I hate gift giving and receiving.
Receiving gifts is so weird.
What do you say thank you?
This is coffee convoes with Kail Lowry and Lindsay Crissly.
I really want you to be in your feels, Kail.
That does not interest me whatsoever.
I feel very attacked by you.
A spirited discussion about motherhood, friendship, family, and life in the public eye.
I'm just not with the fakery anymore.
There's a fakery bakery around here.
Here's Kail and Lindsay.
Good morning.
There are so many things wrong with right this moment.
Okay, I need to ask you, somebody, if you woke up in the morning and you're really tired and somebody said to you, good morning, sunshine. Would you be upset?
Violence. Immediate violence. I also, like, the fact that we are cameraman today and Iker in this room and they're both men and they have to deal with that. Like, I just would love to know what their thoughts are about us in these moments.
They couldn't be good. I mean, truly, they could not be good. We're still in.
Charlotte. We are in Kail's bed at the Moxie. I woke up this morning and I wanted to literally
just pass away. You wanted to go in the cave. I did. I did. I looked over at my phone and Kail had
already texted me and said, I'm up. First of all, absolutely not. I couldn't. Why was that at 8.40 something?
I don't know. I literally woke up and I I didn't know what the fuck was going on. I couldn't go back to
sleep. Madison and Hunter had a whole group chat going. I've missed a call from Jackson last night.
And I'm like, I'm sorry, buddy. Like, we were doing fatherless behavior. I had already texted
Chris to wish, um, Cree to have not texted through the, through the app. I texted him to
wish Cree to happy birthday and send him the videos that Elliott and Lincoln made and asked him
when I could FaceTime. So I'm just, um, I'm there with you. Um, can you? Um, can you? Um, can you? Um, can
you tell everybody your version of the story of what happened last night to us with Becky?
Last night, first of all, I loved Charlotte crowd. I thought it was a great show. Everyone
has messaged me and said it was a great time. We promised to walk over to the bar next door
to say hi to people afterwards. Left, it closed at 10. Thank you, Rihanna. Thank you, baby Jesus.
come to the moxie. There's a little lounge on the 13th floor and it's cute. It's like bar. You can order
food. There's like a lounge area that's like separate. We're just shooting the shit. Me, Lindsay, Ike,
Becky, Becky's friend Jamie. And all of a sudden, this man named Tanner walks over and he says
that there is only a hundred years left for natural gas and that he works in the natural gas industry.
and I go, okay, so what's the solution?
And here goes Becky telling this man that we are on TV.
No, first of all, you need to stop because I said, do we know you?
Because he sat down so casually.
Like he was a part of the group.
Like maybe he knew Ike or Becky.
Yeah, so I was like, do we know you?
Yeah.
And he was like, I'm from Kentucky.
I do natural gas.
Here goes Becky talking about her son.
Tanner's talking about his son.
out of fucking left field, Becky says we're on TV.
So now I have to make something up because I don't want to say I'm from teen mom.
So I say Becky was on teen mom.
And you were on Southern Charm.
And I kept saying I wasn't on Southern Charm and he was like, I wish Shep was here.
I've never seen Southern Charma Day in my life.
I'm familiar with the name of it.
but I could not tell you one single thing about Southern Charm.
The funny as part of it all is that Becky goes to Tanner.
For anyone listening, Becky goes to Tanner.
They're like sort of sitting next like diagonal from each other.
Let me see your phone.
This man hands her his phone.
He's by himself.
He's not with anyone.
Does the face ID to let her get in?
Takes a picture of me and Lindsay and sends it to this man's wife.
She goes, oh, it's wifey.
And Tanner is freaking out because
he thinks that Lindsay's on Southern Charm and him and his wife are friends of Southern Charm.
And I think it would have- Friends of Southern Charm viewers.
Fans. Sorry, I'm tired. Fans of Southern Charm. But it takes a turn. The wife is upset.
Not excited. She initially wasn't. So she initially called to ask what he was doing. And I heard him
tell her that he was hanging out with people on this rooftop. And she was like, oh, okay, I think she was
half asleep. Yeah. Well, then she woke up, apparently, to change their six-month-old baby and calls
back and blows him out. And he goes, do y'all do bad things? He said that. Yeah, that's what he said
to us. And I was thinking to myself, define bad things. Define fatherless behavior. And he's like,
wait, so like, what were you all doing here? And the look on his face, I don't know how long these people
had been married, but she possibly filed for an annulment before he got back to Kentucky.
I also thought that she was in a room here at the Moxie with their six-month-old son,
and he was just hanging out at the, like, little hangout place.
I need to know from our listeners.
So, like, we love when people come to our shows solo, because you're, like, stepping out
of your comfort zone and you're doing something fun, something.
Maybe your friends don't get the lore, right?
So we encourage people to do that
or like encourage people to go have a meal by yourself.
Would you,
if you were on a business trip,
go to a bar by yourself
and hang out on a rooftop by yourself?
Absolutely not.
Like I guess I'm trying to put myself in their shoes.
Like would I be upset if I was an,
I would also probably be upset.
I don't think it was meant to be like,
Beck,
I know Becky wasn't trying to upset anyone.
So I'm like, I understand,
but I do understand why his wife was upset
because I would be upset if,
if I went,
to the bar.
And he handed his, I mean, obviously, Becky's a lesbian, but it doesn't matter.
Oh, well, Tanner also said that he wouldn't have known Becky was a lesbian off the rip.
And I looked at him and I'm like, okay, so that is the state that you're, how many beers
have been consumed?
That is insane.
I mean, you can't always tell.
but like so I was trying to put myself in tanner's wife's shoes and I'm like if Ike went to the bar by
himself and he's shooting the shit and he hands lesbian or not hands the phone over to somebody takes
a picture of like girls who may or may or may not be pretty or may not be on TV and then like I would be
fucking pissed I don't even like unless it was like a famous actress I would be pissed.
Okay, so funny story.
I was in this group chat with several of my friends,
and I was on a work trip with you.
And the group chat is just like going off.
And do you know that like guys go to bars and AI girls and to photos to try to make people
they're trying to date jealous?
Did you know that's a thing?
Men are so petty, but we get the bad rap for being petty.
Men are so fucking petty.
It's so crazy.
I saw these photos in this group chat and I removed myself.
I saw them.
Y'all showed them to me.
And I was like, wait.
But it looked real, right?
It looked real.
But like, that's terrifying.
But also, why did Becky have to out all of our business?
Like, to a stranger that's talking about natural gas.
I, and I kept circling back to, because I,
Ike sat between us. So it was like, if anyone's listening, it's like we were sitting in a circle.
Tanner was, if I'm in the center of the circle looking out, Tanner, Ike was directly to my left.
Tanner was directly next to Ike. Becky was a diagonal from Tanner and then Jamie, you on my right.
I kept circling back. Every time there was a sentence said, I was just circling back to what is the
solution when we run out of natural gas.
And he didn't have an answer for me.
And I just was like, are we an engineer?
Like, are we going to do technology?
Like, what you came over here to talk about natural gas.
Like, tell me what the solution is.
But that let me know what state and how many beers he had actually consumed.
Because any person that is on a rooftop bar that walks up just so casually sits down.
And then immediately starts talking about natural gas.
what are, I'm trying to eat pork sliders, like
I think he's just passionate.
He's passionate.
No, he was, um,
debilitated.
Okay.
I ordered chicken wings only to realize that they were breaded with gluten, so.
Want to talk about how the show went last night?
Yeah, I think it was, it was a little chaotic for me on stage.
Um, but the crowd was great.
I thought the Charlotte crowd was great.
I was impressed with Kelsey because not everybody that has a social media following can
like hold a stage presence.
And people were so fucking excited to see you.
Which is crazy to me.
Why?
I don't know.
I just feel like I didn't realize how many people come to these shows that listen to coffee combos.
And I've told people this for years that after,
I left reality TV. I'm like, I just talk behind a mic. So like, you don't think about it.
Someone said to me last night in the crowd that we got them, coffee combos got them through their
IVF journey. Somebody told me that coffee convo's got them got them through the worst five years
of their life and that they could not wait for every Thursday. That makes me want to cry.
Because I think about the things that I go, like the things that I turn to to escape reality and
to get my mind off things, right?
And it's really cool to think about the fact
that we can do that for other people.
Like think about your most trying time.
For example, and Becky talked about this,
so I'm not outing her.
The night that we have the Indianapolis show,
she was in the trenches.
Like Becky was in the trenches,
but it doesn't matter what you're going through
in those moments.
You have to lock in and then your mind is somewhere else.
Do you know what I'm saying?
And I'm not saying that nobody, you know,
every single person is gonna get through every single thing, right?
like that, but there are certain things that you turn to to escape. And I think that that's really
cool that we can do that for other people. I wholeheartedly agree. I did not realize how excited
people would get for us just to walk to that little bar that had four letters. VGBG or VBGB, something like
that. Yeah, when we walked in, the energy and the amount of screaming and excitement. And I did help
that it closed at 10, though, because I was exhausted and so hungry.
And I was like, wow, you guys really came to have a good time.
Like, y'all are throwing down college style, and I'm just trying to get a Gatorade.
I walked around that place with the Gatorade the whole night.
Summer adds up fast, a trip here, a dinner there, a couple of concerts, going to the trampoline
park, taking our kids to the arcade, which had me wondering if I'm getting the most out of my
money and that's where Chime comes in.

My woe this week is going to be Becky.
Why?
The situation that she put us in last night when I tell you,
I don't think that I've ever tried to announce my exit.
I'm a good Irish good buyer.
right? Oh, same. The way that I felt that I needed to announce my exit and grab my purse and get my
shit and go. That was a wo moment for me because I thought if that wife called Tanner back one more
time and said something, I didn't want her to tell him anything that we've ever done.
I didn't want to. And we be sitting there. Yeah. So I'm like, you know what? I think it's time. Everybody needs to go to bed.
It's time to go to bed. I'm always ready for bed.
Was that also your woe?
Oh, absolutely my woe.
Absolutely without a day. I was ready to go.
Just like Becky, girl.
Becky and I can talk to a fucking wall.
And I don't understand that. Like, I mean, I guess we kind of can too, but on a microphone.
But normally I just want to sit in silence.
I was thinking about that. So when we drive out of Charlotte and you're, we're going
to Atlanta, I would imagine you're going home.
I did send you the Airbnb location just so you have it.
But I was like, maybe Becky would want to run around with Lindsay.
And then I thought to myself, nope, Lindsay's going to want a quiet appointment.
A quiet appointment with myself.
I swear if you call Becky right now and say you have no room in your car and tell her,
Lindsay said, nobody can ride with her even though she has three extra seats.
Can you imagine?
Oh, I can't.
I can't.
I can imagine.
I can imagine.
What was your high?
Probably getting to be with you and Becky, I would say.
I always love when it's like us three together.
Yeah.
And I told Ike last night, and this is no knock to anybody, so please don't twist my words.
I do think that we could carry an entire tour with some combination of the three of us.
I think it needs to be all.
of us.
Me and you.
Yeah, of course.
Yeah.
But like even if one of us couldn't make it to a tour date,
I still think that we could carry the show and have a good time.
Do you think that because we have the shows together and typically if somebody listens to this show,
then they listen to like a combination of the other shows and they're so invested in us as host
that they would rather see us like collectively as host.
and no guest?
Well, so this is a question for the listeners, really because, and again, no knock to anybody.
Like announcing guests didn't do anything for ticket sales.
It like didn't do anything for numbers.
So I would, yeah, I would say yes.
And then secondarily to that is people don't like, like the majority of listeners don't love
when we have a guest on coffee convo's podcast.
And I've checked the listens on karma and chaos.
And a majority of the people do not like guests over there either.
I think it's because they become invested in the dynamic.
I would agree.
And it's only going to get crazier once the show airs.
The show.
What show?
All the times that we've been filming and we're also filming in Atlanta.
Oh, I thought I was supposed to be lying about that.
Oh, I've been talking about it.
Where?
Because they filmed two of my shows already.
I know, but where did you talk about it at?
The shows.
Oh, like the live shows?
You told people?
Yeah, because the cameras were there.
they'll be there tomorrow.
So I was like, I tell people you might be on, like, you might be on it.
I don't know.
I looked at the address that you sent me for the Airbnb.
No, no, no.
I think I might have like blacked out in my mind this morning when I saw the address.
I immediately called Hunter and I said, I need you to check that address right now because
there is parts of that road that like aren't the best side of town.
and I said, I am not about to get blown up by this bitch if she has sent me this address
and I did not warn her that it was bad.
But it's not.
It's on a golf course, so you're fine.
How far is the Airbnb from your house?
Like 48 minutes.
I live what I feel like is the middle of nowhere, but in comparison to like you living on land
in Delaware, I feel like you actually live in the middle of nowhere.
Did I tell you what the population of Delaware is, of Hartley, Delaware?
Yeah, you said it was like 73 people or something.
something. And we're nine of them. I just don't see, how do they not get rid of that place?
Like how do any businesses make money? There's no business. There's only a gas station,
a family dollar, and a dollar general market because there's no grocery store. You have to
drive for some people 15 minutes, for some people 20 minutes, 25 minutes. So they have,
I think that's why. And those two businesses, like the family dollar,
in the DG market, like, they'd have good, they'd get good business. Like, we go there probably
multiple times a week. Well, of course they get good business because there is nowhere else to go
for the 73 people. Correct. I think that I probably have thousands of people just in my neighborhood
alone. So when you say 73 people, like you're talking Hartley, Delaware has 73 people.
Let me Google it. Watch, it's like 7300. What is?
the population of Hartley. What's the point of even like genuinely what's the point of even having
81 people sorry. Oh tomato tomato the population of Hartley Delaware is about 81 people making it the least
populated incorporated town in the state. Kent County no I think I think in the United States
well I don't know of anywhere else that has a population of 81.
So when I tell y'all that I feel like a fish out of water and like we don't belong here and I get it.
And I yeah, I mean, it's it's time to move on, you know?
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
I want to tell you about this TikTok that I saw.
And I feel like you're going to tell me that I'm rage baiting you, but I'm not.
Like, it's real.
So it is this 20 and 21-year-old couple.
They have an Airbnb and they make TikToks.
I saw it.
going into the way that I was fucking raging yesterday you're going to break your teeth when I saw
those fucking videos I was raging so for those listening that have not seen it we'll make sure we
post the TikTok but basically they go into the Airbnb after there's guests and they assess the
state of the Airbnb and how it was left and they're very nitpicky act like normal thing
like moving the coffee table is crazy.
I specifically said this is why I could not have an Airbnb.
So I posted, so in Texas I stated an Airbnb and checkout was 10 a.m., which is before
hotels.
They wanted you to start the laundry, start the dishwasher, take the trash out, strip the beds,
all these things.
But then also charge you a cleaning fee.
But also charge a cleaning fee.
And I understand that there is a short window.
for turnover because you have to be ready for the next guest. That is not my problem. That's not my
problem. Make check in later. I don't know, but there is less of a reason for me to stay.
The convenience is, I'm still ordering DoorDash. I'm still ordering Uber Eats. I can do that to a
hotel. It's not convenient like it was when it first started. So it frustrated me and I posted
the status yesterday on Facebook, like asking why that is. Like, what is the benefit of staying
at the Airbnb at this point if we're paying cleaning fees, if we're having to do all the chores
because of your cleaning person? I'm sorry, but that's not my problem. Have other towels and
stuff ready to go. Like, have another supply of them while you're washing these ones. Do it
while you're cleaning everything else. Like, I don't know. And then to check out one to two hours
before a hotel checkout.
Like we have late checkout in this hotel at 1 o'clock.
I paid nothing for it.
Call the front desk.
Hey, can I have late checkout?
Yes.
I am to the place now that I do not want to stay in an Airbnb.
It kind of freaks me out a little bit.
We had a really bad experience at our Airbnb in Charleston.
Literally the water would not drain in either of the showers.
Or the sinks.
There was mold in the showers and on the shower curtains.
You know like a shower curtain where it turns pink on the
bottom because it hasn't been washed in quite some time.
I just, I'm not saying that they have to wash it after every guest, but I'm like,
that hasn't been washed probably ever.
But there was black mold on it.
It was disgusting.
The sinks wouldn't drain.
The showers wouldn't drain.
Half the outlets in the house didn't work.
Ike found a fake, it wasn't his, a fake fingernail.
I have a confession about the fingernail.
Was it yours?
Does that fingernail?
look like it was my fingernail? No. So we had a hair and makeup girl come there and she burned herself
on the curling iron and from what I remember her nails looked like the nail that you found. So I'm
thinking when she burned herself, maybe she like whipped it off. We have a picture of that girl doing
your makeup. Let me see it because I'll double check. I don't think so. I think it is. She didn't have
nails on. Yes, she did. Was she missing some?
I don't know.
Well, I had a hotel booked for Atlanta first.
So travel for tour booked me in a hotel.
When production for the TV show decided they wanted to film in Atlanta, they said they didn't get clearance to film in the Weston Buckhead.
So they moved me from my hotel to an Airbnb.
I feel like the second that you're pregnant, you're basically living at the doctor's office and it does not stop once you're a mom.
I actually was in a doctor's office too.
times last week. So appointments, sick visits, and all of it. It really makes you appreciate
the nurses, the doctors, everyone who takes care of you and your kids through all of it.
If you are a healthcare professional, you deserve the best, starting with what you wear.
That's where figs comes in. If you have ever seen someone in super cute scrubs, they're probably
figs. Out with a boxy, stiff scrubs, in with breathable, flexible, and ridiculously soft fabric
that feels as good as it looks, which says a lot.
they've got thoughtful details plus pockets in all the right places and they come in a ton of gorgeous colors.
So if you are in health care or you're shopping for someone who is check out figs.
Go to wearfigs.com and use code figs rx for 15% off your first order.
That's wherefigs.com code figs rx.
Some Airbnb experiences exceptional.
Some Airbnb experiences not great, not convenient, not anything.
production paid for the Airbnb that we're going to in Atlanta.
So I don't have to, I won't complain since I'm not paying for it.
I just wonder how many people that are listening to this, even if you're in a hotel,
let's not even say Airbnb.
When I leave a hotel, like I left my room this morning, I always pile up like all the dirty
towels and put them in one pile.
A lot of times I'll just like put them in the shower floor.
I make sure that all of my trash is thrown away in the trash can.
I don't leave it a mess.
I will never understand with Airbnb why we are needing to strip sheets,
why we need to start towels,
why we need to start the dishwasher.
I don't understand that.
Because they're saying all the comments on my Facebook post were saying because of the turnover time.
So if the checkout at a hotel is 11,
they have X amount of time to change the sheets and change the towels and clean the room for the next guest.
For an Airbnb, because it's an entire space, they only have, like, for the one in Texas, it was 10 a.m.
Checkout, which pissed me off because my flight wasn't until two.
So, like, or two or three or something like that.
So it's like, it's an hour earlier than a hotel.
I should have just stayed at a hotel.
Champagne problems.
I know.
She wanted us to do, like, and I would do the towel.
Like, if you look in the bathroom in the hotel right now, all the towel is, all the towels are, the dirt.
Towers are in a pile on the floor in one section. So like I do the same thing. I also don't need a
reminder to do that in an Airbnb because I'm going to take I'm going to pick up my track.
I'm not leaving trash everywhere, right? But do I think it's my responsibility to take the trash out
from the trash cans and take it to the trash cans outside or down the block or whatever? No.
Do I think that I should start the laundry? No, I've already put them in a pile for you. Do you,
do I think that I should start the dishwasher? Also, no. It's just one of the like I don't, but they're
saying because if you check out at 10, they only have until, which is weird to me, you have from 10
until 3 or 4 because check in is mostly 3 or 4. Hold on. We're watching the video of this nail.
It's like out here acting like a true crime. Oh, you're right. It was hers. It was hers. It was her. It was her nail. I told you. I think when she burned herself on the curling iron,
it flicked off is what I think happened.
And we've told these Airbnb people that we found a nail that was a part of something we were doing.
The mold was still there.
The sink still wouldn't drain.
The outlets still weren't working.
Wait, but also it kind of pisses me off that Airbnb's will give you an entire list.
And no Airbnb is the same, right?
That's the other thing that's so annoying.
I'm like, if we could just have some consistency here, because I really didn't come to read.
So I'm not trying to read all these rules and regulations that you're trying to put me under in this fucking house.
Also, why am I paying this cleaning fee?
If I'm doing half of the cleaning, why am I paying the fee?
But, okay.
So if I'm checking out earlier in an Airbnb at 10 a.m., and the check-in time is not until 4, which it was.
We're talking about six hours.
You need me to do all, I'm paying the cleaning fee and you need me to do all this because
you, six hours is a good amount of time to clean the space.
Wait, so when we go after all the troubles that we've had at this Airbnb in Charleston,
I go downstairs and I ask Kiel, I said, hey, what are the checkout instructions?
And she goes, fuck that.
So you don't do it at any Airbnb.
No, I do.
I was just mad.
I do the things.
But I also have like,
demand avoidance.
I was going to do these things anyway.
I was going to put my towels in a pile.
I was going to put all my trash in the trash can.
I was going to make sure the dishwasher was loaded anyway.
You putting it on an instruction list has now sent me to the moon and I don't want to do it
because you fucking told me to do it.
Why did you put that in the rule list as if I'm a dirty bitch?
Because I clean up after myself.
at other people's houses.
Not at my own, but I know.
But what I'm saying is people listening to this might write to us and say,
no, I never put my towels in a pile.
I never throw my trash away.
That's why there are rules to some degree because not everybody is like us.
And I do get, okay, fine.
But it's just irritating.
Like, if I'm paying a three.
You don't want to be told what to do.
No, I don't.
Like, that's the bottom line.
Yes, that's correct. And in fact, I take really good care of other people, like people's Airbnbs.
Like I, my mom, because I, you guys know the story already. Like take care of other people's places so that they don't kick you out, right? Like I do those things. But it does infuriate me that these air, like what you have six hours till the next guest. You, we are paying a cleaning fee. What the fuck? Then I see these fucking rage baity fucking TikToks on TikTok this couple. I did.
read allegedly they were removed off Airbnb because of their TikTok. Oh really? Allegedly. They might
move over to a VRBO but the one that I saw was they went into the Airbnb after a guest was there
and they had left two takeout containers of food in the fridge and they were just like they weren't
dirty or anything. It was just two takeout containers and then some like condiment bottles. Okay.
And she lost her shit. And she's like, let's deep clean the fridge because they left all this stuff in the
fridge. I also will tell you, I'm never leaving stuff in a fridge. Like, if we've gotten takeout,
like all the food, for example, that we had in there, I got all the waters, like all the Alonis,
put them in a nice pile for Ike to put in the car, all the stuff that I knew that we weren't
going to eat, threw it away, took the trash out, put the towels in the pile. I can promise you right now,
that Airbnb that we stayed at has not been cleaned for six hours.
hours total. Facts. No, you were 100% correct. I don't even, I would agree. I don't even know if it
was clean before we got there. I don't, I don't think it's ever been cleaned between guests. I don't
think they have a cleaning service. And now I'm cringing because did we sleep on dirty sheets?
And then they called us mid-recording and they were like, hey, can we come check out like the drain,
the draining sinks and bathtubs and check out the outlets? And I was like, yeah, if you don't mind,
we'll be done recording in an hour
and they're like, okay, we'll be there.
Never showed up.
What if it wasn't even like a real Airbnb listing?
Like, what if it was like...
What if we get on the news
and we've been a part of some type of crime cover-up?
Wait, that's such a good plot.
That's like a good novel.
You should write something like that.
You know what I mean?
Like, what if we were?
Commit a crime in an Airbnb and have tons of
guests come through it and nobody knows because now it's contaminated all over the place.
I'm writing a book.
I think you have enough to do.
That doesn't involve, doesn't involve that.
I need to know when you get home, are you going back to school shopping or what's happening?
No, I'm not going back to school shopping.
I have already washed backpacks.
The kids are going to do a little trading situation.
What backpack are you taking this year?
and they have enough clothes to last them the entire school year.
And no, they're not getting new clothes.
The only thing they might get is brand new shoes.
But if their shoes are in good condition, then they're not getting them either.
And I'm going to check Goodwill for school supplies.
If they're needed, I have to go through my overflow from last year, which I have not done.
But we are not unless it is absolutely necessary and I can't find something gently used or new with tags on Poshmark or Goodwill.
no. My kids are just so spoiled. My kids do not understand the value of a dollar. My kids do not
understand that it is a privilege to go to the store and get brand new items. My kids do not
understand that. And I cannot continue that cycle. Like there is a real possibility with today's
economy and society that they will never be able to sustain the lifestyle they are living right now in
their childhoods and I need to humble them now.
I mean, you and I have had a lot of conversations about that, that they have access to
way too much because we have afforded them the ability to be able to have access to that.
Yes.
But with that being said, at what point does it become like a hindrance to their life for
the future?
Because I think about certain things and I'm like, okay, when these kids are 18, 19, 19 years,
years old and they're out and about on their own, they're not going to have access to the same
stuff that they did.
Right.
So if you're teaching them that they have access to all of these things and then they don't,
you're actually doing them a disservice.
They should learn what a budget is.
They should learn what a value of a dollar is.
They should learn that you can't go into the store and just get what you want every single
time you walk in.
Yep.
1,000%.
The whole two weeks leading up to.
Lux and Creed's birthday. Can I get this? Can I get this? Can I get this? And I literally, Ike will tell you. I said,
no, your birthday's coming up where before I would have just done it. I would have just gotten it because we
can. And then I don't think I talked about this, but Elliot and I had dinner with my cousin in the city.
And they're in like a teen travel program. So they go somewhere to do like they travel internationally
with a group of kids or whatever. It's a really cool program. And we were talking about,
you know, her three kids going somewhere and I was talking about Elliott and Lincoln coming to
London. And somehow the travel aspect of it, like getting over, like on the plane came up. And I was
saying that, you know, we fly first class. And my cousin who, I mean, they're very, very
well-to-do, wealthy, was like, why? Why? Why? You don't know if they're going to be able to afford
that as an adult, why do they need to fly first class to London? They don't. I don't know how it was for you
with teen mom, but in my Chris Linos best contract, it was written in there that we got first class
transportation. We did not. And so when Jackson was a baby, he was always flying first class with me.
And I'll never forget after Will and I divorced, Will took him on a trip and they sat and coach.
And Jackson was like, dad, why are we sitting here?
He was like, I want drinks and snacks.
And he was like, oh, buddy, this is the real world.
Mm-hmm.
And do you know that I haven't flown a first-class seat since then?
I don't fly first class when I come to meet you somewhere.
I don't fly first class or anything.
By choice.
By choice.
Like, who do I think I am to be sitting in first class?
Well, it kind of like goes back to, I saw.
Jessica Simpson.
I saw that too.
A long time ago was in first class.
Her kids were in coach.
And then I want to say, don't quote me on this, but there was something that circulated
about Kristen Cavalieri flying first class and her kids flying coach.
And at first I was like, I was kind of like back and forth with it.
Because then I feel weird if I can't put my kids in first class, like if I don't put my kids
in first class, then why don't I sit back there with them?
But like I'm the one that earned the money.
but it's like I don't know like I'm sort of like you're saying that you also have never flown first class
since then so you're flying coach with him but like what kind of mom would I be if I put them in coach
and I'm in first like I don't know I mean I absolutely wouldn't do that if I was flying first class
or you know sometimes I'll fly comfort but if I'm flying with him he's also flying comfort like I'm
not sitting somewhere that he's not sitting all right y'all I just
recently did the math on how much that I spent eating out this summer. And honestly, I do not even
want to talk about it. But now I'm easing back into our normal routine. And Home Chef is helping

Back to that Jessica Simpson situation, though.
I, we all know that Nick Lachay is my absolute heartthrob.
Okay?
Like, my first crush, can't tell me shit.
Don't talk shit about 98 degrees.
I knew one song.
Like, loved.
that man. I had convinced myself
that I was going to like run into him somewhere.
And you might have. Well, I didn't.
You didn't? No, I didn't. But I convinced myself that I was going to. Like I was obsessed with
newlyweds. I was obsessed with 98 degrees. Loved it. When he and Jessica Simpson got divorced,
I was like, you know what? She's kind of not nice anyway. Like I'm going to take his side.
Is she not nice? I met her one time.
and from my experience, it was the rudest celebrity interaction that I've ever had.
Are you serious?
And it was when she was dating Tony Romo.
She dated Tony Romo?
Yep.
It was at the beach.
Roodest celebrity interaction.
You probably told me this before and I forgot.
But I'm trying to think of like a rude celebrity interaction that I've had, but probably just Nick Cannon.
You've met Nick Cannon?
I'm surprised you're not one of the baby moms.
I am the Nick Cannon of Delaware.
Nick Cannon of Delaware.
How embarrassing.
But back to what I was saying.
So when they got divorced, I was like, I obviously like can't follow her story anymore.
I feel like she might have had an affair on him when she was, you know.
Not you being a Jessica Simpson troll.
You know, when she was filming Dukes of Hazard.
Did you post this theory on Reddit?
No.
I didn't even know about that app back in the day.
Is it an app?
I think you can get the app.
Oh, hell.
So I'm like, you know what?
I love Nick Lachey and I always will.
Now he's pissed me off.
Why? What do he do?
Because he had zero business running into his ex-wife on a flight and then going and talking
publicly about her kid sitting in coach and her being in first class.
I just feel like that was trying to be petty.
Like, why are you telling the media that?
Okay.
This is nuanced, right?
And I'm about, I'm about to sound like a hypocrite because I recently posted something on the internet and then also thought that about myself.
And I told Ike that this morning.
I was like, I had no business posting that, right?
Like, I need to stop fucking posting shit.
You're right.
Like, why did your ex, 20 years ago X post that?
Like, why did he, you're right.
Same for me.
I just feel like that's so tacky.
It is.
You're right.
It's fucking tacky.
I would never do something like that.
First of all, what's at my business?
If you haven't seen each other or how to run in in 20 years, you go into an interview
and let's say a reporter says, like, what was the interaction?
Couldn't you have just said it was cordial and moved on from it?
Like, why did you have to get into the details of her kids being in coach?
like as if he was a better parent because his wife and kids were in first class like no one gives a fuck
is that were his kids in first class i believe so and i am completely on board with what christen
cavaliery said and it it goes back to what we said about our kids living in a state of reality
her point is she's afforded herself to fly in first class and her kids
need to understand the value of money and they need to earn it if they want it.
So she will fly first class and they can fly coach.
I do understand that.
But I think that there could be a balance too.
And like obviously, so I think the balance would be maybe if you have the money, obviously,
you could fly them sometimes so that they understand what the difference is.
So if they want it, maybe that's something that they wouldn't want anyway.
I don't know.
I just feel like we're all humans.
I don't care if I'm sitting in first class,
if I'm sitting in comfort
or if I'm going to the same place.
Now, will I lie and say
I didn't enjoy flying first class
when NBC was paying for it?
Yeah, love that.
And I'm not going to take a coach seat over a first class seat
if they're paying for it.
No doubt.
No doubt.
It's always sweeter when somebody else does,
makes your coffee or somebody else pays for the flight.
Like, absolutely fucking lool.
But also, I'm kind of cheap like that.
I look at the flights and I'm,
I'm like, wait, I'm going to the same place, regardless of what seat I sit in, and I'm saving myself $1,200 by sitting in coach.
Now, I also fly Frontier.
I don't think we have, Philadelphia is an American hub.
I'm sure we have Frontier.
Is there something bad about Frontier?
No, there's nothing bad, but I had always flown Delta.
And then when I decided to be like this little Sandy Saver person,
I was like, you know what, I'm just going to try Frontier one time and see what it's like.
Is it okay?
I mean, yeah, but I've always slept on every Frontier flight that I've ever been on, so I can't really give you guys a rundown.
I don't think I've ever heard anything bad about Frontier.
Like, I didn't know that that was like a downgrade.
Wait, can we talk about how certain airlines are no longer giving drinks or snacks?
Well, I'm just waiting on my flight credit from American Airlines because they don't
fucked up. No, I don't understand the cost of flights, whether it's first class or, or coach.
I don't understand. I wish that I knew the, the back end of it all.
I don't think there's a rhyme or reason to tell you the truth.
Because if we're talking about, for a whole number's sake, we'll say, I got to pull out my
calculator. We'll say on an average, we'll just say 100. There's 100 passengers.
On a plane?
there's way more than 100 passengers.
No, I know, I'm just saying for whole numbers.
Oh, okay.
So we'll say 100 passengers, and on average, they're probably paying over 250.
So if we just go to 250, that's 25,000.
No, that's not even high enough.
So we'll say 100 passengers and we'll say times $300.
We'll average out.
That's $30,000.
Now, if you're in coach, you also have to pay for bags.
Mm-hmm.
So.
That is the catch on Frontier, I will tell you.
Oh, so it's like Spirit where you get a cheaper flight, but you have to pay for your bags.
You literally pay for everything.
If you use a gate agent or whatever, like when you go and check your bag,
if you don't pay with your credit card on the app for your checked bag and you use them,
then you pay a fee for using.
like one of their employees.
Do you understand what I'm saying?
Yes.
You pay for every bag that you check.
They're very strict on the carry-on policy.
I can tell you now I've flown frontier multiple times
that I probably would have flown Delta cheaper
if I would have thought about like all the added.
That was my next question.
So once all, and I am curious about the same thing for Spirit,
when Spirit was,
around. I mean, we're not talking about a weekend. You're only taking a carry on. That's not what we're
talking about. We're talking about a full trip where you're checking bags at the point that you're paying
for the flight. You're paying to use an agent if you need one or you're paying for every single bag.
When I came here, I had three bags. I would have paid for the flight, paid for the three bags,
and then probably had to pay for the agent or on the app or whatever else. It would have equaled
a coach seat with whatever bags checked. Because I think.
think is it coach you get one free bag or you have to pay for all of them no i think you get on delta
yeah i think you get one checked bag but for me because i have a delta amex then i get extra bags
because i have the amex for free okay so then for frontier you're paying roughly that you would
have paid the same or more i think it was like 79 so when i came to philly and anaheim for everything that
I checked, it was $79 per bag.
But you only had a carry on?
No, I checked a bag.
So what I'm saying is if you're costing out flights, make sure it feels so appealing
because the first number that you see, you're like, oh, that's a way cheaper flight.
But then you're not considering it's basically you serve yourself and you also have to pay
for every little thing.
I would say it makes sense for like,
a quick turnaround trip where you're not checking bags.
Correct.
That would be the most convenient way to fly frontier or an airline like spirit.
Well, since we're talking about travel, I want to get your opinion on this.
If you go to get on the plane and you do not have a checked bag, you're just bringing on a carry-on.
And there's now no overhead bin space and they want to check your bag for free.
I understand that you are getting a checked bag for free.
I have already taken it through the airport.
The bag that I brought, I might not want to be torn up by the airline.
So that's probably why I'm bringing it on in the first place.
Would you get pissed if you had brought like a nice bag, like brand new luggage?
It was a carry on.
It has nothing to do with that for me.
Me and Sterling went to the Bahamas and the check, they checked her bag that had all of her designer stuff and her jewelry in and it all got
stolen. Yes, you know. Because they can do bag checks. Sometimes they have to be searched. And Sterling's
mom was the one that taught me that you take on all your valuables. Like if you have a laptop,
if you have jewelry, if you have cameras, if you have all of that, you bring that as a carry on.
That is where I'm pissed off. Not necessarily the luggage itself. It's what's in it. So like I tell
when we travel, laptops, cameras, everything go in the carry on. Because you're not checking one.
No. You're value. They're also so rough with your stuff that like,
Like, there's been times that I have traveled and put my laptop in my checked bag and gotten there and something been wrong with it.
Like one time I traveled somewhere, had my laptop, and like, I have to have it for work, I get there and the thing won't even turn on.
Because they're so rough.
I think it's because they're so rough and it's just like bouncing around in there.
And somebody's probably going to write and say, well, then you should have stored it better.
Like, no, why are you throwing my bag like that?
Put it in a carry on.
It's a pain in the ass, but it will save your stuff.
But my whole thing is I've gone through the airport and I have not checked a bag and I have said carry on.
I also now don't want to wait for my luggage when I get off the plane because I've carried it everywhere at that point.
No, I completely get it. I completely get it.
And like, why are we spending all these like high prices for luggage for these?
these airlines to tear up our shit? I just think that you don't care like generally speaking right in
business in personal life whatever like I think just generally speaking most people do not put the
same type of care into other people's things. It's an afterthought they're not like this is their
they're just doing their job throwing the slinging these bags around. They're not thinking about the
human that owns the thing. They're not thinking about what the human is traveling for. They're not
thinking about like this is their job they're just slinging it around they're getting their job done
they don't they're not thinking about it further than that i mean i get it and i get it also a business
and they've got so many people that they're servicing but like why has this never been a conversation
before like maybe we interview maybe we interview the CEOs CEO of delta i'm calling you a
CEO of Frontier. I'm calling you. I don't fly American.
Philly's an American hub, so you can't really, you can get Frontier and Delta, but it's like,
they're, like, specialized. Like, we recently flew Delta because we flew out of somewhere that had Delta.
But, like, Philly is Pepsi products and American.
I don't know. She's like, oh. Pepsi is just, like, not it. Pepsi is not it at all.
Kale got a Pepsi last night, and she came out.
outside on the rooftop and I said, oh, is that a Coke? And she goes, no, it's Pepsi. Fuck off.
Fuck off. You sounded like Fran Dresser. Oh my God. Did you watch that show growing up?
The nanny? Oh my God. Mr. Sheffield. Are you a Nick at Night Watcher? Oh my God. George
Lopez. The nanny. Sister, sister. What else was on Nick at night? What was the lineup?
Home Improvement.
at some point.
You know, they did like every so often,
they would like switch it up a little bit fresh Prince of Bel-
Taylor.
Tim the Toolman Taylor.
Remember when Keel?
Stevens was Disney.
Remember when Keel said that she wanted to fuck Tim the Toy and Taylor?
And on that note, we've got to hit the road.
We are headed to Atlanta.
I guess filming a TV show.
Can't wait.
Tour stop.
Matt will be there.
That's exciting for you.
And.

Going to sleep?
