Well, obviously, we won an award. First off, I want to say thank you, your team, so tell the people about the award. Well, obviously, we won an award. First off, I want to say thank you, your team, for allowing me to come on and make this something very, very special. More importantly, the people that have supported us since we started. Without you guys, our success would be nothing.
Starting point is 00:05:43 You are the meat and potatoes to why this show is going the way it's going right now. I appreciate and love all of you uh this is one of the few moments that you'll see me in uh in in somewhat of a serious serious tone uh because i understand without you guys none of this would have been possible um please continue to support us and we will continue to give you authentic and organic content from here on out so yeah ascho was saying, so thank you for everybody that's behind the scenes. I know everybody, Ocho and I,
Starting point is 00:06:09 it's nightcap with Unc and Ocho, but there's so many people behind the scenes from Ash who's producing the show to all the editors, all the graphic people, all the people that stay up late at night and to make sure we get the clips out, the shorts out. We want to thank you. We want to thank the volume for their great staff
Starting point is 00:06:24 for collabing with me and Shea Shea Media to make all this stuff possible. CJ and his staff at Pink Deer for all the success behind Club Shea Shea. We just want to thank everybody that's behind the scenes
Starting point is 00:06:36 because all those, Ocho and I get credit for Nightcap and myself because I'm the only one that's really hosting Club Shea Shea. We get all the credit, but it's so many hardworking people behind the scenes. Dougie, Dougie, appreciate you, appreciate you.
Starting point is 00:06:51 I don't know who you're at, but I appreciate you. That deserve to get credit. Let's get right into it, Ocho. The Thunder go on the road, even the series up, take back home court. A very hard-fought victory. They went 100-96. Shea Gilgamesh Alexander was, again, he was exemplary. 34 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists,
Starting point is 00:07:09 2 steals, 2 blocks, 52% from the floor. Chet Holbrook, 18 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocks, 6 of 9. Had the most playoff box, 23 by rookies since Serge Ibaka. Luka tonight had 7 turnovers and 6 buckets. Missed game time free throws. He and Kyrie have not been playing well with the exception of that one game
Starting point is 00:07:27 in which Luka played really well on the road in game two. In game one, he and Kyrie have yet to put a game together. P.J. Brown has been playing unbelievable, but he wasn't enough tonight. And being down by as many as 14 points late in the third quarter and down by as many as eight points, nine points in the fourth quarter. The OKC Thunder come back, snatch back home court, and now they go back home for game five and see if they can go up 3-2. Watching the game, Ocho, what did you like and what you saw from the Thunder?
Starting point is 00:07:59 I mean, obviously what I saw from the Thunder, SGA. I'm going to just say SGA because I always pronounce his first name wrong. Shea. Shea is doing what he's doing. Obviously, his supporting cast has been phenomenal on his part. And everyone helping as well. Lou Dort had a good game. Finished with 17 points.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Obviously, Shet Holmgren as well. So, there, I'm not going to say they're top three because that wouldn't be their top three players, right? Jalen Williams. Shade, Jalen Williams, and Shet. Okay, would be. But if you don't have any output from Luka, Kyrie not
Starting point is 00:08:38 playing well, who only had nine points, if I'm not mistaken. Correct. But P.J. Washington again, for the second time in the series, being the leading scorer and doing his part for the two superstars, the two-headed monster that should be playing for Narno or Tupar is one of the reasons why the series is now tied.
Starting point is 00:08:54 Right. And they should be they probably should be up considering you're getting that kind of production from your third guy and you're not getting your superstar. You're not getting the production from the guy that you're counting on, that you're depending on. I don't know what's going wrong, Kyrie.
Starting point is 00:09:08 I mean, this Kyrie, this is not the Kyrie that I'm used to seeing. I don't recall him playing as bad as what he's playing, as being as inefficient. He's not taking a whole lot of shots. He's not scoring a whole lot in the first half. You kind of overlook it because he's kind of gotten it going in a couple of games in the second half. But for whatever reason, he could not get on track
Starting point is 00:09:25 tonight. Luka has been very inefficient with the exception of maybe one game and the turnovers. Luka's beat up, but he's going to have to find a way. You can't get every call. You've got to stop flopping because you're laying on the floor. They're getting back up the court and they're getting shots off and your man's scoring.
Starting point is 00:09:41 They got up a couple of threes. They got some layup because you're back there arguing with a call, expecting to get a call and they're not giving you the call. They got up a couple of threes. They got some layup because you're back there arguing with a call, expecting to get a call, and they're not giving you the call. They kind of let them play tonight. And so, give OKC. They knew they had to have this game. You don't normally team that go up 3-1, for the most part,
Starting point is 00:09:57 win about 90% of the times. And because you're going back home 3, you go up 3-1, and you're probably going to end up going back home for game 5. So, you're going to be in front of your up 3-1, and you're probably going to end up going back home for game five, so you're going to be in front of your home crowd. But give the OKC Thunder credit. They're the number one seed for a reason. I didn't, and my research before this,
Starting point is 00:10:15 they had the most 10-point comfort behind wins. So that shows you that even though they're a young group, they're resilient. Right. And they feel that they're in any game because they have that guy who finished second in the MVP. Some of the shots that he made, even when they
Starting point is 00:10:29 were down 8-10 points, that kept them attached, that didn't let the Mavs get up by 12, get up by 14 again in that fourth quarter, he made a shot, I think, that tied the game up from the side, shot it over the corner of the backboard, and he hit nothing but net. So, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:10:46 So this is a good question for me. On the outside looking in, obviously, if you're a betting man, if you're a gambling man, you say, well, you look at the series, OKC being a very young team, but like you said, they are resilient. But you think the Cavs are going to run away? The Cavs. You think the Mavs are going to run away with this series? But obviously, that's not it.
Starting point is 00:11:04 So, Chad, I'm asking you too as well. Do you think the Mavs still have a shot winning the series, or will the young Oklahoma team shock the world? Not if Luke and Kyrie don't play better than what they played the first four games. I'm surprised that it's 2-2 considering how poorly Luke and Kyrie played overall. Now, Kyrie put together a couple of second halves, but overall, now he's playing some pretty good defense. Give him credit for that.
Starting point is 00:11:32 But Luke has been wildly inefficient. But yes, they can win this series, but they're going to have to play better. And without them playing better, I don't see them. And plus, you got to make your free throws. They shot just as many free throws as the OKC. The difference was OKC missed two out of 22. The other team missed 12 out of 21.
Starting point is 00:11:53 So when you miss that, when you miss that many free throws, especially the games are so close because these are two, I believe, evenly matched ball clubs. But you got to find ways. You got to find ways. Your two you got to find ways. You got to find ways. Your two guns got to find ways to play well. But give OKC credit. Because like I said, they could have easily run and hide.
Starting point is 00:12:15 They didn't. They fought. They scrapped. And when they got the lead, you see what happened. The Mavs started turning the ball over. Luka's trying to get into a rhythm. He's taking unnecessary shots. He's turning the ball over. Luka's trying to get into a rhythm. He's taking unnecessary shots. He's turning the ball over, and they're getting runouts.
Starting point is 00:12:29 OKC, they found a way to stay close to the ballgame. And then the last clutch time, Shea took the game over, but they had a big shot. Louie Doerr hit a big three. Chet Holmgren hit a big three. But Louie Doerr, excuse me, Shea Gill just took the ballgame over, and that's why they're going back to OKC tied 2-2. The Celtics beat the Cavs minus Donovan Mitchell 109-102.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Jalen Brown had 27 points, 8 rebounds. He was 2-3 from the 3. Jason Tatum had 33 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists. Put the Cavs on the brink of elimination, and the Celtics are very close, one game away, from advancing back to the Eastern Conference Finals. Jason Taylor played well. They got the contribution from Jalen Brown.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Drew Holliday played extremely well, and they were able to beat the Cavs, minus Donovan Mitchell. And you see Darius Garland played much better. I think he defers too much when Donovan Mitchell is in the game, because he had his best game of the series, all for not. It was a losing effort. But the Celtics go on the road.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Now they go back home with a chance to clinch and get some much-needed rest and say, okay, Knicks and Pacers, you guys fight it out. We're at home. Get picked up, ready for whoever wins. Pacers, you guys fight it out. We're at home.
Starting point is 00:13:44 He'd be kicked up, ready for whoever wins. It's unfortunate for the Cavs. Obviously, Donovan Mitchell didn't play. Darius Garland played much better. And now there's no pressure on you. You have to take the shots. You have to take the shots that you would be reluctant to take, allowing Donovan Mitchell to somewhat take over games and take some of those opportunities from you now with it's funny that Donovan Mitchell didn't play but the scoreline was closer in this
Starting point is 00:14:11 game as opposed to when both of them played the previous game and it's weird how that the game of basketball works obviously I understand it's a game of runs there's a game of of rhythm and consistency consistency from certain players but it's funny how your superstar doesn't play, but the ending of the game is much closer when everybody somewhat played for the Cavs on their end. Listen, with Jalen Brown and Donovan Mitchell, I mean, Donovan Mitchell, with Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum
Starting point is 00:14:40 playing the way they're playing, ain't nobody beating them right now, especially when they're playing efficient. And when Derek White, when he finally gets it rolling again, like I saw him play against the Heat and be very efficient from the field, which he hasn't been since that Heat series,
Starting point is 00:14:56 they might be the one to be holding that trophy at the end of the season, coming out to East. Well, you know Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown, they're going to have to give you, and they probably average about 53 points between the two of them, coming at the East? Well, you know Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown. They're going to have to give you. And they probably averaged about 53 points between the two of them, if I'm not mistaken. They gave you 60 to 19 rebounds.
Starting point is 00:15:13 And that's what you have to have from those guys. But you're absolutely right. You're going to need Holiday. You're going to need Derek White. You're going to need that third option. And as long as they get the third option contributing, they're going to be just fine. Now, I might remind you that Christoph Brzingas hasn't played in this series.
Starting point is 00:15:28 He's recovering from that strained calf. And so, you know, you got 33, 11 of 25. Jason Taylor played 45 minutes. Holliday played 43 minutes, gave you 16, 7, and 5. Derek White didn't play particularly well. He was 106, 104. He had five points. Jason Taylor, excuse me, Jalen Brown played 34 minutes, 9 of 15, 2 of 3.
Starting point is 00:15:48 He's been very efficient in the series. 27 points. Peyton Pritchard, another guy that comes off the bench, reminds you a lot of T.J. McConnell, going to give you great hustle plays, going to knock down shots. He's going to be a pest up and down the court. He was 3 of 5, 3 of 4 from 3. He had 11 points.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Luke Cornett had 9 points. And Howitzer came off the bench. He was three or five, three or four from three. He had 11 points. Luke Cornett had nine points. And Howitzer came off the bench. He only had two points. But they got production from where they needed it. Although Derek White and Al Horford didn't give him a whole lot of points. The big guns played well. And then you get Holiday chipping in with 16. And Braden Pritchett chipping in with 11.
Starting point is 00:16:21 The Celtics. The question is, what Celtic team is going to show up? You never know from game to game what's going to happen. They were 12 or 32 from the three-point line, 37%. You can live with that. The head coach, Joe Mazzulla, probably wants them to get up somewhere around 40 to 45 threes.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Want to try to make somewhere between 15 and 23. You look at the Cavaliers, they got 30 points from Darius Garland, 12-27, 4-13. Evan Mobley gave you 19. Karris LeBert, who's in the starting lineup because Donovan Mitchell was out,
Starting point is 00:16:54 he gave you 19. Mike Spruce gave you 15. I mean, they played really well. I mean, to think the game would be this close, minus Donovan Mitchell, I probably didn't see that coming. And probably the Celtics probably let down just a little bit
Starting point is 00:17:07 because they know one of the high-powered guys from this Golden team was out. Not yet. Well, you know, the funny thing about it, if Donovan Mitchell is out
Starting point is 00:17:14 with a calf strain, there's no way he's going to be able to play the following week. Right. Or the following game. So, it's safe to say,
Starting point is 00:17:24 obviously, I'm assuming the Celtics are going to move on. And whoever the winner out of the Pacers and the Knicks series,
Starting point is 00:17:32 what are the chances if the Pacers win the series, what are the chances if the Knicks win the series, what chances do they have against the Celtics? I think
Starting point is 00:17:42 Pacers for me because offensively, they can get up and down in the bench. The problem with the Knicks is that they have no depth. They're already without Julius
Starting point is 00:18:00 Randle. They're already without Robinson. I was reading today he had ankle surgery. You don't know how long. Maybe Bogdanovich is he had ankle surgery. You don't know how long, maybe Bogdanovich is going to come back. I don't know about that. And you're dealing with OG Anubis hamstring. So you're down four starters and you only played, I think they only played seven guys.
Starting point is 00:18:16 They played a lot of guys. They emptied their bench because they were down by as many as 43 points. But when you start shortening your bench as much as the Knicks will have to shorten their bench and you ask the guys to play as many minutes as you're asking them to play, I just don't see how the Knicks
Starting point is 00:18:31 could really pose a problem. Now, if Jalen Brown goes crazy, which he's more than capable of doing, Devin Chinzo, Josh Hart, you know, they didn't have their best games last game. But if they play kind of like they played in game, what was that, game three, game two? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:52 They got a chance. They got a chance. But I still would like the Pacers because I think they can get up and down. They're going to run. They can make shots. The question is Tyrese Halliburton. You see when he plays well, the Indiana offense looks really, really good. And he needs to play well.
Starting point is 00:19:07 He can't be afraid to shoot the shot. Siakam needs to play better. I mean, he didn't need to do much yesterday. I think he only attempted like five or six shots yesterday. But I would like the Pacers. I'm not saying either team could beat the Knicks. I mean, beat the Celtics. But I would like the Pacers in a series more so than I would like the Knicks.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Now it's time for our first segment of the day, and it is a newscast. Drafting Bronny LeBron James Jr. doesn't guarantee you his dad, LeBron James. Rich Paul has made an effort to lay down the idea that LeBron James would be a package deal with his son Bronny this offseason. Ryan Windhorst said Rich Paul has in recent months indicated behind the scenes that selecting Bronny James
Starting point is 00:19:56 doesn't guarantee LeBron will sign with that team. Look. Yeah, it does. Yeah, maybe in In two three years No absolutely not LeBron doesn't want to play Two three more years
Starting point is 00:20:08 Yes he does LeBron is waiting For this opportunity For his son To get drafted Yes And I think it's going to be A package deal
Starting point is 00:20:16 Wherever Bronny goes You want to bet Yeah I mean the writing Is on the wall No it ain't The writing is on the wall Whatever
Starting point is 00:20:23 They're writing in Mandarin Chinese And and I can't read that. Listen, LeBron James has played this long and had an illustrious career to continue his reign at the top until his son reached. Because his dream as a father, training his son, would be to always, at one point, play with his son on an NBA team. Now, wherever that NBA team is that Bronny goes to, I guarantee you LeBron goes as well. Not this year. Not next year. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:20:52 I do believe that LeBron wants to play with his son. Just the mere fact of having your son in the NBA while you're still playing isn't a feat in and of itself. Now, to have a King Griffey Jr. situation where Sr. plays with Jr. But see, that was a special situation. If I'm not mistaken, I think the Rangers granted him his
Starting point is 00:21:14 release so he could go play with the Mariners, so he could play with his son. I think the thing and the difference is Sr. was not playing as well as LeBron senior playing in basketball. Right. So it was a lot easier.
Starting point is 00:21:28 Right. Do I believe at some point in time before LeBron James will leave the NBA, he'll play with his son? Yes, I do. I just don't believe it's next year. I don't think it'll take that long. I don't think it'll take that long. Obviously, LeBron is very strategic in all that he does. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Mav, the team, Rich Paul, they're all very strategic and methodical in everything that they do. I think we think a different way on how things would happen. Maybe LeBron doesn't want to play two or three more years just to be able to play with his son. And I think he has the power and the cachet to make it happen. How they're going to make it happen, we obviously don't know. They know and they have a plan. The plan has been set in place for many, many of years. This is just not something that just happened
Starting point is 00:22:10 and I think the plan is going to play out that he's going to play with LeBron probably this year. I don't want to say guarantee. I think it's going to happen sooner than we think. Here's the issue also. Is Bronny ready to play in the NBA?
Starting point is 00:22:28 Just because you get drafted, you might have to go to the G League. Okay, that's a good one. That's a good one. So this is what I'm thinking. LeBron James, look, he's going to be involved with the coach. He's going to be involved
Starting point is 00:22:39 with the Lakers with Friggins. I don't believe LeBron would be in a situation where he's like, okay, I like this guy, I like this guy, I like said guy. And Friggins said, I want this guy with Frazier. I don't believe LeBron would be in a situation where he's like, okay, I like this guy, I like this guy, I like said guy. And Frazier said, I want this guy with this guy. And then all of a sudden,
Starting point is 00:22:50 he goes sign and go play with the Sun. I don't believe that's going to happen this year. Do I believe before LeBron James leaves the NBA that he plays with the Sun? Absolutely. Because the likelihood
Starting point is 00:23:02 of that happening again isn't very good. Unless somebody had a child while they were in high school. Because the likelihood of that happening again isn't very good. Now, unless somebody had a child while they were in high school, because the likelihood of somebody playing this long again, because think about, yeah, there are a lot of guys that have kids. Right. And they might have a kid that's five or six years old. But what's the likelihood of them playing another 15 years, another 16 years till the kid is old enough to reach this level. It just so happened to be that LeBron was extremely blessed that he was able to play. And I think he had Bronny in 2004, 2005,
Starting point is 00:23:36 which allowed him. Because I think Bronny is like 19. Oh, four. So you see? So that allowed him. Now LeBron came in the league in 2003. Right.
Starting point is 00:23:47 So he has a kid one year into his career and now here we are two decades later. That's crazy. Yeah. So the likelihood of that happening
Starting point is 00:23:56 is not, is probably you won't see it again. You don't see it very often. That's why I don't think it would take that long. I mean, I understand what you're saying. And I think if LeBron,
Starting point is 00:24:10 I think because of, I'm not going to say favoritism in general, but because it's LeBron's son, I think certain things will be put in place to where it's accelerated a little bit more as opposed to him having to go to G League as far as development goes.
Starting point is 00:24:26 I think he'll be on the NBA team. I think he'll be on the NBA squad. You think he'll get drafted in the first round? From my understanding, based on what's coming out of college, I believe so. I believe so. For the simple fact that I think
Starting point is 00:24:43 behind closed doors, there might be rumblings that wherever Bronny goes, so. For the simple fact that I think behind closed doors, there might be rumblings that wherever Bronny goes, there's a chance LeBron comes there as well. And then you know what happens if you get even a 39-year-old LeBron on your team? You know what it does for not just your city, not just for your franchise,
Starting point is 00:25:00 but to me, it damn near puts you in contention, even though he's not the same LeBron of old. Right. I just don't see it happening. You look at LeBron numbers, he was 25, seven rebounds, eight assists, playing at an extremely high level.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Right. And I just don't see him leaving the Lakers. Now, do I see him leaving the Lakers? Now, the question is, I believe he's going to opt out of that contract. Does he sign a two plus one, two years for an option for a third? Now that makes it a lot easier for him to determine because I can opt out of the contract and I can go be a free agency and I don't mess up your cap situation signing me because
Starting point is 00:25:39 my son is on your roster. So I believe that's more likely to happen. Two years plus an option because I think LeBron believes in his heart of hearts that he said it, I can play as long as I want to. As long as my mind, as long as my body is healthy. Knock on wood,
Starting point is 00:25:56 his body stays healthy. He seems really engaged. He loves the game of basketball. He loves everything about it. He loves the prep work. He loves the meeting. He loves to shoot around. He loved being around the guys. And obviously, he loves the game. And so that goes in because you're always
Starting point is 00:26:11 going to love the game. But the question is, can your body hold up and your mind? The meetings drove me away. I didn't want to meet anymore. I got tired. I had heard out. I mean, for him to still enjoy it like that, being in media, how many curvages,
Starting point is 00:26:27 how many times you can run the pin down or flare or one high or all that other stuff, he's heard it all. Right. He knows it. And he still gets excited to get up and to do it over and over and over and over again. That's what makes you great.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Yep. Bronny looked good today. He played really, I mean, I saw him, I think he went like a whole minute. I think they said he was 19 or 25 from the three. From three, yeah. I saw the Twitter.
Starting point is 00:26:50 He had a 40 and a half inch vertical. It was pretty impressive. It was pretty impressive. Wait, 40, what was the vertical again? 40 and a half. But they do running jump. They don't do it like the NFL.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Oh, just standing? Yeah, NFL standing jump. Yeah. The NBA, they allow you to get running jump. So what was your vertical, you think? The highest I've ever done was like 38 and a half. Okay, okay. I think
Starting point is 00:27:13 I'm not mistaken. If I remember correctly, because my vertical jump has been one of my best assets that I had due to my DNA, I think it might have been a 46, 46, 45, something like that. You did that in the combine?
Starting point is 00:27:30 You did it in the combine? No, I did that at USC, at USC Pro Day. Yeah, I did. Yeah, I think it might have been a 46. I think Gerald Sensabaugh has the highest in combine history. He had a 46. Gerald Sensabaugh. Yeah. That's what they compared me to, too. Gerald, I ain't know who he was.
Starting point is 00:27:48 I'm comparing you to Pinocchio. But I thank Gerald Sensabaugh. I thank Boss Bayman. I thank Boss Bayman had 45. Oh, Georgia. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I remember Boss Bayman.
Starting point is 00:28:00 Those are the highs that I can remember being recorded. But like I said, the NFL, two feet planted, jump up. NBA, a lot of your running starting to jump. Because you're going to be doing a lot of that in the NBA. You're going to be a lot of doing running, jumping. So, okay, to each his own. LeBron was seen courtside with his lovely wife Savannah at the Celtics-Cavs game where he was given a standing ovation by the hometown crowd do you think LeBron would go back to Cleveland? if you wanted to write a story if you wanted to write a story and finish it the right way, you wanted to write a story
Starting point is 00:31:29 and finish it the right way, as LeBron James, you get drafted, you're from Ohio, you get drafted to Cleveland, you leave Cleveland, you go to Miami, you go back to Cleveland,
Starting point is 00:31:39 you go from Cleveland to LA, and you want to finish your story the right way. The right way. And close that book and just be complete. Well, and you want to finish your story the right way, the right way, and close that book and just be complete. Well, the one way to ensure that is to draft Ronnie. Bingo.
Starting point is 00:31:53 There you go. And there goes your happy ending. And I think it would be dope. Who's to say Ronnie doesn't go to L.A.? Well, I don't think they'll take a first round pick. I don't know if they take him in the first round. Most reports are saying second round pick.
Starting point is 00:32:10 But like you said, there's not a whole lot of not a whole lot of beat at the top of the ground. So it's not like, oh man, I gotta have this guy. Oh, I gotta have that guy. So no consensus at all in this draft? No. That's why I said the chances of him maybe going to L.A.,
Starting point is 00:32:27 maybe going to Cleveland, but for some reason, I know Rich Paul, I know LeBron. Everything is already set in stone. It's set in stone, and there's a chance. If he doesn't go to L.A., wherever Bronny goes, I'm telling you, LeBron might be that issue. I was very happy to see the ovation that he got I'm glad they let bygones be bygones LeBron
Starting point is 00:32:47 LeBron came back he brought him a championship went to the NBA finals all four years he was back there I think the thing is and for me he fulfilled his obligation he never asked to be traded he stayed there for seven years he went to
Starting point is 00:33:04 he went to Miami for four years, came back for four years, and now he's been in LA. And so I don't think anybody can be upset with LeBron. I don't think Miami can be upset with it because he did bring two titles in four years. I don't think LA can be upset with it because what's
Starting point is 00:33:20 the likelihood? Because think about, they hadn't won a title. They hadn't even been to the Western Conference Finals since Kobe last won the title in what? 2010, 2011. So, 2010, 2010. Because 2011, they got swept in the first round by Dallas.
Starting point is 00:33:36 People don't realize that. They swept Lakers, who were the defending champs in the first round. Yep, with Dirk, Jason Kidd, all those guys, Tyson Chandler. I think Sean Merrill was on that squad so the likelihood and everybody's like oh LeBron this LeBron that but you got to think about
Starting point is 00:33:52 where you were before LeBron got there you weren't making the playoffs you weren't even close to making the playoffs there's a reason why you kept getting D'Angelo Russell with the second pick of the draft there's a reason why you got Lonzo Ball with the second pick of the draft there's a reason why you got Julius Randle with a second pick of the draft. There's a reason why you got Julius Randle with a top 10 pick.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Y'all need to realize, Laker Nation, what you were before LeBron. You didn't have this kind of hope. I understand that you used the championship, but at the end of the day, there was no sun on the horizon before LeBron came here. Do they give LeBron came here. Do they
Starting point is 00:34:25 give LeBron credit? No. For the chip that he did bring? It didn't count? LeBron is never going to, look, LeBron brought two chips, but he's never been loved in Miami like D. Wade.
Starting point is 00:34:43 It's different. It's different. It's different. Kevin Durant goes to Golden State. He wins them two titles. He helped win them two titles. He's a two-time finals MVP. But they didn't draft him. Miami drafted D-Wade.
Starting point is 00:34:58 The Golden State Warriors drafted Steph. They drafted Klay. They drafted Draymond. So there's an affinity for guys that we drafted. Right. That we watched them. You see, Colby, see, Magic came there. Right.
Starting point is 00:35:13 Magic came right out of college as a 20-year-old, won him a title in rookie season. Colby came to L.A. as a 17-year-old kid. That's correct. They watch him get married. They watch him have kids. They watch him have kids. They watch him turn into a man. They watch him turn into
Starting point is 00:35:27 one of the top players in NBA history. They feel a certain kind of love and an affinity for Kobe because he's ours. Right. That's why guys that come, Magic, people,
Starting point is 00:35:43 if you go ask them, people will always say Magic and Kobe are the two best Lakers because those are the guys, not even Jerry West, LJ Baylor, but I'm saying Kobe and Magic, one, two, is Lakers because Shaq came from Orlando, Kareem came from Milwaukee. Ah, so they don't consider him as one of their own. They do because Kareem, people don't realize Kareem played in L.A. longer than he played.
Starting point is 00:36:09 I think he played seven years in Milwaukee. I think 76, if I'm not mistaken, was his first year in L.A. If I'm not mistaken, I think it was 76. Might have been 75. He won like two MVPs as soon as he got there and then won a third one in the 79-80 season. But that's just the way it is. Sometimes it's like that in basketball.
Starting point is 00:36:38 Yeah, we appreciate what you've done, but... It ain't the same. Kobe, man, and Magic, and James Worthy, those are the guys that were like, ugh, they're ours. We watched them come and go. Right. John Fury, Tyson Fury's dad, if I'm not mistaken,
Starting point is 00:36:59 headbutted a member of the opponent, Alexander U16, busting himself open in the process a member of the opponent, Alexander Yusik's team, busted himself open in the process ahead of his son Tyson's undisputed championship fight with Yusik this coming Saturday. John is generally good to get some spotlight on himself
Starting point is 00:37:18 ahead of his son's fight. With arguably Tyson's greatest, biggest fight ever, John went above and beyond. What you think? Man, buddy, he tripping. with arguably Tyson's great biggest fight ever. John went above and beyond. What you think? Man, buddy, he tripping. Well, you know, man.
Starting point is 00:37:34 No, he got a terrible hitting. Yeah, and he taking the focus. He taking the focus off of what's important. Who's going to be in the ring. Right. And now you're adding even more pressure on Fury. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Like, he ain't going against no, no, no, just no anybody. Oh, no, no. You took your bike. Especially the way he looked against Ngannou. Did I say it the right way?
Starting point is 00:37:55 Who that? Yeah, but see, he took that fight. He didn't take that fight serious. Oh, no. What was that? Oh. He took it serious.
Starting point is 00:38:03 What you mean he didn't take it serious? Man, please. You think he took that fight serious? Yeah, he took it. See what you mean? He didn't take it serious. Man, please. You think he took that fight serious? Yeah, he took it serious. No, Anthony Joshua took it serious. No. Fury took that fight serious.
Starting point is 00:38:13 And I think he was just surprised that Francis had gotten that good and that polished in such a short amount of time and being able to transition from MMA to boxing. And when he got in the ring, I'm looking like, what the hell? Who the hell he been training with?
Starting point is 00:38:29 Did you see Ngannou against Joshua when someone took it serious? Yeah. Two different styles. There's levels to fighting. Right. You see the feint. And you see every time,
Starting point is 00:38:40 because every time he feint, what did Ngannou do? He would drop. Yeah. He'd do this. And so he kept putting it out there. He kept putting it out there. Oh, that's what you he going to do? He would drop. He'd do this. He kept putting it out there. Oh, that's what you're going to do? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:50 Yeah. It's going to be a great fight because both of these guys are boxers. There's a difference between a boxer and a fighter. And a slugger too. Yeah. We know the brown bomber, Deontay Wilder. a fighter. And a slugger, too. Yeah, yeah. Completely different.
Starting point is 00:39:05 We know the brown bomber, Deontay Wilder. He got one punch. Slugger. All he's looking at, he's looking at, like, this is a rant. I mean, he ain't jabbing to, like, do anything. He's, like, ranting to try to, you know. He's not like Lenny Lewis. Lenny Lewis used his jab to do damage.
Starting point is 00:39:21 Damage, yeah. Ernie Shavers. Larry Holmes, Vladimir Klitschko, they used their jab to do damage. It wasn't just a range and it was to do damage. And boom!
Starting point is 00:39:36 Brown Bomber, he just tried to unload. So Tyson Fury said, okay, I'm just going to time it up. Lean on you, get your time, take your legs. And that's it. But I think this is going to time it up. Lean on you, get your time, take your legs. And that's it. But I think this is going to be a really good fight here. Tyson Fury and Alexander Yusik, because
Starting point is 00:39:52 both guys can box. It's going to be interesting to see. This is the first time that Fury's going to bend there with somebody. Now, he's going to be a massive of a man, but somebody that has a very similar skill set. Good footwork, very good ring IQ. He can box in the pocket. He can fight at distance. He can fight mid-range. So it's going to be very interesting on how
Starting point is 00:40:16 they're able to read each other out, gather information, process it round by round, try to figure each other out. And I think it's going to get really interesting once it gets about round six or seven. Yeah. And you're a little bit tired. You can't be on your bicycle. You can't have as much movement. You have to actually sit there and fight. I think that's where it's going to become interesting.
Starting point is 00:40:35 That's one thing I like about the heavyweights. They ain't really getting on no bicycle. No. Hey, they got to save that energy. Oh, yeah. Those are huge. Man, you're talking. Oh, yeah. Those are huge. Man, you're talking about 50, 260.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Right. These are what we call super heavyweights. Man, you ain't getting on no box. Yeah, not really. But it's funny. Yeah, but the funny thing when you think about it is you think about their boxing prowess and their footwork is like that of a lightweight almost. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:02 They move the footwork, the movement, the being able to get in and get out. Right. Defense. Yeah. Very good defense. They know how to move, Ocho. They know how to move.
Starting point is 00:41:11 Minimal movement. Minimal movement, but conserve energy while moving. Yes, sir. You and I, we all know how to play. They're going to know how to lean. They know how to do all that. But the thing is, what the really good boxers, they know they can have a sense of life. They're going to know how to lean. They know how to do all that. But the thing is, the really good boxers, they know they can have a sense
Starting point is 00:41:27 of like, they can look over there, oh, he's tired. Look how he's breathing. That's why you got to have that poker face the whole time. Your mannerisms, you got to be relaxed the whole time. You have to have that poker face and show nothing, even if you get hit clean. I've learned this from a few times.
Starting point is 00:41:43 I've been in there. He was telling me, man, if somebody can hit you with a good shot, you could hit clean. And I've learned this from a few times. I've been in there. I think he was telling me, man, somebody can hit you with a good shot. You could be hurt. Right. You cannot show any sign of weakness at any point because it's like sharks seeing blood in the water. Yeah. Hit me. Ow. Hey, man, I used to get tired.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Hey, son, don't bend over. Hey, ain't no oxygen out here. I see rabbits. I see cats. I see snakes. Ain't no oxygen out here. Who told you that lie? Ain't no oxygen out there.
Starting point is 00:42:15 Ain't no oxygen out there. You know what? Guess what? It's even lower because I've been laid out. Ocho, there's a report that Justin Fields had a toxic relationship with Nick Foles in the Chicago locker room. According to reports, the relationship between Foles and Fields
Starting point is 00:42:32 basically reached rock bottom at the situation where Foles was trying to teach something to Fields, only to turn around and realize that Fields wasn't paying attention to anything Foles were saying. According to reports, Foles and Fields could not stand each other. There ain't nothing wrong with that.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Listen, you, in the chat, in the NFL, listen, as much as you want to get along with everybody, think about where you work. If you work in the corporate world or wherever you work, you don't get along with every person that's there. That man isn't there to take your job. They are there to compete. Yeah, your job. They are there to compete.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Yeah, they are. You are there to compete. Everybody's not going to get along on the same team. That's just the nature of the business at times. I'm better than you. Why are you sitting here trying to teach me? Younger player, listen to an older veteran who's been somewhat, not somewhat,
Starting point is 00:43:22 not really, I don't want to call him a journeyman, but he played on a few different teams. He has a Super Bowl win. So I think that's someone you would want to listen to and confide in. Yeah, especially when it comes to playing a position quarterback because he knows what it takes to win because he has won before. After taking over for Carson Wentz when he got hurt. But listen, at times you're just not going to like people. It's just the way it is.
Starting point is 00:43:50 I think it's unfortunate that it came down to this. I think it's unfortunate that it got out now that Justin Fields is gone and he's in Pittsburgh, so why now? Why now? It wasn't issued in. Why make it an issue now? It wasn't an issue, but I'm disappointed that it got out because it makes Justin feel
Starting point is 00:44:05 like he's uncoachable, like he's unwilling to listen to someone that's trying to help. And you know, look, when I was in there, and somebody could give me some valuable information, the mistake that I made is that I listened to the wrong person and he gave me the wrong route. And I went there ready at full speed. And Coach looked at me like
Starting point is 00:44:21 I was a damn fool, but that's my fault. That's my fault. I think the thing is, Ocho, for me, is that I've always said that if I ever got in a situation, I say, when I make the team next year, someone ask me something, I'm going to be able to give them the real information because I'm just how I look at it, Ocho. You can't
Starting point is 00:44:37 beat me. I'm going to teach you everything you know, not everything I know. So you're never going to be able to beat this job. And I understand when Ozzie made the move to move on to Todd Heath, he had to get me up out of there. Todd Heath're never going to be able to beat this job. And I understand like when Ozzy made the move to move on to Todd Heath, he had to get me up out of there. Todd Heath was never going to be able to beat me up on that job.
Starting point is 00:44:50 Right, right. Because I knew too much. I knew all the tricks of the trade. I knew how to get open no matter what the situation was. But my job was to make sure and to Rook's credit, he hung on everything that I said.
Starting point is 00:45:02 So I tried to make sure that the locker, the tight end room was better when I left than when I found it. Same way with Denver. I take it as an elder statesman, Ocho. That's my job. To pass that information down because I had some guys
Starting point is 00:45:18 that really helped me. In the receiver room, Mark Jackson, I backed him up. He helped me immensely. Vance Johnson, those guys, I backed him up. He helped me immensely. Vance Johnson, those guys really, really helped me when I was there. I really appreciated
Starting point is 00:45:33 the older guys really helping me to try to get me up to speed because they knew if something happened to them, I'm going to have to go in and play. What good is that? You don't help me out and I got to go in and play and I don't know what the hell I'm doing. That's a negative reflection on you. But I agree with you, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:45:50 I don't like that this got out because at the end of the day, you know who he's going to look negative on. Yeah. Because you got a veteran quarterback that's played a number of years in the league. And like you said, he did win the Super Bowl. He did go to a Pro Bowl. He once had a season which he threw 27 touchdowns
Starting point is 00:46:05 with two interceptions. So it's like, man, he tried to help Justin Fields and Justin Fields doesn't, he's uncoachable. You can't help it. And it's so funny. It's always the black quarterbacks
Starting point is 00:46:15 where stuff like this comes out. You think it only happened with them? I guarantee you it definitely doesn't. I think when Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers were there, I'm sure there was some of the same, you know, hey, it was some of the same issues.
Starting point is 00:46:26 You know, I think it happens like that when you have two players at a certain position. And you understand that if you're not playing well, the person that's trying to help and coach you could eventually be taking your job if you don't play up to par. And it just it is what it is. It is what it is. It's no secret that Aaron Rodgers is a big fan of New York Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. Other than the organization may not feel the same. According to SNY, the Jets reportedly consider bringing a board somewhat above Hackett to run the offense. They are legitimately concerned with Hackett's ability to be successful to run the offense. There are legitimate concerns with Hackett's ability to be successful
Starting point is 00:47:07 to run things. It almost feels like the Jets are putting so much faith in Rodgers' ability to correct Hackett's wrongdoing. I don't like that.
Starting point is 00:47:18 But Nathaniel Hackett has always had some type of issues and problems from an offensive standpoint as a coordinator. Actually, before he even got here. Wasn't there an issue
Starting point is 00:47:27 when he was winning? Never. He was the head coach. He got the job. Issues in Denver. Wait, where was he before Denver? He was the offensive coordinator at Green Bay,
Starting point is 00:47:36 but he didn't call no plays. And see, what happened was is that Aaron Rodgers won those back-to-back MVP. Right. Look, I mean, how much credit do we actually give the offensive coordinator
Starting point is 00:47:47 to coach Tom Brady? Because look, when they didn't have Brady, how'd he look? Exactly. So now we understand that not much coaching goes on once you're in that structured environment.
Starting point is 00:48:00 It's all X's and O's. So it's up to you to execute those X's and O's once you're in between those lines now you understand why coach gets fired because there's certain players and player personnel
Starting point is 00:48:11 that aren't able to live up to the expectations that are expected from the person that's doing the play calling I believe Nathaniel Hackett got that job in Denver because
Starting point is 00:48:21 they believed he could deliver Aaron Rodgers Aaron Rodgers got the job and went back to Green Bay he got the job in the Jets because Aaron Rodgers comes to the game that's some great boy to have it is it is so that's like if you're JoshDaniels, you should always be able to get a job no matter what. Obviously, when Brady was playing. Yeah. Which is why he was able to turn down the job in Indy and still get an opportunity in Oakland,
Starting point is 00:48:56 excuse me, Las Vegas now. That's why. Because of the individual that you were attached to as to being coached. And you look at what happened. Every year, he goes one year, halfway through the next year, he gets fired. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:10 Two jobs, yeah, two head coach jobs. Look at him when he was the offensive coordinator of the Rams. He had the worst offense in football. Now, he goes back to New England. He's with Tom Brady. He wins Super Bowls. Now, he gets the job at the coach.
Starting point is 00:49:24 He's like, nah, he sends them a fax. Nah, I'm good. I'm turning it down. Goes back to New England, wins some more. Gets the job at Las Vegas. Look at him. Quarterback always saves the day, which is why the quarterbacks make the big money.
Starting point is 00:49:42 Okay. Now it's time for our favorite segment. It's late at night. I know it's late at night, don't you? And so... It's not that late. It's late at night. And so we're going to start. You know what? I love being here. We're going to go ahead and turn it down. We don't need to see that right now.
Starting point is 00:49:58 So it's time for our favorite segment. It's time for our favorite segment. Y'all know what it is. It's called Spello Cinco. Yeah. I don't have, I don't even know, I ain't got my hat with me, man. You ain't got to take it out of me.
Starting point is 00:50:14 I ain't got my hat with me, man. Okay. Y'all stay with me. Okay, stay with the chat. Stay with the chat. Stay with it. First word. These are easy words. Yeah, you always say that. Yeah, easy words. We. These are easy words. Yeah, easy words. We'll give you easy words.
Starting point is 00:50:31 Necessary. It is necessary when you go on the road to bring your equipment so we can film Nightcap accordingly. Necessary. Well, before we start, I don't have my equipment and we're filming together because Rell... Ain't no Rell.
Starting point is 00:50:48 No, I'm telling you. I'm not telling you. Rell, she is my assistant. You know, I told... No, for real. You have a team of people. I wanted to hire a team of people.
Starting point is 00:50:56 Chat, y'all stay with me. Now, I wanted to hire a team of people so I can function the way Shannon functions where he doesn't have to do anything. He can just focus on
Starting point is 00:51:03 what he needs to do and everybody else takes care of everything. You're a stay-at-home dad. You don't get that privilege. Yeah, but if she want to be a part of NICAP and what I got going on, then you're inserting yourself in my business. So therefore, I gave her a title.
Starting point is 00:51:15 I'm paying her. How you paying her? $20. You should have left all that. Yeah, so... Necessary, I'm ready. You ready? Yes, necessary. Necessary, I'm ready. You ready? Yes, necessary.
Starting point is 00:51:25 Necessary. N-E-C-E-S-S-A-R-Y. Yeah, I got enough room to dance, too. Yeah, okay. Good. Huh? Chat this for y to dance, too. Yeah, okay. Good. Huh? Chat this for y'all. Chat.
Starting point is 00:51:48 Huh? I like to thank... Never mind. The hotel that we're staying at... Right. ...has great accommodations. Accommodations. Ooh, accommodations.
Starting point is 00:51:59 And I think we did this word already, and I missed it last time, if I'm not mistaken. Mm-hmm. Right? Yeah. So I ain't gonna miss it twice, is one last time, if I'm not mistaken. Right? Yeah. So I ain't going to miss it twice is one thing about it. I'm not going to miss it twice because it's A-double-C-O-double-M.
Starting point is 00:52:16 Oh, shit. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Stay with me, Chad, man. Accommodations. Accommo. Accommodations. Accommo.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Accommodations. O. A, double C, O. D. A. Mm-hmm. T, I, O, and S. No.
Starting point is 00:52:44 No! A. Double C. Mm-hmm. T-I-O-N-S. No. No! A. Double C. Mm-hmm. I said O. Mm-hmm. D. Double M.
Starting point is 00:52:54 I said double M in the first. O. D-A-T-I-O-N. Is that not what I said? No. It's not? No. We what for what? This is the even word. This is the even No. It's not? No. We went for what?
Starting point is 00:53:06 This is the easy one. This is the easiest word. Oh, wait a minute. I sounded it out and all. Yeah, yeah. Okay. The way you sounded it out, the way you spelled it out.
Starting point is 00:53:15 Right, okay. Let me lock in. Let me lock in. Let me focus. Let me focus. Discipline. Discipline. This is something I've always had.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Discipline. Especially when it comes to spending money. I've always had discipline. That's why I still got all my goddamn money. Discipline. D-I-S-C-I-P-L-I-N-E. Discipline. Correct. It's something I've always had. Something I will continue to have. Discipline. Deseret. That's very good. Discipline. Word number very good. Discipline. Word number four. Ambivalent.
Starting point is 00:53:51 Ambivalent. Ambivalent. Ambivalent. Shit. Ambivalent. Can you use it in a sentence please um I'm ambivalent mm-hmm
Starting point is 00:54:17 you might want to give me another word. I don't know. I'm ambivalent when it comes to accommodations. Ambivalent. Am. Viv. So I'm sounding it out. Go ahead. Based on, I'm sounding it out. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:54:46 Based on how I was sounding out, Chad, y'all stay with me now. Ambivalent. I'm assuming A-M. Mm-hmm. B-I-V. Mm-hmm. I-E-L-E-N-T. Close.
Starting point is 00:55:04 Ah! A-B-A-M-B-E-N-T. Close. Ah! A-B-A-M-B-I-B-A-L-E-N-T. Oh, it's the A. Yes. The A and the E. That threw me off. This is an easy one here. You've been saying it.
Starting point is 00:55:16 No, no, this is an easy one here. You've been saying everything. Easy. Mischievous. Chad Ochocinco Johnson was mischievous as a child is mischievous or mischievous either way is correct
Starting point is 00:55:32 mischievous since he said I was mischievous as a child I should know how to spell this and I'm going to say this with such great confidence as if this is the State of the Union address. Mischievous.
Starting point is 00:55:52 M-I-S C-H-E V-I O-U-S. Close. God! Come on, man! M-I-S C-H-E-V-O-U-S. Like, I went to school.
Starting point is 00:56:10 People are going to think I don't know how to spell. How about this one? The last word is a little bit more difficult. I got y'all, Chad. I got this right here. I promise you, if I don't get this word right, I won't sleep with Rell ever again until August. I promise you she won't get it until August.
Starting point is 00:56:27 The word is endophyte. What? Endophyte is bacteria or fungus that live within a plant. Endophyte. Endo. Endophyte. Endophyte. Fight. Endvite. Endo-vite.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Fight. Endo-vite. Endo-vite. Oh, shit, boy. Boy, I'm a... Damn. You know, 87% of relationships is relying on sex, huh? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:57:01 Okay. So I got to get this right. I got to get this right I gotta get this right Because I don't want to be in a situation I hope you store it up I hope you've been at it for the last three months Yeah Okay Endo fight
Starting point is 00:57:22 This is tough Because you know Where we are now Okay. Endo fight. Endo fight. This is tough. Because, you know, where we are now, because of technology, I could lose my woman to the rose toy. Yeah. Yeah, so this is important. But you can watch.
Starting point is 00:57:40 Nah, I can't do that. I can't do that. Endo fight. Endo fight. All right, baby, here we go. Endo fight. I can't do that I can't do that Endophyte Endophyte Alright baby Here we go Endophyte I-N D-O
Starting point is 00:57:58 F-I-T-E E-N D-O P-H Y-T-E Where E-N-D-O-P-H-Y-T-E. Where the P come from? Endophyte. Where the P come from? But what? Like phosphorus.
Starting point is 00:58:15 P-H. Nah, the P is for pussy because I ain't getting none. I ain't getting none now. Well, you the one that you the one that made that big with yourself. I'm sorry, Chad. I mean, listen, I let y'all down, man.

Starting point is 01:01:44 Here we go. Sound for now, we. All right, Ocho, now it's your turn. Dunk on up. Here we go. Dunk on up. Make sure you can't see. You ain't finna be cheating. All right, chat. Dunk on up. Yeah, you, yeah, yeah. Make sure.
Starting point is 01:02:00 Okay, yeah. Yeah, you. Hey, chat, you can't cheat now because I'm here. I can see. Ash can't cheat. because I'm here. I can see. Ash can't cheat. Can't nobody help him now. Question number one. The NFL was founded on August 20th of what year?
Starting point is 01:02:23 The NFL was founded on August 20th of what year? The NFL was founded on August 20th of what year? 1920. You got an earpiece in? There you go with that bullshit. Hey, excuse me, sir. Can you... He mic'd up?
Starting point is 01:02:49 Can you communicate? He got a little earpiece in? No, he got no earpiece in. Okay. I get to say it, but you got it in. Let's make a show. We did.
Starting point is 01:02:56 You got a gel, but we both got microphones. I'm trying to figure out how you... Because you weren't even here in 1920, so how do you know? Probably the lead. Do you remember when they had
Starting point is 01:03:04 the 100th anniversary? Yeah. Okay. Okay. Question number two. There were 18 quarterbacks who have won the NFL MVP award. What year did a non-offensive or defensive
Starting point is 01:03:20 player win the NFL MVP? What year? There are 19 NFL not, there are 18 non-quarterbacks who have won NFL MVP award. Okay. What year did a non-offensive
Starting point is 01:03:35 or defensive player win NFL MVP? Oh my God. I know who it is. But damn. I'm with a 1982? Mark Mosley? Oh, hell.
Starting point is 01:03:51 Oh my God. That's it. I swear to God, somebody had to brief him on this shit. Hell no. Hey, I'm logged in. I'm logged in. www.shannon.com I'm logged on.
Starting point is 01:04:19 There ain't no dial-up here. There ain't no dial-up. This that CG, that Japan guy is a thousand times faster than 5G. Somebody brief you on these questions. up here? Nah. See, that thing that say no dollar. This that CG, that Japan guy, is thousand times faster than 5G. Somebody brief you on these questions. Somebody brief you. Nah. My damn room. Nah.
Starting point is 01:04:33 Door busted in like he housekeeping. Hey, he open the door, talk about housekeeping. I think you're supposed to ring the doorbell first. Hey, somebody in this room is cheating. I don't know who it is. What? But the fact that there are certain questions on here that you should not know.
Starting point is 01:04:53 I don't care how much. The reason why I know that because it was a strike-shortened season in 1982. Strike happened in 82, 87, and then again in 2011. So that was strike year. Three years the NFL's had strikes. What does that have to do with knowing who won the kicker that wasn't an officer or a defensive player? Because I, Ocho, I'm telling you,
Starting point is 01:05:13 I used to spend all my time. Nah, I spent all my time doing the same thing. Nah. All right, question number three. Chaddy cheating. I'm telling you, man. Y'all can see it on your end. I know I, don't act like Rich Hall, man.
Starting point is 01:05:25 I see Harry the thing. I'm glad we're out here and we ain't got no monitors because the chat thought I was cheating because I was getting the answers. No, but see, someone briefed you ahead of time telling you what the question would be. I ain't been down here with you. No, I was downstairs smoking.
Starting point is 01:05:41 I ain't been in here. I ain't left my room as soon as we got back to the room. As a matter of fact, I was supposed to have some food. I don't know where it is. Oh. All right. Here we go. Shaq, back to the
Starting point is 01:05:53 regularly scheduled program in which I still feel a little funny because the fact that he knows these goddamn answers to these questions, something ain't right. What NFL franchise is owned by the community rather
Starting point is 01:06:06 than a traditional owner or ownership group? The Green Bay Packers. Okay. You know what? All right. That don't count. That don't count. That don't count. I told y'all. That don't count because
Starting point is 01:06:20 my daughter, she don't even know about football. She only two and she knew that answer. Okay. Okay. Here, okay. Okay, here we go. What year did the NBA prohibit the drafting of high school players? So, LeBron was 03. Dwight Howard was 04. So it had to be...
Starting point is 01:06:46 We got him, chat. Kevin Durant was the year. We got him. Kevin Durant. I'm going to say 07. It was like 05, 06, 07. Whoa, whoa, whoa. You can't be trying to give... No, I'm saying 07. I'm going 0 say 07 If it's like 05, 06, 07 Whoa, whoa, whoa
Starting point is 01:07:05 You can't be trying to give No, I'm saying 07 I'm going 07 07? Yeah 07 Is absolutely Fucking wrong
Starting point is 01:07:16 Yeah That's what I'm talking about See what I told you? See what I told you? I told you Let's go What was it? Oh, 2005.
Starting point is 01:07:26 2005. When was basketball first introduced into the Olympics? What year? Oh my gosh. We got him again. Let's go. Here it goes. 1952? 1952.
Starting point is 01:07:57 My database is saying the answer for the question or the answer that you are looking for is 1936. You are wrong again. In Berlin? Huh? You're wrong.
Starting point is 01:08:10 You know what? I don't know where it was. It was in Berlin. I don't know. How do you know? It was in Berlin. Okay. That's the German,
Starting point is 01:08:16 that's the Jesse Owens Olympics. Okay. I got a bonus question for you. Okay. So I can feel better about myself. You got three right, so I'm good.
Starting point is 01:08:24 You got two right. I got three. You got two right. I got three. You got two right. I got three. I'm going to get another one too. Make it four for five, four for six. Bonus question. What is the shape?
Starting point is 01:08:34 Chad, I know y'all don't know this. What is the shape of the American football? What is the shape? Pablo? Who? What do you mean, the shape? The shape. What is the shape Pablo? Who? What do you mean the shape? The shape. What is the shape called?
Starting point is 01:08:49 The shape of the American football, what is it called? What is the scientific terminology in the name of the shape of the American football called the Duke? You don't know? No, I don't.
Starting point is 01:09:07 But I do. The name of the shape of the football, the Duke, is called the Prolate Feroid. Ah, man. The Prolate Feroid. I'm serious. You didn't know that?
Starting point is 01:09:22 No, I didn't know that. Oh, I knew that. Huh? That's my memory bank. Yeah. You can look at that? No, I didn't know that. Oh, I knew that. Huh? That's my memory bank. Yeah. So you're looking at the alphabet. Again, I win. Well, how'd you win? You got two right.
Starting point is 01:09:32 I got two. I got two right. I got three. I got the first three. How many words did I get right? Two. I got three. And, and, and, I should have got, man, I knew, I knew, I knew.
Starting point is 01:09:44 You said 2007. No, you didn't know. I knew, I knew I knew I knew you said 2007 no you didn't know I knew but I knew it was right after but I didn't know it was immediately after but that's okay
Starting point is 01:09:51 I feel good I want to give I want to give I want to give how'd you win and we got the same amount no I got I got three
Starting point is 01:09:58 now it's time for our last segment and it's a Q and A Q and A. Q and A. No chill, Gil said. No invite. Woo! With Ocho looking clean.
Starting point is 01:10:15 Hey, you see me, Gil? Where you at, Gil? Hey, Gil. See, listen. A lot of people will look at it, right? And you think it's very expensive. This one, it's for $20. It's for $20. I'm surprised it cost that much. I pulled one thread and und think it's very expensive. This one, it's for $20. It's for $20. I'm surprised it cost that much. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:29 I pulled one thread and undressed you. Yeah, you probably would. But here, I got it tailored, right? I got it tailored to fit, you know, real slim fit, because, you know, I got a model-type body. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:40 What rail chair you? Huh? What rail chair you today? You know what? That should be Hayden. Yeah, I know't no hating. What did Raelle say? Raelle told me you need to get back in the gym.
Starting point is 01:10:49 So that kind of stung a little bit because that's like me, me dating her and saying like, oh, baby, you know, you need to unbig your back. How would Raelle feel if I said,
Starting point is 01:11:04 she's like in the jail yeah yeah but listen I'm a stay at home father and I don't have time for the gym
Starting point is 01:11:10 I have nobody to impress I already got you I got you now I had one tell me so you get a good you get cut oh
Starting point is 01:11:16 that's tough that's tough hey man y'all ain't gonna get me y'all ain't gonna get me. Y'all ain't gonna get me up out of here. Lady Racer, hey, guys. I'm going to Vegas tomorrow, so I need to know. What's your favorite thing to do?
Starting point is 01:11:33 Favorite place to go in Vegas? And also, where is La Portia being served or sold? Brezza? Allie? What's the the Willie place? No, no, no, no. Brezza in Resorts World, Allie 66 in Resorts World. And what's the, they got them in L.A.
Starting point is 01:12:04 It's something Willie. Yeah. What is it called, Ashley? There's one on Cannon. There's one on Wilshire. What's that? Wally's. Wally's at Wally's and Wally's.
Starting point is 01:12:27 So it's being served, it's being poured, it's Wally's, Brezza, and Alley 66, all in a resorts world. And it's also being served at Leeds, sold at Leeds Liquor. But what's your thing to do? Okay, listen,
Starting point is 01:12:41 when I do go to Vegas, the few times that I have been to Vegas, I do the same exact thing over and over and over. For one, if you want to do any shopping, there's an H&M inside Caesars Palace.
Starting point is 01:12:53 Very, very good selection of pieces that you can buy. The shops in Caesars Palace, why the heck you gonna go to H&M? They got H&M. It's inexpensive. Good quality. Everybody ain't cheap like me. Yeah, they are. No. Okay, but anyway got H&M. It's inexpensive. Good quality. Everybody cheap like me.
Starting point is 01:13:06 Yeah, they are. No. Okay, but anyway, H&M, Cedar's Palace. If you want food, if you want food, listen to me. Go to Soul Food Cafe on Rainbow Boulevard and ask for the Ocho Special. Ask for the Ocho Special. Ask for the Ocho Special. And again, if you want some of my cigars, you can go to Resort World, 8 Lounge,
Starting point is 01:13:29 and ask for my cigars as well. Yeah. And Hortia is also being served at 8 Lounge. Oh, yeah? Yep. There it is. Knock out two birds with one stone at 8 Lounge.
Starting point is 01:13:39 And that is the only thing I do when I go to Vegas. I don't do anything else outside of that. Yeah, I'm mainly at Resorts World. I go to Vegas. I don't do anything else outside of that. Yeah, I'm mainly in the resorts world. I go to Carver Steakhouse, been to Wally's, been to, as you mentioned, Cigar Lounge.
Starting point is 01:13:56 Breakfast. Breakfast in Vegas. Grits Cafe. Again, tell them Ocho sent you. You get 5% off your meal. Wow. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:08 Yeah. But look, it's hard to find bad food in Vegas because, you know, they got all those five-star, those Michelin chef, all those James Beard award winners. And because the food got to be good because I want you to keep coming back. Right. And I want you to bring people with you when you come back. So the buffet, the brunch, everything is excellent. I don't go to – I used to go and I was at – I would stay at the MGM and I would stay at the Belagio.
Starting point is 01:14:37 I would stay at the Venetian. I would stay at this one and that one. Now, right, since the last two years, I've only stayed at Resorts World. So I can only tell you about the places that's in there, and they're great. So, hey, Resorts World's where it's at. Jamison Phillips said, Uncle Nocho, y'all look tired. Go get some sleep, King.
Starting point is 01:14:54 I ain't tired. We appreciate everything y'all do for us, but rest up, fam. I ain't tired. Nah, you know. We gonna be over here till 3 o'clock. No, you gonna be over here till 3 o'clock. Because I do gotta do, what you call them?

Starting point is 01:15:28 Rubia, Rubia, Rubia. They said it need one host, not two hosts. Nah, but I thought it was a package deal like LeBron and Bronny. Come on, man. Nah, I'm going to try to put something together
Starting point is 01:15:38 that you can do. Yeah, put some boy in there. Yeah, I'm going to put something on this one. Yeah, put some boy in there. That don't require me. It's going to be you. Okay. Yeah, put some boy in there. Yeah, I'm going to put some on this one. Yeah, put some boy in there. And don't require me. It's going to be you. Okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 01:15:49 That's what I'm going to work on. So that's what I'm going to send my people back to the drawing board with. Come up with something Ocho can do. Maybe a game show or something. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:59 I like that. But you know how game shows work. Yeah. You shoot like three, four episodes a day. Yeah. But you shoot them over the course of like a month. That's fine. That's fine how game shows work. You shoot like three, four episodes a day, but you shoot them over the course of like a month. That's fine. That's fine. I'm okay. Okay.
