Would normally not be in a good mood because Luxus had diarrhea for two days and just Didn't go to school and so that it was like rough But then I didn't sleep and he was like projectile vomiting and then but I'm having a good day So it's fine. Um, I don't know of any mom that wakes up and it's like I'm making the best of my kids shitting all over themselves Like I don't he's in very good spirits for having diarrhea the way that he does like honestly, he's just living his best life and It's great to be honest not to blast Jackson I don't know that he's ever had diarrhea before Wow, that's actually amazing What kind of vitamins do you give him like if is this a regular thing? No Lux actually he never gets sick

But we have a plethora of vitamins. Um, I can send you what we use But I don't know that that has anything to do with the fact that my kid just doesn't have explosive shits Well, we just started care of this is not an ad We had taken a break for a little while while I was transitioning for the move and like editing all my subscriptions and stuff like that So again, this is not an ad, but we we just started taking care of again So I'm actually very excited and but Lux he really doesn't get sick He's just like not a sick kid, but I think there is like a little bit of a stomach bug going around poor thing he did sleep in his own bed last night the night before that he slept in my bed and

Sat straight up and was just projectile about it vomiting. I love that for you Yeah, I've got two things to actually tell you one thing is a follow-up from last week's queef and the other thing that I have to tell you is Something completely unrelated to that. So I'm gonna go with a queef thing. I Took a last-minute beach trip With a girlfriend. She was like, hey, I want to go to the beach and I was like, uh, yeah Yeah, like let me just cancel all my whole life You know, we'll do that that sounds that sounds great. Please come and pick me up right at this moment

And that's literally like what happened and so I just like Pick me up right at this moment. I swung all of my stuff in the bag So we leave on Thursday and I think that's the day that the queef episode aired and so Friday I just like took kind of like a hiatus on Thursday from social media Friday I wake up and I'm posting stories about our episode and Realize that there was like someone that I didn't want to like to see that and I didn't think to like block them from seeing my stories And so oh my god time out. Let me stop you there. That's such a good idea because I do think about that like There are certain people that I'm like a little embarrassed that they hear some of our conversations

So like I never thought to like block them from my story Well, I never have but now after this experience that I had That should probably happen in the future, but I'll probably forget so it's just like moot Yeah, so I get this text and it's like no Lindsay Men actually do know a difference between a queef and a fart. I don't believe them I don't because sometimes I if someone if a woman is next to me and queefs are farted I honestly I honest to God don't think I would be able to tell kill. What I I have a little bit of a drama situation at my new house and I am highly irritated by it

So we'll tell I'll tell this story and then we can do our teen mom recap. Yeah, okay We have this company that does like gas and propane or whatever and When the house got built they had to schedule a gas check to make sure everything was fine So they ended up canceling last week and then rescheduling for yesterday, which was fine I didn't really think it was a big deal now. I've been moved in for about I would say like two weeks and Been cooking on my stove and in my oven and I just kept saying like something is not right Like something feels very wrong to the point that on what's today Wednesday. So on Monday night Oh, no, I was cooking for Lux and I was like I have to open my doors

Like something is very wrong. So I'm opening I left all my doors open and I'm like let me like let this like clear out or whatever So I called somebody for help and I was like, I need you to come look at this Like I don't know what's going on and he basically was first of all the zip ties were still Around the oven racks. Oh my gosh, which I don't know how I didn't notice So that was problem number one and then problem number two was just like it the stove The oven was getting heated up, but it wasn't cooking the food and then the stove like the flames or whatever we're like Literally burning the pan. So like the pots in the pan So like all of my stuff is ruined and it was leaving like black so on the actual

Like the burners. I'll have to take a picture. Oh my god. So I was like, this is not normal this should not be doing this and I just was like what the fuck so they come out and They said that actually I'll read the text message because I don't want to make a liar out of myself or like Misinformed people He said that we need a natural gas to propane gas conversion kit He said the builder should do it and do not use the stove or oven until it switched over He said it's very dangerous to use until it's converted Which makes sense because when I was putting the pot on the burner

The flames were coming up and around the pot. Oh And it was so weird Cooking when it was like up and around yeah, I've never had a gas stove before so this was I've always had electric So this isn't this is new to me and nobody ever told me so I know in typical builds like you get a budget for Your appliances and the builder typically orders But based on how long it was taking for the cat I wanted the cafe appliances was taking forever So I was like I'll order it and it was way out of the budget that he put in my contract but never once did anybody not the salespeople of

GE appliances not my builder not my grab my Interior designer nobody ever told me that I needed any type of conversion kit. Otherwise, I would have ordered it It's like $30 with my appliances furthermore I'm irritated because once they were installed Nobody told me that I needed a conversion kit and say hey Kale We actually can't hook these up because you need a converter kit So I'm highly annoyed because the fact that guy is telling me it's dangerous is Fucking terrifying and the person that I called to come check out my oven in my stove. I literally the whole time

He was looking at it. I was like, oh my god His face is gonna like it's this is gonna blow up and his face is gonna melt off and I'm scared And I don't like this like it was making me so like having anxiety And I just feel frustrated because I feel like nobody was taking accountability. I don't know what I'm supposed to order Nobody said hey, make sure you get a conversion kit. I've never built a house I don't have a dad brother cousin boyfriend whatever that has helped me through this process And I feel I do feel very pissed off even though nothing did happen Just knowing that this kitchen could have blown up in any of our faces. It's terrifying

I had to open my fucking doors to let it air out until someone came to check it out It makes me feel like that's why Lux has diarrhea. Oh Like what if he was exposed to like gas? Okay, now I'm gonna say I don't think gas gives you diarrhea I don't know like what if he was? Thankfully that door that I'm described like my back door is connected to my kitchen and I think that's why everything was fine But if there was in fact a gas leak or it was something wrong I I mean I like candles a lot like could you imagine if it just like fucking no I think about your bath and body works candle all the time and it like making a fire in your house

And it literally terrifies me. So then the guy was like also your like air system whether it's like heat or cooling or whatever I'm not sure is Not set to auto So it was just like the fan was running for as long as I've been living there So who knows how high my hill my bill is gonna be how do you know how to set those things? Like people are gonna listen to this and be like, okay, these two girls don't deserve To be existing humans. I don't I don't even know the the fucked up part is that I feel like Because I love my builder

I think he's a great guy and I was recommended to him by a mutual friend However, that being said needed a final walkthrough to show me where do I change the air filter? My system should be on auto. Nobody told me about the conversion kit Nobody even mentioned it to me I had never heard of this before like I have been cooking in my house and he's saying it wasn't a big deal But guys telling me it is a big deal like I do feel very frustrated when I moved in here. This sounds so stupid But I had literally never lived Really without a dad or will so I was like wait, what's air filters like where do you buy light bulbs?

Like the simple life like it literally felt like simple life. Yes. Yeah, I felt I felt like Paris and Nicole Showed up at my house and like stuck like struck me with a stupid. Yes I was like, oh my god, and I was literally calling people being like hey What are you supposed to set your temp to like what is it supposed to say on there? I don't know There's fan. There's on there's off like there's auto like we don't know We don't know like what's auto like it just I that's why I'm saying like am I even old enough to have a house and like have all These responsibilities because clearly I don't know what the fuck I'm doing and then someone's like well You should have asked these questions

How the fuck am I supposed to know to ask these questions if I don't know what the hell I'm doing no one no one knows But you know before you started this story I'm a little disappointed because I thought it was gonna be like some drama with hot neighbor and I was like yes, like No, there's no there is no drama with hot neighbor. He I'm actually like thankful He's my neighbor because we have like mutual friends and things like that And so it's just like I feel good about it and he's like first line of defense and he was in the military so Because I'm kind of like in backed up to the woods and so I just feel like some sense of comfort knowing that he's there

Finale recap and when I tell you I'm so glad it's the finale I'm so glad it's the finale and you know what I did have a revelation this morning I don't know if revelation is the right word. I did have a thought this morning that I was talking to Kristen and I was like, you know what I feel like I feel a little bit bad because now we're on the finale and I haven't really had a whole lot of good stuff to say about it and I'm wondering if I have a different perspective of it because I Know most of the girls already and I've worked with most of the girls already and I've kind of been a part of it for so long I'm wondering if I have a different perspective like oh, it's

Not as dramatic as I thought or not as juicy as I thought or whatever because I'm I know them Where like maybe the general public it was really good to them. You know what I mean? Like I thought that that could be the ratings like is my question because I got I've got a couple thoughts one It was renewed for season two Mm-hmm. I thought the ratings weren't that good. Did they grow? I think the thing about the ratings is that whenever someone reports the ratings I believe that is only the cable premiere or the cable episode. I don't think that includes Tivo DVR recording on-demand paramount Netflix. I don't think it counts any of like the streaming

Situations or like the recordings. I think that's just like live cable. Got it. Got it. Okay, so that that would make sense Yeah, I will say I thought it was semi-anticlimactic Throughout the entire season would be the word that I would use for it I felt like there were certain cast that Got way more airtime than others like it wasn't a very even distribution If I was a couple of the girls and I went and I got as little of airtime as they did I would have been pissed off

Because I'm taking time away from my real life to your point about that I definitely thought that the original cast members of Teen Mom og and Teen Mom 2 would have Significantly more like camera time and I think it ended up being the newer cast members got more airtime And just not based on like anyone being better than anybody. It was just like their story lines Took the were on the front line correct and then before we Recap I know that you have nothing to say about it, but okay. I want to back up because when we did the podcast episode with Devoyne I Was a year ago. Yeah, was it it was all but wasn't it like almost exactly a year ago? Mm-hmm

Yeah, um, I feel like the coverage on that was very evenly distributed and that there was like no bashing of anyone we definitely gave mom perspective on that it was a safe place for Him to be able to come and introduce himself as he does not Get a ton of airtime on Teen Mom 2, right then I start seeing things come up on Twitter about how Devoyne came on coffee combos and that Brianna in season 11 was making the decision to go on

another podcast which is irrelevant and This is with one of your exes. I don't really know How that is viewed the same, but it's not the same so the depiction that I see on Teen Mom family reunion seems as if you know, she she wants everybody to be like this collective one and Girlfriends and whatever but some of the things that she says and then the things that she does are Are literally a walking contradiction. So absolutely. Well, and I just to add to that I think that what you and I had Devoyne on our podcast for was a

Business it was professional. It was done It was never done too Like it wasn't malicious It was like a genuine connection and like a business opportunity And I don't think that other people could say the same like the other one was like Oh, let me one-up you but you're not really one-upping and here's the thing Anyone has always been Welcome on coffee combos. So at any time that we had been reached out to and been like hey want to come on and chat

Invitation would have been extended. It's like what has been done is malicious because Devoyne came on coffee combos. So then the retaliation is okay. Not only am I going to date your ex-husband, but then I'm going to go on your most recent exes Show like make it make it make sense. So I just wanted to say that I Thought this the storyline Whatever they were running with with like the sleepover and stuff on the family reunion was like I saw where they were kind of Going with it, but also I felt like it was poorly executed I think I've kept the same. I don't want to call it a judgment same opinion the whole for the whole idea of the show

I think was a good idea, but a poor execution and I also think the finale was anti-climactic and the slumber party was a little weird It's really hard for me to like look at the situation and the episodes and really believe that any of these women have actually changed But again, I wasn't there. So I'm only going off of what is coming across to me And my experience in reality TV and a show similar I If they truly feel bonded to each other and they feel like they got to know each other on a different level like that's exciting and I'm happy for them I Still like thinking about team mom family reunion will as of right now I still don't want to go to season two. Well, if you do go to season two, I guess I will be doing the recaps

and if you do I think it would be fun and exciting just to have the experience to be like, okay Well, now I saw it kind of from the other side of it Mm-hmm. I feel like the therapy could have definitely been executed better better Well, it's also hard because there was so many people and couples and cast members and only one life coach And so I feel like it was it seems very it seemed very like touch-and-go versus like in depth because there were so many cast members and So Caitlyn shows up at the very last minute

because she just had a baby and Cheyenne says every single cast member was invited and that is a lie not every single cast member was invited What about McKinsey McGee? What is her last name McKee McGee McKee? I don't think that she was invited. She claims from what I've heard McKenzie claims that she didn't even know it was happening or that might have been girls might in one of them She didn't even know it was happening but I know for a fact not every cast member was invited because Javi, Joe and Vee were not invited. Yeah, so I mean why is that being said?

I will say maybe in Cheyenne's defense that maybe that's what they told her they told her, right? Yeah, and that's what she's repeating Um, but from very insider source We know that there were some folks that were not invited. So the story that I got from some folks from one folk Was that the reason why Javi, Joe and Vee were not invited was because I declined I I from a creative standpoint don't understand that I still stand and I think I've said it before is like Just because I said no doesn't mean that Joe Javi and Vee would have said no And yeah, I think it still would have made sense for them to go get invited like it doesn't it shouldn't have to be

Do you know what I'm saying? Yeah, like you you cannot say everyone was invited that but you didn't invite them because you didn't Because I didn't go because that means that other cast members were not invited or that just solidifies That you are a reason for other people's paychecks, but I'm gonna continue on Loved Macy's growth on the show, I feel like she definitely Was able to dig a little bit deeper and as a mom I can definitely relate to

giving everything to your child and kind of putting all of your other emotional stuff on the back burner I think a lot of moms can relate to that and I truly can't even imagine What it felt like or has felt like to be Macy Over the years I still hold on to the fact that she got pregnant when she lost her virginity and it's just like something that you can't imagine I Couldn't put myself in that though. She is So I don't know what that feels like and I'm sure that that's probably very heavy her session with coach B

is the only session that really really really hit home for me and Coach B says to her something along the lines of You know taking home what you've learned here is going to change the dynamic at home Because they're right like any little change in yourself does in fact change the dynamic of your family and your home situation any little bit And so that really hit home for me because I also feel that especially in therapy like just in regular everyday life so I resonated with that a lot and I could Understand Macy wanting to you know implement whatever she did learn there, which I feel like could be more beneficial if it wasn't for TV

To take home with her and learn more about herself in order to implement it at home one thing that I would have Like to have seen I think that it's like what's that saying? They tried to like make FETCH happen If it would have just maybe been the girls I think that there would have been more substance But I think when it was like trying to you know have like that added person and then mm-hmm these challenges and then Well the challenges did not make sense at all like Love Corey his energy his TV personality. I don't you know, I don't really know him very well I've met him a couple times, but very TV personality and things like that, but like the actual obstacle did not make sense whatsoever

And same for like the kayaking thing. I think was very poorly executed. I agree with you I think if it was more like they're more therapy based for just the girls It would have been better and then maybe season two could have been adding the partners agreed Any final thoughts on their union final thoughts for me are You know, like I said a little bit earlier, you know If they feel closer and they feel like they got you know a ton out of it Awesome happy for them and the last thought is good luck to anyone who participates in season two
