Hey guys, welcome to Coffee Combos. Another week, another episode. We're on episode 45, Lindsay. Yes, episode 45. I can't believe that we've been doing this for 45 weeks. Awesome. I'm pumped on it actually because I feel like we, like I don't ever get tired of it. Same. I love doing this. But let me tell you, I've had a major case of the Mondays. Oh, same. I can't, let's, let's, you start. You start this week. Okay. So I feel like I was super prepared coming out of the weekend. I sound like an

athlete. Like I'm having some type of like press conference. I was super prepared coming out of practice. Super prepared. And, you know, we did soccer for the first time this weekend and I'll get into that in a few minutes. But, you know, had a lot of homework over the weekend, had everything prepared for school this morning, got Jackson up, breakfast on time, shower on time, getting ready to walk out the door at 8.15 this morning. And I don't know how many of you moms or dads who are listening have the app called Remind. But it is an app on your iPhone. You can probably get it on your Android too. But it's an app that schools use that help teachers be able to basically text you through an app to give

you update school, you know, pictures from the classroom, etc. So it's not like filling up your text feed. And it's super nice. But I got a text this morning saying that there was no water at the school and school was delayed until 10am. Oh, good. So, you know, I plan everything around my school schedule. So when Jackson's at school from 8.45 until 12.30, I try to plan all of my appointments during that time. So at this point, by getting this text, my day is completely shot and it's only 8.15 a.m. It was grandparents day. Time out. Is he in kindergarten? So he's doing K five. So he's going to do like transitional and then go into kindergarten because he's really

young. Okay, because I I feel like I remember when I was in kindergarten, they had half days and I didn't know if he was going to kindergarten half days. No, so well, he it's kind of like kindergarten half days because he goes only until 12 30. But he goes 12 35 days a week. And today was grandparents day. So his grandparents were literally traveling from an hour and 45 minutes away. So the school was saying, Oh, well at nine o'clock, we'll, you know, re update you guys if we're going to have school at all. And I'm like, Okay, well, that doesn't really work for the grandparents. They're traveling

like far to come see their grandchild on grandparents day. Plus it was school pictures. So on my calendar, I had written school pictures were on the 12th. Well, then I got a text yesterday before yesterday. I guess it was Sunday. I got the text that said, Oh, by the way, school pictures are on Monday. So I'm like, Oh, great. So now we have to rush around and get hair cuts because I'd plan to do that on Tuesday. How can they even change picture day like that though? I have no idea. I'm like, Okay, first of all, if you have a child that is in preschool, and they go to school from 845 to 12 30, I don't see how any of those parents possibly

have jobs. No, they don't. You know what? That's funny that you say that because Lincoln school is only until 12 30 also, but I have him in the enrichment program. And when my friend was moving here to Delaware, she went to go toward the school and she asked the owner of the preschool. You know, she because she was like, I don't understand how this is over $500 a month. But what are these parents even doing? She goes, Oh, a lot of them are stay at home parents. And it's just like, I am confused because how are they stay at home parents like, right? And can afford that. But then on top of it, you what do you even get done even? Okay. First

of all, if I were to go to the dentist, sometimes that can take the entire time that Lincoln would be at half day of preschool. So I don't understand how you're even getting anything done in that amount in that amount of time. There's no way you can stay at home. Mom could even get anything accomplished. It literally takes me the entire school year to go to a dentist appointment, a hair appointment and to get my nails done like one time. Yes, agreed. Like basically, and not to mention the fact, okay, we're going to just cover the fact that I was completely wrong about carpool. Kale was right. Carpool means that multiple people ride in the car, whatever the heck it is. I don't care. I was wrong. It's called drop off pickup

line or whatever. That's the line that I sit in guys. And it's hellacious. Like, it just, gosh, it's like the worst thing ever. Literally, I had a meeting at Jackson school, his teacher does this thing every month where the parents get together and like pray for the kids and go over like the curriculum and everything they have going on that month. She's super involved teacher and I love her. She's so good. And the one question that I asked in tonight's meeting was how much time is actually being spent commuting from the classroom to the drop off pickup line, because it's kind of like a far away away from the classroom. So they're spinning. The answer I got was 30 minutes, like total between drop off and pickup, which is like 17% of their day because

they're only there for three hours. So I'm like, okay, how do we shorten this so that they get like a little more time in school? And is the school that Jackson goes to, is it free because it's preschool or is it not free? Oh, no, it's not free. Yeah, okay, neither is Lincoln's and I'm like, this is absolutely crazy. No, no, I pay to be aggravated. I just I don't remember preschool being half a day. And I think because when I was with my mom growing up, you know, anytime she took me, she had to work full time at the time. So I feel like even if it was half a day, I was going for the entire day. Well, it was probably like you maybe it was like preschool would like daycare involved. You know, yeah, yeah, because there are some like really good daycares that

have a curriculum like at the daycare where they can stay full day. And then like the public pre K, if in the state of Georgia, it's like a lottery system. So you I don't really know how it works, because I didn't get involved in that. But apparently, like you enter some type of lottery, and then you get to see if you get it or if you don't. And it's like a free pre K through the public school system. And they stay all day and like a regular school day. So I don't really know about that. But yeah, Jackson basically goes to school like five hours a month. Basically is what it what it ends up equating to. But okay, so this morning, I have literally been from Atlanta, literally to Jerusalem and back like today, like, I'm not even kidding. Like,

I've driven all over the state it feels like. And it was just like a whirlwind. Like, I don't even know what I did or like how I managed to get done what I got done today with such a fiasco this morning. I feel you because that's how my day has been all day. So why does style have to mean zero comfort? Like, I'm seriously so sick of wearing shoes that I think are cute. And then I instantly regret it because I have blisters, my knees get sore, swear I'm gonna have to have a knee replacement, and my feet from wearing heels like all day. the text that you sent me. Is it acceptable to like take your child into school, not dress? Because I have a lot of feelings about this. First, okay, time out, time out. First, let me just say two things before we like roll out on this because I am super excited. Okay, one is that you guys know if you follow me on social media, I went to Dallas last week for my hairline and I got a pedicure while I was out there and I was super embarrassed because you know I had that fake toenail put on and I said to her like, please don't judge me. I have a fake toenail and she was like, okay, like I'm going to thin it out because like the acrylic was like super thick and I was like, oh my God, thank God. But so she starts thinning it out and I'm like looking at it. I was

like, oh my God. She said that my actual toenail is almost fully grown back. Like it's only like at the very tip the acrylic. So that's number one. Number two. Well, that's a celebration. Right, right. So I just wanted to update you all on my toenail. But the second thing is is I got in an accident about a month ago and my truck has been in the shop for a freaking month and I finally got it back this morning also. So those were like my two things that were good that happened. But going back to the text message about getting ready and the school thing. So my mornings are kind of crazy, just like every other mom's and Isaac has to be at the bus stop at 745. Lincoln doesn't have to be to school until nine. So typically I don't need to get dressed to

walk Isaac down to the bus stop. Like he might be a little embarrassed, but I'm not really getting ready. So then when I come back in the house, you know, it's still chaotic because the baby adds, you know, chaos, you know, within himself. So I'm like, I don't feel like getting ready this morning. And I had my hot pink sweatpants on. And mind you, they're like 10 years old. So they're like super worn out. I saw them. They're literally from Victoria's Secret Pink, like circa high school. Yes, 100%. I wore them on like 16 and pregnant. So yeah, and I'm 26 now. So I was just curious because you have, you just get in a car in like a car rider line, like a drop off pickup. I have to walk Lincoln into school, but I haven't always done that. So we don't even have the option to just

drive up. So I've always kind of had the option, except whenever he was doing two day twos, then I walked in. But up until this school year, I did not do carpool. I always walked in, but I always looked like a hot mess. And some moms were totally put together. And then some moms looked more like a hot mess than me. So I didn't quite feel so bad about myself. But let's be honest, like, I have a baby to feed. I have things to do in my house in the morning. Like I might have to start a little laundry. I might have to clean my toilet where somebody crapped in it. Like, I've got things to do that I can't be putting on a full face of makeup to do a drop off at preschool. No time. I did a poll today on Twitter. And I was like, am I the only one that hates getting

ready to do a drop off? And people were, it was like almost 50 50, I think it was like 45 55. 55% of people saying yes, I am the only mom that feels that way. So I was a little discouraged and I felt slightly judged. But also I was like, it's not and somebody complained and was like nine a.m. You're complaining that you have to be ready before nine a.m. And it's just like, okay, no, I wasn't, I was just being dramatic. Number one. And number two, like I do have three kids by myself and I work from home. So for me to get ready for me to work from at home, sometimes doesn't really make sense for me. So I'm just like, why, why? Well, and like no judgment because because I know that we've gotten backlash on people saying that

like we judged working moms or you know, whatever, no, no judgment towards anybody. I might not want to get up at seven o'clock and put on a full face of makeup to run 95 errands and then do whatever I have to do when I get home to complete my workday sign contracts or whatever the heck I'm dicking around doing like. Yeah, that's a good point though. Like I just yeah, are it's crazy. It's craziness. I guess the positive of being a working stay at home mom is you don't have to put on a face every day. But then the negative of it is your hours are you're always working. Well, and last night too, just to complain some more only for the simple fact that it's Monday. I don't know if you can hear it, but I'm congested. I've been sick for about a week.

And so last night I'm literally tossing and turning because I'm like, my mouth is dry from mouth breathing with my, you know, mouth wide open mouth breathing. I was breathing with my mouth open and just couldn't sleep tossing and turning and then I had to wake up at the ass crack of dawn obviously to get the kids ready and stuff like that go pick up my truck and I'm running around and I have errands and I have to make sure that you know first of all I let me just praise all people that are working stay at home not stay at home what the fuck ever because number one I don't know how people parents who go to work every day and do work a nine to five like first of all who's getting those kids from the bus how are you even making it work like what

I don't even know how I would function at a nine to five and like who would take my kids when they get off the bus who would let them in the house and watch them who would take them to their sports like literally Isaac gets off the bus at four o'clock so I have to make sure his homework is done and then we go right to jujitsu on Tuesdays and Thursdays like whatever so there's the job let me just continue on with what I was saying in Dallas we're we're we're we're we're rewinding back to my trip to Dallas I I'm starting this company for my hairline and I'm going to all these meetings all week and I'm like okay I don't even know how people who do business meetings all week can do this and plus travel and plus kids and family what the fuck like I

don't know how people balance anything right so then I come home and I'm home today and working and I have the baby and I'm trying to pick up my truck and whatever else and I'm trying to start this website so that people can buy my hair products on the website and now I need the about me section and I need this section I need that section I need the pictures done I need everything ordered on time I need the packaging I need the pr kits I don't understand how people balance life like I'm literally overwhelmed if you saw a picture of my office matter of fact I'm going to snapchat a picture of my office so you can see what I'm working with right now I don't want to know my fucking mind Lindsay I don't know how to balance life like I'm stressing

myself out I feel like though the funny thing is is that I've become so much more relaxed with like obviously I get freaking ticked like when I got that text this morning like oh wow a water main break really but then I'm thinking to myself dramatic like so dramatic but I'm thinking to myself okay life could be way worse it's only an hour because it's Monday yeah but I'm just like you know what my whole freaking day is upside down and this is damn near ridiculous and I don't know what I'm gonna do but you know what I'm gonna like pray for myself for like literally a solid 30 seconds and literally when I did that and I prayed for myself and I was like you know what Lord please just let me manage to get to the school by 10 a.m. get Jackson to where he needs to

say that but the people who also called it carpool were from Georgia Alabama and Mississippi so maybe it's a southern thing it has to be then those five percenters are definitely a southern people totally and then I feel like you call SUVs trucks and we call them like SUVs here no no no no no no no I call my suburban a truck because my suburban is as long as a truck and the parts are similar to a truck but like you're what you drive is an SUV or like um like a Toyota what is it called like a Nissan Murano that's a that's an SUV um my suburban is as long as a truck you know what I'm saying yeah like so I call my I call my I get it why you would call it a truck but you would still call an SUV yeah I would still call it an SUV because like I guess I just grew up thinking like

trucks just had like a truck bed you know what I mean right right makes sense but you're not the only person you're not the only person from like the north that calls SUVs a truck it's like very common I think I only started calling it like I wouldn't have called my Tahoe a truck I don't feel like like just my yeah because that's a Tahoe is like what size yeah yeah like an actual SUV yeah so now that we've complained for a really long time um can we talk about Halloween costumes because that's coming up and of course my child wants to be something that was only a target exclusive and also was very hard to find within a hundred mile radius Jesus Christ Lindsay why see I'm not doing all that extra shit like so what do you do we might make something out of

shit that we already have or we're gonna go to the store and just pick what's left we're gonna pick from what's left okay so that's so funny because I feel like my parents were totally those people that we went to the store like the week of Halloween and it was like okay you go to party city and if they don't have the number that you want then you go to like the next thing until you find one right but but you don't really have like an idea going into the store like okay this is specifically what I'm gonna get right yeah that's definitely how I grew up for sure but but again since I have one it makes it a lot easier you have to dress three for Halloween so I get it um but Jackson also is very into stuff like that and has been since like he could dress up

so he was super into it but can you guess what he's gonna be he wants to be the flash no he wants to be an incredible oh that would be a good one so did you get the costume yes so okay this is how crazy I am though like just call me whack bag because that's me okay um I tell will I'm like okay well first backup I tell Jackson if he has five good days at school we'll go and get his costume so I tell will I'm like if Jackson has had five good days on Friday we'll go get his costume so then will like tells me he's going to play baseball with Jackson at the field they're gonna go kick the soccer ball they're gonna go do this and then they'll come home well the next thing I know I'm getting a text of Jackson in a costume and I'm like okay what the

hell like they've completely left me out of this like this is a major thing that I'm not being involved in the costume picking out and I'm not okay with this so I call will and I'm like are you serious like you told me you're going to the baseball field and that's not where you are you're a freaking target and you're buying costume and I'll be so pissed if you come home with that and he's like well good thing they don't have his size so then we basically hang up on each other and then he comes back to the house and I'm like okay they didn't have a size so what do we do do so he starts looking online he's like okay there's not a costume within 100 miles radius of the costume that he wants and I'm like oh wonderful so I'm gonna probably have to travel 200

miles to get the stupid costume so then I call a target like near where will works and I give them the like ski or whatever and they have somebody go back and check it and they had the one costume and I was like oh my gosh can you guys please hold it till tomorrow so they held it and will picked it up today and brought it home and Jackson was so happy but this specific incredible costume has like the talking part to it so it has like the voice thing on it oh and he's probably thrilled thrilled they had we went to Costco yesterday but they didn't have the talking part so wasn't happening so he's pumped he's so pumped pumped so you don't even know like an idea of what your kids are gonna be fuck no I don't really care they could go as themselves for all I give a

shit oh my gosh kill that's just horrible I just stress out about stuff like this because well truthfully I don't even know whose day it is on Halloween this year so we'll find out um do you feel like I stretch you out more because I like get things in advance and it like puts pressure yeah sometimes I do because I feel like judged I feel like you judge me sometimes and I'm just like I'm not judging you I'm not I am not the Pinterest mom I'm just not and I think that I lack in some areas um aka the Halloween costumes but but I you know that's just not my strong suit I focus on other things I guess um but no I think Lincoln said he might want to be Wolverine which I don't even know what that looks like so I'm gonna google it later um and then Isaac probably

also wants to do Incredibles if I had to guess um and I wish so cute that would be cute I wish that Mowgli from the Jungle Book wasn't naked because that would be perfect for the baby and then also like I would love to do like a themed Halloween like all of us dress up from like the same like movie or whatever but I feel like Halloween is their time to be creative anyway and so I feel like I'm not gonna like put that on them I'd rather them just do be whatever they want you know what I mean I know but I'm totally about the family costume thing I'm I'm really about it Jackson came home and he was like so dad's gonna be Mr. Incredible you're gonna be a last girl and I'm gonna be Dash or baby Jack Jack but I'm not sure which one and we're like well you're definitely

think something is wrong with me people already think that I don't care it's fine but okay so last night I was laying in the bed and I was like oh wow this is gonna be really nice like I'm gonna be asleep by 10 30 and I literally have my phone over on the table the sound's turned off my alarm's already on like it's got my water next to me already brushed my teeth everything's great and I start feeling like these kicks in my stomach and so immediately like I laid there for a few minutes and I was like okay well maybe that's not what it was and then it started happening again and I'm like okay it was probably gas do you remember shut up yeah do you remember like those shows about the people that would be like yeah yes okay so I literally thought that was me and I

convinced myself of this so like I am googling like how common would it be to be pregnant enough to be having belly kicks and not showing and it's like all this stupid web md stuff comes up and I'm like oh great I should not be reading this is gonna freak me out so I go into the bathroom and I turn on the light I lift my shirt up and I'm like okay could there be a baby in there I don't think so like it doesn't look like it and so I go and lay back on the bed and I literally lay there and watch my stomach and I'm like okay something's kicking in there I'm pretty sure it was just gas I told you oh my gosh pretty sure but it should not feel like belly kicks that's a problem right like you need to take some gas x for sure for sure like will thinks literally the

right like it's on dangerous levels yeah it's it's truly a dangerous level but I knew that if I didn't consume it today wasn't going to happen right I know how that goes I'm basically I'm running on e right now on e fully on e my gas tank was running on e earlier too like everything is on e oh good um can I also tell you that had jackson had his first soccer game this weekend and he did so well and listened so well and just looks like he was thoroughly enjoying it it like did my heart good to know that he was enjoying something that much to watch him like not really into baseball and then to like have that complete switch but he's also had that complete switch at school so part of me is like okay is it an age thing or is it like the actual sport

it could be just everything he might just be he likes this year better and then the sport I mean I think if he wasn't into baseball and he's you're you're seeing that in him for soccer it was definitely the sport but also it could be just like a new year too yeah because he's still saying I'm never playing baseball again yeah so is will okay with him playing soccer I mean I guess he's gonna have to be no he's totally not okay with it but okay okay my philosophy is okay when you have children like you have dreams for your kids that might not align with their dreams for themselves just like my parents had dreams for me that maybe those were not my dreams and I did not meet their expectations on some things and vice versa like maybe their dreams I thought were

stupid so I didn't want to do those dreams and right I feel like growing up being the oldest child I always wanted to like give my parents what they wanted in their dreams that I kind of care less about my own dreams I don't want Jackson to be like that like I want him to be able to voice his opinion but respectfully I want him to be able to try whatever he wants to try and if he doesn't like it to know that it's okay because there's something else out there and I just want to raise him that way will is determined that he is going to play baseball and I'm just like no if he hates it that bad don't force him because it's going to make him hate it even worse right yeah I agree with that I do you know it's like trying to make your kids when you know

they're burnout on school and like trying to make them get that last worksheet in it's like they're so burnout that no matter how hard you push it's going to look like crap because they're just not into it anymore right like it's the same thing like same thing with relationships like with life I mean it's just I don't know it's just life and I just want him to do what makes him happy as long as it's like respectable and he's into it and he puts his whole heart into it I'm good with it like I don't care what it is see I'm struggling with I think I've talked about it before like Isaac sometimes doesn't realize that even things that he wants to do like he wants to play basketball but he knows that maybe he's not good as some of the other kids I want him to

want to play basketball and to put his whole heart into it sometimes I just want to do certain things that I mean I don't I don't necessarily have dreams for him other than to be like a good you know just be a good person and to be happy I want to support whatever it is that he wants to do but I'm trying to teach him that you have to do things wholeheartedly if you want to play basketball I'm I stand behind you but you need to put in the work you know what I mean if you don't want to play basketball and you want to do music I stand behind you but you need to put in the work I just like definitely I definitely get what you're saying and I think that Will will come around I mean it might not be his dream sport for Jackson but he'll come around well you could tell like as he was

watching the soccer game like obviously it was the first one so you can't really like get a great gauge but just to watch him like practice and be fully into it and then like want to play in the game and like get out there and like have motivation to like be a part of and he was like getting in there and like squabbling with the kids you know it's like right it wasn't like he was like scared or timid he would this was his first game ever and he really wanted to do it and be a part of it you could like tell like it did Will's heart good but he wasn't going to say it right oh well he'll come around he will come around um by the way for moms and dads who are listening because I know that some dads have sent us some messages that they do listen so we love having

you um but the flu shot is here and I know that um flu type A is already going around so um if you haven't gotten the flu shot and you do vaccinate your kids then I would suggest going ahead and getting it Jackson's getting his this week so Lindsay I've never had a flu shot in my life well I don't get them because I have adverse reactions to flu shots but I'm definitely an advocate for flu shots for children because the way that the flu has been over the past couple of years it's just been so bad when it hits kids that it would but I've seen them get the flu even with the flu shot well they can because sometimes the flu shot isn't fully effective towards certain types of flu like last year wasn't only 30 effective or 40 something percent effective

well there were some reports that said that but they weren't medical reports that said that so I don't really believe that um I just know that Jackson's gotten the flu shot since he's been able to get the flu shot and he's never had a bad reaction to it um it is a myth you do not get the flu from getting the flu shot I had adverse reactions we don't get the flu shots in our house at all none of us well this household does accept me and that's only because I've gotten sick two times but I don't think that had really maybe anything to do with the flu shot I was probably already sick and then that probably just like sent my immune system worse or something I have no idea but just an FYI it's available so if you want to vaccinate all right y'all let's take a break

friends with someone that you've already hooked up with totally unrelated to anything we've talked about so far on this podcast but it crossed my mind and I did take a not like a poll but I asked a question on Instagram you know what topics do we talk about tonight and someone did say like what do you do if you like your friend and so it made me think of our conversation last week like can you be friends with someone only friends with someone that you've already hooked up with without anyone ever crossing those lines again and two can you truly be friends with the opposite sex without one of them falling for the other person I think that you can be friends again if proper boundaries are set on both sides and both people stick to those boundaries but chances

of both people sticking to those boundaries because it requires two people not just one person right it's slim to none and if you considered them just a friend you would have never hooked up with them in the first place so right like we talked about when you meet somebody you either decide right off the bat that you would hook up with them or you wouldn't and so I feel like once you cross those lines even if boundaries are set like first of all it's hard to go back yeah and then like what happens when they get a girlfriend or boyfriend is it gonna bring up feelings is it not gonna bring up feelings how are how is the new girlfriend or boyfriend gonna feel about it like do you even tell them that you used to hook up I don't know like I was just

thinking about that like what what would someone do in that situation I don't know how about we're gonna ask you guys what would you do in that situation and on the next photo that we post on Instagram you can put in the comments what you guys would do and then what was the next question it was can you truly be friends just friends with the opposite sex if without one falling for the other can you truly just be friends with the opposite sex without one falling for the other yeah I think in certain situations like yes because like in working situations and stuff like that you might have two people that are in completely different life phases that's like maybe like an older lady that's like in her 60s and she's like a grandma or something and then you've got like

a 25 year old guy like obviously that's not gonna happen maybe in some situations it might happen I don't know but I think in like situations like that yes same life phase same um same type of like playing field as far as looks um same type of mental and emotional playing field no yeah I don't think somebody's gonna catch feelings that's what I feel like that too and once but even going back to the other one like once you've hooked up you've hooked up those lines are crossed and it can happen again so that's where I stand on that but that we talked about that and then it also came up on podcast topics for my Instagram thing so that's why I was bringing it up again oh and people also asked how do we like our coffee oh that was a good one so you go first

and I know yours is bougie as hell I know um okay if I go to Starbucks actually or Dunkin Donuts either one I'm getting the same thing um it's a light iced almond milk caramel latte um with caramel drizzle that's a lot to think of yeah I'll do like a flavored iced coffee sometimes although I will say that I'm I have not been feeling the iced coffee lately and I'm not really sure why because I do love iced coffee um however lately I've just been drinking um my wawa hazelnut coffee and I put a little bit of french vanilla creamer in it and I love it um I also at home just ice not iced coffee I like hot coffee with my my creamer so I don't like hot coffee at all yeah see I don't know why I have not I I'm so congested right now can you hear it

I mean a little bit like just your voice sounds a little different um yeah I just haven't been feeling the iced coffee lately I've been loving my hot coffee um so yeah that's that oh um speaking of just like updates and whatever um someone had sent us a message and I'm not gonna disclose this person's like relation or like anything like that to the case but for the pharmacy intern um I know that we were super involved with like wanting to know everything about that case but apparently the source says that he failed his pharmacy test and his dad had recently passed away um and he was supporting his family off of his income and he didn't know how he was going to tell his family that he had failed the test and he wasn't going to become a pharmacist um and then also supposedly

he was gay and he didn't want it to get out to the muslim community um because his mom would no longer be accepted in that community if they found out so I think there was a lot of things like like mentally emotionally um financially like a lot of different wheels turning and that kid's head that caused him to just like feel like he had no other choice oh that makes me so sad I know and another on another sad note um I didn't see the mac miller stuff first surprisingly you did yes um but did you read anything about it um the only thing that I know is that he allegedly had an overdose and that was it so I read that he was found at 1151 a.m. um in l.a. in his home and that he had been out the night prior with friends um watching a football game

and seemed perfectly fine and okay and he when the police got there and like started the investigation by the time they got there his house supposedly had been scrubbed clean like there was no no paraphernalia of anything other than a little bit of white residue in his house somewhere I can't remember where it said it was but there was like no pill bottles there there was like nothing um to be found so you know it's like an ongoing investigation um and I was really sad to see how hateful social media can be that Ariana Grande had to um turn off yeah she had to turn off her comments on instagram because of the picture that she posted well people were blaming her for his overdose and I mean that's just you know like somebody who is dated somebody you know like

for the time that they dated and been in somebody's life to that capacity that that they're grieving as well so like to go on there and to have people you know blaming her saying it's her fault is terrible I think that's awful I mean I'm she she from what I know I mean I don't know them personally but what from what I've read and what's in the media like she truly tried to love him through his addiction and so um you know that that's heartbreaking and and just to your point of that's supposedly his house had been um scrubbed clean is it possible that he overdosed and then got home and then passed away like maybe there's a reason why it wasn't there maybe he had done the drugs before he got home well I think that their point was that

that someone knew about it had yeah somebody knew about it I think is where they were leading with it and that um somebody who had had previous issues with substance abuse that they would have some type of pill bottles or something in their house like he had nothing sure okay I mean that makes sense yeah kind of like clearing everything out okay so in other news um I don't know do you watch the Kardashians at all um no no I'm if I'm being honest no I occasionally catch it you know like I haven't on my DVR if I'm just like laying around watching tv then I'll you know catch the episodes but um Scott on last night's episode apologized to Courtney after introducing Sophia Richie to their kids um and I felt like it was a super relatable thing um for parents who have

gone through a separation or a divorce um apparently they have gone to counseling and stuff like that and they had agreed that he was not going to introduce the kids to Sophia but she had already introduced the kids to her boyfriend and the episode kind of went into you know um her mom siding with Scott and her other family members saying that like yeah they agreed that it wasn't really fair for her to introduce the kids to her boyfriend but not vice versa so yeah I mean Javi and I definitely went through that I mean we're not the we're nowhere near the Kardashians but um after everything happened with our divorce and Chris um Javi had introduced I think four girls to Lincoln and I wasn't happy about it um so we went to counseling

and in our not counseling we didn't go to counseling in our like what did we do that with that was established was it counseling I don't know where we established it I think it was just like in mediation um that's probably what it was we had to wait at least six months to introduce and I mean at that point Chris was already involved I think I was already I might have already been pregnant um I don't remember but yeah and Javi still didn't follow that afterwards um but it is relatable it sucks but it is what it is I mean once you introduce them it's kind of like you can't really go back and saying sorry doesn't fix it I feel like I don't know I feel like what goes for one should go for the other but I also see it from like a mom's standpoint that you're

the mother so like you feel like you know what the kids are ready for more so than a dad might pick up on and introducing a new woman versus introducing a new man is a little different just because I know in my situation I'm with Jackson 24-7 so you know to introduce a new woman to be semi-taking my role would be devastating to me um and I would struggle a lot with that but I feel like a dad also would struggle with the same things just in a dad aspect I guess right my situation with Javi was a little bit different because Javi and I at 50-50 so you know for us I feel like what goes for one should go for the other but in a situation with um you know I don't want to say too much but like you know maybe let me not say that maybe for a

situation with a dad who only has every other weekend you know to introduce someone you know so quickly might not be you know you only get every other weekend with your child so now you're gonna quickly yeah I get it um you know if you only have that that small amount of time with your child now you're gonna split it with a new person and the child I don't know I guess every situation is different every person is different and also I think the ages of the kids probably factors in as well yeah definitely the ages of the kids but also the ages of the person that you're dating because I don't know that I feel that it's appropriate that a 35 year old man's dating a 20 year old girl right like you have to decide what their mentality is and what their

oh my god I'm so congested what they're you know you have to decide what their mentality is what their maturity level is and are they in this for the long run or are they in this just for the time being because you know if you don't have real plans to settle down with this person then maybe just don't introduce them at all but I feel like even though you can be mature as a 20 year old girl right you're still a 20 year old girl right like you don't really have the capacity to be a a stepmom essentially right no because I mean hell you're still being mothered so I mean I don't I don't know I just don't feel like at that age I feel like I can speak on it because I'm a 29 year old woman and I have a five year old child I feel like if I divorced and Will was

with a 20 year old girl I would literally tell him and her to kick rocks because first off mentally I would want to know what was going on in his head to think that that was even remotely appropriate and two no just no just no like all the way around no no no so I mean I kind of see it from both sides and I also see it like as a mom I feel like I would be able to know what was appropriate for my child and what level somebody could be in his life versus his dad might not be as um I think he's he would be protective but not as um picking up on emotional things because guys don't tend to be like as emotional as a female no I think I I can agree with that you know so I just I don't know I thought that was something that was interesting interesting super relatable to parents who have

been through it and been there done that and got the t-shirt I have to tell you one more thing tell me post Malone has nine lives dog like he has nine fucking lives do you know that he was targeted in a home invasion kill this is like I swear it's either like a um what do they call it like a thing that you do for the press like what is it called a publicity stunt oh yeah that like it's no no like it has he got into an accident first of all his plane tires went out after the vm a's then he gets in a car accident in his Rolls Royce and now he's been targeted in a home invasion which they thankfully didn't get him but I'm you know I'm starting to think that he has nine lives okay but first of all can we just briefly talk about how I thought post Malone was

driving a Kia what the fuck what why would you think that he was driving a Kia okay because there's nothing wrong with driving a Kia but I'm just like okay post Malone is like up there right like he's making good money I don't think he's driving Kia but he was um maybe it was a video no no no he was in this video and it was like the paparazzi I guess had already like got on the scene of the accident and they were asking post about the accident what happened and he referenced a Kia and then they showed like the car and the clip and I was like oh my gosh is that what he was driving was post like driving a Kia like who was he riding with like what was he doing but I had to watch the video three times and I realized that the person that hit him was the

person in the Kia god okay well I'm glad he wasn't at fault then oh man I hope some post he's he's a freaking cat man he is a cat for real like or somebody's setting him up to kill him well I'm so glad that he's dodging every bullet because the world would be would never be the same without post Malone like God's got his back we need to keep him for sure man the good lord above he's got post back like if you are not a believer then that would make you believe because any person post yeah for sure for sure I'm trying to go to posty fest in Dallas next month oh are we going yeah I want to give him my my my hair products they would be good for his hair they'd be good for his beard um so I just want to you know I can't wait to say the name of it
