Welcome to the fantastic
Caza del Tesoro of Coffee Break.
Join us for a virtual treasure hunt
across Europe, episode two.
In this miniseries,
Mark is on a virtual treasure
hand across Europe,
as he follows the clues left for him
by the coffee break team.
And we're inviting you to join me on this quest.
As you know, we started
in Glasgow and we are passing through
three checkpoints in total.
In each of this, you will receive
a clue that will help you
reach the next checkpoint.
Last time, we traveled to a city known
for its water and masks, and that's
where we're starting today's episode.
Keep on listening to find out more about how to enter
this competition and win some
incredible prices. But before that,
it's time to reveal clue number
two. Well, Pablo, what's
today? Very well, and you?
Very well, very emucenado.
Let's go straight for our clue.
Pista number two.
A pasto real and
a service to
Aubour
A garden
English
Verde and singular
In the
10th month
The city
can't
His song
And a
Grand
Cathedral
So it
Alza
In Union
What you
What you
Interesting
There's
There's
There
Some
Okay
Let's listen
One more
Time
Venga.
Un Pasado Real and Cerveza to Provar.
A garden in English,
verde and singular.
In the 10th month,
the city can't a song.
And a grand cathedral
is aal in union.
Okay.
So let's go through line by line
and we'll talk about the vocabulary
and the interesting words in here.
So to begin with
Un Pasado Real.
Now the word real
means royal, doesn't it?
It's one of those
false friends because it looks like real.
You have to be careful, yeah.
I suppose a regal past.
We could see a royal history.
And
Cerveza to Provar
and beer to try.
To try, to taste.
To taste. Okay.
So a royal history
and something to do with beer so far.
A garden,
English,
Berede and singular.
Now, this is a strange one
because I did not expect us to be in England,
but there's a garden English, an English garden.
Yes.
Verde is green and singular.
Particular, unique.
Nothing really like it in a sense.
Okay.
In el decimum mess,
La Ciudad can't his cancion.
So El Deceimumes is the 10th month.
Exactly.
That's the original number.
So in the 10th month, or October, maybe.
The city can't its song.
So the city sings its song.
And a grand cathedral,
and a great cathedral,
se alza rises in union.
In union,
together with the town.
Right.
Okay.
Okay.
So let's review. We've got a royal past. We've got beer. We've got an English garden, a green and unique English garden. Then something happens in the 10th month when the city sings its song and there's a great cathedral which rises together with the city.
I think that are those pistas very good.
I also
because I
have an idea
of what is
that
we are going to see
one more thing
and that is our
clue
so there's a
bonus clue
exactly
if you were
learning the
language
which was the
third
to be introduced
to the
coffee break
family
you could
practice here
okay
so
believe it or not
I know
which language
was the third
coffee break
language
so I know
what
language we're practicing in this city.
Give us some directions from our previous checkpoint.
So this checkpoint is 190
miles from the previous one.
Okay. 190 miles.
Or if you preferes in kilometers,
306 kilometers.
306 kilometers. Okay.
And in what direction?
We're going to the north.
Okay.
That I think has confirmed it for me.
But again, I'm not going to say anything because it's not my job.
No.
We have a competition to run here and we hope that our listeners remember the clue for our first checkpoint last time.
And then this checkpoint.
Now, you need to add up all of these checkpoints.
There will be four in total.
Of course, this is Wednesday, the 6th of November today.
The next clue, clue number three for checkpoint number three, will be revealed on Friday the 8th.
and then the final checkpoint will be revealed on Sunday the 10th
and we're going to be announcing not only all of the locations of these checkpoints
but the winners of our competition on Tuesday the 12th of November
in a special live broadcast.
So there you have all the information you need.
Not all the information, Mark,
because we need to talk about what our listeners can win, no?
Of course, because anyone who correctly guesses all four checkpoints
wins a free month of the club.
and the club is our on-demand video library of language lessons
so you can enjoy a coffee break lesson
from one of our fantastic tutors, including Pablo,
on the go with our app or from the Coffee Break TV website.
And that's not all because everyone who takes part
will also be entered into a draw
to win lifetime access to our entire collection of courses
in your chosen language.
And there will be one winner for each language,
French, German, Italian and Spanish.

phenomenal well and this is where I'm bidding you farewell because it will be anabel
