Don't hope it's going to get better.
Hope is not a strategy.
There's a lot of times in life we convince ourselves and say, I'm blessed.
I should be grateful for what I have.
The fact of the matter is you should be.
We're not dead.
We're here.
If you're listening, you're watching, you might not be going through the perfect time and you're
like, but you're here to fight another day.
Right?
So we should be grateful.
And yes, we are blessed, but you shouldn't be satisfied.
What we have to do is not only get disturbed within action, we have to overcome those beliefs,
but we must find a place to start.
and that the best way I know is who, not how.
Don't try to figure out the hell.
Figure out who's already done it and is willing to share how you can get there.
I'm on this journey with me.
Each week when you join me, you're going to chase down our goals.
We overcome adversity and set you up for a better tomorrow.
I'm ready for my quote-up.
Hi, and welcome back.
I'm so excited for you to meet Dean Graziosi.
He's a multiple-time New York Times bestselling author,
entrepreneur and investor. He is also a popular speaker that's an understatement speaking to audiences
in excess of 200,000 people at conferences. Guys, that's bigger than any stage I've ever taken.
The methods Dean Graziosi teaches have been tested and proven to work by countless students,
including this one right here, and companies worldwide. To date, he has played a role in the
growth and development of more than 14 major companies. He's also worked behind the scenes with
massive eight and nine figure companies helping them overhaul their processes,
reinvent their marketing and sales strategies, and drive exponential growth in net profit and
overall reach. I mean, I could go on and on about Dean and what he's done, but I'd like to
share that during a global pandemic, when I had him as a guest on a show, go back to 2020,
you can catch his episode. This man plugged me into his KBB program and literally changed my
mindset and my revenue streams. So I'm just so grateful to
Dean to have you back today. Thank you. Good to be here, Heather. And thanks for sharing that
story. It was good to catch up and see that you've made so much great progress. And you
would have done it anyway, but I'm glad I can help spark it. Dean, the funny thing is people show up
in your life, you know, at different times for different reasons. You never know. And it was just a
random day. For me, my speaking engagements had disappeared. I'm a single mother. To say I was
nervous in that window at a time is an understatement. And people always say, oh, you'll be successful
no matter what. But it doesn't matter if you're type A overachiever your whole life when a global
pandemic hits here creeps in. It's a real thing. And you had created the solution in this program,
KBB, which you plug me into immediately. And it opened up my eyes to something so different.
First of all, I had never heard of coaching programs. I mean, I've been in personal development.
I read all the books, you know, but I never had opened my mind to your teachings. And it's just,
I'm so grateful for the work you do and for the millions of people you help.
Oh, thank you.
And isn't it the best feeling in the world that you get to make a living and get to thrive,
right, by helping support others?
Like I always think about that all the time.
Tony Robbins is the one that got me into this space 25 years ago.
Now he's my dearest friend.
We talk every day.
We're partners and we do a lot of things together.
But I remember 25 years ago, I bought his course and I listened to it.
And I remember thinking two things.
One, this is really good stuff.
I feel like everything he's saying, I'm there on the inside.
Everything else was telling me I was wrong.
Tony was telling me I was right.
So that was the first thing.
And he gave me tools to realize that life happens for me, not to me, to focus on solutions, new stories, all that kind of stuff.
If you know Tony or any personal development, you know that stuff.
But the other thing it shared to me is like, wow, I gave Tony Robbins money and he changed my life.
And there wasn't a product.
There wasn't a service.
He just shared what he figured out.
And I think, I mean, that's exactly what you're doing.
If you're coaching and you're helping support people, it's like you're helping them go faster
and you're getting paid to do it.
I think at the end of our lives, and I've asked this question a million times, so it's kind of a setup.
But I've asked hundreds of thousands of people over the years.
At the end of your life, if you had the option to make massive amount of impact on people
or a massive amount of money, what would you choose?
Everybody chooses impact.
Like if there's 20,000 people in the room when I say impact, everyone raised their hands.
when I say money, no one does.
And then I always say the same thing.
How cool would it be if you didn't have to choose?
You could do both.
You could impact lives and create revenue,
and then the crowd goes crazy.
But it's the truth.
It's what you did.
I mean, I just happen to meet you at a time
where your revenue stream
and what you did for living,
like never before in history,
was just gone.
It's not like, hey, do some events.
It's like, overnight, the world is shut down.
It's like, wait a minute,
this is how I support being a single mom.
This is how I support.
And then it was just taking that same information
and transitioning into a place where you could impact others virtually with your life experience
and get paid to do it.
So that's why I love this business.
That's why Tony loves this business.
That's why we scream for mountaintops and help people get in this industry.
Because once they're in, you're hooked.
There's no other place to go.
You can't sell a widget anymore because it doesn't give you that feeling, right?
It's so true.
And to be able to touch people's lives, like you said, and make a profit.
I had Colin O'Brady on the show the other day, guys, if you haven't listened to the episode,
catch up with it.
He was sitting down with billionaires.
order to be in the room, every person had to be a billionaire present, except for Cald, he's not there
yet. But he's sitting down with all these billionaires. And the one thing that kept coming up when he
kept asking them, what's your Everest? What's your big goal in life? They didn't really have answers.
And someone pulled them aside at the end and said, son, we don't have answers because we didn't
chase our passion. We never chased our Everest. We always chased the paycheck. And they were not
fulfilled because of it. To your point, they were saying they're standing there, you know,
but this really on paper successful stage of their life saying,
we miss the Everest,
we miss that helping that doing something more than just chasing a paycheck.
Yeah.
Well, I'm so glad to hear it.
So now you're coaching and that business is going well for you.
And how do you love, I mean, I've got to ask you,
some of your people that you coach are probably listening right now.
How does it feel when you get to help shift someone's life?
It's incredible.
I mean, but the thing is, it was so foreign to me.
I know a lot of people listening right now have never hired a coach before, right?
have never really invested in themselves. I was there with everyone that was in that boat.
In corporate America, it wasn't really a thing. The companies would do trainings once a year or
whatever. I just never thought beyond that and I didn't realize it was an industry.
What's been so cool for me is to bring an offering to the table for people, if it sounds like
it's a good fit and if it makes sense for you and there's a client to you, invest in yourself,
take the leap. But then to see, like what you, the impact you had on me is to be able to have
small impacts on other people and how it changes their business or, you know, I have people who
got divorced after started working with me because they had been unhappy for years or people who
bought another company because they finally had the confidence to make a leap. These really incredible,
as well as small wins and victories that just bring you so much joy in your day to day.
Like, no, nothing else that I never felt in corporate America. I never got that. You know, my heart
is overflowing with joy. I just feel so grateful. Oh, I'm so glad. And I love how you teach on
confidence. I just wanted to tell you one of the things I've been saying for maybe two decades
kind of dates me a little bit is that the number one thing people have to do to have a successful
life or one of the top, I'd say top five things, is to protect your confidence, right? So I know
this is your world, creating confidence and confidence creator and all the things that you do.
And so many times people think they need the end. Like, I need the magical money machine. I mean,
I need the business that'll make me the money. I need the product. And at the end of the day,
because I've been in this for 25 years,
helping people achieve success,
I realize when you go upstream,
I love thinking about everybody's looking
at what's happening downstream,
but you really need to go upstream.
And a lot of times,
it's that lack of confidence
that doesn't make you go all in.
You know, in today's world,
they call it imposter syndrome, right?
It's just straight up fear.
Like, I'm afraid to fail.
I'm afraid I'll look stupid.
What if I try that next level of my business
and it doesn't work?
What if I leave my corporate America job
and try to do something and it doesn't work?
And it's like, oh, I'm an imposter.
It's like, no,
you're letting outside influences
ding your confidence
because when your confidence is down,
you're not courageous,
you don't take action,
you don't, the thing I've always said,
I've said this for 20 years,
it's like, have you ever closed the deal
when your confidence was down?
Have you ever had a great conversation
with a significant other
when your confidence is down?
If you enter that conversation
and the other person's confidence
is up and years down,
you're losing 100% of the time.
You don't get to influence your children
when your confidence is down.
Nothing works when your confidence is down 1,000%.
So the part that I love, and I'm merging some worlds together,
is all of us have something.
And maybe we could talk about that today.
All of us have something so valuable to someone else
if you just learn to unlock it, right?
You could teach a million things,
but your deal and what you train
and it seems like the foundation is confidence,
that is the key to success.
But someone else might teach KPIs or,
or processes and systems and someone else might teach sales
or someone else might teach you how to eat vegan
so you're healthier or how to fix your relationship
or how to go through a divorce elegantly.
All of these things that you can help people with,
how to play the piano, how to cut hair better.
I mean, Tony and I have seen people in 4,500 different little tiny niches
that are utilizing what they've experienced
to help someone else go to their next level.
So I know I kind of bridged a bunch of things.
I love the fact that you go deep on confidence.
I love the fact that you're coaching.
And at the end of the day, all of us have that gift of something someone else needs.

So, Dean, I like that you brought up, you know, what is it that people have within them already that could be unlocked to potentially generate revenue, impact people's lives?
So often, myself included 25 plus years of sales leadership in corporate America, I still didn't see that value once I was on the other side.
I thought, well, everybody knows how to do that.
I mean, and don't you run into so many people feel like when you're great at something, you figure that's not a big deal?
Everyone must be great at that.
It's so true.
I mean, everybody says, I'm not really an expert.
I don't have a following.
I'm a little bit of an introvert.
Who would buy for me?
That is the number one thing.
Simultaneously, this is an industry.
We'll call it the self-education industry.
Could be the e-learning industry, the online industry, the coaching industry, the course creator
industry.
But think about this.
About four or five years ago, it was a hundred million dollar a day industry.
It's about a billion dollars a day right now.
And they say by 2020, it'll be a trillion dollar a year industry.
And it's not being fueled by myself or Tony Robbins or people that you might know.
It's being fueled by the average person saying, I'm going to share this experience.
And people that are buying it are going, I don't want to go back to college.
That general knowledge isn't working.
I don't want to learn on my own.
So let me find something.
I need confidence to make smart decisions.
I want Heather.
I want to learn how to enter in the business.
I want Dean Graziosi.
I want to learn real estate.
It's something.
Like people are turning to everyday people who have already been there, right?
So the best way I would describe this,
you were in sales for how many years?
25 years.
Oh my God, amazing.
I should hire you to consult on sales for my company, right?
I'm an obsessive hire of people
to steal their knowledge,
ethically steal it by paying them, right?
But I just want to share something.
Heather, what would it be worth to you?
And I've asked this question a lot,
but I want everybody to hear it.
Maybe you've heard it before,
but I want you here.
What would it be worth to you if you had a week to prepare
because you knew that,
You were going to go back and you could spend one day with your 20-year-old self.
Oh my gosh.
That would be so impactful.
It would be incredible.
So you had one day to prepare, right?
Maybe you lay out buckets like, okay, I need to spend the first half a day realizing that you are a gift.
You are empowered.
You don't have to rely on a man or a company or a business.
You can do this.
Here's the five.
I have goosebumps thinking about it.
Like here's the five things I want you to focus on.
Like hear me, right?
And then, okay, when it comes to business, next thing, relationships.
I want these three things.
Your health, being a mom.
I've literally goosebumps on my face.
Because I feel how I would want to be with my 20-year-old self.
When you think of that value, I've also asked a lot of people that.
People say one or two things.
Priceless or millions, right?
If they're thinking money, they think millions.
If they're thinking life, it's price.
That's the gift.
You are a chapter, a book, or 10 books ahead of somebody else.
So imagine the first day you started in sales, right?
It took you 20 years to get to the badass that you are.
But imagine day one if you built a course or a coaching program or a workshop where you condensed
decades into days.
And somebody when you were 20 years old came to you and said, Heather, here's what I learned
over 20 years of being in sales.
You get to start off where I left off.
Start on third base, not on first base.
Just think where you would have been.
You would have been where you are now by year two.
So now how priceless is that coaching?
How priceless is that course?
How priceless is the workshop that you do on Zoom over a weekend.
It's worth hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars.
So when you charge $1,000, $10,000, or $500, it is the cheapest value in the world.
And the world is realizing that.
Why should I go through this valley?
Why should I figure all this out when someone else already has?
And that's why this industry is growing so much.
And if you're watching or listening right now, I guarantee you've been through a mess in your life that you're on the other side.
You have a skill, a hobby, a passion, a life experience that people are out there right now looking for.
So I don't feel this is one of those things like should you consider selling what you know?
I think you're doing a disservice to the world by not understanding how you should be selling what you know.
That's a mistake so many people make.
They make it about themselves.
Oh, I'm not good enough.
I'm not an expert.
Flip it around.
Make it about the people you can help and think your job in this world is to show up and make this world a better, brighter place.
what you want for your kids, for the people that you love around you and your community.
It's your obligation to come forward and make that offer available to people.
Don't think about it as selling to someone.
Think about it as offering a solution and a launch point for them.
Like you just said, and Dean, one other thing that I need to jump on real quick,
you mentioned the trajectory of growth right now in personal development.
And what's interesting to me is I was in, and please listen to this guys and apply it to your life.
I was in the radio business for over 20 something years, right?
That was an industry in decline.
I was a talented person taking off in an industry that was collapsing.
That math does not work.
It's so important.
I want everyone to pick your head up right now and think about this.
Maybe it's not this industry that we're talking about today.
I think that you should take a look at it.
But go to a growth industry.
If you're someone who's just at baseline, you will grow.
Your revenues will grow.
You're successful growth.
start getting into areas where the trajectories are taking off, not declining.
Everybody should just hear what Heather shared and write it down because, you know,
Blockbuster dates me too.
But if you own Blockbuster, it didn't matter if you had the best store in the world that's going out.
If you owned a taxi company, it doesn't matter how great it is.
Uber's eating your lunch, right?
And we are, let's just face it.
We are in an economic decline.
Right now, we are in the winter, an economic winter.
I was in business in 2007 when it happened and I was in business in 19,
1999 what happened. If you're under 35, you probably don't understand how bad it can get.
And I'm not, it's like, oh, great, Dean, you're making me feel so happy. But here's what I would
share. Wouldn't it be better to prepare and anticipate than to react? Think about that.
Prepare and anticipate rather than react. We are in economic winter, but exactly what Heather said,
this industry, and if not this industry, just what she said, find another one. The self-education
industry, e-learning, whatever it is you want to call it, coaching industry, course-creating
industry is in the springtime. It is exponentially growing even though things are going down.
So you get to be, right, would you rather be an A player owning a taxi company or a B player
owning five Ubers, right? And I hate everybody uses Uber, overuses it, but it's just, it's a great
way to get and understand it. And that's why what I would say during an economic winter,
here's a couple bits of advice, your insecurities will be compounded. If you feel like an
imposter, if you have self-doubt, if you tell yourself a crappy story,
high gas prices, high interest rates, a sluggish economy, stagflation, inflation, the news polarizing
everybody, add that on top of it, and your insecurities will grow. Your imposter syndrome will get
bigger. Realize this is not a time to sit on your hands. This is not a time to freeze. It's not a time
to obsess on the news. It's not a time to talk to your friends on how bad it is. It is a time to
investigate and find those growing industries and get your ass in front of it. Listen, Wayne Gretzky,
when he was asked why he was such a great hockey player,
one of the greatest hockey players of all time.
You probably know his answer.
He said, most people skate to where the puck is.
I figured out how to skate to where the puck was going.
You must be someone to figure out where the puck is going.
Where is your country going?
If you're here in America, where are things going?
What industries are going to die during this recession
and what industries are going to thrive?
And you need to investigate and see how you can get yourself positioned there.
And how do you learn from someone who's already been there?
And how do you use an asset?
Listen, I love this industry.
And I would do anything in my power.
It's why Tony and I decide to do it.
We're doing a free challenge coming up here soon.
Love to invite you just to investigate.
But if that's not it, get excited and find something where you could be out in front of it.
All right.
I want to dig into what you brought up, which is a recession.
And for those who have not gone through it or for those of you who maybe were in it like me thinking the wrong way.
And I remember 08, 09.
I'm big into gratitude as I know you are too, Dean.
And I would wake up every morning.
I'm grateful I have a job.
This is where gratitude can steer you wrong, right?
I was downplaying myself.
I was not seeing my value because I was scared, right?
You saw everything.
People were foreclosing in my building, losing their condos.
I was like, I'm grateful I have a job.
I'm grateful I have a paycheck.
Completely undervaling my own abilities in that moment.
Literally for a year and a half, I felt that way.
Then my company gave everybody across the board a 25% pay cut, right?
Oh, I'm grateful.
That's all I had to take.
wrong way of thinking, by the way, no company gives everybody that pay cut. I found out when I
made it to the C-suite, plenty of people didn't take that pay cut. I did. So no matter what your situation,
when that moment hit and you're frozen and just feeling grateful to be in whatever crappy
situation you're in, that's the flag to say, pick your head up now, find the growth trajectory
opportunities. Had I known what I know now back then, I had equity in my condo. I would have pulled
that money out and started acquiring properties, but I wasn't thinking about growth because
Because the headlines.
I was frozen.
I was just sitting here.
I did interview.
I didn't, I didn't, I didn't mean to cut you off.
I'm excited.
I love what you just said, because it's so true.
I just did an interview with Tom Bill U.
I don't know if you know Tom, impact theory.
He started Quest Bar.
If you go in any story you see Quest, he started, sold that.
Now he's got Impact Theory.
And he's a dear friend of mine.
And we did a podcast and he's interviewing me.
And he said, he was asking me similar questions.
And he's such a great question.
He asks great questions.
But he said something.
He said, you know, what is the natural reaction?
fight or flight, right?
Something happens, it's like,
it's like, I'm going to fight this or I'm out of here.
He said, but that, during a recession,
there's a third F.
It's freeze.
And he said, God, I wish I would have known.
Just what you said,
I wish I would have known
what you're sharing now in the last one
because I froze a little
when you realize those that freeze
get left behind.
And he said, luckily his business grew
when he had a way around it.
But he said, most people froze,
and now I want to scream from mountaintops.
Do not freeze.
Gain capabilities.
learn from people who've been through it, find where the puck is going, because this is actually a time to thrive.
I mean, if you Google some of the biggest businesses ever created and the most money ever created, when does it happen?
During recessions.
During recessions, because those that freeze are waiting for someone else to fix it.
And here's the thing, literally no one's coming to save us.
Like when you adapt that mindset, listen, I say this a lot too, but if you're listening right now, you either like our last president if you're here in America or you like the current one.
It doesn't matter.
And I don't care which one you like or which one you hate or if you hate both of them.
But the question is, did either one of them save you?
Did either one of them pay off your debt?
Did either one of them make you rich?
Did either one of them make you happy internally?
That's on us.
Nobody's coming to save us.
So once you realize that, you shut off the news, you say, what capabilities do I have?
How do I gain more?
How do I learn from someone who's already been there?
How do I get disturbed with my own inaction?
How do I shut that voice up that tells me I'm not good enough, I'm not big enough, I can't
have enough money?
How do you shut that up and then evoke that inner hero, that inner fire that you have and go for it?
Because most people won't those that do stand the chance to change history in your family.
Absolutely, given these hard times.
And I love that, you know, you were just bringing up, I know everyone got motivated from hearing you give this talk around like, this is the time to go for it.
But here's where most people fail.
And you know this.
A lack of accountability, lack of community around you of champions that are running at.
ahead of you pulling you along.
That's why most people fail,
and that's why I so appreciate your program
and what you're doing.
Yeah, and most people have a lack of a plan, right?
Some people get motivated and excited,
and then they look at a blank piece of paper,
like this is their blueprint, and they're like,
where do I start?
Like, here's what I want to say.
Get yourself excited.
I hope I am today.
I hope there's one thing that Heather and I are talking about
that sparks interest, but don't just sit there and think,
well, where do I go?
Find someone who's already been there.
If it's with Tony and I'd say,
I invite you to our challenge.
We're doing on August 2nd.
It's going to be unbelievable.
Five days, about 90 minutes a day.
We're going to show you the blueprint.
It's free.
Come and get inspired.
At the end, maybe you want to join us
and be a part of this industry.
But if not, I promise you'll be fired up
to go find the thing that will fire you up.
But don't sit and wait.
Don't hope it's going to get better.
Hope is not a strategy.
And you said something before that really hit me.
There's a lot of times in life we convince ourselves
and say, I'm blessed.
I should be grateful for what I have.
The fact of the matter is you should be.
We're not dead.
150,000 people die a day.
You can Google it.
We're here.
If you're listening, you're watching,
you might not be going through the perfect time
and you're like, but you're here to fight another day.
Right?
So we should be grateful and yes, we are blessed,
but you shouldn't be satisfied.
Like I believe, whoever you believe your maker is God,
I believe God gives you this potential.
You don't want to be at the end of your life
and he say, oh my God, you know, you played at a six.
You know you're a 10, right?
You know you had a lot more.
to give. I just don't know why. I think it was Ed Milet. I heard one time say this and it really
hit me. He said, imagine at the end of your life if God played you a video of the woman you could
have been. I'm like, or the man you could have been, right? Like you'd throw up on yourself. Like,
please, can I go back? Right. So what we have to do is not only get disturbed with an action.
We have to overcome those beliefs, but we must find a place to start. And that the best way I know
is who, not how. Don't try to figure out the how. Figure out who's already done.
it and is willing to share how you can get there.
Take advice only from people who have been where you are going.
Do not take directions from people have never been there or you're going to get further
off course.
So, Dean, one of the things that I loved so much about your program and your in 20s program
is you're giving us the opportunity to learn literally from Tony Robbins best speaker ever.
I mean, you guys, incredible.
And you from your sales and marketing, I mean, for me, I never took, you know, I, I,
I went to college, but I never went back and got my MBA.
I'm so grateful.
I didn't do that, by the way.
And I'm so grateful.
Instead, I took your course because it was like one of these things.
It was like the fundamentals around the sales, marketing, copywriting strategies that you deployed in such a fast window of time.
It was so much better than an MBA.
You know, my nephew works for me.
And he went to school for five years.
And he got his degree in marketing.
And he said, he learned when he came to work for us, he said, I learned more in the first three weeks than I did in the last.
five years of school. Because it's, again, it's specialized knowledge, not general knowledge, right?
Traditional education goes wide. Specialized knowledge goes deep, right? And companies are hiring now
based on specialized knowledge. So yeah, it's fun to watch. And I'm so glad you went through
it because it's completely different having a conversation with you after going through it, getting
results, having results based on it. Again, especially if you were programmed in the corporate
America world, it's like, isn't, aren't coaches for like softball, soccer teams, baseball, basketball
teams?
It's like, no, you need somebody to coach you in no matter what you have.
Listen, I went through a divorce five and a half six years ago and I had children, older
children.
When I went through that, my parents had been divorced, not married and divorced nine times.
I only saw dysfunction growing up.
So, of course, I probably adopted that.
And the reason I went through a divorce, I raised my hand, I was at least 50% at fault.
Zero question on that one, right?
But as I was going through that divorce,
there was two things that really bug me
is it was painful going through divorce
as a kid with my parents.
They still hate each other.
They've been divorced 50 years.
They won't even sit in the same room.
50 years later, right?
I didn't want that to happen,
and I wanted to find a way to have a real relationship
on my ex so I could have a child-centered divorce.
Simultaneously, I knew that if I brought me
to my next relationship,
I'd probably bring the same old shit
that made that one not work.
Just being honest.
And I got two coaches.
I got a coach on a child-centered divorce.
How do I empower my children?
How do I make sure they're not fragmented?
How do I replace all emotions with empathy and compassion with my previous wife
so we can become real friends and put our kids first?
I also got a coach to figure out how do I become a better man to attract the type of
woman I want?
I want a 10 out of a 10 woman.
But I need to be a 10 out of a 10 man to attract a type of woman like that, right?
So I got a coach on both and I got rid of the shell and the things I was holding back on my heart
because I only saw dysfunction,
I didn't think real love existed.
I worked on me and I worked on it.
And I have to say, I know I wouldn't be in the place I'm at
if I didn't get a coach on both of those.
And the coach on the love part,
wasn't a trained coach,
just as someone who studied it, practiced it, and lived it.
And I have to tell you, I'm married,
six years ago, divorce,
I've been with my wife now for five years,
about a year after my divorce.
I didn't even think a marriage like this existed, Heather.
I mean it.
I fall more in love every day,
but I know I have to bring a better version of me to get that.
I always say I walk in a room.
My wife looks at me like I'm the only human alive,
the way she looks at me with love,
even after five years and we're having our second baby.
But that wouldn't happen if I didn't have a coach.
My kids are thriving.
They don't feel fragmented.
They're with their mom this week on vacation,
but when they're with us,
like this Mother's Day, I look at the kitchen table,
and my wife, my current wife is at the kitchen table
helping create crafts for the kids for their mom, right?
None of that, and I'm sorry to go on a rant on a personal story,
but none of that would have happened without a coach,
and neither one of them were therapists, professionals, had degrees after then.
There were both people who went through those experiences.
They were on the other side, and they shared what they did,
and I got the same results they had.
We all need a coach, but here's the thing.
We all can be a coach, or we all can have a course,
or we can create a workshop based on our experience,
and it's more valuable than anything you could ever imagine.
You know, Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger, they're, you know, probably the two best investors in America, right?
And some of the wealthiest people in the world, and they do a yearly share.
And they just did their yearly share.
And they said two things, to beat inflation and a recession, one is invest in yourself.
Learn from somebody get better, because when you're better, even if the dollar deflates or we pay each other in seashells, if you're better and invest in yourself, you'll just get more of those seashells, right?
And number two was be a part of a business with higher margins.
Really hear that.
Because supply chain issues, cost of product, if it goes up,
if you only have 12% margins and your cost of product goes up 10%, 12%,
you're done.
Business is over.
Here's the thing I love about this industry of selling your life experience.
Think about the margins.
Your most valuable asset is your life experience.
You could sell it over and over again at no cost.
You don't have to store it, warehouse it, ship it.
And it impacts people in a massive way.
pay you for it. So if that's not enough to say, I'm intrigued, I'd like to just see what this is about.
If anything I said intrigues you, then I want to invite you, Tony Robbins and I on August 2nd,
we start a five-day free. We're calling it a challenge because we really challenge you to show up.
We challenge you to think differently. We challenge you at the end of each night to look through
a different lens at life, but it's free, not kind of free, it's completely free, and it starts
on August 2nd. It's going to be pretty darn amazing. We've got some incredible guests coming.
And even Matthew McConaughey's coming.
I read his book, Green Lights.
I love that book.
I don't know if you listen to it, but I love that book because he entered our industry.
That book's not about him being an actor.
It's about these green lights in his life that he thought were negative, but they became a positive.
So we got some great guests, all hell bent on showing you why this industry, why now, why you.
And I think you'd be crazy to miss it.
Okay, first of all, if you don't follow Dean already on Instagram, you guys need to start following him because then you can follow his beautiful life that he's created.
And I love, it's just so inspiring to see not only your business success, but to your point that
you use that same reasoning.
How can I make myself better?
How can I invest in myself so that I can have that personal life that I want that I dream
of?
And he's made it happen.
And it just, it's adorable.
You got to check it out on Instagram.
Follow Dean there.
But, you know, one of the things that I remember when I jumped into KBB with you is thinking
to myself, okay, what is it that I can add value around?
And I challenge everyone listening to this.
Go look at your DMs.
Go look at the emails.
get from people, the text messages, what are people always asking you for? And when you start seeing
these same questions pop up, how should I decorate my house, Heather, or how do I bounce back from
challenging situations? That's a business model right there that you don't have to quit your day job
right now. If you're worried about the recession, you're worried about the economic downturn.
Keep your job. Wouldn't you agree, Dean, and start, put your toe into the challenge?
Yeah, 1,000 percent, because again, listen, we have.
people that help someone eat vegan, do yoga, find spirituality,
find themselves after being a mom, a wife, a job.
And I know this one woman who's doing amazing,
she lost who she was.
She was something for everybody else and forgot herself.
Went through depression, went through sadness.
When she found herself, now she teaches other women
how to find themselves in her way.
And is there a lot of other people out there doing it?
Of course, but some people are going to resonate with her.
Some people are going to want to be coached by me.
Some are going to want to be coached by you, Heather.
It's everybody aligns with someone and everything you could possibly imagine.
There's a girl, Cyrene, I know she's doing amazing, helping women naturally through menopause.
She's like, I'm not a nurse, I'm not a doctor.
I thought, who would buy for me?
She's like, but I studied obsessively how to do it naturally and I don't feel crazy.
I didn't gain the weight.
I don't feel like I'm psycho.
She's like, now I'm teaching other women how to do that.
And it's just so amazing when people finally gain the capabilities and then go
for it. And that first time they get a sale and somebody says, thank you for sharing your life
experience, Heather. And they're like, oh my God, I just got paid to help someone. That's why I'd say,
really, if anything we talked about today is intriguing, just show up and see what these five days
are about. I'm so grateful you guys are doing this challenge. I mean, the timing to your point around
the negative headlines that everyone's getting beaten with, if you guys are feeling a little
apprehension around what's happening in the world, it's time to surround yourself with people who have
been where you want to go and have a roadmap for you to get there.
I've used the roadmap.
The roadmap, it wasn't linear.
It wasn't what I thought it was going to be.
It was so much more.
As I mentioned to you, one of my coaching clients offered me a board seat in a publicly
traded company that I would have never landed.
Wow, so good.
It's crazy.
But you have to be willing to open your mind to life isn't just one linear way that you've
been living it.
Why not open it up to that possibility and that potential?
And that's accessing new information.
making new context, learning new things, and this doesn't cost you anything.
Yeah.
And listen, this is a time in history.
This might be the last year we do it.
Listen, we're probably going to put a million people in it.
It's not only the five days of Tony and I and these amazing guests,
it's all the prep and the capabilities and the customer support
and be able to serve a million people who register is not an easy task to pull off.
So this might be the last year, but it's worth it,
especially in a time when people have so much uncertainty.
Listen, we went through two years of COVID that created uncertainty.
And just as we're coming out of COVID, inflation goes up, gas prices, cost of food, wars, separation, a media that tells us we're more separated than we are alike.
All these things together create next level uncertainty.
And I believe it's going to get worse.
Tony and I know that.
And this whole five days is to help give people a tool, like you said, that can bolt onto a current business, bolt onto a current job you have, and have this side thing that shows you how to impact others, create success.
and then you can decide for yourself
if that's something you want to go deeper
or full time on.
So we're really excited.
And I want to give everybody a URL.
It's Thrive265.com.
Thrive265.com.
Go check it out.
It's free to register,
and we'd love to have you.
And for anyone that registers right now,
I will put it in the show notes.
I will also give you
my online confidence video course.
You're going to get it for free right now only.
Join this program.
We're going to give you every reason to do it.
It's going to pay off for you.
I'm so great.
your back, Dean. Thank you so much for your time and so looking. I will be there. August 2nd,
I'm with you. Heather, appreciate you so much. All right, guys, until next week, keep creating your
confidence.
