But that changes now. We've kept that under wraps really our entire lives. So right now, this is the first time that we have talked about it.

In season six of Command Line Heroes, we're spotlighting inventors, engineers, and software wizards whose stories have been overshadowed. They had to believe in themselves when no one else would. Had to dream bigger than the world they were given. These are men and women who busted their way through locked doors and glass ceilings to pursue their careers. And every story we tell this season is also the story of the world-changing inventions these heroes helped create when they came into their own. What are the stories that we are missing? This season, as we dive into untold tales, we'll discover a hero whose calculations brought GPS to life. It fascinated me that they didn't think that

her story was amazing because her story is amazing. A hero whose computers would change the way we do business. It was a massively creative time, very similar to Florence during the Renaissance. And a hero who literally changed the game. Before him, there wasn't a removable cartridge games console. After him, there was an industry. You're going to be inspired to learn that nothing, not discrimination, not generations of prejudice, kept these inventors from reshaping the tech world and pioneering new spaces where everyone can get to work.
