But one heated Valentine’s weekend conversation changes everything, turning an already complicated relationship into a very public heartbreak. What followed were accusations, receipts, Reddit theories, and a level of betrayal that extended far beyond the relationship itself.Kail and Lindsie unpack what happens when private pain becomes public, how children and co-parents inevitably become part of the fallout, and the impossible tension between still loving someone and no longer trusting them. I hate gift giving and receiving.
Receiving gifts is so weird.
What do you say thank you?
This is coffee convoes with Kail Lowry and Lindsay Crissly.
I really want you to be in your feels, Kail.
That does not interest me whatsoever.
I feel very attacked by you.
A spirited discussion about motherhood, friendship, family, and life in the public eye.
I'm just not with the fakery anymore.
There's a fakery bakery around here.
Here's Kail and Lindsay.
Disclammer.
This episode was recorded in early May, 2026 prior to the events that have since
unfolded. The conversation reflects the information and circumstances as they were at the time of
recording. Hey, y'all, welcome back to coffee convos. If you are joining us from the Southern Tea,
thank you so much for coming over. This is part two of our conversation, continuing right where we left
off. We're so excited to have you here, so let's get into it. I will get into where we currently are
after we discuss February. Oh, okay. However, I do want to get into a little bit more of the financial
part of relationships because I do think that that is so important when when he has a career and I have
one and you are blending families and he's bringing one child to the situation and I'm bringing one
child to the situation and there have been conversations about potentially having another child
and there's constantly legal stuff that's going on from the other situation I have to look at
that because that's not going on in mine so I have to look at that.
as in the event that we are a combined income household, we are basing our life off of said
combined income. If there is not a stop, what am I supposed to do about that? Because that's money
being spent on one side that's not being spent on the other. That's not fair to my kid.
And that's not fear to my future child. Well, I think there's a lot to be said for the financial
aspect of it all because we all know how expensive court is. We all know, well, let me not say we all.
We in this room know how expensive lawyers can be and custody battles can be. So for you,
if you're taking on this person and you didn't sign up for this and you, in theory, don't really
want to combine your income into that. If you're combining income and household, you are
sort of financially responsible for that. And so what happens when he doesn't have the money,
it falls onto your plate.
And then we are now at odds again because I revert back to, I didn't sign up for that.
Like you signed up for that.
I got out of mine and we're in a functioning situation.
I do want to clarify, too, for anybody listening, there are people who enter into relationships
like this where this happens and they fully know what they're signing up for when they enter it,
right?
they fully know, okay, this person is in a custody battle. I may have to be financially responsible,
and they're okay with that. For you, you're saying, I did not sign up for this. I did not know
the extent of what was going on. And now I have to decide for not just for my own mental health,
but also my financial health. I think it's not advisable at all for someone to get involved
with someone else knowing that, I mean, obviously you cannot predict the future, right?
So with him and I meeting in September of 2024, he couldn't predict what was going to happen
this past July, right? And that wouldn't be fair for me to say that he could predict it.
But with that being said, that has been financially costly for both parties that are involved
in that. I'm looking at it from my perspective saying, number one, I don't want the dysfunction.
number two, I don't want the financial spend.
Number three, get it the fuck together.
Number four, my child's not being subjected to it because he wasn't subjected to it in his own situation.
My ex-husband's now being inconvenienced.
There are a lot of factors that go into looking at a situation in totality and saying,
okay, these are the things that are being presented.
Why can you not see them?
Which, again, begs the question, is love enough?
For me, love is enough.
I will do it obviously with if we have the same goals in mind.
For you, you're saying, no, I don't want any parts.
So is love enough for you?
I do get what you're saying, but also with that being said, this has been the majority
of our relationship that this has been going on.
And so I would love to know what our life would have looked like together with a copesthetic
situation that this wasn't going on. And I wish at 52 when this struck in July, he would have
come to me and said, I know that this sucks and I know it's going to break your heart, but I do
not want you to have to go through this because you didn't go through it. And I'm going to step
away for your piece so that I can get peace. And if you're still available when this is all said
and done, let's do that. But it is not worth, he should have known me enough by then to be able
to make that move. And I think that's why I'm so upset. Because he essentially dragged you through it all.
Yeah. And I don't feel like I was deserving to be drug through it all. I would agree.
But I also signed up for it to some degree because I also as an adult had an option to say,
hey, I don't want to go through this. But you didn't know what you were going to go through. So you
couldn't have a great, you didn't know, you had never gone through it. So you couldn't have
predicted what it would be like. Because it's one thing to say, oh, yeah, you know, I love you.
I want to support you through this. You know, we're going to get through this together. And then
you start the process of trying to be there for him and you realize it's more on your plate than
you're willing to take on. And so at that point, you know, you can do, you're doing what that
would look like, essentially. Like when David and I started dating, it was operating off of,
of a co-parenting plan.
Like, yes, rigid still, and they're still operating off of that.
But it was the known, right?
Now it's in the unknown.
And I don't know when the end is.
And I'm looking for the end so that I can have either an end or a beginning for myself.
This is heavier than I ever anticipated, to be honest with you.
And I don't know to your.
Point, like, is love enough?
I think with answers, love can be enough because I can adjust to what I know.
I can't adjust to the unknown and what's going to hit next week.
I'll tell you what, there is nothing in my life within the past five years that has stressed
me out more than not knowing what's next.
When you are actively finding out things in real time and it's just hitting you back to back
to back and you never expected it. And then the other thing is court dates, especially in regards
to children. I don't care how solid your fucking case is. The anxiety, the stress, the mental load,
all of the things revolving around that, it affects every aspect of your life and seeps out
every fucking where. Everywhere. So you and David could be great, right? And be together,
be great. But maybe he's snapping at you because he's stressed out.
about the court date. So even if he doesn't drag you through it with him, that stress and that
anxiety of whatever he's dealing with is going to seep into your relationship, whether you like it
or not. And then you guys have to make the decision, okay, we're going to work through it because
we understand the pressures that each other is under. Or this is too much. This is not fair.
We need to take a step back. And if we are still wanting to be together when all is said and done,
then that's a decision that only you two can make. With that being said, those situations have happened.
and I feel like because of the outside stressors,
I have regularly said you don't have room for conflict in your life
when it presents itself in your current relationship
because there's so much conflict and financial spend somewhere else
that that consumes your availability for any type of conflict.
Our relationship is not going to be perfect.
So if there is conflict and we want to resolve said conflict,
you want to live in a state of butterflies and rainbows and think that everything's going to be
perfect with us.
That's not the case.
And you don't have the availability to have any conflict in your current relationship because that consumes everything.
Yeah.
I can't live in that state.
I mean, and it's not fair to me.
Like, that's real.
It is.
And I think probably a lot more people go through it than what I know.
I just haven't talked about it.
I haven't really talked about it to my personal friends.
It's something that I silently struggle with every day thinking, okay, well, tomorrow it'll be better.
And then tomorrow comes and it's something else.
Because it's seeping into other assets, other facets of his life.
Yeah.
In terms of timeline, you guys are back together November of 2025.
We got back together in December of 2024.
So also on opposite holiday schedules for certain things.
well and so when you're thinking about blending a family that blend becomes a family unit whether the
outside people that you were with before like it or not us four would be a family unit to some degree
and somebody's going to have to bend somewhere right and so all the bending has been on mine
and will's end not on david and his ex's end no
not at all. I think for me, that alone would deter me. That alone, if we are not both being equally
flexible, I don't have any, I don't have business being here because like I said to you before,
especially about like vacations and summers and things like that. Like, these are step siblings at,
you know, at the point that you guys decide to continue the relationship, they become step siblings.
They need to form a bond too. And then if you're not spending holidays together or if you guys want to
make plans, but you have one of the kids and not the other. That kind of feels off too.
It does. And we've ran into that. And then I look at the bigger picture of everything. And it's like,
okay, well, if David and I potentially did have a child, right? That means on some Christmases,
we would have two of the kids. And then on some Christmases, we would have one of the others
with the one that we constantly had. Yeah. Or consistently had. So it would never be.
three together for holidays, which is going to build resentment for those children later down the
road because I have said to David, I'm not going to stop travel because one person can't go.
That's not fair to the others that are flexible.
All right.
I feel like the second you're pregnant, you're basically living at the doctor's office and it doesn't
stop once you're a mom because there are appointments, sick visits, all of those things.
And it makes you appreciate the nurses, the doctors, and everyone who takes care of you and your kids through all of it.
So if you're a healthcare professional, you deserve the best, starting with what you wear.
And that's where figs comes in.
I love figs so much.
I think they are the cutest scrubs ever.
And every doctor's office that I go to, they are all always wearing them.
If you have ever seen someone in super cute scrubs, they are probably figs out with the boxy, stiff scrubs,
and with breathable, flexible, and ridiculously soft fabric that feels as good as it looks,
which says a lot.
Plus, they've got thoughtful details plus pockets in all the right places, and they come
in a ton of gorgeous colors.
So if you're in healthcare or shopping for someone who is, check out figs.
Go to wearfigs.com and use code figs rx for 15% off your first order.
That's wherefigs.com.
Code figs rx.
That's tough.
that's really fucking tough
that is
I went through a similar situation with
Elliot and Lincoln
I was married had Lincoln
Joe didn't want me to take Elliot to the Bahamas with us
it was an all-inclusive paid vacation
by my company at the time
Elliot couldn't go
you know what I mean he said no
Elliot couldn't go and that was really difficult
because it's like
why would you turn that down you know what I'm saying
and people you know some people
listening to this might say, okay, that's out of touch. That's not really that big of a deal.
It is.
Because, you know, if you love the person, then you figure out how to make it work.
I am making a decision based off of every fact that I can get my hands on. And I think that is
the best thing that I can possibly do because I have said before, even if it's not a government
marriage, but we are married in the eyes of God, for us, that is married as much as it would be
to the government. And that is a commitment.
at that point. I'm not going through a second divorce. Well, the other part of it is like the stress of
figuring it out sometimes is too much for people to bear. Yes. Like, why does anybody get to decide
for you? Oh, well, you'll just figure it out. Well, you don't know what I can handle. You don't know
what actually figuring it out looks like for us. You don't know what it's like to deal with the other
person's ex is. You don't know what that looks like for, you know what I mean? So,
I mean, I don't need.
It just makes it really difficult to come to a conclusion when there's something looming that could change the aspect of everything.
Because in a lot of high conflict co-parenting situations, I have seen judges in our area be like, you guys are so high conflict that now you guys want to share 50-50.
If I'm going to award that, that's going to be week on, week off.
that completely disrupts everything that we currently know.
I don't know how Georgia is, but in Delaware, if you allow your court hearing,
if you allow your custody case to make it in front of a judge and you have a full-blown hearing,
that order is mandatory for two years.
You cannot file to modify custody for two years.
Then you have to keep in mind if you absolutely hate what the
judge ordered, you're stuck with that for two years. You cannot modify. And then further,
in where we live, the judge has 90 days post-hearing. So if your, if your hearing is on August 1st
of 2026, you do an eight-hour hearing. Here, you have not, they have 90 days. So now you've
paid hourly for the hearing. You waited almost 90 days. You're stuck with a schedule that may not
work for either parent because I was able to thankfully get an order that tailored my
kids' schedule around my work because I have the flexibility. David might not have that flexibility.
His ex might not have that flexibility. You and Will might not have that flexibility.
And now you're stuck with an order for whatever, however many years in the state of Georgia.
And you're stuck. And now what? Now everybody loses because nobody is willing to be flexible.
Nobody's willing to bend. Nobody's willing to give or take and have it reciprocated.
and now everybody's stuck with a miserable schedule that is in place for X amount of time.
I say to people all the time, attempt to not go to court.
Because if you allow a judge to make a decision for you, chances are both people to some degree
aren't going to like it.
Yep.
So you might as well, you might hate the other person.
You might load them, but you might as well go to a mediation.
You sit in one room, you sit in one room, have your attorneys there.
come to a mutual agreement and mutual understanding knowing that you're both bending to some degree,
but you're bending to a place that, okay, I'm comfortable with it and I know what it is.
Yes.
Then waiting 90 days before you even get an order to something that you might not like.
Yep.
So that's insane to me.
So at that point, this has been a constant conversation and a point of a point of
contention in our relationship since July of 2025 of 2025 so eight eight-ish months this has been
going on in your relationship for eight months for eight months so that's enough to send anyone
into a fucking spiral I decide that I'm going to have a conversation with him because he had kind of
halted the conversations and he said we can have conversations
when this is all said and done,
but I don't want to continue having conversations about it.
I get that,
but also now I'm being drug through something,
and I understand to some degree it's by choice,
but I also didn't choose it
because I didn't know what I was walking into.
And now I am in love with you.
We have started building a life together.
We have a relationship.
Our kids love each other.
We love each other's kids.
And now I'm being told,
let's just wait to have conversations until later.
I don't know when it's going to be done.
I can't do that.
So I told him in February, we decided to go out on February the 13th for Valentine's Day.
And we were celebrating a day early because we did not want to be a part of the Valentine's crowd.
Fair enough.
And I told him, hey, I can't, I cannot keep doing this.
There is no end in sight on this.
and we just need to go our separate ways for a period of time until there is an answer
because I can't make an answer for myself until then.
So just to play devil's advocate here, inside the relationship you could not continue,
but outside the relationship is also sort of some of the same.
Because in the back of your mind, I would guess that you maybe hope that one day you will
find your way back to him.
I think that was probably my intention, but I could feel like,
I was more in control of my own life if I wasn't facing that every single day.
And at least if he came back to me at the point that it was over and I didn't like it,
I had already started going off on my own way, doing my own thing.
Having some sense of normalcy, getting your life back to where you want it to be doing the
things that you want to do without that being a controlling factor of my life.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
I can see that.
I would say it was a relatively.
heated discussion. I asked him, I said, we need to go home. I would really like for you to drop me off at my house.
Go home. We can have a conversation at another time, but this conversation is going nowhere.
Like, we do not need to continue going down this path because it's already a heated conversation.
So at the point that it gets that heated, he's not hearing me and I'm not hearing him.
So no matter what we say, he's hearing his side and I'm hearing mine and there's no meat in the middle.
So he drops me off at home.
He gets all of his things that were at my house, leaves.
And evidently, in the time that he's leaving, I don't know if he called one of his guy friends or his guy friend called him.
He ended up going to a nearby town, met this friend at a bar, left that nearby town, came back to another bar in our little downtown area.
I can understand people doing things that are questionable.
Questionable out of character.
Something that I personally have.
never experienced with him. Maybe in his mind when he left my house, that was the end. But I
continue to go back to, we would regularly have spats. And it's like, we're done. And then tomorrow
we're not. Yeah. You know? And so that's why it's really hard for me to swallow. Because you
didn't even give it enough time to cool off and have a level-headed conversation in a state.
that didn't feel like we're at each other's throats over something that truly neither of us can
control at this moment. Apparently, he was at a bar less than 45 minutes after he left my house.
The problem with this is that he has two friends from his past, one of the guys that he has known
since eighth grade, the other one that he has known most of his adult life, that I don't fuck with
at all. And quite frankly, I don't want to surround myself at 36 years old with people who surround
themselves with people that make questionable choices.
Well, I'm talking about questionable choices of, you know, this person is in a relationship
with someone.
This, David had told both of these people that he was in love.
love with me and to go out and condone and encourage for what?
It's interesting that like men, I'm not saying women don't do it at all, but men specifically,
do they not respect relationships the same way that women do?
Like in a friend group, if I was to go out with Alessandra and you and Rebecca and
Lissa, I know Rebecca is married.
Alessandra may as well be married and Lissa is in a relationship.
Depending on the day for you.
I am depressed.
You're depressed and I'm also, I'm not going to put them in a compromising situation
where their partners would have to question their behaviors and their behaviors when they're with me.
Correct.
But it also doesn't cross my mind, right?
Like it doesn't cross my mind to go out and do things like that knowing that myself or my
friends are in a relationship.
Like we're going to think about doing a sleepover at the content house.
We're going to think about going out to dinner and getting oysters on a cracker for Lindsay.
And talking shit. And definitely talking shit and definitely keeping things in a funny group chat.
And but never like in a controlled environment.
Yeah, I'm not taking you out to potentially further damage whatever it is that you're going through.
Honestly, based on the information that you just said to me with those two friends knowing him for as long as they have,
they should have known better that that was not what he needed.
It's like, hey, you know, maybe David reached out to them.
And it's, hey, man, like maybe, why don't we go to one of our houses?
Go for it, buddy.
Go for it.
Like, knock yourself out.
Do whatever you're going to do.
You'll have a sleepover.
Like, I don't care what you're doing in the confines of your home.

Well, I was going to get, so we're going to go back. So we're currently at February the 13th.
But I think it is important regarding these two specific friendships, someone that he has known since eighth grade.
David and I were out to dinner one night.
And this was when we had gotten back together after that initial breakup.
Okay.
And this friend calls David.
I answer the phone.
And he's like, oh, y'all come to such and such place.
David text him and called him to ask him, who was this?
with him. He did not give any details other than this other guy friend that he happened to be
with on February the 13th. David and I walk in and a woman was there that David had had sexual affairs
with prior to me. That is completely inappropriate for his friends to do knowing that David and I were
together, putting David in a situation that now his girlfriend's going to be upset, no telling
what this other woman's going to think.
Did you know when you got there that he had previously had sex with her?
Or did he tell you?
I knew.
I knew from multiple people.
That's something that I will stand 10 toes down on.
Don't ever in your fucking life embarrass me and put me around someone that you slept with and
you didn't tell me.
It's one thing for you to tell me and give me a.
heads up. Hey, I don't know why that girl is here. I did sleep with her. I'm just giving you a heads up.
Are we going to fight about it? Yeah, probably. But it's going to be significantly less,
a very much more minimal argument than if I didn't know and I find out later.
So inevitably, it causes conflict with David and I at that time. And I said, if that's what your
friends are going to do, I do not trust to be around them. Yep. And in fact,
I don't trust you to be around them.
I agree.
Wholeheartedly agree with that.
Why are you setting your friend up for failure?
I don't know.
And the only thing I said to David was for me to ever be able to trust because also that's a friendship that he's had since eighth grade.
And I'm not saying it's a healthy friendship, but it's a friendship that he has maintained since eighth grade.
If you ever want to be around that person, again, after the level of disrespect and how not only was I disrespected,
David was disrespected.
Then there needs to be an adult conversation, and I would be willing to meet that person
to sit down and have an adult conversation to explain why that is inappropriate.
I'm not sure why I'm explaining that to a 50-something-year-old.
Oh, the friend is also 50?
They're all in their 50s.
Oh, hell.
Oh, hell.
That's not.
No, because the problem is sometimes we outgrow friendships, and that's okay.
And you can love somebody from a distance, and you can love the past that you have.
with them, but including romantic breakups.
There sometimes needs to be friend breakups.
And that to me sounds like those are not good people for him to surround himself with.
So now we fast forward back to February 13th.
So I decide something's not sitting right with me.
Something just instinctively, like, was not right.
This is February 13th to February 14th.
Like, he leaves my house sometime around.
like 10 something on February 13th. Goes out. Goes out. I wake up around 11. Look at my phone and I have a
text from my friend who is also and the first text was, hey girl, would you like to come in?
And I'm like, why would she just be like texting me like on Valentine's Day? I'd be like,
yes, I do. You know, no questions asked. Yes. And then I get there and it's a fucking bombshell of
information. So then the following text when I didn't answer was, hey, I just want to know if
you're still with David. So I'm like, oh no. Like I'm now putting the pieces of the puzzle together
from- She wanted you to come in so she could tell you. So she could tell me something. So she
sends the second text when I didn't answer the first one, ask if I'm still with David. And so I call her
laying in the bed, he's sleeping beside me. And I said, hey, girl. And she said, hey, and she sounded so sad.
And she said, are you still with David? And I said, yeah. And she said, I have some photos and stuff
and text on my phone that you need to see. And I said, well, I'm literally right across the street.
are you there, I will come in.
So I drive over there and literally I'm in my pajamas.
No, how far is the drive?
Because I'd have bubble guts.
I would be pulling over on the side of the road.
Four minutes.
Oh, thank God.
Literally four minutes.
And I go in and find out that the girl that he was communicating with at the bar is a client
and knew that I was a client and friend.
So that's how I found out about it because the girl contacted her.
To tell you?
To tell me.
I said, do you mind if we call her because I want to hear it directly from the horse's mouth?
Like, I don't want to read it in a text.
I want to hear exactly what transpired.
Are you having bubble guts at this time?
I felt like I was having an out-of-body experience.
Like, I could hardly speak.
Number one, I just woke up.
So that was the first phone call that I made when I woke up from the text that I had received while it was asleep.
And I was nervous, but at the same time, instinct, like, instinctually, I had an inkling that, like, something was wrong.
It was like a gut feeling.
Right.
And so I talked to the girl, and she was very calm, said that David and his friend were in the bar.
And so I will never say that I do not believe what the girl said because why would they just like randomly lie about it go out of the way to contact to give me the information for no reason if it didn't happen.
It absolutely happened.
There were photo and video evidence of said stuff happening.
And I'm just really upset.
I'm upset with David because he is the person that was committed to me and over.
me loyalty. I am upset with the fact that he was with a friend that I have warned him about
repeatedly in our relationship. That is just not a good look. David claims that his friend was
name-dropping me at the bar to these girls for clout purposes to say, this is Lindsay
Chris Lee's baby daddy and he's a big deal. The girls claim that David was the one saying it and his
friend was backing him up. So then now this has reached the internet on February 14th. And now there
are pregnancy rumors that he has gotten me pregnant, got caught cheating or attempting to cheat.
The pregnancy rumors because he was saying or they were saying,
or somebody was saying that he's your baby daddy.
Yes.
That's where the pregnancy rumors.
Okay.
That's where the pregnancy rumors came from.
While he physically did not cheat, the intention was to physically cheat.
To ask another girl if you can take her to dinner.
And I'm quoting what was text to me and said to me over the phone to take you.
to take you to a nice dinner and then fuck you.
While also name dropping me in a bar,
at the point that David says his friend was the one name dropping me
and the girls are saying David was the one name dropping me
and then his friend was backing him up by the name drop.
David's the one who owes me loyalty.
I have warned him about that friend.
He should not have been out with that friend.
In fact, he shouldn't have been out at all.
You're 52. Go to bed.
It's past your bedtime pop up.
You know?
Like, go to bed.
So I think that's really bothersome to me.
And then after it hit the internet, he has a public Instagram.
So it's like not private, right?
And I can only say if I was out of the public eye, I would have a private Instagram.
I would not have a public Instagram where everybody could be able to access that.
Same.
And I can just say that with full confidence, knowing that we are both public facing and I know what our lives would look like if we weren't.
And we would be way more private.
Waiting is disrespectful.
Okay.
If waiting were a person, I would block them.
And I think Lindsay would too.
But Ehrnan is a fintech app, not a bank, and that matters.
Think about how wild it is that when we work, then we wait, and then we get paid.
but that's the deal we just accept, right?
Meanwhile, you can get literally anything else instantly,
and Ernan has been changing that for over a decade.
You can get up to $150 per day of money you've already earned
and up to $1,000 between paychecks.
Kail, I want to ask you, have you ever had a time,
and I already know the answer,
but a time in your life that you were waiting on a paycheck
to do something like buy groceries or to cover a bill
or grab a last minute deal?
Um, yes.
Do you feel like it would have been different if you didn't have to wait?
It would have changed the game.
Listen, I used to have to wait every single week for grocery money in college.

So it's all over Reddit at this point.
And someone...
Let me just say, Reddit is out of all the social media.
Reddit is the worst one.
Reddit is the most diabolical, unhinged, truly, I have never been able to get on there and just, like, read because they are horrible to me.
It's horrible.
I have also found that people who personally know us or know people that people that know people that know us will be found in those comments.
Of Reddit?
Of Reddit.
Like us or you?
And David.
No, like, I'm sure it's happening to you too.
It's people who are, like, within an arm's length of you that are on there, um, making up theories of things.
Or like contributing to them.
Or contributing to a theory that is already out there by somebody who's on Reddit.
And I guess because it was on Reddit, somebody went on David's.
Instagram and the most recent post was from when he and I were in Mexico. And somebody had commented
under there from when that post was originally posted and said, like beautiful couple or something.
And one of these people, I'm assuming that were on Reddit, went under there and said,
except he cheated on her. At this point, Jackson sees the stuff, the cheating photos, go
on David's Instagram.
And David was on his Instagram after this person posted except he cheated on her.
And he comment, David commented back and said, she cheated.
I wouldn't consider what I did at the beginning of our five or six week relationship,
me cutting it off with him, cold turkey, blocking him and seeing Trent for four weeks,
I would not consider that cheating.
No.
Like he did leaving my house and being at a bar within 45 minutes.
Yeah.
And saying the stuff that was said and told to being by multiple people that was in that space, the exact same statements that came out of his mouth.
That is in fact cheating.
I would agree.
Because like you said, unfortunately, there was a history of patterns where you guys would break up and then get back together literally the next day.
This was another case of that.
So for me, I would agree with you.
And I know that there are going to be some people that say, well, no, because, you know, he's free to do whatever in that time frame.
No.
Within 45 minutes of leaving my house and telling me at a dinner that you want to marry me and then going out and doing that, no.
That is, in fact, cheating.
And if he didn't physically cheat, cheating isn't only physical.
The intentionality behind the actions of what he did was a temperament.
cheating, if nothing more.
Yeah, I think just the intent alone, like the thought of it.
And I get like alcohol was involved, but also surrounding yourself with someone who does not
respect or support your relationship didn't while you guys were together.
And even if you were broken up for a couple hours at that point, like the fact that he was
not a good friend to David to say, hey, bud, I think it's time we go home.
You know, we can handle this heartbreak at home.
We can go play fucking flip cup.
These guys on their 50s are ready to party.
go home.
Go party at home.
And I think what was so problematic to me is the fact that my name was being dropped in a bar
that I was not physically present at.
Like I was at home and why are 50-year-old men using my name in a bar to potentially pick up girls?
Girls.
Like that's really, really odd to me.
To the point of Reddit,
I get a screenshot.
I'm scared.
So after the photos and everything, the evidence has been posted on Reddit.
It is very clear of what is being done or attempted to be done.
This person goes on Reddit and says, okay, I got the tea this morning.
My boyfriend was working out with David and I went up and went up to get the real story.
I didn't trust, I went up to get the real story.
I didn't trust my boyfriend to get the story straight.
David said he loved Lindsay with all of his heart and they were talking about getting married.
He said they had the most loving relationship and the only thing that Lindsay started fights about was he had a baby with another woman and that he was divorced.
I'm going to pause right there.
Having a child with someone else is not the issue.
I have a child with somebody else.
It's the fact that you can't function with a child with somebody else.
Fair enough.
So that's not, that is completely untrue.
Agreed.
And I also knew at the time that I started dating him, he had a child with somebody else and was divorced.
Also, you've dated other people that had children.
Everybody else that I've dated had children and was divorced.
Yeah. And I know that could be true for a fact. So it's almost like a twist on.
Well, it's like whispered down the alley. It's like it's almost correct, which is I feel like that happens more often than just like blatant lies. It's like it's almost.
true. It says last Friday he took Lindsay out to dinner and she started a fight with him and when he
brought her home she broke up with him. He said that he told her to be sure because it was the last time
so make sure. She said yes and was absolutely sure. He left and was so upset he went and drank too
much. He did seem remorseful and nice. He said that she does have issues but we all do and felt like
things that were wrong with Lindsay and things that were wrong with him fit in their love and matched and
they had a great loving relationship when it was good.
Here's my problem with this.
Number one, that is not completely factual.
That is one side of a story that benefits one party and seems very much like I'm trying
to cover my ass because I got caught doing something that I shouldn't have been doing.
This is also a woman who posted underneath photos, photo evidence of him attempting
to cheat in a bar. What's weird to me, though, is like, why are we, first of all, why are we
believing men? That's number one. Like, you're believing a 50-something-year-old man. So those
things alone, again, dealing at 50-something years old, dealing with heartbreak or
breakup or whatever, the spat that you guys had, I don't care what kind of heartbreak it is to
be in your 50s is a problem. So that alone would lead me to believe that he's probably not being
honest with whatever he is telling his friend at the gym. So why didn't she just reach out to you for
your side? I also don't understand why we're in a gym discussing with people that we don't really know
personal details of our personal life. And then they're going to Reddit and posting this stuff,
which seems very intentional that it was either asked for that narrative to be put out on Reddit
or it was told that she would do that.
I have a problem with people in our lives, in this case, it's your life.
I don't care how far removed they are from your life.
If they know you or of you in any capacity, why are we posting to social media about them?
why are we doing that?
Because at the end of the day, you're a human being.
You're not a character on a TV show.
You're not a character in a cartoon.
Like, you are a human being and you guys are posting.
And again, this is a double-edged sword because, oh, just get off the get offline then.
Okay, but we've been doing this for how many years.
It's not that easy.
We can't provide the same way if we were to go the other route.
The people that are posting are the same people who would never be able to handle if they
were on the other side of it.
if they were in our shoes, if the entire table was turned,
they would never be able to handle some of the cruel,
I mean, disgusting and cruel things that people say.
And that alone, I'm sure, I did not read the comments on any Reddit posts.
I will not get up to me in a text.
I didn't read it myself.
But like, you know, whatever posts were up on Reddit about you in this situation,
we're probably so brutal that people would unalive themselves over on Reddit.
Reddit, don't go there if you're suicidal.
If you're already depressed, don't fucking go to Reddit.
it's insane and I it's really hard for me to understand why a woman would go even if that's the
information that she was given and knew that he was at my house that night and had taken me to
dinner and we got in an argument and then you're going to go on and defend a position knowing that
the photos of what he was attempting to do were from said same night but why didn't she deal
you, hey, this is what David said. This goes into the whole thing about people in your life or
people who know you no matter how close going to Reddit because it goes hand in hand. David knows
that she is a public figure. So anything that he says can and will be used against her.
Anything he says, whether it's the truth or a lie, can and will be used against you. And people in
our lives know that and they do it anyway. They do it. And I don't understand it. It's like you
think that we're just never going to find out that you did this? You think that you're,
you're better than me because you went and talked to someone and told someone my business.
Like, David, why are, why knowing that you are in the public eye and that this would get out?

I think that after I've had time to dissect a little bit of it, that I think that he was caught
between a rock and a hard place. And then he also had no business running to try to cover his ass once
it was caught. Yeah. One thousand percent. Just take it to the chin. Because now that I've seen
all of this and you think I'm not going to address it, don't try to convince me not to address it at this
point because you've gone and told narrative that is not true. You've tried to cover your ass. You went on
Instagram posted that I cheated. The other thing that pisses me off, though, this isn't a case of
difference of perspective, right? Because there's always going to be a difference of perspective.
We could watch the same car crash and have two different, two different takeaways. This is a case
of blatant and intentional distortion of events to make a certain side look better or worse.
Correct. It's intentional. I think the hardest part for me with reading that was you already know what situation that you chose to put us in, regardless whether we had a conversation the following day and we were like, no, this really is the decision and we need to stay apart and cooler heads prevailed. Go out and do your thing, whatever. I agree. You know.
Giving it until the morning to at least cool off.
Reconvene for a combo.
Yeah.
Say, are we really breaking up?
I just want to make sure while we're cooled down.
That's a great point.
Power in the pause.
You've talked about that so many times.
That is a really good point.
But then to do something that you're now aware has deeply hurt me in a way of betrayal.
And knowing that the reason that we're breaking up repeatedly is because of your past
and the dysfunction that is coming to my table,
that is not welcome at my table.
But then you're going to go out and do something like that
and then try to defend yourself at the gym or on Instagram.
But to strangers is crazy.
And so I had a conversation with him, actually.
I said, you and your friends have done things
that just don't align with where I'm at in life,
but also that feel.
very predatory towards the life that I'm living publicly. And when you know that, because you signed up
for it and you know it. So why would you put us in that situation? Why would you put yourself
in that situation? And then to ask me not to speak on it? Why do you think people do that? Not to
like divert the conversation, but why do you think people use someone's public following against
them. Why? I think it's because they know that people like to hear another side of a story
and they feel like they're going to gain something, whether that be traction, whether that be
emotional support, because chances are somebody who's, we're not out here like seeking people
to be like, oh, well, I'm going to bring them into my life.
And then I'm going to fuck them over.
We've got more to lose than they do.
They've got more to gain than we do.
But I guess I just don't understand the like, regardless if there's a falling out,
a breakup, anything like that.
Like I can't understand like using someone's following against them because even that
whatever instant gratification or relief they get, you know, using somebody's following
against them, it's very short-lived.
And then from that point forward, that's the only thing that's ever.
going to get them that gratification or that camaraderie or that support. Like, that is the only
thing. So, like, now you're tied and linked to the hate of that, that mutual hate of that
person. Yep. But then also, once you publicly do stuff like that, that's hard to come back from.
That's one thing that I've always said and you know I've stood on this. I will never,
ever, ever, ever be friends with someone ever again if they have tried to use my public following
against me because that is my livelihood. That's how I pay my bills. That's how I provide for my
children. And you have benefited from that. You have benefited from that in some way. Once you do that,
I will never look back. And that is why I'm able to be friends with Becky today and not other people.
But for you, it's like, this was somebody that you're deeply in love with that you've loved for
years at this point. So like- It is a level of betrayal that not only am,
Do I feel emotionally wounded in my personal life?
But now my personal life has been brought into my business life.
Yeah.
And there is no separation of that at this point.
And now my child's also involved because he nilly-willie at 52 goes out.
And because he didn't like what somebody commented on his Instagram to say he cheated on me for the response to be you cheated.
People can say my child was out of line at 13 years old.
At the end of the day, he's a mama's boy.
And at the end of the day, he's 13.
They're starting to like girls.
They're starting to do their stuff.
Is anyone at 13 years old making great decisions online?
Probably not.
I probably posted some weird shit when I was that age.
And I'm addressed.
I have already addressed the stuff with Jackson and with Will regarding the behavior and Jackson
commenting on David's Instagram.
It's been a bump in the road that I wasn't expecting to deal with.
with. Right. And to tell Jackson, like, hey, buddy, like, I'm very public. And when people see
you commenting on something, they're going to know that it's you. The fact is, is it came from your
account. And so you had no business going on there. Thank you for attempting to defend me. And I
understand that you're hurt as well, because now everything that we've known for the past two years
has imploded.
So his emotions are valid in that as well.
Oh, of course.
But like we can't be on the internet doing stuff like that.
What was Will's reaction?
Will was upset.
About Jackson having commented or about the entire situation?
Upset about the entire situation because I think as a co-parent and knowing that another man had been around his child and then for those actions to be done outside of a marriage.
Like we're in a dating situation trying to figure stuff out and that was done.
I think it hit a little bit differently to him.
But then also upset that Jackson went on there and commented, he's like he doesn't need to be communicating with David at all.
Like whether it be in a public comment, privately, nothing.
And so now I'm navigating all of that because do I deeply love David?
Yes.
Do I know if I can forgive it?
I don't know.
Either way I go, I'm going to lose to some degree.
I know that you have been in a similar public situation.
I would say yours was significantly worse.
That's not funny.
It's not, but there are for us.
I don't say that to be funny.
No, I know.
I'm laughing, but it's not like I'm.
What's interesting is that for us different as we are,
I would say that we are mostly polar opposites.
We have found ourselves in very similar situations over the years,
very, very, very similar situations over the years.
But this one, I think, being the most similar.
And within a year of each other.
And within a year of each other.
And I think our divorces were like some of the things that you went through in your divorce
were things that I had gone through with.
hobby as well. So in some aspects, like, we really have gone through. And also, I mean,
tumultuous relationships as well, relationships that I was more private with and ones that I wasn't.
We do have a lot of similarities. And for this, it scares me because I look at, you know,
we're almost, it's been a year, a full year since I found out that Elijah had cheated on me.
And I know how my kids handled that situation and how much time has healed a lot of that.
and, you know, I do have more kids than you do. And so I think it would be, it's a little bit trickier for me. I would say if in, in this scenario, you don't have that. You don't have the different opinions. And I think that is a little bit trickier. But for this, Jackson, one child is your entire world. And then you also have to co-parent with Will for the remainder of, you know, his adolescent. So the next five years. But then on top of that is college. And then when, you know, Jackson wants to start a family, you're going to be around Will forever. And so in, in, you know,
your instance, you do have to take into consideration heavily how Jackson feels and a little bit of
how Will feels because that's his child too. And his, you know, how Jackson feels is going to, you know,
weigh differently for Will as well. And so when you're subjected to, you know, this partner that Will has
bent for and accommodated in some ways and you're not even married to him, I would imagine that that would be
really upsetting because I could imagine, you know, my kids in this situation where I'm maybe,
maybe Elijah is dating and, you know, that person cheats on Elijah. And I'm thinking to myself,
I've literally gone a butt of and beyond for you guys and this is what you're doing. And now my
kids are subjected to this. And I think that if I had to guess, Will and I have not had
deep conversations about it,
but at the same time,
David's not around Jackson right now.
So I think I pulled the rug out from that situation
immediately when this episode happened
on February 13th, 14th.
Right. And so I think for Will,
he's like, as long as he's not around my son,
I'm going to stay out of it and let you handle it.
Handle it.
do you and figure it out at the point that he was ever going to be around jackson again
that would have to be a conversation that i would owe my ex-husband because again to your point
he has been over backwards with accommodating schedule um he has essentially allowed david to play a
role in jackson's life that will has not involved himself in and let that situation grow
naturally. And I think it just very much hits differently when we don't have the dysfunction
in our co-parenting. And so when the dysfunction is happening outside of that, and we know that
if it was just me and will, that dysfunction wouldn't be happening. And I'm also navigating on the other
side and have navigated for a period of time of these alleged, and I'm going to say,
alleged friends of David's saying or listening to the podcast or seeing things posted on
Instagram and saying, oh, well, I don't know why you're with her because she's just going
to end up back with Will anyway because she talks about him on our podcast.
I have known that man for 14 years at this point.
I also have a child with him.
I also co-parent with him.
And we also have a friendship.
So if I choose to talk about him, that does not mean that I'm still in love with that man.
But even if you were, even if that.
Even if you ended up getting back with him, who the fuck cares?
You guys are in your fucking 50s.
Please shut the fuck up and mind your fucking business.
Matter of fact, go take your Viagra and take your ass home.
Take your ass home.
Fucking piss me off.
You talking about what?
Sorry you guys have a copacetic relationship and you can get through shit.
I do believe in the event, and I don't even know what this would look like.
And I think that that's where I'm emotionally at, that not that it would make it any,
better or would change the facts of the situation if it was private.
But because it's public, there's a navigation of the public.
There is a navigation of the situation privately.
There is now a navigation with Will, with Jackson, with his ex-wife.
I'm sure she probably has her feelings on, you know, what's been done.
Have you had a conversation with David's ex-wife about any of this?
Yes.
Wow.
Yes.
And so everybody has feelings involved and everybody is valid to have those feelings.
And in the event that David and I were going to be together, there would have to be,
and I would say a demanded conversation on Will's part for David to speak with him.
Have Will and David talked?
Like at Jackson's basketball games, it's always been kind of copacetic.
Like in passing or not like you got, okay.
How is Jackson feeling about all of it?
I think Jackson's at a place to where he knows the actions that David did were wrong.
Yeah.
Well, he's old enough to understand.
And I think that that's his biggest hang up is I know this was wrong.
And remember me telling you about he's seen me cry a few times.
This has been one of them.
And so I think for him, he's like, oh, it's because it's really bad.
because mom cried.
So that holds more weight than...
Wait.
Okay.
And so I also think that he has always...
And it's not a child's job to protect their parent ever.
No.
But my relationship with him, he would go to war for me.
And I think that I can't negate any of those feelings.
as his mother.
And I know that you said time heals things.
I do believe that time heals things and like the newness of stuff wears off, but it doesn't
change the facts of what was done.
No, I agree.
I'm not saying it's going to make things better, but I will say that time has really helped
the relationship between Elijah and Elliot and Elijah and Lincoln.
And Lincoln is around the same age as Jackson.
So I was just, you know, at the end of the day, like Elijah is the father of three.
my children. I want my other kids to still respect Elijah. I still want them to have a good
relationship. I still want them to get along. And I think that Elijah has shown that to the kids
overall this time. I don't really love to rely on him for certain things, but there are certain times
where I can't do it. I can't do it. Pop up can't do it. We have to ask Elijah. And so for those reasons
and him being their little siblings' dad, you know, I want them to have a good relationship. And so I
don't think it's out of the question that if you did work it out with David, that Jackson would
come around. But with him being your entire world and your only child, I also understand you
not wanting to fuck that up and really wanting to take his feelings into full consideration.
I think that this situation is very difficult looking back on my own childhood. I was the only
child. And I would feel very much the same as like my feelings were not considered. And I think
I would have had more respect for my mom had she at least heard me out and then helped.
me with the process of rebuilding trust in whatever capacity or whatever relationship that I needed
help with. So do I think that David and Jackson could rebuild a relationship and David could win back
trust? Yes, I do. But that doesn't mean it's the right decision. Only you can know that. Only you can
decide that. But I think that you kind of already know. I just feel like I am in a perpetual state of
resentment. I'm in a perpetual state of current guilt for certain things. Um,
I want to forgive, but I don't know how.
I have no trust.
And what's really hurtful is you already knew that I had trust issues from things that I have deeply shared.
And to do that just feels like such a level of betrayal from being so deeply in my personal life and to know like life secrets that I've held on to and to allow you in.
for what for what and also to like with the intention to fuck one girl like to fuck a girl like he could have
literally went home went to bed woke up the next morning worked it out with you and fucked you
i just think i'm at a place that i can't make a decision from a logical headspace i'm still
emotionally reeling but i almost feel like it's better that you're so self-aware that you can't
a decision and I told you when we went to Dallas, you don't have to make a decision.
And I don't want, if you don't know what the decision is or you don't know, you know, where to go
from here, don't make a decision. Because if you do and then you regret it, you're going to be
fucked. Well, and I think people who have been through similar situations would understand this,
but when you are emotionally reeling like that, it affects your brain.
it has a physical toll on your body.
Oh, visceral reactions.
It is terrible.
And it, again, seeps out in every aspect because when you can't stop thinking about it and it's
consuming every aspect of your life, it's coming out in conversations with your friends
or it might be coming out in conversations with strangers, you know, unintentionally.
Why are we talking to strangers?
No, I mean, that's something I would do, to be honest.
So, you're like trauma dumping on someone I just met.
Trauma dumping on someone at the gym?
Yeah, probably.
I literally told somebody I shit my pants the first time I ever met them.
So it's like, that's very on brand for me.
But like a 52 year old, maybe don't do that especially.
And also it's like me trauma dumping.
I'm the one in the spotlight, right?
Like if I went and met somebody and was trauma dumping on them about our relationship, we're done.
I can't, I won't, you can't walk that back.
So for David, why are you talking to a stranger knowing that it could potentially hurt your
livelihood or your son's livelihood because that's how you provide for your son?
And that's what pisses me off because there's children involved that didn't fucking deserve this.
Well, and I think that's the biggest part of the public aspect of it as now you played in my face.
And this is now not only impacted my personal life, but it is now impacted something that I now have to do in business that I would not have done had it not been public.
Well, and it's it's another layer to the betrayal because it's one thing to go through this privately,
but you're adding another layer when you go through it publicly.
And then when your children are involved publicly, now they have to, I mean, it's probably all consuming, I would imagine.
And so then it's going to seep out in your parenting.
And then it's like, how much can you share with your kid?
Because they know what's going on, but you don't want to subject them to it.
You don't want them to know how deep it runs.
You don't want to have adult conversations in that way with those kids, but they know about it.
It's so convoluted and complicated that it's just like the selfishness of it just doesn't make any fucking sense.
And I just keep going back to her 52.
Like I'm not 52.
You're 52.
I just, I hate this for you.
And I just, unfortunately, I'm still dealing with the effects of what happened to me.
Not necessarily reeling anymore.
But, I mean, there are ebbs and flows of it.
because a year later, things are still coming up.
And I'm unfortunately warning you that that's probably going to happen to you too.
And I just don't want to get in a cycle of how long am I willing to traumatize myself over this
until, number one, I make a decision.
Number two, the situation of why we were breaking up and getting back together still exist, right?
and now this is on top of it and now I have to navigate my feelings, my child's feelings,
his feelings.
I can only hear so many.
I love you's and I am in love with you and I want to marry you and I want to have a kid
with you and I want to have a life with you.
I can only hear so much of that and be like, are you face fucking me or what is happening
because why did you do what you did then?
Because the actions don't match the words.
And that's like that's the other side of it too.
It's like our whole lives is like people telling us, well, listen to their actions, not their words.
And it's like, okay, you can tell me, I love you five times a day.
And you still pull this stunt.
And it's like, which one do I believe?
You know what I'm saying?
Like we're too old for this.
You would be better off by yourself, rebuilding this yourself with your son and being alone than to continue going through this for the next 10 or 15 years.
And that's kind of, I mean, every day, I think when you've gone through something like this, you wake up and you're like one minute, you're one way and then you go to sleep and you wake up and your feelings are somewhere else because you're in love with a person.
Yeah.
The hardest thing you will ever do is walk away from someone you are still in love with.
And I will say that.
I've said that for the past 10 years and I will say it again.
That is the hardest thing you will ever do.
And I just don't want to hurt anything.
more. Well, unfortunately, I have to be the barrier of bad news and tell you that you are probably
going to still be hurt for the next several months because even if the resentment and the anger
and the any of those feelings subside, you're still going to live with some amount of hurt
or it's going to creep in somewhere else. And I mean, I should have
been in trauma therapy way before I was. But I think there's always something that like
makes you take the leap to do it. And this was the situation that like sent me over the edge to be like,
okay, I see other things that are unheeled that are now coming out because of this. So for that,
thank you. Yeah. Thank you. Because I'm going to be able to heal parts of me that I haven't been
able to heal before unless this situation happened. I just want to see Lindsay in her soft girl era,
whether that's with somebody else or by herself. I'm so ready for her to be in her soft girl
era where she is able to put her guards down and genuinely be free. Because I think that you
have, like, I could cry thinking about your childhood that you don't talk about and some of the
traumas that you've been through. And you didn't deserve this. Well, and he knows that too. And that's what
is upsetting to me. Right.
That's upsetting to me.
So it's like as my friend, I don't, it's just another thing that.
And I don't know why I immediately think that it's like, I don't think it was David's
intention to use who you are against you.
But even like inadvertently doing it or doing it indirectly is like the pain is still
there.
It's still the same level of betrayal.
Correct.
I really hope that you guys take something from this conversation.
my intent was to be able to be vulnerable, be honest about a situation that is very uncomfortable
for me to be in a vulnerable state. And I just hope that if you are listening and you've been
