It's not helpful and So here I am working from home and Lux is in the office with me last week I had the dog in here with me. Yes, definitely everybody can send her positive thoughts and Prayers if they pray and we are you know with her so But what's up like how's life? Well, um, let me tell you what I did this weekend. I Didn't I don't remember agreeing to this but evidently I did I went fishing for the first time

You went fishing I did I wind no and Like I don't even remember doing like saying I would do this like I literally went with boyfriend We were going I don't even know where we're going to the store and stuff and then he was like and you want to go fishing, right? And I looked at him and I was like Yeah, I'm like, oh no But the way that he said it was like as if I asked or like agreed to it before he's like and you want to go fishing, right? And I was like Yeah, sure. So I'm mortified because this man

Ripped a worm in half and put it on the hook. No, no, do you hear my son's commentary in the back? Did you throw up he ripped it in half? Well, I wanted to throw up and I Because he was like you put it on the hook or whatever But like I guess like if you put the whole worm on it's kind of like a waste. So he like ripped it in half and I was Needless to say Lux clearly was not going fishing And so I ended up catching three fish and he caught zero So I was like, I'm sorry about your luck. Like I know that you suck at fishing But like I'm basically a pro now. So I never have to do this again. You're gonna have to go into like this

Lux said mom's good at fishing. So we love the Lux commentary. Remember when you said last week that you're talentless Remember on Barely Famous you were telling Nick Viall that you are talentless, but now you're not you have talent for fishing Like isn't there like a a fishing show on like TV? I don't know. I don't think so I don't think he remember like how Lindsay would talk about like will like creeping. Yeah No, I don't think he does. I think suburban dad also listens, oh Okay, maybe they do it like suburban dad. Yeah, maybe they do it to like find

Out more info that they feel like you're not sharing with them at home Yeah, I mean, there's not much that I I'm an open book at this point Like I have told the world that I shit my pants. So there's nothing There are no secrets with me anymore I mean, I guess it's fair because like who gave birth on National television so might as well tell them everything, right? So I just literally can't so I'm trying Oh My life is a mess

Luxon and creator not in school the big two still have like two weeks of school left And so we're just trying to get through these last two weeks He's glad he doesn't have school today, so And Yes, they do he is telling all the secrets right now They were at school, they didn't want to go to school. What did you say earlier about them? You said they drive you crazy And they're all nuts

Lux is smelling the tea today So how did everyone wanted me to ask you how does like what does the summer schedule look like? compared to like in school schedule The older boys their custody stays the same all year long and then the younger two this will be the first year That they I love that picture Lux. Thank you. It looks just like him Yep, great job The The younger two will start going

This summer I think next week they're gonna start going 50-50 just for the summer and that was ordered Last year, right? So I saw someone on my Instagram was like is it true that because you have a new boyfriend You're sending them to their dad's 50-50 and it's like well Yes, and no, it's not because of the new boyfriend, but yes I am sending them 50-50 because that's what the judge ordered last year Yeah, you definitely knew last year you were gonna be in a relationship in June of 20 22 yeah, yeah, and that was obviously really really devastating to me after

everything that happened in 2019 and like, you know him going to jail and this that in the third and so it's not like I just like willingly Right gave it up and it has nothing to do with boyfriend So yeah, that's that's the schedule and Then Lux will go to kindergarten at the end of Well, I guess in the fall. Yeah, no, that's exciting I think they wanted to know to like What do you do in the summer?

Like how does your schedule change in the summer with having all the kids home like what do they do? What do you do? I think the kids will so they're not they don't go to like Take care or anything in the summer or preschool or anything like that So they'll be home with me every other week and then I'll still do like my work stuff podcasts Whatever I have to do for work and Natalie will help me obviously during that time And then on the weeks that they're with their dads I'll still do my work stuff and then probably if I'm being honest. I'll probably sleep a lot Just because I am I think the depression has me sleeping a lot

and so This is the first year that my kids are gonna be like all my kids are gonna be 50 50 the first summer I know it's been a long time. So I just I'm nervous. I don't know how I'm gonna feel I'm not really sure what to do with my time because you know all year all school year luck says Lux and Creed have gone the weekends when With the older kids when they're with their dad so then the younger two would go with Chris And so this will be the first time. I'm just what am I gonna do with my time? I mean, you could find a new hobby. You'll trust me. I know you you're gonna fill your time

I'll probably get a text at 9 p.m. That would be fun. You did that last summer. I liked it I loved you hear Lux. He said I want to go kayaking Get a free ride he literally Bungie him to mine or bones and then he just gets a free ride. He doesn't have to paddle What are you doing this summer me? Oh, okay working all the time and I'm sure you'll you'll come up with some some other plan of something that you want to like add to your repertoire of stuff We talked about it this morning. I want to start a lifestyle brand. Yes, which I think would be really really cool I think it'd be really good for you. We should have we should have people send in like what they want to see for me

Lux like what they want you to do next. Oh, that would be nice I always wanted to do a fragrance and everyone was like Mmm, not everyone Alexa and Kristen were like kale no one to ask you for a fragrance But they've asked me what my favorite fragrances are and so I feel like That could be a good option. We'll pull it right now. Do you want to smell like kale? Yes, or no, we'll call it kale. Ask Oh my god, that's so cute. That is so cute I don't know what kind of Tournaments and stuff hobby has up his sleeve in this year, but I'm not I'm fully not prepared some sometimes

I don't know where like does he just spend all of his free time googling like Tournaments and stuff because I don't know where he finds them Yeah, the amount of emails that I see come through from Jose about like oh, I'm gonna do this Oh Lincoln's gonna do these 17 things and I'm just like I don't know how you do this Like I just it's a lot. I oh my god yesterday last night I was like getting the kids ready for better, but I was like Lux He was feeding me and I was like Lux are you gonna take care of me when I'm old and he was like Yeah, and I was like, oh, you're gonna wipe my butt and he's like no

He's like I'll just feed you so it's like oh Lincoln. Are you gonna wipe my butt when I'm old and he was like No, but I'll buy you things when I'm in the NBA So you're gonna get a little bit of everything. Well, who's gonna Have but I'm gonna have diaper rash so yikes So, yeah, I mean perks of having children yeah, we were talking about that actually a lot and We're just gonna set like the whole situation of who decides like in a relationship marriage, whatever who decides when you're done having kids Yeah, I still I'm still so torn. I'm still so torn so I'm gonna give the scenario so a friend of mine wants another baby and

her Significant other does not want another baby for reasons like, you know financial reasons and stress and just logistics and whatever and She feels like well, I'm the one who's like the not preferred parent, but the what is the word like main parent? Well, she's the one that's doing default most of the But the default parent with children responsibilities and things like that. Yes So like default parents, which is like so why shouldn't I get to decide and I it's so crazy because it's one of those situations Where both sides are not wrong like both feelings both sides are not wrong They're both valid in the fact that like one wants kids and they can't understand why the other doesn't and the other one doesn't

Want more and can't understand why the other one wants more and nobody's Clarified that they already have three. Yes, they do already have three. So I feel like this is actually I've this is not the first time I've heard about this argument of like when do you? Decide you're done. If like one other if somebody wants more. I actually had a Military friend like years ago who is in the same situation where she wanted a third and her husband didn't And you know, ultimately they decided not to because they you know Decided they are thankful for their two healthy boys and you know, whatever whatever but for me I also see both sides. However, I do think that if she is the one that's doing all the work

With the kids one. That's actually not fair to the children You know, they do need their dad and they he needs to step up Obviously, I don't know this couple and I don't know their situation, but just like from an outsider from what I'm hearing He needs to step up with when it comes to the kids and to You know, is she complaining and nagging him even though she is the one doing all the work? Because if it was if it was me, I'm not gonna give you a child so then you can continue to nag and bitch at me You know what I mean? And I'm already stressed out from work and I'm working overtime and I'm trying to meet financial needs and you know

This that in the third. So I think it's almost just one of those things where it's you You have three kids, you know It's it's so hard because I think like I'm so used to being asked questions when somebody is blatantly, right? And someone's blatantly wrong and I'm like nobody's wrong here Like there's no wrong side you either like one once more one doesn't and like there's no It's just it's hard. It's kind of like, you know, she's like said the whole time I have said from the beginning that I wanted four kids. So it's not like this is like a shocker It's not like it's okay

But like, you know life happens and things like inflation happens and financial situations change and You know all all the things that go into it not just the parenting responsibilities But just the world in general still changes around you and I feel like No, it's it's hard I don't I feel like it's equally as hard to talk about like Have starting to have any when that's a good time and also when to stop like but I don't think people talk about the when to stop part I've always heard that when you know, your family is complete. You just know And I also have a friend. Well, I consider them family

Who they had five kids they planned their sixth one and then they knew in their heart that that was it for them And so, you know, but they also have like the means and the support and all of that to have that family and they both were okay with it And so I don't know I just I feel like if you're in a position where you're disagreeing on another child that already in and of itself is a red flag So like maybe don't have it right now. Like maybe It's not a good time. Like what are you gonna do? You're gonna try to make him give you a fourth one, you know I don't know her like I said, I don't know so I'm I'm just saying I like I have another friend who had two kids this was years ago

and she wanted a third her husband did not and They ended up having a third and he was not thrilled but now he you know, they're happy and content and whatever But I mean, I think that could make her break a marriage as well because Yeah, I mean rounds for divorce like is that is disagreeing on when to stop Something that would be an appropriate time to discuss possibly divorcing depending how important it is to either, you know Have more or stop having more So I do think that it can be a deal-breaker for some I think that

There are some people that you know are really dead set Maybe if she is dead set on having a fourth child and he is dead set on being done That's something that they have to decide like is this a deal-breaker now I started doing, you know, I went through the fertility stuff and then I did a genetic Testing to find out like if I have any what is it called christen like genetic like your genetic carrier for anything? Yes, and I previously had never had this done before for any of my kids And I don't know why I don't know if it just like is new if it wasn't offered. I don't really know And it came back that I am a carrier for

spinal muscular atrophy And so I told boyfriend This and you know, he doesn't have any kids of his own So in the event that we wanted to start planning a family He needed to be tested for this because it would be a one in four chance if he does also have that You know, there's a 25% chance that our child would have that and then I told him, you know, that would be a You have to think long and hard about whether or not this would be a deal-breaker for you because I'm not really willing to have children With someone who also has this marker or what is it a marker? I think it would be like a genetic marker

Or like a gene or something and I told him I was like you're one you're young too. You don't have any I don't know Lux do you come here real quick? Do you think that I should have more children? Uh, no, I just think that you should just have me What about your brothers that are already here And Creed I don't think because he's a baby alligator Okay, he's a baby alligator. He is a baby alligator. So so you don't want me to have any more babies I do but I just want you to have me and I can like it would not

Creed why cuz Creed's a baby. I'll look bigger and then I can only have cream Oh, cuz what happens to me when I try to change his diaper? Thank you Anyway, so I was telling him like that might be a deal-breaker for you, you know, if we can't have kids together You know, you should really think about that, you know, and so I wouldn't want to hold him back from that and so the same for your friends that are in the situation is like If she is absolutely dead set on but to me looking on it looking obviously It's hard because I'm not in those shoes. However

Would I want to end my marriage because I already have three beautiful children with this person? Do I want to end my marriage over a possible fourth? I don't think that for me I don't think that I would do right and it well, it's interesting to me that The part because I had said like well What if you do it and like you make that decision for your family or whatever and he resents? You for do it like having another one or resents the child or both? And she was in the position where she does not believe that people ever resent or regret having kids and I I'm in the part where I see the things that you know

people submit like their deepest darkest secrets to the podcasts and No, there's definitely people out there who regret having kids or having another or having you know A fourth a fifth whatever and resent their partners for it and like that is very real and it's kind of scary because it's like I feel like resentment is one of those things where you could go so long With like this underlying resentment that all of a sudden just shows up one day And it's like that in and of itself can just wreck a very healthy relationship And you would never know like people are good at hiding resentment and First of all, I have been one of the people who was ignorant and naive and thought you'll never regret having a child

You'll never regret having another child. You'll you'll you'll maybe regret not having one or not having one more and then after I had creed and And And lungs know after I had creed and I started seeing more I don't know if my eyes were opened or if I just The naiveness went away. I don't really know but I started also seeing more posts about it People are talking about it. People are resentful. They do regret having children and that is a very real thing Sorry guys

That is a very real thing And I just don't know like I feel like at that point you have to choose between your marriage and you know Having another child and then at that point you're now breaking up a family, you know seemingly happy family with three kids and a husband to then divorcing and then potentially moving on to somebody else, which is that dynamic look like and I Should have a husband. What about a wife? Okay, yeah, he's just telling you you need somebody he's like

So I don't know that's such a tough one and I would love to hear from my from our listeners like Have you guys ever been in a position where you one of you wanted more and the other one didn't and was there resentment? Has anyone anonymously regretted that having children at all and and like how do you just decide? Like how do you who wins? How do you decide? Like if you have more or if you stop and dealing with the resentment that may follow and yeah I want to know all like everyone's thoughts because I'm genuinely like Whoa, like I feel complete with my four kids I genuinely feel complete and so when people ask me would I have another one?

And it's like yeah, I mean if I'm with someone that doesn't have children of their own, I would highly consider it I would definitely You know go through I don't want to say pros and cons, but I would definitely look at the bigger picture and Decide from there For me, it's not a deal-breaker if someone doesn't want to have kids I would be fine with it If someone does want to have kids I would also be fine with it I'm getting Lux's making pictures of Michael Jackson for me. You did a great job. Oh Man, so it's it's hard because I only can speak on what I know

and You know, I think on baby mamas. We've talked about you know V having kids with Joe and you know, I Think at one point on an episode. I'm not saying I'm not spilling tea. That's not known on one episode V was talking about how Joe wanted to have maybe would have another one, but she didn't she didn't really want another one And so that didn't make her break them. You know what I mean, right, right? So yeah, I would love to hear from y'all. I mean, yes, I definitely am glad that you are Moved moved on I would say at this point the news just came out, but this decision was made months ago Um, I think that it's time for you to move on to your next chapter. I think that It definitely was not aligning with what you're building and what you're trying to do anymore The the show is definitely taking a turn and changed From what it originally was and I just think you know let let the younger girls That are on it have their time and have their own experience and see what they can build from it, right? I agree. I think that

for I guess how Three three out of five of us are more new than the other girls And so I definitely think that like I know Ashley is building a great brand and she has her studio and her podcast and things like that And so I just want to see you know the girls thrive and succeed and you know build their build their brand and their empire from it like I was able to and I'm just ready for the next chapter whether that includes another you know reality show or not. I would be fine Either way, I think too. I've had a unique view You have had a unique view. I've had definitely a unique view for the last. I mean Lincoln is eight

Mm-hmm. So we became friends when you were about to blow with him It's Very very different than what most of the public gets to see so like a lot of the ins and outs of what goes on just in that industry I've been privy to and it's just not a print. It's not a pretty job like I would never I would never do it It's also hard because I think throughout the years. It also changed Yeah, definitely changed from its original Like what it was supposed to be to now which makes sense. You're all getting older and stuff like that but the drama that has ensued and what is what they choose to follow for who verse what they choose to follow for someone else is very

They paint they paint their picture behind the scenes of what you're going to be for that show at this point Right, right and it's not always not saying like that. It's totally fabricated But it's just not you have to show the whole picture and you can't in two minutes Right. And so that was my I guess that was my one of my biggest Um, what is the word I'm looking for the biggest issues that I was having was like, I'm not going to discuss something so heavy um For it to be

Minimized to 40 seconds or a minute Um, and that was why I was giving such um, what is word I was giving such Like resistance to filming certain things because I knew that just like my graduation for example I mean to me that was a pivotal pivotal moment in my life and for the franchise and for it to be minimized for less than two minutes of the entire 13 years that I've been filming Um, you know that really hurt that was a huge accomplishment and um, I didn't get any I didn't get recognition for it pretty much at all Um, and so things like you know what happened to me in october of 2019

I was trying to figure out a way to discuss it and I knew that if I talked about it It would be edited down even further and so for me it was just like I can't talk about all of these things and then you minimize them So for me that was part of it. And so I know a lot of people were like, oh she she should get off the show she doesn't want to film anymore And there's just so much more to it. And um, that's why I kept saying on the reunion, which I think they edited it out I never got to see the full thing was um, you know, if you want to give me my own show I would be more than willing to share these things because I would have more time

Right because it just um, and if I remember correctly how the graduation episode went down I think they showed the ceremony really quick and then I believe they did like a follow-up scene about like Didn't they have somebody asked you if like Somebody was there if chris was there or if you were upset about chris not being there or something like that Yeah, so it's just like the follow-ups that they also add in which you understand being In this world for so long that they they do have a tv show to make but that doesn't mean that it aligns with If your life and like the story your actual story and what you want people to know you From and know you as

Well, and that was that was the thing. It's like, okay. My graduation can't even be about anything but him you know what I mean, and so I just I understand more than anyone especially for going to school for this is like, I know they have a job to do I know that I signed up to be on a tv show But if I had known that it was going to be edited down to 30 seconds an episode a minute an episode I don't know that I would you know, I didn't know that ahead of time and and secondly it's just like I'm down to work with them and I had told them that so much

I'm down to give you what you guys want But let me show this too. Let me show the good the stuff that I'm you know doing with my kids there's so much that we could show I don't know why it was and I know and I'm aware that I have three baby dads like that's not But for us to continue to talk about it for five years Nothing has changed and they would have me open the season with The custody agreement and it's like You're being really loud looks

Um, I don't remember what I was saying. Um, the the custody agreement which I I agree with and I think that you have been at like You have always asked your kids like do you want to film? Do you not you never forced them to film? Um, which I really like I think You have been more protective Given the differences between your younger two and your older two's custody and what the situation is with their dads Because you don't want the younger two to grow up and feel like They were less than Right because they didn't get the same experience with their dad that your other two got with theirs

So like having to keep harping on the fact that Yeah, your younger two don't see chris as much. Yeah, you're younger two and there's reasons for that That also were not covered on the show. You have never spoken about them. Right They still happen behind the scenes and people base their opinion on you off of Two minutes Out of an episode and it's like, okay, you're a bitter baby mom. Was there a point where you were? Absolutely. Yeah, sure But it's you're being put in this box

And I think that it was just time for you to get out of the box because And I I also think that people don't know that the the narration that we're doing that each of us are doing Those are written for us. We don't get to pick what is written And so when I'm constantly having to remind our viewers what the custody agreement is and I'm constantly having what's written for me Is about my baby dads. I do not want to talk about them. That's not all I have going on Um, and there's just so much more that I was wanting to film and we would have meetings about what do you have going on in your life? What are you willing to film and what I felt like I was Offering very cool stuff. My egg retrieval process that I um, I took a break from doing that

Obviously I stopped doing that because it was a lot for me at the time. Um, but like egg retrieval process There were plenty of things that I talked about and I would have loved to cover, you know The book the book writing process for what happened in october of 2019 Um, because that's really heavy stuff. I would have you know, but They are only able to do what makes sense to the viewers in a way that makes sense for the viewers um, and so I don't think that people know that there's someone literally writing a storyline for you either And it's not that it's fake. It's not fake. It's not a fake show. It's just what's going on in your life

That they think is interesting. They think is interesting and they think makes sense But obviously that includes missing huge parts of the story. Um, and I just And you're not the only one that has talked about this. I know ashley just talked about The fact that didn't they not cover her studio opening Yeah, they she opened a business and they didn't cover it and I just feel like First of all for a young black woman to open a business is Why are you not highlighting that y'all should be fucking promoting the fuck out of that for her like in my opinion?

No, I So I just I'm proud of her. I I just feel like that was such a Such a smack in the face, you know, we are exploiting our lives We are exploiting our children's lives. So the least you could do is at least I mean and she said like tons of people showed up for her and her family and her friends and stuff so Why Not

It just doesn't fit into They put like I said, they put you guys all in boxes for the season and they keep it. That's that's what you get to work with so Teen pregnancy has proven to have declined since the start of the show um And so for those people who are teen parents or have become teen parents since then Why not highlight these things to show that it can be possible? I could have taken the show and the income and you know

The instagram following and just ran with it and basically milked it until it went dry But instead I set myself up with a degree and a business and things like that So why are we not highlighting that that is people want to see one a redemption moment people want to see The underdog come out on top, you know things like that and and and it's relatable like me taking my kids to school was not shown as much as I feel like it should have been and um, I don't know. So every single person I would say I'm now I'm following 232 people I was following like 700 or 800 people Every almost every single person I know them in real life

So out of the 232 and most of like I'm interacting with these people's content Does that make sense? Like I'm not following anyone who I wouldn't like their posts or I wouldn't comment on their stuff Oh, that's me. So a few months ago I have awful constipation like the absolute worst I had my dad take me to the ER which is awkward because I'm 22 Poor guy has been so scared. He's my only active parent. So he's been through it all with me So they give me medicine and send me home I get home and have the urge to go sit on the toilet 10 minutes or so and nothing Not even a rabbit turn I stand up and I shit what I stand up and shit literally flung everywhere All over the walls down into the down into the trimming So at midnight I'm literally sitting in the bathroom shit all over needing help and too embarrassed to ask for help So I clean myself up. I go ask my dad for a tool to pull away the trimming and grab things to clean up

Later he learns the story dies laughing. It's one of the favorite shit stories in my family now today I get my seven year old nephew and take him to dinner. Please tell me why this kid asked me if poop medicine is real and why I took it And pooped all over his papa's walls. I literally started uncontrollably laughing because I'm embarrassed and he keeps saying remember Remember that time you pooped everywhere lesson learned never ask for help Oh my god. Oh no. I literally resonate with that so hard because like what are you supposed to do I literally took a modium on Saturday Whenever boyfriend wanted to go do stuff because I was like if we go somewhere and I have to like get food and whatever So I took a modium and I understand that struggle and like every day when I would do something my kids would be like Like if boyfriend asked me like oh are you hungry or whatever and I'll be like no and the kids would be like why cuz you'll poop your pants

My kids never let me live it down. Once they were down I still blew that bathroom up then I went very peacefully walked back into the parking garage To find my boyfriend in this truck We then continued to wait 30 minutes to get out of the garage to this day I'll forever be thankful to the person who broke into the staff bathroom entrance That's a real one right there It was me I was yes I'm doing the legwork for every person with IBS ever I think I'm gonna get like a porta potty for my bath for my car Like a squatty potty for the car
