yeah.
People asking me, told my, man, how you let her, how you let her, where that what she got?
Man, what I'm supposed to do?
I can't tell people what they care and can with her.
That's about how you let her.
What I'm supposed to do?
Hey, I had to go in there and change.
You ain't coming on here and dress like that.
Man, she had me crack it up, man.
Oh, man.
You see it, don't know what she said.
What?
She was dancing in Miami.
Somebody gave her $350K.
At King of Diamonds.
I don't know where it was.
I'm telling you where it was.
And this one, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was,
this way back in the day, uh,
her name, but, uh, Dan's name was, I never forget,
Dan's name was Chanelica back then.
Shenelica, yeah.
Yeah.
That's, hey, that's, hey, that's,
she's pregnant, but you can tell she was pressure.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that's back in the day when, uh,
when tip drill, uh, Joe, and, uh,
who, okay.
People flying from out of town to come see tip drill.
We told me entertainment.
Yeah, she was, hey,
She was one of them ones, but.
Hey, boy, that's that after dog.
That's that after dog.
But you're talking about when that tip drill were coming on,
you, that's a dog.
No, no, that's her name.
Her dance name was tip drill.
Oh, she was getting down for her crown.
Man, she, man, listen, if you,
I don't care, how much you got in your park.
When she hit that stage, boy, you're throwing everything.
Damn.
They covered up out of there?
Yeah.
Yeah.
That was her name, Mocho.
Hey, let me, let me give you an example, Joe.
You know how, when you, when you,
When you watch Chris Brown perform, he puts on the show.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Biont perform.
She puts on the show.
Yeah.
When Tip Drew hit the stage, boy, she puts on the show.
It ain't normal standing, shaking, no.
I'm talking about on the pole, tricks, sliding to the top, sliding all the way to the-
She'll let herself go on the pole.
I'm talking about drop, I'm talking about drop and stop right before she hit the flow.
I'm talking about head first.
Oh, man.
It was stupid.
It was stupid.
Yeah, they'd be selling your dream in there now.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they'll say your dream, but I ain't buying.
Some of them got the muscles.
Oh, I saw one pick up a dollar bill on Joe, spit out four quarters.
Man, you got a cheer.
I swear to God, Joe, I swear for a God and two white.
I swear I saw it.
He picked it up.
I said what?
Hey, you ever seen that, you ever seen the young lady?
I don't know on stage name,
but she got the candle
and she know how to blow fire.
You ever seen that one?
Uh-uh.
She made a blow it out,
blow it out with it.
She could blow the candle out with it.
No,
no, no, no, no.
She-
Yeah, Joe.
Yeah, you ain't seen that, Joe?
No, I ain't seen that.
Man, boy, yeah, yeah,
I ain't, I ain't seen no free.
Boy, that's when they used to get that,
hey, that's when they used to get down.
Yeah.
$10 for the top,
$10 for the bottom was all
to get those draws to fall.
That's what they did.
I seen them pick up bottles.
I seen them pick up bottles with you.
No, Joe, she picked up a dollar bill.
Spit out four quarters.
How you go, pooh.
How you do that?
I like that.
You got that gripple.
You ain't got no video?
Oh, bad, look here.
Woo.
Hey, Joe, I got to see that, Joe.
Pick up a dollar bill and spit four quarters out.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I like that.
Damn.
Slow down now.
Hey.
I'm just saying I ain't never seen that, Joe.
That sounds exciting.
Okay.
All right.
No, Joe, hey, if she got that cat,
if she got them, Kago muscle like that,
that I don't want no part of.
Hey, I don't want no party that I just want to see.
Hey, hey, like that thing got a heartbeat.
Yeah, man, look here.
What's up, Big Three?
Why y'all still talking about the quarterback?
Cleveland could all 32 first round picks,
draft the quarterback, everyone.
and still be scouting for a quarterback by week six.
At this point, QB ain't the problem.
The helmet is the curse.
He ain't lying, boy.
Probably got a point for real.
ISO, what are your thoughts on NAS,
the 1B1 baller, calling out McHournell
saying he could beat him no problem
on the Pat Bell podcast?
Tell me by TJ McConnell, the point guard for Indiana.
I like Nas.
Nass tough in that one-on-one space.
and that space is a little different,
okay, Ocho, you know,
I think for hoopas who really go into that space,
whether you're playing the NBA or whatnot,
right.
It's the way they ref it,
because it's a lot more physical than what you think.
So certain calls where you think you'll probably get them,
you may not get them, bro.
You know what I mean?
But I like the confidence that Nas had,
but I also know T.J. McCona,
he ain't no pushover, bro.
That, hey, hey, that boy can get down.
You hear me?
That boy can get down, man.
So I don't know.
I don't know if it ever happened though.
Joe, you pay attention to the one-on-one league
sometimes, you know some of them boys?
Yeah, yeah, I pay attention to the one-on-one league.
Okay, Ocho, I might be, I might try to get up in there.
You know what I mean?
I might, you know.
Are you seen the do school play before?
Yeah, I like school.
I like school.
School, school can go, Ocho.
He can go.
You go, hey, hey, when you play against school,
you gotta have some endurance, bro.
bro. If you ain't got no endurance, straight up.
Because he probably, honestly,
he probably, in that one-on-one space,
he's probably in the best shape out of all those.
Everybody.
He may not be the most skillful guy in the space,
but he went a lot of his games up
because he's going to have work your ass.
You know what I mean?
Like, he got that body, that frame.
Like, he can, he like energize a bunny, bro.
He can, he keep going and going.
Like, when them dudes get tired,
he still feel like he fresh or he looks fresh.
I love watching school play.
Hey, Uncle, Ocho,
hey, Iso, when Shannon Brown blocked Mario West,
was that the highest you've ever seen a man
jump in a game that you played in?
Man, I remember that like it was yesterday.
We were playing the Lakers in L.A.
Yeah.
Cannon Brown and Mario West.
Mario West, my guy, Ocho.
He came down on a break.
I guess he didn't see Shannon Brown.
Man, Shannon Brown, I'm talking about it.
It looked like he touched the top of the backboard
the way he blocked that boy.
He's like, damn.
Yeah.
They should let that slide just on GP because they were so high up.
They called a foul on him.
But that wasn't no file, ISO.
No, it wasn't no file on.
That boy, hey, that boy got some.
That boy has some batteries in his legs.
You hear me?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Man, check this out.
Debating to a, debating with a coworker right now,
if God gave you six inches to use whatever you wanted,
you applied it to your height or your manhood.
That's a good one.
That's a good one.
I mean, I'm going to high.
I'm good everywhere else.
You're going height?
Yeah.
Six inches.
What that'll make you?
That'll make you.
Seven feet.
Seven feet.
So, Ocho, about to be, about to be six, five, six, six, six.
I'm six three already.
Six three?
Yeah.
Yeah, man, you know.
I'd be, yeah, I'd be by seven feet.
What'd you're going to do, huh?
Because I'm going to wear my boots, too.
So I'm going to be seven feet.
Oh, you already.
They never harm nobody.
They never harmed nobody.
Hey, y'all, y'all shout out.
Hey, Joe, you can't be, hey, you about to be out there like, what you call him?
You had six inches to your height, you're gonna be out there like Wimby.
Well, hey, I'm trying to, hey, I'd be trying to get some back pay.
I'll be overseas or something.
Oh, you're going back in the NBA, Joe?
I'll probably go overseas.
I go overseas and play run, run it up.
run it up.
But no, what you call them?
Go to the 303, go to the 303.
Go to Ice Cube, big three.
I don't, I don't dominated that.
I didn't been done that,
what else I want for me?
I mean,
Kuhayne out with my FOMO MVP.
You make it sound like you're not going back, Joe.
I ain't say that.
I'm just saying like, when I go back and do that,
you know, that ain't gonna be nothing.
Okay, Ocho, it's like, you know.
Hey.
As a brown man who grew up abroad,
kudos huge respects to Nike
for platforming, platforming black women.
Others would never.
We tried to put, we try to get in time.
I thought they said we don't have them on here.
That's, that's what people,
and step the hair is the thing on Joe.
If you wanna come on the platform, just reach out.
You ain't gotta, because somebody comment
and tell us how good a job we do it.
You don't have to repost and talk about,
well, do this for others.
If you wanna come on, you, you're not speaking for others.
Yeah.
You speak for yourself.
So that's how you handle that.
If you want to come on, I reached out to Melissa
because I wanted to have her own.
Yeah.
I thought what she's doing when a double goal at the ultimate championship,
I thought that was a huge feat.
Hell, I like to have Maasai Russell on also.
But, hell, Chase Ely, if you want to come on, she could come on too.
But, I mean, they just, it's never going to be enough.
There's never going to be enough.
Right.
So, Iso, my dog, Pitbull, and Ocho don't want no smoke.
Who?
He said, you're a pit bull.
Ocho don't want no smoke.
Oh, man, come on.
We ain't, me and Ocho, when it comes to competing,
he's talking about basketball.
Come on, man, I already told you,
y'all know I don't get no strikes for that.
You know what they do, the pit bulls?
You know, they put them down, you hear me?
Okay.
You know, they put them down.
If they ain't getting the job done,
I'm getting the job done over here, partner.
You can believe that.
So I don't know what you talk about putting nothing down.
Ain't putting nothing down over here, partner.
Yeah.
Okay.
It sounds good.
Yeah.
Hey, Joe, I don't really like the tone of your voice.
It don't matter what you like.
I'm just telling it from a pit bull, from a dog's perspective, this is what you go get, partner.
Yeah, this is what it is what I don't talk about it.
Hell, I don't care that you don't like it.
Hey, listen, all that getting loud and trying to out talk me, that ain't going to help you.
Yeah.
I'm just letting you know.
I'm just letting you know what I'm just telling you, Joe, you don't put no fear over here.
Joe, this is.
I don't want no fear.
I don't want no figure it.
I don't want you to be scared.
You hear me?
Yeah, I want you to step up like a man, partner.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm talking about, boy, don't get me started tonight.
Okay, all right.
Okay, go ahead, Ocho.
I'm gonna tell you, don't make me go on my bag.
Go ahead, okay.
Yeah.
Damn, well, you ain't that Ocho and Iso asked, MJ, one question.
It don't make you no bad brother though.
I got me a question in and I got me a good one in.
I got me a good one in there.
beginning because I already knew what time it was.
Hey, they may got lost in the South here.
Yeah, he wasn't even said.
I'm like, damn, I couldn't even jump in again.
Like playing double Dutch.
Oh, Joe, I'm trying to,
damn, let me get it there.
Let me get it.
Let me get.
Okay, we'll get, we'll get, we'll get,
we're going to get Missy Russell on here.
We'll get, we'll get, we go get her.
We'll get Missy out here.
All right.
I'm going to stand back.
I will let y'all have it.
We'll get Maasai.
gonna try to get Sidney.
Oh,
oh, damn.
I was so excited, man.
Because when I reached out to her
and she was like, yeah, I'm on the way,
she's like, it's perfect.
I'm on the West Coast.
Just give me, let me know what time
you want me to come on.
I gave her Ash information.
Ash said, yeah.
I said, Ash, you talked to.
She's like, yes, you already hear him up.
She's like, a collab, do the collab.
Man.
Man, I was, man, look here.
Hey, Ash, I already here.
purpose. She said, good luck. She said, y'all ain't going to be able to say nothing, boy.
Sir, sir talk a lot.
Hey, I already, I already knew what time it was, boy.
Hey, hey, Joe, I'd be the same way. What we're talking about boxing?
Yeah, we talk about socks.
I let you all. I let Ocho have it. You get low.
What we talk about boxing and soccer, boy, I'm going to take off, boy.
All right, we're going to get, I'm going to get Ryan back on here, Ocho.
Huh?
I'm going to get Ryan Garcia on.
Hey, that'd be a good one, boy.
That'd be a good one.
I want to know who he's fighting next.
He's calling out everybody.
Tiofimo.
But he didn't, yeah, he's talking about Tiofimo single tomorrow.
He, I don't think he'd fight no more this year, Ocho.
You think he'd done?
For this year?
Yeah, we only in, um, Ryan, Ryan stays active, though.
I don't think he's fighting anymore this year.
He could.
possibly happen, but I don't think so.
Hmm. But if he do,
we're going to be there.
I'm trying to think. Who, hey, who,
but damn, that mean we ain't got no good fights left, huh?
Canelo fighting,
in Bile.
In Bile? Yeah, that's October, huh?
Yeah.
Damn.
You want to go to that?
Not really.
Okay.
Well, that's the only, I don't know that you got.
When boost fight?
Don't boost fight again before the end of the year?
I'm not sure.
I think
Bumgarten are fighting in Dallas
Trying to think
Who else? Alicia?
Yep.
Man, man, they be taking so much time off, man.
Some of them dudes, Joe, they fighting once a year.
He's got
Geron Boots Ennis, believes, the unification
with Sebastian Fondura.
What is that?
He's got it.
Hold on, he's going to fight
the 6-7 dude Fendora.
Man.
What he said?
He says a balloon unification.
Man, he's gonna fold him up like a lawn chair, man.
Bud Crawford versus Boots.
Eddie Hearn says the dream fighter's boots in his versus
Bud Crawford.
That's gonna, that's gonna happen.
You gotta come with some dream money then.
Hey, when we were talking to Bud, the way he was talking,
I seen it in his eyes, Uncle, Ocho.
You give him the right price.
That boy will come back.
Yeah, for sure.
I told you what it was.
What?
150 is no proof.
Put my gloves on.
He got them on now.
Don't let him fool you,
but I'm definitely going.
If Boots fights Fondora,
I'm there.
Yeah.
That's the fight.
Yeah.
That'd be a good one.
You saw what Fondura did,
Thurman.
Keith Thurman?
And that was sad to watch,
um, man.
He couldn't do nothing.
Thurman been out for a while, though, ain't you, Ocho?
Yeah, we had a two-year layoff, maybe two or three-year lay-off.
Yeah, yeah.
He put them nice.
I ain't think you were going to do him like that, Joe.
Yeah.
You can't be off, you look here, you got to, you got to fight a stiff if you've been out that long.
You can't jump back into the fire.
