That's Billion with a B. Head over to Booking.com and start your listing today. Get seen. Get booked on booking.com. I hate gift giving and receiving. Receiving gifts is so weird. What do you say thank you? This is Coffee Convos with Cale Lowry and Lindsay Crissley. I really want you to be in your feels, Cale. That does not interest me whatsoever. I feel very attacked. by you a spirited discussion about motherhood, friendship, family, and life in the public eye. I'm just not with the fakery anymore. There's a fakery bakery around here. Here's Kail and Lindsay. Hello, Lindsay. Good morning and welcome to Coffee Compos podcast. I am crashing out. I'm also crashing out. And so much so that I'm wearing a hoodie. You guys know
Starting point is 00:00:54 I don't wear hoodies. I haven't worn hoodies in years, but Coffee Combo's merch came in. I didn't get my crew neck in yet, so I decided to put the hoodie on. So wait, are you just like completely against hoodies for some reason that we're unaware? Oh my God. No, I just don't like, like I used to wear them so much. I think I just got worn out of them. And now I'm a crewneck girlie, but I mean, this one is cute, so it's fine. I love a good hoodie and I love a good crew neck.
Starting point is 00:01:22 But if I was going to choose crew neck or hoodie, then I'm going crew neck all day. Yeah, same. I did try to find the bass pro shirt. shop crew neck that you have. I did try to find that at Cabellas the other day, but they didn't have it. I'm so sorry. Only the exclusive can get that one. Only the elite. Wait, I have to tell you so. I went to Walmart over the weekend. I really rarely ever go to Walmart. And I was talking about candles on here not too long ago. And people were like, Lindsay, we cannot find the candle that you're talking about. I think it's like a seasonal one at Bath and Body Works. Of course, I would love a seasonal
Starting point is 00:01:57 candle. But I found one from that like mainstays brand and it's called Starlit Skies. Okay. Run. Run. Just just one word. Run. It is black and it has bats like all over the outside. I think it might be a scent that they do all the time, but it's like seasonally packaged. Okay. Very cheap, very inexpensive. I was worried about it not like really carrying smell. Because if you've got a cheap candle and you have a,
Starting point is 00:02:27 light it and you like keep waiting for your house to smell good and then it never does yeah that's happened yeah i was like okay well since his candle was like 598 or something i think is what it was i was like it's probably just like not going to work no i'm running back to walmart oh well that's good to know i have been and i've been talking about it a little bit sort of across my platforms um social media included trying not to do delivery services so that i could avoid the delivery fees and the tip fees. Like, obviously I tip. And so I will be stopping at Walmart if I have time today. I also, I feel like mental health. This is going to be maybe like a weird take. My mental health plays into whether or not I'm getting out of the car to go into a store. That is absolutely so
Starting point is 00:03:13 true. Mental health for me right now and the absolute shitter. So I did not leave my house. Like I went and ran a couple of errand yesterday and I came home. I was home by. I was home by by like one o'clock yesterday, did not leave my bedroom until this morning. And so, like, if you're not feeling it, are you going to go run errands and physically get out of your car and go into stores and then get back? Because I think for so long, it was like I wasn't doing it for depression reasons. And then I got my mental health back in order and I still wasn't doing it because I was so used to it.
Starting point is 00:03:47 But then now, like, it doesn't even bother me to run into a store right now. So yesterday, I went to Pilates and the last night. the morning after I dropped Jackson off at school and then went to the wash. We went to a drive through like safari over the weekend. And so there was feed like all over my Bronco. So I just knew I could not drive. I don't know about you, but like if I'm in a stressed place, I need all of my like spaces clean. That's OCD. Like I cannot function without it being clean. So the car wash was more like a necessity than an errand i feel like um so i went and did that and then immediately came home did not leave my room um i was watching a netflix show i think it's like a limited series
Starting point is 00:04:37 it's called behind her eyes oh i saw it i watched it did you like it yeah it was really good it's based on a book uh oh it is yeah see i wouldn't know that um i thought that it was a really good show, but you really have to like watch that show for like all the details to understand actually what's going on. Yes, 100%. So I finished watching that. And then I was like, okay, well, I've now finished two books in the past like two and a half weeks. So I'm going to start another book. So I started just for the summer. Yes, by Avi Hibenez. Yeah. And I am like 200 pages in. Oh, good. because the book club girlies are asking if you were reading Abby. And I was like, yeah, I think she is.
Starting point is 00:05:23 So this will be my third Abby book. Which one? Okay, so you read part of your world. Yep. Did you read yours truly? And then I read yours truly and now I'm reading just for the summer. Oh, my God. That completes like the interconnected series.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Yeah. So that's what the internet told me that that's the order to read them in. And that's what you said to read them in. So doing that, I should be done by the end of this week with that so I can probably, like, talk to the turtles soon. Yes, thank God, because they're waiting for it. But there is another book that I saw pop up on Kindle, and it said it was released in 2025. By Abby Jimenez. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Oh, let me look. I think she just came out with one or she's about to come out with one. Hold on. I think it's, does it have fireworks on the cover? Um, let's see. It is called. Oh, say you'll remember me. Say you'll remember me. Yeah. That one's so good. You'll cry. You'll fucking cry your eyes up. But like in a good way. That one's so, so, so good. Every single Abby Jimenez book that you read, the next one will be so much. It's like, oh my God, this one's my favorite. And then the next one will be like, oh my God, no, this one's my favorite. Like you will love say you'll remember me, I think is my favorite out of all of them. I just need to tell you. Thank you so much. for the Kindle recommendation because the fact that I can turn my lights off in my room and it's like nothing but the Kindle, that's really, really nice. Love it. Also love the fact that if I just want to start another book and I don't want to go to Target or Book Somillion or wherever,
Starting point is 00:07:00 then I can just download. Yep. It's so much more convenient. I hate having the lights on. So it's so much more convenient. I love it. I don't have the inserts. Like I'm not. Oh, I got to send you some. I don't really know how to use them. I got the cover that you told me to get, but it's like silicone on the back. Yeah. So you just slip it in the silicone. Yeah. Like if you take it off and then you put the insert in there and then you put it back on, it should fit like nicely in there.
Starting point is 00:07:30 I'll send, I completely forgot to send you all the inserts. Some books are not on Kindle, which is really annoying. I wonder why that is. They don't make, from my understanding, don't quote me on this, but I think the authors don't make. I think they only make a couple sense on Kindle. Got it. So in the book, just for the summer, it kind of made me think about you and Susie. Yes. That's why I loved it so much, because I was like, that is, I think her name was Amber. Yeah, the mom's Amber. Yeah. That's why I think I connected with it so much because you're just like, you just want a relationship with your mom.
Starting point is 00:08:12 I think that's like every child's desires to have like a healthy relationship. And when the book was talking about how, you know, the mom came to see her and then falls in love with the guy and is, I don't know if this is like even a PC word, but like shacking up with him at his house and she was there to see her daughter and then she wasn't paying her any attention. I was like, wow, that is giving like Kail and Susie. Oh, 1,000%. Also, someone else said that Frieda McFa. The Intruder was giving Susie and Kale vibes. So I have that book and I'll be reading it. That's also free on Kindle and Limited. Okay. Like a thriller.
Starting point is 00:08:54 Really quickly, while it's in my brain before we move on, as a mother of a child who plays sports, how do we feel about not allowing kids to play sports for grades? Now, I know that we've talked about not playing sports as a punishment, but then it's like a gray area because you pay for the sports. they're committed to the team like you can't really take away a healthy outlet for you know bad behavior or whatever that looks like because if you take away a healthy outlet then their behavior could get worse but what about for grades specifically um because I'm thinking like when I was in high school and I played lacrosse like I had to get a certain grade I had to get certain grades
Starting point is 00:09:34 in order to be eligible to play but what if the sports are not associated with the school would you pull Jackson knowing that it means so much to him if his grades were really shitty No. I would like to say that I would because I think that that's a good life lesson. However, to remove a healthy outlet, I think I can come up with a different punishment. Coffee Convo's podcast is brought to you by Revol. Starting point is 00:12:19 But MGM operates pursuant to an operating agreement with Eye Gaming, Ontario. Okay, I need hope. Because I removed, well, I say I, technically willed. But it's a joint thing. Remove the iPad and the phone for grade purposes. Basketball tryouts were last week, still did basketball trials, still going to play basketball, but the technology is gone. Electronics are gone already. Is it overkill to then
Starting point is 00:12:48 remove him from school? The thing is that the sports mean the most to him. And I don't, I'm scared for him to not fully understand. So because the sports are not associated with the school right now, the grades don't matter. I mean, I think it's all preparation for high school, right? Because once you do get to high school, and I don't know if it's middle school as well. We're so new in middle school. I don't know. But I know you have to have a certain GPA to play sports. In college, I remember Will also had to have a certain GPA to be eligible to play on the baseball team. Okay. So this is like a long following situation if they want to stay committed to a sport. So the grades do have to be of utmost importance. However, if you take every healthy
Starting point is 00:13:40 outlet that they have, like we chose to remove the technology because I don't feel like it's healthy anyway. Agreed. That was like an easy whatever. But how much is overkill? I don't want punishment after punishment. I worry that the electronics at this moment wouldn't necessarily be enough. I know that sports mean the most to him. And so to get him to act quickly, my thought was the sports, but like I've never been able to do that before. So why now? I don't know if this is PC either, but I've threatened Jackson on the grades before. Like, okay, I understand this will be a financial commitment for myself, but since you can't do what you're supposed to do while you're at school and it's not of utmost importance to you, then I'm going to take it into my hands and what
Starting point is 00:14:31 you're going to do is you're going to be in tutoring from the time that you get out of school until the time it's time for sports. I did also mention a tutor, so. I don't know what it is, but they absolutely hate the idea of tutoring. And my whole thing is, okay, if you're going to be in the public school system. That means that you were there for at least seven hours a day. Please tell me what the fuck you're doing up at that schoolhouse that you cannot do what you're supposed to be doing in that amount of time where you're then coming home with either incomplete assignments and so incomplete that they weren't even attempted or a grade that you could have just might as well have just not done it at all. It affected your average that bad that you might
Starting point is 00:15:18 as well not have just done it at all. So now you've inconvenienced me and caused me stress. And I'm not going to be stressed for the rest of your schooling. So you can just get a tutor and you can sit there and since seven hours at school wasn't enough, we'll see if these other hours will be enough for you to understand. It doesn't take much. And I just, I don't know, I look at like how I was as a kid. nobody sat with me and wanted to do schoolwork with me or study with me or anything like that. And so, like, I get the, like, not really caring, but then I also would get the grades back and care. You know what I mean? So it was like, but then I never did anything to change it.
Starting point is 00:15:55 So I just worry that, I don't know. Do you have any children that will do something to get by, like, on the skin of their teeth? Yes. That is Jackson all day long. He's like, oh, you said. A's and B's, okay, everything will be at 80. Literally everything. And P will be 100.
Starting point is 00:16:18 So that is technically A's and B's. Yeah. They'll link in Lux both will like if I tell them, okay, you have to clean up this room before we go to the trampoline part. Mm-hmm. They will half ass it. It will be just done like the bare, bear, bare, bare minimum. And then they'll say it's done. Yeah, no, that's Jackson all.
Starting point is 00:16:41 And it, it makes me just wanted. I can't. I have to tell you what hit the news in Atlanta yesterday. I've been following the story. It says man arrested inside Atlanta airport after planning to shoot up terminal with AR-15. So it shows this whole video. And it says, a man with, in quotes, mental challenges was arrested after plotting to shoot up, Hartsville Jackson, Atlanta International Airport Monday morning.
Starting point is 00:17:08 It says he was 49 years old. He showed up to the airport after 9 a.m. And Atlanta police chief said that he live streamed on social media that he had plans to go to the Atlanta airport and to shoot it up. The family said that they heard about the threats and immediately notified the police who authority said that they had passed run-ins with him. And he was previously a convicted felon. It says that the local police department notified the airport security and they immediately began searching for him. His family told police that he was driving a Chevrolet flatbed truck and authorities found it parked right outside the airport at the doors of the South Terminal. It says that he entered the airport at 9.31 a.m. after arriving at 9.29 a.m. and was appeared to be scoping out the South terminal, which housed solely for Delta Airline passengers.
Starting point is 00:18:03 It says he was arrested inside the airport at 9.54 a.m. It says he's been. charged with terroristic threats, criminal attempt to commit aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Is that scary for it to be that close to you? That's absolutely terrifying. What's more terrifying is that they actually found an AR-15 assault rifle in his vehicle when they searched his vehicle and found 27 rounds of ammunition inside. I would love to know if he like just was seeking out the Atlanta airport and went there to do that. Or if he had a flight, like makes me feel like he was just seeking the airport.
Starting point is 00:18:50 But I think you can't get past security unless you have a flight. Yeah, but think about the amount of people coming off of flights and baggage claim or all of the other places, like the dining, the bathrooms, the security lines. Yeah, but I think. in order to get to that point in the airport you like you can't get through security without um like if if i'm taking you to the airport and i don't have an airline ticket i can't go through security with you no i know but i'm thinking that maybe he was just in the south terminal somewhere like you dropped off at the terminal without being passed the security and to park a vehicle outside
Starting point is 00:19:38 and then to go in, he parked it around 9.29 a.m. and then was inside the airport by 9.31 a.m. To me, that very much seems like he was scoping the stuff out and had the firearm in his fucking pickup truck. It's just, it's absolutely terrifying. And the thoughts of someone in a mentally disdrained state like that to go into an airport where there would be a mass. mass amount of people and evidently thought it was somewhat normal. Last night when we were, I went to the Flyers game with Kristen and I brought the kids. And I always like look around at stadiums and stuff. And I'm like, how many people are here like if something were to happen.
Starting point is 00:20:23 And the fact that we have to think like that is so sick. I always think like that. My head is constantly on a swivel if we're going anywhere that's large groups of people. In fact, I hate going anywhere with large groups of people. Like, the Super Bowl every year scares me. Wait, have you been to the Super Bowl? No. I wouldn't go.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Even if I could, I don't think. I mean, it's just, it's terrifying. There also was local to me as well. It says a man dead after a road rage gunfire crash. It was on Saturday night on I-75. It said it was a violent road rage encounter on Interstate 75 turned deadly late Saturday night after a series of crashes and gunfire involving multiple vehicles. in a police patrol car.
Starting point is 00:21:10 It says, what we know, according to the Georgia State Patrol, troopers were called to assist Atlanta police around 10.30 p.m. Saturday. Investigators said that a silver sedan and a Ford pickup truck were engaged in a road rage altercation when the sedan truck, the rear of altercation when the sedan struck the rear of the truck. Both drivers then pulled over to the right shoulder where the driver of the sedan got out and approached the truck. Gunfire was exchanged between the two drivers and the man from the sedan collapsed in lane six of the interstate. I just recently did a full try-on haul for rainbow curves, and I'm absolutely obsessed.
Starting point is 00:21:49 This is a Walmart active wear brand for Kirby Women, so you guys know that I'm not the skinniest girl on the planet, but they do have stretch-friendly bras, leggings, and biker shorts. They also have pants in sizes 14 to 32. I did a try-on of all of these items, and I'm obsessed with all of them. I know how hard it is to find curve-friendly workout sets, and that's why Rainbow Curbs was created. You guys, we shouldn't have to compromise on style or fit, and now you don't have to, thanks to Rainbow Curves. All of their things are under $15, and you guys can build your own set for under 30. I'm talking about bras, leggings in black, purple, green, gray, and navy.
Starting point is 00:22:25 But what's really great about these is that these are moisture wicking fabric to keep you cool and dry during any workout. Fabric is chafe-proof designed to prevent chafing, and all of their leggings have power stretch mesh material. for compression on the waist, tummy, and hips to keep you nice and snatch throughout the day. Like I said, I did a try-on haul. I also styled it a little bit for like a more athlete-leisure look with coffee combos merch. The boot-cut pants are cute. You can go casual, everyday lounge. They feel super soft and truly like butter on your skin. I also love that their team is women and LGBT plus lead, which is really nice. And if you guys want to shop, you guys can shop at rainbow curbs.com to purchase. That's spelled rain, R-A-I-N-B-E-A-U-Curves.com to purchase. Again, RainbowCurves.com.

But once you start listing on booking.com, your property gets seen by a massive global audience of unique travelers. That means more visibility, more bookings, and more opportunity to accelerate the growth of your rental business. And it couldn't be any easier. You can register your property in as little as 15 minutes and nearly half of hosts get their first booking within a week.
Starting point is 00:24:06 So if your vacation rental isn't listed on booking.com, it could be invisible to millions of travelers searching the platform. Don't miss out on consistent bookings and global reach. Head over to booking.com and start your listing today. Get seen. Get booked on booking.com. What types of problems are these people having before the road rage that is causing road rage to escalate? to this point. Like, I just don't get road rage like that. I truly do not give a fuck if someone cuts me off. That's not like the problem. What is the root of the problem that these people are having to pull guns on people like during road rage? It's mental health issues, I think,
Starting point is 00:24:41 genuinely. This weekend, Jackson and I drove to the mountains to do that like drive-through safari thing. And it was a one lane. And this guy passed us had a government like sticker on the vehicle passed us started flicking us off and was like pulling forward onto the bumper of like the car in front of us and then break checking me the entire time. And I got passed and flipped off because I was going the fucking speed limit. I'm just like what what is wrong with people? And when I was in college, um, Will's baseball team played like a little probably like 25 minutes south of where we went to school was where their baseball field was. So I had to get on interstate 20 if you're local to the Atlanta area, tried to avoid 20 at all costs, was driving in traffic. And this man pulled up,
Starting point is 00:25:37 like, I was kind of parked in deadstop traffic. There was a car on the other side. This guy was in the middle lane. And he was waving a firearm around in the car, looking at me and looking to the car next to me. And I'm like, what? And I mean, at this point, I'm only like 19 or 20 years old. And I'm just a little blonde girl in a silver Mercedes. I'm like, this guy's going to fucking kill me. You probably would have. I just kept looking, I just kept trying to look straight the fuck ahead. That's all you can do in those situations, because what else are you going to do? Okay, I have to ask you. I saw this article. It was on people.com. And it says that parents attended the daughter's wedding instead of going to their son's high school graduation and now he doesn't
Starting point is 00:26:24 want them at the college ceremony. I saw this. You did? Yeah, it pissed me off. Okay, I just feel like wouldn't we know that your son would be having a high school graduation, so wouldn't we be telling the daughter that got married, like, hey, these are definitely the weekends that you cannot have your wedding? I have multiple children
Starting point is 00:26:49 And I think about myself And scenarios like this If we'll say Because Elliot's the oldest Say he was about to get married And Lux was having a graduation You're literally Elliot is not getting married
Starting point is 00:27:04 On Lux's graduation day Like you know Entering that year Yes Graduation is going to be So no absolutely the fuck not That just pisses me off the original poster shared that their daughter announced her date while our son was in the first semester of his junior year.
Starting point is 00:27:23 So she, they knew. I just, I couldn't imagine, again, only have one child, so not going to be an issue for me, probably. But I just could not imagine being able to choose between those two things. No. Why would you, like, I don't understand why a sibling would even pick a date like that. that would piss me off. And the parents to be in the middle of it and not mitigate it is like, don't attend both then. That's what you're choosing between your children. But also, don't you want your brother at your wedding?
Starting point is 00:27:58 But the thing is, is like, a high school graduation involves so many other people, right? So that date is set in stone by people outside of your control. Yeah. The wedding would be an active selected choice. to get married on that specific weekend that does not involve a mass amount of people. Yep. So why are we not doing something about it and course correcting our children? There has to be something deeper that we don't know because I can't even imagine like and then
Starting point is 00:28:33 and then for the parents to participate in all of it is just insane to me. I can promise you once we get through schooling years with Jackson, I will be can camped out waiting for that diploma. Camped out. Okay. I could not imagine choosing between my children like two such important events of their life and being like, yeah, well, the wedding's just like more important. Yeah, no. No.
Starting point is 00:29:04 And this sounds really bad, but like almost hope she gets fucking divorced. Because you're an asshole for that. Right? You're an asshole. Well, is there more to the story? Like, is there more? So it says a person, I believe that this was on Reddit. We know we love Reddit. A person asked if they are in the wrong for choosing to attend their daughter's wedding over their son's high school graduation. Number one, why are we asking this on Reddit? The fact that you need to ask this on Reddit tells me that you already know that you made the wrong decision. But it says that the original poster explained that a few years ago, their son's high school graduation happened on the same day as his sister's wedding. putting them and their wife an extended family in a tough situation. We tried to see if my daughter could change her wedding date, but she had already paid the deposit
Starting point is 00:29:51 and really wanted that specific date because it was also her birthday. She felt it wasn't fair for us to ask her to move the date since she didn't know when her brother's graduation would be scheduled. She announced the date while her son was in the first semester of his junior year. It says the original poster shared that a lot of discussion went into which event that they would attend and ultimately the parents decided to attend the wedding. In a quote, I wanted to walk my daughter down the aisle. We looked into whether if anyone in the family could be at our son's graduation,
Starting point is 00:30:19 but everyone wanted to attend the wedding. My wife did not want to split either because she also wanted to be there for our daughter. We talked to our son, and while he seemed disappointed, we promised to try to make it up to him. They added, he seemed okay with it at that time. No, all of this is a big fat no for me. And you cannot tell me that you, like, I got my. my bachelor's degree in May, it was Mother's Day weekend, you know that graduation is typically in May. You know that. Why you, if you don't know when it's going to be scheduled, but you know
Starting point is 00:30:56 it's probably going to be in May or maybe the first week in June, why are you planning a wedding for that same time frame? I just feel like that's also planning a lot on your parents. When you have a child graduating from high school, typically, there are events that come along with that, right? So knowing that your parents are going through that with one of your siblings, why would you then stack on a wedding on top of that? No, literally no. But I agree with, with, he's quoted in this article saying he feels his sister could have changed her wedding date, but he could not change his graduation. And that day made him realize where he stood in the family. He said that this has really hurt my wife and me and our parents and our extended family we are really looking forward to
Starting point is 00:31:42 to see him walk across the stage and showing him how proud we were i don't blame him about his normal college graduation i do not feel bad for her i feel bad for him completely like do you imagine your child graduating from high school and then no one in the fucking family is there no graduating from high school college technical school nail school any fucking graduation No. So let me tell you this story that happened with my high school graduation. So I had a graduation party after graduation ceremony. And my parents have never gotten along enough to be in the same room for longer than 30 seconds. So since I lived with my dad and Julie, I was like, my mom shouldn't come because this should be a celebration for me. And I shouldn't have to be in an uncomfortable. situation because both my parents are at the same place. My dad goes behind my back, invites my mom to the graduation, tells me the day before the graduation.
Starting point is 00:32:51 I had no idea that she was coming. And it wasn't because I didn't want her there. It was because I did not want to remember the conversation we had about like doing the joint parties with parents who were divorced. Yes. It was like that situation. Like you're now putting me in an uncomfortable situation. situation because you all can't get along.
Starting point is 00:33:10 Yep. 1,000%. And I just felt like that was so wrong. And also, waiting. It is wrong. I think that, like, I'm seeing it in my own kids, too. Like, they'll say certain things to me. Well, I don't want my dad to say this because of you or whatever.
Starting point is 00:33:27 And it's like, I understand that. So don't put your kids in that situation. I am so excited about our next sponsor. Jones Road Beauty. They have a product that I discovered a couple of weeks ago called The Miracle Bomb. It is so amazing. I have always struggled with makeup looking a little bit cakey on my face. Starting point is 00:36:14 That's t-on-e-today.com. Speaking of that, I came across this TikTok yesterday that I stitched, and it's sort of in the same realm of conversation. The mom and husband have a biological child together, and then she, the mother, has two stepchildren. And she says that, and I'll have Kristen play the TikTok. She gave her biological daughter, and she kept saying biological daughter, the biggest room in the house, because the two children, the two stepchildren, have two households that are fully stocked, and her biological child's parents are still together. So I stitched it, and I basically was like, I don't understand the logic here.
Starting point is 00:36:54 Kristen, will you play it? Biggest room in our house, and let me tell you why. You may disagree with me because she's the baby, and she's the baby, and she has two bigger siblings, but I want you to understand something. This is her only house. Mom and dad are still together, and it drives my stepkids insane. They're like, but she's the youngest. We're older.
Starting point is 00:37:14 Why don't we get the big room? I'm jealous. It's not fair. Okay, first of all, fair is something you pay to ride the bus. Second of all, you have two homes that are fully stopped with anything you could ever want. She's not, okay? Mom and dad are still together, me and my husband. Everything she has is in this one house.
Starting point is 00:37:29 They go every other week to another house. that is fully stopped. So don't let your kids, your stepkids, anybody, manipulate you for the decision that you're making by telling you that it's not fair. I have a reason, okay? And although I've explained this to them, I'm sure they don't care, and I'm sure it doesn't really click in their brain, because to them, my kids, they're like, well, Kim is the baby and she's yours, she gets the bigger room. No, it's not. This is her only home. Now, if they all lived with us full time, the oldest would get it. It's that simple. But that's not the way that it is. And this is the way it's going to be as long as things are the way that they are.
Starting point is 00:38:04 Anyways, check back in with you next week. My biggest problem here is that, like, you're, it's giving, punishing the kids for parents not being able to work out. The parent, I would, I would argue that the stepkids don't like going back and forth between households. Um, and I'm speaking from experience, my kids don't benefit by having two households. Like, going back and forth between homes, why would they get a smaller room because of that. I understand somewhat what she's saying that that child only has the one home. However,
Starting point is 00:38:42 those other kids did not choose for their parents not to be together. So that argument completely goes out the window when you're making an active choice to stay with your husband, the father of the child that you're talking about that you guys created together. But those other children should not be punished because of that. And I think it should all be fair. Now, it's going to get into a deeper argument because I know people are going to say, well, are all the rooms in the house the same size or whatever? It's also a little weird to me. Is she saying that the youngest child has the biggest room, including the master bedroom? The way that I took it was aside from the master bedroom. because it looked to me like a over the added i mean over the garage type of like bonus room is what
Starting point is 00:39:28 it looked like to me i don't think that that i think it's like the biggest other bedroom are all of your kids rooms somewhat similar in size no my my one of my biggest regrets is the upstairs of my house i do have five bedrooms upstairs and they are vastly different um i rushed the process so much and christin will tell you i rushed it so much that I wasn't thinking about that or closet space at the time. And I only had four kids at the time. So the rooms are such different sizes. But for me, and I said it, I stitched the video.
Starting point is 00:40:06 You know, Elliot has the smallest room. Yes, he's the oldest, but he has the least amount of stuff. He doesn't have toys. He doesn't have a rocking horse. He doesn't have a toddler bed and a crib. He doesn't have a bunch of stuff, right? And so he gets the smallest room right now. He has his own bathroom.
Starting point is 00:40:22 has the smallest room. Lux sort of floats between sharing a room with Lincoln, sharing a room with Creed, depending on his mood. So Lincoln has two beds in his room and Creed has two beds in his room because Lux likes to go between. Those are two of the biggest rooms. And then right now, Valley and Verse are still side by side in cribs in Valley's room, but Verse will share a room with Rio at some point.
Starting point is 00:40:45 The rooms are vastly different. That's part of the reason why I want to move because it just, we're out of space. but I say all that to say, I'm not going to give my biological child the biggest room in the house simply because that's their only home. Like, that's never going to fly with me. That's never going to, one of my kids has this situation at their dad's house. And he literally said to me, he doesn't have his own bathroom. He doesn't have his own this.
Starting point is 00:41:11 He doesn't have his own that. But the biological child between them does have all that stuff. It's just another reason to be resentful because this. Those things will build resentment over time, and I don't think that's good. I would actually argue and say that if you have a child within your marriage that you're still in, the child from outside of that, I would venture to say should be considered more. I would agree with you. Okay, let me ask you how you would feel about this. So in my current house, um, When we moved in, it was just Jackson and I. Still just Jackson and I. I gave him the biggest room closest to my bedroom. Let's say I end up with someone who has children. The other bedrooms that are upstairs are good-sized bedrooms. They're across the hall from each other. And each of those rooms has their own, like, sink and closet area. But the bath and shower are shared. So it's like a Jack and Jill.
Starting point is 00:42:20 okay but they have their own like sinks then i have a bedroom downstairs on the main floor that has its own bathroom shower situation within the bedroom am i wrong for allowing jackson to stay in the room that he's in at that point at the point that you bought the house moved in the way like you two there that's just what it was when you guys moved in so if you ended up with someone that had children and you would make it work and you would, that doesn't mean anything less for the space. It's just like, you shouldn't, Jackson should not have to uproot what he knew and what he came into for a blended family. You're going to blend accordingly, but I don't think that you should uproot him to give
Starting point is 00:43:04 somebody else that room. I agree. It's already a big enough adjustment to blend a family. I don't think taking him from the only room that he has known in that home from him would be the way to do it. it's been said to me that Jackson would be the oldest, so why would he need to be closest to my bedroom and also have the larger room? And it's like, well, last time I checked, we moved in here with the intention of it just being us.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Also, last time I checked, you don't pay for anything around here. Like, I'm thinking of my house right now. If another child was added into it, I would have to make it work because all the rooms are taken. So we would just, like, figure it out. But no, I'm not going to uproot. I'm not, no, absolutely not. Shit hits the fan mid-recording and we have to pause. And then Matt called me.
Starting point is 00:44:16 Larry from teen mom called me. Shit's hitting the fan, Lindsay. What the fuck is going on? Y'all, we just blacked out. Blacked out, mid-recording, have no idea what is going on. I think we were talking about blended rooms, maybe, blended families.
Starting point is 00:44:29 These phone calls that have come through during this recording have me very unwelled also. I think my period's coming. So scared about that. And on that note, we have foul play. We still have foul play. When in doubt, foul play. Y'all ladies keep me going every week with all the laughs and unhinged stories.
Starting point is 00:44:51 I never thought I would have a foul play, but here we go. My boyfriend and I have been together for 13 years this September. First of all, I'm unsure about the boyfriend for 13 years. That makes me very uncomfy. So this morning, we were doing the do before he went to work. Things were getting hot and heavy, and I'm getting close to climax. When I tell him, I'm ready to let go, if you will. Wait.
Starting point is 00:45:13 well, I tell him I'm getting ready to let go, if you will. And as soon as I start to climax, I left out, I let out the loudest farthest is where I have ever heard in my entire life. He starts laughing. I start laughing. We keep going for more, for a few more minutes. And when we're done, this man looked at me and said, you've tuted. My soul left my body.
Starting point is 00:45:32 Thank you for the laughs every week. This is giving you farting on the couch. This is giving queef. And they're going to think it's a fart. No, I feel like they know if it's a queef or if it's a far. No, there's no way. Like the air, the air that comes out sounds like a different sound. Like doggy style is going to get me with the quefs every time.
Starting point is 00:45:58 I wonder why? The friction. The position and just like pack an air right in. You know what I mean? Remember that one time that I told you that I queefed and I was like, well, maybe you should fill me with dick instead of air like because i thought it was going to be funny and like it just didn't play the way that i'm sure you heard his feelings oh like it was dead silent in the bed until the morning but like i'm not trying to hurt your feelings i saw it on a fucking meme
Starting point is 00:46:32 the first time i quiffed i was a full-blown adult and like i had no idea what was happening I had, if I had queefed before, I didn't know about it. Um, I don't know if it's something that like, if it's only loud like you know about it. Like, aren't there like more like silent queefs? I don't know. Mine have only ever been loud. Well, anyway, this is the first time I've ever known of a queef. And so.
Starting point is 00:46:59 This girl that wrote in, she should have just said it was a queef. But the fact that he said you tooted. Childish. It's like childish, and I just, I can't get behind it.
