I hate gift giving and receiving.
Receiving gifts is so weird.
What do you say thank you?
This is Coffee Convos with Kale Lowry and Lindsay Crisley.
I really want you to be in your feels, Kail.
That does not interest me whatsoever.
I feel very attacked by you.
A spirited discussion about motherhood, friendship, family, and life in the public eye.
I'm just not with the fakery anymore.
There's a fakery bakery bakery around here.
Here's Kail and Lindsay.
Good morning and welcome to another episode of Coffee Compos podcast.
I am here and steroided up.
I can't believe they gave you steroids.
I have had COVID five times and never got steroids.
It's so weird because the doctor told me he was like,
I normally don't do this, but based off of the symptoms and my fever kept spiking in the way that it did.
I did not have a fever this morning, but yesterday I woke up with 101.
It's so crazy.
The things taking us out.
Flu A almost took us all out, as you guys know.
Happy New Year.
I don't know if we've had episodes air before this.
I don't know what's going on.
I barely know what day it is.
But we do have new merch.
And this is the Boy Aquarium Fam Club shirt that you guys voted on.
And I hope you guys buy.
I still think Boy Aquarium is so funny.
And the fact that I knew nothing about what a Boy Aquarium was or that hockey players do that grind
on ice.
Like, we need to take you to a hockey game.
That's what we need to do.
I feel like no one goes to hockey games around here.
No, people go to hockey games, especially since it went viral on TikTok.
Like, people were already going for the fun.
And then Boy Aquarium took off on TikTok also.
So then it just made it better.
I hope they start getting paid more.
Okay.
Favorite sporting events to go to as far as like.
All of them.
I love them all.
I never thought I could get into soccer because I didn't think I was like a soccer mom.
I'll go to any sporting event, professional high school, college.
I don't care.
I love it all.
And I will yell and I will cheer and I will be absolutely wrong, but I'm having the time of my life.
I don't think I've ever been to a soccer game other than like Little League or whatever.
But my favorite sporting events to go to are basketball games.
I love.
I really, really was trying to make it to the game tomorrow to see La Mello ball play,
or Lanzo ball, one of them.
But there was like a big group of us that wanted to go.
and there was not enough seats together.
So I don't know if I should still just take my family or if I scrap the plans altogether.
I don't know.
Definitely just take your family.
But then I feel bad, you know, like if it was supposed to be a group event.
You know what?
I love about having one child that I feel like you really have to dedicate time and your
schedule to do that I don't have the same struggle.
I get to have one-on-one time with him all the time.
Yeah.
I have to schedule a specific one-on-one time.
Do you do it regularly?
Yeah, I would say fairly regularly.
With the older ones, mostly?
No, with all of them, except for the babies, I would say like the four older ones, we get some amount of one-on-one time.
The babies, it's a little more challenging, but obviously as they get older, it'll be a little bit easier.
Can you not wait until you can start taking Valley to do nail appointments?
I can't wait.
If she's into it, I did tell Elijah pretty recently, I said, I really want to sign the twins up for gymnastics.
And we have like this little gymnastics like bar thing in our playroom.
And Rio said he wanted to do it too.
So Elijah was like, yeah, sure, sign on all three of them up.
So I think that's what I want to do next.
That will be so fun.
I've heard so many people talking about signing their boys up for gymnastics.
And they're like, it's so great for their development.
I've heard that.
I hope it's true.
I'll see if they're interested in the playroom.
But like I don't know if they're going to be interested in like,
actual structured environment. So we'll see. I'll keep you posted. Well, since it's January now,
I need to ask you, have you seen the workout equipment called the jiggler? No. Wait, what?
I have not. I just need to know if you'll do it. Like, I'm going to order one and I need somebody to
like jiggle with me. Can you show me what the jiggler is? Kristen, is there any way you can pull up the jiggler?
Is this real? Like, what does this do?
It's supposed to also be good for, like, your digestion.
Like, there's so many alleged benefits of the jiggler.
You might shit while you're on the jiggler.
Okay. Everyone's laughing.
Rebecca and Ike are laughing.
Yeah, I might shit. My kids will probably love it.
It's supposedly really cool.
And it's, I think you only do it, like, a small amount of time, like, each day.
And what is it for? It's for toning and tightening or like what is it? I think so. Hold on. Let me look it up. The jig. How do you spell juggler? The jiggler. I don't know. You're asking the wrong one. Okay. An exercise jiggler, more commonly known as a vibration plate or a whole body vibration platform, is a fitness device with vibrating surface that causes muscles to contract, contract and relax rapidly. Enhancing,
workouts, improving circulation, balance, strength, flexibility, and aiding in muscle recovery.
Though it's best used as supplement to traditional exercise, it is not a replacement for active
workouts.
I feel like we write up Lincoln's alley because Lincoln has been working out every day at home.
I guess his dad has been sending him workouts and he's going on the treadmill, the Peloton,
the workout, all of that.
And I feel like that would be really good for him.
This is what it looks like.
Oh, I've seen these on TikTok and they just jiggle you.
Yeah, they jiggle you, but I was reading like the last video I saw about it,
someone was saying that it helped their poop schedule.
I'll send one to Becky.
She uses a squatty potty.
Oh my God.
David just bought me a squatty potty last week.
Have you been using it?
I used it two times and poop two times.
Was it, did it work?
Was it helpful?
Yeah.
It was really helpful.
Interesting. Okay. Well, I could get behind a squatty potty. I could get behind a jiggler. I probably would break the jiggler, but Matt did send me a scale, a smart scale, because I said, I'm going to count my macros. I'm going to take some riding lessons and I'm going to get back on a horse. So I might invest in a squatty potty as well.
kill the way that i had the covid laughing coughs when i saw the video of you riding that horse
i'm like what business did she have to be doing that you know what i want to just say this was
no disrespect to the riding community i know matt texted me and said the riding community is like
ripping him a new one i begged him to do this and i can laugh now because i survived but i just want to
say like it truly could have ended so badly like I could have walked away with like a spinal cord
injury and I'm telling you guys this right now like do not try that at home do not go to your
friend's house and try to get on a horse and think it's funny and try to stay on it like it truly
could have ended so so badly um but and I know I said I would never get on one again but then
I read a comment this morning and I'm going to read it to you and I'm going to tell you why this is
important someone said on his YouTube you should try to
taking some real riding lessons. You could be an amazing rider. You did an astounding,
you did astounding in the situation. You kept your cool and kept the horse in mind. You should be
proud of yourself. So I just want to pat myself on the back here and just say that if I did
have proper lessons, I do believe I'd be a good rider. I just, I was waiting for the tragedy.
You know, it's like watching a car crash from far away. So when the horse came to a halt,
So Fus realized the gates are closed and he comes to a halt.
And that's sort of where you see gravity pulling me and I'm about to fall off.
And so it was like starting to fall off, saved myself and then my ankle was caught in the one stirrup.
So I was able to like slide off.
So I said I fell off, but it was like it was because the horse came to a stop and then I like sort of started to fall off.
I didn't actually hit the ground.
I was able to slide like maneuver.
It was just like, one of the mysterious moments of my entire life.
Were you doing that in Adidas too?
Yeah.
And shout out to Adidas.
I really love Adidas products.
I've always been Adidas over Nike.
So if Adidas hears or sees any of this, if they want a sponsor, I did ruin my Sambas.
So if anyone hears this from the Adidas team, like I'm here to support and accept all
sponsorships.
So the Sambas are.
done. Those specific, well, I have like 12 pairs of Adidas. I love them. But Kristen said rate this at
the kayaking incident, which was scarier? Kayaking incident, which one? The one where you almost died.
In Costa Rica? Yeah. Oh, that was whitewater rafting. Um, you know what is interesting about that is
I did almost, I am Costa Rica. That's like not a joke at all. I went head first over.
board whitewater rafting and when I tell you that every single time I came up to gasp for air,
I hit another boulder underwater.
I definitely thought that I was going to be a goner there and like drowned to my death.
That was also on camera and I would pay to get that footage off of one of my old laptops.
Like I would pay big money for that.
Rate them.
Well, I also almost died trying to boogie board in Hawaii as well.
And that one was also with Leah.
So I would rate that.
And then one time when I was 12, I was moving my room to like rearrange the furniture and I put my bed in like a corner.
Does that make sense?
So like where your head is on the corner.
So it was like a triangle of space between the bed and the corner of the walls.
And I got stuck.
My head was in there.
And I got stuck like that for like 13 minutes or something crazy.
And I thought I was going to die that day too.
Wait, but why was your head in there?
I don't remember how I got there.
I think it was like, I don't actually know, but I was stuck and I was really scared.
Wait, wait.
So as a kid, you were allowed to just like rearrange your room?
Lindsay, I didn't have any supervision as a child.
I know.
I'm just like, if my parents came home and my room was rearranged, they would be like, what the fuck?
I rearranged my room for fun like every week.
and I would use the strength in my legs to like push the furniture with my feet and like scoot
on the floor to like push things around and I would rearrange my room all the time.
That's how your leg journey started to get such good legs.
Yeah, definitely the thighs.
It was those workouts in Susie's house.
Wait, did you have blow-up furniture when you were growing up?
Yeah, I did.
Oh, yeah.
But you know what it was crazy?
was like I was kind of like the chunky friend so I couldn't sit on it. You know what I mean? So it was
like scary for me because I would be like I love this so much. But it was like I was scared to sit on
it to ruin it. So it was just there for decoration. Girl, I had a whole living room set in my bedroom
at my mom's house. Like there was no blow up furniture at Todd's. Don't even like, no. Todd has
called that tacky for sure. It would have definitely been a tacky moment that would not have been allowed.
I mean, Todd, one thing I will give him is he is a meticulous designer, meticulous.
I love that for him, but I was definitely had a tacky bedroom, always had a tacky bedroom wherever I went.
I'm looking for blow-up chairs for the kids in, for our media room because I just feel like they need to feel like the 90s.
Well, it's nostalgia for me, but like I feel like they need to experience the 90s.
If I wanted my kids to experience the 90s, they would pop it all over the place and they would be sumo wrestling and tackling each other on the furniture.
So it would not be a wise investment for me to purchase blow-up furniture.

Okay, the next thing before we get into our plan today that I need to ask you, and everybody who's listening to this, in 2026, I want to have my teeth done. I told you about this.
No, you didn't. Yes, I did. I said I wanted to get veneers. When? When did you said that? I told me, I told you this like months ago.
On the podcast? Yes, I did. All right. Well, these listeners will be my witness then. I do not recall.
We definitely did. And I was asking about the no prep veneer situation and you were telling me about
how your teeth didn't get shaved down. Are you remembering? No. Okay, well, I need people to go online and
find people's teeth that they really like that they know that they have veneers and start sending them
to me because I feel like it's such a permanent situation. You know what I mean? Like, I don't want to do it
twice. Yeah. And you also don't want them to look like dentures because I have seen a couple
people get veneers. And I know like the first little while after someone gets their teeth done,
it is a little bit of an adjustment. But I know someone in particular that I'm like,
that was not a good move for you. So it's like years later and you still look like you're,
you have dentures. Yeah. So what I want to avoid is looking like.
And you know the smile that I'm talking about.
But it's the teeth almost like don't look like real teeth.
Yeah, that's what I mean.
Like you could tell that something, like I like mine because they look kind of natural.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, you're looking at teeth.
Yeah, I definitely agree.
And I think you have to be careful too because I know old veneers.
Like I remember talking to Randy Huska, Chelsea's dad, because I had wanted veneers for a long time before I got them.
And he recommended against them because at the time, I don't know what he has on his teeth now.
It's been a long time since I've talked to him.
But he said that, I want to say it was, don't quote me, porcelain maybe, and they would chip.
Yeah.
I don't know what they make veneers out of anymore.
But I know that I have knock on wood, I have not experienced any chips or anything like that.
So I don't know that I have the same material that he did or does.
I do feel like porcelain veneers were like the, it,
to do before they started doing the no prep situation.
And I'm pretty sure they used to file them all the way down to like,
they looked like a tic-tac almost.
Yeah.
And they still,
you can still do those.
You can still do the whole cap situation for veneers.
I just didn't go that route because I don't need them on the bottom either.
If you're not a bottom teeth talker,
you don't get them on the bottom.
Like they advise against it.
I need them on the bottom.
Yeah, but it doesn't go by look.
It goes by.
seeing your teeth when you talk and stuff if you don't see that because otherwise there's something
about like certain people are not candidates for top and bottom because the bottoms will could get ruined
it depends on you talk so definitely i if i were you you should go get several opinions i would say at least
three i don't think two is enough um at least three because the bottom they the dentist told me that
not to get them on the bottom because the way my teeth sit the way i talk um things like that
that they would end up just getting ruined for me.
So definitely get multiple opinions.
Don't go with just one person.
And I've seen a lot of people, like I've been thinking about veneers for several years at this
point.
And so I followed like a couple of other creators journeys doing it.
And a lot of people aren't even getting veneers in the states that they live.
Like I've seen a lot of people go into Texas and California to get their teeth done.
So I think this is going to be like a process.
and I don't want to be fast about it because the worst thing would like feel worse about my teeth than I
already do.
Also just a word of advice that certain areas, and this is something to be considered not just for you,
but across the board, certain areas that you might go get your teeth, you need to look at the
style of tooth.
And I'm saying that because specifically in California, there is a specific veneer style that they prefer,
is all your top teeth being the same length.
Okay.
So when they first put my veneers on and they were all the same length across, it was like
one flat, like straight across.
That is the look and style for that area.
And I said, you know, Dr. Wahab in California did mine.
And I said, can you shave some of them down?
I don't like the all straight across look.
I like the shape of my natural teeth and how, so like my canines are longer than the rest of
them.
they don't do that. So keep in mind that like if you go in Atlanta or you go in Dallas,
their style might be a little bit different. I know that goes across the board for like dentistry
in general. Like if you go get braces, for example, certain orthodontists have a flare style. So they
prefer the teeth to flare in a certain way with their teeth. I have no idea about that. Yeah. So like
when I went to dental assisting school, I had to do like an externship, which is different than an
internship and in the externship, I went and worked for an orthodontist. And that specific orthodontist
that I did the externship with was, did like the flare style of straightening. So definitely check out
like all of their testimonials, people that have gotten their teeth done and look at the style
because you will probably see a pattern. Okay. That's really good to know. Wow. You're just like a little
plethora of knowledge on the veneer. I don't want you to have to get it done twice. So also follow.
Um, Winter on TikTok. Her name is Winter. I don't know how to spell it. I think it's like, I'll send it to you. She had bad veneers done and now she has permanent issues that she talks about. And she says like it fucked up her life for a while. Like fucked it up. Like she's had chronic pain, chronic issues, chronic so much. Definitely listen to what she has to say because she talks about like what like her whole experience. So I'll send you her profile. But anyways, we can move on.
Thank you so much. Okay, so we have a segment. It's called Red Flag or just January.
So we're going to roll through these. The first one is my ex texted me New Year, New Us at 12.03 a.m.
New Year, New Us, because we're blocking each other.
Okay. Okay. I feel like it's a red flag. But. Yeah, it is. It is.
a red flag. I feel like if I'm single, I'm probably participating in that red flag.
Oh, for sure. If you're single. But if you're not single, it's not worth it.
Yeah. Like, I'm going to engage in that conversation. Next one, my friend posted New Year,
New Circle, but we're still friends. Listen, I am starting to cut off a lot of people in January. So I might say
new friend, new circle, you think you made the cut off and come February 1st, it's a new month and
you are cut off. So you might not even know your phone number. You've changed your phone number,
your address. I swear. Like, I'm not doing this anymore. I texted Kristen with some wild
information last night. So I'm just cutting people off left and right. I don't care. Wait, what?
Oh, yeah. It was confirmed to me. Confirmed, not speculated. That is in fact. Is in fact.
the rat of my circle. It was confirmed to me last night. She was basically best friends with teen
mom chatter. No. Yeah. No. No. Because I had said, it's really weird that like, I was like,
it's really weird that not a whole lot of information has been coming out about me over the last two years.
Like a couple things here and there that I've literally said on the podcast that people make something out of
nothing or read too far into it. But like as far as like leaked information and half truths
and this person responded and was like, I don't want to say too much because I don't want
to give their information away. But the person confirmed that it was explicitly said.
How do you feel about that? It's upsetting because like I also like took this person on trips.
And like you can't, this is not a situation of like Kail is such a bad.
bad person and you're reaping the benefits every day, it's upsetting because it's like you were
benefiting for so long and now all of a sudden I've cut you off and you think that now you're
going to come try to out me. Like I don't. Over the years, I've definitely learned that when
you make a choice for yourself to either remove yourself from certain situations of people
might just be, hey, we're on different paths and not that you've necessarily dislike.
the person, but it's just like we're not on the same life path. And it's not good for us to continue
hanging out because you are doing a disservice to me and I'm doing a disservice to you. It's very
interesting how the tides will turn. Yep. So interesting. It's just like why are we out here acting
like that? We're too grown for that. But New Year, New Circle, I like that one, but also
at the same time, I feel like I've been doing that over the last year.
Yeah.
So I didn't really have to start my new year that way, but highly recommend.
Highly recommend.
I'm saying no, all 2026.
So I agree.
Okay.
Next one.
I want to cut off everyone who annoyed me last year.
I mean, that's a little extreme.
Everyone gets on everyone's nerves at some point.
Yeah.
I think it's just January.
I'm just going to say that's not a red flag.
You know what I mean?
No.
Like if you're cutting off everybody who annoyed you, the amount of people that I would cut off.
Everyone, my kids would be cut off.
And they would cut me off.
They would cut me off.
I annoy them so bad.
They would cut me off.
My partner wants to do a relationship reset meeting.
No, I kind of like that.
I think that's good.
That should be more times in the year than just January.
You know, I feel like that's a really good staple to have in all relationships.
Even in like parent-child relationships, like I feel like that's great.
I tend to agree with that.
David Gavin and I had a relationship.
I forgot Lux was calling him Gavin.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, okay, let me tell you this story.
So I post this like.
dancing reel on my Instagram. And it was like dancing into 2026. Okay. First of all,
that's what we were doing into 2026, but then we got immediately taken out by COVID.
By the time it was posted, we were taken out by COVID. Oh, I was going to say I definitely
wasn't dancing in 2026. I was sleeping into 2026. I mean, that qualifies as well. You should
have taken sleeping videos and then posted those. True. You know what I mean? Yeah.
So people are commenting on it and they're like, Gavin, Gavin, Gavin.
Lux is seriously, like he calls Matt Matthews, Matt Jeffreys.
So when I sent the birthday card on the front of the envelope, I put Matt Jeffries in Lux's voice.
Gavin is David.
He calls Elijah, Elijah Scott Williams.
And you know what?
It's just like that sticks with people.
Does David know his name is Gavin?
Well, this is where this is going. So he goes on the comments and he's like, I'm going to like people's nice comments. And I'm like, okay, you do you. I don't give a fuck. I have COVID. Like, go away. Go away. Go he goes, who the fuck is Gavin?
Lux. Luke's re-name to you, David. Don't you know that? Lux thought your name was Gavin. And he was like, yeah, because Gavin sounds like David.
And I was like, no, because he, I think he was like on my lap or something and like trying to read
my text messages.
I think that's what it was.
And so when he saw David, I think he thought, because he was upside down.
The start of the new year makes any of us think about what we can do to set ourselves up and our
families up for the future.

Also, I need to tell you something about looks.
Okay.
So do you remember me getting ripped to shreds a couple years ago
for letting Lincoln and Elliott dye their hair, like color their hair?
Yes.
And Lincoln bleached his hair like slim shady?
Yes, I do.
Okay.
This episode, Kristen, leave this in because I know people are going to lose their shit.
I know that this episode is going to come after a chaotic live.
Chris is going to go live as soon as he gets the kids over this past weekend because I have also let Lux and Creed die their.
their hair. Wait, it's already died? Yeah, Lux also bleached his entire head. Do we have photo
evidence of this? Yes. And I would just like to say, you can agree or not agree with me letting my
kids color their hair. But Lux and Creed have specifically asked me probably 99 times about doing this.
I let Elliot and Lincoln do it. It is harmless. It's not a big deal. It will grow out. And now,
that it's out of their system, they're likely to not ask again.
So with that being said, I want you to prepare yourself for Lux because Lux Russell Lowry
really got his inspo from Laminumal.
So I'm going to send you a picture of Laminia Mall that is Lux's dream come true.
And he thinks it's going to especially look cool when his dark roots start to come through
because that's actually how Laminia Mall does it.
So let me send you.
Laminu Mall, just for anyone listening,
is a professional soccer player.
He is Brazilian maybe.
I'm not sure.
Here is the photo, the inspo.
And then this is Lux's hair.
If you could just throw it on up there.
He'll grow out of it.
Everything will be okay.
I mean, I think it looks so cute.
Like, it really is so cute.
So that is definitely coming.
Yeah.
So, let me, ma'amal, this is for you.
If you're ever in the United States, maybe for the World Cup, maybe, you know, let me know.
Because Lux is a major fan to the point that he is now bleached his entire head to look like you.
So send help.
Okay.
I think we should do a throwback, actually.
I'll pull up for coffee, coffee, conference.
most Instagram. I'll pull up Lux's, or Lincoln's bleached hair. Wait. So how long did this
process take? Because their hair so dark. Creed's hair. So do you see Creed in that picture?
Yeah. Creed got around his head black and the top blonde, but Creed already had blonde hair,
so it basically turned his hair white. And so his took like 15 minutes. And then
then Lux had really, he has like really, really, really dark hair. So his took a lot longer.
It took about 45 minutes for Lux. They loved it. They loved every minute of it. And something
tells me they won't ask again because it was such a process. I think they thought it was going
to be a lot quicker than it was. I don't know, Kail. I'm thinking that these two might ask again.
like the faces are saying we really love it and we really want to keep it like that.
I told Lux that if he wanted to grow his hair back out to lock it up again,
the tips of the locks would be blonde.
And he loved that idea because he was like, it grows from the root.
So the blonde would still be there.
And so as his locks grow, they would have blonde in them.
And so he really liked that idea.
So he said he might do that if his dad lets him.
I do have a question. Did his hair texture change when his head got shaved?
Nope. It didn't. No. He has hair just like me.
That's so crazy.
Yeah. Just like. And then, Creed doesn't at all. No. Verse and Creed have the same hair texture.
Oh, wow. Yeah. And then, so all the kids have different. I would say Lux even has finer hair than Elliot.
Because Elliot always had the most similar hair to me.
Lincoln's is pretty fine too, but he keeps such a low cut that it doesn't really.
Like he's got a lot of hair, but it's not like super coarse, super thick or anything.
But Lux's hair stayed the same when he shaved it.
Okay.
So are we saying our relationship reset meeting is necessary?
Are we saying what?
A relationship meeting is necessary.
Yeah, I think it's important.
I think that's a great idea.
We basically did a reset meeting while we were in Mexico and just talked about our, I'm not
I don't like the word resolution, just like goals, you know?
Goals for 2026 and like our life moving forward because there's a lot of changes that are coming for us.
Changes like what?
Like eventually you move in together.
You're moving together?
Within the year.
Whose house?
Mine.
So you're not getting an apartment?
No, I'm not going to get an apartment.
I love the idea.
Mm-hmm.
I loved it. However, I just feel like I've put so much into this house and an apartment wouldn't be
feasible with me in a relationship with somebody else with a kid. You can't get a three-bedroom apartment?
I am not doing it. Okay. I'm just not doing it, you know? I just, listen, you do what's best for you.
You do what's best for your family. But if it was me, I would be doing it only because a two-bedroom apartment
versus a three-bedroom apartment still sounds like a good deal to me where I'm no longer
responsible for all the things. Do you know what I mean?
I love that idea. No maintenance. Right. But also if you have this man moving in with you,
in theory, you should also have no maintenance because he should be able to do everything.
Well, and he's really good about it. Why the phone is going on with my phone? I'm sorry.
What else are men for? You know what I mean? I, okay, so for example, he came over here, yes,
We're staying at his house. His house is dubbed the sick house right now. Okay. Okay. I am at my house right now recording, but we've been staying at his house and like cover it ended up with COVID. And everything at my house is stripped and whatever. I could hardly get out of the bed yesterday. And so he came over to do an appointment that I had had scheduled. He is responsible for water pressure, showers, toilets.
Yeah.
You know, like all those things.
Like, I don't know.
It's like blue jobs versus pink jobs.
Have you all had that conversation about blue jobs versus pink jobs?
No.
Okay.
So I was going somewhere the other day.
And he was like, oh, I've got to go and do this, but you're already on the way to my house.
So I'm going to just not do that.
And I said, oh, I can just stop and get it.
And it was a gas tank for like the, the grocery.
grill. Okay. And he was like, that's not a woman's job. I'm going to talk out of both sides of my mouth
here because I scream feminism all the time from the top of my lungs. But if a man is around,
I shouldn't have to do it. Do you know what I mean? Like I will, but if a man is around,
do it. And a man should want to do those things. Like, it's a red flag. It's a red flag. It's a
if a man is like, no, I'm not doing that.
I tend to agree with that.
Okay.
So then we got into the conversation and I told him about pink jobs and blue jobs.
And he was like, he was like, okay, well, identify a pink job or a blue job.
And I told him, I said, well, like, going to the grocery store could be a pink job or a blue job.
getting gas cans is a pink job or a blue job depending on if you're out of town,
but typically would be a blue job.
Pressure washing used to be a pink job when it was only me, but now it is a, now it is a blue job.
Okay.
Okay.
So.
A hot tub has now been dubbed a blue job, not that it can't be a pink job, but I can't do a pink job.
Listen to me when I tell you this.
I'm not doing any fucking jobs.
They're all a man's job.
Hey, who is a laundry job?
Is it a pink job or a blue job?
Or could it be a pink job and a blue job?
Laundry is a pink and a blue job.
And also, I'm not doing laundry ever.
Okay, well, David hates the way that I fold but loves the way I wash.
So we have determined that I,
I will wash and he will fold.
I'm hiring help.
I did do it when my dad and his wife and family went on vacation for two weeks, a couple weeks ago.
I did have to do my own laundry at that time.
Separate my own socks.
Actually, Ike and I had to tackle it together because I have a whole sock thing.
I keep a lot of extra, like when I say a lot, like I have an over.
abundance of socks of all sizes in black and white in my room in baskets because the kids will
come downstairs with white socks on and they'll have black pants and black shoes. And I'm like,
oh, no, we're not doing that. You need to go get black socks on. So I have lots of socks in my closet.
And so we were going through all of them. That was a pink and a blue job. And I did do that because
I was medicated that day and I could focus. Wait, can you tell me about your possible medicated days?
and I'm going to assume that they were medicated because I was watching when I was in Mexico the small amount of time I was on my phone.
And it was like you were organizing all this shit at your house and like cleaning walls.
Lindsay, I have been medicated for 14 days straight. No breaks. Okay. The first couple days when I started medicating, I scared myself because I hire help for a lot of things.
Because one, I don't have the time and two, I just simply don't want to do it.
one of those things is deep cleaning. One of those things is laundry. My dad and his family were away on
vacation. I'm medicated and I decide that at 8.30 at night, we are taking apart the fucking
freezer and we're going to take it apart and we're going to scrub it and we're going to wash it.
In that same night, we did all the socks. In that same night, I did all my own laundry.
In that same night, I got all of my poshmark shit out of my closet, brought it to the office, and sold it all in 24 hours.
Wait, what time were you up until doing this?
I don't know.
I don't know.
But I did not stop.
Like, we had, I have a dog room.
I don't know if you guys remember this.
But when I built my house, I wanted a dog room specifically for my dogs.
And it has a dog bath.
And it has like the crate for when we're not home for extended periods of time, the shelf with all the treats and stuff.
and then a dog bath. I had Ike take my freezer apart, like in my kitchen and take everything to the
dog bath so that I could scrub it and rinse it out in the dog bath. He didn't sign up for that.
And I think at that point, no one did. At that point, he was questioning his entire decision to come to
Delaware. He was questioning the entire relationship. But I didn't have kids that week. I had no children,
None. So it was like, I have to make the most of this time and I'm medicated and I can't help that this is what my brain is healthy. Did you feel better though after you did it or did you feel kind of like I should have never done that? Was that before after the horse? Because my body was hurt. Okay. My body hurt that week. I think it was from doing more than I normally do and also the horse. So that was a lot for me.
I was like, I haven't seen Kail do that many chores.
Well, obviously, I'm not in Delaware, but I haven't heard of you doing that many chores.
No, because I usually don't.

Okay. So the next one is someone I blocked last year sent me a thinking of you message.
Well, if you blocked them, how did you get it?
Wait, what do you mean? You know what I mean?
No, I don't.
This person said someone you blocked last year sent you a message thinking of you. Well, if you blocked them last year, how did you get it this year?
They blocked me or just in general? No, this person wrote someone that I blocked last year sent me a thinking of you message.
So if you blocked them last year, how did they send you a thinking of you message this year?
they probably if you maybe they sent it via social media they're blocked on social media so they send
a text or if they're blocked on text they send it via social media oh i'm like the feds i do a full suite
like you're blocked everywhere um i actually don't like that i had some messages in my phone
of people that i block oh they're they're still there thank god i noticed that my phone started deleting
messages there's like um there's a setting in that
there. After one year of a no active thread or whatever, it'll auto delete it. Oh, okay. So I got to
turn that off. Also on the iPhones, I don't know if you know this now, but if you've updated it or
whatever and you block someone, it puts the little red thing with the cross through it that shows
they're blocked. It's like, I didn't put that as an emoji. Like the iPhone does it itself to say like
you have this contact blocked. Oh, wow. And for anyone who doesn't know, if someone has to, you
you blocked and you don't know that, it will say delivered and it's not delivered. So that's
also an update. So you'll think that it's delivered because it used to when you sent someone a
message that has you blocked, it just would never say delivered. It would never say anything.
It would just sit there. Now it says delivered, but they have you blocked.
That is so. So you might be like, well, I'm not blocked. It says delivered. No, you very well.
I like the other way, though. You know what I mean?
where it so that you don't know that you're blocked yeah no that you know that you're blocked
like if it's saying delivered you're saying the new one saying delivered is that what you're saying
the new one says delivered yeah yeah i like the old way where it's not delivered yeah because like
if someone blocked me i would like to know but like if some if if it's gone so far that they're
blocking you don't you feel like that that should have been a conversation like hey i'm blocking you
If you block somebody, do you say you're getting blocked?
I used to, but now I just do it.
I do.
I blocked Will like two times since we've been divorced.
I'm pretty sure all my kids' dads have me blocked and I have them blocked.
And I realized that I needed to unblock him because we still needed to communicate for a child
and that I was childish.
My favorite is this is why you're getting blocked.
We're going back to email.
Oh, my God.
I know if you're talking about.
Okay, my situation ship says January is a fresh start for communication.
That's just January.
I don't.
That's just January.
It's a cop out.
You don't get to just use New Year's as like, okay, now I'm going to be on my best behavior.
It's like you should do that all year.
It's kind of like people who come in January and just like start acting correct,
whether that be, you know, like they're trying to lead this like more active lifestyle or they're like,
trying to do like a fad diet or you know whatever it is and then the people that you now can't get
a seat at church because now all these people are back in church and then all of a sudden it starts
dwindling away around March and it's like no that was just January.
I wonder how many like goals that I'm going to stick to now that I am medicated though like
and I feel like I set pretty realistic goals.
Oh, you know what you inspired me to do?
What?
You inspired me to do a vision board.
And I did one on a mirror.
I know.
Well, I already did it.
Oh, okay.
And I did mine on like a framed canvas so that it could sort of like match the aesthetic of my house and you can like hang it like a picture.
Yeah.
Love.
So we did those over last weekend.
We were a week late, but obviously.
Yeah, we're doing that in Mexico.
But I thought yours was so cute.
I just didn't want to copy like the whole idea of the mirror.
but I was like that actually is really, really cute.
And I want to know what everybody put on their vision boards.
And I feel like if you do vision boards with people as a project, you really see people's
personalities.
Yeah.
Yep.
I did vision boards with my kids last week.
Last week?
Yeah.
And you can just see their personalities are so different and also just different from mine,
but they were really cute.
I love that so much.
The next one is my time out, time out in real time just got this from somebody.
You can respond or not.
I don't care.
But someone just sent me a screenshot, Janelle posted, of you messaging her saying,
Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful kids.
I've watched your journey from the beginning and how far you have come.
You're beautiful.
I'm going to send you my cell number because I hate Messenger.
We should get together.
And then Janelle posted that and said,
found this gem on Twitter before the podcast was started.
I need to just clarify to everyone listening here.
I don't care if you asked 10 people to start a podcast before me.
I literally don't care.
Everyone that said no or ghosted you or didn't answer or whatever,
y'all blocked your own blessing because we've got a multi-million dollar business.
So I do not give a fuck.
Like, what do you think?
Don't tell people that.
What?
You said we've got a multi-million dollar business.
Because people are a little skeptical.
They're like, they don't understand how podcasts make money.
And like, honestly, it's something I'm proud of.
So I came from nothing.
I'm going to brag about a multi-billion dollar business that we built from the ground up by ourselves.
At the time, we had no support.
We had no, I didn't have management.
I didn't have assistance at that time.
I didn't have a brand at that time.
Like, I had nothing.
We really built this from the ground up.
So I'm proud to say it's millions of dollars that we've made.
And I'm, I don't care.
I don't care if it's true, not true.
If you still understand what this screenshot, like, okay, cool, I've never said that I
haven't communicated with you.
I don't care if you, like, I don't care.
Like, okay, Janelle, you, that's a hill that you're willing to die on.
Shout out to Janelle for all the views that I've got.
Thank you so much.
Couldn't have done it without you.
Eye roll.
If that's what she's looking for, glad that I've been able to give that to her.
But I don't understand.
And this is something that I wanted to talk to you about for a long time, for like really
long time. But now it's the perfect opportunity. There are some of you in the teen mom space that I feel
like y'all are cheerleaders for each other. And then there are some of you in the team mom space
that it's like this competition or somewhat predatory behavior on, I don't like that that person
is doing better, so I'm going to target them type situation.
And I don't, what bred that type of behavior?
Janelle?
Because let me not just blame Janelle.
I'm at fault too.
And I think I've talked about it on coffee combos before.
But in case you're new here, I'm just going to do a little backstory on this.
So I've told Lindsay this.
Maybe you guys remember when 16.
pregnant first started, I got casted for season two. Season two was split into two separate
episodes, two separate cast basically. So I think it was like 19 or 20 girls and it ended up
getting split into two seasons, two A and two B. I was originally supposed to be on two B. But Ashley
Salazar's story was not finished. So they ended up swapping us. I took her spot as the season finale on
2A. Because I was added late to that cast, Janelle, Leah, Chelsea had already known each other and
met each other for, do you remember Suchin Poc? She did like a bunch of interviews and stuff.
Oh, yeah. Yeah. Press circuits that I was not part of because I was supposed to be on another,
basically on the second part of the season. Okay. When they swapped us and I became part of the
two A cast, they had already known each other. And I think that that started,
sort of like a familiar bond between Chelsea and Leah.
So I come in late and as it happens when you're teenagers and young adults,
you just kind of get into like you become friends with certain people.
And not that I wasn't friends with Chelsea and Leah,
but they were sort of paired off.
And so me and Janelle became friends.
And that's why MTV was calling me to bail her out of jail,
to pick her up, take her to the airport.
Her and Barb, you, like, called me one time to pick her up from the airport,
stuff like that.
So Janelle and I became like friends.
And then, you know, as time goes on and certain things happen in other people's lives and whatever, things are shifting.
Leah had gone away at one point.
And, you know, she had her own struggles.
Chelsea and I became closer and Janelle was still there.
So it was then me, Chelsea, Janelle.
By that time, so many years and so much damage had been done that I was not aligning myself with Janelle anymore for a long time before that.
So she went on these like rampages about like how I would exclude her.
We would be mean girls.
And it was this, that and the third.
And it's like, no, it's just like things shift.
People change.
People gravitate towards other people at some points.
And so that's where all of that started.
But she really started to like go online and like talk about it.
And it wasn't intentional.
It wasn't like, oh, I hate Janelle.
I'm going to stay away from her.
It was just I was at that time, at those certain times moving myself in other directions and
trying to propel myself into different directions.
And Chelsea and I had a better.
relationship at that time. So I don't really know. I just think the dynamic so interesting because
it's almost like sisters, but like haters. I don't know how to describe like what I see. And I think
it's such a dynamic that it almost perpetuates the way that the air time and stuff is,
given out, it almost perpetuates a jealousy within the show. Some people get more time than
others, you know, and then y'all do these reunions and weren't y'all doing those like in New York
City all the time? It was either L.A. or New York. It always depended. And then, you know,
I think it's probably natural to feel excluded if nobody's hanging out with you and you're on a
show when you feel like the outsider.
I mean, you have to self-reflect, I guess.
But I just couldn't imagine being on a show with other cast and it being all girls.
It was, it was tough.
I mean, there were periods of time.
I mean, you guys saw that I was the closest out of all of them to Leah at one point, right?
For a long time.
We did vacations together, birthday parties, visited her in West Virginia.
She came to Delaware.
I went to her and Jeremy's, like, there was, it's just what was going
on at the time.
I don't know.
It was never intentional to be mean to Janelle.
And like I've said that.
I feel like I've been very, very vocal about it all these years.
So when I went and did Matt's show for the, he had a sold out arena tour, he asked me
to be a part of the VIP session with the question and answer.
And somebody brought up teen mom too.
So like it wasn't like I just happened to say Brianna and Janelle's name.
It was like it came up and it was a comedy show.
it's like meant to be funny. It wasn't meant to be an actual shot at anyone. It was just like,
do you know what I mean? Like it's like, I thought we were in a place that we could all make jokes.
But when you take it that seriously, it's like, okay, I understand I can't. I do not need to joke
with Janelle at any point ever. But I just wanted to say I got that in real time while we were
recording. And I am here to tell every fucking person listening to Coffee Combos podcast.
I do not give one single fuck if Lindsay did or didn't ask Janelle. I do not give one single
fuck if she asked 20 people before she asked me, y'all blocked your own blessings. And I do not care.
I won. So thank you. Are you starting off the new year with a full wardrobe refresh?

Actually, when we, it actually will be after Kristen's surgery, I guess, or if she has time
at any point after this.
but I would like her to be able to find my emails from my old agent because everything would be
in those emails from any conversations that were had with anyone because he was actually going out
to other people. And the only person that I recall him ever possibly recommending was Ryan
Edwards new wife. Wait, that surprises me. For some reason, I thought. Because she was, I think the, I think, no, not like his
current wife.
No, no, no.
McKenzie Edwards.
Yeah, McKenzie Edwards is who was suggested to me.
I, that surprises me because I thought for some reason you asked Chelsea and Leah.
Kristen can find the emails because it would all be an email.
That's so interesting to me.
But yeah, like everything happens for a reason and the way that it's supposed to happen.
And we started the podcast, not knowing anything, me wanting to get into podcast.
by looking at something in a Delta Sky magazine of seeing, no, it was like a projection for like
the podcast space. Remember me telling you this? No, I don't remember. I was flying somewhere and
I never read those magazines in the back of the seas ever. Divine intervention. And I had opened it up
and it was this whole article about podcast and the projections like for years leading up and how fast the
space was growing. And I was like, oh, wow, that would be something that would be so cool and I could
do on my own. And I'm sure that you probably felt like this on your show wanting to,
you were grateful for the opportunity that you had, but also wanting something of your own
nobody else had. And it's not, it's not that you didn't want them to have things, but just something
that you had that they weren't attached to. Yeah. And so that's what I wanted. So I immediately went to
my agent and I was kind of talked, attempted to be talked out of doing podcasts because agents at that
time didn't really know where the podcast space was going.
How ads were truly going to be sold and if they were going to be consistent.
It was really so new.
And so I feel like you and I jumped into podcasting at a perfect time.
And I want to say, I don't care who has a podcast or.
who wants to get in the space. My sister got in the space way after us. My parents got in this
space after us. If Janelle wants to get into the space, cool. It's just disheartening that you guys
were on a show for as long as you were together and that you held a friendship at some point
and you have a network and it couldn't be figured out how y'all could collaborate.
I mean, in theory, that sounds good. And I think that that mentality is great, but I would not
signed Janelle. And I mean, I get it. I'm just saying from like a outsider. No, yeah, for sure,
for sure. Like, I'd sign pretty much any other teen mom. Almost. Like, there's room for everyone. And that's
why I don't, I don't understand. Like, if you're going to be successful, you're going to be successful,
focus on your own self. Like, why is the focus everywhere else? Well, I mean, listen,
I'll tell you what, I did not anticipate January going how it has gone so far.
I had a lot of goals.
I created a 2026, a physical 2026 bingo card for myself.
I did vision boards.
I have written down things.
I have done certain a point at my financial advisor's office yesterday.
Like there are certain things that I'm putting in place.
I could not have anticipated the amount of publicity.
like online drama between me and Janelle, the horse video, dropping my relationship with Ike,
like all of this stuff happened in literally 10 days.
And I just want to say that I am scared for the rest of the year.
Because if the rest of the year is going to be as fast-paced as these two weeks,
I don't know what I'll do.
What has happened to me in the past two weeks with just like various different things
that have been going on online?
then getting sick. Normally I'm on my phone a decent amount of time throughout the day. Not as much
as what I used to be, but I wanted a decent amount of time. Haven't really been on my phone that much
since we last recorded, which would have been like mid-December. And the stuff that's been going
on online, I'm like, I don't give a fuck. Like, I don't give a fuck about online. Yeah. I'm offline for a reason.
I definitely, I've only read one book this month so far.
If that tells me the amount of scrolling and on my phone that I've been with all of the shit that's been online these last two weeks, I have not been focusing on reading.
So I definitely don't want that to be the trajectory of the rest of the year.
Okay.
I hold my son and daughter to different standards.
There was an article on Yahoo.
And it says that my daughter regularly asks to do the dishes.
She also likes making her bed, preparing her own breakfast.
breakfast and generalized sweeping, which is not terribly effective, but nice in theory.
In short, she is a parental dream proving at age nine not only helpful, but a full validation
of my laissez-faire.
I don't know what that word means.
Approach to parenting.
I don't know.
The problem is that my 11-year-old son most certainly does not ascribe to this philosophy,
leaving breadcrumb-like trails of socks and used tissues around the house and sooner going
hungry than lifting a finger to make his own food. In fact, he's stealthily found a way to convince
his sister to make snacks for him. And I often catch her hustling around the kitchen, preparing two
trays of pre-dinner snacks, whatever. And the expert says there's a problem here. Most parents don't
try to hold their kids to different standards. And of course, her husband thinks that boys and girls
should be held accountable in equal measure. But the fact remains, most of us expect more from people
who have previously exhibited aptitude and less from those who have not.
So case and point, if the coffee table is littered with seltter cans and school supplies,
my instinct is to ask my daughter to clear it even if her brother was the one who made up the mess.
So this is sort of where gender roles start, I feel.
After all, if I ask her to clean things up, I know it will get done without conflict.
And sometimes mommy's just tired, but the cycle isn't healthy.
So Lori Kramer has a PhD, and she's a professor in applied psychology at Northeastern University.
and she's an expert on sibling dynamics.
She says, we tend to expect that girls are going to be much more nurturing than boys.
They're the ones we ask to help out around the house or to get the diapers, whereas we expect
boys to be a protector of younger siblings or to be the fun one and the good play partner.
And the issue isn't that we're wrong.
Girls are often more conscientious and attentive to detail.
The issue is that it does a disservice to boys who have the potential to be just as conscientious,
even if those characteristics don't emerge until a little bit later.
And I would agree with that.
This says this applies not just to tangible behaviors at home.
It also is things that we don't see and the emotional labor.
Sometimes we are implicitly asking a particular child to be the counselor, the empath,
the one to carry the bad feelings.
And if that child is always the daughter, that teaches a particular lesson to both children.
So I would agree.
I have noticed that my daughter,
instinctually and without being asked, does things very differently than the boys do.
What? Can you give an example? Yeah, cleaning up. If I tell the toddlers, specifically, Rioverson
Valley to clean up this room, Valley will do it. Verse will just kind of linger. So Valley will do
it. She cleans up. She likes, well, verse doesn't like a mess. So if he spills something, he immediately
is asking for a napkin to clean it up. So I will.
say that. That doesn't come from me. That comes from Elisha because I have executive dysfunction and I'll
leave the water spill there all day. So it's really interesting. Like Lincoln, Lincoln is probably my
messiest child. So if you ask him to clean up, his cleaning up is very, very different than,
like I would argue that Valley cleans up better than Lincoln. Really? Yes. That's so great. Do you feel
like Valley is nurturing? Yes. But some of my boys are too. Like,
Some of my boys can be, I mean, Lincoln's messy and he might not clean up as well, but he also is very, very nurturing to his siblings.
So I would argue that this article is kind of spot on.
If you treat it differently, if you treat the kids differently, they're going to do, they're going to definitely do different things.
But if you treat them kind of the same when it comes to stuff like that, they will be relatively the same, if that makes sense.
I definitely feel like this year, and I don't know if you felt like this when your boys became teenage.
I don't know one teenager.
I don't know. I was having a conversation with David and I said there's a lot of things that like I want Jackson to learn to do this year for himself.
And I'm like, that's even if it's just like making something for himself in an air fryer because I am so hands on with him.
and I don't know if it is my nature to be that way or if it's because I've had one and I have
the ability to be able to do everything.
I think that's part of it for sure.
And we definitely have an obligation to teach our sons how to do things a certain way.
But it is hard because sometimes it is easier just to do it for them than it is to let them do it.
But as moms, do you feel like, because I don't know, um,
I don't want him to just do like gender role jobs. You know what I mean? Like, you can also load a dishwasher as well as you can take out a trash bag. Yes, I agree. Yeah. So when we're talking about boy girl, boy jobs versus girl jobs, I would agree. And on that note, we have foul play. Hey, ladies, I love you two. I'm catching up on my episodes and let me say I love the podcast. Y'all make me laugh and get me through my work and you two are doing amazing. So,
Well, 2026 is not off to the great start.
So me and my ex-baby baby daddy number two, a long time ago, we were in the mood and I was getting into it.
So I decided to give him head and I thought I was looking all cute with my back arch and my ass in the air.
I was getting turned on.
I was getting turned on more and deep-throated him.
And let me say I went a little too far and I let out the loudest fart ever in my life.
Girl, I sounded like a fucking elephant.
I just stopped.
It killed the mood.
and I was so embarrassed and he was laughing at me.
Well, yeah, that's it.
And if it makes it on the podcast, I hope you laugh and let me know that I'm not the only one
that farts while trying to deep throat.
Love you, ladies.
Okay, I need to know if there is an association with a throat and asshole.
No, I thought she was going to say she like burped or she like threw up.
Yeah.
I don't.
Is there an association from here to here?
Farting while giving head is crazy.
It's like I don't know.
I wonder if she just has.
had gas like burps and farts and it came out the butthole.
Like she was like swallowing air basically.
Yeah.
It's kind of like with the time that you said that you didn't want to queef because that guy
was pumping you with air.
Your dick isn't big enough.
I need you to do better, you know.
You're filling me with air, not dick.
Who like, who did I think I was when I was telling that joke?
Like, I don't know because like I queef and it wasn't a
size issue. You know what I mean? It's still embarrassing, but.
I mean, for me to just lay there and quefe and then laugh, I mean, it truly was like a
Cruella moment. Like, not a Cruella moment. A Crewella moment. I'm going to fucking laugh right
now and I've got to think of something and it's this meme that I saw. I wouldn't have
queefed if you didn't fill me with air and you filled me with dick. Period. Also, no,
candles around sex because Lindsay's hair will absolutely catch on fire. So we just have to be careful.
God, do you ever look back on your past and you're like, I should have never been with that person?
Yeah, every damn day in my life. But it's like far too late. You know what I mean?
And I've got products of the relationship as well. I mean, at least I will say I can excuse mine somewhat
because I don't I don't have children with those people. I love my children. I wish I could have
conceived them immaculately.
Kristen said she needs to sex-proof her room.
Yeah, you do need a sex-proof of your room.
I love that.
