All right, I'm not doing a recording live thing because we're not doing a whole show today.
Just letting you know there won't be a full show this week.
Tom is still in the hospital.
I visited him on Thursday, but he wasn't up to recording anything.
And there's no real updates in that situation.
So he does want to thank everybody for sending in messages.
He was really appreciative of that.
And that really made him.
feel really good, that there was such an amazing outpouring of support.
Just want to let you know, there's no show this week.
But there has been some big developments that have happened.
And I did want to mention a couple things.
So before I go, hey, you know, an important thing happened recently.
So I'm going to play this in the background as I work my way through.
This week, we learned that Jim Baker died.
tragic. Not really. Not really that tragic. In fact, when I saw Tom, I had mentioned it to him and he had said, I think I can quote him. He said good. So Jim Baker, the fraudster who wound up stealing a bunch of money, going to jail. He is dead this week. So I'm playing this in honor of Jim Baker like I did when Rush Limbaugh died and when we
hoped Mitch McConnell died.
So there it is.
So I think this would be more apt
if there were buckets that these guys were carrying
instead of a coffin.
But anyway, Jim Baker's gone.
And I thought we had to commemorate it just for a minute.
Even if it's just for a second on the show,
it's an important commemoration.
I am also going to just keep mentioning this every week.
we are going to be doing a live stream
the night of the election.
Thinking it's going to start around
8 o'clock my time,
which is central time.
So it'll be 8 o'clock my time
and then 9 o'clock Eastern.
That's when all the polls start to close.
Probably go for a couple,
two three hours,
depends on how long we want to go.
I have no idea
if it's going to be me with other people
or how it's going to work right now.
We're not sure.
I'm hoping that, you know, at this point we've got, I guess it's maybe 20 days.
Gosh, I hope Tom is still not in the hospital by that point.
But, you know, I can't predict the future.
So anyway, that's going to be it.
We're not going to record anything this week.
Fingers crossed, maybe soon.
I want to thank everybody for supporting the show.
I apologize that we are not putting out content.
but we just don't. I mean, the show isn't the show if Tom isn't on the show. It's just not the show. I can put things out. I can create content. I can make stuff. I can talk about the news, but it really just doesn't feel the same if I'm talking with the news with someone else rather than with Tom. Tom and I have a unique relationship and it just doesn't feel the same. It may be that there's something big, big, big happens other than just like some asshole died that would be important for me to talk about. And I might.
you know, change my mind about that depending. But as it stands this week, really, we're just in,
you know, the same old mode we've been in for a long time. Get registered to vote. Go vote.
Encourage other people to vote. That's happening in like 20 days. So get out there.
Fill out your ballots early too. If you're doing vote by mail, fill that out fast and get it in there
as quick as you can. Track your ballot. I know they do that here in my state. I don't know if they do
that in other places. But you can track your ballot via electronically so you can know where your
ballot is at all times. So definitely get that stuff in early. You don't want to do it too late.
You don't want to wait. If you're going to wait until the day, obviously wait until the day.
But, you know, vote early. Get your ballot in if you're doing it by mail and encourage everyone
you can to vote in this election. You've got to slow this absolute destruction of our government
down as best you can. So hopefully we'll see a change when when election day rolls around.
And I've been hoping a lot this year. And I got to be honest, my hope hasn't really panned out,
but I didn't expect it to. I'll be honest. Not really, you know, attached to my hope.
But I definitely wish it would have panned out better than it has. All right. Okay. So I'm wishing
on hope now. How does that even work?
Okay. So, all right. So I'm going to end for now. Hopefully stay tuned. Maybe in a few weeks,
we'll see. Maybe we'll have a show. I'm going to put something out every week, though,
just to let you know sort of where we're at, whether or not there's anything on the horizon.
But as it stands right now, nothing on the horizon. And thanks for sending your messages in.
