I was trying to figure out what to say, I was going to say greetings, and I was like, I've done that bit already, and I was just going to say hello, and I was like was like i can't just say hello so you just run out of things or you just you're like you know what i got nothing today pretty much yeah i got nothing cool well you know it happens to all of
Starting point is 00:01:14 us it does well i mean it could but at the same time does it are you i don't i don't know i feel like you were having one of those like you know you know, we all have our off day moments. But then you were like, no, not me. Well, I don't even feel like it's an off day. I think it's because we got Cheesecake Factory today. So I'm in like a post Cheesecake Factory state. What'd you get at Cheesecake Factory? Hold on.
Starting point is 00:01:41 Tell me about this experience. I'm not a big Cheesecake Factory eater. All right. Well, they have about a billion items. I'm not a big Cheesecake Factory eater. All right. Well, they have about a billion items on the menu, but I only ever get one. Which is? And it's the Chipotle chicken pasta. And I like it because I can eat half of it and then save the other half for later, and I don't have to eat a whole thing.
Starting point is 00:02:00 And it reheats very well. What does it taste like? It's got, like, a spicy sauce. I'm about to Google this. What does the chipotle chicken, what does it taste like? It's got like a spicy sauce. I'm about to Google this. What is the chipotle chicken pasta? I feel like we've talked about this like five years ago. Probably sooner than that, but I've never actually looked it up. It's chipotle chicken pasta.
Starting point is 00:02:18 There it is. Just look it up. It pretty much looks like that. It's got like peas. It's got the long pasta noodleshuh it's got like peas it's got the long uh pasta noodles it's got like asparagus it's got a little peppers it's got some garlic this is not at all what i thought it would look like i never once was like oh yes it has red and yellow peppers peas asparagus never once did i think this is what it would be.
Starting point is 00:02:48 I mean, listen. All right. It's pretty good. And I've gotten it. I've gotten it every time. It doesn't look like anything I'd ever order, ever. Why not? I'm just, I just don't understand asparagus and pasta.
Starting point is 00:03:08 I just don't get it. Why? Because it's not a flavor combination I want. Chipotle asparagus is not something I've ever said like, that sounds good. Yeah, but then you try it and you're like, hey, that's pretty good. I guess. I mean, you seem to enjoy it. It's a pretty solid Combination plus
Starting point is 00:03:26 Okay They give you the bread Alright so you get the little bread with it And then when you get it to go They put in like a little bread bag So it's like here's your bread bag and you're like oh boy Um Oh boy
Starting point is 00:03:43 Oh boy Oh boy bread. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Right back, Pluto. Oh, boy. And then we got our cheesecake, which we waited a few hours before even eating the cheesecake. So I was like, I can't process all this right at once. Like, physically, I can't without my gallbladder, or I'm going to get some pain. Even with a gallbladder, I probably couldn't process it.
Starting point is 00:04:08 I can't believe the number of items I'm looking at on this menu. They have so many items. It's insane. I can't figure out how any of this is fresh. It just blows my mind that 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15 things alone in the small plates and appetizer section. 15 appetizers. Then just their main menu broken down into categories.
Starting point is 00:04:39 They have desserts. I love how that's first. I guess if you're the Cheesecake Factory, that's first. Then small plates and appetizers, salads, super in air quotes foods, flatbread pizzas, glam burgers and sandwiches, pasta, steaks, chops, fish and seafood, specialties, skinnylicious, eggs and omelets, Brunch, Kids, New Items, Beverages. Yes. There's so much here. It even says, I just looked up a thing. Although Cheesecake Factory may get some flack for being a chain restaurant,
Starting point is 00:05:19 there's no denying that the food is made with the utmost care and quality. When I toured the kitchen for the first time, my location, I was blown away by the cleanliness organization efficiency. The walk-in fridges, the restaurant are massive compared to the freezers. Cause the restaurant simply doesn't serve a lot of frozen items outside of ice cream and cheesecake.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Nearly all the sauces dressings for every dish are made fresh and each item is prepared right when ordered. All right. I mean, I still don't know how it's possible. I don't know how it's possible i don't know it's possible to have all these things prepared to ordered but like okay all right i'll take that mysterious stranger's opinion well and i think uh actually i watched a video the kitchen's just massive so i
Starting point is 00:05:59 think they just have a lot of employees so when you have that many employees you have like so many different things and i guess i don't know i mean i don't think they try to get things out at the same time like when they bring you your table they all try to serve you at the same time yeah interesting i wonder what it's back there have you know being an aficionado having watched hell's kitchen i wonder what the process is because you know there's that like, all right, order up. And then they have to bring everything up at the same time to plate. So if it's a big kitchen, how do – like if we're at a table and you get your pasta and I get a flatbread pizza and like Toast gets a double burger with extra fries as she's known to do. How all that translates to coming up at the same time
Starting point is 00:06:47 i don't know i bet it's i bet it's you know i bet it if it's all fresh i bet it's a a routine they have to get down i don't know how i don't know how it's possible it also says here uh when they used to work there many of the servers have been working there for years nearly all the upper management was filled by people who moved up from host to server kitchen positions over time. And the company ranks number 25 in the top 100 best companies to work for in 2019. Interesting. Wow, yeah, look at this. This is the kitchen.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Let me look at it. So I think that's how they do it. There's just a lot of people working in the kitchen. Huh. Okay. I can't, you know, all right. Yeah. So how'd I get here?
Starting point is 00:07:37 Oh, yeah, I had Cheesecake Factory. You did have Cheesecake Factory, yeah. That was your big news for the week. That was my big news for the week that was my big news for the week and it has left me in a half comatose state uh but i'm feeling pretty good good good i'm glad you're feeling pretty good anything else happened with you or is that it oh you know what there was another thing uh we were walking the other night and we were walking just outside and we walked past uh one area and there's a skunk and he and the skunk did like a and he shuffled we just ran across street we didn't get sprayed or anything that skunk was crazy you just saw a skunk and
Starting point is 00:08:20 that was like the most interesting thing that happened to you is you saw a skunk but it gave me a flashback to that old cox and crendor animation where i ran into a skunk back then as well so it was like a nostalgic flashback to running into a skunk um yep i love how that's your nostalgia i ran into a skunk and it happened and then i remembered that other skunk i ran into it was great yeah i don't know what else happened uh i played wow farm some wow mounts preparing for the pre-patch i'm trying to get revered with the mecha gnomes or mechagon or whatever so i can make a mecha gnome you're doing too much too much totally unnecessary no totally completely unnecessary all this in your bid just to play with
Starting point is 00:09:04 those guys when the game comes out. Well, no. I can play with them anyway, but I want to play as a Mecham though. Ah, it's a terrible idea. Only Kraken's playing as a Mecham though. But he wants to play. He wants friends that aren't made of flesh. So I was like, ah, I'll pop in.
Starting point is 00:09:21 I'll be a Mecham though. So I'm excited. Giant waste of time. No, no, no. I mean, living in general can be a waste of time when you boil it down. What? What? No! The idea that you were grinding for a thing
Starting point is 00:09:36 that, like, you can just be a gnome and you'll be fine. It's more than that, man. It's not about just being a mechano. It's about living as a mechonom. I'm so turned off from WoW right now. I'm like over it. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:09:51 It's funny because like you're so far into Final Fantasy, but I'm like I'm pretty far into WoW right now. I've gone full back in. I'm just enjoying an MMO experience for the first time in years. It's very nice. And, you know, I don't feel like I need all the stuff WoW has. Just all the grinds and all the BS. It's nice not to have to worry about that. Well, you see the key here is you got to farm mounts.
Starting point is 00:10:19 That's what I like. I never care about mounts. Like, I just don't. Why not? Because mounts, like, the problem is I like being a troll, and I have the troll stuff I want, and then I see all the new, you know, the reason why I could care less about Shadowlands
Starting point is 00:10:36 is all the gear is emo as shit. It's like, I am the Dark Knight. And it's like, cool, but my troll's gonna look like an idiot in that. If I put that outfit on my gangly ass troll with his big ass tusks and ridiculous hairdo, that's gonna look stupid. So why would I want that? And then all
Starting point is 00:10:55 the mounts, most mounts are some form of horse. If you've ever seen a troll on a horse, it's ridiculous looking. It does not look right. It is, like, most of the things don't work with me so why the hell should i care i mean you know do you have the rat mount um i look like my feet go through the floor on the rat mount oh my god i'd be riding that mount every day then i think we i think we have different views on that. I think we do.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Here's the thing. Whenever... So, when I play WoW, I play at the start of the expansion and at the end of the expansion. Like, I literally just did Argus content. Because I realized you can get exalted with the Argus stuff and get mounts. So, I was like, well, I gotta do that. And it's double rep and double experience now. So So I was like, well, I gotta do that. And it's double rep and double experience now. So I was like, perfect timing. So I just played through the entire storyline of Argus
Starting point is 00:11:50 and I was like revered already. I was like, nice. And so then I just did all that and I kill everything in one shot. So I'm about to get my mounts. Then I go back to Outland, farm some Mag'har rep from BC. Then I get eight Talbux and then I get my armored red dragon
Starting point is 00:12:05 hawk for hitting 200 mounts i mean you're look you're you're doing it right i'm a fool i like will play a game and play along with it and think i'm doing things good and then like then i'll get burnt out to be like oh this sucks and then the secret is i play wow at the end and the beginning and in the middle that's's when I inject League of Legends. Well, I will never do that. I value my sanity. Everybody keeps being like, Crendor, play Among Us with Jesse,
Starting point is 00:12:34 but you need, like, eight other people. And so I've just played with, like, all the Kraken people because they always put together groups, so I'm like, all right, I'll play with them. Yeah, I don't... I was invited to play once and i was like i don't even own the game i mean so it's like a dollar or something yeah i i don't i've never thought about playing it i don't i haven't had like there's nothing in me that wants to see
Starting point is 00:12:57 how much of a liar my friends are there's nothing in me that wants to see how much my friends will betray me And ruin my trust I mean that was Secret Hiller Yeah I don't Yeah I guess people Keep forgetting that like I do
Starting point is 00:13:13 I don't have time Like I just don't have time to be a streamer Everyone's like Justly but you're streaming Final Fantasy Well yeah Because I'm doing it Because I'm going to go through the story And then like You're just doing it because you'm going to go through the story and then like
Starting point is 00:13:25 you're just doing it because you're like might as well because you're gonna do it anyway yeah i'm gonna do it anyway so and people are like we want to see you go through the story i was like okay i'm gonna do it anyway uh yeah but i don't you know when i'm not doing that i'm working on video stuff i'm working on a game i'm working on a game. I'm working on a show. Like I got so much stuff I'm doing that it's like, I don't have time to just be like, Oh, Hey, I got a text message from someone who says, do you want to play this game? Like I literally can't right now. I can't drop what I'm doing to go play. Cause I'm working. And people like, I don't think understand that they assume work is just streaming. And I'm like, look for many people, that's
Starting point is 00:14:03 what it is, but that's not what I'm doing. I'm like 75% streamer life now. I get it. It's easier. It's better to just have fun and make streaming content than it is to even try YouTube. YouTube's a mess. That's very true. I stream it.
Starting point is 00:14:22 I'll just stream my wow mounts. I put on some jazz music. Sounds great. Just go around. And then I essentially just stream my WoW mounts. I put on some jazz music. Sounds great. Just go around. And then I essentially just play the lottery. Like, oh man, are we going to get Ultraxian today? I know so many dungeon and raids, old raids
Starting point is 00:14:35 like voice lines because I've ran them so many times now. He's like, I am the beginning and the end. He's me Ultraxian. And I'm like, man, this guy's voice is ass. That guy who's like, powering down. That dude? No, that's the, you're in Pandaria where he's like, whoa, whoa, whoa. That guy is, I don't know what they were thinking with that voice.
Starting point is 00:14:57 That voice is so bad. It's like, powering you down. Oh, my God. And then there's the other one in the Pandaria with the troll. And he's like, take your trinkets. And I love how he says, take your trinkets every time. That's my favorite. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:15:17 Yeah, it is truly something. There's one Voice in Ice Crown I think it's like the first Lichu fight Where I feel like She's reading every line of dialogue Like it's a question Oh yeah For the master
Starting point is 00:15:37 Like I don't know Is it for the master It's so funny Like you just forget sometimes in the early days, they were like, yeah, like, get a friend to do this. Yeah, they really did. Oh, my God. There's the other one with the ZG with the raptor boss, which I have done.
Starting point is 00:15:57 Oh, my God. I've done that every day for, like, so long. And you kill him, and he's like, big peace worms. I be delivering you to Harkar myself. But every time I kill him and he's like big peace worms i'd be delivering you to huck are my son but every time i kill him he's like big he dies in like a second sometimes i let him get the full voice line off because i want to hear it sure i get that i understand that that's like the i remember you that's that guy yeah in the, yeah. I've done Ulduar a few times. By a few, I mean like 35.
Starting point is 00:16:27 I just did the stable garrison just so I could get the mounts from the stable. I did that too. But I'm also the person that did every single garrison thing. You're more of like you do all the things you want, like you have to do, like all the achievements and getting everything done because you've got to complete it. I'm not really a completionist.'m more of a like rng like i play for the i play for the high highs and the low lows where i'm like dude there's a one percent chance that i can get this thing let's go and then i try to get it that's how i play all games really except league i don't do low lows i'd rather i'd rather overpower and over
Starting point is 00:17:05 level and always win that's how i do things if i can break it and win great that's why uh league of legends was essentially gambling like you gamble who you're gonna get on your team and you just gotta play but i love man when you win in league of legends and when you get like a win streak going, you may as well just inject the League of Legends heroin. You're like, yes, I'll keep winning. And then when you start losing, you're like, well, I got to win one. And then you just go on a stupid losing streak of 10 games
Starting point is 00:17:40 because you're like, I got to win one. And then before you know it all your dopamine serotonin whatever it's all gone no chemicals that make you feel good or left but then that's when the next day you're like i need more and then you realize you're addicted but then you hit plat and you're like nice then you quit i i can't possibly relate to that no no no no no no that's great in fact sam's addicted right now. Right now, he's trying to get out of bronze. I think he did.
Starting point is 00:18:08 No, he got to bronze one. He went from bronze two to bronze one. And right now, he's been streaming four hours. And let's see. Where is he? He is in bronze one 66 LP. So he's actually like two to three wins away from getting into his silver promos. But here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Once he hits silver, he's going to be like, well, now I got to hit gold. Now once he hit gold, I got to hit plat. Me? I knew my ceiling was plat. And I'm like, when I hit plat, that's it. That's where I'm done. I've proven it to myself. And then I did.
Starting point is 00:18:43 So until the new season resets, I'm happy here. Also, Heimerdinger, best champion. I don't know what that means. I couldn't tell you what that meant. Raise your dongers. That's what it means. I don't know what that means. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Can I tell you? Nerdy ass podcast, yes. In order to just complete the nerdiness of the podcast. Right. So this week, earlier this week, I watched a video. What a nerd. Yeah. So on YouTube, I think I tweeted this out.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Like, I literally hate the algorithm on YouTube. If you watch one video, it pumps to you videos that are similar. Oh, yeah. And not just videos that are similar, but, like, videos they think you'll want to watch because you want to watch something. So I watched a video this week that was, I think it was, like, something about the Mandalorian and how maybe one of the characters, like, left set halfway through recording or something like that and I was like is this real and of course the video was nonsense right it was all like clickbait yeah anyway so I watched that video and my entire feed became videos very similar to it things like but the
Starting point is 00:20:01 problem is is that it's that it's that sort of gateway into really messed up stuff. So I watched a video about the Mandalorian. And what I got was my timeline filled with things like China bans Mulan Press. Mulan in trouble. John Boyega banned from doing interviews. Kathleen Kennedy ruins Indiana Jones. Disney Star Wars failure is complete. I'm like, what?
Starting point is 00:20:38 And it just got worse and worse and worse. And so then I realized I started seeing a lot from the same people over and over again. Like the same people over and over again, like the same people. And I tweeted a thing that was like, I watched one wow video and my timeline became filled with like Asmongold videos. And I was like, how the hell is this possible? Right. So I clicked this one guy's, I'm not going to mention his name cause I'm no way I'm going to give him, I'm going to give him stuff. But I clicked this guy's thing, and he is one of the people that keeps showing up in my timeline now who I had to mute because I was like, I do not want to watch these videos. I'm not – this is not what I want. And so I realized that they have like a pattern.
Starting point is 00:21:23 These clickbaity videos have like a flow to them that I never realized before. And let me just like walk you through this because it's incredible. All right. All right. So one week ago, this video, Disney's big trouble over China. Disney's Mulan catches heat from U.S. lawmakers, right? big trouble over China, Disney's Mulan catches heat from US lawmakers, right? Then, four days later, Mulan tanks with Chinese audiences. Then, a few days after that, Mulan, bought by 30% of Disney subscribers, I call bullshit, right? Well, then ignore that timeline. Go to the next day.
Starting point is 00:22:02 Well, then ignore that timeline. Go to the next day. The next day, Cyborg is really salty. Ray Fisher salty over Warner's blowing off Cyborg. And it's Cyborg wants a re-roll. And then wait a few days. And it's like DC moves to HBO Max. Then wait a few days.
Starting point is 00:22:23 And so like, and then the next day after that, it's about Star Trek. And it's the same thing as Star Trek. And the next day after that It's about Star Trek and it's the same thing as Star Trek And the next day after that It's the same thing but it's about Uh you know like Star Wars stuff And the next day after that it's the same thing But it's about Playstation And then you know stuff like
Starting point is 00:22:37 PS5 sells out but Last of Us Part 2 Is still trash like that kind of stuff And it's a cycle And then every so many days they upload another video That literally almost has the exact same thumbnail As the previous videos And most likely is roughly the same information But they're just like dumping
Starting point is 00:22:54 The same shit Over and over and over again It's ridiculous I never Expected it to be like this trashy, but that's what it is. I mean, there's a reason you go to the grocery store and there's always the magazines that have like the same like top five ways to lose weight. Like crazy stuff that you wouldn't see on television and like all that type of stuff. Like it's because people buy it.
Starting point is 00:23:22 I hate that. I hate that. of like it's because people buy it i can't i hate that i hate that and so that's why if i go to my home page it's all the same trash over and over and over and over again well one thing i realized is i never even really go to my home page i always just go straight to my subscription box but when i do go to my home page let's see, what do I have? Uh, I have Wow Mount Farm World Tour Kalimdor.
Starting point is 00:23:51 Uh, retail archaeology. A dead mall gets worse. Uh, Falcons vs. Cowboys. Week 2. NFL highlights. Cozy Fall Coffee Shop Ambience. Relaxing jazz music and rain. 12 hours of Studio Ghibli sleep music.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Honestly, mine's pretty good. Five minute easy fried rice. McDonald's Japan only menu. Because in the last week, I watched one murder case video, one episode of Angry Video Game Nerd, and I listened to some Final Fantasy music. My entire feed is Angry Video Game Nerd stuff, criminal case stuff, and Final Fantasy music. It's so funny. I'm just scrolling through and that's literally all it is which if you were viewing this without any
Starting point is 00:24:47 sort of information you'd be like is this person a psychopath is this a crazy person i wonder if like now i want to know everybody in the comments should link what's on your home page i'm hopefully just cox and crendor stuff if we're lucky. Very true. Hopefully it's just Dantan animations. That'd be fantastic. That would be great for me. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. It's just a crazy system.
Starting point is 00:25:19 But it definitely rewards more of the... Which is funny, because YouTube used to be more about that type of thing, with animations and short videos. And then people got away from that, because everyone's like youtube used to be more about uh like that type of thing with like animations and like short videos and then people got away from that because everyone's like oh youtube's trying to promote long content long content make let's plays do all this and now it's actually shifted back more to like the 8 to 15 minute video well because the reason why and i had this conversation with a person at youtube i think I might have said this to you Is literally they're like long form content No one wants to spend an hour Watching a video anymore
Starting point is 00:25:51 And so you're not going to get anyone new Clicking your channel Because they're looking for short stuff And so while long form content Will get you more money In the end It won't get you the same views. So unless you're like someone super famous that can make an hour long video and every one of your 50 million subs are just going to go to it, that's totally different than someone just trying to like get a break.
Starting point is 00:26:18 Yeah. No, that definitely makes sense. I mean, my most viewed video right now in the last, man, like a couple of months, ever since we did the reaction series, has been my battle for Azeroth in a minute. And part of that's because people rewatch it. Yeah. And they can share it. They have one minute. Yeah, you got one minute.
Starting point is 00:26:40 And I'm like, man, I need to start doing this again. This is what got me here yeah i was looking at uh the angry video game nerd stuff and even back in the day he was doing like 15 minute videos yeah that's what i mean that's the sweet spot the problem is like i just like making long form content so i don know. I'll have to be creative, which sounds terrible. You're the Principal Skinner meme where he's like, no, it is the children who are wrong. I know. It is the zoomers who are wrong.
Starting point is 00:27:16 It is the zoomers who are wrong. Granted, I will say when we made our reaction series, we had some high views and high viewer retention on some 50-minute reactions. Yes, but that also was one of those things like it had diminishing returns. Oh, yeah. If we would have kept that up forever as people wanted, we would have had like 300 people who were really into it,
Starting point is 00:27:43 and they would have tweeted this every day. But everyone else would have been like, I'm way over this. all right we get it all right the the bit is over the goof has been done well speaking of bits and goofs being done that is my segue let me tell you about me undies it's crazy how fast this year has come and gone. In the NBA, the Lakers are up 2-0 on the nuggets the heat are up i believe 2-0 are you up 2-0 on the celtics oh wait no they're up 2-1 the celtics won so 2-1 on the uh heater up on the celtics and then baseball, we're closing in on the playoffs. I think we only got one week or something left. Looks like Tampa Bay's in. The Yankees are in.
Starting point is 00:41:32 The White Sox are in. The Twins are in. And Oakland is in. And over in the East, you got Atlanta, the Cubs, the Dodgers. Are they doing best of seven still? That's a good question. I'm not sure. I think they said they're letting more teams into the playoffs that's what i'm saying so are they still doing best of seven uh mlb playoff

So it says eight from the American League, eight from the National League, and then there will be four rounds, but instead of a round featuring a sudden-death wildcard game with the division winners resting, the format will be as follows. Number one, verse eight. Number two, verse seven. Number three, verse six. Number four best of five. Yes, they're doing a best of five, but they're letting eight teams in,

Starting point is 00:43:42 The Colts beat the Vikings. The Packers destroyed the Lions. Watch that one. Very fun. The Cowboys came back, even though they were down by like 30 points, to beat the Falcons. Very embarrassing. The Bears beat the Giants somehow. Giants, very bad team.
Starting point is 00:43:59 The Cardinals beat the Washington football team. The Chargers lost to the Chiefs in overtime. Made it close, though. The Ravens beat the Washington football team. The Chargers lost to the Chiefs in overtime. Made it close, though. The Ravens beat the Texans. The Browns beat the Bengals in the Ohio Bowl. I can't believe that. I can't even believe that happened. Starting point is 00:44:16 And the game you've all been waiting for. I was about to say, and the game we've been waiting for. The Jaguars lost to the Titans. However. Hold on. Everyone else in the team lost. Yes. Minshew did not lose. Minshew
Starting point is 00:44:31 did not lose. Minshew went 30 to 45, 339 yards, three TDs, two interceptions, but the Titans are one of the best teams in the AFC and the Titans were up 28-10 at halftime and Minshew led the

Starting point is 00:45:46 But Minshew's like, nah, dude. He's going to carry. I believe. I think he's going to take them to the playoffs. This guy, he's the real deal. And right now, the final game happening today is the Seahawks and the Patriots and somehow some way the New England Patriots are still in this football game and they are still a team that doesn't even need Tom Brady they're oh wait they lost never mind good well they lost 35 to 30 but they're still competitive in the game they have cam newton
Starting point is 00:46:28 and he didn't do too bad but luckily for everybody i think the patriots they're good but they're not like as good as they used to be so it's all it's all balancing out again which is great that's sports all right what is our big new story of the day story of the day uh-huh there's two one is a short one okay i'll take two all right first one is asus republic of gamers and ikea are teaming up to create a line of gaming furniture coming early 2021 oh no okay yeah following hot on the heels of the herman miller logitech luxury gaming oh boy yeah, yeah. Comes the next collaboration between PC hardware and furniture. Do you have too much money and not enough sense?
Starting point is 00:47:31 This is the furniture for you! A line of affordable gaming furniture designed by IKEA's Product Development Center in Shanghai and the Asus Design Center in Taipei and Shanghai. There's no detail on what products are going to be part of the, quote, in Shanghai and the Asus Design Center in Taipei and Shanghai. There's no detail on what products are going to be part of the, quote, new home gaming ecosystem. Oh, my God. I don't know if that's very new for me.
Starting point is 00:47:57 That both companies aim to create. And while I'm no mind reader, a desk and chair seem like a safe bet. The furniture line is set to roll out in early February 2021. And then will likely become available in China in 2021. And then become available in other regions across the world. This guy says, I'm still using my Ikea Mickey table. A table that fits a laptop and not much else. Which usually leads me to avoiding my setup altogether but ikea and rog know that in order to achieve victories from bedroom to basement
Starting point is 00:48:31 as they call it jesus you presumably have to use an actual desk so perhaps this is what i need to get me started as an esports In an esports career. Oof. Yep. Can I just tell you. Right now I'm looking at the Herman Miller. Gaming desk. Right. The gaming desk is.
Starting point is 00:48:53 Big enough. For. One monitor. Maybe two if you're lucky. Hmm. And. They say that it moves up and down. Like you press a button it moves up and down. Like you press a button, it moves up and down.
Starting point is 00:49:06 Total cost for this all black, not really aesthetically pleasing desk, $1,200. Wow. This desk, like hold on. Let me show you this. This desk, there's no way this desk costs this much to put together. It literally is just a black slab with legs. Oh, yeah. $1,200.
Starting point is 00:49:31 Does it go up and down at least? Is it motorized? Yes, they're saying it moves up. There's a little button on the side that moves it up and down. But that's still not worth the cost. Look how tiny it is. I got the exact same desk at Ikea. And I think I paid.
Starting point is 00:49:50 I got it years ago. This desk was, I think, like $200 or $300. So literally $1,000 left. I'm looking at this desk. There's nothing about it that's worth $1,200. Like the desk. Besides the fact that there's a button on the side that you can move it up and down other than that there is no feature on this at all it's just a black top and two legs and that is it and if you look at it on the wall look how tiny that desk is the monitor takes up half the desk yeah
Starting point is 00:50:27 i can't like that's not a gaming that's not a gaming desk you can't claim this to be a gaming desk when literally it is not big it's not big enough for two monitors you can even if I go to Ikea.com, sit stand desk right now, you can find, yeah, you can get like a motorized one for like 300 bucks. Yeah, I'm looking, I see a bunch of them right now. Yeah, and it's like the exact same thing. I mean, maybe it's not as sleek and styling, but I don't think I'm going to pay an extra $900 to have a sleek style yeah there's no that sleek style is unnecessary
Starting point is 00:51:11 yeah no it's I'd rather just go to Ikea sorry Herman Miller ridiculous so that's that one then the main story of course Florida man will paint alligator that attacked him. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

In several decades as a professional artist painting Florida's marine life, Mark Johnson has developed a pretty good eye for detail. Now, the outdoorsman whose website offers realistic portrayals created primarily from memory and imagination is about to start work on a gritty new work. Alright, this is not
Starting point is 00:51:52 what I thought it was going to be. I thought you meant literally he was going to go find the alligator and paint the alligator. Uh... I thought you meant he was going to go out and like find the gator that attacked him and start painting the gator. Well, I mean, he might.

And as about to start work on a gritty new work, an alligator with rows of perfect white teeth clamped on the thigh of a man out walking his dog. It will be a self-portrait on a morning stroll with his golden retriever rex along with a along a canal near his home in port st lucie johnson was attacked by an eight foot six inch alligator that lunged from the water raced towards him and chomped down on his leg causing a deep wound that required 60 stitches johnson said he'd freed himself by jabbing his index finger into the eye of the
Starting point is 00:52:46 giant reptile which released its grip and sank back into the canal i've already got the canvas ordered to paint it johnson 61 said in an interview this image will be on my mind the rest of my life i can see it now i see my foot i see the gator i see the positionator. I see the position. He had green eyes. The teeth were pearly white. No stain or anything. He knew he had his prey. He wanted to roll so he could start dismembering. He started pulling. Is he on Animal Planet? What is happening right now?
Starting point is 00:53:17 This is like they're interviewing. He's like, I knew he had his prey. He wanted to roll so he could start dismembering. He started clamping down really good above my knee, and my shoe was sticking out of the base of his jaw. After Johnson freed himself, he said, he limped home with blood dripping from puncture wounds on his leg to be reunited with Rex,
Starting point is 00:53:36 who had followed an order to run off when the alligator attacked. Johnson's wife drove him to the hospital, where doctors stitched his thigh and a finger injured when he jabbed the creature's eye It's important for people to understand how dangerous alligators are If I'd been a small child or a pet, I wouldn't have had a chance Rangers from Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission trapped and removed the alligator According to state records, there have been 283 major alligator attacks on humans in Florida since the records began in 1948
