Dogs need it too, and Kail knows all the ins and outs of that from a past job experience. Welcome to another episode of coffee combos podcast. Hello, how are you? Well, I'm okay. I'm good. But this morning, along with every other morning that is to come this week, I have I will be running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Um, I'm wondering if that's everyone or just both of us because I week is also like that. I'm going to give you a little like synopsis of my morning. If you guys follow me on Instagram, you know that I posted this week that we have gone back digital. We got a tentative date that we would go back on the 19th of January. Um, however, that is if case numbers lower, which I don't see happening. Um, so basically we get on the zoom this morning or, you know, whatever programs you guys use. And Jackson's teacher is definitely like saying words that make me think that maybe the staff knows more than what the county is releasing right now, because she just made it seem like this process was going to be for a period of time that we were going to be doing digital learning. So that's going back on, um, Kale and I had recording set today. I think that I've talked about on the podcast before that I have someone come and help me clean one time a month to do like more of like my deep cleaning and stuff. So Miss Sandra is here today. Will is on my nerves today working in the house.

I'm still in my robe in case anybody wants to know what I look like. My hair is on top of my head still and I have managed to eat three fried eggs. So that's my morning. And I am sure a ton of other of you who are listening had similar mornings. If you have your kids at home still. So, Honestly, I love the chaos as much as I like complain about it on the podcast. Like I thrive in it. And I just love to just like run around. So I also had a chaotic morning, but I love that you added that will is on your nerves this morning. Because I just feel like that is, I mean, I bet if I had a husband or a wife that they would also be on my nerve. So relatable. I'm just like last night before I went to bed. I got upstairs before him always and I told I'm like screaming down from upstairs and I'm like, and you better make sure that the last time you use the stove is tonight because Miss Sandra is coming tomorrow and that stove is going to be spick and span and you're not using it tomorrow. And he's like, are you kidding me like get over yourself. Oh, he wasn't. He was not with the shits. He was not with it. And I'm just like, I don't know when I have helped cleaning my house for whatever reason, I just like it to stay nice for as long as possible because I just don't get to enjoy it like that every single day. And you know, will splatters that he leaves all the time just really, really chat my ass and I just, I can't get behind it. So Yeah, and then in the middle of the night. Oh my gosh. So Jackson has this like fan that we put in his room for noise purposes, but he has like two fans. So a fan like near his bed because I've always slept with one like a box fan. And so I guess he got used to it when he would sleep with me. And so then kind of like required it. But then our house is super quiet all the time. So when he goes to bed at like 830 and we're still up, I put it like another noisy fan and there that's like super, super noisy. Well, I guess the damn thing started breaking last night and started making like sinister sounds. And I thought someone was in the house. So I'm like tapping will at like three. It felt like it was like three o'clock this morning. I didn't even look at my phone. And I'm like, Will, someone's in the house and will's like, I'm scared. And I'm like, now is not the fucking time to be scared.

Yeah, kill. I kid you not. Jackson was standing on will's side of the bed. And I guess he was like afraid to say anything. So he was like, I'm scared to will like popped up out of the bed. And will was like, now I'm really scared. And it was that stupid fan like breaking in the room. You know those when the kids stand on the side of your bed and they just don't say anything and they're like in the middle of the night and you just like what are you doing just looking at me and how long have you been there. Announce your presence please like right when you enter the threshold of my door be like coming in. I'm here. Why are our kids like this? I don't know I hear about the people talk about that all the time like when their kids are just like at their bedside and you're like are you possessed like what's going on. Are you well like I cannot are you well.

I can't and then also. Wait, wait, wait, wait, that reminds me of a meme that I saw it was like probably like two years ago on just like a funny like parody account and it's like when your kid is standing at the side of your bed and they're like. I just threw up. I remember this. Yes, and you're just like why are you here. Like does anyone I can't even like catch my breath because I'm laughing so hard. Does anyone have kids that have like thrown up in the middle of the night and then they come and tell you like while they're still throwing. The toilet is the best place like right here is not the best place.

I just threw up like okay here we go. Okay, and you have it times four so bless you Kale like. I can't do you do your kids like have they ever gotten sick in the middle of the night. Yes, oh my God. Yeah, yeah for sure they have yeah. Yeah, mainly Isaac and Lincoln very few and far between but I have had I think Isaac Lincoln and Lux all three of them have had the infamous I just threw up. We've definitely experienced that with all three of them so I'm sure more is to come and it will get even better so. Oh my gosh well Jackson was like never a throw up baby so the first time he actually ever did throw up he had no idea what was going on so like he was so confused by this and I mean when I tell you by the time he threw up for the first time I swear to you he was like four years old not even a joke.

Oh wow. And so he didn't understand like why it just like kept coming up and I was like buddy I think you have your first virus and like. Will and I like talked behind the scenes like I wonder when Jackson's ever going to throw up like the same thing that we keep saying I wonder when he's ever going to lose a tooth because he still is not lost a tooth but. I don't know if anybody else's kids were like that but it was a very weird experience like I don't know maybe all kids like the first time they throw up it's like. Weird and they act like that but he literally was so dumbfounded like when it was happening he just like didn't know what to do he was so confused. That's I wonder if any other kids have experienced this because I've never heard. I don't know that's amazing because then that's like four years of not throwing up but I know I just dropped a pen. Do your kids like get viruses a lot because sometimes I hear families that like literally every time I talk to them.

I feel like one of their kids has a virus but then there's some people like us if there was wood where I was I would knock on it. Don't really get viruses so I wonder if like it's more common for some people like are they're more susceptible to it or they just have shitty luck or like what is it. No my kids never I mean knock on I'm not enough because I have wood right here but no my kids typically don't throw up. I mean yeah they've been sick a handful of times but they're 7 and 11 and Lux rarely is ever sick I don't even I can't really remember a time that he was like full on sick full on. Oh my gosh my kids my kids that being said the throwing up thing and I think I've talked about it before in the podcast like my kids have they're very really bad with gagging like everything makes them gag and throw up. Not in like a sick way but like in the they're disgusted way. Yes yes oh my gosh well I don't have that experience Jackson is pretty ruthless like nothing really nothing yeah nothing faces him including me. I really need to change my game these days I'm just like oh my god like the boys like at what age do they change to become.

I don't think they do. No like at what age do they become just like jerks because. Oh they're always jerks what do you mean. Jackson was so sweet until he got eight like a couple weeks ago and now like he really doesn't care that much about me. The only thing he cares about is watching Jesse because he's seeing pretty girls on TV I guess. Oh my gosh we were at the Japanese restaurant and somehow Will and I were talking about Real Housewives and Jackson overheard the conversation and Jackson he was like oh the person on Jesse. They also watched that show and I was like what show and he was like oh Real Housewives and like he was telling me this. Whole thing and I'm like oh my gosh like they talk about that kind of stuff on on this show and we'll kind of like watch as Jesse sometimes to freaking weirdo he's like well it's not so bad.

Now that it's like not cartoons it's like real people like I can stomach it you know what I I have a problem with Disney shows because I feel like they. They're just not the same like I just loved like sister sister smart guy boy meets world and I just feel like the Disney five version of all of these shows like when they did. Girl meets world yes all of these other shows it's just like not the same it's like not as homie it's like not as realistic it's like so disneyfied and fake that I'm like I can't. I can't I know well and then also like sometimes well I mean Jesse seems like. When I listen to it I'm like okay it kind of sounds realistic like it has some drama and it has you know like there's multiple facets to the show so I'm like okay I can get behind that. I was just thinking the other day someone had sent me a message on like one of the little ask questions on Instagram. It was like what was one thing that I believed in as a child but don't believe in it as an adult and I had to think for a second. And I thought like first thing that came to my mind after thinking for a while was fairy tales like I mean I'm sure people have them.

It's just not been my experience and maybe maybe like everybody's fairy tale is different but it's just like the way that it's portrayed via Disney is just not realistic. And like you mean you mean them like like getting married and the husband and the wife and like that whole thing. Yeah it's just like that's not the way life is anymore and like maybe it is and maybe it's just like not in my world but it's like okay. When it's going through these you know Disney storylines with a princess or whatever obviously like Beauty and the Beast is probably my favorite. But I mean when do you see like the parents arguing and like throwing an egg at each other's head or like weird stuff. Like it's like real life you know like obviously I just made that up maybe it's happened in my house. No but I get what you're saying. At what point do we show some real life stuff so that people are not. But you know what I think that would require people to really look in the mirror and say you know it would be okay to put some conflict in a show and show real life situations. That would require people to actually believe that I don't know what Miami number is calling me right now so I'm going to ignore it.

Well I mean I feel like I feel like you're right it would require for people to be open and also for people to allow their children to watch that like things aren't perfect because I do think a lot of people still live in the mindset of like let's put on this facade for our kids like everything's fine and I just I'm not raising Jackson that way I feel like it's okay like obviously we're not having knocked down drag outs in front of him because we just don't have knocked down drag outs at all but it's okay to like have a disagreement in front of your kid because I feel like you're setting up you're setting them up for unrealistic expectation later down the road if they think that everything's just like gravy you know. Yes no I totally hear you I mean I know like some shows had like I remember Roseanne the Cosby show like certain shows like that would have like some like disagreements even sister sister I feel like did but not in a way that was like like the shows that we watch now I feel like they I don't know though I haven't let me not speak on shit I don't know because I don't remember I haven't watched a Disney show in so long. Was it sister sister weren't weren't the parents divorced. No they were never married. Oh okay yeah sibling.

Okay yeah so that makes sense but yeah I mean just I don't know I just feel like when I think of having a daughter if I ever had one. I would just want her to realize that's like all not about you know like this fairytale life that you're just going to like dress up in a princess dress and you're going to be sweep the way off your feet and you know like Prince charming is just going to like be there and be the solve of all your problems like right right right and I think that's what was so big about frozen because it wasn't that way. Oh wait what. That was like when they had for yeah it was controversial like that because it was like the sister saving the sister not the and then like the one the one guy what was his name he was like not genuine. Oh I didn't really get no I mean I didn't really like get too much into frozen so I didn't know you have Jackson so yeah the same right right right. So I really wasn't watching that but now I need to tune into frozen to see what's going on actually speaking on TV I had posted that we canceled our cable and. I saw that I was going to ask you about that because you had told me that y'all were thinking about it but you didn't actually do it yet but you actually okay so turns out you did do it.

Yeah we did this week started going through all the rooms just like taking out the we had direct TV I don't know if that's like everywhere if it's like an Atlanta thing I have no idea but. We have direct TV and we started getting rid of our boxes and took the satellite out and everything so like it's official we don't have it anymore and it kind of feels really good. So what does that mean in terms of like your favorite shows like any shows that you watch on. Cable you just won't watch them or you'll watch them online or. Well so we have YouTube TV right now the only problem with that is I have always been like an avid lifetime watcher and I just always have like even as a teenager like I would watch lifetime movies and. Love them and YouTube TV doesn't have lifetime I don't believe so we'll say that we might have to switch over to like Hulu TV or something because they have access to lifetime but I think it's just like finding. The thing it's just like any cable plan right like some cable plans you get you know you might pay $200 and you get access to X Y and Z channels like. I think it kind of works the same with streaming you just have to find like what channels you're tuning into.

Most and then just kind of like go with that streaming service and I think it's like $75 a month for YouTube TV and really it's super simple but I like the fact that like. I don't know maybe having cable for me it's just like I know how to work it so well that it's just so easy to just like. Turn it on but now I feel like I have to like learn YouTube TV and I'm not big into like learning new things so I doubt I'll be watching too much TV which is a solve all in itself. But also I don't know I just think that I'll be able to like maybe monitor more on what Jackson's watching and what he's doing right right yeah. So that makes me feel a little bit better and then I know that we talked about I don't know how ever long ago but I know at some point we talked about it that after I had Jackson like I literally felt like the world was falling and. Come to think of it it probably was like some form of postpartum just like not baby blues because I wasn't sad but it just felt like the world was falling I was so afraid for something to happen to him I would see all these crazy articles coming up on Facebook so I canceled having Facebook for a while. And then like wouldn't watch the news because every time I would watch it I would go into like this state of oh my gosh like something's gonna happen to us and I've just felt like a true nudge to just get away from like. The media you know what I mean like.

There's so much negativity spewed. And it's just like always something to worry about and it's not that I want to be naive to the world like that's not what it is right but I feel like. To really like research and look into like reputable sources instead of just having access to just like nonsense stuff that may or may not be true or there's a specific narrative behind something. It just feels like I felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders when I made the decision like not to turn the news on. Well I had saw on your post it said it I guess someone had asked you like what are the what are the main things that you're trying to instill into Jackson and one of them was. The news or whatever and and I think to your point like it's just it's it's overwhelming sometimes and like even us having a podcast and talking about all the things is. It can be confusing because we don't always get we don't always read accurate information or maybe we read information that's conflicting like what I read is different from what you read and it's the same subject you know so. It's definitely wise that I mean and that's coming from someone who has a podcast like we have a podcast and you know kind of just letting our kids know that not every single thing that is on the media in the news in the newspaper on podcast on TV shows is completely true and accurate information.

And I just think I don't know maybe that's why like more people have anxiety these days than reported ever before because you just have so it's like overstimulation right it's like it's constantly something like if you're not hearing it on the news in your house then you turn on. Your car radio and then you're hearing it on the radio so now we don't even listen to like I only have certain stations on like Spotify or Pandora. That we tune into just for music because that way we're not hearing whatever is being reported and like I said I don't want to be naive to things like that's not that's not the point and I don't want to be. Uneducated about a subject about something going on in our country or you know whatever however I just don't feel like there is a ton of value and just listening to the noise. Right right. No I hear you I think that I think that's that's smart and I don't blame you for anything you said so I think we're all gonna just I guess parent and let our kids know you know as we go it's all learning curve that's for sure. I know oh and I wanted to bring up the point that you have a ton of doctors appointments this week and I have a ton of doctors appointments this week and I just wonder like how many people's doctors appointments like always fall at the beginning of the year or is it like just also us. I don't know I don't even know how this happened like I really wasn't planning on any of this but oh speaking of doctors appointments.

So Lux gets into the dermatologist it was supposed to be this morning but it got rescheduled for Wednesday because Lincoln has to go for something else so. I'll keep you guys posted I remember last week we vaguely touched on like if they were going to have the same treatment for him that they had for. For Jackson and I don't know if I said it on the podcast or if I just said it to you in a text but I do worry about because he had a skin issue like when we when he was a baby baby like. Yeah I remember you remember it was in Atlanta and the steroids on his skin kind of changed the pigment of his like took out the color of his skin and then he had like white blotches and then eventually you know the pigment came back or whatever but I do worry about that. But then after we podcasted last week I actually did did I tell you guys that I talked to the doctor about my period problem. No you didn't the last we talked you I was saying I was going to remind you every single week until you called the doctor made an appointment so that's where we left it. OK so that's OK so I must have just told like just you. So I'm telling everyone who listens to the podcast because I was inundated with messages about checking my uterus out and I am so thankful that everyone is so concerned about my health. So this Thursday I go and have the spot removed under my boob for the pre cancerous whatever that came back blah blah blah.

Well this Wednesday also Wednesday I'm going to get an ultrasound and blood work done because I had a an appointment with my GYN and he said he asked me. He was like are you are you on the birth control that I prescribed you so I was curious about the new ring like right after creed and I was like I want to try the new ring. My friends wore by it got it never used it. And then I mean it just like I did want to use it but then I was like he asked me the other day and I was like to be perfectly honest with you. I'm just not having sex. So to me it was like not important to use. Well yeah it was just like why do I have to put hormones in my body or anything in my body if I'm not even having sex right. So he was like well I want you to use it for the sole purpose of like to slow your periods down it'll help your bleeding a little bit. He said but I also want to order the ultrasound and the blood work he asked me have I ever had an ultrasound when I'm not pregnant. And I said no. So that is happening on Wednesday so the blood work I don't I didn't ask specifically what the blood work will. Will check for right. I forgot to answer that. Ask that question but I will do that on Wednesday when I go in.

But I am happy to tell you all that I will finally have answers hopefully this week if not next week. And I do feel relieved now like I do like he didn't seem overly concerned because I have had four kids and sometimes I guess after more children like your periods can get heavier. So he didn't seem overly concerned but I was thankful that I didn't have to like beg him to do other things. You know what I mean like it felt good to me that he was like OK let's try to get your bleeding under control but let's also order some tests. So like that made me feel good that he was I guess rather than like proactive like he was yeah right right. Well so that's that a ton of moms were messaging in and it's just like so crazy obviously not a physician so we're not diagnosing anything. But so many moms were saying that after they had their child that there was still placental left and that it caused them to bleed so heavy the way that you're describing. So I'll be interested to see when he does the ultrasound and you know gets a good look to see what exactly is going on because it could be something like such an easy fix.

That's very terrifying that any like what happens if a little bit of placenta is left wouldn't there be like an infection or something. So somebody said that they had to have a DNC. Oh wow OK because of it. So that can leave scar tissue and stuff which could could you know be issues in the future. I know I will be so interested to see but I'm so glad that you made the appointment. You made the effort. I'm such an advocate for preventative care. In any regard like you know making sure you're going to your dentist appointment every six months or you know whatever your plan is making sure you go to the GYN making sure that you know you have a physical every year. Stuff like that's so important to me and I know that for a lot of people they feel like oh well it's just a hassle and it's just like another appointment have to make and something else to go to. And like will has that mindset up until last year.

But I actually went with him the first time he had been to a like actual annual physical since he played baseball in college was like his senior year. So it had been forever and maybe it's just like a man's mindset that they just like don't think that they have to go to the doctor. But I actually went with him to his physical and then now he's like so proactive and I actually did that with the dentist too because he was horrible about going to the dentist. And now he's so much better but I don't know sometimes you just have to have people advocating for you so I'm glad this little community could force you. Yes thank you all for for religiously reminding me to be proactive about my health. Thank you all so much. Can on a lighter note can I tell you that I came downstairs at like 1250 knowing that we were podcasting at one o'clock. Will sitting on the couch with his laptop with the TV blaring and I'm like OK I'm glad that you're so comfortable in your working environment. However the vacuum cleaner is going upstairs. Sandra Sandra is breaking like five things every five minutes.

Jackson's bouncing off the walls and I need a quiet place to be able to podcast. Just give me an hour. Like that's all I'm asking like for one hour. And he's like well this is kind of late notice and I literally wanted to like pull his head off. He obviously was kidding and he obviously moved to my office. Who was like are you kidding me. Like you are laying in sweatpants on the couch watching God knows like probably watching Yellowstone. Is that the name of the show Yellowstone. What is Yellowstone. It's I think it's a I don't know if it's I think it might be Hulu maybe you guys can correct me if I'm wrong but it's like some very popular like series. He's been watching over the past couple of days and he's like super obsessed. So that's probably what he was doing while he was pretending to like type on his laptop. But then also I smelled like this distinct like lavender smell and I was like that interesting because normally it either smells like ass or it smells like midnight sky down here. So I come into his office. Lo and behold he has a lavender candle burning in this office. So I'm thinking oh well that must be from somewhere else. No it's dollar store. I don't know how many people have sent me a message showing dollar store like blow up stories of these candles but I'm kind of what what stories.

Yeah like how they did how your candle did it's like dollar store candles though actually got had a recall like because there was so many fires they call so many fires so like these dollar store candles had a recall. So I guess he thought that he was tricking me that if I didn't smell midnight sky and I smelled lavender that I would not think that it was dollar store candle. But I've definitely I turned the label. Oh and he's got the label like facing the opposite direction. So when you walk in it's just like a clear clear glass. So I'm like OK obviously this is him like trying to sneakily like hide this from me so I don't know that it's dollar store candle because when I see the label like I'm going to know. But then it made me think of all the people sending tiktok videos of their bath and body works candles blowing up like yours did. I mean they definitely got to do something about that because I mean I just never experienced candles blowing up until then. And then there was like this one on there was this one on tiktok and it's not even funny I don't even know why I'm laughing but I'm just like what the hell. It blew up in someone's bathroom and the wax was like splattered all over the wall because like yes that's what happened to me this the splatter of the wax was even on my ceiling.

What like in a splatter pattern like like literally a forensics came in. Like what the fuck you know you know how like in CSI they get like the the the light. Yes. Where the splatter is like that's how it and I'm like what is going on here. There's something like and it sucks because I love candles so much. I just love all things that smell good like candles and see all of that but me too. I bath and body works now. I like I love them still but I have been hesitant to get them. I mean people have given them to me as gifts gifts. But I'll be honest if anybody gives me a candle for a gift I'm probably going to burn it like whether it's got a recall or like whatever. Well don't let our homeowners insurance listen to this podcast. Oh my God I know. Speaking of I told you about having to have the roof replaced on my house because there was so much freaking wind damage that came through with the hurricane like the people that the people that live next door to me.

They have like one of those like covered porches which we do too but there's like sits up there's just like a raised porch you know it's like it's got like stilts or whatever because it goes off the top of their house like not off. The back of their house it's like on the back but it's like raised up like it's really tall and their porch little covering thing that has shingles on it kind of is in line with the height of their house. And so their whole like the the wind damage that it did to their little porch thing bless its heart like it had no shingles like it was gone like complete. I don't know what came through here but completely gone. The person came out for us to like pick our shingles and stuff for it to go on of course as you know luck would have it was supposed to go on last week and then it rained so then they couldn't come out and do it so they're supposed to do it Thursday this week. And I'm just like as you get older I just feel like nothing goes as smooth as what it seems like when you were younger right like. At all. It's just like always something happening and I'm just like OK so now the roof gets replaced and we're having the house painted and.

Just trying to like get everything in order like I've been today I have been like a mad woman going through my closet and just like organizing everything like throwing away like old blankets that I don't want like. You know just like the stuff that like you have to do that nobody wants to do and we just like all ignore it as long as it's in a place and it's we're not passing it every day we just like don't look at it. So that's what I've been doing all day. In preparation of obviously we've talked about building and moving I don't want to like have to go through all of this stuff and like do all of this and the moving process right like I want it to be rather simple so. And like cohesive. Yes but let me tell you what I threw away today my whole point telling you this you're going to be like what the hell I throw away nursing bras and nursing pads and I have not nursed in eight years like what is going on. You held on to him just in case. No but it wasn't like I was planning on having another baby like right after like there was I don't know what I was doing like was honestly the way my mind works I was thinking wow that touched my nipple whenever I was pregnant with Jackson so I should keep it.

Oh my God what is wrong with you. I don't know but then I was like OK I need to like really go through this bag well I look at the outside of the bag that this stuff was in it literally I shit you not. It was the hospital bag from where I delivered him and it had like that vagina squirter thing like in it. What is it called a parry parry bottle. Yeah I had a parry bottle in there had nursing pads and nursing brap pregnant shirts. I'm like what. Why was this in here and like this made a trip from my old house to this house. I was not nursing when I moved into this house like. Then ready to have all of those things. I don't know were you saving them or what was going on.

It's weird because I feel like the more that I am preparing myself to have another baby. I feel like the need that I need to like clean everything out and like makes not that I need to like are you already pregnant and you're not telling anyone. This is how rumors get started just like I was joining Teen Mom to cast last week. I mean it does definitely feel like nesting which is so weird. But I just don't understand like why I'm doing this like I it's not like I need to like go through stuff to make room to like bring something else home. You know what I mean. It's like right. It's the weirdest state to be in. And now I'm like oh wow when I get finished podcasting I'm going to go upstairs in my kitchen and I'm going to go through this battery drawer and throw away all the freaking batteries because. The people in my house like to put partially dead batteries in there including myself and then when we go to get a new battery wonder why shit doesn't work.

And it's like it doesn't charger and then put the batteries in the charger. So I sent you the thing yesterday off of Amazon that I'm just going to fix this problem all together and I'm just going to order chargeable batteries and then we won't be having this problem. I know a lot of people probably don't have this problem but it's a big problem in my house. So that's what I'm going to do whenever we get finished podcasting and then hopefully at some point during this 24 hours I'm going to go into my storage and start pulling out like blankets and stuff that I had for Jackson that he used all the time. I was thinking about getting those like quilted maybe and turn those into a blanket but like only the ones that I use like very regularly and then you mean shirts are you talking about shirts. No like you know like my muslin blankets and stuff that like I used when what like the muslin blankets like the thin ones that are made out of like muslin and they have like the patterns on them. Yeah I have to send you receiving blankets. Yeah like they they're receiving blankets but they're like they're called muslin blankets. I use those with Jackson like until he like outgrew them basically so those are things that like when I think of him as a baby like I remember those blankets so I think I'm going to just like make like a throw quilt or like something out of them.

There's they have companies like on Instagram and stuff. This girl that I just sent all of Isaac Lincoln and my shirts to and she. Oh you do like not. Yeah she she does like a really good like quality quilting with them and not knocking anybody else's that has this type of business but this one like I was looking for like the perfect person to do these shirts the shirt blankets and so I'm going to send you her contact. I would love that actual quilting. Yeah and it's just like really really good quality because I also have like baseball jerseys and like those types of things that I've been saving because I haven't found a company like. They have them all over Instagram but I just haven't found one that I'm like OK that's the one that I want to send my shirt you know Jackson shirts to or like these baby blankets to to like make something out of. But then I'm kind of like at a point where I'm OK like eight years later I'm OK to get rid of like onesies you know that are zero to three months old like it's OK. So I'm going to work on that this week and hopefully be in a better place like the doctor's appointments will be over after this week.

My house will be clean and I will be like in business scale like you won't be able to touch me. Oh I you know what I do not doubt any of what you're saying I think I know that you're going to get it all done. And then wait I have to tell you this because it's seriously causing concern for me. So many people are interested in our home builds I'm like oh I know I'm actually so excited about all of that and like being able to post more about it. Me too I'm so excited about it but then I have another friend who was on Big Brother and she and her husband are looking to build a house in Texas. And I've been kind of like following her little story over the past like week and a half and as they've gotten closer to doing a contract on the land. She said that lumber prices are up so much that it's going to cost 32000 more dollars and just the cost of lumber alone to build. So that is very true.

My book my builder did let me know that. And also they're taking things that would take two to three weeks to come in are now taking up to seven weeks to come in. So and then that on top of like you have to get like permits and stuff as you know you built before permits and stuff to start the construction and all that because everyone is building and doing home renovations and getting permits for everything. The city is also backed up. So as of now my builder let me know that it's taking around two and a half months to get the permits to allow the build to go forward. And then on top of that the lumber and stuff is the prices skyrocketed and it takes up to seven weeks just to get the lumber in. Yeah. So see your process is a little different because I think you just like bought your land and it's not like you were explaining.

It's not a development. Mine's going to be a couple home or tie in. Yeah. So like my builder will actually own the land and then I can either purchase the acreage from the builder and then I still have to use them to build which the person that's building for me is doing this development so that we can work together basically. So we've been on this search together for over close to two years and that's what we were running into as well as like the permits through the county and like the city and there's so many things and then because of COVID the cost like is just so much more expensive. So it's so crazy I'm like so excited to do it but also like a little bit nervous just knowing it's going to cost more than what we expected and also not as it only going to cost more than what we expected to do it but it's going to take a longer amount of time to get it complete. And so that's also frustrating but as I was saying the roof is going to be done on the house that we're in now at the end of this week. And then we have our painters coming to paint the outside because we're just trying to like prepare everything that we can have control over to get done that we know would have to be done before we moved anyway.

So we at least feel like we're making progress like and like we're going forward instead of just feeling like I don't know if you felt like this with your build but it's just like you just feel like you're sitting there like waiting like nothing seems to be happening. No I'm just saying like with this process it's like you just like. Oh well everything to go forward. Yes like it's the most they actually pushed our settlement back because yeah there was like I guess like the sewer tap if there's not a sewer hookup and then you'd have to find the nearest I don't really even know so now I'm just like sitting around like Twiddling my fingers like when is this going to go through how much like I don't know it's just a it's a long process and I feel like it feels like we have a lot of time because we're still in the middle of a pandemic and just like not. Like we can't really go anywhere still like there's restrictions on everything and so I'm like excited but then the process is taking longer than I guess it normally would so it's like kind of like the things that everyone's going through is like during the pandemic like things are just not what they normally would be so it's hard to I don't know like I want to be excited about it but it's also taking a long time you know. And you know what makes me so sad speaking of pandemic I have a friend that told me yesterday that like her daughter's little school is she's only two years old so she's in like a little program or what it probably like similar to how lux is

but the school is basically closed until they let them know that it's open. So I guess if you say indefinitely or whatever but I wonder how many people are in the same situation and if all states and places are doing it the same way but like even if they're closed like the whole school is closed and you can't go they're still having to pay. Yes that's how Lux is is too. And they say it's like holding their spot but like. But if it's not open then nobody else can go. Yeah so I'm just like and obviously like these businesses also have to be able to stay afloat. I get that and I'm sympathetic to that but I'm just like thinking about the parents that have multiple children in daycare that are having to find other. You know means to have their children taken care of so that they can work and then they're still having to pay the daycare and then probably someone else.

You know what I'm saying. I mean yeah that's how I have to pay for child care when are when our schools closed and even like throughout the break when I had to come into the office and stuff even though he goes to a preschool. Yeah your old preschool I still have to pay for child care if it's not open. Oh my God because I have to. They won't offer like refunds at all. So or like any type of and I and I get it. I do get it. I understand.

It's sad for everybody right like the businesses the families that like there's no right there's no winner. Yeah there's no way to yeah because we obviously don't want these places to close either so it's like I don't know how. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know I'm sitting here like cracking up. Can I tell you that. Okay so now that I have like the home security I think it's so funny because when people come to my door and they're like carrying on conversations on their phone and it's like recording on my thing. Oh and they have no idea that you're like laughing at whatever they're saying or like they're like picking their nose and they have you have no idea that you know.

Yeah or like people slinging boxes at my door thinking that I don't know and it's like if something's broken like obviously I know it's because you slung the box or whatever you know it's just so funny. But today it was so funny. We weren't expecting anybody to ring the doorbell like our neighborhood has like the no soliciting thing or whatever so normally unless I'm expecting someone to ring the doorbell or it's like FedEx or UPS or Amazon then nobody really comes to the house. But there was like this man sitting out there and I could hear his conversation and I was like what the hell is he doing out there and it's just like this little like brown bag that he's like putting it's not a box it's just like a little folded brown bag and I'm like what the hell is that. So I'm thinking oh God I hope this isn't like some idiot that's like trying to throw dog shit and light it on fire on my porch like. And he's just carrying on a business conversation with this person like trying to scam them into do this business with him. And I'm listening to the whole thing like I can't get enough and then I go to the door after he's gotten like away. I see his car leave and I'm like OK I'll go to the door now because mind you I'm still in my robe and I still look like a troll.

I open it up. I love that you call yourself a troll. And then I yell downstairs and I'm like will did you order Chinese like it's not something that he would typically order or just like Uber eats for lunch which is not something that he really does and wills like nope not me. So Jackson's like standing there and he's been telling me he's hungry for like the past 30 minutes and I've been walking around with like Clorox wiping shit off and I'm like OK you're just going to have to wait for a minute. So I open up the thing and Jackson goes oh wow I'll definitely eat that. That's not mine but I'll definitely eat it. It's orange chicken. So I'm just like OK because of coronavirus like they're not going to come back and pick it up even though it wasn't for us but like thank you to whoever ordered this for providing my child lunch today because he definitely ate it.

And because he's Jackson so in to Ryan's World and like this combo Panda or whatever that he he tried. What's that Chinese place the food chain one Panda Express. He tried it for the first time the other day because he wanted to try Chinese because he's so into pandas and all this Ryan's World stuff. So when he saw that it was like orange chicken he was like the person that ordered this must have known that I really love orange chicken. And I'm like that's exactly what happened. Yes this happened five minutes before we started recording. So it was like great you have lunch. You're all settled and I'm going downstairs and Jackson's like oh is there sushi in there too.

I'll eat that too. And I'm like absolutely absolutely please make yourself please make yourself at home with this meal that does not belong to us. Well what the hell were you supposed to do with it. I don't know. Well I don't know and then Jackson was like well the receipts ripped so we can't see who it really belongs to and they probably don't want it because of coronavirus because we touched it and I'm like yeah you're you're probably right so it's fine you can just eat it for lunch. No big deal like we're not really going to worry about it. Oh wait did you ever look at the poll to see if people get their dogs teeth brushed because most people I think said that the majority of people like don't professionally do it but a lot of people like do it just at home. Yeah I mean I used to work at as you all know I used to work at PetSmart grooming.

Nobody knew that. They did know that I talk about it all the time. Kale you've never told me that. Are you for real. You've never told me that you worked at PetSmart grooming. Yeah are you nuts. I would. Yeah evidently I am.

I had a friend that I quit. I think I quit. Where was I working. I quit somewhere and I needed a job. No I got hired at Red Robin Forever 21 and PetSmart grooming in the same week and I quit Forever 21 because that was a fucking shit show. I would never work for Forever 21 ever again. That was a nightmare. And I went to Red Robin and then my friend worked at PetSmart grooming and she's like I'm gonna get you a job.

You know you can wash dogs or whatever. So that was where we like any package that we sold like for grooming toothbrush like a teeth cleaning came with it. So like I had to brush dogs teeth but most people don't get them like cleaned by the vet unless it's like necessary. So I have realized it obviously I'm a psychopath. Yeah basically Della's plan has a dental cleaning on it every year. So her plan what is what kind of plan is she on. So she has like it's basically like pet insurance but like she has a monthly plan at the vet. So it comes like you pay for it by the month and then it covers like all her preventative again preventative care.

So like all of her like her exam for the year her shots twice a year whatever she gets like the dewormer and whatever rabies. And then an annual teeth cleaning. But her vet told me that dogs that like are small like her typically just like have very bad teeth like it. It's just you know like there's genetic things that play into just like humans like there's genetic things that play into it. Like you could be the most avid teeth brush her and floss her and like have really bad teeth like it's. Yeah yeah I knew that. And so Della just doesn't have great teeth but literally when she gets her teeth cleaned they look brand spanking new. It's like I don't know what they're doing in there like if they're using drills like I have no idea but they look brand spanking new and then she like comes home smiling.

So I don't know if it's like her lips are stuck like that because her mouth has been open for so long or like if she's like proud of them. I don't know but that picture you sent was the cutest fucking thing that I've ever seen. So I had to post it on the story because it was just so cute and funny. It looked like she was smiling like you know when you go to the dentist and you don't want to eat anything for like 12 days because you're like I just got my teeth cleaned and they're like deep cleaned so I'm smiling forever. That's how she looked in that picture. She was so proud and Will like brushes her teeth and pretty much like Will's child is Della and Jackson's child is mine so. Jackson's parent. Yeah I am Jackson's parent.

Will is Della's parent. But he like brushes her teeth and stuff and she had like this one like bad one on the back but I think the dentist actually ended up pulling it because. They just said that the decay was like worse for her health than the benefit of leaving the tooth there. And so she came home and when will like opened up her mouth I think he like went to look to see like if the tooth looked better and it was gone. Oh my God. And I'm like what the hell but wait you have to tell me before we go like what you did at PetSmart Screaming like I had no idea about this. And there is a special place talked about this before. I definitely taught my two favorite jobs as much as I hated going to work like during that time like looking back my two favorite jobs were PetSmart grooming and working at the dentist office which actually didn't hate going to the dentist office.

When I worked there I didn't hate it I loved it but then I moved to Delaware so I had to quit but. I bathed dogs I did like the groom like the cleaning and stuff before like I didn't cut the dog's hair because I wasn't like certified or licensed for that but like I gave them bath I did their nails I clean their ears I squeeze their fucking anal glands. And I brush their teeth. Oh my gosh so they always ask like do you want their anal glands expressed and I'm like absolutely like please do it. But I think a lot of people like don't know about it or like don't understand the benefit of it you know what I mean like I feel like it's something that. I've been to PetSmart groomers so many times so our delegates groomed and I've seen enough people be asked the question like do they want their anal their dogs anal glands. They call it expressed is that what it's called. Or yes yeah and I'm just so like scarred for life because I can't tell you how many times.

I went home from work smelling like anal glands. Oh sick. Oh my gosh. Disgusting. I'm telling you there is a special place in heaven for angels like dog groomers and people who express anal glands and like that kind of stuff like there is there is a special place in heaven for those folks because. Well it was definitely a thing more for for smaller dogs to have. Yes yes but like does a lot come out. It depends some of them are worse than others.

Oh gross like the rule of thumb was like always do that first and then bathe them because you don't want to like you're like oh shit I forgot to do the anal glands and they already had a bath and now their ass smells like anal glands again. Oh gross probably the ones that like groomed regularly probably like aren't as bad every time. I mean you can do them at home but like most people don't want to. I hope we'll never listen to this and never get that idea. I mean I have a small dog and I would never do them at home but some people will do them at home like if they give the dog a bath or whatever. We'll better never listen to this. We have like two minutes. I just want to quickly touch on Kim and Kanye.

Oh my God I didn't know if you were going to bring this up or not. Okay first I was like no way then I started falling into the conspiracy of tick tock. Okay I'm you guys know I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I will say I am a conspiracy theory theorist on this one. Only because if you scroll back to and my friend pointed this out to me I did not go looking for this. I did not even put two and two together because I'm not that smart. My friend in our group text was like look at their Kim and Kanye's past Halloween costumes for several years. It's like last year Kanye wasn't like this past year like three months ago or whatever Kanye wasn't a part of the Halloween thing right. It was her like hairstylist or something and then the years prior to that the costume for the dad is supposedly Kanye but you can't see his face.

How come in all the other costumes you can see their face but Kanye is we don't know if it's actually Kanye it could have been anybody. Well and here's the other thing about it too because. The show is ending right before this because she didn't want to film about it. Yeah I just I don't know. There's a lot of things that would like if it was true that would be like OK that's why all of this makes sense now. Like you said the show ending I think they filmed the last day yesterday. Last day ever of keeping up with Kardashian which is crazy. And then something is just not right about it.

But I don't know if it's this like I feel like there's some there's obviously something I just don't know if it's this. Jeffree Star came out with like I don't know if it was on Snapchat or if it was on Instagram or like. He had a whole YouTube video about like he never hung out with Kanye or whatever. I don't know if I don't know Jeffree Star I think he I would never put anything past him something tells me that he. Definitely fueled those rumors like he definitely fueled them and then pulled the whole YouTube video Instagram post saying that you know basically denying but he let him go on for long enough. I mean I wouldn't put anything past him he definitely got some publicity out of publicity out of that so I wouldn't put anything past him. So you feel like this could have potentially also been a cloud move like. Oh yeah for sure I mean he he said oh I wouldn't be surprised if Kris Jenner you know started these rumors know you started them.

I highly doubt that whatever is going on between Kanye and Kim Kris would not go ahead and be be like oh and Kanye potentially is fucking with Jeffree Star like no. Well I think Will believes it too. So you will again always thinking the same thing. Wait that Kanye and Kim are getting divorced. No I mean we all I think that that is just everybody I think believes that he thinks that Jeffree Star. Yeah was doing OK OK OK yeah he thinks that there's some validity to the story. We don't know to what extent but there's some validity to the story. I however but it's definitely Kris wasn't putting it out there.

Jeffrey was putting it out there or whoever I guess some girl from what I saw and what I was seeing on in on social media was like some girl came forward saying that she started a lot of the rumors. But what is her relationship with Jeffrey Star. Did Jeffrey Star tell her to do it. Right I don't know that anyone knows those answers but if any of you like major sleuthers out there like no any answers to this please send them to our DMS because I also need answers. But I am going to go with the fact that if obviously this has been reported I think it's completely false. And the issues are something else. I mean obviously we've seen I don't think that I don't think that Jeffrey starring Kanye West got together. I'm not saying that you just think that this was a complete cloud chase.

Rumors that were yes that were the rumors that were going around like Jeffrey star got cloud out of it. So I feel like but like I don't know if Kanye I mean but that also is such a heavy heavy thing to like start if there's absolutely no validity to it. It's such a heavy thing and I think that it's so tacky. Yeah. To do something like that you know it's like it's so tacky. People also have to understand that this is these are like real life people and regardless of how famous or whatever they have family and children involved in this. So to make claims like that and there to be no validity behind it. It's just very tacky to me.

Yeah I agree with that for sure. Well on that note I am going to blow out this lavender can candle that he has burning down here and I'm going to go upstairs and find out what's breaking and keeps hitting my floor.
