Starting point is 00:00:00 Come on this journey with me. Each week when you join me, we are going to chase down our goals, overcome adversity, and set you up for a better tomorrow. I'm ready for my close-up. Hi and welcome back. I'm so glad you're back here with me this week. Okay, I was just thinking to myself that on the outside, so many people look like they have it all together. They're succeeding. They're leading their best life. I just want to let you know it's BS. And here's why we only see the side that people want us to see, especially as we all know on social media. And it was funny cause I was thinking to myself,
Starting point is 00:00:37 I dropped my phone in LAX two weeks ago and had no cover on my phone. So my phone's all, I mean, jacked up. It's fine, right? It works. It's fine. I haven't had a chance to go get it fixed, but bottom line is this, I was thinking to myself, oh my gosh, I can't even take a selfie if I want to right now. Cause my phone looks like trash.
Starting point is 00:00:55 Then I thought, no, why don't I just do it with the phone trashed? And I can make a joke about the point that I dropped my phone. Like this is real life. And it's just, there's so much scrutiny for everybody out there, right? Like the minute you do something that isn't seen as ideal or perfect or whatever, the haters are gonna come, right? So I guess I just want you to know this. I dropped my phone in LAX.
Starting point is 00:01:17 I'm gonna put a picture up with the broken phone because I do think it's kind of funny and it's so me. It's so imperfect and it's so real, right? And I also want you to know this. I do not it's kind of funny and it's so me, it's so imperfect and it's so real, right? And I also want you to know this, I do not have it all together. Oh my gosh, any time that you're going from one level to the next level, right? And by that, I mean, I'm gonna use myself as an example.
Starting point is 00:01:38 So I just entered into two new business partnerships which are huge, right? And it's taking up so much time and I'm moving forward with so much faith. One of them, I've known the people for years, right? And we've been working towards this for years. I never thought it was actually going to happen. It was taking so long. And the irony is I was served up all these pictures of one year ago today and I was with
Starting point is 00:02:03 these people. And anyhow, the point is the process, like I call it like a birthing process, like it took so long to get here that I keep finding funny notes. Like today I was going through, I'm heading to LA again tomorrow and for the week and I was emptying out all my bags
Starting point is 00:02:20 and trying to get everything organized and make sure I have everything and do all my checklists. Like it's so not sexy and exciting when you're getting ready to go on a week long work trip. However, I'm sure it'll look amazing on social media. Hello, except for the busted phone. But the real story is, right, I'm going through all these old papers
Starting point is 00:02:40 and I start pulling things out and I'm reading them. And I found a paper. One was notes on the first time I took the Tony Robbins Dean Graziosi stage, right? And so cute because I know when I was writing it, it's before I went on, right? And so I know there was that sense of like nervous energy, like, oh, this is it kid, like you've been wanting this for a long, long time. Like, here you go. What are you going to do? Right. And so I love looking back at things like that. This is why journaling is super important, right?
Starting point is 00:03:13 Or taking notes and saving them is really important. If you don't do that, please start doing it. I actually have a book that I'm bringing it with me to LA that it's just all my notes. I like to actually write things out versus put it in the computer. But the point is this, it just makes you realize how far you've come, which then makes you realize how far you still can go, which makes you realize how anything truly is possible. Anything. I never thought I'd be sitting like, I talk about this so much, the me five years ago
Starting point is 00:03:39 be so proud of me sitting here today, right? And I'm so proud of that me five years ago that had big dreams and had big goals. But even though I'm five years ahead of where I was then, now I'm entering this new level of like leveling up, right? Now that I just created these two new partnerships and it's changing everything about my business and balls are getting dropped left and right and I'm having to make sacrifices
Starting point is 00:04:03 and I'm leaving for a week yet again, and leaving my son, and there's always going to be some level of sacrifice if you want to go for something. If you're saying yes to something, you're saying no to something else. That's just reality. You're prioritizing one thing in that moment. And what I've learned is there's time and place for it all.
Starting point is 00:04:25 A few years ago was not the time to leave my son And what I've learned is there's time and place for it all. A few years ago was not the time to leave my son when he was going through a tough time that was not even on the radar for me. Things were so different then. But now things are coming together. And it's funny, I was remembering another thing from a couple of years ago, and I hope you do this for yourself.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Remind yourself of a year ago, five years ago, seven years ago, two years ago, whatever it is and see how far you've come and how proud of yourself you should be. And if you're not, oh my gosh, this is a wake up call. Life is not a spectator sport. Start participating, right? Start getting out there and leading from the front, messy and imperfect as you can. And just start taking some action and swinging for it. Like you got to start going, okay?
Starting point is 00:05:07 Because there's too much unrealized potential out there in the world and I don't want it to be you. I still feel like I'm sitting on total unrealized potential over here, but I am pushing myself to go for it every single day. I promise you that. So anyhow, so I was thinking back to a couple of years ago, maybe it was three years ago, and I was spending time with someone and talking about how I'm so confused
Starting point is 00:05:28 because my whole career in corporate America was based on sales and sales leadership and growing teams and driving revenue for a huge company. And I was responsible for thousands of people and hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. Cut to I get fired, as we all know, seven years ago, and started over on my own alone, which was so different because I was so used to leading huge teams
Starting point is 00:05:52 and there's beauty in it and there's headaches and nightmares in it too, right? Like it's lonely and it's hard and I don't know how to be the IT person. And I didn't have all the resources that I used to have behind me or all the team behind me. However, I get to move as fast as I want every day. I get to try all my crazy ideas and like do whatever I want and I'm fired up for it every day. Right? Like, so I'm my own boss and I love
Starting point is 00:06:13 that. I love it's like the nicest boss I ever had. So there's pros and cons to anything you're doing. Well, anyhow, I was reflecting on it's so weird that a big part of my life was all around sales and sales leadership. And then since I had been fired, people were more leaning into me for personal development, for confidence, for overcoming hard times. So I saw like this massive split, right? And in my mind, it didn't make sense. It certainly did not make sense until recently.
Starting point is 00:06:41 And I'm like, why would I become really good at something, really skilled at something, leading sales teams, selling and developing people as sellers, and communicating, right? Because I did a lot of speaking then, then move into more personal development, keynote speaking all the time, working really on my own mostly, instead of leading teams, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:06:59 And so I kept having this question mark, like why would I have these two totally different paths in life? It doesn't make sense to me. Well, wouldn't you know with these two new business partnerships, it's all coming together. And it's so weird. You can't connect the dots looking forward. You can only do that when you look back.
Starting point is 00:07:16 And I just want to remind you, no matter where you are today, all of these different things you're learning along the way are being taught to you and you're being exposed to them for a reason. We just don't know what that reason is yet. When I started podcasting, an online store was the furthest thing from my mind. Now I'm selling my group coaching on the regular and it is just so easy, all because I use Shopify. If you're like me and you're interested in muscle health and having strength and living to your nineties
Starting point is 00:07:56 and being able to run and play with kids and grandkids, then Mitopure is what you need to listen up to. Mitopure is the first product to offer a precise dose of Urolithin A to upgrade your mitochondrial function, increase cellular energy, and improve muscle strength and endurance. Mitopure is clinically shown to give our cellular energy generators new power by triggering the body's natural process for removing and rebuilding damaged mitochondria called mitophagy. One way to think of mitopyr is that they are little Pac-Man in your cells chomping up the damaged mitochondria that makes you feel old and tired and recycling it into new healthy
Starting point is 00:08:36 ones. Taking two soft gels a day for two months, you can see significant improvement in your cellular energy, muscle strength, and endurance. After four months of taking mitopyr, you'll feel yourself getting stronger, recovering faster, after a workout and experiencing less inflammation, all part of your healthier aging routine. Mitochondria, our cell's power generators, are a key influence in how we age. However, as years pass, mitochondrial efficiency naturally declines, representing a large gap
Starting point is 00:09:02 in the quality of life we expect in our later years and the one we experienced when we were younger. Mitopure is the number one Dr. Mended Urolithin A supplement that is NSF and clean label project certified. Timeline is offering 10% off your first order now. Get Mitopure. Starting point is 00:09:32 Right? So you just have to have faith that it's all going to come together. And I remember a couple years ago just expressing how confused I was. Like why can't I find a way to bring these things together? And today they've been brought together with both of these new companies that I've partnered with. And you're gonna see more of this over the coming months. And I can't wait to bring you completely
Starting point is 00:09:57 in the loop on all of it. But I'll tell you, I'm now in this going to this next level. Like I'm establishing new relationships. I'm doing things I've never done before, right? Like I'm now in this going to this next level, like I'm establishing new relationships, I'm doing things I've never done before, right? Like I'm entering communities I didn't know anybody. So it's, anytime you go to that next level, anytime you enter that next new opportunity, there's gonna be some level of nervousness,
Starting point is 00:10:20 or some level of sacrificing other things to go all in on that thing, and not knowing and taking a risk. Right. Cause ultimately that's what it was, especially for my partnership with my female partner. We had never even met. We'd only met each other through a mutual friend and on zoom and on the phone. And so we formed a business partnership with our attorneys, with our, you know, with everybody involved without ever having met in real life.
Starting point is 00:10:45 And thank goodness it went incredible in real life. And you gotta trust your instinct on these things. Some things are gonna move real fast. And this partnership moved so fast it all happened within a month. And then there's this other partnership with these guys that I've known for years that I couldn't get this thing, I couldn't get it signed, I couldn't get it signed.
Starting point is 00:11:01 Like we just kept going around and around and around. And I look back now at all the notes along the way and all of the insights people gave me that cared about me that were in their circle more than my circle. And it's just so cool how it all came together. So again, anytime you're going to go to that next level, there's going to be a risk. You're not going to know the people or the things you're going to be doing. You're going to have to trust and have faith that it feels right and listen to your intuition. And for me on both of these, they're very, very different as you're going to see,
Starting point is 00:11:32 but they kind of bring everything together for me in a really wild way that it's going to allow me to use the skills I developed in corporate America and merge them with the skills that I've developed as an entrepreneur over the last seven years, which is just, it's incredible. And I feel like it's all been bringing me towards this, which is so cool. Cause I'm going to be able to help so many people. I'm so fired up and excited about it.
Starting point is 00:11:53 And by the way, if you're not fired up and excited about work every day, let me just tell you this, this is me tapping you on the shoulder saying you're meant for more and there's more within you. And you've got to figure out what that is. Start asking yourself what are the things that you love to do when you were younger? How would you spend your time right now if it wasn't about money? I understand there's so many people are saying but you don't understand I have two little kids and I have to do this and I have to and I have to. I get it and there are windows of time and seasons in
Starting point is 00:12:21 your life where I put myself on shutdown and you know gone all in to take care of my son or whatever it may be, because that's what had to happen at that point in time. But the more faith that you can have, the more you can step into your real God given purpose in life, the more doors are going to open for you, the more excited you're going to get, the more momentum you're going to build, the more energy you're going to feel, right? And the more you just keep doing that next Right thing, you know, you'll never feel bad about doing the right thing today There was someone in my building who just happened to be randomly cleaning in my hall I just thought that was so nice. Like I don't where did this lady come from?
Starting point is 00:12:58 So I ran in to get her a cold water because I just you know, it's September in Miami It's hot and she was so so grateful and I came back into my condo and I just, you know, it's September in Miami, it's hot. And she was so, so grateful. And I came back into my condo and I just felt so grateful to be in my situation that I'm able to give somebody a water and not think twice about doing that, right? Anytime you do a small act of kindness, you feel better about yourself. That builds confidence within you.
Starting point is 00:13:18 Like it just builds momentum that, I don't know, it just builds good. And a small act does matter, it does count, right? Sending somebody a nice note, got a note today out of the blue from someone wishing me luck this week, knowing that I was heading to LA for this big week. And the things I'm gonna be doing this week are completely new with people I don't know.
Starting point is 00:13:39 And I'm out of my comfort zone yet again, right? It's overwhelming and it's exciting too. And so if you're not feeling like a little nervous, if you're not, you're not pushing your boundaries, you're not going to your potential. You've got to be feeling a little like, okay, we got to do this. You know, we're all right. I'm stepping inside. I have faith. It's going to go great. I'm going to trust myself. But I also want you to know this all weekend this weekend, I did not go out. A lot of times people think like, oh, you know, you're out there living
Starting point is 00:14:04 your best life and you know it's so exciting and all so much fun. No, I've been working all weekend because I knew that while I'm there this week I am gonna be so intensely focused on this business partnership, this company, in this community and the opportunities I have in front of me and I want to be there and be in that present moment that I'm not going to be handling my other businesses. I'm not broadcasting life in the podcast. So I had to do extra work on the podcast over the past five days.
Starting point is 00:14:35 So there's always going to be a give and take. For me, it's like, I don't know, I don't think people realize the amount of work that goes in and especially being a woman. Can I just say that too? Oh my gosh, my partner that I'm going to see in LA was saying, hey, we need to get some images for the website and we're gonna have a photographer there. And then we've got a number of events there this week while I'm there, that's why I'm going.
Starting point is 00:14:57 And she's like, listen, I'm gonna have videographers, I'm gonna have photographers. And I'm like, oh gosh, you know what that means. You gotta look it. You need to try hard. You need to pick out the right outfits. It's so ridiculous that, you know, four hours of my Sunday was all about trying clothes on and going through my suitcase.
Starting point is 00:15:15 And it's just, it's insane. But my point is, it's not easy. Like if success was easy, everybody would have it. Everybody would be nailing it. I live in a world of uncertainty all the time, not knowing what I'm walking into, but I've learned because I've been doing it now for a few years, that that's where the real opportunity lies. That's where I get excited. And that's where I want you to get excited too. For too long, I lived in corporate America where the path looked so linear and I thought it was so well lit
Starting point is 00:15:41 and I knew everything that was going on. Eee, spoiler alert, I had no idea and it was completely unpredictable, but I was fooling myself saying it was predictable. If you feel like that, pick your head up to say, mmm, no, like there's more for me out there. And start pushing your boundaries. Get rid of negative people in your life and watch positive people start showing up. Watch people that start opening doors for you. But you've got to drop the negative ones first, right?
Starting point is 00:16:05 Like you've got to start treating yourself as someone who's deserving of more. And the more that you believe in yourself and you are a champion for yourself, the more others will start showing up and becoming a champion for you as well. But if you don't believe it, why would anybody else? So do that next right thing for you today, whatever that may be, to invest in yourself, to grow yourself, to commit to yourself in some way. Write down your dreams and take action every single day to find a way to work towards it.
Starting point is 00:16:36 Doesn't mean you have to have all the answers. Put yourself in a community of like-minded people that are gonna hold you accountable, cheer you on, and push you to go for more. I'll tell you, my September team is doing that right now, and it's so exciting to see, right? Put yourself in a community of like-minded people that are going to hold you accountable, cheer you on and push you to go for more. I'll tell you, my September team is doing that right now. And it's so exciting to see, right, that when you become a part of a community, a team, you are so much more likely to go for more.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Back to my new female business partner. On Friday, I was on Zoom meetings back to back all day long and was recording a lot of episodes for the podcast too. And oh my gosh, some of them are so flipping good. I can't wait till you hear a couple of these new interviews. They're gonna blow your mind. I'm so pumped. I am doing a podcast interview from LA too this week,
Starting point is 00:17:12 which is gonna be super exciting with a very famous person that you're gonna love. Okay, but I want you to know what was funny to me was I'm in community with her now. She's my partner, right? So that's new. Like that's a new accountability partner. That's a new partner. That's someone to hold me accountable and push me to the
Starting point is 00:17:27 next level. And she's light years ahead of me. And so I'm on a zoom and she starts Face timing me unexpectedly, which that's like, let me just tell you, I can't stay on people Face time me unexpectedly and 99% of the time I won't pick up just because I think it's crazy. It's like having an in person meeting, but you didn't schedule it. I don't pick up just because I think it's crazy. It's like having an in-person meeting, but you didn't schedule it. I don't understand it, but people do it, right? So I couldn't pick up, I'm on a Zoom, I would pick up for her because she's my partner, and I couldn't pick up. Well, I get off my Zoom and immediately I FaceTime her back.
Starting point is 00:17:58 I have no idea where she is, and she loves doing stuff like this, by the way, because I've been with her now in real time, and she loves just picking up a phone facetiming people wherever they are So now I'm starting to learn and get to know her right like anyone you got to learn and understand them that this is their Routine this is what they do. So I facetime her back. I have no idea where she's gonna be I'm in my kitchen recording podcast episodes and working and I can hear screaming people. It's like she's at a concert, right?
Starting point is 00:18:25 It's Friday afternoon at five o'clock. And I realized she's at a huge event with 6,000 people out in LA. I hadn't known, I hadn't spoken to her on Friday. It just hadn't, I didn't know where she was. And she's showing me through FaceTime how cool the event is, and immediately I knew what she was doing.
Starting point is 00:18:47 And this is why it's so important to be in community with good people, right? I knew right away, I'm flying out there tomorrow to be with her for a week because we're putting a number of events on, and we're planning our events for fourth quarter and for 2025, and we're actually conducting events this week, right? We have
Starting point is 00:19:05 three events this week. As I'm watching her FaceTime, I realize what she's doing to me. She's inspiring me to go bigger. She's showing me what's possible. And she's getting my brain to lock in to say, wait a minute, if this person can do it, because we both know the person that was throwing this event. Oh, boy, oh, we can do it. because we both know the person that was throwing this event. Oh boy, we can do it. And so I could barely hear her and I just started yelling, how many people are there? And she said, 6,000 people, Heather. And I said, then we can do 6,000 for our event. And she looked at the phone and said that that's exactly right, sister.
Starting point is 00:19:40 And so it was just so cool. And this is why community is so important. Who you run with is so important. I had not thought that big when it came to our events, when it came to our community yet. I mean, granted, we are gonna grow this company exponentially and I'm so hyped about it and it's gonna be incredible, but I had never thought about our events
Starting point is 00:19:57 having 6,000 people. I have only been to one of our events so far, which was a couple of weeks ago, and it was a much more intimate gathering. But now that I saw this, it's like unhinged. No, like blow the lid off the top. We are going and six thousand we are coming for you. That's gonna be our first goal and then it'll be ten after that and then it'll be twenty after that, right? So as you start running with people that are visionaries that see bigger, you start seeing
Starting point is 00:20:25 bigger for you too. And you suddenly have someone holding you accountable to it because you just spoke out loud what the goal and commitment was. That's how important it is. That's how important it is to partner with the right people. That's how important it is to be in community with like-minded people. That's how important it is to get rid of the naysayers and negative people from your life so you can run with the people that are saying yes.
Starting point is 00:20:45 And instead of saying, how will we ever figure it out? Her favorite thing to say is, who do we need to tap to figure it out? Who already has the answer? Stop asking how and start asking who who are those people for your life? Right. And if you don't have them, oh, my gosh, sign up for my free accountability partner program at Heather Monahan dot com. You'll get an email from me every single day. Sign up for one of my in-person Zoom events.
Starting point is 00:21:09 I did my August team. I've now currently have my September team. Would love to have you on the team. It is so inspiring, so motivating. And as part of a collective, everyone rises faster. Because let's be honest, there's that pressure and that incentive and that excitement as knowing that you're not running alone But you get a team with you
Starting point is 00:21:29 And so I am so hyped to go run with my team at inner fifth out in LA this week We are doing such big things I'd love to have you join inner fifth and I'm gonna get you more information on it as we move forward as we Roll things out as we go to the next level I want you covered with me because you deserve to go to the next level too So to that end know that I have no idea what I'm walking into yet again, starting to see uncertainty as opportunity and anything is possible. When everything is uncertain, anything is possible.
Starting point is 00:22:17 And it's an important shift to make. And it just makes me feel excited. Like I'm so fired up to go. I'm fired up to be around good people, to meet new people. I'm fired up to see my old friends in LA. Like there's so much, oh, there's just so much good. So I'm so grateful. I'm so thankful. I'm so thankful you're here. I need to hear from you. If you guys have questions for me that you want me to answer on the show, please send them. You can message me at my website, heathermonahan.com. You can send me a DM on any social media media but I will always answer your questions live. Okay so I was asked on
Starting point is 00:22:48 LinkedIn this week how do you handle an unruly or upset crowd when you're giving a keynote and I'm gonna share the story that I shared in the answer and response which people found pretty interesting. Okay a couple years ago I was giving a keynote. I was not the biggest speaker, you know, name, personality. There was a guy much bigger than me, light years ahead of me, you know, quote unquote on paper. And the speaking business, speaking world, he gets paid a lot more than me. He's taking bigger stages than me, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Okay. But really, listen, that means nothing. So you know, let's take everybody off the pedestals. We're all equal and we all bring our own value. Some people just apparently are charging more or, you know, let's take everybody off the pedestals. We're all equal and we all bring our own value Some people just apparently are charging more or you know Brokering better deals and we currently are but we're on our way kids. Let's go giddy up. Okay, so This was an event in Boca Raton. It was a big venue and I had never spoken at it before but I was hyped I was like, alright, let's go. I'm super hyped
Starting point is 00:23:40 Well turned out that this guy that supposedly, you know bigger speaker than I am, he had to catch a flight. So he was not gonna close the event. Usually the biggest name closes the event. I was closing the event because he had to fly out earlier. So it was kind of a flip flop, which I thought that was a little weird. I was like, kind of odd that I'm gonna be coming after him, but okay, I'll do it.
Starting point is 00:24:01 We'll bring the house down, let's go. This is a new challenge. I got there early so I could hear him speak because I knew he gets paid more than I do. I knew he had headlined bigger events than I had at that point. And so I was curious, right? I'm like, I can learn. Like, I want to learn, right? I'm always wanting to learn. I want to get better. I want to read more. I want to see more. I want to understand more. So I am in the audience watching him and I had friends that were there too and were sitting together and the crowd was so rowdy, so aggressive and so negative. And they were getting so loud you could barely hear him even though he's mic'd up, right? It was just, it was getting out of control.
Starting point is 00:24:36 He was becoming unhinged and he started yelling at the audience. Here's what I know. Negativity will never garner a positive response or outcome. Never. Being negative is never going to turn a negative situation around. It will only make things more negative. So his approach was not working. He was getting very upset with the audience. Bottom line is this, backfired. He ended up leaving the event, walking off stage. My friend looked at me and said, what are you going to do? Because I knew I had to run back there. I was going on. They were texting me, said, what are you going to do? Cause I knew I had to run back there. I was going on. They were texting me,
Starting point is 00:25:06 Heather, where are you? Come back here right now. I looked at my friend. I said, run to the bar, grab me a drink. He did that. He met me backstage. I was getting miked up and I'm going on like very unexpected. I wasn't supposed to be on for like another 40 minutes. And so he hands me the drink and I walk out there. And the first thing I did was I raised my glass to everyone. I was like, I just want to cheers everybody. I was meeting people where they were at, right? These people, they wanted to go out there. And the first thing I did was I raised my glass to everyone. I was like, I just want to cheers everybody. I was meeting people where they were at, right? These people, they wanted to go out drinking. There was a bar in the back. I think a lot of them had
Starting point is 00:25:31 been drinking, right? It was rowdy, really rowdy. So meet people where they're at. So I raised my glass, everybody raised a glass. We did a toast. I thanked the host for putting this amazing event on. I thanked everybody for their patience, knowing that I was the last speaker standing between them and their happy hour. I thanked everybody for their patience, knowing that I was the last speaker standing between them and their happy hour. I told them how grateful I was that they were there, blah, blah, blah. And I just thanked them and showed gratitude, right?
Starting point is 00:25:53 Having a drink in hand to say, I see you, I see where you're at, I see what you guys are ready for, like, I feel you, right? I'm not challenging you, I'm with you. And so meet people where they are at Don't try to put them where you want them to be right acknowledge and accept Then I put the glass down and I said I'm so hyped to be here I've been working on this talk that I'm about to give and I just want to say for any of you that are just like We just want to go to the bar. Please go to the bar. I will meet you at the bar after this 30 or 40 minute talk and
Starting point is 00:26:26 No hard feelings. I'm hyped for you. But if you are in a situation where, you know, you want to get a message, please stay here and then we'll go to the bar together after basically letting people make a choice. If you can be a little bit more chill and want to hear something, stay. If you want to go drink, fire it up and I'll meet you over there after. So a good amount of people walked out, right? I'd say probably a third left and went to the bar. And two thirds stayed.
Starting point is 00:26:54 You could hear a pin drop. There was no more negativity. Like the rowdy people had stepped out. So you gave people an option. Like it wasn't your held hostage anymore. Anyways, I gave my talk, it went really well. People were hyped and at the end, I picked up the drink again. I'm like, all right, peeps, now it's time to go to the bar. I'm buying everyone a drink. It was an open bar. Okay,
Starting point is 00:27:11 so it was funny. We turn the situation around. Here's what I know. You're going to meet an upset crowd. You're going to deal with upset people, right? First and foremost, be accepting of the situation, know that we can't control the other people, and also know that when we react to them, we're allowing them to control us. And that's not how we roll. We show up, we think about what we're gonna say, we show up with all the grace and class within us, we pause, and we're thoughtful about how we choose to respond. Reacting, which is what that other speaker had done, and I get it, right? He was upset.
Starting point is 00:27:46 He reacted. It took all of his power away and it didn't fare very well for him. A negative response will never give you a positive outcome. So that's what I wanted to leave you with today. I hope it's helpful. I hope you're hyped about this week. I am so hyped. I don't know how this is all going to go down.
Starting point is 00:28:02 I just know it's going to be good. Until next week, keep creating your confidence, keep stepping into uncertainty and keep pushing yourself to the next level.
