Starting point is 00:00:00 When you listen to music, you have choices, all to hip-hop, rock, or country. The same goes for the Toyota Corolla family. You can choose the versatile Corolla Cross SUV or the fun to drive Corolla sedan. You also have the choice of gas or hybrid and options on stylish trims as well. For those who like choices, Corolla is music to your ears, like jazz fusion, if that's your thing. To find your perfect Corolla, visit your local Toyota dealer or Toyota.com today. Toyota, let's go places.
Starting point is 00:00:27 See packages and options at Toyota.com for future availability. You know that fresh produce is the best produce. That's why at Croger, we invest in local farmers to bring you seasonal picks that taste fresh from the farm good, like sweet corn, refreshing watermelon, and juicy peaches. I think it's a misunderstood industry in the sense that people think it's always bigger, it's more, it's better, it's plumber lips, it's bigger, but it's not that.
Starting point is 00:01:08 It's fundamentally if a woman looks great, she feels better. She's more confident, she can execute better, she's a better mom, she's a better friend. If you don't look great on the outside, that really affects all those things in your life. It's a big deal and we're talking about whole-body health and well-being. It means looking and feeling your best. I'm on this journey with me. Each week when you join me, we are going to chase down our goals, overcome adversity, and set you up for better tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:01:35 I'm ready for my close time. Welcome back. I'm so excited. Today is my first live-in- real life. I R L. I'm here with my new friend Amy Peterson. She is a skin scientist, medical esthetician, and just an unbelievable person. Amy, thank you for being here with me today. Thank you so much. I'm so excited. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited. This is amazing. Can you share with everybody a little bit about your extensive background in medicine? Yeah, so I got interested in aesthetics in college.
Starting point is 00:02:09 I was actually in a really bad accident and I had about 36 inches of scars all over my body. And this was around 2003. I started like looking up different ways to fix my scars and things like that. And I was young, I was only like 19 at the time or something like that. And this whole new non-invasive industry and aesthetics was coming out and it was fascinating to me that they started to have lasers and there was all this promise of
Starting point is 00:02:36 fixing and correcting things that you wanted to without surgery. So I quickly pivoted from being concerned about fixing my own and decided that this was like the path that I wanted to take and the career that I wanted to be in. It was around the time when Botox was becoming, it wasn't a household name, but people were talking about it. They may not say that they were getting done, but it was kind of the beginning. Laser hair removal, the first lasers were coming out, and I was really fortunate enough to land a position with an amazing plastic surgeon in Seattle. My husband was in his residency in Seattle and that was just the start to greatness. He basically told me this is what I have for my non-invasive skin division and why don't you build it.
Starting point is 00:03:17 I did that over the course of nine years and it was an incredible ride. During that time became a trainer for a lot of different companies. They could track my utilization of different consumables and they would come to me and say, what are you doing that so different? What's a consumable? So a consumable is a part of any procedure that actually costs the practice money. So if you're doing a laser, they may be a tip required. If there's, if you're doing cryo, maybe there's gel required. So whatever is like Botox is the consumable in the Botox treatment.
Starting point is 00:03:46 So during the nine years on the West Coast, I was really exposed to tons of different devices. And I think curiosity is probably one of the things that I love seeing in people and I love seeing in myself because when you're curious about something you need to know, and you need to know why. And that ties back to, you know, education and being educated on all these all these devices. So it was a great start for me. Yeah, your background is so unique in that you work with so many different brands and
Starting point is 00:04:15 companies. It's really given you a special perspective to see what the best of the best is out there. So people come in all the time and they ask me how I built my office now and what was my inspiration and you know being a trainer and visiting hundreds of offices, you get to go inside like nobody else and see the whole dynamic and see what works really well and what doesn't. And I've taken all these little gold nuggets and I've like collected them like little rocks throughout the years. So I knew when I wanted to open my practice exactly what I definitely wanted to do and what I didn't want to do. And I feel like that was just such a gift. I didn't even know what's happening and it was happening.
Starting point is 00:04:52 But I call it my PhD. It's so interesting because most people, myself included, I'm obsessed with skin, obviously very concerned with how I look at being female and in my 40s. So I always thought, oh, you want to just be with the best brand. And that would be the whole line that you should look into. But what you're sharing is that no, actually in every brand, there's amazing products, but you might
Starting point is 00:05:16 want to actually look at certain products from different brands. Yeah, I think even to go one step further, you know, brands are developed in labs, usually. And there's all different brands out there. If brands are able to, they go to some of the best labs, they sort of some of the best ingredients. And once you understand what ingredients are and the tips and types of labs across the world, you kind of know what these founders put into their product. And then they launch. And you'll see a lot of products now launch
Starting point is 00:05:45 with one, two, three products. There's a product to just launch with one cleanser. And you're like, how do they do that? Well, they put so much of their R&D, their research and development. So maybe like 80% into this one product. So you know it's going to be a wow factor. I call them the hero product. So when I'm selecting and curating different products, I'm not only looking at the brand, the story where it's made, the ingredients, I'm also looking at what are they come out with first, or what did they spend the last year working on. And then when you come into my practice, you might see, you know, a lot of products, it's not overwhelming, but I've curated the best of the best of what I believe is out there. And some of them are up and coming brands. Some of them are well known brands. Some of them are only medical brands.
Starting point is 00:06:26 So you really have to customize what you have available for your clients. It's the same way I believe in lasers. People come in and like, oh my god, or just devices in general. You have so much. And nothing sits here. But if you only have one device,
Starting point is 00:06:41 then you're only offering all your different patients one solution, where that's not offering all your different patients one solution. That's not the case. I combine treatments, I do everything. So you need to have available options to treat properly, I believe. Well, I just want to test to work, because we actually are here right now at your spa, and it's gorgeous, and I'm sure you must feel so proud of what you have built here just over the last year. Yeah, I mean, I am very proud and I don't really rest of my Lord.
Starting point is 00:07:10 Like, I'm always looking at new ways of innovating. I think that's something that's different about me. I have to remind myself to be proud, remind myself to to savor the moment. I kind of always am looking at the next opportunity. I think I was reading something that I had a day and I was so interesting and it was about people. And it was like, you can teach people a lot of things, but you can't teach passion, you know?
Starting point is 00:07:32 And I thought that was so interesting, even being someone that would voice people. Like, that is something that so unsildered me. So, yes, is there things about my job that are difficult? Yes, and managing people is that difficult. But like the passion and like, what I love to do, it doesn't feel like work. It's exciting. It's so fun to me to find the next thing that's out there, the next advice, the next big change. So I think
Starting point is 00:07:55 that's kind of what comes through, and that's the big motivation behind it. I love what I do. Well, it's so clear. Your passion for innovation is so clear. And just looking at, I've been here a couple of times now and seeing the amount of services that you offer. And like you said, the different products that you have here, I mean, it is unbelievable. So thank you for creating. Give us a story, how did this business come to be and during a pandemic?
Starting point is 00:08:20 So my husband told me that we were moving to Miami. He could find that he got a job in Miami. He's in two years long distance. I loved where I worked and I didn't want to leave. I'm very loyal. And then I got pregnant and then I did have to leave. So I went to my son to having father. So when he moved here, I first, I was super overwhelmed.
Starting point is 00:08:39 I was like, how am I going to recreate something that I created on the West Coast here? And at that time, social media was huge. It's not like people now can create identities and have them follow that I'm in a specific field. So when I came down here, I had my brandy baby. I was learning the lay in the land. I asked some of the people on the West Coast
Starting point is 00:08:57 to give my name to some people on the East Coast in different companies and if they needed trainers to kind of get my feet wet again. And then before you know it, I was like booked out like crazy doing like 35 trainings a month, which was insane. Some of them just follow up, some of them full trainings, and I got to start seeing all the offices. And I was like, I'm gonna, you know, I didn't want to work for anyone again. I felt very, I wanted to do this on my own.
Starting point is 00:09:21 I felt like I could take the patient through the whole experience. And that's what I wanted. I really wanted to create this on my own. I felt like I could take the patient through the whole experience and that's what I wanted I really wanted to create an entire experience not just have them come in and get a procedure so I Just started doing what I do that is and I started networking and reaching out and I started in the little office out of my home and my claim to fame was I was the trainer who was going to train all these offices So why would you go to them if you could go to me? And that just happened on its own. I didn't even cultivate that but every
Starting point is 00:09:48 patient I had to say I put a hundred and ten percent into and then they would prefer another patient. My business has been solely based on referral. I don't do any marketing. Any advertisement has been is an article that has been written about me that's's not paid. And I believe if you invest in people and you give your all, they're gonna tell people. And that's kind of what happened organically. Then I wasn't quite ready. I couldn't find the space. I knew what I wanted, but I couldn't find it in Miami.
Starting point is 00:10:15 I didn't really know the location I wanted to be in. And then I started renting space from another doctor's office. And then within two years, I walked in here right before the pandemic and January, and I was like, I was just taking bath. I almost cried because I could feel the energy. And most people come in my office, they feel the energy in it. And I just saw it. Like I just knew what I could do. And I didn't look anything like this. And I just, I was like, okay, this is it. So I purchased this. I spent the whole pandemic, the labor of love, me and my contractor who happens to be very close
Starting point is 00:10:49 with we kind of quarantine together. And we built this. I designed it. I love interior design. I kind of visualize things. I often say I didn't use a ruler. I just was like, they're there, they're there. And how fortunate I was.
Starting point is 00:11:03 I was very scared because I mean we're not touching people's faces and we're wearing masks like how could a business like this survive. So why didn't you stop what got you to push through that time? I really like history and I remember reading about the Great Depression and there's two things that made it through and one of them was liquor, alcohol sales because you know, one's depressed, it's great depression. And the other one, they talk about the lipstick effect of the 1920s and women,
Starting point is 00:11:30 even though they were depressed, they still wanted to look good. They couldn't do anything. They could buy a 99 cent lipstick and lipstick sales rose tremendously during that time. And I just thought, you know, people want to look and feel good. And if anything, this year has taught us
Starting point is 00:11:44 what's really important in self care. And I I just knew I knew it would come back. I didn't know to what extent or how it would, but I knew women were going to want to look and feel their best eventually, women and men. And you know, sometimes I just put blinders on like a racehorse and I just go forward. And that's I don't look at anything around me and I just I'm kind of focused on my primary purpose which was this. Thank gosh, I did that because now this business even just to get an appointment sometimes can be challenging. It's amazing to see what you've built in one year's time. Yeah it's amazing. I think you know shortly after
Starting point is 00:12:19 that six months after we opened and I purchased the second unit next to me and and built three more rooms, which I think was scarier than the first because I was like, oh my god, now I'm, you know, adding more technology and taking more risk. But today I really trust myself, you know, and I think that takes a lot of personal growth and self-awareness. You know, self-awareness, and I had a lot of experiences in my life that have landed me to a spot where I really trust myself, and am I going to make him stay sure? I'm always going to pick the best of eyes, probably not, even though I have a
Starting point is 00:12:53 pretty good run at it. But the end of the day, like, you know, it all goes back to your poor mission statement, and if you make people not only look amazing, but feel amazing, and they trust you you and you take care of them. That is something that is missing and all my clients know that they get taken care of here. They get checked on. We want to know. We don't want you to come in to have one appointment and never see you again. We're not a revolving door, you know, and that's part of even the vibe of like cozy, the cheap, but medical, but kind of want to hang out. So if you invest in people, I think you get it back 10 fold. That's so powerful and I love that you said you trust yourself.
Starting point is 00:13:29 And what you build really is unique. There is, I've never been somewhere like this before. I mean, do you see yourself as having direct competitors, or do you see yourself as having created a white space? I think that there's lots of towns of people out there. I think there's lots of faces that could, you know, that want to improve women that want to improve things. I don't look at people's competition.
Starting point is 00:13:52 I really don't. I never have. I don't. Like that full race-worse thing, you know, that analogy has really kind of kept me where I'm at. Because, you know, if I'm focused on what someone else is doing, I'm not focused on what I'm doing.
Starting point is 00:14:02 And over the course of the last, you know, two years, last year specifically, I'm not someone I'm doing. And over the course of the last, you know, two years, last year specifically, I just said, just keep going forward. And you know, if the people will come, if they want to come, if you're producing a quality product they will. But yeah, I also feel like, you know,
Starting point is 00:14:16 I'm really proud of other women doing what I'm doing. So like, I don't want to, you know, put them down. You know, I got a nice message from another person who owns a aesthetics business in the area. And it was like a really nice message on Instagram. Like, I'm really so proud of you. You're doing amazing things. I look up to you, like, these are the types of,
Starting point is 00:14:32 you know, relationships I wanna build. Not like these competition, like, you're better, who's better, you know. You stay here laying you, do your thing, and you wish well for other people. Oh my gosh, why are there not more women like you, Amy? What in the world? Let me tell you, in corporate America, people do not share
Starting point is 00:14:47 that attitude, but I love it and you're so right. I'm so glad to hear that woman sent you that message. That's really impressive. Yeah. Okay, so with innovation and to me, especially with skin, with health, innovation is everything. What are you most excited about right now? So I'm really excited about, I would say like the different body treatments that are coming out. I think women have, we've focused on the face for so long. And I'm not just talking about, you know, cellular. I'm talking about chest.
Starting point is 00:15:15 I'm talking about hands. I'm talking about what a woman walks in and you can clearly see she has a facelift, but the rest of her body is age. Oh, that's not a good look. No, it's like sister, you're not kidding anybody. I think body and then I think, honestly, as a core theme, preemptive approach, people are like not waiting to have a heart attack
Starting point is 00:15:34 to go see the doctor and change their diet. People are not waiting until they're totally wrinkly and a surgical option is the only option. I've been seeing a good lot of women in their early 30s being like, I, not that they're old, and people are like, they don't know what they're talking about, no, they do. Because fundamentally, they look different than they did when they were 20. And they're like, I want to do something, you know, a little bit here and there to kind of preserve my age,
Starting point is 00:15:57 to stimulate my collagen, to build skin health, to not be in the sun, it's an awareness. And, you know, there's no denying, I think it's a misunderstood industry in the sense that people think it's always bigger, it's more, it's better, it's plumper lips, it's bigger, but it's not that. It's fundamentally, if a woman looks great, she feels better, she's more confident, she can execute better, she's a better mom,
Starting point is 00:16:19 she's a better friend. If you don't look great on the outside, that really affects all those things in your life. It's a big deal, and we're talking about whole-body health and well-being. If you don't look great on the outside, that really affects all those things in your life. It's a big deal and we're talking about whole body health and well-being. It means looking and feeling your best. It's so true and I actually just recently ran into a woman I hadn't seen in years. The last time I saw her, she looked fantastic.
Starting point is 00:16:38 And now seeing her after the pandemic. And again, no judgment, because I gained weight during the pandemic, which I know so many people did. It was definitely a trying time However, I could see she let herself go and not only could you see it visibly It showed up in her personality She wasn't having that energy that sparkling attitude she used to have and I actually said something to her He said you look different, but you seem different to me too So I really resonate with what you're saying with the exterior can impact so much more than
Starting point is 00:17:06 just that image that you're projecting to the world. It's multifaceted, but I'm the first person to think that, you know, the inside counts so much more. And I know that, but I know that the outside makes the inside better. So it really does. Like I said, when I know for me, when I gain weight, I just don't feel as proud of myself, as confident myself going into situations. But if I try harder, work out more,
Starting point is 00:17:29 take care, invest in myself, start showing up on the outside, isn't that best version of me? It definitely picks up my attitude, how I feel and how I see the world. So I'm so glad to see that so many people invest in themselves. And one of the things that I know everyone has struggled with, as I mentioned in the pandemic has been waking. However when I
Starting point is 00:17:48 turn on social media I see Kim Kardashian rocking the best body of her life and I'm hoping that you'll be willing to share what are those secrets that people like Kim K are rocking to show up and look different and it's not just Jim time. You're right it's not just Jim time it's a private chef it's not just gym time. You're right. It's not just gym time. It's a private chef. It's, you know, tailored fittings. It's a lot of pressure. I'm sure for her, you know, I often think about some of these celebrities. And I think, oh, my God, just the pure pressure.
Starting point is 00:18:15 I mean, God, sometimes you just want to be able to gain three pounds and have it be OK. National security experts are warning. Our aging power grid is more vulnerable than ever. January marked the third time a power station North Carolina was damaged by gunfire. Authorities are saying the attack raises a new level of threat. Starting point is 00:22:13 business to the next level today. Shopify.com slash monahen. You work with a lot of these celebrities. Yeah, but you know what I will tell you the best clients are maintenance clients. They view this as something that they have to do. It's like working out. You would never expect a personal trainer to get you in the best shape of your body in one month and maintain it.
Starting point is 00:22:37 It's just like anything. The reason we don't have the fountain of youth is because we age. Like nothing is promising forever. It's a constant maintenance. It's constantly interjecting on those areas. What people do is they, I think the mistake they make is they try to alter things.
Starting point is 00:22:52 They try to go, you know, they're trying to change something on the outside that they can't change on the inside. And biggest thing I get is when people will women come in and they say, my husband doesn't want me to look like this so I can't do anything. And they're, you know, insert any celebrities name that maybe has too much filler, right? And I'm like what you don't see what your husband doesn't see and what you're not seeing is the millions of women
Starting point is 00:23:14 Walking around like me who have done little things here and there a little filler little tweaks and you they're like you I'm like yeah because I've noticed changes and there are these subtle changes, you know It's not like go big or go home. More is actually just more, you know, that's where all it is. So it's really being able to have an eye and guide someone and educate them. Like another thing is I can't tell you how many people walk in here and I say I ask them about their history, what have you done? They say, you know, I don't remember any, I don't know, it was something with the light, it was something like my patients, whoever they see next,
Starting point is 00:23:47 hopefully it won't be another person. But they went someplace else. They would say, Amy said this, it was for this. This is why I did it, and this is how I maintained it. Like, it's really important, my patients know that, because how else are they gonna, like, fundamentally have a game plan for going against this aging thing, you know? So.
Starting point is 00:24:04 And hope is not a strategy. Hope is not a strategy. I think also, you know. So, and hope is not a strategy. Hope is not a strategy. I think also, you know, staying out of the sun, I live in Miami. I, you know, sometimes clients will say, oh, but I live in Miami and I'm like, well, do you think I fly in here every day? I do too.
Starting point is 00:24:16 I live in Miami. You know, there's ways of doing things where, you know, you just gotta look at risk and reward and like the reward, I mean, you see someone aging who's 60 who's been in the sun a lot. You see someone who's not and they fundamentally look different. They look different at 37. It's a weathered look, you know, and I see all throughout your spot. You have sunscreen placed everywhere.
Starting point is 00:24:38 Yeah. Yes. And I have one I'm completely obsessed with and I'm like, you know, because I feel like in order to wear sunscreen, you have to love it. I feel like adults are still like children. They look at sunscreen like, oh, I'm gonna put sunscreen on.
Starting point is 00:24:50 I'm like, oh my god, I can't wait to put my sunscreen on because I love it. If you love your regimen, if you love the things that you're doing, you will do them, as far as at home. And I'm gonna link everyone in the show notes to your Shopify store so people can actually see which sunscreen it is that they should purchase, which eye cream they should get.
Starting point is 00:25:08 It's the best of the best of all your favorite brands. Yes. Thank you for doing that. And you also for people who don't live in Miami, you offer virtual consultations. Yes. So virtual consultations, especially for some of the products like the Elagio Cuisin Che, you need to have a virtual consultation because we can't just sell directly online. It's really protecting that brand's education.
Starting point is 00:25:26 So basically meaning you just don't want to buy anything and hope it works for your skin. You don't want to Instagram shop by call it. And then also just virtual consultations for your skin in general. If you have questions, what treat moment suit me, what doesn't work. All these machines can boil down to simple facts. One day I think I'm going to do a YouTube audit, but what they are and, you know. All these machines can boil down to simple facts. One day I think I'm gonna do a YouTube audit, but like what they are and what they treat. And then I can get very confusing
Starting point is 00:25:51 because they have different names, different companies, things like that. But it's really like, you know the basics and the fundamentals of what you're treating and how you wanna age, you know, you can kind of make an educated decision on what's best for your skin type, but you have to know the facts.
Starting point is 00:26:03 Well, I really want you to get into endospheres, because I feel like not most people don't even know what that is or know it exists, but it's a secret that so many people are using right now that is working. Yeah, so endospheres, I mean, it changed my body. I will tell you, I am the shoemaker without shoes right now, to release that.
Starting point is 00:26:22 I have to like pull out the machines to just this little mirror and do myself, which is never, you know, quite as exciting as someone else. But end of this fears is the one appointment that I make that I won't give away that someone else does me to any client for anything. Because I think more than anything, it changed my skin, but it also, I feel like this euphoric feeling
Starting point is 00:26:39 that I get, this cleansing feeling of, you know, toxins, it's a main instrument. It's produced in Italy. It has these cylindrical spheres on it that are, I always say, there are like a hundred little fingers rolling over your body. It's a really in-depth tissue remodeling, and then you're getting the drainage as well. We typically have people come in for 10 sessions, 6 to 10 depending, and then maintenance after that.
Starting point is 00:27:04 So once a month, once every two weeks, for me, it definitely replaced my massages if you have to do one or the other, just because women as we age, it's great for men, but women more importantly, go through menopause, and they retain water, and they get that belly fat. And half the time, they're just walking around with like five pounds of water if you bloated. So once you kind of help all that lymphatic move along, you'll find the toxins release and your skin starts to smooth out as well. It's happy skin. It's not sad skin and that's kind of when you look at the before and after pictures, I look at like sad, sad, sad skin and like happy skin. Of course it's
Starting point is 00:27:38 more taught. Of course things are more lifted. Once again, maintenance because I guarantee you all these people are not perfect in their own life nor do they live in a box you know protects them from everything else around them so. Well I first hand number one I did the treatment and like you said it's similar to an aggressive massage is the way that it not painful definitely reminded me of massage but coming through a machine with your, I don't know if you call her,
Starting point is 00:28:07 she's a raky master, I believe the word, yeah, I mean, that was a whole other level of energy work and stimulation, but you know, I feel like, I know much about lymphatic drainage and the importance of it, why do people need to get lymphatic drainage? Your lymphatic system, just like anything, can just get backed up and it's kind of like I always think of it as your like the sludgeiness in your body, it's not as fluid as blood, it can harbor lots of toxins and it travels all throughout your body.
Starting point is 00:28:34 You know I think about cancer and inflammation and everything else and the lymphatic system it can move really quickly. So it just kind of gets backed up and when the plumbing't work, it doesn't matter how many times you flush, it's just not going to work. It's just backed up. So when you get it activated and moving, it's kind of like a cleansing feeling. That's where that feeling of euphoria and everything else comes in, that's a play. And then on top of that, we ask you to like drink water afterwards and go about and keep moving around.
Starting point is 00:29:02 We're fast-paced these days, but we're sedentary, right? Everyone's sitting, and now we've just been sitting for a year. So our bodies are like wake up, get active, move, and this has kind of helped simulating that. So this one treatment, if you had to suggest to someone they're heading into summer, people are hitting the beach,
Starting point is 00:29:20 this is something could be a game changer for someone in six weeks. Game changer, absolute game changer. And then you could even pair it with like, emesculp Neu or cryo, you know, because everything is multifaceted. So, endosphere's alone is amazing. Now, endosphere is with a stronger muscle underneath of it.
Starting point is 00:29:37 And I always say like a better backboard is even better. Endosphere is with, if you have a little bit of, you know, lumpy like fat in certain areas, like, you know, the bra or the, you know, the size and stomach. With cryo, it's amazing. So everything is kind of just an enhancement. You know, this is not a means of like a weight loss. It's like body contouring shaping.
Starting point is 00:29:57 And you can really do that. I think as we age, we stop worrying so much about the number and it's more about how we look. Because I've looked a lot of different ways at my way and then that's true. Like your muscle mass changes, everything after baby changes, people, I think need to stop to get away from the number and start to look fundamentally at how their body looks and what is healthy for them. And you're gonna share some of the before and after pictures that blew me away so that I can link those in my social media, right? Oh my gosh. You've got to check these pictures out. It really
Starting point is 00:30:24 is game-changing. And one of my dearest friends has been coming for months and having this procedure. And she said just like you, it's the one thing she will not give up. Even if she has to miss work, she will not miss that appointment. It's like the healthy as addiction there is.
Starting point is 00:30:38 We have one woman who comes once a week. And she's just like, I need this, and I need it for my spirit, and I need it for everything spirit and I need it for everything else. Like she feels you've worked when she leaves. So you comfort the change in your body, you stay for the way it makes you feel, and then the change in your body just an added bonus, which is such a cool device to have. Well, Amy, for people who aren't in Miami, what is one product that they can purchase that can help their body look better? Say you have a business idea,

So I actually, once again, going back to, you know, I love companies that really promote education and Augustina Spader is a great company that really promotes the education behind their products and understanding.
Starting point is 00:32:56 And they have this body cream, they have a body lotion and a body cream that we actually recommend post endosphere to start using. It's also amazing on stretch marks. If you know any of the history of his product, he initially came out with a product for a wound cream, which was like amazing, a wound lotion. And he was trying to get VCs to invest in this. And they said, no one's gonna invest in this.
Starting point is 00:33:17 You come out with a wrinkle cream. And then we can get the money for your wound stuff. And he said, okay, and he does it long story short. And he's expanded that line. His is very much about we pairing and moisturizing and if you see some of his before and after which I'll share with you as well and ours with people with stretch marks and just infrexions on their body it's amazing now once again like anything you have to use it you know the hardest thing of at home care is I actually can't go home with you
Starting point is 00:33:43 he's not really would have no time then. But, you know, people always say like, you're talking me out of buying products, I want to buy products, I'm like, but you're not going to be successful. Like, you've never done anything and now you want to buy seven products. Like, that's crazy. Let's get you on two things, be amazing at them. Then we'll build you up. Because some people want to go right from nothing to something.
Starting point is 00:34:03 So, I think it's really like, if you're a type person that you'd really like, a body can't be so worth it, but you do have to use it in order to see results. And with any product, I tell people, please at least try it for four weeks, four weeks consistently. Because half the time people use things for three or four days, it's not working. You haven't even shed a skin cycle. Like, it's not working. I mean, if you gave up on your personal trainer that quick, he would fire you. He would be like, what are you talking about? You're still sore from the first day, you know? That's kind of how you have treated your skin. The devices nowadays are amazing and they're much faster, right? They're, you can get results much faster, but, you know, nothing is overnight. If something promises you
Starting point is 00:34:44 something overnight, it's probably too good to be true. Oh that's so thank you for saying that because so many people want that that magic promise and then fall flat on their face and are really disappointed. How does everybody finds you get a hold of you and finds products? So you can follow me on at skincare by MEP on Instagram and go to the website. I have a Shopify there and you can purchase products on there or for appointments you can call our office or through Instagram. I'm always refreshing content.

So we have a lot. It's been a lot this year. And once again, going back to a state of gratitude, I'm so grateful for it, but I'm very excited for what
Starting point is 00:35:33 we can do in the future and what's to come. So I'm excited for you too, Amy. Thank you so much for continuing to teach and share your knowledge with everyone. Thank you.
