Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys, welcome to Coffee Combos, Lindsay, how are you today? I'm good. I'm sitting by you, so I'm happy. Life is perfect. Yeah. We know. Oh, thank God. Today we have a really cool guest that actually I have never met in person, but we are on
Starting point is 00:00:20 the same franchise. So we're welcoming Ashley from Young and Pregnant to the show today. Hey. Hey. You know, I'm so glad that we finally got to meet in person because I follow you on Instagram and I just feel like I know everyone in the franchise even though I don't. Yes, I feel like I know you. I feel like I know all your business at least.
Starting point is 00:00:40 Yeah, exactly. Uh-huh. I'm like, is that jacket from Fashion Nova because I know we both have deals with them. Yes. Oh my gosh. Lindsay, where we feel really bad that you don't have a Fashion Nova deal. I don't want a Fashion Nova deal. Okay.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Well, that's unfortunate. And you tell us, did you watch Teen Mom or any of the other shows before getting cast on this show? Yes. You did? I watched, I've been watching Teen Mom since like before Macy had her baby. Same. See, I was already pregnant when I watched Teen Mom.
Starting point is 00:01:14 Yes. But you were not a teen when you had your daughter, right? I think I had my daughter at 20. Okay. I was pregnant at 19 though. Okay. Got it. Got it.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Sure. So can you tell us a little bit about young and pregnant, how they approached you to be on the show, or did you like sign up to do it, or how did that whole process go? Yeah. So I found out I was pregnant and I was like, hmm, I just was on the computer. I remember how I saw it, but I just saw that they were casting. Same. And I was like, let me just send some like two sentence paragraph.
Starting point is 00:01:50 And it was like typos, there was no like punctuation, nothing, nothing capitalized, nothing capitalized. That's why they hired you. Yes. I'm sure it was. I'm sure it was. And then they called me while I was at dinner. And I was like, who is this keep calling me from New York? I don't have your money.
Starting point is 00:02:08 I'm not going to pay you. I'm not going to answer. And then I called again and I was like, let me just see, because no one's ever called me from New York. And when I answered it, it was like, hi, this is so-and-so. And I was like, were you still in disbelief? Yeah. Because when they called me the first time, I was still like, no way.
Starting point is 00:02:23 I was like, how much do you want for me to sign up? Because you know how some modeling companies are like, yeah, it's just $800 to sign up. And then we'll book you on all these modeling gigs. How much do you want to sign up? And you're like, oh no, we're serious. And I'm like, oh, OK. OK, put your money where your mouth is then. Did you kind of already know what to expect based on what you watched?
Starting point is 00:02:43 It's completely different, huh? It's completely different. Yeah, people do not understand. And even Lindsay was on, I don't know if you know, Lindsay was on a show on USA. She was on Chris Lee Knows Best. But there is an even more intense than Teen Mom, because they have like eight camera people where we only have two or three. Yes.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Yeah, so it's a completely different style production. Because with MTV and Y'all's franchise and your show, it's like a docuseries. So they're kind of following you and then just getting like the real, real. Right, yeah. Kind of. Right. You know what I mean? So it's a completely different type of production, and I've told Kale so many times I couldn't
Starting point is 00:03:23 imagine being you guys. That's crazy. So I wanted to, I wanted to ask you how your life has changed since you've been on Teen Mom. I think the biggest thing is just like people know who I am. And I feel like when I signed up, I didn't think about the fact that like people are going to know me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:42 I don't, I didn't either actually. It didn't touch my mind until I was out and people started noticing me. Right. And really I'm like an introverted kind of person. Yeah. I'm always like, hi, do you really want to talk to me? Yeah. Do you really want a picture?
Starting point is 00:03:56 Yeah. I had to get used to like someone's looking at me and I'm like, what are they looking at? Yeah. They're probably know who I am. That aspect never crossed my mind. Yeah. Like even thinking back.
Starting point is 00:04:07 But when you started it though, it wasn't like Instagram and stuff was around. Oh yeah. The social media thing like blows it a lot of proportion. Exactly. Instagram probably two years after the show, after I had Isaac. I didn't even know what Instagram was when I started Chris Lee knows best. Yeah. And so, but I think when, even when I was right now, I'm thinking about when the
Starting point is 00:04:28 original teen mom aired, I never thought, oh wow, like they're going to get recognized in public or like, oh, what is their life going to look like after this? Like that never crossed my mind. And then I got into it and I was like, wow, this is so weird. You can't do anything without it making a headline. Yep. It's like something that's going to happen in a curse because it's like, if you do something really good, that's amazing.
Starting point is 00:04:47 Obviously you would want it to come out, but then you say one wrong thing at a context or they take something out of context and you're like, oh shit. And I never realized how stupid people are. People are so stupid. We talk about that every day in our life. They don't, I find myself like at the beginning, I found myself explaining the dumbest things and like, do you guys, this is not common sense. Right.
Starting point is 00:05:10 Like was I raised somewhere different where common sense is just not, this is not common. There. Yeah, no. So I do have a question. So since you watched Teen Mom, you watched OG, Teen Mom 2. Is there any more shows apart of the franchise? There was. 16 and Pregnant, I guess.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Teen Mom 3. Teen Mom 3, which didn't last. I've never seen that. Have you met any of the other girls besides the one on your show? I've met some of the OGs from reunions or whatever. So with Young and Pregnant being a first season show, did you have any reservations on going on the show and it failing? Not really.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Because I didn't think about any of that. Like I didn't. You could meet anyway if it fails. It didn't. It didn't cost. I didn't know that. But I wouldn't want to be a part of it. Yes, girl.
Starting point is 00:05:59 I wouldn't want to be a part of a show that I knew wasn't going to get like a second season. Yeah. I didn't want to be a part of a flop. But I think the biggest concern for me was like there's already like a set cast of Teen Moms. Like people don't want new Teen Moms. People act like they do, but then when they get new Teen Moms, they're like, we're not used to these girls.
Starting point is 00:06:15 So my whole thing was like, are we going to be received well because OG and 2 is already so popular. People have connection with those girls. And did you get any backlash like that? Kind of. It was like, oh, you think... From any of us? No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Not from any of... We'll get into that. Not really. It was more so like the fans kind of being like, you girls are trying to replace the OGs, respect the OGs. And it was like, no one's trying to replace them. It's just, we're just a younger generation. I never felt that.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Like I didn't feel any type of like ill, I didn't have ill feelings towards it. The one thing that I've always, that has always bothered me in this franchise is that they don't give anybody a heads up. Hey, we're doing the show or hey, the trailer's coming out tonight. I've seen clips on Twitter before they tell me that my trailer comes out or whatever. And that's the thing that it's more of like a respect us, we're the one that brings in the money for them. And so it's kind of like annoying.
Starting point is 00:07:17 But they had me on TRL with Jade and we hit it off. Once we got there, it was initially a little weird, she had an attitude and I was like, oh my God, this is not going to be good. And then by the end of the night, we were cool. It was awesome. So I was like, oh, if all the girls are like this, then we're gonna, it's gonna be great. Yeah, we're all, I think our cast is, well, you know, time will tell. But as of right now, everyone's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Like there's no drama. I feel like there's, like we don't, we're not really like friends in real life. You know what I'm saying? Like they all live so far. I live in the Bay Area. Like I don't live next to anyone. So I see them like twice a year. So there's really no need for drama.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Yeah. I had that on my list of questions. Our cast is not like that and it's, hopefully it won't change for you guys. I hope not. I think with your cast though, everything has kind of been competitive with social media being after the fact of you guys starting the show and then people developing followers at different rates and stuff like that. I just feel like y'all are way more competitive.
Starting point is 00:08:23 We're like more personally intertwined, I feel like. Yeah. Yeah. Very personally intertwined and because y'all created friendships, you know, that like fell apart. Yeah. Whereas you're kind of going into it with a mindset of, okay. It's more of a co-worker thing as opposed to like a friend thing.
Starting point is 00:08:38 Right. Like I love all of them. You know what I'm saying? Of course. I care for all of them. Yeah. It sucks to see some, so that they go through and I do reach out, but like I wouldn't sit here and say like, oh, we're all really good friends, you know, like on a day to day
Starting point is 00:08:49 I don't really talk to them. Right. And I think that's the same for a lot of us. I mean, I definitely check in with more than I check in with others. I definitely check in more with some than others, but over the years you might feel more of like a friendship, you know, but no, I can understand that and respect that. So did you guys get a season two or you don't know? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:09:10 So y'all are not filming? They don't tell me anything. I read everything as, I get, I read it on the Ashley. Oh yeah. You know, Larry is, Larry hates the Ashley and actually when I landed here, he called me and was like, um, I just want to make sure that the Ashley is not phone tapping this conversation. I said, the Ashley doesn't care about you, Larry, and he goes, I beg to differ. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:34 Oh my gosh. I find that on the Ashley too. I'm like, I don't read everything on the Ashley. And then it's always like a super inside source. Well, I read something yesterday because I did this dating show where Google alerts because now that Kale and I are attached to each other via coffee combos, then everything that team mom that comes out, my name is attached to it. So then I get the Google alert like four days later and I'm like, Oh wow.

Sign up at coffee.robinhood.com. I read this article about the dating show that I did. The Ashley had taken my tweets and it said exclusive. I thought it was exclusive. I was like, what the fuck did I say to somebody that I don't remember and I looked it up and
Starting point is 00:11:15 it was just my tweets. I said, oh, okay. Oh my God. They always say exclusive. It's exclusive. You talk to them. I didn't know how misleading the tabloids were until I got into it. I used to be like, oh my God, this is happening.
Starting point is 00:11:26 But I will say I was buying all the magazines. But I've read so much stuff about myself. The Ashley is almost pretty much spot on. Really? I've never read the Ashley article that wasn't true. Have you? You did? I read an article.
Starting point is 00:11:40 Ashley gave a statement and they were basically asking, what do I feel is different from our show versus OG? All I said literally was I feel like we're just a younger generation and our problems are a little bit more relatable because they're problems of today. What Macy was going through when she was having Bentley is different from what we're going through now. It's a different time. Now they turned it in and it was like, young and pregnant Ashley slams all the OGs, talks
Starting point is 00:12:06 about how their show is a flop and it's just one quote for me. That's literally a lie. And I was like, this isn't right. This is not even. But that's kind of how reality TV edits. Yeah. So I mean, yeah. So I do have a question.
Starting point is 00:12:23 You had a feud with a mom that's no longer a part of the franchise. Just call it out. Call it out. Call it how it is. Flip flop there. Flip flop. Okay. Probably accurate.
Starting point is 00:12:36 I like that. Tell us everything. I went to LA. Oh, wait. I read this. Oh my God. Tell me. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:45 I was invited to FabFitFun in LA. Me too. And I didn't go. And I was super excited. It's the first ever like brand party I've ever been to. So I was like, yeah, I'm going to go, whatever, whatever. But I had previously linked with one of Farrah's like PR people. Who was it?
Starting point is 00:12:58 His name is Johnny. Johnny Donovan. Yeah, I work with him too. And he was like, you know, like come downstairs, meet Farrah, even like that. So I came downstairs to the event. I met Farrah. She was super nice. Super fucking nice.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Yeah. Like can I? Yeah. No, I curse all the time. She was super nice. Like no issue. Like we did our little thing. But I only saw her for like five minutes literally.
Starting point is 00:13:17 She left. She came for five minutes, took like five pictures and then she left the event. So then I get on the internet and it's like, um, she's saying basically that she didn't have Sophia to be famous unlike some of the other teen moms. And then she said Ashley. And then she said your name. She said my name and then she said that she never was talking about me, but in the video, is there another teen mom named Ashley?
Starting point is 00:13:42 No. Okay. Not that we know. So it was you. So I knew it was me. It's like you just meet me all of a sudden and then all of a sudden like you're saying my name. Like what are the chances that you're just randomly saying Ashley, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:13:54 So she was like, not like the other teen moms on this franchise, like, I don't know, Ashley, Cheyenne. Cheyenne. What? Yeah. What? She was already on a TV show before she got pregnant, right? Let's not rationalize someone.
Starting point is 00:14:08 That's an idiot. She doesn't really. Jesus Christ. Yeah. So she, so that's what I saw. And then so basically I responded by saying, well, you know, you show your ass and every other part of your body to stay relevant. I mean, like you couldn't just be a teen mom.
Starting point is 00:14:24 You had to have sex on every platform you could. And then you think you're licensed to charge $5,000 for sex therapy girl paid for all that ass. And it doesn't even move. The boobs don't move. So. Neither does the butt. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:38 Nothing moves. So my whole point is, don't talk shit about what people do to stay relevant, honey, because you. She's like the epitome of doing anything to stay relevant. You are Cloud Chase 101. That's what you should be selling tickets for. How to Cloud Chase. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:14:53 Farrah. But I did see her riding. She got on like some private jet. Maybe it was just a photo op. I don't know. I'd be curious to know like people are actually paying Farrah to do shit. I know what they are paying her to do. I'm not going to say it because it's none of my business, but it's our business when
Starting point is 00:15:09 you tell us. I'm telling you, Dubai is a wonderful place. Yes. Oh. She's not wrong. She's not wrong. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:15:21 So tell us about your little girl. I want to know all of the things. Her name is Holly. She is now 16 months. And she's the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my life. I feel like they grow so quick. Wait, can I ask you a question while I'm on here? Why is Bar not on here?
Starting point is 00:15:36 Why is he not on your Instagram? Well, the truth is he pissed me off. Did you archive them so you can bring them back or did you just delete them? I have them all. I have them all. Are y'all married or just together? We're engaged. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:49 To get married. I hope so. I don't hope so. Are you engaged to be engaged or engaged to love it? Engaged to be engaged to be married. Okay. So y'all got in a fight or he pissed you off and you deleted all the pictures. That's so mean.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Because I'm an emotional girl. Also, it's like, I feel like our business is so out there because we post so many pictures and I feel like people really take that. People don't understand that just because he's not on my social life doesn't mean he's not in my real life. So I feel like when I'm ready to post, if I have a fire pick, I'll post it. Yeah, I'm sorry. But actually my friend, that's you for sure you.
Starting point is 00:16:21 In the real world, he is still my baby daddy. I was just going to say, in future relationships, I feel like I'll post them but not tag them. Oh my God. Because I don't need to be handed my man or my woman out all these people to slide in their DMs. And I was like, sis, please don't do the kissy faces on his picture. No, don't do that. Like, you know he's in a relationship.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Girls have, let me just shut up because once upon a time, I wouldn't so, you know. But I don't go with him, he had a girlfriend. Okay, so please tell us the details. Like, how did you guys meet? Did you know this girl? Yeah, did you know her is the real question? The real question and did he just like leave her immediately when he saw you? Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Definitely did. That's he is. Definitely. And he's in the corner putting his head down because he wants no parts in this podcast. I met Barr in high school. We had a mutual friend that I knew from elementary school and he always liked me. So he tried to use Barr to like set us up. But really, Barr ended up falling for you.
Starting point is 00:17:28 But I ended up moving back to California and going to the same school as him, coincidentally. So when I saw him, I was like, ooh, you're so much cuter than your Facebook picture. And I just like started liking him. And then he moved to London and I didn't see him for two years. Yeah. And then he moved back. But when he moved back, he had this girlfriend. From London?
Starting point is 00:17:48 Yes, from London. Did she have an accent? No, no. He moved back and then they got together. He had been here for like six or seven months or so. And it's another girl that we knew from high school. So yes, I knew her. I didn't care about her.
Starting point is 00:18:01 She's not my friend. I don't owe her shit. And actually, I just thought Barr was so attractive and I had one thing in mind. And so I told him, stay with your girlfriend because I'm bad news. And he didn't listen. Okay. So you warned him. I told him.
Starting point is 00:18:18 So did he leave her or did he cheat on her? With you? He cheated for a while. And then he left. I mean, I think the alternative would have been that he would have just kept cheating and then never left her for you. Okay. But in my defense, let me just...
Starting point is 00:18:35 I'm not judging because I've been through some shit. But what would have that been like if you, okay, if you get with a man who's cheating on his woman, but then... They never leave the woman. They never leave the woman, that would piss me off. Then I'm literally going to sabotage, like I'm not here to sabotage. I was 18, fresh out of high school, fresh out of a three-year relationship with a girl that was very toxic.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Oh, wow. You had a girlfriend. I had a girlfriend for, what, three and a half years. So you and Kale are basically the same people. Same people. You are my people. Yes. Kale is my people.
Starting point is 00:19:06 Yes. So I left her. I didn't want to be a relationship. I just... Wanted to be free. I wanted to be free. And so I told him... I know about that.
Starting point is 00:19:15 Don't... Yeah. We can all relate, girl. Yeah. So that was the situation. So I told him, I said, make it work with her. Don't come over here trying to be, you know... In a relationship and shit.
Starting point is 00:19:25 But it just happened that they were already growing apart. So... Okay. That's fair. And that's... And you know what? People like... And you just became a part of that toxic...
Starting point is 00:19:34 We just started hanging out every single day. And then one day I was like, I'm going to hang out with another guy. And he was like, no, you're not. And I was like, yes, I am. And he was like, no, you're not. And I was like, if you want to tell me what to do and who to do it with, make me your girlfriend. And he was like, okay, you're my girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:19:46 Oh, my gosh. Oh, yes. It's only that simple, the rest is history. So then you guys get pregnant. How far into the relationship? About... We got together in 2015. I got pregnant in 2017.
Starting point is 00:19:59 Okay. So two years. You guys were kind of... Okay. And how has your relationship been since you've had Holly? Up and down. Yeah. It's like everybody who has kids.
Starting point is 00:20:08 I think... Yeah. You don't know how immature your relationship is until you have a child. Yeah. I agree with that. Because the conversations become so much more serious. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:17 It's like a lot of communication. Yeah. Like it's a... Yeah. Well, and I feel like whenever you have a kid, your whole life just changes so much. Yeah. And everything becomes about your kid and it's no longer about you and it's no longer about your partner and it's what's best for your kid and you start realizing that maybe you're
Starting point is 00:20:32 not even best for each other. Yeah. I think that's true. It can be a hard transition. To your point, I feel like sometimes when you're super young, even if you're not a teenager, but like 20, 21, 22, like you're still in a phase where you kind of want to go out with your friends and like do that whole thing, but someone has to stay with the baby. So who gets to go out?
Starting point is 00:20:49 Right. And then you resent the other person because I have to do this, this, and this and what are you doing? Do you know what I mean? Right. And it doesn't have to be that way where if you're older and you're married and you feel like, okay, we're going to have this child and we're going to do X, Y, and Z, it's more like you're maybe not ready, you're not going to go out, you're not going to be worried about
Starting point is 00:21:04 who's going out with their friends. You know what I mean? Yeah. And so that was really hard. I mean, I went through it with all three of my baby dads. So I get it and I always feel like the first two years are the hardest. Like if you can make it through those first two years and sleepless nights and all of that stuff, then you have a more solid foundation, I feel like.
Starting point is 00:21:25 I feel like there's so much resentment there when I really first have a kid that you're like, okay, I just only want to kill you. Yeah. Pretty much. Yeah. Not the kid, the significant other. Yeah. Let's clarify.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Let's clarify that we're not talking about killing the children, we're talking about killing the men. Yes, killing the men. Yeah, for sure. I'm with you guys on that one. Okay, you guys. So let's take a break to talk about something a lot of women have to deal with, which is birth control.
Starting point is 00:21:50 So making an appointment with your gynecologist and worrying about refilling your monthly pack and the expense of a doctor's visit can be really frustrating when you just want to get a birth control prescription. So we discovered a great way to get your birth control questions answered and fill your prescriptions easily from home and that is with hers. Hers wanted to make birth control affordable and convenient for everybody and that's something that we can all feel good about. If you have no idea where to start, that's not a problem.
Starting point is 00:22:15 An independent physician can recommend the pill that works best for you based on the information that you share and the doctor's medical evaluation. I'm all about convenience. So for me, it's a major win when I don't have to book time off to go to an in-person doctor's appointment, pharmacy lines, be on the phone with my insurance, and every way possible, hers would like to take this hassle off of your plate. So we're all so busy and the last thing that anyone wants to do is go to the doctor and deal with red tape and so this is such a great solution for that and they make it so that
Starting point is 00:22:44 you get everything you need, including an online doctor's consultation and the prescription for $30 so you don't need insurance. Order now and our listeners can get their first month of birth control from hers.com for just $5 right now while supplies last and subject to doctor's approval. See website for full details. Go to forehers.com slash coffee, that's F-O-R-H-E-R-S dot com slash coffee, forehers slash coffee. Restrictions apply, see website for full details. So tell us like what your hardest struggle was whenever you entered motherhood.
Starting point is 00:23:25 What would you say like the hardest thing was for you? I think me and Bart come from very different places, he was raised, like let's just keep it real, he was raised in the ghetto, he was raised in East Oakland, I was raised in El Cerrito, so they're two different worlds and my way of life is different from his. So there's some things that we just don't see eye to eye on certain things that I feel like are very important and he feels like are very important, they don't align. So it's like how much is too much to give your child, I want her to have a lot of me, I want her to have a lot of my book smart and I want her to have his street smart,
Starting point is 00:23:59 you need both, but it's like how much is too much, how do you make it even? I guess the hardest thing is when you're a new mom, you just want everything to be good for your child. You don't know what's good yet, because you just had a baby, so it's like, yeah, you're just making all these turns hoping that you end up where you're supposed to be. Did either, because you guys come from such different places, did either one of your families have an issue with you guys being together? Definitely.
Starting point is 00:24:25 Really? He's nodding his head in the background. His mom didn't like me because she felt like I was too bougie and my grandparents and my family didn't like him because they felt like he was too ghetto. And so how do you guys balance that out now as everyone pretty much civil and like getting along or what does that look like today? Well I just started saying I don't care how anybody feels, I'm gonna be with him and I'm gonna do it regardless, so if you don't want to deal with me because that's your loss
Starting point is 00:24:48 because I'm fucking amazing. If you don't want to deal with him, he's fucking amazing, so you lose out, we're two amazing people, so I mean if anything, we win. And you guys are still together raising your daughters, so I mean that's what's most important. I feel like you guys are, you've stuck it out this far, not only for each other, but now you're raising your daughter together. Right, right. So it's worth it.
Starting point is 00:25:08 I think in the end my family, my family kind of was just like, well you know, she's gonna be with him either way. So either I can distance myself from her and not know what's going on with her or I can accept her and just maybe not be all up in his face all the time. You know what I'm saying? I think the way, at first they were about shit crazy, I don't know what to do. Your family or his? Both.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Oh wow, okay. I wanted to not be a part of either. I wanted to be adopted. You wanted to also kill all of them. Yes, I wanted to murder all of them, so now it's people are getting to a point where everyone's cordial and everyone's trying and everyone's on the right foot, but at first it was hard. And not to mention, I didn't do things the right way, no one really met him.
Starting point is 00:25:47 How my grandparents and my dad met him is, I was sneaking him in my house all the time and he was sleeping in my bed, we were both butt naked, my dad was in the room, we're under the covers, my dad was in the room, he's like who's in your bed, I'm like nobody, he's like I can see his feet. I tried to jump up, but I'm naked. So you pulled the blanket off or something? I think he had his boxers on or something like that, but I like jump up, I'm like getting my clothes on like, oh it was crazy.
Starting point is 00:26:18 So that's how they met bar. Oh wow. Did they kick him out? How did that happen? Oh yeah. Yeah. You're not giving us any conclusion here. Basically my dad, I think he just instinctively knew just get the fuck out of the house.
Starting point is 00:26:30 So somehow he ended up downstairs and then after I got my clothes and I ended up downstairs and my dad was all like why are you here, like my dad was pissed. Obviously. And my mom had to come, my mom had to come and like break it up and pick me up and I think he took the bus home or whatever, so how far between that and the next time they saw him and was it awkward? Well the next time they saw him was when my mom went to Vegas and he was in Vegas and I had to come home that I was not moving back to Vegas with him.
Starting point is 00:26:58 I wasn't moving back to California with her, I was staying in Vegas to be with him. So the next time she saw him, she was clothed. The next time, right? She was clothed. Good, good. But I had even worse news. You were pregnant. No, my mom had went to Vegas on vacation and he had went with his brothers on vacation
Starting point is 00:27:15 and when he got down there he was like I'm staying and I'm like well I'm staying too. So the next time my mom saw him was when we were in the hotel together and I was telling her that I was not coming back with her, I was staying in Vegas with him. I bet she loved that. Oh yeah. She loved it. Oh my gosh. She loved it.
Starting point is 00:27:31 She loved it. I cannot. This is an amazing story. I did not realize that people actually snuck people in their house, like I didn't know that was like a for real thing. I snuck him in like every night for like two months. And they didn't know just that one time, what was the... What's the protocol of sneaking somebody in?
Starting point is 00:27:49 Well first of all, how did he get caught? Like why, how did you get caught this one time? Did you guys make noise? Like what happened? Kale. What? I need to know. No, we were done making noise, girl.
Starting point is 00:27:59 We were going to work. No, that's not what I meant. That's not it. Well my dad usually wasn't there. We were done making noise. Yeah, we were done making noise but it wasn't the noise. He was just checking on his daughter. Yeah, my dad was usually not there, but my dad was there this one time and my dad is
Starting point is 00:28:17 usually like five in the morning person. So here he comes six in the morning. But why was he knocking on your door? He obviously had a feeling something was going on because why else would he wake you up and check on your noise? He heard you because there was a lot of, there was a lot of, my grandparents were getting the backyard redone, the front yard redone, so I think he was asking me to come downstairs and help him with something because everybody was in, everybody in the house was up doing
Starting point is 00:28:38 stuff but me. So he probably was like, let me go wake up Ashley and tell her to come downstairs and tell her that we're all up and moving and trying to get the house together. And we had an extra set of hands. Oh wow. Oh my gosh. I could not imagine what it would be like to sneak somebody in my house like that wouldn't even be at all.
Starting point is 00:28:56 He was coming through the window, he was coming through the front door, he was coming through the back door. I didn't have a bedroom door so that would have never been able to happen at my house. That's not a thing. No, I would have been murdered. I would have been here for coffee combos. Yeah, no, I would have been buried in the backyard for sure. Same.

So tell us once you started filming young and pregnant, how your life changed? Obviously, you're in the public eye now. Is it just me or does every person on the franchise get in a bad mood the minute we start filming? Oh, it's me all the time. Literally, I will be at my front door and I'm like, I can't film today.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Yes. The day went well. Actually, I'm not even doing anything, but I don't feel like it. The mood is just like... See, I don't even understand that kind of production. As soon as we start filming, I'm instantly in a bad mood. I have an attitude. I'm defensive.
Starting point is 00:31:46 I'm cold. I have a stone face. Do you know why? Because you know that you're going to be talking about shit that you probably already have emotionally dealt with million times, talked to your friends about and now you're over it and now it's two months later and you're judging it back up. Well, and also, I'm about to be 27, all pretty much my friends have full-time jobs and stuff, so I'm like, my friends don't want to film.
Starting point is 00:32:08 They don't want to... They're like, oh, we need a scene with this. We need a scene with this. So it's a whole bunch of couch scenes where you're just talking about shit that you don't even care about. Yeah. So it's rough. It's definitely rough.
Starting point is 00:32:19 I read something that... Well, two things. One, I read that you didn't want to re-sign at one point. You didn't want to get back into it if you got a second season. The second thing that I read was, I don't know who maybe Lexi or Leah or something did not get re-signed. I read that, too. Do you know if it's true?
Starting point is 00:32:37 I don't know. Who's Lexi or Leah? She's a girl in her cast. What were your reservations about filming a second season? Because I feel like they only show one side of me. I can be super cool or I cannot be super cool. Same. But I feel like they don't show how I tick to get angry.
Starting point is 00:32:57 They... All you see is like, I'm super cool and then I'm cussing you out. But they don't show the escalation. So it looks like I just attack people all the time and that's really not who I am. And I just got to the point where it's like, I'm the first black girl on the show and I feel like you guys are trying to keep me in this bitter ass baby mama, like, role. I don't want to talk about the same shit. I don't want to always be the one that's having negative conversations and negative
Starting point is 00:33:19 feelings. Like, I offer so much more than all this fucking drama and it's about my real life, then check in with my real life. My real life is so positive. I don't have any... Like, the TV drama is different, but my real life drama is not almost non-existent. So I just felt like they weren't portraying me as I am, like, yeah, I can be a bitch, but who can't?
Starting point is 00:33:38 You know what I'm saying? But if you really want to get the story, show things that lead up to the explosion. Don't just click bait with all this fucking, you know what I'm saying? And you're not really showing what happened. Yeah. I think to me was just... I've struggled with that over the past 10 years. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:55 Every person that we've had from the franchise that we've talked to has kind of said... Express the same thing at some point during the Teen Mom stuff, we've all kind of experienced that same thing. Like, I just was on, like, I guess you could call it a strike for a couple weeks because of the strike. Yeah. I mean, it was a filming strike. I didn't film for a couple weeks and I was just, like, I'm tired of being the same cold
Starting point is 00:34:20 bitch that they portray me all the time. Cast, like, they don't, it's not like there's no room for growth because as soon as you do grow, they want you to have a conversation about something that you've already grown from. Yeah. And it makes it seem like you're always in this state of just perpetual, just like... Right, right. You can't get out of this.
Starting point is 00:34:39 There's no way you get out of this. And then I don't even watch it back because it's like, geez, I always look angry. No one gets to see, like... And you've already lived it, like, twice already. So then when you're watching it on TV, that's the third time that you've lived it and you're just kind of like... Right. Like, it's old.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Yeah. Yeah. That's how I feel. Yeah. That's a horrible place to be in. But you do probably get a lot of stuff that people say that you've helped them in some way, I'm sure. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:04 I do get that. I get a lot of people telling me, like, oh, you gave me the guts to just say how I feel. And I'm like, well, that's good because I'm a very outspoken person and everybody knows I'm gonna tell you how I feel. Right. So I want everybody to say how they feel. I don't want anybody to be walked on. So I'm happy that I can hope in that aspect.
Starting point is 00:35:18 Right. So, you know, it has its pluses and minuses. I wish they would film, like, the Teen Mom cast together, like, on a vacation. I pitched that so many times. I pitched that too. They took my... I said, because we were going to Puerto Rico the one year, my family. And I was like, oh, we should do this for Teen Mom too, like, get us all together.
Starting point is 00:35:38 They took that idea and then they took the Teen Mom OG girls to Puerto Rico. And I was like, wow, that was a bummer. Like, that was my idea for my cast. But like, it would be cool to, like, people love crossover, so it would be kind of cool to do, like, you guys with us whole point. People love to see people. I mean, I feel like Teen Mom has kind of, it just had the same feel for me for the past couple years.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Yeah. Like, let's spice it up. Right. Let's get some, you know, unity going. Like, let's get the OGs with the, I mean, there's some of the twos I don't want to see, honey. So leave those at home. Leave those at home.
Starting point is 00:36:09 Some of the twos. And it's not me. Yeah. There's some of the twos I don't want to see. So leave them at home. But I'll take the good ones. I'll take all the ones that are cool, you know what I'm saying? Yes.
Starting point is 00:36:19 I know the twos. I know the twos. You've met only the good ones, huh? Yeah. Well, consider yourself best. Yes. I did want to ask you about school. Are you still in school?
Starting point is 00:36:35 Yes. Or you are? I'm still in school. I'm on track to graduate in July. Yes. Okay. And what are you going to do, like, when you graduate? I'm going to be a CMA, so Certified Medical Assistant, which is really, I mean, I don't
Starting point is 00:36:47 want to downplay myself because it is really something. But basically, the program that I'm in was nine months. And I started when I got pregnant. So my thing was like, okay, I'm pregnant. And then in nine months, I'll be able to have a career. That was kind of how I want something quick and that I can take and really have a career with. Right.
Starting point is 00:37:05 So I left when I had my baby. I didn't go back. So now I paid all this money. I might as well go back. Right. And then I went to school to be a nurse practitioner or physician assistant and open up my own like beauty clinic. That would be so cool.
Starting point is 00:37:18 Oh, like, like, um, like Botox, these stuff, like Med Spa. Yeah, Med Spa. Yeah. Yeah. That's awesome. I actually have a friend in Dallas that has a Med Spa. Yeah. That would be so cool.
Starting point is 00:37:28 Okay. If you didn't have a baby so young, do you feel like your career path would have been different? Yeah. What would you think you have done? Well, I probably still be a stripper. You what? You were a stripper?
Starting point is 00:37:40 Yeah. Can you teach me how to do something? I did not know about this. Yes. When we were living in Vegas, I was a stripper. Okay. Did you make a lot of money? Well, to be 19 and stripper and yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:48 I can't dance. We should take pole dancing. Yeah. That's what we should do. For coffee combos podcast. Yeah. But also for YouTube. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:56 I'd probably, the thing we should snap off at the top. If I got on it. Uh-uh. No, it would not. You would see girls, every girl, every side. Do they like big girls though? So tell us about. Being a stripper, like what is that like?
Starting point is 00:38:10 Did you, you didn't have to work like a nine to five. I made my own schedule. Well, that's good. I probably went in to work three times a week. And that paid the bills three days a week? Yeah. Oh, amazing. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:38:23 No shade. Must have been pretty good. Seriously. I would have to work like eight days a week for me to be making any type of money. I'd have to work 12. Yeah. You just go on the good days. Like I don't go on the good days and I might stay from nine to.
Starting point is 00:38:39 A.M. or P.M.? 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Maybe. Wow. That's not too bad. But sometimes you get like a bachelor party and bam, that's $2,000 right there. So then you can just leave. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:38:51 $2,000. No wonder people do it. Now don't put your day job leave. Don't put your day job leave. Don't put your day job leave. Don't be called most podcast. Neither of us are really considering this. Only because I can't dance at all.
Starting point is 00:39:02 So same. Like I would, it would be tragic. You'd be surprised. It's not about the dancing. It's about the illusion of dance. It's about the swaying. If you can just. Like yoga on a pole.
Starting point is 00:39:13 If you can just hold the pole and sway. Most clubs can't dance. No, I can't dance. I can actually dance. Okay. However, most clubs, they don't like the ass shaking. Do they talk about. It's just a lot of like nice sensual like movements.
Starting point is 00:39:29 If you get me. Like yoga. Yes. Like sexy yoga on a pole. With no clothes. Yeah. Imagine. Did they talk about this on your show?
Starting point is 00:39:38 She said with no clothes. In the beginning they did say that I was stripper. I think. Cause a lot of people know. They do? Yeah. This is the first I'm ever hearing of this. I think I'm like the very, very like first part of the first season.
Starting point is 00:39:50 Like my first. How many seasons have you all done? What you're all sure. Well, it's been one, but it was broken up. Like A and B. Okay. You had two seasons. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:59 So like in the first half. Like they introduced me. Got it. Okay. Okay. Okay. Whatever. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:07 Wait. So are all strippers. Like completely naked or is it just sometimes like halfway naked? I think they have their underwear on. Yeah. No. Don't bring your man girl. No.
Starting point is 00:40:15 It depends on what club you go to. Some clubs are topless. Some clubs are fully nude. Oh. My club is fully nude. Okay. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Wow. I've been to a couple of strip clubs. Yeah. For example, I was a friend for his 21st birthday. Or wait. I was, how... I got in illegally. Did you have to be 21?
Starting point is 00:40:35 In Pennsylvania, I think. No. He was 18 and I was younger than that maybe. Wow. I don't remember how old we were, but how did you like it? I took him, and when I came back, she was like trying to get in his sweatpants. Okay. No.
Starting point is 00:40:54 See that's not a thing. But that club got shut down. See, okay, it depends because some clubs are like... clubs are like real nasty, real raunchy, anything goes. The club that I worked at is called Palominos. It's one of the only clubs that's actually fully nude and serves alcohol. Usually the rule is if you're nude, they don't serve alcohol
Starting point is 00:41:10 because they don't want you to get drunk and touchy-filly. They don't want to avoid problems. So all the private dances, there were cameras in the room, there were security guards that walked us to the room, like they time-checked. We had to sign in for a private dance. Like it was no funny business.
Starting point is 00:41:25 They were kicking, like they really took care of their girls. Right. Well, that's the one that you would want to work out. Yeah, that's the one that is. They're going to work at. Yeah, it wasn't a back door. You were paying $60 to do this. Oh, the one I went to.
Starting point is 00:41:35 Yeah, it wasn't a back door. But how would you feel if your man went to your shirt? Would you let Bar go without you? Yeah. See, I don't. He knows better. I'd murder him. See, I don't have a problem with it at all.
Starting point is 00:41:49 What's your problem? Like I don't think that if I'm with somebody, they don't need to be getting a lap dance, like in the back room. But I don't care if they went. I don't care if you went. And guess what, if you're going, you better get a lap dance, because you're going to make it worth it. Yeah, the first time he went to the club, he was scared.
Starting point is 00:42:02 He didn't want to touch the stripper. He didn't want to smack the butt. He didn't want to do anything. I said, we did not come all the way here for nothing. You better smack her butt. But you were with him in that moment. You better throw some dollars. Yeah, but if he went, I mean, I trust him.
Starting point is 00:42:13 And here's the thing. If a guy's going to cheat, go, he's going to cheat the same way. No matter what. He's going to cheat at Starbucks. You know? Right. Cheat. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:20 I mean, there's no amount of P.I. work you can do to keep your man from cheating if he's a dog, he's a dog. So you just have to wait to catch him. And you know what I'm saying? I mean, yeah, but you can't try to. I mean, I feel like I'd rather him, I rather know that he's going and who he's going with and him to tell me that he's not going and go because he doesn't want me to be angry. Right. Because then I'm really going to be angry. Well, so. No, I would rather the honesty. Like if you're going to go, just tell me that you're going because I'm going to be 10 times more mad.
Starting point is 00:42:47 Well, so. And then you're going to think he's cheating because like why you didn't tell me you were going. Why you didn't tell me, yeah. I, there was one time my friend and I were at the house with the kids at my house and strippers were tweeting me that Hobby and his friend were at the strip club. We're like, oh, that's why your man's out here getting a lap dance while you're at home with the kids. And I didn't know. Wow. We didn't know. And that's when I was like, oh, no, like you're not about to pay our mortgage money to these strippers and I didn't even know about it.
Starting point is 00:43:12 Right. So that's when I would have a problem. But other than that, like if I know, it wouldn't bother me. I don't think I mean, I want to do like I want to live my life. Like, you know, I might want to hit up a strip club or whatever with my girls and I don't want him to feel like, you know, like there's trust. I guess I just, you just have to trust the person that you're with. Right. And if, if that's not an environment that you're used to, it can make you uncomfortable. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:34 You know what I'm saying? But if when I was dancing, it wasn't about sex. It wasn't about any, I don't know. It was about taking all of your rent money and making sure that you couldn't pay rent when you left. Yeah. If you look at it as a job, if the stripper is really serious about the stripper, really serious about making her money, she's not trying to sleep with your man. There's no money in prostitution is illegal. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:56 And also the clubs don't like, my club wasn't even like, you couldn't even like, it wasn't a thing. They were so on it. Like if it even looked like you were getting too friendly, they're separating people, keeping people out all the time. Yeah. It just sleeping with them didn't cross my mind. It was like, ew, you're in here paying to see butt cheeks. Like, do you not know Pornhub exists?
Starting point is 00:44:15 Like, just give me your money now. Shout out to Pornhub. Yeah, like, I don't know, it was weird. Oh my God. Since you guys have been on Teen Mom, have any other shows approached you to be on? I know some of the girls, I've been on marriage boot camp.
Starting point is 00:45:59 Marriage boot camp? Had they? They approached us all. Oh, you were approached too? I forgot about that. Have you not wanted to do it? They told me I couldn't. Then how did I do it? Oh, because you were on a couple of seasons before they offered it to you. But here's the thing, if you were to walk away from Teen Mom young and pregnant, you could do that show.
Starting point is 00:46:21 So you can do it either way. What are they going to do? They're going to fire you? They're basically saying that they feel like I need to wait because a lot of the girls didn't get other TV offers until they were already far their end. This is what I would say. Just do it. That is what I said silently. I didn't know how far I can push the line on what I wanted to do. Because there was a time where Teen Mom 2 was still going on and probably longer than OG.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Farah, for example, took opportunities and we had both been on the show for a long time. So why was she approved and I wasn't? Also, all of her endorsements and her products and stuff, her books, were all in the background of Teen Mom filming. They blurred my own book out in my own home. And I was like, oh, no. That's not fair. So I would just say that's not fair. Do you have an agent? That's how I did it. But I did go through that whole thing, but my agent said if Marriage Bootcamp wants you, they'll come back. That's true. They will. Are you not going to do it?
Starting point is 00:47:32 I don't think so. You just got to put a lot of your... I just feel like it's so... I feel like you could get something out of it for sure if you do it the right way. But I definitely feel like you've got to put so much out there that it's already bad enough as it is without going and putting all of that out there. My stuff was already out there. The thing about being on Teen Mom is it's already out there. So really, it looks like you're going there to deal with it because it's already out there.
Starting point is 00:48:03 All my shit was already... But that's the benefit of the docu-series, I guess. Where you're able to kind of keep your family problems private as much as you want or you're willing to give. So that's probably a plus to being on your type of show. Yeah. I would take that if I could. I always tell people that I want to be on this show. I say keep your privacy.
Starting point is 00:48:28 Nothing is worth giving up your privacy. Nothing in this world. Everyone knows everything about me. I don't think I have one secret at this point. None. Not even one secret. No. Actually, you do.
Starting point is 00:48:40 I was about to say. I know what you did last time. I just wanted people to think that they were secrets to find out. But there's none. There is none. Okay, I have like... We like to do like the fun question thing. So we're going to ask you just like a this or that and you tell us what you'd rather.
Starting point is 00:48:57 First of all, I asked this on Twitter today. What is your favorite breakfast meat? Bacon. And why? It's just... Bacon is just bacon. I mean like... You don't need a why for that.
Starting point is 00:49:10 You can't beat bacon. We are sausage link type of people. Really? Yeah. See, I'm not a sausage person. See, we like the way it pops in our mouth. I hate. Okay.
Starting point is 00:49:20 First of all... I hate. I should have said first of all, girl. First of all, let's just rewind. Okay. That's what you like. In your mouth. That's...
Starting point is 00:49:28 This is not for me. Okay. This is not for you. Second question. If you were to make an omelet, what would it be with? Eggs, tomatoes, avocado, probably basil. Dang. What the fuck is basil?
Starting point is 00:49:41 That's real specific. I don't even eat omelets. I've never had one in my life. Okay. Which is so weird to me. You need to come over. Are you going to cook me because I can't cook? Girl, I'll make you some sausages and an omelet.
Starting point is 00:49:52 Oh my gosh. I'm so weird. I only like cheese on my omelet. But that's basically like... A scrambled egg. That's like scrambled eggs and cheese. But I don't think so because the texture is different. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:50:03 The omelet world is so big. You need to expand your minds. Yeah. The omelet world is in this. Coke or Pepsi? Coke. Yeah. I grew up on Pepsi and I hate it.
Starting point is 00:50:13 I love Coke. We both grew up on Pepsi. I grew up on Coke. My grandparents always buy Coke. Coke. Yeah. For sure. Beach or city?
Starting point is 00:50:21 Because the Bay Area, you're where? In the city? The city. So you're picking the city or you would rather be? I'm picking the beach because in my head, I'd be at the beach. But I'm picking the city because I want to be truthful to you. I feel like I'm a more beach person. I hate the city.
Starting point is 00:50:37 I don't like the city either. I don't like the city either. But I mean, if I had to pick LA or New York, I would for sure pick LA just because it's... Okay, but you are dealing with like some serious city. Okay, I am dealing with Berkeley. That's not anywhere near LA or New York. So your experience probably is more traumatic. I invite you to my side of the world.
Starting point is 00:50:57 And I'm dealing with Atlanta. Oh, I love Atlanta. It's like my favorite place ever. I love Atlanta. That's like a city, but I feel like I could live in like that type of city. Maybe we should all come to Atlanta and then just have like our own show. Atlanta and Dallas for sure. I like Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:51:13 Yeah. I love Atlanta. Like I couldn't imagine myself living somewhere else, but I always think about where else I would live. Yeah. Would you live in LA? I feel like I live like on the beach. Here.
Starting point is 00:51:25 I definitely do. The houses look like they're gonna fall off into the water. Yes. There's no backyard. There's no space. Touch. That doesn't scare me. Oh, see, I don't want anyone to hear my trauma.
Starting point is 00:51:36 But what if you have an earthquake? That's in the mudslides. And then your whole damn house is sliding. Yeah. Yeah. That's a little bit scary. I just wouldn't be nervous looking at all that water. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:48 I don't know. I don't know. Something about it just makes you. Something about the fact that there could be a huge tsunami and my house can just be like washed back into the water and me with it and my child. Yeah. That's kind of all I feel like. I mean, I'll take my chances with the earthquake.
Starting point is 00:52:00 I'm not a strong summer, so I'll go where I know best. Sorry. I'll jump over the cracks in the ground, but I'm not going to know. So do you guys have a date set for your wedding? September 2020. Okay. So a year and a half? Not an actual day, but that's the month and the year.
Starting point is 00:52:20 Yeah. Yeah. Well, that'll be good. I got married in September too. It was a good time. Not too hot, not too cold. I'm born in September, so. It's just an awesome month.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Yeah. Do you want to have more kids? Yes. But not anytime soon. No. So you don't want your kids to be close to age? I do, but I just don't have the time or the energy. Yeah, it's hard.
Starting point is 00:52:41 Especially when you're like going to school and stuff. I had Isaac and then was trying to go back to school and I like kept going to school dropping out, going to school dropping out. It ended up taking me seven years and then obviously had Lincoln and then decided to finish, but they're three and a half. They're almost four years apart. And I still think that that's still good. They love each other.
Starting point is 00:53:02 So. In about five years, my IUD will be done. It'll be expired. Oh, actually it won't. So I will maybe be ready to take it out. Maybe not. But this one's good for 10 years. Right.
Starting point is 00:53:13 So, you know, we might just be going and going and going. I love it. Lindsay doesn't even know if she wants more kids, huh? Yeah. I have a six-year-old and I don't know, you know. Take your time. It's just hard. Like I feel like, but then I feel like one of my eggs dropped.
Starting point is 00:53:26 Well, that's why we're going to freeze your eggs. Yeah. Exactly. We should film freezing my eggs. Yeah. And maybe also mine. But I thought you were going to do, oh, you would do gender selection.
Starting point is 00:53:38 Yeah. I want to do gender selection because I only have, I have three boys. So like I, for sure. But I asked, I definitely asked Chris and Chris was not about it. And not about gender selection. Because I think he would have to like go in a cup and then.
Starting point is 00:53:49 Oh my God. Also he'd probably wouldn't willingly have a girl. Like I think it would just be like, you know what I mean? Yeah. So, but one day. Yeah. I want a boy. One day.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Maybe one day in 10 years. Okay. Do you think that aliens exist? Yes. Definitely. Do you? I do. No.
Starting point is 00:54:10 I don't have a take on this. This is like one thing that I'm just not sure. I just don't think it's real. I feel like we like have not explored anywhere near the amount that we need to explore to be able to rule out. They've never taken an actual picture of the entire earth. They haven't done a lot of shit. It's actually Photoshopped.
Starting point is 00:54:26 Ask them why you can't even go to Antarctica. Why? You can, I think. No, you can't. You can book a cruise for 2024 that you're going to get refunded for. Wait, did y'all see the Titanic 2? The Titanic 2? Yeah, we've talked about this.
Starting point is 00:54:39 Would you go on the Titanic 2? It's an exact replica of the Titanic. Would you go on that? Nope. It's going to be an exact replica of how it's so... Exactly. Y'all. No, thanks.
Starting point is 00:54:51 I don't want to relive that. But I can swim so I think I can redo it. You can't use... Can I... Can I lay on top of you while you swim? No. If that's the case, I'll go. Okay, time out.
Starting point is 00:55:00 Back to Antarctica. What do you... I thought you can go. Like, certain... You can go to certain parts of it. You're thinking of Alaska. You're thinking of Alaska. No, bitch.
Starting point is 00:55:08 I'm thinking of Antarctica. She's thinking of Alaska. She's thinking of Alaska. Look it up. Google, can you fly to Antarctica? You cannot go to Antarctica. And I'm not even looking it up. Yes, you can.
Starting point is 00:55:17 I've seen it somewhere, bitch. I'm telling you. It's not real. Okay. It's not real. It's not real. I can't take it. I'm telling you,
Starting point is 00:55:25 I think when you get here, I won't look it up. I'll do it. I'm saying it's not real. I think when you go to Antarctica... They're gonna tell you yes. Because you can book a cruise. But the cruises are all to be determined.
Starting point is 00:55:33 It's crazy. And they're all hell of expensive. You have to be the elite of the elite to even afford a room on the cruise ship. Just ignore Kale and don't even... It says yes. There are fly cruise trips to Antarctica where you can take a flight to Frey Station.
Starting point is 00:55:44 That place probably doesn't even exist though. And it's probably just a scam. I need to see Antarctica on a map. Well, we're not doing that right now. Okay, that's why you're not looking at it on the map right now All right, just there's some secrets over there There's some secrets that they don't want us to know where else ways they're a whole part of the world that we can't go to Because it's too cold. No, that's my choice. That's my choice There's not like civilization there you're telling me if we showed up to Antarctica, we would just like literally freeze our tits off
Starting point is 00:56:14 Correct. I don't think so. So then how come there in Antarctica? Look, I remain in Antarctica doing whatever they're doing Hmm to be continued. Yeah What are your most important rules when going on a date with your man? Oh That's a good one. That is a good one. My most important rule is to look good and smell good Okay, and what about phones? Do you have a phone thing? Like does that bother you? Mm-hmm as long I don't care if you're on your phone as long as you're like I'm not talking to you and you're like There are moments where we're probably like both on our phones or showing each other stuff But I don't mind it so long as you're not like negligent. Yeah, I agree like we have this conversation last night
Starting point is 00:56:52 I'll be on my phone and fully participating in a conversation do that But she can't do that right so I know when I see her on her phone. She's don't even approach her Yeah, that kind of person she'll you'll talk and then she'll be like, huh? She can't do both. Yeah, if you can't do both then don't because I feel like you're at dinner with somebody It's rude to ignore that. Yeah, you can multitask and it's not a problem. I don't mind it. Yeah, I agree Yeah, I feel like for me It's an OCD thing. I think I
Starting point is 00:57:18 mean not an OCD thing. What is it like a? ADHD ADHD thing. Yeah Yeah, it's like too much going on. I also have OCD, but um, yeah, I can't I can't do I can't do both at the same time So yes, that would be disrespectful, but I still do it. Oh, yeah, I read my mom does too I think that's a common problem Um What is one thing that you feel like you're interested in that most people wouldn't be Hmm
Starting point is 00:57:51 I'm really into like greek mythology and I feel like Maybe some people would be but I feel like it's something that people don't know about me Like I'm really into that kind of stuff. Yeah, that's cool Really like I really and like I have the whole siren thing people don't people think siren is my last name. It's not Oh, oh, so my last name is jones siren. If you look at greek mythology Siren is like this beautiful mermaid that lures the men in the ocean. Yeah, I know They eat them and they kill them and in my younger days. I felt like that was me I feel like you did that to bar. Yeah with the girl. Mm-hmm. Yeah
Starting point is 00:58:24 I love you And now you're mine and I may eat you and kill you or I may keep you captive and have a daughter with you It's fine So I got it. What what what better way to accept who I am I love that. I really thought this was your last name the entire time. I wrote it. Ashley siren. No, that's amazing Siren people think that your last name is siren. And then I was how do you pronounce it? Yeah, because I was like, is it siren or siren? Mm-hmm. It's not even it's jones You pronounce s i r e n it's pronounced jones. Yes, it's pronounced
Starting point is 00:58:58 That's amazing. I really thought that that was her last name. I literally wrote it. Everyone does. Yeah. Yeah No, it's a much deeper meaning That's amazing Yeah, that's Very interesting Well, kales into the zodiac. I'm really into zodiac and like numerology. I do like Greek mythology, but I Don't read into it as much as I read into with like astrology. Okay, so and she's like into What is the other thing that you numerology numerology and
Starting point is 00:59:30 We couldn't even count the other day. So I don't even know how she's into that We were like trying to add up the numbers. Yeah, we determined that you're an eight. Yeah, but that could be wrong Because we could have found it wrong. I'm not really good with math. Yeah, it's it's in progress. Yeah. Yeah I'm working on strengthening that. Okay. Okay. Yes. Correct. Yes. Everything takes time What's the hardest that you have ever worked would that be stripping? Or was that not really hard? I was born with that skill Born with that skill
Starting point is 01:00:00 That was even I think the hardest I've ever worked is working now like Being back balancing mom in school Like this is my first time being back in school since I had my kids so like right now I've like been even neglecting bar because I really only see him in passing When we exchange the kid. You know what I'm saying? So do you all not live together? We don't live together right now Oh I moved back in with my mom
Starting point is 01:00:22 And he moved in with his family Because we just needed time apart Time apart and separate support like yeah, so that's why he got his pictures deleted off instagram Wow, I didn't know that after that. So do you guys have um plans to get move back in together? We do We do but I feel like Right now we just Well, I'll speak for myself right now I just really want to focus on what I'm doing so that when I move back in like I can really add something
Starting point is 01:00:50 So you guys are co-parenting while you're together. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Okay. I've definitely been in that situation, but I You mean chris were like that. I mean chris were you that said that I was talking to somebody I can't remember who it was that said that They don't know if they they've been by themselves for me so long that they don't know if they could like Co exist with another adult like in the same house With chris, I know that I could live with him again But I do get frustrated when we were together and we didn't live together and we have a son I'm like, what are we gonna fucking do? We're gonna do this for the rest of our lives is fucking live separate and co-parent
Starting point is 01:01:28 Like he's like, this is not this isn't a traditional family. I'm like, I understand that But I don't want to be together and raise our son separate that doesn't even make any type of sense Right, but that was us when we don't we didn't have a goal to like move in together and like progress the relationship And I feel like if you have a goal and you guys are gonna get married, you know By next year, it's okay to kind of take that time apart Especially with the fact that you guys are gonna get married next year and I've been with bar for years Right, you know, like I've been with him for so long. We we helped each other raise each other Right. Yeah, and it's like sometimes I feel like you can get so caught up in that
Starting point is 01:02:01 But it's also good to get lost in the have personal goals and personal accomplishments And so that was really the reason because I just felt like we were so caught up in our little world That there were so many other things going on that we weren't taking care of So does it ever does it ever cross your mind that you guys would grow apart and not? It does okay because that can that can happen to anybody I don't want to be dumb thinking that that's not a possibility because it is but I do say that like We were friends long before we were anything else. And so I really care about him on a different level than like Like my boyfriend like I care about him as a friend. Yeah, so I feel like if we grow apart maybe like
Starting point is 01:02:41 In a relationship way, I feel like he would always be a very dear friend to me That's easy to say now and I might be bitter baby mama club I've been there and I might be here saying a whole bunch of different words. Yes, you know If that's the case that might be a different interview, right? That might be that might be for the windy william show Really be acting crazy, but I I feel like I do worry about it, but then it's like if that's gonna happen, it's gonna happen I can do right to it's kind of like the cheating thing we talked about. Yeah, it's gonna happen It's gonna happen and you can only just so what does the custody look like right now for you guys?
Starting point is 01:03:15 If since you guys are parenting kind of separately do you guys have like a schedule? Or is it kind of just like whenever I need you we pick up the others? You know not lack, but you know what I mean we split the week. Okay. We just split the week So he gets sunday monday tuesday. I get wednesday thursday friday. We usually together saturday and sunday. Oh, okay Well, that's kind of nice. Okay. We just split it and sometimes if I need more help He'll help or if he needs more help, you know, yeah, we adjust it as it goes, but usually we just split the week Okay, and then you guys are together like two or three days out of the week. Okay. Well, that's good I mean that's nice. I'm totally for like whatever works for you works for you
Starting point is 01:03:52 And it might not sound traditional to somebody else or it might sound dysfunctional to somebody else But if it's working for you, then it's working for you Well, and also it's probably nice to like be with your family and save money because obviously after you Do get married and move back in together. You may want to like buy a house or like get in You know what I mean? So it'll be kind of nice like save money while you're living with family And it's not cheap. I live in California. It's $1,800 for a little studio. No, see that's more than my mortgage for a five-bedroom house Yeah, yeah, so that's crazy. It's for a little studio. Probably like we're talking like 600 square feet. You're paying $1,800 No, yeah, and you probably don't even have a kitchen. You probably just have like
Starting point is 01:04:29 Your kitchen and your own hot plate and you're probably sharing a bathroom. No, so yeah In a dorm style like yeah, so it's not it's not cheap, right? Yeah, I live and it's like I do have family that will help and while I'm young I feel like I need to use that Yeah, and appreciate the fact that my mom is willing and his family is willing to let us kind of like, you know Live there and get our stuff together so that when we do move out, we don't have to go back Yeah, right. I agree with that. Like I want to leave and I want to leave knowing that it like especially because I have a kid I don't want to bounce around. I want to get somewhere and I want her to feel like she has a home Like have roots somewhere. Yeah, yeah
Starting point is 01:05:02 My grandparents have lived in the same house for as long as I can remember And I can go back and my room is still pink with ugly hearts and stars and my initials that I hand painted on the wall Right and it's home to me. You know what I'm saying? And that's a good feeling to that. That's my safe place Yeah, and I want her to have that. Yeah, and it takes Work it's not as easy as people think like I didn't get on a tv show and I'm not rolling in money Right. Yeah, maybe if I showed my ass, I would be. Would you ever go back to stripping? Hell no No, absolutely not only because I can't accept that from my daughter Right, and I don't want to set an example that I wouldn't I can't explain that and I can't that was a time where you
Starting point is 01:05:39 Did what you had to do at the time, but we're in a new place and I didn't have any consequences. I didn't have any when I answered to you know, I didn't have any really real direction I was just doing whatever I wanted to do right now that I do know that I have a daughter I would never because I would never want her to look at me It's like there's so many other things that you can make money. Your brain is a terrible thing to waste and your body Will not look how it will look in a couple years So girl do not think you're going to be a stripper for the rest of your life because once that drop once this drops
Starting point is 01:06:06 You're gonna be paying a lot of money to get and put it back up. Are you gonna be broke? That's it. Just like that Oh my god, yeah, it's not a forever career. And when I was working there, there were some 50 year old strippers. Really? Yeah, there was plenty of them that were old and I was just thinking like you don't want that to be you Like you're probably someone's grandma. Right. Yeah, not not no shade because girl if you got it, you got it Or if you need to do it, you need to do it. Yeah, but but you're but the but to think that you're probably Need to be at home nurturing your grandkids or whatever and you're here and it's it's almost hurtful Yeah, you know because empathize and a lot of strippers don't stack like they get a lot of money And then you want to get Gucci and Louis and Fendi and all this stuff, but it's like what good is I've taken the bus
Starting point is 01:06:48 What good is Gucci if you're on the bus? So a lot of people get caught up in the lifestyle and they get off the game and they're still broke Yeah, and they have to strip you know what I'm saying. So it's just you you give more than you get you give yourself And you get you may get a couple dollars. I still may take the pole dancing class just for my own personal In case she wants to just FaceTime me girl. I'll give you some deets I'm gonna FaceTime actually like how do I do this? I got you like on the pole upside down And then it just snaps off the ceiling. It's fine. Oh my gosh. It's fine. Thank you so much for coming on. We really appreciate it Thank you for having me.
