Starting point is 00:00:06 Hey guys, so this is just a little idea I came up with. It's called a dynamic clock, well that's what I call anyway So you can see the time there in text writing. It's an app called minimalistic text And a dynamic wallpaper there and the thing about this is it actually changes depending on the time of day So right now it's 6.30 and you can see it kind of looks like dusk But as the sun sets it gets darker and darker and then the moon comes up just like the day I'll show you that in a sec, as you can see here. So this is sped up but you can see the moon rises and sets depending on the time of day. So that's pretty cool. It's actually widget locker 2.2.3 with the option for alternative background unchecked and a live

Starting point is 00:00:53 wallpaper called Blue Sky. Well I know what you're thinking. This is gonna pretty much chew up all your battery life. Well strangely enough it didn't. I did some testing so after about 14 hours of use just it only used up 2% of my battery so it's quite interesting and if you don't really care for dynamic wallpaper you can actually just use stock stand ones and this is multi-live wallpaper and double tap to change your wallpaper so as you can see you're just inside your normal desktop and whatever background you have you can lock the phone and then unlock it and there you go you actually have your background as

Starting point is 00:01:33 what you can choose on that screen so I've got different screen set up with different types of backgrounds and everything works in portrait and landscape as you can see just like that so yeah once again just to unlock it and you can see that you're just back on your normal home screen so that's pretty cool and if you can't choose between your wallpapers just screw it just have them all with an app called photo wall it's pretty cool but it's pretty messy as well this is messy pocket I'm pretty sure. Just a live wallpaper.

Starting point is 00:02:06 It's kind of fun. Things just fly around with gravity. But it's cool to have on your lock screen as well. This is kind of the same idea as the first one. It's another kind of dynamic clock, except it's on a beach. And it changes with the time of day again. And when you swipe around, you just kind of look around the beach. So this is night time, there's some fireworks that go off, and this is daytime.

Starting point is 00:02:31 This is another app called... called, I think it's called, season zen. And yeah, it looks pretty nice, but it doesn't really do much, just kind of is there to look pretty cool. This is just for fun really, it's got no practical use, but it's playing a game on your wallpaper. So it's called Crazy Fish in pretty short. So you kind of just go around and try and eat fish without getting caught by the bigger fish and get higher scores and I think it gets progressively harder. I think that's the home anyway but as you can see I'm moving through my home screens while playing a game which is crazy. If you guys remember Doom, the original Doom, this is kind of an interactive wallpaper where you can spawn weapons for this guy to kill the enemy monsters but it's kind of just fun to look at really and you can choose your hardness level and he's stuff This is another app called Stickman. It's kind of just a guy that kind of just walks around and does stupid stuff on the screen really.

Starting point is 00:04:40 It doesn't really do much. This is awful fun guys, don't take it too seriously. It's another app called EarthRotate. I think it's just, yeah, it's got heaps of options, it's pretty much unlimited what you can do with it. And it's cool to have on your lock screen as well because it's still interactive, you can still play with it. Speaking of which, this is an app called Cool. out called Koi, I'm pretty sure all of you have it or have heard of it or seen it. As you know you can feed the fish and do a ripple effects and whatever.

Starting point is 00:05:10 But it's cool just having your lock screen once again just to play around with. And probably wouldn't advise having all of these all the time because I'm pretty sure it would take up some battery. Like maybe this is more intensive than the first app. So just comparing this is like a normal lock screen versus that dynamic clock idea.
