Starting point is 00:00:00 I hate gift giving and receiving receiving gifts is so weird. What do you say? Thank you? This is coffee convos with Kale Lowry and Lindsay Chrisley. I really want you to be in your feels Kale That does not interest me whatsoever. I feel very attacked by you a spirited discussion about motherhood friendship Family and life in the public eye. I'm just not with the fakery anymore. There's a fakery bakery around here. Here's Kale and Lindsay Hello everyone, it's coffee convos Hey Kale, how are you? Well I'm okay. I have no complaints. However, my neighbor's dog is barking and I don't think you guys can hear it
Starting point is 00:00:42 But it's really annoying me To be honest, it kind of sounds like Heather's vacuuming in the background. I don't know if we have had a spill What's exactly going on? I have pressure washer pressure washing going on on my back porch a malfunction with my fan My shower is completely cracked and busted the fuck up. So We're doing really well over here in this little Suburban part of Georgia. Wow. Okay, so that's a that's a lot going on. It is actually really lot going on I canceled a recording with Kristen this morning because I needed to sleep a little longer and
Starting point is 00:01:21 I Just you know when I don't have my kids. I'm trying to catch up on I don't know like It's just up on what just like we eat. We're always sleeping. I know and and also What was I gonna say? Oh, I have a brain fart. Yeah, I did I do try to watch some a lot of like trash TV and also other like regular good TV while I don't have my kids And so that's been really nice. But yeah, I I really do well I think that I don't know if this the sleeping is
Starting point is 00:02:00 Depression or the anti-depressants, you know how that goes like I just don't know what it is But I'm feeling better during the day when I do get up. So let me tell you honey I don't know what has been going on But it has hit all of us like Caroline and I literally thought that we had a virus and my friend KJ And then Heather also said that she was tired and I was like, okay Do we have a virus and like none of us knows about it? And it's only tired is the symptom because literally Want to pass away and I think it's just the heat
Starting point is 00:02:34 It might be it could be the heat. It really could be Um, what did y'all do for the fourth anything fun? I'm trying to think We watched fire was so my neighbors Right across the street. They do like a huge fourth of July thing every year And so when I met them that was like one of the things that they told me about And they spent like thousands of dollars on fireworks and they did like a huge professional show And so we were able to watch that from my driveway and it was so nice Um, and then also we got four-wheelers and so the kids are absolutely obsessed with the four four-wheelers now and
Starting point is 00:03:08 I think Elijah is too because he loves to like tinker in the garage. That's what he calls it And so he every every weekend now. He's gonna be in the garage tinkering with these damn four-wheelers Okay. Well, first of all, I also love four-wheelers So I need to know when I'm getting the invite to Dover Delaware to tear that shit up I haven't been on a four-wheeler since oh my gosh, probably It's been years. I would laugh so hard if I saw you on a four-wheeler. Like I think the last time I went on one was maybe When I went to Puerto Rico in 2016, maybe that was the last time the last time I was on one was
Starting point is 00:03:48 filming a scene for Chris Lee knows best in Hawaii like Years ago And I probably have pictures. I'll try to find it but literal Shit show. Um, I just wanted to tell you that 4th of July was a little bittersweet for me. Actually Why what happened? Well, because last year was the first
Starting point is 00:04:10 Holiday that I really missed with Will's family. We always go to the lake for the 4th of July And so I had all the stuff going on with the closing on this house and knowing Nobody else in the house was going to do that Um, nobody else knew but like we knew that we were filing for divorce and doing all of that and um, obviously like very overwhelmed I didn't even have freaking towels to move into this house. So like lots of moving parts and so
Starting point is 00:04:42 I remember specifically like a phone call that I had with Will's mom And she was like, oh like you aren't coming over to the lake for the weekend and I'm sure Now they probably look back on it and they're like, okay. That was like very telling um But I was like no like I have the lending going on with the house and like trying to get all that final paperwork done to Be able to close and at this point like Will's family thought that we were moving to this house together Oh Yeah, so
Starting point is 00:05:13 um Rewind a little bit back in 2017 when we filed for divorce the first time Will's mom found out that we were getting divorced on Good Morning America. Like Will didn't tell his parents And so I basically had to give Will an ultimatum this time to be like, hey After this weekend like you have to tell your parents and I told him like week after week Like when are you going to tell your parents?
Starting point is 00:05:37 Right because I knew that it was going to come out and when it did I didn't want to be the bad guy for them to be like, well, you know She announced it to the world before we found out, but I also didn't feel like it was my responsibility To tell his parents because those are his parents like I had to do it, you know so Yeah, it was just a little bit bittersweet did not Enjoy my 4th of july last year and it's like a holiday. I don't know if it's just like the south, but It's a holiday that I feel like is it's a pretty big deal
Starting point is 00:06:09 It I it's definitely always been a big deal. I feel like too So many people but this year it just felt and I know we're supposed to keep this lighthearted So I'm not going to say too much on it, but I I felt like There's nothing to celebrate this year. Like I just kind of felt like There's so much shitty shit going on that like we're not as free as we think we are And maybe I'm going to go to hell for saying that or people are going to rip me a new one for saying that But that's my personal feeling and I won't say anything more, but that's that's where I'm at I feel like when it comes time for holidays, whether it be like 4th of july christmas
Starting point is 00:06:45 Thanksgiving whatever that It definitely has to do with like what life phase you're in on how well you're going to enjoy that holiday. This is true Yeah, this is yeah, I could agree with that for sure Like last year. I wasn't I wasn't down but like this year. I definitely was and super un-american of me we had japanese um And really just like enjoyed our time went to the pool caroline did a drive-by and Literally never seen
Starting point is 00:07:14 A friend do something greater or faster in my life She came over Dropped white claws off at the pool stayed outside the gate put them over the fence And left it was like the greatest thing that I've ever seen in my life and so enjoyed a couple white claws It was just it was a good time which leads me to ask Um, anyone who's listening to this podcast. Are you white claw? Are you truly? I don't like seltzer water. So I don't think I like either of them Have you even had a white claw? I have not I have not had either but I don't like where have you been
Starting point is 00:07:53 Uh depressed and I don't think that alcohol is the answer I would when I when I beat this depression. I'll definitely let you know because I don't I just don't know that drinking is the is appropriate for me right now, but um Kale white claw has been out longer than you have been depressed, ma'am Oh Like it's been for a while And so I was gonna ask you like what your favorite flavor was because I feel like you're either white claw or you're truly And I'm definitely a white claw girl
Starting point is 00:08:24 And I will say they they smell pretty good. Um Um, we have truly is here because Elijah. He just he has some sometimes he had two trulys with dinner last night and um Wonder what flavors they were they were Is there a watermelon? Yeah, I think there is a watermelon truly. It was not like the regular truly thing So it must have been like a remix situation. Um, it actually smelled pretty good. Like it did smell good. Um But he Yeah, he he liked he likes truly no one better come for me whenever I say this But white claw
Starting point is 00:08:59 Their new blueberry flavor. I think it's new Is so fire and it's the best in a frosted mug The best don't mess with me. Um, if you are a truly fan, that's probably because you like sweeter drinks Okay, well then that makes sense. Um I'll I'll get a picture of the truly because I just googled it and I don't think it's the watermelon one It's a it's gotta be something else. It's a remix. We've got a good freaking remix It's something like that. But wait, okay. I'm really pissed off. I have to tell you this I am really pissed off because I have this. Um, I've been eating a lot of fruit lately
Starting point is 00:09:34 So I don't know like what my diet's telling me, but I'm not a super fruit person I really don't I'm not a fruit person. I don't love fruit. So, um I've been eating a lot of it lately and I went I try to buy it pretty regularly So it stays fresh and I go through it pretty quickly because the kids also love it and I got this mango and Strawberry bowl and it's perfect because it would probably last me like two days. Um And I went to sit down today at my computer this morning to podcast and I opened it and it tastes like
Starting point is 00:10:06 It's mango and strawberry and it tastes like fizzy like it tastes like it's carbonated So I'm like, uh, I don't think this is like normal and I google it. I think it's not I think it's like bad, right? If there's no mold on it anywhere, but it tastes like it's It's carbonated. Yeah, so I think that that probably means it's getting ready to Like you're a scientist on here. Yeah, it's like something like that And that's when you know when fruit's going bad That's fucked up because it looks fresh like it looks like there's nothing wrong with it So you can imagine the feeling and the surprise that I felt when I put the fruit in my mouth and it tasted like
Starting point is 00:10:46 And it felt like a soda And I texted Kristen and I'm like, am I poisoned? Like is this fermented fruit? Like am I gonna get high like in good dinosaur because I don't want to be high You know what I mean, you're like am I actually drinking wine and I have no idea This has got to be muscado because it's I'm just like Why is it fizzy and I'm so pissed off because it looks fresh. It looks good I just bought it like it's brand new and it literally says on the on the freaking lid protecting the art Oh perfecting the art afresh. Fuck you
Starting point is 00:11:17 It's fermented Like I'm trying to be fucking healthy and y'all y'all are trying to poison me Well, let me tell you, um I got some peaches over the weekend and I shit you not You know how I talked about having that Nat issue with my fiddle fig Yeah, and like she was just like bad news Well, I bought these peaches and I thought I was doing so good I got like a little pretty white bowl and I got my strainer out put my peaches in there rinsed them all off
Starting point is 00:11:47 And I do not like peaches in their refrigerator. Like I don't like them cold I like them room temperature And you know, I I dried them all off and I put them in this pretty bowl and I put them next to a candle on my counter I shit you not I went in there the next morning and those bitches were rank Like how did they do that overnight like literally piss me off looked bruised and battered Okay, and there were gnats Fruit flies going everywhere and I was like, okay, they immediately have to vacate the premises

No, he's about to call me I guarantee you Oh my god, who answered the phone? Hold on. That was Will. Oh Are you okay? Do you know what my ex-husband sounds like? Hold on a second. Watch this. Oh my god. Hold on I'm gonna say I just got the strangers call Hey, can I speak to Jackson? Yeah, who's there?
Starting point is 00:17:53 I know who just called mommy. What? It was Kale that just called correct. No, it wasn't Kale Yeah, it was. No, it wasn't. I just got the strangest call Did you get a call too? Is this a prank? No Thanks, Thomas I just got a call About a sweepstakes that I interviewed you in on facebook And they said that you want it and you're gonna get to meet the Kardashians and Devin Booker
Starting point is 00:18:22 Who's Devin Booker? Is this real? Pardon? Is this real? This is real They said that you're gonna get to go on a plane with a live-in Are they, are they, I'm sure they see, are they dressed up people? Are they dressed up people? No You're gonna meet freaking Devin Booker We're going to LA? Yes
Starting point is 00:18:45 Well, why would he be in LA? Well, where else would he be? What? He plays for Phoenix He's, you think he's in Phoenix? Well, didn't you see those paparazzi pictures with him with Kindle? Yeah Yeah, because he's in LA Jackson? Jackson?
Starting point is 00:19:11 Yes This is Kailin Lowry and Lindsay Chrisley and you have been pranked on Coffee Convos podcast Wait, Lincoln's calling me because I texted him. Who's Devin Booker? Oh, hold on. Hold on. Hey, I just got hung up on. Hold on. I'm gonna answer Hey, Lincoln Wait, who's in the background? Tell him to stop bouncing the ball Um, no, I didn't know who Devin Booker was so I thought I would ask you
Starting point is 00:19:53 Oh, okay Where does he live? Does he live in LA or does he live in Phoenix? Phoenix, he plays for the Suns Oh, okay. I wasn't sure I had to google him while we were recording Okay, thanks for the info. All right, love you I texted him and I'm like who's Devin Booker and he starts FaceTiming me He's like, do you do you not know who Devin Booker is? Like you're the worst I I have no idea. I don't know anything. I just the word Jackson. Is he upset?
Starting point is 00:20:29 He's probably so pissed. He's probably like worst mom. Wait, does he know who the Kardashians are? Oh, yes, honey. He knows every Kardashian every Kardashian child. He's he Like did a whole family tree and he was like, okay So who does this child belong to and who does this one belong to like very obsessed? loves Kardashians loves the NBA Um, and he thinks Kendall is just so cool because she's dated multiple NBA players We need to get Jackson and Lincoln together because they both love basketball so much and Lincoln spits off these stats like
Starting point is 00:21:07 I I have no idea where he gets them. Like I don't know how he memorizes them why he knows them Um, but he loves it Jackson's so pissed He's texting me and he's like, you're the worst I just asked Lincoln. Do you know who Devin Booker's girlfriend is? So we'll see if he has if he's up to date on the Kardashians We love the Jenners car Jenners. Um, that's so funny. I
Starting point is 00:21:33 Jackson I hope he pranks you back He probably will he's like, is this a prank call and I'm like, no No, wait, let's see what Lincoln said. No No Jenner He's gonna be like so what? Um, okay, so I have to tell you that while I've been home without children for three days I watched this I was scrolling on tiktok because sometimes I'd rather watch tiktok than tv to be honest and um
Starting point is 00:21:59 I was on tiktok and I saw this video. It was viral. It was like 500,000 likes or something like that of this documentary called There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane No, what is this? so I Naturally had to get on hbo max immediately and watch it and essentially This mom and her family they go camping and it's her and her husband. They're two children and they're three nieces Um, and I think they're dog. I think they had one or two dogs
Starting point is 00:22:30 so They end up leaving the campground at the same time the mom in the minivan with five kids and the dad in the truck with The dog They leave at the same time and the mom Diane She's gonna stop at mcdonald's to grab the kids breakfast and then stop and get gas Um, she ends up going the wrong way down a one way on a highway at 80 miles an hour and Everyone dies except for one person
Starting point is 00:23:00 so Out of the five kids one survives everyone else dies including diane and the head on Collision the people in the other car They also pass away and they're just trying to figure out like what was wrong with her because one of the nieces or one of the Children calls to say like there's something wrong with aunt Diane. She can't see whatever she ends up leaving her phone on Like under a bridge like she pulls over I don't know this huge. You have to watch it like I cannot
Starting point is 00:23:27 I'm like mad about it a little bit like it was a little infuriating So you need whenever you have time between now and like next week maybe or the week after please watch There's something wrong with anti and it's on h. A. O max. Okay. I'm gonna watch it. This sounds super interesting But what turned you on to this like what made you I've never heard of it Well, so the tiktok video the whole thing was like was she drunk or was she not drunk? And the family is saying that this she would never drink Um, she really was like an occasional drinker And from the time that they both left the campgrounds to the time that the accident occurred
Starting point is 00:24:03 Like when would she have been drinking? She went to mcdonald's on camera She seemed sober the person who took her order said that she didn't smell like alcohol and she seemed sober Same thing at the gas station. She went in I think looking for like tylenall or adville or something And she left there was literal alcohol in the gas station on the camera And she did she left with nothing like she was looking for Like tylenall or adville or something and so they were trying and it said that she had a 0.19 Level of alcohol in her system, which is equivalent to 10 drinks And thc in her system
Starting point is 00:24:38 But her and her husband both left the campground at the same time around I want to say it was like around 945 in the morning Oh, and so he didn't smell anything or notice anything He wouldn't have let her in the van with the five kids if he thought that she had been drinking And so it was just like this whole thing like how did that come up on the toxicology report? If that's like not something that she would really do And so they were just trying to I don't want to say my opinion on it until you watch it because I don't want to piss anybody off, but um
Starting point is 00:25:10 Yeah, so it turned me on I tiktok really turned me on to to look it up Tiktok turns me on to everything. I'm like literally like it's the new google like shut google down because you can find everything on tiktok Wait, I have to tell you before I tell you about this article that I saw that has me completely alarmed Jackson has texted us and said you're going to turn this stupid prank into real life honestly I agree. You might as well go take him to meet devin booker. Oh Oh my gosh. Okay, wait, so I was just scrolling
Starting point is 00:25:45 Through social media this morning and a couple of my mom friends had posted about this article That was on the new york post and it says school board director Jen mason to teach sexual pleasure class to nine year olds. What no no no no no start over start over start over school board director Jen mason to teach sexual pleasure class to nine year olds This was on the new york post It says a washington state school board director who owns a sex shop Is making headlines after announcing she will teach sex education classes for children as young as nine on topics such as Sexual anatomy for pleasure and safer sex practices for all kinds of sexual activity
Starting point is 00:26:29 The class is for nine to twelve year olds is an introduction to topics related to relationships puberty bodies and sexuality We focus on what makes healthy versus unhealthy friendships and romantic relationships The science of how puberty works consent and personal boundaries Defining decks and discussing why people may or may not choose to engage in sexual activities No Mason and out there will be four three hour sex education classes and they will um teach
Starting point is 00:27:02 basically like broken down parts to nine and twelve year olds and these classes and then and one another class they're going to do 13 to 17 year olds and the topics include what is sex um Kinds of solo and partnered sexual activities sexual and out anatomy for pleasure and reproduction gender and sexual identities safer sex practice for all kinds of sexual activities um Wow
Starting point is 00:27:30 i'm gonna say no so I remember Back when I was like in fourth grade. I think it was at the end of fourth grade We got a letter home that like your parents had to sign and if you were going to be a part of um reproductive Talks about like your like they did one for girls and then like one for guys and they were separated
Starting point is 00:27:54 And it was talking about your period, which I had not started at that point. Um, and I remember My teacher I was always so afraid of getting that. Um, what's it called when you leave a tampon in for too long and like forget about it Tia said toxic shock syndrome. Yeah, so I was afraid of toxic shock syndrome for like basically my whole life including now. Um We learned about that how to insert a tampon like how to put in a pad that kind of stuff and then I think it was May 6th grade that we had Sex ed and they went through like reproduction and stuff like that To me, I feel like this is taking it a little
Starting point is 00:28:33 Far and for nine year olds, but at the same time I feel like kids that are nine years old are also being exposed to certain things so there's got to be like a line somewhere where Is too much education too much I feel like This is tough because I'm I'm open-minded
Starting point is 00:28:57 So I am open-minded, but off the top of my off the top of you know, this conversation I'm thinking no, I'm not putting this up to someone else to do I don't Lincoln's about to be nine and he is 100% not ready to have any type of sex talks Oh, seriously like Jackson still has good marks Yeah, like Literally like my nine year old is and I and I hear you. I think that you're right. I think especially on school buses and in school people are talking about it because I don't know if I um if I said it on here before
Starting point is 00:29:31 I don't know if I've talked about it on any of the podcast, but Isaac was telling me about how people at school will talk He's going into seventh grade And Isaac knew what pansexual was bisexual Gay straight lesbian like he knew all of that and I've never We've talked about gay and straight and lesbian, but we've never talked about pansexual He even told me something about Omni-sexual I feel like we learned so much from our kids these days that I'm pretty sure he told me that
Starting point is 00:30:00 Someone was omni and I said And I literally had to look it up so I'm kind of like I think Learning these things is great to be able to have the education because I think more knowledge is Powered right but at the same time I think at nine years old That seems a little early to me But that's a little early to me with my nine year olds
Starting point is 00:30:26 Like is anyone else right listening to this that has nine year olds that they feel that this would be Unappropriate class and then also you've got to look at are there possible benefits to this for them? knowing about this it's instead of experimenting with unsafe sex Oh 100% I think that there is there is benefits, but I don't I don't know that I would leave it up to somebody else I feel like I don't know though. Maybe I have boys and um, you know, they're not entirely ready for that, but I don't know. I feel like this is so hard. I mean some I will say I'm sure some parents are uncomfortable talking about that with their own children and I fully understand that but I do think
Starting point is 00:31:10 We should be open-minded to at least teaching Things because I think if I would have known about like self-pleasure prior to I don't know though. I was thinking because like how do you know about self-pleasure prior to Sex with another person penis and vagina Do you think that we can always say like Well, I would have done this or I would have done that like we don't really know But do you possibly think that if you had had the knowledge of that that you would have experimented with
Starting point is 00:31:43 sex as early on as you did In theory, I would say no, I wouldn't have but knowing the trauma that I went through as a child and I wasn't actually searching to have sex I was searching for like a connection. However, that being said had I known about Self-pleasure, I would have known what it's supposed to what's supposed to happen when I have sex And I didn't have my first thing until my first orgasm until I was 21 years old and I was already married So I think in theory. Yes, I wouldn't have Maybe I would have I don't know if that's really hard to answer because I don't I don't know because I I don't think that I was actually searching to have sex
Starting point is 00:32:22 I wanted to be connected to someone um Yeah, that's that's really hard. That's a tough. That's a tough So this article says while some people think of sex as only being when a penis goes into a vagina Sex can really be any activity that a person does with themselves or others to become aroused There's no such thing as real sex and it's okay if your definition of sex is different from someone else's Mason is a certified sex coach and educator And holds other classes and coaching lessons to help people work toward your intimacy goals
Starting point is 00:32:54 I think my biggest thing with this is that I think certain things putting it in the hands of the school system to teach our children this that like We should be taking more of an approach to teach our kids at home Before they're hearing it from someone other than us Agreed. I do agree with that and I'm guilty as a parent of trying to keep Jackson sheltered and naive for as long as possible without having these hard conversations, but I think that um
Starting point is 00:33:28 While I will admit that I also am willing to be a little bit more diligent when I I read things like this and I'm like, okay as a parent This is probably important for your child to know but maybe not important for a school board director to teaching them right, I agree with that especially because I guess the less naive I am about school teachers the more apprehensive I am about it being taught in schools because I've seen way too many teachers on the news You know for inappropriate conduct with students and things like that that it would scare me to
Starting point is 00:34:07 Do you get what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah, I do. Yeah um I would love to know what other people think about this and we'll make sure that we post this article for you guys to be able to get the the whole Gist of what is going on here So I recently did a test through embark
Starting point is 00:34:28 For buddha. I wanted to see, you know, what kind of I wanted to get a breed Confirmation and also some health insights and bark was an easy choice Um, the process to test him was super easy and they have twice the data as competition And bark gave me really valuable information about buddha and possible health risks And he is 100 kink or so. So that was confirmed I really really loved it It was super simple just to swab in his mouth to get the saliva for the test It's like a little cheek swab and they have a free shipping
Starting point is 00:35:02 They have free shipping with prepaid envelope to ship your dog swab back And 75 percent of dogs are actually at risk or a carrier for genetic health condition And buddha came back negative for everything. So that was really really nice If you have a mixed breed dog embark test for over 350 breeds that's more breeds than any other DNA test And 61 percent of pet owners plan to adjust their dog's routine or feel more prepared to be a good pet parent after using embark Which I think is really nice. So I actually did this for georgia too And georgia is a mixed breed and I just wanted to make sure that she is exactly what I thought she was
Starting point is 00:35:39 And she absolutely Is and I think that it's so cool to be able to get these types of insights on your pets Um, we definitely didn't have this like a long time ago and I think that it is so super cool And I think it's great to be able to know if your dog is like predisposed to like Any type of future health conditions the more, you know, I feel like the better it is for sure Well, and we test ourselves So why not test our pets that are with us for 10 plus years sometimes for sure embark offers the most scientifically advanced dog DNA test Their test analyzes more than 230,000 genetic markers
Starting point is 00:36:17 That's over twice as much genetic data as the competition And right now embark has a limited time offer on their breed and health kit and pure breaded kit for our listeners Go to embark vet.com to get free shipping and save $40 with promo code coffee combos Visit embark vet.com and use promo code coffee combos to save $40 today Delta 8 thc is the new cannabinoid that is sweeping the hemp and health and wellness market CBDx.com sells delta 8 products which feel just like cannabis This is legal per the 2018 farm bill that congress passed and there are vape products actual flower bud Gummies even concentrates and they ship to 39 states

Please be responsible All products are 20 off on the site when you use promo code coffee Outside of that. I need to ask you a question. Okay? What are your thoughts on um This could be a significant other a friend any person who's really around you that always puts their phone upside down um
Starting point is 00:37:40 I never put my phone upside down really. Uh, I don't care Um, I know some people do it because I did see a tick tock, of course That said if you put it upside down, it won't the battery won't go dead as fast because it's not lighting up every single time You get a notification Wait, what is that what you're asking about like putting your phone face down? Yeah, so Yeah, so but I'm thinking more of I feel like that's an excuse that like a cheater would possibly use. Oh 100 percent, right? 100 percent. Oh 1000 percent to me because I'm traumatized I'm sketchy. I'm skeptical about and like if I'm seeing someone and they put their phone face down like immediately
Starting point is 00:38:23 The traumatized version of me is like, okay, you're cheating or doing something. You don't want me to see Um, because yeah, I definitely think that Okay, so I'm gonna play this tick tock. Oh my god. I'm scared I am I am alarmed. That's when your man puts his phone face down That's new What is he hiding? He has been seaming off lately Who is he texting? Oh, no, no, she will see how much I spent in candy crush
Starting point is 00:38:53 So what do you think like if you were I guess if you were dating someone And their phones always face down. Is it because are they doing it because they don't want you to see the notifications that are coming up on it? Yes Is that why they're doing it? Yes. I was just trying to give the benefit of the doubt with like the phone Going dead, but even like last night Elijah went to bed before me and he put the phone He plugged it in and he put the phone next to him versus on the nightstand where he normally puts it And immediately I was like who the why why do you have it so that you you have it in a position
Starting point is 00:39:31 Where you can feel it if I was I don't go through his phone. I went through his phone one time never again I don't need to because there's nothing in it, but Immediately it wasn't even face down. It was face up and I was like, oh you're keeping your phone extra close to you Like I didn't say any of this to them. This is just traumatized kale in my own head um and I was just like what the fuck and I don't know like it's just such a weird. I don't know I'm traumatized so I think that naturally I'm gonna think oh you're cheating. You're talking to somebody else
Starting point is 00:40:01 um I know he's not because he'll literally charge it You know on my side on my nightstand or he'll leave it in the car when he pumps gas. He literally doesn't give a shit um I feel like it's a bad habit of like someone who's cheated before so like 1000 percent So necessarily they might not be doing it at that moment when they're turning their phone upside down It's just a bad look because you know that that is a pattern like I don't feel like it's a natural thing to like put your phone upside down
Starting point is 00:40:30 I feel like you have to take an extra step to like turn it over And so I'm like maybe I'm just like reading too much into this No, I don't think you are when I see someone do this. I'm like, okay, so you've cheated before or like, okay You're shady as fuck Yeah, no, I yeah, I do get that and maybe we are traumatized. I don't I don't keep my phone upside down. Um, I feel like when I was being a little shady You did it. I did it. Yeah
Starting point is 00:41:03 And you took the extra step to make sure it was upside down, didn't you? Um Yeah, and I even went further than that and like would have things on top of my phone So I would hear somebody if they were to Stop wait, can you back up and tell us what your cheating situation looked like? Well, okay, so To me, I don't think I was cheating but my I would But the person that the the person that I was seeing I guess I was more so like leading them on Mm-hmm. And so to me it wasn't a relationship, but to them it was a relationship
Starting point is 00:41:38 Um, and so I don't want to discredit that and I don't want them to feel like They're wrong because I can see why they thought it was a relationship. I was I was very much in the wrong So I would put my phone. I would be texting other people Wouldn't let anyone know I was like in a situation ship because to me it wasn't a relationship And then I would put my phone on face down and then I would put stuff on my nightstand on top of it Like my glasses or my water bottle. I would have it like partially on my phone So if someone was to go through my phone, they would have to remove this stuff on top of my phone And I would hear them before they go through my phone kill that
Starting point is 00:42:13 So basically what this boils down to is that all of these extra steps that People go through and every person has probably been guilty to like some extent of this But like it's so much easier to just be honest 100% no, and here's the thing about what I was doing and 1000% not saying it's okay because it's not Um, I learned this from someone who was a serial cheater on me and would do these things to me So then I turned around and I used those things in my next I'll call it a situation ship Um, it was like the the the the cheaty because I wasn't the one cheating. I was the one getting cheated on became
Starting point is 00:42:56 The cheater, but I wasn't actually even hanging out with these other people It was just texting which is again not okay and like not even worth it like I'm literally Like it was definitely a me problem and I went to therapy about it because when I talked to my therapist I'm like I when I got out of that situation ship I was still doing those weird things with my phone and I was living by myself and I wasn't seeing anybody at the time She was like kill I wasn't sleeping at night and I wasn't even having anyone with me So it was like why am I worried about someone going through my phone when no one's here?
Starting point is 00:43:28 You know what I mean? So that's how I knew like psychologically cheating can fuck you up Wait, so can we just talk about cheating for a second then? Yeah, it's not worth it. The grass is not greener on the other side I don't care what you think is going to happen. The grass is not fucking greener well, and it's just such a Like draining process. Yeah To go through that. Um I feel like if you've ever participated In cheating to any capacity and we know that I consider
Starting point is 00:44:01 porn cheating so um People can disagree can agree don't really care either way. Um, but I just think it's something that is not Worth it. It's like you're going through all these extra miles to like live this double life For what reason it's like And maybe until you've been in a situation where it's been like really bad and you can really see things for Exactly what they are
Starting point is 00:44:29 It's when you can understand from like a deeper level Of like, okay been there done that got the t-shirt and was not worth fucking wearing No, it's not it's not and I'm sure I'm sure that there will be people that write in that say, you know They cheated and they ended up together and they're happily married for 20 years and I believe it and I think that very few and far between it does work out for people but I think overall you're putting in so much effort to It's just like the seek the what is it called the thrill the seek of the thrill or you're seeking out the thrill of it And it's like once that newness and that secretive like
Starting point is 00:45:05 Sneaking around stuff wears off. You are gonna face real Life problems with this new person and it's gonna end up being the same as your partner before And I actually did watch another tiktok and it was like most it was something along the lines of People will be 85 happy in their relationship like their their partner fills them up 85 percent But they go looking for the the remaining 15 percent to fill them up And then when all that newness wears off and stuff, they realize oh shit. This person is only that 15 percent They're not the 85 percent. They're not they're you know, no one is going to be give you 100 percent. They're just not
Starting point is 00:45:47 they're they're just not and Well, that's what disney's done to us, right? Like oh 100 percent You see these fairy tales and like this is how it's supposed to work out and you see movies like Well, I'm not gonna say the notebook because I do think I'm gonna be attacked for this. Okay. I already know. I think that the notebook is a realistic love story I don't remember like the if you tell me that you don't even remember the notebook or You didn't watch it. Who was someone keeping keeping the letters from her or something. They never got to yeah and her mom
Starting point is 00:46:22 And I think that going through trials and tribulations through a relationship But then coming out on the other end of it like that is realistic But disney has set us up to make us think that like if it's not a fairy tale and it's not If it's not like a perfect situation with perfect circumstances that You can find something Greater and it's easier and it is true. It is easier to walk away than do the work It is it is easier. Um
Starting point is 00:46:54 That was one of the one of the topics that came up on our Facebook group like the roommate stage How do you work through that? How do you get through that that period and what's that? What's the roommate stage like when you're in a relationship with someone and they it starts to feel more like a roommate than a lover Yeah Um, and the person asking was just like, how do I how do we get through this? How do we work through this? Um, and I don't have an answer because I've always left before that and um, I wish I had answers on it because I I would love advice on that because I'm sure
Starting point is 00:47:26 I'm sure a lot of relationships go through the roommate part the roommate phase Um, and I don't know if that'll happen to Elijah and myself, but when it does I would love tips on how to get through it I think that that's the The thing like when people hit rough patches they try to find something better that excites them and Makes them feel like their time is worthwhile instead of doing the hard work when you do go through those phases Um, not realizing that if you would have just gone through that phase with that person And done the hard work that the benefits are probably far greater than seeking
Starting point is 00:48:07 You know instant satisfaction from somewhere else. That's literally so my cousin texted me on in may And she was asking me, you know, who's this new guy whatever and I told her and she said No matter and this is no shot. No shade no shot at Elijah whatsoever. She's just trying to Help me. She said Segway no matter how nice Elijah is please remember that the honeymoon phase last 18 months to two years So don't add him to the dad list until you've properly gotten to know him and all of his faults You don't need a fourth custody schedule to coordinate. I'll step off my soapbox for now
Starting point is 00:48:45 well I will say Even if you had a fourth one hypothetically whenever It would probably be the same as all your other ones because get in the fucking bus. We're going on this is like I said that too On sunday. I was like, this is literally like a school bus stop where I'm just dropping off at At the respective bus stops. They had this point. You're just like whatever. What's adding one more
Starting point is 00:49:14 But um, no, I I would love I would love feedback. I wish I had um more answers for the roommate phase situation because I don't know but um cheating is exhausting And even if it's you not getting cheated on and you're doing the cheating You're really like scarring yourself because some of those habits you're going to carry with you into other relationships so where you don't want to cheat and um Like me and I I still feel like wait, so do you think wants a cheater always a cheater? No, I actually don't so for a long time. I did
Starting point is 00:49:48 But I'm going to tell you why I have a friend who crazy story about her and I we had mutual friends, but we had never met in person And the first time we ever met in person She like I knew her from other friends that we had so she was like, hey, do you want to go to hawaii? And I was like, yeah, fuck it. Let's go. I had never met this girl in person um, and She her and I connected because we just were kind of like in a weird place in our lives. This was uh 2016 uh, was it 2016? Yeah, it was 2016 right before I got pregnant with lux and um, so I flew to oklahoma
Starting point is 00:50:24 And then from oklahoma, we flew to hawaii and she was we talked about like all of our relationships and all kinds of stuff And she told me how she was like basically the serial cheater And I was like wow and then the next time I had seen her she had met the love of her life And she was like I would never cheat on this woman like she was so In love she and they're they're engaged. They have a baby now um, and So I I definitely don't think that wants a cheater always a cheater I think you know, it may be harder to break it once cheating is involved in one relationship. So like
Starting point is 00:50:56 For example, um, I'll use me and chris as an example like because of how much cheating went on in our relationship Um Had we stayed together? I think it would have been a lot easier for him to continue cheating throughout the rest of our relationship Um, but I don't necessarily think that you know, if he was to get in a relationship with someone else that he would cheat on them Does that make sense? Yeah, it does make sense and I agree. I don't think wants a cheater always a cheater. I do think that there are Exceptions to every rule, right? So I'm sure that there are people out there that are just serial Cheaters they're going to cheat regardless of whatever situation that they're in
Starting point is 00:51:35 But then I do think that sometimes things are situational um, and It's a habit that was formed and created in that relationship and not necessarily going to be carried over into another Um, I think that you also have people who have personalities that once they've learned The lesson from that that they don't want to repeat the cycle um, if you're in therapy and you're getting the work done that you need to get done to work on yourself because I personally think that a lot of the cheating has to do with you and your issues and less the other person
Starting point is 00:52:14 Agreed. I do agree with that. Like I I 100% agree with that So I would just love to know if anybody else thinks because there are some people out there They're hell bent. They're like wants a cheater always a cheater like if you a cheater you a cheater I just don't I mean for some I don't think there's an absolute For anything, you know, like there's always exceptions to the rule. I think maybe for a majority of people Of course a cheater always a cheater, but I do think there are exceptions This episode of coffee combos podcast is brought to you by huggy's special delivery diapers So as you guys know Lindsay and I are polar opposites, but we also have a lot in common
Starting point is 00:52:50 And one of those things is that we're both boy moms. We're both moms Motherhood is such a special thing and we know how overwhelming but exciting it can feel especially as a first time mom And I will never forget. I know I've told this story on the podcast before but when I moved into my first apartment with Isaac and him just having Explosive blowout the first night we moved in And I didn't have a washer or dryer. He had to go to the laundry mat at like midnight Um, and it's just one of those things that you know when I became a second third and fourth time mom Like I was going to make sure that I had the proper diapers and essentials. I absolutely
Starting point is 00:53:28 Love huggies. Um Jackson always had a really hard time with like peeing out of his diaper at night And I could not figure it out So someone told me to switch over to huggies and I did I also used huggy's wipes and absolutely Love them so much. I was in the car with jackson the other day
Starting point is 00:55:27 and we were just driving down the road and he was blabbing about and He told me that he had gone to the movies with his dad and I was like, oh, yeah Well, how was that and he said well? We went to the dollar store first and I was like will with the damn dollar store like he can't get out of that place He wanted to leave them on each of the seats in the movie theater. No, no He he probably did buy candles when he was in there but he also bought candy And tried to take it to the movies with them
Starting point is 00:55:59 so, um, I guess I don't know if the can drinks came from Will's house or if he purchased them at the dollar store or like where this transpired but supposedly they get to the movies and and get in the line to get the popcorn and Will has the stuff in his pockets And they start to walk and stuff starts falling out Of his pockets. Yes. And like the movie theater worker Sees this and was like, um, did you buy that here?
Starting point is 00:56:34 And of course will jackson claims that will was like, yeah, I bought that here or whatever well then And supposedly he saw like the can drink or something like the can drink fell out or something like that And he was like, well, I definitely know like you didn't buy that here. So Jackson claims that they made him take it all back out to the car And I would love to know who sneaks in snacks to the movie theaters and as a man Like will should have tried to act like he was carrying in a diaper bag or something like that if he was gonna have that much shit Wait, so
Starting point is 00:57:10 I thought it was like a myth that you can't bring in snacks from outside. No, I think that like you're not supposed to But they're fucking wrong about this. They're very they're very expensive in the movie theater I've brought in a whole damn meal to the movies before like a whole fucking meal I just I bring in snacks because it's cheaper Wait, so tell me the process of this are you going to show them in your purse? They're not going to check my freaking purse. But like, what are you shoving in there? Um candy and snacks from the dollar store Wait, does everybody do this?
Starting point is 00:57:45 I mean, I personally like a lot of the snacks at the movie theater. So for myself, I'm gonna buy them But if my kids want like candy candy, I'm not getting it at the movie theater Like you can fuck off for your five dollar bag of m&m's like I'm not doing that I have four fucking kids like there's no way Like y'all want to y'all want to rob me to go see a movie that I can wait to come out on fucking demand Kale, you're writing right now. I'm pissed like they should not have sent him to the car Next, Will if you're listening to this, please have a diaper bag um
Starting point is 00:58:19 A briefcase fucking anything and or put a little backpack on Jackson So put will they might I'm scared because I don't want them to think it's like a bomb or something So actually just put a little backpack on Jackson and shove all the snacks in there because that's bullshit I I seriously just cannot like First of all, I've never like gone to the dollar store to make a special run for like movie theater snacks Obviously the more economically friendly thing to do Think it's a great idea. Um, you have to be a super pre planner to be doing that And I'm not really thinking about the snacks until I see them. So
Starting point is 00:59:00 That's that. Uh, I would love to know Who all brings in these snacks and also Why did will not think about? pop in the can of A soft drink right like shouldn't you've got like a twist-off bottle like to be a little bit more And is it inconspicuous is that the right word? Mm-hmm like incognito. Yeah Yeah, would love would love to know who else is doing this outside of that I have not watched a series
Starting point is 00:59:30 We talk about this regularly that like I don't really watch tv anything like unless it's a documentary Something it's like new and trending something that we're going to cover on the podcast don't watch But I was just scrolling through netflix because I had some like spare time And I saw this show that I thought was called Virginia river, but it's virgin river Mm-hmm. And have you watched it? I have not I have not even heard of it. Okay, so it's a romantic drama On jackson's calling me a million times. He's probably like mom is definitely like yeah, I wonder y'all leaving him go meet him So this show is on netflix and If you watch it, you know how good it is. It is called virgin river
Starting point is 01:00:14 Um, and it's about a midwife and she goes to like this little town and it's just like super tiny she comes from walsing angeles and Trying to leave like her past behind her and I'm so invested in this show every single night when I'm talking to suburban dad. I'm like, okay I'm it's time to watch virgin river like it's that it's that time And this is scripted. It's a scripted show. Yeah, and it's so good. Okay. Like it's I'm gonna look it up I'm gonna do that. It's so good. But I'm feeling like
Starting point is 01:00:51 You have to watch a couple episodes to like get into it and suburban dad said that like nothing's happening, right? he's like literal seven episodes I've sat and watched this with you and You know stuff's like supposed to be happening and they're dragging it out and it's gonna happen But like it's it's taking a lot of time Okay, okay. I'm gonna look this up and I'll get back to you on my thoughts Literally, if I don't answer a text message, it's because I'm watching virgin river. Okay
Starting point is 01:01:19 Okay. Yes. Um, I saw this one video of kim Kardashian And I want to play it because I feel like it's literally me But a decade of my life with this person and I just have so much love for him. So that'll never change But it doesn't mean that they're The right one for you and that's okay, too That feels like my life Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm Do you feel like that with any of your kids dads?
Starting point is 01:01:49 um You're like, no, lindy. I didn't spend a decade with anybody I I didn't spend a decade, but I mean, I guess that's how I feel about hobby Like I still like there's so much love there as much as I hate them sometimes um I really feel like you have to be able you have to love someone in order to hate them Does that make sense like I I don't I feel completely indifferent about joe and I feel completely indifferent about chris But for hobby, I do feel like there is like there's so much love there, but not
Starting point is 01:02:22 Oh my god, you're my person I want to spend the rest of my life with you person just like love as an I respect you as My son's father and not that I don't respect the others There's dads as as as my kids fathers, but I think because I was married to him That's what I was gonna say. I think that's the difference Yeah, and I don't know why because the love I had for chris was very it was very different um I don't know how to describe it. Um
Starting point is 01:02:50 But I think I think what the the video what kim was saying is is true to to hobby for for me Well, it's definitely true to will for me I don't know if this is how you feel about hobby, but this is how I feel about will like He's going to be in my life To some capacity for the rest of my life because we have a child to raise right and he's still the father of my son Whether the decisions that he makes and the things that he says and he does I don't always agree with but same for him like he doesn't always agree with everything that I say and do um
Starting point is 01:03:24 But I did spend so much time of my life with him and I think they were very important years of my life from 19 to 31 That's a long time to be with somebody. Yeah, and those are those are really important years too Yeah, I just feel like you're learning so much during those years and Something just changes in you when one you've been married to somebody I don't know what it is about that, but um Because I think that you can also be with someone for a really long time and not be married to them but still not have The same feelings that I feel
Starting point is 01:04:02 For will when I was married to him, right, you know, right um And I also think that when you're raising a child with someone That makes everything completely different that changes the entire game like you could be married to somebody for 12 years Be able to both move on with your lives With no kids, you know move on and then like you occasionally If you live in the same area see each other run into each other whatever speak on occasion or never speak But it's so different whenever you're raising A kid with someone I agree and it's like it's half of that other person
Starting point is 01:04:42 Life is so weird. It's never going to be black and white um ever ever And I wish that people would stop thinking that it is because it's just not I love when I read comments about I mean, I'm sure you've seen them about you and will and just like relationships in general But like oh just do this or oh just leave or oh just work it out or oh this oh, it's not black and white so fuck off Well, it's like I feel like I've worked it out to where It needs to be now, right like it took me a long time to be able to
Starting point is 01:05:12 To make the decision with will to to be where we are and I feel like We are in the right place where we were supposed to be It just took a long time for us to figure that out and to get to that place, right? Right and you have to go through all of the things no matter how many people tell you like Oh, well, you should do this or like you guys should just like hang it up or you guys shouldn't get back together Or you shouldn't reconcile or whatever. I feel like until you go through that stuff yourself You can't fully Make a decision right right. I agree with you. So just I don't know I feel I feel you can
Starting point is 01:05:49 Okay, I feel you can wait before we get into foul play Let me tell you what happened to me yesterday. So I go to record this other and tea And open up my laptop and it'd be glitching Like The whole screen is just like flashing. It's white. You can kind of like see stuff in the background But you can't see it enough like it's so faint that if you try to like move the mouse It won't do anything. So in the meantime, I
Starting point is 01:06:20 Don't know what to do. So I'm like Immediately call Kristen like immediately immediately And I'm like, okay, Kristen's probably like on a drunk somewhere like on a pool chair Like not giving a fuck about anything that I have to say right now But you know what I'm gonna put in this call because I don't know what to do So I call her and she's like, yeah, like let me get in touch. So Today an episode re-ares
Starting point is 01:06:46 They pulled from like the archives and re-aired one of the best episodes on the southern team So I go through my dms and everyone's like wait, you're cheating on suburban dad with your ex-husband And I'm like what? Okay. So I listen regularly, but somehow miss an episode with kailin christin When kail told her story about leaving a tampon in for two weeks. I just had to tell you about my similar situation Wait, I missed this story and I didn't we just talked about this earlier in the episode You left a tampon in for two weeks. Yeah, and then I went to the doctor and when he pulled it out I'm scarred from yeah, so I
Starting point is 01:12:06 The smell was so bad It was so bad and I Literally was like I have to get to the doctor. So thank god my doctor at the shout out to dr. Karunos in allentown Um, he got me in right away. I hope that's not a hippo violation since I just said it myself, but um, anyhow, um It's your own kuchi. You can yeah about it for you Called him immediately. He got me in right away and um when he said that this literally happens like on a daily basis People come in to have tampons pulled out. So but he didn't have a mask on. I mean, this was probably My god, this was like 2012 probably
Starting point is 01:12:46 Um, was he gagging? The look on his face was I will never forget it. It was so foul and I was so embarrassed um, because he didn't have a mask on but um Yeah, it was it was awful. Yeah, I think how did it get lost up there? Like doesn't you don't you have tampons with strings? Yeah, but I don't know where I don't know why the string I don't think the string came off. I don't remember. I don't remember the full details of that But like maybe the string came off or something because there was no string hanging down um
Starting point is 01:13:21 I don't I really don't remember but I remember it being so foul and so disgusting and I'm lucky I didn't get more sick than I was. I think I might have had like a fever or something or I didn't feel well I don't remember But yeah, it was awful and I was so embarrassed. Oh my god. Oh my god She's Lindsay is like you're disgusting. I never want to see you again. Yeah, it's literally like a I have never smelled Like a decomposing body, but if I if I had to guess Kill the tampon inside you for two weeks is probably very similar to decomposing body We love that so this girl was in college
Starting point is 01:13:55 Let's get back to this point because the fact that you had a tampon in your hua for two weeks and you didn't know and You've smelled an odor and like you didn't think oh, well, maybe there's like a tampon in there and you went to the doctor Oh my god. I have an std is what I thought. Oh my god. Okay. Okay, so she says I had to tell you my Situation, not sure if this is foul play, but here's the story. I was in college and getting ready for a night out with my roommates I was wearing a skirt But supposed to start my period that day my period hadn't come yet. So I Put a tampon in just in case. Okay time out. I've never done that
Starting point is 01:14:35 I I need to know how many women who listen to the podcast put a tampon in when they're supposed to get their period But don't necessarily have it yet Yeah, not me because I've never done that me and I'm not judging. I just I've never done that. Okay, so she I put a tampon in just in case so I didn't have a situation on my hands while I was out and drinking Partway through the evening. I called my boyfriend drunk and told him to make the trip up to come party with us And he did I don't remember the night after that and he must have been pretty drunk too because we ended up having sex And he never realized I had a tampon in the same thing happened to me and he never knew I had a tampon in and we just smelled it The next morning I went to the bathroom and when I noticed I didn't have my tampon in
Starting point is 01:15:16 I thought nothing of it since I didn't remember the night before I assumed I took it out at some point and just couldn't remember fast forward a week my period never came I was seven days late took a pregnancy test just in case it was negative Fast forward to being 17 days late take another pregnancy test just to be sure and it's positive I was pregnant fast forward to my eight week appointment my very first where they find a tampon. I know it My obi puts the trans vaginal ultrasound inside me and goes. Hmm. There's something blocking your cervix Turns out it was the tampon that night that we had sex my husband apparently just stuck it in there And we both didn't feel anything. I don't know but he shoved it all the way up and embedded it into the entrance of my cervix
Starting point is 01:16:00 When the doctor pulled it out similar to kale's story the look on the doctor's face He was male too was horrifying and we could all smell it Truly so embarrassed I told my obi the story and he was amazed that not only was I able to get pregnant on the day I was supposed to get my period the chances are so slim on that day of your cycle But also that the sperm was able to get to the egg with the tampon blocking my cervix The only thing we can think of is that the tampon helped absorb the sperm And get it closer to the egg
Starting point is 01:16:30 Anyway, we had a healthy baby girl and have now been married for eight years Our daughter just turned nine and we have two other little boys one day when she's older Maybe I'll tell her the story of how she was truly meant to be Here and be all the odds. Oh my god. No, the same thing happened I don't know if I said that part, but habby and I were we had sex I don't think I told that part. No way. No, you and I and I blamed him and I was like, oh my god You have an STD like you must have given me an STD. He's like, no, I didn't like I swear And then that's when I went to the doctor. I don't I think I think I might have left that
Starting point is 01:17:03 I might have left that part out, but that's what happened. That's how I smelled it Um, I didn't smell it prior to that. Okay. This is just so gross Makes me terrified of a tampon and terrified of Of forgetting one like I don't think I ever would but like I'm not gonna say that now that I hear all of these people out here doing this like forgetting the pearl up in there, but like I am alarmed You're alarmed. Okay. Well, I'm sorry to alarm you. This is this is what happened to us and we're not I'm not dirty
Starting point is 01:17:40 like I shower every single day. I Feel like I if I could have smelled it before that I would have done something about it But I also didn't at this time Never had stuck my fingers inside myself at that time So I would have never like I should have this podcast has come full circle Like through all of the topics that we have talked about it has come full circle We need to read about this deranged lunatic bitch encounter. Um Um, we just moved to Washington state at the beginning of April. My husband is in the army
Starting point is 01:18:11 So we found an awesome playground on post and decided to go It was me and my twin four-year-old boys. I was standing off to the side scanning to Scan in the playground trying to watch both of them when I turn my head and see a lady in my four-year-old's face grabbing his arm No, bitch I got over there quick and told him I got over there quick and got him away. I said, whoa, what's going on? She responds. Is this your child? Which I said, yes, what's the problem? She says your son hit my son and you need to get the fuck out of here
Starting point is 01:18:43 Side note, my children have never hit another child a few minutes prior Wesley My child that my child that this lady put her hands on came to me and said he bumped heads with someone And I just told him it's okay to go play. I assumed the little boy was this lady's child Anyway, I basically tell her okay, but that gives you no right to touch him or yell at him And if you have a problem with something that he has done find the parent She goes off calling me every name saying if I don't get my fucking kids out of here. She'll call cps Okay At this point Wesley is screaming and crying and his twin brother Bennett is trying to protect him
Starting point is 01:19:18 I grabbed them and left because this girl was really ready to fight me people are so ridiculous I will never understand We're all traumatized and they still randomly say when we go to that park. I hope that lady who screamed isn't there People suck. I just had to share my story because I thought it was crazy that this happened to you too I do not understand. I don't care. I mean unless you're like unless my child is bleeding Um I'm not going to put my hands on someone else's and actually I wouldn't even do it then But like what makes you think you can grab a child that you don't know like that's just so weird
Starting point is 01:19:53 It's a lot of times Bizarre children that you do know their parents don't want you to reprimand them or you know what I mean like obviously they're certain I have Really close friends who have children that I consider my nieces and my nephews With their permission. I could you know yell at them or reprimand them or whatever But like a lot of times even people you know don't want them to do that to your kids So what the fuck are you thinking the only time I will ever insert myself in a position to be reprimanding anybody's child Is if there is a safety risk like hey like you might not want to do that because
Starting point is 01:20:28 You could possibly get hurt that looks a little dangerous like whatever But to put my hands on someone else's child for someone else to put their hands on my child For you to be putting yourself in a position to where you could literally get in a physical altercation with another parent because you're overstepping someone else's boundaries Absolutely not like I don't deal with your angeluna tick bitches and like No, just no No, I agree with you like put your hands on my kid And then I might fight you your kid's not going to have a problem. You are right I do need to tell you that I was at the jump park again
Starting point is 01:21:03 This is the last thing I'm going to say on this episode I was at the jump park again Was on a phone call sitting on a couch by myself It was like the glow night. So, you know, it was bumping in there and lights out and whatever No, this place. I guess Probably pretty typical for any jump park from what I've understood because the manager said that this is like across the board Parents now drop teenagers off at these places And then just leave so I guess like the jump parks now are kind of like the skating rinks where like back then or like the bowling alley or whatever
Starting point is 01:21:38 Drop them off and these kids just run rogue There were kids at this place dropping sour straws on top of my head Running by me girls screaming while they were walking by intentionally making eye contact with me screaming and I'm like who raises these kids Mmm, and like lets them just like out of the house rogue and these places rogue and these places
Starting point is 01:22:08 With no rules and I'm just like, okay, do the parents like know what's going on? And then I also wonder sometimes when I see, you know, kids out and about I'm like, if I went out and about in that outfit, I would have never been able to get out of the house I don't I don't think we'll ever fully understand why other people do what they do and how they like Parent I'm not saying that it's like bad parenting because these parents might not know like what their kids are out there doing, right? Like yeah, they can only be responsible for when they're there and they're witnessing to be able to reprimand their kids for what they're doing Right, but also I would never be dropped off at a place like that and be disrespectful to an adult or
Starting point is 01:22:51 Be wearing coochie cutters like where my lips were flying out and stuff like coochie cutters I can tell you right now Todd chrisley made me do the bend over check and if you saw anything you weren't wearing it I mean and I under I would I don't know because I don't have daughters, but I also It's crazy to see some of the things that like young girls are wearing now because I I blame social media a little bit I do too because it's like they're out here, you know, you see girls out here They look way too young to be getting this stuff done like they will have their nails all done out
Starting point is 01:23:28 They look like they have their brows microbladed like they've gone and got Botox their lips done they're wearing cutoffs crop tops It is social media. That's exactly what it is. I I think so and I don't know parents seem to be okay with it, which is Not my business. I guess. I don't know. It's weird Speaking of coochies. I got back from the gym and I'm gonna go and wash mine. So
