Visibility is the new security. And after the response to day one, I cannot wait to get this next combo out to you. Because knowing you need to be more visible is one thing,
Starting point is 00:01:18 knowing how to turn everything you've already done, learned and accomplished into opportunities, income and real security for your future is something completely different. In this training, I'm sharing what I've learned from almost eight years of building my own personal brand after leaving corporate, including the mistakes I made. What finally started opening doors for me and how you can begin positioning what you already bring to the table. So the right people actually recognize and see your value. And yes, we're going to go even deeper on AI. I'm giving you some of the actual tools and
Starting point is 00:01:47 secrets I'm using right now to save time, make better decisions, create content, and grow my business without adding more people or more hours or more cost to my day. Some of this stuff is completely changing the way I work, and I want you to try it too. Whether you're building a business, growing a career, thinking about your next move, or simply know you're capable of more than what your current opportunities are showing you, this training is going to help you start seeing just how much possibility you already have in front of you. Let's get going. It's day two.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Come on this journey with me. Each week when you join me, we are going to chase down our goals, overcome and overcome adversity and set you up for a better tomorrow. I'm ready for my close-up. Okay, so here's the thing. These tools are not expensive. They're super, super helpful. And I'm all about saving time so I can be more efficient, more effective, and get a
Starting point is 00:02:37 stronger ROI. I want you guys to look at it that way, too. It's not just about spending money to spend money, but, you know, how can we make money from how can this impact our bottom line in a positive way? And whether we're buying back time or we're driving. more revenue or more opportunity, those are all wins, right? So a couple of the AI tools that I really like, and I don't have affiliation to them, I'm just sharing what I've used.
Starting point is 00:03:00 For LinkedIn and Instagram content, I used and I got rid of my social media team a couple months ago. I don't know if I shared that with you guys the other day. I've had a social media team for seven years, and it's a huge expense. And, okay, first of all, I went to GitHub, G-I-T-H-U-B. Remember I told you a while ago, I went down the wrap. habit hole of AI. And Donna will validate this because I'm obsessed with it. And so at night, because I'm a psychopath and single mother, I sit like a nut and research AI all night. And so,
Starting point is 00:03:34 but I think you guys should do that too. Or you guys should come talk to me and I'll download my brain into you, which I literally can do. This is what I do for people now is I download everything that I've learned through skills, through automation into your computer so that you can have my information on your computer. And this is exactly what we were talking about yesterday. AI can produce very different results because there's different drivers. So another way is by downloading I go to GitHub. I used to go to GitHub. Now I had this milestone weekend. So now I've taken their skills, but Skills MD, you go into GitHub, GitHub, it's free. And you type in sales and marketing. You type in finance. You type in council.
Starting point is 00:04:20 I'm going to give you counsel right now because it's so flipping good. But anyhow, so I get all these skills. I go to Claude Co-Work. It's really important to have Plod Co-Work saved on your desktop. Do not just use the app. I have the app too. But to actually create the skills and use the skills and save the skills, you need to do it on Claude Co-Work on your desktop.
Starting point is 00:04:39 So you download that. And again, if anyone has questions, I can share how to actually do it. I go to GitHub and I find out what's trending. Well, wouldn't you know, the owner of Anthropic wrote this new skill called Council LLM. And what it is is a group of five, basically your own board that you don't have to pay. I sit on a board. Board members get paid a lot of money, right? And I want all of you to get board seats, by the way. And the way that I got a board seat was visibility on LinkedIn. Imagine that. Someone joined a CFO, join my coaching program. And then as he got to know me,
Starting point is 00:05:11 he said, you should be on a board. I said, no kidding. I should. Why hasn't anyone hired me? He said, why don't I introduce you to the CEO? That's how I landed my paid board seat, guys. So again, it's all about showing up consistently on LinkedIn, letting people know who you are, attracting opportunity and people to you. Okay, so we're at GitHub. I find the council and the council is your own board of directors. And basically, anytime you have an idea, so let's say today I was driving home stuck in traffic and I start thinking, you know what?
Starting point is 00:05:39 I really want to launch a skincare brand. I wonder if a skincare brand would do well. Could I make money on that? Would it be a good return on my investment? Does my audience want that? As soon as I get home, I say, I say, I go to Claude Co-work and I say, run counsel. So now it's going to trigger and initiate what that counsel
Starting point is 00:05:57 plot skill is. And I say against this idea. And I go in and I say, I'd like to create a skincare brand. I wonder if my audience would like that. I wonder if that's time well spent. I wonder if I'll make a lot of money. I wonder what the timeline will look like. I wonder what the downfalls could be, just poking holes. And I wonder what the upside could be.
Starting point is 00:06:17 And within 60 seconds, you have five different board members' opinion. You have deep research. And then the chairman comes up and the chairman makes the final call. And so the chairman comes out. So you're able to read all different five people who they all come from different perspectives. And I'll give you guys the council right now. It's so flipping cool. Just copy paste it.
Starting point is 00:06:38 And you can save it in your Claude Co-Work. If you don't have Cloud Co-Work, you need to launch it. Or you could just run it as a prompt, but you're only going to run it one time. that's not cool. You want to have it available to you all the time. I run it a couple times a day. And so it pokes hold in my ideas. It tells me what's great about it.
Starting point is 00:06:55 It tells me if at the end the chairman says, final decision, no. Heather, you have too much on your plate right now. This is not the best ROI for you. In fact, group coaching is where you will impact more people, deliver more results, and writing another book. And so I'm like, okay, decision has been made. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:13 It all makes sense. But sometimes when you're in your own head, I don't know if you guys ever feel like this. You don't see the things that other people could see. Oh, this is the one I'm giving you first. This is a prompt. Okay, this one says, imagine you're my experienced executive coach
Starting point is 00:07:26 with 20 plus years experience expertise. You're extremely thorough in your research and pattern matching, and you know I value direct feedback without sugar coding. That's because you like Heather, you don't like sugar coding, more than anything else as it helps me grow. Search deep and far through everything you can find about me,
Starting point is 00:07:43 through my emails, my Slack, my CRM, whatever it is that you have connected to the actual AI that you're using and tell me the most non-obvious way in which I'm sabotaging myself and my goals. Okay, so I want you to know, I ran this on me, right? And it was super helpful and really actually kind of sad. And I think you guys will think it's funny, but all right, here you go. Copy paste that and then obviously use that at your leisure whenever whenever you guys want.
Starting point is 00:08:18 But anyhow, so the point is, what it told me, it went and read all of my emails. And it does it in 60 seconds, right? And so it gets to know you very well. And it gives you an outside objective perspective of you. And it said, Heather, it's interesting you talk about confidence because the number one way you're sabotaging yourself currently is with your speaking business.
Starting point is 00:08:39 You just lowered your rate for Cigna. and then it goes on to say, and for one other client, and it's a problem. You have been speaking too long. You're a top 50 keynote speaker in the world, and you are discredding yourself by devaluing yourself. And it hit me like a ton of bricks in my face. He was right.
Starting point is 00:09:01 And I thought, oh, my, I am so in the weeds on it that I wanted Cigna for four years. We've been talking for four years. And so when they finally came back to me and pushed back on me with rate, billions of dollars. Why didn't I let them cut somebody else? But I didn't see it because I was so in the win.
Starting point is 00:09:18 I got them. I finally got them. Now I'm speaking for Cigna all around the country. So it's super helpful to have someone who can actually go through your email because no one's going to be able to do that, right? The lifeblood of AI is text. So the ability to read email, the ability to summarize this meeting, the ability to go through and say,
Starting point is 00:09:38 what teachings do we learn, but give us the follow-up steps. everything is about text. Anything you can say or speak. And again, speaking, you can do three times more than if you're writing. So I downloaded monologue as a tool. It's an AI tool that allows me to speak into my computer, allows me to speak into my phone, so that I can accomplish three times the amount of productivity in a day with AI
Starting point is 00:10:02 versus what I would have done just typing. So that's a good tool to get monologue. And then just train yourself to speak into the computer, speak into the phone. you'll get three times the output and work done in one day, just more efficient, more effective. So for anyone that's saying, I don't have to do this stuff, Heather,
Starting point is 00:10:18 well, I just saved you three times your day. So there you go. You've got time now. So, you know, using AI in these different ways is super, super helpful. All right, I'm going to now give you, this is my favorite prompt that I'm going to give it. Now, this is a skill. And again, as I mentioned,
Starting point is 00:10:33 a skill is something you save on Claude Co-work. And what you will do is run it. Anytime you have a question, you'll say, run, why don't you go ahead and run the council against this idea? And when you do that, the board members will come to help you, assist you, and change your life. It's like they change mine. So again, the council's brilliant.
Starting point is 00:10:57 It helps you make better decisions. It steps outside of you so that you can see what's really going on. Think about when you've a friend in a bad relationship and you say, oh my gosh, you should never tolerate that. It's doing that for you, right? it's allowing you to step outside of yourself and see, oh, gosh, that was not the greatest idea. Okay, I understand that now and I can move forward. And again, you can always make your own decisions, right? It's AI helpful as a tool and to get you think differently, but it's super helpful.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Okay, so I will send you guys the council in school after this meeting. And then, you know, for other AI tools, I'm a big fan of Stanley A-I, S-T-A-I-S-A-I. That's for Instagram and LinkedIn. Incredible. never just copy paste what they create. Always go through yourself because there's these little asterisks and black lines. The algorithms pick it up as AI slop, and so you're not going to get any reach.
Starting point is 00:11:50 So don't write it like just copy paste. No, I always put a personal angle on it too. So now the AI knows me so well, it tells my own stories for me, but I always like want to put a little tweak on it, a little something more human. So take it as an idea starter and then reimagine a,
Starting point is 00:12:07 but you'll never be at a loss for ideas, guys, ever. You can just say, what's trending on LinkedIn right now? It will pull the feed for you and show you. You know, what's trending in the category of self-help or finance, or it will show you and give you ideas starters on how you can reimagine it. You are never without an idea starter with AI. Another tool is called vocable, B-O-C-A-B-L-E-A-I, and that creates a content calendar for you.
Starting point is 00:12:34 So it's actually my friend's company. And so it will show you, you know, tell personal stories on this day. Tell stories about your past experience. Tell stories about your first job out of it. Tell stories about a bad boss that you had. Tell stories about a good boss that you had. It's going to give you a full month of ideas. And then once you have the ideas, you know, you want to put some human touch on it.
Starting point is 00:12:53 And then you can go to Stanley AI and say, here's my idea. Can you help me optimize this into a better post? Okay. So one of the things that I've learned recently, and this is another great tool. This one's called searchable A. And so what happened was we used to all be evaluated based on SEO. And we aren't anymore because people are using AI as Google. People don't use Google anymore.
Starting point is 00:13:18 And so what happened is during that transition, the way people find you has changed. So for me, I was everywhere on Google and I showed up great with SEO. When I learned about searchable AI and you can test it for free. So just test it and see how you show up. I showed up at a 50, a 50% of what my Google rating and so only half the people were finding me. That's a big problem for business, right? That's a big problem for opportunity. That's a big problem for being known.
Starting point is 00:13:46 And so I went to searchable. I signed up for the 14 day free program. And it did an analysis of me. And it told me, here's your top four competitors. Here's what they're doing that you're not. You're not on TikTok. You're not here. I mean, it tells you exactly.
Starting point is 00:14:01 It builds a plan for you of exactly what you need. to do. And then it tells you why you're not showing up as well as you used to and what steps to fix it. It's mind-blowing. So, and this is for, it doesn't matter to your corporate America or not. You still want to be, people, Google people. I had this conversation with my son today. You just got home from Europe. They were posting some picks of party. I said, sweetheart, take that stuff down, because someone's going to Google you when you're going for a job, when you're applying to an opportunity, and they're going to see that and say, nah, that kid's trouble. No, right? We have to be so aware of what we have online and we want to be found
Starting point is 00:14:37 and we want the good stuff to be found. So you can also, if there is bad stuff, there's ways to take that off. Searchable will teach you. And there's ways to bury bad content by creating more good content, more testimonials, more reviews of your work, writing more blog articles, more LinkedIn content.
Starting point is 00:14:52 LinkedIn content now populates the way the SEO used to. These are all just little hacks I'm giving you. Okay, listen, nobody wins alone out there, including this cat. We all win together. And when you see other people's, wins. It's inspiring because it makes you realize, oh, you know what? I'm not alone. I've got a team here with me and we can do it together. So please share, share your wins, share your homework,
Starting point is 00:15:13 share your feedback. Anytime you ask someone for something, ask for a favor. Hey, could I ask you something? It would really mean a lot to me. The majority of the time, people will say yes, right? So don't hold back. Go ahead and ask. And I thank you for offering up that feedback. As I mentioned yesterday. You never know. So I've had plenty of days in my career where I've been at a breaking point or feeling discouraged and someone tells me something like that. And then I say, no, I'm meant for this. I've got to keep going. I can make the world a better place. Right. So you feel, you step into this purpose and that you're helping others. And then that gives you momentum. I've got to tell more people what I do. I've got to make more money so I can do more good. Right. So it just starts
Starting point is 00:15:54 fueling you to this whole thing of, wow, I need to step in. I need to ask for what I I want. I need to lead with confidence because I know what I'm doing. I'm getting results. And so do each one of you. You're all experts in the things that you do. Start stepping into that power and owning it. The more confident you are, the more you ask for what you want. And the more you share what you can do for others, the more you make the world a better place. And I'm challenging every one of you to do that. And ask for something you on. Do the Benjamin Franklin at some point tonight or tomorrow during the day so you can come let me know how it went. and I guarantee you the majority of people will say yes.
Starting point is 00:16:31 I still remember my first real move online. I didn't have a website. I had a LinkedIn profile and a lot of nerve. And for way too long, I told myself a website was something I'd get to eventually. It felt expensive. It felt like something you needed a developer for. So I put it off. Here's what I wish someone had told me back then.
Starting point is 00:16:52 That delay cost me opportunities. and revenue. The moment I finally had a real professional website, one place where people could see my work, my books, my speaking, all of it. The conversations changed. People stopped asking, what do you do? And started asking, when are you available? That's when Hostinger asked me to try their AI website builder. I actually sat down and played with it. I typed in what I wanted, a clean professional portfolio that actually looked like me. And it built a working first version in minutes. No developer. No code. No, three week back and forth with a designer, extra fees, and it doesn't stop at launch. So when
Starting point is 00:17:30 you're sitting there thinking, okay, it's live, now what? You actually have help. If you've already got a site, they make switching over easy too. What I really love is that it's all in one place, your domain, your website, your email, your marketing, one account, one login. And plans start at just $3 a month. Building your online presence doesn't have to cost you thousands of dollars up front. You can start small and build as you grow exactly like I did. Hostinger, Build your vision step by step. Go to hostinger.com slash confidence and use code confidence for 10% off now.
Starting point is 00:18:04 Growing up, money in my house was scarce. And the conversations around it were a little stressful to say the least. That shaped how I handled money for years. Monarch didn't just change that. It gave me the chance to rewrite that part of my story and start a new story. Here's the thing about lifestyle creep. It's silent. You don't even notice it happening. My savings rate had quietly slipped 20% and I never noticed until Monarch put it right in front of me.
Starting point is 00:18:36 Now it's like having a financial advisor in my pocket. The AI weekly recap catches spending spikes and net worth ships before they become a real problem. And when I want a straight answer like, how much did I spend on travel last suburb? I just ask Monarch's AI assistant. Write your own money story with Monarch. Use code. confidence at monarch.com to get your first year of monarch core half off at just $50. That's 50% off your first year at monarch.com with code confidence. You know, visibility, not just hard work, as we just talked about, is what actually protects you. Your performance only gets you 10% of the way there. I wish someone had told me this when I was younger. You busted through the three lies that keep talented people stuck,
Starting point is 00:19:28 including the one that somebody told you at some point that's too late. I'm here to remind you, it is never too late. This girl's reinventing herself right now at 51 with my son leaving. Okay, you calculated the cost of staying invisible and wrote down a number. That's horrifying, right? And I definitely was right there with you with that compound number, not asking, not leaning into my unique value proposition, my power. it's expensive. So let's stop losing money. You uncovered your three undeniable wins, raw material for everything we're building, and you saw the overwhelming stats about layoffs. I want to get you protected. So let's get moving. Okay, I've been doing this for a while,
Starting point is 00:20:08 and I think what holds most people back from building their own personal brand, honestly is a lack of action, lack of accountability. But I'm obsessed with thinking of new and unique solutions for those dealing with these challenges. So today, we are going to remove the blocks holding you back from building a personal brand that gives you the security and freedom you want. And part of that is you're a part of a team here. I want you to share the action steps you're going to be taking in school. It's going to hold you accountable. It's going to inspire our peeps and our friends here on the call and help them do big things.
Starting point is 00:20:40 Okay, even if you're a beginner, I was a beginner. I'm a beginner at lots of things. Even if you think you don't have the time, by the way, I just showed you how to take back three X of your time, minimum, just by you. using the voice to text on monologue and using some of these AI tools, I just bought you back 10 hours a week, easy. And if you think it's too late, that's just a BS excuse. I'm not buying it.
Starting point is 00:21:03 Okay, for the people joining live today, I'm so grateful you're here. People have paid thousands of dollars to learn this stuff for me. So take notes and or when I share this content in school, you can go ahead and transcribe it through your computer and then download it, save it as a doc in your Claude co-work and turn it into a skill. How about that? You've been turned Heather into a skill.
Starting point is 00:21:28 I can teach you how to do it. It's so, so easy. And just so you know, these are the things that I keep finding ways to automate everything so that I don't have to do that extra work. The AI is doing it for me. And this is where AI makes us better. It 10Xs our lives. And it's not AI slop.
Starting point is 00:21:43 It's my content. It's neat, but it's packaging it up for me the same way if you had an assistant transcribing everything and summarizing everything for you. It's just cost $20 a month instead of, you know, 10 grand a month or whatever you pay a team. I shared this with you yesterday. I'm obsessed with this. Athletes, I call everyone an athlete because we are in the game.
Starting point is 00:22:03 If you're not ready to be judged, criticized, doubted, underestimated, this girl is underestimated all the time, misunderstood, clearly, rejected, even mocked, you're not ready to be great. That's part of the game. So start accepting it, embracing it, and turn it into part of your plan. Okay, so the bold brand trifecta.
Starting point is 00:22:23 I've been teaching this for a while. It's confidence. It's personal brand and it's monetization. And for a long time when I first started, I wasn't monetizing my business. I was so focused on. I knew I needed the personal brand. I wanted to scale it, but I forgot about that piece. I'm not going to let you forget about that piece.
Starting point is 00:22:41 There's like anything you get better at something, the more you do it. I've been doing this now almost eight years and I'm really good at it. and I've taught so many people to do it. And again, it doesn't matter if you're in corporate America, if you're in corporate with a side hustle or if you're a full-time entrepreneur, this applies to us all. This is the world we live in.
Starting point is 00:23:00 And for those of you, like some people said, hey, I'm in corporate America and I don't want to upset my employer. And I believe this is why I was terminated, by the way. But that's eight years ago, right? So it was a different economy. It was a different marketplace. I would instead flip it on,
Starting point is 00:23:16 how can I go to my employer? and show my employer they can benefit from it. If one of my employees came to me and said, hey, Heather, I really want to lean into personal brand. Here's my thoughts. We're struggling to get interns. I'm making it up. And I've got this great audience that currently follows me
Starting point is 00:23:37 that's going to college. If I start creating content, start elevating my personal brand, sharing my voice, we all know people do business with people they know like a trust. I think I can help fill some spots with the internet. turns. I'm going to be over here like, yes. I wish everybody would do that. So flip it on how you can benefit your employer, flip it on how you can add value to your employer and share that as an innovative idea. Maybe let's test it with me and let's see how it goes. And maybe if it works,
Starting point is 00:24:04 we share it with the entire tea. So put your ideas that are great for you to work for the people you're collaborating with your employer and make it great for them too. And it's going to be very hard to say no to. Okay, again, the old playbook, work hard, keep your head down, stay in your lane, stay loyal to a company, and that is not the case anymore. Now it's work hard and become known for the work you're doing the outcome that you're providing and the people you're impacting. Stay portable.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Loyalty doesn't flow both ways. Know this. A new CEO can come in tomorrow. That happened to me. And you're out. The new team comes in. So it's not about you not being good. it's about situations outside of your control.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Marketplaces change. Layoffs occur. And again, companies, and I've sat in the C-Suite for a long time, companies make decisions based on numbers, not personalities, not your work ethic. So even though you did a great job and you gave up many weekends and missed many soccer games like this girl, it didn't matter in the end. And now I prioritize me. And the more I prioritize me, the more other people prioritize me and what I'm teaching.
Starting point is 00:25:13 So understand that. Think about the people you respect and the boundaries they have and the confidence they have. And let's start showing up with that best version of ourselves. Okay, here's what I've learned. It's easier that ever. I was scared to when AI headlines were, you know, really getting hot a year ago. And I started thinking, what if I'm going to get wiped out? What if I won't have opportunity like I do today? Here I am a year later. I'm using AI and I'm letting all these big contracts go that I used to, spend thousands of dollars a month on because I couldn't do the work myself. Now AI does it for me for $20 a month, $40 a month, a fraction of the price. So yes, AI is creating waves in the workplace, but it doesn't have to for you if you put it to work for you. So if you're a sales manager
Starting point is 00:26:04 in corporate America, oh my gosh, there's so many things I can teach you through automation, through your meetings. Make sure you're a Zoom recording every one-on-one you have. It will build its own file on each one of your sales reps for you. It will optimize it. It will email from you to check in to see if they close up. It will support you in ways you can't imagine as long as you think through it like a person and teach it through the frameworks that I'm teaching you. It will do your job for you to a large degree and then you come in and do the things that only you can do. All right. I'm sharing everything I've learned at the AI intensive. That Mindstone event, and again, I am not making money off this. I will just tell you,
Starting point is 00:26:39 Mindstone AI is the four-day event I went to in Stanford. I just got back the other day. They have another one coming up in Scotland in a month. If anyone's interested, I mean, it's expensive, but it is so worth it. It is a time commitment to you. I'm not going to lie. I'm happy to summarize it for everybody and share what I learned, but I think it's also great for people to experience something like that.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Okay, people pay a fortune to attend these events and learn, and we are going to get started on more of it now. Okay, confidence before brand. This is really key. You need to make the decision. whole hardly to jump in. And here's an analogy of friend of mine who's very successful gave me when I was starting out. I was not confident. I was a beginner, a rookie, uncertain. I didn't know if I was going to go back to corporate America or if I was going to stay trying
Starting point is 00:27:30 to work for myself, trying being the operative word. Like I wasn't full in. Now I know I'm not working for somebody else in my life. Like this is what I do. I didn't feel that strong when I started out. So who you surround yourself with is critical in these moments and who you ask for advice. We talked about this yesterday. Never take advice or direction from someone who hasn't been where you want to go. And so I was taking advice and direction from a very successful entrepreneur. And this is what he said to me. He said, Heather, I've known you a long time and I'm sitting here talking to you and I see you as doubting yourself. I see you as scared. And it was all true. I said, yeah. He said, what I really see, he said, picture this. It's like you have.
Starting point is 00:28:10 have one foot on one side of a river. The other foot, and picture this, like straddling, right? Like one foot is here and one foot is here. He said, you're straddling a river and you're not committed to either one. You have one foot back in corporate America because you're, that's what you've always known and you're scared to let go because that means you're stepping into unknown and that really scares you. But I want you to tell you something. He said, you're going to fail at both. You either need to make the decision to leap now or understand the world's going to pass you by. And I thought about it.
Starting point is 00:28:41 I can't be great if I'm just thinking about going to corporate America. And if I'm thinking about going to corporate America, all that energy is being sucked outside of me and it's not going towards this new business. Right. And so I finally decided. I said, I have to leap to one side. Am I just going to go all the way back in, start sending out resumes and apply for jobs in other industries in corporate?
Starting point is 00:28:59 Or am I just going to go all the way in? I had written my first book and start selling this book and think bigger than ever. And he said, yeah, and stop saying I want to sell. 50 copies, start saying, I want to sell 50,000, 500,000. And I said, you know what, you're right. And this is another way AI can help you because this happened this weekend. We were building these agents this weekend, which I'll explain later. And someone said to me, what are you building? And I said, I'm building my own platform and it's going to have digital avatar, me, and it's going to have quizzes and it's going to have workbooks. And I built it and it's killer.
Starting point is 00:29:32 And maybe you'll see it. It's amazing. But they said, okay, but why don't you put the video version remember yourself in there. Why don't you ask AI how you can get 100 million views on it? Why don't you ask AI how you can get 10 million people to attend it? And I wasn't thinking big enough. Right. So again, it's another way to step out of ourselves, ask the environment the team around us, how can we go bigger and go for more and then ask AI to build a plan to show us how to do it. And again, you don't have to do everything AI says, but it's a great way to make yourself think bigger and think of things you might not be considering. Okay. But confidence is really where it all starts. That's for sure.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Competence is not a personality trait. No, it's evidence built through action. And I also want you to know this. Competence can ebb and flow. So when I started doing this work, I was not competent at all. Then when my speaking took off, I got so confident. Then I was named top 40 female or top 20 female in 22. I don't remember what yours.
Starting point is 00:30:29 And it was a while ago. And I was killing it, killing it. But then COVID hit. And then I was not confident because I had to build a new business. and I didn't know what coaching was. Little did I know it's code for being a mentor, being a leader. I had been doing that for a long time.
Starting point is 00:30:43 So I reimagined the name. And then I felt confident again and I got results. So my whole life, as probably as anyone else who's had transitions, made changes, stepped into uncertainty, has been an ebb and flow of confidence. And it's about embracing that and saying, oh, when it dips, oh, yeah, I know what this feels like,
Starting point is 00:30:59 I got this. I can rebuild this. I have a 30-day plan for you to rebuild confidence. It's what I used when I got fired. I went from a one incompetence to a 10 in 30 days. And this plan works. It is, it's killer. And it works for everyone.
Starting point is 00:31:14 I've never not seen it work if people put it to work for them. Okay, mask-free experiences are the number one builder of belief. Small, brave acts compound. Speak up once. Post once. Ask once. And it always gets easier. We are a beginner first.
Starting point is 00:31:29 And then we build momentum like Donna is. Okay, 75% of people. top female executives have felt like imposters. Self-doubt means rote. So here's what I want you to know. The only way you can truly be an imposter is if you choose to show up as someone other than you. What's interesting is when I was in corporate, I would put a mask on every day. That fake mask because I worked alongside a lady that hated me.
Starting point is 00:31:54 I knew she hated me. She thought I was loud. She thought I was, you know, gregarious. She thought I was over the top. So I put a fake mask on. that's when I was actually being an imposter. Right? So I should have been suffering from imposter syndrome in those moments.
Starting point is 00:32:08 I wasn't or I didn't realize I was. The minute I took that mask off and showed up like this girl right here that you know now, like the real me, the more I attracted the right clients to me, the right romantic partners, the right business partners, the right friends. The more you show up as the real you, the more you attract the right opportunity and the more doors start opening for you. when you become that watered down version of yourself, you're wearing a mask, then you truly are an imposter.
Starting point is 00:32:36 So take the mask off, start showing up as you and realize everyone was a beginner at some point in time. Okay, write down one thing you've accomplished that you never talk about. And we talked about this yesterday, too. It's really important you start celebrating your wins. When you celebrate your wins, when you share them with a team,
Starting point is 00:32:53 when you share them in the school group, right? You're inspiring someone else. When I first met Donna, I don't know that she would have shared today all the momentum she's having, all the wind she's having. But I watched her confidence rise. I've watched her change in this version 2.0 of her that I knew she knows. I've got to share this stuff with you because it will inspire you guys that is possible for you. Again, it's not just me.
Starting point is 00:33:17 When you do these things and take these actions, you too will inspire others, motivate others, and show other people what's possible for them. Holding that back is evil. It's wrong. It's our job to make the world a better place, to show others what's possible. And that starts with you sharing your wins and inspiring others. So I want you to write that down. Put it in the school group. Put it in the chat. But feel proud of you. I get to feel proud all the time. And I'm so grateful for that because for a long time I didn't feel proud when I was wearing the mask, when I was trying to be quiet, when I was trying to be lesson, I come home and cry. And that wasn't a great role model for my son. But today, It's never too late. I'm proud that he see me struggle. He seen me get back up. And he saw me probably at graduation. But he knew.
Starting point is 00:34:07 He said, you're going to be fine, mom. I know you. You always bounce back. Let's start showing up with that person that says, oh, yeah, I know the bounce back. I've got the roadmap and I can do it. Oh, this is more pro-Heather feedback. This is just giving you other proof that's not just me.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Heather helped me turn the volume back up on my voice. She helped me turn the volume back up, take strategic action, claim the stage with confidence. This girl, actually, great story. She came to Saudi Arabia with me and spoke on the stage in Riyadh, and she killed it. A few months working with Heather and I landed a speak engagement in Saudi Arabia, followed by a TEDx, Michelle Machado, and she also wrote a book. So I'm super, super proud of her.
Starting point is 00:34:44 I can't see that next one because, I don't know, I can't see it, but I'm sure you guys can read that next one. Okay. Turn yesterday's three wins into proof what happened the situation, what did I do, what action did I take, and why did it matter? the impact. When our region lost its two biggest accounts, I rebuild the pipeline and we finish the year 12% over target. That is so powerful. And the more we start seeing that, seeing ourselves through rose-colored glasses, too often we put on rose-colored glasses when we look at someone else,
Starting point is 00:35:17 but we don't do when we look in the mirror. And that's what I'm asking you to do. And when you write things down, you're 90% more likely to remember them. So write this stuff down. If you don't have a gratitude journal and I'm proud. journal, get one nap because it changes the entire way that you think. It changes that you celebrate these things and that you feel proud about stepping into that better version of you, which is all I want for you guys. Okay, you already have a brand. Everybody has a personal brand. The key is, are you writing or did you give the pen over to someone else? And for a long time, I had given the pen to, you know, whatever anyone said after they walked out of a meeting with me. That was my brand. It was in the
Starting point is 00:35:57 hands of various people in various locations all around the world, I decided to start holding the pen and creating my personal brand and sharing who I really was, which is around different brand pillars. And you're all going to develop your own brand pillars. Mine were around confidence, empowering. It's the same stuff now that I was doing in corporate America. I wasn't as crystal clear on it. And the action steps are what built the confidence for me, what brought the clarity. And too often people think, I'll wait until I get clear. I'm stuck because I'm not clear. I'm waiting for permission.
Starting point is 00:36:31 No, that's all BS. It's all about the action steps, creates the confidence. Confidence is the receipts. Clarity is a receipts. So if you're in need of clarity, if you're in need of confidence, start taking those small steps today. Take the task that I'm giving you. Celebrate them in the group chat.
Starting point is 00:36:49 And I promise you, some of you can have an epiphany tonight like we heard earlier. And a guarantee within 30 days, you will have to keep doing the work. All right. One sentence does a heavy lifting right ears now. I help blank achieve blank so they can get what. So I'll do Heather Monahan. I help individuals achieve confidence so they can become the human. God put them on this earth to be.
Starting point is 00:37:16 I'm just making that up right now, but I do believe that. And so it doesn't matter if you're in corporate or if you're an entrepreneur. When I was a sales leader in corporate, I would say, I help my sales team achieve top line revenue goals so they can buy the things in their life that make them happy. That was my power statement back then, right? It's a little different now, again, about empowering people. So I want you to write that down. It's going to help give you clarity on something that you're great at, something that you're good at.
Starting point is 00:37:43 Hopefully it fires you up. But please take that step. Post your sentence in the chat. I'm reading these live. Okay. I help blank, do blank. so they can blink. Right, it doesn't need to be polished.
Starting point is 00:37:58 Done will always be better than perfect. An idea is planted on your mind. Let me tell you something. It's going to be planted on somebody else as if you don't activate it and take action against it. The majority of people in the world have great, incredible ideas
Starting point is 00:38:11 and do nothing with them. That is an epic fail. I always say this. I would rather be the woman who has a book out in the world with three mistakes that changes people's lives then the woman lying on her deathbed one day saying,
Starting point is 00:38:26 I had a perfect book inside me, but I never wrote it because I couldn't get it right. And that is true. My first book, Confidence Creator, which I self-published, has three mistakes in it. And people tell me about the three mistakes all the time. And I love it.
Starting point is 00:38:39 I'm like, oh, my God, but what did you think overall about the book? Thanks for catching those mistakes. Done will always be better than perfect. Write these out, get clear on you, and rock you. You're unique. You're different and be proud of that. each week.
Starting point is 00:38:57 When I was a C-suite executive, I led five major acquisitions, and the hardest part was never the deal. It was getting everyone working together afterward. New teams, new systems, new way of doing things. That's exactly what AI is doing to business right now. AI isn't just opening new business opportunities. It's changing the way businesses get work done. The questions they ask, decisions they make,
Starting point is 00:39:17 and the routine tasks that they can hand off. That's the idea behind NetSuite Next, the next generation of the business management, suite trusted by over 44,000 companies with AI woven into every tool you already rely on. I didn't understand this either when I first started out. I thought, how can I empower others but teach around sales and sales leadership? Because that's what I've always done. How can I speak about confidence? Because that's my first book and people.
Starting point is 00:42:05 You can do it all under the umbrella of your brand. It doesn't have to just be one thing. Or you can do all the things that you're great at and bring all them forward in different mediums, in different ways to different options. to different audiences. It doesn't just have to be one way because that's the way you always didn't. The vertical bar won deep expertise
Starting point is 00:42:24 where you command a premium value, a horizontal bar, broad experience that makes you relatable and versatile, and depth-filled authority first. Breath expands upon it later. Specialist command premiums, specialists in AI skills, earn a 56% wage premium,
Starting point is 00:42:41 PWC. So, you know, leaning into technology can just help you make more money. It can help make you more a valuable asset in corporate or as an ROI in your own business. AI is the best thing that happened to personal branding and to anyone living in this day and age. Start celebrating it and also understand this.
Starting point is 00:42:59 I was in San Fran. In different places in this country, you'll see AI's taken over. There was a legit robot making coffee, not like a, you know, press a button, a robot with an arm and turning and waving to people. In different parts of the country, AI has completely taken over. It's every billboard in San Fran. I am in Miami, which is a tech hub now, and it still didn't even hold a candle
Starting point is 00:43:24 to what's already happened in San Fran. So know this. The wave is coming to wherever you are. It's already here. As we mentioned yesterday, 80% of citizens in this country aren't even using AI anywhere near what the potential is. So getting that 20%, and I'm bringing you along with me. All right, AI makes generic content free and infinite.
Starting point is 00:43:43 Attention now flows to the authentic, credible real, you. And that comes from your personal stories. Fifty-six percent wage premium for people who combine AI fluency with visible expertise. AI cannot be you. It doesn't have stories. It doesn't have your real humanity. It can help you bring your humanity forward scale. That's what's exciting. Okay, this is feedback on some of Darcy that I work with who went from 375 followers to 4,100 followers in one quarter. So when you get the message clear, when you're at and stay consistent. The biggest fail I see with people is they come in and they can bounce out.
Starting point is 00:44:22 One of my clients called me the other day. And I said, what do you mean you're not finding clients right now? You haven't been showing up online. What do you think they're going to remember? No, if I disappear tomorrow, they'll remember for a little while. They're going to forget that noise in their head will get filled by somebody else. We live in a noisy world. And my whole background is in sales and sales marketing.
Starting point is 00:44:43 I was in the media business for 20-something years. people need to hear a message a minimum seven times. This is fat in order to act on it. So I need you to be consistent with your messaging, consistent with posting, consistent with taking action. That's how you start building success. It doesn't happen by chance.
Starting point is 00:45:01 You're already in sales. Everybody is in sales. In any exchange, one person is sold, the other person is not. And so have fun with it. I'm going to try to sell my son on taking the trash out tonight. I started noticing with him. him, if I tell him how grateful I am once he does it and praise him for the behavior I want,
Starting point is 00:45:21 he's starting to do it more and more. So now I just leave the trash next to the door and I don't do it. Before, for a long time, I was just doing it and complaining about it. So you start to see the person that you're working with and what they respond to. Seals is a game. Make it fun. Okay. So everybody's in sales.
Starting point is 00:45:37 Start making it fun. Start testing and trying and start paying attention to when you're sold and when someone's selling you that you didn't notice and when you're selling someone else. So first it starts with intention. Most people are a non-selling situation. Someone's an accountant. They think they're not selling because they're collecting money. You're still selling the person on the other end of the phone
Starting point is 00:45:55 if they're going to pay you or pay another bill. Right? So everybody's in sales. Start embracing it and start making it work for you. Not asking has a compounding price tag. We talked about the Ben Franklin earlier. Do you do you make a favor? I'm always trying to think, oh, what, you know,
Starting point is 00:46:10 what one thing could I ask that person for that, you know, could be of value? And you know what? oftentimes they're going to say, thanks so much for asking me for that. I love to help you. Right? So if you're a person out there giving to others, supporting others, encouraging others, and you ask someone for a favor, they're probably going to really appreciate that you ask
Starting point is 00:46:27 them. Don't decide for someone else. It's a terrible thing to do to make an assumption about somebody else and what they're going to say. Always give people the opportunity and ask for what you want. When did you last ask for exactly what you were worth? Right down the last time that you made the full ask, not accepting the signal. offer, right? Going for that full
Starting point is 00:46:47 ass and holding strong on it. And then when did you settle? I just gave you the Cigna one, which the AI pointed out to me. What is the gap between those numbers? And that is your invisibility tax, right? So hoping ourselves to close those gaps, becoming aware of them, no one's perfect.
Starting point is 00:47:03 We're going to get better at it. We're going to close them. And there's different strategies we can implement to ensure we get paid what we're worth. But if we don't see our value and what we're worth, nobody else is going to. So it starts with your confidence. Write your value statement. I help blank, move from blank to blank. Right? And so this is about sales is a lot about activating pain points for people,
Starting point is 00:47:22 what they're struggling with, helping people say, I see you. I do that by getting people to empty their glass to me. And then once they do that, talking through what the outcome is that they're looking for. And when you can do that through story, through example, you can help people move from their pain to the ideal outcome and result that they want. And that's where selling is helping. There's so many different income streams with a personal brand. It's unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:47:46 I still can't believe the opportunities that are out there. Once you elevate yourself, allow people to get to know like and trust you because people do business with people. They know like and trust. And once you raise your hand and put yourself out there, you will attract those right opportunities. There's everything from speaking, speaking on panels, consulting companies, online education, which is what we're doing now, sponsorship deals, white label partnerships, you know, know affiliate partnerships. There's so many different things out there.
Starting point is 00:48:16 I'm constantly being presented opportunities and then allow those opportunities to come to you and then you'll decide what is the right opportunity for you. Take the mask off. I promise you this. When you take the mask off and show up as that flawed, imperfect version of yourself, that's when people really feel connected to you
Starting point is 00:48:33 and that's when people start to trust you. I remember I work with a woman who acted like she was perfect all the time. Nobody's perfect. She created distance. and space between herself and the team. I showed up as the flawed version of me and people gravitated and it felt closer to me because people feel flawed.
Starting point is 00:48:51 63% remember stories, only 5% remember statistics. We talked about this yesterday. I always want you to remember stories sell, facts tell, stick to the stories. When all three pillars fire together, everything changes. This is another one of my past clients. It gave me the push I needed to confidently step onto stages and own my voice.
Starting point is 00:49:11 I built a clear polished brand that truly reflects who I am. It's more than a mastermind. She was in my mastermind. It's a community that lifts you up and challenges you. So again, back to it's not just me teaching things. Yes, I'll teach you everything I know. And yes, you're going to learn a lot that you're going to be able to apply to make you better, your brand, better your business better. But it's more than that.
Starting point is 00:49:32 It's holding yourself accountable. It's borrowing the momentum from the team, borrowing the confidence from the team when you need it and supporting one another. No one succeeds alone. And that includes me. 30% of personal brands are killed by these mistakes. Starting with platforms instead of your identity. What should I post versus who am I and get real with that? That's really important. Starting with the competence, starting with owning your own voice, taking that mask off, waiting for permission. Forget permission. No one is coming down to annoy you permission granted.
Starting point is 00:50:01 I'll give it to you right now. Permission has been granted. Do whatever you want, rock you. And number three, trying to do it alone without feedback, without accountability, without direction. that does not work. Okay, so we talked about this. You can pour concrete before you have a blueprint. So I will share that blueprint with you on how to create that confidence, how to step into rocking your authority and who you are. No one is coming to give me permission.
Starting point is 00:50:25 Everyone's waiting for the green light. I got it. I did that for 10 years in corporate. It never came. Here's a newsflash. You give yourself the green light. Trying to do it alone. That is the worst.
Starting point is 00:50:35 I wanted to start running races. So I didn't read a book about it. I joined a run club, right? So I had people that were waiting for me at the crack of dawn every morning. And suddenly I was running at the crack of dawn every morning. Clearly I didn't today because I went too late. I ran by myself. It's easier to fail yourself than it is to fail the team around you.
Starting point is 00:50:56 We all feel that level of commitment and accountability that ultimately we all need. So when you want to make some changes, find a team that's running at the speed that you want to run at and start running with them like us right here. Okay, this is the best time to implement these things that I'm teaching. So don't just listen, please take action like Donna shared with you. The only way to create change is to actually act on this. Turn your hit and wins into confidence, evidence, a real proof behind your value. Not just a polished resume. We can all get a polished resume now because we all have plot and chat GPT.
Starting point is 00:51:28 And I told you the prompt to use to make sure you have the best resume. And we can rewrite your LinkedIn profile. We can do all of these things and tasks. And yes, we need to. They're all super important. and they're going to make you feel super proud of who you are. But the real proof is turning your hidden wins into that confidence evidence and really putting those rose-colored glasses on when you look at yourself.
