Starting point is 00:00:00 This is Mark from Coffee Brick Spanish, and today we have a special announcement. Hello, all, and welcome to Coffee Briggs Spanish. Well, a news of Coffee Bricks Spanish. I'm here with Annabel. Hello, Annabelle. Hello, Mark. What, all? All right, all good, and, well, very, well, very emotional.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Well, emotional, also I'm very much. And is that, for fin, here we have the new season of Coffee Break Spanish. It's a new season of Coffee Brick Spanish. Coffee Brick Spanish, Season 5, if you like, but it's got a different name. As is, it's, it's, we'll talk about that in just a moment.
Starting point is 00:00:50 We can you tell us a little about this new season for advanced learners? We could start with saying why it has a name, and it has a name because it's a novel, it's a story. So that's why it's called La Penultima Voluntad. And this is a course for advanced learners of Spanish, and it has 20 chapters. And here we get to know. know the character is and what's going on in their lives.
Starting point is 00:01:12 Okay, so let's go to the title, La Penultima Voluntad. So La Ultima Voluntad would be the last will and testament. Uh-huh, as he is. But La Penultima Voluntad is something a little different. It's the second last Will and Testament, if you like. And you'll find out exactly why. Can you tell us a little about the story, Anabel? It tells the story of Marta de Los Janos.
Starting point is 00:01:34 She one morning receives a phone call from the family lawyer for like telling her to go to her parents' house for the reading of her father's will. And yeah, well, she's surprised because she didn't know her father, Carlos, died. And we also find out that her relationship with him was not the best and we didn't have like a regular communication. However, these inheritance might change that and might also change her life. Okay. So lots of mystery, lots of intrigues.
Starting point is 00:02:08 But it's really a kind of adventure, isn't it? It is because we are going to see that with these inheritance, she's going to start something. We'll not tell you what, because that would spoil the story. Now, this is a course, as you said, for advanced learners, and it was going to have multiple elements. First of all, our free podcast, which will not be on the Coffee Break Spanish feed. We have a separate feed for this advanced course.
Starting point is 00:02:34 So if you're listening to this on the Coffee Break Spanish feed, then you'll need to go and find Coffee Break Spanish Season 5. So we'll include a link at the end of the podcast to let you know exactly where to go. If you're listening to this on this feed for La Penulte La Voluntat, then you're very welcome and you've found the right place. So it's got the podcast, but what else is there as part of La Penitima Voluntad?
Starting point is 00:02:56 We also created a language study. That means that we explain in more detail, grammar and vocabulary, and also lots of lovely expressions that we can find there. And that's another audio episode. In fact, multiple audio episodes for each chapter. And that's you and me together. We're together.
Starting point is 00:03:12 We're together. We're together to grab this language study, this episode of language study. But also there's other thing, no? Yes, as is. And it is El Tayer Linguistico, kind of like a linguistic workshop. And here I joined like with Ava's Help. We discuss three different phrases or we, words from the text and provide further examples and also some practice. So just like to help everyone
Starting point is 00:03:42 to use this in their daily conversations. So for that, we're joined by Eva, another member of the coffee break team. And Eva actually took on this role, the same role in our advanced French course, La Verite de la Toujure. So in these episodes, in the Tare Linguistico, Eva will help you as listeners build your language skills by taking those interesting expressions from the of La Penultima Voluntad and using them in other situations and other contexts and really so that you can use them in everyday life. And also she gets the opportunity to ask some questions that maybe the listeners also have and we just like discuss that. Sounds perfect. Okay, so La Penultima Voluntad, how do you listen to La Penultima Voluntad?
Starting point is 00:04:27 Well, first of all, as I said, you need to go to the special feed for that. So you need to find on your favorite podcast app, Coffee Break Spanish. If you search for Coffee Break Spanish, you'll see the normal Coffee Break Spanish feed, and you'll also see the penultima voluntad linked to with Coffee Break Spanish. So that's the one that you need for each episode of the 20 chapters of this story. Well, and I'm too. Well, and I'm here we're trying. Well, much thanks, Annabelle.
