Starting point is 00:00:01 runk. Hey, guys, welcome to episode 532 of congratulations. And it's time to party. Or at least just listen to this podcast. I am, so I literally just landed from Buffalo, New York, which is basically Canada. But don't tell them that, because if you tell them that, you'll get booed. But there will be an, here's the thing. When you're on stage in Buffalo, don't say this is basically Canada because you will get booed.
Starting point is 00:01:00 However, it is okay ultimately because there are enough people from Canada that drove over to see your shows and they'll cheer for it. So kind of got out of that one. You know what I mean? Did it every show. They go boo and then they'd be clapping and they'd be like, hell yeah, yeah, yeah. And it would turn into that, you know, people from Toronto and stuff. And so, you know, it's just kind of, well, look, it's America, you know, it is actually very American. I mean, the way that they do with the football is insane.
Starting point is 00:01:40 It's just, they had a game on Sunday versus the Patriots, and I guess they're rivals, probably, you know, because they're so close to each other. And, oh my gosh, man, they lost, and it was like 9-11. and everyone was just walking around moping with their bills jerseys on and their hats and their pants, you know. I mean, honestly, if you're a fan of a team, that's fine. You know, it is. It really is. But don't have pants for the team, you know. Just put on a bill shirt and go cheer, right?
Starting point is 00:02:18 Pants is crazy. Especially if, and I saw this, there are shirts and pants together that don't go together, but are still both bills things. That is the wackiest combo. Like a whole track suit makes more sense than one Bill's shirt and then also another different Bill's pants. So I was in, and let me tell you something also so happy that I was there
Starting point is 00:02:46 for the not cold weather. Last time I was in Buffalo, it was in November. and it was just, I mean, frigid. And it's fine, it was frigid. But this one was not frigid. But it was still rainy and cold. And, you know, you go, why do people live here? But it was nice enough that it was okay.
Starting point is 00:03:10 But whatever. Good food in Buffalo, too. Really good food in Buffalo. So shout out to Buffalo. Thanks for the great show. They were great crowds. I had a really good time. And I found a great gym.
Starting point is 00:03:22 that these dudes, I walked in and they were fans, and then they came to the show, and they were great. Pro Muscle Lift Club or something. Go check it out in Buffalo, but it's a great gym. And I think it's fairly new, but they got a lot of great stuff in there. Like, both of those dudes were great. That owned it. And so now I'm in, now I'm in, now I'm in, now I'm in,
Starting point is 00:03:42 I'm in, I'm in L.A., and I am going to Europe in a few days. I'm going to Europe I'm going to Paris I'm going to eat some croissants and you know maybe look at the Eiffel Tower my goal is to be in France
Starting point is 00:04:02 and not and see if I can get away and not see in the Eiffel Tower that's my goal because I'm not doing what you want me to fucking do dude I'm not doing what everyone goes to France to do has anyone ever been to France for the first time
Starting point is 00:04:18 and not seen an Eiffel Tower? I'm going to do. I'm going to to do it. I'm going to do that. Because dude, your boy goes against the grain. Right? He doesn't do what's expected. He doesn't go to, you know, Paris and see the Eiffel Tower. He doesn't go to China, see the Great Wall. He doesn't do that. He doesn't go to China, really. He would go to China. I don't really have a market there, you know, not really a market too much of a market in Paris either. I'll tell you with the way the tickets are selling, but I will be embarrassed. October 11th, a show there. I'll be in Brussels. I'll be in
Starting point is 00:04:51 Oslo. I'll be in like, you know, Germany, a bunch of different places. Stockholm. I got that second show I added. That's now almost sold out. Stockholm, I got a big fan base in. I don't understand. I don't get it. Why Stockholm and not Palli? Ah, Palli. But it's okay. It's a city for lovers.
Starting point is 00:05:12 You know, and I'm not, maybe I'm not enough of a lover, I guess. I don't know. But I will be going to Europe. and I will be podcasting from the road. So this means I'm not bringing my producers. I am bringing me. I am bringing equipment.
Starting point is 00:05:31 And I am doing it, which means I'll be frustrated, which means it'll look different, but which means it will be better. Because I'll be, you know, something will have happened right then and maybe it'll be three in the morning and I can't sleep because I'm in fucking, in Storzelin, Vienna.
Starting point is 00:05:54 I'm in Vienna. So, but yeah, so anyway, I'll be there, and I'm going to be doing that, and that'll be fun. And they will be coming to you live from different cities of the podcast. I have to figure out getting a computer and bringing all that stuff,
Starting point is 00:06:11 because my wife takes my computer, and she's going to need that. So she always takes everything. If we have one of something, it's hers. It doesn't matter what it is. It could be condoms. She'll take them. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:28 And I got on the plane today. And well, right as I was getting on the plane, I saw one video. Let me just start it like this. The comedy world is in Chambles right now. Okay? It's always in Chamb-it's always kind of on the way to being in Chambles because of something. Here's why it's because comedians at base. are bitch-made, okay?
Starting point is 00:06:52 And Sebastian Menoscalco, who is a great dude, that everybody love, you know, love, people think he's hilarious. They, they, you know, if you know him personally,
Starting point is 00:07:03 he's a great guy. He's a friend of mine. He, uh, is a great, huge, one of the biggest comics, okay? You don't know who he is.
Starting point is 00:07:13 You live under a rock. You know who he is. Aren't you embarrassed? That guy. Okay. always wearing some cool kind of leather jacket. Maybe it's green. The guy knows what's up with fashion, all right?
Starting point is 00:07:25 Especially on the Italian front. Definitely with his hair. You know what I mean? So, great dude. He has taken over, I guess, a channel on Sirius XM, which used to be Raw Dog Comedy Channel, or whatever the fuck it was called. And they used to play comics.
Starting point is 00:07:47 They used to play 800 comics, I guess. And these comics would make anywhere from, you know, a few hundred dollars a year to, I think guys like probably that were bigger made, you know, thousands of dollars a year, a thousand dollars a month even, you know. And so that was struggling, raw dog comedy, because I think it was just struggling because of, of course it was struggling. because it's XM radio. You know? Because it's XM radio and everyone has fucking Spotify. Because why the fuck are you going to listen to XM radio anymore?
Starting point is 00:08:33 Okay? You know, and that's not to say people don't listen to it. It's just less and less are because of Spotify, because of Apple music, because of YouTube, because of YouTube music, because of Amazon music, because of SoundCloud even still,
Starting point is 00:08:57 if you want to listen to a rapper that's going to die in six years, you listen to SoundCloud. Okay? And so, so, Sirius XM goes, hey, you know what? Ha ha!
Starting point is 00:09:10 This channel sucks now. and let's make a business decision. Let's hire a really successful comedian to take over the channel. And they chose Sebastian Manascalco. And it's called the Sebastian Manascalco comedy channel or some shit. I don't fucking care.
Starting point is 00:09:32 But that's what it is. Okay. And now Sebastian Manascalco, I guess, is quote unquote, in charge of it even though Hax-Am is still. in charge of it. Serious is still in charge of it because they made a business decision to hire Sebastian Manuscalco. And now, apparently since April, when he took it over, Sebastian Manuscalco, the channel
Starting point is 00:09:56 has played less of those comedians. Way less. Like, it's from like 800 to 300 now. And the people who they are playing, I guess, I don't know, this is what I'm hearing, is Bob Hope, Jerry Seinfeld, rich or prior people who are either loaded already or dead okay so these i i don't know what you'd call them you know some of the comedians are bigger that are speaking out some of the comedians are mid-tier a lot of them don't you know they they they rely on a lot of uh on serious xm on this paycheck for a lot of their money totally understandable that they would be upset that this happened that they got x out of now being played on Raw Dog Comedy Channel, okay?
Starting point is 00:10:45 That makes sense. So they're frustrated, okay? So what they do is instead of, look, a lot of these dudes know Sebastian that are like, hey, what the heck? They're not playing my stuff anymore. What they do is set up a social media coordinated attack. where they all go online the same time during the day and post a video, hey, Sebastian, you really fucked us.
Starting point is 00:11:22 You're doing us wrong. I know you'll do the right thing. Make it right. And a lot of us, a lot of us, I love how they call on themselves, the working comics, you know, they're not getting their money anymore because of this. Like it's, like it's Sebastian Manascalcos. job to fucking pay their rent, dude. Like, it's serious his job.
Starting point is 00:11:51 To make Sebastian the guy that you go after is fucking insane. This was a business. What about Kevin Hart when he did it? It's like fucking Kevin Hart Nation over there. Nobody gives a fuck about that. When somebody gets successful, they try to fucking tear you the cock suck down. It is so un-and-the-d-d-d-and-the-d-d-d-d-d-d-d. And these guys are out there, dude,
Starting point is 00:12:17 some of you know him and have his number. Some of you know him and have his number, dude. Amma. Do you know how bitch-made it is to go on social media? Because even if, this is the worst part, too. So many of them are saying, look, Sebastian, we love you. We love you. You're the greatest.
Starting point is 00:12:40 We just hope you do the right thing. That is the worst. One. That's the worst one. You are pussy footing around it then. Are you upset or not? That's like we have a problem with your wife. You walk in, you go, oh gosh, I love you so much. You gotta lose weight. It's worse. Dude, it's worse. I love you so much. Oh, boy, are you not pulling your weight. it's it's worse dude we love you i love you sebastian but dude you know what uh you got to do this right thing and we know you will in the meantime like there's not trolls out there go i want to say sebastian's thing i look at all these people you fucking suck dude you're trying to take money from
Starting point is 00:13:38 the working comics dude nobody's working more than fucking sebastian this dude he probably didn't even know he just got his own comedy channel he probably doesn't even know the ins and outs of it I guarantee you this coordinated attack that you bitch made fucking comics did on him
Starting point is 00:14:00 I probably this is the first time he's fucking he's like what the fuck is this right now he's all going what's going on what are they saying why did they just fucking say something and look I'm gonna this is ironic that I'm saying this some of the dudes that did the attack
Starting point is 00:14:14 I know them to be good dudes. I like a lot of them. You know, I like Dan Soder. I like Nick Swarton's my friend. There were other guys, too. But it's like, man, just the fucking gall, dude. Some of the door guys in like fucking comedy clubs
Starting point is 00:14:40 are like, I had a clip player there once. they gave me $6. Dude, it's a business decision. Nobody was listening at the Raw Dog comedy anymore. You think that if Raw Dog was killing it, they would have changed it? Oh, yeah, that's right.
Starting point is 00:15:03 I forgot. When things are at the top of the game, I forgot about that, dude. That's why there's going to be no more Green Lantern on HBO. because there's 19 million people watching an episode. That's why. That's why. When you get, when you get, dude, if there's a TV show, okay, that isn't doing well,
Starting point is 00:15:27 it gets canned, okay? Now say that TV show has, is about ghosts and skittles, all right? And they go, well, people really don't like the fucking show about ghosts and skittles anymore. We tried it for 19 fucking cock-sucking years, too. Because how long was Raw Dog on? 35 years. With the first channel on XM playing fucking, you know? And then after the Ghost and Skittles show gets canceled,
Starting point is 00:16:07 they go, we're making a show with monster trucks. And then the show with monster trucks comes out. And the network that has the show, show Monster Trucks is on. They're happy with it. It's been a few months. And then all of a sudden, you know, writers and the actors that were
Starting point is 00:16:30 in the fucking sometimes series day players or like, you know, guest stars on this stupid fucking ghost and skittles show are like, what the fuck, dude? I mean, I know it's about monster trucks now,
Starting point is 00:16:46 but put some ghosts and skittles in the monster trucks. It's a different show. The business changed. Be undeniable. Make your own channel. I'm happy Sebastian's doing what he's got to do for his fucking family. Yeah, he makes more money than fucking Jesus Christ. He didn't make much. But you know what I mean? It's like if comedians are going to treat you like that, fuck that. If comedians are going to treat you like that. Comedians are going to, Oh, instead of reaching out privately, like, yo, it's actually, it was cool because, you know, some comics made a lot of money doing the thing. And I don't know if you know the ins and outs of it, but you're playing Jerry Seinfeld so he can, you know, fund his whatever the fuck.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Gold cock. You know what I mean? Yeah, that's a thing, though, you know, it's like, Burke Kreischer doesn't need another, he doesn't need another golden, you know, his anus is gold now because of all of his money. So it's like fucking, okay, you say that. that to him. And then if Sebastian goes like this, fuck you. You go, that's the business we're in. That's the brakes. But I guarantee you, dude, if I did that, if I did that and Sebastian, if I did that and then people put a coordinated attack like that, I go like this. Oh, dude, guess what? Nobody's on the channel now but me. Nobody's on it but me, dude. Tired as fuck too, 24 hours a day.
Starting point is 00:18:19 just not with my kids. And I went just, um, coffee being in tea leaf. Just fucking making sure that no ghosts and skittles ever show up on my channel again. Because, dude, this is the kind of shit you're going to pull on him. When, when, when you're like,
Starting point is 00:18:40 oh, he's not doing right by comics. Why the fuck we need to do right by you? If this is the way you're going to act, you bitch-made fuckers? This is terrible, dude. It's terrible. And I know I'm going to get a lot of shit for saying this. But I don't give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Fuck that. That's such bitch shit to go on social media and do that to somebody who's just a good guy that probably didn't even fucking think about it. Y'all are bitches, dude. Oh. Namma, nama, seven, nimi, say, oh. You know how they do it with all the fucking, what's that song? Little Dirk or something?
Starting point is 00:19:20 Who knows? Little fucking something. they put the two actors AI is getting out of control dude AI's getting out of control they just you don't know if it's AI or not anymore I love how
Starting point is 00:19:35 there's so many female comics there's so many female comics that are like okay AI took my joke again and they have like fucking it's actually sad kind of but it's God it's got to be so frustrating for women fuck
Starting point is 00:19:55 because they'll just making a fucking big titty. Just low-cut gene, apple bottom, fucking dull-eyed. Just compact five, six, falling all out. You're going to do it all that, honey?
Starting point is 00:20:17 Type of woman. What are we doing? Oh, you don't need all that? Just a honey, you know? On stage, doing their shit. in a fucking Mr. President voice. And it fucking finally works.
Starting point is 00:20:38 Dude, but no, honestly, that's got to be so fucking frustrating. Jesus Christ. It really does for the female comics, trying to get a fucking break. But, you know, it's always something. It's always something in this fucking business, dude. There's hurdles. And the hurdles keep coming. And the hurdles are coming more and more.
Starting point is 00:20:57 exponentially and faster because of all the technology. And we don't know how to deal with these hurdles that come in real time. Once we figure out how to deal with one hurdle, we get to another hurdle. It's like, you know what? It's like fucking the pills, the dick pills and gas station stores. Or it's like, oh, shit. Oh, they just outlawed that synthetic. And they go, oh, let's change it one little fucking Adam and then just sell that.
Starting point is 00:21:21 That's cool. Then they put the dick pills in it again and they go, this one's legal. It's like, how do you? fucking stop that. Yeah. And then I saw them happening. I saw it happen to a dude. There was like a fat dude comic where they took a, I don't know who it was, but they took a,
Starting point is 00:21:39 they put a female doing his jokes and she was like falling all out. What you're doing there? Sweet. You don't need all that. And she had the same colored outfits on that he did. Only it was all sexified. That's got to be so fucking. I mean, as a guy, it's kind of less annoying.
Starting point is 00:21:59 But as a woman, it's, you don't want to see someone. otter than you doing your jokes. You know? It's one thing if you do, if you, it's one thing if you see, you know, but then you got a fucking Victoria's Secret model just up there just like, so anyway, my pussy squeaks when I get fucked.
Starting point is 00:22:19 I guarantee, I mean, I guarantee that's a bit somewhere in an open mic world there. They call it the squeaker. God. You know, fucking, I'm not saying, there are female comedians that are really good, and go. That first hurdle, though,
Starting point is 00:22:37 is, it'd be so easy to be a female comedian. The first, let me get on stage hurdle. Every dude would put you on stage. And I understand they've got ulterior motives, but that's life. That's how it is. You get your stage time.
Starting point is 00:22:50 Women, female comedians, they talk about how they don't get opportunities. Okay, I guess. I mean, I'm not a female, but it's like, doesn't seem like it. They're on every other fucking, there's just full female shows.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Go see, they go, people go to that, right? I don't understand that at all. They should be fucking, you know, oh yeah, well, maybe we're, then I heard someone say, well, maybe we're not that good because we don't get the opportunity to be on stage. Are you fucking kidding me? That's crazy, dude. Well, it's hot take Chris today. With the amount of stage time up and coming female comedians get, they should all be Richard
Starting point is 00:23:31 Pryor. How anyway? It's, you know, it's like, what can you do, dude? Everyone's just mad. People are mad. It doesn't matter. And, you know, it's also five, it's not even five percent of people, you know. I've been through shit storms online.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Shit storms. Nobody's ever said anything to me in real life. Zero. Except for, oh, fuck, dude. I love it. I love it, man. Oh, hell of you. I'm big fan.
Starting point is 00:24:07 So the internet is dead. And now the internet is definitely dead. with the, what do you call it? The AI influencers that they do, where they have the, they just got, you know, speaking of the female comedians doing the shit now, like with the AI stuff.
Starting point is 00:24:25 And now they got like that guy with the fucking mushroom blonde hair. You saw him, he's got like 300,000 followers now. And like people, I'm actually going to say it. I'm going to say it. Idiots.
Starting point is 00:24:37 Thought it was real. You did? You thought it was real? Yeah, no. That doesn't count. If you ask somebody, is this AI, that's different. If you say, who's this guy? What?
Starting point is 00:24:57 Oh my God. Look at this guy. And then show someone and they go, that's AI. You're a fucking idiot. Guys don't look like that. They don't have sloppy fucking faces and a haircut that a fucking afghan would have. Even in Britain, you know? and can box and are wearing a tan suit.
Starting point is 00:25:18 Like, just you're fucking, if you think it's AI, it's AI. It's like when we, it's like, it's like Kevin Spacey. You go, oh, yeah. And you know what? I did know he was gay the whole time. Nobody ever was like, when he came out as gay, you weren't like, what? And anyone that did is a fucking moron. That's going to be what's his name, the Reacher guy in a few years.
Starting point is 00:25:42 You know, people are going to be like, what? He's gay? Yeah. Yeah, dude. You know, you can't look that good, sing that well. Have you ever seen his Instagram? He'll be all like, oh, oh, a fucking falsetto shit. Just married with children.
Starting point is 00:26:09 Get out of here. That's the gayest shit I've ever seen. Didn't he just divorce his wife? Probably for the gawk, you know? He did. He just divorced his wife, probably for the gawk. But anyway, to be on the receiving end of the gawk. But whatever.
Starting point is 00:26:24 By the way, I think he's great. I like his shit. I think he's a good actor. Reacher season one was not bad. I don't give a fuck, you know. He's so big, though, dude. He's so big. Every time I think of big actors,
Starting point is 00:26:39 I always think of what my brother said. When someone is so big in movies, there should be lines about how they're so big. And that is so fucking funny to me, dude. He said about Jason Momoa. He's like, how come Jason Momoa was in movies? and nobody ever comments on how big he is. I saw Jason Mamoa in a coffee shop once.
Starting point is 00:27:00 I was with Brian Cameron, Karen, what's his name? Cabin? Brian Callan. And he walked up to, I was like, that's the guy. It was way before he said, that's the guy who plays the new Conan. And he said, oh, really? You know, because Brian does no fucking anything. And I was like, yeah, that's him.
Starting point is 00:27:17 He's like, really? I said, yeah. He's like, oh, wow. He walked up to him. And he was like, hey, man. Are you playing Conan, right? And when Brian worked him, he looked like his leg. He's just so big, Jason Mamosa.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Brian, Karen, Jason Mamosa. This lady, I heard about this, survived lethal injection. Here's what I think happens if you survived lethal injection. You get out. You get out. You beat the level of prison. You'm saying? You get what they call in video games an extra life.
Starting point is 00:28:07 You go, they go, here we go, yep. Oh, you're going to die now. Bye. You go, I don't want to die. You know, you're a crazy person. You're like, whatever it is. And then they go, boop. They put the shit in you fall so you, boop.
Starting point is 00:28:18 And then you just go, what else you got? Then you get a one-up and you get an extra life and you beat the level of prison. Okay? Uh, Christina Pike, who, if I had to make up a name of somebody who would survive a lethal injection, it would be Christina Pike. Because you know it'd be a woman. It wouldn't be a man. No man would ever survive that. They die.
Starting point is 00:28:48 They die. A woman could do it because they go through like childbirth and like, you know what I mean? They have to cover themselves in the, like, Saudi Arabia or some shit. I don't know. But it's like they did with a lot of trauma. So they go, you think that little fucking shot's going to do something? All right, we'll try it. Christina Pike broke through it.
Starting point is 00:29:13 So here's the legal battle. What went wrong? What's going to happen? I guarantee in this society that she'll be able to sue someone and make some fucking money. I mean, just, you know, there'll be the same people on the Lindsay Clancy case. That'll be like, give her $25 million.
Starting point is 00:29:36 This is something that no. should have to go through. Even somebody that sought off nine heads. I mean, she obviously killed someone if they, look at this. She was given two injections of the drug, pentobarbital. Why do they fucking name medicines like this, dude?
Starting point is 00:29:53 Why can't they call it crud? You know what I'm saying? Why? I'm not even trying to be funny. Why is a medicine not named Blintz? Like, what the fuck, pentobarbital? But her legal team said they, failed to stop her heartbeat and as of Thursday night she was unconscious intubated
Starting point is 00:30:13 and on a ventilator so they didn't fucking they'd be put in a coma Jesus so she's alive while receiving the two doses she could be her crying whimpering and breathing loudly her larissa Jesus Christ and no point did any member of the execution team realized that the IV lines were not correctly placed oh god or the veins had blown and that the blint was in whole or in part entering Miss Pike's body. Jesus Christ. Oh, wow, her lawyers warned something like this might occur. Wow, they did file a lawsuit in January,
Starting point is 00:31:00 challenging the state's lethal injection protocol. I don't know, man. I saw this thing. Who is the Hankajams girl? Who's that girl again? Julie Fox? I saw her on that subway show that that guy does where he was like, what's your hot take you know that show i couldn't fuck it see if you can find this clip i couldn't
Starting point is 00:31:18 fucking believe what she said she was with another woman and he was like so what's your hot take you have it uh yeah put it put it put it up here i mean you know which one if if you see it i'm just gonna play it for you guys because i i i couldn't believe the whole thing and the reaction hanka chams here it is wow that's immediate find Here we go. This guy. Who looks like a cool dude? But what the fuck?
Starting point is 00:31:52 Take. Women don't belong in jail. Bro. Hold on. Let's just play this again. So what's your take? Women don't belong in jail. 100% agree.
Starting point is 00:32:03 Really? Yeah, let them out. Real. Bro. Okay. Life would be hell. For everyone. mostly women honestly
Starting point is 00:32:20 if you had women roaming the earth that knew they wouldn't it's not about letting the people in jail out a lot of them probably fine you know it's about
Starting point is 00:32:35 the women now eventually knowing the regular women who aren't breaking laws going I can do anything I fucking want and I won't be held accountable that that I mean, dude, everything is the man's fault anyway nowadays. And, you know, it's not.
Starting point is 00:32:57 It's not. But that's what people lead you to believe, you know? You know, Lindsay Clancy's, they've got a fucking huge faction of the country that's like, it's him that made her do it. Look this. This guy agrees with them? A whole thing, but, you know, we had a whole thing. I'm glad to, like, really argue. I'm really glad to.
Starting point is 00:33:19 I don't need to be convinced. I think this is, well, why are they in the jail in the first place? Well, you know, if they killed people, that's one, right? If they robbed the bank, I guess that'd be another one, you know, right? Um, uh, if they, sure, if they fucking, you know, uh, well, if they did a fucking, uh, tax fraud, you know, if they, uh, assaulted someone in a fucking Starbucks. This is the best A lot of the time it's survival crimes So who do we ask what the survival crimes are
Starting point is 00:34:03 The criminals? Imagine fucking Just Ted Bundy like I mean I had to do it That's my fucking lifeblood Jeffrey Dahmer Okay and if I don't eat I die
Starting point is 00:34:23 Yeah you just can't eat faces Like prostitution or... Prostitution, dude. Like this is, of course, all men's fault. Stealing or... Stealing. They're being put in situations where they're just really trying to survive.
Starting point is 00:34:40 They're being put into situations where they're really just trying to survive. The undertone of this is from men. But you... Look, there are a lot of things that are harder for women. A lot of things. Okay?
Starting point is 00:35:02 That doesn't mean you can't have some hand in controlling your destiny and doing good. So because a guy fucked me over, I'm going to slaughter his whole family. And that's his fault. Could you fucking imagine if that's the world we lived in? We need to think about everything holistically, right? I've never disagreed with something more than that. I have never disagreed. Let me actually just look up the word holistically.
Starting point is 00:35:35 I've never disagreed with, I've never said holistically, to be honest. Okay. An adverb that means considering or treating an entire system problem or person as is integrated, as an integrated whole rather than just a collection of separate parts. No. to put it quite simply, no. No. If you work at a fucking store and you have eight employees and one of them stealing from you,
Starting point is 00:36:05 you go, oh, that guy's fired. You don't say, well, why don't we keep this guy and try to work on the system I've created to let this one guy steal? I mean, your brain's broken, lady. It's all good. Your brain's broken. If that's what you think, your brain's broken. Okay. We should have stopped listening to Julia, what's her name?
Starting point is 00:36:33 Fox when she said uncut gems like Hancajams. Okay? No women should be in prison. More women should be in prison. Because there's people that get away with stuff. You know what I mean? This is an insane. It's a hot take.
Starting point is 00:36:51 I'll give them that. But the guy just cucking it up? I totally agree. Why are they even? in prison? Oh, murder. What about that fucking Charlie Sterron one that she played the fucking, the girl with the dragon teeth? She killed people.
Starting point is 00:37:07 This is crazy, dude. Oh, I actually didn't even get, I didn't even finish it. And we don't need to think about things just black and white. Oh, this person's bad. They deserve to go to jail. Why are they in jail in the first place? This is crazy, bro. This is crazy that three people together
Starting point is 00:37:27 agree on this. And, like, they obviously went in agreeing. I understand that. That's why they're friends, because they're both their brains are broken. Okay? And they obviously don't want to accept accountability. And then this dude just goes, totally agree. That's that.
Starting point is 00:37:51 And I'm telling you. Okay, so hold on. So here comes the truth because she says she's telling us. So this is how we know this is true. So, okay. If you talk to these women, you will really start to notice. that there's a trend there? Now, let me guess what the trend is.
Starting point is 00:38:09 If you talk to these women, which, by the way, so she's talked to these women then, right? Who is she talking about? The women in jail? She went to a prison. Maybe she did. I don't know who this woman is. She went to a prison.
Starting point is 00:38:28 She interviewed a controlled amount of women and found it. found a trend? Who is this? Do you know who this is? Can you find out who that is? Yeah, the other girl, I know who Julia Honka Chams is.
Starting point is 00:38:48 But, so she found a trend, this woman, who is obviously a person that his job is to find trends in some way. She does some sort of correctional facility or rehabilitation thing, right? Because she's talked to many women and she's realized that there's a trend. You can't find out who it is?
Starting point is 00:39:14 He's working on it while he's working on it. And it's usually the common thread is, um, man. Mm. Your brain's broken. And look, that does happen. There are situations where, stupid I even have to say this. I don't, I guess, but there are situations where men, you know, are living with a woman and make it hard for them to leave and fucking, you know,
Starting point is 00:39:38 abuse them and the woman has to go, all right, I'm going to fucking kill this motherfucker. Okay, that's not what I'm talking about. I knew a woman that robbed a bank. I know one. She did it with a man. So he coerced her into robbing the bank. Also, robbing a bank is a survival crime.
Starting point is 00:40:08 I need money to live. But because you got a dick, you go to your. jail for it because you got twat you don't you find out who it was who norah fried what she'd do yeah a book club oh cool oh she has a book club with julia with july what pha fox so this lady with a book club with the lady to stick next to her uh norah freed and you know she's probably a sweet lady but uh she has a book club wait a minute she actually did do what she actually did do a lot of research on this. Hold on, look. Books behind bars inside a woman's book club
Starting point is 00:40:55 on Rackers Island. Okay. I stand corrected. She did do the work. She did do the work. Okay. Props. Still wrong. Yeah, that is cool that she did it, though, to be honest.
Starting point is 00:41:12 Usually people are just talking bullshit. So, I got to hand it to you. Okay. You did talk to the women. Congrats. still think that's just trying to get out of accountability. But okay. A lot of time it's like gang related.
Starting point is 00:41:33 She was left holding the weapon. This is a crazy. Like this is a crazy example. Yeah. Okay. Okay. So a man and a whole gang of men kill someone. And then they go, here, hold this to the lady.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Yeah, okay. In that situation, only arrests the men. I totally agree. Because that's not illegal. If you're just left holding a weapon, that's not illegal. I mean, unless it's a fucking outlawed samurai sword and you're just in a fucking whole foods, where's you guys pasta salad?
Starting point is 00:42:27 She was the lookout. She was the lookout. Dude, I mean, what movie does this lady live in? She was the lookout. She's just describing characters she was lucky to play. It was a scapegoat or she took the charges. She was framed. The guy says, if someone's framed, they don't belong in prison.
Starting point is 00:42:47 If someone's framed, they don't belong there. If they're male or female. This argument is crazy. Or, you know, it's a domestic where she was defending herself. That is the fence. They're describing things that are not illegal. She's in jail because she slipped on a banana peel and the man, you know,
Starting point is 00:43:14 robbed a bank while she did it. I can't think of another example about robbing a bank. I don't think women should go to jail at all. If they kill their partner who's beating them, they shouldn't go to jail. I don't know about that. no i don't know i guess the severity yeah no i i don't know maybe maybe that is i mean i don't know it's like don't fucking hit anybody period i think that if you hit someone you got to do time i really i mean
Starting point is 00:43:50 like it's so in the men who hit women are or are pieces of garbage shit and they deserve to be in jail now that doesn't always happen i understand because of the justice system in because women are too scared to talk out speak out because they're scared of their lives and i do understand that they get this is the number one time that they get really killed or really abused or killed is when they try to leave so i got to sneak out the middle of night that all sucks and you still got to fucking try that though you know see women who have killed their partner who have a record of battery and this they're still they're walking the streets and the woman's in jail Well, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:44:32 That's crazy. That is absolutely crazy. But that's far from women don't belong in jail. And their kids are being put up for foster care. Like, what? Also, when women go to jail, the whole family suffers. It really creates a huge... When women go to jail, the whole family suffers.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Yeah. Doesn't that suck? You know? That does suck, yeah. Shouldn't have done it, though, right? Don't break the law. huge wedge. So the ladies in jail at the moment, we're going to free them.
Starting point is 00:45:09 Yeah, we're going to free them all. We're already working on it through the Rosebud's Reading Collective. It's called what, Rosebud? Rosebud's Reading Collective. Basically what we do is we bring writers' workshops and book clubs to Rikers' jail right now. The more this woman talks, the more I like her. Julia Fox is just, I don't... All across New York City, and we provide an escape for these women, and we hear their stories.
Starting point is 00:45:32 Like, we're not making the shit up. Like, we're there. person with these women and they're just like us okay well then go to jail are you are you just like the women who break the law go jail like they're literally just like us they're not oh yeah good jill like these hardened criminals to be scared of there's a whole lot going against women going to jail also the saddest thing is we were there on um mother's day and it was like pretty much empty and then on the men's side it was so jam-packed with like women bringing their children to go visit on whether they're
Starting point is 00:46:08 and men will not show up for their girls they will some maybe yeah I just dude I don't this is crazy bro they're just going about this is wrong I understand maybe that's just the thing this is the click that they needed
Starting point is 00:46:25 about women shouldn't go to jail but that's wild dude I was going to say something else about this and I don't fucking remember dude uh well it was going to be good and it was probably going to honestly change the game of podcasting but it's probably going to change the game um but yeah that's wild um digger bombed bro is bombing is currently bombing and that is just wild the movie star ain't shit anymore you know they really ain't and honestly
Starting point is 00:47:08 Inaz, Naritu, Inbatu, Mbapé, whatever the fucking guy's name is, he's a great filmmaker, he's got a good track record. They spent $180 million on this movie, okay? And they also spent $100, $100 million at least,
Starting point is 00:47:24 marketing? I mean, I saw that everywhere. They go, Tom Cruise is Digger. Okay. Fine. I knew the movie wasn't going to make that much money. Okay? And if you did it,
Starting point is 00:47:38 didn't know that, then you basically were in Nuremberg in 1561, looking up at a sun dog saying saw those shapes fighting each other for. Okay? Because that's a stupid thing. All right. And I'm not saying Tom, Tom Cruise is great. Inow, Anari, Arana Nita Mbapi is great. You know?
Starting point is 00:48:01 And that's cool. But you don't make, you pretty much don't make. you pretty much don't make a $200 million movie anymore unless there's seven tapes in it. Or a wizard. You don't make a fucking movie about an oil tycoon. That's by the way, the movie's probably like two and a half hours, right? You just don't do that, dude.
Starting point is 00:48:27 Yeah, it might get nominated for a bunch of stuff. It just doesn't matter. You don't do that. This should have been a movie on Netflix. Streaming's killing it, dude. Stream is killing it because they don't have to fucking... You know, and their God, some of their stuff is so bad. I mean, some of the streaming, stuff on streaming is so, so fucking bad.
Starting point is 00:48:50 I can't even believe it, dude. Like, just, they don't try. They just keep it... I mean, I saw this one clip of this movie. I follow this guy online. He breaks down how bad movies are, streaming movies. And it's so funny. I don't know what the guy's name is.
Starting point is 00:49:14 I should shout him out. But he's really funny. I send him to you guys sometimes in Lifeline. He's just like, so the people at Netflix don't think you have brains. And he'll be like, look at the mistakes they make. And then he'll, he'll, he'll point out things in a movie that I saw. I saw a movie. And I was like, the movie wasn't so bad.
Starting point is 00:49:35 And then I'll see what he said. And I'm like, oh, yeah, they really fucked that up. Like that movie Whisper Man, right? Wasn't that with Adam Scott and Robert De Niro? it's going to whisper. And I saw that and I go,
Starting point is 00:49:51 that was decent. Adam Scott was good. De Niro's always good, you know, pretty much. Especially, my hands are tied now. Copland. But the fucking,
Starting point is 00:50:04 that guy who posts on Instagram about how bad movies are, he's like, this movie sucks. And I was like, really? He thought it sucked on? He's breaking down all this stuff. Like,
Starting point is 00:50:13 in the first scene the kid's scared of stairs and he has a stare phobia because how his mom died on stairs or something and the next scene his dad drops him off at school and he goes by dad and he runs upstairs into the school like where's the fucking guy that go this actually where's the fucking script supervisor they cut day players because they don't want to pay him anymore so now movies don't even look lived in the movies are always about like five people walking around you know they make that movie the movie where somebody stuck in an apartment or whatever
Starting point is 00:50:52 you know and it's got like or some cheap horror movie that's in one house because they don't have to fucking hire extra people they go cool we got the two cast members and put a sheet over the other guy he's the ghost but whatever get every woman out of jail
Starting point is 00:51:16 is basically what I'm saying. God, it's so crazy. What these, what these bitches want from up, what these want from a radio version. Somebody let me know. Let you know what, dude. This is the radio. What these want from a,
