Hey guys, it's Kail and Lindsay and we're back with coffee combos. We had an amazing episode last
week and I hope we bring back to you the same energy this week. Me too. I am so excited because
it's Thanksgiving and I absolutely love the holidays. Are you a holiday person? Depends on the
year. Well, that's true. Yeah, I mean, my holidays are a little bit different. You know, I have
schedules with the kids and I share my holidays every other holiday with the boys' dad. So
When I have the kids, I'm a holiday person.
Yes.
When you don't have the kids, I'm a me person.
You're depressed.
Well, so do you're like, okay, so Joe and Javi, do they both have the same year?
Yes.
Okay.
So I'll always have all my boys on the same holidays.
Okay.
That's good.
Yeah.
That's a big coordinated.
Yeah, I wanted it to be that way.
So like this year, I'll have them all for Thanksgiving.
And then they'll be with their dads for Christmas.
And then next year they'll be with their...
Dad's for Thanksgiving.
And I'll get them for Christmas.
Okay.
Yeah.
So do you prefer like Christmas over Thanksgiving or anything?
You know what?
It worked out perfectly for me this year because my aunt's actually having surgery.
So we're not doing like a big Christmas.
And so we're doing a huge Thanksgiving.
So I have all my kids for Thanksgiving and it worked out.
That's perfect.
Yeah.
So do you spend Thanksgiving with your aunt?
Yeah.
It's the same family.
Yeah.
So we're going to do just like a big Thanksgiving dinner at my aunts.
we're actually going to go to the Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City this year.
Oh my gosh.
That's so much fun.
And it's only like two hours for you, right?
Yeah, it's a two hour drive.
My cousin got like hotel to like overlook the city if it rains.
So like it will still be able to see it either way.
Yeah.
I'm super excited for the kids.
They're going to love it.
It's going to be like our one time like the only year we're probably ever going to do this.
So I remember being a kid and my parents took me and my siblings to New York City over
Christmas time.
And we went to the.
Toys are Us in Times Square.
There anymore.
And they had the little
Ferris wheel and it was so much fun and I just
that was one of my like favorite holiday memories.
It was so beautiful there but super super cold.
So I would definitely be, I mean I guess you're used to the north since you're in Delaware
But I still hate the cold though.
It's so cold.
Yeah.
So do you cook or?
I mean I think the thing in my family is everyone brings a dish.
My aunt does a turkey.
My aunt and uncle do a turkey.
But yeah, I'm like, I'm old enough now.
I can bring a dish.
So, like, what are you going to bring?
You know what?
I don't know because I, you know, this year, you know, I have to drive and stuff.
What's like a good, that's actually a good idea for people to tweet us, like what are dishes that kale should bring to Thanksgiving?
Yes, what are dishes that kale should bring to Thanksgiving?
I cook an entire Thanksgiving.
You cook it?
Yeah.
Oh, wow.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
So what's your favorite thing to make?
Um, well, let's see.
I don't really have.
Like my favorite dish to eat or like my favorite thing to make?
Both.
Give me both.
Okay.
Okay.
So my favorite dish to eat for Thanksgiving ever is sweet potato suflay.
What is that?
You've never had sweet potato suflay.
Shufle.
Yeah.
What is that?
Okay.
So it's like sweet potatoes and they are mixed like very, you know, like a potato like you want it to be like really smooth.
So sweet potatoes are like, I guess, like made really smooth.
And you put like butter and all of that good stuff in there.
Like literally it's tons of butter.
I have a video of what I made last year and I can put it on our story.
Do that.
Yeah.
So I have a video that I can put on the story of the souffle because I make food for Thanksgiving with so much butter.
Well, I love butter.
Everything's better with butter, right?
Yeah, everything.
Everything.
So the video shows like how much butter I'm using the sweet potato suflay.
And it's so good.
I use Senator Russell's sweet potato suflay recipe.
And I don't like sweet potato suflay that has marshmallows on top.
Like I like the ones that just have like the candied pecans on it.
And it's so good.
It's like a dessert almost.
But it's a side like with your main course.
But it's so sweet.
It's like a dessert.
We don't have things like that.
at my Thanksgiving. We don't even have anything pecan related in my Thanksgiving.
Then what do you have? Like everything that I have has pecans in it. Really? Yeah.
That has to be a southern thing. I think it has to be something. You know what? My sister, she's from Texas.
She came to my Thanksgiving and obviously we didn't grow up together. So we know nothing about each other.
And she even asked like, where's the pecan pie? And my whole family was just like, what? Like, we don't
have that. That's the best thing in the world. And we don't eat sweet potatoes, I don't think.
Maybe we have yams.
Is that the same thing?
We have yams at ours, but that's it.
But is it like candied yams or is it just like candied yams?
Okay, yeah.
You know like the sweetness or a candied yam?
Imagine that, but being more like a, I guess like yams and sweet potatoes are kind of like the same thing.
But the texture and like everything's totally different.
Okay.
Those are just like cut and sweet potato souffle is made like very like.
Like fluffy?
Smooth.
It's very smooth.
And it's something that you would like put in the oven and like bake it.
and it's delicious.
I'll have to look it up.
I've never even actually heard of this.
So I make sweet potato souffle.
I make homemade green beans.
I love green beans.
That's like probably my favorite part.
So good.
I make a ham.
I don't like turkey, actually.
You don't eat turkey?
No, because it's so dry.
It is dry, but I don't like the dryness of it.
There's gravy.
I know, but I don't want to put all that all over my food.
Really?
I put gravy on literally everything.
Like I make a plate and then I put gravy on.
everything on my plate. I bet you guys have mashed potatoes. Oh yeah. We have mashed potatoes. Did you guys
not have mashed potatoes? I feel like that's like a northern thing or something. Southern people don't
put mashed potatoes on a plate. I mean, I feel like people do put mashed potatoes, but my family's
always done sweet potatoes. We could do candy yams and mashed potatoes. Okay. And then we also do
homemade macaroni and cheese. I do squash casserole. I don't know about that. You're like, I don't
know about it. I don't even think we have squash at ours. Yeah, we might have squash. We don't have
zucchini. That's what I was getting confused. Yeah, we don't have zucchini either. And we do
yeast rolls. We do bread rolls. Like what kind of bread? Like white bread rolls. Like white bread rolls. Like
most people do white bread rolls. What is a yeast roll? Like it's a type of roll. It's made out of
yeast and it
I'm going to come to y'all's Thanksgiving and it rise like when you put yeast rolls out and
you let them sit out they like rise before you put them in the oven got it you know what I was
thinking speaking of the holidays like I don't since I don't have the boys on actual Christmas
just based on the schedules like we they have off until after New Year so I was like
do we do a cruise and that's our Christmas like Christmas with mom is a cruise and Christmas with
dad is whatever they're doing. Have you heard about the Disney cruise? I did hear about the Disney
cruise and I feel like maybe that would be a good one. I think I would have to check the dates.
But I also feel like you're the type of person that would like to go to like the island or something
like that. You know, go and get off and like let your kids explore like the different culture.
Yeah, but if it's for Christmas, I would be open to Disney cruise. Yeah, I think it's cool.
And I think that would be a cool way to since I won't have them on actual Christmas, we could still
celebrate Christmas through the cruise. So that Disney cruise might be kid friendly for Christmas.
Yeah.
If you guys think that Kale should go on a Disney cruise for Christmas, tweet me.
Hit her in the DM.
Hit her in the DMs.
So yeah.
So Thanksgiving is like a holiday that every year as a kid I would get the paper and be able to look at the sales ads that come.
And you know, like all the toys where they're at and what you can circle and what you can get for Christmas.
That's like the day that I'm moving Christmas list.
Really?
So do your kids do that?
Because Jackson does that.
No, I don't.
My kids really don't ask for, like I have to have them sit down to make Christmas list.
Like I have to, oh, you're sitting down for five minutes.
Can you please make a Christmas list?
And do they know what to put on it?
No, they never care and they don't ever really know.
They're like sitting there thinking for like 20 minutes.
I feel like it's because our kids do have so much that it's like.
What else could I possibly get them?
Yeah.
What else could you?
get them. So I would rather honestly like my new thing right now is just like I want to give them
experiences. I don't really want to ask them what toys they want. I want to ask them where they want
to go if they want to go to like Isaac loves dinosaurs. Yeah. Like what dinosaur museums are around.
Like where can I take them. I love like the interactive gifts. You know like the gifts where you
kind of get like a pass to go somewhere. Yes. Like how do you feel about that? Oh, I love them. I think
they're great. I mean the kids don't really when they're opening it like don't appreciate it until you
explain what it is, but I think that those are the things that my kids actually love the most.
Because it's not like a huge visual. I wish there was a way to like, there is a way. It's just time
consuming to. You have to like color, draw something out. Something out so that they kind of get a visual.
Because I feel like kids are very visual. Yeah. In the sense of they want. Like what is this piece of paper?
Yes. Yeah. Well, you're going to the Crayola factory or you're going to go to this dinosaur museum.
And they're like, okay, well, I don't have anything right now. Right. But here's the paper.
Yeah. But they enjoy it so much whenever they actually get to go.
Agreed. So this year we've kind of been like surprising Jackson. We haven't been telling him when we were going on vacation and everything's kind of been a surprise. Oh, that's cool. So it's like we don't, he doesn't know like where he's at or what he's doing until he gets there. Oh, that's so fun. Does he love it? And he loves it. Like the excitement have so many videos of him, like, of just the pure excitement of him not knowing. And the surprise is like 10 times better. Oh my gosh. That's awesome. That's what I should do for the boys for Christmas. Yeah, because they won't know. They won't know. Yeah. How great with it.
That would be awesome. And then you would be like on a Disney cruise and they would be like, what?
We should film something like that. I know. That would be so fun. Like the kids on a cruise.
Yeah. That would be so fun. I think they would love that. I need to plan something like that.
But could you keep it a secret and not tell them?
That would be the hardest part. Yeah, the hardest part would be me keeping it a secret because I'd be like, they would ask me, what are you packing for? I'd have to pack while they're at school.
I'd have to pack while they're at school
and I'd have to arrange everything while they're at school
so that when I pick the kids up
and we go to the airport they're like where are we going?
Yeah.
I don't know.
Where are we going?
I guess we're going to have to find out.
That would be super cute.
That would be so cute, right?
I should do that, yeah.
It's such a cute little idea.
I love it.
So speaking of traveling,
I came across this question whenever I was searching like on Google the other day.
It was like an ad or like a, I don't know,
it was like a mom blog or something like that.
And I saw a question that said in an emergency situation, would you apply the mask to yourself or your child first on an airplane?
Okay. So here's my, I have two thoughts on this because I think about it. Every single time I travel, this is something that I think about.
My initial thought is put the mask on the child first, right? Because that's your child. You want to protect your child and you'll figure it out afterwards.
Yep.
However, you put the mask on the child and the child survives and you don't, now the child doesn't have a parent.
Right.
So it's a catch-22, I feel like.
Like, what is the right thing to do?
So I've decided that in order for me to be calm to get the mask on my child, I have to put it on myself first.
Right.
So I think that's what all moms would say because I had that exact same response.
In the situation that I'm on a plane, I know FDA regulation is to apply the,
mask to yourself first and then help someone else. But when I think about my child being an
emergency situation and they can't help themselves, my natural instinct is to help them first.
But with that being said, if I don't help myself and I'm not there to be able to help them,
I would hate for, you know, the situation to get worse. And then something happened to me and then
they're facing all of that by themselves. So I think the logical thing to do would be to apply the
mask to yourself first and then apply the mask to them. But like I said, it's your initial thought is to put
it on them first, even though FDA says not to. Right. But then when you do think about it, I think we both agree.
You have to put it on yourself first. You have to put it on yourself first. But I think it's one of those
types of things that you don't know what you're going to do until you're in that situation. Yeah.
Because I really do think that if I was in that situation, I would put it on my kid first. Yeah. I'd have to
agree with you. I mean, but again, we wouldn't know until we're in that situation. And I hope I'm
never in that situation. Right. But I'm just saying, I think that's what I would do. Agreed. So if you
guys have any ideas for surprise vacations or gifts for kids or recipes for Thanksgiving,
send us those to our DMs on Instagram. It's direct message us on coffee combos podcast on Instagram.
Speaking of DMs. Oh, God. What do you get?
get in your DMs.
You guys don't even want to know.
Did I show you the message I got yesterday?
Well, you showed me that one, but it made me wonder like what else I get.
Because I know what I get.
Let's see.
I'm going to go through my DMs right now and we're going to, I'm going to read you some or I'll show you pictures.
Okay.
So yesterday I showed Lindsay a very interesting DM that I got on Instagram and I was actually
super embarrassing because I don't want to see anyone's nudes in my Instagram.
messages. I have DMs asking where my gray boots are from. I have people asking who my dentist is.
Okay. I have creepy men that I've no interest in seeing in my DMs in here.
I've got those too. Like this one just saying hi. It's very old. I don't know why you're in my DMs.
Like people asking me for divorce advice. Really? Yeah.
different languages that I don't know.
I get a lot of GoFundMe's.
Yeah, I get that too.
But I feel like I would love to like be able to post those to like help people.
But at the same time, there's so much stuff on GoFundMe that's not legitimate.
It's hard to determine which ones you actually want to give to.
Yeah.
And also when you have 50, 60 people DMing you their information for them.
Yep.
And then to sort through the ones that.
are legitimate is like I don't know I want to help you and I don't know how well and they can look like
very legitimate but sometimes like I've heard stories where people post it's so sad like pictures of like sick
children or whatever and it's like they have zero relation to that person it's something they
like found on Google and it's like a complete fake go fund me that's horrible that's so sad and I mean
I can't even imagine like what would be going through somebody's head to post something like that
and take advantage of people.
I feel like catfish.
Like I feel like the show Catfish on MTV.
It's kind of like that.
Yes.
Like you just never know.
And I always feel bad.
Like I want to answer those people.
But at the same time,
I don't know if it's like a catfish.
Right.
You know, and what if it is?
And what if that's just somebody also trying to talk to you?
I don't want to get involved, emotionally involved with someone that ends up being a catfish.
Or like, I don't know.
It's really, really hard.
It's like a catch 22.
You want to help them.
But like you also don't.
No.
If it's like legitimate.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I feel like that too.
And then you feel like you look worse because then you don't answer it.
And then you're like not helping someone that you could be helping.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And you feel like that person probably thinks I'm heartless, but it's not because I actually read those things.
And sometimes I'll find myself getting like so emotionally invested in somebody's story.
And I'm like, oh my, my emotions can't like take it.
Yeah.
I agree.
Like I just can't think about it.
You know?
I get so sad without.
kind of stuff. But then people send in like nudes. No, I don't want your dick picks. Like I just don't want
the dick pick. Well, and I mean, I just don't think that's like a pretty body part anyway.
No, that's what I'm saying. And it's like you, I, yeah, I understand I'm a teen mom. And I haven't
made relationships work all the time. But that doesn't mean that I'm sleeping around. So I definitely
don't want your dick pick. Yeah. See, I don't get, I think I blasted a few people like not posting
what I got, but posting like what kind of what they were doing. And I get like less and less.
I think because I posted it. You'll put them on blast. Yeah. You kind of put it on blast because it's just
not appropriate. Could you imagine if you had a daughter and she was in your situation and she was
getting all of these pictures of these guys' privates or, you know, whatever you would call it? Would
that not be offensive? It's so offensive. And it just.
Just like I don't send people my body parts.
I don't want to see theirs.
There's, yeah.
I mean, I just, I don't, I don't think it's cool.
But then I also like the, like, DMs that I get that is like, you know, I related to your story or.
Oh, yeah.
Like, let's read some nice ones.
So someone said from Canada, hey, Kail, your episode of 16 and pregnant is on.
All you have accomplished since then is amazing.
You're incredibly brave and a strong woman.
Congrats on your new little man and your.
graduation high from Toronto.
See, that's so nice.
Like that's so nice.
I love them.
That's so nice.
This is one that I got.
Let's read.
Hi, Lindsay, you don't know me.
My name is blank.
I'm from Wisconsin.
Normally, I don't contact people on here because there are so many fakes on here.
Basically, I wanted to know if this is truly your page ever since I started watching.
Chris Lino's best.
I have been a fan of your family.
Oh, how hard I've laughed.
I hope that you and your son are doing well.
You're a beautiful girl.
Even though I'm writing you this, something tells me that I won't hear back from you.
but that's okay.
I know how busy you are.
Take care.
Oh, see, that's so sweet.
It's so sweet.
But then you get like some really weird ones too.
Oh, yeah.
So I normally just don't respond to DMs in general.
Yeah, no, because it's hard.
And then once you start the conversation, you have to keep going and going.
And then if you respond to all of them, then.
Yeah.
I mean, you would just be sitting here all day.
Yeah.
But we do so appreciate all the supporters and fans.
Like if we should do a meet and greet.
Yeah, we should.
So maybe in the next podcast we do, we can set up like a time in place for our listeners.
Would you guys come to a meet and greet if we set up a podcast meet and greet?
That would be cool.
It would be really cool.
Tweet us if you would.
Yeah, tweet us and let us now.
Oh, another thing I was thinking about like the holidays.
When do you set up your Christmas tree?
This is like a common thing that I've asked so many people and so many people do different things.
Okay, all my friends love Christmas so much that they usually have their Christmas lights and Christmas tree up by like November 1st.
See, I don't like that because I think it takes all away from Thanksgiving.
I don't do Christmas lights outside because I don't put them up and I don't even know who to ask to put them up.
My Christmas tree, I would say the day after Thanksgiving.
That's what I do.
I'm not a Black Friday shopper, so I would do my Christmas tree probably the day after Thanksgiving.
I try to be a Black Friday shopper one time.
Yeah, I'm not going to push people over for a sale price that I probably got three days ago.
Yeah.
Because that's really where they get you.
I feel like it's almost like a marketing thing.
Oh, it's definitely a marketing thing because I think they have the exact same sales three days prior,
but people are looking for Black Friday instead of the Wednesday before.
Yeah, I agree.
So yeah, Christmas tree, I would say Black Friday.
Yep.
And then I would take it down.
Once Christmas is over, I take the Christmas tree down immediately.
Okay, so I do too.
Okay.
Because the day after Christmas, I like let Christmas ride.
And the day after Christmas, it's kind of like a workday in my house.
We take down like all decorations, like everything, store everything.
Because Jackson's birthday is four days after Christmas.
So I like him to actually have a birthday and it not still be.
Feel like Christmas.
Yeah.
I like a separation there.
I agree.
Isaac's birthday is also in January.
Well, there's a December 29th.
Yeah.
Isaac's in the middle of January.
And I just, no.
I have my Christmas tree down way before New Year's.
Yeah, every year.
But I know everyone leave, a lot of people leave theirs up past new years.
But I just want Christmas to be done when it's done.
Well, and I hate going to the store, like, whenever I went, for example, for like Halloween stuff, there was already Christmas stuff out.
And I was like, I can't even enjoy, like, Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving.
I can't enjoy Halloween.
I can't enjoy, like, any holiday because they're, like, pushing another holiday.
Yeah.
You know?
I'm pretty sure I saw, like, Easter stuff out already.
Easter?
Mm-hmm.
Oh, my God.
I can't even think about Easter. I haven't even thought about Christmas yet.
Oh yeah. I mean neither.
Like this is the first time I've thought about Christmas today in this conversation.
Yeah, in this conversation for sure.
Oh my gosh. So I was watching the news the other day. And did you see the thing about the UCLA shoplifting?
No.
Okay. So apparently UCLA basketball team went to China.
Yes. I did hear about this with Lonzo Ball's brother.
Yes. Yes. Went to China. And apparently like they went to Louis Vuitton.
and shoplifted a bunch of stuff.
Why would you shoplift from Louis Vuitton?
I guess they wanted Louis.
Well, you don't shoplift from Louis.
I know.
So they literally go shoplift from Louis and I don't think they get caught like actually
taking the stuff, but they find them on camera doing it.
So they go like on the bus, I think was a situation.
They go on the bus and they held three players in custody in China, like in jail.
I don't feel any sympathy or remorse.
But would you, oh, I don't feel any sympathy or remorse because I don't feel like you should ever steal, period.
Like, whether it be like a Louis Vuitton or, you know.
Snickers.
Snickers or.
I said snickers.
Oh, snickers.
Snickers.
Whatever.
Whatever.
Like, you should not be shoplifting.
No, I agree.
I just think it, like, looks so bad.
And so apparently, they held them in this China.
jail or you know wherever they were and could you imagine being an American doing something wrong
in another country and you can't understand anything that's going on around you you can't understand
anything that's going on around you and you're literally locked up that's your own fault oh no it's
completely their own fault but I would be in a panic I would be mortified yeah I don't know what the
hell I would be thinking I mean I bet you they'll never steal in another country again yeah but
they won't either. And so now apparently they're like suspended, which they should be. And they can't,
they can't do anything. Like they were terrified from what I saw the situation was just like horrible.
I just couldn't imagine. Oh, I couldn't imagine either. That's awful. And if that was my son that did some crap like
that, he'd probably get it worse at home than he did in China. China. Yeah. He would want to move.
to China when he got home.
When he finally got out of the China jail, he would want to go back to China.
Because I promise it wouldn't be worse than what it was at home.
That's so funny.
Yeah, I mean, I don't know.
I vaguely heard about it.
I didn't hear too much, too many details on it.
But I mean, either way, you shouldn't be shoplifting in any country.
Okay.
So I pulled up the article and it says the UCLA athletic director said that three players
shoplifted from three different stores inside of the high-end shopping mall.
Chinese authorities dropped charges against them and permitted them to fly home to Los Angeles.
They each made their first public comments.
I'd like to start off by saying, sorry for stealing from the stores in China.
I would hope that they would have come up better with something like that.
Something better than that.
Like, sorry.
Sorry I stole from China.
China.
I would literally kill.
I literally have no words.
I would kill my, not literally kill my child, but he would want to move to China.
Oh, for sure.
For sure.
It says among those who each of the players took time to thank was President Donald Trump,
who intervened on their behalf by asking the Chinese counterpart for help resolving the matter.
So it took the president of the United States to get them out of jail in China?
They should be suspended for the rest of the season.
They should be suspended indefinitely.
Indfinitely.
Because I bet you they won't ever steal again.
That's humiliating.
I couldn't even imagine.
Could you imagine getting the phone call?
No.
Or going on the news and seeing that your child, you know, like your child plays basketball
and is traveling to China and you're watching ESPN and all of a sudden it flashes up that
your kid is in a China jail?
And I'm not flying out to China to get them.
No.
They can sit there.
Like I hope the Louis was worth it.
Well, they don't even get to keep the Louis.
They don't even get to keep the Louis.
So it's not worth it.
No.
I don't feel bad.
I never felt bad in the first place.
I just thought it was interesting, like, that somebody would do something like that.
Oh, and you know what?
You were talking about the other day?
What?
This is completely off topic.
But you were talking about people talking about you.
outfit repeating.
Oh my God.
I get so annoyed.
Okay.
First of all, let's talk about that because on that specific post that I made, I hadn't posted
in those pants before at all.
That was the first time I ever posted a picture in those pants.
And they were like, do you ever change your pants?
Find me another picture with these pants on.
Please.
Because I didn't wear them before.
But if I did, I will wear the shit out of my pants before I get rid of them.
Oh, my gosh.
Gosh. So the outfit repeating thing, I've never really got that, but I know that you said that it was such a big deal and that you're just kind of like getting into like being girlier.
Yeah. I just like want to wear cuter outfits and try to be more like fashion forward, I guess, because I normally just wear like sweats and leggings and I call it a day.
Because you're like. Yeah. And I just think that I was like, I was pregnant for so long. I just kind of like didn't really have a reason to dress up. But like I want to get dressed and like.
feel cute and feel good about myself just for me.
Yeah.
And so the one time I like put a cute outfit on or I think was cute, they're attacking me about my pants.
And I never even posted in them before.
So I don't know what the big fucking deal was.
What were these pants?
They're literally like faded black gray jeans, like black and gray jeans.
Yeah.
They're faded.
They had like a couple holes in them.
But like that's how they came.
Yeah.
And that was the first time I ever posted in them.
Like you bought them that way.
I bought them that way for sure.
Okay.
So rapid fire, this is one of the infamous questions that I ask anyone, okay?
Okay.
One of people have heard it on Twitter, on my Instagram, I'm pretty sure on Snapchat.
If you were in a situation where there is a shark or there is a crocodile, which one are you more scared of?
And tell me why.
Okay.
I don't go in dark water because I'm literally terrified of.
a shark or a crocodile.
I won't go in the lake.
Okay.
Or I won't go in the ocean.
Okay.
But I literally think that...
If water and land is not a factor.
Okay.
I think I'm more afraid of the crocodile.
Okay.
Thank you.
I am so tired of people saying they're more scared of a shark.
Because here's the thing.
A shark doesn't like the taste of humans.
So if they bite you, they're most likely going to let go.
Where a crocodile is going to kill you regardless, just because of the thing.
just because it can and it will.
It doesn't care about what you taste like.
It's just its instinct is to kill you.
Right.
But people are like, oh, well, you can run away from a crocodile.
I'm not talking about that.
I'm not talking about land, water, nothing.
I'm talking about...
A crocodile or a shark.
A crocodile or a shark.
Does not matter land or water.
I feel like the more shark attacks that you hear about...
They live?
It's more like the majority of the time people live.
There are circumstances that are more severe than others,
which in any situation that could be the case.
But I feel like sharks attack because you are encroaching on their territory.
And they're curious.
They don't know what exactly is going on.
Right.
A crocodile, however, I think if they felt movement or you were just in the water,
I think they're just going to attack to attack.
Agreed.
And they may not even eat you.
They might just kill you.
Yeah.
And they can, don't they like wrestle you or something?
Yeah, they really wrestle you around, roll you around.
I would not.
Yeah.
Like, could you imagine me getting eaten by a crocodile?
Oh my gosh, no.
Like, that would be so bad.
I mean, it's so horrible.
What is your favorite pizza topping?
Pineapple and bacon.
I love pineapple and I love bacon.
What's that pizza called?
It's called Hawaiian.
Hawaiian, yeah, okay.
I like probably just,
a plain old extra cheese pizza.
Really? Yeah. No toppings. No toppings. Okay. Okay. Like if I just had to pick, you know, like I was
ordering a pizza by myself, I would probably just pick cheese. I'm doing definitely
bacon and pineapple. And something really weird too is I really like broccoli on pizza. I love broccoli.
I love it. It's so good. And I got Isaac to love it. And I feel like so many people don't know about it.
People don't know about it and I don't think that they're open to it.
Yeah, because it's broccoli on pizza.
But no, I'm obsessed.
I would definitely, we should definitely order that for dinner.
It's so good.
So good.
Broccoli on pizza is what's for dinner.
Okay, what is your favorite word?
Fuck.
Cale.
Sorry, I say it all the time.
That's so bad.
I know.
It's a bad habit.
I have bad manners, Lindsay.
Yes, you have bad manners.
We're working on it.
No, I say first of all.
That's like my phrase.
First of all.
Yeah.
That's your favorite phrase.
That's my favorite phrase.
And I said it before it was trendy.
Okay. Okay, yeah.
And I say shit a lot, too. I need to stop cursing.
You know what? New Year's is coming up and my New Year's resolution is not to lose weight.
It is to stop cursing.
Okay. That would be a good New Year's resolution.
Thank you.
I mean, I say like cuss words sometimes. I say like I'm Christian, but I cuss.
But I don't feel like I'm like as bad about it.
But what is your favorite word?
Is you. I feel like I don't cuss like as bad as you.
But my favorite word,
would probably be literally.
Literally.
I say literally all the time.
Literally.
Apparently.
Do you ever see that video with the little boy that's like, apparently, I've never
went on live television before?
That's me.
I love him.
Like, that's me.
So I'm going to go with literally.
Literally.
Bacon or Nutella?
Bacon.
No, I'm taking it back.
I'm going to go with a Nutella.
Because think about all the different things that you can.
Put it on. Yes, you can put on a waffle.
Yep.
You can put it on, you can eat it with a spoon.
Which is so good.
Which is disgusting.
You can dip it.
Like, have you ever had those pretzel thins with Nutella?
No.
Okay, so they're like really, really thin pretzels and you dip it in Nutella and it's like you get the sweet and salty at the same time.
Oh, okay. So I definitely need to do that.
Yeah, it's so good.
Okay.
you rather play mini golf or real golf? I'm horrible at regular golf. I don't even know how to swing a
club. Right. So I think I'm going to go with mini golf. And I bet you it's a lot more fun and I could
take the kids. So the mom and me, yeah, I'm down with the mini golf for sure. Me too. And I'm like a
pro at mini golf. Like I'm really good at it. Who is your favorite Disney princess? My favorite
Disney princess, I would have to say, is
Rapunzel. Okay. Because she like wants to be a free spirit and she just like
wasn't allowed for the longest time. And then when she was finally free, she loved her life.
I feel like my favorite Disney princess is Belle. Why? Because I just relate to her story.
I could see you being Belle for Halloween one year. Yeah, but I would need to have dark hair, right?
No. Like I could just do it with blonde. You could rock it.
I don't remember really watching Beauty and the Beast as a kid.
I was more of like Pocahontas, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid.
I really love Ariel.
Yeah.
Do you say Ariel?
Ariel.
Ariel.
Ariel.
I say Ariel.
Ariel.
Ariel.
I have a friend who spells her name just like the Disney princess and it's Ariel.
Okay.
So I don't know.
It's Ariel.
I think it's Ariel.
Ariel?
Okay.
Yeah.
I love Ariel.
So Jackson really doesn't like.
What is that one?
Ariel?
Yeah, what's that show?
Like, what's the movie again?
Oh, the Little Mermaid.
The Little Mermaid, yeah.
Okay, so Jackson said he really doesn't like the Little Mermaid.
And the only reason he really doesn't like the Mermaid is because that big lady is really mean.
Oh, yeah, she's really mean.
What, it was her name again?
You know what?
Movie My Kids Love, and this is not a Disney movie, but it's like a movie from when we were kids.
Matilda.
Matilda.
That was my favorite movie.
That was my favorite movie.
My kids love it.
It wasn't your favorite movie because it was my favorite movie.
It was definitely my favorite movie.
My kids love it, and I love that my kids love it because it's so old.
Okay, so Jackson, I tried to make him watch Matilda, and he was super excited about watching it.
And then he, like, when I got it on and stuff, in the Trunchable.
He wasn't thrilled anymore.
He was scared.
He was scared.
He was so scared.
And I was like, yes, when he gets bad, I'm going to threaten him with mistrunchable.
You're going to go in the choky.
That's so funny.
Okay.
So remember, like, back in the day, whenever we used to have a spelling bees, did you?
did you ever like win a spelling bee?
No, I never want a spelling bee.
So I was a runner up for the representative for spelling bee in my fifth grade class.
Oh, that's a fun fact about me.
Look at you.
Yeah.
I never went a spelling bee.
I never was a runner up either.
But yeah.
But it's fine.
I'm fine with a runner up.
Did you play sports?
I mean, not really.
No, okay.
I played.
I just wasn't a sports girl.
I did lacrosse in high school.
That's about as far as my achievements go.
Actually, I got perfect attendance in the fourth grade.
Perfect attendance.
Perfect attendance.
I think I used to get perfect attendance all the time too.
Okay.
I'll check up on that.
Yeah, we'll get back to you.
And tell you our accomplishments.
We'll tell you our elementary school.
All of our elementary school.
Accomplishments.
Oh, yeah.
I still remember my favorite teacher.
Mr. Field was my fourth grade teacher.
I loved him.
I don't remember any of my teachers.
You don't?
No.
Teachers really made an impact in my life, you know?
Well, yeah, because you just had a different life than me.
Yeah, I agree.
So you were, like, looking for the guidance, you know?
Right.
Like I had that at home.
Yeah, you had that at home so you didn't really connect.
Yeah.
So like you connected to your teachers on a different way than I would have connected with them.
It was just like they were there to teach me things that my parents didn't teach me.
Right.
And I had a different upbringing.
So that makes sense.
Yeah.
