The ceasefire with Iran is holding new peace talks could happen as early as the weekend. Both the S&P 500 index and the NASDAQ closed at fresh record highs. The Dow was in the red, down 72 points Wednesday, led lower by shares of Caterpillar, which fell 3%. The S&P 500 index, though, was up for. 55 points, closing at 7,022 for the first time. And the NASDAQ was up 376 points. That was 1.5%. It closed at 24,016. Shares of Nvidia on Wednesday were up 1.2%. The NASDAQ, by the way, notched its 11th winning session in a row. But if you look at first quarter last year to first quarter this year, loan balances grew 3%.
Starting point is 00:02:25 Chargeoffs were down. Delinquencies are down 5 and 30 and other delinquents. so the consumer credit quality our portfolio is actually improving. B of A CEO Brian Moynihan on CNBC. Home Builders pretty down about their business. The National Association of Home Builders Sentiment Index hit a seven-month low. Anything under 50 is negative. We're expecting a number around 37.
Starting point is 00:02:49 It comes in weaker at 34. Yes, we're lower and we're lower than what we were last month. And what's notable here is that this is the weakest sentiment going back to CEP of 25 when it was 32. It hasn't been above 40 since Feb of 25. That's CNBC's Rick Santelli. Walmart did a little research and it found its great value products aren't really something you want to show off in your kitchen. So it's refreshing the brand.
