Starting point is 00:00:33 Spider-Man. This July... We're faced with a threat. That can be anyone. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker. I'm just a neighbor. Friendly neighbor. But he hasn't forgotten them.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing. That's my responsibility. Talk to Banner? I didn't know you could get that big. Spider-Man, brand-new day. In theaters, July 31st. Today, we haven't done a little creep TV in a while, So we're doing the creep TV on a series.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Isaiah wanted to show me called Gemini Home Entertainment. Right. There's a just Gemini. Right. Right. It's Gemini home. Well, a lot of people call it Gemini, but the full name is Gemini Home Entertainment.
Starting point is 00:01:33 So as a lot of you guys probably know, the backrooms, my boy Kane knocked it out of the park. I'm sure a bunch of you have seen it at this point. I've blown away by, you know, how successful it is, very happy for the dude. But watching his stuff,
Starting point is 00:01:47 I would never give him that satisfaction again. I gave it to him one time, so why would I, you know, let it happen a second time? But I thought it was interesting. We, well, I was just to say we watched, we both watched the movie. And it was a thing where we were like, oh, we could do a creep TV. But then we're, you're kind of talking about some of the older, not that, not that I would say, uh, backrooms is like analog horror. But it's like it found footage, kind of like that lost media vibe. And then just made us talk about Greylock a little bit.
Starting point is 00:02:12 And then inevitably, we were talking about Local 58. And then you're like, actually, I think Jim and I would be a fun thing to watch. just is something that's like in the same spirit. And we just got done watching this. So we're kind of in, we've been talking about it a lot. So I think there'd be a fun thing to chat about today. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:26 And also like, Hunter's fun to show this stuff because he's like completely unfamiliar with all the stuff I grew up with. And I'm like intimately familiar. It's one of the coolest things about creepcast is because I can show Hunter all these stories that I've known for years. And it's his, I get to see someone experience it for the first time,
Starting point is 00:02:42 which is always funny. Seeing that the first upload was on, I mean, in 2020. It's crazy that it's just these stuff was coming out the same. time that like we were starting our channels too and I just it's just like it's like revisiting a shooting star where it's like oh I just totally missed that when it passed by the first time yeah which also I am like a litter I'm illiterate when it comes to all these like little online
Starting point is 00:03:01 horror stuff so I just yeah it's so new to it's just because like your content was so like its own thing you were fought you were following rabbit holes that I'd never heard of but like this area this was my jam like the first videos on my channel or me talking about series like this. I think the first upload whenever I decided I wanted to take YouTube seriously was a local 58 analysis. I remember editing that YouTube video where I set in a dingy room, as I say dingy, in a small room in my parents' house like up against the corner and I just had a candle and I just lit it with that and filmed on my iPhone and talked into a blue Yeti mic that was plugged into a computer into my laptop. And I remember editing that when I was supposed to
Starting point is 00:03:48 be studying for a test in the library at my college. And I was staying at the library to like 9 p.m. because I knew that the library had better Wi-Fi than I did at home so I could upload quicker. And I remember skipping class, spending the whole day editing on my laptop in the library, uploading. And I remember like after an hour, it had 50 views. And I was like, wow. 50 people clicked on this video. It's always such an exciting thing. when you first are going. You're just like 50 people somewhere, it's all this. It's almost more.
Starting point is 00:04:23 It's at the beginning stages, it really is like the most magical time. Yeah. Well, I mean, like, it's all so new. And like as like people click on videos and as people are watching, you think about each and I still think about each individual, but you know,
Starting point is 00:04:39 with time, you just get numb to anything. So I think about then. I remember there were a couple comments. They're like, oh, this is good. You know, oh,
Starting point is 00:04:46 just found this channel. And being like, wow. They just found my channel. So I've been very intimately familiar with all this stuff and all the creators of it for a long time. So but Hunter doesn't know any of this stuff. So initially I was like, let's do Local 58. But honestly, and I love Local 58, Chris Stroud, you know, The Goat, Candlecove we've covered here, love his stuff.
Starting point is 00:05:07 But if you ask me, the best rendition of the local broadcasting network, small town infomercial thing is Jim and I Home Entertainment. I think it just takes the formula and does it a little bit better. I think some of the scares are more effective. I think Remy Abode really knocked this series out of the park. And when I covered Gemini on the YouTube channel, it was a few uploads ago. So there's going to be some stuff in here that I haven't talked about publicly before. So it's good for me to cover. And it's also nostalgic because like this is one of the earliest videos I did on my channel covering
Starting point is 00:05:44 local Gemini Home Entertainment and it's got over 5 million views now. So, you know, if you watched it, that means a lot. I really appreciate all the support, especially when I was starting off. But Hunter, like I said, doesn't know any of it. So I want him to experience it today. And if you were interested in us talking about the backrooms a bit, we talk about it on our Patreon, along with reading a liminal horror story, SCP, uh, extra episode. SEP 87. We did that in our Patreon bonus episodes. So if you're interested in getting a little more content, feel free to go over there and support the Patreon. It does help. Or if you're
Starting point is 00:06:16 listening to this on YouTube right now, consider listening to episodes on Spotify or Apple podcast. It does help and there should be video there as well. So if you're looking for another alternative, that's a great way to help us out as there. It's give us a nice rating there too. Now let me ask you this. Before we
Starting point is 00:06:32 dive super into it, is analog, is analog horror the same stuff that we've watched in the past with the creepcast thing that we've done so far are the the slender man the uh why can i think of the fucking name i said the empty man that's not that's not what we that's not what it's called right no it's called fucking what you're you're talking about the the slender man series marble hornets got it got it got it got it got it marble hornets we've done
Starting point is 00:07:02 gray lock and then we've done is that pretty is that is that it just those two no we've done more stuff on creep tv we did uh urban spook oh and we remember. Well, yeah. Oh, yeah, Urban Spook. And then we did Mid-Wed, or we did the Angelica. Midwest Angelica. Yeah. We did.
Starting point is 00:07:22 That should be about it. Hold on. I feel like there's a couple we're forgetting right now. Hold on. Did that, Urban Spook. We did. Oh, we have a playlist for it. Well, isn't that convenient. Uh, username 666.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Oh, yeah. One where we looked at the, uh, the scary Japanese channel. Love that one. Yeah. Um, no. Okay, that is it. That's the only one missing. I was saying, why don't we haven't done, we haven't done creep TV a lot, but I was just to say,
Starting point is 00:07:46 Greylock is, is, is, is, is great lock, like an analog horror kind of thing? Yes. Yeah, absolutely. Very similar format. So it's, so let me ask you this then, because I know that there's also things we haven't covered like, uh, what is the other one? There's like another big analog horror one that was really big during this time met, Mandela catalog. Mandela catalog. Yeah. There's that was, was the pandemic just the time to do this kind of kind of like is it still alive and strong today or was it just like kind of a flash in the pan so what i think it was so analog horror really kicked off and there's some earlier like one-off instances but local 58 was really what started turning the gears for a lot of people um and
Starting point is 00:08:28 chris draub a bunch of his stuff is based in like small town tv network showing suspicious things like he did Candle Cove, right? Like the kids watch the TV show and they think it's they think they're watching a kid's show but they're actually just looking at static. So a lot of his stuff was already kind of in that realm. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:48 So then when he does Local 58, that's about like this broadcasting network that actually some Eldritch entity is manipulating the stuff that's happening. That kind of turned to switch in a lot of people's heads to be like, oh, this is creepy. I can do something with it.
Starting point is 00:09:05 Then everyone started doing like these infomercial style things where some entity wants you to know that there's something, like something's coming, something's going to get you, whatever. So there's like Jim and I, Mandela catalog started there with its first couple entries, but then it kind of became its own like mixed media horror project. The backroom's cane stuff was its own thing.
Starting point is 00:09:29 That guy, I feel like he was made in a lab somewhere to just build whatever he's building that. that you can see the only real connection between that two analog core is like the literal analog camera format but it's found footage more than it is this stuff yeah it's definitely a phone i was gonna say but i think that it's it's it's interesting it's just kind of like how it's just how the fucking planet's align man where it's like i'd be curious to see i mean like don't wrong i think it would still be big but i think because this like analog craze was so big and popular with people i think it was easier for people also to latch on to the backroom's thing and be like oh this is a
Starting point is 00:10:02 fun iteration of this other thing that I like, you know? It's just like it's the perfect storm of like mixing all this other shit that you're doing. So just really interesting. And the production value is just insane. You know, like I mean, fully rendering stuff and blender and stuff versus a lot of this stuff. No shade to any of the other analog stuff. But it is very simple and, you know, it's very approachable. And how people make it.
Starting point is 00:10:24 That's why I think like the benefit to a lot of it was like Alex Kister made the first Mandela, Mandela catalog video from his phone. Like he just got on a phone editor and like put the stuff together. I think it's awesome. To make it work. And then later on he, you know, used the platform to do more stuff.
Starting point is 00:10:41 But the fact that it was that approachable to a lot of people is what I think kicked off a lot of people's ideas around the genre. And then from there people started to make it more complicated. Like there's some stuff I'll talk about in Jim and I today where they kind of broke the mold. But you are right that in COVID, everyone's locked up. And then like local 508. and stuff like that starts going around to where so many people are like, now is the perfect time for me to learn how to make this.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which I feel like a lot of us were kind of doing, right? We're just stuck inside. I mean, that's when I started YouTube, right? Yeah, I mean, I, like, if I was on, I think, like, COVID, my channel had just blown up or like, has, like, had been going to where I could do it full time or whatever. So it was, it was definitely just everybody's at home wanting to watch shit and just, like,
Starting point is 00:11:26 make stuff and do whatever. So it was just, uh, yeah, it was a blur. I really. And, and I'm not, I'm not. I have to clarify, I'm not saying it's worth it. Not saying it was a good trade because people died. Not saying that. However,
Starting point is 00:11:37 I do not think I would be where I am now if it wasn't for the lockdown. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Because everyone's stuck inside. Like all the channel views blew up and stuff like that. Yeah. Now that's a good thing. That's a good thing.
Starting point is 00:11:49 I'm going to let him die on this. I'm going to let him die on this. I'm not going to. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've been seeing people say that they wanted to. One of those good with the bad kind of scenario.
Starting point is 00:12:00 What's weird is. I feel like people are romanticizing that time now too to where it's like I've been seeing a lot of like online discussions being like man what I wouldn't fucking give just to have another pandemic to where I could just like be inside or whatever it's it's it's it's it's very interesting how people perceive that stuff or that time and also it's crazy to think that it's been like five years now since it's like been done since the lockdown's been done or whatever yeah it feels like it was forever 21 whatever uh or is it that's when like it was totally like it was totally like it was totally that's when like it was totally. totally taken off. A lot of places were kind of relaxing end of 2020, early 2021 kind of area. Because it started, the outbreak started end of 2019. And it was like the beginning of 2020 when like the nationwide or worldwide lockdowns really started up. Yeah. Because there was a few months of kind of like, aha, what's going on? It's such a fucking blur. Such a blur. Such a blur. That whole time period. All right. Well, I mean, without further ado, I'd say just let's let's jump into it. Let me tell you this.
Starting point is 00:13:01 So you actually, you enjoy this. I know whenever we did, we've talked about some things that people love. Some people are like, eh, I don't know. Is this something that is like a pretty universally love thing? Or does it have its detractors as well? I mean, there's people who. The only reason I say that is just because I feel like when we covered urban spook, there was a lot of people who were just like, don't cover that.
Starting point is 00:13:22 So I don't know. Yeah, I hear you. I hear you. So urban spook was that way because of like people took, issue with a lot of the subject matter, like the stuff involving kids and urban spook. Redacted baby. One of my favorite things ever is redacted baby.
Starting point is 00:13:40 A lot of stuff like that, right? Urban spook was super like exploitative and the creator knew what he was doing with it. He would make tweets all the time where he's like, yeah, it's supposed to be like watching a mortal combat fatality. It's like over the top for a reason. So there are a bunch of people at issue with it.
Starting point is 00:13:58 I don't know anyone who likes, analog whore who has a problem with Gemini. All right. Like it's pretty, it's one of the standards in the genre. I should know if I was what I'm walking myself into, which I don't want to, I don't want to spoil too much, but I just didn't know if it's going to be a thing once again
Starting point is 00:14:11 where we have redacted baby or we have. No, this, I know, I think man and poop pipe or or something. I'll put it. I'll put it this way. When you watch this, I think it will kind of explain a lot of the hype that we had for it.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Okay. So, all right. For the whole genre. All right. Well, what's the first, what's the first entry called? The first one's world's weirdest animals. But before we do that, you said there was, you were saying you saw this girl right before we started recording. And then you wanted to tell the story in the recording. What was the context around what we were talking about before? We were talking about the thing you're making. That's right.
Starting point is 00:14:49 The, uh, I saw this girl online. Uh, I was just going to say, I, it was like probably one of the most well done tattoos I've seen, but it was smile dog. It's like one of the best smile dog tattoos I've ever said. I meant to send it to you, but it is fucking incredible. I was to say, if I could, if I could find it, I'll have to put it up here. But shout out that. It made me be like, fuck man, I need to get a creepy pasta tattoo. It was really, really good.
Starting point is 00:15:09 I really enjoyed it. It was so sick. Yeah, it had the big teeth. Like, yeah. Full, full round circle moment for this podcast. If you start out like Jeff the what, the who? And then you just get like a bunch of creepy pasta tattoo.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Would you get, would you get a slender man tattoo or would you get a Jeff the killer tattoo? if you had to go like OG Slender I think slender You'd get slender Well no no because then There's so many people who just associate slender With the stabbing
Starting point is 00:15:38 That I guess it sounds crazy But I guess Jeff the killer is the safer option The killer I never thought that we'd hear that I would probably do Jeff the killer too I think it would just be a very funny tattoo I'd want to get on my inner thigh Jeff the killer
Starting point is 00:15:57 Just looking up at you the old time. Yeah, exactly. Bounce around next to all my other meat and jibbles down there. Okay. All right. All right. As soon as you said in our thought, I knew we'd get there at some point. Okay.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Well, without further ado, Hunter, did you say thank you, patrons? Thank you, patrons. Thank you, guys. I was just saying that with the first title being World's Weirdest Animals, I would say, give me your best like David Attenborough. Impression for World's Weirdest Animals.
Starting point is 00:16:27 I'm trying to remember. what David Attenborough sounds like. The fish swim in the pods along the dolphin. I can't do impressions to save my life. It's the world's weirdest animals. There you go. See, you know it. It's the world.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Or you can do it. There will be text that appears on screen. It's the world's weirdest animals. That's more like a Warner or Herzog kind of thing. I love to watch Jim and I home entertainment at my home. There's some text that's going to appear on screen. Why don't you give it? it you're David Attenborough.
Starting point is 00:17:00 The text is on screen? That's about to come up. Oh, okay. Okay. All right. Well, episode one, world's weirdest animals. Jim and I.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Home Entertainment. The earth. World's weirdest animals. Real Minnesota. Pause it. Looks like a man's face, doesn't it? Like this.
Starting point is 00:17:27 His brow up here, his little nose and his lips. Yeah, this chin. I agree. I see the vision. I can see the vision. Watching this right now, by the way, is like a huge nostalgic trip.
Starting point is 00:17:40 I've not watched this in a while. This is like... Wilkin County. This is a big moment. Oh, yeah. It's beautiful. Animal number one. What's it here?
Starting point is 00:17:54 What are they thinking? What's a weird animal? God damn, the audio is... A greater prairie chicken. Greater Prairie chicken than just like a fucking super collider going on in the background. Native to Central North America, greater prairie chickens are well known for their prominent air sacs and protruding ear-like feathers.
Starting point is 00:18:22 That is weird, huh? These birds often engage in necking, a form of mating ritual. The males utilize their air sacs to impress females. Isn't he honking cute? During the winter, great prairie chickens have been observed diving into snow to see. stay warm. How weird! Clay County. Animal number two. Look at that little son of a bitch's weird skinny legs. I don't think the text said that. I don't think David Appboro would ever call an owl of that. Once found all over America's, this small clitor is now far more elusivey. As their name suggests,
Starting point is 00:19:46 these owls create large burrows for their nest instead of creating ones in trees. Tell you what, the music is a vibe though, huh? Buhraigows like to live in prairies in open fields, where they can use old squirrel or badger holes for their nest. I have a feeling we're gonna look, we're gonna see animal death very soon. I don't know you're talking about. Everywhere. God damn, turn the Super Collider down. Turn it down!
Starting point is 00:20:28 What? Animal number three! Sounds like fucking Subalba's Podracer. God damn, dude. Wood crawlers. Found all over North America, these animals are excellent hunters, being able to tread most terrain without making a sound. The preferred nesting locations are inside the homes of
Starting point is 00:21:21 large families, whereas large swarms can adapt easier. You will hear screaming. Got damn sea lion out there. They stole their voices. Burn the bodies, lest they stand up again. Nature's mockery. That's fun.
Starting point is 00:22:07 Yeah, I love that shot. Man, it still works so well. The homie's bugging out, dude. He's standing there like, he's kind of hitting that shit a bit. Ooh, do it to him. Do it to him. Why the fuck is this guy walk around this house? This is me standing outside my son's room when I've had like six or seven drinks.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Just biting. Aged, I'm gonna fucking kill you. I'm going to kill you. Fake people. fake people. He's standing outside my son's room. Go to your room. Okay, Daddy.
Starting point is 00:24:05 Daddy, I've returned. I say, go to your room! Alright, I'll go to my room now. Just walking back and forth. Don't pop up close to the window. You're too close to the window! He's gonna pop out and scare you! Hey, who the fuck is that?
Starting point is 00:24:50 What the fuck do you expect to happen? No, when you're that close. When you're that fucking close to the window with a giant-ass camera. Oh my God, these guys are actually fucking weird. Yeah, back away from the window. Jim and I. So that's the first one. That's what kicked off the whole series.
Starting point is 00:25:16 So it seems like he's saying that there's these creatures that are basically like imitating humans. Right? Yes. Yeah. Well, the wood crawlers, right? It says that large nests get in. homes and assimilate the families. So they're in there like learning to be people and mimicking
Starting point is 00:25:31 them and stuff like that. Yeah. The two first birds were both kind of paralleling what the monster does. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah. This is what I would, which I'm sure it'll say it. But in these things, I'm always, whenever I watch these, I'm always just like, why the fucking skulking around? First off, you're in Minnesota. You're just outside this guy's house. Like, oh my God. With the camera with the camera looking in. Jeez Louise. Okay. This is, uh-oh. I would, I was, I feel like I just, I would have a little bit of footage. I'd be like, that's all I need. And I'd run off.
Starting point is 00:26:01 You know what I mean? What am I skulking around for? Goodbye. Also, I like the kid coming up and being like, hello, Daddy. I'm back. Get out of here. Okay, good. Hello.
Starting point is 00:26:11 Hello, father. I'm right. Yeah, 100% though, that guy, uh, like basically fitting into his own face or whatever. That is 100% me, uh, just outside. Outside my son's room, just screaming silently. realize how you fucking ruined my life. Dad, I can hear you. Look at this Jeff the killer tattoo.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Go to sleep. Exactly. You see that? It's on your inner side, dad. Stop. Daddy's flexible. I'm like doing the full splits right in front of them. Try to call me slim gym.
Starting point is 00:26:51 All right. Next one. What's the next one? Next one. Next one, storm safety tips. Storm safety tips. Is this going to be? is every time is this going to be a thing where it's like storm safety tips and it's like uh you know
Starting point is 00:27:04 be sure to watch her rain and the next one's a guy just like peeping in on a woman who's just like like i don't know eating her fingers or something like that these people can't swim without fingers or something so is it going to be like that is that pretty much the gist every time the first the first couple are like that the first two or three all right where it's like here's a normal infomercial setup then it changes all right it's time to talk about something scary you're health. I know I don't go in the doctor as much as I should. If I'm feeling sick, I'll just lie in bed and sleep it away. Starting point is 00:30:43 mean a lot. Thank you to Cash App for sponsoring the show. Their link will be in the description, and we are now back to the episode. Storm safety tips. Brought to you by Harbing's Technologies. Storms can be violent and dangerous. In this cassette, you would learn how to protect you and your family when a severe storm hits your home. Part 1. Prepare in advance.
Starting point is 00:31:12 You do not want to get caught in a storm unprepared. To prepare your home in case of a storm, follow these steps. Step 1. Reinforce your home. This may involve improving structural support, replacing roof shingles, or fixing any possible leaks. Step 2. Install an early warning system. This will allow you to know beforehand of a storm or another dangerous approaching your home. recommended alibato alarm for harbidge technologies. Step three, create a storm bunker.
Starting point is 00:31:43 Make sure the bunker matches the following measurements. 10 feet by 18 feet. Create concrete foundation at least eight inches thick. That's eight inches. Which is well above average and it'll hurt her. In the cinch of your bunker, install large aluminum hemispheres. Fort of five feet. Place short,
Starting point is 00:32:08 wave radio next to hemisphere, we recommend the timber radio for harbidge technologies. Within four to five feet. Still well above average. Yeah, five feet. Only turn on radio in the event of an emergency. Part two. What do during a storm? In the event that a storm hits your home, it is important to follow these steps. Stip won't. Quietly take your family to your bunker. Your home does not belong to you now. Step two. Turn on shortwave radio. Ignore all sound produced by the radio.
Starting point is 00:32:58 These are auditory hallucinations. Why did I turn it on? Why did I turn on? Remain calm. Why did I turn on the radio if it's hallucin? Your tears are filled with salt. What? What? What?
Starting point is 00:33:14 What? What? What are you talking about it? Part three after a storm. If you believe the storm has passed, carefully leave your bunker to for damages. If your house has been severely damaged, check for movement inside. Do you hear the chime? You are safe. The storm has passed over. Look to the field. Do you see lights? Return to your bunker. You're about ready to be turned into chunky butter.
Starting point is 00:33:54 Lisson. Under your feet. They killed the last narrator. Crawling through the floor. Congratulations. You are now equipped to defend you and your family against the storms. All right. That is storm safety.
Starting point is 00:34:49 So this is fun. So basically saying that in Minnesota, is it just Minnesota? Well, it says all over. And the first one is said that they're found all over North America. Yeah. But in this case, I mean, it's just to say since the first thing we saw was Minnesota, those counties and it said everywhere. I'm just going to assume that we're just still staying in the,
Starting point is 00:35:05 like this local broadcast is for like a Minnesota town. And I like that they've made like, weird sirens and shit like that. Shocking lack of a man screaming at child through door. So that one wasn't as good as the first one. But I still think. Kind of a loss.
Starting point is 00:35:20 Also, it's a fun little thing of doing like storm safety tips, but it's a different, it's a storm you don't expect. That's fun. Yeah. It's more like a swarm. It's more like a ton of these things taking over your home and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:35:32 Again, like within the analog core, which these first few are definitely standardized, but you'll see, like I said, it breaks the mold as we go on. but a lot of them are based around the idea there's a local broadcasting network that's either been taken over by something or people within the network
Starting point is 00:35:45 are trying to warn people about what's coming. So it's kind of like you get your storytelling off of just that. What's the most absurd thing that can still be scary? Like on paper, it seems ridiculous but it would still be very frightening in one of these series.
Starting point is 00:36:02 You know what I mean? On paper, absolutely ridiculous. You hear it and you're like, what? But then if you saw it practically, you'd be like, actually that is, that's horrifying what would it be actually i think probably an example of something that sounds goofy in concept but is actually pretty freaky is the walton files do you know about it no so the walton files hold on i'll pull this up for reference real quick the walton files i mean it's
Starting point is 00:36:28 clearly based off five nights of freddies right okay like the idea around it is like animatronics like in an old um where's an example like most of most of the early parts of it look like this where it's like it's like just hand drawn like you know it's very five nights of Freddy's like oh these animatronics kill people and stuff like that
Starting point is 00:36:50 but the way Martin Walls draws some of these scenes is actually the way Martin Walls draws these characters a lot of the times like this like very goofy children's animation and the whole concepts around like these abandoned animatronics kill people
Starting point is 00:37:04 and you're like yeah I mean it's like you know how scary could it be right kind of thing every now then. I'll be watching this thing. There will be sometimes like in some creepy segments you'll get, where's that one of
Starting point is 00:37:18 Bond looking around? He'll get stuff like this. It's like, well, that's a little like the human teeth feature and stuff like that. It's like, that's a little unsettling. But then he'll do he'll do art randomly. It's like, where's the one where it kills them where, yeah, they'll be walking
Starting point is 00:37:34 around with flashlights. And it's like, well, that's a bit more. This is a bit more menacing than a kid's cartoon like the face standing there stuff like that but then he'll do these these little like mixed action things like there's one where it'll be shots like this
Starting point is 00:37:50 and then this is the example I'm thinking of but there's one where it's like human eyes and they're looking around and then it'll hard cut to like someone getting killed so you see the dots of the eyes and then it comes on and it kills them and it'll show like
Starting point is 00:38:06 to describe someone's face getting contorted inside of it it just shows like a 3D glimpse of like the face being shoved up into the mask and stuff like that. I think that's a series that like the parts of it sound goofy in practice, but they work together when they're played out together. And also the story of Walt Files is interesting between like what started them and all that stuff. So that's that's an example. So what would you think?
Starting point is 00:38:32 What would you think is the goofiest thing that could still work? I don't know. I was thinking like what like thinking of like the like these shape shifting people or whatever here. You know, I was trying to think of like an alien species that like steals our nipples, but doesn't realize that we have formula. So it's trying to stop us from reproducing and feeding our babies, but they actually just come in and steal your nipples. I think on paper,
Starting point is 00:38:52 it seems stupid, but I think practically an alien coming in and like peeling off your nipple in a way where it doesn't, it's not like ripping it off. It peels it to where then you're just your titty or your chest has like, it's just flat. I think that'd be very uncanny. The nipple stealers? I think like that would actually be kind of.
Starting point is 00:39:10 frightening. And their whole objective is they're trying to starve the youth of the world. So we can't repop. We can't reproduce. I can't, I can't wait for you to get a studio budget one day. Does that not sound good? Yeah, like, imagine this kind of thing. Home fucking entertainment, the fucking, you know, the super colliders going on the background. It's just like, watch your nipples. You know, like, be sure to wear three layers or shirts. You wake up and you just hear like, whatever.
Starting point is 00:39:43 Wake up and your kidney's gone or your nipples gone. That would be, look, I'm in agreement with you. That would be pretty frightening. Or if it was a species that was, yeah, it was like trying to stop people from reproducing.
Starting point is 00:39:54 That's how they kill. They don't murder people, but they take out the reproductive organs. That'd be kind of cool. Like aliens that are castrating men or they're taking out women's wombs. Wouldn't that be kind of fucking weird? No, no.
Starting point is 00:40:05 I mean, it would be weird. That'd be pretty fucking. He's like, what? It's like you're one of the few that still's able to bear a child. You have to save humanity. That would be pretty weird.
Starting point is 00:40:14 That would be pretty weird. I'm not going to. Or actually, I had a dream one time when I was younger. You know, I was really afraid of. Oh, my gosh. I was had a dream when I was younger
Starting point is 00:40:22 that there was like a silver man who would break a thermometer in my mouth and poison me with mercury. That was like a big thing. I was afraid of when I was younger. The silver, I can't tell my mom, I'm dreaming of the silver man again.
Starting point is 00:40:36 And he just, that's all I did. He'd break thermometers in my mouth when I'm sleeping. And I'd never wake up. It's very similar. to that uh you ever seen that video of the guy who's getting mustard sprayed in his face he's like oh fuck uh he's have you seen that did something happening you have you seen the mustard video it's a very specific thing to be afraid no here type in type in man sleeping mustard it's one of my it's
Starting point is 00:40:58 probably like one of my favorite videos on the internet it's so good yep see very top one there you get right here click that no no no the top top one top one yeah this one right click that one okay Give us some audio. This is some devious shit, dude. Imagine the silver man, and this is actually a thermometer, and this man on the couch is me. Is that a Betty boot blanket? You're good, you're good.
Starting point is 00:42:46 All right, that's good. I was just saying, still less quiet than any Gemini home entertainment. Bro, that was the amount of muskered. I'm telling you. I'm telling you right now. It just keeps coming. I'll tell you right now. The mustard man is scared than anything we've ever read on this channel.
Starting point is 00:43:35 Him walking through that house with all that mustard was fucking horrifying. What's crazy is there's like a minute of him like, oh, uh, there's just a hell. That's why I sympathize with him. I'm telling you my dreams that's what it was like. Imagine that's all mercury from a thermometer and the big boy. Did someone like threaten you with mercury? sometime or something? Why would you're afraid of that? I don't know. I think my grandpa, I was like, I was like, what's inside this? And he said
Starting point is 00:43:59 Mercury. And he was just like, yeah, he's like, he'll kill you. He's like, he's like, he'll put in our mouth, but it can kill us. And I think that freaked me out when I was younger. But anyway, he's like, I remember, I remember one time my grandfather just passively told a story about a boy who was at a public swimming pool. We were like jumped into the water and he had swallowed a lot of water. And then that night he drowned. So I was terrified every time I got into a pool that I would swallow water. He drowned from... How does that make sounds?
Starting point is 00:44:26 Are you sure your grandpa was a serial killer? No, no. It seems like he's confessing crimes to you. Yeah, a guy was out of a storied grape and he choked later by me strangling him with my beard. Man, I should watch how old are you grapes on grandpa. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:42 That was just a thing that never happened. Like he just said that he just thought that happened and said it one day. But it freaked me out for a long time. Yeah. I can sympathize. Yeah. All right. So anyways.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Next one. Artificial computer learning. All right. Ahead of his time with AI. Just, my God. What's insane is that you're at, you're not even at a quarter volume. Good Lord.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Yeah, I can make it worse. Good God. Turn it down! God! A demonstration of artificial thought and computer learning. For the past four years, right, oh, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:45:24 No, you go ahead. No, you got it. You're already gone. Regnac Computing have been developing artificial computer intelligence using new revolutionary methods. These methods have led to produce the world something. Okay. As a test of this intelligence's abilities, we gave it the task of creating an original intelligence story in the format of a children's storybook. Three iterations of the story will be shown, illustrating the creation process utilized by the artificial intelligence. All right. Regnad Computing really hitting a chat GPT before GPT was around.
Starting point is 00:45:52 All right, right. I iteration one. You can read these. Jack leapt over the river. Married to follow together. Okay, I'll turn it down. I'll turn it down. God, travel follow the secret. There we go.
Starting point is 00:46:11 My God. It's barely on instead. Jack the river. Jack the river. It is dead. That's a, that's a children's story. First iteration test. He'd insufficient results.
Starting point is 00:46:27 Though patterns in story consistency are clearly visible, albeit unrefined. All right, so if the computer had it's, it's dead as the last bit. I think that's just a fail all around the book. Jack leapt over the river. Jack leaped. Jack leaped over the river. Is it,
Starting point is 00:46:43 Mary followed close behind. Is it leaped or leapt? It's leapt. It's left. They are searching for the secret place. I hear you. What? Can you imagine the guy on the computer?
Starting point is 00:47:01 I'll know about that last point, huh? The intelligence builds upon its previous iteration, utilizing complex wordage and proper grammar and formatting. Jack leapt over the river. There goes married down the stream. The secret place will keep us. The river flows, but not with water. Uh-oh. With what?
Starting point is 00:47:32 Pee-P. Or is it blood or pee-p? I don't think it's pee-p. I don't think that's where the story's getting to. Yeah, the computer seems to diverge from its original path and begins a more complex branch of sentences. Jack heard it again.
Starting point is 00:47:50 There's a voice from space. Jack, do you see me? I have become something else. Is this in the, I think this is, this is Mary? Perhaps.
Starting point is 00:48:08 Maybe she's dead and now she's talking to him from the grave. So I think, um, a lot of these analog horror series, you've stuff up to speculation on purpose. But that, with my theory for what the series is, that's what I think is happening there.
Starting point is 00:48:24 It'll become more apparent later too. I have another idea for a, for a horror analog series. Uh-huh. Listen to the silver box. The computer, probably. The stars are moving now.
Starting point is 00:48:44 Ooh, stars, that's a money sign. Hell yeah. Do you see the hungry eye? All the S's are, the money sign. here I am. Is that a flying saucer? You get a little marble hornets vibe there, eh?
Starting point is 00:49:07 Mm-hmm. Rapping at the door. The video should have demonstrated you the capabilities of Regnad Computing's artificial intelligence. Not very good, dude. We hope to have this technology available for commercial and personal use within the year.
Starting point is 00:49:23 I'll tell you what, I would not be, I would not be a happy investor if that was the demo video. What's your idea? My idea would be, it's the ghost of Lou Bega and then every time that you hear the song Mamba number five coming in your house
Starting point is 00:49:36 that's how you know Lou Bega's there to kill you what if it's that? One, two, three, four, five, everybody in the club, let's go smoke a bono ass back to the can you imagine? That would actually be fucking horrifying. It's just slowly getting louder from the basement. Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 00:49:57 Lou Bega? How would you, how would you call Lou Bega? You have to say his name five times because Mambo number five, right? Lou Begagna. Or would you say, would you say, would you say Begaloo?
Starting point is 00:50:06 Begaloo. Begaloo. I think, you know, there is, the idea of like something getting closer to kill you, but it's dancing towards you, you know?
Starting point is 00:50:17 Yeah. It's like, it's Lou Begah dancing towards you. You can hear him dancing up your steps and singing that song. He has a, he has his iPhone out in a shirt pocket and it's playing his song and he's like dancing up the stairs. That's actually kind of been to sing. It's fucking horrified.
Starting point is 00:50:34 If you say, if you say, if you say, Begilloo five times into the reflection of a saxophone, what is when he shows up? What if he's not even looking at you? He's just moving towards you, but always looking forward. So like as he's coming up the stairs, you're like perpendicular to the stairs. He's not even looking at you. He's like looking straight up the staircase, but he's coming up the stairs towards you. I think he's looking at you because the whole thing is he's going to put on a show before he kills you.
Starting point is 00:50:58 You have to listen to the entirety of Mamba number five before he kills you. All right. Are you ready for the next one? Our solar system. Our solar system. You want to read this one? Our solar system. The sun.
Starting point is 00:51:31 Situated 149 million miles away, the sun provides light for our entire solar system. Without it, Earth would be a barren, frozen rock. Thank you, son. Thank you, son. Mercury. It's one of the smallest planets in our solar system. system, Mercury is also the hottest. It sits perilously close to the sun and only takes 87 days to orbit around it. Venus. As the second brightest object in the night sky, Venus can
Starting point is 00:52:15 sometimes be seen from Earth. The average surface temperature of the planet is 462 degrees Celsius. Earth. Earth is one of the only planets in our solar system capable of supporting life. with 71% of the planet covered with water, it's a miracle we can all fit. Who, who, who. Mars. Often called the red planet, Mars is a mostly barren desert world.
Starting point is 00:52:54 Dune. Pieces of Mars have fallen to Earth in the form of meteorites. Jupiter. As a gas giant, Jupiter has no solid surface, which makes it impossible to stand on it. The large spot on the planet is known as the great red spot. It is not an eye. Debatable. Saturn. Although mostly a gas giant, there may be a large solid core deep inside the planet.
Starting point is 00:53:30 This planet's prominent rings are quite a sight to behold. They are the gateway. Uranus. This planet is classified as an ice giant and is the coldest planet in our solar system. Unlike most planets, Uranus rotates on its side. Neptune. Large storm rages in the planet called the great dark spot. It is the lens. Neptune has been mutated. The iris. It is with us now. Laughing at us. Behold. Shooting a goddamn Kamea-Mail wave all the way from Neptune to Earth. Pluto. That's the smallest planet in our solar system. Pluto is only 1,100,000.
Starting point is 00:55:27 88.3 kilometers in radius. Although it hangs at the edge of our solar system, this planet isn't going anywhere. There you go. So more lore. So it's interesting. How much of these turn into cosmic horror? Are a lot of them cosmic horror related? Do you think?
Starting point is 00:55:43 Because Greenwalk was kind of cosmic horror related. And so is Midwest Angelica and stuff? Yep. So it was Local 58. I think a lot of them kind of like using, which I like it too, using the analog horror format as a gateway to some unknown, like, you know, beyond entity.
Starting point is 00:56:00 Is that the same with Mandela Catalog, too? No, Mandela catalog is much more religious whore. It's like demons and that kind of thing. But like Local 58 is like a cosmic horror entity, Gemini is. So a lot of the big hitters are for sure. Right, right. Camp information video. Moonlight Acres Family Camp, Established 1930.
Starting point is 00:56:30 Come visit Moonlight Acres Family Camp. Gosh, I love the mountains. Since our founding, Moonlight Acres has been devoted to family and creating memories. Our campground is as pristine and beautiful as ever, a relic from the past. Many of the original camp buildings remain untouched since the initial closure. Let's look at some of the activities our camp has to offer. Hiking. With so many expansive trails, hiking is a regular occurrence at our camp.
Starting point is 00:57:17 Just make sure you don't get lost. lost. Our tree has been a tradition throughout our camp's lifetime, with the targets getting more extravagant every year. Our canoe trips are always a blast. And let's not forget about our famous lights in the sky event. The harvest. The what? What was that last one? What was that? Pardon me? Pardon me? Excuse me? Ma'am. No need to pinch a tent. Moonlight acres has tons of places to lay your head. Cabins. Sleep in luxury at one of our family cabins completely burrow-free.
Starting point is 00:58:11 Excuse me, the what? They do what? For the kids, we have separate boys and girls' cabins, each with fun activities all year-round. Feeling rustic, stay at one of the camp's original cabins, which are frequently cleaned and always cozy. Each and every cabin on Moonlight Acres is beautifully decorated. With the most up-to-date safety technology,
Starting point is 00:58:33 you can rest assured knowing your security is, in our hands. No, thank you. Do not answer the knocking at the door. Ethos. An important part of Moonlight Acres' legacy is its mythos. Tall tales have been told from person to person throughout the camp's lifetime. In 1935, rumors of strange, royal dressed men visiting the camp began to make the rounds.
Starting point is 00:59:08 It is said that the men would ask to enter the camp administrator's cabin every night for years. One night A deal was made with the strange men And they left the camp Never to be seen again Another popular myth arose in the 30s When campgoers began to have sightings of skin walkers People's obsession with skinwalkers on the internet's crazy
Starting point is 00:59:51 Yeah Yeah I mean they're a very pliable creature You can do a lot with them Hello? God damn old monkey coming out there Vessels Adam Levitch
Starting point is 01:00:14 Mints Club supervisor answered the door Barry Johnson assistant activity supervisor answered the door Truman Michaels answered door Bethany Newman
Starting point is 01:00:24 answered door Alec Davis and Dorothy Bates asked to enter so another entry what did you think of that one you know I like the little mythos thing
Starting point is 01:00:41 I think it's fun all right next one Lethal Omen commercial. So this one actually, hold on, let's see if it's still there. Is it still there? Yes, okay. So the first live stream, okay, so this, this one is about a video game called lethal omen, right? Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:58 On Itch.io, you can play the lethal omen game. And the first live stream I ever did was me playing Lethal Omen and like going through and getting the different possible endings. Because there's a bunch of different ways it can go. I don't remember all of them. but I have very fond memories of this. Lethal omen. Intense action. Challenging puzzles.
Starting point is 01:01:37 High quality graphics. $2.99 plus tax available for Regnad Computing brand personal computers. So, you know, obviously the game's set at Moonlight Acres. I would, uh, I'd play this game. The game, the game itself on Itch is very impressive. There's a ton of secrets and like different paths you can find. Oh, fun. You can actually play.
Starting point is 01:02:13 it? Yeah, that's what, did you not hear me at the beginning? Oh, no, sorry. Yes, what I was saying, since you did it, uh, since I wasn't coming through, the, uh, you could play the game here. And the first live stream I ever did was me playing lethal omen. Oh, really? That's fine. Which I appreciate that level of detail that you can actually play the games.
Starting point is 01:02:35 Those, uh, newspapers are about like a bunch of people going missing from the camp. Like you can see the face in there. That's cool. And then that. I love it. I love how uncanny it looks. Hmm, he's not dying! It's cool, they're 3D of the alarm there that we've been saying. Yep. And then the bunker from Storm Safety. Yeah, there's the little dome and stuff and the, uh, the radio.
Starting point is 01:03:19 Radio and all that. The light get them. Lethal Omen uses revolutionary artificial intelligence as a basis for its video game engine. Uh-oh, watch out for the lights. Footsteps are kind of loud, buddy. well, don't know what that noise was about. Well, that's not, that's not particularly exciting. Don't mind me.
Starting point is 01:04:36 I'm going to mozy off here and I thought I saw something to the right. Maybe not. The iris. The iris is kind of like a fun take on like a flying saucer or some show. It's very similar to, did you ever play the Dead Space games? I played the first one. At the end of the third one, you realize. that the source of the marker control are these moons
Starting point is 01:05:23 that have effectively been mutated into these giant entities. So you have to like kill the moon. And I always thought that was a cool idea of like a giant like astral body being the entity you have to stop. I remember in the, I remember in the game there was a few different endings. There was one where you sacrifice someone to save yourself. There was another where like you think the sun's rising,
Starting point is 01:05:47 but it's actually like the iris. there was a few different ways it ended. But is this still going on? June, or is it over? The last entry was three years ago. But there's also been three year gaps before. So who knows?
Starting point is 01:06:01 But currently, yeah. Yeah. But currently, yeah, it ends with old bones. All right. Wilderness Survival Guide. This one has one of the most iconic scenes from the whole
Starting point is 01:06:14 series. A lot of people when they think of analog horror, think about the end of this one. Fucking spoils, man. Spoils. Jack Wilders' Wilders' Wilderness Survival Guide. Whether you're camping, hiking, or hunting, it's important to stay safe when they're going into the wilderness.
Starting point is 01:06:32 This cassette will teach you how many survival tips that might just save your life. I'm Jack Wilders. Essentials. Be prepared. There's a basic knowledge that every wildlife explorer should know, including what equipment to keep on hand. Basic equipment include waterflats, down, perishable foods, first aid kit, state kit matches compass and I've stored these items in a backpack would you thank you I'm Jack Wilders.
Starting point is 01:07:01 Thorns, ditches, and rivers could lead to serious injury if not accounted for. I could see myself drowning in a river take care like a six inch one. Yeah, he's very very shallow camping or hiking in private properties are hunting grounds could lead to serious fines or worse. Always make sure you have the proper permits before entering an area would you? I'm Jack Wilders. Things to avoid wildlife. Bears, cougars, and moose. Moose are actually so fucking frightening.
Starting point is 01:07:38 If you come face to face with any of these animals, stay calm. Do not run. Slowly back away, keep you their eye on the animal. Hit the gritty. If the animal displays aggression, raise your voice and speak sternly. GAR! Keep backing away until you're out of view of the animal. Once out of eyesight, report the...
Starting point is 01:07:58 That was... Don't worry about that. I'm Jack Wilde. Did anyone else see that? Martha. Walter, did anyone see that? Martha, did you see? What?
Starting point is 01:08:17 Okay. I guess that was just, I guess it was just me. Wait. Nages, Martha, what the hell is? Is this a practical joke? Martha!
Starting point is 01:08:31 I'm Jack Writers! Okay, just go back to normal here. Always keep a first-day kid on. Are you sure that was just me? All right. Let's just talk about sounds. I mean, you're going to hear in a wildlife, right? That's an electric pole.
Starting point is 01:08:51 Not really necessarily. You want to watch up for coyote hows. I mean, they're going to sound like kids crying. It is what it is. It's a coyote house. I'm Jack Writers. This is a bit of unconventional recording so far. The next one is there's a cougar.
Starting point is 01:09:12 There's a cougar scream. Very typical. This is outside my backyard. Took a little... Took my iPhone out and recorded these. I'm still pretty shocked by the visuals I saw earlier, but... Let's see.
Starting point is 01:09:26 Cougars, the next one is an owl. Okay. I do... I do not remember... I don't remember recording this one. I'm Jack Wilders. My mother! Did you fuck with the shit?
Starting point is 01:09:46 Oh, my God. Okay. If you hear any of these sounds, leave the area of me. There's a man screaming for help, so I would assume so. Do not move toward the sound. If you hear them, they have already heard you. Okay, what does that mean? What the hell does that even mean?
Starting point is 01:10:02 I'm Jack Wilders. This makes no sense. Okay, I guess we're just going to talk about building a campfire now. We're gonna kind of avoid that. You'll need wood, large stones, dry grass, leaves, dry twigs, branches, matches, or dry, I really, we'll just go, we need to move past it. I should have taken my heart medication earlier. Create a ring of stones in desired location.
Starting point is 01:10:27 That's so you don't burn down the whole goddamn area. Gotta make sure it can just stay contained. You do then. This is me setting this up in my backyard. This is about 11.30 at night the other day. I would like to wear large mittens. Ooh, couldn't get it. Oh, four times a charm.
Starting point is 01:10:49 Oh, fifth times a charm. Oh, six times a charm. Oh, maybe seven times a charm. I really can't seem to get that going. What to do if the fire starts? Follow the lights. I don't know really how that helps with my matchbook. Oh, these logs are a bit big for the...
Starting point is 01:11:15 Okay. I love this. So good. I'm Jack Wilder. My dude is bugging. This is my child in our backyard. He's fine. I'm Jack Wilder.
Starting point is 01:12:19 He's fine. If you believe, if you believe he'd been affected through a wound, do the following. Watcher with water and soap. Use antibiotic ointment on injury. Put a... bullet in your head. Firstly, ripped forward objects from body.
Starting point is 01:12:35 Good God. Would you leave me alone? Fuck. Then white boys always acting up. This has been Jack Wilder's Wilder's Wilderness Survival Guide. The timing on that first one
Starting point is 01:13:00 where you're doing the I'm Jack Wilder thing and then he turns back and it's nature's mockery. Oh. Martha. So that says that was a skin walker out there just trying to lure somebody, right? Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:18 Yeah, that was, uh, which I, I love that. I love that him standing completely still and jilted screaming like, help help me. That's so good. Wasn't that like a trend on Instagram, uh, like maybe a year or two ago? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:33 Yeah. And he's like, they're like, like, like, mugging the camera and shit. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:41 Yeah. Yeah. The Skimwalker thing's like, you know, been a thing for a long time, but I really like Jim and I's take on it. There's something so uncanny about like the, that's such a gutteral voice coming out of something completely still just walking around. Yeah. Well, the silhouette there too is fun. It's like just completely blocked out and yeah, it's fun. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Next one. Sleep image visualizer. Sleep Image Visualizer Setup and Information
Starting point is 01:14:26 Introduction to the Sleep Image Visualizer Sleep Image Visualizer Main module Computer Connection Port Module Power Port Hitze Connection Port Configuration Panel 7SAT
Starting point is 01:14:53 Up Shampods. Aliam an o'em, dumb, a gesture pop clump. Setting up this sleep image visualizer. Connect this sleep
Starting point is 01:15:13 image visualizer to your computer using code provided. Connect the sleep in the visualizer and set do the same individual measure using the code provider.
Starting point is 01:15:31 Insert this the sleep is a visualizer of use this into your Post on a computer I follow isolation or instruction. It started out as Indian, but now it's like falling off. You see the sleep image visualized. Desert somewhere. Put up here, posted on a computer.
Starting point is 01:15:47 I run the sleep image visualized home you so far. Doesn't that look comfy? Sleep image visualized. Leva Jacobs began at 5.24 a.m. December 12. In Dad, 5.30 a.m. December 12. Is in there six minutes. He's in there six minutes. He's looking at a light switch.
Starting point is 01:16:14 What's to the right of it? A wood panel. Wood panel. Place these leap is on your head. Slightly further to the right of the wood panel. The dark room. Do you not see that right there? Oh.
Starting point is 01:16:29 Oh, god damn. My fucking eyes. Like an egg. Oh, it's a man's face. It's a face. It's a face. There you go. Okay.
Starting point is 01:16:37 There's a egg. Alright, don't hit me with us. There you go. Come on, man. Plus the sleepy visualization is set on your head. Turn the sleep. It is visualizer main module. Own and line bed.
Starting point is 01:16:51 Your sleeping verse visual will begin recording automatically. Sleepy time. Stick figure on mountain. He wave, good night. Good night. Sleep figure. Good night to you. So there's a man looking at him in the doorway?
Starting point is 01:17:15 In his dreams. That was the sleep image. Okay, is the driver. Sleep image, visualization, Agha Gordon began at 4.6 a.m. John Donneford. 4th, ended for 10 a.m. John 24th, 6 minutes in. That's a cool room.
Starting point is 01:17:38 Yeah, an observatory. That's really cool. Not observatory, one of those ceiling projectors. I'd love to get fucking zooted and listen to comfortably numb and have a pink Floyd light show in there, man. Upon waking up, check your computer for a fully rendered sleep image visualization. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:17:58 You saw that, remember? Thank you for taking part in sleep image visualization program. Please note that all sleep image visualizations are automatically sent and legal pro. Okay, so, all right, my bad. Sleep image visualization, Jack Jean, became, okay, well, you saw the time. It said he was asleep for three days. God damn, rock and full sleep and just absolute Levi are Wranglers.
Starting point is 01:18:32 Brutal. No wonder he had a fucking sleep paralysis nightmare. So, reminder, the sleep image visualizer takes images from your unconscious mind and visualizes them. These images do not represent reality. Dreams cannot doubt the future. Or so we think. All right, Joseph Allen. Hey, he has not ended yet.
Starting point is 01:19:14 He's still sleeping. Mm-hmm. Right? Yep. Okay. Okay. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 01:19:26 All right. Joe. Is undergoing the rapture currently. Joe. Joe. Why? Okay. They just see that on the monitor and then he disappears.
Starting point is 01:19:38 Yeah. Just pops out of the bed. Okay. God that thumbnail. All right. Dear God. What the one of me? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:46 It's good. Yeah, you know who made that? Take one guess who made that. I don't know who made it. Nate? That's Nate. Yeah, Nate did that. Good Lord.
Starting point is 01:19:55 Sleep image visualizer. The idea of like being able to project whatever's in your dreams to a monitor is terrifying. I would never do it. Yeah. That'd be a fun concept for a horrible idea. Yeah, fun concept for horror would never do an IRL. I would be very fearful to have my dreams blast out there. I dream a lot of very weird things.
Starting point is 01:20:14 I would be very embarrassed. Yeah. Yeah, I agree. Do you want to talk about your weird dreams? Was that a set up to something? I had a weird dream last night. There it is. Okay, what was it?
Starting point is 01:20:26 I had a dream that I was like trying on overalls at the Carhart store. And I feel like that's just because I want new or I don't know why, but I was at the car heart store doing it. But then like I was wearing like red high heels the whole time. So like I was like in these black giant bib overalls, but I was like click clacking around the car store with these high heels on. And this guy was just like, uh, you want to? take off your shoes. And I was like, no, that's okay. And I kept trying on these overalls,
Starting point is 01:20:53 but the stiletto heels kept getting digging into the bib overall. So it was just very complicated. That was like seriously, it felt like a nine hour long dream. So to see that projected would be, that would be something all right. Would be, I don't really know what you would get or what you get or take away from it.
Starting point is 01:21:12 But, yeah, I don't think that really benefits humanity in any kind of way. so there you go that was the dream I had and I'm gonna I'm gonna breeze past the implications of that we're just gonna go on to games for kids what what implication is it I'm not I said we're gonna breeze past it so games for kids it is games for kids Jim and I home entertainment here give me your best hey kids hey kids are you bored need some new fun games to play well you're in luck Games for kids.
Starting point is 01:21:48 A list of fun, classic games to play with friends. Game one. Hide and go seek. One player is chosen as a seeker, while everyone else are hiders. I never liked that game. Never liked how to go seek? The seekers counts to 20 that searches for the hiders. No, my friends.
Starting point is 01:22:09 How do you not like hide and go seek? My friends would never come find me. They just leave me where I'm trying. I don't like that. I don't feel sad. Oh, that's great. All right, everyone, let's play hide and seek as soon as Hunter runs off. They're like, all right, now let's go.
Starting point is 01:22:25 I would try very hard. They would not hide. They wouldn't hide very well. So I found them very quickly. That was my turn to hide. It lasts forever. And I had to walk out. I'd be like, you guys must not be able to find me.
Starting point is 01:22:37 And they'd say, oh, no, we didn't. So they definitely did just not even try. Uh, freeze tag. It has to chase attack the runners. When a runner's tagged, they freeze. Frozen runners tagged by another runner. they get to play again. Freeze tag was always fun.
Starting point is 01:23:01 Hello. And all the runners are frozen, it wins. Game three. Sardines. Sardines is similar to hide and ghost seek, except one player is chosen as the hider and everyone else is seekers. That feels more familiar to me. The seekers count to 20 while the hider hides as fast as they can.
Starting point is 01:23:31 When a seeker finds the hider, they try their best to hide with him. Found you. The game ends when everybody is hiding. Game four. Feed the woods. Okay. Oh, Jack Walder.
Starting point is 01:24:08 I'm glad you're here. How the hell did I get back here? I'm Jack Wilder. What the hell is this? Sneak outside very quietly and gather all of your friends. Go into the woods. Walk until you cannot see the lights anymore. No!
Starting point is 01:24:30 No! No! Scream at the top of your lungs. I'd tell you what is a real... Yeah. What? I'll say it after this. How'd you get up there?
Starting point is 01:25:20 Is the iris? I think it's the hungry eye. One of the lights in the field. These sounds sound like how my stomach feels. Hmm. Game ends when the forest is fed. Oh, good. Oh, good.
Starting point is 01:25:53 Sir? Okay. All right. I'm Jack Wilder. All right. I'm Jack Walder. I don't like the wilderness anymore. Found you. I love that. That's so good. The way you, the way you fucking said found you fucking haunting. Found you. Found you. I love that. I love. I love, I love like the arrow like it shows hide and seek than the arrow to earth. Yeah. Found you. I was just gonna say I love like the whole formatting of that episode. how it starts with hey um like oh here's a game of hiding go seek where like everyone hides from one thing and it's like the initial infection then freeze tag it's grabbing more and then sardines they're all looking for the one person that's left yeah i mean like it mirrors how these things
Starting point is 01:26:51 take over it's done that in a great way so far we found that with like the wilderness stuff and everything of like taking habits of like birds or taking like being able to relate like uh like almost like childlike or innocent things and it's like you realize that that's the exact same thing that's happening with like this cosmic entity that's attacking earth whatever pretty fun yeah yeah I watched uh that movie michael last night that was oh is that you were gonna say yeah that was legitimately a horror film what was it a horror film it's just the way that they purchased is like hey guys how they're like like michael what the hell did you just do he's like this my new monkey bubbles
Starting point is 01:27:28 he gives his monkey and the monkey is completely cgia he's like they're like damn it Michael that's a wild animal and he's like yeah it's key I'm gonna take care of you dude he does that and then like there's this giant CGI monkey there the whole time he's like I'm gonna make the greatest
Starting point is 01:27:45 album in the world and it's thriller whatever and it's just it's it's it's a laughably bad movie anyways that's all I was gonna say it's a horror film it feels like a horror film yeah damn it Michael what did you do your nose I want a new image
Starting point is 01:28:00 me yeah fucking did you see all those videos of like during the theater like people would go up and like do the dances. Oh man. The Michael Jackson fans, they love it. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:13 He has this part in the movie too where he like sees the footage on TV and it's like the bloods and crips killing each other in neighborhoods, you know. So that he tells his agency, he's like, yeah, he says, he can't get him. And they're like, okay, well, Michael, they're only there because you're there. So be careful. And he goes in there and they're all. dancing first off and he's like yeah that was pretty key i think dancing and music and save the world
Starting point is 01:28:39 and they're like okay and he's like come out let's two together and they're all like he's rehearsing his thriller dance with the bloods and crips and i'm like there is no way this actually happen he's like that was pretty cool right guys and they're like yeah thank you michael jackson we're not going to be in gangs anymore i'm like there's no way that ever happened is that an actual scene in the movie legitimately he's sitting there's like that's pretty cool right And it's legit, like, that's actually what happens. Did Michael Jackson really dance with blood and crips? Michael Jackson actually did use real blood and crips while, uh, filming his
Starting point is 01:29:11 1983 beat it music video. However, while they appeared on screen, they did not dance. Okay. Well, that's not what the movie told me. So. So whatever. That's what they said. So that fucking Google's lying because I saw it in the movie.
Starting point is 01:29:26 How did they handle the accusations? They, they did not. Surprising the movie. ended right around the time that started, so... Interesting. Convenient for them, even. Yeah. Well, he certainly beat it.
Starting point is 01:29:43 Be it. Just beat it. Jim and I. Advanced mining vehicle. Nomad. Northern Alberta, mining and development. After years of development, Nomad is proud to unveil the future of mining technology.
Starting point is 01:30:08 Oh, that's cool. The remote-operated compact tunnel. is the vehicle to revolutionize mining. Controlled entirely via a computer. The ROCT makes it safe a traverse... Places where humans can't, basically. That's cool. It just keeps drilling. That's fun. Yep.
Starting point is 01:30:27 It includes with four treads in the vehicle's body, difficult terrain is no longer an issue. With highly advanced maneuverability, there's no need to worry if you get caught between a rock and a hard place. The ROTCT uses too high-powered hydrologgers to maneuver quickly and efficiently through rock and clay. Okay, I don't like this.
Starting point is 01:30:53 I don't, sir, I don't like this. A rotating camera attached to the vehicle provides a live video feed of the ROCT. The camera can pivot 360 horizontally and 90 degrees vertically via the control terminal. The camera is capable of 100 to 300 millimeter optical zoom to focus on important details. The fuck is that.
Starting point is 01:31:21 A compact microphone provides live audio of the R-S. Why? Why would you need that? You wouldn't need that. Especially for listening for hazards such as running water or nests. Okay, well, I guess you could, but still, we don't need that now. I don't like caves, Isaiah. Oh, yeah, that's right. You don't. My God.
Starting point is 01:31:49 Don't need to zoom. We're zooming in on nothing. Okay, we can back on that. Don't, we can back out of that. We can back out of that. Why do you want to do that? We can back out of that. Okay.
Starting point is 01:32:01 All righty, someone's definitely grabbing the, ROTC. Did you see the depths? It's compromised now here. Did you see how deep it went all at once? No, I know I see it's at 145 now, but what was it at before? Look at uh yeah look at it as it's going. Okay. So it went down, uh, it went down basically look at a triple. Yep, there it goes. Okay.
Starting point is 01:32:28 Yeah, there's fly down. All righty. No need to reboot. It's lost cause. Lost cause. There he goes. I really don't think we want to bring him back from what's happening. I like how the robots like, our boy, I am in trouble. Bring me up.
Starting point is 01:32:53 Bring me up. Please. Okay, so we're in the actual depths of hell. This absolute, absolute blackness around us. Alrighty. In additional gray battery ensures long life for the ROTC. A special casting casing keeps the battery secure.
Starting point is 01:33:11 It allows for a reboot in the case that the vehicles compromise. Oh good goodie good for us. Oh god, okay. I thought that was a so that was a belly for a second. Okay. All right. What the hell is that? Is that a root? Okay. No, thank you, sir. All right, that is some kind of living organ. Thank God we have optimal zoom. Okay, going deeper down.
Starting point is 01:34:07 All righty blood pumps through the garden's veins okay The crops mature well good. Okay, no need to nope no to no no nope All right, that's the literal sun down here run away from that ROTC my love my muse run away Good man get out of there. Oh righty. Oh god there's multiple of them Poor ROTC. I feel bad for the little machine. Okay, you're only going deeper. You need to go the literal opposite direction, please. I think he fell. You stupid son of a bitch.
Starting point is 01:35:21 I think he fell. He said, yeah, the lenses all cracked. Okay. Shifting tendons shape anatomy. Uh-huh. Mutation of the heart. That's four milkshakes for me. That's what that is. Yeah, deep fried foods and red 40 mutate hunter's heart.
Starting point is 01:35:50 There's no pointing zooming. Why zoom? Okay. Oh, he is. There goes that depth again. He is really, really getting down there. All right. We hope you enjoy this demonstration of the remote operated compact tunneller.
Starting point is 01:36:27 More information regarding the ROCT can be found in your booklet. Uh, that so far was my favorite one. I like that one. Yeah. That's a good one. Yeah. That's a good one. Daddy like that one.
Starting point is 01:36:39 He do like. He do like. I enjoy as well. Which I'm going to go ahead and say, I think my favorite in the whole series is shifting is as good as probably home invasion help, which we'll get too soon. All right. Next one, deep root disease. Let's do it.
Starting point is 01:36:54 Deep root disease. Deep root disease. This idea, too, of like the infection spreading underground is pretty cool. Yeah, yeah, down there they like grow new ones and that's what you saw hatching at the end Roots Roots begin to form from the underside of bulbs once rooting stage begins The speed of the growth increases as rooting stage progresses It's weird. It looks like like the worms that you like you know I mean like the fucking like almost like heart worms or something
Starting point is 01:37:42 Yeah, yeah Looks like a nest of things the roots will continue forming until coming into contact with a bone. Once contact is made, the roots are able to spread freely. Contraction. So this is why in Jack Wilder's guide, it's said to rip any foreign bodies out immediately. Right, because they'll just start watching on you. We'll explain how to, yes, yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:07 Y'all will grow inside of you. This is how you may develop deep root disease. Also, Jack was the name of one of the people who underwent the SIV study. When he was asleep and he saw the person sitting at the end of his bed. Typically appearing on any normally exposed part of the body, arms, legs, and neck, bulbs are the first visible sign of deep root disease. Bulbs can range from two centimeters to ten across, meaning the growth may remain unnoticed for any amount of time.
Starting point is 01:38:40 For the first few hours of appearance, bulbs feel hollow and may be pressed down with ease. Once rooting stage begins, the bulb will become solid, and those affected may experience pain when pressures apply to the area. Also, if you'll remember, oh, hold on, the area will become inflamed as rooting stage progresses and small sores may appear around the affected area as rootin stage reaches its climax these lumps will begin to form more rapidly inflammation then abruptly halts as sprouting begins so nasty diagnosis you know you kind of fucking reminds me of it was like seed ticks seed ticks are
Starting point is 01:39:16 fucked man yeah yeah if you believe somebody you know is contracted deeper disease so sour right diagnosis for a bulb on exposed skin for erratic muscle spasms. They're home for unrecognizable smells. Ask if they can recall their mother's name. If they have stopped dreaming. They have felt new bones. You know, things that people will probably tell you anyway.
Starting point is 01:39:53 If four or more of these tests describe an individual you know, they have become something else. Proceed with protective safety measures. So one thing to mention, the dreaming thing occurs more and more. because they're streaming there. There's the aluminum dome in the SIV studies that they collect dreams with. They put over your head. And there's also the aluminum dome that they want you to put in the bunker, right?
Starting point is 01:40:15 I'm confused by why they wanted to put it in the bunker, though. Why do you need to lick a little four foot bunk, like a dome in your bunker? That's a great question. Is it just the idea of it's like, I mean, unless I'm just jumping the gun, but is it just something where it's like, it's an object or something that's like able to bounce off these waves or something or like bounce off the signals that's trying to shoot. I don't know. It's just kind of
Starting point is 01:40:37 interesting. Well, I mean, there's different theories, but my idea with it is you have the aluminum dome which like we know from SIV causes you to, it picks up brain waves and stuff like that. And then you have a radio next to it that they say causes hallucinations. So perhaps
Starting point is 01:40:53 they're set up in that way to further endanger you by letting you speak directly to the iris as a sort of beacon. who knows. The only source of information I trust is Jack Wilder because Jack Wilder actually did give correct information
Starting point is 01:41:11 don't go towards screaming and then he was one of the people to underwin a dream study and something was stalking him and if you'll remember all the way back to the third episode the artificial intelligence one the story the computer told
Starting point is 01:41:21 was of Jack and Mary right? Jack jumped over the river but Mary swam down or got caught flowing down and drowned whatever yeah. So you have like this idea of Jack getting by and then he makes a survival guide thing to stay away from
Starting point is 01:41:35 them. So he's probably knowledgeable. Oh, that's fun. No. A little hand. Sprouting. There go your bones. All right. Next up we have the,
Starting point is 01:42:10 the sprouting and stuff, you always thought was creepy is, uh, or just like a weird, gross kind of constant. Like you never leave potatoes out for too long. Super potatoes or regular potatoes. Yeah. And they just start sprouting and growing those.
Starting point is 01:42:23 things. I always thought that that was just such a fucking weird thing. Like you walked down one day and they're just changed. You're like, ugh. What the fuck? Yeah. They're growing out and they start to like bloom almost off of them. Yeah. It's weird. It's like even though they're like set away laying on a counter they will begin to
Starting point is 01:42:38 like it's like they're morphing. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Yeah. Monthly progress report. Regnad Computing. Monthly progress report. Project Infrared. Manager Duncan Parnell. Organizer Kennedy Silva. manager Alex Moore
Starting point is 01:42:56 Alexis Moore 84% complete status and client are active and communication is available Project description study of assisted technological process via artificial computer learning for the following purposes
Starting point is 01:43:17 to predict and prevent future technological failures to advance in the field of technological discovery especially computer processing and memory computer processing predictive advancement failure avoidance and ACL communication developments throughout the month of October have led to a drastic increase in graphical capabilities for regnad brand personal computers the above image displays a video game demonstration created to showcase the graphical capabilities possible with recent advancements
Starting point is 01:43:50 so there it's like you know regnad computing has made this video game as a gateway to some greater goal right yeah well that's what i'm wondering is regnad almost feels like they're in on it or they're trying to like it's it's weird it's set up as a warning but it almost feels like the entities that are coming to Earth or like trying to persuade you with these kind of fucking like little videos, doesn't it? Yeah, yeah, there's something behind it. Something's operating it. A total of 15 simulations have been run during the month of October, with each test giving new insight into unprecedented technological advancements. With the help of ACL and our client, we are expected to pass all of our competitors within the year in the field of graphics,
Starting point is 01:44:28 RAM, and processing power. By running hypothetical scenarios through the ACL system, we have successfully avoided 23 technological failures in Regnad Computing's future. This would not have been possible without the support and wisdom from our client who spearheaded our artificial computer learning projects. ACL communication. All communications made with our client throughout the month of October have been recorded via the ACL Monitor Room Room, and will now be showcased in this tape. All systems online. Activating Transmitter array. Transmiter array active.
Starting point is 01:45:11 Speaking room online. That's fine. Entering prompt. Earth client ready for speaker yeah it's like it's like the fucking alien is uh it's already control people who are like
Starting point is 01:45:36 in charge of these programs and they're able to like submit and like reprogram people yeah they're communicating through these systems they're talking back to the iris receiving iteration I love the sprout look I'm always such a sucker for these like blood like these vein
Starting point is 01:45:54 nervous system looking sprout type stuff Mary sees the gateway die Sleeping ones are eaten whole The vessel floats into the maw The jaw unhinges So that's what it said regarding earth Next prompt
Starting point is 01:46:24 Moonlight New things roam the feeding grounds The harbinger guards in vain Mary hears a creaking sound The hungry eye is welcomed new prompt jack narration jack is with us now
Starting point is 01:47:12 jack is us now in short the progress made throughout the month of october has drastically increased our technological capabilities our client's influence on the ACL system has allowed for tremendous progress to be made we expect to meet our client in person in as little as seven months don't like that
Starting point is 01:48:02 do you think that this is you think that this is like normal human people that are actually still promoting like like doing human things, but like totally under the guys. You know what I mean? Like they don't see that how fucking like weird and crazy this is. Well, I think like the wires and stuff like that they do. But I think it's probably like some scientists who were running this basically found God.
Starting point is 01:48:23 You know, they found this impossible being in the solar system and they're just doing its bidding. Well, that's what I'm saying. But they have to be under the influence though, right? They're not like of sound mind. Under the influence. Well, if they are of sound mind, I think it's just because maybe this thing has promised that they'll be spitting. I see. You know when it comes.
Starting point is 01:48:40 So they have no option but to, they feel they have no option but to give in. Right. Give it what it wants. Right. We get more hints there towards Jack and Mary, right? Like they want Jack. It says that Jack is with us now.
Starting point is 01:48:50 Mary welcomed in the hungry eye, right? She goes back to Jack. jumped over the river and Mary flowed down it. All right. So Jack Wilder, the true, the unsung hero of this story. All right. Christmas Eve party.
Starting point is 01:49:04 Moonline Acres family camp, 1985, I love that. Barry Johnson. I don't know what it is about Christmas music. Christmas music is always so fucking creepy, man. It's, there's,
Starting point is 01:49:18 I think it's because there's just nostalgia and the tones of it are always very echoey, kind of old. Well, I think it's also, it's like so innocent, but it's like haunting at the same. It makes me think of death.
Starting point is 01:49:29 Every time I think of Christmas music, I think of like, yeah. I mean, not like, not like the pop ones, but like these old ones like, do,
Starting point is 01:49:34 do, you know, like the, like the, oh, Christmas tree. I think this is what this one was. It's just,
Starting point is 01:49:39 uh, Whenever it's up music and it's just the instruments, it just feels like some uncanny fucking death sound to me. It feels like a strange. It feels out of place a lot of the time. Yeah. Like something's coming. So here we have coordinator Barry Johnson photography by Bo Nadler. But the videography is Jack and Mary Dean.
Starting point is 01:50:06 Ugh. Some just move past the screen. Yeah, well, it's a Christmas party. So someone walked by. I did not read it like that. That's fucking creepy. someone really didn't try on the snowman okay
Starting point is 01:50:34 all right also whenever this shit happens to whenever stuff happens near like religious holidays like Christmas or something it always does feel like it's a like God's returning or something you know what I mean like this feels like now a religious okay nevermind
Starting point is 01:50:54 well that's kind of sound maybe maybe not alright maybe that wasn't God I could just see people taking this and being like, oh, it's a second coming or something like that. Yeah, yeah. Especially with the planet coming to the earth and all that. Nope. I love that.
Starting point is 01:51:21 Nope. I love that. It's like a hand. Yep. Nope. Nope. Not only a hand, a fucking giant hand. He covered the whole fucking roof, Isaiah.
Starting point is 01:51:33 Good Lord. Okay. All right. The knock in at Moonlight Acres. through the door. Nope. Lakeside cabin. Home of celebrations. Yay.
Starting point is 01:52:49 Alex Whitler and videographer Jack Dean. I'm guessing those are some of the people too that have been standing outside and screaming. Oh, there's Mary. Oh, good. Mary. That's fun. Mary's with us now. The jaw and hinges. Yay. That one
Starting point is 01:53:09 was really good. I like that. That was fun. Yeah, that one's killer. And then it'll be I'm sure someone put in the description but I remember in my video that that pitch like the noises you hear is actually speaking slowed down yeah it's saying Jack do you hear me
Starting point is 01:53:27 I've become something else yeah that's right oh good so that's Mary Mary went outside as it says Mary opened the door so Mary goes outside gets killed turned into that and then comes back and kills the rest of party goers except Jack Jack's the one who leapt over the river which is why he's
Starting point is 01:53:43 now making like survival videos and ways to try to stay away from them. All right. Next one, my personal favorite, home invasion help, which also, if you'll notice the different names of the company, so there's regnad computing,
Starting point is 01:54:02 which regnad is the word danger backwards. Regnad computing is the one that is speaking to the iris, right? And then you have Optica Video. And then you have Harbinge technologies, which is almost Harbinger. and then the iris told regnad that the harbinger guards in vain so it's like the harbinger is trying to keep these things at bay home invasion help and safety home invasion can be a daunting and stressful prospect this videotap's intended to ease your stress and prepare you for home invasion step by step should the moment arise keep in mind windows and doors are the most commonly used interests during home invasions ensuring that these areas are locked may prevent or slow home invasions allowing for authorities to be called.
Starting point is 01:54:57 Why do you think this is so, why do you think this is so creepy to, uh, like that younger, but that younger audience in 2020, like these old informational tapes that are definitely outdated in terms of like people who are watching this stuff, right? The simplicity of it is really impressive with just like, you can just take little things and if you'd know sound design enough to just make, like the constant, uh, withering of the tape, just like that constant, uh, withering of the tape, just like that constant,
Starting point is 01:55:25 static. It like is creating that sense of unease, but I do wonder what is the connection that like brings this younger audience. Because you would assume people that are like maybe they are even older than us would be like, oh, I remember this when I was younger and it would be more applicable to that. But some people, I'm just like wondering why it latched on in such a way. So for those people who like remember it, it's nostalgic, but for people my age, I remember like these old VHS tapes when I was like four or five. But by the time I was like seven DVDs were everywhere. So I never really had experience with these kinds of things.
Starting point is 01:56:04 But I know they existed. So seeing them recreated is almost alien, right? Yeah. It's almost like another time. It's like a, it's a world I never really interacted with. But I know is out there. And now I'm seeing it tell me terrifying stories. So both the format and the thing in it are so strange.
Starting point is 01:56:23 That's really, that's an interesting perspective because yeah you can look at it and be like you barely dabbled it you dabbled in it just enough to know that it existed but you never actually like consumed any of that media in a way that was like a lot of people that are younger well especially younger now will never know what it's like having VHS on movies like actually before DVDs and stuff and then like popping those and having all these things and it's just interesting that it's like little things that maybe you've seen before that just like now are, it's just, I guess that's what makes it so believable too is that you know it exists, but you are for like, that's a good point.
Starting point is 01:56:59 You're foreign to it in terms of it just being like almost a different language, you know, just because all the other media that you had was processed through DVDs or even like the internet and stuff. So it's just something that exists, but it's a, I think that's it just, it plays into that found footage vibe, I think. Like it plays into the idea that it's like a tape that you're not supposed to have found or something like that. I think it's just kind of interesting.
Starting point is 01:57:19 Yeah, it's like you're uncovering. something forgotten. Something that could have existed out there and then you never came across it. I'm definitely not knocking this. It's just it's so simple and it's approach, but I was like sitting there thinking about it. And it's like these artifact and it's like the, it has this uncanny valley with which I think a lot of media now doesn't have.
Starting point is 01:57:37 Like the artifacts on actual film or tape, you don't have that anymore in digital formatting and stuff. So it really is this kind of like just a piece of obscured or obstructed media that you get to watch or something. just pretty interesting. Yeah. And like shots like this, I mean, are obviously uncanny, like the frontlit house, everything around it's dark.
Starting point is 01:57:59 But then I don't know. It's like it's a horror story, obviously. It's a scary story or whatever that's being told to me by a stranger, almost. Something that I understand can be real, but I have no experience with. So everything about it is very off putting in the way you want horror to be off putting, I guess. Number of security systems can be installed in a home, including cameras, motion detectors, and alarms. All these systems may be disabled via blunt force. As most home invasions take place
Starting point is 01:58:26 at night, sufficient lighting can successfully stop a house invader before they even reach the house. The following is a list of commonly used methods of entry during home invasions. Window entry. Breaking a window can create easy access into the home. Note that this will cause noise that may alert prey. May alert prey, good God. Audio loring. Vocalizing or making percussive noise against a door may cause prey to be drawn to. it allowing for easy access into the home. So this is just a literal home invasion tape for like Mary and stuff. Yes. Yeah. That's what I like about one of the things I like about it. You initially think it's that. But when it was explaining like easy ways to keep people out
Starting point is 01:59:05 from invading your home, it was for the home invader to try to get around those things. Yeah. Like when it says, these can be disabled via blunt force. It's telling them that they can just break security. Just fucking break through. Yeah. Burrowing. Burrowing underneath the homes foundation can create access into the home from below allowing for easy access between nests the following will explain what to do upon entry into a home and it's like it's for these alien creatures that don't know earth that well like the best way to get into someone's home locate prey incapacitate prey it's pretty cool that's like what their vision looks like yeah enter pray via probiscus oh this is so good i just love how how familiar it feels to Marble Hornets of like just taking whatever's around you,
Starting point is 02:00:03 going outside at night with a flashlight and just making something creepy. Well, Marble Hornets, like I said, was the progenitor to all this stuff, right? Or even just found footage and stuff of like people being able to see things and just be like,
Starting point is 02:00:16 oh, my house looks creepy at night, you know, like it's just, yeah, just use whatever you have on hand. I love how simple it is. It's such a fun,
Starting point is 02:00:25 fun way to just proactively make and create something. It's kind of like what we were talking about back when you just started a YouTube channel that just like want to make things. Yeah, or just like you're just involved, which by this time, I'm sure the Gemini guy had a fan base and he's like, you know, now there's a continued story. But still, it's just the idea of like, I like the idea of just limitation breeds creativity, man, I'm telling you. Yeah. Also, 100% this motherfucker lives in like Minneapolis or Minnesota or something. This shit, it all screams Midwest coated shit. Okay.
Starting point is 02:01:09 Alrighty. Are those Ethernet courts? Nope. They're just fucking nervous systems for ghouls. So good luck. In the shape of people. Yeah, it reminds me this has similarities to like invasion of the body snatchers almost.
Starting point is 02:01:28 Yeah. Yeah, very, very similar. How fun is that? I like how that's also just the still and he's just using like a digital program to do an artificial light. someone probably drew that or a 3D thing of that looks great how fun
Starting point is 02:01:50 god damn these kids are talented men yeah don't look at me I god damn it I knew it was gonna happen to you son of a bitch I love that I love that
Starting point is 02:02:11 so it's like they killed the people and then they use these tendrils to like build them up again so they can then well yeah it's like it's making that's what I'm saying I love that with the invasion of the body snatchers thing is taking out the old and then basically creating a clone.
Starting point is 02:02:28 Yeah. As a replacement is really fun. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Bound you. Yeah, tag you're it. I love that one. That's so good. I love it. Uh, what a good
Starting point is 02:02:55 series, man. All right. Next one. Crusader probe mission. So home invasion one. You're saying that one was your favorite, right? Home invasion. Yeah. I just love the tingeal guy with the eye looking. I think it's so well done Geneva Production Company Crusader 5
Starting point is 02:03:18 After 12 long years Crusader 5 successfully completed its planetary flyby mission Results in a plethora of new data And photographs During its mission Crusader photograph Jupiter Saturn and Neptune Jupiter Crusader reached Jupiter
Starting point is 02:03:37 Okay well I guess it is matter I don't know if there's anything there that mattered No I just took photographs Crusader incident timeline Outlining the timeline events leading up to And during the Crusader incident 1982 Crusader approaches Jupiter
Starting point is 02:03:56 Colisto The moon of Jupiter Europa Moon of Jupiter I bet Jupiter smells like shit Oh I'm sure December 1985 crusader approaches Saturn Titan
Starting point is 02:04:39 Iepidus Chiron Stember 91 Crusader approaches Neptune That's where it lands I'm pretty sure Do we see anything there for those few frames? I didn't see anything.
Starting point is 02:05:05 Saturn has 79 moves, each with their own unique characteristics. During its mission, Crusader photographed two of these moons. Okay. November 19, November 20th, 1991. February of 92, Crusader approaches first cluster. Phoebus. Hesda, moon of Jupiter, Calgia, moon of Uranus. Sato.
Starting point is 02:05:45 Ninety-2, Crusader approaches. Moon of Iris. cyst umbilical moon vitreous ucus moon of iris macula moon of virus vitreus vittreus moon of iris january of 93 crusader experiences sudden gravitational pull january of 93 crusader enters esophagus grove soffage grove January of 93, Crusader enters respiratory spinal complex. Lowers sacralic throat. Can you imagine getting these fucking photos?
Starting point is 02:07:37 Dude, it's like, all right. We better get religious or kill ourselves really quick. February of 93. Crusader approaches conscious mind. Nope. Well, they did not like that. they said no more no no no yeah
Starting point is 02:08:10 and we're done I love that May 7th 93 just zooted out of his fucking mind good God October 93 that guy kind of looked like me too I was just it looks like you just
Starting point is 02:08:30 just ripped apart Crusader signal loss for seven months May of 94 Crusader approaches Earth Crusaders voyage through space has been thrilling for scientists and space enthusiasts like uncovering hundreds of new exciting possibilities for humanity's future. I bet. Yay!
Starting point is 02:09:05 Who knows what's in store for Earth next? Yeah, I wonder what could happen. I also like the implication that it basically like rewired or stole the Crusader drone and then sit that back to Earth as its vessel. What's interesting too is this next one. So that was the last that had the normal Gemini home entertainment thumbnails. And then the shifting tendons is the first one that's like they started doing it differently. Yeah, I think if I remember right, I think that's when channel.
Starting point is 02:09:36 No, channel surfing is just a general point. I think there was one that got deleted. There was an early one if I remember that was like about a probe that goes to the bottom of the ocean and finds the hungry eye. Interesting. That's fun. But I guess it's gone now. I don't know why. that or I imagined it, which I don't think I did.
Starting point is 02:09:55 This is just a playlist, yeah. Yeah. And then channel surfing. I'm pretty sure channel surfing, it was made around this time. It's just like, you can buy, it's like you're flipping through
Starting point is 02:10:07 the different ads for it. I don't think there's anything. Yeah, it's just like an advertisement for the series. Anyway. So the next, we have shifting tendons, which these, I think at this point on,
Starting point is 02:10:23 it breaks the typical Gemini, like format where it's like oh i'm watching an infomercial and now it's just footage that's cool that's a fun evolution of that sleep image for barry johnson he was the uh uh he was asleep for four minutes this was the guy who's mentioned in the christmas party i think along with the deans well that's terrifying didn't like that no holding room design yeah see there's the little dome again what the fuck yep Oh, interesting. It's like a box instead of a box there.
Starting point is 02:11:18 Barry Johnson assistant activity supervisor. Levi Jacobs. My boy, Levi Jacobs is keeping Barry at bay. Metal door with feeding slot. Oh, okay. Escape hatch. Keep in mind they're calling it a holding room. July 16th, 91, six days into self-quarantine.
Starting point is 02:11:41 Oh, so this is like a, this is like a self-quarantine kind of thing. Yeah. After what happened at the... the Christmas party, Barry Johnson quarantined himself. Angel, earth angel. Will you be nine? Barry? Earth Angel is such a good theme for the series too.
Starting point is 02:12:20 I know. I was going to say that's a fun choice for music there. Nope. Uh-oh. Looks like he got, looks like old Barry got deep root disease. Looks like Mary showed up to the party. Barry's got a case of the consumption there. Like a 6.91. 27 days.
Starting point is 02:12:39 About a month into self-quarantine. I feel like Barry is not doing well. God damn. They came and turned a light on for the boy. Barry? Ooh. All right. Well, kill it with fire.
Starting point is 02:13:11 Sorry, Barry. Yeah. Okay. Barry's turning into a shrub. All right. That is where nature's mockery comes from. People with deep root disease. Now Barry is just a, an infested yam.
Starting point is 02:13:40 September 7th of 91. About two months. Two-ish months into quarantine. Staff prepared in her holding room following estimated incubation time. Staff are equipped with protective suits to avoid contact with deep root growths. I like this use of the illustrations. It's fun. Or if this is 3D, just like these assets are fun.
Starting point is 02:14:19 God damn, Barry is split open. Holy hell. Yeah, Barry's just a fungus now. An interview is performed to assess. Barry Johnson psychological state. What? They're going to talk to him right now. Hey,
Starting point is 02:14:33 uh-oh. Barry Johnson. Oh, shit. What? The interior of Barry Johnson is discovered to be occupied. If I was... Camp staff in a shape of protective safety measures.
Starting point is 02:15:58 If I was one of the camp people, I would, if he's like, we can hear you, I'd be like, what? I'd pretend we can't hear him. Huh? Huh? I'm sorry. I didn't catch that. Can you remember?
Starting point is 02:16:07 Repeat that again. What did you say that was? One more time. Please, thank you. As you're like backing up to the stics of the ladder. All right, Barry. Yeah, just one more please.
Starting point is 02:16:18 Thank you. We'll try checking on you later. I can't hear you. I think you're kind of just speaking mumbo. Jumbo, let's get out of here. It'd be funny. He was like,
Starting point is 02:16:26 are you serious? Can you seriously not hear me? Oh, let me try louder. Following segment, utilized a live feed of Lake, Mount a Bank in Canada during its broadcast, approximately 25 minutes before first attack. Tonight, mostly cloudy, lows around 25, lights snow around 12, with brief harsh winds throughout the night.
Starting point is 02:16:47 Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve of 85, so the same time as the party. Okay. All right. Well, that's not good. I think the implication is that was one of the wood crawlers falling to Earth. Yeah. Well, I'm wondering if the thing that fell to Earth and then that's the thing that fucking attacked the house or something.
Starting point is 02:17:09 Yeah, I think that's the implication. Yeah. So you remember how they said back in the 30s, the camp. Yeah. The gentleman. Deal with the men in the suits. Yeah. So May 3rd, 1946.
Starting point is 02:17:19 Curtis, come down to the camp this weekend. Fulton and I have devised a plan on how we can continue to uphold the deal without giving into these beings. Horrent demands. Richards has seen a bear lurking near the boys' cabins. We will go out and shoot it. If the statue wants a sacrifice, it will have to settle for the. this. I'll be upon no longer.
Starting point is 02:17:43 Okay. Curtis, I tell you this with complete certainty. If I could do it over again, I would never have made that deal, Glenn Arthur. Yeah, Glenn,
Starting point is 02:17:54 you probably fucking made a deal with the space devil, you dumb ass. To sacrifice campers to them. May Unknown 46. Wretched hands tap my window. A stranger's fang, scrape the wall. What a fun journal entry
Starting point is 02:18:19 Thanks dude Also it's the 40s Right thigh Right thigh That's a big old thigh on Mary God damn It's a thick of Nick region
Starting point is 02:18:36 underside Lloyd Michaels Oh shit Lloyd Lloyd Lloyd All boys are just all fucking sucked in Mm-hmm
Starting point is 02:18:55 Christine Hoyt Everyone who's at the party Amalgamated That's fun Yeah definitely like the guy in the tree in the game Yep Darcy Oggen I'm damn being able to decipher
Starting point is 02:19:12 Those faces in this lovel Like how the hell are you guys Knows in this Mary Dean That's fun Glenn Arthur Photo comparison suggests An exponential increase in organism
Starting point is 02:19:47 deterioration since mutation Organism has since Lost all resemblance to a bear So the thing hit Earth You know took over a bear A scene in Jack Walters thing and then got Mary and then everyone else Shit well now we're on we're on the last one Final entry old bones three three years ago
Starting point is 02:20:07 So who knows when he'll post again But I assume that it's not over yet There's still so much information still out there so Yeah so the first one the first one said one out of four Two out of four and then this one's three out of four And four has never been posted interesting Selected excerpts from the journal of Clint A.R. So the guy who did the deal back in the 30s
Starting point is 02:21:06 13th May 13th 1935 I've seen a vision Oh it's fun So he was correct about yeah The Neptune shooting that shit out yeah Yeah Heavenly visitors May 15th
Starting point is 02:21:34 Angels visited me while I slept Ah gosh I love that so much The eyes being too far space Yeah it's great and they're just in the suits and stuff How fun is that What a great Take on aliens and stuff too. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:22:03 Who am I that the host of heaven would commune with me? The unconscious minds adore and I hold the key. Oh, dream speakers, name yourselves. May 23rd, vision for my angels. A half-living thing grows outside camp. A statue carved in their likeness. Arms reaching out like a child's. June 4th.
Starting point is 02:22:50 I've been offered a. new covenant. See, I love that too because like in the Bible, the covenants were the things like the covenant with Abraham, the covenant with David, like these different points where God makes a promise with humanity that he maintains the covenant to Noah or whatever. And now
Starting point is 02:23:05 he thinks that he is now the next prophet. He's been given another covenant by these visitors. May 1941. Deal is sealed. Oh shit. Is this like the earliest iteration of the camp? Yep. That's cool. The statue. The statue made it
Starting point is 02:23:43 it's like this and they reach up. That's what they were making sacrifices to. Yeah. May of 46, the deal is broken, which coincides with that letter we read in the last one. He's like, I'm done being a pawn. Yeah. You thought it was God, but it's not.
Starting point is 02:24:02 So they kill a bear and for the first time, sacrifice a bear instead of a person. Wretched Hands tap my Witten. I iteration 381. So this is still iterations coming from space, right? Wretched hands tap my window. A stranger's fangs scrape the walls. Sleep beneath the feeding grounds. Cancer shares a dream. Jack heard it again. There's a voice from space.
Starting point is 02:24:50 Jack, do you see me? I've become something else. I am still in here. Relic of the faithless day. Don't leave me, you bastards. Old bone grows. So with those explanations coming through, that makes me think that all of the people that are being assimilated are becoming a part of hive mind, but every now and then they speak out, they yell. Like that was the original guy yelling, I'm still in here. Don't leave me, you bastards. So as these transmissions come from space to Regnad, every now and then a statement from
Starting point is 02:25:25 one of the people who's a part of it breaks through. That's fucking terrifying. I love this use of like the 40s, like 1930s, 40s camera, like the black and white. That's fun. The light show. As soon as they stop doing the sacrifice the right way, then the lights appeared. Oh, that's fun. Man, that's so good.
Starting point is 02:25:55 Look at that. That's so good. It's so cool to see the artists grow to. You know what I mean? Yeah. How fun is that? Best visual so far in the series. How fun is that?
Starting point is 02:26:13 I love that. There it is. Jim and I Home Entertainment. So far, that's all we got. Man, still so much. It's cool seeing the visuals just get, I mean, like, I don't know, just really coming into his own.
Starting point is 02:26:28 Yeah, Remy, a Bodie. What a fucking, what a G. Hopefully he makes more stuff. Yeah, he did a bunch of these, which he started his own channel, which I'll pull up in a second. But he did a bunch of these graphs that he was posting at the same time that gives more lore about like Gemini announces delays following controversy and then like private letters written from people and stuff like that. I mean, there was so much lore to. And like I said, he built a hold gate game. Like you can play Lethal Omen.
Starting point is 02:26:56 The question. He made his own channel and then started doing some posts from it. hold on. What was your question? Whenever people, because sometimes I feel like looking at some of these creators, they take big breaks in between.
Starting point is 02:27:08 And I don't know how much of it is them just being like, eh, you know, am I, is it taking this long or do people start falling out of love with certain projects? Like whenever these things are so ambiguous in large scale, do you think that it, do you think it tends to have the creators kind of box themselves in a bit
Starting point is 02:27:28 creatively? and then just like or does it also just lend it to be like well I don't know I just kind of want to do other shit and then it kind of leaves these these projects open ended or do you think that it is just a thing that like it's intentional amounts of time
Starting point is 02:27:43 that are passing through or like you know does that make sense? I think a lot of it is one yeah I think a lot of it is wanting to branch into other stuff because he had done Gemini for years a long time. I mean like from that it's a two or three year project yeah yeah he just kept like adding and building on to the world. And I think he said most of what he wanted to say. Because with all the pieces
Starting point is 02:28:02 we have now, you can kind of see the timeline in your head and think about how these things came to be. And I can certainly sympathize with the creator wanting to move on to other stuff because right around the time Jim and I started to get spaced out, he started this channel where he was doing like more individual projects. They're still very similar. But instead of like informational, it's like home video scary stuff. Right. Yeah. Um, this kind of thing. I love that. just a kid at a birthday party with the face, put it out for some reason. But yeah,
Starting point is 02:28:31 no, I just, it seems like these like big scope scale things. It's like really hard to wrap it, which is what I've been funny, even with stuff like Skinnamarink or like these things where it's like creepy, like just kind of ambiguous ideas. It's not that they can't lead anywhere,
Starting point is 02:28:47 but I do think that like, I think it makes it harder to close a project out. Or I think like you also get like kind of, you get boxed into a certain kind of creative parameters. that you have to stay in, you know what I mean? Yeah, so I can certainly sympathize with him over wanting to. Yeah, I mean, I feel that. It's still, it's still really fun.
Starting point is 02:29:05 Other stuff. It's cool seeing this too because it's like, I mean, this is the first time I've ever seen any of this stuff. And I think like it's, it's interesting how, how similar this is. Like, it feels like this, when people look at like horror content in the future, it's like, uh, it's just such a specific place in time for this kind of thing. I'm in it's always interesting that like found footage always kind of comes back in its own variety in ways but uh I'm it's interesting to see how like stuff has evolved since then and like
Starting point is 02:29:36 what will be the next kind of thing that like the youth catches on to and that people find uh that kind of like hooks them in a way too that's an approachable method uh to making stuff it's just really cool it's just like such a it's such a streak in time it looks like he's I'm looking at his patreon right now it looks like starting in January. He started doing a series called This Week in GHE, where he's showing editing progress. So it looks like he's working on it again. There you go.
Starting point is 02:30:02 Because the last post was three days ago. Oh, fun. There you go. We'll be sure to support. There's more on the way. Be sure to check out his Patreon if you want some more stuff. I'm sure that he has tons of behind the scenes stuff moving there. But really fun project, man.
Starting point is 02:30:15 Yeah. As gives Midwest Angelica vibes, gets just all these kind of, I love how they all kind of feel like they can almost exist in the same universe, which is just kind of cool. Yeah, one of the goats. It'd be cool to see a project. Check it out again. There's going to be projects in the future.
Starting point is 02:30:31 I feel like that are all from like cell phone recordings or something. There's going to be something that has to do with like. Oh, absolutely. The way kids do approach cell phones and stuff. And I could even see people like buying old like iPhones and using those instead of camcorders. Like the like just the audio like the visual quality being a little less than super HD but still pretty good. I can see people doing that too.
Starting point is 02:30:53 Yeah, I think too. like and as analog core goes on it's getting more and more abstractly you've got guys like this like dr nowhere who a lot of their stuff is really weird strange visuals and drawings and i mean you can see looking at the i feel like a lot of these people are inspired by like weird things definitely like david lynch and that kind of stuff or even and i look at that stuff like the thing that you just hovered over that just feels like david firth a lot too like those it's very very david first there's this one he did the boiled one phenomenon that it's his most popular where it's like this,
Starting point is 02:31:26 this guy shows up in your dreams and speaks to you. I mean, there's so many different iterations that this stuff's falling into. I mean, there's just a ton of very creative people online who like makes some really unique things. And it's interesting now with like the backrooms we talked about earlier.
Starting point is 02:31:43 Hollywood is starting to catch on to it. And be like, oh man, there's a lot of money in these things, ain't they? You know? Yeah. Well,
Starting point is 02:31:49 I think what we'll find too is I think, I think I think more and more Hollywood's just going to become more and more obsolete and these people are going to be able to like just fully do like larger scale stuff on their own. How cool is that? That's a great shot. Jesus Christ, fuck that. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:32:05 Good Lord. This entire, this entire short, the man in the tower is terrifying. Like it's coming down from the ceiling and getting closer to him. Yeah. Very sick. I know,
Starting point is 02:32:17 I know the creep TVs are kind of hit and miss, but I think it's always a fun break from, reading story. It's just cool being introduced to more media like this man. I think it's sick. And also I will say the nipple thief and Lou Bega, I think are great horror ideas and out there. And I hope that someone can find appreciation
Starting point is 02:32:37 in the Lou Bega and the nipple thief. There's, I mean, there's so much, like I said, this is like my wheelhouse. It's like creepy stuff, you know. So I'm always happy to take a walk down memory lane. and I know I understand like you know the format of creepcast on people prefer to listen to these things totally get that but it's also just fun to you know watch some really cool horror series you know yeah and I to me these are all adjacent to even like creepypastas of online people making horror stuff for online communities and
Starting point is 02:33:11 stuff so I think it's cool it's a nice blend but guys that's our creep TV today we appreciate you be sure to Check out some more stories.
