Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an iHeart Podcast. I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on Good Company, the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of 2B. We dive into the competitive world of streaming. Would others dismiss as niche we embrace as core? There are so many stories out there. And if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen. Listen to Good Company on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:00:43 your podcasts. Sometimes as dads, I think we're too hard on ourselves. We get down on ourselves on not being able to, you know, we're the providers, but we also have to learn to take care of ourselves. A wrap-away, you got to pray for yourself as well as for everybody else, but never forget yourself. Self-love made me a better dad because I realized my worth. Never stop being a dad. That's dedication. Find out more at fatherhood.gov, brought to you by the US Department of Health
Starting point is 00:01:14 and Human Services and the Ad Council. The Volume. Welcome to the Bubble Dove Show everybody. How y'all doing today? I ain't doing too good but since I got y'all here for a little while, man, hit the like button. Go ahead and hit the subscribe button. I know we cranking up kind of early today.
Starting point is 00:01:38 I know y'all used to me coming on at night, but I want to come to y'all this evening. Yeah, a little bit afternoon. Yeah. Y'all ain't doing want to come to y'all this evening. Yeah, a little bit after noon. Yeah, y'all ain't doing nothing. Some of y'all off. You're going to set your kids off. You're at the house. You're chilling. Goddamn it.
Starting point is 00:01:53 We're going to have some fun today. So hit that like button. You see I'm already smoking. You see I'm already going through some shit. I stay in some shit. One thing about being black, you're going to stay in some shit. If you ain't got nothing to do with you, your family members, they going to put you in some shit. One thing about being black, you gonna stay in some shit. Even if you ain't got nothing to do with you, your family members, they gonna put you in some shit. But let me speak of in some shit right now.
Starting point is 00:02:13 Zion, I still look like I'm full from Thanksgiving, Face-Aid, Williamson. It's in some shit right now. Being accused of rape, being accused of threatening people. That's what's going on right now in the world with our black entertainers that's in the world right now. They're being accused of rape. They're being accused of harmful things. And for me, for once, I'm sick of it. I'm supposed to be up here right now
Starting point is 00:02:39 talking about the Pacers, talking about OKC, which I will, but right now I've got to start the show out with something negative. Now, I'm going to be for real. I don't think Zion Weasley raped nobody. I don't think Biggie Eagles. What a bruises there. What a broken bones there. Why he didn't get injured while he was doing anything? He injured for everything else?
Starting point is 00:03:03 Why he ain't injured when he was raping somebody or hurting somebody is what I want to know. Somebody talk to me. Somebody in the comments right now, tell me, tell me am I wrong? Now, if he done these things, he get what he deserve. But I don't see Zion bootin' face and wings from rapin' nobody, homin' nobody.
Starting point is 00:03:31 I might see him take talk and shit. Now, he might've did threaten him. Hell, I do it from time to time, allegedly. I threaten him, motherfucker. Bitch, you go through my throat again, I kill you. That don't mean I'm really gonna kill you. I'm just saying some shit to try to get my bluff in for number one, because I can't fight.
Starting point is 00:03:48 We all know that. I know that and y'all know that. So I'm gonna ask one thing that I got is a my piece. I'm gonna use my mouth to try to get me out of anything. So I don't think Zion Williamson raped anybody. Have he been fucking with these porn stars the whole hell Oh hell yeah, every since he got into the league. He been he been sleeping with number porn stars So at the end of the day, I blame you The company you keep man. It's all about the company you keep bro
Starting point is 00:04:19 Because right now we live in the world right now man. People are lazy. They don't want to work They want to get easy come ups. You're a hundred, $200 million man and these women gonna come out to you, bro. They lawyers in here. Who you dating? I'm dating Zion, though. Oh, I'm dating John Moran.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Oh, have you ever raised this far? I said, you have you ever touched you? And they running with it. So you got to be smart. You have to be smart in today's time. And you ain't gotta be rich to get sued for no shit like this. They coming out to each and everybody. Zion, he was already on the verge of being traded.
Starting point is 00:04:53 And it sucks that these black athletes, these black entertainers have to constantly go through these things that run your name through the mud. Now you got people who was looking up to you. Now they ain't looking up to you no more. They think you done done something when you ain't even done it. You know, you're innocent until proven guilty, but we don't live in that kind of world right now.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Soon as your name go up in headlines and say you done a rape or you punt somebody, you're guilty in the world eyes at that time. And it sucks because it it hurts sponsorships, it hurt deals. I mean, it hurt a lot of stuff. And I hate to see Zion Williamson going through this, but he's not the only one that's going through
Starting point is 00:05:36 these things right now. We already know what's going on with Diddy. And right now, we already know what went on with R. Kelly, and et cetera, et cetera. But it's just slowly going on down the list. And right now we already know what went on with R. Kelly, etc. etc. But it's just slowly going on down the list and it's starting to piss me off right now of what's going on in the world because now there's been a claim against our beloved brother Smokey Robinson. They saying Smokey Robinson was out here sexual assault and misconduct with his housekeepers.
Starting point is 00:06:09 From 2006 to 2024, Brother Smokey Robinson has been harassing housekeepers. Smokey Robinson 95 years old. I'm pretty sure this motherfucker don't remember nothing he did an hour ago. I don't think he in his right mind. What's dementia? If I'm Smokey Robinson, I'm saying I got dementia. That's my new go-to right now. At my age, I got dementia.
Starting point is 00:06:35 I don't know what I said yesterday. I don't know what I did a couple of minutes ago. I don't remember. Smokey Robinson, we talking about a legend. We talking about from Detroit, Motown. This man wrote for the Smokey wrote on wrote for the Miracles, the Temptations, Marvin Gaye, the Four Tops, the Supreme. I'm talking about Smokey Robinson, a motherfucking legend.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Take the glasses off for this shit right here. Man, 85, man. Y'all going to wait till this man get to this certain age, man, to come out and say y'all been sexual harassed. I call bullshit. You yellow crookbuckers ain't going to rape no wimp. I ain't never heard of no yellow rapist, alpha. I can make us some dark skin, my vocals.
Starting point is 00:07:28 But a yellow man like Smokey, right? Never. Fuck a ropher, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye. Come on now, man, the disrespect. Gotta stop, because soon as we hear the allegations, you got these big networks and these bloggers they run with Smokey been doing this he was probably doing it back in back in the 60s never Smokey wasn't doing nothing but drinking milk eating cookies and writing songs. That's all Smokey Roberts who were doing
Starting point is 00:08:00 I'm not letting y'all put dirt on Smokey Roberts name. I I won't do it. David Ruff, Dick David Ruffins rolling over in his damn grave right now. All these damn allegations, they got to just my boy, man. You know he wrote the song, the way you do the things you do. Oh, come on, not in the 60s. The way you do the things you do. Come from smokin'. Come from smokin' being right in your midst for that 10 paces.
Starting point is 00:08:29 Ain't nobody come to see you, oldest, and you know it. You damn right, oldest, pissed off right now, man. It seem like everybody that we love, man, and I'm not saying these brothers can't do no wrong because we all do wrong, but it seem like everybody that we love, man, and I'm not saying these brothers can't do no wrong, because we all do wrong. But it seems like everybody we love, everybody that we pull up there, I'm like, oh man, they have an excellent career, this, that, and the third. It's like they starting to bring them down now, man.
Starting point is 00:08:56 It's like we don't have nobody to even want to look up to like Jay-Z. Fuck Jay-Z. We don't look up to no damn Jay-Z. Fuck Jay-Z, we don't look up to no damn Jay-Z. First we were riding with Cap. We trying to get Cap back on the field. A month later, Jay-Z signed a goddamn deal with the NFL. Cap ain't never play again. Tell me I'm lying.
Starting point is 00:09:21 You supposed to been helping the man get on the goddamn field, Jay-Z. You're supposed to be helping the man get on the goddamn field. JZ, you didn't Anybody we get in position they don't do what they supposed to do now They either let me know one thing either they full of shit or these people are threatening them behind closed doors and telling them Telling them if they don't do what they say they're gonna lose everything they got. I don't know which one to believe but I do know some bullshit is going on. Now I want to take y'all back to what I just got through talking about
Starting point is 00:09:58 y'all with that Colin Kaepernick situation. Jay-Z was supposed to be fighting with these 32 NFL owners or getting Kaepernick back on the field. But what wound up happening was Jay-Z and Roc Nation has been in control of the halftime entertainment. You know how it done ball roll. Nigger him, we gonna get y'all some him but Kapanic he ain't playing no not a man I'm not a motherfucking down in my lead Tell me I'm lying ain't that's what the NFL basically saying to Jay-Z her take this entertainment shit
Starting point is 00:10:37 Do what you want to do with it, but Kapanic is not playing You know, I don't give a damn how many how he working out. Give a damn how big his Afro is. I don't give a damn how the black people really feel about it. We don't want that son of a bitch on our field nilling. They get the good old boys in the morning nilling, y'all. But then you had veterans, the Army, the Navy, the Air Force come out and say the Kaepernick wasn't being disrespectful at all.
Starting point is 00:11:09 And them sons of—still wasn't trying to hear it. You see, I said some shit a while back on my show right here, and people took it the wrong way what I said. I say when you in the MLB, I say when you in the MLB I say when you in the NFL and when you in the NBA this might sound crazy but understand what I'm coming from with this you are property of them don't give me you hundred fifty two hundred two hundred fifty million dollars you don't think the motherfuckers know you going out at night fucking with hoes you don't think I don't know that You a property you can't do certain things when you in the NFL or when you in the NBA you can't do it Huh
Starting point is 00:11:57 You think Jama, right can go in and jump on a motorcycle right now right now I'll be damned y'all see what happened to Jay Wilson with the Chicago Bulls that brother had a promising career, but he got injured you think oh Luca can get on the motorcycle right now ride up and down LA on them fast You bring your brick head Billy ass back over here and let me talk to you over here in the states. We ain't riding over cycles. Do you hear me? You is property of Los Angeles. That's how they look at us, man. I'm just being honest, man. It sucks, but it's real talk. And I'm not just up here just saying I land this shit.
Starting point is 00:12:41 I'm telling you some real shit. It's rules and regulations in the big boy leagues. It's rules and regulations at your job. Somewhere at the job now, it's smoke free. You can't smoke these motherfuckers on your job no more. Because there's a lot of motherfuckers who really smoke cigarette right now, at work right now, feeling like a motherfucker.
Starting point is 00:13:01 So what they do on their break, they get in their car, and they lead to smoke in the league You can't do what you want to do you got to do what the mom phone Tell you to do so it's contract in that contract. You say for certain football players. You got to be between 300 to 350 pounds when you get to count. You get to count? You're 361?
Starting point is 00:13:28 You getting a fine? It's rules and regulations to this shit. That's all I'm saying to y'all right here today, man. Talking back to my point was, there's so many of our black leaders, I ain't gonna call them leaders because them leaders ain't led shit but led us into killing. Man, talking back to my point was, there's so many of our black leaders. I ain't gonna call them leaders because them leaders ain't led shit, but led us into killers.
Starting point is 00:13:50 These rappers been teaching us how to kill and hate one another for years. Let's just keep it 100, man. It's a bitch a lot of bullshit-ass rappers. I real talking about absolutely nothing, but keeping us dumb when you get mad when the cop pull you over you should See my point. That's bullshit. Ain't too many rap artists today got substance in their music
Starting point is 00:14:14 No more like they used to back in the day, but I ain't blaming them because that's what the music executives That's what they want to push. They want to push the guns. They want to push the drugs They don't want to push. They want to push the guns. They want to push the drugs They don't want to push God they don't want to push love. They don't want to push real black men being in your children line They're not gonna push that they're gonna push all the gun violence all they want all the women all the they gonna push all the Negatives all the devil shit is what they push All the devil shit is what they push. Oh, what they give you, $5, $10 million. You got diamond jewelry on that.
Starting point is 00:14:48 You got the house, you got the car, you got everything. You got the accountant, but the same accountant they set you up with, they're motherfuckers stealing. Why? Because you ain't focused. They got you focused on what? Drugs. You just go out and write songs and do all that
Starting point is 00:15:06 We'll we'll we'll handle the hard stuff. That's how I go motherfuckers talk. We handle all the hard stuff You just go on live your life. Don't worry about it. We got it But you don't worry about what's going on in your life You just know you got money just for you know, that goddamn bank account getting getting empty empty empty Empty empty because you ain't paying attention to what's going on. We got to be smarter these days You got to pay attention what's going on in your finances, bro. You got to be looking my shit every motherfucking day I don't need no motherfucking account. I know what not to spin. You know what this be I know And no certain shit I can't be doing.
Starting point is 00:15:49 You mean tell me, mother fucker don't know? Come on now. Come on, man. Zion was on that chick hog and she got mad when he popped out with her baby mama. Now she saying rape. Absolutely, that will go on, man. These females get mad mad don't get
Starting point is 00:16:05 they wait they will falsely accuse us of shit and until you get in hell shit going down here bro should be going down here fast oh I'm the court side you're doing a motherfucking thing but out the court, Zion ain't doing no motherfucking thing. But out the court, he getting off. After them games, most players wanna go home, get some rest, you know what I'm saying? You know, hit the solo and shit. Not Zion, Zion go home taking them goddamn clothes off and getting off. That's what big boy doing, getting off, dining in New Orleans. Got the Cajun shrimp, got the Cajun shrimp got the
Starting point is 00:16:46 Cajun gumbo got Cajun everything big untrayal food laid out for him. Yeah he doing something real something right there. Bucket naked doing whatever he want her to do. But only when brother Zion want to go and bring something else in. Now oh he touched me he did this he did that he promised me he threatened me he just had his body that's the shit that we deal with now I don't know if the NFL or the NBA having seminars on stuff like this with our young brothers I know they have seminars
Starting point is 00:17:23 on what they try to tell you what to do with your money and this and that but they gotta Be a seminar with these young brothers sitting them down who come from nothing Ain't never had this kind of money, but the spotlight is on you brother Yeah, she's sucking on you and kissing on you right now, but at the end of the day She don't want you like that. She just want your money Now I know y'all get seeing a picture of a brother, Smokey Robinson, Faye. Look at my brother, man. Look at my brother, Faye's mind. Green-eyed motherfucker. That man ain't raping nobody.
Starting point is 00:17:53 That man was a woman magnet. 56 to 60, 80s, Smokey Robinson. All he got to do is put them eyes on him and they getting wet. Man ain't got to do none of that. What they wet. They ain't got to do none of that. What they say, he ain't got to do none of that. Smoke it. And they're doing the same thing to our brother right now. Sigh.
Starting point is 00:18:19 I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on Good Company, the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen. Would others dismiss as niche we embrace as core? It's this idea that there are so many stories out there
Starting point is 00:18:52 and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen. Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide. And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your
Starting point is 00:19:22 podcasts. Set up goals. Don't worry about a setback. Just save up and stack up to reach them. Let's put ourselves in the right position. Pre-game to greater things. Start building your retirement plan at ThisIsPretirement.org. Brought to you by AARP and the Ad Council. Got to make better choices in life, man. Better choices in life. I promise you that, man. We all do. We can't sit up there and blame Zion.
Starting point is 00:20:13 Oh man, if it was me, if it was what? If you was 24, 25 years old, sitting on $200 million, what would you do? You can't do nothing with the $50,000 and $100,000 you got now. What you gonna do with that kind of money? I told you money only make you more than what make you more what you really are. Now it's a whole lot of shit we going through right now. I'm scrolling on IG. I see Cardi B and I was there. I see Cardi B I see Carl AB and I'll say I see Carl it be Twerking that ass right in front of stuff on big face. That's what I seen and even though she married and at the end of the day I look I didn't keep doing it. Call it be don't you stop?
Starting point is 00:20:58 I'll say that the goddamn how we'll raise her to a goddamn arm to his wrist You can say what you want but you're mental you mental not stephan these getting all these good Lord you can build up you can roast on for yeah these blood you yeah I was a pin did that. Got on point. And you gonna let that motherfucker knell for? I'm not letting them goddamn courtesies be laying shit here. I'm doing whatever I gotta do to fix my motherfucker relationship.
Starting point is 00:21:34 I'm out here, I'm putting hands on Stephon Deed. I'm telling Stephon Deed, he ain't got to worry about the Patriots releasing it. He got to worry about me releasing these motherfucking hands because I'm putting them on me. On site too. Ain't not coming to get my kids. I'm not coming to get them. I'm coming over to fight. We feel like we both feel like fight for her. We feel like prove who really want her the most. I'm gonna prove it that day. I'm gonna prove it that I'm gonna show y'all what I can really do. I mean did y'all see the video though. That's what I'm asking out
Starting point is 00:22:07 Did y'all really see video? Oh what she was doing? She was talking she was looking back God man And I Still fund these brother, you know, I know y'all read about the headlines with him. Oh look right there. Look at that Damn, look at God. Look at that. Look at look at he don't know what to do it because he don't want it But we ain't even go there. He don't really want to wait on some mail. She was sitting here. I think I think he don't really want I'm angry, you know go there, but you don't really want like that You just want to be seen with them hoes.
Starting point is 00:22:45 I don't want to be seen with them hoes. I want to be in between them hoes. If you know what I'm saying. We know a lot of nickels be with a bunch of females, but they ain't fucking nothing. Them hoes and they're getting naked in front of them. These niggas turning their head. Real men ain't turning their head when a woman get naked. Bitch, what you looking? What my looking ass? Even if I had one, I'm still goddamn looking. Dude, I'm looking. I'm watching. All I'm saying was, Stephon Diggs was on the boat. You was allegedly caught giving pink cocaine to women. Bro, once again, you in the NFL, bro. The spotlight is on you. Everybody got camera
Starting point is 00:23:26 phones these days. They got them out, they watching. They trying to get the views, they trying to get the likes. You got to be more mindful of what you doing brother. At the end of the day because one mistake can cost you your career. You just come off a touring ACL, Patriots just gave you 69, 70 something million, bravo. Don't think for one second, them motherfuckers won't cut you, bro. Don't think for one second, them motherfuckers won't cut you, man.
Starting point is 00:23:52 We got to make it count. Us black people, bro, we, some of us ain't, you know what I'm saying, per se, we don't have much leeway, what I'm trying to say, we don't have much leeway, what I'm trying to say, we don't have much leeway. So you have to take advantage of the opportunities that you got, man. Don't squander your career away, man, behind none, singing foolishness, man.
Starting point is 00:24:18 If you want to do cocaine, do it in your house behind closed doors, bro. Don't do it out in the opening like that, bro. That's all I'm saying. You see what Brother Cone's going through? He put put it on his cell he brought that on his cell you seeing what come on bro there's a lot of examples out here in the world of what not to do why are we still making the same old mistakes i don't know i don't know if this ain't our blood or whatever it is but we are still making the same damn mistakes and we gotta start making them same mistakes at the end of the day
Starting point is 00:24:51 I'm out smoke, you know, I'm up here just playing around with this cigarette man I don't smoke but with these new women are only happy with the bag I like one like the old school women if I have a long to have to do it so be yes. It's game of change man. Um, You know, I got a lot of old school people on this show right now watching man I'm pretty sure y'all can tell us some shit can educate us On women from the 70s from the 80s to the 90s to the 2000s now But the game is changed now most women feel like they don't need no man. They don't need no nigga, man They can do better without it and bright flips. Oh, I get it
Starting point is 00:25:27 but I grew up in I grew up where a woman and a man was together they they they is 50-50 or 75-25 either always a man in the woman mostly they mostly relationship these women It's just a woman man and the dude somewhere else He they they didn't want black families to be together no more. They wanted us to be separated, where they can control the situation. Now they can put your girl on housing and government assistance.
Starting point is 00:25:55 Now, you see my point? That's what they did in the 60s, to keep the black man out of the household, man. Yeah. The way they looked at it is when we together we stronger but when we separate we weaker see that's what they try to do you ever see them wolves when you watch the yellowstone when they up there no goddamn wolf chasing them chasing them bison and whoop whoop what they do they try to separate them from the herd that's no different from what the
Starting point is 00:26:23 devil do now when you're chasing God and you're trying to Little right for the heavenly father, but we all gonna fall short because we know we are not perfect We are not perfect But when you're serving God and you're trying to do writing and when you when you used to chase women now You ain't chasing no more you're chasing the good word of a heavenly father And when you step outside that door what the devil do he put some of the baddest women in the world in front of you. Do you understand what I'm saying? They put the devil put some of the baddest women in front of you. My point I'm making same back to Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson had all the money in the world and with that money he was able to what get his own doctor and with that doctor they doctor couldn't do what get prescriptions or
Starting point is 00:27:09 what. Pretty awesome. See when they know what you do they gonna make sure you get it. Ain't no no Michael you can't have it. No Mike. I know but no Michael. No Michael wouldn't hurt. No Michael with you. Yes Yes, boss Yes, boss Somebody around you got to be able to tell you no All right, nigga, you ain't got sued once before 20 million. Oh shit 20 motherfucking I see another one coming you better slow your ass down. You better stop what you do Matter of fact, if you don't stop, I'm out of there You got to have real friends and family around you to let you know when you doing wrong
Starting point is 00:27:57 See sometimes people let money control them. Well, she I don't want to say no to them or they gonna cut me off I rather you cut me off. I'd rather you cut me off and you still be alive than me not to cut you out. For me not to say nothing to you and you die. Sometimes people let you harm yourself, man. Why? Because they don't care.
Starting point is 00:28:21 They don't want you with it no way so you can go. I don't think like that man. Hopefully y'all don't think like that as well But I'm just simply here telling y'all here today man. We have to make better choices in life Moving on now I can get to the sports Topics at hand cuz I know that's what some of y'all here for you want to hear sports damn it. Let's get to it Um, I know y'all here for you want to hear sports then let's get to it. I know y'all know Shay Alexander. They in NBA finals right now. I'm going to get ready to play the Indiana Places this Thursday in Oklahoma. But Shay is eligible for a extension.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Yes, he's eligible for a extension this year. He can sign a four year two hundred and ninety three million dollar deal in the offseason if he wanted to. He's eligible for that. But if not, he can wait and then where he can sign that. I think it's like a five year, 300 something. Like the boy gonna probably be the highest paid player in the NBA coming up real soon.
Starting point is 00:29:18 Also Kyrie Irving, he can opt in with the Dallas Mavericks. He's up for extension. He can opt in for his 43.4 million that he's due or they are working on, let me see, I'm reminding myself of that, they are working on a four-year, $267 million deal with Kyrie Irvin this offseason coming off of ACL. If he don't opt in, they're going to work on a $267 million deal for four years. Nicole Jokic, he also is eligible for a three year $212 million deal as well. Shay Wright-Frisso deserves it. I don't see Kyrie can get back here until I don't see why Dallas wouldn't. Kyrie ain't but what, 32? Kyrie what, back here. I don't see why Dallas wouldn't Kyrie angle with 32 Kyrie with 32 33. Um,
Starting point is 00:30:07 I still say he got four five four good years left in so I could see them doing that. Yo, could I Mean best player in the NBA him in SGA. I mean if you you know, if you say Joker better I ain't gonna all if you say SGA better. I'm not gonna argue but that's the NBA news right now with the on Extensions coming up Norman Powell for the Clippers. He got extension coming up. I see if the Clippers are Going to resign him Luca For the Lakers he got extension he can sign too as well. Let's see what these players do I'm hearing Kevin Durant could end up in Minnesota with Antman Um, I think they're gonna take a lot of pressure off Antman having somebody like Katie that he could throw the ball to that can go
Starting point is 00:30:54 And get a bucket at any given time because right now it gets thrown Antman to hook a ball Go and get a bucket but they keen on you. They got a player right there on you They got a player right there on you They got a player right there in them at the top of the key So if he turn they make it sure he passed the ball They're making sure he's not getting in the driving lanes to the hole for layups and dunks So adding someone like Kevin Durant a sharp shooter that can hit the three mid-ranks game. He can mix it up. I think though, I don't know what Minnesota would have to give
Starting point is 00:31:26 up to Phoenix but ringing Kevin Durant to Minnesota would be great. Also hearing Kevin Durant with the Spurs, Dianell with Wimby Umber, De'Aaron Fox. I'm hearing about that as well. Um, heard by KD's name in a lot of places. I'm hearing about going to the Knicks as well. I don't know if he'll go back up that way because he had played with Brooklyn. I don't know. That remains to be seen. But the one that makes the most sense to me with him going up to the Minnesota right beside Ant-Man and man, they want to punch.
Starting point is 00:32:02 They want to punch right there with Ant Man And Katie cuz they won't be no more Dublin Ant Man like they was able to do these playoffs like you ain't gonna be able to double cause if you Dublin he kicking that Muffin got the Katie Katie gonna knock them up off that trust me Okay, you gonna knock them down and let's get Katie more praise Because he gonna get the praise he get because he went to Golden State and got him too. He teamed up with Karrion M. I don't care nothing about that shit. Just to be honest, man,
Starting point is 00:32:32 KD is a top 10 NBA player of all time. And my top 10, it changes from time to time, but we're gonna do it right here on this show. Y'all gonna jump in the comments right now with me as well. I'm gonna give y'all my top 10 And it's really no order, but it is what it is. No, you know, we're gonna do MJ. We're gonna do LeBron We're gonna do magic I'm gonna do a shack We're gonna do a Shaq. We're gonna do Kobe. We're gonna do a Bird. Okay, one, two, three, four, five, six. We're gonna do Katie. Three more. I got Shaq. Come on, my
Starting point is 00:33:22 top 10 now. Who else can I put on this list man? They don't forgetting right now. I gotta go Kareem. Gotta go Kareem. I don't know what I was thinking. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Two more. Gotta go Kareem or do a Jabal.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Bird. Gotta put Bird on there. I don't want y'all kicking my ass for that. And the last one I'm gonna do on my top 10. Somebody, don't say Bill Russell, RIP, love him to death, but I'm not putting Bill Russell on my top 10. I can't do it. Will. Will Chamer.
Starting point is 00:34:05 This is my top 10. Liz, y'all put y'all Liz down as well, Will Will chamber My top team This y'all put y'all this down as well, but that's my top team. I got MJ. I got Lebron. I got Kobe I got Katie gosh, I got bird got Kareem got bird got will chime. That's my that's my arm That's my top team in the NBA. I got right now now we're gonna do an NFL list I'm gonna let y'all help me out we ain't doing like the greatest players we're gonna do the greatest players on certain teams so this how we're gonna do this who was the greatest Chicago Bears player ever I'm gonna let y'all chime in with me the greatest Chicago Bear ever I will have to say Walter Payton.
Starting point is 00:34:48 I got Walter Payton as the greatest Chicago Bra ever. Okay. The greatest San Francisco player ever. And just a hard one, because you got the Joe Montano, you got the Steve Youngs, but the greatest 49er for me, and hopefully it's y'all, is Jerry Rice. I got Jerry Rice as the greatest San Francisco player ever.
Starting point is 00:35:18 That's what I got for that. My next one would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The greatest Tampa Bay Buccaneer ever. For me, it's either Derrick Brooks, and it's either Warren Sapp. But for me, and I might be wrong, I mean, y'all probably will help me on this, but for me, I'ma go with Warren Sapp for me, and I might be wrong, I mean, y'all probably help me on this, but for me,
Starting point is 00:35:45 I'm gonna go with Warren Sapp for me. Just what he brought to the game. He just a big dirty physical motherfucker, man. He had a nonstop motor coming out to you, man, playing with Derrick Brooks, Rondé Barber, had John Lynch back there. Like, Warren Sapp was Hall of Famer for sure. He already in the Hall of Famer for sure. So I got Warren Sapp is the greatest tap of a buckling all time. A Jacksonville Jaguar.
Starting point is 00:36:22 Greatest Jacksonville Jaguar of all time. And I know some of y'all are going to say Jimmy Smill and I can't argue with that. But for me, I got to go with Fred Taylor. Coming out of Florida, what he was able to do in that backfield, 6-2-6-3-235-4343 Fred Taylor with him dawg Like think about it running back 6263-235-4343 By the time he hit that motherfucking hole if you a linebacker If you ain't there he gon'
Starting point is 00:36:59 Do you understand? By the time he hit that hole if you ain't there he gon' And they say let's just say if you do me, he's dirty as the hatter. What you gonna do with that? Shit. I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on Good Company, the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi,
Starting point is 00:37:27 for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there. And if you can find a way to curate and help
Starting point is 00:37:51 the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen. Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide. And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your
Starting point is 00:38:17 podcasts. I always had to be so good no one could ignore me. Carve my path with data and drive. But some people only see who I am on paper. The paper ceiling. The limitations from degree screens to stereotypes that are holding back over 70 million stars. Workers skilled through alternative routes, rather than a bachelor's degree. It's time for skills to speak for themselves.
Starting point is 00:38:49 Find resources for breaking through barriers at tearthepapersceiling.org, brought to you by Opportunity at Work and the Ad Council. And we'll keep doing this throughout the week on teams, greatest players. But y'all let me know what y'all think on that. Somebody say Travis Hong. Well, Travis Hong ain't did nothing yet, bro.
Starting point is 00:39:11 You got Brian Erlacher, Chicago, Barry Elber. I don't think Brian Erlacher was a great player, but they didn't win them with Brian Erlacher. That's all I'm saying. They didn't win them with Brian Erlacher. I didn't see that. You know Barry Sanders is the greatest Detroit Lions player ever. Ain't nobody gonna really top Barry unless Jared Goff go off and win the Super Bowl. If Jared Goff bring a Super Bowl and win MVP You gotta put him up there man Because Barry Sander wasn't able to do that. He quit because he got Tiger losing so
Starting point is 00:39:54 Let's see how that goes man with that as well and you know You know baseball time I told y'all y'all better be checking in with me on this baseball stuff, man Cuz I gotta let y'all know yesterday games, you know, we had seven games yesterday case y'all didn't know the Colorado Rock is one y'all The Colorado Colorado Rock is one. I guess he breaking news Tom Tippadoe fired for the New York Knicks Man who y'all gonna bring up there now to replace Tom Thibodeau? I mean breaking news Tom Thibodeau fire from the Knicks man. I
Starting point is 00:40:32 mean I think y'all should have stuck it out one more year with Tom Thibodeau but maybe it's some inside turmoil going on between him and the players and they maybe thought maybe you know he got just the force he can really get us. Sometimes you got to think about it. Sometimes coaches only can get you so far. Maybe. The owner of the Knicks got his eyes on somebody that he thinking, get they team over the hump, which to the finals. I mean, he got you out to the Eastern conference finals.
Starting point is 00:41:01 So let's do, I'm intrigued by this. I mean, that's breaking news. Cause y'all didn't know Tom Tibbedo has been fired by the New York Rat Knicks I think the I think the rats fool that I think the rat just got the rats all over it right now because I'm hearing Tom Tibbedo didn't give a certain rats special privileges in the locker room. So I can see this shit coming y'all. I can see Tom Timberdough getting fired by
Starting point is 00:41:32 them rats. The rats got this shit written all over. I know they MO. I know they MO right now man. They have to make a splash like this. So New York Nits just fired Tom Timberdough. Back to the baseball. Yesterday was seven game. The Colorado Rockies beat the Miami cocaine Marlins six to four. Hunter Goodman was feeling good. He smacked two homers, including a go ahead to run side in the fifth. And so I got to the Colorado Rockies, y'all. They they don't want 11 games so far.
Starting point is 00:42:00 Los Angeles Angels, Angels beat Boston Red Sox 76. Mr. Mike Trout said, y'all must forgot, dropped a 454 home run. Four hit it, 450 and four, full it. Mike Trout doing his thing, man. He had three hits, he led a six run first inning, and the Angels squeezed out to win that game. The Red Sox pitching was terrible.
Starting point is 00:42:21 I'm talking about the Boston Red Sox pitch trash. Y'all got to play better. Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cincinnati Reds 3-2 Christian Yelich is high. He was high like fish grease. He had four homers in six game as the Brewers brewed up their eighth straight Dub this year. Somebody better check them back. They might be laced with cheese curds real tall Milwaukee Brewers getting off Detroit Tigers won 3-13 To one gets Chicago White Sox. What the fuck 13-1 against Chicago White Sox. What the fuck is going on with the White Sox this year? Kerry Carpenter was hitting bombs like he was mad
Starting point is 00:42:52 at the ball. Three homers, five RBIs, and full of demolition on the job on the White Sox. The Tigers turn into a crime scene. Chicago might wanna call CSI, man. San Diego Padres won one to0 against the San Francisco Giants. Just good ball playing, man. Pictures were stinging yesterday.
Starting point is 00:43:13 They weren't giving up shit. The Minnesota Twins beat the Oakland A's 10-4. Remember Oakland A's is moving to Los Vegas. Yeah, Vegas getting all the teams now. Basketball team next. Remember that Minnesota 1- 10 to four, man. Byron, Bucks and Masters, career high with five RBIs and the twins handed the A's to seven straight loss.
Starting point is 00:43:33 New York Mets beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 43, we went 10 Indians. Sure your turning, you know, doing things like y'all always do, hit a home run, 23 home runs so far for suey or Tony 23 home run for suey or Tony that brings me to bubble dub picks baseball right now Basketball ain't the Thursday number baseball games going on right now So, you know the show being presented by who prize picks that's right type in go to prize picks type in my promo code Trash with the two H's is more or less on your favorite player. You put five dollars in they gonna Give you 50 something. I'm doing different on this show now
Starting point is 00:44:09 I'm gonna show y'all my picks that y'all know Who I picked today and what I got going on and all you got to do is go on You can follow my picks right there. That's who I got right there today If I win, I win $1,560 then my picks right there today. If I win, I win 1,560 out. Then my picks right there, it's on your favorite player. That's all you have to do is go on there and look at it. Let you know right there, the pitching. Will they strike out six or more people?
Starting point is 00:44:34 Will they strike out six or will they not strike out six? It's just more or less, man, if you're in a case, I don't know how to play it, man. That's what I'm doing. I'm putting my picks up here. When I go live again, I have my basketball nba final picks up And um y'all can go from there now. I've been on I ain't I ain't been kicking that like I normally been kicking that so You know what i'm saying? You can use this if you want if not I ain't mad at you make your own god dang picks and go off
Starting point is 00:45:01 Now if you can't watch this show, you only can listen to my show go to Apple podcast go to Spotify Download the bubble dub show boom. Damn man. Simple is that NBA finals Thursday night? Okc vs. The Indiana Pacers. It's gonna be the first game. Um, it's gonna be lit man. You got Halliburton you got SGA You got Jalen Ween you got SGA, you got Jalen Ween, you got Pascas Iacomoga. And I forgot, I made a mistake, I said nobody over had a ring besides Rick Carlos, I lied, my bad. Sycam had a ring with the Twyma Raptors when Kawhi Leonard, you know, he had that hell of a playoff run with the Raptors.
Starting point is 00:45:46 So he has a ring over there right now. I know y'all was making fun of Tyrese Holliburton when y'all was like, man, he thought he had won the East New Company Final MVP. He really did. But Sycombe been getting out. He been the most consistent player over there with Indiana right now. I'm trying to figure out who is OKC gonna pull on Sycambe to stop him. I don't really see nobody on OKC can stop Sycambe.
Starting point is 00:46:07 I think Sycambe's gonna average a little over 28 points this series. Let's see how this series goes. Remember, I said, and I'm just going on a limb, I know y'all gonna say I'm crazy, but I got the Pacers winning this series in seven. I know it's a long shot. I just like going for the underdogs. I know everybody got OKC picked the winning rightfully so. Not disagreeing with that at all. I just think, I just feel like Indiana some way, somehow is gonna win this NBA finals in seven games. And it's gonna be a crazy
Starting point is 00:46:41 story for Indiana. The people in Indiana feel like they deserve it, man, because they couldn't get it done with Reggie Miller. All them good years, all them good teams they had. They had Jermaine O'Neal, Steven Jackson, Jamal Tinsley, Jaylen Rose. I don't know if Jaylen Rose was there or not. He had already done. But Reggie Miller was on that squad as well. And they got into the fight at the palace with Detroit.
Starting point is 00:47:11 They always say that that team right there was one of those teams that could have potentially went on and went to the NBA finals and done something. But it didn't happen. So this team here is now, let's just see some good ballplay. Hopefully the referees don't dictate the games like they've been doing, the outcomes. It sucks when the game come down to the refs. Because who get robbed? We get robbed.
Starting point is 00:47:33 You know, when the refs make a bad call or don't make the right call per se. They got all the cameras in the world, but these motherfuckers still going to make the right call, I think is totally totally horse shit if you ask me. That's just what I'm feeling right now. Talking to the show, people hit me up, ask me questions questions the hell no segment And you know somebody hit me up and asked me hey bubba dub Hey bubba dub if it was you if you if you was I young we issue Would you just pay him but you just pay these females for me just go away. Hey, oh no I ain't done nothing wrong. I ain't paying shit. I'm going to walk
Starting point is 00:48:21 I put I got my lawyers for the NBA gotta come up with better lawyers for the player better protection plan for the players and Protect them from situations like this. They got I don't know if it's an NBA or whatever it is It got to be some other you got to be able to sign look you at your own risk But this motherfucker over him you understand you at your own risk now If you don't if you don't mind being at your own risk Got them sign this right now now in the paperwork now. He's not you know, baby rape He can't do nothing and we don't he ain't gonna do nothing all that But if you and this man engage in sexual intercourse willing Ain't we ain't coming back to 15 20 years saying you've done something. We're not doing that. This is not what that is
Starting point is 00:49:04 It's like it's hard to date these days because you don't know who out to get you. Like, it's a lot of niggas right now watching this show. Not niggas, lot of men. You done done some bull shit in your past. You ain't rape nobody, you ain't did that. But you done said some fucked up shit to somebody. You done probably put somebody in an uncomfortable situation.
Starting point is 00:49:23 And you see what I'm saying? That shit could come back and hunt you right now, man. somebody you can probably put somebody in an uncomfortable situation and You see what I'm saying? That shit can come back and hunt you right now, man Your past can literally come back and hunt you even though you ain't done nothing wrong but your past can come back to hunt you right now and That's the sad thing about this shit right now man shit from 25 and 30 years ago you might have slapped a motherfucker you might have slapped a bitch 35-40 years ago that motherfucker come back out right now and say you slapped and get some money from out your ass ain't that something 35-40 it don't matter they ain't come forth then they coming forth now Boy, it don't matter. They ain't come forth then. They coming forth now.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Leaves me back to my point right now. I made a video yesterday and I was talking about we do everything for YouTube and I'm really talking about myself. We do everything for Instagram. We do everything for Facebook. We do everything for everybody else. But we really need to be doing the most for the man up above. He the one who the reason why we woke up, just the reason why we can see,
Starting point is 00:50:26 the reason why we can smell, the reason why we can taste. We don't give the good Lord enough blood. So with my platforms, what I'm gonna always do, even though I'm a sinner and I'm not perfect and I don't try to, and I don't claim to be, I'm only a man. I sin like everybody else sin.
Starting point is 00:50:43 But I do know right from wrong, and I do know I got the good Lord in my heart and my spirit and everything I do. And I'm only talking to me, man. If I'm talking to you, and the words going to you, and then it's our love, we got to do better for God, man. Because when we're weak and sick, we calling on him. And then when we get on our feet good, we kind of kind of forget about him kind of put him on the back burner only when we see trouble again
Starting point is 00:51:08 And we know trouble is coming we want to run the guy but he's always there for us But when can we gonna be there for God see God don't need us. We need God At the end of the day God don't need us. We need him and I know I do maybe I don't That's good for you. I'm not putting God on y'all whatever some of y'all believe in what y'all want to believe that's cool I believe in what I believe in I believe I wouldn't be here today I wouldn't be for the good Lord I wouldn't have the things I have I wouldn't be for the good Lord I wouldn't have the good fans that I have that support me and buy tickets to my show I wouldn't be for the good Lord so So, Lord, if you're hearing me, you're watching me now,
Starting point is 00:51:48 forgive me of all the sins that I have committed. I truly, in my heart, forgive me, and my friends and whoever else that's watching me.
